For years, I have loved shopping at thrift stores. I
Starting point is 00:00:39 used to purchase so many things at thrift stores. And I would, you know, I love the clothes that I would get. But one of the things that I always did was, you know, wash them before I would wear them. And now it's brought to light that, yeah, you need to do that for sure. According to this a ticotker One Never Twu T-W-H-O-O One Never Twu won. Apparently
Starting point is 00:01:11 bought some clothes at a thrift store and then didn't wash them before he wore them. And now he has contracted Moluscom contagionism. That does
Starting point is 00:01:26 not sound good. Moluscom contagionism. I'm pretty sure that's how it's pronounced. Meluscom. Yeah, so that's right. So it's moluscom. Maluscom.
Starting point is 00:01:38 Contaginism. And according to this, it's a viral skin infection that consists of small raised bumps on the skin. Yeah, you don't want that, and it does not look good. When you see the picture, you're going to be wishing you washed that shirt before you put it on. Wow. So apparently the condition is harmless and doesn't require treatment. Oh, so you just have to keep it clean and live with it? Wow.
Starting point is 00:02:10 I don't know how long the molluscom contagionism lasts. But according to a Cornell University senior lecturer in fiber science and apparel design, love that person. Garments are often treated with a fabric softener, a stain resistant or water repellent coating or an anti-mildew agent that can cause irritation, redness, and it also causes a molluscom contagionism. So you do not want that. Be sure that if you purchase clothes, even new clothes, really, I have a problem with wearing them
Starting point is 00:02:52 without being washed, but I have done that before. But if you purchase something at a thrift store, make sure that you, that you, wash it first before you put it on. If you don't, it could last about six months to two years. Holy cow, you do not want that. So just a rule of thumb, make sure you wash all clothes before wearing them, especially those coming from a thrift store. Welcome.
Starting point is 00:03:26 Welcome to chewing the fat. It would be difficult to get quite a bit of money from this, but a truckload of dimes scattered on a roadway in Texas. $800,000 worth of dimes. So what is that, like 8 million dimes? Cruise worked for about 14 hours to pick up all the loose change on the highway. No word on whether they picked them all up. They didn't know where the dimes were headed.
Starting point is 00:04:02 Sure, they were headed to the dime factor. Duh, to be cleaned and put back into circulation. But the driver apparently swerved and then tipped over and was taken to the hospital with non-threatening injuries. So they had this giant machine vacuum that sucked up all the coins, and other people were picking them up one dime at a time. That's what I mean.
Starting point is 00:04:28 Like the rule of chewing the fat is, if you were to come across an area that had spilled money all over it, you would, you know, maybe pick up some for yourself and then drive immediately to the police department and say, hey, I picked these up on the road and this is all, I want to turn them back in. I got carried away and you'd return some of them, but you keep some of them so that you end up, you know, having a little bit of cash. You just don't tell anybody. And you're already admitting that I got carried out.
Starting point is 00:04:58 I got carried away. And, you know, I just wanted to turn it back in because after I got in my car, I realized, Wow, what a dummy. And that way, when they have you on video picking up the cash, they say, you turn it back, you turned it back in. Which is always, I mean, that's a perfect rule. But with dimes, I mean, you're going to have to pick up a whole lot to be, have anything worth the time to pick up the dimes.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Although $800,000 worth of dimes, get yourself, you know, a couple million dimes. you're doing okay. But that's a heavy load. And I don't think anyone did that. But if they did, good for them. You know, we talked about this a little bit on Glenn Beck Radio. Pat Gray and myself are filling in for Glenn and Stu this week on Glenn Beck Radio. And we touched on this story.
Starting point is 00:05:52 But I just, it's been in my show prep and it drives me insane that it actually happened. This painting by Mark Rothko displayed at a museum in Rotterdam. was damaged by a child who made small scratches on its surface. How in the world do you allow that to happen? The work is about, I don't know, worth $57 million? Wait, what? Yeah. It's titled Gray, Orange, and, I'm sorry, not Ann.
Starting point is 00:06:25 It's titled Gray, Orange, on Maroon, number eight. Now the storage facility is open to the public and located next to the main building. So the incident occurred during an unguarded moment, which I don't know how that happens. The museum told the news outlet that the painting was worth about $57 million, as I said. And according to the press statement from the institution, the work sustained superficial but visible damage to the unvarnished paint layer in the lower section of the canvas. We're currently researching the next steps for the treatment of the painting, and we want to be able to show it again in the future.
Starting point is 00:07:10 We hope to, but we just don't know how it's going to get fixed. We don't know who we're going to hold responsible for it. We don't know who's going to pay for it. But, you know, still, that's a problem. So in this unguarded moment, this kid scratches this $57 million painting at this warehouse, this depot, that they're housing all this extra art. Just incredible, incredible. I don't know how you let that happen.
Starting point is 00:07:38 And I mean, who is responsible? The parents of the child, I'm guessing, have to be responsible. I don't know if they pay for it to be restored. I don't know what it would cost to have it restored. But someone needs to be responsible and that kid needs to be taken care of. Like, I don't know, at least don't let the kid around any kind of artwork anymore. He's just a kid, Jeff. And it didn't say he, just said a kid, so it may have been a girl.
Starting point is 00:08:10 But whoever it was needs to be held responsible because that is completely unacceptable, especially in an unguarded moment. I know that you're going to think I'm describing weight loss injections, but I'm not. These remarkable weight loss testimonials came from a doctor-formulated weight loss supplement called Lean. Patty S. said, I've finally found a weight loss product that works. I wanted to lose 20 pounds, and Lean really curbs my appetite. Lori M., I've struggled to get weight off, and lean has been a lifesaver. I've been losing a couple pounds a week or more. And Kelly F. said, amazing. I immediately noticed an energy boost and a healthy weight loss in weight.
Starting point is 00:08:57 I would promote this product to anyone. Fantastic. Good for them. Lean was created by a doctor and university researcher to target the goals of the GLP ones, but without the injections. The study ingredients in lean have been shown to lower blood sugar, radically reduce appetite, and burn fat by converting it into energy. So if you're struggling, to lose weight and healthy diet and exercise just isn't enough. Lean is for you. Let's get you started with 20% off. Use the code Jeffey 20 at takeleen.com. That's code Jeffey 20 at takeleen.com. Takeleen.com. Now, you know results are going to vary. Starting point is 00:10:42 19 plus Ontario only. Please play responsibly. Concerned by your gambling or that if someone close, you call 186653310 or visitcomex Ontario.ca. So the Tony Award nominations were given out today, and I was looking through them. The best play nominations are English, the Hills of California.
Starting point is 00:11:01 John Proctor is the villain. Oh, Mary. Purpose. So good luck to all of them. And then, of course, you've got the best musicals and the best book of musical and the best original score, music and or lyrics written for the theater.
Starting point is 00:11:21 You've got the best revival of a play. Okay, you've got the best revival of a musical. Oh, okay. Now, the best performance by an actor in a leading role in a play. George Clooney, good night and good luck. He probably is going to win that. Cole Escola for O'Mary, John Michael Hill for purpose, Daniel Day Kim for Yellowface, Henry Lennox for purpose.
Starting point is 00:11:50 No Danzel Washington. Right now I'm already angry. What the heck? Danzel did Othello on Broadway, and we're not going to. to go ahead and let him be nominated. We have the best performance by an actress. Yeah, Emil Farrell.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Wow, for doing the roommate. She may win that. Sarah Snook, the picture of Dorian Gray. Yeah, you remember her from Succession. And so she said that she was supposed to be great in that. Maybe she wins that. I don't know. As I'm going through this, I want to be excited about the Tony Awards,
Starting point is 00:12:26 but I'm not. so good luck to all the nominees and I hope that if you deserve to win you win oh I see Bob Odenkirk's name here what is he nominated for best performance by an actor in a featured role in a play okay Bob Odenkirk Glenn Gary Glenn Ross best performance by an actress yep don't care I don't see they they they they've Denzel Washington is not nominated. Okay. The Tony Awards even worth watching it. That's up to you. You can decide if you want to watch them on June 8th. They're airing live from Radio City Music Hall on CBS and streaming on Paramount Plus. So you make the call. Oh no. Oh no. Katie Perry says she's been battered and bruised by
Starting point is 00:13:25 backlash. Oh no. The internet is a dumping ground for unhinged and unheeled. Yeah, there's no question about that. So she's responded to the backlash following criticism of her new music tour and Blue Origin spaceflight earlier this month, writing in a social media comment that she's felt battered and bruised but has kept looking to the light. Well, that's good. She has to. So apparently, the concert tour is not going well. And she took a beating for being an astronaut.
Starting point is 00:14:05 Uh-huh. But she did. She did actually do what she said she was going to do, and she put the ass back in astronaut. So good for her. And I hope everything works out for Katie. I'm in an uplifting mood today, and I want everything to work out for everybody.
Starting point is 00:14:24 And, you know, Katie, of course, does because she keeps looking to the light. And she said, I love you guys. And I've grown up together. And I'm so excited to see you all over the world this year. And please know, I'm okay. I've done a lot of work around knowing who I am and what is real and what is important to me. Oh, that's good. So go ahead and see it.
Starting point is 00:14:43 And, you know, be sure to be like Katie and use the advice of a therapist like her. No one can make you believe something about yourself that you don't already believe. believe about yourself. When the online world tries to make me a human pinata, I take it with grace and send them love because I know so many people are hurting in so many ways and the internet is very much a dumping ground for the unhinged and the unheeled. Yeah, that's a shame, isn't it? I mean, that's kind of the way Aaron De Niro felt. She is the child of Robert Duch Niro, and she has now come out as a trans woman. I mean, we all kind of need. I mean, we all kind of knew that anyway. But she said not only was she motivated to become trans by Disney's
Starting point is 00:15:31 2023 live action, The Little Mermaid movie, she wanted to give an interview and come out because the tabloids and the headlines. They called her a Nepo baby son and they questioned her pink locks and feminine outfit. And not only did they get the information wrong about me, that's what Katie Sera and that's what Katie Perry is saying. They just sort of of reminded me that people really don't know anything about me. None of the outlets reached out to me before the stories were published, and it's part of why I've decided to speak out on my identity publicly. So she did an interview with them, and Aaron De Niro, who was born Aaron De Niro, except
Starting point is 00:16:15 born Aaron De Niro A-A-A-R-O-N, she's now Aaron A-I-R-N, which is, cute. See what she did there. A big part of my transition is also the influence of black women have had on me. Oh, okay. See, her mom is black. And I think stepping into this new identity, while she's also being more proud of my blackness, makes me feel closer to them in some way. Weird. Okay, according to the outlet, Haley Bailey's hair in the Little Mermaid marked a turning point in her journey toward gender expression. There's a difference between being visible
Starting point is 00:16:55 and being seen. And I've been visible. I don't think I've been seen yet. So she wants to be seen now. After her story was published, because she mentioned Leverne Cox in her interview with them and how strong she felt
Starting point is 00:17:14 that Leverne Cox gave her a silent permission. to become trans. Laverne noticed that and read that and sent a message to Aaron saying that she was deeply honored to have helped inspire Aaron in her transition.
Starting point is 00:17:30 I want to congratulate you for embracing the beauty that you are, the beauty that is being trans. I believe in every fiber of my being that we are anointed, claiming our transness and owning it is stepping into a sacredness that is really beautiful.
Starting point is 00:17:47 Oh, that is so nice. Leuverne Cox to reach out to Aaron De Niro. Now daughter, born son, to Robert Duchnero. I hope now that she realizes that she's more than visible, but we're seeing her now. So you don't have to worry about it. You have been seen. All right, let's go to the break room.
Starting point is 00:18:12 I need something cold to drink desperately. Be sure to. follow me on my ex at jeffey jf r you can follow me on facebook and instagram jeff fisher radio you can follow me on cameo and order a cameo as well at jeffey jfr on the cameo app that of course is not free uh but you can order a cameo any time worth every darn penny at jeffey jfr you can follow me on my youtube channel uh chewing the fat with jeff fisher and you can email the show anytime chewing the fat at the blaze dot com you can send questions, comments, you can send your submissions for joke of the day. You can say, hey, I want to be a contestant on what's the lie, the game show that we play every week here on Chewing the Fat. You can do
Starting point is 00:19:07 it all. I see them all. I may not comment on them all, but I do see them. Chewing the fat at theblaze.com. You know, speaking of game shows, I see where they're bringing back match game. I know. And guess who the host is going to be. Yes, you guessed it, Martin Short. Martin Short is going to come back with the match game show for a new season.
Starting point is 00:19:34 Now, I thought it was over. They ended it like four years ago on Disney, and that's when Alec Baldwin Yes, you have to hear that anytime I mention his name. That's a show rule. But he did it the last time that they did a reboot
Starting point is 00:19:49 on it. It's been, it launched 1962 aired on CBS, NBC, ABC, did syndication. So the most recent version of the show ran five seasons. Wow, okay. So it features four contestants each week vying for a chance to win $25,000 as they attempt to match the answers of six celebrities and a game fill in the blank show.
Starting point is 00:20:15 Yeah. I mean, it's amazing how these game shows are all making a big comeback since, you know, America's favorite game show, What's the Lie started coming together? Just saying everybody wants in on the game show business. So good, happy to have Martin Sheridan along for the host of Match Game. Originally, I thought it was going to be Sarah Jessica Parker. Wow, she would not have been good.
Starting point is 00:20:40 But she was in talks with them to do the host, be the host on match game. And that deal wasn't closed. So, yeah, we're going with Martin Short. He'll be a lot better than you anyway. Now, Alex's version. Yeah, go ahead. Got to put that in there. I know.
Starting point is 00:20:58 Anytime I say his name, his first name gets the gun cocking, last name, full name, and last name gets the gunshot version, no problem. His show, Alec Baldwin show, aired Sunday nights alongside Celebrity Family Feud and the $100,000 pyramid. on ABC's Sunday Fun. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:21 So we're not sure where this one is going to air. And also, they filmed it in New York. Now it's going to be filmed in Montreal, Canada. Okay. So good luck to Martin Short and match game. And good luck to it being filmed in Montreal, Canada. You know, speaking of things that have been around a long time, David Attenborough, he's going to be 99 next week,
Starting point is 00:21:46 99 years old, I'm sorry, Sir David Attenborough. And he's did an interview, of course, because he's going to turn 99, and he's, you know, he's Mr. Climate Change. And he released the documentary that shines a spotlight on the environmental crisis facing Earth's oceans, from destructive fishing practices to mass coral bleaching while offering a message of hope. Oh, okay. So in a moving narration, Attenborough contrasts past views.
Starting point is 00:22:16 of the sea with modern understanding. And when I first saw the sea as a young boy, it was thought of as a vast wilderness to be tamed and mastered. Still kind of is. Now as I approach the end of my life, we know the opposite is true. Oh, okay, sorry. Describing the ocean as Earth support system,
Starting point is 00:22:36 the humanity's greatest asset against climate change. Attenborough stresses that restoring ocean health is critical. If we save the sea, we save our world. After a lifetime of filming our planet, I'm sure nothing is more important. Okay, all right. It is interesting, though, that he's been broadcasting for more than 70 years. Wow. I mean, he made his first TV appearance in 1953.
Starting point is 00:23:05 And according to this, he's become one of the world's most trusted voices in nature storytelling. I don't know that that's true. And now, you know, we have that. But one of the cool things that I didn't realize about David Attenborough is that now, for his career being 99 next week, he's won awards for programs in black and white, color, HD, 3D, 4K, and VR. That's pretty incredible. That is pretty incredible. So that alone makes me, you know, wish him happy birthday. but his climate change stands.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Take it easy, Dave. And another guy that's getting up there is Sam Elliott. I mean, I love Sam Elliott. I love his work. He's 80 now. They just announced that he's going to be a regular in season two of Landman on Paramount Plus. That's kind of cool.
Starting point is 00:24:04 That's a Taylor Sheridan show. And if you haven't watched season one, Paramount Plus, go there now and watch it really good. you know, Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, John Ham, but John Hamm probably won't be in season two unless it's a flashback scene or something because he, spoiler for Landman if you haven't seen it, but he dies. But he was great in it. And Billy Bob Thornton was awesome in it.
Starting point is 00:24:29 And it was a really good show. Season one was great. So Sam Elliott is going to be in season two of that. They work together in Tombstone. They worked together in 1883. And I know there were minor scenes together in those particular productions. But still, they were together. So anyway, Sam Elliott is going to be in season two of Landman.
Starting point is 00:24:58 And if you're not familiar with Landman, it's a show, but it's based on a podcast called Boomtown and deals with, you know, executives and field workers in the West Texas oil business. and it's really worth watching, a lot of fun, and a lot of eye-opening scenes where you go, huh, that is true, isn't it? Yes, yes it is. Thank you, Billy Bob Thornton.
Starting point is 00:25:25 You know, like this scene. Use clean energy to power the oil wells. They use alternative energy. There's nothing clean about this. Oh, going into the windmill fields. Please, Mr. Oilman. Tell me how the wind is back. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:48 As we get out of the truck, I'll be happy to explain it to you. We're in this giant wind farm. You have the idea how much diesel they have to burn to mix that much concrete or make that steel and haul this shit out here and put it together with a 450 foot crane? You want to guess how much oil it takes to lubricate that can thing? Or when does it? And his 20-year lifespan, it won't offset the carbon footprint. making it and don't get me started on solar panels and the lithium in your Tesla battery
Starting point is 00:26:18 okay and never mind the fact that if the whole world decided to go electric tomorrow we don't have the transmission lines to get to electricity to the cities it'd take 30 years if we started tomorrow and unfortunately for your grandkids we have a hundred and twenty-year petroleum-based infrastructure our whole lives depend on it and help Well, it's in everything. That road we came in on. The wheels on every car ever made, including yours. It's in tennis rackets and lipstick and refrigerators and antihistamines.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Pretty much anything plastic. Your cell phone case, artificial heart valves, any kind of clothing that's not made with animal or plant fibers. Soap, hand lotion, garbage bags, fishing boats, you name it. And you know what the kicker is? We're going to run out of it before we find its replacement. Boom. I disagree with that. I do disagree with that.
Starting point is 00:27:20 I don't believe that we're going to run out of it because I believe the earth just keeps creating it. But that's just a clip from Landman's season one. So go. Watch among yourselves. With Amex Platinum, $400 in annual credits for travel and dining means you not only satisfy your travel bug, but your taste buds too. That's the powerful backing of Amex.
Starting point is 00:28:00 Conditions apply. All right, I want to take a moment and share some big news at Blaze TV. We're excited to officially welcome Nicole Shanahan and her show. Welcome to Blaze TV, Nicole. Now, Nicole Shanahan, go take a sneak peek at the YouTube before her Blaze TV show begins. We're back to the people.
Starting point is 00:29:28 All right. Who died today? Who died today? Well, let's begin with David Horowitz. David Horowitz. Very sad. I knew David. I like David very much.
Starting point is 00:29:41 I mean, I've talked to him several times. Didn't know him. I mean, we weren't friends. But he is dead at the age of 86. Apparently, he has passed away due to cancer. According to his wife, very sad. He was a radical leftist. in the 60s.
Starting point is 00:30:00 He called himself a Marxist. And then he had a complete turnaround when he realized, hey, that's stupid. And he really backed President Trump. And he also was a mentor to Stephen Miller, who we love now as a spokesperson,
Starting point is 00:30:19 part of, you know, one of the Trump advisors. So rest in peace, he started the David Horowitz Freedom Center, a think tank that he founded in Southern California. You know, it's just a really smart man, wrote a lot of books. If you have an opportunity to read anything by David Horowitz, do so. David Horowitz, rest in peace, dead at the age of 86.
Starting point is 00:30:42 Then we have Robert Douglas. Robert Douglas, whose black dog became a symbol of summer. Dies at the age of 93. Robert Douglas, sailor, aviator, founded the Black Dog Tavern at Marlowe. Martha's Vineyard gained national recognition through shirts emblazoned with his K-9 mascot, the Labrador Boxer Mix with the tail upturned. And I guess, you know, that became a symbol of the laid-back summer days. So Robert Douglas, founder of Black Dog Tavern and the Black Dog symbol dead at the age of 93.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Apparently, the cause of death was prostate cancer. Very sad. 93. Rest in peace to Robert Douglas. Then we have Jeff Spurbeck. Jeff Spurback, longtime friend and business partner with John Elway. John Elway, yes, former NFL player for the Denver Broncos. He has passed away from injuries he suffered from falling off a golf cart being driven by John Elway. So Jeff Spurbeck dead at.
Starting point is 00:31:57 62. Look, we've all hopped on golf carts on the back of a golf cart and it takes off and apparently that happened. I don't know if he was standing up. I don't know if he was sitting down, but he fell off and hit his head and he was in a coma for several days and then he has passed away at the age of 62. Very sad. I hope and pray that nobody was drinking and they were just outgolving and it was a legitimate, I'm sure, even if they were drinking that it was a legitimate accident. But if L.W. was drinking at the time or whatever, it's going to be bad because they'll blame it on that when it was just an accident. So I hope that's not the case.
Starting point is 00:32:37 But rest in peace to Jeff Spurbeck, dead at the age of 62. Then we have Tom Brown. Tom Brown dead at the age of 84. Tom Brown was a two-sport athlete, and he helped the Green Bay Packers win a title in 1966. Very sad. Tom Brown dead at 84. His story is fascinating. He was playing baseball and football for Maryland. And he went to Green Bay and said after they had won one championship game in 62. And he said, oh, yeah, these guys are big. I'm going to go play baseball. So he passed on his final season of college baseball eligibility, assigned
Starting point is 00:33:27 a minor league contract with the Washington Senators, played a season for the Senators after impressing at spring training, started at first base. Then he wasn't good enough and he got replaced. And then he ended up batting on a 147, 61 game, 17 hits, and not that good. Four RBI's a home run.
Starting point is 00:33:45 And he didn't want to play with the Packers again in 1963, tried to make the roster for the Senators, and they said, oh, no, you're not good enough, you're not playing. And he said, we'll send you down to the minors. And he was like, I'm not playing to the minors. I'm going to quit. I'm going to go sign with Green Bay.
Starting point is 00:33:59 He played for Green Bay for six seasons. And he was part of Green Bay's three straight NFL title winning teams. So rest in peace to Tom Brown dead at the age of 84. You know, I started this segment telling you about Nicole Shanahan joining Blaze TV. And I might as well tell you how to get Blaze TV. Maybe after David Edinburgh turns 99 next week, we can get his voice working on to tell us a story about the European Space Agency that has launched a first-of-its-kind satellite to weigh the world's force. measure how much carbon they store and monitor changes. Scientists hope the data will help refine climate models and track deforestation to support global targets to end forest loss by 2030. Yeah, we don't want that. Lifted by a rocket off French Ghana, the biomass satellite uses a 12-meter radar antenna
Starting point is 00:36:58 to penetrate dense forest canopies and directly measure woody biomass. Okay. You know, the trunks, the branches, the stems, where most forest carbon resides, the latest technology overcomes the limitations of previous satellites, which struggle to see beyond leafy services. So we send them up and there, yeah, there's leaves. We don't know what's going on. So this satellite will produce annual maps over a five-year mission,
Starting point is 00:37:25 offering unprecedented insight into forest health and carbon storage. I actually am looking forward to seeing this annual map, and it better not be doctored. I want to see the actual map of what this thing is doing. Because I know forests are known as Earth's green lungs. You know, they observe, according to this, 16 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide each year. And he met half that amount,
Starting point is 00:37:49 resulting in a net absorption of roughly 8 billion metric tons annually. Deforestation, degradation, however, released stored carbon back into the atmosphere, contributing to the warming climate. Yeah, it does. You know, making, I don't know, weather. So we'll see. I'd like to see the map.
Starting point is 00:38:06 I want to know who makes the map. I want to know all about that. So anyway, we have that to look forward to. I mean, I know that, you know, the science of forests are wonderful, right? I mean, everybody wants to go bathe in the forest. I was just reading a story about how bathing in the, I'm sorry, it's not bathing in the forest. It's called forest bathing, how it can boost health and lower stress. And, you know, I get it.
Starting point is 00:38:33 You go out into the forest, I call it woods, but you go out into the woods and, you know, you're doing nature walk and you feel better about yourself. Okay, yeah. But I don't know that I would explain it that there's a moment of awe that washes over you when you step into a forest. And it just washes over you. The old trees, tower above, sunlight twinkling through them, birds tweet, spiders weave. Okay, calm down. And the smell of pine needles fill the air. and you're in smack dab in the middle of your forest bathing.
Starting point is 00:39:09 Okay. I mean, go out in the woods. No problem. Walk around. Feel better about your life. Feel better about everything. But relax on forest bathing, okay? If it makes you feel better, good.
Starting point is 00:39:22 I'm happy for you and I want that to happen. I was yesterday, I saw a post that was Jay Leno. And Jay is looking better these days. You know, remember he had the, fire burning and then he had the and then he had the fall down the hill there so he's looking better but he's in the back of a car and he's recording a bit i'm not sure what he's recording it for but he's telling stories and maybe he's on his way i don't know if it's a new j leno thing i'm not sure what it is but he tells a story about how baroque obama told him to lose his
Starting point is 00:39:59 number and it's kind of funny no number next time you come out of the tonight show was the president of the United States. It's the first time the president had ever done that. I don't know, but that's true. Okay. So then having the same idiot friends I've had since eighth grade,
Starting point is 00:40:12 let's call them up. I go, no, we're not going to call him. No, you don't have it. It's noon time. It's three o'clock. All right, I'll call. I'll call. I'll hear.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Brock here. I'm here with some friends of mine. Lose this number, Jay. Click. Okay. So was he being serious or not? Well, he's president. The United States.
Starting point is 00:40:41 The idiot comedian calls you. Yeah, thank you. He just said, lose this number. That's kind of funny. That's kind of funny. I don't care who he are. You know, Jay's trying to show off to his buddies. You don't have it.
Starting point is 00:40:52 Yeah, I do. No, you don't. All right, I'll call him. Lose this number, Jay. But he proved to his friends he had the number. So that works. That reminded me of the Jay Leno joke, one of my favorite jokes of all time.
Starting point is 00:41:03 And I don't know why it's one of my favorite jokes. I just like it. It's a Jay Leno joke he told on some show. It might have been, might have been Seinfeld's coffee show. Maybe it was that show. I just, I don't remember where I heard him say it, but he talked about where he was working on a new joke,
Starting point is 00:41:21 and he was talking about two guys are walking along, and they come up on this giant hole in the ground, and there's a brick, there's a brick laying there next to the hole, and the guy says, I wonder how deep the hole is? And the guy says, I don't know, let's find out, and he throws the brick down into the hole. And they're standing there waiting to see if they can hear anything, and all of a sudden they hear something
Starting point is 00:41:41 would come running up behind them really fast and it's a sheep and this sheep falls down into the hole and holy cow that was kind of strange. The next thing you know this sheepherder comes up and says, hey, have you seen my sheep? I had my sheep here.
Starting point is 00:41:58 I don't know what happened to him and the guy says, yeah, fell down that hole there. And the sheep herder says, that's impossible. I had them tied to a brick. That's impossible. I got them tied to a brick. You get it. Stream and subscribe to more Blaze Media content
