Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. This is state of emergency. What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran. We are giving you that Friday energy on a Monday, except it's Sunday. Because we're recording on a Sunday.
Starting point is 00:00:32 Yep, this is one of those times where we just couldn't do it on Friday. We just couldn't do it on Friday. Ria and I had a tough week. It is inevitable that if one of us gets sick, the other one gets sick. So I was sick at the beginning of the week. Then Ria got sick at the end of the week. So she wasn't here on Friday, which is why we are here on Sunday. I'm jacked up.
Starting point is 00:00:53 Honestly, I think it's because I do this show on Sundays now, if you guys, you know, want to watch it. Football show, Super Sunday Rundown. And we got a new guy working at Barcelona Sports. His name's Brandon Newman. and Brandon just brings the energy. He just screams. Really? Like he and Willie scream before we start the show.
Starting point is 00:01:14 I can't even do it because I don't want to scare everybody on the podcast. Don't do it right now. I'm a little hungover. They scream bloody murder. Like to pump themselves up before the show. Interesting. And it's just something I could get behind if I was there. Oh.
Starting point is 00:01:28 It hikes you up. I really want to let out like a bloody murder scream right now. I'll watch my Instagram story. after this like Brandon is screaming. So you don't want to do one? No, it's really loud. Like I want to scream like I'm in a scary movie right now. You're making me want to just really let it out.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Like a shriek. Sometimes you just got a scream and actually very shaking his head. He's like, no, please. Noah's hungover. He doesn't want us to scream. He doesn't want us to scream. I went out last night and I'm a little hungover, but not that hungover. Yeah. I feel pretty good. Shout out to Angela and Kelsey who I met at the bar I was at. and they were so sweet. They were big fans. They were asking about Dylan and Tyler.
Starting point is 00:02:08 That's so nice. Why is Tyler coming on the podcast? I'm like soon. I think that'll forever be the most asked question I get for the rest of my life. Like I was at, I went out. This is my thing now. I'm like a Saturday afternoon drinker because of this show now. I'm trying not to be like a total waste of a human on Sunday.
Starting point is 00:02:28 And I like going out Saturday nights, forget it. Like Sundays I'm just toast. So I, I'm just toast. went home and but before that even like all the men were like all right friend like I just I got to talk to you about Tyler and I'm like this is fucking ridiculous it is ridiculous like I'm like over I'm starting to be very over it yeah my I went home to Long Island and my dad was like I got to say that's the best looking guy I've ever seen it's like dad really he's like I can't get over he's like he goes not even just his body start zooming it oh my god no it's like just facially he is
Starting point is 00:03:02 just so good looking. It is crazy. Remember my grandma? Yeah, you're grandma. We went to dinner this week with some of my family members and my mom who just gushes over Tyler any chance she gets was telling my mima how hot he is. And so then she was like, can I see a picture? My mom pulled up his Instagram. My mema was like, oh my goodness. It's honestly a disease at this point. It's spreading rapidly. It is. My dad was, my mom like won't say. when other guys are hot, she's just really respectful like that to my dad.
Starting point is 00:03:36 It's kind of crazy. My mom's just such a saint. She really is. But my dad was trying to get her to say in. And she was like, yeah. Yeah. I was like, mom, you're going to sit here and say that he's not good looking? She's like, no, that's not what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:03:52 He is. He is. And then it turned into a full discussion. So yeah, that's now whenever we, anybody says hi to us, they have to bring up Dylan, Tyler, or the Jonas brothers, which is fine. Totally understand. I mean, I'll talk about the Jones Brothers. So the cows come home. I don't care about that.
Starting point is 00:04:07 However, now it's getting annoying because Tyler is literally doing fucking everything. Like, I hope he listens to this right now. I'm like, Tyler's doing skits with David Spade. He's on E. He's like, and now I'm like, what the fuck? It's ridiculous. Honestly, he went so Hollywood. He really just went so Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:04:26 And he still says he's going to come on the show on. I'm just, I don't know. We'll see. It is what it is. I mean, at least we're like, friends with them. Yeah, that's cool. Yeah, like, that's cool.
Starting point is 00:04:35 We don't need them to come on the podcast. I don't want to beg him. No, no, no. Because now it makes them truly seem like very normal human beings now, you know. What else do we want to talk about? Oh, tip number two. We have tip number two of our big 100th episode reveal. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:52 Okay, let's talk about that first. Okay. Our 100th episode is on October 10th. We told you guys last week that we have a something ginormously monumental plan for the 100th episode and we stand by it
Starting point is 00:05:08 stand by it and this is hint number two we're going to Denver this week we leave Monday which is today we leave Monday so when you're listening to this we may be on a flight who knows
Starting point is 00:05:24 in the mountains somewhere we're going to Denver we're going to Denver we'll leave it at that that's the tip that's the tip okay moving on to something else that happened this week that we must talk about we must talk about it you know where I'm going with this friend I don't know if I do we interviewed somebody this week oh my god yeah do we want to say this for when we actually put it on the podcast I think we should just tease it a little bit all right okay so I mean this will be on it won't be on today because we have Jonathan van ness on today's podcast and he was awesome he was awesome great interview it is going to be
Starting point is 00:06:00 the tale of two interviews this week, folks. And then we had French Montana, who could barely speak. Guys, he... French Montana, it will be on Thursday's podcast, and honestly, I hope you guys continue to listen to chicks in the office after you hear this interview.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Fran, you have to tell them to listen because of how... But I'm just saying, like, I think... It won't be hard to listen. It's only 12 minutes. No, it is correct. It is 12 minutes. It is painful. uncomfortable to the point where I hope it's funny. Like I hope it's so bad that it's funny. Trust me it is.
Starting point is 00:06:37 And I really hope that you guys like don't lose faith in us as interviewers after this. It was not our fault. Friend, you're making it seem like it was our fault. Oh no. It was 100% incredibly not our fault. That's why it is so funny because we acted so normal and French Montana acted so insane. Like
Starting point is 00:06:55 guys, I don't want to spoil the entire interview. But. uncomfortable. I'm like, I'm like, I'm getting, I'm cringing again. I'm truly starting to sweat. You know the Frost Nixon movie where Richard Nixon's getting like interrogating in that interview? That's what he made it seem like. Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:11 Yes. He thought we, it was literally like we were trying to impeach him. No. Everything I asked, he thought that I was trying him. He just kept being like, you're trying me right now.
Starting point is 00:07:21 And I wasn't. I was asking very simple questions. I'll be shocked if you guys even are able to understand what he's saying because he was chewing on his grills the whole time. Noah, You just scared this chat of me. Why do you have a lighter in your hands? He literally just, he has a massive blow torch over there.
Starting point is 00:07:37 That's his thing. When I saw him walking on the street of New York City with a giant lighter in his hand, birthday cake lighter. You guys know the lighters I'm talking about. It's not like a normal lighter. It's the one with the long stint. It's like a trigger. You hold it down.
Starting point is 00:07:50 That's how most of them are. No, no. The one that I have, you don't. Anyways. Why? Okay, well, bizarre that you're just sitting there holding it. It was just on the desk. It was just on the desk.
Starting point is 00:07:59 He was just playing with it. Well, I don't like it. Can you not? Wow. Wow. You just let a guy play with some fire. It's, yeah, it's fire. I mean, like, he's just, it's just a lighter. He's not going to light the room on fire.
Starting point is 00:08:14 You never know. Wow, Fran. You really brought it down from French Montana. Well, anyways, the interview will be on this week and just listen to it. It's 12 minutes long. It's painfully uncomfortable, but it's so uncomfortable that it's funny. Trust me on that. But I think it's time to get into the,
Starting point is 00:08:30 the topics for this week. We got a lot of great topics. We have the interview with Jonathan Van Ness. We have Jalo and Shakira performing at the Super Bowl halftime show. Kanye says that he will only be making gospel music from here on out. Haley and Justin Bieber are already married, but they're having their wedding ceremony. Finally. Finally it's happening. And we have the challenge recap, the one you've been waiting for, no more Bachelor until January. So we're going to do the challenge. So let's get into it, starting off with Jalo and Shakira. Great news for the... Super Bowl halftime show. This year, it's going to be two of the hottest woman ever. Yeah. J-Lo and Shakira.
Starting point is 00:11:02 Can you think of anything hotter? Seriously. I am so excited for this. Obviously, the Super Bowl is in Miami. This makes a lot of sense. Two Latina princesses, not even princesses, queens. Queens. Literally queens, kings.
Starting point is 00:11:17 And they are just, I mean, going to shake it all over Miami. It's going to be unbelievable. there's going to be so much but shaking and it's going to be fantastic like I can't think of anything hotter of course I think Pipple's going to come out mr. 305 he's going to come out it's going to be a show like no other I am dreaming of this choreography like the choreography is going to be next level you like for the three seconds of the JLo show that we saw her choreography is fucking crazy Unbelievable. And you know that J-Lo is already working on the Super Bowl halftime show. She has to be. She's already starting it. Last year we got Travis Scott. It was okay. It was okay. I mean, this is going to be unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:12:06 I really can't even describe. And also, what a great, like J-Lo has been so hot, obviously in her career has been so hot. Like she's just always on top. And even recently, I feel like she's been on top of top, like Oscar buzz. crushing me like just absolutely crushing it. Shakira, I feel like we haven't heard too much from in a while. So this is going to be like just a great reminder of how awesome Shakira is. Like to hear, you know, obviously like I'm sure she's going to do the hits. We'll have hip so on lie. She wolf. I mean.
Starting point is 00:12:40 Jesus. Yeah. Yeah. And oh my God, it's just going to be amazing. Like you said, Pipple guaranteed. Like I wonder if that's going to be a prop. bet will Pipple come out? I mean, I hope it is. I mean, I'm easy money. I would bet $10,000 on yes. That is just easy money. Um, but there's so much. Oh, no, for sure. It would be a sin if Pipple
Starting point is 00:13:01 didn't come out to perform at the Miami Super Bowl. It's not like Pipple hasn't worked with them before. Like Pipple and J-Lo have songs together. So it just makes sense. Completely makes sense. I'm sure maybe they'll have some other like great people come out. I think it's going to be so amazing. I think this is like maybe the only reason I'm looking forward to the Super Bowl at this point. My pulse is, going just like thinking about like I'm thinking about them dancing and I feel tired. I'm thinking about how I'm going to feel after watching them dancing
Starting point is 00:13:29 like trying to practice in the mirror and stuff because whenever I see Jalo or somebody fantastic dance Normani at the Rihanna fashion show amazing and it just makes me go in the mirror and start practicing like as if I could dance like them. I can't but they give me the confidence
Starting point is 00:13:44 and I think if you are somebody that watches the Super Bowl with friends or goes to Super Bowl partiers or whatever this is going to be at the perfect time for like the party to go off. Like people are going to be so. We were hyped. So hyped. Like you don't realize how hyped J-Lo songs get you until you're in the moment.
Starting point is 00:14:03 And just people are, I think people are going to be so hyped that like, I don't know if anybody's going to watch the second half. They're going to be like, we got to go to the club. Yeah, we got to leave immediately and go to the club. Too bad. It's a Sunday. I know. It's like, it makes you, it makes it even worse going to work the next day. I mean, going to work after Super Bowl Sunday is miserable as miserable as it is.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Yeah. Add this into the mix. It's going to be fantastic. So we were supposed to get a new Kanye West album on Friday. Yeah, and now it's supposed to be today. It's definitely not out as of noon on Sunday. Noon on Sunday. It's not out. And now Kanye is apparently saying that he will no longer be making secular music. It's going to be strictly gospel music. So I'd like to say RIP, Kanye, because I mean, what happened? I mean, I'm all for him making the gospel music. Like, that's great. I love that they're so into it. But like, don't cut out everything else. I mean,
Starting point is 00:15:34 are you forgetting that this rap career that you've had in your lifetime? You're just going to throw that all away. Are you kidding me? What's going on? In honor of, you know, it's Sunday. It's the Lord's Day. Here we are. And he, thank you for bringing us here today. Thank you for joining me here today. Kanye West, I guess, is just truly found his faith, and he is not turning back. He's not going back to, I guess. As of right now, he says he's not going back to the old Kanye.
Starting point is 00:16:06 He's got this IMAX film, I guess, that is accompanying this album that's coming out. I don't even know when it's coming out. Oh, apparently that's supposed to come out. Oh, no. The film document, okay, it's called Jesus is Kempanying. King a Kanye West experience. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:16:23 It is a film documenting his Sunday service Collector Performing at James Turles Rodden Carter Art installation in Arizona's painted desert and is set to release on October 25th. And he did a like album preview Friday night in Detroit. I think they played the film. They listened to music.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Kim's had some stories of people freaking out. It was in some massive theater where like everybody had their phones taken but obviously Kim was like filming it so we saw clips of it. But that is where he announced no longer making secular music, only gospel music from here on out. That really makes me sad. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:17:02 I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm really sad about it. I'm really sad about it. It's weird. I'm going to be playing that when I go out. Like when I'm pre-gaming to go out, I listen to Kanye, get ready to go out, dance a little bit. Not anymore.
Starting point is 00:17:28 Yeah, I'm reading this. I'll be listening to Kanye on Sundays only. Oh, my God. I'm like thinking of this list will take you back. You know, like, when you would do, you were in like middle school and you had like youth ministry and all that jazz. Did you do that? Or was that just me? What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:17:49 You were a youth minister. I was a confirmation retreat leader. Were you? Sure it was. I, so we both went to Catholic private school. I will say I was never really picked to lead the class in any Catholic activity. Yeah. I was a confirmation retreat leader.
Starting point is 00:18:12 And I can just see like, I can just see, I can literally see the woman who is running. this take like Kanye's gospel songs to you know relate to the to the youths to the kids to be like yeah they'll be like youth ministry meetings of kids listen to Kanye oh youth group yeah okay you call it youth ministry yeah we call it youth group I know what you're talking about now like I only went to youth group but like twice I'm not going to right when you had to mandatory yes because you had to for confirmation you had to go to youth group at least twice yes and you and you and you know like the people who led those meetings and stuff? Yeah, that was me.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Oh, my God. So you were like when they came to the table with the activities. Oh, yeah. I was in charge of the kids that were, you know, like four years younger than me. Oh, Fran. Yeah, is that nice? That is nice. That is nice. That's nice.
Starting point is 00:19:08 I can picture that. Yeah, just a quick trip to memory lane. But like we were saying, I don't know, it's County West changes his mind all the time. He always says crazy things. and then doesn't follow through. Did you say County West? County what? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:19:23 Did I? I have no idea. I don't know. I might be hearing things. Kanye West. When Life of Pablo came out, I'm reading this article and they wrote, Kanye also claimed the Life of Pablo was a gospel album. So, I don't know what his definition of gospel album is.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Fran, you read my mind. Yesterday on the train, I was listening to The Life of Pablo. And I read the part where it was like, Ganya's gospel album. And then that's where I had a little bit of hope. I was like, this album was fucking fantastic. So if this is going to be the gospel album, sure, I'll take it. Ultra Light Beam, Chance the Rapper's part on Ultra Light Beam.
Starting point is 00:19:59 One of the greatest verses ever. Mm-hmm. You have no idea what I'm talking about. It's great. No, I know what you're talking about. I totally do. I just got super passionate about the album. You saw that.
Starting point is 00:20:09 I do. I saw it. I know exactly what you're talking about. I just, like you said, he considered that a gospel. album. So we consider that a gospel album. So guys, there's hope actually. So I take back my RIP Kanye. I take it back. Because if you like the life of Pablo
Starting point is 00:20:26 that's quote unquote a gospel album, even though it's not in my opinion. Yeah. Then maybe he'll make some good music still. You never know. A year from now, we could have a completely different Kanye than the one we have right now. Kanye could be going for like a slip knot kind of tune in a few years from now. We have no idea. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:44 Can't really, can't you can't predict it. No, you can't read his mind. No. Only he knows. I don't even think he knows. No, he definitely doesn't. Because I don't care when I'm with my baby, yeah. All the bad things disappear.
Starting point is 00:20:58 You're making me feel like maybe I am somebody. My baby, yeah. Have you ever had someone come up to you and say, you smell amazing? What perfume are you wearing? Fran, I know this happens to you all the time. People are like, Fran, Fran, friend, please tell me. What perfume are you wearing? Well, guess what, guys?
Starting point is 00:21:43 She's wearing stuff from scentbird. Centbird is amazing. With Semperd, I found a way to have great taste and mix up my fragrance routine without breaking the bank. Whether it's Tom Ford, Gucci, Versace, Semper.com keeps me smelling good month after month. I absolutely love scentbert. It's so easy to have this in your bag carrying out for a night out. You're on the go. I use the grace philosophy perfume. I keep that in my bag. It smells delicious. And there's so many other options that you can get. I got light blue. You got La Bona. That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:22:16 It's a classic. I like to change it up. You can get a few at certain times and you just, oh, I like the scent for going out. I like the scent for going to work. And you can keep them in your purse and they're so easy to carry around. Centberg is a luxury fragrance subscription service for perfumes and colognes. Haley and Justin Bieber, who are officially married for like a year now,
Starting point is 00:23:40 are actually They're actually having their wedding ceremony We can hear the church bells ringing Is that, why am I thinking of that song from Harrispray? I can hear the bells Wow, that was beautiful. That was good. I mean, I'm in shock how beautiful that was.
Starting point is 00:24:02 I don't even want to do it again Because that was so nice. Let's move on. Moving on. Phenomenal, wow. Okay, that just put me in the best mood for this topic. Justin and Haley. They're in South Carolina.
Starting point is 00:24:13 TMZ had pictures of, I guess, you know, this land that they are doing their actual ceremony at the Montague, montage, whatever the heck you say this, Palmetto Bluff, a private 20,000-acre estate that's nestled up against the May River and features tons of buildings, including two chapels. There's a small one, and then a large one which can see it up to 185 guests. They think that that's where it's going to be
Starting point is 00:24:43 because there was like a cleaning crew I guess last week that was wiping down the chapel cleaning everything up making sure everything looked good. It is the most scenic probably spot. Like this is so, it's so romantic. It's probably why they picked it. We were confused why they picked it.
Starting point is 00:25:04 It is really romantic. Beautiful, beautiful spot. Did you hear about how the hotel didn't let the hotel guests who had booked reservations for this weekend? They didn't let them know that the pool and spa and all of that would be closed for 48 hours until Wednesday this week. So people who had reservations at this hotel had no idea they wouldn't be able to use the amenities until Wednesday. They're offering like compensation, all that jazz if you're willing to come and bear the wrath of their wedding. Yeah. For some reason I was like not thinking.
Starting point is 00:25:37 that the accommodations would be like fantastic. Like they aren't there, where are, like I feel like they're just in such a random place. Well, no, it's like the people who were staying at this hotel not for their wedding. Oh. Like the people who had reservations at this hotel. Oh, oh. I got you. The pool and the spa are closed for.
Starting point is 00:25:57 Yes. The wedding. They're closed for Haley and Justin and their guests. They have all these activities planned for their wedding guests. Oh my. Sign me us are screwed. I would go to the hotel. Yes, but also like sign me up.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Like if I went to a hotel and they told me I'm so sorry, like you can't use the hot tub today because Haley and Justin Bieber have it roped off. Like I'd be like, fuck yeah. All right, I can't use the hot tub today. Maybe I'll catch a glimpse of Justin and Haley. Yeah, maybe I'll stare at them from my window or something. Yeah. You know?
Starting point is 00:26:27 Like that my eyes, like my eyes would light up. I'd be like, oh my God, Justin Haley are going to be. Justin Haley are staying in the same hotel as me? Yeah, yeah. Some people probably don't care about it as much as. us. Yeah, no. I'm sure if you're like older and you're just trying to have a nice vacation, maybe with your wife or your husband, then all of a sudden you run into a Bieber wedding. I feel like when, sometimes when parents hear Justin Bieber, they like cringe. Justin Bieber. They like cringe. So who
Starting point is 00:26:54 knows, but they're getting married. It looks fantastic. Haley had her bachelor at party. It did look like a great time. It looked like a fun time. Kendall Jenner went to, you know, like the sex shop and got penis everything. Penis everything. That'll never not be funny. No, it won't. And it's, it has to happen for every bachelor party. Yeah. We're going to be going to my sister's bachelor party in Vegas and there's going to be dicks everywhere. That will be my first time in Vegas and boy, will it be something. Oh, mine too actually. Well, I went to Vegas as a kid. Yeah, yeah. I was on the strip as a kid. My parents are like gambling. I'm just sitting there. 100% does not. No, it doesn't count. But we're going to be going back and partying our asses off in Vegas.
Starting point is 00:27:36 That's not for like till next year. So don't worry, everyone. No, don't worry. That's not till like May. But holy shit, will that be a good time? It's going to be a good ass time. So yeah, we'll see when the pictures come out. Very excited for this.
Starting point is 00:27:50 I cannot wait to see Haley in her dress. I'm not going to lie. Me too. She's going to look so beautiful. She looks so beautiful in like the $50 dress she wore for her bachelorette party. So beautiful. So like. And Justin, he's going to look handsome as hell.
Starting point is 00:28:05 He's making jokes. about on Instagram of like these ridiculous like suits and stuff that he's going to wear um I hope we I really hope he cleans up I really hope we get like he shaves looks nice watches his face takes a shower puts on a nice suit I think he will his wedding um I hope that we get a little glimpse of their vows. Mm hmm you know like a diplo situation diplo situation or somebody writes down exactly what they said and leaks it to TMC somebody like somebody's taking notes in the back. Somebody's taking notes exactly what Justin and Haley are saying to each other. I would take that. I would like a Diplo-esque event
Starting point is 00:28:43 where somebody Instagram lives, their wedding. I feel like they're going to take people's phones. Yeah, they totally are. It's Haley and Justin Bieber. Yeah. They're going to take people's phones. But they have been posting a lot on Instagram and I was shocked Haley even posted. I feel like Haley would sneakie want this to come out. Yeah. And true. I mean, she's married. You know Justin Bieber. And also she posted about her bachelor's art party, which I was wasn't expecting and Justin's been making jokes on Instagram. So maybe they will post something. I think this is such a happy event for them.
Starting point is 00:29:12 And Justin has been like way more active on social media than he has in the past that like this is something that he's going to want to talk about and share. Like I can see him immediately posting like a beautiful photo of them like at their wedding with some like very long rambling Instagram caption. You know? It's coming. About how much he loves this. Probably like Wednesday this week. Yeah. I like that prediction from us.

And right now, modern fertility is offering our listeners, $20 off the test when you go to
Starting point is 00:31:39 Modernfertility.com slash chicks. That's $20 off your fertility test when you go to Modernfertility.com slash chicks. Once again, modernfertility.com slash chicks. Let's move into the challenge, which I want to talk about quickly. I didn't really watch the whole episode, I'll be honest.
Starting point is 00:31:58 It was an hour and a half, which was... It was long. I had to get some pool in, so... Yeah, you have been really into the pool. I play every night. They're all an hour and a half. That's new. Is it not?
Starting point is 00:32:08 Or are they always an hour and a half? You know what? Maybe I haven't been thinking, it is a new thing, but maybe I've been thinking it's not an hour and a half because I haven't been watching live. So I've been skipping all the commercials. So it's been an hour. So I never watch live. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:32:21 Like I always. Well, the first time I watched live was last night. Yeah. MTV, I mean, not just MTV. Just every channel in general just has a ridiculous amount of commercials. But for stuff like MTV, I think has a lot of commercials. The most commercials. Like they go to commercial break so much.
Starting point is 00:32:37 many times. So when I normally, I'll either record it or I'll just watch on the MTV app the next day. And they show like the whole length of episode. It's an hour. Like the episodes start to finish are an hour. You get 30 minutes of commercials when you watch it live. So I'm like this is 30 minutes of commercials for an hour. Like it's ridiculous. So I did watch without commercials. So it's just so much easier to fly through it. Way better. Yeah, well, I wish that I did that. But I also, it's okay. I watched live.
Starting point is 00:33:10 I didn't watch the whole thing, but I did watch the most important part. Yeah, yeah. The elimination. I saw what happened. Once again, US won. US is just dominating the UK. Yeah. And all the challenges, 100%.
Starting point is 00:33:24 Besides last week and last week, the US won just because the UK cheated. Yeah. The US is also like they're winning every challenge, but then they're eliminating their own people. Yeah. And it's honestly, that's going to come back to bite them in the ass guaranteed. It's going to come back to bite them. And it just pissed me off because first off, we lost Wes, which I'm okay with. Like, I'm not the biggest West fan, but I do know that Wes makes the show more interesting.
Starting point is 00:33:51 Like when he's on it, it's way, way more interesting. Then we lost Laurel, who you weren't really a fan of. But I think that Laurel is a strong player. And also she calls his drama. Right. And she's a hot head and adds to the show. Yeah. And then we lose fucking Johnny Bananas, who makes the show, like, if you are, if you say otherwise, you're lying.
Starting point is 00:34:14 Because Polly votes him in when he said he wasn't going to do that, all because of his girlfriend, Cara Maria. And Johnny goes home because he fucked up or else he would have won. If he put the balls in correctly, he would have been ahead of Theo. He would have won. But he fucked up. He's rookie mistake by him and Laurel last week. Like the OGs need to pay attention more because they think that they're so high up and they don't need to be careful. They're just making rookie mistakes at this point that are getting them kicked off the show.
Starting point is 00:34:45 Totally. I mean, to have West Laurel and Johnny bananas three in a row like that when there are so many people on the show still who like we have no idea who they are or it's their first time ever being on the show. And now they're in like weeks into the show. It's like crazy that they're all still around. Why would you vote in one of your strongest players? Because, like, I have always liked Caramaria. She is obviously a very good competitor. But in the recent season, she's just been, like, the boy who cried Wolf all the time.
Starting point is 00:35:13 Like, she's always the victim. Somebody's always out to get her. Like, she's whining about Johnny bananas. Like, Johnny hasn't done nothing, has done nothing to her all season. She's like, Johnny threw a challenge. Like, that's karma for throwing a challenge. Like, get over it. Yeah, I just, you're right.
Starting point is 00:35:32 She's acting like a baby. She's crying. Her and Polly dating is the most annoying thing ever. They can't do anything without making a decision with each other, which I get, but also, like, you're allowed to not agree on who you want to vote for. And Polly literally shook Josh's hand and was like, if I am the speaker of the tribunal, I promise I'm not sending somebody from our own team. And they shook on it. It was like a whole thing because they were trying to decide if they wanted Josh to be the speaker. for Polly to be the speaker.
Starting point is 00:36:03 And Polly and Josh are like legitimate friends outside of the show from Big Brother. And so they like shake on it. And then they, of course, like, Polly tries to throw some power move with like his stupid. He's like, so Rogan, I'm throwing Johnny in. I was like, you suck. Like you want to act like Johnny Bananas is playing for the other team when you are playing for the other team by voting your own team members and you assholes. Like you're just a bunch of idiots because,
Starting point is 00:36:31 Now you're also working for them. Right. Like, don't you want to eliminate more people on the other team so that you have a better chance of winning? I know. I can't. The people on this show are so fucking stupid sometimes. Kara seemed like so salty that Josh had a personal vendetta against Wes.
Starting point is 00:36:47 So, so that's why she was, that's why he was able to send Wes home. But Kara can't send home Johnny for her personal vendetta. I'm like, why is this even a thing? It was a personal vendetta. Like, you, we had proof of Wes. literally saying like Josh is disposable, like I'm going to get rid of him, whatever. That's, that's fine. I get that.
Starting point is 00:37:07 But like, Johnny literally didn't do anything to Carr, so it's just like, get over it. Right. Get over it. And also, like, I do understand where they were coming from with West, but I also am on the same thing of you guys are trying to get rid of the other team. Like, you are trying to make that other team have as less people as possible so that you can win. Take out the other team first.
Starting point is 00:37:30 Take out the other team and then take out your team so that you could win. Like, what are you doing? They're not, the U.S. team, even though they're winning, are not planning together correctly. No, no. It's frustrating. And it's like, it's, Johnny had a great tweet last night because he, I guess he had, you know, a video saved of like one of Cara's Instagram stories when maybe it was last year or something. Johnny had sent her flowers at her new apartment. And she was like, oh, bananas.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Like, the melted heart. Like, thank you so much. like whatever and she was really like heartfelt in the video and it went along with her you know when they were out talking to Josh being like do you know like how much Johnny has put me through like what what are you talking about and then I just the way she rubs it in Johnny's face after and her her interviews after I just she's like it's karma I'm like what it's not karma not karma it was weird I wish he would have won so badly because Because it would have been...
Starting point is 00:38:31 So bad. If he really did switch and move to Team UK, it would have been insane. He would have been so sick. Because that's a Johnny Banana's move and it would have been amazing. Chuck actually texted me last night. I can't believe you missed that opportunity. Better go to UK. And we just miss out on the opportunity.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Chuck also said the producers need to cheat better for Johnny Bonanas. Have to cheat better for Johnny Bonanus. Because he's just, he can't win an elimination lately. Like each season now, he just loses an elimination. people are calling it the Johnny Banana's curse ever since he took the money. He's been going home pretty early in some of these seasons. He's been going home early, but like Johnny Banana's curse. Like Ashley also did the same thing to Hunter and Ashley was fine.
Starting point is 00:39:13 Totally. I just, it was tough to watch because now there's so many UK people and I like the UK people. I do. But like so many of them I just don't care. Edris, Jenny. Like who I don't know who these people are. I don't really care that much about them. Right.
Starting point is 00:39:28 And there's so many more that could have been sent home by if the U.S. actually voted the other players in and not your own freaking team. I can't imagine voting in somebody from my own team. Yeah. Like that's just personal drama that you shouldn't be taking into the show. And it's like... It's a challenge.
Starting point is 00:39:44 It's a game. Like you're not playing the game right. And it's so annoying because Carra was like so against sending home people from their team. She was like crying when they sent West home. They were like, why are we sending it? why aren't we working as a team? And then I guess maybe Johnny just got under her skin because Johnny was like, we're not a team.
Starting point is 00:40:03 Like that's obviously we're all working with our, as ourselves. Like we're not a team. But she's the one who like made such a big deal about sending home people from their own team. She was like, what's the point of sending people from our own team home? And then when she got the opportunity to send somebody home that she wanted to,
Starting point is 00:40:22 she took it. So it's like, just, it's bullshit. And now we have to watch this season. I hope that they're... With no Johnny and no West, it's pretty annoying. It's pretty boring. And I just hope that there is some type of house that these people are waiting at that they're going to bring back midseason. I don't think so, but there have been seasons where all of a sudden, like, it's like, oh, they've actually been in this house the whole time.
Starting point is 00:40:46 Redemption. Redemption house? Yeah. I mean, the chances of that actually being... I feel like they're definitely gone. I know. Because when there has been a redemption house, they, like, talk about the redemption house, you know? like the redemption house is still like part of the show
Starting point is 00:41:00 but maybe it's a sneaky redemption house that's what I'm saying like maybe it's in a redemption house that hasn't been brought up yet yeah yeah it would be a good twist because they're going to have to come up with something because it's legitimately going to get boring I mean yeah when you don't have Wes or Johnny bananas on what are we doing like people are just going to just genuinely like genuinely play the game and that's boring it's boring like where Georgia I love you so cute But if George is just like doing her thing, trying her best, like being nice to people, like that's, that's no fun.
Starting point is 00:41:32 It's not fun. That's why Johnny Bananas brings an element to the show. Wes brings an element to the show. Laurel brings an element to the show. All three of those people were huge players. Yeah. We lost them all. Within the first four weeks of the show.
Starting point is 00:41:44 Yeah. Some bullshit. Oh, really is. Some bullshit. I think there's something all of us can agree on. Nurses, doctors, dentists, and people who work in medicine and health care are pretty awesome. And all of us can think of a time when a medical professional helped us or a family member. These amazing people dedicate their lives to caring for and serving others.
Starting point is 00:42:35 Shouldn't these amazing people wear scrubs that make them feel good? We sure think so. What these amazing people do every day is more than a job and what they wear is more than a uniform. So it should be comfortable and stylish. Both my sister and my mom work in the medical field. His new book Over the Top was just released. Jonathan, we are huge fans of you. We are so happy to have you here today. Thank you. We are so excited. And this book, first of all, talk about the name and how you came up with the name of this book.
Starting point is 00:44:50 Well, I'd been writing the book for like, probably like six or seven. months and I was like, it was coming to the time where like I needed to like get the name together. Like I had like, I was like writing the book. I had a deadline for the book. So like, okay, got to like, get like, what is the title? And it kind of just like came to me one night because over the top was something that I had been described as like my whole life in like a very like kind of negative way. And I felt like, um, I was like, what if being over the top is like gorgeous? And it's like not, it was just gorgeous. So I was like, I think that's what it is. Because also, sometimes when I think about my life, I'm like, God, this has been a lot.
Starting point is 00:45:29 So it felt like duly fitting. Yeah, right. Well, I love how over the top you are. I love the name of the book. And you obviously talk a lot of stuff about this book. How was the writing process? Because obviously, there was a lot in there. How did you decide what you were going to put in there?
Starting point is 00:45:49 Well, at first it was kind of more like about just writing everything. and it was a lot of like, for a lot of months, it was like just kind of writing creatively, like, every day, like every morning, just like getting stuff out that was just like on my mind that I wanted to write about. And then I did that for like months and then wrote like 100,000 something words and was like, oh my God, how do I organize this? Like, I don't know. Like, I'm great at writing stuff, but I don't know how to organize it. So then I was like, okay, I really got to focus on making like an outline and like organizing this and figuring out like what do I want to talk about. What do I not want to talk about? Like, what's my arc? And then as I got like a quarter of the way through that, I was like, I really need help. So then I really got like, like started so then I like um like got like got some help together and then um really like went through and like began editing like for like from everything that I had written initially and just like really like figuring like what I wanted to focus on and what I wanted to really like dig into. Um, and then I would say that like the best way to describe it was like putting your soul in a blender like every or like a food processor like every day for like a few hours. Um, I think chapters like eight, nine and ten where I'm talking about some of, you know, like my harder times and some of my best.
Starting point is 00:46:52 bigger losses and bigger, like, shifts in life. Um, where, like, I've never, like, really edited or, like, really deeply worked on one of those chapters and, like, not, like, cried and, and, like, it just, like, they're. So, but I think that means that it, you know, it touched me and it, and making it touched me. And I also think that, like, you can hear me in it. Like, if you or someone who, like, knows me, like, you will, like, this book is, like, it is just so me through and through. And so that feels like I'm proud of that because I was like hard to get there. Yeah, that's amazing because like you said, there are some pretty tough chapters and there's a
Starting point is 00:47:29 lot of things that I think nobody knew about you because they've just watched queer. They've seen you as this, this very happy guy. So like you said, there are times when you cried writing these chapters. How has the response been? Because obviously the book is out now and the stories have been picked up by the press a lot. What has the response been like to some of those? revelations. It's been mostly, you know, really overwhelmingly positive, but I think that it's important to think about how we talk about, like, like, I have heard so much of like, you know, people think of
Starting point is 00:48:01 you as this really, like, happy, like, you know, a various person. And one of the points of the book that I'm trying to make is that, like, even though I'm someone who is HIV positive and is a survivor of sexual abuse and is, you know, someone who has lived through the things that I've lived through in the book, like, that doesn't make me not a happy person. Totally. And that doesn't make me someone who's not capable of experiencing, like, huge amounts of joy and work hard. And, like, there's, I just think that, like, in something I talk about in the book, like a common theme is, like, that for me, a lot of my joy and a lot of my happiness can live right next door to some of the stuff that has caused me the most suffering.
Starting point is 00:48:35 And I can cycle through those things. And, like, and I think anyone can. Yeah. Like, I think we all, the human experience is such a layered and complex, you know, thing. And we all have experienced it in different ways. But I think that there's a lot of levels to that. and it's not really like so much of like a black and white thing. So really what I wanted to do here in writing this book was like showing all of the other sides to myself and really showing that like,
Starting point is 00:48:58 you know, the 20 collective minutes of screen time that I have in Queer Eye is not the totality of like who I am. Yeah. That is me. And I do love talking about hair and I do love talking about self-care and ingredients and symmetry and corrective hair color and skincare. I love all that. But there's also a million other things that I love that I want to talk about. And I think generally like what I've learned is, is that, like, from what we think we know about people, there's actually, like, so much more kind of going on and there, and everyone has more layers. And even in saying that, it's kind of made me where you think, like, times where I've been like, why did that person do that? It's, like, so messed up. Like, when I've really been, like, irritated it. It's certain people.
Starting point is 00:49:33 I'm like, oh, like, maybe they, like, did a lot of other things. Or they're like a really, maybe they aren't a nightmare or whatever. Like, maybe I don't know so much about everything that, you know, the complexity of what that person is facing and going through. So there's that too. Right. Right. Definitely. Well, I think that you are so inspiring for so many reasons. And because of what you have talked about in your book. And like you said, because of all these things, it doesn't mean that you're not a happy person. You're still a very happy person. And I feel like that's really great for some people who are going through the same stuff as you to read because I feel like some people think this is happening to me. This is happening to me. I just can't be happy. But you have found that. And is there anything that you would tell people who are going through the same thing as you, like how to. how to navigate it? I think therapy really helps. I think doing things that bring you joy really help, like things that I can look forward to, like, my little figure skating moments or little, like, gymnastics moments.
Starting point is 00:50:28 Like, that's why I do it so religiously. I mean, well, part of why I have to do the gymnastics so religiously is because I did put a gymnastics routine in the middle of my stand-up act. Because I realized halfway through two hours, like, oh, my God, I have like a whole audience who, like, can't really totally leave in the middle of the show. I mean, I guess they really could if they hated it. But like, I was like, as long as I have a bunch of people, like sitting here in one place, like, honey, let me heal my inner childhood.
Starting point is 00:50:47 of my father who would not watch me in my gorgeous Mariah Carey routine, honey. My dad wouldn't, but my stepdad would. So someone would, it was fine. But now it's to the point. Yes. Yeah, I love it. So, but now I kind of have to do the till I'm
Starting point is 00:51:00 just to make sure that I don't like puke after my routine, which sometimes I am barf adjacent because it is really difficult to pull out like, you know, a minute and 20 seconds. Because, you know, I use, I use Alliezenman's floor music from the 2016 Rio Olympics, which is like, it turns out to be like
Starting point is 00:51:17 this like Russian navel song. But it really, I give my best. But that's why I, so the gymnastics is like a little bit work, but mostly self-care. And the figure skating is really all just gorgeous self-care and like childhood joy. But I also go like, I'm really into meditation. I'm really into yoga. And like working out generally, like anything to like get me like some endorphins really helps.
Starting point is 00:51:38 I love that. Because I mean, we watched you figure skating on queer eye. And therapy. And therapy so much. That's like the biggest one. Yes. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:45 And we do know there's so many things now. like if therapy is in something that has been like, um, classically financially available for you, there are so many, uh, places and resources that we can go to. Yeah. We can seek out referrals and,
Starting point is 00:51:58 you know, immediate emergency things, especially like Trevor Project Honey. And like, I think that is, especially for LGBTQ youth or people that, um, are experiencing like,
Starting point is 00:52:06 you know, an emergency situation. Well, really that's 911. But also like if you're like feeling really, like isolated and just very alone, I think places like the Trevor project have so many incredible resources that can help you right now, but then can also point you in the
Starting point is 00:52:21 direction of more long-term relational building care that can really help us navigate some of these really difficult situations that there is just frankly no rule or no manual for. So yeah. But yes, figure skating. Let's talk about figure skating. As I was going to say on this last season of Queer, we got to see you figure skate. How much of a dream come true is that? I am waiting to like stop being so starstruck and like freaked out by my friendship with Michelle Kwan. I'm just, I'm always flabbergasted. buy it. And I'm like, I can't believe she wants to be my friend. But yeah, it was just like so much fun. And I love figure skating so much. I can't believe that I got to pick it up at that time in my life.
Starting point is 00:52:55 And I didn't know like what an enemy summer was to like figure skating rink hours. It's a nightmare trying to be an adult figure skater with a busy schedule in the summertime. Winter fall, there's like just more availability. The summer, it's like the hours. They all go like you because like in the wintertime it's like all the time. But then in the summer, honey, they only do like five, six, seven in the morning and then everyone is there and you have to share with all the hockey players and whatever town you're in and so it's just there's all this competition for the ice yeah and you really so you just have a little corner yeah and well no because if it's hockey time you know you just can't go it's not being skating time and then it's just like there's only like three hours in the morning it's like it's like it's no outside rings if you are an outside ring person it's just it's like
Starting point is 00:53:35 that's a whole other podcast yeah yeah so you are really missing out on on ice skating right now because the summer just happened and you haven't gotten your fix it i've only gotten to go like once a week or like once every other week or like actually think that's even like an over-exaggeration. I feel like I went like four times, maybe four or five times all summer, but really before the summer I was going like every morning. Wow. It was like my yoga from like November until May. Yeah. So do you think you're going to start it back up? Oh yeah, yeah. Yeah. 100%. Yeah. I also spraying the shit out of my ankle on Memorial Day, which also that made me like I actually couldn't physically get my left ankle on a boot for like six weeks because I kept
Starting point is 00:54:12 tumbling on my tour every weekend. So I like stayed off it for like eight days to, be able to do some stuff and then it was, I needed to talk about not my ankle so much because I'll be here for three hours. Yeah. The ankle like made it in more of an issue. Yeah. And in the first, the first episode, we saw you go back to your high school. And now I think seeing the book and the storage in the book, that makes that episode even greater and more important. How was it to go back to your school? It was really very, I mean, when I said to Kathy on the couch, I was like, this has been so healing. It really very much was.
Starting point is 00:54:46 I mean, for me personally. And I mean, I think healing, comma, vindicating. Right. There was, like, you know, both. But it was like, to be able to, like, have that positive experience in that school and kind of, like, you know, also show, like, all the other kids in that school that, like, there is, like, I don't think, like, Quincy High School has ever had, like, a big, like, camera crew like that or kind of had, like, that particular experience. So that was kind of cool to just, like, to literally show all the kids. It's, like, there's sound engineers and camera people and producers. And there's, like, there's all these, like, a whole other world.
Starting point is 00:55:16 that like they maybe wouldn't have seen. So, I mean, on a on a Quincy level, I was like, this is fun. But then also the conversations that inspired in Quincy between Quincy and I think was really, really important and good. But for me personally, it really was very healing. But it was also like, you know, like at the end of the night, like every night there, I mean, it was very just like. Right.
Starting point is 00:55:38 And there was a lot of times where it was just like, okay, you're okay. Like you are not in high school. Like you are in your high school, but you're not physically there. Like you are a 31. You are like, you're like 32 or 32 at the time, or I can't remember when October God thinks have been so best. I was thinking I was like 31 right then. So it's like I did need to kind of remind myself because it was triggering and it was hard. And there was like trepidation around like when the idea was brought like, you know, how do you feel about Quincy?
Starting point is 00:56:02 But then when I found out that it was Kathy, honey, that haircut has been really wanting to get my hand on for a long time. So I was really into like brave it. Yes, totally. It was worth it for that haircut. Yes. It really was. And I've cut it twice since. She came to my radio city show with my mom.
Starting point is 00:56:16 which was so fun. And I've gotten to send some time with her. So we just did her haircut right before she was on the Today Show and she came like when the season came out. So that was really fun. Love that. Something else you mentioned in your book was that you were the first male cheerleader in your high school, right? Yeah. What was that like at the time?
Starting point is 00:56:33 I was a cheerleader as well. You were? Yes, I was. What did you cheer for? Football and basketball. Could you tumble? I could do a backhand spring. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:41 Standing backhand spring and round up at hand spring? Just a standing backhand spring and round up at handspring? Okay, were. Okay. I loved cheerleading so much. It, uh, really it was, I think my freshman year when I first made the squad, like it was, it was a lot harder because people were like really like vitriolic and like mean, especially like, you know, boys my age, like I was a freshman in high school.
Starting point is 00:57:02 It was like, it was really rough. Um, but then I was like, okay, if I'm going to like make this squad to do this, like, let me try to like really figure out like how to hurl my body like upside down and like try to be able to like do some flip stuff I'm going to be out here and like, let me try to figure to pick up these freaking girls and, like, try to do something because then maybe, like, I was like, maybe I can prove my validity that way. Um, and then I like, like, did. Like, I finally learned how to tumble and I, like, finally, like, learned how to, like,
Starting point is 00:57:25 get some cute stunts together. And then I think people, like, saw me kind of get better at it. And then slowly, but surely, like, people just started to, like, kind of accept it and think that it was cuter. And, uh, like, and then I feel like, the tide kind of really did switch for me a little bit in within high school and getting, and kind of getting into that group of girls. And then they were like, no, like, they, they, kind of became my allies. And they're like, no, he's the hard worker. He does this. And he,
Starting point is 00:57:48 you know, like, so I think that was kind of cool. And also, like, in the book, I talk about how, like, I really begged and begged and begged my mom to get me into gymnastics when I was little. And then there was this, like, like, kind of like, like, like, troop of boys that would go to, like, local basketball games and, like, perform during the halftime. But they would, like, like, do flips and, like, dunk basketballs into the thing. And so it was kind of, like, a very, like, a heteronormative way of, like, making this, like, tumbling trooper or whatever. Yeah. But, like, I was, like, one of the boys that, like, really couldn't do anything. And I was, like, young and I was very, like, cute and soft and couldn't, like, do, like, anything. And I, like, but the other boys were, like, I thought I was going to be this, like, oasis of, like, you know, other Shannon Miller obsessed, like, magnificent seven, like, obsessed, like, little baby boys who were just, like me, like, trying to figure out to do, like, a back walkover. And it was, like, it was probably, like, six or seven boys. And they were, like, they were all, like, very butch, hetero. boys who were very threatened by anyone who wanted to, like, put scrunchies in their hair and, like, wear a lot of hairspray and, like, be, you know, doing vaults and your chinkos and stuff, which, you know, wasn't what you're there for. So that was rough to realize that, like, I really couldn't tumble. And I ended up, like, quitting because, like, they, like, kind of were so mean. And I kind of got, like, a little bit, like, a little baby bit, like, bullied by the coach. And so I just coming back and learning how to tumble, like, you know, like, nine years later, like, I was like, that was kind of a thing. Because I think, you know, learning how to tumble, like, 15 was, was like,
Starting point is 00:59:14 like later than most people. And that's, I think, part of, like, why I can still do it now because it, like, took me so long to learn in the first place. It's like, my body still remember. Yeah, you can still do it at all. Yeah, I do it on Instagram all the time. And I do it in my, I do it in my, like, my comedy tour. Because I was like, oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:59:27 And once I wasn't a single cat parent, like, doing hair full time, like, which is what I was doing, like, prior to queer eye, like, I was like, oh, if I break a wrist or finger now, like, it's okay. Like, I'm not doing hair all the time. So, like, I could figure it out, like, I could still feel, like, feed my cats with a wrist injury. Right. That's very important. So did you have, obviously you have the Fab Five in Queer Eye and you guys are very close.
Starting point is 00:59:52 We've had Tan on the show. He mentioned that you FaceTime him five times a day. Is that true? Yeah. Not every day, but like often. It depends on how it depends on like what's going on. I feel like I maybe have been doing it more lately because we were filming all summer and now we're not. And I think I just miss it. Yeah, the FaceTime spike like. after we've been setting a lot of time together and then like we're not together. Yeah. You need to get that time in. My Tammy. Right.
Starting point is 01:00:18 Because he was cute because he, he talked about meeting you guys all for the first time through casting and whatnot. And we asked him like, who did you think you were not going to get along with? And he was like, Jonathan. He was like, I really did not think that we would get along. And he's like, I was so wrong.
Starting point is 01:00:34 It's so amazing now. When you met the whole cast, did you think like this is amazing? Or were you like, oh, I don't know if I'm going to be able to mesh with these guys. Oh no. I was like really attracted to everyone and like was really, they're all very hot.
Starting point is 01:00:48 I was like I was like I really end everyone and no I actually really like didn't. I really liked everyone and I really wanted like those people to get it. Yeah. So you know that wasn't my experience. Yeah. That's amazing. I just think you guys all being so close
Starting point is 01:01:04 makes the show so much better, you know? Because like you guys really seem like such a family unit which is so nice. Yeah. We are. We've sent a lot of time together. We've been to like three continents and they've been to four which they don't forget about mentioning because I didn't get to go to the UK trip with them so I didn't get to Europe with them. It was just so rude
Starting point is 01:01:24 but we've been to three continents together and we've been to like and we've been to like we know lots of states together and yeah so I just I wouldn't rather go through with anyone else. So you've been through a lot with them and season five should be coming soon season four is out now. Yes. And your book over the top is out. And your podcast. And your podcast. Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Nameded for
Starting point is 01:01:47 People's Choice Award. It is. It is. Did it get nominated the year before? Yeah. We were nominated last year. We didn't get nominated this year. It's okay. Ew. Yeah, I know. That's all right. It's all right. It's all right. No, I'm flipping these tables over. Why are they sleeping on you? I don't know. We made it. We made it to the finals. We were there. I don't know what happened.
Starting point is 01:02:09 I feel like they're not doing that final thing this year. No. I'm Well, they nominated less podcast this year. But they've not doing it for any of them. I think it was like one round. Yeah. Yeah. It was a lot of voting less.
Starting point is 01:02:20 It was a lot of voting. We were harassing our listeners so much. Way too much. It was so many rounds. We were like, we're so sorry, guys, but you got to vote again. We really need it. I almost felt relieved when it was done. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:31 So we'll tell everyone of all our listeners to just vote for you now. Thanks, Queens. I appreciate it. Of course. Thanks for time. And thank you so much for joining us. Everybody check out over the top. All right.
