Trying. Anyways, this is not election coverage because it's currently 1123 on Thursday night, and We do not have an answer on the presidential election. Still not the president. Counting the votes. But the Bachelorette did go on as scheduled. So that's where we're here. Very exciting news.

I feel like we all needed a break from focusing on what's happening. I feel like the two hours we got from the Bachelorette. It helped. It was an amazing. Amazing break helped us. You know, got some drinks before. Drank during it. Drank after it.

Had a good freaking time. We're here. We may be a little tipsy, maybe just re-re, but that's okay. That's okay. I thought that was about to turn into like a total freestyle there Got a little tipsy, but just me, Rebrey, like it's, no, I'm not going to embarrass myself. I only pre-write my songs.

I would say 2011. Nine years ago. I wasn't that far off. Oh my God. It's 2020. You're actually right. The first episode was 2011 and it ended in 2016. So that was close.

If you asked me if I thought 2011 was eight or nine years ago, I would have said no because it doesn't feel that far away. No, I'm with you. I still think the 90s were 10 years ago. Yeah, exactly. That's how old I am. Yeah, not me. I was born in 1997. But anyways.

I knew I had to hit something or else that would have been highly embarrassing. Let me just get something on the record here. Fran and I and Kelly Kieg's, we went to a dinner before The Bachelor at Tonight, and we may have had a few drinks. And by we, I mean I. I had a few more drinks than the other two. Just one. Just one.

One that put me over the edge. One that done me right. One that's got me freestyling on this podcast. It's the one that took you into overserved territory. Overserved territory for sure. I felt like a real square when you guys should. I was perhaps overserved. I was overserved.

Absolutely. By myself. I overserved myself because those drinks are just legit addicted to this one drink. I'm obsessed with it. anyways, not the point here. The point is, I'm a little drunk. And that's what we need to get on the record. How about you, Fran?

How are you feeling? I'm feeling good. I'm not going to lie. I kept drinking during the show. Yes. We had our Owens Mixers. You recreated the drink that we had at dinner with our Owens Mixers in the office. So good.

Correct. Oh, wait, no. I rated a 67. No, 67, yeah. So two points lower. Okay. I've evened out a little bit, but. That's a good spot to be.

I feel good. And let's get into the show. Let's get into tonight's episode. It did, it started very quickly. Like, I feel like this episode flew by this maybe because the drinking, but. No, I had nothing to drink in. It went fast. All of a sudden it was 930 and it was like, holy shit, this is like over.

We started off right away with Chris, I'm throwing this market across the room, with Claire and Chris Harrison. Maybe, maybe. Yeah, yeah. Maybe, maybe. Rude, okay. Perhaps you were overserved as well. Perhaps. Claire and Chris Harrison are having this sit-down chat.

And Chris Harrison immediately was like, hey, don't bullshit me. Don't fuck with me, man. Yeah, he was... Tell me the truth. Right. He wasn't messing around. I mean, when has he ever had a talk like this before? Where he has to basically say, are we going to continue this season of The Bachelor with

you? Do we got to get somebody else in here? So he was, yeah, he cut right to the chase. He said, don't bullshit me. Yeah. And then at one point I think he said, don't fuck with me. Yeah. Well, he literally said to her, we can't continue like this.

Yeah. And then she professed her love for Dale. So what I feel like this was was like a situation, what we see with Bravo shows or other reality shows from time to time when they say, hey, this cast member has decided to leave. We saw it with Dorinda with the Real Housewives. You know, Teddy got out in front of her story and said, I'm not, I'm just going to be up front. I'm not going to say this is a leaving situation. But behind the scenes, what they say is that when they say somebody has decided to not come back, usually it means that they were told this is not working out. And they let them make that

statement and make it seem like it's on their own terms. Kind of felt like this is, this was a situation with Claire and production because we did hear on Nick Viall's podcast that Robert Mills said that when Claire didn't give the rose to anybody and gave it to herself, that's when they knew this wasn't going to work. And the guys were fed up. So I feel like they had a little, they had a little sit down conversation with Claire probably prior to the plan sit down conversation on camera and figured out, do you want to leave with Dale? Would you be okay with that? The guys aren't really loving this. You're not really loving the guys. I feel like it was, you know, a heavy push on production. Yeah. I agree with you. I think that the opening was there. She so clearly

was into Dave so much more than they have ever dealt with a bachelor, a bachelor, a bachelor's before. And I would like, I think it's, I think the most important part of this episode, because there was a lot that happened. But Claire talking to Chris Harrison about Dale and how, you know, she knew all the guys, who the guys were before going on the show. So, you know, she would look at their social media and she would look at Dale's social media and how, you know, she saw his post on Mother's Day and him posting about his sister and all these things that she really related. to and to me that cleared up so much. Yep.

Because it really seemed like yes, Claire has fallen in love at warp speed. She does not, has not known this guy for that long, but she had been preparing herself to date this guy for months. There's like looking at his Instagram, watching his stories, like getting to know him via social media with sound, which sounds so creepy. I understand like it feels like it sounds very creepy but she knew that she was going to be meeting him eventually. Right.

It wasn't stalkerish in that. There was no end in sight. It sounds stalkerish like it wasn't like, oh, she just stalked his social media hoping like that one day they would cross paths on the street or something. She knew that they were going to end up meeting. But it sounds like to me that she built up Dave, Dave, Jesus Christ. Actually, you know what?

I actually think that's the second. time you've called him Dave. I thought the first time was like a slip. Yeah, Dale. Damn it. She keeps building up Dale in her mind that it's like so high that it was, there's no way to avoid it. She already was dating Dale in her brain.

Right. And she's projecting all these things onto him. I mean, you can learn things about someone on social media, but you don't know what they're really like. Yeah. But that's still that, it makes way more sense now why when he got out of the limo, she was like,

there he is. That's the love of my life. That's going to be my husband. Because when we're watching it at the time, you're like, well, that was crazy. Yeah. Like,

and there had been rumors of them talking beforehand through DM. Which she swore on her father's grave did not happen. Right. And I believe her because now we know that there was a flip side to that where, no, they weren't talking. But she was like subconsciously talking. him while watching all of his Instagram stories and seeing all of his posts and building him up

in her mind. So it's not the same thing, but it's kind of the same thing. Because as soon as she saw him, she was like, oh, that's the guy that I'm falling in love with. He's going to be my husband. Yeah. Listen, before Hank, I'm thinking, I'm thinking back to high school here. There were times where I would stalk somebody on Instagram that I had never spoken to. Like just new through. I would do that, but on Facebook. New three. Instagram and high school. New through a mutual friend. Stalk on Instagram and be like, this person is straight up my husband.

Like I am like marrying this. Like I think every girl can relate to a situation of stalking somebody on Instagram, Facebook, whatever it was, maybe even MySpace. And you were like, when you're in high school now when you're all, you know. Right. No, exactly. And you're like, well, yeah, we're Claire 39. So this kind of doesn't relate.

I'm like in high school when I was 15. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But you like, you're like, oh my God, like this person's it. And then you mean. them and you're still like, oh my God, they're exactly what I thought. And then like two weeks

go by and you're like, wait a second, this person kind of sucks. Like I've just been like fascinating about their Instagram pictures, but they're not who I think they are. But I mean, apparently they're engaged. Yeah. So basically Chris Harrison says, you know, like this is over. You know, this is this is over clearly. What do you want to do? What's the next steps? He goes to talk to the guys. No cocktail party, no roast ceremony. Claire will see you guys tomorrow. And Dale, can I talk to you?

Pulls Dale out of the room. Says Claire wants to see you. You have a date with Claire. They basically set up just like the fastest fantasy suite date that they could at this point because it was pretty much over. It was like, all right, they're going on this date. Claire whipped out her best dress. She wore this red dress.

looked so good. I saw some, I tweeted about how great the dress was. And someone tweeted back of me saying like, but more sparkles and glitter from Claire. But like, that's a bachelor's specialty. You don't, like,

name me one Bacheloret that didn't wear sparkly dresses, like all season long. They all do. That's like the whole, yeah. I mean, let you see, Tisha's dress was glitter.

Yeah, we can't. I hate on Claire for stupid things like her dress. No, I know. That dress was great. She looked to me. Yeah.

Now it feels like we're nitpicking. I know. That dress was fantastic. She looked so good. Yeah, we can pick on other things, but the dress. 100%. She looked so good. And so, you know, she's having this date with Dale.

Everything's clicking. She says she's falling in love with him. But the funny thing is, it's like she said, you know, I'm falling for you and whatever. And it seemed like Dale was kind of like, I'm falling for you as well in this process. You know, it's just. seemed like, because Claire knew at this point that like, hey, this is kind of over and this is it. Dale did not know that. Like, Dale did not know that all the other guys were like going to be sent home.

That this was kind of the end of this whole thing. I think Dale thought he had much more time. Yeah, Claire was very much trying to catch him up without explicitly saying what she had done in the conversation she had had with Chris Harrison. But she was essentially sitting there with Dale being like, I'm falling in love with you. I think this is the real deal. this feels great to me. And you're right, Dale was still in, however long they had been there in real time, not that long.

He's still like, all right, I got to, I'm going to be here for a few more weeks still. I still have to compete against all these guys. But I do sort of feel these feelings that you are expressing towards me. When in Claire's head, she's like, no, you're the only one and I'm about to cut everyone else loose. So you need to catch up and try to get on the same level as me because otherwise it's not going to work. Yeah. Yeah. I also think that hearing Claire talk more about their relationship.

And it's like, Claire's like, I like you so much. And Dale's like, yeah, I'd really like to, you know, get to know you better. Like, they still don't really know anything about each other. They were talking about their parents and their parents' love. And Claire's dad proposed after like three weeks. Like, clearly Claire has had this, her parents' relationship. I feel like probably affected how she was

with men in her life I would think that with the speed of that and how much she would love James and Lily a lot of people were obviously talking about Harry Potter reference flew right over my head

and I like not it's I like Harry Potter and I watch those movies it's not like Twilight but like I just didn't see I didn't catch on me at all when I heard those names yeah yeah a lot of people

were tweeting that at us though Claire's red dress was dazzling like Edward dazzles in the sunlight. Yep. Yep. Nailed it. I do want to say one thing about their, they're like matching love stories about the hitchhiking that seemed to be a common thing

between the two of them. It was a very strange connection when I think, like I think a lot of people were hitchhiking. Hitchhiking is not a thing now. People don't do that. It's incredibly dangerous. But I think back then. I advise you to not hitchhike. Just a little PSA out there.

Do not hitchhike. Don't even think about doing that. But back then. You have to check your Uber at least three times. the license plate before you got into that thing. I like, I check that license plate a million times before I get it. Same.

I'm walking up to it and I'm like, and I do like a full swoop around the car. And then I get in and I'm like, I'm like, I'm Trent. And they're like, yeah, yeah, I know. And I'm like, okay. No, no, you don't say I'm Trent and you say,

who are you here for? So that they say your name because they could be like, yeah, I'm here for Trent. And then the child locks go on and I'm screwed. I always look at the, their phone screen. if I can't see it. Yeah.

Because sometimes Francesca is tough. Right. Or for Maria? Yeah. Well, then I'm giving them the name. But you get the point. You're right, though. I shouldn't announce who I am because they're like, yeah.

Sure. Let's rob this guy. Trent Ryan. You're the guy we're taking. Yeah. But the hitchhacking thing, like I'm guessing their parents probably grew up in like the 60s and the 70s. I don't have that math, right?

But they're like, there's probably a lot of hitchhiking that goes on. And they use that as part of the bedrock that they are now going to go forward on. I just thought that was entertaining. Definitely. And they go on to this date there. They have a beautiful performance from Chris and Bree. We'll get into it. I want to remind you guys all to be drinking those monster energy ultras. April, I think. Six or seven months ago, that seems incredible. incredibly incorrect. But Chris and Brin... There was something about watching that show, though, together. Well, because... In that moment where it was the only thing we had.

It was the only thing we had, and it was the time when sports had not figured their shit out. No, it was the only... It was really... Wow. It was really the... The finale was May 17th or 18th. It was really the only...

That's crazy. Yeah. It was really the only new content, and luckily for us, it was Bachelor content that was out there. And Chris and Bree are the only two... I think I can remember. If I think, maybe if I, Rudy, oh, Rudy was great.

Yeah. But if I had to think too hard about, oh, yeah. Now that you say it, no, but now that you say the names, like it clicks, it clicks. But they were great. They famously fell in love in a guitar center. It's sort of similar to Claire and Dale where it was love at first sight. As soon as they got together, they were just in it and they were going out of it. They moved very quickly, however, they stayed for the entirety of the show.

That's true. But yes, they performed. It was beautiful. Wow, what a dis, Fran. Oh, well, yeah. I mean, the bike is hot. Okay, Dale and Claire, take the date to the bedroom. And we got to zoom in on the road.

You're making a lot of sound effects tonight. A lot. That was disgusting. I wish you guys would kick me off the show for making that noise. While we're here, do you want to address any of the tweets that you sent out tonight? Any of them? Any of them. What's what are you guys talking about?

I mean, he tweeted like, I, let's fuck like 15 times. I fuck already. I remember there. At one point there's a penis. There's a penis. The penis one I actually turned around. I'm like, wow. Noah, yeah, Noah's getting involved.

One of them had said, oh, Dale had said that Claire pulled a lot out of him. And you said, yes. I'd like to be excluded from this narrative. Yes. From his penis. That was my direct quote from your tweet. Roxy.

Roxie. Roxie. Roxanne. Yes, Fran. You knew exactly where I was going with that. Holy shit. For anybody who doesn't know that reference, like, don't even listen to the show

if you don't know that reference. Please. Trent doesn't know what we're talking about. Like, do I now have to leave the room? Do I have to exit the room? Let's not tell him. If you're not in on the joke, you don't deserve to know.

Like a pooh. Like a pooh. I'm going to Google it right now. Oh, wait. I can't think of it, but I feel like I know what it is. So say it. I don't know. I don't think you'll know.

Okay. Yeah, so that was her. Anyway, they clearly had some relations. Oh, the funniest part to me of that, obviously they had the clothes on the ground. They're laying in bed. They're naked or whatever. They did have one random shot where it was the two dogs that she brought with her.

The big one was on the couch and the little one was like on the floor. It looked like the dogs hadn't slept. They were just like, it was a very random shot. That's one of those very weird situations that I think people with dogs. or have dogs that, you know, live with them and you're in a relationship. Like, were Claire's dogs in the room the whole night? That was the implication. Are they the kind of dogs that say to watch?

You guys want to know? To be honest, I started to say it and then I was like, oh, God. Oh, we don't have to go into it, but that was the, but that's what they always do. They give implications on like, oh, this. There's always, like, in funny, in movies and stuff, it's like they're banging and the dogs. No, we do not. The dogs on the, the dogs on the ground, like, look. and they're like,

can you get your dog away? Norman's horny enough. He doesn't have to be in the room with us. You've got to seen the dog. I've seen the picture. Yeah. You know what? Why am I thinking about this?

Oh, I just watched it in a, oh my God, I haven't even told you this. I don't know how you're going to react when I tell you this. Okay. I am giving Schitt's Creek another shot. That's fine. I started the other night.

I watched a documentary, and I was like, oh, my God, this is beautiful. I cried a lot. I'm enjoying it. You are? I've made it to the second season. Okay.

Much better. Like once I had to get past like the first like six episodes but once I did that, I'm enjoying it. I am enjoying it. I have chuckled out loud a couple times now. I'm a big fan. I didn't want to admit the other night. I truthfully I started again because I watched a documentary and I was sobbing like a freaking

baby when they were reading the letter about how they just have, you know, help so many people open up and be honest about themselves and come out. And I literally was sobbing and I was like, this is so beautiful. I love this so much. I need to watch this show. So, okay. Yeah. This is a swift movement from.

We're back watching Ships Creek. We're giving another shot. What was this about the dog? Yes. And there's an episode in the beginning of the show. I think it's first season of Alexis and she's in bed with, I'm forgetting his name right now, Ted. The vet?

The vet. Yeah. And his dog is next to the bed watching them. That's right. And she's like, is your dog going to move? And he's like, oh, just leave him alone. He's fine. I'm just like, this is weird.

She's the dogs are sitting there watching them. So Claire's dogs, were they there the whole time? I mean, that's not on us. No, no, no, but that's not on us. That's on them, including that shot. It was they come into the bedroom. There's clothes on the ground. There's two dogs also in the room.

And then they go to Claire and Dale. So they put that in our heads. Correct. Yeah. Correct. Okay. they're talking in bed. Both of them are saying like they would take a lie detector test to prove that they didn't talk before the show.

So once again, they are adamant that they did not talk before the show. If it does come out because we saw the teaser for their little sit down with Chris Harrison next week where he's like, did you lie to all of America? I hope they hook them with the lie detector test. Yeah. I hope they do. I hope they roll lie detector test out of like the episode of One Tree Hill when they put them on the lie detector test. This is just a reference city. today.

Yeah. Yeah. We have to stop. I'm sorry. Okay. Chris Harrison and Claire. Chris Harrison and Claire talk again. And basically Chris Harrison, we all screamed at the television.

Chris Harrison was like so then there's really nothing left except for a proposal. Wait, wait. We're just jumping to the proposal. There's no like, hey, let's let them leave or date or whatever. And yes, we all saw the people. picture of Claire with the massive engagement ring today. We saw the pictures that were posted of her shopping and she had the massive ring on. Maybe she jumped the gun on putting the ring back on in public because she knew it was coming out today. But still, seeing that picture did not

connect with me that she would actually get engaged on the show. I thought it would be like they left, they ran away together and maybe Dale proposed like months afterwards. That was not the case, he says proposal. Claire's like, yeah, proposal. Let's go. I'm ready. We're doing it. I mean, Chris Harrison put it out there essentially as an ultimatum.

He's like, if you want to leave. He's like, the only thing that's left is proposal. Yeah, if you want to leave. And then he said the same thing to Dale. It was like, Dale, buddy, the only step left is proposal. He's like, you got to propose now. The craziest part was the sit down with Claire and Chris Harrison without Dale where they do start talking about proposal.

And they essentially plan out the entire. higher thing when Dale is a very big part of this proposal since he is going to be the one doing it. Although I thought it would have been funny or it would have been cool actually if Claire had proposed to Dale because why not? But like them, Chris Harrison and Claire planning out the proposal without Dale there was very strange. Yeah.

Very strange. Truly hilarious when you really think about how insane the show actually is. Yeah. No. Like, all right, let's talk to Dale to see what he's feeling. It was straight up. there's only one thing left and that's... There is nothing else you can do right now.

Propose. You can't imagine. What? He was going to be proposing two weeks. Are you kidding me? Like, what is happening right now? You guys have spent... I respect the hell out of this show and the game that they play.

Having Chris Harrison straight up be like, proposal. And we're all like, you know what? Yes. Proposal. It was crazy too. And I think, like I said, Dale, no way he thought he was proposing in two weeks. and we've been critical of Claire, but it's like almost hard to be critical of Dale in some of these cases

because I feel like he's in a fog. Like he's just saying, yeah, okay. Like he's being pushed in these directions and it felt like you didn't even really know what was happening. I feel like he proposed and then maybe he had to take a couple days to be like, what the fuck did it just happened on television? Like I'm engaged now. This is all really like what just happened in the last two weeks.

It all happened so. incredibly fast. And then Claire has to go talk to the guys and tell them, you know, Dale, I found it. He's the one. This is it. This is over. And most of the guys were more receptive. They all seemed, you know, a little bit upset.

Blake, who was from the beginning, very convinced that this was not happening, that she was not going to pick Dale right away, that this was not going to happen. Like Blake was felt very strong. Like Blake points. that felt very strongly. He was so wrong. Everything he said was wrong. When they pulled Dale out to when Chris Harrison was basically like, she likes you, she wants to go on a one-on-one day with you and we're going to cancel the cocktail party and the

road ceremony, he was inside being like, no way they go on a date. No way. No way. No way are they spending tonight together. That's just not happening. No way. No way. No way they propose.

No way. No way they're getting out of here. And everything he said was so wrong. And yeah, he was not happy about this announcement. And then Kenny actually said that. she has to apologize to the group, which is where we saw her say, you know, I'll apologize for wasting your time or things like that, but I won't apologize for finding love. And you know what? I'm with her on that. I, Claire, we've given her a lot of shit, but from day one, she said she was

coming on this show to find her husband. She found him in one day. And I think she found him before she even started filming, like she knew it was going to be Dale. And so she picked her, guy and she didn't fake it and try and write out the whole season. And so right off the bat, she knew it was Del. She came clean to the guys. It sucked for the, obviously, the rest of the guys that this happened. But at the end of the day, they did bring Tasha in. So really doesn't suck that much for these guys.

Think about the flip side of it. Think about how much more we would have complained if she had just stuck around and had known. If she just actually dragged all these guys along for weeks when we could not maybe tell as much as we can right now. but could tell that Dale was the frontrunner. Right. Like as shitty as it is, and I'm sure those guys were disappointed,

and they had to quarantine for a couple weeks, and they, you know, they rearranged their lives for this show. Like, I understand being upset, but I would be far more upset if I were them if she had stuck around knowing that she just was going to Dale, going to Dale, going to Dale. So for her to be honest and be like,

I think I found my guy, I'm going to leave, you got to at least give her some credit for that. If we were six weeks in, and she was like on a one-on-one with Jay, and it was like, all right, what are we doing here? Like she clearly doesn't want to be doing this right now. It's so the guys, the guys would have eventually gotten even more fed up than they were. So it seems like this was the only thing that they could do.

Let's talk about some engagement rings. Neil Lane feels like he's on speed out. Chris Harrison just got right into it. He pulled up Neil Lane on FaceTime. I would have loved a little deep dive into that. Yeah, not enough ring conversation. Yeah, he got the FaceTime from Chris Harrison. Like, we need a ring.

Things are happening very fast here in the bubble, very fast. And then it was just the ring appeared. Like, I want a 24-hour breakdown. of what the hell happened, how Neil Lane got that ring, how he got it into the bubble, everything. So if that can happen, I'd be very happy. I would love to speak to Neil Lane on the podcast, just about Bachelor Rings through the years.

Yeah, I would, that'd be great. Yeah, it would be, I think it would be very interesting. I'd also like to just talk about rings. Like, yeah. Just like, what's the ring business? Yeah. What is that like? Yeah, yeah.

Maybe one day. Exactly. So Chris Harrison then tells Dale, you know, Claire just broke up with all the other guys. And now she's ready for you to propose. And now he had no idea. He had no idea. No idea. No idea.

No idea. Sprung on him. Clare's waiting for your proposal, sir. Like straight up sprung on him. And what, like, I am so confused about how to feel about any of this because what are you supposed to do in that moment? Are you supposed to be like, uh, I don't really want to propose or do you. I do not have a choice. He should have just ran away.

No, really, yeah, literally he should have been like, uh, I want to stay for the new one. Like that that would have been hilarious. I'm hearing rumors that Tasha's coming in about like, can I stick around? Here's the one place where you can, if you wanted to critique Dale where he is, he's like not even in control of what's going on where I know it's a show. I know that they're supposed to find love. There's producers involved. There's all this stuff going on. But I think at some point he could have said, I don't think I should be.

propose here. Like, I don't think that's what we should do. We haven't known each other for that long. We can still try this and be together and leave the property. But I don't think he needed to propose. And if he could have, if he didn't want to, he could have been like, he should have spoke up and said, I don't want to do this. That's where you can critique it because it was all happening a little too fast and it didn't

feel all that genuine. He's spineless. I didn't want to say it. But in those moments, he was. That's what it feels like because what is going on? Right, there was no way he was realistically ready to propose. It seems like, you know, that was the right move for him for the show because they were kind of gearing up for this fairy tale whirlwind romance between the two of them.

And it does, look, it benefits them right now that as far as we know, they are currently still together. You know, they're posting on Instagram. They went on live together after the show. They said that they lived together despite rumors that they aren't actually together. that Dale's been going on dates. There's a lot of what-ifs, but as of right now,

from their own mouths, they are together. And so I think that, like, very much helps their case. Now, is that on purpose? I don't know. Like, is it like, all right, we got engaged in two weeks.

We can't look like idiots if we're already broken up. So, like, you know, let's be engaged for. It was obviously great for the show to see him get down on one knee after four weeks on the show. It was absolutely insane.

I could not believe. First I thought Chris Harrison was going to come to say, we're so proud of you, you've been so brave. Dale has left. Definitely. Those are the vibes that we're giving off. But instead he was there ready to go and he actually got down on one knee and proposed.

Unbelievable. Like I don't think it's that different, at least for the viewer, now it is because we know that he did propose and she accepted or whatever. But I think in that moment beforehand, if he's giving that pre-proposal speech, And then he says, so I really think we have something here.

I think we got a chance. Let's get out of here and try our best. Obviously, we don't have the holy shit reaction. But it almost in a way, in a big way, is more believable. Yeah. Because the proposal is like, what are we doing here? As far as I'm concerned at this point, I don't even care about Clarendale. Congrats them.

They are engaged and in love or whatever it is, maybe. You know, how long will they last? I don't know. Who's to say? How long do you think? I give it six months. I give it six months. And I would like to be proven wrong.

I would love them. I would love to see them go the mile. Yeah. Whatever. The distance. One full mile. That's probably how long they are going. Yeah, that's where my mind is at.

Yep. As of now, I'm like, let's focus on Tasia. Why don't we just focus? You know what? It's time to make the shift. Let's stop focusing our time on Clare and Dale. They're clearly running off together. We got a great first half of the season.

And now we got a two-and-one deal. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. The guys, Chris Harrison geared them up, said, hey, we got a new Bachelorette coming in for you guys. You can stay. You can go. It does seem like some of the guys are a little torn.

I mean, Jason, they didn't know if Jason was going to show up or not. Jason definitely got the short end of the stick here. He had that one-on-one where he poured his heart out and, like, exposed his parents' secrets on national television. and Claire, you know, obviously didn't have those kinds of feelings for him. So, you know, these guys are trying to think like, oh, do we want to stay? Of course they're all staying. They don't know who it is, but I'm sure once they see it's Tasha. It's like they tried to play it up like these guys like, ah, you know, we really built connections with Claire.

I don't know if this is going to work with another girl. Give me a break. When they see Tasia, they are all going to start drooling. She looked amazing, so, so beautiful. Tasha is great. I think that these dates are going to go very, very well. And I do like, I said this on the after show, but I don't, and, you know, Rhea disputed me on this. But I have not seen like any spoilers for Tasha at all, which is nice because I feel like with Claire, obviously everything got ruined right away.

So I don't really know what's going to happen with Tasia. No, I haven't seen anything either. I don't know if they're going to bring guys back. I don't know because I think they should. I think they really, other than Yosef, I think they should bring back as many guys as they can because they clearly didn't get a fair shake with Claire. But no, I haven't seen anything either,

which has been nice. Claire's thing blew up so publicly that it was impossible to avoid. But with Tasha, I'm heading into it completely blind. I think she's going to be an awesome bachelorette. She was my pick before Claire got named. I just thought she would be great. So now we're actually going to get to see that happen in a very weird circumstance. But I do.

I hope they bring back the guys. I don't think anybody's going to leave. No, I don't think so. A couple of guys thought they might, but a couple things. One, you spent two seconds with Claire because she was spending all of her time with Dale. Yeah. And two, at least part of the reason that most of the guys are probably there is to get some sort of internet clout. Yeah.

So Claire, Tasia, whoever, it doesn't totally matter. But I am excited to see some of these guys try their handwere. with Tasha because I think she's going to be really good at being the Bachelorette. People were damning me stuff, but nothing to ruin the season just about like, you know, what kind of guys, whatever. I don't want to get into it, but really nothing to make me like know anything at all. I'm just excited to see what happens with her and the guys just because I feel like we haven't really seen much of the guy's personalities.

We've seen Riley, who I really like. I think he has a great personality. But nobody really else has stood out to me. So I feel like now with Tatia, we're going to get to see more of the guys. they're probably going to make it even more like all over the place with how many guys she's meeting and talking to because we didn't see that with Claire. So they're going to make up for that. I'm just excited for her. She looked amazing.

The promos that came out for Tasha were unreal. And I hope that we don't lose the dramatics a little bit though. I think we will. I think we have to. I mean, there's no way. It's not going to be anymore close to it. Right. But we just saw it was so insane.

It was. Unless Tisha falls for Riley. and she's like, I want him to propose to me and she gets shipped out of town. Right. They leave. Well, they just leave. Right.

And then Hannah Ann comes in. And we start this whole process over again. And now this is just the show. Two-week bachelorette. This is just the show where it keeps going over and over and over again. That's obviously not going to happen. 14-day fiancé. Yeah.

Is that a, do you know, is that a show? 90-day fiancé. Oh, I was going to say. That sounds like a good title. But, oh, what was I going to say? I just, I'm very excited about Tasia. I think she'll be. She'll be very good.

Riley, I'm also excited about. I just need to, I need a refresher on these guys. Yeah. For being totally honest, although you, I mean, you, yeah, the one screenshot from the night that was very funny was when one of the Chris Harrison coming in and telling the guys bad news, feels like there was a lot of that tonight. But in one of them, the room looked particularly packed. Yeah.

There's just so many guys left. I would like to know in real time from Dale getting out of the limo and meeting Claire to the proposal. How much time actually elapsed? Like, how much time do we think that was? I think the rumors were that it was two weeks, right? Holy shit. That the rumors were that it was, they had started, production had to get a new person in two weeks in.

Yeah. So it was two weeks for Dale to propose, which is near, not nearly enough time. I said to someone should be proposing again because it was right. Dale thought he was getting on the local train to love and it was the express train. Yeah. Yep. It was nailed it. But at least it sort of worked.

At least all, they're putting up all the appearances that it worked. So for now. As of right now, you know, they're on IG live. Claire's battling with people in the comments. They're a couple. Part of me wants to say, fuck it. I don't believe them. But I also don't want to say that because then everyone's like, can't you just believe

they're in love? And I'm like, sure. If you want me to be naive, I will be. It would be a beautiful love story. I feel like Claire kind of gets that love story that her parents had that clearly she's always wanted and this would be the time. But and she was engaged before again. Can this really? She was engaged before on this show.

Benoit's in the comments of the picture. And she did go on Instagram live with Dale and Benoit commented. He said, I want to shake Dale's hand. It seems like a good man. Come on Benoit. Benoit's a good guy. I just, I don't know, man. Like I don't feel like this is something that will really work.

You get engaged within two weeks. I mean, shit. Like, Kelly Ann. That doesn't really happen in these days. Kelly, what's her last name? Flanagan and Peter? Oh, yes. They're not engaged.

No. You know what I mean? Like, thank God. No, no. Yes. That is true. I mean, it feels like they've been dating for a while now. Right.

And that's normal. It's like, okay, they realize where, you know, you know, people hate it on Peter for so long because he bounced around which you know fair enough but then like like do there is to take it slow they're taking whatever normal okay I can appreciate that but like we're getting engaged after two weeks and we're going to believe that this is going to be like a fantastic relationship maybe it will be I want like I said I want to be proven wrong they did show clips at the end of them I don't know when they were taken but like them cooking and them hanging out yeah yeah they said that was like four days

after or whatever they were still in quarantine. I really hope that everything goes great for Claire. I would love this story to be Claire's love story. I think she's always wanted an epic love story. This would definitely fit that. And I'm a sucker for a good love story. And so it's just like I hope it all works out for them. She seems extremely happy right now.

So I hope that works. And you know what? I hope Tasha finds someone too because I like these guys. I think we're going to get. to see a lot of more personality from these guys because we really haven't, don't know any of them at all.

So I'm excited for that too. Yeah, we're four weeks in. And I really, I had trouble looking at that screenshot. I had trouble naming a decent amount of them. And I, normally by now I know them all, but we just haven't spent

much time with any of them except Dale. Yep. And Brooke Moynes or Blake Moynes, Riley. And this is, yeah. It's getting late. Jason, Jason.

Jason. Jason. Is Chase is still around? Jason and Jason. Yeah. Still there. When was our last roast ceremony? Five years ago.

It really was. Week one? I don't know. At the beginning of week three, there was only two rose ceremonies, this entire Claire's. And like one cocktail party. Like there was the roast ceremony night one. Yep. And then we went week two, they didn't give us a rose ceremony because that was Yosef.

Right. The teas at the end. And then week three, we got a rose ceremony at the beginning of the episode. and then this week was no row ceremony and she's now engaged. So to answer your question, the dramatics will go down. I mean, they just have to. Yeah. There's no way they can't.

You're right. And you know what? Maybe we all need a little break. Yeah, maybe, maybe. But I got to say it was a good distraction. It was a fun episode. It didn't Claire and Dale wishing them the best, I think. Right?

Yeah. Yeah. I keep saying. Yeah. Of course. Why would not? Keep saying Claire and Dale. You know, we don't want them to go through a hard time.

Clarendale is slowly morphing into Chip and Dale in my head. Cale? What I, Cale? Chip and Dale is all I'm thinking now and when I say Clare and Dale. I think I speak for everyone when I say we will be keeping a close eye on their relationship. Yeah. Because that'll be, I'm rooting for it. I hope it works out.

Claire did the damn thing. She showed up. She did. I don't know if I'll be keeping a close eye. I really don't care of that much what happens with them. I'm on to Tatia. Anytime I see a headline or a tweet, I'll be like, what's going on with that? Way to invest.
