Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. This is state of emergency. What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Wia. Ria and France. Can we keep that Friday energy on a Monday?
Starting point is 00:00:30 See, I was in my head about doing the intro, and then I stumbled on it. That was tough. Kelly Kiggs, you're here with us today. Yes, I am. Hey guys, it's Fran. Ria is not here, unfortunately. She's very upset about it. There was a death in Marty's family.
Starting point is 00:00:47 So she is being very supportive and has to be at all events. Which is very nice. And funeral. Yeah, of course. Yeah, of course. That's something that is a must attend. Absolutely. You know, have to be at all those things.
Starting point is 00:01:04 100%. So she, Wake was. yesterday funeral today. So very busy couple days for Rhea. But she did, of course, send a statement to Kelly and I that I will read from her. She says,
Starting point is 00:01:19 Hello guys, Ria speaking. I apologize not being able to be there today. The last thing I would want to do is miss the second episode of the year. But unfortunately, this was unavoidable. I've called in my most trusted fill-in, pop culture and bachelor extraordinaire Kelly Kegan,
Starting point is 00:01:35 aka Kelly Kiegs, who shines like the life from the sun. Shout out Lizzie McGuire movie. I hope she comes out with her hottest takes that people will love and also get mad at. Please don't miss me too much, but I will miss all of you. Talk Wednesday. Chow! That's a really sweet. It was a really sweet note that she said. I appreciate that she trusts me to fill in and I appreciate that you guys trust me to fill in as well. We do. I love coming on. You know that. We absolutely do. Yes. So I think she was upset because she just, you know her. She was like, I'm so pumped to get back in the swing of things. I saw her. I saw her post it.
Starting point is 00:02:07 When I saw her recording personal videos to post on about how excited she was to get back, I was like this, but she needs something to do. Exactly. She's got a lot to say. Exactly. Yeah. So she was sad to miss this. The timing we just could not figure out.
Starting point is 00:02:20 So Kelly, you are here. I am. How are you? I'm doing all right. I'm hanging out. This week is so much better than last week. I'll tell you that much, Fran. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:28 Last week I just could not get my brain right. I was saying it all week long. And I know that everybody says that when they come back from a holiday situation. No, I'm a big. It's hard for me. I'm a big advocate for the new year
Starting point is 00:02:43 doesn't start until like a weekend to January. Until the week later, yeah. Because you have to because it's outrageous. For me it's like a throwaway week still. Like because we came back and it's Tuesday, Wednesday, it's not a full week.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Like this is the first full week of January. Yes. And once I have the full week, I'm like, all right, now I can start to plan my whole week. Yeah, exactly. It was still kind of a weird week. It was bizarre. Yeah, it was also, yeah, people were
Starting point is 00:03:14 in and out, people were coming in a couple days later, you know, some people were coming in early, some people worked over break. Like, it's just, it was a funky time, whatever, but I do think that the rest was well needed. And I got all my things done yesterday. I had a very productive Sunday. I don't know about you.
Starting point is 00:03:30 But the first and a long time, I've had a productive Sunday. I wish I did that. And so I woke up today. I wouldn't say bright eyes. and bushy-tailed, but close, as close as I can be to that. That is very good. I really was fairly lazy this weekend. I am. Do you go out at all?
Starting point is 00:03:47 Yeah, Saturday I did a little, but... A little rage? I was just mostly sitting on my butt on the couch, watching TV. And relaxing, chillaxing. I did the same. I just watched football day, Sunday. That's a good day. And that's a calm day.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Yeah, it was. I did yesterday, to be honest. It was. I listened to a lot of Harry Potter, as always. Yeah. I, what did I watch? Oh, you know what I'm watching right now for the first time all the way through? I've seen episodes and I know all the characters and it's like one of my dad's favorite shows, but the Sopranos.
Starting point is 00:04:22 I've never watched a Sopranos start to finish. And so it's just been on kind of like in my house. Yeah. And I like it. It almost makes me feel this sounds insane because my family is not like this, but it does make me feel like homey. I don't know why. It's just New Jersey I think it's New Jersey
Starting point is 00:04:37 And to be fair My grandparents kind of sound like that My grandparents grew up in Hoboken and Newark So it kind of sounds like them Yeah And it just gives me those vibes So it's a little homie while I'm like making my dinner That's nice
Starting point is 00:04:48 It is a great show It is one of those ones where I think For some people it takes a while To do it It's either like you did it right away Yeah I think I watched in
Starting point is 00:05:01 I want to say lockdown I think I did Oh yeah yeah Joe and I did it for the first time. Well, he had seen it, but I hadn't. Yeah. So it was like, okay. Lockdown is when I went through all the housewives.
Starting point is 00:05:12 Yeah. That was my, I did a lot of that too. And Love Island. I did a lot of that too. I was really dedicated to reality TV at that time. No, I'm happy about it. How was it? Oh yeah, no, what's up?
Starting point is 00:05:22 It was good. Hung out with some bars to people on Friday. Oh my God, that's right. You guys all went to dinner. No, I meant to ask you like, how are you feeling after hanging out with celebrities? Like, do you feel good? Tommy smokes and Jeffty low. Excuse me?
Starting point is 00:05:38 I was like so lucky to sit next to Tommy smokes. Honestly, though. Did you get his autograph at least? I got a picture with him, which is awesome. Oh, thank God. Okay, good, good. That's better. That's the modern autograph anyway.
Starting point is 00:05:48 But, thank God. That was good. And Saturday, my sister and her friend stayed in my apartment. Oh, that's fun. Parte. Yeah. Not like I didn't go out with them or anything, but they just needed a place to stay. Yeah, my brother does that with me all the time.
Starting point is 00:06:04 So. Did you feel cool? That's very, that was coming. Yeah. I always feel cool whenever my brother comes from it gets to say.
Starting point is 00:06:10 And I also was like putting a cap on the number of people she could have stay. I'm like, you don't get to have like five friends in my. Yeah, that's absurd.
Starting point is 00:06:16 I think that's fair. Well, my family was trying to tell me like, my dad was trying to be like, like whatever she wants to do. I'm like, no. You get like one or two friends. How many?
Starting point is 00:06:25 Yeah. Also, you don't know about yourself, do you? No, you do. Yeah. But it's like, but you can't have that much room.
Starting point is 00:06:30 I would say is your apartment big enough to house five girls? It actually is kind of like a lot of air mattresses. Yeah, what? No, my couch is kind of big though, but no, I'm not doing it. Five people. Yeah, I just like still want that. I would, I would cap it at two. I'd be like, I'd be like, Sam, you can, it's you and one other friend.
Starting point is 00:06:47 Yeah. And that's the max I can stay at my house. I don't need five people cycling in and out of the one bathroom that I have. That's insane. I think I could do three. Yeah. I guess it just depends on the size for your apartment, I guess. Yeah, I guess so.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Damn, I didn't know you had it like that. Yeah, it's like, five. No problem. Last I heard you were like, you were like with 12 roommates in the West Village. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, Dana and I used to live in the closet. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But no, no, didn't really do much.
Starting point is 00:07:12 We walked to the, we walked around the Upper West Side a little bit. Damn, who should call me? Central Park, went to PJ Clark's. Oh, my God, yum, though. Delicious, that's nice. Oh, you know what I did see over the weekend? Don't tell my brother, because I was supposed to see it with him, and I went over there, and I saw it, Megan.
Starting point is 00:07:28 And it was so fucking good. It was unbelievable. I'm glad you brought that up because I, my jaw was on the floor when I saw, Ria and I were texting about it in our group chat. We were like, because that fucking trailer would play towards the end of Baxter and Paradise. And literally I had to close my eyes. I was like, what is this? I don't like her at all.
Starting point is 00:07:52 She's freaking me out. And I was like, there's no way this is a good movie. It's impossible. There's just no way. And then all the reviews started piling. It's got like a 96% of rotten tomatoes. Everybody's talking about how good it is. All like Maude Apatow posts on our story was so good.
Starting point is 00:08:09 Lily Reinhart posted on her story like 10 out of 10, like great movie. And everybody's talking about how good it is. It's excellent. And now I have you to back it up too. It was all things. I've been describing it as like spooky, funny, smart and like a thriller. And there's murder. Like there's murder in it.
Starting point is 00:08:27 It's a little gory towards the end. But like, have you ever seen? Did you watch The Twilight Zone growing up? No. There's an episode of The Twilight Zone about a talking doll named Talking Tina. And when the doll is not with the kid and only like the dad is around, the doll has a bad attitude. And it'll say like, my name's Talking Tina. And I didn't like that when like the, you know, when the dad is like throwing it down the stairs and like whatever.
Starting point is 00:08:51 And it's very much like that, but extremely modern. Like obviously Megan is like this robot. that is just getting smarter than anybody anticipated. And so that's the issue. But I saw it. The theater was like full of people. And you laugh. There's like moments where you laugh a lot.
Starting point is 00:09:10 There's moments where you're terrified. There's moments where you're just like, this is interesting. Like it's very good. Alison Williams does an amazing job. And yeah, I'm going to definitely go see it again. Like I said, my brother, I didn't tell him I saw it. But he's going to be upset with me because he wanted to come in and see it.
Starting point is 00:09:24 And I told him I was too tired. And I was like, you should come next weekend. and then I went, oops. Oh, well. I live so close to the theater now. Yeah, I saw. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I saw, which, like, they don't have good seats, by the way.
Starting point is 00:09:37 They always forget that. I think they have one theater that has a good theater. Oh, they do. Yeah, yeah, the avatar was in there. Yeah. And I was like, yeah, I should go see Avatar just for the nice seats. Yeah, I was pissed off. And I forget every fucking time, but it's right by my house.
Starting point is 00:09:49 So I'm like, oh, I'm obviously going to go here. Also, I heard that Sinapolis is closing. I heard a rumor. I hope it's a nasty rumor because I love that theater. in Chelsea on like 23rd Street. It's close to, it's fairly close. It's like 23rd, it's like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:05 I am just an avid, just an AMC. Well, I know. Because the Lincoln Center one is AMC and I was sitting there and I was waiting on a 12 hour line for popcorn and I said, when I saw Don't worry darling with Fran, we had the AMC premiere and we were able to cut the fucking line. And I had
Starting point is 00:10:21 wished you were there at that time. In my head, I almost texted you like, damn, waiting on line blows. Well, I saw, I saw a review that was like, Like, it said Megan was like a Terminator and Clueless and combined. And I was like, what? That's a pretty good. Yeah, that's a pretty good descriptor, I guess. She's very, you know, she's supposed to be sweet.
Starting point is 00:10:45 Yeah. But it's like menacing, you know? Is it animated? No, it's like CGI. Her face is CGI, but her body is real. So I looked it up because I was so curious, like, who is playing this doll? Right. It's one girl does the voice and then a different.
Starting point is 00:10:57 girl is the body and she wears like a I looked into this whole thing she wears like a face mask and then they see she superimpose the face on her does she move like a human or is she moving no she moves like a human because she is a human there are points where she like a little bit moves like a robot but she's kind of stiff but she moves like a human it's creepy that's look that was my initial
Starting point is 00:11:17 fear with seeing it because her fucking face just freaked me out so much the face is so it seems like that is something that I'm like I'll see it again today I might see it a hundred times. It was so amazing. It really was good. And it's just such an, Ronnie Chang is in it too, who I love. I'm going to have to go see it, I guess.
Starting point is 00:11:37 You have to. I would have to. My sister to go see it with me because you really should. Joe does not do scary movies. Oh, yeah, that's what I always forget. That's going to be a no-go. That's going to be a no-go. I would call it a scary movie, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:48 I would say it's, you know, it's an A-24 movie. Like, or not A-24. Yeah. Yeah, it's a 24 movie. Bloom House. Yeah. My fucking boys at Bloomhouse Bloomhouse knows how to make
Starting point is 00:12:01 like creepy thriller. Like they are the best with creepy thrillers. Did they do the menu? Or is that different? Oh no, the menu was searchlight. No, that's searchlight. Yeah, yeah. And which I loved.
Starting point is 00:12:12 I saw Barbarian. I saw Megan, came home, watched Hereditary again, which is just scary every time. And then the Barbarian and I was surprised. I love scary movies. What a thrill. I'm a scary girl. I love this.
Starting point is 00:12:26 That's like way too many hours. of being scared for me. I love it. Barbarian is one of my favorite movies this year. People were so I put it on, I had never even heard of it. It never even popped up for me. And I was like, oh, well, and I was kind of looking up like, you know, Oscar movies and award movies, whatever. When you jump scared, Justin Long, when you jumped scared yourself. Justin Long. Busted in here. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Justin Long was here promoting Barbarian. Yes. And I realized that after fact. I was like, wow, what a full circle moment. Like,
Starting point is 00:12:52 how did I, I, I didn't even register that that's when you announced to Justin Long that the queen was dead. Oh, yeah. I've never been so embarrassed. Like, bust it in. She was like, the queen is dead! I didn't even know he was here. Yeah, he was like, oh my God.
Starting point is 00:13:05 Yeah, he was like, oh my. I was like, fuck, this is so embarrassing. But, yeah, that was mortifying. I'm still embarrassed by that. But it makes sense that I blocked Al Barbarian because I was so embarrassed by my behavior at that time. But it was also very good. Scary, that.
Starting point is 00:13:18 It was funny, too. It was funny in some parts. I think that... I didn't find that scary, though. I thought that it was scarier than... Let's say. I wouldn't say it was scarier than Megan. I would say they were equal levels of, like, creepy and gore.
Starting point is 00:13:34 But Megan is more scary in a way of like, you know how people get scared of I Am Legend and stuff? Because it just seems like a true story about the future. That's what Megan is like, oh, fuck, this is a little too close to home. Yeah. So it's like a little too close to home. Because it's like, obviously this is ridiculous. Megan, now with AI, it's like what. Oh, no, no.
Starting point is 00:13:54 It is too real. Sometimes I sometimes I, sometimes I, sometimes I, see like AI videos on TikTok and God, they really freak me out. I hate them. My friends and I text all the time. What's the one that they have now? That everybody's talking about. It's not Sophia?
Starting point is 00:14:08 No, no. It's not a person. I mean, I don't know what the heck. The proper term is to call. I don't if I know. AI? Like just like, what do you mean AI videos? Like artificial intelligence.
Starting point is 00:14:17 Oh, I feel like I'd never see any of those. Oh, really? Oh, yeah, no, that the hotness right now. I think it's, um, is it coat? Yeah. I see a lot of, what's it? Oh, code GPD. Is that something?
Starting point is 00:14:29 Oh, I have no idea. Oh, you can chat. Oh, chat GPT. Well, chat GPT is the thing that writes your essays for your. Oh, yes. I've seen that. Yes. But the only like, the only robot that I've seen.
Starting point is 00:14:39 But then it's like, it's getting, it's getting smarter and smarter. No, I don't like that either. I don't like that. It's like, I've made this robot watch 50 hours of friends and then write a screen in the friend's, you know, tone about whatever. I'm like, do you have so much time in your hands? Like crazy. How do you be doing laundry or something right now?
Starting point is 00:14:56 How do you get one? I don't think you can't. You can't. No, in the movie, there are people who are making them. They made Megan. Megan is like, I'm trying to have to, obviously I'm not spoiling the movie, really. You know that it's a doll that's like, you know, going to be on sale or whatever. The, like, whispers of how much they were going to, like, sell Megan for at mass market was like 10 grand.
Starting point is 00:15:15 Yeah, yeah. So it's like that makes sense for a robot, you know, I guess, right? If you're going to have a fully functioning robot and knows anything about your life. It's fucking scary. But Sophia, the robot freaks me out. My friends and I send it back and forth all the time because she knows too much as well. And she's real looking in our face.
Starting point is 00:15:30 You know what I mean? Like she's going to come through. Do you think there'll be like robot dogs eventually? Yeah, probably. Robot everything. Robot everything. I'd be fine with the robot dog. That's something.
Starting point is 00:15:41 I'd be fine with the robot dog for that reason. But I, and also just like I get so worried about about like, you know, I want a pet so bad but I'm so afraid of something happening to it and it being like my fault so I don't get one. I mean if it's a robot dog, maybe. Yeah. But it wouldn't be soft probably. No, and just wouldn't have the warmth.
Starting point is 00:15:59 It would not have the warmth. The snuggle warmth. No, it really wouldn't. It would all be fake, too. It's like, oh, does this dog really like me or is it just programmed? So true. Yeah, I would have it like, I have too much wine one night and be like, you don't even really love me. Starts talking back to you?
Starting point is 00:16:11 Yeah, yeah. Kelly, yes, I do. Literally starts talking to you. Oh, it's terrifying. Anyway, the movie was fantastic. Have to see it. Okay, yeah. I'm glad you said that because I feel like I've been thinking about it and I've just seen nothing but good reviews,
Starting point is 00:16:24 which has just absolutely been blow. blowing my mind. Yeah. It's really good. It's surprising. Starting point is 00:18:07 Thank you, Apostrophies, for sponsoring this episode. I do want to ask you because, you know, we share the same affinity for obsessing over the royal family, and it continues to be just nonstop coverage. everything coming out of Prince Harry's book. I don't want to talk about it too much because I did bring it up on Friday and I'm going to continue to talk about it all week because the book comes out tomorrow and I am I can't wait to get through it.
Starting point is 00:18:35 I'm thinking about maybe I don't know. We'll see. I got to do something with what the book reading the book and talking about it. How long is the book, do you know? Don't know. I'm sure it's onaudible. It's 15 hours to listen to. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:47 Which is about, I would say like, I think like Godlet of Fire is like 24 hours. So my guess would be like. That's how you judge. My guess would be like 250. Let me look. Let's see how many pages, I'll tell you. He's going to come out with like part two. That would be my guess.
Starting point is 00:19:03 Somewhere in the two-fishing list. How do you think I find it? I want to listen to the audiobook. I want to hear him. Me too. That's another reason why I'm like excited about hearing. Yeah, no is really into. Just because like I want to hear.
Starting point is 00:19:12 January 10th when it's released. 15 hours. This says 416 pages. I've never listened to an audio book. It's a long-ass book. Hard cover. We'll see how big the font is. Let me see.
Starting point is 00:19:25 Sometimes the autobiography is the font is quite large so that the book can look bigger. So true. Do you think Prince William and them are like listening to the audiobook? Definitely. I don't think they're not. I don't even know who would like read it. No, they're definitely not.
Starting point is 00:19:41 They're having someone read it for them. Okay. So just again for comparison, the Order of Phoenix Harry Potter is 26 hours to listen to. And so that's like 10 hours longer than, and that book's not even the biggest book. So it's probably half the size of The Order of Feenix. This says 416 hardcover which is I feel like it's not that long
Starting point is 00:20:01 Harry Potter's right of life. A hardcover would be bigger pages. Yeah, I We'll see what happens. Sorry, I can't shut up. Dumbled door. Sorry. Yeah, so it's just been nonstop coverage. Page 6
Starting point is 00:20:17 has been all over it. Every British tabloid has been all over it. Did you see why? because it was released accidentally in Spain. Yeah, it was released accidentally. No, I know. Oh, accidentally, though. Why would they release in Spain, like, on purpose, so?
Starting point is 00:20:31 I think that I am so well. No, I'm saying if we don't think it's actually. I think it's just a European country on the same time zone as London. Yeah, I, it's suspicious for sure, but it's also like, I don't think Harry would have approved something like that because it seems to me like he has such a planned PR game plan here.
Starting point is 00:20:57 Maybe that is. 60 minutes. Anderson Cooper, Michael Trahan. He's doing Colbert. He did the ITV interview. Like very specific interviews. Not doing an insane amount,
Starting point is 00:21:07 at least as of right now. Like those are four big ones and I wasn't really seeing that he was doing much else. So I think of course every book releases, like they always release a little bit for the press to make people interested. Sure. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:19 They only needed about three of the stories that. So, like, if I had to guess that wasn't ideal, because literally, like, I do think a lot of people had this conversation with my friends who were like, you know, I don't even know if I want to read the book. Now I feel like I've read the book. Like, because all the headlines,
Starting point is 00:21:39 there was just nonstop. It was like, how much more could there be in the book? That is true. I feel like I know everything. Every single line they made into a headline. Yeah, ideally I don't think that is something that they wanted to do. Page 6 has ties to the sun and, I mean, the New York Post does.
Starting point is 00:21:55 And they've had, I think, like, one of their high up guys was at this. Elizabeth Holmes was posting about this on Instagram. And I love seeing her. I love her. Not the Elizabeth Holmes. No, she is a real correspondent. I love her, by the way. I think she, I think that she does a good job.
Starting point is 00:22:11 She does a great job. And she stays like, yes, she's kind of in the middle. She's very focused on, like, the symbolism of their outfits. stuff usually and I think she's doing a good job with all of this totally and I think it was interesting what she definitely was like let's think about why page six is posting 9000 articles about this and they still are and of course now everything's being reshared from 60 minutes and it'll continue to be that way from I haven't seen it yet GMA because it's this morning yeah so that's going to be out too I'm going to watch both of those going to be a lot and then
Starting point is 00:22:45 the book is out but still this still the same kind of theme of him just like this is his time. Yeah. He's ready to air it all out. We said it before and I'm pretty sure it was Elizabeth Holmes that posted this on her story that books have been written about Harry his entire life. And this is his first and probably only chance that he'll be able to talk about his own life in his own voice.
Starting point is 00:23:09 And so people who are like, Noah, people who are like, he's dredging up stuff from the past and whatever, blah, blah, blah. It's like that's his whole life. That's the only life he's ever known. These things that have hurt him. these things he's accusing William of and Camilla fucking Camilla Charles all these people whatever everything he's accusing
Starting point is 00:23:25 them of that's like what shaped his life So obviously it's like to talk about right now Why does anybody write an autobiography? Exactly exactly In my opinion It's just funny that like last week There was a headlines of him saying Like I would love to like
Starting point is 00:23:36 Get back on good terms with him And then all of this comes out Well this book I mean the book's been in the works for a long time Yeah it's not like you know whatever Do you think though My question I can't remember I think that it's did the announcement for this book came out before the queen died right i'm pretty sure i don't remember
Starting point is 00:23:54 did you see the headline of what he said to the queen before she died like the last thing he said no what it was like i hope you're happier or something like i hope you'll be happier or something like and i hope you like are with charles but it just seemed like philip yeah yeah yeah yeah well that sounds kind of nice no he loves his grandma yeah i took it more of like like hope you're happy now yeah I don't think Harry is going up to his grandmother, like one of the only people that he truly loved in his life, being like, I hope you're happy now. P.S. who's a copy of my book and it fits.
Starting point is 00:24:27 I don't think that's happening. I don't think that's happening. It was probably a very emotional moment. Also, he wasn't there with her on her death bed. Only Charles was, right? I don't know. She wasn't invited on the plane. Oh, yeah, that's right.
Starting point is 00:24:38 He said he wasn't invited with everybody else to go. Yeah. Regardless, whatever. So I do think, I'm very interested in this book, and I'm with you. like it's hard not to talk about it so much when you're interested in it so I'm sorry to people that aren't it is it is it's interesting it's different it is like it's watching a whole family unravel over after years of time it's wild and it really is just I feel like it is also so reaffirming
Starting point is 00:25:02 to those who have watched Harry's life and felt like he was thinking all these things and he wasn't able to say them and now he is yeah like that is very interesting to me because it's like you always watched and as he was growing up or even throughout his relationships, everyone like made assumptions or you thought like, God, he's got to be thinking this or this has got to be annoying him or he did all this stuff like everything. And it's just kind of reaffirming that we were all on the right track there a little bit. Yeah. Yeah. It wasn't all sunshines and rainbows. No, no. And it's, yeah, I feel happy for him that he's able to finally talk about all this. And I'm sorry if William gets thrown under the bus for being a spoiled fucking brat who just like,
Starting point is 00:25:43 did what his daddy told him and bullied his brother out of the house. Sorry, William. Look, sorry. It all comes down to Charles. He's the root of the problem. It all comes down to Charles. He is the worst. What a piece of shit.
Starting point is 00:25:56 But is William turning into Charles? Well, that's the fear. I think Harry's trying to save him from that. I think Harry's like, listen, I'm going to expose all of our shit. You can turn it around. William was like, I know what to do. I'll go to a Celtics game. Me better PR than that.
Starting point is 00:26:11 Like, come on, William. Oh, yeah. That was so ran. I was like, why is William at the Celtics? Because he's doing a tour to try to show face and be like, oh, hello, here I am. It's like, no, I'm your day head right now. They still have, they still have advisors for the royal family. They're like,
Starting point is 00:26:23 well, here's how we're going to make you guys seem down to earth and normal when you're in America. We're going to send you to a basketball game. Exactly, exactly. The Boston Celtics. I think they saw each other when he was in America or no. Definitely not. Definitely not. They're only in Boston for like a couple days. And then they sit out. I think they literally came for that basketball game.
Starting point is 00:26:42 Don't talk. Did you finish? Did you finish? the show? No, I only watch like the first episode. Oh, yeah. Well, then take a seat. Well, I know that they hate each other. I know, but I thought you were going to watch the rest of the, you said you were. I just forgot. Yeah. Well, so they don't speak. You should have seen Harry's face when he got a text message from William. It looked like he
Starting point is 00:26:57 saw a fucking ghost. Yeah. Like it was like, yeah. He was rattled by the text message that he received. What did it say? And we don't know. But he was clearly, like, he like, immediately was like, yeah, yeah, yeah. It was like, what the fuck. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like, they went
Starting point is 00:27:13 Beyonce texted Megan Mark. That was hilarious. Also, when I roll. Don't get me started. Don't get me started on our girl, Megan. Yeah, I mean, sometimes it's two separate things, in my opinion, but
Starting point is 00:27:26 why is Gareth Bail trending on Twitter? Who's that? Oh, he's retiring from football. Oh, oh, else. Well, so no, because sometimes all my trending topics are all like royal family adjacent. And it says Gareth Bail trending with Princess of Wales.
Starting point is 00:27:42 And I was like, oh my God, Prince Harry. with something in his book about Karen Bale. I mean, he wasn't like the timeline of their lives. Do not match up. But that'd be hilarious. The only thing that got me through was watching Gary's his face. Playing football in America.
Starting point is 00:27:57 Now he's retiring. And I knew I'd have to marry a Hollywood starlet eventually. I saw him last week in Jupiter. Oh, really? Yeah. Oh, wow. He's so relevant to your life right now. Very handsome fellow.
Starting point is 00:28:06 Did you? And I guess maybe he was having meetings about retiring. He must have been. Maybe he was celebrating. Oh, if only you knew, you could send him some champagne. Seriously, that was maybe a retirement dinner. Wow. Crazy.
Starting point is 00:28:16 You know what? Actually, my phone was just buzzing and I bet my brother is texting about it already because he was so pumped to see him. I bet. Is he? Yeah, he was. Yeah. He goes, must have been his retirement dinner.
Starting point is 00:28:29 It's like, yep. We're all thinking the same thing. But I was like, I literally saw it with Princess of Wales and was like, oh my God, is this something we're all family adjacent? I never understand how the trending topics work. Like I get how the actual trends. Is it for you? But when it's, they are now.
Starting point is 00:28:44 Yeah. Yeah, they are now for sure. You can click into different categories. I always click over to entertain me. Mine definitely are. Yeah. Like these are not the turning topics. You can click over to like entertain and whatever and find yourself.
Starting point is 00:28:54 But I don't know how they work with like you said. It's his name trending with Princess of Wales. That makes sense. Yeah, I know exactly how they come up with that. Okay, we do have some topics. Let's get into what we have. You know, Bravo News, Jen Shaw, sentencing. Lisa Renna is leaving.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Beverly Hills. Alec Baldwin with his public plea to get everyone to follow Eladia for her birthday to hit a million followers. And then even though, you know, Ria's not here, she's still here. We have a great game of trivia, which you can listen to after topic. So let's start off with the Bravo News. Starting point is 00:30:29 Visit BetterHelp.com slash office today to get 10% off your first month. That's BetterHelp, H-E-L-P.com, slash office. Okay, Jen Shaw sentenced six and a half years. Bad girl, bad girl, what you're gonna do? What you're gonna do when they come for you. She's going straight to, bad girl. Six and a half years. Honestly, with an extra five on top, house arrest.
Starting point is 00:30:54 Do you see that shit? Not enough. We're never going to see her again. Not enough, though, not enough. She deserves it. She deserves it. She's a piece of shit. It's so crazy.
Starting point is 00:31:02 I really was, I was locked in following along on Twitter. Just like reading out like the transcripts of, you know, the judge did not. definitely did not hold back. There was some sassy comments for sure. But like, a judge loves a celebrity case, you know? Like, I love how, I love how judges always are like, I'm taking this seriously, and I'm a judge. And, you know, it doesn't matter who you are. You're in my courtroom.
Starting point is 00:31:24 And then you see these, like, snarky remarks. It's like, all right, bitch, we get it. It's your time to shine. So. It's your 15 minutes. I know. And so she had pleaded. She changed to guilty.
Starting point is 00:31:32 So it's funny because, like, for reference, if you're watching Salt Lake City, the finale, we're up to, finale. And it's coming up to her court date, which had been postponed like so many times. So all the women are still like, oh, is she innocent? Is she guilty? Like, we have to wait and see. And so they, like, all don't know that she fucking goes in and changes and pleads guilty. It's really awkward.
Starting point is 00:32:00 And so it's very, it's very weird to watch because she's so adamant that she's innocent. And then all of a sudden it's just like, nobody. she actually changed it to guilty. And she just, like, changed her plea. And that is basically where ref, just to summarize, she, it was two very serious federal crimes, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. And the U.S. Attorney's Office claimed that, you know, Jen Chon, the show, portrayed herself as this wealthy, successful business person.
Starting point is 00:32:36 she was actually participating in a fraudulent telemarketing scheme that generated lead lists of innocent people, many of them elderly, for other members of the conspiracy to contact and scam. So the U.S. attorney had said Jen Shaw was a key participant in a nationwide scheme that targeted elderly vulnerable victims. These victims were sold false promises of financial security, but instead, Shaw and her co-conspirators defrauded them out of their savings and left them with nothing to show for it. So sucks. On it, like to me, when we're doing white collar crime here, like, this is as bad as it gets. It's very bad. It's very bad. When you're, like, not paying your taxes and you're trying to get away with shit because you're trying to keep yourself wealthy.
Starting point is 00:33:17 Yes. Or, you know, you're just like, you know, you don't want to pay your own taxes, whatever it is. Yeah. Yeah. This is frothing, like, this is basically frothing women, women, men, everybody from elderly. Elderly. from everything that they have saved in their entire lives. It's so fucked up.
Starting point is 00:33:38 All the way, like these old, old, cute people who they got a call on the phone and they don't know what to do. They don't have anybody there to help them and they give over their credit card information, like their fucking social security. Like, they give these people all this information and then they just steal all their money
Starting point is 00:33:59 and leave these people without any of their savings. It's all. And there's so many, so many people. You know how I feel about old people specifically. Like I don't want anybody to get ripped off, okay? Yep. Old people, how fucking dare you? I know.
Starting point is 00:34:12 They are helpless. They are just old and sweet. And nobody needs to be stealing their money. What are they doing? They're sitting in their house a day long. They're just being nice. They're just maybe that money is going to go to their kids. Maybe it's going to go to their grandkids, whatever.
Starting point is 00:34:24 It's so fucked up to take advantage of old people because old people are trusting. They are, they're not, you know, they don't know, they don't always know all about the world. They don't always know about, they're not as suspicious as the rest of us, I would say. I saw a viral thing that there was a whole class of old people in Apple learning how to use iPhones. Stop. I'm going to cry my eyes out. I'm going to quiet my eyes out. Yeah. Old people are so sweet. Like, I just, I feel bad.
Starting point is 00:34:50 I feel bad that like everything moved so fast. You literally can just picture pop pop pop on the phone. No. You know, I love my fucking Nana. Yeah. You know how my grandpa. You know I love them. It's so fucked. I know. And I think about that. Like I am so close to my grandparents.
Starting point is 00:35:03 I love my nana and grandpa. They're the greatest. But they're old. And I, in my head, I'm like imagining fucking Jen Shaw on the phone coercing my grandpa into some bullshit and giving his credit card information over. Well, you know what's sad. And it's like, she basically, I think basically what happened if I had to guess to was that like she was very high up in this.
Starting point is 00:35:22 Yeah. Oh, yeah. So she wasn't making phone calls. She wasn't. But I think all the people that were in order to help themselves. really like threw Jen under the bus. Shout out Stuart. That doesn't.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Stewart was like her right hand man on the show and you know business partners, whatever. And Stewart pleaded guilty and everyone was like, well, if Stewart's guilty what are we doing here? Then why? Yeah, then what's happening with Jen? And then I think you see like
Starting point is 00:35:52 in the preview for the finale, she's like, Stuart fucked me or whatever she says. I don't know. So basically, I just think like all these people who were working for her were probably like yeah, go up the ladder Jen Shaw's at the top. Exactly. Yeah, this shit's crazy. I mean, everything about it is insane.
Starting point is 00:36:08 I don't know how she expected to continue it and not get caught, especially that she's in the spotlight, whatever. That's fucking insane. Question for you. Have you been, I am not all caught up on Salt Lake, but thanks to my brother who is constantly updating me and making sure that I know the important things are going on. What do you think about Heather Gay's black eye?
Starting point is 00:36:25 I just can't fucking deal with the black eye. Do you think Jenchop beat her up? It drives me nuts. No, I don't. I at first was like she definitely That's how they wanted to make it. I feel like that's how they wanted to make it seem.
Starting point is 00:36:38 For sure. I don't know if they're trying to like fake shit or whatever it is. What are you doing with that? I think, I don't know. It's very annoying. Just fucking say what happened. If she doesn't say on the reunion what happened, like what are we doing? It's just like.
Starting point is 00:36:50 Do we think at this point? It's just like a joke. Like it's this black guy is the running joke. Now, I saw this on Dumas. That was, um, Kind of interesting, and you know, maybe you never know with this or not because it's a submission from an email. Of course, yeah. So the email first that was submitted said that like their really, Bravo was really scrambling with Salt Lake City.
Starting point is 00:37:14 The season was like just a bad season. Yeah. And that like the show, that some of the cast members were being put on pause. That was an email submission. And then somebody had, uh, somebody. somebody wrote in contradicting that being like that's not true just none of the friends are being
Starting point is 00:37:34 asked back Bravo and the editors are also doing Heather dirty with the black eye edit the morning it happened she told everyone she thinks she hit it on the sink but doesn't remember because they were drunk production told Heather they had footage of someone punching her and pressured her to pin it on someone she refused to talk about it to anyone
Starting point is 00:37:50 because she didn't know what happened and was going through an internal investigation with Bravo after the incident she was trying to squash the storyline because of the behind the scenes investigation and because because the producers had lied about footage. They're editing her like a villain to save their own ass for lying. Now, Heather could have sent that in herself.
Starting point is 00:38:05 Yeah, of course she could. Also, I don't think it makes Heather look to Heather. I think it makes Heather look really fucking annoying. Really annoying, for sure. But definitely not a villain. No, definitely not villain. It's just like it makes it annoying. It makes it look like she's trying to make a story out of nothing.
Starting point is 00:38:21 I know, I know. And if anything like, I don't even know if you can pin that on production because I would think production would want I don't know. Also, why? In the interviews, they're like, why don't you want to talk about?
Starting point is 00:38:33 Why don't you want to talk about? So clearly, I think they were pushing her to say something she didn't want to, but it's like, oh, was there some psychological warfare going on here? Right. That's what I'm saying. Or she... Who knows? I know.
Starting point is 00:38:43 So I think that was everybody's first guess. Yeah. Was like, oh, something happened with Jen. She's defending her friend because she's already got all this other shit going on. She doesn't want to say anything. But at the end of the day, I feel like she probably just fucking slipped and fell. And it was a like, I believe the Sink story, even although her eye looks like she got fucking rocked. That's the only reason why I'm like, damn, her eye look crazy.
Starting point is 00:39:06 Who knows? Maybe it was, Jen. Literally, who knows? I have a black eye? Yeah. She's what an idiot. No, I know. It was really crazy to watch.
Starting point is 00:39:14 All of them. Really crazy to watch. All of them. I'm very much over that. If it is not addressed in the reunion, I'm going to freak out. Like, if she doesn't actually put an explanation to it. There has to be. They spent a whole fucking episode talking about it.
Starting point is 00:39:26 Like, multiple. Multiple. Three. We're going on like episode four now. We're still talking about episode. The day, the episode where it happened where she woke up or whatever, all they did was like, what asked her what happened for the full episode. It was like the cliffhanger at the end of an episode and then a full episode and then another full episode. It's insane. It's nuts. So Jen on Friday was in court in New York and was sentenced to six and half years. She was asking for, you know, I think. like 36 months or something. Prosecution was,
Starting point is 00:40:01 they wanted 10. And how much did Teresa get? I think Teresa was like a year barely. It was like Teresa's was so dumb. I know. I know.
Starting point is 00:40:15 She shouldn't have signed. I was laughing so hard about, I saw some tweet that was like, yeah, Jen Todd's going to prison, but is she going to serve like this? And it was those pictures of Teresa and all her prison girlies. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Posted up hanging. out hilarious photos. It's actually astounding that multiple real house lives have gone to jail. These women are crazy. I know. So, you know, I know. And what's also really crazy about this after she was sentenced, six and half years, so back and forth and, right,
Starting point is 00:40:43 they keep saying she has learned from her mistakes and she is so apologetic and understands what she did and she knows she has to, you know, pay the Piper now for what she did. She also, she made a statement in court and was talking about, you know, her culture and how important the elders are in her culture.
Starting point is 00:41:06 It's like, you don't give a fuck about the elders. I say, you clearly don't. You really, like, don't see me this bullshit of, like, the elders are most respected part of my community. Like, no, I don't believe a word she says. And I think, like, you know, it's caused obviously strains in her relationship, but she's talked a lot about her mental health. on this season and I understand that's it's a lot going on in her life and you know now she's
Starting point is 00:41:33 worried about her children but like then why'd you fucking do that? You weren't so worried about the elderly that you were just taking advantage up for years and also this has been this was pre-housewives like she has been doing this for like what seemed to be close to a decade which is like masochistic to join a reality TV show when you got skeletons like that. I know skeletons have put you away and prosecution I think had examples of I've really haven't read too much of it, but I have seen some, like, victim testimonies. And, like, there's also, I think they had a, like, a text message that she had sent that was like, oh, you know, they don't know what's coming. Like, you know, like, it's just like crazy shit. Text
Starting point is 00:42:13 that are like, L.O.L. Fuck these old people. Yeah, like, basically. Basically. So, so not, okay, so she does that. And she sentenced. And then I'm dying because Friday night, she goes. She goes. out to dinner with 20 people. In New York, right? Where'd they go? Lavish Italian hot spot. It was the day that they announced a sense. Unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:42:38 So literally Friday morning, she gets sentenced to six and a half years in jail, which she's going to have to report what she's doing in Texas, I guess. Oh, weird. I don't know. I think there's like a low secure. It's like a better prison down there, I guess she has to help decide, which seems bullshit. Yeah, that seems weird.
Starting point is 00:42:55 You get to choose with prison. I don't know. And then headed to a dinner with the group of 20 in Midtown. Page Six is told the convicted fraudster and her posse spent the night eating and drinking on the establishment's second floor. She had two people standing around her table blocking anyone from taking photos. It's unclear whether her husband Sharif or co-stars were with her. When contacted her comment, spokesperson for Valbella told page six that the venue does not
Starting point is 00:43:19 give out client information. However, our photographers caught Jen Shaw exiting the restaurant with her security guard in tow our insider says she stood in the doorway trying to figure out how to leave without being photographed. What's that place? Valbella? I've never heard of it before, have you? Yeah, no. Mintown. I don't spend all the time I'm midtown. Neither do I. I wonder if people are going to
Starting point is 00:43:38 flock to it. Be like, the place that Jen Shaw celebrated her. I mean, like, what are we doing? I'd have to have dinner there. She issued an apology to the victims as well as her family. Look, I guess I don't know. I guess if you know I guess if you know, who'll have a month. Right, she's got a surrender on February 17th. She's got a little over a month, she's just like, I'm gonna eat, fucking eat and drink like a king now.
Starting point is 00:44:01 But there's just no self-awareness. You gotta have zero. You gotta have some shame. Some zero self-aware. Yeah. Like, fuck, go home on the night. Go home. Go home.
Starting point is 00:44:12 We're just guys. Yeah. I'll say this. If I have a month left. If you're gonna go out to dinner, don't do it in New York City. Yeah. Where everyone's watching. The night of.
Starting point is 00:44:20 If I have a month left. Like, what's that toast look like? All right, Jen. Yeah, right. Raise your glass. Raise your glass, everyone. Raise your glass. To Jen.
Starting point is 00:44:27 To Jen. To Jen Shaw. To Jen Shaw. A woman who we will see in about 12 or so years. We'll see her again at this restaurant. Cheers. And like six and a half, you know, or probably less because, you know, celebrities fucking always get out for good behavior earlier.
Starting point is 00:44:43 What's crazy to me is on top of the six and a half year sentence in prison, she also has the five year after that home arrest. And she has, I think she has, like, a restitution to pay to. And then like two years parole after that. There's a lot. Like she's gonna be, she's gonna be fucked for a long time. And I do think obviously she'll probably get out earlier than six and a half years. Everybody always does.
Starting point is 00:45:02 Good behavior, whatever. But I think she's gonna be, I mean, she's screwed for a long time. The judge was kept saying like, you better not fucking profit off this because they brought up that she did merch and like all this stuff. Although like, I mean, yes, everything she did was shitty. I hate her so much for screwing over old people. Hate that. Yeah, that's insane. Obviously, you know you're not.
Starting point is 00:45:23 You're not going to be in jail. You're going to be in jail. What are they going to visit you in jail every other day? Like, this is insane. You're the new orange is the new black, a spinoff show. I think that, I think, though, I would do the same in the way of doing everything I can until I have to go to jail because she was a month left to, like, live her life until it's all taken away from her. Although you have to be smarter, like you said, you have to be myself aware.
Starting point is 00:45:43 I would just wear a disguise. I would do all those things, but I'd wear a disguise. Jesus. I'd wear a wig. I'd wear glasses. You want to really show people how sorry you feel like act like it? 100%. I don't, you know.
Starting point is 00:45:56 I see no remorse. Another question, Housewives related. I don't know if you, again, I do not, I don't, I watch Housewives enough to know what's going on. I don't watch it religiously enough to have like in-depth conversations all the time about it. But I did read about this pretty extensively. I don't know if you guys talked about it already. The guy, the husband of the lady on Potomac. No.
Starting point is 00:46:18 Did you talk about this? No, because I don't watch Potomac. I don't either. And I've known about this because I see, like I follow the. Bravo pages and stuff And I know Kate wrote a blog about it That's the first time I saw it was Kate's blog I don't really know the details
Starting point is 00:46:34 I don't even know the woman's name I don't even know the one of the husbands Dixon on Pocomac is being accused Of some crazy crimes with like his football team He's assistant coach or whatever Sounds like you turn to blind eye to some fucked up basketball sorry Yeah sounds like you turn a blind eye to some fucked up shit Everybody is everybody's getting in trouble on housework
Starting point is 00:46:52 Like again why like if you are doing bad shit and you're tied to reality or the media. It's going to come out. You have to be so, like, you have to, I don't even know if it's ego or just lack of awareness or whatever it is, but you have to be so out of your mind to be consistently, like, in a massive scheme where, like, in Jen Shaw's case, like this was going on for years before she was on the show, to then be like, you know what? I want to be on a national show.
Starting point is 00:47:32 Like, give me that kind of platform. I want the fame. Like, as soon as you get the fame, that's when people are digging into your life to not have the self-awareness to think like, oh, well, you know, if people find out what I'm doing in my biz, I'm fucked. And still, like, agree and you do a show
Starting point is 00:47:49 to be a reality star and, like, talking about your, you're showing off how rich you are. People are going to be like, oh, how rich is she? Especially the richness Especially the wealth Everybody looks into people when they have wealth Because people get jealous People get very jealous of wealth
Starting point is 00:48:03 They don't understand why you have your money And what you do deserve it And they're going to look for reasons to want to take that away from you Hold Back and like You're going on Housewives You know that that is always a topic And it's always a topic Where it's like well what is the hot
Starting point is 00:48:17 Like what do you do? What does your husband do? What is like They're doing it with Lisa Barlow and her business is Like it's all the same shit The show started off, and I feel like it's gotten away from that a little bit now, or at least they're trying to. It seems like they're trying to diversify the wealth a little bit. But it started off as we're just rich.
Starting point is 00:48:35 We're just rich people. This is a show about rich white ladies, and here it is. And now they've made it a little better. They've added, like, you know, poorer people, I guess you could say. People with less money, less, least amount. But barely. But in comparison to like Kathy Hilton and shit, you know, obviously different. but like it's um it's surprising and i think that these people they they get to a point where they get away with something bad for so long they start to feel invincible like they're never gonna you know things ever gonna happen clearly and that's like i mean that's it's like a it's like a sickness it's an addiction it's like a thrill-seeking thing it's like how far can i go how far can i push it we've seen all those movies you know i know i know i haven't seen i haven't seen andy talk about i don't know if he brought if he talked about it on oh yeah that's good i didn't see that happens last night i wonder if he's like allowed to
Starting point is 00:49:22 I don't see why he wouldn't be allowed to. I mean more like, I wonder if they had to call him in. Did they? Do we know that? Like, you know, to talk about her character or whatever. I feel like Andy would be, I don't know, though. Maybe he doesn't spend that much time with her. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:49:38 I don't think so. Maybe not. Maybe not. Maybe I'm overestimating their interactions, friendships. I know. Interesting. I just would think that there would be something more to it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:51 Hmm. Oh, here's a club of Heather Basically saying, I don't care about Jen stealing From your grandma. Oh my God, what? This was from last week. I mean, she's just beyond. No, that's a lot.
Starting point is 00:50:09 That's a lot. Okay. And Lisa Rina is now off of Rastways of Beverly Hills. Basically, you know, whether you agree with a mutual parting, that's how they kind of always worded. or it's maybe it wasn't but I guess they claim that you know new contracts have been given out her contract was up and she is off the show after I have eight years
Starting point is 00:50:35 or however long it's been many seasons right you hate Renna no this is a thing I was no I really like for me she was so entertaining definitely like I thought she was such an important part of the show And she still is, I guess. She's the only, like, trouble maker at this point. Like, she's going on to stirs shut up. Like, the shit with Denise is when, like, you could argue I think she started to lose people,
Starting point is 00:51:05 but I still was defending her in the sense of, like, this is good TV. No, I agree. Like, when she was sitting on that couch with Denise and she was like, you're so angry. Yeah, you're so angry. I was like, oh, my God, this is. I was like, she's going to get hit. I thought, I thought Denise was going to hit. Top notch.
Starting point is 00:51:20 And I wanted it to happen. But this last, no, this last season, she just lost me. Like, there's a lot of statements that she made. And the shit with Kathy, like, I 100% do believe Kathy had that meltdown. And I think she did things that were inappropriate. I think she said things that were inappropriate. She, you know, whether you take her apology or you don't, she did apologize. Rina, like, held onto it so hard that it.
Starting point is 00:51:51 It just felt like so many people have meltdowns on this show and they say things that they shouldn't. And yes, I think Kathy like should be held accountable for that. People blindly love her, which I think is kind of ridiculous. She is very entertaining. She's super entertaining, but like she's so problematic. Yeah, she's beyond problematic. For sure.
Starting point is 00:52:09 She's, well, she's just, she's not touched with reality. She's been rich too long. I know, I know. I mean, she's too rich for too long. And that's her. She starts, she's starting to have like a little bit of like a Ramona sense to me where she can get away with saying things and people are like, no, it's funny. but it's like, actually, it's like
Starting point is 00:52:23 not coming from a good place, I think. I think it's, yeah, she's not. She doesn't know that she's doing something wrong until someone tells her. Exactly, exactly. Okay. And then even then she's like, whatever. But like, when Lisa started to do towards the end of last season where she's like,
Starting point is 00:52:37 I have to let this stuff. Like, I'm gonna, if I bottle this all up, like, I'm gonna get cancer and die. Like, I was like, all right, you're being so dramatic. Kyle is actually supposed to be, you know, one of her good friends. Yeah. And Kyle's like,
Starting point is 00:52:51 crying, begging that to like end this. You're putting a wedge in between me and my sister and they have so much family drama that it's insane. They already, yeah, they already can barely hang out. They already have so much drama. So I'm like, in my mind I'm like, okay,
Starting point is 00:53:06 your friend is begging you to stop. She wouldn't let up. Her and Erica did not let up on it at all, which is fine. And unfortunately, like, if they were able to go through with this, they had an internal investigation about it, But because there were two people, it's just like a she said, she said of what happened.
Starting point is 00:53:27 Nothing really came out of it. So Kathy, I think, kind of got away with it. For sure. But at the same time, it was just like, it was too much from Lisa. It's too much from Lisa. But also, to me, that is when she started turning. It would have been so bad. It was just been boring.
Starting point is 00:53:42 She's not exactly leaving on a high note. No. But she's still leaving more on her own terms than I think if she really, really went down the tube. If she stayed another another season. Yeah, I agree completely. It felt like it felt like the right time to me and yes it's going to be a completely different show and you know, hopefully so good they'll find somebody.
Starting point is 00:54:01 There's not a, this is what I said on my Instagram. There's not a shortage of dramatic women that want to be at Real Housewives of Brothly Hills that are going to try and stir the pot. Yeah. They can find someone. It may take a while chemistry wise. However, it just felt like the right time in my mind. I agree completely. I think a lot too has to do with like it seems like now she's taken over by the thought of making the show good and she no
Starting point is 00:54:28 longer has her finger on the pulse of what makes the show good. I feel like you said before, she used to be very entertaining and I still like her. I think that she's funny. I think she's ridiculous. Like I'm still in on her as a person, you know, whatever. She's fine. But I do think it's extremely hypocritical of her to continue to bring up this bullshit with Kathy when when she does something wrong and she apologizes, she expects everybody to let it go immediately. She's like, all right, I apologized. What more do you want for me? Kathy doesn't have that same energy towards her, I don't think. So she just keeps like beating it down and beating it down. And in my head, I'm like, Lisa, what do you want from this? Like, what is it? You keep bringing it up. You keep talking about it.
Starting point is 00:55:04 You keep making issues. You keep causing this riff like you're saying between her and Kyle, like all this bullshit. What is the ideal outcome for you? Like, what do you want? And I feel like she has no answer to that. She just wants to bitch and moan, and we have enough bitching and moaning at this point. Like, move on, do something else. And if she can't do that, then she needs to take some time away. I'll say this. I don't think it's the last we've ever seen of Rina. I think that she'll definitely come back in a couple seasons.
Starting point is 00:55:28 No, I wouldn't be surprised. She loves the show. I know. Some capacity. They're all still friends. Her and Eric are still so close. Yeah, yeah. It'll be hard for her, I think, like socially to avoid a lot of the things.
Starting point is 00:55:44 Definitely. They're happening, but it'll be interesting to see who they bring in. There are rumor, you know, there's been rumors flying for weeks now of possibilities. My favorite rumors, Nicolette Sheridan. TMZ posted about that a couple days ago. Who knows what truth there is to that. Nicolette Sheridan was married to Harry Hamelin, right? Was she?
Starting point is 00:56:03 Yeah. That is so scandalous. Wait, let me go to the article. My mom sent it to us to me and my brother. Yeah. Let me see. She was married to Harry Hamlet. That's fucking crazy.
Starting point is 00:56:15 There was drama there. Like when... What the hell? Where is? Oh, it was in a text message. Hold on. I'm trying to find the... Here it is.
Starting point is 00:56:27 Nicole Sheridan negotiating contract. As ex-husband's wife gets the boot on. Oh, no. I am so stupid. Oh. It was fake. It says TMZ. And I was really convinced.
Starting point is 00:56:45 And it's really convinced. Sounds legit. Someone goes, I need to stop making these fake edits. And I'm like, motherfucker. Because people really believe it. Well, that's why. Because that's, because that's, she was married to her. That makes so much sense.
Starting point is 00:56:56 Yeah. I feel like a dumb ass. I hate when I get got by those things. I was so excited. I was like, wow, what a good idea. We got got got. But at the same time, like, I had no idea she was trying to. I saw that.
Starting point is 00:57:05 Everybody was believing that that was real. Never in a million fucking years. But Nicod Sheridan seems legit. People thought Paris Hilton was going to join, which seems kind of crazy. That seems crazy just because then I would just just make it like a Hilton show. But I do like that idea because I like Paris. But Paris wouldn't fuck around with any of those bitches.
Starting point is 00:57:22 Like she'd just be like, I'm over this. Brandy keeps teasing that she's coming back. So I feel like maybe she, like, I can say that I don't want Brandy to come back. I can see if Brandy. And I don't know. Like, I don't know if Vanderpump would consider coming back if Renna's gone. I don't think Van der Pump would ever do anything with these women again. Like, because I don't know.
Starting point is 00:57:41 With Renna gone, I think she might. That is true. She literally tweeted ding-dong. No way. She did. I missed that. The news came out. She just tweeted.
Starting point is 00:57:49 Oh, that's like the witch is dead. That's hilarious. I love Louisiana Poppe. I always have. Although, is she still friends with Kyle at all? I feel like once that relationship was splintered, there was no way. Goodbye, Kyle. But even behind the scenes of whatever, I thought maybe they would work it out.
Starting point is 00:58:06 So then no. If she has no friends, because she doesn't. Like, she's not going to come in without any friends or without these conversations. Yeah, no, she's not really friends with any of them. Although, I think maybe. Queen B. No, Garcel. I think Lisa and Garcel are friendly. Oh, so true. Although, I don't know. Kyle hates, if Lisa Vanderpokes back in, I would love that because the rivalry would be between her and Kyle. Yeah. For sure. And it would be LVP versus Kyle and Kathy. And Erica would probably step into
Starting point is 00:58:30 that too. For sure. On whose side do you think? Kyle. Just because she'll show. I don't know. I feel people. I feel like people are. And Durit, I guess. Doree would definitely be on Kyle's side because they're in a quadruple. Yeah. But I wonder how that would go because I feel like Kyle buckles under the weight of Lisa Vanderpump. Like I think that she loves being like Queen Bee, Center Diamond, like whatever. It's finally her time to shine now that Lisa was gone. But if she were to come back, I think that Kyle is very intimidated by Lisa Van der Pump. And when they were friends, I thought that it was like a funny friendship.
Starting point is 00:59:07 Like it was like a like I wouldn't say toxic friendship. I mean, it was obviously. But it was a little bit of like Lisa. bossing her around and puppeteering her a little bit. So I think that she has like PTSD from that and like wouldn't like she likes being her own bitch, you know? I could definitely see that. Damn, but wouldn't that be good?
Starting point is 00:59:24 Yeah, so we'll see. I don't think they started filming or anything. Yeah, I know. I'm so upset. That's a really good idea. You got gotten that. Damn. For two days I've been thinking that.
Starting point is 00:59:32 I've been telling people too. I've been like, wow, could you believe? Desper Housewives. Oh, whatever. Proper while is a clean all day energy shot designed to boost your energy focus and productivity without the jitters or crash. You know, it's a Monday morning. Starting point is 01:00:16 You want to know what's in them. You want them to be transparent. I'm always cautious about energy drinks specifically. And the energy shots from Proper Wild are so great because they are clean. They are very transparent. You can see everything on the bottle. Read everything that's inside the bottle as well. And they also have new flavors, which is very exciting.
Starting point is 01:00:36 New flavor alert. New flavors. I know Ria and I've always talked about our favorites. I really like the BlackBerry one. But now they have strawberry kiwi apple. and lemon lime. Oh my god, yum. Apple?
Starting point is 01:00:46 Delicious. They're all so great. Apples are a great one. Lemon lime also fantastic. I love a clean, like, lemon. I like a lemon line too. You know, keep it pure. Lemon is great.
Starting point is 01:00:57 I'm all about that. It's like, that's just a simple, great flavor. And also, it feels healthier in your head too. Totally. Like, lemon, like hot lemon water. Right, exactly. Exactly. You're like, this is taking in like a perfect lemon shot.
Starting point is 01:01:09 Totally. So the proper wild energy shots are a great way. Like I said, to boost your energy, focus, and productivity without the jitters or crash. So go to properwild.com slash barstool to try proper wild for 30% off. Alec Baldwin took to social media to make a plea to his followers and the world to follow his wife, Eladia, for her birthday. Her birthday was January 6th.
Starting point is 01:01:41 Not to be confused with the other things we sell. We talk about on January. Yeah, yeah. Yes. Right. Don't forget. He said that. I honestly just want everybody to listen to the audio.
Starting point is 01:01:51 You don't even really need to see him to really. Just imagine him possibly had woken up 15 minutes before this video was taken. Yeah. Squinting into the sun. Basically. Now I just want to just play it again so that we can hear it. Hey, everybody. It's January 5th, the day before my wife's birthday.
Starting point is 01:02:13 It is my wife Eilarious birthday tomorrow, January 6th. We don't attach the same significance to January 6th. We just say it's hilarious birthday. I would like to ask you a favor. I would like to ask you a small favor. And that is my wife is just, it seems like she's just centimeters shy.
Starting point is 01:02:38 Centimeters, centimeters. Centimeter shy. A million followers. followers on Instagram. And I would like to ask you as a birthday gift or even just gesture to my wife, would you follow her on Instagram? God. Obviously, I love my wife.
Starting point is 01:02:58 Obviously, I'm crazy about my wife. Blah, blah, blah, blah. Blah, blah, blah, blah. Love my wife. Blah, blah, blah. Crazy about her. My wife is great. Blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 01:03:08 I love a blah, blah, blah through love confessions. but I would like as many of you as possible I would like a really great great surge of people to follow my wife on Instagram to say happy birthday. A surge of people. Like a tsunami. It's too long.
Starting point is 01:03:32 Would you do that for me? 45. Would you do that for me? Follow my wife on Instagram. Would you do that for me? Would you follow my wife on Instagram? Why is he talking like that also? The way he's talking is like
Starting point is 01:03:42 please donate to this like Carcan. Yes. That's what I'm saying. Would you please? Would you please? A surge of people. The only time you say surge of anything is when you're talking about a fucking tsunami coming to town.
Starting point is 01:03:53 Would you please do that for me? Follow my wife on Instagram. I would actually like to make a public plea to unfollow Alari Abolmner. Yes, I would also like to, could you do that for me? Could you unfollow Alec Baldwin's wife? Can we get her under one million? That would be awesome. Have to get her below my.
Starting point is 01:04:08 Well, here's the thing is I bet anybody listening to this doesn't follow her to begin with. It's just so funny. It's just so fun. I mean, and she really did hit a million. It worked. The sad thing is she knows she asked him to do this. Right. She asked him, right?
Starting point is 01:04:20 Did he say that? Because he didn't know that she was that close. Exactly. She probably is sitting around being like, meow, me, mo'am, yum, meow. Woe is me. Honey, the only thing I want for Instagram. And it's January 6th.
Starting point is 01:04:29 The only thing I want on Instagram. The only thing I want for, Alec, the only thing I want for my birthday is a million followers on Instagram. I just wish I had a million followers on Instagram. I could also get pregnant, but a million followers on Instagram is easier. I feel like. I feel like I guarantee, and this is just the kind of person that Alaria is, in my mind, is like when all the political issues on January 6 are going down and when people talk about it in that way, the fact that Alec Baldwin even said that shit in there, one, I'm sure he's getting ahead of like the jokes, but also two, I guarantee Alaria is walking around the house or like last year or two years ago whenever it happened being like, this is ruining my birthday. She's that bitch, you know?
Starting point is 01:05:08 Like this national issue is ruining her birthday and is now like soiled her birthday forever. You know what I mean? She definitely cries every year on her birthday since then. Being like, it's just not special because everybody's so upset on this day. Like, I guarantee she's that kind of bitch. It's just such a, it was just such a funny video that I was like, okay, we need to, we need to just play this audio. He's out of his mind. Would you please?
Starting point is 01:05:31 Would you please do this? It's embarrassing. Like, do you think his friends text? I'm like, dude, come on. I don't think he has any friends left. Does he have any friends anymore? It's sad that he was like, once a really respected actor. Yeah, he was so cool.
Starting point is 01:05:41 He was cool. Yeah, I was down with him. Like, Jack Danahy. Like, I was so down. I think it's gone downhill. He's, you know. There's been so many incidents. So many things have happened.
Starting point is 01:05:51 Anger issues. Tough. Yelling at his daughter. What is that? A little pig, something pig, slut pig. Fat pig. I don't know what that. He's just.
Starting point is 01:06:00 Pray for her, man. The kids. They have like 100 kids. They have so many kids. So many kids. And I feel bad for them because this house is unhinged, clearly. This is crazy. A million followers.
Starting point is 01:06:08 Well, can you do that for me, please? Can you follow me? my wife on Instagram I can't I know all day long I'm saying that could you do that for me
Starting point is 01:06:16 please no it's literally like guys guys like Noah said it's my wife Instagram a plea to help
Starting point is 01:06:22 like a yeah less fortunate population of the background you know in the arms
Starting point is 01:06:29 of me please could you follow my wife on Instagram far away it's fucking insane
Starting point is 01:06:37 he's out of his mind he's out of his mind this is it is so important. I say this all the time. It's so important for you to like have friends and keep friends that keep your grounded and keep you normal. My friends would roast me to death.
Starting point is 01:06:49 No, they lost a video like that. Reality. He has to get some friends. Someone has to step in his life. Just like cuddling up and watching her followers go up. She's probably like, oh my God, baby, this is the best gift you've ever gotten me. Oh my God. Look, look. I'm so close now. Like I guarantee that's how it went down.
Starting point is 01:07:06 And it was just... If we can get her under a million, please. Anyone who follows her. Unfollow her now. She does not deserve your follows. She doesn't. And what does she even post? Neither do I. What does she even post?
Starting point is 01:07:16 It's all her kids. It's all her Instagram. Yeah, it's all the kids. Didn't it used to be all yoga? I understand. There's some yoga mixed into that. I understand people wanting to follow her for the yoga. Because she's a, she's a yoga bitch, you know?
Starting point is 01:07:28 But for the, we don't need to keep following with the content. We don't need that. We don't need that. There are plenty of mommy influencers out there. I just looked up how to say, I'm following Spanish. Day Hard Day Sigur. Just for any of her Spanish. followers.
Starting point is 01:07:42 I'd imagine that you just butchered that. I think I butchered the last part. Yeah, I'm gonna imagine that that's just probably absolutely met him. Well, you know what? She would too, so.
Starting point is 01:07:53 That's fair. That's fair. Damn. Well, you know, she hit her mark. I was like she hit it. So what are we saying? Clearly people care about Alec Baldwin and his wife
Starting point is 01:08:02 and congratulations. It's outrageous. Maybe she really was centimeter. Like there's like four people they needed. I don't know, maybe. No,
Starting point is 01:08:11 At that point, you know you just send a mass text to your whole family? Like, hey, guys, I just want to make sure you're all following me on Instagram because I'm like five people away from a million. And it's, you know, I bet too. I bet that, that urgency. One, I'm positive. It's, you know, ego-based. But I also bet that at a million followers, you get, like, good brand deals and stuff.
Starting point is 01:08:32 I'm more than I'm sure. So they probably are more money. What kind of people see that video of Alex, Alec Baldwin? And they're like, oh, yeah, let me go follow her. Like, right away. Or like, oh, like, oh. Oh, what a sweet thing he's doing for his wife. I'll go follow.
Starting point is 01:08:44 He also got, I miss this part. No, what happened? He also got his children. No. To say in a video to follow him? No, you're kidding me. You're kidding, Fran. You've made this up.
Starting point is 01:08:58 No. Oh. No, no, Fran. Follow my mom on Instagram. Someone. Call the police. Call the police. Right.
Starting point is 01:09:13 Hold on, hold on. Oh, that was it. Today's the day. Call the police right now. Okay, wait, here's the final push. We got a little, uh, um, party action here. A little party action here. Okay, so we're getting close.
Starting point is 01:09:32 We're so close. Oh my God! To, um, my wife had a million followers. I want to really, really try. Is that a better shot? Okay, there we go. My wife had a million followers. I really want to get to a million from my wife.
Starting point is 01:09:48 I'm so nice. Sure, sure, sure. I bought her other birthday gifts, but... Like, is she standing with a whip in the corner of the room? A million. A million. What she's... Say it!
Starting point is 01:09:58 And let him know you got me other gifts, too. Please follow my wife on Instagram. I'm going to come back and do this again. I think he's laughing at least. Remember the old Jerry Lewis Telethon? You're two. Oh, my God. Jerry Lewis, this is the last one.
Starting point is 01:10:22 Oh, this was three minutes long. No way. No way. I'm getting ready to take my wife out to dinner. A birthday. Oh, my God. And we're downstairs. Gonna have a little birthday cake with our kids.
Starting point is 01:10:42 Our many, many, many kids. And thank you for all you people who signed on and followed my wife. We're getting close. We're just, we're not that far away from helping her cross the line to a million followers. Oh, my God. Elaria is somebody who, her social media is a big part of her platform in terms of her promotion of her work and her podcast. Oh, my. This is, I am crawling out of my skin.
Starting point is 01:11:15 I'm so embarrassed. Me too, actually. I mean, it's a very, very handy format, Instagram for promoting my podcast. Can I tell you right now? Hold on. There's so much more left. But I have a good interaction on Instagram, whereas on Twitter I have not as much of an interaction with my followers. It's much more quiet.
Starting point is 01:11:37 But I want to say thank you so much to those who did sign on. What the fuck? And I'm glad to hear that that guy. guy, God, I'm blanking out on his name now, the football player from Buffalo is, in coverage. So, what it, was he,
Starting point is 01:12:03 oh, he was live. He went live. Oh, stop. These are live. Stop. Doesn't matter the story. Lives that he saved on his feet. That's just horrifying.
Starting point is 01:12:13 But anyway, um. We are also happy for tomorrow. Thank you. To all of you who followed my wife for her birthday. Let's go back from a very serious topic, too. But more importantly. Anyway, More importantly, as I was saying,
Starting point is 01:12:25 Polaria hit a million followers. Father my wife on Instagram. He sounds more desperate for the followers and like, send prayers to DeMar. Yes. My wish. Oh, by the way, the other guy. And my request and
Starting point is 01:12:34 Yeah, really happy to see Tamara is doing well. I'm on Instagram begging people. Well, I don't think I'm begging people, but I am. You're begging, Alec. Oh, he is reading comments. Okay, I can't do any more.
Starting point is 01:12:50 No, I can't. He's online. And then his final thing was he posting. a piece of paper that said, many thanks to everyone who helped get my wife to one believe followers. Dude, I am blown the fuck away by so many things. But wait, I must say this. I must say this.
Starting point is 01:13:06 Follow my mom. No, no. Again, we need to call the police. We need to raid this house. We need to get those children. That is so funny. And put them somewhere that life is normal. This is not normal.
Starting point is 01:13:18 It is just so funny. And it's true. Like, look, I guess she was like. Like, oh, man, I just want to go. For sure. Which, no, I get that. Any normal person would be like, I'm dying for a million followers.
