Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners, you can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube.
Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music.
What's up, everyone?
It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne, giving you that Friday energy on a Monday.
Once again, I almost forgot what day it was.
I almost said Thursday.
I don't know what day it is.
I do it by when we do the group chat and when we do the group chat and when
Yeah.
Podcast.
Otherwise, I would have no idea.
Truly would have no clue.
The days are just turning in.
They're all the same.
They're just all the same.
Time.
Losing concept of time.
Just like doesn't matter what time it is.
We could be doing this.
We could be doing that.
Like I had to shower before recording the podcast because it's been kind of dreary outside
in New York.
And like, I thought it was 7 p.m.
at like 2 p.m. And I was just like, I had to wake up. I had a shower. I got shit to do. The day's not over. Time is
just, it doesn't exist. Yeah, the weather in New York fits what's going on. It's very gloomy, dark.
Yes, it really is. We've been keeping up the same routine as you've heard about last podcast. We played a lot of Mario Kart with our boyfriends who we beat twice this week.
Two times in a row.
Woo!
In a couple of Grand Prix, no big deal.
Yeah.
Your queens, we bow down.
Or no, you bow down to us.
We curse me.
And pose our crowns on our head.
Because we keep dominating.
Although when we're playing against all of the friends.
Not good.
Not as good.
Yeah.
I don't know what happens.
It's just like something extra.
It must happen when we're just two verse two.
It's girls versus boys.
boys. Yeah, we get a little boost in our system. Yeah, yeah, exactly. And I feel like we get way more
competitive. When it's just like a big group playing, it's like, oh, we're having fun, we're playing,
it's a good, it's a good distraction. There's something about watching all of us ride together
in Mario Kart. That makes me tear up. I'm not kidding. Like, when we all take off and you see the
whole group of us ride together, like this is something special. You know, we're all scared, but we're all
playing Mario Kart together. And I think that we're all feeling the same way. Like, Joe fucking
loves Mario Kart. So does Hank. Like he is obsessed with it. I mean, like we already said,
we started a text, group chat. Joe, like every few days adds another friend. The group keeps
getting bigger and bigger. I feel that when it shows the, all of our me's on the earth.
And we're just all a group together. It's so special. It is. It is. It is. It is. It's,
you see them walk to each other and dance. It's so nice. It is. It's just, but it's a fun way to
connect. It definitely is. But that's not all, it's not all rainbows and butterflies, friend, because
how have you been, Rhea? I want to bring something up that's been playing heavy on our hearts.
Okay. And it has to do with my boyfriend. Hank. Harry Blackwood. You might know him as the producer
part of my take if you listen to that wonderful podcast. Yeah. And they,
decided to do a thing about the worst Kevin's because I guess ESPN did something about the best something.
Yeah. I don't remember. He was explaining it to me, but I kind of was drowning him out because I was
mad and pissed that he brought up Kevin Jonas. And I was like, you made a graphic and put it out on
PMT and said worst Kevin's. And you put him up there with Kevin Spacey. I thought the same thing.
Like Kevin Spacey and Kevin Jonas is the graphic. It was despicable.
And I will say, even the other Kevins that were on there do not deserve to be next to Kevin Spacey.
Like, it's, it's, right.
Like, Kevin Spacey needed his own graphic.
Like, you can't put Kevin Spacey up with all these other pretty, you know, like just other average
average Kevins besides Kevin Jonas.
Because, honestly, the fact that Hank put Kevin Jonas on that list still makes me angry.
I will, like, Friday, we.
we're texting about it, like all morning.
There's, we will never find common ground on it.
He is adamant that Kevin Jonas broke up the Jones brothers.
And I do not think so.
I will defend Kevin.
Kevin is a loyal supporter of chicks in the office.
He is our guy.
And I will, I will go down defending him.
For I know with you, it's infuriating for me.
I live with this man who I woke up the next morning and had to see this awful news about
him just defaming.
That's the word, right?
Kevin Jonas. He's, he's blasting him out to be one of the worst Kevin's. Like, and I actually,
you know what Kevin? I actually said to him, I said to him, I was like, you know how rooted is actually
that imagine your whole life, you are obsessed with, you're Tom Brady, like you just, you love Tom Brady,
you love him. And then you finally get him on the podcast. And Tom Brady's like, listen, I tell people,
about part of my take, which is what
Evan Jonas said. He was like, the reason I told him
we had to do chicks in the office. And then
we made a list of most
Tom's, and we were like, Tom Brady,
he sucks. He broke up the Patriots,
which I guess is all kind of true
if we want to go there.
Yeah. But it's like,
yeah, you're not wrong.
But you're right. It is just like
it was, it just, it cut
deeper than it normally does. And look, I also think tensions are high right now. Like Sarah Foster
posted the perfect Instagram. They were a couple stories and she posted them on her actual feed.
It's her and her husband. And they're fighting over their Peloton. She's like, we've officially
run out of things to fight about. We're just fighting about dumb shit because her husband was a
professional athlete. And he's like adamant that professional athletes wouldn't like the
Peloton because they like to just do their own thing and not have somebody like telling them what to do.
And so they're yelling about their Peloton and it's like so stupid. But they're like, we don't have
anything else to argue about. And like, that was, that was me arguing with Ria's boyfriend.
Oh, we're not even in the same place. You're so bored of fighting with Joe. You're now moved on
to fighting with my boyfriend. Yes. Like I, it's just, yeah, it's just exactly. And then it caused
I had your back and, and he was like, I know, it creeped in, mad at me about that. And I was like,
Listen, you clearly didn't pay close enough attention to the documentary.
Nick clearly stated that he broke up the band.
Yes, I didn't want a family, okay?
But Nick is the one who said, yes, I broke up the band.
That's also what bothered me about it because I felt like Hank was trying to
mansplain the Jonas Brothers to us.
And I was like, are you fucking kidding me?
Because he was like, Fred, I watched the documentary.
I'm like, you watched one documentary.
one documentary.
I've been following these people's lives for a decade plus.
Exactly.
That's like we were fighting about this before the group chat and I said I brought up the
Tom Brady thing to you and I was like that's like if Fran started yelling about you
Tom Brady stats, you would be like, shut up.
Like I watched one Tom Brady YouTube video now I know everything about him.
Yes. I, Fran, I'm 100% on your side.
I will not go down.
We won't retaliate.
We won't talk about the worst blakes out there and whatnot.
No.
We're taking the high road.
Yeah, we're taking the high road.
Classy ladies.
We want Kevin Jonas to know that we have his back through the end.
Oh, forever and always.
And I think Kevin knows that.
And I hope to God, I hope that Kevin Jonas did not see that graphic.
Because Kevin is online.
He follows you.
He follows you.
So he totally could have seen your tweet back to him.
And then the graphic.
And that makes me sick to my stomach to think that Kevin Jonas could have seen that graphic.
You know, I said the same thing to hang it.
He was like, fine, I'll delete it.
And I was like, it's been 10 hours now.
Yeah.
Damage is done.
Like, he's on.
He's online.
And then he was like, oh, I'm sure he knows that we're, it's a joke.
I'm like, you put him near Kevin Spacey.
He's not looking at Kevin Spacey.
How would you know?
Ridiculous.
No.
But, like we said, we take the high road.
we brush these things off.
You're not get stressed about dumb stuff because we're thriving and better than this.
We're queens at MaroCard.
We defeat them.
Destroy them.
Make them our bitches.
Yeah.
Fuck yeah.
Oh, man.
Okay.
I'm going to give you an update on Fran works out on quarantine.
So I did another class on a little Peloton app class because the apps
actually pretty great. And I did one workout, just a cardio. I hit training 20 minutes,
did some stretches before and after. Because like my Monday workout, I didn't feel good like until
Friday. Yeah. And so Friday I'm like, you know what? I'm doing it again. My ass hurts so bad.
It's like when I fell down the subway stairs. Oh. And it's like,
And like I felt like I bruised my butt when I fell.
That's how bad it was.
And I was just waddling around everywhere.
That's how I am right now.
Like my,
my,
my butt muscles are just in so much.
That's just going to be popping if you keep doing it.
You know what?
I will say,
I know this sounds ridiculous,
but it's probably because they're really sore.
My cheeks.
I feel a slight difference.
Just like there feels like there's a little like maybe muscle
growing because I don't really like blossoming. Definitely not blossoming. They've got a ways to go,
but just like, you know, when you feel like you get some muscle and it's just, there's just like a little bit
of weight to it. It's like it feels like a little heavier. I'm like, okay, all right.
Yeah. That's wonderful. Yeah. That sounds so nice. I mean, I'm probably making that up in my head to make
myself feel better about working out. No, no, no, but that's what you have to do because that guys your confidence up
and that makes you want to keep doing it. Oh, I feel something. I need to keep doing this.
So that's great. Very true. Exactly. And I will say, I mean, we're now what? This is day
15, 16, like it's 17 for, yes, I think. Yeah. And it's been tough. I will admit to having
there's a lot of ups and downs. I like had a mini freak out on Friday where I just was like
crying for no reason because life is just so.
crazy and that's okay that's what friend yeah exactly we keep saying that it is okay i got it is a little bit
yeah you did deep breaths in which you did you went outside that's what you got to do people take that
take take take take some deep breaths go outside if you can't phone down because the phone i think
uh it's everybody screen time has got to be out of this world it's it's crazy because we're
always like, oh, we need to get away from social media, but now we need to like turn to social
media. Otherwise, we could text and call, but it's a way to get information. It's a way to stay.
And it helps. It helps and it's scary at the same time. Yeah, just put your phone down for a few
hours a day. That's all. I know. I don't yell at you because I'm online like all day long.
Yeah. But it definitely helps sometimes when you're just like, like I was just felt really overwhelmed
and I put my phone down, I went outside, I read my book for a little bit, had a snack.
It's just like, like sometimes we just, like I said to you, which I haven't said on here yet,
we've just reverted to being like 12 years old again.
Like you're in your house.
Well, I don't want the other of it at the same time.
Yeah, like you're in your house.
If you're at home with your parents, you know, you're with your family.
You can't drive.
so you're stuck.
And you just like, maybe you're grounded.
Maybe you're 12 years old and you're grounded so you can't see any of your friends.
And you just have to like, I'm like, what did I do to make me happy when I was 12?
And I was like, I would go into my room.
I would make myself a little book area, get some sunlight, read, and like have a little snack.
Okay, friend.
So that's wonderful.
And that's what you did as a 12 room.
Yeah.
And that's great.
So you're going to do that now.
I, as a 12-year-old one on Club Penguin, I played Mario Kart, I played a lot of video games.
But we also were like...
Everybody has their own way.
We're also, I think I had a lot, not a lot more, but I think I also, like, nah, there was still a lot of stuff.
I feel like you're more like MySpace than Facebook, though. Is that true?
No, I did not have MySpace.
Okay, so maybe I'm thinking you're older than you are right now.
I didn't get a Facebook to like A, 3rd.
grade. I wasn't allowed to and I made it without my mom's permission. Bad. Bad. Well, my friend made it for me. I'll
never forget. That's eighth grade. You made a Facebook. Yeah. It was like, everyone was like you have to have one
going into high school. Yes, because you got to make your high school friends. Yeah. So it was like right at the
end of eighth grade that I, that I made one. Interesting. Yeah. You weren't like a, we talked about this.
You weren't like a club hangman person, but you were a Webkins person. I did. Yeah. Same type of thing. Yeah.
It was just, exactly.
It's just one is like a little cuddlier.
Yeah, one makes it feel a little...
Like one comes with a stuffed animal, so therefore it's my favorite.
And one doesn't.
It's just electronic.
Yep, yep.
All right, well, we have some topics to get into.
Yes.
Good show recaps.
Yes, some good show.
And we're going to...
A lot of people have been asking us about Tiger King.
We are going to recap it for Thursday's podcast.
Yes, so please watch it.
so that you can listen along.
It's on Netflix.
If you haven't watched already,
watch that.
Finish it. If you're watching it now,
finish it by Thursday.
That's what we're going to discuss.
Yes.
Okay, so it's a Kardashian-heavy podcast.
It is.
Courtney Kardashian took away Mason-Dissig's Instagram
after he went on live.
Ben Higgins is engaged to his girlfriend, Jess.
Brody Jenner was spotted out with TikTok star Daisy Keach.
We have a Vanderpomper Rules
recap and we have the Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiere recap and we have our feel-good segment.
So we'll get to that at the end of the show. But let's start off with Brody Jenner.
I know that right now, while we're all home, there's probably a lot of online shopping going on.
Online shopping is supposed to be easy. So why is it so hard to find coupon codes that actually work?
Thanks to Honey, it doesn't have to be. Honey is the free online.
shopping tool that saves you money online. Honey automatically finds the best promo codes and applies
them to your cart, which makes online shopping finally feel as easy as it's supposed to be.
So here's how it works. It's super easy. I just did this last week while I was online shopping.
So you're on one of your favorite sites, Target, Best Buy, Sephora, Macy's, whatever. When you check out,
this little box drops down and all you have to do is click apply coupons. Wait a few seconds for it to scan
for every promo code on the internet and just watch the prices drop. This has happened for me multiple
times. I've gotten getting sneakers from Adidas or clothes from Macy's. Honey has found it's over
18 million members over $2 billion in savings. I was getting some more comfy clothes, obviously,
needed some new sweatpants and was able to save so easily. Did you know Honey supports over 30,000
stores online and they're adding more every day.
Users love honey and that's why it has over
a hundred thousand plus five-star reviews on the Google Chrome store.
Not using honey is literally passing up free money.
It is free to use and installs in just two clicks.
Get honey for free at joinhoney.com slash chicks.
That's joinhoney.com slash chicks.
Brody Jenner was spotted out with
TikTok star Daisy Keech. If you are familiar with TikTok, then you know that Daisy Keech was big on
TikTok. She joined the hype house. Now she's suing the hype house because... Can you give a little
hype house background for those maybe who don't know what we're talking about? Yes. So those are,
I was going to say for the people who do know TikTok, I was going to explain for the people who don't know TikTok.
There is a group of TikTok creators called the Hype House and they were, they're all between the ages of
Charlie D'amalia, who's 15 through 22,
might be the oldest one, I think.
Yeah.
They're all like all around there, 19, 20, 22, whatever.
Yeah.
And they all got popular on TikTok,
and then they formed this hype house in California.
And this guy Thomas and Lil Huddy are, I guess,
in charge of it, you would say.
What's Little Huddy's real name?
I think it's Little Huddy's real name is,
Because I just feel ridiculous calling this...
Calling this child, Lil Huddy.
Chase.
Chase.
Ac.
Little Huddy.
Okay.
Ridiculous.
I did see.
I did see because I do dabble in paying attention to this sometimes when I'm like in my TikTok, going through TikToks.
Or looking at Charlie's Instagram.
Did she and Chase break up?
I don't know about that, Fran.
Because there's his rumors.
I have no idea.
About him cheating.
I heard the distance.
track. I wouldn't, I wouldn't be surprised if he cheated. Yeah, yeah. His name is Little Huddie. Uh,
but that, but that's basically what the high pass is. It's just a group of TikTok creators.
But Daisy Kich, who was a part of the high pass, is now suing Thomas and Chase Hudson, aka Lil Huddy,
uh, because apparently only one of them has control of their social media accounts and
they lead them out of business decisions. And basically he ruins like other sponsorships for them.
because he makes the decisions, everything's on him.
So Daisy is now suing him,
and now she's making TikToks with this girl, Abby Rayo, I think,
is how you pronounce her name.
I just want to be out there.
My personal favorite TikToker is Addison Ray.
I love Addison, Ray.
She's part of the hype house, but she now hangs out with, like,
David Doebrook and the vlog swat, and I'm like,
I respect a great dancer.
So pretty.
I respect Addison because I have watched her TikToks before,
and she does not give a flying,
fuck. Like, that girl will TikTok no matter where she is. Like, she's in crowded stores. She's in Starbucks.
She's in the middle of the street. Like, she will get that TikTok done wherever she is. She was a part of
the high pass. Yeah. Yeah. She kills it. She's my favorite TikToker by far out of those people. But yeah,
Daisy Keish is now suing them. So now, apparently, she's seen with Brody Jenner, which
Brody Jenner fucking loves blondes. Like, he just loves.
blunts. It's very clear at this point in time, Brody Jenner's preference is ones. Every person he dates
looks the same. And now I will say, so Brody Jenner is 36. And these women that he is being seen
with keep getting younger and younger. Because first it was, you know, obviously he was with Josie
Konseko for a little bit. Now, Daisy is 20 years old. She was born in 1999.
which I would think would freak Brody out,
but I mean, he's Brody Jenner, so maybe not.
What also makes me laugh is that, like,
this is the time, like, life is just crazy.
Like, we have all of this world just disaster going on
with the coronavirus and, like, very serious stuff.
And that's happening over here.
And then there's also a 20-year-old suing 20-and-17-year-old.
old because of their TikTok hype house. Like it's just so crazy to me that like this 20 year old girl is
suing a 17 year old boy and then like another boy. I don't know how old Thomas is. But like
that little huddy's really young. And I just, I'm like, bro. And they were seen at the, of course
they were seen at like the very fancy grocery store in, um, in LA that everybody goes to.
So are you going to tell me Brody Jiner and Daisy Keatsy are quarantining,
together? I don't know.
I know.
I know.
It makes me feel weird.
Yeah. So E posted the article and said that on Friday, they were photographed together
in the Los Angeles area around noon, leaving the upscale supermarket.
I don't know how to say this, and I'm probably going to say it wrong.
Airwan?
Yeah, that's how I pronounce it.
Not Erowan.
Yeah.
With to-go containers and drinks and driving off in his pickup truck.
So they left together,
which makes me think that they're spending some time
unless they don't give a shit about social distancing.
They're just, they're hanging.
An eyewitness told E-News that the two acted flirty
and that after Keats returned the shopping cart,
she smiled at Jenner and touched his arm as she walked by.
She also used the ATM and he waited outside for her.
He opened the car door for her,
but she then wheeled the cart away
and then got inside the vehicle on her,
own when she returned.
See, like, I mean, sorry, Daisy, but you're not going to be the last of Brody Jenner's
blonde girlfriends.
No, definitely not.
But it's just, it is funny because no matter what Brody will just be that guy, you know?
Yeah, he's just, like, girls, girls, I think will always be like, you know what, worth a shot.
It's Brody Jenner.
Yeah, Brody Jenner is just like, I guess.
timeless? They just want to see what it is. Yeah, I guess that feels younger. That feels wrong.
Like that feels wrong. But I think we are like any girl should be able to. Right. I mean like he's
always been hot, but like I was younger. And now when I'm older, I'm like, I'm not so into Brody
Jenner. Right. Timeless just makes me think like Leonardo DiCaprio and Brody is obviously not
near that standard.
Brody Jenner's reality TV timeless.
Right.
Reality TV Leo.
Our timeless.
Yeah.
Reality TV Leo.
Yeah.
I feel like that's probably fair because it's so clear that these beautiful girls,
like they see Brody Jenner and they're just like, damn.
And look, Brody Jenner is still very hot.
He is.
Yeah.
That's facts.
He is.
And for all those who maybe want another refresher on who Daisy is,
if you did hear a story about an Instagram model getting her ass certified as real by a doctor,
and she was like the first real certified ass is what she was like her Instagram bio was.
That is Daisy Keach.
Certified, real.
Certified real ass.
Where would you put Tyler then?
Because we just made, we just had Brody.
Then it's kind of like, wait a see.
second. He just hasn't been around. Yeah, just Brody. Yeah. Yeah. Brody just has,
I don't know what the right word is. I feel like obviously Brody has been around longer and
he's related to the Kardashians. Yeah, maybe it's just like the fame adjacent. Like he's much
more fame adjacent to people. Yeah. That makes him feel like, that makes it feel like he's more
famous. With Elvis and
Caitlin Jenner. Yeah.
That is very, very true.
That's, and like, and Tyler, I think it's all just
too recent. I mean, Brody's, Brody's clocked, you know,
15 years. He's putting in the work.
Yeah, exactly. Tyler has not put in that many hours yet.
Right. We're not, we're not quite there yet with, for him.
Here's a feel-good Bachelor Nation story.
Ben Higgins is officially engaged to his girlfriend, Jessica Clark.
Yeah, this is, I'm very excited for them.
They, I, we have obviously met Ben once.
He was on our show with Becca.
And he was great.
I feel like he is a super, super nice guy.
And everything he posts with Jess.
on social media is so cute.
I feel like every other bachelor person, past, present, future,
like they only have nice things to say about Ben and Jess,
that they are so cute.
And it's very nice to hear that, like, in this crazy time,
Ben figured away to work it out.
He told E.T. that he had been planning this proposal for months,
but obviously everything changed amid the coronavirus pandemic.
so he actually wanted to propose in New York City when Becca and Ben were supposed to be there for The Bachelor
live on show, live on tour. So that would have been like last weekend too was when they were
supposed to be in New York City. Remember? So I'm like kind of sad for him that he like,
that they didn't get that probably awesome, like New York City proposal, but obviously with everything
going on, he figured out a whole different plan. So they have been quarantined together, but they drove
to Franklin, Tennessee on Friday so that they could be with Jess's family for the proposal.
Ben told her that they were just going to see her family who secretly knew about the plans.
And then he said, I went back to a pond behind her house and we had it set up with Sunflowers
near bench. It's right in their backyard, but a little hidden. I proposed her and her family and
my are watching from a distance, and then we all celebrated together. He said, I was super nervous.
She's my best friend, my partner, and I love her. I was nervous to kind of do this whole thing in
front of her. I wasn't anxious. It's just a big moment. He said, he started tearing up before he
even reached the proposal spot, when then Jess cried, and they were both just crying.
Jess is that I just I still just can't believe it
And then she said this is exactly how I would have wanted to be
Central Park would have been magical and special in its own way
But it's really cool that we just got to be together last night
And I really have to talk to anyone else
But my family, it was great, it was perfect
I couldn't imagine it a better way
And the pictures are just so sweet
And like they're just so cute
Yeah I'm really happy for them
I feel bad that obviously they didn't get to go to New York
but I feel like just being able to get engaged anyway,
like Ben had the ring, he could do it anyway.
It's just a great way to like uplift their spirits.
Totally.
Exactly.
They're newly engaged.
Now that's something fun to talk about and do when you're stuck and set.
Yeah, exactly.
And to be able to incorporate her family and everything.
And it feels good.
Like I feel like Ben, hopefully this is it for Ben.
He found the love of his life.
obviously Ben had, you know, Ben was engaged to Lauren and they broke up and Lauren then is now
married to Chris Lane. Yeah. And they're happy as fuck. That's what I'm saying. Like everybody,
like I feel like everybody from that season, they're in like great places now out of all of them.
Ben's engaged Jojo and Jordan are still together and going strong. So I feel like it's just
a happy ending for everybody. And I'm happy for Ben. He's such a sweet guy.
Yeah, he is really just a nice guy.
That's how everybody describes him, but it's just true.
I know.
It sounds so generic.
Very.
He's so nice.
Yeah, that's it.
Just really nice.
Yep, exactly.
Mason Dissick has been making waves on Instagram and TikTok.
Yes, you heard that correctly.
Mason, Dissick, the Lord and Courtney's son.
We talked about it on the last show about how Mason had gone on Instagram live and said
that Kylie and Travis weren't together, but then his Instagram got taken down. Apparently he was
too young. Courtney then explained why Mason's Instagram got taken down. And then Mason just went on
TikTok and went on live again. Right. So let's play the clip of Courtney explaining why she took
the Instagram away. Noah, put that in there. But he had an Instagram? He started an Instagram
like yesterday and didn't ask us.
And so I...
He doesn't. He has a...
Oh, the iPod.
And a computer for his school.
Right.
So anyways, I did delete it because Scott and I just felt like he isn't...
He's 10.
I think there's an age limit with Instagram.
I think it's 13.
100%.
No, but just in general.
No, I'm saying, but like...
Just in general.
I just, I think on Instagram,
the thing that really worries me with kids is just comments.
People can be so mean.
And I'm...
Or thinking that that's real life and then not going and, you know,
and we do this even.
Like, we're always staring at our phone instead of looking around
and seeing the beauty and everything.
I mean, so cliche to say, but it's so true.
Like, it's really easy to get consumed with it.
Yes.
Just you're bored for it.
one second and it's like it's like we we can't just sit with our own feelings so we have to sit there
and be you know finger something our phones at all times fingering our phones at all times
not in that way oh my god no but you know what i'm saying but yeah i think it's i just think
i don't know we we we you know i just feel like it's not it's not the time no i i completely agree
I can't believe Mason tried to do that.
And then I made it private, and then he turned it back to public without me knowing.
And he, so I just...
What was the name?
I don't know, like Mason Dissec Official or something.
It's gone. It's deleted.
Oh, my God. That's so funny.
Can you imagine when Penelvie, Ray, and Mason are all teenagers?
No.
What are you going to do?
I have no idea.
lock them in the house
I don't even I can't even imagine
okay so that obviously makes a ton of sense
Mason just did this
I don't even know how Courtney says he doesn't have a fault
he has an iPad though
like right right like he must have an iPad
he has no access to electronics
Courtney come on yeah
it is it's just so funny
so there you go I mean
Courtney had said that
it had it was gone deleted made it without her knowledge and then even after the instagram
situation she uh he went to tic-tok now his tic-tok had been i don't know was did they take
away his tic-tok or did tic-tok take down his t-tick-tok t-tick-tok took down right what happened to your
TikTok. It got deleted because I was too young because I weren't viral. I would have had 2.7 mil by now
if I kept it up. Will there be hype house additions? For mine? No. We don't really do that.
How's your mom? Good. I see new on keeping up in the Kardashians. Yeah, I'm on that.
Oh, have you seen story recently? No, because Corona. Oh my God. We say, no, I'm not going to go out of my mom.
And he was just like, I would have went viral.
And then people were asking questions like,
you heard the clip when they were like,
I saw him on keeping him with the Kardashians.
And he's like, yeah, I'm on that.
He's just a sassy 10-year-old.
Wait, yeah.
A fuck about the Kardashian rules.
He doesn't care about any secrets because he doesn't know what a secret is yet.
He's just spilling.
He's not spilling everything, but he's going to if he keeps going on live.
I'm sure that Courtney Kardashian has now like a lock on these apps
because he's reckless.
He can't be stopped.
Mason's just like, wait until North,
wait until North gets a whole.
Oh, boy.
TikTok and Instagram on her own.
Oh, my God.
Apparently North does have her own TikTok,
but it's private, obviously,
just so she can make stuff with their friends.
But it's just...
Courtney are fucked with their kids.
Their kids are going to dominate them.
Yeah.
I mean, they're all going to get dominated by Stormy.
Let's be real.
That's true.
I have dinner's, you know.
Yeah, I mean, stormy, watch out.
Exactly.
Mason also talked about not being able to go to Coachella because of Corona.
What 10-year-old is going to Coachella?
Is that even allowed?
I thought there was an age limit.
I thought you had to be at least 16.
I know.
I know, well, Mason can go wherever he wants.
I was astonished when he said that.
He's like, well, we can't go.
And then somebody has seen Stormy goes,
No, because Corona.
But he's so nasty.
Right.
And while I was thinking about this, I did remind myself, like, this is Scott Dissick's child.
Like, Scott has obviously been through a lot.
He's come out the other side.
But there's been a lot of ups and downs.
And I'm sure Scott is a phenomenal father.
But, you know, this kid's half Dissick.
Great point. He's half to sick. He spends time with his father, who is the Lord.
Then the Kardashian family, like, they're all crazy. Right.
Like, how would you be if, you know, right, like, how would you be if your dad literally referred to himself as the Lord?
Right. It's like a little bit of a little bit. I'm not going to call the kid an asshole, but, you know.
Yeah. Right. It's, you never know what could be happening in the future, but.
I feel like this kid is just going to continue to find ways to get on to social media.
He will not be denied.
While we are all at home right now, I'm sure we're watching a ton of TV hanging out.
But guys, my favorite part of my week is when I sit down, I relax, I pull up my favorite show,
or I'm maybe listening to one of our episodes, and crack open a quick.
Coors Light. There's only one beer out there that's literally made to chill, and that's Coors Light.
The mallons on the bottles and cans even turn blue when your beer is cold. That way, you always know
when it's time to chill. So when you need to hit reset, just open up a Coors Light. It's mountain
cold refreshment made to chill. I absolutely love Coors Light. This podcast loves Coors Light. We've had
some great times. And right now, with everything going on, it's just so much in the world.
that if you just need some time to relax, to just calm down, sit back, chill out.
That is what this beer is for.
Corz Light is brewed with a three-step cold process, cold loggered, cold filtered, and cold
packaged so it's actually made to chill.
The mounds on Corz Light, cold-activated bottles, and cans turn blue when chilled to perfection.
Born in the Rocky Malins of Colorado in 1978, Corz Light is refreshing, crisp, and only 102 calories.
I remember Thursday afternoon, it was, you know, getting to be four or five o'clock, and I was ready to just chill out, relax.
Our new episode had just come out, and the best way to do that was with a Coors Light.
I have cans, I have bottles at my house, I cracked open a bottle.
It was perfect.
That's why Coors Light is the one we choose when we need a moment of chill.
So when you want to reset, reach for the beer that's made to chill.
And that's coming from the Coors Brewing Company, Golden Colorado.
and guys always remember to celebrate responsibly.
Cheers.
Thank you guys.
Thank you guys so much.
The world's most refreshing podcast.
Yes.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiere was on Thursday, so we're talking about it now.
This shit was intense.
Okay, we got a lot of things answered for us that were put out on TMZ earlier in the year.
Everything was answered, Courtney Kardashian, lashing out a little bit as well as Kim and Chloe.
So we'll go through it, starting from the beginning.
Right.
So everybody's back.
They're back to filming.
They're done with their beautiful vacations.
I feel like at the beginning, everybody was just talking about how amazing their vacations were, which congratulations.
Sounds so nice.
A lot of beautiful vacations.
Yeah, a lot of beautiful vacations.
And so Kim heads to New York to do press.
for skims. Tristan is also in New York and Tristan calls her up. She's like, I just saw you. Was that you
across the street? They had just ran into each other. And Kim had kind of walked into inviting
him to dinner sort of. Like it was, it was a fairly awkward conversation just because she was like,
oh, we're meeting at 7.30. Like, maybe come have a drink. And then.
And, you know, leave.
She was like, oh, yeah, I'll come.
Then she was like, yeah, or like dessert or something.
And he ended up coming for the whole dinner.
But she obviously asked Chloe's permission and accepted.
Yeah, we see Kim call Chloe on FaceTime to let her know what she had done.
And Chloe was not mad at all.
She was like, that's extremely generous of you, Kim.
Yeah.
Kind of confused at that because Kim and Tristan and have had their problems, obviously.
but Kim they show a flashback to Kim and Kim's like I'm going to spit on him which is hilarious
but then I thought this was interesting that Kim mentioned she was like mom cheated on dad and their
friends forgave mom yeah wow that's so true we forget that Chris Jenner kind of you know
a little snuck around around Rob Kardashian's back and their friends ended up forgiving Chris and
Rob and Chris were friends.
So I can kind of see where that came from.
Like, okay, for the sake of true, since they have a kid together,
kind of need to, you know, move past us in that way.
It feels like they've gone to that point in their relationship
where the hatred has diminished and now there can just be like a borderline.
I'm not even going to say friendship, like acquaintances.
They're like acquaintances.
They can live in the same world.
Right.
Baby steps because, you know, for the sake of true,
just like how Rob and Chris Jenner had to get along because of the children that they had.
Yes, exactly.
And then we move to the next scene where it's Kylie talking about her ballmom deal.
And I just need to say that Kylie Jenner's ass literally took my brain.
Rutherway in the next scene when it popped up, I literally said, what the fuck.
Walking into her office.
Yes, walking into her office.
It poked me in the eyes.
I recall, I recall the scene.
It was insane.
She was in these leather pants and this ass was just in my face, which is fine.
Like, they're into that type of thing.
They look great.
I think they have great bodies.
But we need to go back to a previous time when we would talk about if the Kardashians'
asses were real and we said that they might be.
They're not.
They're just not.
Kylie, there are bodies that they paid for.
Yes.
It is not humanly possible for somebody to have that ass naturally.
It is, it really is.
It's crazy.
I know.
And we have discussed this before.
But now that, like, Kim has these, um, I'm not Kim, Kylie's friends,
I feel like are all morphing into the same body that Kylie has.
It's just like, okay, clearly they're all going in the same doctor.
And they're getting the Kylie Jenner special.
I mean, her.
Yes.
Yes.
Like Kylie's makeup artist, Ariel, like he has Kylie's body too.
Like they have the same thing.
The same thing with like Nikita.
Like I feel like they all just went to the Kyle.
They all got the Kylie Jenner special.
Right.
And it's obviously you weren't all born with the same genetics.
So not every single one of your bodies is going to look the same.
I'm talking about not the Kardashians, obviously, their family, but like her friends.
Her friends.
Yeah, of course.
You're not all born the same.
We all don't have the same body shapes.
We just don't.
But all their bodies now look like Kylie's.
Exactly the same.
It's insane.
So I wanted to point that out because I was floored when she was walking into her office.
I was like, oh my God.
I know that thing is big, but just seeing it on video is way different.
It also was insane to hear her say, like, I turned 22 and it was great.
Oh my God.
She goes, I'm 22.
Feel like I'm 47.
Dash Kylie Jenner dash me.
That's how I feel all the time.
Yeah.
But I also feel like I'm maybe 45.
Yeah.
It's insane.
She's just, I was thinking about it.
I'm like, where was Kylie Jenner going to be when she's 47?
She's already a billionaire.
That, I don't, my brain can't even calculate that.
I know that sounds ridiculous, but like,
the fame and fortune that she could potentially have by that age is unbelievable.
It's hard to, it's hard to even comprehend.
It's quite sickening.
It really is.
Kylie, but it's also.
Right.
Exactly.
Like, she's doing all these huge things with Kylie cosmetics,
talking about this campaign.
You know,
she's working the show in Paris for Olivier with doing all the artists.
the model's makeup. So she's doing some really cool stuff. Yeah. Then we move past that,
which I thought that stuff was like, I'm glad Kylie's in it, but kind of boring, despite what was
happening in the rest of the episode with Tristan and Courtney and everybody. It flashed to Courtney and
Courtney is talking about how she hates her hair and she doesn't want to film. Meanwhile, I got her hair
looked great personally. She had a really, really busy day, Ria. Like a really busy day. I don't think you
I don't think you understand how busy her day was. Yeah. And Chloe, I think the best part is them
kind of breaking the fourth wall down. Chloe like kind of looks at the camera and it's like,
what is going on? She's so confused. I'm saying because in Chloe's point, she's like, we signed a
contract. This is our job. We agreed to this. So I agree with that part of it. Like if you sat down
and you signed a contract, that is your job. 100% your job. You have to do it. If you didn't sign a
contract, it was kind of something you were being forced into and they were pressuring you,
do this, do this, but you didn't want to sign. Okay, which was part of the thing, but then she
agreed to do it. So it's like, if you didn't agree to do it, if you don't want to do it,
don't fucking do it, which now she tweeted, um, that she did quit because somebody said the same
exact thing and she was like, I did quit. Bye. So I guess she's off it now. Yeah, so I guess maybe she's
not filming 19. I don't know. So this is, like we said, this is season 18. But like, yeah,
A girl tweet at her, Courtney Kardashian just needs to quit the damn show.
I'm over her not wanting to film.
And then Courtney retweeted and said, I did.
Bye.
So I guess like this was before that announcement maybe that she had decided that she was going to stop filming.
Because that clearly, that clearly is the decision that needs to be made.
Because as a viewer, I'm also getting pretty tired of just watching.
watching Courtney not want to be on their show.
Yeah, it's like, oh, every scene she's in,
we just hear about how she doesn't want to be in that scene.
Right.
And just don't put that scene and fill the show
with scenes of Kylie, Kendall, somebody else.
Right.
We don't need to see her complaining every scene.
It's just a lot of drama.
But I'm just...
I know.
I just feel like Kim, I feel like Kim, Courtney and Chloe
have been having the same fight for seasons now.
Like multiple seasons,
they're having the same fight about Courtney being rude and just being negative and having bad vibes
and Kim and Chloe ganging up on her and it's just like the same fight over and over.
I'm just like, okay, they got to figure something out because this is, this is getting to be too much.
Because then, you know, you see Courtney yelling about the plane bill that for the trip to Costa Rica.
And you're right.
I feel like as the show has gone on,
they have become more and more open
about discussing, like, actually being on the show
and their parts on the show.
Because even then, Courtney's like,
well, why is a production paying for this?
So it's all, and Kim explained it all.
Like, you know, Courtney had more,
they had more people coming.
Kim's staff couldn't fly private.
So Courtney had to pay for Kim's staff
to fly commercial.
Yeah, that part I kind of understood both angles.
Like, okay, yes, Kim should not be paying for Courtney.
But if Courtney wants to say production should be paying,
I feel like you have enough money to pay it,
but I understand when you're like, this is being used to film.
They're filming us, like this is a new trip.
But if you decided on your own you're going to go,
then you should pay, not if work was like, hey, we're spending you.
That's two different things.
That's like if we wanted to go somewhere,
I wouldn't just say, like, if Barstall was like, I want to send you because you're going to go work, like, yeah, pay for me.
But then opposite, I wouldn't be like, I expect my job to just pay for me because I want to go on vacation and I may end up filming something there.
Like, you know, it's just a little different.
But then.
And I feel like Courtney, and I feel like Courtney is so like anti-show right now that she, in her mind, she's like, well, I hate doing this.
I might as well get the show to pay for these things.
things that I hate doing. Yeah, I mean, oh, you hate going on lavish trips. Is that right? Yes.
So then we move on to Tristan and Kim at dinner. And I just want to know why all of a sudden I feel like
the need to feel bad for Tristan Thompson. And I don't. They did a good job. They did a good job of like
making Tristan look good in that moment. Yeah, the Cardacchians may forgive him, but I don't. Like I don't
forget what Tristan Thompson is done.
Yeah.
And they can forgive him and that's great for their family.
But you guys have made us all kind of despised Tristan Thompson.
Yeah.
Like I saw Tristan Thompson as the enemy.
Yeah.
And now he's being painted as this angel in front of my eyes and I'm feeling torn.
I agree with you.
Like even when, you know, Kim is explaining to everybody at dinner that Tristan's coming and everyone's
surprised.
But then Tristan shows up.
he shows up alone. And so like, and Kim's telling everyone, I can't believe he showed up alone.
Like that was so big of him. Like what, you know, and, and I'm like, in my head, too, I was like,
wow, way to go, Tristan. Like, good for you for showing up alone and, you know, facing the music
and putting yourself in that situation. And then you're like, well, wait, why am I thinking of that?
He, like, this, him showing up at dinner wouldn't even be a problem if you didn't cheat.
Exactly. I'm like, well, your actions are the reason why we're all feeling this way.
Yeah. So I don't know. I mean, it's good for her, it's good for true. But obviously then Chloe expressed her concerns about Kim and him hanging out too much now because then he was invited to their house. And Kim was just like, Chloe was just like, they were at Chloe's house. Yeah. And Tristan was supposed to go inside to eat with the kids. Yes. And Chloe was just, she just wants Kim to maybe check in with her because, you know, everything.
fine, but it's not great.
Totally. I think, I think
Chloe, totally I'm on Chloe's side.
Yeah, Chloe handled it really well because
like she got through the dinner fine.
Like she was like, this is my first dinner with Tristan
where True hasn't been here, like, since the whole situation.
So, like, they're thrown in this very awkward situation
where not only is it their first dinner, but like, it's a family dinner
that Kim just invited him to sit down at.
And she very calmly,
explained to Kim while Kim was going through her dress closet talking about how ugly all of her
dresses were, that, you know, those are decisions that Chloe should make for herself.
Yeah, I agree with that. And then we have a question. You think Kim will ever stop making fun of
Chloe's clothes? No, I think that Kim will always make fun of everybody's clothes. She did it to Courtney,
It's Chloe. I think that Kim
she has the best style, but I mean,
she has good style, but it's not,
Kim Kardashian style is never
somebody's style that I want to model my style after.
I never looked for her clothes and was like,
I want Kim Kardashian's clothes.
Because I think I've seen better.
Like I like Kendall style better than I like Kim.
Right, right.
But then we talk, there's some talk about the Kylie stuff.
She's really sick. She can't make it to Paris for the show.
We saw that happen.
on Instagram when she posted that she couldn't make it to the show. I remember that she was really
sick. Yeah. It is what it is. Like, wasn't the biggest thing of the episode because we move right on,
right into Courtney and Kim physically attacking each other. I will say my, my favorite part of this
episode though was Kim and Jonathan and Kim explaining to Jonathan how desperate Chris is to get somebody
from the family to Paris and how like Chris is just used to Kim showing up. No,
matter what, like, she's on her deathbed, she's going to show up and that she, and that Chris was
texting Kim, like, I will give you $300,000 in cash and a jet if you come right now. Like, it's just
so funny because it is their mom, but like she's also their, you know, she's also Kylie's manager,
like, she's all their managers and she's doing all this and she works for Kylie Cosmetics. And then,
like, that is just a hilarious text message to me because that explains, that explains, that explains
Chris Jenner. Like, that's how Chris Jenner gets shit done. She sends text to her own children being like,
okay, $400,000 cash, and I will get you a plane to Paris tonight. I mean, that just shows how much
they do have because they, none of them went. I mean, I would take that off in second. Right, like,
right. Right. Like, you need to fly to Paris and you'll give you $400,000. Right. Ash and a private jet?
sure like she upped it a she upped it a hundred thousand dollars mid text conversation and kim was like
nah i'm still good i wish my mom would call me with that kind of problem you know right that's not
that's not what i get yeah rea 300 000 cash i just would i would be out the door
up front it's it's that is really it is really crazy um she tried she tried bribing all of her
children and it didn't work none of it worked and they're all talking about
that they're at chloe's house it's courtney kim chloe kendall and kim starts talking about how but again she's like you know mom is just so used to me and corny i mean
me and chloe just so shady um and kendall was like what the fuck kent this actually started because
kendall got mad because kendal got mad what do you mean like i and kim was like well you get anxiety
what kim have a heart right is chris jenner's child through and through i know she's like you get like anxiety
and don't fly.
Yeah, it's wild.
But Courtney then gets really pissed, and she, it starts, the words are going back and forth.
Yeah.
And Courtney gets up and throws her water at Kim.
And then Kim goes to grab her, Courtney goes to grab her, they're scratching each other,
they're hitting each other.
It ended with Kim actually, like, slapping her in the face and her head.
But the thing is, Courtney kind of started the physical altercation.
She threw something at Kim.
And if somebody threw something at me, I would react.
No, like, understandably, this was so trashy and whatever.
But if somebody threw something at me and started coming towards me, I would react the same way as Kim.
I'd be like, I'm going to punch you in the face right now.
Get away from me.
What are you doing?
And I will say, like, it definitely had some classic sibling fight tone to it.
But then I also think that these are, you know, grown ass, like 40-year-old.
old women. And also, I feel like it started kind of, like, how every sibling fight starts,
where it's, like, kind of playful and you're not really being that serious. But then one of you
does something that puts it over the top. Like, you could tell when Kim, you could hear it in her
voice, like, she almost started crying because Courtney must have, like, dug her nails. She was like,
don't ever take her nails it to me like that. You could tell she was, like, almost.
It was just that one thing that put her over the edge
that made her start to cry and then try and slap the shit out of Courtney.
Yeah, which, listen, I don't support the violence,
but if you're going to take her nails into me,
I will probably slap you in the face as well.
Like, that's just, if you're going to go there, I'm going to go further.
So I understand Kim's like, and even Courtney,
then Courtney starts going back, like, you can't, I,
this is way, when I was way younger, one time,
I threw a shoe at my sister and I ran the other way.
And my sister was like, you can't fucking throw a shoe at me and then run.
Like, you now have to defend yourself.
Right, right.
So true.
Like, you can't just throw something and leave.
That is very true.
And also...
Just don't fight.
Just don't physically fight in general.
That would be...
No, no, no.
I'm with you.
Yes, of course.
Also, I look like, Kendall was in the room and just seemed to not do anything.
Like, Chloe tried to break it up or get...
in between the two of them.
But, yeah, that escalated really, really fast, really fast.
So, and they, and, you know, they both kind of acknowledged how childish it was,
like Courtney was like, that was trash.
Like she said that about their fight.
And, yeah, but clearly emotions are so high between them,
which also, it feels like explains why Courtney is not.
doing this show anymore, so she says.
But what a way to start 18?
Yeah, I'm, I'm into this season, I will say.
Yeah, well, you know, when you start off like that, it's just, it's, you, you really
start off swinging, literally.
Well, and on that note.
Last week's Vanderpump Rules was honestly one of my favorite episodes in a while, because it,
it had every range of emotion.
Like you're crying because you're laughing,
you're crying because you're sad.
Not even sad,
but like there was super heartfelt moments,
super ridiculous moments.
And that's just why the show is so good
because, one,
the episode started off with a memorial service
for a lizard.
I was very confused.
But Tonsch,
was upset, so I was upset.
Tom Schwartz, I just, all right, so, you know, Tom Schwartz, he got this lizard named Dog,
and dog the lizard lived for about a week, and then passed away.
And Schwartz said that he was going to have a memorial service for him, and he was going to invite
all their friends, and they were going to do it at the Mondrian.
So there they are, the Mondrian, Hotel, Bar and Pool.
Shout out to the Mondrian.
Yes.
In there.
Which we have stayed at.
No big time's there, friend.
Yeah.
And so...
Wild.
Yeah.
So they're all outside.
Like they have a...
The picture of the lizard.
And it was just...
It was emotional in like I felt sad for Schwartz, but was also laughing so hard because
Sandoval was like...
so genuinely, like, trying to make Schwartz feel better.
And Schwartz was straight up crying.
And then I, you didn't know his history.
Schwartz has a love for reptiles and amphibians.
And I was like, I'm so, I feel so sad for her, but this is also so ridiculous.
Yeah, like, this is too ridiculous.
Um, but it was funny.
Like, I'm sorry, I thought it was funny.
And I think that the whole editing thing, like, I think the thing knew it was going to be
funny.
Mm-hmm.
I'm with you like they obviously put it together that way they had jacks like talking about a
PowerPoint and he explained PowerPoint and like a way that it's not PowerPoint.
I wrote that down as something I wanted to talk about.
Yeah.
Like he was like you know when you when you make them.
They were talking about that for the vows for Jackson.
No, I thought they were talking about that with the.
No, they were talking about that with with Jackson Brittany's vows.
Oh.
Because
Brittany was like,
oh,
people keep texting me
about the wedding.
Like it was the best thing ever
about how your vows
are so cute.
And then they were talking about
how he prepared
and he said both PowerPoint.
PowerPoint.
Which I really just think
like PowerPoint to him
is a presentation
where the,
the PowerPoint
is just a powerful point
that you make.
Yeah.
That is what it seems to be.
which really made me laugh.
It was great.
It was good production on this episode,
like good editing with the, you know...
Bachelor style.
Right, with like the fake PowerPoint coming up.
And then obviously all like the throwback one week,
like old school videos of Schwartz with his lizard
and black and white and just kind of the memorial service vibes for it.
But while this is all going on
and Schwartz is so upset about his poor lizard dog,
there's some Max Danica
Dana issues going on
like Max says that he wants
Danica ban from Tom Tom
that she can never come in
and Danica is the manager of Sir
and Max is the manager of Tom Tom
and that Danica has just been saying all the shit
about Max
and the way Max explained it to Schwartz
was that it was like
more on the business side
when it was really just like
a personal vendetta
It had to do with him, like, he just doesn't want people, I think, telling the truth about him,
because personally, I don't really believe Max.
Neither do I.
I don't believe.
I don't believe one thing that comes out of that guy's mouth.
Neither do I.
Like, I think that Danica is probably right in what she's talking about with Max.
But Max, obviously, like, wants to keep this thing with Dana going, which I just think is not
there.
Like, I think that Dana and Max need to stop this little, oh, are we going to date or not
to date because it's just not there. Yeah. Yeah. And I, it's weird because now it feels like Dana's
trying to push it and I'm just like in my head, I feel like Dana's just so much better than that.
And it, it felt very dramatic. Like Max and Danica had this confrontation. Like Danica,
Danica seems ready for her reality TV career. Like she had the, like she had that confrontation
down to the, you know, right to, down to the tea of, like, how she wanted to kind of, like,
lay down the law and say, you can't do that and then start clapping in his face, like,
very, like, that's, that's very reality TV fight to me when you start clapping in someone's
face.
It's very, that's where it came from.
Yeah, exactly.
Like, she, and, you know, that's my sister restaurant and the whole thing was very dramatic,
but I also did.
I also laughed at Tom and Tom when they were like, oh, God, why is she clapping at his face?
They know that they're past that.
That's just like an early Vanderpump season thing.
Yes.
But they got pissed when Max did explain that it was 90% personal of why he wanted to ban her from Tom, Tom.
Yeah, which is owning up to.
Yeah.
And then we saw a little bit of Raquel and James and Lala drama develop.
But it's weird because we thought we were seeing it.
be solved, but then we saw the end happen. Lala had reached out to Rakel. And as Danica was explained to
Raquel what was happening with Max, Raquel shows Danica, the text between Lala and Lala have reached out
to Raquel wanting to give her a little light on what it's like, I guess, dealing with an alcoholic
because Lala has dealt with that herself and has, she's a recovering alcoholic. And she just said that
she would love to meet with Raquel to shed some light on what happens when you,
like, act out on your loved ones so that Raquel would feel better.
Raquel ends up meeting with Lala, and in the same moment, James is meeting with Lisa,
because earlier in the episode, we see them run into them, and Lisa's like, I can't talk to you
now, but I'll talk to you this weekend. So we see that both conversations happen at the same
time where Raquel is telling Lala that she brought James to his first AA meeting and he got a chip.
And as he's explaining that to Lisa, he starts crying.
And in that moment, I started crying because you can tell.
Yeah, that was very real.
You can tell even though how much of an asshole James has acted in the past, it seems like going to this meeting, it really got to him and broke him down.
because he saw like what could possibly happen.
Right.
And also getting called out.
I think also just like getting called out by Lisa about like sending those text messages to Raquel and saying those things just like made him realize.
Because Lisa's always been such like a mother figure to him, you know?
Yeah.
So it got, it totally was real, was very emotional.
Raquel actually spoke out on her Instagram about this scene because she said it was
really cut up.
Because, like, it made it seem like, I think Raquel, people, it made it seem like Raquel,
like, rolled over really fast in this, in the conversation.
Like, you know, she had said that she didn't like being called dumb and that Lala said,
my time is very precious.
And I wouldn't waste it on someone who I felt was a true idiot.
And then right away, Raquel was like, that means so much to me, Lala.
Like, thank you so much, you know.
Yeah, that was so.
weird how fast it went. Right. So it kind of seemed like she like rolled over so fast.
Yeah. And somebody commented on her Instagram and said, it was so sad to see Lala not
apologize to you for the things she said to you. And then Raquel and a now deleted comment said,
you know it's even more sad. Lala did apologize and they decided to edit that part out.
And another person had commented, they tried to make it look like Lala gave you a non-apology
and you were just so grateful for any crumb,
L.O.L. I see you editors.
And Raquel said,
our conversation was much, much longer
than what was shown. This conversation
was one of my favorite moments of filming
because we really connected
and were able to move on from last year's argument.
So it seems like they really cut up that conversation big time
and that there were so much more to it
and that Lala did apologize
and they just didn't show it.
Which is interesting because I feel like
they want Raquel to have that like,
helpless
kind of personality
that, you know, because
they made it seem like she rolled over
so quick. It was like, oh, thank you so much, Lala
for saying that when she, like, didn't even say it. Yeah, and I
was, I was confused. I was like, wait, Lala didn't even apologize. What happened?
So it makes sense that stuff was edited because it did seem like Lala
was going to apologize. It felt edited. Like, it felt like they
cut out a chunk of their conversation. And they probably
cut out a chunk of their conversation because they're also showing James
and Lisa's conversation at the same time,
which just was just a hard moment in general,
just made me, I started crying.
I was like, oh my gosh, James is really about to change here.
But then, you know, we move on and we get...
Back to fun stuff.
We get them fighting again, Lala and Raquel.
Right. So Tom Sandoval is having his birthday party,
which is, of course, like, the most...
stand of all thing ever that the theme is like be your extra self so everybody they're all in these
like insane costumes and their most extra self and tom comes in and stilts like the whole thing is so
so over the top but i mean well that's that was the theme of the party like what a great it's a great
excuse to show up to your own birthday extremely over the top when you make the theme to be over the
top. So it worked out in Sandoval's favor, that's for sure. But yeah, that was even more uncomfortable
because Lala and Raquel started talking about James being at somebody's birthday party. And Lala
telling him, telling her that Logan said that everybody at the party was fucked up and that
Logan had videos. And they got into like another kind of serious argument that felt like
escalated really quickly because all of a sudden we were talking about the James
Logan hook up rumors again.
Like that came out of nowhere.
But it seemed like Lala brought that up because she wanted to say that Logan was right.
But then Raquel was like, no, Logan said that he lied about that.
And Lala was like, you seriously still believe that.
So it seems like Logan had told Lala that he lied just for the show.
And Lala was like, no, that's not real.
I don't know if I think we'll end up seeing them probably reconcile later in the season.
But for right now, it seems like Lala and Raquel.
are just going to keep butting heads because James
Big time. And Lala, I think she knows James better.
And Raquel thinks she knows James better.
Does anybody ever think like...
I know.
I think he keeps a lot of secrets to himself.
Totally.
But I think you're right.
Like, I think there's going to be a lot more drama before they potentially do
make up.
Like we did see next week, them fighting again.
And Lala's like, know your place, which was all very dramatic.
But Lala also just posted on Instagram.
recently about her and James coming out with a new song.
So if Lala and James are on a good page right now,
I would assume she and Raquel are as well.
And also I think Raquel wouldn't have commented those things on her Instagram
about Lala apologizing and everything if things like weren't okay now.
But we shall see.
And then the Stasi Katie and Kristen drama is just continuing.
like Katie and Stasi were like using Sheena as like a middleman between them and Kristen
and Stasi's telling Kristen everything that they said and then Kristen's confronting them.
And it just seems like they are toast.
Like that moment at Tom's birthday when Katie and Stacey,
like Kristen was like, we're supposed to be sisters.
And Katie and Sassie were like, we're not sisters.
We haven't been in a long time.
I was like, oh shit.
I was like, damn, they're really laying it on her because they didn't even slightly just be like,
they were like, yeah, no, we're not.
We actually can't stand you.
They didn't say that, but that's what they were thinking.
And I don't personally like Kristen either.
I've never really been a Kristen fan.
I think he's done is kind of made me angry inside.
So I understand their anger with Kristen.
But this season is so good.
Yeah, and the editing has been pretty hilarious too, because you have like Katie.
saying like I have stuff like I find projects and then it's just like a montage of her doing
absolutely nothing which obviously they do on purpose to make it to make it seem like she's doing
absolutely nothing which I'm sure she's not that it probably isn't pleased with when they actually
see the finished episode but it's just like they're all clearly on such different pages right now
like Stasi was like I don't want to do this one with you guys like when the contract is up like I'm
out. Like, see ya. So I, and I will always respect Stasi for, you know, being honest about that and just, like,
telling them how she feels. But it's crazy. Like, they, I don't know how they are now, but they
really cannot stand each other in this moment. Like, it feels like Katie hates Kristen. Like,
I still feel like Stasi a little bit, like, is on the, on the edge and is just, like, really fucking
annoyed with her. Like, it straight up feels like Katie hates her. Yeah, she probably does. Yeah,
it's crazy. Probably. We also saw a preview for next week, which looked not good. Oh, my God.
We just saw, we'll talk more about it when we see the actual context because we don't know what
happened, but I hear Tom Schwartz basically diss his own wife Katie and say, that's why I don't have
sex with her. And my God, I would be divorced from that person. Oh, like, publicly?
Not comment ever.
Not even in private.
Publicly around their friends be like,
and this is why I never have sex with her.
Like I would never, I just would never get over that ever.
You wouldn't, like, there would be no way we could work through that.
I know.
And we love Schwartz, but there is just no way to defend that unless Katie did something super fucked up,
but it didn't seem that way.
So, yeah, I guess we'll see on the next episode.
Oh, man.
Yeah, they're good stuff.
Okay, so we're going to get into our feel-good segment of this show,
where we talk about all the positive stories that are coming out about this time,
because most of it is negative, but there are some good stuff happening.
Obviously, our healthcare workers are going through a lot right now.
People are still going to work, but New York City was clapping it up for them.
We talk about that later in the segment, and we also want to clap it up for them and thank
them. I have an aunt who is a doctor. She's still at work. She's in the medical field and she's been
testing people and I'm sure other people out there, maybe you work in the medical field or you know
some family members. And I just want to say thank you. And obviously, this is a really hard time,
but we're going to pump you up. We're going to make sure that this podcast keeps everybody going,
gives everybody that entertainment and we're going to get some deals as well for these medical professionals
I'm talking about figs I've talked about them many times before figs are the best scrubs to keep yourself
comfortable and they have all different designs and a ton of pockets which is extremely important
important important sorry not important important um and fig scrubs are packed with tons of features and
functionality. They create their own fabric that's anti-microbial, anti-wrinkle, moisture-wicking,
full of stretch, and ridiculously soft. Like I said, there's a ton of pockets, and some styles
include over 10 pockets. They come in all different colors and styles from classic v-neck tops
and straight-leg pants to more fashion-forward collar shirts and jogger pants. And they don't just
stop at scrubs. They also have lab coats, jackets, tote bags, compression socks, and more.
Really, everything modern medical professionals need to take up.
among days and nights.
My sister also uses these scrubs,
and she says that they're by far the most comfortable.
Everybody at work agrees with her.
So if you are a doctor or a medical professional
who is listening to this right now,
you can get a deal on figs by going to wearfigs.com,
enter promo code chicks,
and get 15% off right now.
Once again, you can get your figs,
your scrubs 15% off for a limited time,
going to wearfigs.com and enter promo code chicks at checkout.
All right. To close the show, we have our feel-good segment.
These are just some things we saw in the last few days that we loved
and want to share with you guys during this time.
The first one, there's three of them.
The first one is the residents of New York City last week at 7 p.m.
Everybody agreed that they would, you know, reach out of their windows
and clap for all their
not as, it's for their essential workers,
the essential workers and healthcare workers
and everyone on the front lines battle
in the coronavirus right now.
And the videos are awesome.
If you haven't seen them,
Google them, look it up.
It was like also a beautiful afternoon.
So it's like just a beautiful New York City night
and it's crazy that people are really like
unable to be on the streets in New York right now.
And the claps.
It was just,
it'll bring a tear to your eye.
Yeah.
Right, Rhea?
Yeah.
You sent it to me before.
It did bring a tear to my eye.
As I was watching, I watched it in front of you.
I teared right up.
It's like the videos when we were seeing in Italy, them singing from their balconies,
obviously not the edited ones that I was getting fooled on constantly.
I was just like, why are they all singing Rihanna?
Because he was edited.
But those videos were so pure, and so was this one.
It was really nice.
I really love that one.
The second one, the second one.
is a great update from Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson. They are officially back in the
United States. They have flown home from Australia. It seems that they are feeling good after they
were both diagnosed. He wrote, hey folks, we're home now and like the rest of America, we carry on
with sheltering in place and social distancing. Many, many thanks to everyone in Australia who looked
after us. Their care and guidance made possible are returned to the USA. And many thanks to all of you
who reached out with well wishes. Rita and I so appreciate it. Hanks, H-A-N-X. Tom Hanks, thank God.
Thank God. He's okay. He's home. Rita's okay, which is great. And I am going to miss his little
notes that he updates us with. I'm hoping maybe he just continues to do that about his life,
anyway. He's going to have to keep updating us. You can't tease us like that time. Right. I'm just hoping
months from now or, you know, when when things start to get better, we'll get one of those little
couple sentences where it's like, hey folks, Ria and I went for a walk. We saw this. I had this
conversation. It was beautiful. Have a great day. Hanks. Like that's just, I just want to keep that
kind of spirit going from him. It's mainly just the Hanks sign off. It's, it really is. It's,
Even if you can't be one sentence along, as long as we get that at the end.
Yeah, it really is just the sign off that makes it so much better.
And then the last thing was Drew Brees.
He donated $5 million to the state of Louisiana, a bunch of different charities, a bunch of different causes.
Drew is fantastic.
But Drew went on the Today Show.
So this is kind of a double whammy because not only is it Drew donating $5 million,
but he went on the Today Show to talk to,
Hoda and Savannah about this.
And he explains this and Hoda thanks him.
It was just like, we love you.
Drew's like, we love you too.
And Hoda just started crying, like really crying.
She just got overwhelmed and really just let it all, let it all out.
And she couldn't even talk.
And Savannah was like, do you need me to read the next segment?
She was like, yes, please.
Like, it was just, it was sad, but also beautiful.
because I think it is nice when you see these people who are on air,
show some emotion.
Because this is a very emotional time,
and you don't have to, like, always be so strong.
Right.
And I will say that Hoda lives in the same town that my boyfriend lives in.
And they, he passed her on a run last week.
And Joe, and Joe's, tell me about that.
I know.
And Joe said he just, yeah, you know, they were on their run.
Everybody, you know, six feet apart.
They were on separate sides of the street.
And Joe just gave her like, little fist pump like, hello.
And she gave them back.
Oh, you didn't even tell me about that.
I know, I didn't.
Well, I just remember.
Well, you just told me now.
That's so nice.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It was very sweet.
That's the fourth feel good story.
It is.
It is.
It is.
It is.
Yeah.
your boyfriend
Full circle.
Yeah.
It all comes together.
Yep.
So I think that wraps it up for our feel-good segment.
And I hope everybody is feeling good out there.
Yeah.
And that wraps up this podcast, Francesca.
We'll talk to everybody on Thursday.
We love you guys.
Stay inside.
Keep washing your hands.
Keep doing everything we've been telling you about.
We love you.
Thank you to the people who are still going to work
because there are people still going to work right now.
And we will talk to you.
you guys on Thursday. Have a great week. It is Monday for those who forgot.
Go ahead and
man by the
mrs.
Oh,
no way
down
here I'm
