Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne, Fran giving you that Friday energy on a Monday. And it is that Monday, Friday energy we are giving you indeed. Fran, how are we doing today?
Starting point is 00:00:35 The Eagles won. So you seem to be in great spirits. Good spirits. Um, I, what? Not great spirits? No, good spirits. Good. Spirits are high.
Starting point is 00:00:46 I, I'm tired. I, I kind of thought I was going to have like quiet weekend, not, uh, not, not really go out, like, hang around. And I did. I still had that. But, um, nighttime, like, I'm tired. I was coming home, coming home late, fell asleep on the couch both nights with life. all my makeup on just.
Starting point is 00:01:12 Franny, baby, you can't be doing that. You got to do the skincare routine at night. I know. I know. I know. I know. And both, it was literally the same exact, like, Saturday morning, Sunday morning, same exact wake up like 7 a.m.
Starting point is 00:01:24 In all my clothes. Like, look at my phone. It says like, 6.59. I'm like, oh, fuck. If there is one thing I'm good for, it's for washing my face at night. I never sleep with my makeup on. It is not a thing that I do. ever even if I'm, even if I will act out, I'm taking my makeup off.
Starting point is 00:01:44 That is what I find very impressive, because I'm normally very good about it. But if I do like, if I am borderline on that drunk level, it's, it's not, I'm just falling asleep. I can't do it. Excuse me out. But respect. Respect to you for just, for just being able to fall asleep like that. You know, it's Sunday.
Starting point is 00:02:05 So everyone's little tired, but Thanksgiving is coming up this week. you know we love Thanksgiving, big Thanksgiving supporters on this podcast for the food mainly. You know, I love my mashed potato time. But first we have to mention that this podcast is presented to you by dat chat. Datchat is the new social networking app that we all have on our phones at Barstool. We are loving it specifically because we've created these great groups on there, chicks in the office group, cutting stems group where you could talk about chicks in the office. You could talk about our episodes.
Starting point is 00:02:33 You could talk about topics in pop culture that are hot right now, all the topics we're going to talk about today you could talk about in the chat with other fellow chicks in the office fans. And then, of course, cutting stems. When we're watching The Bachelorette, we're also live in Dachat, talking to you guys, commenting pictures that we're not posting anywhere else. We're posting in Dachat. So you can go to Dachat.com slash Barsol and you can get more info and download Dachat. And of course, they have the great power of messaging that you can't screenshot.
Starting point is 00:03:01 You can't screenshot anything in Dachat, first of all. So your comment boards, anything you're commenting, anything you're posting cannot be screen shot or shared anywhere. Also, you could put a limit on things for how long they stay up there, five seconds, 20 seconds, 10 days, 20 minutes, whatever it is that you want, you have the power to control what you say, which is, you know, on social media these days, it lives forever. On Datchat, it does not. You control that. Maybe you want to send a little sexy picture here and there. Maybe you want to send a little nude. You don't want anyone else to see it. The cloud exists in our lives. Apple's got us in a fucking chokehold, but Datchats,
Starting point is 00:03:37 got your back. So download datchat. You can go to datchat.com slash bar stool and you'll get all the information you need. And you could talk to us on there as well. Love it. Love dat chat. Speaking of family, I think that everyone should subscribe to the chicks in the office YouTube because Ria's world that came out tonight. It's going to be Monday when you listen to this. So it's out already is my sister's bridal shower. So it's very wholesome. Lots of family time. Ria. made a speech that I can't even watch because it makes me highly uncomfortable. But everyone should watch it and subscribe.
Starting point is 00:04:15 Oh, that sounds really cute. Also speaking about the YouTube, either this week but probably the week after, we'll have that whole live show tour recap video. It'll probably be like over 30 minutes long. I think it'll be good. So everyone should subscribe to see that. One might call in a short film. It is.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Yeah, I was thinking that. I don't want to sound too pretentious. but wow that that is very exciting so everyone subscribe to the chicks in the office youtube go watch the vlogs and look out for the whole tour also very exciting news we will be at the people's choice awards yes we got an invite folks don't know if that's good bad if it means nothing at all but we did get invited uh the invite came in on friday afternoon and there was no better way to enter the weekend. Yeah, it was the best news.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Now we got a, I don't know, now it's time to find outfits. We're going to go different this year. We're not doing gowns. Yeah, yeah. I want to, you know, it's our second carpet now, you know, act like you've been there before. We don't have to dress like we're going on the Oscars.
Starting point is 00:05:30 I'm going to spice it up. I don't know how, but I'm going to spice it up. I love it. I love it. I love the idea of it. But no, I remember I said on Friday I was going to, I wanted to talk about Thanksgiving in a way, but because I saw my parents this weekend. We went out to dinner Saturday night. It's very nice. Like one, it's very nice that they live so close to me now. They're in New York. Good to see them. My dog, like I said, my dog's got to come over to watch football today. Like it's really very nice. Your dogs watch football with you? Yeah, they did. I mean, they were on the couch the whole time. So yeah, pretty much.
Starting point is 00:06:09 But Thanksgiving now, it's like the first time without, you know, our house in New Jersey for holidays and stuff. And I guess, like, it's interesting. I'm sure tons of people can relate to it and, like, their parents moving out of their childhood home or whatever. And, like, I'm no. And of course, like, my mom's giving me shit. She's like, you're 27 years old. Like, when I was your age, I was moving into a house with a husband. Like, you don't get to spend every holiday with your family and your childhood home forever.
Starting point is 00:06:48 Like, grow up. I was like, all right, fine, fine. But it's interesting because it's just like that Wednesday night before Thanksgiving, I was like, damn, you know, normally you're out in town with your friends, in the town you grew up in. I was like, just going to like be in my apartment. You're just going to be in the city. Yeah. But you know what it reminds me of?
Starting point is 00:07:10 A very gossip girl Thanksgiving. So true. Maybe I should go to a swanky hotel. You should. Instead of the bar and drink martinis. Absolutely you should. I mean, I really should. That's a good idea.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Screaming, gossip girl Thanksgiving to me. Speaking of martinis, I learned something from Jason Tartick and Boston last week that I now took into my weekend with me. Espresso martini on the rocks. Game changer. Absolute game changer. Because I love ice. I don't know why.
Starting point is 00:07:45 I just love ice. You do. And oh my God. I love an espresso martini. It just makes it even better. I feel like anything on the rocks kind of is better. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Because if you like ice, like I do. Right. It also just waters down your drink. so it makes it easier to drink. That too. Do you like a good white Russian? I've never had. I've never had a white Russian.
Starting point is 00:08:09 But I feel like that would be similar to like an espresso martini with ice somewhat, like a little bit. Kind of like the milky taste. Yeah. Yeah. It's so good. So everyone out there, if you're drinking espresso martinis and you want to change it up, espresso martini on the rocks. Love it.
Starting point is 00:08:26 Dinner Friday night. So good. So good. That sounds amazing. But yeah, now, I mean, we're getting up for the week. We're going to have a busy December, it feels like, hopefully with spending some time in L.A. So time to appreciate the couple days we got here. We are going to have an episode Wednesday for Bachelor Recap and everything.
Starting point is 00:08:49 But Thursday, Friday, we will not have an episode. And Monday, we will not have an episode. Correct. Yes, okay, double checking. But so, yes, so Friday and Monday, we will be off for the holiday, just taking some us time. Are you going to be home? Is the whole gang going to be in the Chippo house? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:12 My parents were like, are you going to be home for Thanksgiving? I was like, what? They were like, I don't know. You come and go. If you told them you were spending Thanksgiving at Devin's house in New Jersey, I bet they would be like, okay. They literally said to me. And for people who are listening to this, I need to make it clear.
Starting point is 00:09:33 Obviously, Devin is not my girlfriend, but people, we always joke around that she is because we are together. I'm at her apartment right now. I was going to say, you're literally in her bedroom right now. We spend every day together and not just because we work together, but then we, like, leave and hang out together all the time. So my parents were like, is your girlfriend coming for Thanksgiving? Because, like, wouldn't even be surprised if she was coming over for Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:09:55 that's how much time we spent together. But yeah, no, it will just be me. And I'll be on Long Island. It's going to be the Chiffo fam, obviously. My sister texted me before. She goes, you want to do shrooms on Thanksgiving? I was like, are you crazy? Like, I said to her, I said, I don't think doing drugs on Thanksgiving is a good idea for me anymore.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Maybe the next day or the day after that. But like, no fucking thank you. I would like to be sober as a clam on Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving and just enjoy my food. And I told you guys, I really stopped smoking a lot. Like, I don't even know if I, maybe I took one hit yesterday. Like, I really just have, I know that sounds crazy. Everyone's like, you still took a hit. Slow clap. I know it sounds crazy. And it's like, oh, you still took a hit. But like compared to, you guys know how much I really, like, I used to smoke like three blunts a day at one point of my life. Like, I don't know what was Rama. Like, who am I?
Starting point is 00:10:54 I feel great, but I just want to be sober on Thanksgiving and just enjoy the food. And I'll drink, of course, but no drugs. No drugs for Big Re on Thanksgiving. It'll be a nice whole day. Did Nicole forget what happened last year? I literally said to her. I was like, what are you thinking? And I put it up on my story and my cousins replied to me.
Starting point is 00:11:20 Like, we all remember, don't do it again, please. Please don't ruin Thanksgiving again. Yeah. I mean, I've, this isn't the first Thanksgiving I've ruined. Like, the other Thanksgiving I've ruined
Starting point is 00:11:34 was about the mashed potatoes when nobody made mashed potatoes and I fucking flipped a shit. I was like, it's Thanksgiving. How the fuck did nobody make mashed potatoes? And that was a bad Thanksgiving. And I'm dramatic on Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:11:47 So this year I'm planning on being, I'm planning on being just neutral. neutral is good neutral is good for especially for thanksgiving yeah it's a nice family holiday all right let's get into the topics why don't we adele released her new album called 30 on friday we have a couple of breakup speculations with some couples that we talk about quite often and brittney spears was shading christina aguilary on her instagram story we also have christina christina who What is you said? Christina
Starting point is 00:12:27 coming in? Christina who? Christina Aguilera Brittany Spears was also shading Christina Aguilera on her Instagram and yes, I am redoing this because right before that I said Christina Aguilari.
Starting point is 00:12:40 And we also have a great game of trivia and Bree and Nikki Bella, the Bella twins who are so awesome. We had such a fun conversation with them. It's not even an interview really. It's just a great conversation. we love when guests are like that. So let's get into it starting off with Adele. The holidays are coming up. Adele released her new album called 30 this past Friday, which was perfect November vibes for all the people out there. Adele's voice is obviously beautiful and people are loving this album. She knows how to just rip your heart out. Like the, of course, like everybody is used to Adele's music, I feel like,
Starting point is 00:15:30 and the big, the big just voice and the instrumentals are so focused on just making her sound amazing. And these, there's some different vibes of different songs. there's ones that will just like put you in instant tears like strangers by nature is the first song of the album you know you listen to it first and it's like big it's it's churchy like it has like almost feels like it's like sound of music vibes like it's it's got this big production and then it goes into easy on me which we've all have heard and listened to a billion times it's always on the radio a great one and then it goes into my little love but and her son is a voice is in it and she's talking a lot in this one being like, you know, am I making mistakes here?
Starting point is 00:16:20 Like, is this the right decision, like worried about her kid or like? It's so, it's so emotional. It literally really feels like she took her diary and just like put it into an album and let the entire world listen to it. Yeah, I agree. And you know why I love Adele because she, these songs could be very serious and deep, but Adele also has an awesome fun personality and I think that when I listen to her
Starting point is 00:16:50 I always think of that as well like I think of the carpool karaoke of her rapping monster and other really funny things that she does and I just think she seems like an overall great fun person who really knows how to articulate all her feelings in music like she's just so good and I think it's been a really long time since she's put out an album
Starting point is 00:17:08 and then people are reminded of how great of an artist Adele really is funny. I woke up Friday morning and was listening to it in bed, which was exactly how I was like listened to Taylor Swift's album last week too. And Joe just like came in like he popped it.
Starting point is 00:17:28 He opened the door because he was working in the living room and was just like, what is this now? And I'm like, Adele. And he's like, can't a guy catch a break? Like you're going to cry all day again? Like it's like, yeah, I might. I just might. That's so fair.
Starting point is 00:17:45 All the people with boyfriends or girlfriends are like, their significant others are like, did I do something to you? Like you want to talk about something for the single bitches out there like myself, we're, you know, it's,
Starting point is 00:17:59 I'm like, I got to find something to get upset about. Like, could somebody like break my heart or something real quick? I mean, when you get to the end of the album, and she's just like, she,
Starting point is 00:18:09 she just still, despite everything she went through, wants to find love again and have love in her life and you're just it's such a journey and you know what is so baller that I saw on Twitter she said to Spotify like Spotify I guess when you listen to an album and it comes up the first button like the big button is shuffle so like it's like you listen to the album you you can listen to it straight through but that button is like a shuffle button adele had them change their interface like completely so that that when you go and listen to an album,
Starting point is 00:18:46 that button isn't the shuffle button. It's now played from the beginning because Adele says that every album should be listened to start to finish. That's how the artist intends for it to be listened to. They put all this work into what song goes where and that it should be listened to it without order. And Spotify was like, whatever you say, Queen, we'll change it. So I actually agree with that.
Starting point is 00:19:09 And that's something that's always confused me about concerts. So one album in particular that I'm so familiar with is fine line. Like I know what song comes after what song. Like it goes right and I've always listened to that album from beginning to end. And every time I do listen to those songs, I listen to it from the beginning of the end of the album. And obviously, when you go to a concert, it's not like that. Like the album, I mean, they put songs all out of order. but I don't know why they don't play the album.
Starting point is 00:19:42 It didn't because it was the first time when we saw Harry Stiles. Didn't he perform the album straight through that time? Yes, he did it that time. But that's like the only time. I think he said too. He was like, this is the only time I'm going to like play it through. But I was at a John Mayer concert a few years ago
Starting point is 00:19:58 and he just decided to play continuum like the entire album straight through. And it was like insane. Right. And the crowd and I'm sure all the fans get so excited because that's how they know the album. And so it has always confused me. It's just the thing they do, obviously. But it has always confused me why artists don't do that more often at concerts.
Starting point is 00:20:20 It's like, let's just play this album straight through. Because I feel like if you have so many bangers, like you would, you would not have enough time to play anything else. Oh, people would freak out. I mean, if you go just and if you went to an Adele show, like say Adele goes on tour and it's the, you know, 30 tour. And she's got, she has 12 songs. on this album. So right away, like, you maybe have space for like two, three more songs,
Starting point is 00:20:45 like max in a, in a show, like for normal time concert. So it's like, you're going to go and you're like, oh, I'm going to an Adele show and she's, she didn't play like fucking rolling in the deep. Yeah, yeah. That makes sense. But I think I'm only thinking of Harry Styles in a way because it's like he doesn't have that many. Like, he does. Like, he does. Like, he does. Like, he. Kiwi and other songs on his other album. But yeah, you're right. Like if I went to an Adele show and I didn't hear Rolling in the Deep, I would be very upset. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:21:19 Exactly. So the whole album is really great. And I do, I just love seeing so much more of Adele, you know, because she was doing so. She had press for the album. She is truly one of the best, like, I think personalities. I really feel like I dream like girl group, celebrity hangout. for me is like wine night at Adele's house with like Jennifer Lawrence and like their other neighborhood friends like they just seem like so much fun. Adel seems like so much fun.
Starting point is 00:21:51 I would say I think and I was talking about this with my friends because we were all debating like what songs we love and don't love. But I think I think oh my God is my favorite. And it's just it's tough. I really like. I really like to be loved. And I really like love as a game as well. But there's a lot of good ones, obviously. The whole thing is very good. You know what?
Starting point is 00:22:17 Also sucks. Not sucks, but I don't know. Something about when the first single from the album comes out is easy on me. And it's so great that I'm listening to the whole album. I'm like, is this my favorite one on the whole album? But then I don't want to pick that one because it's already been out.
Starting point is 00:22:33 It's like, there's got to be another one. But she probably put out, like, maybe she put the best one out for her. That was my personally my least favorite, surprisingly. Really? Yeah. Oh, I like that one a lot. And I think the more you listen to an album, the more you find songs that you wouldn't expect to be your favorite,
Starting point is 00:22:51 which happens to me every single time an album comes out. I think I know my favorite and then I listen to it. Or there's like a song that I listened to once and I don't really go back to it because the first time I listened to it didn't spark an interest to me. But then you go back and you like, accidentally hear it somehow and you're like, wait a second, what is this song and that that becomes your favorite? Like, I listened to Adele's album, but I did not listen to it again, like, not enough to know truly what my favorite on that album is. But because of the days we have off this week and
Starting point is 00:23:24 like a lot of free time, I think I'm really just going to like soak in to Adele's album, really get my feelings out there. Yeah, you should. You should. It is, it is, it makes you feel that way. 100%. It's really, really great. And I can't, I hope she does shows. I actually, I watched an interview and she said she's not touring this album. Oh, fucking hell. Yeah. She said like, because she thinks it'd be on, like,
Starting point is 00:23:52 when she wrote this, she was in different space. She says, I want to, like, perform these songs now. Makes sense. That's very fair. And she's very happy now in her new relationship. So good for her. Yeah, makes sense. Go on tour.
Starting point is 00:24:04 Don't play a single song from the song. this album. Yeah. Rolling in the deep 10 times. Play the good play the hits. Oh man. I've wanted to go see Adele so many times and I've never been able to do it. She played on my birthday one year like I want to say
Starting point is 00:24:19 like in like 2016. I don't even know it might have been earlier than that. And I wanted to get tickets so bad and they were so fucking expensive. I was so pissed. I think an Adele concert would absolutely rip me to shreds. Oh yeah. I think I'd be torn up after an Adele concert.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Has to. All right. We got some breakup speculation for two couples that Fran loves. Like, I don't even know how this is happening at the same time right now, but I will preface it because Fran is a little upset right now. Zach and Tasia, rumors are that they are taking a little break in their relationship to me. That means breakup, but they say a break. Maybe they'll get back together.
Starting point is 00:25:01 Maybe they need some time apart. Who knows? And then there are rumors that Nick Jonas and Preachian, Priyanka Chopra are not doing great as well. She removed Jonas from her Instagram name, but she also removed Chopra. It just says it just says Priyanka. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:16 It's very confusing, a little misleading. How we feel in Fran, because I know you cannot be happy about the Zach and Tasha one. They were just running the marathon together. This is what confuses me. They were just running the marathon together. These videos of them running,
Starting point is 00:25:29 stopping, kissing each other. So cute. And then the next week, I think honestly, things move fast. I get that. Like, I'm not going to be shocked that they were kissing one week and the next week they break up. But it's just like, whoa, what's happening here?
Starting point is 00:25:42 And then Nick and Priyanka, who knows? Those two don't even seem like they're ever really together. I, first of all, I, my entire DMs all weekend long were just girls sending me either the post about Zach and Decia or the Duma story about Nick and Priyanka. Like literally, every single message is like, you good, sis. Like, and it's all just entirely about them. And mine was comments, like, all my comments are like, Fran, are you okay? Like commenting on all like the Zachentatious stuff. And I almost wanted to like post on my story being like, you know what, guys?
Starting point is 00:26:20 I'm not, I'm not, I'm not believe in any of this until one of them says something. Because right now, I know it blew up and it got reposted on every bachelor Instagram account, like everything. Everybody's talking about it. The story came from life and style. And like, we're, we're just, we're just trusting life and style now. That's just what we're doing. We've never trusted life and style, but now we are. I also want to add quickly that your DMs were filled, filled with that.
Starting point is 00:26:48 And my DMs were filled with P. Davidson and Kim Kardashian being like, you okay? We were rooting for you, but it's over. Yeah, really shows how invested, again, to this. But yeah, bad rumors, I will say, especially on the Zach and Tasha front. because it's like they just ran the marathon together. How could this be? And then there were these hosts and people were saying that, you know,
Starting point is 00:27:12 a friend of a friend or so-and-so saw them at the marathon or was running next to them and said that he like wasn't being very nice. So they're the marathon, you know, like she's trying to walk. And he's like, you gotta keep going. And this is the thing. We, from the outside, that personally to me is very hard to judge. How do you think you, like,
Starting point is 00:27:34 we have no idea how we would act running a marathon. Like, and, and he seems like such a, like an adrenaline guy where he, like, that could be his thing. And he's run marathons before. This was Tasia's first marathon. So they could, could have just been on different wavelengths. But, yeah, I don't know. I'd probably be a real bitch during a marathon. Like if my, if my boyfriend was like, let's go, you got this rear run.
Starting point is 00:27:58 And I wanted to walk. I'd be like, shut the fuck up. I'm walking. Yeah. I don't know if that's grounds for a breakup. but a lot of small things could lead to a big thing. There had to have been something else. If this is true, I don't really see it just like they had, they were arguing during the
Starting point is 00:28:17 marathon and like they broke up. I'd be like, uh, okay. Like there had to have been some other stuff going on. Don't you think. But I still don't even believe it. I still don't even believe it until it comes from them. I believe it. But don't you think that when people make a lot of comments,
Starting point is 00:28:33 comments about other people's relationships in a way that's like, yeah, they were fighting during the marathon. They must have broke up. It's like, you've never been in a relationship before, huh? Because you don't just fight over one thing and break up. Like, it could have been so many things built up and then the fucking marathon put them over the edge. But it's not just, hey, we fought during the marathon and we broke up.
Starting point is 00:28:57 Right. And it's not even like, I know at the time, it hasn't been like so much time, but they're engaged. Like it's right. You're not saying, oh, we, the marathon, like, turned into something. And I know, like, she was in the hospital after the marathon, not due. She said not due to anything from the marathon. It was other stuff, but, like, clearly going through, going through a lot right now. And then this happens.
Starting point is 00:29:25 So, yeah, we'll see. Like I said, I'm firmly in the denial until this comes from an actual reliable source. And if that happens, then we'll have to talk again. And I will be very upset. I know I've been worried. I wanted these two to work so much. But it's also like, if they were to come out and be like, look, Tisha wants to be the host of the Bouser Red and travel and work and do all these things.
Starting point is 00:29:54 And like, Zach's focused on his career and like doing his thing. And they're just the timelines and everything's just not like, meshing, I would, I would probably understand that as well. As far as Nick and Priyanka, this one feels, this is where I want to know your thoughts. No, this one feels much more far-fetched to me. I think we're grasping at straws here a little bit because Priyanka has been so busy and she's been filming, you know, she's been in London.
Starting point is 00:30:24 She was in like in London all year. She's been filming all this stuff. And, you know, Nick was just on tour. So their schedule is just like, we're not aligned at all. it did seem like whenever Nick was able to see her, they would. Priyanka was there for the roast filming that they did for Netflix, which, you know, was only a couple weeks ago. And yet, this all is really like stemming from the Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Starting point is 00:30:46 bio name change to just Priyanka, which, hey, could just be a rebrand. Like, I'm going by Priyanka now. One name. That's it. Share. Madonna. Priyanka. Adele.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Like, you know, she's just. Fran, Ria. She just wants to be, maybe she just wants to be Pryanka now, but I don't know, I would just be, it's like, would you be happy? And I'm like, well, not. Because if they, if a marriage ends,
Starting point is 00:31:16 now everyone's wondering, would I be happy? No, like, if a marriage ends, like, that's really fucked up and sad. And if Nick's sad, I'm sad, like, hello, you bleed, I bleed. Like, if he's sad, I'm, he's sad, I'm sad. And Priyanka, friend of the program, She's been on the show multiple times. Like, we have access to her in a great way.
Starting point is 00:31:38 She's been so great to us, which is for just like chicks in the office wise, so nice. They break up. Who knows where he goes next? And I don't even want to think about that. Like, I've accepted the fact that he's married. I don't want to go back to like, I don't know if I can live through like a Nick Jonas' a single era, I guess. You know how I know you really love Nick Jonas?
Starting point is 00:32:00 because you said if he's sad, I'm sad. Like that's true love right there. That's not like, oh, if he's with her, fuck her. Then like, you fucking love this guy. And if he's sad, you're sad. And I do understand the, if he's single, you have to worry about him like hooking up with other bitches. Like with Priyanka, you know he's just with Priyanka.
Starting point is 00:32:22 And so it's a lot easier to handle. If you know he's single, you don't know what he's doing every night. You don't know who he's sleeping with every night. And you got to live with that. You got to go to bed thinking. Where's Nick Jonas tonight? Exactly. And look, as much as everyone's like, well, that friend, you know, it could, it could be you.
Starting point is 00:32:38 It's not. It's not going to be me. Could be. It would. What if your life, I'm sorry. Let me just, and this is just a hypothetical here, what if your life pans out that you and Nick Jonas really were meant to be together and you end up being with Nick Jonas? This is the thing.
Starting point is 00:32:57 I had to say. Yeah. You know what? Then I would actually question Nick Jones' judgment because I can't imagine, like, dating someone that you have known has been a fan of you for so long in like borderline creepy way, you know? Yeah, like in a perverted way. Right. Like, like, say I meet this guy and he like wants to take me out and he's like, I've been following
Starting point is 00:33:26 your career since the beginning. I know everything about you. like I'd be like, ooh, I'm probably not going to go out. Right, because honestly, I, like, I, and this is no offense because obviously it is an honor that people listen to our show and follow us and our fans of us. But when guys DM me and they're like, I am such a big fan of chicks in the office, I'd love to take you out. I'm like, no.
Starting point is 00:33:50 Like, right, like, I'd actually rather you say, I know nothing about you. Yes, yes. So, yeah. And it's funny. Because when you're younger, like, and my fellow Jonas fans will relate to this, is like when you were younger and you would read all the fan, the Tiger Beats and the J-14s and like the interviews in them. And no matter what, they would always be asked, like, would you ever date a fan?
Starting point is 00:34:17 And they'd be like, sure. And you'd be like, yes, they would date a fan. And now that I'm older, I'm like, it's actually, don't date a fan. That would be weird. And they don't actually believe that. They have to say that to be nice because you sound like a dickhead when you're like, I wouldn't, I wouldn't date a fan. But like that's how majority of these people think, yeah, they'd hook up with fans.
Starting point is 00:34:39 Obviously, like when they're single and they're on tour or whatever groupies, that shit happens. But you know who date, remember the story of Jake T. Austin? Yeah. He dated a super fan. Yeah. It didn't last, but. Yeah. Also, technically, like, Nick Cannon was like a crazy.
Starting point is 00:34:59 he fan for Mariah Carey and then they married each other and didn't really work out. But he wasn't Nick Cannon. He was a fan at one point. Like what, like a fan of you could go on to be like some big celebrity, you know, you never know. Yeah. That is a good point. Yeah. It's very true. Yeah, who knows where I would be in my career if Nick and I's paths crossed as two single people, you know. You never know. You never know. You just never know. You never know. You never know. But, you also know. And I also really like don't, I don't, as of right now, like, a bio name change, don't really think that's enough to be like, ooh, something's happening. But I don't know. We're, I think people fixate a lot on this relationship also because Nick feels like such a family
Starting point is 00:35:52 guy and now his brothers are having babies. And it's like, and we just, we just don't see as much of Nick and Priyanka's relationship as of late because she's a fucking career woman and is working her ass off. She's in, like, she's in so many movies coming out soon. Like, she's in the new Matrix movie. She's like, she is, she's everywhere. So it's just like, I feel like it's just because we don't see them together as much
Starting point is 00:36:18 because she's been working and he's working too. So I don't know. Maybe come like next year, it'll, it'll be different. But as of right now, like, A name change isn't too much to go off of. It's Monday, everyone, and you know my favorite topic on Monday is talking about student loan debt. You guys know how much I appreciate Ernest because Ernest offers low-rate student loan refinancing, and you could check your rate risk-free in just two minutes.
Starting point is 00:36:50 With Ernest, you get radically flexible payments, and you can pick your loan term. Obviously, student loan debt can be a real bitch, can be a real hassle. I got a lot of student loans and I didn't even fucking finish college. I dropped out, but I still have student loans on my plate, which is quite annoying. And I know it annoys all of you out there as well. But by refinancing, you can reduce your loan term, save money or combine multiple loans into a simple monthly payment. And if you have any questions, you can even talk to a real live human being at Ernest to help you out because obviously I'm no professional at Ernest, but the people at Ernest can help you. So Ernest is offering our listeners a 100.

Britney Spears has been utilizing her Instagram story feature a lot more these days. I don't know if that's a freed Britney thing.
Starting point is 00:38:07 She's like, I'm going to start posing my Instagram story. But everybody's been asked about, asked about Britney. You know, the House of Gucci premieres or tons of them this weekend. And Sam, you know, her boyfriend's on the red carpet. He's being asked about her, obviously. Lady Gaga's on the red carpet. she's been asked about Brittany Christina Aguilera
Starting point is 00:38:29 was on the carpet and was asked about Brittany and it was you can watch the video but it is kind of like not that she brushes it off but like she kind of has someone like tap her shoulder like okay it's like let's go and she just kind of throws out like I'm happy for her
Starting point is 00:38:48 like you know it's and that's all it is and so Brittany on her story shared that clip and wrote, I love and adore everyone who supported me, but refusing to speak when you know the truth is equivalent to a lie. 13 years being in a corrupt abusive system, yet why is it such a hard topic for people to talk about? I'm the one who went through it. All the supporters who spoke up and supported me, thank you.
Starting point is 00:39:12 Yes, I do matter. And then she also posted like, thank you, Lady Gaga, like whatever, because Lady Gaga was very expressive and was very, like, spoke about it for a while about Brittany. So I don't know. It felt a little petty, Brittany. I am torn on this one because Christina did post for Brittany when everything was happening. She posted all those tweets. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:41 She posted all those tweets. She posted old photos of them. And here's the thing. I think some people are more outspoken than others. And I think at this point, Britney Spears is very frustrated. she's finally free and she's like, I'm going to fucking go off on anybody who pisses me off, which she's got a lot of pent up tension built in her.
Starting point is 00:40:03 So I don't blame her for that. But I also, like I said, people are more vocal than others. Lady Gaga is more vocal than Christina Aguilera, clearly. Christina maybe didn't feel comfortable speaking about it at that moment or her people were like, hey, come on, let's get out of here. And here's the thing. you can't blame somebody for not being comfortable for speaking up. That could just be their personality.
Starting point is 00:40:27 But I can also see somebody getting frustrated and being like, why wouldn't you speak up for me? There's both sides to it. It did feel a little petty on Britney's part because Christina had shown support for her on Twitter earlier in the year. So I just see both sides of this. It's like a personality thing, in my opinion. I don't think Christina Aguilera wasn't speaking up for Brittany because she doesn't believe
Starting point is 00:40:56 Brittany or doesn't agree with her being freed or anything of that. I just think some people feel more comfortable speaking in that situation than others, like Lady Gaga. Yeah. And I also, like, I wonder if Brittany even knew about those tweets that, um, Christine had posted, uh, whatever that was, you know, a few months back in support of her and to, you know, look into the system and to, you know, look into the system and to, see what was going wrong. But the, um, I, and I guess, I don't know, maybe it's also like when
Starting point is 00:41:27 you're in a situation and you're looking at all these people who are speaking about you, like, you see Lady Gaga and you're like, yeah, like she really, you know, she, she, she gave the interview and she talked about me and she like supported me. And then you see someone else and you're, you're not like comparing it to the outside. You're comparing it to Lady Gaga. So lady Gaga did this. And Pristine Aguilar didn't do that. And I'm sure she also has different feelings towards Christine Aguilar. They've known each other for a much longer time. Like she said, I've been in this for 13 years. You've known me before that. So there could be, I know each other since they were babies. And that's where I do understand where Brittany's coming from. I was like,
Starting point is 00:42:06 you've known me since forever. Like it's not like a new frustration on like the people that she has known for so long that really only kind of spoke up towards the end of all of this. Right. She's like, this was going on for 13 years and you said nothing until like, until it was cool to say something. Yeah, that's true. And so I do understand Britney's frustration. And I think that everyone has to understand that she's going to have so much tension and she's going to be petty now because she was silenced for so long. And you really can't blame her for that. It's like you just have to kind of understand and accept that this person was basically totally totally.
Starting point is 00:42:48 she couldn't do anything for how many years of her life. Now she's pissed off and she's going to let everyone know. Yeah. And I think from watching the video, it kind of seemed like Christina's person, manager, whoever it was that was with her, was kind of like trying to get her to fit, wrap up and finish.
Starting point is 00:43:05 So like the timing looks like, you know, they ask them for any question. And they're like, ah, you got to get out of here. It's like, do they want her talking about it? They not want her talking about it. But yeah, at the end of the day,
Starting point is 00:43:17 you're so right. Maria, she just like, Brittany is apparently like, pissed at her mom, refuses to talk to her mom right now. Like, as she should. Right. Right. Why she wouldn't be pissed off. And I also like, I just, I'm going to put it out there. I don't want to talk about it for too long.
Starting point is 00:43:35 I just hope that this Sam fellow is the right guy for her too, because, you know, now he's, he's acting and he's getting more jobs. I think because of Brittany and, um, It's walking red carpets and being asked about Brittany and he's getting all these opportunities. And there was, I did see one clip of an interview when he was on the carpet where like he did acknowledge like, you know, I probably, I wouldn't be here without Brittany, you know. So it is nice that that is there. But I just hope, you know, she's not getting taken advantage of it in any way. I agree.
Starting point is 00:44:12 I think that that is a scary thought. But if Brittany trusts him at this point. It's now up to her to make her own decisions. And I think that was the whole point of all this. And if he fucks her over, it's extremely fucked up and another learning lesson for her. But I agree with you. It makes any guy in her life is going to make everyone nervous.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Because any person in her life, really, because she's clearly very, I'm not saying she herself is easy to take advantage of. Like I don't think Britney Spears is like, yeah, take advantage of me. It's like she's one of the most. famous people in the entire world and people want to take advantage of her. Right. And I think also just from watching all the documentaries and whatnot,
Starting point is 00:44:56 it's these guys that were like in and out of her life during the time that the current servatorship happened and all those things. It's you're made to like question why she put so much trust into some of these guys who didn't really have her back maybe as much as they could have or should of or they were taking advantage of her. So you're kind of like, hmm, this is just track, record wise. It hasn't been great, so you just kind of, you just got
Starting point is 00:45:23 hope, but yeah, I think it's, she is definitely sharing more. It's funny though, because sometimes she's like, I'm not, like, I'm not going to post on social media as much than something now. She's like on her Instagram stories being like, Christina, I see you. I'm like, okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:45:39 Okay, Brittany, you do whatever you want to do. All right, ladies and gentlemen, we are back for another game of Beat Ria and Fran. This time we are joined by two lovers. special guest Jill and Judena. Did you fuck that up? Judana.
Starting point is 00:46:03 Judana. We are joined by two lovely special guests, Jill and Judena. There we go. They're both from Long Island. Shout out Long Island. I love Long Island. One's basically your neighbor. One we, yeah, we hang out all the time. Not actually, but we're going to start. Jill is literally your neighbor. She lives around the block from me, apparently, and I love that. Welcome to the show, ladies. This is game 25 of Beat Rian and Fran. And we're excited. We're very excited. Now, how do you two know each other?
Starting point is 00:46:30 We actually met in college, yes. What college? Good old sacred heart. Sacred Heart in Connecticut. Yep. Classic Long Island College. That is a great Long Island College. That is very funny.
Starting point is 00:46:44 Yeah, of course, I feel like that is a classic. And New Jersey, there's a lot of people from New Jersey together. Yeah, yeah. Okay, here are the rules. There are 15 questions. Whoever is the most points at the end. And wins, if you get a question wrong, the other team has the opportunity to steal. And to decide who goes first, Noah will give us a movie.
Starting point is 00:47:05 We guess the Rotten Tomato Score will go back and forth, alternate guesses. And whoever is the closest will get to go first. And that's it, simple as that. So, Noah, what is today's movie? Today's movie is the day after tomorrow. Great movie. Did you do that for Jake Dillanall? I did.
Starting point is 00:47:24 Oh, my God. It's a great movie, though. I do actually love that movie. It's a great rewatchable movie. It is. You've never seen it? It's a preposterous. Oh, what's the girl who's in it?
Starting point is 00:47:35 Emmy Rossum. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, she's. And, uh, and, uh, what's his name? Dennis Quaid. Yeah, Dennis Quaid. I've never watched. The world ending. Never seen the day.
Starting point is 00:47:43 It's such a good movie. All right, let's guess. He walks from like New York. In the snow. He walks from like D.C. to New York in the snowed. It's, it's ridiculous. It makes no sense, but it's great. Under snow.
Starting point is 00:47:52 Yeah, yeah. Sorry, guys. I haven't seen it. Okay. Or anyways. Maybe you should. We're going to keep talking about it like she knows we're talking about. Okay.
Starting point is 00:47:58 Ladies, you will get the first guest and then we'll go and then back to you. So go ahead. All right. Jill, do you want to go first? All right. You already told me I'm going first. I'm going to go with the guess. I will, I never seen it either.
Starting point is 00:48:12 So I'm just going to pick a random number. I'm going to go with 48. Do I go next? 56. 76. Now you go. I'll do. 77.
Starting point is 00:48:32 I'm going to go low. I think it is a good movie, but I feel like the critics wouldn't like it. I'm going to go 33. 45. Oh, Jill, very close. My goodness. Wow.
Starting point is 00:48:45 45. All right. I welcome you. First. Question number one. Shout out Abby from Levinworth. Leavenworth.
Starting point is 00:48:59 Beats me. me. All right. What, what, did she get a state? Kansas. Okay, sure. Okay. How many times does Harry Stiles say fine line in his song, Fine Line?
Starting point is 00:49:11 A, 10, B, 14, C-20, D-27. Hmm. You just went to the concert, Joe. I was at a concert, but I didn't count how many times. Yeah. Can you repeat them one more time, Noah? A, 10, B 14, C20, D 27. Um, I feel like more than 10, yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:42 I feel like maybe B. Okay. I try to rock with it. All right. We're going to go B 14. Incorrect. Uh, good try. I'm torn between 20 and 27 because he says fine line a billion times.
Starting point is 00:49:57 I know. 27 feels like a lot. It feels like a lot. I think. or is it a lot? Because he says it a lot. Let's go 27. Incorrect.
Starting point is 00:50:13 20. Damn it. Yep. He says it so many times. At the end he says it like just over and over. I think that's the 20 times she says it. Yeah. I think he says it 12 times at the end straight or something.
Starting point is 00:50:25 Okay. Still zero zero. This is to Rian Fran. Shout out Rose from Michigan. What is Hillary Duff's aim name in a Cinderella story? I watch a Cinderella story Literally two nights ago Princeton Girl
Starting point is 00:50:39 Right Princeton Girl 88 or something like that Or is he Princeton Boy No he's no she's Oh my God I swear to God I just watched this the other night Why? Let me think let me think
Starting point is 00:50:49 15 seconds You know he's nomad He's nomad I think it's Princeton Girl 88 I'm gonna guess Five seconds You think 88? I don't know why I'm saying
Starting point is 00:51:03 Time Princeton Girl 88 incorrect. Ah, but I'm close, aren't I? You're close, I don't think it's a game. I swear to God I watched it the other night. I'm so upset right now. It's Jillian and Judy.
Starting point is 00:51:16 It's definitely Princeton Girl. I know that because I know he's a nomad, but I don't know what number it could possibly be. I don't know. Judy take a guess. Like I want to say like 75 maybe. That's definitely wrong, but. I'm going to go with that?
Starting point is 00:51:33 Sure. Final answer, Princeton Girl, 75. Not right. Incorrect. You're going to be fixed. It's just Princeton Girl. No, no. It's Princeton Girl 8-1-8.
Starting point is 00:51:42 Oh. I was so close. Wow, so close. That's the 8. I watched it. And let me tell you. Like, I watched it fully. Like I paid attention.
Starting point is 00:51:53 I watched it from start to finish Monday night. Rose, who submitted this question, did right. Like, you could accept Princeton, just Princeton girl if you want. But, like, we have to have the correct answer here. Well, I mean, you may. that very clear when you took the number in the first place. That's what I'm saying. That's not her name.
Starting point is 00:52:12 That just absolutely crushed the number. Okay. Okay. I feel good about having it like very close though. Very close. But not good. Getting it wrong. All right.
Starting point is 00:52:21 Still zero zero. Question number three to Judy and Jillian. I can't believe I watched it literally two nights ago. Shout out Bridget from Boston. In season one, of One Tree Hill Nathan gave Haley a present. What is the present?
Starting point is 00:52:42 What snack is it from? And what does he say when he gives it to her? Judy, this is all you. You said you were taking the One Tree Hill questions. It's a beaded bracelet. I'm pretty sure it's from like a cereal box, but I don't remember what he says to her.
Starting point is 00:52:56 And they're sitting on that bench outside. I don't even remember what he says to her. Like maybe like one and only or something like that. I guess final answer is the beaded bracelet from a cereal box. I don't know what he says. It's a bracelet from a cracker jackbox, and he says, don't say I never gave you anything. Correct. Wow.
Starting point is 00:53:21 Fran, you just blew me out of the law. Don't say I never gave you anything. What a classic line. Yeah. That's a good line. It's a good line. One nothing. Rian Fran.
Starting point is 00:53:30 This question is to Rian Fran. Shout out Alexis from Westchester, New York. Shout out Westchester. Yeah. Just shout out Westchester. are in general. Yep. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:39 All right. What four men had hometown dates on Caitlin Bristow's season of the Bachelorette? Nick Bonn. Nick and Sean. Sean. I didn't, I watched, but I just can't recall. Ben? Ben?
Starting point is 00:53:55 Yes. Ben, Nick, Sean. There's one more. It was on her season, but I don't think. Should we just, like, guess a generic bachelor name? Chris. Five minutes. Time's up.
Starting point is 00:54:16 Time's up. Robbie, Ben, Nick, Sean. Incorrect. Also, like, full names, please. Full names. What do you mean full? I mean, you know their last names. The ones you knew.
Starting point is 00:54:29 I don't know Sean's last name. Yeah, you do. No, I don't. Starts with a B. Booth. Yeah. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:54:34 So, Gillian. I know Sean Booth. I know Nick Bile. Ben, I guess it's Higgins, right? And then I don't know the fourth one. The last one, I don't know. I don't know. The last one, I only know, it was very.
Starting point is 00:54:49 And I could guess a generic name, but I don't know the last name. either. Just take a guess. I have no idea. You're killing us, Noah. These are hard questions. I like these questions. Sorry, guys. I have no idea. I think they're fun. All right. Five seconds. Nothing. We only know the three. Tell us the last one. All right. The last one is Jared. How did he say? Jared. Was it in her top four? Yeah. Shit. I wouldn't know. Yeah, I didn't. Yeah. I didn't remember that.
Starting point is 00:55:16 Yeah. We know him, but we wouldn't have said him. I, no, I, I honestly forgot he was on Caitlin Cises. Yeah, it's been so long ago. Yeah. All right. Still, one nothing reinfran. This question is to Gillian and Judy. Shout out to Stephanie for this one. Which of the following is not one of Britney Spears' number one singles?
Starting point is 00:55:37 Baby one more time. Oops, I did it again. Womanizer. Hold it against me. If I had to guess between the floor, I'd say hold it against me. Only against me. That's what I was thinking. I feel like the other ones are pretty popular.
Starting point is 00:55:53 Yeah. Not that it wasn't popular. What'd you say? Not that that wasn't popular, but... Yeah, I feel like that one. Let's lock that one. Okay. Finally, I'm here.
Starting point is 00:56:03 Hold it against me. Incorrect. I think it's himy baby one more time. Yeah. I don't even... What is Holden against me? That's like, hold it. I don't know, but I know that...
Starting point is 00:56:12 I know that womanizer and holding against me. And I feel like it's Himmie Baby one more time. Because Hymie Baby one more time came out before. Oops, I did it again, right? That I do not know. I would go with Hymie Baby one. I'm going to do Hymie Baby one more. incorrect.
Starting point is 00:56:30 Fuck. The correct answer is oops I did it again. No! Redney Spears had four number one singles. Baby one more time. Womanizer. Three hold it against me. Shit.
Starting point is 00:56:43 Fuck. Damn it. One nothing. Still, we're going to Fran. This question is to them. Shout out Abby from Chicago. Now St. Louis. Chicago.
Starting point is 00:56:55 Chicago. I hope you had a good move. Yeah. I love victorious. What was the club slash bar that everyone went to in the OC cult? I only watched the OC. I haven't watched OC in years. 15 seconds.
Starting point is 00:57:21 Peach bit. No, fuck. I don't know this. I don't know. Time. I just feel like they didn't say it that often. All right. I know Olivia Wild worked there.
Starting point is 00:57:37 I don't have it. All right. To Judy and Jenny. I've never seen it. have you? Can you repeat the question again? What was the club slash bar that everyone went to in the OC cult?
Starting point is 00:57:50 Oh, I have no idea. I didn't watch it. I probably should, but I never watched it. All right. No idea. No. The correct answer is the bait shop. Oh, I would not have,
Starting point is 00:58:02 I wouldn't have gotten that. The bait shop? All right. Question number seven to Rian Fran. I hope Ray is not cheating. No, I'm not. Sorry. I was making sure my lunch order was incorrectly. Okay. Question number seven.
Starting point is 00:58:16 Also, I wouldn't have been cheating. I know the question was already. I'm just calling you that. This question is to Gillian and Judy. What is Tim Rick? Shout out Bailey for this. What is Tim Ringens's jersey number on Friday nightlights? No idea. I don't know. Should we just guess around the number? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:58:42 I feel like 70-something, but that's probably wrong. It was like 75. Why not? All right, 75. Incorrect. Good guess. Why am I picturing a four or a six? Oh, shit. What are you picturing?
Starting point is 00:58:58 A three. Oh, I thought it was maybe 33? 36, 43. 15. Now I'm just seeing a three. I know. I think there's definitely a three. I kind of feel like it's 33.
Starting point is 00:59:18 Five seconds. Okay. just say 30. 33. Correct. Yes. What? Oh, nice.
Starting point is 00:59:25 Nice, friend. You son of a bitch. What? The way that he said that? Is your camera on? Yeah. I want the reaction of that because the way he looked at us, he went, correct.
Starting point is 00:59:34 Yeah. I was like, oh my God. Fake out. Whoa. All right. 2-0 now, we and friend, this question is to them. I thought that was going to be easy, by the way. I thought that was like, oh, everyone knows 10 brigands.
Starting point is 00:59:46 Yeah. Okay. I'm bad with Jersey numbers. Courtney from Iowa. Oh, this is a Harry Potter question. Oh, boy. And Harry Potter and the prisoner of Ascaband, how many hours do Hermione and Harry go back in time
Starting point is 00:59:59 when using the time turner to save Sirius Black and Buckbeak? How many hours? How many hours do they go back? I don't know. 15 seconds. Six? Six. Final answer.
Starting point is 01:00:26 Yeah. I don't know. I literally said to Jill, I really hope there's no Harry Potter. I just don't see any of them. Should you guess the random number? I guess. Like five, maybe?
Starting point is 01:00:41 I want to say like 12. I don't know. Fran said six and she knows Harry Potter. Should we go like up or down from her? Maybe let's say eight then. Eight? It's my lucky number. We can try it.
Starting point is 01:00:54 Eight, final answer. The correct answer is three. And I looked it up. I think they say like three turns we'll do or something. Yeah, yeah. All right. Got her on. We can stop Harry Potter questions now.
Starting point is 01:01:06 That's all. I'm choking. Rude. Okay. Question number nine. It's still 2-0-0-0-0-4-4-4. And this question is to Jillian and Judy. Shout out Lauren with a Y from Columbus, Ohio.
Starting point is 01:01:22 Why did L. Woods call someone seriously disturbed and legally blonde? Seriously disturbed. I can hear it in her voice, like saying you're seriously disturbed, but I don't remember why. Jill. Was it the way they dressed maybe? No. 10 seconds. You won't guess that?
Starting point is 01:01:55 Maybe the way they dressed, final answer. Incor. Was it something like whoever said something is the new pink was seriously disturbed? Yeah, I was on the same. Like somebody who said orange is the new pink is seriously disturbed? Okay, I thought the same thing. So let's say that. So then I, yeah, that was the exact same thing that I thought.
Starting point is 01:02:12 So final answer is. Somebody who said orange is the new pink was seriously disturbed. Correct. I'm glad you said that because that's exactly what I thought. We thought the same thing that's usually right. All right, 3-0. 3-0. This question is to re-and-fran.
Starting point is 01:02:28 I'm going to play a clip from a movie and you tell me what movie it's wrong. 13 going on 30. I knew that last part was probably going to give it away. No, it was her voice. I know it from the beginning. It's the girl's voice for sure. Okay, 4-0. She's like, why are you talking to me?
Starting point is 01:02:55 Jennifer Gardner has a very distinct voice also. No, but the girl she's talking to you also is a very distinct voice. All right, 4-0-0-0-0-0-0. Fran question number 11 to Jillian and Judy. Still trying to get one right. You guys got this. Shout out Andrea from Michigan.
Starting point is 01:03:15 Which Hannah Montana song is the only one to reach the Billboard top 10 chart? A, he could be the one. B, best of both worlds. C, you'll always find your way back home. D, nobody's perfect. Billboard top what? Which one is the only one to reach the billboard top ten? Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:38 Can you repeat them one more time? A, he could be the one. B, best of both worlds. C, you'll always find your way back home. D, nobody's perfect. I don't think it's C. Ten seconds. I feel like it could be B, but...
Starting point is 01:03:57 I feel like maybe B. Yeah. Time for. Okay, okay. Finalizing. Intro. B was best of both worlds? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:06 What was the first one? He could be the one. He could be the one was so popular, but not enough to get on the top. I think you'll always find your way back home. Because he was in the movie. It's between that or nobody's perfect. But I would go, but I feel like maybe you'll always find your way back home. Because nobody's perfect was so around the show.
Starting point is 01:04:25 But the movie soundtrack was popular because it was in theaters. Let's do you always find your way back home. Incorrect. No! Correct answer is he could be the one. Oh! No! I thought that
Starting point is 01:04:37 because the episode was so big. I'm sorry, I'm so mad right now. No, no, I really didn't think it would have been that one. Yeah. Great song. I don't know it. He could be the one. The episode was so big because it was like,
Starting point is 01:04:49 is she going to choose Jake or the other guy. I bought that episode on iTunes. Fuck. The Key could be the one part one and part two. Buying episodes on iTunes were good old days. All right. Question number 12.
Starting point is 01:05:02 It's still for nothing. Rian Fran. And this question is to Rian Fran. Yeah. Yeah. Rianfrann. Okay.
Starting point is 01:05:12 Shout to Olivia from Buffalo, New York. In Gilmorrow Girls, what does the sign say behind the counter in Luke's diner? Lost me. Never watch Gilmore Girls. What does the sign say? I think they say.
Starting point is 01:05:44 Hot coffee. Incorrect. Hot. I'm just thinking, hot coffee. Hot coffee, exclamation point. I've never seen Damn, I'm the only one
Starting point is 01:05:56 I have to say that I did not ask for Gilmore Grotto questions I have asked about the questions I'm trying to include more shows Because the listeners, I'm sure know it, yeah Okay, so you guys pass or? No idea, we're getting killed today Okay, the correct answer is no cell phones
Starting point is 01:06:16 Oh, yeah You know, I knew it was like two words I went with hot coffee no cell phones yeah okay question number 13 and this is two
Starting point is 01:06:29 Jillian and Judy come on Judy we gotta get one shout on Nicole from Boston name this year Taylor Swift released 1989 Chris Hemsworth is named
Starting point is 01:06:40 the sexiest man alive and the famous Oscar selfie is taken Jill's a Swifty I am a Swifty 1989 shoot when is it I was when I was in high school.
Starting point is 01:06:58 Was, um, all too. No, all too. No, all too. Reds, Judy. Oh, no deal. I'm not too. Damn it, Judy. And you're saying it's your favorite.
Starting point is 01:07:07 I'm going to guess. I think it was there's 2014. What is that? What was that? 2014. Correct. Congrats. You got it.
Starting point is 01:07:19 You got it. We knew it. So I was like, oh. I know my Swifty. Yeah. I don't. 1989 is the only album I know what year came out. It's one of my favorite albums of all time,
Starting point is 01:07:28 even though I'm not a big tail show. I remember that freshman year. I can't believe you asked if Fred was on 1989. I mean, if you asked them, All Too Well was on 1890. I don't know anything about it. It's like you haven't paid attention all weekend. He's coming to it.
Starting point is 01:07:42 He's actually been listening to All Too Well, the only song. The album is from. It makes me. All right. Question number 14 to Marie and Fran. Shout out Lindsay from Maryland. Why did Derek Shepard's sister Liz come to Seattle in Grace and Abby?
Starting point is 01:08:01 Which one's fucking Liz? So many people. So many people come to see Derek Shepard. I never got that far. You couldn't give us like a season. Anything here? Let's take a little guess. There's a bejillion she came because Meredith.
Starting point is 01:08:27 Because he was getting divorced. Five seconds. No, but I would have. seen that. That didn't happen. Because of Addison, I don't know. Incorrect. Nothing? Have you guys seen Grace Anatomy?
Starting point is 01:08:41 No. Damn, you guys don't watch any TV. We only watch reality TV. Bachelor and Dead. I just have learned here. I really have no idea. Did someone die maybe? That's kind of a common theme on that show.
Starting point is 01:08:57 What did you say, Jay? Like, did someone die? That's probably. That's like a common theme on that show by. Sure, let's go with that. Right, someone died. Don't know who. Incorrect.
Starting point is 01:09:09 To try and donate a nerve for Derek's hand. Sure. You know what you recall? I recall now that you said it, but I couldn't tell you when that happened or... Well, you didn't have to tell me when. No, no, I know. But I needed, like, I needed to... For me to come up with the answer, I needed to come up with the timeline, and that's what I couldn't do.
Starting point is 01:09:29 Okay. Final question. for pride to Julian Judy. Shout out Jan from Delco, Pennsylvania. Another Harry Potter question, unfortunately, for you guys. In quidditch, how many points is it when you catch the golden snitch? Should I get a random number, Jill? Or like, what?
Starting point is 01:09:59 Do you like, 20? Okay. Quite a lot of points. Incorrect. The golden one. points. Correct. Oh my god, that is quite a lot of points. Damn. I was laughing at 20. Yeah, I was like, whoa. Rie was like, whoa, way too many points. I would have guessed over there. It's like six.
Starting point is 01:10:26 All right. Final score, five one. Gotta say tough round. Only six points scored out of the 15. I liked all of the questions. I thought they were very respectable. Shout out everyone submitted questions. That's my homework. Yeah. Yeah. Gray's Anatomy, Gilmar Girls, O.C. One Tree Hill. I'm so mad at us. How many Harry Potter questions were in there? There were two. Okay.
Starting point is 01:10:48 In there. All right. What were we going to say? You thought there might be too many here. No, no. I like that, but like, that's, you know. Well, I opened it up to lunchy Hill, Gilmore Girls, O.C. I liked.
Starting point is 01:10:59 Yeah, I liked that. He tried. This was like a big TV. We went, we went multiple months with the sweet love for Zach and Cody question in every game. I genuinely, you know what's weird, though? As I was watching a Cinderella story the other night, I said to myself, pay close attention because one day, this is going to be a trivia question. And I fucked myself.
Starting point is 01:11:16 I was so close. That one's going to kill me. That one's going to kill me so hard. I feel like you picture the whole thing in your head except for the... I genuinely, like, it's just crazy to me that I watch, like, why did I watch a Cinderella story Monday night? No idea. Just saw it was like, I'm going to watch this whole movie and put my phone down and paid attention to the whole thing. Damn.
Starting point is 01:11:32 All right. Anyways, thank you guys for joining us. You guys are great. Shout out Long Island. Yeah. Shout out on Long Island. Starting point is 01:13:19 The world's most refreshing podcast. Yes. All right, everyone, we are here with two very special guests. We have Nikki and Bree Bella, aka the Bella twins, here with us today. It's been quite some times because you guys have been on the show. Yes. Last time we were in another studio and things have changed for you guys. a bit dramatically, I would say.
Starting point is 01:13:41 A lot of changed. It's crazy because last time when we were here talking to you two, we were pregnant, both of us, and we didn't even know it. But we did fill off that New York trip. Very off. We just thought we were like Jetlaug coming from the West Coast. What is this? I do.
Starting point is 01:13:55 Yes, you know what? Now it's like all coming back to me now where I remember like the announcements of engagement or pregnant. And soon after when we were like, holy shit, they were pregnant when they were sitting here. It's one of those things we thought about it. They were carrying a baby in this office. We were thinking about it.
Starting point is 01:14:15 But crazy, we are so excited to have you guys back. Fill us in what's going on. I mean, I can't imagine the pandemic-wise, were you guys able to see each other? Or was that the longest you've gone without seeing each other? The most we've ever been together. Or you live together. Yes. I actually have to say, we were so blessed to find out we were pregnant before the pandemic
Starting point is 01:14:37 happened because going into lockdown, we had each other to deal with like no drinking. All we saw was everyone on TikTok doing dances and everyone drinking. And here we were super pregnant. But it just meant we carved it up. But it was nice because we live next door to each other. Okay. So we created this like bubble. And Arden was with us and my daughter, but my husband was traveling. So we didn't actually get to see him that much. She was still wrestling. But we were together every day. And what we decided to do to make the pandemic just feel a little lighter. and like a little happier in a way was like if she cooked breakfast
Starting point is 01:15:12 then I would do dinner but we'd almost like dress up and feel like we were going out right. We were down to nabby. Yeah. That's what we did the pandemic. Down to nabi. It was fun. In a weird way it was probably comforting
Starting point is 01:15:23 because I know like when people talk about the pandemic it's always like supposed to be bad and sad and like bad things happening. But I feel like there are some positives that came out of it for some people. And I think being pregnant during that time was probably really comforting because you didn't have to run around worrying about, you know, work, this, traveling here, there, the other thing. It's like, also scary. But I'm sure at the same time, kind of a blessing of disguise in some way.
Starting point is 01:15:49 Oh, my gosh, totally. Because we did travel the world nonstop for at that point. It was like almost 15 years. And so it forces to just, you know, sit back and relax. And then, you know, Bree and I also being entrepreneurs, it really made us think like, okay, well, she was, she's already a mom. I'm about to be a mom. the world has stopped what's truly important to us like we're enjoying this slow time we now know we like it so what did we want in our life where do we want to put our hustle right like instead of doing the hustle 24-7 like how can we like cut this up and like enjoy i mean i think that's the thing is we all really took in nature for nature right enjoyed the stillness the stillness made us all think and we packed up our bags and moved to napa valley and that's what we heard we heard the grapes in the wind yeah yeah that's where we're going how are you
Starting point is 01:16:37 guys enjoying that? I mean. Both of you guys at the same time. We're like, oh. But it was the same head. It was also the same head tilt. Yes. We are in heaven.
Starting point is 01:16:47 Like, you know when your soul just knows it's right. Like since we've been there, it's like, it's just pure joy inside. Like we just, no matter what happens, we're like, we're living in our favorite city, well, town of all time. Like, it's been the best move ever. So how did that work with Artem just doing dancing with the stars now, right? Like, were you guys able to see? each other or what like and I'm sure they are very strict on the show when it comes to you know
Starting point is 01:17:12 COVID rules and things because you know there were like breakthrough cases so I'm sure even you know they were a lot this season yeah yeah um very strict you know it was hard on us because like we both agreed like no matter what Mateo's home is Napa so like we have to sacrifice and what we do with work as far as seeing him like he needs to stay in up as much as possible so if Ardom doesn't seem a lot That's like what you do taking that job there and vice versa. But we also do say that there's ever a long job for Mama. Teo needs to go because he needs to be with Mama. So we went, we saw him, I think, only twice.
Starting point is 01:17:46 Yeah. And it's just, Tate was having a really hard time in L.A. And Ardham was always rehearsing and never here. So I was like, what are we doing? Like, you know, we can't really go outside. And it's just not a lot of fun here. So I think during the whole season, we saw maybe what, a total six times. six days total
Starting point is 01:18:05 I was gonna say yeah six days total yeah so you didn't even really get to like meet Malora or kind of really see what was going on yeah I met her once because I went to the show on a Monday night God what dance Halloween night
Starting point is 01:18:18 no Disney night no it was when they did the Paso right no it wasn't when they did the Paso anyways I was there one of those things Greece nights Greece no it wasn't but it was before I'm just going to name every guy it was before Janet night what was that
Starting point is 01:18:33 Oh, queen. Queen. I was like Queenette. Okay, Queenette. Okay, so Queenette, which was such a fun. Yeah. Yeah. It was a great night.
Starting point is 01:18:39 So I got to meet her briefly and she's amazing. Oh, she seems so lovely. So awesome. So you guys were in L.A. before, obviously. What is your thoughts on L.A.? We always ask people who live there for a while or like have grown up there or whatever. And everyone has a different take on it. Some people will be like, we're obsessed with it.
Starting point is 01:18:59 We just have Lucy Hale in here and she's like, that's my place. Yes. Yeah. The look on your guys's face. was like, it's not our place. Not at all. L.A. for me was like, okay, it served its purpose when I was younger. I had fun, and I lived in Los Angeles before social media exists. So it was really fun to go out. It was filled with celebrities, and the crazy one was
Starting point is 01:19:19 Paris Hilton. Like, that was a reality show kind of going around. But everything was very secretive and fun, but at the same time, I'm like, this place is not, it's not where you're going to be serious in life, at least to me, unless you're aspiring actress or, you know, know in that business. But I got over it quick. I got over the phoniness. I felt like it's a lot of fake friendships, fake people. Yeah. I know. But I think there's also a side to it that's a very real. We were born in San Diego and we lived there and all our best friends come from there. And if I, I think what happened is I went San Diego to L.A. And even though they're two hours apart, driving dramatically different. So L.A., I got out of there and I'm never going back.
Starting point is 01:20:00 I think that's what scares me the most about L.A. is not knowing people's most. Because you get there and people seem so friendly. Like they have like this happy face on. Everyone's so beautiful. They're like very inviting. And then you realize like there's something else underneath there is why they want to be friends with you. Right. And then the minute you don't give them what they need, you're out.
Starting point is 01:20:19 Right. But I think like people like Lucie or when I think of Artem because he misses L.A. so much, I think when you do shows there. So dancing with the stars or television show, you kind of build your own community. Now I get that. And you trust people. And I think those are the people that love L.A. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:33 Yeah. If you find the right people. Right. When you find your group. But other than that, it can be hard. Where does the, because I'm an Eagles fan. And I know, like, where does the Eagles fandom come from? So our grandfather, full-blooded Italian from South Philly.
Starting point is 01:20:47 Love it. There we go. There we go. No. Colacci. Clos. Yeah. Amazing.
Starting point is 01:20:54 But he. I couldn't remember if I asked you guys that last time. Yeah. I don't think you didn't. Yeah. But so he raised us as like die-hard eagle fans. And like, I remember I wanted to be a rebel one. time so I went for the Cowboys like for season and like literally I thought I was going to be kicked
Starting point is 01:21:07 out of the family. That is that's a sure sign of teenage rebellion right there to be like you know what screw my parents I'm just going to put on a cowboy's journey my dad would have kicked me out of ass. That's when I like for a brief moment like a couple months of my life decided I was going to root for the Rangers instead of the Islanders just because forever I was an Islanders fan and I was like fuck my parents I'm a right I quickly went back I was like oh yeah I mean all the karma is going to hit me yeah like He's like, how can I be in an asshole to my mom? Right. I'm going to be like, oh, mom, can you believe this?
Starting point is 01:21:36 She's like, oh, yeah. That is great. So you guys are back in the podcast game. Very exciting. What brought you guys back to it? So, you know, I guess we both really needed some time off. I think, honestly, from the pandemic, we filmed total bella's, being super pregnant. And then just the chaos of everything, we felt like we needed a moment, take a breather.
Starting point is 01:21:59 I went up to the mountains. I was in Lake Tahoe all summer. And where were you? Right? I was like, I don't really see you a lot. But we needed a breather. And also we were excited because we were going to Sirius XM and Stitcher. So it kind of gave us a little time to think about like how do we want to change the show?
Starting point is 01:22:18 What do we want to do? And I don't know. It was one of those refresh buttons. Yeah. What's the format for your podcast now? Like what do you guys like talking about the most on there? So for us, it's like we wanted to be more conversational. especially with our guests. We were doing so many segments and we loved those segments, but we're like,
Starting point is 01:22:37 people wanted more from us. They're like, we don't want that to end. So we're bringing just more conversation, but also just trying to dig deeper into people. It was like, not that things were very surface, but we're like, let's just get deeper into their souls. Let's just bring it out. And then we also do play fun games. I mean, we couldn't get rid of Bella Brains. We had to keep Bella brains with Bree's husband. And as well as now we just, I feel like our games are a little more edgier. and a little more pop culture mainstream. That's always fun. You like pop culture.
Starting point is 01:23:08 We do. We do. We don't talk. I feel like we don't talk a lot. Like, Bree and I, so we feel bad like going in on people. We get, because we feel like you're on the other side. Yeah. So that's always been our thing.
Starting point is 01:23:22 So we like some people I don't. Yeah. For sure. Dang. Look at her drink. Say it. There's someone that you just can't resist because it's too juicy. You know.
Starting point is 01:23:31 Right. Totally. But so we just, we like it when it's very motivational and inspirational too. Because, you know, sometimes you meet these people. Like we had Val from Dancing with the Stars on last week. And it's just like we learned. I hear I've known the guy, but I like learned so much more about him. And I walked away being like, damn, that guy is amazing.
Starting point is 01:23:52 Right. Because when you ever, you know, you see him and you have conversation, but you're not on the set of dance with the stars being like, so tell me about your childhood. Yeah. Talk to me about it. Yeah, right. Yeah. I think that is really fun and like we've done other women podcast too.
Starting point is 01:24:07 We're like Hannah Burner and Victoria Garrick, right? It's like we know these people on a surface level. Yeah. And we're like friendly with them on Instagram. But then you go on the show and they ask you these questions about your life. And you feel really good that like this person's interested in it could probably help a lot of people like the conversations you guys have. Do you get a lot of people saying like, wow, this conversation really helped me think about whatever is going on in my life. Totally for sure.
Starting point is 01:24:30 Every week. always like that really hit me here and this is what I need to change and just like when Bree and I wrote our memoir it wasn't like here's our story listen to it it was like what are you going to take away from it when you're done with that last page and that's kind of like when you are done with the podcast what did you take away from this right make you a better person family wise now is anything off limits on the podcast do you get the well do you get the men in your life being like did you really need to tell that story I mean I actually always say that Arden the other day.
Starting point is 01:25:02 He told me, he's like, I just really don't like you talking about her sex life. And I'm like, but I'm saying good things. It doesn't matter. I'm like, wait, when did you talk about our sex life? Then I miss him. She's like, tell me more right now. I know.
Starting point is 01:25:15 It was bringing up we were talking because the podcast is back. Oh, we were talking about the book. Made it in captivity. Yes. And you guys need to add a little more to your sex life. Dang, I did not. Don't lie. Put words in my mouth.
Starting point is 01:25:28 I said, you know, that's where Arim's going to be upset. I was like, what do you mean? We're not doing enough. But so we were, but we are just talking about all this stuff and he just really doesn't want me to talk about her sex life. But then I'm like, well, what do I refer to you? You're the only one I'm screwing. Right, right?
Starting point is 01:25:44 People start talking about sex. I got to have some reference points. It's just you. And I'm like, you do know you fell in love with, right? I'm the girl that says too much. Can I ask a personal question now that you guys brought up sex life? What's it like when you're pregnant, obviously, and then you have a baby right after?
Starting point is 01:25:58 What is, how much change? with that. A lot changes. It's sex after, actually. It hurts so bad, which is weird. Not for me. It didn't? No.
Starting point is 01:26:09 Remember? Well, not like you were in there. It felt better. I was so horny. And then I remember asking my doctor, like, when can I have it? When can I have it? Now, she had a C-section. I didn't.
Starting point is 01:26:19 And I only needed one stitch. And my doctor even then was like, technically you don't need one stitch. But like, at five weeks, I, like, wanted sex. And I had so much sex in the beginning. And then it stopped. me. But it was weird because it was five to like when Mateo was five day weeks is when I wanted a lot of sense. Just all over. Right, right. But like didn't hurt. Right. But see, I didn't have a head come out of my vagina. Yeah. So I guess. Um, what are you trying to say on that? I guess it hurt
Starting point is 01:26:45 me. But I think too, I was recovering from a C-section. Yeah. So maybe that's different. She was trying to say there. I have a big vagina. That's like a wide case. If you can picture a baby head coming out of my sister's vagina, you can wonder why it didn't hurt. You can wonder why it didn't hurt and why we're like the Venus flytrap as we go right back. Oh, is that it? And that's it. This is like a question that I think about because I'm obviously not even close to, you know, getting married, getting pregnant, whatever. But is there a point in your brain where you feel a little guilty, like not being able to have sex?
Starting point is 01:27:21 Because obviously you're thinking about your partner and you're like, they want to. What do you do there? Oh, for sure. I will say. Get on your back. Yeah. Nicole and I've actually had school jobs. We're like, okay?
Starting point is 01:27:33 We always say yes. Like, we're always actually shocked that we never say no. And there's times where, so my husband wears clone only when he's going to have sex. I'm always like so much to have sex. That's like a lot. Yeah. So I'll hear it in the bathroom. And so when I hear it, I'm like, okay.
Starting point is 01:27:51 Getty up. He's going to want it. And even if I don't, I was super hungover. I'm like, wow, his hangover is lasting like two weeks. Yeah. And I found out he was pregnant. Oh, my God, shit. Let's talk about all of that because I got questions.
Starting point is 01:28:05 My sister, she's now, like, thinking about having a baby. And she's, isn't that crazy? Oh, my God, it's so weird. But she's just like, I don't know what to do. I can't, I don't know if I could stop all this stuff. And, like, her husband's mom is, like, really getting on her. Like, you need to cut all of this out. And she's like, it's making me, like, not want to.
Starting point is 01:28:25 But you know what your body ends up just doing it. And I think it's because, no, it's creating. that it almost makes you gag at some of it. Yeah. It's rare. Well, how old is she? She's 29. Oh.
Starting point is 01:28:35 So I get it when you get closer to her. Even though I'm like, wait until you're late 30s, but mid to late. But, ooh. But I will say in the end it is worth it. It's worth sacrificing it. And the things that we can have, then it's like you get to have them on these other things without, you know, excuses or have to, you know, to watch certain calories. Right.
Starting point is 01:28:57 So. We good to get started? Noah? All right. Okay. All right, everyone, we are here with two very special guests. We have Nikki and Bree Bella, aka the Bella Twins, here with us today. It's been quite some times because you guys have been on the show.
Starting point is 01:29:12 Last time we were in another studio and things have changed for you guys, a bit dramatically, I would say. A lot of changed. It's crazy because last time when we were here talking to you two, we were pregnant, both of us and we didn't even know it. But we did fill off that New York trip. We were like, very off. We just thought we're like jet lag coming from the West Coast. What is this? I do.
Starting point is 01:29:33 Yes. You know what? Now it's like all coming back to me now where I remember like the announcements of engagement or pregnant. Like it came and soon after when we were like, holy shit. They were pregnant when they were sitting here. That's one of those things we thought about it. They were carrying a baby in this office. We were thinking about it.
Starting point is 01:29:53 But crazy we are so excited to have you guys back. Fill us in what's going on. I mean, I can't. imagine the like pandemic wise were you guys able to see each other or like was that the longest you've gone without seeing each other? No. The most we've ever been together. Or you live together.
Starting point is 01:30:10 Yes. I actually have to say we were so blessed to find out we were pregnant before the pandemic happened because going into lockdown, we had each other to deal with like no drinking. All we saw was everyone on TikTok doing dances and everyone drinking and here we were super pregnant. But it just meant we carved it up. But it was nice because. is we live next door to each other.
Starting point is 01:30:31 Okay. So we created this like bubble. And, um, Arden was with us and my daughter, but my husband was traveling, so we didn't actually get to see him that much. She was still wrestling. But we were together every day and what we decided to do
Starting point is 01:30:43 to make the pandemic just feel a little lighter and like, a little happier in a way was like if she cooked breakfast, then I would do dinner. But we'd almost like dress up and feel like we were going out. We were down to nabby. Yes. That's what we did the pandemic. Downtown abbey.
Starting point is 01:30:58 It was fun. In a weird way, it was probably comforting. Because I know, like, when people talk about the pandemic, it's always, like, supposed to be bad and sad and, like, bad things happening. But I feel like there are some positives that came out of it for some people. And I think being pregnant during that time was probably really comforting because you didn't have to run around worrying about, you know, work, this, traveling here, there, the other thing. But also scary.
Starting point is 01:31:21 No, it's definitely, it's definitely scary. But, like, I'm sure at the same time, kind of a blessing of disguise in some way. Oh, my gosh. Totally. because we did travel the world nonstop for at that point it was like almost 15 years and so it forces to just, you know, sit back and relax. And then, you know, Bree and I also being entrepreneurs, it really made us think like, okay, well, she was, she's already a mom. I'm about to be a mom. The world has stopped. What's truly important to us? Like, we're enjoying this slow time. We now know we like it. So what do we want in our life? Where do we want to put our hustle? Right. Like instead of doing the hustle 24-7, like how can we like cut this up? and like enjoy. I mean, I think that's the thing is we all really took in nature.
Starting point is 01:32:02 Mother nature, right? Enjoyed the stillness. The stillness made us all think. And we packed up our bags and moved to Napa Valley. That's what the pandemic made us do. We heard the grapes and the wind hanging off the vines.
Starting point is 01:32:13 I was like, that's where we're going. How are you guys enjoying that? Oh, my gosh. Both of you guys at the same time. We were like, oh. But it was the same head. It was also the same head tilt. Yes.
Starting point is 01:32:23 We are in heaven. Like, you know, when your soul just knows it's right. Like, since we've, been there, it's like, it's just pure joy inside. Like, we just, no matter what happens, we're like, we're living in our favorite city, well, town of all time. Like, it's been the best move ever. So how did that work with Artem just doing dancing with the stars now, right? Like, were you guys able to see each other or what, like, and I'm sure they are very strict on the
Starting point is 01:32:49 show when it comes to, you know, COVID rules and things because, you know, there were like breakthrough cases. So I'm sure even, you know, they were super strict. A lot this season, right? Yeah. Yeah. very strict. You know, it was hard on us because, like, we both agreed, like, no matter what, Mateo's home is Napa. So, like, we have to sacrifice and what we do with work as far as seeing him. Like, he needs to stay in up as much as possible. So if Artem doesn't seem a lot, that's, like, what you do, taking that job there and vice versa. But we also do say that there's ever a long job for Mama. Teo needs to go because he needs to be with Mama. So we went, we saw him, I think, only twice. Yeah. And it's just, Mateo was having a really hard
Starting point is 01:33:28 time in L.A. And Artem was always rehearsing and never here. So I was like, what are we doing? Like, you know, we can't really go outside and it's just not a lot of fun here. So I think during the whole season, we saw maybe what, a total total total six times? Or six days total. I was going to say, yeah. Six days total. Yeah. So you didn't even really get to like meet Malora or kind of really see what was going on. Yeah, I met her once. Because I went to the show on a Monday night. God, what dance? Halloween night? No, Disney night. No. It was when they did the Paso, right? No, it wasn't when they did the PASO. One of those themes. Well, anyways, I was there one of those things. Greece nights.
Starting point is 01:34:05 No, it wasn't Greece. But it was before. I can name every night. It was, it was. Okay, it was. Queen. I was like Queen at night. Okay, so Queen. Which was such a fun. Yeah. Yeah. It was a great night. So I got to meet her briefly. And she's amazing. Oh, she seems so lovely. So awesome. So you guys were in L.A. before, obviously. What is your thoughts on? on LA. We always ask people who live there for a while or like have grown up there or whatever and everyone has a different take on it. Some people will be like, we're obsessed with it. We just have Lucy Hale in here and she's like, that's my place. Yeah. Really? Yeah. The look on your guys' faces was like, it's not our place. Not at all. L.A. for me was like, okay, it served its purpose when I was younger. I had fun and I lived in Los Angeles before social media exists. So it was really fun to go out. It was filled with celebrities and the crazy one was Paris Hill.
Starting point is 01:34:58 like that was a reality show kind of going around but everything was very secretive and fun but at the same time I'm like this place is not it's not where you're going to be serious in life at least to me unless you're aspiring actress or you know in that business but I got over it quick I got over the phoniness I felt like it's a lot of fake friendships fake people yeah I know but I think there's also a side do it that's very real we were born in San Diego and we lived there and all our best friends come from there. And if I, I think what happened is I went San Diego to L.A. And even though they're two hours apart, driving dramatically different. So L.A., I got out of there and I'm never going back. I think that's what scares me the most about L.A. is not knowing people's motives, right? Because
Starting point is 01:35:42 you get there and people seem so friendly. Like they have like this happy face on. Everyone's so beautiful. They're like very inviting. And then you realize like there's something else underneath there is why they want to be friends with you. Right. 100%. And then the minute you don't give them what they need, you're out. Right. But I think like people like Lucie are when I think of Artem because he misses L.A. so much, I think when you do shows there, so dancing with the stars or television show, you kind of build
Starting point is 01:36:07 your own community. And you trust people and I think those are the people that love L.A. Yeah. If you find the right people. Right. When you find your group, but other than that, it can be hard. Where does the, because I'm an Eagles fan and I know, where does the Eagles fandom come from? So our
Starting point is 01:36:23 grandfather, full-blooded Italian from South Philly. I love it. Is his last name DeAngelo. Colacci. Close. Yeah. Amazing. But he...
Starting point is 01:36:33 I couldn't remember if I asked you guys that last time. I don't think you didn't. Yeah. So he raised us as like diehard eagle fans. And like I remember I wanted to be a rebel one time. So I went for the Cowboys like first season. And like literally I thought I was going to be kicked out of the family. That is, that's a sure sign of teenage rebellion right there.
Starting point is 01:36:50 Right. To be like, you know what? Screw my parents. I'm just going to put on a cowboy shirt. My dad would have kicked me out of house. That's when I like. For a brief moment, like a couple months of my life decided I was going to root for the Rangers instead of the Islanders.
Starting point is 01:37:02 Just because forever, I was an Islander's fan. I was like, fuck my parents. I'm a Rangers fan. I quickly went back. I was like, all the karma is going to hit me. Like Bernie's like, how can I be in an asshole to my mom? I'm going to be like, oh, mom, can you believe this? She's like, oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:15 That is great. So you guys are back in the podcast game. Very exciting. What brought you guys back to it? So, you know, I guess we both really needed some time off. I think honestly from the pandemic, we filmed total bella's, being super pregnant. And then just the chaos of everything, we felt like we needed a moment, take a breather. I went up to the mountains.
Starting point is 01:37:38 I was in Lake Tahoe all summer. And where were you? Right? I was like, I don't really see you a lot. But we needed a breather. And also we were excited because we were going to Sirius XM and Stitcher. So it kind of gave us a little time to think about like how do we want to change the show? What do we want to do?
Starting point is 01:37:57 and I don't know. It was one of those refresh buttons. Yeah. What's the format for your podcast now? Like, what do you guys like talking about the most on there? So for us, it's like we wanted to be more conversational, especially with our guests. We were doing so many segments and we loved those segments, but we're like, people wanted more from us. They're like, we don't want that to end. So we're bringing just more conversation, but also just trying to dig deeper into people. It was like, not that things were very surface, but we're like, let's just get deeper into. their souls. Let's just bring it out. And then we also do play fun games. I mean, we couldn't get rid of Bella Brains. We had to keep Bella brains with Bree's husband. And as well as now we just, I feel like our games now are a little more edgier and a little more pop culture mainstream. That's always fun. You guys like pop culture. You and you? We do. We do. We don't talk. I feel like we don't talk a lot. Like, Bree and I, so we feel bad like going in on people. We, because we because you're on the other side. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:58 Yeah. So that's always been our thing. So we like some people I don't. Yeah. For sure. Dang. Look at her drink. There's someone that you just can't resist because it's too.
Starting point is 01:39:08 You know. Right. Totally. But so we just we we like it when it's very motivational and inspirational too. Because you know, sometimes you meet these people like we had Val from Dancing with the Stars on last week. And it's just like we learned I learned I hear I've known the guy but I like learned so much more about him and I walked away being like, damn, that guy, that guy's amazing. Right.
Starting point is 01:39:30 Because when you ever, you know, you see him and you have conversation, but you're not on the set of dance with the stars being like, so tell me about your childhood. Talk to me about it. How was that? I think that is really fun. And like we've done other woman podcasts too where like Hannah Burner and Victoria Garrick, right? It's like, we know these people on a surface level.
Starting point is 01:39:50 Yeah. Totally. For sure. Every week it's always like that really hit me here and this is what I need to change.
Starting point is 01:40:13 And just like when Bree and I wrote our memoir, it wasn't like, here's our story. Listen to it. It was like what are you going to take away from it when you're done with that last page? And that's kind of like when you are done with the podcast, what did you take away from this? make you a better person. Family-wise now, is anything off limits on the podcast? Do you get the men in your life being like, did you really need to tell that story? I actually go from Arden the other day.
Starting point is 01:40:40 He told me, he's like, I just really don't like you talking about her sex life. And I'm like, but I'm saying good things. It doesn't matter. I'm like, wait, when did you talk about your sex life? Did I miss it? She's like, tell me more right now. It was bringing up We were talking because the podcast is back
Starting point is 01:40:57 Oh, we were talking about the book Made it in captivity Yes Made you guys need to add a little more To your sex life Dang, I did not Don't lie Put words in my mouth
Starting point is 01:41:06 I said oh that's where Arnhem's gonna be upset I was like, what do you mean? We're not doing enough But so we were just talking about all this stuff And he just really doesn't want me To talk about our sex life But then I'm like What do I refer to you?
Starting point is 01:41:19 Yeah, right You're the only one I'm screwing Right People start talking about I got to have some reference points. It's just you. And I'm like, you do know you fell in love with, right? I'm the girl that says too much.
Starting point is 01:41:29 Can I ask a personal question now that you guys brought up sex life? What's it like when you're pregnant, obviously, and then you have a baby right after? What is, how much changes with that? Oh, a lot changes. Sex after, actually, it hurts so bad, which is weird. Not for me. It didn't? No.
Starting point is 01:41:47 Remember? Well, not like you were in there. Felt better? I was so horny. And then I remember. my doctor like, when can I have it? When can I have it? Now, she had a C-section. I didn't. And I only needed one stitch. And my doctor even then was like, technically you don't need one stitch. But like, at five weeks, I like wanted sex. And I had so much sex in the beginning. And then it stopped for me.
Starting point is 01:42:09 But it was weird because it was five to like when Mateo was five to eight weeks is when I wanted a lot of sex. Right, right. But like, but like, it didn't hurt. Right. But see, I didn't have a head come out of my vagina. Yeah. So I guess. Um, what are you trying to say on that? I guess. Yeah. It hurt. me. But I think too, I was recovering from a C-section. So maybe that's different. She was trying to say there. I have a big vagina. That's like a lot of the case. If you
Starting point is 01:42:33 can picture a baby head coming out of my sister's vagina, you can wonder why it didn't hurt. And why we're like the Venus flytrap as we go right back. Oh, is that it? And that's it. This is like a question that I think about because I'm obviously not even close
Starting point is 01:42:49 to getting married, getting pregnant, whatever. But is there a point in your brain where you feel a little guilty like not being able to have sex because obviously you're thinking about your partner and you're like they want to, what do you do there?
Starting point is 01:43:04 Have sex? I will say... Nicole and I've actually had school jobs where we're like... We always say... All right everyone, that wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office. Just a reminder, we do not have an episode
