What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne, giving you that Friday energy on a Monday. Happy Halloween. We've done that.

We've done that spooky. Like for like our last five intros, I feel like, spooky. Spooky. But it actually is Halloween. It is. So happy Halloween, everybody. Happy Halloween. Hopefully everyone had a fun and safe weekend. Fran, what did you get up to? Actually, you had another wedding.

We were both at weddings. We were both at weddings. Did that close out your weddings for this year? For this year, yes. For the rest of 2022, yes. So I didn't really get, I didn't dress up for Halloween. Sunday, I was just an absolute, Slop kebab could not, was just like, I'm not doing anything.

I guess I'm dressed as obnoxious Philly sports fan today, which is just my everyday persona. But I'm just going to roll with that for this lovely Monday Halloween. And yeah, I feel like I've just been consuming Halloween content and not participating in any Halloween content. The wedding I went, we can talk about these weddings. The wedding I went to was drop dead gorgeous. It was in Brooklyn. It was, I felt like I was in a European, like, museum or church or something. It had this dome that was, like, the ceilings were just, it was just so beautiful.

I don't even know how to describe it. It was absolutely stunning. It was a great, great wedding. And there's something very nice about going to a wedding and then getting to sleep in your own bed. That was top notch. Yeah, I was jealous of that aspect. but I saw a picture, I think it was your bureau actually, where I got a glimpse of what it looked like inside there

and it looked absolutely beautiful. I have some videos also in the table. When you said wedding in Brooklyn, I had a feeling it was just going to be beautiful. Yeah, yeah, it really was. And a good seamless cocktail hour into dinner and to after party, which they did a wig after party, which was objectively very funny.

We went downstairs into a separate room when there was just tables of wigs laid out for everybody to pick, which was a lot of fun, though. It was. That's so much fun. And also because it was Halloween weekend, so you got to, like, participate a little bit. And it's a purple one, which I loved.

It looked so good. And it looked like a lot of fun. It was a lot of fun. I went to Nashville, which I, we had been one time for our show last year, which was really cool. We had a lot of fun when we did that show. And so I was excited to go back. We stayed at the same hotel that we stayed.

Oh, you did. I'm a person to love. I'm a creature of habit. I am a creature of habit. I love being comfortable. I said, boom, I like that hotel. Let's stay there again. If I know I like something,

let's just do it again. So we stayed at that hotel, which was great. And so people were making me laugh because when I said I had a wedding in Nashville this weekend, and then I posted, like, I was at the wedding. Everyone was DM me, and they were like, you said you had a wedding in Nashville. You didn't say it was hard.

wedding. Yeah, yeah. That was very, that was very, um, coy. That was just like, oh, I'll wait. Oh, by the way, guys, it was Hardy's wedding. No big deal. Just a little gathering in Nashville, 350 people, intimate gathering. No, I know, but it was, I didn't want to be like, I'm going to Hardy's, you know what I mean? Yeah. So he's a country singer, songwriter, and he became good friends with Marty over the years, and they've stayed in touch a top plot. Marty always sees it when he's in town. And so what's funny is the last time we were with him. He mentioned his wedding. He's like, you guys are coming, right? Like, well, yeah, we'll be there. And time went on and we kept checking the mail and we were like, yeah, get the invite. Like, no invite. And so I said to Marty, I was like to him like, you and the thing is he

already called him up on the phone, asked him for his address, like the whole thing. Yeah. And so when it got closer to the time, I was like, Dan, you really got the cut. Like he decided they're not worth it. They're not getting the invite anymore. He's like, you really think so? Like he really mentioned it to me a lot of times.

Like I don't think that he would just, but maybe he did. I was like, maybe they had some last minute cuts and you were one of them. And so I was really making, honestly, I was making Marty feel like he wasn't that good of friends. Like I was like,

I don't know. I don't know if you're really as good of friends as you say you are. Yeah. Rewind to two weeks ago. Hardy texts him and he's like, yo, are you coming? Are you and Ria coming? You didn't RSVP.

And Marty was like, can I be honest with you? I kept checking by mail and we did not get this invite. And then Hardy felt so bad. He said it happened to so many other people. Actually, at the wedding, the bride's father, we were talking to him and he was like, yeah, I didn't get my invitation until nine days ago. And he was like, I had so many people reaching.

out to me being like, what are you doing this weekend? And he was like, it's the wedding, you idiot. And they were like, yeah, we didn't get the invitation. So apparently it was happening all over. But then he was so, so sweet. He was like, I really, really hope you guys could make it, whatever. So we ended up making the trip, which was really fun. And we had such a great time. But it was funny because we never got the the hard time invitation. So I was like, I was like, this isn't a black tie wedding, right? Like there's there's no way this is a black tie wedding. Yeah. And Marty was like, no, there's no way.

I asked him multiple times. Is there anything else I need to know? Like whatever, we show up. That's like such a- Every guy. Every guy's in a time. Yeah, that's like such a guy. That's such a guy response to it's like, hey, anything else you need to know?

He's probably like, no, man, just, you know, love, just show up. You know, that's all you got to do. Just want to have you there. Yeah. But yeah, every guy was in the black tucks. Not every guy because there were some guys that did not get them out while they're wearing blue suits, gray suits, you know, jeans, cowboy hats. But for the most part, people were wearing black tuxes. And I was like, fuck.

For the women, it was, you know, gown, short dresses all over the place. Like, I feel like for a woman, it's a lot easier to do black tie, whereas the men is like pretty straight forward. Like, that's a black tux. Yeah. We were like, fuck. And of course, we didn't really know that many people. So I was like, of course, we're the people that don't know a lot of people. And also, I'm walking around with the guy in a gray suit.

But I think, you know what, it could have been a lot worse. Like you guys could have been, Marty could have been like legit the only one. But if they're, if you got fucking cowboys walking around, you're good. And other people were like, what, you look great. Like, I think they also misunderstood what black time meant. So it was really fun. It was really cool. They had a really cool setup on like this farm in Nashville.

And, you know, I've never been to... I saw the people magazine spread. It was, it was beautiful. It was beautiful. She looked so, so gorgeous. I loved her dress so much. They are such a sweet couple. They are just so, so nice.

So we were, we were happy to be there. I saw that her dress... I saw that her dress was made by Anita, who does our makeup from time to time, who's absolutely amazing. it was a small world so then Anita Anita is the best she she set me up with a woman to do my makeup back who was awesome like Anita is just she's she's special she is she's like she's the best she's like another mom she just takes care of people you know she really is the sweetest but yeah I've never been to like I feel like I've only been to really like Italian weddings yeah I guess

I don't really know how else to describe it yeah but I loved you know, the different kind of food there that I would never eat at the usual wedding that I'd go to, like shrimp and grits, biscuits. Oh, yeah. There was like brisket and mashed potatoes. I was like, this is amazing. This is awesome. There was a tattoo artist there, which was very tempting.

But you had to sign up, like, when you got there and the list was very long. I'm impatient, so that didn't happen. But I was very tempted. You sent me this picture of all the possibilities of things you could get. And I would say very good variety. Like I kind of thought when I was thinking tattoo artist at wedding, I was thinking, oh, like maybe, you know, five to ten things because you can't like, you don't want to get too crazy.

But that was, I feel like there was like 20 plus different options of things you could get. Yeah, there were a lot of options and they also fit the vibe of what I already have. Right, right. Just little taxis. Like fruit. Yeah. Well, I was looking. It was like some of them you already have.

It was like the chair. I was like, up, cherries. She already has that one. Butterfly. Butterfly already had that one. I probably would have done just a little heart in my finger if I did get one, just to say I got it. Like I had a wedding. But you know what I mean?

Just very simple. Yep. But that didn't happen. But it was awesome and it was so nice to be there. And then the wedding ended and we went back to our hotel and we were staying just two blocks away from Broadway, which by the way, I met some lovely people this weekend who were so sweet. and we were staying just two blocks away from Broadway so we went out of Broadway which was very frightening during Halloween weekend I'll say oh man I didn't think about that you you know when just like a really bad feeling comes over you yeah and you're and you're somewhere and you're

like I need to get out of this place yeah we walked down to Broadway and seeing everybody dressed up in scary costumes, very crowded, gave me this overwhelming sense of something bad is going to happen. Yeah. Like, you know what I mean? Like, I was like, something weird is going to happen. It's Broadway. People are going crazy and people are dressed scary. We need to get out of here. Like, we got, we got a stat. So we only went down there for a little bit, but we went during the day before the wedding, which was awesome. I love Broadway during the day. I love Broadway during the day. People who live in Nashville probably listening to me being like, no, you got to go somewhere else. I actually met one of my friends for dinner in 12 South, which was my first time hearing of that.

So if you're from Nashville, you probably know what that is, which was a different area than Broadway, which was nice to see because, you know, us. Variety. Yeah. We only know. We only know Broadway. Yep. So, yeah, it was fun. It was a fun weekend. Good. I'm glad. And it's, it was, it's funny. I was just thinking now. like it's Halloween weekend and we were both at separate weddings and now our topics are just talking more about Halloween and weddings. I was like, oh, right, right. That's just all that we have the space taken up today.

I mean, Sunday I was just so, I watched football. All the Eagles are 7 and 0. Good things are happening, you know? Yeah, and you're going to the game tonight, right? I hope so. I was, I got tickets this morning early. and so I'm trying to get my life in order here to get down there and get back. We have a fairly busy day tomorrow in the office,

so I'm trying to make sure I can get there and back and have time. And if I need to sleep somewhere, I can figure it out and make sure that everything's organized. So once we finish recording, I'll be figuring that out. But yes, I do hope to be there this evening. And I also hope that it doesn't rain. It's supposed to rain. Well, fingers crossed. It doesn't rain. Fingers cross. We hope you get there.

Let's get into the topics. We're going to be talking about Halloween weekend. We're going to do a Halloween roundup. We're also going to do a wedding roundup. And we also have a really, really great. great game of trivia. And then you must listen to the disclaimer after. And also, refrain from sending any messages about trivia during the segment. Just wait until listen to the whole thing. Just consume the whole thing. Yep. Yep. All right. Let's get into it.

Starting off with Halloween week. Okay. So a lot of costumes to talk about from this past weekend. Obviously, it's something we look forward to every year. What is everyone going to be wearing? our favorite celebrities, what costumes did they come up with? I'll say this. I was underwhelmed by the celebrities this year, but highly impressed with the random people on TikTok that were coming on my four-y page. I was seeing awesome costumes all over my TikTok from just random people that I've never seen before. Yeah. And the celebrities just really didn't hit the spot for me. There were some really great ones, but some that I just didn't understand. I'll start off with Haley Bieber. Yeah. Every time there is an event, we all look to Haley Bieber for what she's going to wear

because she has amazing street style. She has, when we, when we see paparazzi pictures of her, we're like, yes, Haley Bieber, love your outfits. Everyone copies her street style. When the Met Gala hits or red carpet hits, I feel like a lot of times we're underwhelmed because we really, we hype it up. Yeah. I usually love her Halloween costumes. This year,

she just was designers. Like she, like, I know, I know. The flower one was just from... It's just a YSL runway look from years ago. A YSL runway look from years ago. That's not a Halloween costume. I agree. And I understand, look, celebrities a lot, you can go in either direction. You either go

crazy. They do like the prosthetics, all this crazy stuff. Or I feel like people, you know, want to go the more sexy route, whatever it is. This was just like very pretty. There was just, there was no sense of Halloween in this to me at all. No. And then she did a Versace, vampire. So she was a quote unquote vampire. Right. She just had fangs. She just had fangs with a Versace outfit on. But she was just wearing a Versace outfit. Yeah, I know. Did you see her? And she was, Justin was in like a cookie monster onesie. I was like, I actually would have preferred if you just wore both wore onesies. Right. Like I just, um, it just didn't do it for me. And of course, she looked gorgeous and stunning. Like that's, you know, not even in the question. Yep. But.

that's what we're getting that's what you're doing for Halloween then Kendall Jenner the toy story which she I liked I liked it I thought it was cute wasn't expected it's cute it is cute I like it I wish I don't know sometimes I think there's like a I think there's very like basic costumes every year that people do because they're classics and they always hit you know it's like oh you do grease or you do like why is grease like the only one I can think of like something in that realm right where it's like you see so many do it every year it plays every year and toy story I feel like you see every year normally I feel like I see it more with families um couples do it sometimes but I feel like families do it a lot where that because there's obviously a lot of options when it comes to the toys that that if you have a lot of kids everybody can be a toy and it works out well but yeah it was good and you know Halloween for these celebrities is really and every year it becomes more and more just like they dress

up and they do a photo shoot and then they post the pictures and I've gotten used to it now but it is just very funny to me it's just like it's just so much work for a photo some of these people don't even leave the house they just do the full fit take some pictures and then that's it like and then there's and then a lot of them go to Halloween parties and then they and they wear something else it's like well well you wear the costume that looks

so fucking good that you just spent hours doing like at least like Kim Kardashian her mystique costume she posts all the pictures of but at least she wore it out and it was uncomfortable she wore to Tracy Alice Ross's 50th birthday party that wasn't a costume party

but at least she wore it out right but do you see that they always wear a downplate version of their original costume. Like Kylie Jenner wore a downpric version of... I mean, her Alvira costume was insane. Like, it was... They always just wear like... I get what you were saying.

Like, you're like, why don't you just leave the house in what you're wearing? Yeah. But, yeah, I don't know. I wasn't blown away by... Did I see Sean White and Nina Dobro? Yeah, they did have a good one. they did stranger things and then it's like Ariana Grande and um her friend I feel like I always say her name last name wrong is it is it is it Gilles I thought it was Gilles Liz yeah yeah that was Liz Gillies

Gillies they did they dressed up as um jane Lynch and Jennifer Coolish from the best from best and show and Liz posted it was like we we did this in May like it was like wait did you actually like you know people whenever you have the time to really sneak in that Halloween photo shoot we saw a lot of Pam and Tommy's from celebs and friends

and everybody would see that I feel like that was the Halloween 2022 costume Megan Foxy K did it Brianna did it she looked fucking awesome and I feel like there was a lot of

I saw a lot of Pam and Tommy for sure I did I did see a lot of on TikTok I saw it lot of Pam and Tommy. Right. I think Brianna looked really awesome. I think that Megan Fox at MGK just it almost just wasn't a costume. Also, MGK was Tommy Lee in the dirt. Yeah. I thought that was funny. Yeah. The pictures, they took on Instagram looked more like it than the paparazzi pictures, but obviously that's always that's all it's going to happen. And they, and people are just joking because

they're like, yeah, we, they are Pam and Tommy right now anyway. But yeah, yeah. Yeah. Go. I was expecting just to see a lot more. I know. Maybe it's just because some years people just really knock it out of the park. I thought Addison Ray, she did really good ones. She did Lady Gaga. She also did Kate Moss. Do you know who?

I'm looking at this Vogue. Oh, she's RuPaul's drag race. Shea. Shea, Koulet. Sheikule. I'm guessing is, um, I'm dying at this picture. I didn't even see this. I just seeing it right now. It, an entire blow up, you know, like the air, like the blowup costumes when you're like the dinosaur. But she's hot Patrick from SpongeBob.

It's really funny. That's amazing. Which is really fucking funny. Unfortunately, we don't know what Heidi Klum is yet because Heidi Klum does not reveal. until Heidi Bloom's Halloween on Halloween. But she did post Halloween prep, which was a Sprite tan. And it was a very seductive photo on her. It always is. On her Instagram.

It always is. Where you see that tan line. But I'm excited to see what she is. And yes, I did love Addison Ray's Lady Gaga. I thought that was really cool. I love when people do like their whole photo shoots. and you could really see the outfit very clear. Yeah.

I saw, you know what I saw a lot of Scooby-Doo? I saw a lot of Scooby-Doo characters this year. I liked, I'm always a good. But maybe that's because a lot of people died their hair, red. So Daphne, Daphne was a big hit. Instagram is absolutely wilding right. Joe, Jonas was Flo from Progressive, which. Oh, I was just going to say, you know what my favorite one was?

go ahead, but I'll do my favor after you say. If I'm flow from Progressive, I'm fucking hyped that Joe Jonas dressed as me. Oh, 100%. That's a great one. Frankie Jonas and his girlfriend did Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift from the Jonas Brothers 3D concert movie, which is very funny because Taylor Swift came out and sang a song. And so they did that. And then on Instagram and TikTok, they posted like, they just,

did some spoofs of Frankie like doing some of Joe's moves and being like Nick do the flip do the flip like it was it was it was very good I thought that was very very funny um the Riverdale girls did hocus pocus they crushed that very very very good I do love when people like I love when you can see everyone's full blown like costume department like the people that they have who help them do this put together these amazing looks which is so impressive um Olivia Rodrigo did Betty Boop did you see that one uh yes I that's right up here alley I I love a Betty Boop costume I have always wanted to be Betty Boop it would I would need somebody who was a professional to do the wig for me yeah yeah you know what I mean like for sure I don't I don't

want to half-ass Betty Boop. No, definitely. You know? A lot of superheroes, like a lot of, I felt like a lot of comic superheroes, which always plays. Lori Harvey did a bunch of Beyonce music video looks, which, of course, she crushed. Not shocking. Benny Drama did Britney Spears' wedding, which was really funny.

Like that iconic picture of Versace, Paris Hilton, Britney, Madonna, Slick. Selena and Drew Barrymore. They remade all those photos. That was really, really funny. And yeah, I said, Kylie did a ton. But yeah, Frankie Jonas cracked me up. Haley really crushed it last year when she did all of the different Britney Spears. Yeah.

Music videos and covers and she had that whole photo shoot spread. Yeah. And so I think that's why I was a little let down. Yeah. I understand. I think that's very fair. there's definitely ones where you're like up this you know could have been better you can't you can't crush it every year unless you're hiding club yeah yeah i'm very excited to see what she's got planned this you know there's always something good like i said i'm in the record book is saying that's i would love to go to that Halloween party i know one day maybe we'll get that's on the list like there's a lot of there's a lot of

Halloween. There's a lot of celebrity parties that look like they'd be great, but I feel like are probably pretty overrated. The Halloween, Heidi Klub's Halloween is one I would want to go to and the Vanity Fair Oscar party. Those are those are my top two, which is kind of a hilarious top two. But those are my top two. If anyone could make that happen for us, you know. Where is she doing the party this year? Is it in New York?

I don't know. I'm not exactly sure. There's always, I feel like she does them in New York. Although maybe I'm wrong about that. She is going to be, she told E-News that her costume this year is the best one she's ever done. Oh, Heidi, don't tease us like that. Obviously. Don't even tease us like that, Heidi.

For Heidi Ween. Can't wait to see. I guess we'll see. But yeah, I would say overall impressed by some, underwhelmed by most. That's the way I would describe it. Kind of a tough way to put it. But yeah, I just, somewhere. I love, I just, I love when I see a celebrity Halloween costume, I'm like, wow.

You know? I'll be honest. Kim's kind of did that for me. Mystique is, like, that's a, I know it's been done before. and people crush it every time, but like, that's a fucking process. When you know, when you see how much of an absolute process it is, I respect it so much more. Like, that takes all day to put that together. And take it off?

Right. I, I love, I love Kim's. I love what she did for her kids. I thought that was awesome. That was cute. But I think we just got to give a shout out to the people on TikTok who really crushed it. because I got a lot of inspiration from them for next year. I know, I know.

A lot of the people were really questioned, like, the good pop culture moments, being very creative and that way, especially on TikTok too. So good for them. Love is in the air, continues to be in the air for Bachelor Nation, it seems. There's been engagement, surprise weddings. Now we have more weddings. Over the weekend, Bachelor in Paradise stars, alums, Asherd and Kevin, who we love, got married in Florida. Maddie Pruitt got married as well to her guy, Grant.

And it seemed like two absolutely beautiful events. Kevin and Astrid got married in Florida, in Sarasota. And this has been a long time coming for them, too. You know, I think they got engaged in 2019. They postponed their wedding because of COVID, I think, you know, a couple times. Then they had their baby in 2021. And they got to have their celebration over the weekend.

It was beautiful. Kevin told people, you know, they've had this count every so long. It's going on two and a half years. They've been counting down to the day. They just wanted this to be like minimal stress. The pictures are beautiful. Their son is so cute. And then like people like, like Rachel Lindsay and Blake.

and Christina were all there. There's, you know, cute pictures. She looked beautiful. I mean, she's dropped dead gorgeous. The two of them are one good-looking couple, to say the least. Yeah, there was a lot going on with the weddings this weekend, which, you know, kind of shocking that a lot of people chose this weekend to have weddings. A lot of October weddings I'm seeing lately, which, you know what, I do get in some way with the weather. Like, you know, it's not too hot, not too cold.

whatever. That's besides the point. And they're in Florida. Right, right. That is true. Kind of actually probably more ideal for October wedding in Florida. So it's not too hot. But Kevin and Astrid love them. Congratulations to them. I think that the main focus right now is Maddie's bail that said, worth the weight.

And I just don't know if I would make. my entire wedding bill be about sex when you guys haven't even done it. Like, you know what I mean? Like, how do you know it was worth the weight? You haven't done it yet. How do you know? You don't know what it's like having sex. And they could also like...

You haven't done it yet. So was it worth the weight? Or are you going to do it that night and go, oh, maybe this wasn't worth the weight? Yeah, I also feel like they could tell us so many times that that, you know, wasn't the meaning of the veil. They have not said, but if they could just be like, oh, you know, just worth

waiting to find the right person, the perfect person. But yeah, the amount of the what the content we see from Maddie now is very religious, I guess is the

word for it. And she's very open about that. She does all these talks and speech. and whatnot. And so, yes, it was just, it was a little bit of a giggle to see the, like, Haley Bieber style veil of what the word stitched and then having it say worth the weight. And they did post a story, the two of them together. They were talking about, like, the band that played. But she was like, yeah, last night was amazing. And he was like, like smiling ear to ear.

He was like, yeah, it was. It's like, I can't. Oh, boy. You know, it's one of those things where I can just, all I can say is, you know, good for them. I know, I know. Happy for them. 400 friends and family.

That's a massive wedding. They got married in Dallas. At his parents' home. He, Grant, this, this, we've talked about this before, but a reminder that this guy is, his family is, they're like billionaires. so they probably i'm sure spared no expense it was a very fast engagement they put this thing together in like three months so that's very impressive when you have a wedding at that caliber right like

and 400 people and you do it that quickly there were a ton of um bachelor people there like a lot of her cast was there from Peter's season. Kelly was there, which made me laugh because she posted a picture and then Peter commented and was like, where's Peter? Peter commented that himself. Like, Peter, don't think you're getting the invite to, don't think you're getting the invite to that one. Yeah, I think they're probably going to skip you for that.

Yeah, exactly. But the, like the cake was stunning. I mean, the whole thing, what looked absolutely beautiful. beautiful. So great pictures. They're going to Cabo now. Be enjoying their life together. You know what? Like I said, I'm just, I'm just happy for them. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. You're just, she said she'd always wanted a short engagement. She made it happen. These two fully seem like they are similar and their values and all those things, which is very important. So I feel like this is, They don't have to change anything about themselves to fit their partner, which is exactly what you're looking for.

Just was a counting issue because, you know, one to five is very hard. And now we will be putting him on a suspension. Devin will be hosting the next game. she will be fact-checking. Hopefully she is better because, look, that was a phenomenal game. That's the deepest overtime we've ever been in.

It was very exciting. But in reality, we should have lost in regular time, in regulation. We should have lost in regulation. It was such a good game, so it makes it really upsetting that we should have just lost and it wouldn't have gone to overtime in a shootout. We're going to have to play them again like we did last week with the people we also mess up the game because we also should have lost that game.
