This is state of emergency.
What's up, everyone?
It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne and Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Thursday.
We've had a really fun past few days.
We have a ton to talk about in our personal lives and on the show, The Bachelor.
all of that, we're going to cover it all. But first, we have to talk about figs. I've talked to you guys
about figs before, and I've seen multiple people tag me in their stories of them wearing figs,
and I absolutely love to see it. I've told you that figs is an incredible company that's doing
something about scrubs that need to be stylish, but yet useful for people in the medical field.
They design medical apparel that looks good, feels good, and helps medical professionals perform
at their best no matter what their day throws at them. Figg scrubs are packed with tons of features and
functionality. They created their own fabric that's anti-microbial, anti-wrinkle, moisture wicking,
full of stretch and ridiculously soft. And they have tons of pockets, which I think is extremely
necessary if you're in the medical profession, whatever you need to carry in there. I know that my
sister uses figs and she absolutely loves it. She actually texted me. She was like,
Oh my God, you're talking about figs.
We use figs at work.
We all love them so much.
It's our go-to scrubs.
So Figs is the scrubs for you, if that's what you're looking for.
They come in a ton of different colors and styles from classic v-neck tops and straight-leg pants
to more fashion-forward, collared shirts, and jogger pants.
Whatever you're looking for, they have it.
They're stylish, but yet perfect scrubs to have.
And they don't just stop at scrubs.
They also have lab coats, jackets, tote bags, compression socks, and much more.
really everything modern medical professionals need to take on long days and nights.
So if you're a doctor or a medical professional who's listening to this show right now and you need some new scrubs,
get them at figs.

I don't know what day the week it is.
Yeah, we're confused.
just got back from LA, literally.
We just landed. We came right to
the office. We're recording right now.
We went to L.A. because people
were asking us this. I didn't really know how to explain
it over Instagram, so I can explain
it now. We just went to...
It was very last minute.
Very last minute. We went to the premiere of the show
Hunters on Amazon Prime.
We went to the premiere of that. It was a lot
of fun. The show is
really good. The show is crazy.
Yeah, the show is crazy.
I definitely recommend checking it out
It comes out all on Friday.
So that was really fun, but we flew in Monday morning.
We got to L.A. around 3 p.m. L.A. time.
And then we were there all day.
We went to Tom Tom.
Guys, Tom Tom is so good.
It's so good.
The food is amazing.
People.
Yeah.
The atmosphere is unbelievable.
Like I feel like it's such a.
Lisa Vanderpump, chef's kiss.
Like it's such like a touristy thing to do.
but it is
it's awesome
and the last time we went
they only had one side
they've expanded
they have Tom Tom is twice the size now
is even bigger
you know Lisa's got full grown trees
in the inside of course obviously
and it's just like
enchanted forest magic
and the cocktails are fantastic
the cauliflower wings are so good
like I know that maybe people are like
oh cauliflower these wings are
unbelievable
truly unbelievable.
So we were only in L.A. from Monday to Wednesday, Tuesday,
was the day of the premiere.
And then Wednesday we flew back.
So it was quick.
So last episode was the Justice Bieber DM, right?
Yeah.
And many people reached out to me, which I want to say thank you to the people
reached out to me because they were like, Rhea, speak your opinions.
Don't let people make you afraid of your opinions.
And you know, I feel really empowered by these people DMing me being like,
speak your opinions because it made me feel validated. And also somebody DM me and they were like,
thank you for talking about that because I too have this inner battle with myself where I'm like,
I want to be myself, but I'm afraid of what people think of me and my opinions. And I feel like
that's what I struggle with sometimes truly like I have this inner battle in my brain where I'm like,
this is really me. This is what I should be saying. But I just want to say, just be true to yourself.
People will like you. If they like you. And if they don't, who gives us?
a fuck too bad.
Thank you, Justin Bieber, for
our new motto. Yeah, Justin Bieber is really
giving us a new slogan. Too bad. So now
we're taking too bad from Justin Bieber
and we're taking that and if you don't like our opinion
too bad. Too bad.
Everything is just too bad.
So we're really just going to capitalize
on the fact that Justin Bieber DM saying too bad.
Make it our own guys. Use it every day.
You don't like me? Too bad.
Just really.
at random times hits me.
Like I, it was 1 a.m. after the event, Tuesday night.
And I just texted you because I, well, I was also watching the Justin Bieber Carpour carioke.
But I was just like, it is really insane.
This is one of the most famous men on the planet.
Now that I've had time to digest the situation, I didn't really have time to digest it when it was happening in 30 minutes after.
It's been almost a full week now.
So I fully digested it.
And everybody made me feel a lot better about it because I was like, damn, I acted like kind of a pussy last podcast.
No, not all.
But it's just, you know, sometimes it was emotional.
Yeah, I would have been emotional.
It's just real feelings that sometimes I have in my brain that I was like, I guess I should be honest about this.
I'm having this conflict in myself.
But it, I've digested it.
And he really is truly one of the most famous people on this planet.
And he DM me too bad.
And you know what?
I'm going to use that going forward to.
Right. I think we just adopt that for ourselves. Like Justin Bieber, he put out a new album,
he got criticized for it. And you know what he said? Too bad.
And you know, too bad. We say something. We get criticized for it. Too bad. Too bad. That's a shame. Too bad.
That's just, that's just too bad. I want to say Harry Styles fans on Twitter. I am now your queen.
Yeah. Because they love me and I love them. I fucking love the Harry Styles fans on Twitter. I have to shake.
You tapped into Stan Twitter for sure. I really did because I was terrified that I was going to get really crazy Justin Bieber fans coming after me. I truly was terrified. I didn't really get as much as I thought I did. I got an overwhelming amount of Harry Styles fans being like, you're our queen. And I'm like, oh my God. I can't even go to the concert. I'll run into them. I'm making friends with these people. But yeah, I guess, you know, now my one.
I was going to say my one true love. I can't say that. That's not nice.
That's kind of how I feel, but not that I'm calling myself the queen of the Jonas Brothers,
but the fandom community is fantastic. Like being a part of that is awesome. I feel like you
are slowly entering the Harry South. With Harry South fandom world. And it feels really. Water's warm.
It feels really good. Like I'm trying to manifest what we've done with the Jonas Brothers for you
for Harry Styles for us.
If I keep being active about Harry Styles,
maybe he'll like me.
Capital Radio.
Is that an Australian?
No, it's UK.
Oh, it's UK.
It's UK.
I always get confused with that and the one that's in Australia.
UK.
Just a hilarious Instagram post of Harry Stiles and Justin Bieber side by side and your
face just smack dab in the middle.
And it's like, Justin Bieber DM to someone too bad when she criticizes.
He exercised his album.
And wrote something about Harry Seiles.
If you cut off that part and you just see the three pictures, it looks like...
It looked like you broke up a beautiful friendship between Harry Seals and Justin Bieber
when you banged both of them and they found out or something.
Listen, if that was the headline, bury me and send me off.
It's saying you've done a good job, Rhea, good work.
Because I was...
This is sick, but I was dreaming in my head of...
I literally screenshoted it and I cropped it where it's just me.
Justin and Harry in the
Photoshop. So you can't see what the headline
is that it's just like name that headline.
It's just the picture of the three of us.
Yeah. Oh my God. I never could have imagined. Thank you guys for listening to
this show or else we would never be here. That's so true.
I had a dream in L.A. I forgot. I didn't say this to you. I said it to Ria.
But that basically long story short, I won't get to the personal part of the dream.
But it ended with me reading an article, like an interview of
Harry Stiles being interviewed
and he just kept bringing up all these like
big pop culture moments
and the interviewer was like
wow you really are in tune with everything going on
like what do you do and he was like
oh there's these two girls
re-in-friend and I watch all their videos
and listen to their podcast
and they're so great you never know and
like it was just so funny because I woke up
and was just laughing at myself I was like
what a ridiculous dream
but it was enjoyable.
Yeah, I fucking wish.
Oh, my God.
In his little British voice.
I'm scared.
I literally could scream at the top of my life right now,
thinking about Maryssalis sitting in front of me.
I freaked out about it and it was truly just a dream.
Oh, I can't really know.
Is that by far your number one get right now?
Yeah, my number one get would be Harris-Siles.
I don't think he would ever come on like the show though.
But I want him to and I hope he does one day.
So I'm just putting that out there.
If anybody knows Harry Styles,
personally, please.
Why wouldn't he, though?
Because I don't see him.
I don't know.
I feel like he's open to anything.
True.
I feel like we really need to court him,
which I'm going to do moving forward.
We're open to courting him.
Yeah.
No, but we had a great time in L.A.
The weather was really nice.
We were once again there for like a dead.
Two nights.
We were there for, you know, Tuesday.
And we, like you said,
we went to Tom Tom, and then got amazing
breakfast recommendation.
We went to the Grittal Cafe.
I got pancakes that were just ginormous.
They were the biggest pancakes I ever seen.
The size of France body.
It was insane.
Oh my God.
Coconut and chocolate pancakes, they were so, so good.
I did not really eat that much of it, but they were huge.
I couldn't.
I didn't want you to finish it.
No, no, that would have been pretty good.
You would have a heart attack immediately after.
I had the French toast.
It was great.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It was, it was good and feeling and amazing.
It was very good.
Shout out to the people sent that recommendation because it was so good.
Really good.
Love the weather, hate the traffic in L.A.
Yeah, we've talked about this a billion times, but it was just like another thing where
you have to double the amount of time it gets to places.
Like we had this event.
Somebody in the group was coming back from Santa Monica and it was late.
It always works out though.
Every time we've been in L.A.
We were good.
It worked out.
But then we get there.
and whatever we're going to has to started.
Yes, because I think what is good about it
is that everybody is in that same traffic.
Like there's no other way.
Like it's not like, oh, everybody else took the subway
and they're there on time and you're the idiot who took the Uber
and you're stuck in traffic.
Everybody's stuck in traffic.
Everybody.
There's no way around it.
Yeah, exactly.
So, you know, we got to the screening.
It was awesome.
There, you know, I was maybe hoping that we would be able to like
sneak a peek at Logan Lerman.
and Appuccino they're in the show
but you know they weren't there
That's okay
I had high hopes but maybe that was
An unrealistic hope
But anyway
The no the show was great
The whole event was really cool
Like they turned the whole
Street into like this block party
That is a transformation to the 1970s
The bowling alley
Everything's really cool
If you're in L.A you can go
Yeah
From today, Thursday to Saturday
And it looks really
it was really cool, it was really fun, cotton candy.
Cotton candy that lights up.
There's a bowling alley.
Dustin from Zoe 101 was there.
This woman shoved a knife down her throat.
It was very impressive.
I wanted to talk.
It was so funny because there's just like,
I guess this is just what L.A. life is, right?
Like you go to these events or like these parties and whatnot,
and there's just hilarious people because we don't see all these people.
They don't really exist in New York.
Like I'm looking around this room in L.A.
And I'm like, okay, there's,
Dustin from Zoe 101.
Ha ha.
We got behind him in line and I was like, I had a moment where I freaked out and then I was like,
okay, calm down.
It's Dustin.
And Rob Raiko from Riverdale was there.
And Cameron from Ari the One, I forget with Seizing, but it was Cameron and Michaela.
If you guys watch Ari the One, you know what I'm talking about.
It was just like, oh, there's that guy.
There's this person.
But we were like the kids at the party who, we just,
We stood in the corner with our drinks and just stared at people.
Like I feel like eventually people were like, okay, those girls were like really staring at us.
But I was just soaking in the scene.
I'm just trying to take in the L.A. crowd.
Like, boys are just so different in L.A.
They are so different.
They're so different.
I'm not into it.
I just wanted to watch them.
Yeah, yeah.
I don't even know what you guys mean.
What do you mean?
There's just a different vibe.
L.A. guys just have a different vibe.
L.A. guys, you can watch.
just tell are way more into themselves.
They're more stylish. They groom
themselves more. Like there's
just, they care more about like people
looking at them. Right.
And that's just L.A. in
general, I feel like. Yeah, that's fine.
And also, maybe they cared about people looking
at them because they were like, those two girls are staring at
us. Oh, there were times where I was straight up
just dead staring at people. And I caught
myself doing that. I was like, shit. But it's all I did as well,
but I just felt like I might as. We didn't know anybody.
We didn't know anyone. And when you don't know anyone,
you slightly feel invisible.
You do.
No, but not in a bad way.
You're like, I feel invisible
that like nobody's looking at me.
So they don't know that I'm looking at them,
but they do know that you're looking at them.
Yeah, you're right.
But you feel like they're not.
But it was still fun and we still had some lovely drinks.
I was still having a good time,
whether or not we only talked to each other
and didn't talk to anybody else.
They had good branded cocktails.
Yeah.
Oh, the popcorn, the candy that was had during the shell as well.
It was fantastic. It was a good time. I wore a dress from Avercromby. Guys, Avercromby's back.
go check it out this is not an ad people keep telling me like you said it and then people are like
yeah you have to you know give in to it i'm telling you i looked but um you just got it's it's let me tell you
i bought a bunch of stuff and i was like i don't know it was like it was a cyber monday deal they had
a sale i was like i'm gonna buy a bunch of stuff and it's everything looks so much better on
yeah i mean it does look great and i'm it's more or less i'm just like abercrombie
yeah you just got to own it just got to own it
Yeah, I mean, I'm fine with owning things that are people don't, you know, necessarily like wearing wise.
Right.
Like, I'll wear whatever I like.
I don't care about that.
Yeah.
I just don't know if it's my style yet.
Like, I got to like dig a little deeper into it.
The body suits and stuff are cute.
Yeah, they have like, and I remember telling you it was a lot of good, like, basic staple pieces.
Yeah, just like stuff you can layer.
And then what else they want to say?
Oh, we went to in and out again.
And this is, you know, we went inside, sat down, hot, fresh, the whole thing.
Burgers are good.
Burgers are great.
Fries are trash.
Right.
And everyone's like, you got to get them well done.
You got to get them animal style.
We did both of those things.
Got them well done.
Got them all done.
They're bad friends fries.
They're straight up bad.
They taste like cardboard.
They taste like cardboard.
They taste like stale chips.
They just taste stale.
They just like stale.
No matter what they taste stoles without the flavor.
There's no like what makes a great French fries.
is crispy on the outside, but still like the mushy potato on the inside.
And the in and out fries almost feel like they're hollow.
Yeah.
Like there's nothing on the, it's just the crunch and then there's no.
There's nothing on the inside.
Yeah.
It's ridiculous.
But I will say people do agree with that, that the burgers are good and the fries are bad.
It's how many people are DMing me, they're like, yeah, the fries are trash there.
I would have any, I would have Burger King fries over in and out fries.
Yeah, I said it.
I would have goddamn Burger King.
You know what?
Guess what guys?
I fucking like Burger King.
It announced fries are at the bottom.
Bottom of the list.
People judge you for liking Burger King.
Fucking love Burger King.
Chicken fries.
Chicken fries.
Chicken sandwich.
I don't think I've ever had a chicken sandwich.
I've only ever gotten chicken fries.
Really fucking good.
They're chicken sandwich.
But not better than McDonald's.
Than it makes chicken?
Yeah.
Guys.
Wow.
A Burger King chicken sandwich is really.
The one that, no, I, Mick chickens are great, but, um, okay.
The long, like, you, it's long.
I don't know how to describe it.
Okay, yeah, yeah.
It's like a, like, more of a sub type look.
Yeah, it's not like 12 inches.
No, no, yes, yes.
It's, uh, I would say, a round roll.
Not a round roll.
Yeah, maybe a little smaller than that.
Okay.
And it is good.
I hope some people like, are like, yeah, I agree with you.
Yeah.
Because then I'll feel like a fool.
But damn, those things.
Remember when you just said you were owning your opinions?
Right.
own it. You're owning it. You like the Burger King chicken sandwiches. Yeah, I do. It's really
fucking good. It is. I used to get them all the time. Now they were here, I used to get them all the time as a
kid, all the time. I haven't really, I was a strict chicken fries gal, like always. Yeah, well,
what happened when chicken fries were taken away? I'd stop going to burger. They did.
Yeah, they did bring back. When they left, I just stopped going to burger king. I started getting the
chicken sandwich. Okay. If you had this chicken sandwich, you would actually really like it. Maybe
I'm going to bring one for you tomorrow.
Okay.
So you can try it.
Because I will say I get my chickens because on Postmates or Uber Eats, wherever I was living.
I think that they do deliver Burger King to my apartment now, but my past two, they didn't deliver Burger King.
So I would postmates McDonald's, which is why I'd get to make chicken.
Yep.
Now the other options on the table.
You have me try both of those.
Okay.
I might be picking the Burger King on.
do a blind.
Maybe we'll do a blind taste test.
What?
You prefer McDonald's overall.
Like McDonald's is your number one overall.
Yeah.
McDonald's is.
Me as well.
Yeah.
McDonald's is the staple.
Yeah.
Burger King is my little side hoe that I'll tell anybody about until now.
But anyways.
Burger King's my side piece.
Yeah, I'm trying to think we had, you know, it's a long flight.
We have a stretch.
I was not knitting or needle pointing a pillow on the way to L.A.
People were like,
Ria and I are not in a feud.
Oh yeah, people were like, you and Fran, this is actually funny.
We should talk about this.
So people were like, so many questions.
Oh, somebody said on, Ria did a Q&A on Instagram if you didn't see it.
To explain it.
Ria did Q&A on Instagram.
I do that sometime on flights.
It's a great thing to pass by time.
Yes.
I think the questions are really entertaining.
So I saw a lot of these questions that were like, are you and Fran on the outs?
Somebody said on Twitter that it seems like you guys don't like each other anymore like this,
at the other thing.
And I saw one.
I was like, I'm not going to answer that.
That's stupid.
And then I saw it a few more times.
I was like, I guess I have to address this now.
What is going on?
And you were sitting across and one row up.
And people were like, wait, why aren't you and friends sitting together?
Multiple of those.
Like, seriously it concerned me that so many people were like, you guys aren't
sitting together.
So I wrote, number one, one of us would have to sit in the middle.
then and neither of us are sitting in the middle seat. We both wanted the aisle. Number two,
me and Fran spend more time together than people should, I think. Honestly, like, like, I mean,
and we don't fight or anything, so it's fine, but like, we, there's times, like, a plane is just a time
where you kind of decompress, you watch movies, you play games, like, you do what you got to do.
Like, I don't want to be sitting next to people on a plane who are having full-blown conversations
the entire flight. We would talk the whole time.
Exactly. And I, like, re and I were texting the whole fight. We were. That's what's crazy about it, that people like, not saying to each other, but we're texting each other. And people, I think, think when we don't like agree with each other on the podcast that they're like, oh my God, like, damn. That must mean like they secretly, like really don't like each other on the other side. And it's just like, like we said last time, like you're allowed to have different opinions. You're allowed to like be different than each other. We also booked this flight like three days ago. Like the flight like it was such a last minute trip that that we booked these.
flights. Like we had to work with the seats that were available. I wouldn't sit next to you. I wouldn't.
And also when I said, although if there was a two, like if the seats were available, they were not.
Right. I watched Spider buy them. Like if there was a two window aisle and those were the other
only options, I would happily sit next to you. But sure, because I'd be fine with either one of those.
But those were not, those were not available. No. And I will say, I said that we spent too much,
too much more time that people should. I'm obviously kidding about that. But I will say,
I wrote on the Instagram, we spent seven plus hours.
a day together, seven plus hours every single day together.
Yeah.
And then when we're not together, we text all the time.
Like we're never like not communicating.
Like something happens.
I'm like, oh, I have to tell Fran this immediately or else.
It just doesn't feel normal.
So I think it's funny when people like, I guess from the outside, you don't really,
you don't know us personally.
So you wouldn't really know, I guess.
But from the outside of people being like, you guys are on the outs.
Meanwhile, we physically can't stop speaking to each other.
It makes me laugh.
But so you were doing this Q&A and posted a picture of, like, the back of my seat.
You could see, like, the side of me because people were asking about reclining because I had yet to recline my seat.
And I had the, I just had the pillow that they give you, like the Delta pillow on my lap.
And it just, it looked like I was knitting or stint, like making a pillow or something.
People were like, is Fran?
Even my friends sent it to me.
And they were like, Fran, are you needle pointing a pillow?
Like, what are you doing?
I do remember seeing the pillow.
and I'm like, why is it just sitting there's nowhere to put it?
I don't know.
There's nowhere to go.
I wasn't reclining.
So if you put the pillow behind your back, like you're leaning forward.
I just want you to know that I think you're weak for, uh, I reclined.
No, for when I got there, when I needed it, for waiting so long until you told me you wait until you saw the guy fall asleep.
And I think you'll need for that.
No, no, I didn't wait for the guy to fall asleep.
I was comfortable.
And then once I was like, you know what?
Sure.
I was.
I was comfortable until I was like, you know what?
I'm not going to lie.
recline now. And I took a peek behind me. I took a peek behind me and was like, oh, I didn't even
noticed. I didn't, wasn't like checking up on him. I was like, oh, this guy's, he's got a feet. He's got,
he's asleep and he's recline. So I was like, fuck it on. There I go.
Down I go. My recliner was broken on the way home. And obviously I said something because in my
head, I was like, do I say something or do I not say something? Because in this climate,
reclining is a touchy situation. I don't even know if I want to bring this.
up to the flight attendant. Now I am constantly watching other people recline their seat.
Like I'm like, when they recline, I'm like, they recline and then I look to see the person's reaction
behind because there's always like a, there's always an eye roll of some sort. But that person's
reclined as well. It's extremely entertaining. Yeah. So I had to say something and she was like,
oh, she acted surprise. She was like, oh no, do you want a cocktail or something? I was like, it's 9 a.m.
and I know that's, it's, it's, it was a nice offer.
And I honestly thought about it, but it.
Right.
Just give me like a $15.
It truly was like 9 a.m.
And I don't judge anybody for drinking at 9 a.m.
But I just woke it up.
We had to, I knew we had to, which probably made, what it made me feel better.
But I knew we had to come record.
You know, one drink would have had to turn to many because like one drink,
then I'd be like slightly feeling on the come down and not be tough.
Anyways, I had this baby that.
wouldn't stop crying next to me.
This thing was flipping upside down,
jumping around, going all around the plane.
This baby.
This baby.
This baby.
And the dad was not equipped to handle this baby.
He got a beer.
He spilled it all over himself.
I could not stop laughing.
I truly, like, this is fucked,
but I was looking them in the eyes,
cackling at my seat.
The girl next to me was looking at me.
She, I saw her looking at me
and then watch my TV to be like,
Is she watching a comedy? Why is she laughing?
What is she hysterical laughing at?
Like, I was deep into my, into my knees laughing at this baby screaming and crying the entire
time.
Like, I say baby.
It was like two years old.
Toddler, I guess.
Well, yeah.
He could walk.
He could walk.
Sorry, not it.
He was like two years old.
Did you say it?
That's a bad sign.
That's when you know you're.
is not ready for children when you start calling the baby It.
Yep.
It was just all over the place.
But no, they were running up and down the aisles.
That poor kid was.
Yeah, that poor dad.
Yeah, yeah.
Just all around you feel bad.
I was really happy they made it home.
Yeah, yeah.
The girl next to Noah was watching It Chapter 2.
What a psycho move because I, like, I just glanced for a second because she was one row up
and across.
and I just looked up for one second
and I don't
I don't like well I mean
I do that too so I play candy crush
yeah the whole time the whole time
so I can't but like
I don't I haven't seen it
I haven't seen it chapter two like I
those aren't really my type of movies
but I just look up and like this human
head is turning into
a spider like arms
and shit are popping out of this
person's skull and I'm like
oh like I visibly was like oh my god like that was and didn't seem to face her at all I don't know
what people are people are into that and this is my final plane thought we talked about this and I tweeted
about this when we landed in LA because I could not believe this move when the plane lands
and everybody stands up if you stand like in your area that's fine like if you get up you're
standing in your seat sure maybe you're in the aisle and you stretch out but it's still
like your row.
Has to be in your row.
We like the seatbelt sign clicked off and this couple jolted up the like jolted up the plane.
They were like six rows behind me and you know they got stopped right where my right where
our seats were like right in between us.
And then they were just stuck there and they were just standing there and no one I couldn't
get up to get our bags out because these people had right.
rush the aisle. I was just like, just wait. Just wait in your spot. We all got to get off the
plane. I angry tweeted the woman. She watched me angry tweet. She read it over my shoulder. She turned
to her husband and was like, it seems like there's a problem. And I didn't say anything.
I just continued to angry tweet. It's just that there is a problem because like you're acting
like you've never been on an airplane before lady. What, what's the point? What is the point of
that? I don't know. That just, that drives me and you know you have to wait till everybody walks
off in front of you. Right. What are you doing? We're 30 rows back. You thought you were going to
run off the plane they were going to let you out first like you're still going to have to wait you're
an economy like you're letting first class they're letting comfort out and then they're letting us out it's
just like wait in your spot and then when it's your time to get up exit the plane simple as that simple
and that's if you want to stand in your designated area go ahead go ahead you do that but don't stand
stretch it out stretch it out us people with the bad backs and bad necks got to stretch it out
I felt like that. When we landed today, I was like, oh, God, I got to stand. And, you know, I just kind of stood up in my own little spot. Yeah, good for you. Crazy. Crazy times on airplanes.
Plain thoughts with Ryan Fran. Now wraps it up. All right. Let's get into the rest of the podcast. I just remembered that the merch. We talked about too bad. But there's merch on sale now. A black, too bad sweatshirt. Also, a tie-dye one, a blue one. Go buy it.
Is the blue one on sale?
It is now, yes.
Oh, wonderful.
It is on sale.
I love them.
I think they're simple, but they're cool.
Go buy them.
We'll match.
It's our new motto.
Too bad.
New words to live by it.
Noah will put the link in the description.
Head there.
Go buy them.
Check them out.
Crew necks, finally.
People have been asking about crew necks.
These are...
Yeah, we really need some chicks on.
Yeah, we need to do that too.
All right.
So let's get in to the topics.
We talk about the incredibly sad news about Caroline Flack passing away this
weekend. We talk a little bit about Harry Styles and we also have a full bachelor recap with
Luggage Guy Trent. Let's get into it starting off with Caroline Flack.
You guys have a bunch of stuff lying around your house that you just don't use. You know the kinds of
things, maybe old sports equipment, a pair of jeans that you only wore one time, that old phone
that's just hiding in your drawer somewhere. We are here to tell you about an app that you can use to sell
all of this stuff. It's called Mercari. Mercari is the selling app that makes it fast and easy to sell
almost anything. It couldn't be simpler. You just take a few pictures of your stuff at a description and boom,
your item is listed. Then once it sold, Mercari emails you a shipping label and you just stick it on
and send it off. No meetups, no hassles. It's a really super, super easy to use. I had a bunch of stuff
in my apartment that I just no longer use, a bunch of old clothes, a bunch of old electronics,
stuff that I just didn't need anymore, and I used Mercari to sell them, and it was so simple.
The app has over 500,000 reviews on the app store with an average 4.8 star rating,
so why not give it a try?
You can sell everything from fashion to electronics, toys, to sporting to goods, and not only
can you earn a few extra dollars, but you clear up valuable space in your home.
Over 150,000 items get listed every day on Mercari.
So what are you waiting for?
I know that you have stuff you don't use.
Sell it, ship it, and get paid with Mercari.
You can find Mercari on the app store or on Mercari.com.
That's M-E-R-C-A-R-I-Mercari, the selling app.
So unfortunately, we had some very sad news over the weekend.
Caroline Flack, the host of Love Island.
unfortunately passed away.
She committed suicide.
It is extremely, extremely sad.
We know what happened a few months ago.
She had an incident with her boyfriend.
They claimed it was like domestic violence.
And then she, you know, wasn't the host anymore.
So she lost her job.
And then everything just was crazy after that.
And it seems like all of that has really had an impact on what has happened.
It definitely was all kind of a spiral.
And I paid attention to it sort of.
Like I would see headlines, but I wasn't really reading that much about the situation.
Like I remember seeing the initial reports of when this had happened and that obviously they were going to replace her on the season of Love Island.
But then I obviously, we're not reading all the, you know, the British tablets and whatnot.
but after hearing this news, seeing some of the stuff that was written about her and just the, like, insane headlines day after day after day of just like prying into her life in this situation.
And she wasn't really able to talk about any of it for, you know, legal reasons.
And it was just, it was just crazy.
And, you know, people were really, people were really pissed because this is like an ongoing problem.
with, I guess, you know, the British tabloids that of them just absolutely crushing these people.
Yeah, it seems crazy.
Obviously, we don't live there, so we don't know.
But it seems to be even crazier than here.
I mean, considering, unfortunately, the past, there was two other contestants on Love Island who killed themselves.
And I don't know if it was like 100% because of that, but I think it definitely had something to do with it.
because of the media and what people are saying to them.
And even when Molly May, when she was on the show,
they advised her out of everyone to stay off social media the most.
Like they didn't allow her to go back on because it was so bad.
People were like threatening to come find her and kill her.
And it's just so crazy.
And so what has happened with Caroline is just so incredibly sad.
I mean, I can't even imagine like what her family is going through.
Yeah.
They posted something that she.
had wanted to post a few days before that she never ended up posting and she kept alluding
to the incident to being an accident and she kept wanting everyone to know the truth and that she's
sorry to her family for what she thinks she has caused them and it's just so sad to think that she
was going through such a hard time where in her mind she felt like she was you know just causing
harm to her family and she thought she had to harm herself because
of what people were doing to her family.
It's just, it's, it's, it's really, really sad.
And it opens up kind of this whole bigger conversation of love,
island, like, you know, people have talked about this in context with like, well, how does this,
how, like, what can the show do?
How, but it's just like, it's, it's such a hard thing because it's just,
reality TV in general, regardless of what show you're on, if you're on a popular show, people
criticize you.
And then on top of that, you're reading these things or, you know, if shit goes crazy and,
you know, you have a situation like this and where, like, the media just doesn't leave you
alone is insane.
So, like, you have to think that hopefully if these shows are going to continue, that they
provide the resources to these people that, you know, they can, they're there to help.
They're there to give them somebody to talk to, somebody to look over them, to watch over them.
And it seemed like people thought that maybe like ITV had kind of deserted Caroline that they had,
you know, in this time when, when she needed this community that they had kind of excluded her,
obviously, because, you know, she wasn't hosting this season.
but like you said the the fact that you know her family published this post with um the eastern
daily press was something that she had written but was talked out of posting um is just is really
I mean it's just so so sad you know she apologized she said she just couldn't she said the reason
I'm talking today is because my family can't take anymore I've lost my job my home my
ability to speak and the truth has been taken out of my hands and used as entertainment.
I'm sorry to my family for what I brought upon them and for what my friends have had to go through.
I have always taken responsibility for what happened that night, even on the night.
But the truth is it was an accident.
But I am not a domestic abuser.
We had an argument and an accident happened, an accident.
So, you know, she really put the emphasis on it.
And it's weird because I don't know the absolute ins and outs of this case, the situation
with her and her and her boyfriend, Lewis.
But I do know that he had said publicly that he did not want to, like, press charges,
that he didn't want this case to continue.
But it was anyway.
I guess, you know, the British law enforcement could just continue with the investigation
regardless because of, I would assume, just the severity of maybe the situation.
She was supposed to stand trial next month, which is probably why she was.
probably why she was talked out of posting that because she can't for legal reasons. But,
you know, he had been trying to reach out to her, but they were told that they weren't allowed
to talk to each other. Like, he had just posted a picture of them together for Valentine's Day.
Like, he's still very much involved in her life. Yeah. It's just so sad. I mean,
terrible. Terrible. Obviously, this goes without saying, but I feel like sometimes these conversations
and something like this happens, like can strike a nerve with some people who have maybe
have thought about this before.
They know somebody who has committed suicide.
And I just want to say that you can come talk to us.
Yeah.
Anytime.
If you feel that way, come talk to us.
There's always somebody to talk to.
Yeah.
And it's just, it's really sad to know that some people really just feel like there's no
escape.
And that's the only way.
And it really breaks my heart for her and her family.
Totally. And if you, it's just, if those thoughts ever creep in or you feel like you got, you have to talk to somebody. It doesn't matter who it is. It can be, it could be anybody. Sometimes a stranger, it help is, it's the best. Sometimes a stranger is the best, the best person to go through. Because they don't know you and you don't feel like, sometimes I feel like you think the people in your life are like judging you. Yeah. A stranger, they don't know you at all. Right.
But I'm not saying a total stranger on the street, but I'm saying a therapist is...
Therapy is awesome.
Yes, it is.
Don't be afraid of therapy.
I know.
Before I had gone for a while and before that, I was like, I don't need to do this.
But it was just like the greatest thing ever.
So if, you know, hopefully with the right person, sometimes, you know, you got to try it.
Sometimes you got to try a few.
Yeah, I went to somebody who I didn't, you know, now this goes into a different situation.
No, I know.
But sometimes you have to try if you don't.
Like if you go to one and you hate it, you're like,
oh, this stinks.
I hate therapy.
Like, go see someone else.
It's probably just you're not clicking with that person.
The person I went to, she, every week, she'd be like, so what's going on?
She never really gave me any tips.
That's beside the point.
But anyways, there are people who actually do help.
You just have to click with them.
They're out there.
So yeah, it's a, it's a conversation that needs to have.
And we have, I mean, look, we've been watching this, we have been watching this season
of Love Island currently.
Like, we're fairly up to.
date we haven't watched the episodes of this week.
We know that they did not air episodes on Saturday and Sunday and that on Monday,
they did acknowledge Caroline.
I haven't,
I don't really know.
We haven't watched it yet,
so we can't speak on it.
But just terrible.
And she was,
you know,
still so young and was just seemed like such a beautiful person.
Like everybody,
just seeing what everybody is written about her,
that everybody just had the nice,
things to say about her.
And boy,
I know it's not like,
you can't just say,
oh, it's all the British media's fault.
But some of the stuff
seems like it might be.
Some of the stuff that they write is just like unbelievable.
Like I don't know how some like sometimes they go to sleep at night.
Like how I felt deep into like the some editor of the son and his tweets that he had like a
relationship with Caroline and how distraught he was over this situation and that he's uh that he
had talked to her in these moments and that ITV wasn't there for her and that you know she would get to
the other side of this like all these like really intense tweets about their relationship and just
like overcoming this and all the replies are just like what like you run the newspaper that
ran all these stories about how like bad her life was and how how
you know how things have taken a turn and all this is just like you know her life is a disaster now
and she and you know all the stories about the the court case and it's just i don't know it was a
very sad rabbit hole like of of the situation but it's scary what and i and it makes you
think i mean obviously we had seen a lot but it's a little more understandable of why
uh harry and megan were like see you later yeah that's true yeah didn't even think about
that.
Speaking of Harry,
Harry Stiles,
he wore a pin
for Caroline.
We talked about this before.
They previously dated
in the past.
And then something happened
with Harry Siles,
which was crazy as well
this weekend.
Yeah.
Obviously,
not as crazy as
Caroline News.
No, no, no.
Somebody tried to rob
Harry Siles, right?
Yeah.
He was held at knife point.
I believe, and they wanted, like, but the source said that he handled it very calmly.
Of course he did.
You know, gave, gave the man what he, what he was asking for.
And that it was, that it was okay.
And obviously they say, you know, he was shaken up.
That's that'll do that.
But that, thank God, nobody was heard and the people he was with and the whole situation is.
Terrifying.
And I read that to you and we both like, like, like, because I saw like,
the headline that I had seen, it was weird because he was literally on the red carpet at the Brits.
And I'd seen the hair styles robbed at knife point and was like, what is going on?
Like, did this just happen?
Like on the red carpet for the Brits?
What, like, what is happening?
It happened, I guess, a couple of days before, you know, over this past weekend.
Terrifying.
Yeah, it was terrifying.
And I just have to say, of course, he handled it.
calmly and collectively and cool because he's Harris-Siles. And I feel like if you're robbing
Harry Styles and then all of a sudden you hear Harry Styles speak right in front of you,
you're going to be like, okay. You're nice and pretty to look at. You know, if you're the robber,
then yeah, that works. Yeah. I mean, I don't know. I feel like if I was robbing Harry Styles,
I've gunpoint. Not gunpoint, knife point, but damn. I know. Really scary. But he,
He handled it, like he said.
Well, he was at the Brits.
He performed falling.
It was magical.
He wore just like, he just has the coolest outfits.
People make fun of him.
But that man has the greatest style.
The coolest outfits.
Just he wore like this super cool jumpsuit.
I don't even know how to describe it.
I have listened to that album straight through, front to back, swear to God, from the first song to the last song, more than anything I've ever listened to in my life.
I so far in the past three days I would say I listened to it front to back four times.
That's insane.
Like what I just am obsessed with it.
No, it's, it's truly.
I still listen to it all the time.
I've never felt this way about like an album before.
Yeah.
I really love it.
Yeah.
And I know people did send us this, but there is that he is performing in New York next week.
Yeah, we're not going to be here.
We're going to be in Florida.
Which is sad.
Yeah.
I'm trying not to think about that because...
I know.
I know.
It was my choice.
But, yeah, it's okay.
It's okay.
We're going to get through.
We know you'd like to thank your shit don't stay.
But lean a little bit closer see, roses real and smell like boo, boo, boo, who don't stay.

All right, guys, we have our Bachelor Recap, Hometowns.
We did not watch live.
Ria and I did not watch live.
Trent watched live.
Yeah, I did.
We were really jealous.
I figured, because I've had that happen to me before.
a couple of years ago where I think I was in Texas or something and I was an hour behind and you just
feel helpless.
Yeah.
Did you guys, you guys didn't watch or I guess, did you look at Twitter?
Yeah, yeah.
There was no way to, there was no way to not.
They're just, it was impossible.
Yeah, I looked at Twitter the whole time.
I tried to watch on my iPad because I got a VPN for Love Island, which I don't use for
Love Island because it didn't end up working.
It's a whole big thing.
I use a different site, realityarchive.com, if you want to use it.
And I tried using this VPN.
didn't work for watching The Bachelor.
Also, we got to our hotel 15 minutes before we were starting.
A whole big rush.
I was like, you know what?
I'm not in the mindset to live tweet this.
I don't want to be given mediocre tweets out there.
If I want to be tweeting, I want them to be good.
So I just didn't live tweet.
I'm sorry to the people who were tweeting at us that we, you know, you missed us.
We missed you.
But we'll be back next Monday.
And we're ready to give you our full thoughts about the episode because we're
fresh off of it. We just watched it on our way to the office back from the airport.
We landed. We got in the Uber. We put it on our phones. Now we're here with Trent. We're ready
to start. Let's begin. It's hometowns. We got a lot to talk about. Yeah, we really do. So like we
start at the beginning, go through each hometown date. It started Peter was still in Peru. I like that.
You know, he's getting into the vlogs. Yep. We haven't seen him blog. He started to vlog.
No, the first one. This is around the time we start doing that.
Yeah. I feel like Colton vlogged all the time.
I really thought he did one every week.
Yeah. Colton did it a lot.
It was just, it was too much.
I think now they're going to do it just every once in a lot.
Yeah, exactly.
But so Hannah Ann was the first hometown date.
They went to Knoxville, Tennessee.
She took Peter axe throwing, which was very funny because she walked up and was like, look, my dad likes tough guys.
It just, the way she said it made it seem like you're not tough and I need to make you tough.
Yeah, Hannah Ann looked at Peter and was like, you're kind of a little bitch.
You're too much of a little bit of a pansy.
Rick is not going to like that.
Ranger Rick is not going to prove.
Right.
It wasn't even like you're sort of close to Manly.
It's like you're not even in the same stratosphere as Manly.
So we're going to put a couple axes in your hand and like try to bang that out before you meet my terrifying dad, Rick.
I also kind of love Hannah Ann for this.
and she really has grown on me throughout the entire season.
And I read something, I don't know if this was something somebody sent me or if it was
from reality, Steve, I don't go on there, but people send it.
And they said that, or it was a theory, Hannah-Anne, like, stopped getting manipulated by producers.
Like, in the beginning, she was falling for it.
And then finally she realized that, okay, I now know what they're doing to me.
I'm not going to listen because think about it.
She was crazy in the beginning.
And then she was completely normal.
She got this bad reputation in the beginning.
but I like her.
Yeah, she was on the wrong side of Champagne Gate,
although we all agreed at the time that she had no idea what was actually happening.
But yeah, it does seem like she sort of grabbed control of her own destiny the rest of the way.
And she seemed relatively normal as opposed to the other girls in the house.
Right.
I agree.
I think the same thing has happened with Han and Kelsey, both of them together.
Like they kind of had these redemption kind of endings here.
But Hannah Ann, she's just,
And I don't know what, I think Han Ann's super sweet and they're cute, but as it continues, I just don't, I just don't see Hannah Ann and Peter like working.
Like, I don't, they don't have like, the chemistry is not there when I watch them.
Like, I feel like he's kissing his little sister.
Yeah.
And this is, you bring up, boy.
Listen, you bring up the kissing.
Now I'm never going to see them together ever again.
I'm going to see them that way going forward.
Like, I'm just like, oh.
I'm glad you brought it there because I thought.
about something when I was watching it.
And I was like, do I want to say this in the recap?
I'm not going to seem like a straight up freak, but I'm going to say it.
I noticed that Peter and Hannah Ann do not tongue kiss ever.
Ever.
It's only maybe Hannah Ann isn't a tongue kisser.
Just lip pecks?
Yeah.
Like it's just like constant pecking.
Like there's no making out.
I've caught on to it.
I don't know why because I think that Peter is making out with everyone.
and then he said Sydney was the best,
so I kind of started paying attention
to the way he kisses people.
And they just, you have to,
you'll see it this time around now when you watch.
Like, I need there to be tongue at some point
or else Fran is right, their brother and sister.
Because she's nice and it's cute and she is really young.
That's what it is to me, yeah.
So is Madison.
But I was going to say like the same age.
Bachelorette-wise, if Hannah-Anne-Anne wasn't so young,
she's the out of the group, she's the number one choice of if it's going to be one of Peter's
girls, Hannah Ann, but she is really young. You know what I mean? I don't know if they can keep
going with the really young, um, bachelettes. I mean, Hannah Brown was 24 when she was the
bachelor's, they got to switch it up. What's Hannah Ann 23? 23? I'm mad since 23 too, I think.
So now all I can think about is going back through and watching on the old episodes and watching them
kiss just to see if it's just pecks.
It's slow pecks.
And they're not even
that long. Like they're not
I don't, it's weird.
I know, but we're going to have to go back and review
the tape. Everyone go back,
review the tape. You'll start thinking about
it. And I don't want to call
them out for this.
But I have seen
no tongue. It seems like
they can have a relationship that would work if it
wasn't on the show. Like they're
cute together and if they had a longer period of
time to figure things out.
Maybe it could work.
I still think she's a little too young.
But they're sort of on the normal trajectory and when it's like you in this show,
you have to be ready to go now.
And they are definitely not ready for that.
Peter and Hannah Ann are like two people who started hooking up, started talking.
They're taking it slow.
Maybe they'll date one day.
That would be in the perfect world for them.
But that's not.
They've got eight weeks to figure it out.
Right.
And for somebody that got the first impression rose, it feels like she is kind of the farthest
behind.
their relationship is not anywhere near like, oh, they could totally get engaged right now.
Not even close.
I don't think so at all either.
But they go axe throwing and they, neither of them are really good at it.
Peter was really proud of splitting that piece of what.
Yeah.
And just not a manly person.
No.
No.
And they just went to, so they go to meet Hannah Ann's family and, you know, her parents, her sister.
And I loved Hannah Ann's sister because she.
just, I feel like she took advantage of the moment and was like, she gave a really good sister speech.
And I feel like she should be really proud of.
Like it was a really good bastard.
Like, you seem so happy.
I'm so happy for you.
They cry.
Like it's a beautiful sister moment.
Like she crushed that part.
Yeah.
She gave a great performance.
I want to give a shout out to Brett on Twitter who tweeted that she looked like she was from the hills.
Yeah.
Because I was watching it.
I was like, this seems like a conversation that's happening on.
MTV the Hills in
2005
whatever it was
and they're just crying
mainly because of her hair
but it was really it was really like
the whole her whole aesthetic was
but it was cute it was nice
yeah yes and then
Hannah Ann's dad was hilarious
so do you think that I was laughing
I was laughing
do you think it was edited that way where like he would just be
silent the whole time
it could have parts where he was silent they just
cut them together to make it seem like he sat there silent the entire time? Or do you think he
really sat there like, I hate this wimps, just pussy bitch, Peter? Both sides are believable, right?
Yeah, yeah. I could see The Bachelor cutting it all together, making it seem that way. But I could also
see you're bringing this guy's daughter back to him and it's a reality show when you've been together
for six weeks and he's definitely the guy, Pete, is going to say some things that he's not going to like.
Yeah. And it's like I probably, I could definitely see dads having that sort of reaction. He was just
so mad and at one point he said yeah this is all just so new and exciting and his face didn't
move at all it's like he hates every second this is like her like new and exciting relationship
I guess yeah yeah he I guess was hilarious I was he you know his wife is just like all right come
like Rick you just got it you got to talk to the cameras like I know this is a natural but like
you got to you know this is the role you're meant to play the dad that is not going to prove
of his daughter's boyfriend like just played it out he's like I
He's like, I was born to play his role because I'm furious at what's happening.
I was picturing what it was like for them to watch this back.
Like, if Rick was sitting there angry like he was in that show.
I can't, I just, I can't wrap my head around it because I guess this is just from my thinking.
I'm like, they don't have to get married, you know, Rick, take it easy.
Don't worry about it.
They're probably not going to end up staying together, you know?
Like, I'm just thinking about the past outcomes.
but maybe that's why Rick is.
I think that's why, no, but I think that's exactly why Rick was like,
don't tell Hannah and Ann that you love her.
Like, don't fuck with her head and say that you love her
when you probably love other girls or like might not end up with Hannah Ann.
Like, just keep that to yourself unless you know that you're definitely going to pick her.
That moment, I was like, that is a very real life dad moment.
Like, of her, like, I agreed with Rick there.
Yeah, totally.
You're correct, sir.
I was like, that's a fair, that's a fair ask to be like, hey, can you not tell my daughter that you're in love with her and then crush her heart into a billion pieces?
That was nice. What a nice dad.
It was nice, but then Peter did it anyway.
Our guy Pete, who looks at every scenario and says, what's the right thing to do here?
I'm going to do the complete opposite of that and goes against Rick's wishes and says, I'm falling in love with you.
You know, it's funny.
I did not give a fuck.
I sit here and still say that I like Peter because the mistakes, well, get to it at the end of the episode, but I'm too.
teetering.
Yeah, it's teetering.
It's quite hard to support him.
He's been doing a nice guy.
Yeah, he seems like a nice guy.
I like his decision making needs to be worked on.
I like him the person, but Peter the Bachelor is tough.
Peter the person is, I have a, seems, I mean, we met him.
He's a very sweet man.
But the way he's handling this situation is tough.
But Hannah Ann is full-blown in love with Peter.
She said it a billion times.
Like I said, I just don't see it with them.
There's no sparks.
I don't see the sparks.
No.
I don't know why.
I just don't see the sparks.
Yeah, I just think they're nice.
And like I said, it just made me like Hannah-Anne again.
Because I remember in the beginning, I was like, this bitch is crazy.
But like, I don't think she is.
I think she's nice and young.
A turn on Hannah-Anne-Anne.
She's so sweet and cute and says things like, oh, my word.
Yeah.
Oh, gosh.
Oh, my word.
When Peter gave her the, like, the letter back to her of all the things that he liked about her.
And she was like, oh, my word, I'm going to read this every morning and every night.
Yeah.
She's just, she's just.
That's just how she is.
Boy, he really did go against Rick, though, didn't he?
With the list.
Oh, he really did.
Like, don't reel my daughter in too much.
And then he's like, well, I made this huge list of things that I'm now going to read to her.
And said that I'm falling in love with her.
And Rick's like, well, that sucks.
That's not what I want.
Rick had to be anxious.
angry while watching that.
For sure.
Punching his TV.
Oh, yeah.
I told you not to say it, Peter.
There's definitely a safe full of guns somewhere.
Somewhere that he only knows the combination to.
Drinks a lot of whiskey probably.
Just a terrifying person.
I was actually, I was,
takes out the shotguns shoots his TV.
Yeah, yeah.
Probably sends it.
We probably put it up on Barstall Sports.
That would be a viral video.
The fact of his name is Rick is very funny.
I feel like you could do an impression of Rick.
I don't think I could because he didn't like talk enough.
He really didn't.
staring.
Yeah, he just, he just is like, well, yeah, that's it. Nailed it.
I did have a couple people to be like, oh, you're on the show again this week because I have
the same airline as a way.
I was just going to say that, but I don't want to be too mean.
But I was like, you kind of look like Rick.
That's okay.
But I don't, I don't think that's an insult.
He's an honorable man.
Yeah.
He did say a lot of truthful things, but Pete, again, just went against everything that he said.
Yep.
All right.
And then, Kelsey.
Yeah, let me go to Iowa.
One more thing of what I would say about Pete is like, if someone.
else does that, it's like, ooh, bad boy.
But Pete, it's just like, he's just rumbling and flumbling around.
Like, I don't know what I'm doing.
Yeah.
It's not hot.
There's a whole lot of, like, him being like, I hear you.
I hear that.
I hear that.
I just, like, I, like, every, to every dad, he's like, I appreciate that.
I really, and I hear you and I'm just really, like, following my heart.
And I also feel like, I do feel bad for him because it is a tough situation, right?
Like, he can't, when these dads are like, hey, can you tell me that it's my daughter
at the end?
And he's like, sir, I am.
I legally cannot do that.
Like, this is a shnick.
Like, we're on camera.
Like, we have to, I have to make this last for three more weeks.
I physically cannot say those words to you because I will get in trouble.
Right.
Like, he has to keep the other girls around.
He has no choice.
At this point, if he knew right then hometowns that, like, Madison was the girl that he
was picking at the end, no matter what, he has to straight up lie to all these other parents.
Like, he just has to.
It has no choice.
I've been saying all season there are no rules, and there aren't.
Yeah.
But there's a few rules in this situation where you do have to keep the show interesting.
Yeah.
Like the show can't end right now.
Like you have to make it to the finale, in which case you do have to string along women
that you might know that you already want to send home.
And you got to lie to their dads.
Yep.
And their mom.
Their mom's and their dads because clearly that's what happened with Kelsey.
I mean, we went to Iowa.
Shout out.
They made their own wine.
Yeah.
Are you guys a big wine state?
No.
No, we are not.
I was there for a long time, lived there for, boy, a good chunk of my life.
And yeah, we have wine there.
You know, squish great.
But it's nothing like, I would never be like, hey, come check out this winery that we have.
It's definitely not that.
It's like, I mean, I always talk about Casey's breakfast pizza.
We make pretty good whiskey.
There's a good whiskey that comes out of there.
But wine, not like a, not a well-known thing coming out of Des Moines, Iowa.
No.
Yeah.
Well, it was kind of a, it was kind of a boring date.
Yeah, real explored with a date.
Yeah.
I was going to say something before, but I never got to finish.
What was it?
I was going to say that I think that Peter is like, you know, when like there's hot guys that are just assholes.
You know what I mean?
That you're like, that guy's an asshole, but he's hot.
And that's why everyone's like, why do I always fall for the asshole?
Peter is not that kind of asshole.
You know what I mean?
His mistakes are not attractive.
No.
Like when you were talking about that before, that's why I was.
I see.
Yeah.
It's not calculated and it's not like.
Right.
Like it's not hot guy asshole.
It's just you're kind of an idiot and it's pretty unattractive.
I think that's accurate.
That is fair.
Yeah, the Kelsey Day wasn't, the biggest standout for me was that Pete tried crab rangering
for the first time.
Oh, true.
Yeah.
I've never had any.
What do you mean?
I know.
I know.
What do you mean by that?
I don't know why.
I was about to be real upset that Pete had never tried them, and now I've got a traitor in my midst.
Now you have somebody right in front of you.
I tried them for the first time a couple weeks ago.
I'm not really a fan.
I've had them before, like once or twice.
I have had crab rang goons more than anything in my life.
Really?
Just I love Chinese food and you always just put that on top of the order.
Do you think that they have good ones in New York?
Yeah.
Where?
Chinese food plays.
It's Chinese food.
And so just get it anywhere?
Oh, yeah.
You can get it.
Like when I order.
Chinese place that you order from.
Pick it, get it from it.
Just put it on top of the order. You get all your...
Hank loves them.
But I just feel like, and I'm not a picky eater.
I just feel like I never had...
Maybe I have and I just haven't really thought about it that much.
You get sesame chicken, you get some general soos.
And then at the end, you're like, oh, maybe I'll want a little bit more.
You toss on an order of crab rangoons and you're living.
Damn, maybe I'll get that time.
I've had so many crab rangoons in my life.
I can't explain to you how many of that.
So that was like a thing in Iowa.
Or not, it's just a thing in life.
No, I think it's just a Chinese food order.
You and Kelsey are meant to be.
I don't know.
Iowa.
I've done quite.
I did also another turn on Kelsey.
I feel like I like Kelsey.
Kelsey stayed true to herself.
She's emotional.
She owns it.
I like that she,
that like everything that they've had to do on the show kind of has revolved around
alcohol for her.
Like they kept alluding to wine.
Like, oh, this is a great date for us.
Wine.
We're drinking wine.
She loves wine.
I love wine. That's great.
She's just known as the wine girl.
That's not bad. That's not bad.
No, it's not.
I feel like, you know, it's the easiest way to have a non-awkward time when most things are pretty awkward on The Bachelor.
I feel like you kind of need to have a little bit of alcohol in the mix to get things going.
Right.
If you do drink.
Right.
For sure.
Out of these four women that are left, Kelsey was probably the most ready to like legit get married and therefore she is sent.
I saw the spark between them too.
I really liked them.
I was like, oh, they, Peter really likes Kelsey?
Yeah.
What happened?
Yes.
I mean, they could have worked, I thought.
Kelsey really pushed through the wire here.
I mean, you get it at the beginning, like Champagne Gate, obviously the famous gift now that will be part of her legacy forever.
But it is, like it seemed like at the beginning of the producer was trying to figure out who was going to be the crazy girl who was going to.
So they just made everyone.
So they made it everybody.
and hoped it would work.
It didn't work with Hannah-Anne.
It didn't work with Kelsey.
And like you said, Fran, it's just like she had a turnaround where she's like,
I'm just a normal person.
Like legit role wants to get married.
The date they had in Cleveland, super normal.
Yep.
The date they had in Des Moines, very normal.
And again, when you're normal in this show, not exciting enough for Pete.
It does not work to your benefit, unfortunately.
That's just not enough tears.
She didn't cry.
No.
And she just like very openly discussed her feelings and talked about being in love with him.
And that just didn't cut it.
And her family was normal.
Normal family.
Her stepdad was so sweet.
I thought her stepdad was so cute asking her all,
like these very thoughtful questions and her sisters.
And it looks like they had a very normal hometown in Iowa.
And therefore, Sianara.
Peter was out.
Exactly.
So then Madison.
They went to Auburn.
She is, I mean, clearly like they live on campus, I guess.
I don't really know.
but they live close enough to campus where her, like, life is on campus because they met on campus.
Much more involved with Auburn than I first anticipated.
Like, they got Charles Barkley at the beginning.
That was unbelievable.
That's Charles Barkley up on the Jumbo Trond.
And then Bruce Pearl comes out of nowhere.
It was so funny.
It was just, yeah, I knew like that part of the opening package for Madison was like, oh, her dad's a basketball coach and like this and that.
But she is like, they're ingrained in Auburn.
Yeah, it's Bruce Pearl's like second man.
His trusty sidekick
Her dad just has that trusty sidekick look
I feel like
It's the bangs
Like he doesn't have the look of the main guy
He doesn't have the look of the main guy
If you're going to cast a movie
And you have like the superhero
And then his partner
He's probably the partner
He's Robin.
Seemed like a very sweet man
Having Bruce Pearl involved with the date
Was very like
Everything about that was funny
Charles Barkley
And then Peter being like
Well Charles
Barclay said that I can't hurt Madison.
So it was just all around entertaining.
Peter's not a good basketball player.
Yeah, I saw Pete catching some heat on the internet about his basketball skills.
I couldn't do those things that they were doing.
Bouncing the two balls, you know, criss-crossing it.
Boy, do I not sound like the person knows anything about sports.
I do know some things about sports, but he was, I think that would have been hard.
I think that would, Madison's really good at it.
Yeah, Madison's good.
She's played her whole life.
Right.
Peter is just not that athletic and we need to accept it.
Do you notice how tight his jeans were on this date?
No, I didn't notice that.
His jeans were so tight.
Like, when they put the basketball jerseys on and it was just the loose basketball jersey
and the skinny jeans, I was just like, oh, no.
Like, his jeans were incredibly tight.
I don't know why.
They really were.
But he did hit the one-handed shot.
Told you guys.
Was it last episode of the episode?
before last episode um i said this i called jed winning from this shot where he wasn't looking he made
it in i was like that's a sign he's the winner once again madison the winner from from what i gather
right could but it could still not be true no i know but i'm gonna stick with that thought because i
had it last time and i feel like i'd be going against myself and everybody's been telling me to
stay true to myself lately so i'm gonna stay true to that i'm saying stay true yourself yeah because of the
whole, the whole beaver thing.
I got upset last podcast and people were like,
Rhea, stay true to yourself.
And I was like, fuck you know what I will.
Yeah, so I'm going to stay true to myself.
I'm going to say that basketball shot means something.
I don't know what it is.
Basketball, it's magic, you know.
Just the telltale sign.
It's, uh, what is, what am I thinking of?
Well, I'm thinking of space jam now.
I think I was thinking of love and basketball.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's just, there's something about basketball, I guess.
I don't know.
I'm not really a big basketball fan.
You just say that because of love and basketball, just the combination of the two and the title.
Ria, that is definitely the title of that movie.
There's just no doubt about it.
Love and basketball.
I mean, they go together.
Just like, have you heard of that movie?
Let me ask you of this.
Have you seen that movie?
No.
Okay.
It definitely popped into her head because it was an option on our Delta flight.
Yep, that's why.
I will tell you right now.
it's an option if you're flying Delta
No, it popped in my head because
And I scrolled past it multiple times
Madison and Pete scream love and there is basketball
Seeing your brain go
All right, love and basketball, it's a movie
But I don't know anything about it
So we'll just go to space jam
Was just quite a moment
Well, that's why I was like
Well, now I'm thinking about space jam
Because I don't want to talk about love and basketball
Because I don't even know what it's about
Love and Basketball
So there you go
This episode should be called Love and Basketball
And just like Jed and Hannah
Love and basketball besides when Jed has a girlfriend and they end up in a terrible breakup.
And Madison's a virgin. So what it comes to is I think that Madison is perfect besides the fact that she's virgin.
So maybe the basketball shot is that.
But I mean in terms of the show.
And the chance is told him.
Maybe maybe the basketball shot is a sign that it actually is going to go to absolute shit.
You know?
Like Jed won, but then it was an absolute disaster.
like Madison could go far
but then it's going to be an absolute disaster
You would still technically be right
Oh no, absolutely
But they just coincide like the backer of the producers
are listening to the show and there's no happy couple
At the end of the basketball
Yeah called the basketball shot last time
It turned out to be a disaster
Now we're going to throw it out there
You don't get the happy ending
Easter egg
Yep
Could be
It's very possible
So they had dinner
It was very sweet
Madison's family super cute
They had the special play
where they all said something nice about this special plate for a second.
They all have to say something nice about that you as a special plate.
Imagine growing up in a house where you have a special plate and you have to go around and say something nice about that person every single night.
Every single night at my family dinners, me and my siblings fought.
Yeah.
But out of love.
Like funny.
You know what I mean?
Like just it wasn't ever serious.
But like there was never a time where we sat around and we were like, you know what?
you are just so inspiring and I love you sis and I wouldn't be here without you never no yeah it's a nice moment but it just filled me with anxiety just thinking about sitting at that table and it's like when you first day of a class and they're like all right we're just going to go around say your name and something that people don't know about you it's like well that's that sounds horrifying it is and then I have to do that ice breakers I would yeah I would so a family of five like eventually you're going to run out of something to say about your siblings I would prefer to do that I would prefer to you
the class scenario as opposed to doing
with my own family. I don't know why.
It just seems like, yeah, it's
a weird, it's very nice, but
my family never did anything of the sort.
Great for them. Yeah.
But are they ever going to be honest with each other?
I think at a certain point. You know, like, you
I think that is, you're a bitch last night.
I think that is, I think that is, I think that is.
It starts out a nice thing and that it's just war.
I don't think they're, like, mean to each other is the thing.
Just like the way they interact, they probably don't even have those problems.
I also picture, like, uh, you,
You would run out of things to say.
Like, I grew up Catholic and you would go to confessional.
Yeah.
And you just wouldn't have something that week.
You make it up.
You just make stuff up.
Lies my parents.
That's what they eventually had to start doing with the special point.
And then you got to go back to say that you lied about lying.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Cheated on my test.
Catholicism.
I said a few curse words.
That was always a good one.
I threw, yeah, you know, I stayed out too late or something.
I broke curfew.
I don't know.
Okay.
So they have this nice dinner.
Peter talks, you know, the whole family.
Madison's talking to her.
her mom and her mom's like, you know, have you told him about the life that you, you know,
want to live and with the plans you have for your relationship?
And let me tell you, I understand that this is a family that their faith is very important
to them and it's all something that they discuss together.
But hearing Madison's parents just like tiptoe around talking about Madison's
virginity made me very uncomfortable.
Like both of them are just like, I mean, come on, you're not having sex.
Have you told them?
Like, I'm like, ugh.
Like, when Madison's dad said she's so pure, I was like, oh, my God.
I don't like this.
Listen, I don't want, I don't know how I feel about this because I just would prefer to not
talk about, like, I just don't want to talk about my sex life with my parents.
With my dad specifically.
You know what I mean?
Like, he doesn't have to know.
He knows.
And he doesn't have to know.
She doesn't have a sex life, so it's fine.
I feel like, if there's no sex to talk about.
Right.
Relationship with your mom is a little different.
Like, girl-wise, you have to, you know, you've got to learn somehow.
Sure.
Like, when you're younger.
So it's a little different.
But just the fact that it just made me uncomfortable the way they were wording it too.
Right.
You know, it just seemed, I felt like I.
They felt uncomfortable talking about it.
I felt like I was overstepping my boundaries listening to their conversation.
Like, I had just.
walked in on Madison naked.
Like that's how I felt.
I was like,
oh my God,
cover my ears.
Like,
this is so intimate.
Like,
they couldn't just be like,
yeah,
you know,
haven't had sex.
I'm saving myself for marriage.
It's deep.
Like,
you could tell she really,
really cares about it.
Which I get,
like,
some people have those beliefs.
And that's totally fine.
Respect it.
Not for me because I need to know
what we're working with.
Okay.
And Peter.
Now,
Now I feel like Madison's family.
I feel like Madison's family now.
We're talking about real sex life.
Yep.
I now know how they felt in that episode.
I didn't mean that, guys.
I didn't mean that.
But seriously, like, whatever.
Anyways.
Got to check the equipment.
You got to check it out.
Make sure everything's working great.
How are you doing?
What if you end up marrying somebody?
Stay quiet.
And then you have sex with them.
You're like, this is terrible.
Yeah.
I guess you can both learn.
But anyways, what were we talking about?
What I would say is,
Madison's saving yourself.
I would imagine.
I feel like the parents were probably just as uncomfortable with what you guys were saying.
Yeah.
But it is a narrative on the show where they were probably like, you guys got to talk about it a little bit.
It's crazy that she hasn't told him yet.
I think it's crazy.
I have decided that this is like a plan thing.
I really love Madison.
I think she's such a sweet girl.
I think she's perfect.
She's like great at basketball.
She's athletic.
She's so cool.
Yeah.
And she has everything going for her.
But Peter is a horny little man.
He is, he is.
we talked about it.
Windmill, we know.
He's going to have sex with one of these other girls.
He loves sex.
How is this man going to wait until marriage?
He can't.
That's why I think that this whole fucking thing was just playing from the beginning
or something where the producers or whoever said to Madison
that she had to keep this secret or stuff.
Because when have we ever had a season where, you know,
we've had a lot of versions.
on this show and never once have they waited to the fantasy suites to say that they are a virgin.
It's usually, that's usually like a first night thing.
Like, I'm the virgin this season.
Right, exactly.
It's either that.
And they're like, okay, that's what I'm thinking.
They're like, all right, Peter loves sex.
They're like, Peter is going to get down and dirty and he's going to like this girl.
And she does, she's not having sex.
So she gets married.
Like, what do we do?
What do we do?
Like, I don't know.
Or not.
Or Madison really just didn't.
Madison really just doesn't tell him to the fantasy suites.
And if that's the case where that was totally her decision,
that's a pretty shitty thing to do.
Yeah, I agree.
I think that if we watch the show without thinking about the producers,
which I used to do,
and now I can't.
Like, the producers are always in the back of my head.
I would say, like, wow, that is fucked up of Madison.
To just not say anything.
And then apparently gives him this big ultimatum.
Peter is.
Yeah.
And yet she's going to wait until the fantasy suites with a fantasy suites to be like,
I'm waiting until marriage.
You made it all the way to the end.
And you're telling you to lock it up or else I'm walking.
Right.
And that's just like,
lock it up.
Lock it up.
Exremely.
Zip up those pants.
Put a padlock on it.
Extremely bold move.
Yeah.
Do you think she's told no one?
Like, did any of the girls?
No.
And I feel like the other girls know because remember there's the other girls like Kelsey
in that one moment was like Madison has some decisions that she's made for her life,
that she hasn't told Peter that she needs.
to tell Peter and then they and she was like and they might not agree on those things and that could
be a problem.
That's stunning to me because they definitely won't agree on this.
I know.
I think like if I was a girl and Madison, if I was a girl in the house and Madison told me
that she was a virgin and she hadn't told Pete, then I used that information to my own benefit.
I don't know if you tell Pete, but it's like it's crazy that because there have been instances
during the season where girls are like ratting on each other and they're saying like, oh,
this girl's not who she is to you when she's left.
Nobody rated about her.
Obviously, that's a different thing.
And you don't want to be, like, telling someone that they're a virgin to the person when they haven't told them themselves.
But it does seem like...
But not even to the camera.
Like, not even interviews, which is normally something that happens.
Like, oh, Madison's a virgin.
Let's see what happens.
Nobody even, nobody's said anything like that.
They had to just cut that stuff.
Yeah, it's must up.
Yeah.
I can't decide if I think it's a plan and they knew this was going to happen.
She's going to make it to the end and it's going to break Peter's heart and this whole thing.
or she really
She really just didn't tell him
And in that case
That's fucked
Yeah
I feel like Peter really got handed
The shit end of the deal
In this whole situation
He really did
He really did
This is an unfortunate situation
That's about to
unfold on this show
The end so the end of the day
He's in love with her
Oh yeah
As he has and he's straight up
Is telling her like
I am falling for you
head over heels.
Madison is so clearly the one he wants to be with at the end.
Like even in the basketball date,
his face just lights up talking about her.
And that doesn't happen when he talks about the other girls.
Like he talks about Madison in a totally different way.
And he is like, she hasn't, I feel like she hasn't really, like, said all those things.
But he's saying it to her.
So it's very intense.
but and she didn't say she was like
like he was saying it
she wasn't really saying she was in love
with him but I think it's because she's nervous
because she knows what she's holding on to
her virginity and Peter's not going to like that
and she did that at that one dinner
dance around it a lot being like my faith
is very important to me Pete just wasn't
picking up those like yeah I gotta go to church
he's like yeah all right yeah I'll go to church one
he's like that's something I can work on
yeah she just didn't say it that was the moment to say it
yeah it was probably too late still
but now we're just
were in it.
I don't know how she didn't say it.
Like that was the moment to say it for sure, but that didn't happen.
It's still a secret.
Victoria F., her hometown, just basically never really happened.
I mean, they had their day date in Virginia Beach.
They took old-timey photos.
They were on the beach with their dog.
And they, you know, Hunter Hayes performed.
They love bringing out.
I think at this point, like, are the producers just like,
let's bring out another country artist maybe
Victoria slept with this one too
could be we're in Virginia Beach I was excited
I saw this on Twitter when it was happening
and I was like did Victoria F fuck Hunter Hayes
because I thought that happened
I was like that would be incredible not the case
perfect song for them to sing yeah they signed together
I was laughing I was laughing when Peter was like
Hell yeah I love him I was like oh no
again it was like the same Chase Rice
Wright yeah he's gonna be on my way
she knows all the words
this is crazy oh my gosh
And then Marissa shows up.
So that's Peter's X from a few years ago.
They were amicable.
Nothing, you know, he was nice.
Nothing really bad happened.
And her face is blurred.
I think it's hilarious.
I love the drama of blurring her face.
Distorted or is that actually?
Face was blurred, but the voice was the same.
And they continued to say her name over and over and over.
Yeah.
They blurred it straight up for dramatics because like Marissa was on her Instagram posting about like her being on the episode.
Like her, it looked like her whole family had.
watch party, like of her, like, of her, of them watching this episode?
I think they did that on purpose.
I just think that was for dramatic effect.
Yeah, it's like.
Like, that wasn't for legal purposes.
That was like for dramatic effect.
Because this girl's face has been all over the place.
We talked about on the last podcast.
Like, there's a whole Us Weekly article about her.
Like, she's, I mean, she's getting her.
She's getting her five seconds.
Yeah.
Without.
You know, she's not getting as much face.
I'm as luggage guy trying over here.
Yeah.
They didn't blur my face.
No.
No, just straight up.
I lure her face.
But she has.
had some news for Peter.
It was, like,
oh, hey,
you're here.
Peter definitely seems like the kind of guy who is definitely
like friendly with all of his exes.
For sure.
That's what the vibe I get is.
For sure.
They're friends.
Yeah, most people that ends up blow up World War III and you just like can't
talk to that person ever again. Pete's like, we're best friends.
We go shopping together.
So I'll trend.
This like background,
they dated for like five months.
Okay.
In like college, I think, or maybe around college time.
Not that serious.
2012, it said, and he's 28, so, like, 20, 21, not serious at all, which makes me think that
they were maybe just like that super casual boy that you kind of hook up with for a few months,
and then you're like, ah, this isn't really going to be like a serious thing, but we're cool.
Yeah, we're friends.
When we see each other, we'll say hi.
She said that they had stayed friends afterwards until they had both gone into, like, different
relationships and then things kind of, like, they kind of stopped being friends.
but she was living in California,
but she's originally from Virginia Beach,
and she moved back to Virginia Beach
and basically ran in the same social circles as Victoria.
She said that.
She said that.
She was like,
my friends are friends with her,
pretty much,
and that they don't get along.
And they used to be friends.
Yeah.
And now they don't get along.
She said that she has ruined relationships of her friends.
The fame's gone to her head too.
And Peter didn't really know what to do with this information.
He was, of course, his face was.
I wish most of all.
I was a little like, I wish Marissa just fucking gave all the details, all of them.
Just be careful.
I hate when people say that shit.
I'm sorry.
I fucking hate that.
Be careful.
If I was here, I would tell me.
Tell me exactly why I need to be careful.
Right.
Now I'm going to be, I'm going to be paranoid about everything.
Yeah.
I need to specifics.
I hate that.
That's all I'm going to say.
Yeah.
Right.
People think they're being cool and like, coy when they're like, that's all I'm going to say.
Just do the full snitch.
If you're going to say, yeah, don't have snitch.
It's annoying.
For sure.
Yeah.
What I was going to say is like we knew we've heard these rumors obviously.
Yeah.
As it sees something going along,
I didn't necessarily expect them to address it on the show.
Yeah,
which is kind of amazing.
Yeah.
They're like,
we're hearing all these rumors.
Obviously,
they must have heard them during filming.
Yep.
And we're like,
it's,
there's enough smoke that we're going to bring in Peter's ex-girlfriend,
blur her face,
say her name repeatedly.
Yep.
Not distort her voice.
And then just sort of like,
you know,
let's at least make this part of the Victorian narrative on the show.
I thought that was interesting.
Amazing work.
Yeah.
Amazing work.
That's them.
seeing that every, you know, major publication published a story about Victoria F being a homewrecker.
And they're like, all right, let's, let's tie this into an episode somehow.
100%.
And so, you know, Marissa tells Peter this information.
Be careful that she's ruined relationships.
And Peter goes to Victoria F.
This is before they're going into her house.
And he started the conversation in like the best way possible.
Like I thought he was calm, collected, just wanted to have a civil conversation, and it's just impossible for her to do that.
Impossible.
She can't do it.
Oh, I loathe her.
I really loathe her.
As soon as she started talking, I was like, oh, my God.
This human being really speaks this way towards somebody who he's the bachelor.
So he's kind of in charge here.
Sorry, that's just the way it rules.
If it's the Bachelorette, the Bachelorette's in charge.
So he leads the conversation.
If he says to you, hey, I heard that you ruined multiple relationships.
And I'm about to go inside and meet your family.
Can you maybe tell me that's not true or tell me what's going on?
Just elaborate, please.
She refused to say.
First of all, she didn't say anything.
She didn't say anything.
She didn't give Jackson.
She barely denied it.
She was like, oh, she said that.
And then started crying all of a sudden, blamed it on Peter and said, how could you do this?
You're about to meet my family.
Bitch, what are you saying?
you're crazy.
Like you are out of your mind to take this situation and flip it and make it about Peter
doing something wrong to you.
Because you,
like how could you say bring this up right now when you're coming in to meet my family?
What do you?
What is going on?
I thought I was losing my mind watching.
And that's the reaction of a guilty person.
Yeah.
If you haven't done these things, if you haven't broken up these relationships, you go,
that's not true.
Let's go eat dinner with my family.
Instead, she's like, how dare you?
And at one point, she's like, why are you taking Marissa's side?
He's like, I haven't taken a side.
I'm just presenting the information that I have.
And your reaction tells me that you have broken up multiple relationships.
And he said, like, are you kidding me?
Like, multiple times.
It's just, and I also loved how she so clearly knew exactly who Marissa was.
Like, they totally do know each other.
Like, said Marissa by name.
And then after she, like, threw shade at her and was like, why would you listen to that
stupid girl?
Like, clearly they do not get along.
And you could see in her eyes be like, I'm taking down.
Marissa.
Right.
And bringing up the fact that, you know, you're taking Marissa's sides.
So in her head, there's already sides, you know?
So that means in real life, they're sides.
Yep.
Some shit happened for sure, obviously.
We know that.
But by her reaction, like you said, Trent, any other normal person who didn't do those
things would be like, Peter, this is crazy.
That girl's crazy.
What are you talking about?
I didn't do that.
No way I did that.
She got up and started being like, and then Peter's like, you haven't fought for
anything.
She was like, you really think that.
You really think that.
And then Peter, and Peter's like, yeah, I really think that.
And she's like, then why are you, she's like, then why are you still here?
Why are you still here?
Why are you still here, Peter?
You clearly don't want to be on this show.
She was so mean.
She looks for any reason to, if something just slightly, you know, there's just like a little
pushback.
You know, we need to talk about things happens at a relationship.
She goes off the hinges.
Is that a, is that it?
Yeah.
Hinges, whatever.
She goes off them.
The hinges are off.
The door is completely on the ground.
It flew off and she's lost it.
Like she, it's very clear that she's not a good person and I really don't like her.
Oh, when she said, she said to him, like he was like, you know, you're, you don't talk things out.
Like, you're, you're always running.
Like, it just feels like you're, you so easily could give up on all this.
She's like, well, if I give up so easily, like, why are you so willing to stay?
And I was just like, are you kidding?
What?
What kind of question is that?
Why are you so willing to say?
He likes you.
Like, you don't be dumb.
Like, I don't like that when you play like the victim card when you started the fight to begin with.
Right.
And then Peter ends up apologizing.
And I can't believe we got here.
You were supposed to be my family tonight.
I can't believe we got here with my family tonight.
Him apologizing is crazy.
Yeah.
The fact is.
that that's where you start to be like, we all like Pete as a person. He seems like a nice guy.
But when he goes up to her and is like, oh, I'm sorry that if you thought that I initially
was on Marissa's side of this, it's like, dude, you got to have a spine at some point and be like,
I'm hearing these things. I'm not going to meet someone's family while having this in the back
of my head. I need to clear this before we go in. And your reaction is not giving me the best
vibe. She didn't even, um, there was just no explanation at all, really, at least,
We didn't see one.
They don't meet her family.
Like he goes home.
Like they just leave.
It's just over.
And, you know, her parents come outside.
She's sobbing.
And then it's like the classic next day hotel room visit where she like opens door and is like,
hi.
Like are we, can we talk?
They don't even really talk about it.
And they didn't talk about it then either.
No.
Like it was just like no.
No resolution at all.
Like that's where when she walks in,
And you're like, all right, let's talk about these potential relationships that you have ruined.
And they don't talk about it at all.
Nothing.
Not even a little bit.
It was, it was crazy.
Crazy.
Rhea hates Victoria F.
I really do.
I really do.
I just, I, I'm honestly sick about Peter picking Victoria and sending Kelsey home.
I'm sick about it.
Yeah.
Although, I understand for the show, he wanted her for the fantasy sweets.
And.
Peter's thinking with
he's thinking with his dick
and for sure
that's why Madison's going to be a problem
yep big problem
yep can't be thinking with the peepee when Madison's
no a VV
yeah yeah the
yeah the more you think about it
like why would he pick Victoria F over Kelsey
and the only conclusion
you can come to is that he's like I've been dealing with
Victoria F for however long we've been shooting
this show yeah and she is
incredibly attractive and now I
guess we're one week away from the fantasy suites.
So, all right.
I'm horny Peter, so I'm going to have sex with her.
And then, you know.
Peace out.
Yeah.
That sounds, that's shitty.
But like,
I'm going to bang her because I'm not going to pick her anyway.
I'm not going to pick Kelsey, but I want to bang.
He wants to pick Madison.
I want to bang Victoria more than Kelsey.
So I'll have Victoria come.
We'll do that.
I won't pick her.
Right.
Victoria's probably fine with that.
She seems like she likes having sex and having no relationship.
So he so clearly wants to pick Madison.
And so it's like so clear that the other girls, he's like,
oh, well, they're, you know, they're hot.
I know.
And this is all a legend, but it seems pretty clear.
Not that Kelsey's not.
Kelsey's beautiful.
It's just like, but he really, I feel like he wanted to almost get rid of the girls
who were more driven to actually get engaged and be married and just like kind of get
them out of the way.
So that's, he doesn't have to worry about that.
I think that's pretty accurate.
Because he's just one's Madison and then Kelsey's still.
Him, at the time when I was watching it live, I couldn't believe the Victoria F thing.
But then the more I thought about it.
Live, did you think that he was going to send Victoria F home?
Because we didn't get to have really that moment.
Because obviously watching it, we already knew that she was being sent home.
I don't know if I thought definitively that he was going to send Kelsey home, but I was
certainly rooting for him to keep Kelsey.
And that was, I hadn't even thought about what's actually going to happen.
I was the only thinking about what I wanted to happen.
and I wanted Victoria F to go home,
and then it just didn't happen that way at all.
Kelsey goes home,
and we've got to deal with Victoria F still.
Poor Kelsey.
She handled it well.
So now I think what's going to happen is
Peter's going to bang Victoria F, right?
Right.
I'm not 100% locked in if he's going to have sex with Hannah Ann.
I feel like she's kind of innocent,
but could probably potentially.
She's not a virgin.
As far as we know,
as we know, it could be.
But maybe.
And then,
Madison is obviously going to tell him
and she's going to say if you had sex with anybody else
I can't continue and then Peter's going to have to tell
Madison I fucked Victoria
it happened and then
chaos is going to happen and I don't
think we have any idea where Peter stands right now in his life
as of February 19th
Yeah
What do we think Pete's initial reaction is going to be when Madison says
I'm a virgin?
Like, because that's, that's a big moment.
That's a big moment on how you're acting.
Okay.
Because he can't be like, see ya.
Like, I'm Pete.
Well, his boner's going to go away.
He's, he's going to have to say something.
Well, we saw at the end, at the end, after he says Kelsey Holmni, he goes back.
And Madison runs after him and is like, can I talk to you for a second?
So I'm really curious about the timeline that we're getting here.
Like, is he, is Madison going to tell Peter right then about the fair?
fantasy sweet situation like or she just going to be like I'm nervous about the fantasy sweets I have
something I need to talk to you it's serious on that date you know because it's like because then
it's also a weird setup they're doing it different this year because let's you know burn something
that's already in flames they all the girls are staying together the normally fantasy sweets
like everybody is in their own right secluded spot like they're not so like all three girls are
together, which is why you're seeing all these conversations of them talking about it.
And Madison talking about him, you know, having sex with other people.
And Victoria is like, you gave him an ultimate, you know, she's giving him an ultimatum.
That's not fair.
So.
Yeah, Victoria, you don't, you don't get to speak about anything right now.
It's just like, it's just going to make it even more dramatic.
And then, of course, obviously they'll make, they'll have Peter have the two fantasy
sweet dates with the other girls first.
so that Madison's last
so that Madison when she's like
well did you have sex with anybody
and he's going to be like yeah
and she's I don't know
she's probably going to walk I don't know
I think she's definitely going to wait
to tell him on the date right
I I know
I don't think so
because why would Victoria F be saying
like she gave him an ultimatum
because I feel like he she's going to be like
I don't know if I can continue
doing this if you sleep with other
people and he's not going to be able to control himself and he's going to sleep with other people
anyway.
I was thinking if she told him before, then he then clearly has a decision to make whether he
sleeps with the other girls or not.
He still does it.
Either way he's sleeping with the other girls, it just, if it's before or after.
There's just levels of betrayal.
Wouldn't it be a shock if he just doesn't sleep with any of the other girls?
Stunning.
It would be stunning.
That would be the biggest shock of the whole season.
I do like the way he worried.
He was like, I have.
have been intimate with another woman or whatever he said.
It means definitely sleeping with Victoria F.
Right.
But there's the only reason she's still here.
I'm sorry, but that's true.
Like there's no redeeming qualities I've seen of her in her personality so far.
Yep.
Didn't even meet the family.
No.
Didn't even meet the family.
The clip at the end was pretty funny of that, like, a Victoria Fav's family just sitting
in their living room, like, are they going to come inside anytime sooner?
of just sitting around.
And that is so true.
Poor Kelsey's family.
And also just like, poor Kelsey.
Like, Kelsey hasn't seen any of this.
Imagine being Kelsey watching this back and you're like, they had that fight.
They didn't even go into Victoria's house.
And he still sent me home?
That's, that's, I'd be furious if I was certain.
I hope she says it to him at the women tell all.
Didn't even make it through the front door.
And he's still like, yeah, Victoria, you get this rose.
I'm still replaying all the things.
Victoria F was saying to him in my brain because, like he said, we had just watched the episode.
And it was really, it was really unbelievable.
What do you want to talk about, Peter?
Like, what do you even, what do you even want to talk about?
I couldn't believe the way she was acting.
I, I, I can, does she watch that back?
And she's like, yeah, I was right.
Because that's crazy.
I'm going to say yes.
I think she does.
And the craziest thing is the people that are like friends with her on, you know what I mean?
Right.
with other girls on Instagram.
They all seem to be her friends.
They all seem to be friends with her.
So I propose the question.
Maybe she's a good girlfriend, but just a real bad,
like a good friend of girls.
Well, no, if she's sleeping with her friends,
boyfriends.
That's true.
She is doing that.
I don't want that as my friend.
I don't want her anywhere near as my friend.
That slipped my mind for a second.
That is true.
But maybe because the other girls on the show were all single,
they're like,
gosh, she's not sleeping with my husband.
Until they get one.
And she's hanging around.
Yeah.
And then anything can happen.
You never know.
You never know.
But fantasy sweets is going to be a wild ride.
Wild.
I don't know what's going to.
I don't know.
I think we know some version.
Like we've sort of predicted a version of what's going to happen.
But there's going to be some wrinkles that we just don't see going.
Exactly.
Exactly.
There's some turns that I don't think we're expecting.
But I do think it is now.
lock that
Peter's mom was talking about Madison.
Yeah.
Go gather.
Couldn't be about anybody else.
Certainly not Victoria F.
Not hand-hand.
There's just not enough of...
No.
It's definitely Madison.
Oh, Victoria F.
We knew that she was going to be
like a dislike person on the show,
but she is just really...
I don't think she was going to make it this far.
No, I didn't either.
No, it's rivaling
like Courtney territory.
I know Ben Flagenic,
whatever the heck his name is.
Remember when he...
Did you watch Ben's floppy hair, Ben's season, long hair?
No, I don't think I was in yet.
Okay, well, he proposed, like, to the villain.
Like, everybody hated her.
Yeah.
And she had a pretty solid go for, like, the next few years after that.
She wrote a book that I read.
So, you know, man, who knows what could be in store for Victoria?
It's also, like, remember Luke Pee made it really far.
We were, like, how was he making it this far?
Oh, yeah, Luke P, too.
That was strange.
He made his hometowns.
He made his hometowns, right?
And Luke P has just wonderfully disappeared from all of our lives.
Smart.
That's how that goes.
I was going to ask where I don't know.
That's not how it's going to go with her.
That is not how Victoria is going to go.
No, it is definitely not.
But, you know, that happened very nicely.
It did.
He just kind of.
Disappeared.
Floated away.
In the shower.
Back to Jesus.
Thinking about Jesus.
I wonder if he's had sex.
Probably not, right?
Because if you make that big of a scene about that on the show, you got to like stick
to yourself, huh?
He could be married by now.
I actually do think he might have a girlfriend.
That's a guess.
I don't know.
Interesting.
I feel like I saw, you know, I feel like I saw one fan out there had to be crazy enough to
I feel like I saw an Instagram somewhere down the line of him with a lady friend.
Okay.
Well, that's nice.
All right.
I think that's it.
Any final thoughts?
No, I'm really excited for next week.
Okay.
Trent?
No, I got nothing.
Yeah, I'm excited as well.
All right, that wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office.
We hope you have a fantastic weekend.
We hope you enjoyed the episode.
Just a reminder.
new merch on sale. You can go to the link in the description, check it out. Also send us some new
things you maybe want to see in the store. We'll work on some stuff. And like I said, have a great
weekend. We love you guys. We could take it to the day and I saw you on your way to this. Take it to the
time. It's time to grow. I get out of control when I'm alone. If you can make it with me,
you can make it on your own. So with the bullshit and playing on my phone. We just need some time.
Keep watching
Let it all unwind
You get yours
Of course I get mine
And everything will be fine
It's by the sign
Well, I'm tripped
But I slip off off
Sleep all day
Maybe miss your calls
Like I've been missing you
Still I continue tired up
And tripping
I'm making the brunches
This and you're sick of it all
But don't leave me
Don't leave me
Because it feel too good to be easy
Yeah
But now shit
I'll probably make it better
When you see me
