Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners.
You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube.
Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music.
What's up, everyone?
It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Wednesday.
We are back with another Bachelor recap.
We have Trent in the building.
We got Francesca Mariana.
We got Noah Ives.
We got the entire squad here ready to talk about The Bachelor.
We're here.
First and last names.
Government names.
Government names.
I don't think my last name has ever been said on this podcast.
Not sure it has either.
It just came over me.
I feel like maybe it has when we talked about how much we loved your mom.
I don't think so.
Why would you have said that?
Oh, Mrs. I, like Mrs. Ives.
Like Mrs. I was awesome and hot.
Yep, she is.
Is that, I'm allowed to say it.
It's not trying to say it.
I'm saying it.
She'll be happy.
Yeah.
Anyways, Bachelor recap time.
It was back Monday night.
Before we get into the recap, though, I want to talk about Clayton's tweets last night because he was really responding to a lot of people on Twitter.
He responded to Trent. He responded to me. And I think we got an answer about my theory.
I don't think we did. No, I don't think we did. I don't think we did. You guys don't think so?
No, like there's no way he's giving out that information.
He also tweeted out a notes app this morning about the Elizabeth situation. Yeah, he did. He's really, I don't know.
He's communicating well with the bachelor world.
And that's what I was going to say.
I was wondering if we've ever had a bachelor or a bachelorette who's done this.
Usually they comment here and there, but they stay behind the scenes and they don't comment on too much.
He's doing the opposite.
He doesn't really know how to use Twitter.
Like, he's never really used Twitter before.
So I feel like now he's just in on Twitter.
So he wants to talk to everybody on Twitter.
I would also agree that he doesn't know how to use Twitter because people think he's flirting with me with his emoji use when I think he's just throwing emojis in for no reason.
Right.
So I tweeted because on his one word.
we're fast-horing a little bit, but on his one-on-one day with Rachel,
he said to Rachel, like, you know, you're beautiful, smart, whatever.
Why?
How could you possibly be saying?
How are you here?
Hate that question.
I hate when people say that.
I tweeted, hey, Clinton, why aren't you taken?
I hate when people ask that.
He quoted in, wrote, Ria, are we fighting?
Remember that one time we laughed together?
I don't care about that.
I said, don't respond to this tweet if you banged Chenet.
He did respond to the tweet.
And he wrote, spoiler alert with a kissy face.
Which to me, I was at first confused being like,
Did he? Did he not? I don't think he did. Because I said, don't respond to this tweet if he banged tonight. He would not have responded. I think him responding saying spoiler alert is him being like, spoiler alert. I did not bang her.
I agree with you on that. Like that makes sense. But I also think he, if he did, he would not reveal. Like, I think he put himself in a position where he was going to respond regardless.
Right. You think so? Because that's a risky thing to respond to anyway. No, it absolutely is.
but like he's the bachelor and he can't like,
he can't not respond to that because you literally set it up
where don't respond, you bang Chenet.
And if he did bang Chenet, he can't like not respond
because then it would reveal that he did bang Chenet
and that would be a huge, you know, that would be a huge moment.
I guess, I guess so.
I don't know, I'm still not convinced.
I'm confused.
I'm still not convinced that he does not bang Chenet.
And I also think that's just because we have been seeing
some of the most confusing
previews that we've maybe ever seen
in the history of this show.
They somehow get more confusing every week.
Yeah.
Like now they're showing us
and they've always been showing us
who the girls are, but they're also cutting it
in a weird way where it's not...
I'm not sure if the girls are the ones
he's actually talking to. I don't know.
I mean, we're just going to have to wait and find out.
I am still on the side that he banged Chenet.
That's what I think.
It was my theory, though. So should I hop back on?
Because I don't want to not be a part of my own theory.
I think you got to hop back on.
I'm going to hop back on.
I think you should hop back on.
I'm going to hop back on the train real fast.
But if it doesn't happen, we can refer back to this tweet and say we knew all along.
You're right.
Okay.
So we're going to hop back on the train that he did.
Yeah.
And then if he does not, we'll say, well, he did tell us.
He was a spoiler.
Yeah, he told us anyway.
He told us.
We should have listened.
We'll be, well, egg on her head, all three of us.
We didn't know clearly know how to work Twitter.
Yep.
He told us the real truth.
Okay.
Let's get into this episode.
But first, you know, quick shout out to our friends at edible arrangements.
Edible arrangements, they have been sponsoring cutting stems.
We are obsessed.
We have our fair share of chocolate covers strawberries while recording.
Four to be exact.
Just never ending.
They're so delicious.
Valentine's Day is coming up.
So you deserve a nice treat.
Edible offers the perfect traits to be sweet to yourself or the ones you love.
They have the arrangements of chocolate dip strawberries.
You get them in the coffee mug like we had on cutting stems.
If you watched cutting stems, so cute.
We each got our own.
You can also add fresh cut flowers.
You can send it to your best friend, your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your girlfriend, whoever, wife, husband, it doesn't matter, mom, dad, whoever it is, um, you can send an edible arrangement to them.
Edible is here to help with their same day delivery nationwide.
You can go to edible.com and use promo code cutting stems 10 to get $10 off your next order now through February 12th.
So jump on that, guys.
Clock is ticking.
Edible.com.
Use promo code cutting stems 10 to get $10.
$10 off your next order now through February 12th.
The episode started.
They're getting ready for a rose ceremony, cocktail party, the whole thing.
And it's just Elizabeth and Chenet still fighting.
It's the three of them.
They're sitting outside on a couch.
It's just the most ridiculous conversation of claiming, like,
could someone please explain to me what's happening?
And Chenet's like, well, here's the thing.
I made shrimp.
Elizabeth made shrimp.
And we all ate the shrimp.
And then I made shrimp.
And I took it to the hot tub and nobody ate the shrimp.
and Elizabeth said she wasn't in the hot tub
but she was in the hot tub
so therefore
Chenet's just like she's a liar
she was in the hot tub
and it turned into an absolutely
ridiculous thing where even Clayton was like
why the fuck are we talking about shrimp for this long
it was very stupid
like
the
the premise of that conversation
between Chenet and Elizabeth
really should have just been like
we do not like each other and here's why
but they tried to
like
Chenet tried to sell it as, well, how could I trust her after this shrimp incident?
And then Chenay goes inside after they talk, after Clayton basically walks away in a fog
and is like, what have I, what decisions have I made with my life to come on the show?
And Chenet gets more shrimp and is eating the shrimp in front of the girls.
And now they're all arguing about shrimp again.
Clayton can hear them like, he doesn't want to hear about shrimp anymore.
He doesn't want to deal with this at all anymore.
And it's still happening.
We don't want to hear about it anymore.
viewers.
And guys,
Clayton took some drastic measures.
He canceled the cocktail party.
Wow.
Shocking.
Say it.
Cancel the cocktail party.
They should have had a shrimp cocktail party.
That's why we call you in.
That's right.
That's why we bring in the big guys.
Yeah.
The big dog.
Honestly, though, when is the last time we had a cocktail party?
They don't exist.
this anymore. Cocktail parties are just meant to be canceled.
I actually kind of like that.
Like, rules are cancel the cocktail party.
Fucking cancel the cocktail party.
If there is an inkling
of drama during
a cocktail party now, cancel it. Cancel it.
Can't do it. Can't talk anymore. Can't have it.
That's basically how I live my life just about most things.
Like any minor inconvenience. I'm like, let's rearrange
the entire day. Yeah. Like, oh,
podcast recording, move it.
Yeah. No cocktail party.
Maria's like, you know, my shower was a little slightly off temperature this morning.
I think we have to cancel the entire day.
Yeah, I'm like...
Fran is not exaggerating.
I think we need to move the recording to tomorrow.
Yeah.
And the girls, the rest of the girls in this house are so fed up.
I think Genevieve is close to reaching her breaking point.
She's ready to just lose her shit on this girl.
They're all really just so over it and cannot believe that this is continuing to happen.
There are Genevieve and Chenier are yelling.
at each other across the room.
Jill is just like, if I don't get any time with Clayton because of fucking shrimp, like,
I'm going to be so pissed.
Very fair.
Super fair.
And then we had the rose ceremony and we got down to that last rose.
Chenet didn't have one.
Elizabeth didn't have one.
And he gave the rose to Chenay.
I'm going to jump in right now.
Yeah.
So everyone is super upset.
set about this, right?
People are demanding
Clayton give an apology to Elizabeth
and they're like, why
would he keep Sheenay and not Elizabeth?
From the outside,
viewers' perspective,
obviously you would be team
Elizabeth, right?
Shehne has disrespected Elizabeth in all
shapes and forms, made fun of her for her ADHD,
took her shrimp, very
mean to her, not very
nice to the other girls in general.
Sheenae is kind of just an insufferably
human being to watch on TV. She's really not nice or pleasant anyway. Villain, the most villain.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. But...
It's coming through like a tornado right now. Right. On Clayton's end of it, he clearly has a better
connection with Chenet. I don't really see his connection with Elizabeth. He's making out with
Chenet all the time. He doesn't see what the other girls are seeing with Chenet. So from
Clayton's point of view, it would make sense that he would give the rose to Chenet and not
Elizabeth. Viewer's point of view,
we're like, what the fuck? Why is he giving it to
Chenet? But have you guys seen much of a connection
between Clayton and Elizabeth? No.
What we've seen from Elizabeth and Clayton
is them talking about Chenet.
Right. Them talking about Chenet. They're not really seeing a connection
between those two. So I am fully on Elizabeth's side.
100% think she should have gotten more of a chance than Chenet
because Chenet's terrible in every way.
But for Clayton's side of it,
he's not seeing the real Chenet.
He's being fed just Chenet herself, make it out with him all the time.
I agree with what you're saying.
What it comes down to is a judgment call from Clayton.
It's not like he's not hearing about Chenet in the house.
He clearly, like, Elizabeth is being like, I am not doing anything.
I'm just being myself and Chenet is attacking me for whatever reason.
Right.
So at that point, it does come down to Clayton to be like, all right, which one do I trust here?
And you're right.
He clearly has a better connection with Chenet.
They make out all the time.
super into that.
So he's going to pick Chenet.
Right, right.
But I guess in that scenario for me, if I'm the Bachelor, I think you either give them
both a rose or neither of them get a rose.
Yeah.
You can't.
It feels like too early to tell or he needs to do more investigating just to give Chenet a rose
and not Elizabeth a Rose when all the girls in the house and Elizabeth herself are saying
Sheenae is the one who's causing all these problems.
Yeah.
You're going to lose the locker room in that situation if you're Clayton.
I do think it's a bad judgment call, obviously, because we know everything that's going on
And like you said, even Clayton's being told about it.
But think about when you really like somebody and people have jumped in to tell you,
I don't think that person's right for you, you know, all these things about somebody.
But when you like somebody, you kind of just, you believe that person that you like,
even though they're probably wrong.
Super fair.
And I think that's what's happening with Clinton here, which obviously bad judgment call.
He should probably open up his eyes a little bit more on Chenay.
But unfortunately, that happens when you're blinded by somebody's attractiveness and like make it out with them all the time.
Well, and he tweeted this morning that note's app.
was like, I'm watching this just like you guys are.
I'm sorry to Elizabeth.
Clearly, I didn't have all of the information
or I wasn't seeing all of it.
And yeah, he's having some regrets for sure
because imagine being him watching this
and watching Chenet, like, be one way with him.
And then when she is just doing her one-on-one interviews
with a producer, she's like, ah, he fell for it.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, I'm being me.
He's just like, man, I completely got conned.
Right.
Yeah, so he tweeted, he first he tweeted,
I'm looking forward to having an open and
honest discussion at the women till all with what all happened it's important to hold people accountable
including myself and he got a lot of responses to that tweet of being like it's still kind of insane
no one's addressed the ADHD thing like nobody's brought it up nobody like said you know let's single
let's single out this one event and make sure we make it very clear that that was wrong um which is
why i think he know he then sent out the note he wrote i'm sorry elizabeth for what you're going through
i wish i could have seen what was happening when i wasn't there i obviously knew y'all weren't in a
place with each other, but I thought at the time that it was solely petty drama.
I would have sent Chenay home immediately for making fun of you for being neurodivergent,
had I known.
Overall, the experience for me watching hasn't been fun, simply because I'm seeing all the damage
that I caused.
I really meant well, but my actions weren't always the best, as I now can see the repercussions
from my decisions.
I can promise you I'm learning from those stakes, though, and I'm doing everything in my
power to come out the other side, a better man.
So, yeah, look, he decided to trust Chenay.
In that scenario, he sent Elizabeth home because I think he felt like, you know, maybe Chenet was really being the victim and everyone was getting up on her.
And maybe he started to regret that once all the other girls started to say that as well.
But I think it also real, like what you were saying, it could have built up because now, like, it just made Chenet more and more the victim of her being like, now everyone in the house is mean to me and I hear them all talking about me.
and like it has that effect.
But I don't know.
There were still, there were still girls.
Like, we're still so early on
and there's still so many girls left
that it felt like there were girls
that could have maybe not gotten a rose
in this round
for Elizabeth to get a rose.
You know, like he kept girls
that I was like, you're going to keep her like over Elizabeth?
I feel like, even though what we have seen
has been them discussing a lot of drama,
it does feel like we're,
We've seen him talk to Elizabeth a lot more than some of these other girls.
But at the end of the day, she went home, Molina went home, and Kira went home.
And that's when Jesse Palmer came in and said, you know, fake out, pack your bags, ladies.
Time's coming.
We're going traveling.
This is it.
Worldwide.
Worldwide, baby.
And they're going to embark on a worldwide international journey to find love with Clayton.
Where are we going first?
Houston, Texas
Worldwide, international.
Worldwide, international journey.
No, no shout out.
Why?
Why?
Wait, what?
You get the reference?
No, I don't think I did.
Oh, shoot.
We still don't get it.
We are so on the same page.
We know it's insane.
Prestige.
Oh, the echo.
Why?
I thought you were saying, why.
I thought you were saying why.
I thought you were saying why.
I thought you went, why, why.
I was like, I don't know why.
Yeah, I thought you were asking why.
I went to Houston.
Yeah, yeah.
I heard you.
Why?
Why?
Yes.
Don't worry a little bro.
I got you.
I got it.
I got it.
No, Rickett Shoshat to Houston either.
I've never been there.
I bet it's lovely.
No, it was just funny the way Jesse Palmer teed it up.
Like it was just the way he teed it up was very funny.
Yeah.
Of like we're going international first stop Houston.
They are definitely, they are going to plenty of other places.
We know that.
We've seen, you know, that this is kind of the first season that they've talked about that they were able to travel the world again.
And then once they get to Houston, Clayton gets a visit from his pal Clarence, old college football friend.
Great hug.
Great hug.
He lifted him off the air.
Like he lived him in the air is what I mean to say off his feet.
And that was another interaction with Clayton.
You tweeted about that hug.
And Clayton was like, you know, Clarence wasn't actually too happy about me, like lifting him up.
He didn't like it and lifted up, which I'm surprised by.
I feel like they've shared.
I would have thought they've shared those type of hugs, their entire friendship.
It was very nice.
It's nice.
And Clarence, they brought him in
because he's the perfect example, married,
you know, he's got a baby.
Everything that Clayton's looking forward to,
Clarence is like, you know, you want this life.
Let's get it to you.
Let's figure it out.
And the ladies are gearing up for finding out
who gets the 101, the group dates,
all these things are back in Houston.
So let's get into the one-on-one date, but first.
I've been getting calls nonstop about my student loans.
Not going to lie.
And have I been dodging the calls a little bit?
Maybe because student loans, they're hard to handle.
But they are not hard to handle with earnest.

The first one-on-one date goes to Rachel.
Rachel snaps for Rachel.
They are on horseback.
They ride up to some random families,
a barbecue.
Yep.
Which it's just,
which was very funny because
they just
they just stopped at a
rant like a, the family
never said their name.
Nope.
They weren't like, hey everyone, like we're like the
Smith family. We're like the, you know, the James
family. Like nothing. We got, it was
anonymous.
Anonymous family. They met up
and they started making Coleslaw and
that was kind of the day. I was like, who were
these actors that are, this are
playing this quote-unquote family.
And then Clayton tells Rachel that she really fits into the family.
He's talking about she fits into the family.
Of course she fits into the family that nobody knows because there's no expectations
for her to fit into this family.
No.
If Rachel was meeting Clayton's family, she'd be acting a little bit different, right?
Because it's the boyfriend's family.
She'd be acting a little more like I'm meeting the family for the first time.
She has nothing to prove to this family.
We don't know who these people are.
You are just complete strangers.
They're strangers.
It does not matter how you act in front of them.
Well, you should be nice to them.
No, no.
But I'm saying.
Yeah, but it's just a weird date.
Like there's no set.
Like there's no value.
Of course, you're just going to be more comfortable with a bunch of strangers than your boyfriend's family for the first time.
Totally.
So of course she fits right in.
Yeah.
It was very silly.
And then they tried to like really have these serious conversations with her where it's like this.
Why are we?
they're like, oh, you ready to settle down?
Who are these people?
I don't know.
It was a very strange start to the day.
It was.
And then they head down to a little lake.
They're talking.
They're making out a lot.
And maybe for the first time we've ever seen on this show like this early on,
Clayton was like, what's your last name?
You don't see that often.
Good question.
Good question.
Yeah.
I was like, you know what, Clayton, that is nice.
You ask her what her full name is.
It's nice to know.
Yeah.
Like now it made me just think about the show and like, do people make it to like fantasy suites when they're like in private and it's hey, by the way, full name?
Joe's like, so what does the P stand for to Serena?
Yeah.
I wonder.
That's a good question.
Like when did you find out this person's last name?
How important do you think knowing somebody's middle name is before you're dating?
Not important.
Like, could you know Trent's middle name?
Ryan.
No, it's your last name.
Trent Ryan.
Yeah.
Nice.
Well done.
You don't know mine.
Andrew.
Wow.
How did you know that?
I'm really good at a middle name.
We also, I think we have talked about middle names.
Noel.
Yes.
How did you know mine?
I'm shocked.
Because her parents conceived her around Christmas.
Yep.
Is that right?
Yeah.
Oh, nice.
Does anybody know mine?
I would love to.
Oh my God.
I would actually love to have Noah guess.
Do you know mine?
Yeah, I know what your middle name is.
I don't know.
Take a guy.
Give me a hint.
No.
Well, how?
It could be anything.
Just take a guess.
What do you feel in your heart?
Angela.
What?
What?
Angela, you think my middle name is Angela?
You take one guess.
I won't be upset.
Okay, I'm sorry that I don't know.
No, it's okay.
I should know.
It's disrespectful that I don't know.
It's not very Italian.
Lynn?
No.
Dang.
Letter, letter.
You guys thought my middle name would be Lynn?
I guess my middle name,
M. I don't know. Like, what? Monique.
Monique? Maria Monique?
That would be that kind of sounds cool.
Bad ass. It's Michelle.
My dad's name is Michael.
Wow, I have the girl version of your middle name.
Oh, you do? Yeah. Anyways.
But I was thinking, I'm first of all,
that I knew both of your middle names.
Yeah, I'm impressed.
I was thinking just like before you start, like say you get into
a relationship with somebody right yeah and then all of a sudden it's like wait second what's your
middle name like do you guys think that's weird or where do you stand no i feel like i've done that
or i've like gotten to know someone like you started dating joe and then you were like wait what's
your middle name yeah and well what's the point i didn't know it before because he just uses his
initials on everything so it was like he puts his middle name in the initial no it's just it's
just like social media and stuff he uses his three initials so it's like oh oh oh this is your
Instagram, but what's your middle name?
Like, it's just a conversation starter
because it's used in places. I don't think there's any point to a
middle name at all.
Just like there's no point to like godparents.
My mom doesn't have a middle name.
But also, no point to a god parent is
just disrespectful. Yeah, that is.
That's there's so. What does that have to do with? You're Jewish.
You're Jewish so you don't know what Godparents is like it's a major
part of church. Like you get baptized.
That's why I meant, I meant it because.
Oh, she's saying like because I'm your
Jewish, you don't have God parents.
No, I do have God parents.
You do?
Yeah.
Have you been baptized?
Were you baptized?
No.
I'm Jewish.
No, so, wait.
So Jewish, you have God parents when you're Jewish?
I mean, yeah, I have God parents.
What?
Sorry, I didn't mean to disrespect the Jewish community with that.
I don't know nearly enough about any of it.
For us specifically it is because we are used to having a god parent is like what you get, like, when you're back.
You're welcomed into the church, saved from, you know, what the hell is.
Original sin.
Yeah, exactly.
And your godparents have just like take an oath in front of God and family and everything.
I mean, no, I'm pretty sure there's no, that's not much meaning behind ours, but I do have Godparents.
Yeah.
Interesting.
I did not know that.
Sorry, I didn't mean to disrespect.
Who are my godparents?
My aunt Debbie is my godmother.
But it's also seems like it's from, it's also seems like maybe I'm wrong, correct me if I'm wrong.
It might just be a choice.
Because this is, I'm reading like, there's.
no such concept of godparents
in Judaism but like if you choose
to have it you can do it.
So maybe that's why you think it's pointless.
It doesn't actually like far more
involved. It doesn't mean anything really.
Some godparents are primarily an honorary
role that you're used in
more like progressive movements.
If you're just being honest, does it
actually mean anything? To my aunt Debbie,
it does. She reminds me all the time
she's my godmother to my godmother.
To my godfather, it means fucking nothing.
Yeah.
But your other aunt is probably just as important to you as her.
Oh, yeah.
And when you're confirmed, whoever you pick becomes your sex.
Like, I have two guys.
If your parents, something were to happen, would they be, like, responsible?
That's the impression I was always.
That's what I thought it was.
Yeah.
Basically.
I think until after you're 18.
Except my guy parents were, like, one uncle on one side and an aunt on the other side.
That makes sense.
That's how my whole family is.
Yeah.
It really just depends on who your parents pick.
My dad doesn't have any brother, so he picked one of his best friends.
One of his best friends who lives in Ohio.
Love you, John, but you haven't wished me happy birthday in years.
My dad's going to be so mad about that, but it's all right.
Oh, man.
Yeah.
Okay.
Where were we?
We were talking about the last name.
Oh, middle names.
Middle names.
Middle names because Clayton was like, what the fuck's your last name?
Yep.
Which, you know, important, good.
They're getting to know each other.
And I wanted to say this before we got any.
into this once again off topic.
My mom does not have a middle name, but her
confirmation name, Dora.
Dora? My mom's confirmation
name is Dora. There's a St. Dora?
Apparently so. I guess, I mean,
there has to be. And my dad's middle, they have
crazy middle name. I consider that my mom's middle name.
Rosaria Dora. Crazy.
And my dad's middle name is Amariko.
Whoa.
Isn't that wild? And my brother's
middle name is Jayakino.
I think mine was Rose.
You know what my Hebrew name is?
What is it?
Noah.
Yeah.
So you're Noah Noah?
You just, yeah.
I'm pretty sure my confirmation is Roe was,
you're pretty sure you don't know 100%
what your confirmation name is?
I don't either.
Last story I have.
Last story.
I wanted something different.
Like I wanted like some ridiculous saint name
and I couldn't do it.
And then I just kind of like Rose is looking at
my mom's middle name.
It's my, it's my, it's my,
Mima's sister's name so it just
I wanted
my
confirmation name to be Giovanna
there needs to be a saint
so when it came down
to the saint reports I couldn't find
a saint Giovanna I couldn't find anything about it we had to
write it so I then switched to
Isabella so
when I went up there
and the bishop
confirmed me
it's Isabella so my confirmation name is Isabella
but on the pamphlet in the papers it's
as Giovanna.
Because they never fix it.
It's Isabella, though.
And also the bishop who confirmed me was the one who covered up the priest things in spotlight.
Didn't we have to, are you allowed to say that?
Yeah.
I feel like we cut that out of it because we got high episode.
No, we cut out his name and stuff.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Whoa.
That took a turn.
It did take a turn.
It did.
Church.
Catholic Church.
It did take a turn.
It did take a turn.
It did take a turn.
Little shady.
Breaking news.
Yeah.
The, uh, I,
Oh, this is where, and this is where we got the, like, how could you, how are you here?
Why?
How could you possibly be single?
And she basically said, you know, like, she's been training to be a pilot for years now.
Not a lot of time to date.
She said, as a woman, I've had to work harder and I have to prove myself more every single day.
Which, honestly, kudos for Rachel, because I feel like that there are, of course, a lot of very male-driven job fields.
whatnot, pilot feels like it's got to be way up there.
Yeah.
Right?
Like just...
Just a judgment call.
Yeah, I would think so.
You ever met a female pilot?
No.
I'm sure I've...
Have you ever met a pilot?
No, but I'm just...
But like when you're coming off...
Like, even when you're getting off a plane, like if you're on any commercial flight.
That is true.
You know?
That is...
That is...
Seems to be a male-dominated field.
Exactly.
So she had just said that it has, you know, it's been really hard for her.
Past boyfriend didn't really support, which...
she wanted to do.
And Clay had made it very clear.
He said, I'll never dim your light.
It could be taken as cheesy or nice or, you know.
It's nice.
Yeah.
I think it was the atmosphere.
I think it was because they were like slow dancing while a country band was playing.
And there was like kind of some fog, sort of, it seemed like.
Yeah.
And he was like, I'll never dim your light.
Like it's just like could have been a good.
I just think it could have been.
phrase less cheesy.
Right.
Like, could have been like,
the intention was very sweet.
The intention was very sweet.
I knew what he was trying to say,
but more so he could elaborate on what he means by that.
Like,
you know,
I'll always let you be yourself.
Like,
you know,
whatever.
Instead,
he used on the everyday,
concise,
concise.
It's like a hallmark card.
Poetic.
Yeah,
it is like a little bit like it.
Concise.
Concise.
Concised it.
Conciized it.
He made it more concise.
He concised it.
You concised it.
And the morning of the group dates,
Sierra, Gabby, Genevieve,
they're all chatting about Cheney.
They're plotting how they're going to take her down.
Yeah.
And Cheney's listening through the wall.
Quite a setup, by the way.
Like, I don't know if we've ever seen this actually shown
when it has to happen all the time.
Of, like, people.
Listening through the wall?
Yeah.
Like, you can hear every.
Everybody.
You're probably right.
You got to take Noah's approach to things, though.
You don't want to hear some stuff.
Yeah, yeah.
But she, I mean, Sheney wants to hear what the girls are saying about her.
Sheenae wants to hear what these girls are saying about her.
So she's totally listening.
She's, you know, she hears all the girls being like, we're totally going to tell her.
We're totally going to tell Clayton like, this is not the girl for you.
Like she's got to get out of here, all these things.
But they're all going on this.

They head to the stadium where they're tailgating a lot of product placement.
Shout out Hyundai.
They got an electric car now.
It's drills.
Grills.
Cars.
That bad boy can power a grill.
They really.
They weren't being shy.
The shots of these grills.
They were not being shy.
And they like, they really, it was a whole thing.
It was like, oh, let's show Clayton how this turns on the grill.
Like, oh, let me hit this button.
Yeah.
So shout out Hyundai.
Get that money, ABC, I guess.
Money to shine there.
Moment to shine there.
And then they head to the Bachelor Bowl.
Bachelor Bowl.
Get a whole montage of previous Bachelor Bowls.
I thought that was nice.
They should have put Dylan getting trucked by Luke Pan.
Yeah, technically rugby.
So.
I know.
But just throw that in any time.
you get the chance.
Yeah.
We often say that we want them to get rid of these dates,
and I generally agree with you,
but I had said on cutting stems last night
that if they're going to keep doing these,
and it sure seems like they're going to keep doing them,
they got to make it more of a thing.
They can't have them just be so one-off
and like the purple team plays the blue team
and whoever wins gets to spend more time
with the Bachelor, Bachelorette.
You got to make the teams,
you got to have them be that at the teams every year.
Like the Harlem Globetrotters.
Yes.
You got to have something that's recognizable,
keep records, keep statistics.
have like the longest touchdown.
Like if we're going to keep doing it like let me let us buy jerseys for the team.
Let us make jerseys.
Right.
Or yeah, we'll make them and we'll sell them.
Like there needs to be more.
They don't need more money.
Right.
There's like an MVP.
There's like all these.
Yeah.
And like it needs to be more connective because right now why we don't like them is because
they just happen and they're weird and people usually end up getting hurt and
scraped knees and they're like, why are we doing this?
But if you connect some sort of meaning to it, I think I'd be, I would want a bachelor.
Like Chenet just broke the rushing yards in one game.
Right.
Yeah, and like if they're getting cuts and bruises for no reason, there's no point.
But if they're getting cuts and bruises and it's connected to something, you're right.
People are going to be more interested.
They got Hannah Storm there.
Just let her like fully announce all the games and go in and do it.
So this year we had the shrimp stampede versus the purple Punishers.
I didn't know they actually had names.
Oh, they had names.
Yeah.
The shrimp stampede was the blue team.
That was Lindsay, Chenet, Hunter, Gabby, Jill, Eliza, and the Purple Punishers,
Marlana, Sarah, Susie, Sierra, Teddy, Mara and Genevieve.
winners obviously get to go to the after party and losers get to go home.
Can't stay here.
Two NFL players.
You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here.
My dad used to say that when I had parties at my house.
Clos in time.
At a certain time, he would say it.
He would.
He would tell all my friends that like won two.
You don't have to go home, but you guys can't stay here.
That's a good line.
The two NFL guests participate, you know, that Jonathan Greenard and
Camusier Hill who shout at Camus
He used to be on the Eagles
Okay
Just want to, yep
I recognize
Eagles fly
We need
I said this last night
Right words
Wrong wrong tune
Wrong cater
Yeah
Some somewhat
Do you
No
Do you think that
Yeah but that wasn't
What she did
But do you think
I'm on tune
For any song
Like I probably meant it right
But it probably played right
In your head
Yeah
Yeah
That's true
I'm glad that these guys
did the day, but we need a superstar NFL or any professional athlete.
We need Gronk and Camille to host a day.
It would be great.
We need somebody super recognizable to like be on the show just because it'd give us a lot
of clout in terms of people being like, oh, you know, you should be watching sports and
I can be like, well, Gronk watches the show.
I think Gronk and Camille would be the perfect fit.
Gronk goofy, Camille goofy, but they would like in love.
Quarterbacks like Aaron Rogers, who knows, maybe a what's her name?
is a fan.
Aaron Rodgers will never step foot
on a Bachelor franchise.
Of all the quarterback.
Of all people you could mention the one
who literally does not talk to his brother
Jordan who is a part of the franchise.
Let's get Josh Allen on the show.
I was thinking Josh Allen and his
girlfriend. This is the thing
there's got to be a lot of guys who's
you know, they got a lot of ladies in their
life who watch the show. Bring him as a date.
It's a great way to do we really want Patrick Mahomes
on there? No.
Oh, yeah. That's what I'm saying. Then we get Brittany.
Now that we get his brother too
Wait, that would be hilarious
A date where they make a TikTok video
I'm honest, it actually would be
Brittany and Jackson hosting a date
Would actually be pretty hilarious
Brom and Camille are the two
Yeah, no, definitely
Yeah, definitely
Joe Burrow just because he's hot
Yeah
Joe Burrow would be great
The Purple Punishers
Crush them, they're so good
I mean the Purple Punishers had Marlana
She's Olympic athlete
Like, come on, what are we doing here?
So the Purple team wins
they get to go back to the, you know, hotel,
they get to go on the dates,
everyone else leave.
Shanae is all salty about leaving.
And then, like, basically,
the girls are pumped because they're like,
yeah, Sheney's not coming.
So this is the perfect opportunity,
drama free,
but we'll all spend our time telling Clayton how bad Shanae is.
This is not all of them, but a lot of them.
No, and, but it's a mistake on the houses part,
but I also see the other side of it where, like,
they want to tell Clayton about Shanae,
but you're also giving Shanae all the,
ammunition in the world to then crash the date like she did and say, these girls are being mean,
they're bullying and they're teaming up on me.
But also the flip side of that is somebody's going to have to tell Clayton over and over and over again
for it to finally get through to him.
So it's a tough spot.
You can't, it's tough to say something, but you also can't not say something because you
need Clayton to know.
Right.
It's kind of, like you said, it's a tough spot because the smart idea would be almost
to just ignore her and not feed into it because once you ignore her, then what is she
she going to feed into, right? Like it only makes her keep going if they keep talking about it.
And like you said, it gives her ammunition now to be like, oh, they're being mean to me.
They keep talking about me. Whereas if they just ignored her completely, she'd fall apart.
She'd have a meltdown because they'd be like nobody's paying attention to me. But it is hard
to do that. Once somebody's being so annoying, it's hard to just brush that off, especially
they're living with her. They're dealing with her. They can't stand that Clayton's like spending so much
time with her. So, yeah. Who was it who took Clayton aside and tried to break it down as much as she could?
Sierra. And I think it's also because Sierra, like, she's already had success in this department, right?
She's the one who told Clayton about the Cassidy with the FaceTime guy.
Like, so she's like, all right, it's time for me to be like, sit down.
Cheney is bad. Like, do you understand what I'm saying to you?
Like, she's talking to him. Like, you do not see what we all see. Like, open your eyes.
But honestly, it didn't even really matter. Like, the rest of everyone else is trying to say it a little bit too.
two Genevieve tried to as well.
Poor Teddy had just a giant gash on her knee.
Like, Jesus, these dates are brutal.
Her knee was destroyed.
For nothing.
Oh, like, yeah.
So Clayton's talking to Sarah,
and while that's happening,
we cut to Chenet nine million times,
getting ready, changing,
walking down a hallway very slowly,
like multiple hallways before she finally gets
to the date and crashes
where Sarah is just like,
okay and you know Clayton seemed
flustered he's like your team
didn't your team lose
yeah excuse me
you're team blue excuse me
or team purple yeah he's like
weren't you team blue
you're team blue
you lost
you're not allowed to be here
scram but then
she just sits down and makes out with it
yeah no he they talk
Chenet can do whatever she wants right now
and I voiced her opinion in two seconds
like by the way all these girls are out to get me
and like let's make out now
and it's it's working
it worked
he put her right up on
that bar. It worked.
And then all the girls are sitting around
their piss because
Chenet's hijacked their date, which is
obviously going to turn into a whole big thing.
Sierra calls her a Karen.
Oh, yeah.
And
this did make me laugh.
Marlena joked that
two death to us part with Shanae
would just be death. Oh, man.
Whoa. I was like, are they planning on killing her?
I was like, okay.
This series will take a turn.
They really don't like Chenet.
I think Sarah, like, I think Sarah was really hopeful that this was going to backfire on
Chenay because Sarah sat down and was like, I don't know, guys, like he didn't seem like
super excited to see her.
Like, I don't know.
And then she was like, you never know how the night's going to end.
Like this could turn around.
Meanwhile, she's on the bar.
They're making out.
Right.
She might get the group day rose.
And it's, oh, man, that would be something.
She might get the group day.
And what they're going to have to, or what they're going to be realizing is that, like,
we can keep telling Clayton over and over again,
but ultimately it's up to him
to decide whether or not to send Chenet home.
And he's just going to keep making out with her, it seems,
and she's going to go a lot further than we all want.
And Chenet did approach the group.
She said, keep my name out of your motherfucking mouths.
Genevieve, Sierra, I'm coming for you.
Takes that trophy, throws it in the dirt.
Petty.
But we knew that.
She's out of control.
She's a monster.
It's a lot.
She's been emboldened by Clayton, unfortunately.
It's insane, and this ties back to what we were saying at the beginning with this trailer.
No fucking idea what's going on here.
It looks like we're getting a two-on-one with Chenet and Genevieve,
but they're in different outfits,
and then they're in different outfits at what looks like some kind of rose ceremony,
but they, like, it's Chenet and Genevieve standing in front of him,
but then they cut to the little rose podium, and there's two roses on the podium.
but they're showing two people.
And that's when he's like,
I've been intimate with the both of you.
I just don't know.
I don't know yet.
We have no idea.
The preview is a complete psych out.
Is there anybody out there?
Is there any Instagram account that breaks down Bachelor trailers?
There definitely is,
but I feel like spoilers might be involved with that.
Okay.
I would love just like face value.
Yeah.
Here's what it seems like is going on.
Because I think the only way you could properly break down that trailer.
is if you know the spoilers.
You're probably right.
Right?
Because it is so confusing.
It's incredibly confusing.
And you know that they're not giving it to us straight.
They're not.
Of course.
Because then we would just know what happened.
Exactly.
Yeah, true.
Exactly.
So that wraps it up.
We will be back next week for, I guess, this 2-1-1 with Genevieve and Chenay.
But we're going to get, it'll be, you would say this last night, I think.
It'll be the end of next week's episode is when the 2-1-1 will start.
And then it'll be a cliffhanger about that.
We're going to by far get it.
at least a half hour of all the girls on this group date pissed about Chenet crashing.
No doubt.
It has to be.
All right, thanks, guys.
We'll be back next week.
