Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. This is... What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Monday. Woo-woo! I hope everybody had a fantastic weekend.
Starting point is 00:00:32 I hope the energy is up. Guys, it's March. That means we are headed into warmer weather. The summer is right around the course. corner, stay strong, guys. Stay strong through whatever it is you're going through right now, whether it be sickness, school. Wow.
Starting point is 00:00:49 No, keep going. I was, you were motivating. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whether it's sickness. Don't stop. School. Work. Work.
Starting point is 00:00:57 Relationships. Family. Family. Keep going. Coronavirus. Yeah. Yep. All of those things.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Yep. Make sure you work through them today. Yes. Don't let anybody stop you. Amen. The world is. yours take it in grab it in your hand bottle it bottle it up bottle it up put it in an empty perfume bottle that you have used and you have saved probably because that happens to me i use by perfume
Starting point is 00:01:23 bottles i was going to say you save your empty perfume bottles they just end up sticking around because they're empty okay i throw my mouth take this energy right now the fake energy that i'm giving you that you can't really touch fist it your face you can see it right now you're holding in the palm of your hand You really just squished your hands at the giant fist. There's nothing in there. And open up that empty perfume model and drop it in. And then what are you going to do? You're going to spray that all over yourself.
Starting point is 00:01:50 Oh, my God. Wow. And you're going to walk out the door today. Yep, you're going to repurpose that. Yeah. And you're going to walk out the door today. And you're going to take that non-existent perfume that you sprayed on yourself. And you're going to use it as the energy and the power to get you through today.
Starting point is 00:02:09 to get you through this week, to get you through this life going forward. That could be the perfect description of Friday Energy. Friday Energy. Just bottle that shit up and spray it on you every day. Metaphorically and physically, like I said, get an empty perfume bottle. Act like you're spraying it on you. Friday Energy, should. This just made me think that.
Starting point is 00:02:31 We should. We should start selling Friday Energy perfume. You spray it on yourself. That's genius. This energy. It's like a placebo effect in your brain. Well, I hope whatever I just gave you was a placebo effect in your brain. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:44 And hopefully. I feel it. I feel it too. It was unexpected for me. I didn't even know I was going to say any of that before we started. It just started coming out of my mouth. But I'm feeling motivational, Fran. Great.
Starting point is 00:02:56 Great. I'm happy for you. Well, you're right. Yes, tell me why. I know what you're going to say because you already told me, but tell me again. The past week, I have been sitting in my bedroom. Yep. I live with Hank.
Starting point is 00:03:07 Yep. People ask me this all the time. I should probably just clarify that. Yes, we do live together. Hank is her boyfriend. Hank is my boyfriend that she lives with. That I live with. We've been living together since now I'm giving a timeline.
Starting point is 00:03:18 We just keep repeating. We just keep repeating. Although somebody did DM me, I'm not going to give the full timeline right now, but somebody did DM me and they were like, can you please give me a timeline of you and Hank's relationship? Make a story of about me. Yeah, story of about me and Hank. That it's too long to get into right now.
Starting point is 00:03:34 We've been dating for three years. I could just sum it up at that. Yeah. But we moved in together in the sub. summer. Meanwhile, we were kind of were living together before that. Yes. But anyways, we have to get into that. Yeah. I'm sitting in this bedroom of hours and I'm looking around and I'm just like, you know what? This just isn't it. The aesthetic is off. It's cozy. It's cozy. I feel cozy in my bed. Yeah. But I don't want to stay in here for hours and hours and hours. I don't want to
Starting point is 00:03:57 live in this room. I feel that way about my room too, but I also keep thinking like I will eventually move out, which is just the worst way to think about it. I'm like, why would I change it? I'm going to move out eventually, but that happens for most people who are not, like, living in their permanent home. But it's fun to change things up. I felt as if I'm going to be here for a while. No, you have an amazing apartment and you should stay there for as long as a question. Exactly. I'm like, I'm going to be here for a while. Yeah. Let's change the shit up. Yep. Okay, Hank, let's change the shit up. You give me the keys. I'll drive it. I'm speaking in a lot of metaphorical terms today. But anyways, I'm like, listen, I think I just have to change this room. I think I have a
Starting point is 00:04:38 vision of what I wanted to look like in my head. And if you just let me take control of that, I'll do it. You don't have to worry about it. Just give me the okay. And he was like, yeah, sure, I don't care. Do what you have to do. So I have redesigned my entire room. I already switched things around. I moved my bed, you know, feng shui. Thinking about a king mattress? I took that out of the. Oh, that's out. That's out. Yeah. Because more things were purchased. More things were purchased. I was thinking about that. I was like the king bed plus everything else. Yeah, no. So last night I went ahead and I bought a new 50-inch TV and a fireplace. I don't know what came over me. I was laying in bed. And all of a sudden, I had purchased a TV and a
Starting point is 00:05:19 fireplace for my bedroom. You just needed like a nice shag rug because when you told me all this, immediately bound chick-a-w-w-wow-wow. Like I feel like that's what you opened your door. It's just place. Yeah. I was about to say something that was just so cringy. Like on a timer. Yeah. You open the door? This is my makeup on the microphone. Oh, it is? Now that I feel like sometimes when I'm talking and I go back, my chin hits the side, definitely
Starting point is 00:05:47 is. Okay, that makes sense. I thought it wasn't, but it is. Okay. It's confirmed. It is. Yeah, I was going to say, like, when somebody opens up the door to my room, somebody just says, it's sexy time.
Starting point is 00:05:56 No, I don't. But you're right. It has these bowel chikawa-wow-wow feelings. And it is. And the lights. Did you say the lights? Oh, I didn't talk about that. I bought these LED lights that are like,
Starting point is 00:06:06 blue and green looks like space in your room. And I brought two big pieces of art that also kind of look like space. It is the most vived out room you will ever see. I am so happy about it. And that's why I feel motivated. And that's why I'm feeling motivated to motivate other people. Yeah. Because if you're laying around, you're feeling lazy and you just need like a kickstart. Like I think, like I think lights that are with that color are are calming. Yeah. They are. So that's why I kind of picked out. I bought the lights first. So then I kind of decorated my room according to the lights. I went with blue themes, a little bit of gray.
Starting point is 00:06:42 It's just I feel better already. And I think that if you needed something to motivate you, this is it right now. Because sometimes you think something in your head. Yeah. And you're like, I'm going to get to this one day. I'm going to get to this one day. And you just never really get to it in weeks and weeks go by. And finally it just hits you like a truck, which just happened to me.
Starting point is 00:07:02 Yeah. Just get started. Get doing whatever. you had planned in your head get up whether it's going to the gym whether it's redecorating a room whatever it is just do it as shy elabuff would say hell yeah love it i was just thinking of what why i thought about the room with the calming the calming light and it is from gray's anatomy oh in the hot what a weird connection what a transition i know right the sisters are hanging out in mac yes maggie's blue light room there is like that's why i thought about it damn calming room but a room full of blue light to see if
Starting point is 00:07:34 if it has an effect on patients vitals. Oh, I remember that episode. Yeah, see? Look, what a transition. I'm going to be so chilled out when I come into work. I won't even be able to speak. It's going to be like I'm on permanent Xanax because of my room. Very, very calming.
Starting point is 00:07:48 But I did want to mention Grace Anatomy. Yeah, this is a great transition. It really was. Phenomenal stuff. Okay, I'm going to say this first. If you watch Grace Anatomy and you're still watching and you haven't watched recently and you're planning on watching so you don't want things ruined
Starting point is 00:08:08 do not listen to what I have to say. Good call. Because I do not want to get in trouble for spoiling anything talking about this. If you haven't, I know people saw obviously Justin Chambers has left the show. The episode just aired of what would you know, the sendoff for Alex Karev.
Starting point is 00:08:25 I have not missed an episode of Grace Anatomy. I have continued to watch week to week. I started so long ago. I've rewatched from the beginning on Netflix multiple times. I've given a lot, a lot of hours to Grey's Anatomy, a lot. And I still watch every single week. So I'm going to talk about this episode now.
Starting point is 00:08:44 So if you don't want to hear me talk about it, just, you know, hit the fast-fowar button a few times. All right. I think they got the point. Okay, I know, but sometimes you got to really nail at home or else I get in trouble. So Alex Corav, he's been gone the last two episodes. The whole thing was that he was in Iowa, visiting his mom and this, you know, shout out, Trent. Yes. and now
Starting point is 00:09:04 I will tell you Alex is married to Joe and he has he has supported her through so much so much ups downs her finding out
Starting point is 00:09:17 bad shit about her family her like going into depression her having to be put into a facility for recovery he has not left her side just been like beat up that guy yes correct
Starting point is 00:09:29 Noah still watches Grey's Anatomy which I love and it's been crazy. His character development from the beginning has been one of my favorites because he's grown into like this really great guy dedicated husband and he's been gone for the last few episodes and it's like okay we found out that Justin was leaving and that his last episode had already aired
Starting point is 00:09:49 so everyone was like how the hell are they going to write him off and he basically just wrote farewell letters which is kind of back when you know when Izzy left but he wrote farewell well letters to everyone and basically he found out that izzie who's been played by katherine heigle who you know it's been decades since we've seen izzie she's been living in kansas she gave birth to
Starting point is 00:10:15 alex and her children they had twins and he didn't know and then he found out and so this whole time he's been in kansas and he's never coming back that's it he's gone he's living in kansas with izzie and his children that he didn't know he has but now he has them and he's just just leaving everyone. Meredith, he's leaving. Joe, he's leaving. Sianara, he's gone. I'm pissed. Yeah. So I... I'm so mad. I propose the idea to you that, number one, maybe the reason he got this right off, because you had said to me, you were like, this guy who's such a good guy. How could they just end his character this way so that now forever, when people think of him, they're like, wow, fuck him. he left. Whatever. Maybe something went down between him and the writers and the, and the
Starting point is 00:11:02 the producers of the show where they were pissed at him. And they were like, all right, fuck him. We're actually going to write a shitty storyline for him to end this. Not given like enough notice of wanting to leave. And they're like, they got to figure out how to write him off because now he wants to leave. I don't know. I don't know the backstory of it. I guess because Izzy left the show, it kind of just fits.
Starting point is 00:11:22 Yeah. And Ellen Pompeo, who, you know, obviously plays Meredith Gray, was, she wrote on her Instagram that she thought it was the perfect ending for Alex, that he, it's a, an homage to the past seasons that we haven't really gotten to hear about in the newer seasons and that Alex is returning to this time and, you know, that she really liked it. I'm like, I just think it's kind of bullshit because the Alex Greve that they built for seasons upon seasons now recently would not have just deserted Joe like that. Like he would just wouldn't.
Starting point is 00:11:56 I cannot believe that he would have just been like, you know what? I'm out. But would he have? I guess that's the power of Izzy, which. is just so annoying. Well, Fran, I'm sorry that you're so heated on this Friday afternoon. I needed to just like get those feelings out about it. Noah is shaking his head as well.
Starting point is 00:12:11 He's like, I can't believe. No, are you pretty disappointed? I feel like, yeah. I haven't watched the last couple seasons, but that's pretty fucked up. Yeah, even I know who he is. And I was shocked. He was also. I mean, like you said, you'd rather him die.
Starting point is 00:12:26 I did say that. Yeah. She didn't say it on this show, but she didn't say it earlier. Wouldn't you be more sad? Yes. But that, like, sometimes those are just, like, it's heartbreaking. They were trying to spare you, like, killing off a favorite character. No, but I, I would rather, um, what's the saying?
Starting point is 00:12:44 You'd rather, uh, you know, die, or live to be a hero or die. Oh, you live long enough to see yourself become the villain. Yes, you live long. You're right. So, like, if he just died a hero, then I would have, oh, my God. If he was just, if he had just died a hero. I would have liked it better because now this storyline is like, yes, he is still alive, obviously, but he left Joe. And now I'm sure Joe is going to have to go through so much shit on the show of her husband, just up and leaving her.
Starting point is 00:13:14 She's had so many problems. They should have just ridden her off with him. Right. Like, now what does Joe do? Like, she has gone through so much and now Alex is just up and left her. So it's, I know. And people were asking me like, well, what do you wish would have happened? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:13:30 A death would have sucked. like those those ones you just move past like when derrick died it was awful and i was so sad but like it made it worked like you can never imagine derrick leaving meredith like that would have never happened so here we are guys i'm not pretty upset about it but the show will continue to go on it's been going on forever i doubt it's going to end anytime soon i don't know what else do or say besides console you i'm here for you i'm here for everybody else going through this hard time Thank you. We will remember Alex Grave forever. Remember him as he was. Exactly. Not as the person now, leaving. Yeah. Okay. All right, guys, we have to get into today's topics. We have a lot of Demi Lovado content on today's show. She's back. We know that. She released a new song and music video called I Love Me. We also have Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber on Ellen. Demi Lovato filled in for Ellen while interviewing Justin Bieber. I cried throughout the whole thing. It was great. Katie Perry is pregnant.
Starting point is 00:14:31 Britney Spears' son had a interesting Instagram live that we need to talk about. We also talk about the second season of the Hills, including Misha Barton, maybe leaving. And we have Caitlin Bristow on the show. I can't call it an interview because it's a roller coaster.
Starting point is 00:14:47 It's an interview slash just a conversation. We had the best time. Make sure you listen to it. So let's get started with Demi Lovato's new song, I Love Me. We're looking through all of these magazines, telling me who I'm supposed to be,
Starting point is 00:15:05 way too good a camouflage. Can't see what I am, I just see what I'm not. I'm guilty about everything that I eat. Feeling myself is a felony. Jedi level sabotage. Voices in my head make all my entourage. We have a lot to talk about with Demi Lovato. She has a new music video out,
Starting point is 00:15:28 But guys, before we do that, people say you can't put a price on a good night's sleep. Starting point is 00:16:57 of course we are so happy and ecstatic about this we love demi lavato we love the song and the music video is really great it's something i wasn't expecting although i did kind of expect her to you know look back and reflect on her life because the song is i love me and we know that this is like has been a challenging thing for demi levato knowing the past things she struggled with so the music video did make sense there was a lot of flashbacks that she's walking by but it's all about loving herself and moving past those times. Yeah. I think it was,
Starting point is 00:17:31 it's a great song, number one. Super catchy. I really like it. Let's play some of it. She's strutting down the street in the music video, and that's how you want to move while listening to this song. Right. I woke up this morning and it was exactly what I needed to get on the subway.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Like when I'm still. and when we kept listening to that, it's like that. Just really gets you going for the Friday morning. It totally is. And I really love. Or Monday morning you're listening at this time. I really love the music video because I feel like, and people were kind of like, oh, is this throwing shade at certain people?
Starting point is 00:18:30 I don't think so. Like I think she really took this idea of where she, in order for her to love herself in the past, she's needed love from other people and support from other people. And now she has learned to do it. that herself, to love herself first, to put herself first. So it seems like, you know, she walks by two little girls that were maybe like her Barney days, her and Selena. And then there's like pop star with security. Then there's Camp Rock. There's literally her character with the Jonas Brothers kind of around her. And then one moment where total Jonas Brothers walking right past her and
Starting point is 00:19:10 she kind of just turns around and looks and like watches them walk away. An ambulance. with a girl being put into an ambulance and she kind of just like touches the girl in support. There seems like there's like a Wilmer and his fiance kind of character. She's in what looks like sort of a wedding dress and they're like running off into the distance. So it's just like I feel like she's just closing all of those chapters in her life and moving on to this new self, which is great. And also kind of sat at the same time because I know obviously everybody knows how much I love the Jones brothers. and the George brothers and Demi, their friendship was one of my favorite things.
Starting point is 00:19:51 And it was really sad to see that kind of all fall apart. Right. I wonder if they'll ever reunite. I don't think so. It doesn't look like it, especially in this music video, she's looking back on them. Once again, I also don't think it's throwing shade. No, I don't either. It's just she's moving past these things in her life that all made up the person she is today.
Starting point is 00:20:09 And that's why she's referring like, I love me. I love the things I went through. I look back and it's all who made me who I am today. One thing that's missing, Sunny with a chance, are we ever going to talk about that? It's not on Disney Plus. She never talks about it. Give us Sunny with a chance.
Starting point is 00:20:26 It's a time that she has clearly blacked out of her head. See, what I think with Sunny with the chance is that it may have been probably... Those are some of her darkest days. I was going to say maybe one of the darkest moments in her life was when she was on Sunny with the chance. With the timeline she has given us. She hasn't said those words, but if you put two and two, together. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:45 It makes sense that signing with a chance doesn't get mentioned at all. Right. Exactly. Although like I want to watch it because I did like signing with a chance. So did I.
Starting point is 00:20:53 Sterling Knight. Oh my God. We are just too similar sometimes and also very different but too similar also. But no, it's true. So it is like it is sad
Starting point is 00:21:04 but I think as a fan of the Jerome's brothers and a fan of Demi you just kind of have to support both of them and that they're like going to be separate and have these separate lives because it's, I think she looked for, I think she got a lot of validation
Starting point is 00:21:19 from them and from that, her past management. And it was toxic. It was bad for her. And she's realized that and she's moved on. And, you know, the boys are all happy. She's happy. So it's, it's like, I can't really like be mad about it. Yeah. And sometimes, you know, some people are like, oh, why can't they like reunite and patch things up? Like, sometimes you just, you just, just can't. There's stuff that happens between a friendship or a relationship. Just too much happens. You guys can forgive each other, but you're not going to be close friends again. There's no ill well, but you just like, right. Like, we don't hate each other, but we're not good for each other. And I think that's where the Jonas brothers and Demi Lovato stand. Right.
Starting point is 00:22:01 You just respectfully keep your distance at this point. Right. But I am, I'm just so happy for Demi Lovato, especially because it just seems like she's so happy now. And she's just moving towards a better place than where she was, obviously, in the past. We saw her with Justin Bieber. Yeah. And she went on Ellen on her own too, like when Ellen interviewed her. And that was heartbreaking because Ellen brought up like how when she was battling this eating disorder that her management team was just so controlling and that they would call ahead before she was on Ellen and make sure that all like sweets and any food that they knew like could be a trigger for her that they just took it all away. like that they just had and she talked about it she said like I felt like my whole life was
Starting point is 00:22:48 kind of controlled and it sucks because I mean those are the people that still work with the Jones brothers like you know it's but who knows it obviously different experiences could totally be different people same thing with when we talk about Scooter Braun and Justin and Taylor Swift everyone is different and Demi seems to absolutely adore Scooter Braun like absolutely she really she's only said really nice things about him like she talked to to Ellen saying like spending her birthday with Ariana and Scooter and just like having all these people that support her is great and she still wants to make out with Rihanna. Yes.
Starting point is 00:23:25 Listen, we all want to make out with Rihanna. I think everybody on this planet would be okay with making out with Rihanna. Demi Lovato just really wants to make out with Rihanna, specifically maybe make a song and also make a music video where they make out, which everyone would be okay with. Right. It was very funny. Like Ellen said, oh, totally. had said like oh the last time you were here we did like a would you rather with celebrities and she just
Starting point is 00:23:48 kept picking riana for like every answer and ellen was like so did anything happen from that she was like no like riana you can still call me like let's do a song let's do something riana she's right out to demi okay just do the right thing now two times yeah i mean it's two times now she's publicly saying she wants to make out with you maybe blow her a kiss on video or something the two of them the two of them doing a song together would be unreal oh my god i'm just waiting for Rihanna to put out music in general. So let's not, let's not jump the gun and start
Starting point is 00:24:18 saying Demo about on Rihanna. Like, let's just have Rihanna put out music. Baby steps. First. Yeah, baby steps. But Demi also guest hosted the Ellen show and she got to interview Justin Bieber and yeah, you did cry like pretty much the entire time. Yeah, I didn't even visually
Starting point is 00:24:34 see it. I just listened to it and I cried the whole time. I just, the two of them and they both mentioned it how they have similar past. childhood stars. They've been through the, you know, through basically everything you could think of. Like, they just have done it all at such a young age. And now they're both in a place where they're feeling better and healthier. And they really came through the other side. And Justin had mentioned that he learned, like, not to run away from the pain because Demi asked if he would be doing anything else. And he was like, no, I think that would be going against what God thinks we should, like, we should be here to entertain.
Starting point is 00:25:12 And running away from it makes the pain stronger rather than doing what we're here to do. Face it, conquer it. It was really beautiful just the two of them because like you said, they have both struggled in their own ways but also in similar ways. And they have come out on top and they're feeling good. And they joked about Justin and Haley having an arranged marriage. Yeah. Which if you think about it. Yeah, I mean, Stephen Baldwin wanted Haley to marry a pop star.
Starting point is 00:25:42 Yeah. And it was just like, look at this very, with Christian values. Right. Look at this very nice boy and his mother and they shared the same values as us. And wouldn't it be great at these two crazy kids fell in love one day? And they did and they're so in love. I mean, Justin and Haley are so in love. So if anyone's still doubting them, just get out of here. You got to see these two. Every time I hear, Justin, he can't stop raving about her. Demi also mentioned how wonderful of a person Haley is that she just appears. She called her a guardian angel that was. ever the best compliment. Whenever Demi is having a bad night, somehow Haley appears and just makes it better, which is so sweet. You know what I also really loved? Because Justin's been doing a lot with Ellen all week.
Starting point is 00:26:24 When the burning questions, when she was like, how many kids do you guys want to have? And he was like, however many Haley wants because it's her body. I was like, oh, yes, Justin. Respectful king. Yeah. I've actually never heard that answer from somebody. To be honest, like, when's the last time you heard
Starting point is 00:26:39 somebody answer it that way? Because sometimes people are like, oh, you know, I don't know, maybe three, two, one, whatever they want. But the way he said it, it's her body. Respectful king. Justin, I want to shake your hand and tell you great job. Well, too bad you can't. Nope. Damn, and we're just to end it on that.
Starting point is 00:26:57 You roasted me. The hell out of me in heaven's where we could be. On the edge of love, I never took the leave. You took my armor off and did it. Katie leave. I want to show you it's underneath. Thank God that you are men enough to come answer
Starting point is 00:27:31 my mama's prayers. You ask the question I said yes, but I'm scared. Katie Perry announced that she is pregnant with her first child with Orlando Bloom. Honestly, this is, it's real. This is a real congratulations. Yeah, we need it.
Starting point is 00:27:51 I know we joke about Katie Perry, but congrats because that's great news. I don't think our podcast listeners know about our Katie Perry past. You don't think? I think the people who watch the Instagram videos from the very
Starting point is 00:28:07 beginning know the Katie. Definitely talked about on the podcast though, no? A while ago, though. When she killed a nun. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But that's been a while. I think if there's any new listeners picking up, they probably don't know our Katie Perry past. But that's fine then. We're just congratulating her and we wish her the very best.
Starting point is 00:28:22 Yep. Moving on, that was our Katie Perry PSA. Let's move on to the next topic. Very pretty music video. Yeah, great stuff. Listen, I love to online shop. It was, it was not good because look, we are two people who have dug deep into the free, oh my goodness gracious.
Starting point is 00:31:10 What is that? Watching porn on your computer at work, Fran? That's so inappropriate. No, that was my computer doing, I don't know. know. I'm kidding. And the, we, like I said, we've dug deep into the free Brittany movement and the control situation and what's going on. Now, it seems like Britney's son Jaden is 13. He's been staying with Kevin Federline. He was asked like, oh, were you going to see your mom anytime soon? He's like, like in a couple weeks. He lives with his dad, had the best thing to say about his dad.
Starting point is 00:31:45 He's like, his dad. My dad's like, Jesus. Like, he's the nicest guy. Like had the night-Fetterline. The nicest things to say about Kevin Federline. But I think we... Let's play the video because everybody should just hear it one time for themselves. When are you going to visit your mom, Brittany? I'm going to visit her in like a couple of weeks because I'm with my dad right now. I'm doing pretty good.
Starting point is 00:32:17 How do I feel about that? for you, Brittany. I don't know. Have I seen my mom? Yeah, I saw it like two days ago. What's going on with my mom? I'll tell you guys
Starting point is 00:32:35 the whole story for my mom and stuff if I get 5,000 followers on my Instagram. How can we support your mom? Well, I don't know. No. Because like, I'm trying to do stuff.
Starting point is 00:32:58 But, like, they're all, like, over me or whatever. Is your grandpa a jerk? Yeah, he's a pretty big dick. He's pretty fucking gay as shit. You can go die. Are you getting trouble for doing this? No. I mean, my dad doesn't care.
Starting point is 00:33:19 I have the best dad ever. My dad's literally Jesus Help your mom break free See That's what I'm trying to do But I think if like Where's my dad? He's downstairs somewhere Is your mom being controlled
Starting point is 00:33:37 You're releasing me Um actually I haven't seen her doing a lot of music at all No dude actually I don't even know I remember one time I asked her What mom what happened to your music And she was like I don't know honey I think I might just
Starting point is 00:34:08 quit it. I'm like, what? What are you saying? Like, do you know how much bank you make off of that stuff? Like, God. Okay. So, clearly, he does not like his grandfather. He said he can go die. Yeah, so this makes me believe that the things we're hearing about him controlling Britney may be true. And that Jamie Spears is just an awful person. Right. And if the son is going around saying that he wants his grandfather to die. Right. You've got to be a piece of shit to have your grand. grandkids hate you. Right. Who hates your grandparents? No. You love your grandparents no matter what. You love your grandparents. Your grandparents love you. You really have to be a piece of shit for your grandkids to be like, I hope my grandpa dies. He can go die. Yeah. That's insane,
Starting point is 00:34:53 which makes me to believe that there's more stuff going on. Yeah. He's a pretty big dick. Yeah. Huge dick, one might say, to add on to that. It's crazy. Yeah. So it must mean that there is definitely stuff we don't know about, which makes me so sad for Britney Spears. My sister had texted me the other day and she said the two biggest disappointments of her childhood are Aubrey O'Day and Britney Spears. She's not disappointed in them for a say. Yeah, yeah. She's just disappointed
Starting point is 00:35:19 as a whole because these are two people she absolutely loved growing up as did we. And it's just so sad to see what is happening in Brittany's life. It's just like two heartbreaking stories. Yeah, it's very heartbreaking. I feel that way about Amanda Barnes. Yeah, they just look so different. that you could tell there's something not right.
Starting point is 00:35:40 And it makes you so sad, especially for Britney Spears. I mean, it's Britney fucking Spears we're talking about. If this was, I mean, it's just crazy to think that it's so sad. People are controlling her life. Her son is saying she, he wants the grandpa to die. Yeah. We really, and we've said it from the beginning. We just want Brittany to be okay.
Starting point is 00:36:01 I know Jaden had talked about if his mom was going to even make music anymore and said that was like the part where he was like, I don't know, my mom's told me that, you know, she might not. Like, oh, honey, I think I might quit it or. I'm sorry, but it did make me laugh when he was like, you know how much bank you make on that stuff? Like, yeah, she knows. He's 13 year old.
Starting point is 00:36:24 But is she making it because Jamie might be taken it. Right. Like the whole thing is so messy. It's not in the video, but TMZ had wrote that. I guess he had also said like when I get 5,000 followers. I'll tell you guys even more. So go follow him. It was tough, but I think the parental controls have taken over.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Like Kevin Federlian was not happy about this. His attorney told E-News that Kevin was not happy to see that, and he is addressing it as you would expect a responsible parent to address it. According to his lawyer, Kevin understands Jaden was acting as if he was a 13-year-old, but expects better from the teen. We wouldn't anticipate seeing any further post. posts like that again. So this is probably the first and last Instagram live we hear about from Jaden. Yeah, unless he somehow sneaks out of the house and gets a different phone and goes on
Starting point is 00:37:18 Instagram live somehow. But even just getting that little bit of information just gives you an intel of what's going on in Britney Spears's life. Right. And it's just really sad. Right. And I mean, Jaden's older brother. And remember like when there is that story that, not a story, it happened, they say it happened where Jamie and Jaden's older brother got into like a fight. Like it was like they had gotten to like a physical fight. So I'm sure that's part of the reason why he really hates him. And also the fact that I guess he just like he said, he's a pretty big dick. I can't like that is that's just going to take his word for it.
Starting point is 00:37:55 I know that some people don't want to believe a 13 year old. But if you're if you hate your grandpa. I'm more willing to believe a 13 year old on Instagram Live who is just like has no filter and is. talking out of his asshole kind of like he doesn't actually not because it's all the real things that he's not supposed to be saying. Right. Like exactly. Like I would believe
Starting point is 00:38:14 If he's like yeah my grandma's a pretty big dick like yeah I believe that. Yeah. Confirmed. Yeah. Big dick. Not He doesn't have a big dick. He is a big dick. Yes. Thank you. Season two of the hills is coming back. I didn't finish season one of the hills honestly.
Starting point is 00:39:12 Did you? I did. I can't tell you what happened. But I did. Okay. I know that I watched all of it, but I don't know how it ends. It wasn't that dramatic. I think that season two will probably see more about Brody and Caitlin. Yeah, season one ended with a little bit more Caitlin Brody drama, like more with the group. Like they, people were weird about the arrangement that Caitlin and Brody had.
Starting point is 00:39:41 Like some of the other women, Jason's. wife was talking about how like, oh, and they have like an open marriage or whatever. And like that, that was all kind of coming to the, to the surface. So I'm sure. I mean, there's a divorce. There's like Miley Sire. I would assume there'd be a lot in season two. And because of that, apparently Misha Barring got the axe cut.
Starting point is 00:40:05 Too boring, they said. So is that definite because Misha Borton posted on her Instagram. She's out. the headline from Us Weekly, and it was Caroline DeMore, I think that's how you pronounce it, joined season two of the Hells revival. Misha Barton will not return. Misha wrote on the caption, LOL, where do people get the reporting from? As if anyone would watch Caroline DeMore try to hawk her boring-ass past of polls and greasy
Starting point is 00:40:31 greasy pizza on TV. Try that it was like watching paint dry. Get the story straight first at Us Weekly. Yeah. Damn, Misha Barton's going off. So I guess this girl who I really don't know too much about Caroline, she was big in that early 2000s socialite scene. Kim Kay, Paris Hilton used to be like in that crowd sort of. TMZ wrote she is the air turned DJ and one time Tinsletown socialite.
Starting point is 00:41:06 So every outlet yesterday kind of put this out that Misha Barton was not coming back for the Hill Season 2, like TMZ wrote production sources say she's too boring. That was that's basically what everybody said, that everybody's slated to come back to the show except for her. This was her
Starting point is 00:41:23 this was Misha address. I mean, she didn't really address it per se. I guess she was just saying that the news that Caroline was replacing her was false. I don't know. But then she
Starting point is 00:41:39 she commented on the same post again saying nobody knows what's really going on slash is going on behind the scenes and I just can't stand false reporting nothing bothers me more so this is what everybody's saying and Misha is saying that it is false false reporting I'd like to know what the right reporting is because if everyone's reporting it and it seems like she is going to be on the show then what is not or is not I like maybe she's not going to be on, but she's mad because they're saying it's because she was too boring. Maybe she, like maybe Misha
Starting point is 00:42:15 would say that it was for other reasons why she's not going back to the show. Maybe Misha didn't want to go on the show anymore. Maybe she was done with it. She did it. She didn't want to do it again. But then why wouldn't Misha say this is the real story? I don't know. She decided to take a hit Caroline in her pizza empire. So, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:42:33 But when I read the cap... You know who else would be offended by that? I read the caption and I really just laughed. try to hawk her boring-ass pastibles. The fact that she just She just went in on this girl that I assume she knows. I think they are friends. I think they are friends.
Starting point is 00:42:49 They're not friends. They're definitely not friends. Or we're friends in the past. I would say when somebody writes that about you, you're definitely not friends. But they probably have known each other from the past at some point. Like you said, she was big in the 2000 socialite.
Starting point is 00:43:06 And Misha Barton was big in that time as well. So it would make sense that they know each other. But it looks like Misha Barnes out on the Hill season two, which I'm not surprised by. I actually think that I saw this coming. I feel like she didn't fit in with the cast. We even saw that
Starting point is 00:43:21 in our interview. You know, I hate to say this about Misha because she seems like a very nice person and it's nothing against her personally. It was that it just didn't seem like she meshed with the rest of the group and it kind of felt like everybody else felt that way as well. I remember when we
Starting point is 00:43:37 out the video of us interviewing them and Misha just looked miserable and so many people were commenting and even Brandon and Brody were commenting, you know, Misha. And then clearly isn't having any of these jokes. Right. The way they made it sound also was that she, you know, really didn't like filming and it was hard to get a hold of her and have her in the group settings and whatnot. So I guess that's it for Misha Bard on the hills. Maybe. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:44:05 She says false reporting. Maybe she's coming back. Maybe she is coming back. But that's what I don't get. Is it that Caroline's going to be on the show that's false? Is it that Misha is not going to be on the show that's false? Nothing's really clear because Misha didn't give us a full statement in her caption like Stephanie Pratt would.
Starting point is 00:44:20 She just took a swing. I thought Stephanie was- Swing at Caroline. I thought Stephanie was not coming back. We obviously knew that was a ploy to get more money. Come on. Oh, I'm not coming back so that the MTV has to offer her more. So that she stays.
Starting point is 00:44:33 Yeah. That's what they got to do. Makes sense. Yeah, of course. Didn't Snookie say the same? thing. Isn't she on this season? Yes, she did say she was done, but I feel like they filmed. Oh, this was filmed before she said that. I feel like it was, I think this was all filmed
Starting point is 00:44:47 before she said that. Yeah, that's true. And then she was done after that. Yeah, well, I'm excited for The Hill season two, actually. I feel like I will watch it just to see what happens with Caitlin and Brody have been hanging out recently. I saw. So that's something to keep an eye on. Maybe it was a quick breakup that they, you know, I feel like maybe they, maybe they, you know, I feel like maybe they just needed some time. Who knows? Maybe they just had like one last freak out about being committed for the rest of their lives and then got that out of their system.
Starting point is 00:45:19 Yeah. You know, Caitlin. Maybe. Who knows? Who knows? Hooked up with Miley. Brody. He hooked up with probably everybody.
Starting point is 00:45:24 And now they're back. Maybe. Who knows? I'm sure by now you guys have downloaded a delivery service on your phone to make sure that you don't need to leave your couch. You don't have to go to the store to get dinner, lunch, whatever it is. It just comes to you. But you need to get the right delivery app. I have dealt with delivery apps in the past before that just mess up every order. They'll say my order delivers, but yet it never comes. And then I'm paying extra for guaranteed deliveries that I'm not getting that guaranteed
Starting point is 00:46:13 delivery. It says it's going to be a half an hour, but it's not a half an hour. It's honestly BS, one might say. But that is not the problem with DoorDash. Starting point is 00:47:29 order with DoorDash. We are here with a very special guest, the one and only Caitlin Bristow. Thank you for joining us. We were on your show last week, so thank you for having us on. It's been a little while since you've been on our show. We've moved offices, we've really upgraded. You really have. It's chic in here. Yeah, it's really nice. Sheik is generous. It was the first word that came to my mind. You don't think it's very chic. Same what you really think it is. It's an upgrade.
Starting point is 00:47:58 After we'll walk you around the other corner and you're like look at our desk and shit, you'll be like, okay. Okay. Yeah. But I mean, this is a way nicer set up. The entrance I could say probably does look chic. And it's legit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:08 It is legit. That's the way to describe it. It's legit. There's a way more, I mean, the radio studio is like you could look inside of it. There's podcast studios. It's just way bigger in general. So what's going on. Thank you for coming.
Starting point is 00:48:20 Thank you for having me on yours. Who won our bet, by the way? Oh, so I... Okay, so I'll explain because if, for those listening, if you didn't listen to us on Caitlin's podcast, you should go do that first and then come back. But we made a bet about the women tell all. I believe we said an over under on women crying.
Starting point is 00:48:42 Yeah. I think we said it at five. Five hours. I think it was five. Five. And Caitlin and I took the under. Ria took the over. And this is what I'll say.
Starting point is 00:48:52 We would have been winners if they did not include the Rachel Lindsay cyberbullying segment because that put it over the top. I was actually supposed to be doing that with Rachel, but I was in Buffalo. Oh, wow. Yeah, okay. But I'm really glad she did it on her own because she did a very good job. But I feel like you would not have been able to be that serious. Like Rachel was so serious.
Starting point is 00:49:16 And she had a tear that shed. And I was a beautiful one. It was. It was a really beautiful one. single tier. Yeah, I wouldn't have done as good of a job as shit. I just wouldn't. But yeah, no. Because I'd be funny all the time. So if I'm out there reading like the punk ass comments, I'm like, yeah. Yeah. Well, so then I guess we could talk about this. Like you won. I counted it was about like seven total. Right. I won because of the bullying. Right. Segment. And although that was, no, what I was
Starting point is 00:49:47 going to say was, although that was very sad, I thank you for doing that. Yeah. Because I won. You owe you $50 each. Yeah. Okay. Send me your Venmo. Okay. I'll do it now or I'll also forget. I actually don't have Venmo.
Starting point is 00:50:02 You liar. You just said send me your Venmo. I know. That's how I was going to get out of $50. I was back to say this. That was your idea of Venmoing money. What is that about? Well, because I had a fraud, somebody like hacked into my.
Starting point is 00:50:15 That's okay. I don't really need the $50. Oh, I thought you're going to be like, I don't need your story. No, no, no. Save it. Yeah. Save it, Caitlin. I just like to win in general.
Starting point is 00:50:24 I don't need like a tangible prize. Just the feeling of winning is good enough for me. That is so me. I went to an Oilers game the other night against the Predators and they won 8-3 and I was just so happy because everyone says Edmonton sucks all the time and they beat the Predators and I was very happy.
Starting point is 00:50:38 Yeah. Sometimes you just get competitive. I understand that. I send you the Venmo. Very competitive. So I feel like you could at least expect the money for me. I'm going to send you the Zelle. Although it feels wrong.
Starting point is 00:50:47 I don't want to accept your money, France. Well, it's too late. I already sent it to you. Yeah. No. No. You owe me money. Yeah, $50 could really get you out of a couple jams.
Starting point is 00:50:58 Yeah, $50 is can go a long way. That's for sure. But there was that and then... I'm getting a good dinner tonight. Not from Postmates. No, no, no. What was the second one? We had a second bet.
Starting point is 00:51:09 Yeah, we had two bets. And I can't remember the other one, which is maybe we were just a little... I do not remember either. We were just a little two tipsy at that point. There was one that was like, all I know is that it was winner, loser. buys drinks. It was if Chris Harrison was going to nail it home with Victoria and ask about home wrecking.
Starting point is 00:51:27 And I said he wouldn't. And he did. No, he did. No, he did. He was like, okay. Right. But he still asked and he was like, and he was like, okay, thank you. You're like, I even just sitting here with you.
Starting point is 00:51:37 Like he was so nice to her. What are you guys talking about? He was nice to her. Okay, well, he still asked. Yeah, he did. We knew he was going to ask. That's true. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:45 Fine. That one just gets. You can win that one because that was like we owe you a drink and that's, I owe you a drink. And that's, I owe you a drink. Oh yeah, you gave it to me right now, so that's cool. Exactly. All right, Caitlin, let's talk about your life a little bit. And then we'll talk about Bachelorette and whatnot.
Starting point is 00:51:59 First of all, right. Kind of on a serious. Yeah. But we wanted to ask about your like home being okay, the tornadoes. Oh, my gosh. That was insane. It looked really quite scary. It was, first of all, we didn't realize how scary it was until the next day,
Starting point is 00:52:13 until we saw the damage and how bad it was. We were like, whoa, that's like just absolutely devastating. It was just unexpected. Like there was no, it wasn't like a storm warning. Yeah. It was out of nowhere. So we were at the Euler game. And then we went to this little, it's an actual trailer in Nashville that has karaoke.
Starting point is 00:52:32 And it's like always decorated in Christmas lights and everything. It was so much fun. And so we're there and we order pizza and I'm eating pizza and everyone's like, you got to get out of here. Like the music shut off and it was just like very abrupt. Like you got to go now. And so we left and we're like, this is weird. The sirens are going off. like their tornado warnings.
Starting point is 00:52:52 And I was like, I've been through this so many times. This is not serious. And so Jason and I went home to the dogs. Yeah, yeah. But whatever. So, and then I'm reading all these updates on Twitter. And I usually follow this account that tells me like, oh, yeah, it's, you know, no tornado has touched down or whatever.
Starting point is 00:53:08 This one was like, take cover, find shelter. This is not a drill. Like, this is happening. And so we went and, like, sat in the bathtub because I don't know if that was. So is that what you do? No, I always heard the basement, but although we don't, we live in New York, so we've never really had to seriously deal with it. There's no basements in Tennessee either. Like no, no one has a basement even in our houses. Right. Bathroom is where you're supposed to go. And there's no windows in the bathroom. So we went there and I fell asleep in the tub. And then I thought, we thought it was done. And we went upstairs, went to bed. And at like 3.30 in the morning, I'm still checking. And then it was at that point hitting, we're at an Airbnb right now because we're redoing the floors. And at that point, it was hitting our neighborhood. And so I'm up not even falling asleep because I'm like, is my house. okay, I don't know. Our house is all okay. Some houses down the street or not. Yeah. It's awful.
Starting point is 00:53:55 People lost their lives and businesses and it was just the damage was crazy. Yeah, I couldn't believe it. Yeah. It was really was. Like when you see those videos of like the next day I was looking at all the all the videos of like the people that actually captured the tornadoes, they were huge. Huge. And people don't think that happens in big cities. Yeah. But it does. And that's It's happened to Nashville before. And I think for people, like I'm from New York, France, from New Jersey, like you hear about tornadoes. And you really don't think it's like a real thing. Because it's something you see in movies and you just hear about it.
Starting point is 00:54:30 But it actually is. So praying for everybody. There's so many places you can donate to. And it's actually on the link in my bio right now on Instagram, places you can donate. And everyone's coming together and doing some really nice things for the community. So, I mean, that's one plus to take out of it. That's the best thing you can do. wanted to ask obviously about that.
Starting point is 00:54:50 Yeah. So let's get into some fun stuff. Yeah. What's going on with you and Jason? Okay. So last time we've told, we told the story before that me and friend think we kind of had something to do with your relationship. The first time Jason came on, we talked to him about you.
Starting point is 00:55:04 And then when you came on, we talked to about Jason. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. When we left doing your podcast, our, you know, the publicist who works here for Barstle was like, I love Caitlin and Jason. We were like, we did that kind of.
Starting point is 00:55:18 She was like, what? We explained the whole thing. We were like, we love telling this story. Yeah. Meanwhile, they probably never even talked about us, like when they first started talking. It's okay. I wanted that ownership. We did.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Yeah. No, we did. Okay. Even if you're lying to me right now, I'll accept it. But what's going on? How's life? You guys live together now. You got two great pups.
Starting point is 00:55:37 Yeah. We're obsessed. Doing some renovations at the house. I'm getting ready to go. I felt like such a boss today because I put a tour bus on my credit card. Wow. I was like, am I like, am I like, I asked my friend Bailey.
Starting point is 00:55:49 I was like, am I allowed to say that or is that really cocky? No. You can say it because you should be proud of it. I'm so proud. I got a tour bus and I'm going on tour for the podcast. So Jason will probably come for a little bit of it. He has his own things going on too. So yeah, we're just, we're living and having a really great tour bus for the pod for a podcast tour is so fun.
Starting point is 00:56:09 It's pretty gangster. Yeah, I was going to say that is so much fun. I'll get over it in like a week though. I'll be on and be like, get me off of this bus. But yeah. That's awesome. Yeah, it'll be fun. I want to say like, I don't.
Starting point is 00:56:18 want to get too cocky, but if we ever do a podcast store, we should put in that there needs to be a tour bus. Yeah, that should absolutely be part of it. You just find some people to sponsor it and get it all wrap. How do you, do you love doing the live shows? I do. It's really fun. We're very nervous about it.
Starting point is 00:56:33 We've been approached about it a couple times and every time we're like, I don't know. I don't know why I'm nervous about it. I think I'm afraid of failure. Talk to me. Yeah, I guess I'm yes. I am 100% afraid of failure. I think we both looked at each other.
Starting point is 00:56:49 We're like, what if nobody comes? They would. Everybody would come. I also, like, I love entertaining people. So I don't know why I have this fear because I would love to be in front of random people and act like a comedian. Me too. Me too. I think that's great.
Starting point is 00:57:01 Oh, I like think it's my moment up there. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. But there's something. So I can like do that in front of strangers, right? But when people I know are there, that's when I get nervous. So it's like if I can make a deal that nobody I know will come to those shows. Just don't.
Starting point is 00:57:17 I just say doing a live show, friends and family, you're not invited. I get nervous around my friends and family. Strangers, I'm like, I'll never see these people again, probably. I see really inappropriate things on the live shows because I edit some stuff out. But I get really inappropriate and my mom came to a show. And that's fine because she's pretty inappropriate too. But like thinking about my dad coming to show or some people that I know, like I say some weird stuff. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:41 Yeah. But you guys would do so well. I'm not worried about like my parents will, they don't care what I say. Yeah. They don't care at all. You just get nervous. I get nervous. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:49 Just because I'm like, oh, they know me personally. So, like, they'll have more judgment towards me rather than, like, I don't really care what these people.
Starting point is 00:57:57 That's what I'm saying. Like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm going to invite all my friends and families that I know that people will be in the audience. Yeah. You guys perform in every single person that I have met in my own life.
Starting point is 00:58:09 We do get people all the time being like, we really want you to do live shows. So it's something we're thinking about for sure. We're definitely thinking about it. You guys are idiots if you don't. Would you come on our. on our live show? Of course I would. Yeah. See, we'll hold you to that.
Starting point is 00:58:20 Booking guests on the show. Yeah. We're holding you to that. Because I feel like that's a really kind of how you got it to it or a fun way to do it. Because people who do the podcast. Like you do it too. You have guests and friends. You guys are lucky though because you have each other to banter with. That is true. That is true. Like if I go by myself, I need to book a guest. Yeah. And I would like to take credit right now and right here for Blake Horsman being a DJ all of a sudden. Right. He's a he booked with a DJ gig. He's like signed with like a DJ people.
Starting point is 00:58:50 Yeah. I don't know. Just from doing your shows. Yeah. He, I mean, I'll say, he really did. And he's good at entertaining the crowd and he really gets into it. But his transitions need some work. Okay.
Starting point is 00:59:01 Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Well, now he's going to get the reps in. He's going to be like touring. I'm serious. I'm like, I need to like, you know, I did that. I created that monster.
Starting point is 00:59:11 Wow. That is so funny. When does your next tour start? It's going to be in May, no, April's first. April, April, April, mid-May. 20 shows. Wow. No, it's a summer show.
Starting point is 00:59:25 We're making it a summer show, and we're calling it Tropic Like It's Hot. Oh. Love a good pun. You were really proud of that. I love that. I was like, wait for it. Yep, here it comes.
Starting point is 00:59:36 Traffic like it's hot. Pony, one might say. Yes, that's me. I wish I didn't say that either. I could tell you regretted that as soon as you say. You're like, punny. Yeah. I just never usually say that.
Starting point is 00:59:48 Yeah. I feel like I also indulge in some puns sometimes and you're always like, Fran. I do dabble in some puns myself. Yeah. That's fine. It's fine. We're going to happen sometimes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:59 Well, I appreciate the drop it like it's hot. Yeah. Thanks. So you're going on tour. Yes. Any other things in the pipeline? New Spaded Sparrows coming out with the tour. When will we get some?
Starting point is 01:00:12 As soon as it comes out, I will send. A pace your way. It's delicious. And what else? Scrunchies, all the. Same stuff. Same same. But yeah, Jason and I are just,
Starting point is 01:00:24 we're really thinking about moving to a new house. I thought you loved your house. I love my house, but I started doing some shopping around Nashville, and there's some really, really nice houses that I think. And I think I want to make my house into like a bachelorette party Airbnb. Right. Like have people that come to Nashville,
Starting point is 01:00:44 and they know my house because they see it on Instagram and they'll have like the Off the Vine room and then we'll make one room like the other team. No, but I like money. Okay, okay, so fair. I was going to say like, holy shit, you trust a bunch of like 20 girls. I don't live in your house.
Starting point is 01:01:00 They have to sign so many things. They have to pay if they fuck something up. Yeah, exactly. More money. If you want to get drunk and fuck up the house, go ahead. Knock down a wall. See if I care. I'll get $20,000 for that.
Starting point is 01:01:12 Thank you very much. Yeah. That's actually a great idea. honestly, my sister is getting married, so we're going to her bachelor party in Vegas and we booked an Airbnb that was literally right off the strip. And I just feel like that's the way to go with Bachelor, Bachelor at parties. It'll be so fun.
Starting point is 01:01:27 Do you have any Vegas tips for us? Oh, boy. I've never been. Oh, boy. She's been, but not 21. I've been as a child. Oh, yeah. So, like, we're really going like the first time ever.
Starting point is 01:01:37 My parents just dragged me around the casinos. Oh, my gosh. Okay. And we have like three days jam packed morning tonight. Oh, yeah. Okay. Oh my gosh, Vegas tips. You should have prepared me. I could have come off the whole list for you. My parents go to Vegas every year too, so they've given me some tips. Do you like gambling? Love gambling. Oh, you do. I'm at her not so much. My family, huge gamblers. Really? Yes. Okay, I love some blackjack. So, um, I don't have any tips. Baylor, I don't have any. Just shout them out. Have you, I just love it. I just love it. I just love it. I just love it. I just love it. Get a wax. Oh, that's a good one. That is a good one because bikinis. That actually is a good one.
Starting point is 01:02:19 That's also just like what you should do anyway. I also think like, yeah, because you're in bikinis the whole weekend. Yeah. And I just remember it because the first time I ever went to Vegas, I was 21 and I got my first Brazilian wax. And this Russian lady was waxing me and she was like so aggressive. And I was like, okay, I don't think I could take anymore. And she goes, no, no, you will regret.
Starting point is 01:02:39 And like, it was so aggressive. And then I went to text my girlfriend. and for some reason I typed her number in because I just knew it, I don't know, this was a long time ago. I typed it in and I put, just got a Brazilian wax and I'm heading to Vegas. And I typed the wrong number and some woman responded and said, I'm not sure what that is, but have a good time.
Starting point is 01:03:00 And then she came back and said, oh, just Googled it. I think you will have a good time. I was like, oh my gosh. So that's why waxing comes to mine in Vegas. Do you have a Vegas tip? That is so funny. If you're hungover, get an IV drip. We just call this one.
Starting point is 01:03:13 Oh, like, changing. I'm on that already. Trust me. My sister was like, that's like the number one thing you need. Oh, that's a good tip. Yeah. Okay, IVs. I don't know what it is about, do you guys drink Red Bull ever?
Starting point is 01:03:25 Don't do it there. When I drink sometimes. Don't do it there. There's something in the air in Vegas and it mixed with Red Bull, you get like full anxiety. Moistizer. That's a great. That's a great tip because I probably would have gone in on the Red Bullacas if I was. Don't do it.
Starting point is 01:03:40 Okay. That is a good tip. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:42 Okay. Okay. Because I feel like the IV is a good shortcut because I've realized now once I was starting to get really bad hangovers, like debilitating hangovers. And now like if I'm out like right before I go to bed, I do like a liquid IV or something of that sort in a full water bottle. Chug it, go to bed. And I wake up feeling great. Really. And it's really been actually helping a lot for me.
Starting point is 01:04:09 And this is not an ad. Yeah. I was like a big. you off to the side because I didn't know we had in the liquid I'd be ad. No, they're all kind of interchangeable sometimes, but like, like, Pedialite, they have the packet wines like I do that or whatever I have handy. I don't remember to do that. Last night I should have done that. I know. If you forget, then you're screwed. Okay. You said something happened last night. Let's talk about it. You were fucked up. Yeah. I was so fucked up. I seriously. I saw the Instagram story of you
Starting point is 01:04:37 dancing in a bar that seemed like not a bar that people dance at. Yeah. Or a restaurant. It was definitely just me dancing. And I was. was doing my old cheerleader routines for everybody and nobody cared. But, okay. Feel that. So last night, what do we do for? Oh, we went to the Knicks game. I don't even know who they were playing.
Starting point is 01:04:54 I definitely was not paying attention. I was, we had like a nice, somebody invited us to their suite. So we were like, food. No, yeah. When you get, when you're going to a next game and you're in a suite, like you're not really paying any game. There was a candy bar. Yeah. So anyways, had some tequila, went out after.
Starting point is 01:05:10 And so Bailey's on. Briah. Okay. Which is for anybody who doesn't know the dating app, but you have to be like somebody. Bailey is also, Bailey is also Caitlin's friend. Let's just, for all those listening, everyone's like, just to go off the street. Who is this Bailey they keep speaking up? Right.
Starting point is 01:05:29 I guess we should acknowledge Bailey. Bailey's my girlfriend here with me. And so she's swiping and who shows up. Nick Viles is in the vicinity. Is that the word? Yeah. Yeah, the vicinity. And I was like, shut up. He's in the radius of your. I was like, shut up. So we sent him a video of her swiping and seeing him. And he was like, what are you? He was right there. And so funny. And so we had to drink with him. And it was just so, it was just, what are the chances? He doesn't live here. Yeah. He was on that, on your dating app. You swiped and saw him and he was there. Like, we're like, oh, hey. Have a drink. That's hilarious. I also have to ask now because obviously you're cool with Nick. And Jason's cool with Nick. Were you nervous the first time that Jason and Nick were meeting?
Starting point is 01:06:17 No, because they were friends before I even met Jason. Right. Like, I remember seeing pictures of Jason and Nick in Vegas. And I was like, oh, they're friends. Okay. But yeah, so now it's funny because we're just all, we're all three friends now. Yeah. We chat and hang out.
Starting point is 01:06:31 We were at a podcast awards for IHeart podcast awards. And the three of us were sat together. Like, it's just, you know, the bachelor world is so insensual anyways. Like, is that a word? Incessual. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:42 why do I keep looking at you? You're like me that you have to make sure everything's a word. Yeah. Every time I say something, I'm like, whatever, if that's the word. Yeah, because it sounds like I make it up sometimes. And sometimes I do make up words. Incestual. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:53 Incest. What? Incessual. Incestual. Yeah. Chul. Good job, guys. Incest.
Starting point is 01:07:02 When somebody hooks up with somebody in their family. Yeah. And the bachelor family is a family and it gets weird. And if I really started, you know, I've hooked up with it. around the wall. That's the world I live in. But it's the same thing. Like I'm pretty sure Jason's probably hooked up or made out with Bachelor girls before he met
Starting point is 01:07:19 me. Like it's just, it is what it is. And we, you know, it's been five years now. So. Right.
Starting point is 01:07:25 I was going to say, I feel like it's been a long enough amount of time. And maybe if you were in a different place in your life, it would be different. But I feel like you're in such a good place and Jason and happy. Totally. And it's like, we can all be friends.
Starting point is 01:07:39 Exactly. It's just, it's nice. I think for Nick, too, because he's like, finally, okay? It's not weird anymore. We can finally just be friends. Yeah, that is so true.
Starting point is 01:07:47 Can I ask about the marriage thing? What? Like you and Jason? Oh, yeah. I love how you guys say, Mary, no, how do you say it? Say it. Marriage.
Starting point is 01:07:56 Marriage. Well, hers is a little bit of like, marriage. Marriage. Marriage. She says marriage. I say marriage. Marriage.
Starting point is 01:08:04 Yeah. Anyways. Because you say, because you say, because you say away from this conference. How would you say, because it's marry. Mary. No, because you're saying like the name Mary.
Starting point is 01:08:14 Mary. I say Mary though, too. Yeah, no, it's Mary is the name. Yeah. Marry would be like marrying somebody. So I'm saying it wrong. Like if I was to say, if I was to say Noah's getting married, I would say married. Yeah, Mary. And not married. I can't even do it the other way. I'm like, I don't know. Listen. I think it goes both. I think it goes both ways.
Starting point is 01:08:39 but I do see that that's Mary. See, M-E-R-R-Y is Mary. That one is for sure Mary. Because it's all spelled differently. So, Mary would be M-E-R-R-Y. And now we have the talk board coming to. Let me explain. Mary, the name M-A-R-Y,
Starting point is 01:08:58 and then marry, as in, you know, when two people intertwine, M-A-R-R-Y. What a great description of marriage. How you describe marriage. When two people intertwine. Well, I didn't want to say when two people get married, because then you wouldn't understand what I was saying. When people intertwine forever.
Starting point is 01:09:16 They're all spelled differently. So they're all pronounced differently. Okay. In my opinion. Anyways. Anyways. What about the Mary situation? I mean, it's so funny because we always obviously talk about it.
Starting point is 01:09:26 One, because we're just at that stage in our life where I'm 34, not getting any younger. We live in a house together. We have dogs. We're like, you know, we're at that phase where we're obviously talking about it. Yeah. And the other day, what happened? Oh, I was in Buffalo. I think I, like, turned him on being in Buffalo and, like, I ate chicken wings for him and I don't eat meat. Well, yeah, I saw. Well, he looked so happy taking you all these places. Like, how do you say no? And his grandpa approved and, like, I think he was just feeling, like, really, yeah, yeah. And so when he left. Boys are like that. Like, you take, when a boy takes to their hometown and, like, you hang, you get along with all the friends, the family, they're like, oh, man, I love you.
Starting point is 01:10:06 Totally. And that's what happened. And so he. he, what did he say to me? He was like, well, I'm going to miss you. I'm like, I'm going to see you tomorrow or day after tomorrow. He's like, I don't know. And he goes, he was saying all the stuff and I was trying to sleep. And then I wake up and he's like, well, I looked at rings. And I was like, you did?
Starting point is 01:10:21 I'm going to send me a screenshot. And then I'm sending him. Then I'm looking up all the good ones, you know, and sending him. So definitely we talk about it. It will probably happen. Yeah. I mean, I have no pressure from me. I, I've never been the type to like dream about my wedding.
Starting point is 01:10:37 I've just never been like that. And to me, I'm like, well, I just want, I want it small. I would want my family and friends and like, that's it. That's usually who comes to you. But like really close family and really close friends. Very small. And Jason wants like a huge party. But I just don't, I think about having kids more than I think about getting married.
Starting point is 01:10:54 Yeah. Yeah. Well, as soon as he starts sending you that he's looking for rings, then it's fair game for you to be sending him rings all the time. Not all the time, but like you should be able to send. Yeah, he's the one who opened it. He also got so drunk on one of my life. live shows and said he was like a total like proposed drunk on a live show i would die i would be like
Starting point is 01:11:14 no not here now but he was like so drunk and was talking about his bmdow and he's like i'm gonna get her a ring that's it's it'll be the biggest purchase of 2020 it'll cost more than my bn w and i was like wow subtle flex okay and now he has to do it and yeah well that's so the next day i'm like so remember what you Yeah. What exactly was the price tag on that PMW? Exactly. Because I know you're negotiating skills. That is so funny.
Starting point is 01:11:43 And because, you know, people have different, like, I love that you guys are kind of just doing it when it'll happen, when it's happened. Like, we had, um, we had Kevin and Asherd here before they got engaged. And it was so, oh, it was so funny. Like, we were like, so, guys, like, what's going on? And Kevin was like, no, I have a strict, like, I have to propose before she turns 30. And we were laughing. And she was like, it's not a hard thing.
Starting point is 01:12:05 she just said, I would like to be engaged before I'm 30. And I'm like, that's super fair. And it's exactly what happened. He proposed before her birth, like before the birthday. And it's just, you know, different strokes for different folks, as they say. It's also easier to talk about it alone. You know what I mean? Like Kevin and Asher together, it's like, okay, Jason's not here.
Starting point is 01:12:26 It's, we can ask you whatever we want. And that's always the next question, right? When you come off Bachelor World, because that's what we watch for on those shows. Everyone always get people get engaged at. the end. So it's always such a natural question for people to ask us that we're like, it's kind of made us think about it a little more because we're like, oh, I guess we should do that. Right, right, right. Meanwhile, you've only really been dating for what? A year and a half. A year and a half. So in real life. Right. But again, I'm 34. And if I'm with someone and know that,
Starting point is 01:12:59 you know, we know, it's probably, you're living together. When you know, you know, as they say. Yeah. I'm really full of cliches today. I just drop different strokes for different folks. I like that. What do you know, you know? I like that saying different strokes for different folks. Yep, that's nice. That's what I'm saying around here, I feel like that.
Starting point is 01:13:17 Nailed it. Way to go, Fran. Yeah. All right, so let's talk about this season of The Bachelor. Well, first, yeah, Bachelorette. Claire. What do you think?
Starting point is 01:13:26 Oh, yeah. Because we took so many guesses and we were wrong all of us. Did we guess Claire at all? No. No. Like, I don't even know who Claire is. The Claire rumors didn't start until after we. we recorded. I saw, I saw, like, Ashley I and, like, some people being, like, throwing Claire's
Starting point is 01:13:40 name in the mix, and I was like, what, this is at a left field. Yeah. I feel like she is, like, a Disney princess with an edge. Like, that's a great description of her. Yeah, like, she, does, like, do you know, I mean, I'm sure you know her kind of, yeah. Yeah, like, we chat. Yeah, yeah. Ria's never watched. I don't even know who she is. Like, Ria was like, I have no idea who that is. So does that make you're the first season I ever watch of anything? Really? Yeah. Oh, I didn't Not that? Yeah, maybe. I probably don't do that.
Starting point is 01:14:07 You didn't care of that much. It didn't mean much to you, but that's okay. No, I was, I was just probably drunk. But I just, yeah, she's like, I just want to find my person, but she's also like, but I'll send you the fuck home. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just think she's, it's going to be so nice to have, and nothing against your guys' age. I'm not age shaming. Oh, that's fine.
Starting point is 01:14:28 I'm in shaming my own age. I don't want to get married right now, so that's fine. I don't want to watch another 25-year-old not know what they're doing. I don't know what I'm doing. Right, which is kind of relatable, but it's, yeah, I just think we, they're going to take it back to, you know, we want a love story out of it. And enough with the stupid catty, like, immature shit. So I'm excited for it. I think she has, I think she's well spoken.
Starting point is 01:14:49 I think she's cheesy in the most perfect way for the show. And I just love that she's an older woman who knows what she wants. Yeah. Yeah. I'm into it. I think because in the past few seasons now, we look back, first of all, Peter season, it's not over yet, but we know it's a shit show season. disaster. Colton season, although Colton and Cassie are together, that really was kind of a mess.
Starting point is 01:15:10 They didn't get engaged. You know, they don't have to get engaged, but that was a disaster. Hannaby. Hannaby also a disaster. Becca's worked out because her and Garrett are together. Ari worked out in the end after the whole thing. So it's been three seasons since we've actually had because, you know, I think, what was it, Becca or Ari was the one? So, like, if you count Peter, Hannaby, Col.
Starting point is 01:15:34 So, yeah, three. And Ari's, that's what I'm saying they picked an older guy, somebody kind of who nobody really was talking about. And there was the drama, obviously. But at the end of the day, he still got married and, like, has a baby. I know. I'm so surprised they picked Claire, though. Not because she doesn't deserve it.
Starting point is 01:15:51 But just to me, she's such a random pick. Right. And if they were going to go with a random pick, like, if they had picked Tia, I feel like people would have been like, that's a random pick. Right. Like, this is extra random. Does it make you not want to watch because you don't know who she is. No, no, it makes me want to watch more.
Starting point is 01:16:07 Oh, perfect. Way more. Because I feel like everybody I've watched now become The Bachelor or Bachelorette. I've seen on past seasons and I, like, judge them from what I saw on that season. Like Hannaby, for example, I didn't love her on Colton's season. So when she was announced as the Bachelorette,
Starting point is 01:16:23 I feel like I unfairly judged her and I was like, I'm not excited for this. Meanwhile, she turned out to be an awesome bachelor. Like, she's the best. I'm such a huge fan of her now. So I feel like not knowing anything about Claire, and I feel like a lot of people are in the same boat as me. I mean, there are people in the same boat as you guys who knows who she is.
Starting point is 01:16:39 There's also people like me who started watching after who know nothing about her. And I feel like that's great because I'll just judge her based on what I see from this season. And I'm already excited about her from what I'm hearing. You know what I mean? She's older. She's seriously looking for marriage. I played the video for her of her like shutting down Juan Pablo. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:58 Yeah. Oh, I'm all in on that. Yeah, that was good. I remember that. That was great. And then her talking to the. raccoons on Paradise. I know.
Starting point is 01:17:07 I was like she was really the first person that they did that too. Because I thought I started watching Paradise from the beginning. I didn't. I started watching season three. Yeah. No. She was on the first one, I think. And she was on the first two.
Starting point is 01:17:20 But she also wasn't really on for that long. Like when they announced, I went back and looked because I was like, how? Because Paradise didn't work out for her love-wise. She actually left both seasons pretty early on. Yeah. So. And she's got a golden retriever. I mean, I think she is great.
Starting point is 01:17:37 And then I watched Winter Games. Oh, yeah. I feel like not a lot of people watched Winter Games. But she like got straight up engaged at the end of that. That didn't work. But I knew that was not going to work. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What do you guys think about the people who are saying like she's had her time?
Starting point is 01:17:53 She's tried multiple times and it clearly hasn't worked out. What do you guys think about that? Well, that's stupid because we've all had relationships that have failed and not worked out. Like, who's to say that doesn't mean the. the next one's not going to work. And hers are just on TV. And she has full control of this one. We're also watching a bunch of relationships not work and have people like,
Starting point is 01:18:13 you know, like, who cares if she's had her time? Like, good for her. Yeah. I think it's just kind of easy to like laugh at it and make fun of, right? Because like everybody makes fun of Chris Bukowski for going on the show a billion times. Right. He had a walker. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 01:18:26 And like Paradise, they made fun of it in like a funny way. But I, I, and it's also so. different because I'm like this is the first time that she gets to be in control. Like that's a whole different dynamic. There's a difference between on The Bachelor than being in Bachelor and Paradise where like you kind of know everybody and like now it's her turn to like get all the guys and see. And I'm excited for older men on the show.
Starting point is 01:18:56 Same. Me too. I'm not a big DILF person. Yeah. When people are like I love dad. Oh, our 30s. We heard some rumors. No, no.
Starting point is 01:19:03 We heard some rumors that like there's a lot of fathers cast. But yeah, the father thing has been a big thing, big rumors that there was already three or two contestants that had two kids. I also love a good divorced man. There you go. They are so, they know exactly what they want. They have learned from their mistake. But what if they're the ones that really?
Starting point is 01:19:24 Yeah. Like what if they like, I don't love a good divorce man. What if they cheated on their wife, mad. You love an actual good divorce man. Yes. One that's like learned his lesson and like has a good story to tell on the show. Like that's what I'm thinking. Or maybe his wife fucked him over and he's actually a really good guy.
Starting point is 01:19:46 Yeah. That's a good divorce man. Yeah, that's a good divorce man. Yeah. That's an attractive divorce man. Yeah. That's a really weird thing for me to say. Love a good divorce man.
Starting point is 01:19:55 What? I really made me laugh. I was like, what? Okay. Okay. Sure. And you'd think I'd have a lot to bad. it up with like there's nothing not really a lot no you haven't been with any many divorce men
Starting point is 01:20:08 never once actually never even seen them on the show no have there been any divorce men on the show just trying to do a thing yeah yeah yeah yeah I'm trying to do a bit here leave me right no but that's actually I feel like they're really has there ever been a divorce contestant then then yeah they're doing they're doing the show for um the girls have been divorced yeah yeah yeah Teach you, of course. Yeah. Whoa, I don't remember that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:38 Interesting. But they're doing the new. I got married really young and realized. I don't remember this. They're doing the seniors show. So maybe they're like going to take a couple Dilfs from Claire's season and pop them in the elderly one. How are they doing another show?
Starting point is 01:20:56 They've got the listen to your heart coming out, which I don't know if you saw the preview. But I'm on it. We saw it. We will be watching. Yeah. It looks so good. It looks so. good.
Starting point is 01:21:05 And we, like, we do our recaps with Trent every week. And we were saying last week, like, oh, man, like, after the finale, Trent, like, you're not yet. I know, but this is going to come out on Monday. I was like, good point. Sorry. I'm thinking now, not the future. Yes.
Starting point is 01:21:20 And so we were saying, like, oh, Trent, like, we won't be able to do this with you for a while because, you know, Bachelorette doesn't start until May. Then we were like, well, we can recap, listen to your heart. And then Bachelorette. I know. And then summer games. And then Paradise. like there's probably not a break for the next six months.
Starting point is 01:21:37 He gives us so much content to work with, you know? Like I do the recap so on my grape therapies and I'm like, perfect. Good, another show for me to recap. It's great. I'm actually very happy because then we would also, like on Thursday's podcast, we'd be like, okay, what's going in this one? And we usually put the bachelor recap and now we have all these shows to fill it. I wonder if he'll be the luggage guy for the senior edition.
Starting point is 01:21:59 I hope he's the luggage guy forever. He has to be the luggage guy forever. They need to fly him to paradise. Oh, yeah. I feel like that's a possibility. Of course it could be. They will. Totally could be.
Starting point is 01:22:10 Did you see him on the end? Of course he did. With the champagne. He was so happy. It was really cute. Honestly, the best moment in TV history. What do you guys think about the women tell all? So I wanted to talk about that.
Starting point is 01:22:23 That was the next thing. Okay. The woman tell all I thought was kind of boring. Yeah, I thought it was going to be a fire. Yeah, I didn't think we received any new information. Pete was on there for five minutes. There wasn't really any... I was shocked by that.
Starting point is 01:22:37 Peter got no heat. Yeah, it was shocking because we had seen McKenna put up Instagram stories where they went out and they put up the signs that were like screw Pete the Bachelor. What? I didn't see that. Yeah, they went to a club and they... The club brought out the big... Oh, hilarious.
Starting point is 01:22:51 Screw Pete the Bachelor and she wrote like, no hate, like whatever. But I just figured because of the season and what we saw from the season that they would have just given him a little more flack But it seemed like everyone was cool with it, which I take it as they're so over it. They want to be so done with this that they're cool with just being like, hey, man, it's cool because we don't even want you. Or he really is just like so nice.
Starting point is 01:23:14 And they're like, you're so nice. And you're just, you're so nice. And you just made some really stupid decisions. Yeah. I think that's part of it. I think everyone really likes him on production side. You have two golden retrievers. It's like when your golden retriever gets into the garbage and,
Starting point is 01:23:31 tears the whole thing and they just look at you and they're like and you're like oh I should be mad of you but I'm not I feel like that's how they all feel about Peter is a golden retriever he is he really is that's a good way to describe him I personally I know people are going to get mad that I say this I still like Peter I don't not like Peter because of the season I think that Peter and the girls both equally made mistakes I think that he was given very dramatic girls because they wanted a very dramatic season yeah I think that they were more more focused on that rather than focusing on let's find Peter love. Yeah. It was let's find Peter drama. Because they knew he was in love with Hannaby the whole time until the end. Yeah, I just,
Starting point is 01:24:13 and that's another thing with that goes back to Claire is I don't have to think about the fact that she loved somebody two weeks ago and now I'm watching her on this show. Because I always think people want to be like they just saw them all heartbroken and now you feel like you know them a bit and you're rooting for them to find happiness. So I thought maybe that's that was something that was. Right. would make people not want to watch Claire, but it's interesting here. We don't have to go through. I don't have to go through that weird, like, first episode of Madison or Hannah Ann being like, yeah, like I totally loved him, but I'm so ready to find love.
Starting point is 01:24:46 You know, like there's no adjustment periods, which is, which is great. But no, the women tell all was kind of, I don't know, it was fine. It was like, there really wasn't anything crazy. I feel like just because the season's been so crazy, they let things, like they just let thing slide. Like every contestant who's done something kind of bad, they were like, I also feel like we're going to be really let down with the ending. Like I know. I just feel like it's been, we said the same thing that it's been so hyped. Wait, did you see this, did you see this Kelly theory? Yes, I did. Thoughts. There's no way because he wouldn't, his, him and his family wouldn't go follow her
Starting point is 01:25:22 if she won because they'd be like, you can't do that. Like, that's too obvious. It's like they must just like Kelly as a person. And they're like, oh, we're all going to follow her. Yeah. And I said that I think that the producers now know where everyone's minds are at and they kind of plant seeds to make you think something's going to happen that's not like the producer Julie theory the next day they were seen out to lunch
Starting point is 01:25:43 with Julian and Peter's mom and then you know people thought oh because Kelly wasn't at the woman tell all all of a sudden they follow her so I think that they kind of feed into the theory so that it throws them off track but at this point in time what I think the ending is Fran as well we've come to a mutual agreement
Starting point is 01:25:58 on this is that Madison is going to leave. He's going to be stuck with Hannah-Anne. He's going to realize I can't be with Hannah Ann. And then he's going to go and chase after Madison and it's going to be, Peter doesn't even know how it ends because it's going to be, oh, Madison needs to tell him at the final rose how she feels. And if that's the case, I think that's stupid because they've had months of not interact with each other. Peter and Madison, oh, what do they have now? They haven't been talking for months. Oh, now she wants to be with him or now she doesn't want to be with him. What
Starting point is 01:26:28 does it matter now? It's been months since they've seen each other. show us some clips of like them meeting up in between from like the finale till the um no from like when she leaves to i think they'll show us little bits of but chris harrison said even peter doesn't know how it ends so what does that mean that's the one thing you have to remember because if they were going to show clips so i'm like is did they just make madison do they have that moment where madison and peter met and madison was like i have to think about it and then after that they were like all right now you guys aren't allowed to see each other until after the final rose. Like, can't talk.
Starting point is 01:27:03 Because what's crazy as they can control that. If I'm Madison, if I'm Madison, I'm like, Pete's hanging out with Kylie Jenner and all of her friends. Like, he's not thinking about me. Yes. He has been in their stories multiple times. And the Kardashians, Kylie and Kendall have posted stories watching The Bachelor. So they're legit friends with Peter and like.
Starting point is 01:27:24 Let me tell you, the Tyler and Stasi situation, which brought Dylan and Hannah into the which then Hannah became friends with them and then Peter hung out with them too so I think Peter became friends all them or was it just like for a minute? I would say that Peter is still friends with them probably. I don't, I think that
Starting point is 01:27:43 Hannah and Stasi are friends. I don't think that's in a story like a couple weeks ago. Yeah, yeah. I don't say he still wants Madison and that's the you know, if you're Madison watching him go out to all these nightclubs, you know, hanging out with all these people and do, especially
Starting point is 01:27:59 given her situation and her upbringing and what she wants out of like a partner yeah wouldn't you be like what are you doing yeah well that's what i'm saying i don't see how this is a realistic thing that could they turn out to be together in the end can you rewind to when you said that they can make that decision like if they're like mad if they're like mad if they're like madison peter you can have this moment to talk but now you can't talk until after the fire rose they can say that yeah and how will they know if they speak well they wouldn't i mean you definitely yeah yeah cheat the system but they probably didn't give them all the meetups that you usually get as a couple. Pete seems like a rule follower to me. He's such a rule follower. That's what they thought about me though, because I was like this
Starting point is 01:28:37 Canadian that came in and I was all nice and they're like, they knocked on my door when I was waiting to like go on the bachelor because at first when you get there, you stay in a hotel for three days before you even like have your night one. And so I'm in the hotel. I don't have my phone. And I don't think I was allowed to watch TV. And so they came in and they were like, I want to turn on the TV? And I was like, I'm allowed. And they thought I was like this innocent little girl that follows the rules. And then I was a shit show. Wait, so let's go back to that.
Starting point is 01:29:07 You're allowed to watch TV. No, that was in the whole. But not during the show. And you're not allowed to listen to music, right? No. Nothing. Okay. So we were trying to clarify that.
Starting point is 01:29:18 Until a certain point, then if you have a car ride somewhere, then, well, because you're mostly on camera for most of the time, so you can't be listening to music. But like if we had a bus ride to the airport. we could listen to music then. It's wild. That is, it really is. What's one of the weirdest rules you think that is? On the Bachelor?
Starting point is 01:29:40 Yeah, on the Bachelor. One of the weirdest rules probably, oh, there's so many weird ones. I mean, a funny thing that I always think about is everyone's always like, why is nobody in the pool at the mansion? But it's true. They crank the Crank Not the heat, Caleb They make it so cold
Starting point is 01:30:03 Decrank They decrank the heat That's not a word But it is now So then you don't take off your mic and go in Because then you could talk and not be miced Because they have someone Behind the scenes
Starting point is 01:30:18 Typing everything you're saying On the show Yeah Like the old ladies in the courtroom Yeah Wait really? every single person. Makes sense if you think about it
Starting point is 01:30:28 because then they, you know, they have to. That makes sense on why the closed captions, like if you watched with like the captions on it and they say stupid shit, like you're like, oh, that's exactly what they said. Right.
Starting point is 01:30:39 This season when the girls were like messing up words. Yeah. And like the captions were spelled out exactly as they said it. You're like, that even had a dash. Like, Panasco. Oh, yeah. Like a dash. Like a thin, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:30:51 It was so funny. Lingerie was like spelled out like that too. So funny. That makes sense because Love Island when they go in the pool and they take off their mic and they go in because you can't, I guess you can't hear them. Yeah. Also, another weird one is probably just that like you literally cannot spend time with the Bachelor of the Bachelorette unless it's on camera and miced and for a scene. Like as soon as it's like this hot tub scene's done, you can't hang out with them. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:18 Like it's like Caitlin comes with me. You go over there. Like you really cannot spend time with them unless. There's no like small talk when they take their mics off. No. All right. So I, okay, so I'm sure there are conversations that are filmed that we don't see, right? Because I was thinking that you guys were having conversations off air and shit.
Starting point is 01:31:36 But you're miced. There's conversations that are on air. They just don't get actually aired. Yeah. You are miced from like the second you wake up till the second you go to sleep and they like make sure you're not talking like in bed. It's crazy. That is insane. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:52 So to wrap it up, what are your predictions for the? Have they changed since the last time I talked to you? Well, why don't I remember what my prediction? I've changed them so many times. To be honest. It's so funny because I was doing a Bachelor recap with Jason and we were pumped because we're like, holy crap, we don't know the ending. This is the first time.
Starting point is 01:32:09 But now I'm like, I think they're just making it because they're like, well, people are freaking out about this. But I think it's just going to be the same thing you guys said. I think Madison's going to leave. I think that's who Peter's mom's talking about. I think he's going to be like, Hannah Ann, I can't just pick, you know, like. I think he likes her. I think he's in love with her, but I don't know.
Starting point is 01:32:29 You don't think he's in love with Hannah Ann. Come on. He likes her. I think he thinks he is. He is not in love with her. He's not in love with her. You're right. Okay, you're right.
Starting point is 01:32:36 You're right. He likes her. You're right. They have never. They have crushed on each other. That's what I was. Yeah, he has. I have never watched a season where I've been more confident with a final two of somebody
Starting point is 01:32:47 not being picked. Like there's always like, there's always somebody in my mind, like, with a final two. I'm like, I don't know. Like, maybe. I could see it. Like, you never know what could happen. Yeah. With this, I'm like, there's just no shot he picks in a.
Starting point is 01:33:01 And especially if he does pick Madison and like he's, now she's watching this back, like that's got to be really tough on her too. Well, he also couldn't. Yeah, there's no way. He can't. It's Madison or bust at this point. I gotta be honest, I think it ends up that Peter is single. I mean, that would make so much sense.
Starting point is 01:33:18 It would also make sense. It would also make sense on why they picked Claire to be the bachelor's right if they had two single bachelor, bacheloretts and bachelor in a row. And they're like, okay, we got to make somebody fall in love initiative. Yeah, somebody. And I think Claire easily falls in love.
Starting point is 01:33:33 Oh, I think that she is going to end with somebody. They're going to be in love. Yeah. And I'm honestly excited to see that because as much as I say, I love watching reality TV for the drama. I feel as if I have had enough on this season. I feel like I feel plentiful
Starting point is 01:33:48 for 2020. I'm good. Right. You've had enough. Like, well, we're going to get our fair share of it, no matter know what, but I would like to see a love story out of it, like a real one. Yeah, exactly. I think they know that too. That's why they're like, Claire, she's definitely going to fall in love. Yeah, totally.
Starting point is 01:34:02 Yeah. Okay. Caitlin, I don't want to keep you anymore because I feel like we are way behind schedule. I know. Like, Bailey, can you, yeah, it's been like an hour. We're good. Okay. Because I know you got, you have plans and whatnot.
Starting point is 01:34:17 But thank you so much for coming. I don't want to be done. I know. It doesn't have to. I was so excited for you to come because we were with you last. week. I'm like, oh my God, we're seeing Caitlin so much. I literally, well, first of all, okay, I have to tell you guys this. Okay. I am like the biggest Dermit Kennedy fan.
Starting point is 01:34:32 Yes. And I came here because I was like, well, first of all, I said that I would come back and do this. And then I was like, Dermit's there. Okay, Bailey's been trying to get me to come. And I'm like, okay, I'm just going to do it. And we get to meet him tonight. Oh, my gosh. I don't even know who he is. I just like, I have no. I couldn't know who Dermit Kennedy. not describe you Dermick Kennedy at all. I couldn't tell you
Starting point is 01:34:58 his hair color I couldn't tell you anything about it. It was actually very funny our CEO Erica came out came out she is notorious
Starting point is 01:35:06 for like making plans and then wanting to cancel them so she comes out and she's like anybody want tickets to Dermickett Kennedy anybody like
Starting point is 01:35:14 she's like she bought them for her husband's birthday and she was like I don't want to go anymore she bought them for her husband for his birthday and she's like
Starting point is 01:35:22 I don't feel like going so So we have one guy, Keith, who likes Dermannedy as a fan. So he was like, I'll take him. So now he's, now he's going. You guys, I always force people to like him. But if you listen to some of his music, you will be upset. I think I have a feeling I would really like it.
Starting point is 01:35:40 Genre. He's like a singer, songwriter. It's like a little combination of, do you know Vance Joy? I love Vance Joy. I've been to Vance Joy shows. Okay, he's like a combination of like Mumford and Sons. Maybe I should have taken the tickets for him. You should have. Mumford and Sons and Vance Joy is like a little combo.
Starting point is 01:35:56 What's your favorite Dermannity song? Outnumbered is up there. Okay. Let's listen to a one. Yeah. What's... Is this the popular? But wait, what's... Wait, wait. Noah, do you know Dermit Kennedy? This is outnumbered. Okay. You're not going to be able to hear it, but I want to listen to it. You can play it into the mic. Yeah. I'm fast-starring a little bit. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 01:36:19 Oh, it's a little at cheering life. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. He's Irish. Okay. So sexy. I love when you can actually hear the accent when they sing. I feel like sometimes with British singers, you can't tell that they're British. But you can tell that he has an accent.
Starting point is 01:36:40 No, I feel like this is up your alley. It's so good. You're a big singer-songwriter guy. This is where it gets good. Oh, I like this a lot. Yeah. I'm happy it's not country. It's not country, although I am a huge country fan.
Starting point is 01:37:00 Dermannedy could totally be a country singer That's what I was nervous of I'm not a country music dance I told Jason that Dermott Kennedy was my whole pass And then I said And I get to meet him So Did he approve of the hall pass?
Starting point is 01:37:15 Well I'm like, what's the point of having a whole pass If you can't actually do it? It's a whole pass. It's not going to pass here tonight Dermin's like, oh no I just assume he wants me to Is he single? I'm sorry Jason I don't
Starting point is 01:37:28 He's not single I'm not single. It's never going to happen. I just love his voice. Yeah. I mean, I tagged him in something and I'm a little disappointed. He didn't respond, but that's okay. He could big time me.
Starting point is 01:37:40 You have more followers than him. I know, but not for long. Not for long. I just hit 1.8. Oh, congratulations. It's so funny because people think you're up there and one of the most followed people from the show. But people think I care because of like popularity or something, but really I'm like business mindset.
Starting point is 01:37:56 Like I'm like, okay. I mean, hello, you sell things on your Instagram. I'm like, how are people who follow you, the better that is. Yeah, I'm not like, I'm so cool. I'm like, yes, business. Oh, yeah, he is cute. Yeah. Oh, I think followers in the same exact way.
Starting point is 01:38:08 I'm not like, oh, I need people to follow me. I'm like, this is actually just good for my job. And when people, you know, when the business team at bar stool looks at my insights, like they'll see I am gaining followers. Exactly. Yes, it's not about, yeah. It's not a popularity thing for me, Bill. Yeah, but a little bit about this.
Starting point is 01:38:24 But it does make me feel good. It's nice. Yeah. Wine's kicking off. All right. Well, okay. Thank you, Caitlin. for joining us. I hope you come back soon to New York
Starting point is 01:38:32 and I hope you have a great time at the Dermick Kennedy concert. Next time, we're going to have to hang out. I know you can't. We're going to, what's the place called? Zuma. Zuma? Where is that?
Starting point is 01:38:44 Oh, are you from New York, Bailey? She's Canadian like me. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Well, I kept saying you were coming to visit Bailey. I thought Bailey lived in New York this whole time. You guys want to come, we're going to eat dinner, but then some people are just going to come meet us for a drink after if you guys want to.
Starting point is 01:38:58 I would be interested. Okay. What time's the show? Take our tickets. We're Dermit. Oh my gosh. Here we got upgraded. No, but we didn't.
Starting point is 01:39:06 We told Danny she could have. Yeah, guys, don't worry. I don't want the Dermin Kennedy. Don't worry about the tickets. Like, if I'm going to be honest, I don't want the tickets. Yes, you do. Yes, you do. I already said no to the CEO.
Starting point is 01:39:19 Fine. Thank you for having me. Thank you guys. Thank you for having me on your podcast. Well, all right, guys. I think we can. I'm not going to lie for the last 15 minutes. I have been talking like we were not recording.
Starting point is 01:39:33 And then I keep making awkward eye contact with a camera. I'm like, are these recording? Yeah, they are. They sure are. Like on The Bachelor, I'd always be like, you can't do that. You can't look at a camera. No, it's okay.
Starting point is 01:39:44 Noah will cut all of those promos and just use those for the podcast, so that's good. Perfect. All right. Officially wrapping it up now. Thank you very much, Caitlin. Thank you. All right, that wraps up today's episode. We hope you had a great time listening.
Starting point is 01:40:00 We hope you are pumped for the Bachelor finale. Tonight, it's two parts. We'll have the recap on Thursday. Guys, it's coming to an end. So appreciate it. And if you're not a Bachelor fan, then get excited, except for the fact that there's a million more shows. Okay, everybody, have a great week.
Starting point is 01:40:16 We'll talk to you on Thursday. I gotta see it to believe it. Sky never looked so blue. So hard to leave it. That's what I always do. keep thinking back to a time under the canyon the world's happy waiting doors yellow broken blue
Starting point is 01:40:42 I heard Jenny saying go get the kids from school and I keep thinking back to a time under the canyon move I saw through Rome and I'm still thinking back to a time of a dozen conversations she plays songs I've never heard
Starting point is 01:42:04 I know it lovers hip in music pretends not to know the words and I keep thinking back to the time under the can I know
