Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. This is... What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Monday. Yes, it is Monday. If you are confused about the days of the week like I am trying to figure it out each time, it's hard.
Starting point is 00:00:34 But it is Monday. It is Sunday when we're recording. Happy Easter. and pass over to those who celebrate. Shout up, Noah. Yeah. Noah, if you want to add something. Mussel's off, everyone.
Starting point is 00:00:48 That was fantastic. That was beautiful, Noah. That was beautiful. But, of course, this podcast is presented by Macy's, our favorite place to shop right now. Many of you have been asking, I posted a few TikToks. People are asking where I'm getting these outfits from.
Starting point is 00:01:04 They're all from Macy's. I absolutely love what I picked out from there. and you can shop your favorite brands on there as well. Like we've talked about this before, some of our favorite brands, like free people, guests, you type it in, you find it. Same thing with like Nike, Adidas, athletic wear. You can find it all on Macy's.
Starting point is 00:01:22 It really is fantastic. We've been doing a lot of online shopping on Macy's. They have everything we need on top of that, not even just clothes-wise, beauty products, at-home products, anything that you need. If maybe you're trying out some new skincare stuff, Macy's has so many great options. I've also loved everything I got, especially new shoes, just because I've been doing a lot of walking outside, and I got new running sneakers.
Starting point is 00:01:49 You know, technically, I'm not running, and you all know that, but I am walking, and they serve the same purpose, but they're fantastic, you know, Adidas, running shoes. They're so great. I'll tell you, I got the same ones. I got the same ones. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I mean, they're, and it's awesome because this is the perfect time, get to wear them in, make them really comfortable, and they just have so many great options for sneakers, dress shoes, and really any type of shoe you would like. I've gotten a lot of new sneakers that I absolutely love. And they have these Puma ones that are like all white sneakers. Can't go wrong with all white sneakers. But I didn't realize they have this like soft foam insult. So it's like stepping on a friggin' cloud. It's
Starting point is 00:02:35 Great for my bunions. Yeah, you might want to look into those, but I'll send you the Macy's link. It's, they could be worth it for you. Thank you, Fran. And you guys do the same. Go on Macy's. Shop till you drop. You'll find the best stuff. Oh, people also ask me where I got my couch, Macy's. Yeah. I did get my couch in your apartment. Yeah. And my mattress because my grandpa works there and he got me that mattress. So we love Macy's. So go shop there. Yes. Fran, how are you feeling today? It's weird because, like you said, it just really feels like any normal day.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Like there's no, every day really feels the same. So it's kind of crazy that, you know, even though technically it is a holiday, it doesn't really feel it because you can't go out. Like, we're not going to church, which obviously I'm used to doing on Easter. I'm not with my family. So that's another thing that I'm not used to just feels like another day. So it's it's tough. It's kind of sad. Yeah, I agree with you on that. But you know what, Fran? We are here to spread some positivity to the people if they're feeling sad. Maybe they're feeling down in the dumps. I'm assuming that you might have because I feel like everybody has those days where they just go a little bit crazy where they're like, this is really, really sad. What's happening? Is it bad that like as soon, as soon as you said, everybody has those days, the Hannah Montana song started playing in my head.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Like, without fail. Anytime I hear someone say that, I just immediately goes, everybody has those things. Everybody knows what I'm talking about. And I'm just like, okay, we're talking about something serious and why did that just pop into my head? No, friend, that's okay. I love that. That actually makes me really happy because I didn't want to be too serious. because I'm trying to be lighthearted.
Starting point is 00:04:31 Everybody knows what I'm talking about. Everybody gets that way. Sometimes I'm managing. Okay. Moving on, I had some things I wanted to talk about in the intro. I told you, listen, we're trying to do feel good segments. That's at the end of the show. But I have a feel good story about my life that may inspire other people
Starting point is 00:04:51 and may make you feel a little bit of happiness. So I was going through some of my old things. and I posted it on Instagram some of my old modeling photos I found in a book. But inside that book, I also found a note. And inside that book. Yes, it's a dramatic story. I found a note that I'm assuming, if I can put the pieces together, it said, I need to type something to Sam. Now, my dad would always be on the, like, we only had one computer.
Starting point is 00:05:24 So I'm assuming my dad was using the computer and I felt like I had the computer. and I felt like I had to type something to my friend and I wrote something on a note and was like, I need to type, like, please let me on the computer. But we were best friends from like first grade until freshman year of college. Like best friends. We live four houses down from each other.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Freshman year of college. Okay, that's a very long time. Like we lived four houses down from each other. Her mom was my second mom. Like we were as close as you can get as friends. No joke. And then freshman year we kind of just like stopped talking, probably fought over something stupid, and kind of lost touch. But, you know, it wasn't like we hated each other. We just kind of went our separate ways. We were starting new schools. And I had seen her like probably once in between this time because we live, four houses down from each other. We ended up on the same train one day. And we talked for a little bit, but we didn't really talk much after that. But I saw this note. And for, and for, Honestly, she has been on my mind for years. No joke, because she was my best friend.
Starting point is 00:06:30 And I'm just like, you know what? That's just sad. That's just sad that I don't talk to, like, my best friend ever. And my family friends, they'd be like, well, why don't you reach out? I'm like, well, maybe she doesn't want to talk to me. I don't know. You know, you get like a little shy. You're always nervous about making the first move.
Starting point is 00:06:46 Yeah. But I saw this and no, and I was like, oh, I have to reach out to her. Like, this is so cute. And it just reminded me of all these good times. So I sent it to her. and now we've just been talking since. And it honestly has made me feel really happy. Like, I don't know if she would hear this and like be weirded out by it.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Probably not. I'm assuming maybe she feels the same way. But when I first reached out to her, we had like been like, oh, when this is over, we need to get drinks or whatever. And of course you say that, but like you don't know if the other person actually means it. But then she texted me again the other day. And I was like, you know what? This is good.
Starting point is 00:07:19 Like now nothing's like weird anymore. Like we could talk. And it just feels good to like reconnect with. my best friend ever. Oh, that's really sweet. Yeah, it just, it really happy. And you know what? She kind of reminds me of you a little bit. Like, you guys remind me of each other kind of. Yeah. So it just is nice. It feels really nice. And I just wanted to tell that story because I feel like it might inspire people to do the same thing. Like you may have lost touch with a friend. And I feel like right now is the perfect time because everybody is probably doing the same thing. Like they're alone or maybe they're not alone. Maybe they're
Starting point is 00:07:54 with a few other people, but like sitting inside, thinking about things, thinking about life. A lot of time alone to think about your life. Yeah. And I feel like it's just a good time to like, you know, who cares about the past? Like whatever happens happens, we were the best of friends. Now I'm not saying like we're going to become immediately like we were, but it's just nice to know that we could still talk to each other. Right, right. And just and even if you're never on that same level again, it's just nice to have that connection open. You know, like to be able to communicate even if it's, and nobody assumes you have to be like best friends again, but you can just be friends, which is so nice.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Yeah. And her, you know, like her mom and her family, I was so close to them. I've talked to her mom in the meantime. Her mom has reached out to me about, because she's a big like Bravo fan and she's all and she's reached out to me about interviews we've done. So it just, it just was a feel good story that I'd like to share. It's really sweet. I'm really happy for you. And Sam? Yeah. Sam. Hope she, hope she thinks this is really nice. I know. Or maybe, hopefully, like, maybe she doesn't listen to it. I'll probably tell her I said it, though, because I wasn't planning on saying her name. And then I realized that the note. The note said it. So you already said it. So I already had to say her name. But it is what it is. I mean, it's not like, I'm like, oh my God, I hate her.
Starting point is 00:09:20 like it's a positive story. No, that's no. I mean, you're only saying really nice thing. So it's totally fine. But that's, that's really sweet. I'm happy for, for you guys. Oh, thank you, Fran. Anything, anything feel good from you? I haven't reunited with any past friends this week. Now I, I wish I died. I wish I have. No, honestly, it's just, it's, the, the, The weeks, I think, are definitely getting harder and harder. It's crazy that we've kind of been in this situation for about a month-ish now. I mean, I miss seeing everybody from work. I miss seeing you guys. I miss seeing my friends. Like, I haven't seen my family in a really long time. Like, normally, I see my parents at least once a month, and I haven't seen them since we saw them when we went to see them.
Starting point is 00:10:16 That was a while ago. So, and I don't, and I'm not going to be seeing them any time soon. And so it's crazy and, you know, kind of makes you sad. But also I'm just very like, I'm in a great place and happy that like everything is, is okay. But it's, it's been, it's been crazy. But I will say, I know this sounds so stupid, but the coloring book that I got, it came. And it's actually very therapeutic. Like last night, I, first of all, while I talk about that, we'll just say that I was coloring before we went on Twitch.
Starting point is 00:10:57 Maybe that helped. But it's like this, it's from Amazon if you want to get it. You can just Amazon, you know, inspirational coloring book for adults. And it is just like, each page is like, you're the fucking shit. Each one has a curse word in it and has like cool designs. coloring. So the one I was doing right now is, it says like, wake up, kick ass, repeat. And then it has like this cool flower design. And it sounds so silly, but just like coloring, I'm like, yeah, yeah. And coloring is very common anyway. That's why, you know, adult coloring books came back. But
Starting point is 00:11:37 it's actually been very helpful. I have loved doing it. If anybody wants to start coloring, I highly recommend. And then on top of that, Ria and I had an absolute scorcher of a Mario Kart weekend. Friday night, we played Joe and his friend, and we whooped their butts team game, Ria and I against them. Twelve races in a row. Yeah, nominated. Like, it was sickening.
Starting point is 00:12:08 I felt bad for them. Yeah. Saturday night, we went on Twitch. if you guys, you guys should download the Twitch app. Make sure you're keeping up with things that are going on the barstool Twitch and the part of my take Twitch because we are going to keep doing Mario Kart. I figured out how to talk. You can't see me, but you can hear me.
Starting point is 00:12:27 So that's exciting. And we played Smitty and Hank and we whooped their butts. It was best three out of five Grand Prix. We won three straight. It wasn't even close. They had no chance. They had absolutely no chance. We won-ZIP.
Starting point is 00:12:44 4, 8, 12. Yeah, we won 12 races in a row first and second. Well, I think one of them, I came in fourth. Whatever it was, we still won. It doesn't matter. At the end of the day, we still won. Three grand prix in a row. It felt so good.
Starting point is 00:12:59 We're going to be doing that more often. Yeah. Follow on the, because we go live on, me and Hank go live on the part of my take Twitch and Fran joins that one. And then Smitty does the Rastel Twitch. So follow. both of those and you'll be able to watch us. And you can type in the chat and we talk to.
Starting point is 00:13:15 I feel like some people might not know even what Twitch is. So like you can obviously, you can write in the chat. We see them, we interact and get to talk with everyone. And it's a lot of fun. Yeah, it is a lot of fun. It's a great way to pass time. And the competition is just, is fantastic, Fran. I'm just so happy for us.
Starting point is 00:13:34 And to note, both nights, we were, coincidentally matching. It's true. It's true. Friday night, we were both in our two bad sweatshirts. Not planned. And then Saturday, I opened the Twitch stream, and Ria's wearing her Coors Light made to chill shirt. Shout at Coors Light. And I looked down and I was wearing the same t-shirt. It was unbelievable. Totally not planned. We are so fucking in sync and unstoppable. It's sickening. Absolutely sickening. All right, Fran. I think. think it's time to get into the topics. Um, you did want to talk about your dream. Oh. Well, you know what?
Starting point is 00:14:17 How could you forget? I thought about that and then I was like, nobody cares about your dreams because they're dreams. But this one's funny. It's quick. No, but I think people do care because I don't know what's going on right now. We talked about this on the past episode briefly, but I feel like everybody is having really vivid insane dreams during this time. Like, I wake up and I remember every single one of my dreams, which normally does not happen. And I'm having weird, weird dreams. And almost every night it has to do with a celebrity. And I'm just like, what is wrong with my brain? It's a variety of celebrities. Fran, me too. The dreams are out of control. Hank who is walking in right now, has also been having crazy dreams. And he's not happy about the one I'm about to tell. I think everybody
Starting point is 00:15:04 is having crazy dreams. Okay, there's two dreams. I want to get off my chest. quick. Well, there are actually three, but I cannot tell the third one. All right, number one, had a dream that somehow me, Harry Styles, Hank, and a few other people were all hanging out and Harry Styles' mom showed up and gave Hank a lot of cash to thank him for dealing with me being in the same room as Harry Styles. She was like, I know that my son is just fantastic. and your girlfriend loves him. So here's a ton of cash for dealing with this. That is so funny.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Which was fucking cool. And then last night I had a dream that I was at Nick and Priyanka's wedding. This probably has to do with Jack McBriars interview with us. Probably. And then on my way home from it, my ex-uncle got me into a little car accident in his car. And my neck started hurting really bad in my dream. But I went to sleep with my neck hurting really bad. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:14 So I feel like that's where those come together. My last one was like Survivor, but with people from The Bachelor, which honestly is a great idea for a television show. But it was ridiculous. But it was like survivor, but like lost. Like we all like got into a plane crash and we were stuck on an island. And it was us and like all the most. no names from The Bachelor and we all were stuck. That sounds fantastic.
Starting point is 00:16:47 And no, it was bad. It was bad. Like a good TV show. Oh, good TV show, yes. But like bad in the moment because, you know, running out of food and started, it got to like a scary point. But then I woke up. So it was okay.
Starting point is 00:17:02 But that sounds hilarious. I'm really having some ridiculous dreams. I don't know what's going on during this time. But. I get a. excited to go to sleep that night because I'm like, ooh, what am I going to dream about tonight? I think I'm going to start, I think I'm going to start writing them down because like I remember as soon as I wake up and then and then I kind of forget. So I feel like when I wake up,
Starting point is 00:17:24 I just got to write it down right away. We should, we should keep a diary of our dreams and go through them the next. A dream journal. The next podcast. Yes. We'll do a segment called our dream journal. Noah can put some really like, um, dreamy music. Yeah, I was trying to think of a different. I was trying to think of a different word so I wouldn't use dream again, but. And we can read them like we're telling a bedtime story. Uh-huh. Yeah, that sounds fun. All right. Let's, just for us. Yeah, just for us, but we'll do it anyway. Um, all right, let's get into today's topics. And that's what I'm talking about. There's not that many topics and that's why we might start reading our dreams to you people. Yeah, guys, this is the thing.
Starting point is 00:18:05 Like we said, it's been tough. It's been a month now, and everybody is kind of stuck in place just like we are. So not a lot of good drama. We need, like, there's, there, because people can't be spotted together. There's no like blah, blah, blah, blah was spotted making out with blah, blah, blah, because they can't be seen together. I might start making up some drama and giving it. Oh, just like go still, go full star okay magazine on.
Starting point is 00:18:35 everyone. Okay. Hell yeah. I don't know. Fram, we might, our clicks would be out of control if I started putting fake headlines out there. It's true. People trust us. Yeah, yeah. That could backfire.
Starting point is 00:18:51 For now, they trust you. I know. I'm a little backfire real quick. She's joking, but... I'm joking. I'm joking. I'm joking. Don't worry, guys. She's joking. We would never... Sometimes, I said we were going to get into the topics, but sometimes I say jokes. and I hate that I have to say after I'm joking. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:19:09 Yeah. Because in my head, I'm like, oh, that's very clearly a joke. But then people don't... I knew you were joking. Yeah, yeah. You knew, but sometimes I say things on the podcast. I feel like people don't understand that I'm joking. And then I have to be like, JK, L.O.L.,
Starting point is 00:19:22 like I'm typing on AIM. And I just, you know, I just wish I didn't have to do that. But that's okay. That's okay. All right, let's get into today's topics. We have Hannah Ann calling Peters a dick, cauliflower on Caitlin Brickettisd's podcast. I'm tired of people saying manhood.
Starting point is 00:19:37 We can curse on this podcast. I'm gonna fucking say. I did type out manhood. Sorry. It's just, it's something that we're worried about typing out Peter's dick, but. And everyone is saying manhood because you can't curse on certain platforms. We can't on Snapchat.
Starting point is 00:19:51 We can do it here. So Peter's dick. You do a nice alliteration and say like Pilot Pete's penis. Yeah, Pilot Pete's penis. Peter's package. Yeah, triple P sound to it. Yeah. Pilot Pete's penis. Yep. Okay. Rubber Grint, expecting first baby. Fran. This one's for me. This one is for me and all the Harry Potter fans out there. Just give me,
Starting point is 00:20:16 just give me like three minutes to talk about it and then we can move on. No, 100%. You get that free time. The cast of High School Musical did a little Zoom reunion. So we talk a little bit about that and also some Disney Channel dad drama. And we do a little challenge recap. because the challenge has been good, the first two episodes, and we want to talk about it. And of course, we have our feel-good segment. And we have Rob Mills on the podcast. Now, if you don't know who Rob Mills is, he is very important in Bachelor Nation. And behind the scenes of The Bachelor, Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, the whole franchise.
Starting point is 00:20:54 He works at ABC. He gave his title. He is the head of alternative. Yeah, he's got a very long title. Very long, but he knows what he's talking about. He is the head of basically reality programming at ABC. Yes. So he's the head of The Bachelor.
Starting point is 00:21:12 Yeah, the man in charge. Yes. Besides Mike and Chris Harrison, of course. They collab. So he's very important and we did a great interview with him. We were so excited to talk to him because we interact with him on Twitter and such. So that's really fun. You guys are listening to that as well.
Starting point is 00:21:27 A lot of good luggage guy Trent stories. Oh, yeah. Excellent stuff. So let's get into it. starting off with Hannah Ann. Hannah Ann went on Caitlin Bristow's Off The Vine podcast and talked a little bit about Peter's manhood. So what had happened was Caitlin asked her a series of three questions,
Starting point is 00:22:23 and she had to choose which questions she wanted to answer. One of them was, what girl would you shade on the street if you saw them besides Madison, another one was what was your last text from Barb and the other one was the question to describe Peter's manhood using a vegetable. We're now going to call it his dick moving forward because I'm tired of saying manhood.
Starting point is 00:22:47 But I'm not sure if Hannah-Anne completely understood what Caitlin was talking about when she said manhood. What do you think? I could definitely see that. Like maybe she just meant him as a person, you know? Like his being, he's a man and his his being as a man. Yes. Instead of like, please describe his penis as a vegetable,
Starting point is 00:23:11 maybe needed to be a little bit straightforward. Because her vegetable of choice doesn't necessarily pair up with what you would use to describe a penis. I would like. Right. So she chose cauliflower, which if we're thinking shape, you would never choose. cauliflower. That would be bad. Yeah, that would mean you definitely need to get checked out.
Starting point is 00:23:37 Go to the doctor immediately because you got a weird dick. Call 911. 911. Excuse me. My dick is extremely weird. And the just fans, listeners just told me. That's exactly what would happen. Yeah, cauliflower. Anyways, she said that it was bland.
Starting point is 00:23:56 And I just am not sure that she understood what manhood meant. because if somebody's going to describe a penis, they're going to go length, right? Right. Gerth. Gerth, length, whatever it may be, eggplant, cucumber, baby carrot, whichever you know, you would use that. Yes. I was laughing because we talked about this on the group chat and after we finished recording, we were like, what a weird vegetable?
Starting point is 00:24:23 Like, what would be a good vegetable you would want it to be described as? And Trent was like, I don't know, like carrot. and we were like, carrot, what's like the worst one? Why would you say carrot? Because immediately we both thought baby carrot, but Trent was talking about like bugs bunny, like pulling out of the ground carrot. I think, which is fair. Yeah, that's fair.
Starting point is 00:24:44 I think cucumber. Cucumber is solid size. You said cucumber. I said zucchini. They're basically the same thing. Banana. Banana is not bad. Yeah, that's not a vegetable.
Starting point is 00:24:58 Not a vegetable. I know banana is not a fucking vegetable. vegetable, please don't come out me like that. I was just naming things. Yes, we just started to get into food territory. Not to get perverted, but. But Kaylin said like asparagus. Asparagus means you got a little, you have a pencil dick. I have seen some long fucking zucchini. And I'm talking about zucchini, zucchini,
Starting point is 00:25:19 not dicks. Like, yeah. The zucchini that my parents have grown in my backyard has reached unspeakable lengths. Is that why you didn't even want to pick zucchini? It's too big. So when you say zucchini, Fred, I have this picture on my phone. I'm about to send it to you. I know exactly where it is. Your mouth is going to drop. So this is what I think of when I hear zucchini. And my God, would I be in the hospital? Zucchina. That is, yeah, I mean, it could be a hefty size. But I did laugh because it was an interesting, it was, it was a funny conversation because I feel like Han was definitely just trying to diss Peter
Starting point is 00:26:00 for like maybe being boring or what she thought was boring and called him, you know, calling him bland and she needs some stuff to spice it up because then on her Instagram story, like the next day, she was making buffalo cauliflower in her air fryer. And she was just like the finished product and, you know, she writes, not bland at all, like love that extra spice. Like she knew what she was doing and it was hilarious. She just needs to kick it up a notch. I'm still a little hesitant on if she 100% new.
Starting point is 00:26:38 Because maybe she's talking about spicing up his personality. Right. I don't know. I don't know. I mean, how do you, like, that insult doesn't really make sense. Unless she's talking about maybe sex life, like his, just their sex life. Like, maybe it was boring sex. But I just, I just can't think it.
Starting point is 00:26:57 I don't know. Mr. four times in the windmill. I don't know if it would necessarily be boring. But she's also a scorned X. So, you know, you want to hit them where it hurts. You're laughing at the zucchini. You 100% have to put this picture of my grandpa holding this zucchini in a podcast promo. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:27:22 That is not, that is not a zucchini. That's a snake. It is. That's a snake. animal. Look at my grandpa who's 80 years old, by the way, and looks damn good. Are you kidding me? He does, he looks fantastic in this picture.
Starting point is 00:27:42 Are you kidding me? That's just not a real, that's just not a real piece of, it looks like a king. It's a staff. It's a staff. Like he's the king of the zucchini's. You must put it in a promo now so people can see what we're, talking about. This zucchini is the longest vegetable. So imagine when you said zucchini what went through my mind. Ria, this zucchini is five feet long. Like this is four to five feet long. I know when I said
Starting point is 00:28:19 that my parents grew a zucchini to an unspeakable length. That is what I meant. That is a mind-blowing mind-blowing length. Unbelievable. So if your day is to describe. Are you watching a video right now? Like what's going on? Oh, I forgot I was not on mute. Oh, I'm like, no.
Starting point is 00:28:39 Are you kidding me? Are you tweeting something for chicks and stuff? Just try to do a show over here. Are you tweeting a picture of my no-no with the zucchini? I tweeted a video of Tom Hanks. Okay. All right. Well.
Starting point is 00:28:50 Zucchini will have to say that for the promo. My God, that is a large zucchini. So I feel like... This zucchini could win awards. Like, did your parents want to submit this to some kind of farm festival? I feel like they have that. And this could be like the world's biggest zucchini. I feel like it's hilarious.
Starting point is 00:29:11 I'm going to Google the world's longest zucchini. I feel like it's hilarious that I sent you a picture of my grandpa. And I'm like, hey, Fran, look at that picture of my non-no. And you're like, wow, that is the longest zucchini ever. Nobody could see the picture. So it just... Yeah. And on what we're talking about, pilot pizza dick.
Starting point is 00:29:32 Yep. His... Okay, so in 2014, Giovanni Scotsa Fabian, in his garden in Niagara Falls, Ontario, grew a zucchini measuring 8 feet 3.3 inches long. That is a large zucchini. That is a large zucchini. But hey. Mine's not far off.
Starting point is 00:29:57 No, that zucchini is so incredibly huge. Oh, John Scotsafava is like a super cute little Italian man too with his really long zucchini. I'm looking at the picture. He kind of looks like your non-o. I'm not going to lie. Okay, I don't know how we got here. Yeah, I don't know how we end up. We were talking about pilot pizza penis and now we're talking about my non-zukini.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Yeah. Which, hey, you guys are interested. Here we are. Single. Well, yeah, that's weird. No, well, maybe, yeah, if you have any single grandmas out there. Yeah, like, please be in his age range. I don't want, you know, 20-year-olds trying to hit up my grandpa.
Starting point is 00:30:42 Yes. But anyway, that, back to Pete's cauliflower. Unfortunate description. It really was. Very unfortunate. And I would say that. But very funny. very funny, but I probably, I feel like Kelly and Peter are probably pissed at this.
Starting point is 00:31:01 Yeah, I just feel like Peter has got to be tuning out everything else right now. Like, he's got, I feel like he's laser focused on Kelly and nothing else really matters to him at the moment. Right. And they're stuck together anyway, and I'm sure she knows what his penis looks like. And she knows it's like cauliflower. I mean, think about it. We went from Pilot Pete being. this sex god who had sex with Hannah Brown four times in the windmill. And now we're talking about
Starting point is 00:31:32 a guy who has cauliflower dick. Yep. Two totally different people. So who do we believe? I don't know. I think it's probably... It's got to be somewhere in between. Yeah, I feel like he's probably perfectly okay at sex. Perfectly average. And Hannah Ann is salty because she should be. And some people enjoy his dick. I'm sure if you were to see, now listen, we're getting to into private Pete's, private Pete. Private Pete's private. Like, I don't want to feel like I'm making. Pilots, yeah. But I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:32:08 We've passed that level already. Yeah, you're right. We can't backtrack now. We were talking about my fucking non-o zucchini. This is not our fault. You know, shout out Caitlin for coming up with these hilarious questions. I'm glad that Hanand chose this one. Quick update.
Starting point is 00:32:26 I got a quick clarification on whether or not that was zucchini in the photo. It's actually a Sicilian squash called caguzza. Okay? Gaguzzi, if one might say. My family was disappointed in me that I was saying it was zucchini. It's not zucchini. It's a Sicilian squash. And looking at pictures of it, it grows to very long lengths.
Starting point is 00:32:51 So maybe the ideal vegetable to be described as is the Italian cuckootsa squash. Yes, that's what you want. If somebody were to ask you to describe somebody's penis, caguzza, and you want to compliment them. Yeah, a real big one. We have some baby news that I'm very excited about that, you know, like I said in the intro, I just need a couple minutes to discuss. and for all those who love Harry Potter as much as I do, maybe you'll care, maybe you don't. Rupert Grant is going to be a father.
Starting point is 00:33:59 Friend, by the way, you're on the clock. I'm on the clock. Okay. You got three minutes. I'm timing you. Woo, okay. Rupert Grant, he's going to be a father. I am super excited.
Starting point is 00:34:08 He has been dating Georgia groom. She is a British actress. And fun fact, for all those who have seen the movie, Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Ria, have you seen it? Yes. Amazing movie Amazing movie Georgia
Starting point is 00:34:24 This is her This is his baby mama This is his girlfriend Angus? No Angus is the cat Have you even seen the movie Are you just
Starting point is 00:34:36 fucking with me? I'm not fucking with you But I still remember this movie When I was I have not seen it in Remember I don't even remember As the cocktail olive
Starting point is 00:34:49 On the Halloween Saw the movie saw the movie. I just remember the commercials every five seconds. Oh, the movie is one. I've seen the movie a billion times. It's actually one of my favorites. And Aaron Johnson is so cute in it and love Georgia. And now she has been with River Grant and now they're expecting a baby together and I'm super excited for them. And I feel like he's going to be such a great dad. And there's tons of like more Weasley jokes being made now. They're like, oh, another Weasley. because who knows, maybe this kid will have red hair, maybe it will not.
Starting point is 00:35:25 But I love these two as a couple just because every time I see them, it makes me think of Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging, and I absolutely love that movie. And that's really about it. And then I was looking at other Harry Potter people and their love lives because E also posted an article about it. And it just reminded me that a lot of them, are in relationships, which I'm very happy about.
Starting point is 00:35:53 But there was a brief moment where Emma Watson and Tom fell in, there were rumors that they were possibly dating. And that just reminded me of that. And I really wish that happened. And I would like it to happen. Hermione and Draco, if that helps you at all. No, I know who you're talking about. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:36:14 That was a perfect three minutes, friend. It was? Okay, that's really all I wanted to say. I think you actually have some seconds. left. Some seconds left. Okay. I really hope that there is some kind of Harry Potter reunion where Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson and Rupert Grink can all come together and they'll be together with Rupert Grint's new baby and maybe post some picks that would really make my dream. Like, I would just really love that. Okay, now I'm done. Okay, any more, you have a few more seconds.
Starting point is 00:36:43 No, that's it. I think I can sacrifice those remaining seconds. I'm very happy for him. Me too. Here and now, it's time for celebration. I finally figured out. Yeah, yeah. Have no limitations. That's what is so strong. Each other.
Starting point is 00:37:18 So during this time, the best way that I like to unwind, relax, is to sit back and enjoy an ice-cold Coors Light, whether it's watching a television show or reading whatever it is, Coors Light is the beer that I turn to when I know I want to chill. And that's because this is the only beer out there that is literally made to chill. The mountains on the bottles and cans even turn blue when your beer is cold. That way you always know when it's time to chill. So when you need to hit reset, just open a Coors Light. It's mountain cold refreshment made to chill. And like I said, guys, this is the perfect beer when you just need a second for yourself. You got a lot of stuff going on. You just want to hang out, relax. Maybe you are video chatting with your friends or you're just
Starting point is 00:38:13 kind of taking a moment for yourself. Have a Coors Light. They are the best. Coors Light is brewed with a three-step cold processed, cold-logger, cold-filtered, and cold package so it's actually made to chill. The mounds on Coors Light's cold-activated bottles and cans turn blue when chilled to perfection. Born in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in 1978, Coors Light is refreshing, crisp, and only 102 calories. So when you're looking for that beer for the perfect moment, when you just want to relax and chill out, look no further than Coors Light. That's why Coors Light is the one we choose and we need a moment of chill. So when you want to reset, reach for the beer that's made to chill. You can have Coorslight delivered by going to get period, coreslight.com and finding local delivery options near you.
Starting point is 00:39:01 So that's get dot coreslight.com. and guys, this is coming from the Coors Brewing Company, Golden, Colorado, and always remember to celebrate responsibly. Cheers, thank you guys. The world's most refreshing podcast. Yes. There seemed to be a high school musical reunion that went on Zoom, the cast all got together to maybe have a little Zoom chat.
Starting point is 00:39:26 Obviously, we didn't see full footage of it, but a bunch of the cast members posted a screenshot of the Zoom. I will tell you, it looks like we have the man of the high school musical movies, the guy who started him all, Kenny Ortega. I think he's top left. Another man that I don't know who it is. Vanessa Hutchins, Lucas Gabriel, Ashley Tisdale, Corbett Blue, and, oh, no, what is Taylor's real name? You know who I'm talking about? Why am I forgetting her real name?
Starting point is 00:40:07 I'm forgetting it too. And it's going to bother me that right when I read it, I would be like, oh, I knew that. I know. That's tough. Her name is Moni Coleman. Oh, Monique Coleman. Yeah, sorry.
Starting point is 00:40:19 Oh, man. Sorry, Monique. Okay. So they were all together. And there's one other person that I'm not sure. I don't think he's a cast member. He must be a behind-the-scenes guy. if you're looking at the picture, he's underneath Kenny Ortega, and I'm not sure who it is.
Starting point is 00:40:35 At first I thought that was Lucas Gabriel, but it's not Lucas Gabriel, I think, is next to Shetizdale. So it seemed like a pretty exclusive reunion, high profile, only, you know, the big names were included, except no Zach Efron. I mean, I just feel like Zach Efron, he's just out. Like he just doesn't do these things. And I feel like it's because maybe Vanessa is the one that does get included. So that means Zach's the one that doesn't get included. I agree with you on that. I feel like it would be odd for them to both be there.
Starting point is 00:41:12 I feel like, you know, listen, they dated for a while. They probably are not the best of friends. They probably don't even want to see each other. So understandable. And yeah, you're right. It just seems like Zach just, he doesn't do these things. But we still love him. Every time, I know, every time that they do some kind of high school musical-esque thing,
Starting point is 00:41:29 like this, Zach is nowhere to be found. And I get it. Like, he's easily the most famous of all of them. So it makes sense. Maybe he's not as close with a lot of them as the rest are, you know, still stay in contact. And like, Ashley and Vanessa, I feel like are, like, best friends. So, you know, once you get into the group dynamic, nobody's reaching out to Zach. Right. Ashley's not going to go, hey, I'm going to reach out to Zach instead of Vanessa. Right, exactly. Now, what I was dying laughing at is Bart Johnson, who played Troy's dad, Coach Boland. He, if you ever have seen his social media, this man lives and breeds high school musical. Like, he knows that high school musical was his bread and butter, like, peak of his life.
Starting point is 00:42:24 and he absolutely loves, loves high school musical. All of his posts are about high school musical. And he commented on Vanessa Hutchins' Instagram because she posted the picture and wrote, Guess Who's Back? And he wrote back, warms my heart every time I see a family reunion I didn't get invited to with the heart emoji,
Starting point is 00:42:44 I roll emoji, and a bunch of other emojis. Very sorry, Bart Johnson, not included. Tough. Tough look. I thought that was hilarious as well, friend. You said that to me. And you know what? Listen, I understand why he's upset. But it's not like he was with the cast, the entire movie, interacting with them, like the rest of the people on the Zoom.
Starting point is 00:43:11 You know what I mean? Troy's dad wasn't hanging out with the cast during the movie. So why would he hang out with them on a Zoom call? Yeah. You're very right. but I just, if you have never looked at Bart's Instagram, give it a look because first of all, his bio is, yes, I play Coach Bolton in the HSM movies with the eye roll emoji. And then it's like, check out my new YouTube channel.
Starting point is 00:43:37 And he does, he's now on TikTok, like he did TikTok versions of Ashley Tisdell's dance. Martha from High School is on TikTok and he was doing mirror dances with her. And then just another twist that really is a great part of all of this is that Bart Johnson is married to Robin Lively, who is Blake Lively's sister. So they're all one family. Like Bart Johnson is sister-in-law is Blake Lively and vice versa. Like Blake Lively's brother-in-law is Coach Bullitt. and they've had like family events together where Ryan Reynolds is involved like they're all one big happy family it's it's fantastic a twist yeah yep what a insane that is insane but this reminded me that
Starting point is 00:44:35 there's some crazy shit happening with Disney Channel dads Troy's dad is acting out because he's not on the Zoom call yeah and they also posted a very weird before and this will tie into what you're saying. But they're like at the beginning of March, Bart posted in Instagram and it was um, Bart and the parents from Wizards of Waverly Place and David Henry and Jennifer Stone and Robin lively. And he wrote, hanging with my new friends this weekend, hashtag teen witch meets hashtag Wizards of Waverly Place, meet hashtag coach Bolton, lots of musical magic in the air. Anyone want to guess what's going on here. Not quite sure what's going on here, but they're all together. And David DeLuiz had commented at Bart. So fun hanging out. You rock. Now, David's had a tough go, I would say,
Starting point is 00:45:33 the last couple of weeks, because he had a leak. Yeah. No. So David DeLois, he is having a little scandal. Alex Rousseau's dad. He had a nudes leak a while ago. A while. wasn't that recent. It was a while ago, but this girl wrote on Twitter. So I DM the dad from Wizards of Waverly Place asking if his leaked nudes were real. And I was just not expecting this to happen. So this girl DMs David DeLois, his needs, and says, is this real? Now, by the way, this girl was kind of crazy for doing that in the first place. Like, you're going to DM David DeLois to ask him if his nudes are real? That's a real. That's insane. I know. And I am still skeptical about this. I'm just like the whole thing is still very fishy. The whole thing's still
Starting point is 00:46:25 very fishy to me. Yes. But then David Deloese responds, hi, those were my private photos that were leaked. Yes. Why? She said, oh, I'm sorry. I didn't think it was real. And I thought, wait, friend, do you want to do this in a way where, like, I'm David Deloese and you're the girl? No. Oh, oh, oh. I was like, I don't want to be David de Louise. But then I realized you said you would be him, so sure. Do you want to be David? I'll be the girl. No, no, no, no. Okay.
Starting point is 00:46:58 So we're going to read them like a conversation. We're going to read them like a conversation. Okay. I'll be David. Okay. Okay, friend. Sure. All right.
Starting point is 00:47:11 This was my part. This is my scene. Okay. You wanted to be David. I'll be the girl. Okay. Listen, Fran clearly wants to be David. Just be David.
Starting point is 00:47:20 I'm the girl. I'm the girl. I'm done arguing. I'm the girl. Okay. So after that question, I'm the girl. Oh, I'm sorry. Start for the top. Start from the top. Oh, boy. Okay. Is this real? Hi. Those are my private photos that were leaked. Yes. Why? Oh, I'm sorry, sad face. I didn't think it was real and I thought it was mean for someone to make that up if that were the case. You look great though. Fuck the haters. You'll always be my favorite Disney channel dad no matter why.
Starting point is 00:47:47 want. Aw, you are very sweet. Heart, heart. Love you, big guy. You are so sweet. Love this photo, smiley face, sends photo of said girl. I'm very happy that I'm your favorite Disney Channel dad. I love how you said fuck the haters. I had a lot of people texting me after those photos came out. How old are you, Danny? Did you look up the photos? Or did someone show you? I hope that's okay to ask. Sorry. I'm 21. No, I did not look them up. Ha, ha, ha, ha. I wish I was 21 again. Ha, ha. Right. I did a commercial with Jerome Bettis. Is that I'm pronouncing? Yeah. Sorry, cool. I'm putting you on the spot now. You have to pick one. Have you ever sent photos of yourself to a friend? A sexy photo? Hope I'm not crossing the line. Did I lose you? Are you online looking at the photos trying to pick one out? Ha, did I lose you? I'm about to get up. Are you? Are you sure? still there. Sorry if I went too far. I'm going to start my day. Hopefully you have a wonderful day.
Starting point is 00:48:52 Talk soon. That's it. And that's all the, those are the screenshots that the girl's, that the girl tweeted. Now, I'm assuming that somewhere in between, um, him bringing up Jerome Bettis and, and the other conversation was like maybe he had taught, maybe he had asked like where she was from or something like that and she had said Pittsburgh. I'm not quite sure why Jerome Bettis, a famed Pittsburgh Steelers running back would have randomly come up in conversation. So I'm assuming maybe there's like a big missing chunk of this, you know, where they could have still been communicating before he went into the
Starting point is 00:49:43 sexy photo rant. but either way, if this is real, super uncomfortable. And also, like, I just don't know where your mind goes. Like, if you think, oh, I'm going to make fake messages between me and the Wizards of Waverly plays dad and then tweet them out, you know, like, I just, what makes you think that something happened? Either way, it's a terrible situation. But I saw her responding to people before she went private. People were asking, like, this can't be real. And she was like, no, I swear to God, it's real. So you never know. It would be very strange to just make up messages
Starting point is 00:50:26 with the Wizards of Waverly placed dad. Right. I think she got like, yeah, yeah. And I think it got a lot of attention that maybe she wasn't necessarily expecting. So then, you know, she deleted the tweet. She went on private. So when that happens, you kind of think, oh, maybe that wasn't real at all. Or maybe it was and it exploded and she didn't want it to explode like that. But very, very uncomfortable to read. I really hope that something else was going on there because if not, that's a tough look for Mr. Russo. Everybody, everybody, just get into it, get stumpy.
Starting point is 00:51:06 I'm all started. It's time to talk about the challenge. We are two episodes deep. This season is good. already. I'm so into it. We will be recapping this past episode that aired on Wednesday. Obviously, you know, I know a few days have passed, but listen, there's never a wrong time to talk about the challenge. So we're going to do it. And also, I know a lot of people don't watch. Sometimes you might not watch live. You watch on demand. You got to catch up. So hopefully
Starting point is 00:51:57 everybody's seen the second episode by now. It was great. And we kind of, got to see a little bit more of what this season is going to be like because now with the whole red skull situation everybody wants to be in the elimination round instead of not being in the elimination round and also they talked about how intense the challenges were going to be this season and they are not messing around like that first challenge was ridiculous they're So hard, but I love it. This is why I love the challenge. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:38 I could not believe that, like, that's what they were doing. Like, I just kept imagining myself in that situation where, you know, they're carrying these giant crates. Like, the first challenge was a, I forget what they called it. AirDrop extraction is what they called it. And they were carrying these giant crates. They had to carry 15 of them. They were in teams.
Starting point is 00:53:01 Get to the first round. The second round was going. up in a helicopter and taking those crates and dumping them out of the helicopter and they had to hit a certain landing point and then they explode and like it's a it's a color they had to hit like the you know the landing bullseye or whatever you want to call it and that just looked nearly impossible you're in a moving helicopter I know it's insane honestly but like I said this is why I love the challenge because just watching them do these impossible tests. that I could never do.
Starting point is 00:53:35 And they're so competitive and they're so good and that's why they're on the show. I love it. This has been a great filler for reality shows and sports because it has a little bit of both. You are right. The challenge aspect is also very entertaining
Starting point is 00:53:50 but there is the drama aspect of as well, a little bit of a love element. Rogan really just annoys me. Like Rogan didn't... It's tough because, I know Rogan did so well last season, but I feel like he really weasled his way into the end and like didn't have to prove himself at all, really.
Starting point is 00:54:12 And now he thinks he's like big man on campus. And he fucked over D last season. Not that I really love D, but he fucked over D and now he's got his eyes on New Girl Jen. And she's from The Amazing Race. I don't know anything about Jen, but like how did this girl do the amazing race. No offense to her. I have no idea because it doesn't seem like she's good in the challenge aspect.
Starting point is 00:54:42 She is beautiful and does seem like a nice person. But the challenges she's not great at, obviously she was the worst in this challenge by far. And everybody knew that. And Dee and Swaggy C and Corey, they won the challenge. So they were the tribunal this time. So, of course, people wanted to get on their good sides, but Jen, obviously, not on D's good side because she's flirting with Rogan. And it's kind of like Jen wasn't really getting along with most girls in the house. She was spending more times with the boys.
Starting point is 00:55:20 But then the boys were also fucking with her, which we saw a hilarious moment between Johnny Bananas and West. where they told Jen to make a speech to the rest of the house on why she shouldn't be put into elimination. And they just gave her the worst things to say. And she completely botched it. And they loved every second of it. And that's why they're two of the greats of this show, because they know entertainment. They know what's the people going. And they know how to get people to send themselves home, basically.
Starting point is 00:55:56 Yeah. And it just really made me think that Jen did not do it. a lot of research on this show before she went on. Like, she had no problem thinking, like, Wes and bananas were being just nice and helping her out and giving her advice when obviously that was not the case. Like, she should have been more suspicious of that whole situation, and she wasn't.
Starting point is 00:56:17 And then they're all sitting around. And they're like, all right, Jen, like, make your speech. Come on. And she goes, she starts off by saying, greetings, earthlings. Once you start a speech, with greetings, earthlings,
Starting point is 00:56:30 it's over. And everyone was like, oh, honey, greetings, greetings, earthlings, like,
Starting point is 00:56:37 it was just, it was just tough. And you could tell that she, I don't even think she knew, like, certain, certain challenge terms
Starting point is 00:56:45 and wording and everything, because she just, she didn't even really know what she was talking about. Like, she was just like, ah, you know,
Starting point is 00:56:52 don't put me into elimination because I don't, I don't want to go in. And it's crazy because she should want to go in because you're going to have to go in anyway now with the new rules. But it was hilarious. And honestly, we're friends with Johnny
Starting point is 00:57:09 and I still don't know if I would trust that Johnny was trying to help me out on the challenge. Oh. I still think that he would be trying to throw me off and trying to make me lose. So I don't know why this girl thought that Johnny and Wes had her back. But I'm a loving Johnny and West this season,
Starting point is 00:57:24 of course. Johnny's our favorite. favorite, but Wes, I don't mind either. I think it's, it's, you know, he annoys me, but it's entertaining to watch because he knows how to make good TV. Um, but then, of course, we need to figure out who the second person who's going to go in against Jen. Um, D had made a deal with Jenny and Jenny is one of the best in the house, if not the best girl in the house. I mean, she's, I mean, I don't even think she's like the best girl. Like, I think she's the best out of like, I think she could even destroy all the guys. Right. She is so good.
Starting point is 00:57:58 And she made a deal with Dee to put her in the elimination early, which kind of made no sense to me because you are like the other people were telling Dee, like you're just giving her an open spot to the final. When she's going to beat you, like this is a single person game, you're giving one of the best people, or the best, like we said, the spot to the final. Like Jenny can now go to a final, no problem. Yeah. And then Tori, of course, wanted to be put in the elimination.
Starting point is 00:58:27 early because Jordan had helped Dee last season and Jordan was saying, you know, he should do this for Tori and Jordan and Dee kind of like was rude about that. And I don't really like how she acted about that. Um, and I, like, it's very early for Jordan to like already be making me angry, but like I understand Jordan is such a passionate, like, competitor and is always so, so, so competitive. But the way he just reacts to certain challenges, like the way he reacted to that challenge ending and he's just like so, I don't, not necessarily rude.
Starting point is 00:59:11 He's a sore loser. He is a sore loser. And I feel like it was even worse because he totally realized that it was his fault that his team kind of shit the bed on dropping the things because he was the one like telling them when to drop it. so I can understand him being upset, but like, it's very early on, and already Jordan's like, Dee, you've made the list.
Starting point is 00:59:35 Like, she, there's only one person on their list. It's D. I would not want to be the one person on Tori and Jordan's list. No, this is where we didn't even get to the end. I'm totally on their side. Fuck D. Like, after watching, after watching how it played out, them saying that she's on the list makes 100%
Starting point is 00:59:57 Yeah. Like it just, I think it was less, it was definitely, the reason for her being on the list was definitely just because she didn't pick Tori and not just because, you know, she chickened out.
Starting point is 01:00:10 The reason she's on my list is because I think she's kind of a pussy in which she did because when they got to the elimination and they were talking about who's going to be put in, Yep. T.J., I almost said Chris Harrison, drop the bomb that you can put yourself in if you're in the tribunal to earn your red skull so that you can make it to the final. And Dee hates Jen because Jen was flirting with Rogan. And this was her time to step up and beat Jen.
Starting point is 01:00:41 And listen, even if she didn't beat Jen and she went home to Jen and she had to lose with that, people would respect her more if she lost to Jen rather than pussying out and saying, no, I'm going to put the best girl in the house against the worst girl in the house, giving her a free ride to the final with the easiest fucking elimination ever. All you got to do is swing those things over. I could do that. You could do that. That shit was easy.
Starting point is 01:01:06 When Jenny was doing it with one arm. It was like no problem. And like Jen, it just seemed like Jen knew she was going to lose anyway. She didn't even seem like she really tried. And the fact that afterwards, afterwards, when TJ was like, Jen, I mean, Dee, do you wish you can go in now? Dee was like, yeah, seeing that, I do. Like, you just fucked yourself so bad because you could have put yourself in, prove something,
Starting point is 01:01:31 not be all talk, like you usually, oh, I'm a savage, I'll beat you. Really, you're a savage? Because if you were a savage, you would have said, yeah, I'm going to step up. Fuel yourself, use that fire you have against Jen and beat her. Yeah. It was, I feel like Dee was really intimidated by Jen. because of Rogan's attention for Jen and it was just like a bad case of the ugly green monster
Starting point is 01:01:58 like jealous like it was just not a good look on D you know it just like made her look kind of petty and mean like for no reason when this girl didn't do anything to her yeah Jen doesn't owe any loyalty to D if she wants to be Rogan she can flirt with Rogan she doesn't she's not friends with D she was friends with D and then went for Rogan okay but like it's kind of fair game when you're not together anymore.
Starting point is 01:02:21 Yeah, I agree. So obviously, like we said, Jen got absolutely spanked in the elimination. So that was it. That was the end for her. Already gone. I can't wait to see what happens with the next week. So we're about to get into our feel-good segment, and usually this segment consists of us talking about many medical professionals,
Starting point is 01:03:07 people helping them, thanking them for doing their job for us and for helping everybody through this. terrible, terrible virus. And the question is, are medical professionals practically superhuman superheroes? The answer is yes, absolutely 100%. They are superheroes. So shouldn't they have a uniform that supports them in every way possible? Also, yes. We've talked about this before. Figgs scrubs are the best scrubs for medical professionals right now. And we have a code for you guys to use to get a deal on those scrubs. Like I've said, my sister, she uses them.
Starting point is 01:03:47 She says that they are the most comfortable around everybody at work that she works with, also uses them. They are packed with tons of features and functionality. They created their own fabric that's anti-microbial, anti-wrinkle, moisture wicking, full of stretch, and ridiculously soft. There's also a ton of pockets, which is necessary for all those tools that you're probably holding, and they also come in a ton of different colors and styles from classic v-neck tops and straight-leg pants to more fashion-forward, collared shirts, and jogger pants. They don't just stop
Starting point is 01:04:21 at scrubs. They also have lab coats, jackets, tote bags, compression socks, and more. Really, everything modern medical professionals need to take on long days and nights. So if there's a doctor listening, a medical professional right now who's listening or any person in your life that you want to gift these to, you can go ahead and do that. right now because listeners of chicks in the office are getting 15% off for a limited time to go to wear figs.com. That's W-E-A-R-F-I-G-S dot com and enter code Chicks 15 at checkout. You'll get 15% off of Figs. Once again, the code is Chicks 15 at checkout. For our feel-good segment of the week, I have a couple stories to share with you.
Starting point is 01:05:06 two of them are just they're kind of viral photos that obviously went viral I'm this this week that um I thought were really sweet and it's just so crazy like to see what so many people are going through which is why I said I um feel so blessed to be you know safe where I am right now and for you know the same thing for you guys and and my loved ones because you see these pictures you know this poor woman, Kelly Conner, she was undergoing chemotherapy right now. And obviously because of the safety precautions, her husband, Albert, was not able to be in the room with her. So they're in Texas and her husband stood outside of her room that she was in outside across the street on a sidewalk with a giant poster that said, I can't be with you, but I'm here. And it was just, it was just
Starting point is 01:06:04 So cute. They have three children. He had told Good Morning America, I didn't feel right not being a part of it because I promised her that I would be there every step of the way and I felt like I would be breaking my word. I just got a poster board and our kids and I colored it, which was just so, so sweet. And you don't realize because obviously everything is pretty coronavirus focused right now. But there are so many people who are going through just their normal health care, their health. They're healthcare problems or if people are sick already or there's other things going on. Even people that are just like, you know, having babies right now, like or and they can't have their partner in there with them or they can or they, you know, your family can't meet your newborn baby. Like there's just so many crazy, um, crazy things. And I just thought that was, it was a very sweet, um, photo, I will say. Uh, friend, not to repeat everything you said because I feel like you, uh, perfectly. But I agree with you like, like, obviously there are so many people dealing with this virus and you may know many people with it.
Starting point is 01:07:09 I know a few people now that have it and it's really sad. But they're like you said, you have to remember that there are so many other problems that also go on in the world at the same time. So just to see something nice like this just adds a little positivity. Yeah, definitely. And there is also the photo that went viral of the respiratory therapist in San Diego who put a picture of himself smiling on his jacket, Robertino's name. He put a picture of him smiling on his suit because he's so covered up. And he said that he, you know, he wants to ease the
Starting point is 01:07:45 patience and not just be like, you know, you can only see their eyes because everything else is covered, which I also thought was really sweet. That makes me too much. It's comforting. I know. It really does. That's so fucking sweet. Like to be able to be nice to think of something like that and so caring is just incredible. I agree. And then there's one of the thing, I would say that's, I love that Sandra Bullock donated 6,095
Starting point is 01:08:10 masks to LA hospitals, which is fantastic. I know the hospitals have been in desperate need. And the last thing I want to say, and I think, Ria, you've seen some of this too. But Michelle Money, who is a ex-batchelor
Starting point is 01:08:26 contestant, she was on Paradise, she was on The Bachelor, she has a 15-year-old daughter who got into a really terrible skateboarding accident and was really, really struggling. And they didn't know what was going to happen. I think she was put into a, like, medically induced coma. And she has been documenting her journey on Instagram for like the last couple weeks. And it's just been heartbreaking.
Starting point is 01:08:57 And so many people have come together to pray for her. And there has been good news in the last couple of days that her daughter, Briel, is doing well. She's still on all this medication and she's sedated and everything. But she started moving. She moved her hand. And then Michelle, a couple days ago, just posted on her Instagram that she's so grateful for all the prayers.
Starting point is 01:09:23 She's going to take a little break from social media so that she can pay attention to her daughter. But she did say, she is going to be just fine. going to get through this. I just feel strongly that I need to honor Breel and her privacy right now. So it just seems like Breel is coming out on the other side, which is fantastic. Because that's so scary. And also during this time, like, she had to manage getting into the hospital and only one person being able to be with Breel if she could even be in the same room as her is crazy. So sad, and especially she's so young, but to know that there, you know, is a light at the end of the
Starting point is 01:09:59 tunnel is good to now. Exactly. Exactly. So I'm very happy for for her and her family and I'm sure they could still use all everyone's, everyone's thoughts and prayers and to think about Breel. But it seems like a good outcome. Come fly with me. Let's fly. Let's fly away. If you can use some exotic booze, there's a bar in Far Bombay. Come fly with me. Let's fly. Let's fly. We are here. Come fly with me. Let's float down to let's fly, let's fly, let's fly away. We are here with a very, very special guest, Rob Mills,
Starting point is 01:10:54 aka Robert Mills from ABC. You might know him from Twitter, Bachelor Nation, knows who we are talking about. Welcome to the show, Rob. What's happening, guys? Thanks for having me. We are super excited to have you. We have tons to talk about.
Starting point is 01:11:10 If you do follow us on Twitter, you've definitely seen us interact with Rob before, you know, ABC executive. You're making a lot of big decisions. And one of those has been a new bachelor show that is premiering that when this episode comes out, it'll be Monday and it'll be premiering tonight. Listen to your heart,
Starting point is 01:11:32 which honestly, I think we're all so excited about because we're so desperate for we need some kind of Bachelor programming to be back. Here's the big question. Were you excited about this before the pandemic? I actually were. We did commit to watch. Yeah. We committed to watching this. Yeah. We were like, we're going to do recaps. But I think now it's like we really need something to live tweet because we missed back to our nation. I don't think this will disappoint, but seriously, thank you guys, because I've heard from so many people like, oh, now I guess I'm going to recap this thing now. So thank you for being there from the beginning.
Starting point is 01:12:11 No, we have. Yes, because we, and we love obviously recapping the show, so when the show's not on, it feels like there's a void. So when we saw that this was coming on, we're like, perfect, this will be the perfect thing to talk about before the Bachelorette.
Starting point is 01:12:27 But basically, I want to find out from you, kind of how this show came to be, because it's so different from anything that you guys have done Bachelor-wise before. It was you know, it's the, it's the weirdest thing, and hopefully I can explain this correctly. It sort of came out when the masked singer came out.
Starting point is 01:12:46 And Mike Fleiss, as the creator of the show, was like, we're going to figure out something, like a masked bachelor type show. And so we went through all these weird iterations of a bachelor masquerade show, people all in masks in the mansion. It was, this is the weirdest way to get to this show. And then it was, okay, let's do sort of musical Bachelor. And then it was like, is it going to be a stage show? We talked about that for a while. And then we still didn't know what it was. It was just, okay, musicians and Bachelor. And then last summer we sort of beat it out. And it was like, okay, let's keep it as close to Bachelor as possible. Let's not do stage show. Let's not have masks. None of that. Let's make it Bachelor. But they're singer-songers. And then
Starting point is 01:13:36 Jed was, this was right around the time of Ashley's finale, Hannah's finale, excuse me. So this was, and so the whole Jed stuff was going on, and it was either this is a really good idea or a bad idea, because none of these people have ever been, we've never had a really sincere singer-songwriter ever on the show. Right. So, but it was the, okay, there's something to the romance of a star is born.
Starting point is 01:14:02 Is there, so we sort of, it's a weird, format. Like, it's sort of musical paradise in the beginning, and then it's like a competition after that. So we spent a lot of time figuring out, but that's sort of how it all came to be. But hopefully, hopefully it works. Right. And I feel like it's a little different than contestants going on The Bachelor, Bachelorette, who are a singer-songwriter, aka Jed, rather than knowing you are going on a show based about music. Like, you don't feel like they're necessarily, like, hiding something. Like, oh, I want to get back. person wants to get fame because obviously they do they're a singer-songwriter this is the show
Starting point is 01:14:41 jed should have been on yeah it should have he's kicking himself he was literally three months too late yeah it's so it's so funny nobody has an agenda nobody's gonna get you really don't hear there's no original music they've all got popular songs they're singing um there there's the music sort of doesn't kick in until the third week too so it is more romance focused and yet nobody's hiding anything It's all out in the open. And now is there like a winner? Like is there a prize? There is a winner.
Starting point is 01:15:12 This is when I'm so glad everybody's kind of forced to watch the show because I have the hardest time explaining it. But I'm just like, just watch it and you'll understand. Like as I watch the cuts, I'm like, okay, it's musical paradise. And then it's sort of not necessarily idle with couples, but it's sort of like that. It does turn into a competition. Yes, there is a prize. There is a winning couple.
Starting point is 01:15:34 So, yeah, but the That's what I like, competition. The competition element is great. It is. It's really good. We used to have a show. Did you guys, I don't know if you watched, you know, at least, Ria, I think you joined kind of later.
Starting point is 01:15:50 I don't know how I did you go to a friend. But does anyone, did anyone watch Bachelor Pad? I loved Bachelor Pad. I did not see it. Oh, God, we got to get it online or say it was, it was probably some of our best work, but that competition element was so great, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:06 Would you say the drama in this show lives up to the drama in the other shows? Yes, although it's different. A lot of these people were not people who necessarily, they didn't know when they applied that it was a Bachelor show. They just knew it was a singing competition show.
Starting point is 01:16:24 So it does feel more, I'd say there's a lot of drama and a lot of competition, but it feels nicer, if that makes sense. Not as catty. It's not as catty. not as, you know, trying to be an influencer or anything like that. So I think it feels more real in a lot of ways.
Starting point is 01:16:41 But the stakes are real, but they all really liked each other. I think you're right. It's not as catty. I think you also see that in Paradise, too, though. When you have people, they're not competing for one person, that also lends itself to more sort of bonding and friendship. And most of the guys and girls all, and they still do, really. They got along.
Starting point is 01:17:01 They really root for each other. But, yeah, there is a competition element, too. Yeah, I mean, we're very excited to watch. We'll definitely be tuning in because as of right now, everything else has been put on hold. Yes. Has there been any discussions? I know Chris Harrison has been talking today. I've seen some stuff of, you know, they'll be back when it's safe to be back. But I'm just curious if you got, I'm sure you guys have had a billion discussions about it, but any, any game plan? Yeah, we talk about it every day. Obviously, it's super. important. Look, I will be honest, we will do it as soon as it's safe, but that does it mean we want to get it on the first minute we possibly can.
Starting point is 01:17:47 So there's a lot of different discussions. There's, do we once, and hopefully pretty soon it's going to get to where you can start testing people easier and quicker. So we can get everybody tested. Is it, do we just have them all in one location? Right. Do we, are, is it going to be safe to travel? Is it just traveling on the road?
Starting point is 01:18:05 when are we going to be able to fly? And a lot of that just obviously changes daily, but we will figure out how to get some version that reflects the world we're in as quickly as possible. Is it possible that, because obviously the Bachelorette would be around May, right, usually, and then we would have Bachelor in Paradise later on in the summer. Is it possible now that we might be getting the Bachelorette kind of in the summer
Starting point is 01:18:34 and then a Bachelor in Paradise that's more geared towards winter, even though they're in Paradise. May, I think it, like I said, we're looking at all of that, or is it, do we do we do Paradise quickly? Is that easier to get up on its feet? I think it's, you know, we definitely want to get Bachelorette in the can because we've announced Claire, everyone's excited for it, there's all these plans for it,
Starting point is 01:18:57 but that might take longer to logistically figure out. Maybe it's easier to do Paradise. Yeah. So I think we'll look at all that. We also want to keep Bachelor on track. I mean, that's also a huge priority to make sure that the first Monday and January bachelor's back. So we've got to figure that out as well.
Starting point is 01:19:15 So all those things are in place. They're all kind of moving. It's hard because it's just one crew. So it's like you've got to keep going. Already it's a year-round thing when they're all spaced out like this. So it'll be tough, but we will definitely figure it out. Because obviously we all need this badly. Yeah. If Paradise does end up and being like a Bachelor of Winter Games type deal, I would not be opposed. I'm just saying I love Winter Games.
Starting point is 01:19:43 I've always, no, I love Winter Games. I've always wanted to do Paradise and like a ski lodge or something like that. So we will definitely consider that. That's good to know you would not be opposed to that, Fran. No, I would absolutely be, I would absolutely be down for that. Obviously, so, you know, Claire has kind of been put into this. limbo and we did see a bunch of the guys that are cast already or you know about to be cast and a lot of them were pretty young and we kind of thought like maybe this would be a good time to get some older guys in there has because there's been rumors that maybe like casting wasn't totally over no it's definitely not over i mean that's the one thing with the delay is we could get if we could have gotten more guys for Claire. I mean, she's not, by the way, she's, I don't think she's ever dated anyone older than her,
Starting point is 01:20:36 by the way. She's only dated younger. So this wasn't a horrible cast for her by any means, but one of the problems was we met with Claire, made the decision announced her within the space of like four days. Yeah. And then we had two weeks until we were going to start filming. So some of it was, there's just so much time you can get. There's a whole rigorous thing with background and medical testing and everything.
Starting point is 01:20:58 So that is one of the things about the delay that's really good about this that we can do is that we can get more guys, hopefully, that'll come out. And there's been a lot of guys applying. So that's been the one positive of this all. Great. Since you said it was a quick between finding out Claire was going to be The Bachelorette and then announcing it, which we're really excited about, by the way, I hadn't seen any seasons of Claire. I saw. You didn't know who she was. No, which makes me really excited because I feel like I don't have anything to judge her on where, you know, Peter, we had Hannah's season and Hannah with Colton. Yeah. It's like she's a total fresh person. Yeah, she's so fresh. It's amazing. I'm just satisfied everybody because everyone keeps saying, I miss the days when it was a fresh person, but it's harder because you don't know them. They don't know the show as well. We know she's going to be great. So it is. It's like the best of both worlds. Exactly. Who were like some one-rout bachelorette? Uh, there was a lot.
Starting point is 01:21:58 We met with a lot of girls from Petersies, and we met with some girls far back. I mean, we had taught to Tia, we had taught to, I'm trying to think, cool. We talked to some of Colton's girls. We talked to really everybody. I mean, Claire was literally the last person we met with.
Starting point is 01:22:18 Did you guys talk to Hannah Ann? We did not talk to Hannah Ann. I think it was, that sort of happened, her and Peter broke up. It was really laid. I don't know that she was ready to jump into anything. So I think it was sort of, I mean, we, you know,
Starting point is 01:22:39 we might have had we not, had Claire not gone so well, maybe because it would have been close. But I feel like if we ever make Hannah in The Bachelor, you want to really do right by her because she, she got the short end of the stick this season. Definitely. I think, and that's what we had said talking about it. Like, yeah, it was just,
Starting point is 01:22:58 a little maybe too soon and that digging into past seasons would have been better. So we're super excited about Claire. And obviously there's been Peter's season has ended, but I feel like not really because we're still seeing him
Starting point is 01:23:14 all over the place. And Kelly has kind of said that she didn't really think she was made for the show and that that's why things didn't work out. Do you think Peter and Kelly make a good fit? I guess.
Starting point is 01:23:33 I don't know. I mean, I feel like Peter is so all over the place. I don't know what's the right fit for him. Like he's been young, old, I mean, relatively. But I feel like Hannah Ann and Kelly is like, that's two way different ends of the spectrum. And I'm not sure what he's looking for. I think for Peter,
Starting point is 01:23:56 he should take some time and do some self-reflection and then figure it out, maybe then he'd be good for Kelly. I don't know. I mean, I've heard, I mean, I've heard, I know you guys don't bite is that they are not, their friends, they're not dating. Yeah, we don't buy it.
Starting point is 01:24:10 That's not true. I know you don't buy it. That's just enough. Everybody says, well, they could be long. I don't know. Yeah. I mean, they, I don't even want to get into this because it's so clear.
Starting point is 01:24:23 Like, they're sending out cameos where Kelly is wrapping her arms around Peter. Of course there's something going on, which they alluded to. Like they didn't say dating officially, but... No, I think maybe something is going... I think you're right. That's probably what it is.
Starting point is 01:24:39 But Kelly, though, it felt like she was above all of this stuff. I think that was a hard part for her on the show, too, is that there was... I think she felt she was kind of very different. She was a professional woman. She's an attorney. Some of them are very younger. She seemed like not about the influencer stuff
Starting point is 01:24:58 or the Instagram stuff, But now, yeah, it's like she's doing cameos, Barb's doing cameos. Barb's doing cameos. It's crazy. Did you guys know that Barb was going to be in this big, I don't know if I would call it a hit, but a big thing in the finale. I guess it was a hit in both ways. Like people either really hated each other, hated her or loved her.
Starting point is 01:25:19 I think it was great for entertainment purposes, even though I was like, get Barb out of here, but also keep her because it's great for TV. Did you guys expect that? Yes, absolutely. She is great. She's been great TV for a year ago. This is a woman who gave a standing ovation to her son's sexual prowess after the final rose last year. So you knew like, okay, she's great TV. But it was really about what is the, I mean, I was, I remember hearing he broke it off with Hannah Ann. Madison didn't even want to like discuss any of this until she knew he was single. So that's why Harrison went out and said she's single. And then he went and, you know, Peter saw her and was like, okay, they're going to get back together. And I remember asking, like, oh, so, you know, what is, is this family happy? And it's like, no, Barb's not happy about this at all. And then it's like, okay, well, we got to make sure that issue.
Starting point is 01:26:16 What we couldn't do is have an AMFR where Chris sort of asked the two of them, how is everything? Like, oh, well, it's tough. And there's, you don't understand what, what is the problem here? because the problem was, or at least one of them was Barb. So it was really about playing up that issue. But you also knew this is going to be fantastic, you know, really an exciting two hours. It really was. And on top of that, we have to talk to you about our guy, Trent,
Starting point is 01:26:45 because Trent has been such a light for that past season, and we enjoyed it so much. I think a lot of people would love to hear from, your end what your experiences was like getting in contact with him and and putting him on the show. Well, I mean, you guys know and you've realized because I think Trent is, I love his take on the show. I think it's great. You know, I'm a huge fan of his Clay impression. Yes. So that was so, so I was a huge fan and he starts saying this thing like, God, I'd really love to be the luggage guy. And, you know, I've seen so many different requests for the show, whether it's going out to the show. meeting Chris Harrison.
Starting point is 01:27:28 The one thing I've sort of never, never seen as somebody said, I want to be the luggage guy. And then he reached out directly and said, I'd really love to be the luggage guy. And I'm like, this could be really fun. It's great. So then I went and I remember so clearly, I told you to the producers,
Starting point is 01:27:46 we were having a meeting about the season. And then it was a complete episode. I was like, oh my God, I forgot to bring this up. This guy, Trent, really wants to be the luggage guy. It would be great. And I remember so clearly, they go, all right sure tell him to get himself to Lima Peru and so I tell him to leave him for and I'm assuming
Starting point is 01:28:01 this is the end of it I feel horrible because I'm like I've set it up you're in but you've got to get to leave a Peru and then he goes all right done and then the best thing was so I don't really travel at most I go to the end for the finale but usually in the middle I'm not there so remember then hearing the producers go you're not going to believe it this guy had to get a passport for this
Starting point is 01:28:24 he's never been out of the country which I found stunning. Yeah. But what I thought was so great, the part I didn't realize was how hearing him talk about it and hearing everybody to set, there was no like schick about it.
Starting point is 01:28:39 It was all, he literally took it seriously like it was his job. And that's because what's so funny is that now after this happened, then more people come out of the woodwork asking to be the luggage guy. And it's like, no, nobody will ever be the luggage guy, but Trent,
Starting point is 01:28:52 because he takes it seriously. You know, the other guys are going to start They're going to look to the camera and wink and then take the camera, do it with some flourish. He takes it, he picks it up, and that's it. He was so excited. I remember when he first got the DM back from you, when you were like, you need to get to Peru.
Starting point is 01:29:11 And he was like, well, what do I do? I was like, well, go ask Dave if you can go to Peru. And he was like, okay, I guess I got to go do that. And then boom, boom, boom, he did it. He was like so nervous, so excited. And we talked about it. Obviously, he didn't tell anybody. That was also a man.
Starting point is 01:29:27 Yeah. He kept it such a secret. Nobody at the office news besides us. His parents didn't know he used to be on TV. He flew to Peru. And he was like, I'm just going to play it straightforward. Like, I am the luggage guy. This is my dream.
Starting point is 01:29:41 Well, he's invested in the show. He really cares. I mean, now our biggest thing that we've been talking about is like, is he getting too high profile? Like, do we have to? He's definitely going to be the luggage guy every season, but you don't want the women all. screaming like, oh my God, you know,
Starting point is 01:29:56 it didn't want to get friends. So that's the part we get to figure out. If they do, if they do, that's something you guys can cut in editing. You can be like, girls, we know you guys are good at editing. Yeah, like, if they all freak out, like, that's fine. But I love that you're saying that. You want Trent to repeat because he didn't know if you would be invited back.
Starting point is 01:30:15 He takes it seriously. He was so good. Obviously, everyone loved him at Women's Tall. That was fantastic. He's great. We love to hear that. That's amazing news. Trent, he gave me one of his luggage shares. Yes, unfortunately, it was, it was too small. But other than that, it's great.
Starting point is 01:30:32 Oh, we'll get you. Oh, no, it's fine. I'm making, have you ever seen those quilts you make of your old t-shirts? I was just doing that and sending it out. And I was able to put this one in, so it's great. Oh, wow. That's fantastic. I'm so excited.
