Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners.

What's up, everyone?
It's Chicks in the Office with Brian Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Wednesday.
Happy Wednesday, everybody.
We are reporting to you live from Big Sky, Montana.
But don't worry, we have all of our Dancing with the Stars Takes.
We watched it last night, and we are ready to discuss.
but before we get into that,
how is everybody feeling? Noah, you got yourself,
Mike. Whoa.
Brand new mic, just so I could
talk about my guy Guillermo.
Just so you could defend Guillermo.
Yeah.
Just so everyone could hear those takes
loud and clear.
Loud and clear.
Maybe this will cancel out the
ambulance noises that always go by my building.
I think it'll help a lot.
Yeah, I don't hear any noises right now.
And you guys have brand new laptops too.
So if you're watching on YouTube,
they look crystal clear.
We are very clear.
Yeah, which is like, I don't need to look crystal clear.
You know, whenever I'm recording from home,
it's like I actually prefer to not look crystal clear.
No, you look gorgeous.
How are we feeling this morning?
Good.
We're in a beautiful location.
Like you said, Big Sky, Montana.
It's absolutely stunning.
The sun is rising as we speak.
The sun is coming up from behind the mountaintops.
maybe a deer will frolic past my window here.
It's just really stunning.
We're in a stunning place with a lot of fun people.
And everybody's just looking at,
you know what everybody just dresses right?
Like everybody just looks good.
Everybody is crushing it.
We're having a lot of fun,
a lot of laughs.
We had a great dinner last night.
Yes, we did.
And it's just good vibes.
We're going horseback riding in a couple hours.
So I am like, I'm flying high.
Like, get me on that horse.
I'm so excited.
Yeah, I can't wait.
We did have such a good time last night.
Everybody's so amazing and so fun and funny.
It's just a really cool group of girls, I have to say.
Like, we've just been having a great time.
It's been fun to be back with Bree.
We haven't hung out with Bree in so long, which was funny last night.
Fran goes, yeah, we lost you for a bit there.
She was like, yeah, you did.
But we've had.
We've had such a good time.
I'm looking out at this beautiful landscape.
Last night after dinner, there's these sidecars that will drive you to and from locations
on the resort.
But we were close to the restaurant that we were eating at, which is at the resort.
And Fran and I were like, all right, we're just going to walk back because we're so close.
Like, it's okay.
You guys hop in the car.
We're going to walk.
And the guy driving the car looked at Fran and I and said, I wouldn't do that.
We said, what?
That hesitation did not sound good.
He was like, you know, there's, there's bears.
Oh, oh, get us in a car then.
It was like, I thought we were close enough where like, okay, there's bears.
Like, you'll be okay, you know.
And then I was laughing because all the other girls were joking about.
They're being a bear lock on the back door of our rooms
because we're kind of in these really cool, like, individual cabins.
And there's a back door.
And they were like, if you don't lock it, it is possible for the bears to open the door.
Like they know how to, like they can move the handle and basically open the door.
And I was thinking there was some sort of like special bear lock because the way that the girls were talking about it made it sound like there was a particular lock.
And it was funny because one of the employees was knocking on our doors to be like, you know, because when the girls were in the car, they were like, oh my God, the bear lock.
we need to make sure it's on.
And so he was coming into our rooms and,
quote unquote,
turning on the bear lock.
And I was like, yeah, come on in.
That'd be great.
He just comes in.
He just locks the door.
I was like, oh, I could have done that.
That's really nice at all.
But why did the guy not come lock my door?
He went to everybody's cabin and he skipped me.
They asked.
No, he went to mine by accident.
Like he thought I.
Like two of the girls asked and I'm in between them.
Like I'm in between Zara and Bray.
And when he knocked at my door, he was like, you were asking about the bear lock?
I was like, I wasn't, but you're here.
So if you want to come double check, I'll take it.
Yeah, that's fair.
Suddenly I'm feeling like they don't care if a bear comes and gets me.
Yeah.
And look, I said from a safe distance, boy, would I love to see a bear.
But I wouldn't want to, you know, I get it walking on the, you know, walking by ourselves at night.
Right.
Not the time.
But if one happened to be like right outside right now, I would be, I would love that.
Me too.
Like if a little baby one hopped up on my deck right now, that would be awesome.
It would be great for the show.
If I turn the laptop around, there's a bear.
You don't want the baby ones anywhere near you.
Really?
The mom's going to come.
Oh, right, because the mom is close by.
Yes, they did say that.
if there's a baby one. Well, there was a baby one on someone's deck four nights ago. I mean,
we weren't here, but that's what they said. So, you know, you just never know. You never know
what could happen in Big Sky, Montana. But we are growing horseback riding today. It'll be my first
time riding a horse. And I have my jeans. And I'm feeling really dumb when I said the other day that
I didn't know people rode horses riding jeans because I think now, thinking about it, the only thing
I've seen is people ride horses with jeans.
Besides if they're in a horseback riding competition,
they're in those black riding pants.
Yeah, yeah.
But exclusively, Bella Hadid is always wearing jeans
when she rides a horse.
And that's my, you know, that's my reference here.
This is, yeah, my reference point is Bella Hadid
Kendall Jenner on horses.
And like Matthew McConaughey, like they're always in jeans.
So that was a really dumb comment by me.
And even if you just think about like cowboys, you know,
They're walking around in jeans.
And they got, and most famously.
You thought it was just a fashion choice, not like a practical thing?
I just wasn't thinking in the moment about anything.
And most famously, they got the big belt buckles.
Where's the belt going into?
They're jeans.
Obviously.
So yeah, I got my boot cut jeans and my red cowboy boots and I'm ready to ride.
And everyone keeps telling me that I have to go in fearless and really good energy
because the horse will sense it.
You don't need to be fearless.
You just need to be like respectable.
Head first, fearless.
That's me getting on the horse.
You don't think I'm going to be respectful to the horse?
No, of course I do.
That's what I'm saying.
I'm saying it's not that deep.
Like it's not like you have to be like, I'm not afraid of you.
No, I meant it more like, yes, I'm ready to ride.
You go with good vibes.
They feel good vibes.
Yeah.
I mean, I have great vibes.
now. I'm in my bow pajamas, you know, like I'm feeling really settled. I just had my coffee.
So I'm ready to ride and I'm ready for you to make fun of me because inevitably you are going
to be in your element because you are a horse girly. Yeah. You grew up a horse girl. I did.
You grew up a horse girl, a piano girl. You're, you're really well-rounded. You would have thought I was
homeschooled.
Like I really did a lot of things that like didn't need other people around.
Yeah, I'm really happy we met later in life because.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I don't think you would have fucked with me.
I don't think you would have fucked with me.
No, I would have thought you were very cool.
I would have just been intimidated by you.
Really?
Yeah.
No.
I don't think that.
I was very nervous around like cool girls for a long time of my life.
Oh, God.
You think I'm cool?
Yeah, I do.
Oh, I think you're cool.
So thanks.
I would have been intimidated by the fact that you're so well-rounded and I'm not.
Yeah.
Let's just go back and forth,
the compliment to each other.
That's why it works.
Actually, we were joking last night because there's another podcast duo here,
Danielle and Brooke, and they are sharing a room.
Yes.
By choice.
By choice.
They are sharing a room by choice.
I said, well, if only my co-host wanted to share a room with me.
Yeah, we're finishing.
up dinner,
he's like,
you want to come snuggle?
Like, no.
Like, I,
I'm,
we have our own rooms.
I'm good.
It's not that it never happens.
And it could on this trip.
I was just,
like,
I love coming back and just have it,
having my own space to decompress.
I feel you.
It is really nice
to have your own space to decompress,
especially here.
It's gorgeous.
You got to make use of the room.
I just thought that was like,
really nice friendship and co-host vibes
for them to like want to share a room.
And then I thought,
We don't travel together as much as we do.
Right.
And they did say that.
They're like, you guys are together way more than we are.
Which is true.
I can't remember the last day we were apart at this point.
Like if it was more rare that we were traveling together and we were like, oh my God, this is so fun.
Like girls trip, I'm down.
You're like, I see you enough.
I'm with you every day.
And then we've been traveling together a lot.
We did share a room in Vegas.
Yeah.
So I'm being greedy.
No, I, I, this is.
I do like having my own space as well.
You got those legs with you?
I did say to her at dinner at dinner last night.
I said, I will not be your legs.
And then she said, and it just felt rude.
She goes, if the bear wants to come cuddle,
I said, oh, so you'll let a big grizzly bear come cuddle with you,
but not me?
Rude, I'm a great cuddler.
But Fran and I have cuddled in the past.
It's not, I'm acting like it never happened.
And sometimes she tickles my head and my arm and we watch, you know, off campus or the summer I turn pretty.
So I'm just being greedy.
And I'm there if you need to be.
Like if you're like, hey, I don't feel so good.
Like, can you think you could come over a rub my head?
I'm there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
How far are your rooms?
Right.
Very, very close.
So close.
We are so close.
And the thing is, I don't mind sleeping alone at all.
Like, I can do both.
That's what it's all.
I just like the camaraderie.
Yeah.
But yeah, I got my pants on.
I had to sleep with my pants last day.
It was proof.
I put on my shorts,
pajama set,
and I was laying in bed,
and I was like,
I shut off my air.
And I was like,
what's the weather life?
It's absolutely stunning during the day.
It does, like, by the afternoon,
it's been getting quite warm.
I'll be honest.
My, like,
Franny's weather report for Montana is stunning.
we're here for for great weather where we're getting like like yesterday was almost too dare I say
too hot like in the sun it was in the 70s and everyone was like oh I brought cute fall clothes like
but right now it's 46 degrees so it drops but by the time we get back to like be hanging out
at the hotel it's going to be 65 and sunny like just goddamn gorgeous we got three days of all sun
not a cloud in the fucking sky.
And then when we leave, it's going to snow.
Like, it's going to snow here this weekend.
So we just, we snuck right in at the right time.
You're so right.
It really has been perfect.
I will say, feeling that cold air drop at night has been so,
it is so nice because we haven't felt cold air in months.
No, it's been a while.
It is cold here, I will say.
Is it?
It's like, like, this morning, it's like,
some lady in the elevator was like,
because I wore a t-shirt to go get a coffee.
she's like, you wore that to walk to the, I'm like, it's like 50 degree.
Like, it's not that cold.
That's sweatshirt weather though.
Yeah, it feels sweat-aweather.
Sweat-o weather.
It feels crisp.
It just feels so nice, though.
Like, we were in summer for so long.
I'm like, I need air.
I got to air out my pits.
I got to air out my privates.
I got to air out every part of me.
It's like, I'm too sweaty.
Just why, seriously, sweat is sweaty all the time.
I mean, you're, Noah, you're getting a back-to-back-to-back 10 for 10, New York Metro.
weather. Was it 10 for 10 to on Tuesday?
You gave a 10 for 10 yesterday?
Yeah. I mean it was great, but like 10 out of 10 today as well.
I want like this guy, his 10, he's got a lot of tens to give out.
Not really. Not really.
But I feel like like yesterday wasn't like a 10 day in my eyes.
Like it was not in your eyes, but in his eyes it was.
But like what if it was five degrees so warmer or colder? Is that a 10?
That would adjust. Why don't you store your own account and you can grade the weather?
I should compete with him.
You and Fran should have competing weather.
Honestly, that would be just funny to see the juxtaposition of like what we think a good day is.
Yeah, can we do that for like a week?
You guys just bold rate the weather on your own separate private accounts.
So funny.
So you can't see each other's account.
A monitor.
Yeah.
And then we'll come together at the end of the week and go through each day.
How riveting.
That's some good stuff right there.
Yeah, really.
All right, let's get into the rest of today's episode.
We're going to be talking about Dancing with the Stars last night.

All right, let's talk about dancing with the stars last night.
I mean, what a bummer.
I know we're going to go through the couples and the dances,
but I mean, we got to start off with the elimination because I'm so bummed.
I'm so upset for Sierra and Brandon.
Just not deserved at all.
I was shocked.
Absolutely shocked by this elimination.
I really was too.
And we heard it before.
I wanted the spoiler.
We were at dinner.
I wanted to see it was sent home.
When I heard that, I gasped.
I couldn't believe that it was them.
And then when we went and watched, they went first.
And just a great dance.
I feel like the improvement is there by like definitely her best dance.
She was getting great feedback from the judges.
She just seemed to be so happy with the dance,
which always sucks.
Like when you know who gets sent home and then you watch like how happy they
are after their dance and you know what's coming. I'm like, oh, that just really was so upset.
Here, we are in the vortex. Like, we are here. We're in the Thunderdome. Everybody buckle up.
Like this is, this is, we're back to where we were last season. Same kind of situation.
The people fucking love Guillermo. Every week they're putting Guillermo in the quote unquote bottom three.
I bet you he is nowhere near the bottom three in votes.
I had to guess he's like getting the most votes out of everybody.
But just because, you know, they're building up the suspense and they wanted to be like,
who is Guillermo beating out?
Like they want people to look and be like, oh my God, there's Guillermo.
We got fours.
And he's going to say and other people are like just the, the drama of that is obviously
going to put Guillermo in that position.
But seeing this was, I was very upset.
I felt like her journey was cut short.
But we are in it.
It's going to be very tricky now because people love Guillermo.
And I will say like I'm certainly not getting as worked up.
Let me say that the tide turned because everyone was mad at me when I posted that.
I voted for Gamma.
Like up until this week, everyone was like, oh yeah, we love Guillermo.
This week it was like, stop.
You're ruining this show.
It was all the Andy like feedback.
Well, we reach a certain point where it feels unfair.
Like, I don't, Sierra going home feels unfair.
And that's the point that we've reached.
But Guillermo's dances bring a lot of people, a lot of joy.
So. Yeah.
So I absolutely do not think Sierra should go home.
I felt like last night she, like, really stepped into herself as a dancer and had so much fun.
And it was her best dance yet.
Totally.
And I've been loving watching her.
and Brandon's experience on the show together.
So I'm so bummed.
I just think
she was not even close in my head
to going home.
Like, just a complete shock.
Now, when it comes to Guillermo,
his dance was so funny.
And that's the problem, right?
Like, this is the problem we're running into
is that his dance was really funny.
Yeah.
And now...
Objectively terrible, but funny.
So bad.
He was really not good.
And last,
week I thought he had improved from the weeks prior. This week, I can't say the same. I don't think
that his dancing did improve this week. I thought it was maybe a step back from last week's
or even the week before. But it was very funny. And absolutely, if you're going to go just based
off dancing, Guillermo definitely should have gone home over Sierra. Do I think Guillermo should
go home in general? I'm not fighting that fight. I don't know. But I don't know who I would put
in front of him to go home.
That's also the problem, you know?
Like, because then you just have to name somebody else.
But everybody is trying.
And also everyone.
I'm like, go sports.
Literally.
Everybody's trying.
And everybody is objectively better than Guillermo.
That's the thing.
Exactly.
Right.
We're just going dancing.
Yeah.
We're just at the point now where if you're just looking at skill level here,
everybody is improving.
and like you said,
the improvement was not really there last night.
The scores showed that too.
He got three-fives last week, I thought, right?
He definitely scored better last week.
Yeah, he definitely didn't get fours.
Guillermo got a 15 week three.
So I think he got three-fives.
Yeah, for the yacht rock, I think it was.
Yeah, I see 15 out 30, which I'm pretty sure it was three-fives.
So it is, it is.
technically regressing, right? Like his scores went down. And yeah, it's so tough. Like,
this is a situation we're in. I firmly believe as just a fan of this show for my whole life,
it feels like, that the judges save is the right way to do this show. It would be the most fair.
However, people don't give a shit if it's fair or not. So that's the dilemma. And I don't even really
think like dancing with the stars cares if it's fair or not because this discourse is is what
everybody loves because it gets people talking about the show so much more like if every week it was
like yeah you know the right person went home like it's just not there's not there's no
controversy there's no like nobody's Monday morning quarterbacking dancing with the stars
to say like that was wrong it shouldn't have been that person because normally the judge the judges would
save the better dancer and whoever got the worst scores would be the one going home.
And you'd be like, yeah, that makes sense.
And you sort of have a pretty fair competition show.
This is entertainment.
And what they always say and what we dealt with last season two is like, make sure you're
voting for your favorites.
They say it a million times, vote for your favorite.
And Guillermo is a lot of people's favorite right now.
I just, they just love what he's doing.
He is a, he's just, he's incredible.
incredibly entertaining.
Yeah, like,
like,
sue me,
but I enjoy watching
Geremo dance more than Sierra.
Like,
and that's just my opinion.
Yeah,
I mean,
listen,
you're entitled to your opinion.
Everyone's entitled to
enjoy something a certain way.
Yeah.
Although,
I would like to be on the record
that I disagree with that.
Yeah,
yeah,
it's,
and it's not just Sierra,
it's everyone.
Right.
So I,
but here's the thing.
I think it's funny
and entertaining up to a point.
And I,
I did think
Guillermo dance was
very funny last night. Did I watch it like four times? Yeah, I did. I really got enjoyment out of watching
the dance. But I would never say that he should be there over Sierra at this point. Like, I feel so
bummed for Sierra and I really feel like she, I feel like if you were to ask them both,
Sierra wants to be there more than Garumo does. I really feel that 1,000%. Really? Yes. I do. I do.
feel that way.
I mean, I think
Guillermo wants to win though.
No, no.
I think Guillermo wants to be there,
but I think Sierra,
if you were to really get them
in a room alone,
yeah.
I think Sierra wants to be there
more than Guillermo.
I think, yeah,
I agree.
I think Camero is having a great time
and he's having a lot of fun
and I think Whitney's having a lot of fun
and they're both enjoying this experience together.
I don't think
Guillermo would take
being sent home
harder than
Sierra for sure.
You know, like I...
For him, it's like,
it's like, you know, I had a good,
I had a great run.
He's playing with house money.
Yeah, he definitely is.
He definitely is.
I'm just, I got,
I'm just sad for C.
I'm sad for Brandon.
I just felt like, and he said it too
at the end of the show.
He was like, I'm just bummed because
it really felt like
Sierra was improving week to week
and it was there and they were
getting into a good rhythm and everything.
So it just, that's, it is.
Like he said, it's just a major bummer.
And yeah, it really is.
It's hard to argue with it not being a bummer.
It is.
And but on the other side of that, it's hard to, I understand.
Like, it's hard to argue with the fact that like Whitney being pregnant and Guillermo,
like it's a fun pairing and they're making a lot of jokes.
And Whitney's saying battle of the bellies.
Like, it's all very fun.
and yeah, entertaining.
Honestly, Guillermo's side,
it is very impressive that Whitney is dancing like that.
It very, very much so.
She is incredible.
Look, at the end of the day, there's like,
there's like, I don't know,
multiple of the other guys that are on this show
that I would have said could have gone home before Sierra,
like just of the male stars.
Yeah.
Yeah, you know, that's, like I would have just put Sierra high.
on the list. And it's not like borderline one or it's I I would have said above a few people.
Me too. Right. We don't got to sit here and name them but absolutely. No. No. Yeah. So I think we should
go through the dances. Sierra was Sarah did go first. So we kind of. And they opened it up great.
Yeah, I thought it was so fun. It was such a hot start. They got a score of 21 too. They had all sevens.
Yeah. Ezra and Daniela. Oh my God. Did Ezra look so handsome?
with his hair like that.
I mean, the whole fit was fantastic.
I'm forgetting what exactly the name of that move is
that Derek was like saying he was doing so well on in the Rumba.
But my god, did he nail it?
The hip action on that guy.
Like really incredible.
What a beautiful dance.
I thought he was maybe even deserving of a higher score, to be honest.
Because here's the thing, like after you finished the whole episode
and you see where other people score,
you're like, ooh, I almost would have put that dance even higher.
But because that dance is deceivingly.
Yes, his kukarachas.
I wanted to say like kookamungo.
They were beautiful.
So, and that, like a rumba is so deceivingly hard.
There was a lot of rumba's oscarat.
and it was really a great dance.
I really love watching him dance.
It's like just mesmerizing.
So good.
There's just nothing else to say besides.
They're just fantastic and they're going to the end.
They're going all the way to the end.
They're my front runners right now.
For sure.
Next up we had Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson.
Some lovely listeners told me that I have been saying it wrong.
So my apologies.
And I should know that because I'm watching the show
and I hear them say his name
and I still have been saying it wrong,
which is very rude of me.
So I apologize.
I feel like when Kylie Kelsey apologized
for calling Kate Middleton,
Princess Kate, Princess Catherine.
That's me with Harry Shum.
So Harry Shum and Jenna did tango to,
it's like that.
They got a score of 24.
And then they did have Amber Riley from Glee
come in and sick.
Yes.
So they really boosted it here.
Wait, I had a question for you guys.
Mariah Carey, people were talking about this,
didn't clear any of her songs,
like for Mariah Carey Night.
I mean, like in terms of like the original recordings,
is what people were saying.
Like, they had to do covers.
No, but that's how they always do it.
Like...
Really? Because didn't they play the real Rihanna song?
And they were like, wow, Rihanna cleared her song for Geremo.
Yeah, but it's different when it's like all...
The whole night is based on her.
You know, it's like, you know,
It's like we didn't have Rihanna Knight
and Rihanna like only cleared the song for Guillermo.
Like it's yeah, it's, I don't think
just the way the show's gone,
most of the time it is not the original recording.
Like normally it's the house band.
Yeah, I just assumed that like Mariah Carey Knight
we would have heard her singing,
but I guess I guess it's more like a live thing.
Yeah, I don't actually that like didn't,
that thought didn't cross my mind at all really.
I saw a lot of tweets about that, but.
I think,
You're on the side of Dancing with the Stars.
People really pick apart the
strange things.
People were making fun of her not like giving like a shit.
It seemed like in the package and stuff.
I just know what's like definitely on new fan
Dancing With the Stars Twitter.
You know, like he's not on the Twitter
where people have been watching for years
and they're like, yeah, they never have the real song playing.
It genuinely would have never even crossed my mind
whether it's the real song or the or the house fan.
Like I never even.
notice. Like, I'm just, except when they have a famous singer come in and sing,
then I notice. But otherwise, I'm just like, yeah, this is the way this goes.
Yeah. By the way, they all have to clear, like, they clear the songs. Obviously, the
songs are cleared to, like, perform, but like, I'm saying, like, to play the actual song,
but. Rarely does that happen. Like, rarely does the actual song get played? Okay, I've exposed
myself as a new fan. You've been exposed, honey.
Yeah.
Because you think, like, they have this great male singer who was, I was basing on his name,
but he was just on America's Got Talent.
And the other night, like, Mark's wife sang a song for them because they, at the last minute,
like, needed somebody to step in to sing the song for them.
Yeah, it might be crazy, but when I first heard Mariah Carey Night, I half thought that
she might be there, like, performing all the songs.
That's insane.
I can't say, that thought never crossed my mind.
I would never think Mariah Carey would show up to be a full concert.
Yeah.
They've done a lot of dedication nights of performers.
They're not in the ballroom.
Do you think Mara Carey even watched last night?
No.
No.
Yeah, people were joking like she, like, didn't even know what this was like for.
She was just.
Yeah.
Moving on, we had Jenna and Val, Jenna Dewan and Val, Rumba to My All, score 24.
This was Jenna's best dance.
By far.
by far. I think she really listened to Carrie Ann's feedback and reined it in a little bit in a way that fit the style of the dance and was just smooth and flowing and gorgeous.
And she's a gorgeous dancer. We knew that already. And this felt like technically she hid it all very, very well.
seeing that
Caryan gave
and I'm jumping ahead a little bit
but I'm just talking score-wise
but seeing that Cary Ann gave Mora
a nine for her waltz
and their waltz was gorgeous
but in my mind like Jenna's Rumba
also fucking stunning
like if you're going to give the waltz
and I think they're both nines
if we're giving out nines at this stage
that felt like
a very beautiful performance as well
Val caused a big stir this week
I know.
What was he thinking?
I'm not sure what he was thinking.
And then he's kind of like joking about it,
which doesn't come across great either.
I really don't like the way that he's handling this at all.
And now he's like, yeah, when the season's over,
I'm getting the braids put back in.
And I'm just like, what are you doing?
Yeah, I'm not, I really am unsure either
because it's like, I don't know why you wouldn't listen
to how like the black,
viewers of Dancing with the Stars are feeling about that.
It's like, well, no, let me listen to the people who are telling me it's not a big deal
and not like the other way.
But I guess I don't know if he just feels like he's done it in the, he's like, what,
did you see the TikTok of him walking in to like after he took them out?
And he was just, he took them out.
Yeah.
And he just like, he was like filming himself walking in and he was like going like this,
like just like showing his hair that they were out and he like winks at the camera.
And he was like, all right.
He does a
Yeah, he did like a kiss.
It was like a kissing noise.
It was a bizarre way to handle this.
You know, you do something like that and then you are told like, hey, this is not cool.
And you learn and you go, oh, like I'm not doing that.
Okay.
He's like gone the complete opposite and is like, I'm still going to do it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't know what.
Yeah, he said as soon as he gets off the show, he's putting him back in.
Yeah, that's crazy.
It's just a bizarre, like weird thing to weird.
Yeah, yeah.
So, yeah, and that was talked about with him all week.
And then Jackson also kind of stepped in it
because he had a sassy comment about Guillermo,
but we can talk about that when we get to Jackson's dance.
Who was after.
But Jenna was great.
And I think that this was her best dance.
Tyler and Sharna, Foxshot a Beautiful score 21.
Look, let me tell you something.
Ria and I watch that, we're watching in her own room.
right and like we were different points i'm texting and i texted i texted rhea and he said
am i good i'm literally crying at tyler's dance and i know it's because like we're very close to
tyler we're really rooting for him and he is just trying so hard and like really getting better
and i see that and i saw you saw him kind of beating himself up for the timing issue last week
and going into this dance
and him bringing the rose over to Tate
and Tate crying and them kissing
and I was just like,
this is so beautiful.
This name of the song is beautiful.
I was like, this is so beautiful.
I'm so happy for him.
Fran texts me, she's like, am I good?
Like, I'm crying.
I said, friend, I am also crying at the same exact time as you
about Tyler's dance.
What is happening?
I just feel really proud of him
because he is genuinely working so hard.
He is taking it so seriously.
And him and Sharna, like,
I just feel so passionately about them really working hard at this
and wanting this so bad.
And he is so appreciative of the people
who are there voting for him each week.
Totally.
Like really deeply.
Like, it's not surface, like,
he really deeply feels this way.
And Tate,
well. And it just was, it was beautiful like the song said. And I know that Tyler talked about this
publicly actually on Nick Vial's podcast. He really wants to make it to dedication night. And we got to
get him there. We got, we got to get him there. One more week. One more week now. Yeah. Next week is the
Super Bowl. I think half time shows. Yeah. But we got to get Tyler to dedication week. And he just
crushed it. And I think that this was also his best dance.
I, I, and you could tell in the moment in the dance when he relaxes and finds that confidence and
starts smiling at Sharna like, yeah, he's like, I'm in it now. And the ending was so cute,
giving the rose to tape, especially after that bullshit last week when they showed Hannah Brown.
That was bullshit. So this was-
Justice for Tate. She got her moment. She deserves it. And then I also felt like, you know,
he mentioned, you know, he mentioned his mom and that it was when, when, when she was,
she passed, it was very sudden and unexpected from a brain aneurysm. And Derek had a moment relating
to that. His wife experienced a very scary brain injury as well and was able to recover from that,
which has been so incredible to see. And so he was getting teary-eyed because I don't think Derek
had, like he said, he didn't realize that that is what had happened. So it was just the emotions
we're all there.
You mentioned, you know, next week is
Super Bowl halftime show.
I hope we're bringing the energy up a little bit.
I just think that these last couple weeks
and we've gotten the slower dances.
Like we got a lot of fox trots for Yacht Rock,
a lot of rumbas for Mariah Carey night.
They're beautiful dances,
but just for the entertainment value as a whole,
it's like we got to bring it up a little bit.
I will say I haven't been the biggest fan
of some of these theme nights.
I just think that like they haven't done ballroom justice in the way, like in the best way
where you get a good variety of different styles of dance and all these different things.
I think the halftime show is going to be a great one because we can get obviously a ton of popular songs.
It's the biggest artists in the world have done the halftime shows.
So that'll be really cool.
But yes, like you said, I think Tyler, he just keeps getting better, which I'm so happy for him.
Yeah, me too.
I will say, like, maybe Geremo and Whitney will do pregnant Rihanna at the Super Bowl.
Yes.
You know, I'm just like, I'm kind of just.
Wow, that's incredible.
That's incredible.
It writes itself.
Yeah, it does.
Anyways, moving on, Mora and Mark waltz, too, if it's over, score 25.
Yeah.
First nine of the season.
Here's a thing, Mora is crushing it.
We're such big fans of Mora.
She's doing such a good job.
If I'm Mora, I'm hyped.
I'm like the front runner of the season.
I'm getting my first nine.
If I'm anybody else, I'm like, oh,
more is such a suck up.
Like, oh, I mean, she's not even sucking up to anybody.
No.
At all, at all.
She's just doing her job.
But I would just be like, oh, of course she got the first nine.
Everybody comes for.
She deserves it.
But I think other, they're, like you said, like,
Jenna probably deserved a nine as well.
And if we're giving out, if we're giving out nine.
We're giving out nines.
If we're giving out nines, that's right.
The way that those earlier dances,
when I was like, gorgeous, stunning,
like, I'm expecting three-eights here.
Because it's like, have we crossed the nine threshold yet?
I don't know.
But her waltz was gorgeous.
It really was gorgeous.
Yeah, it was gorgeous.
And absolutely deserve the nine there if we're giving them out as well.
I just think you're right.
I think a couple people did as well.
But she is so good.
And I love her and Mark as a pair.
and you could tell Mark is just so proud of her
and she's so proud of herself
and she gets so nervous before every dance
and she's crushing it.
Like it's so gorgeous, she's a gorgeous dancer.
Gorgeous dancer.
I know we say it every week,
but it really is just so impressive that she really
did not have a dance background.
Like was not dancing as a kid.
Like it was not like part of her life at all.
And to turn into this gorgeous dancer
is really quite impressive.
It gives a lot of, a lot of,
a lot of hope out there for the people
that maybe don't think they could dance.
And hey, you just never know with the right time, right practice.
You too could be more of Higgins.
If you have, if you, to myself.
Yeah.
I'm saying that to yourself.
Maybe I could, if I had more, you know,
if you get the right teacher,
you're so right.
The right teacher, you just never know.
You're so right.
And Mark has just.
just done a brilliant job. So it has been so fun watching their dances. They're always gorgeous.

with the parent slash guardian. We talked about Guillermo Whitney. Yeah. We don't have to talk about
any further. Jackson and Emma waltz to without you score 21. So Jackson also,
stepped in it this week. He commented,
I think it was to one of his teammates being like,
how did you do the dance better than him
after only two hours? Yeah, better than Garmo.
Of practice.
I said to Fran,
this felt like he meant to DM it to him and accidentally
commented it. Because you know how like sometimes when you're sending
somebody something? And I'm like, I feel like he meant to DM this and he
ended up commenting it. I always do the opposite.
like where somehow I'm sending a DM
and I thought it was a comment.
Why the fuck is this setting as a DM?
Like what?
I thought I was just replying to a comment
just send a DM to this person.
That was bizarre though.
Like if it was either way
it was just kind of like
why would you do that?
No and here's the thing with the internet right now
like Guillermo is untouchable
when it comes to the other cast
like we see how people have reacted to
like anybody being mean to Guillermo
like on the show and he's a grown man.
Like it's okay.
No, no, no.
But if he said that about anyone on the cast,
it would have to say,
if he said about Amber Glenn,
how did you do it better than her?
For sure.
It would have been worse, honestly.
It would have been worse.
It wouldn't have happened.
No, it just would have been so bizarre about anybody.
No, it was a weird comment to make regardless.
I think he was, I don't know,
I guess trying to hype up his friend more.
I don't, but it was,
it did not.
come across kind um but then like right before the show Jackson like posted a video with
kiyermo trying to you see after the show he said that he went to his trailer and they talked for
30 minutes i would pay to see that conversation like giermo and him like having a serious
conversation 30 minutes is a yeah i don't know if that requires 30 minutes to talk about
30 minutes like what are they talking about maybe they were getting deep about days of
The SARS, though.
Did Jackson do the Viennese waltz or a waltz?
Someone did a Viennese waltz last night.
He just did a regular waltz.
Julia Stiles did a Vianz.
Oh, Julia did Viennese wiles.
Watching the different waltz is very close together.
It was interesting.
Like, Mora and Mark so good.
I felt like this choreography was a little bit,
was a little different.
Like Derek had said,
I felt Mark and Mora did a really classic,
waltz something about jackson just i i don't know i i don't know what it is i which is you know
yeah like great to say there's just something about it like i don't fully enjoy watching it's
more like dance which is not nice but that's just how i feel watching him dance i don't buy it
and i don't know exactly what it is right but i don't buy it it
whatever he's selling you're not buying.
And I'm so wrong
about my initial prediction of being like,
I'm gonna love these two.
I love Emma.
I'm not loving Jackson.
It's something about Jackson
where it's just like, I don't know him.
And I don't feel like he's,
I'm connecting with him.
I only know that he's like a happy go lucky banana.
Yeah.
And I don't know.
I feel the same.
I don't know Jackson on a deeper scale.
I feel. I'm not getting vulnerable Jackson. I'm getting showman Jackson. I'm getting banana
Jackson. Yeah. I want, I feel like Bruno. I want to see more. I want to feel Jackson.
And I don't. I, I, I totally understand what you're saying. What was, surface level. What was their score?
They had a score of 21.
Okay. So they got three sevens, I think, if I remember correctly. That's, yeah, just it's, it's, it's very steady with Jackson. I also feel like I'm not, I don't, like this feels sort of his threshold. Like, I don't know how, like, if he can go higher, if that makes sense. Yeah. I'm just not connecting with it. Yeah. I think that's, I think that's very fair.
And like Noah said, that's my opinion.
Yeah, exactly, exactly.
Moving on, Tatiana and Jan.
Yes.
Jazz, a fantasy score, 20.
Beautiful dance.
I'm so obsessed with Jan.
Like, wow.
And I think Jan is, I think Jan is carrying, like, he is doing great stuff with her right now.
I think people love their duo so much that that is.
is what is propelling them in the competition.
Because I think there's always, like,
there's always stars that people love
just because of who they are as a star,
regardless of the pro.
Then there's people who love the pro.
And then there's the people who really love the pairing.
And these two, it's like the pairing is just great.
It is.
And I thought this was really fun.
And I just think he's so funny.
Yeah.
And we didn't get to see that much last year.
I feel like.
I mean, we got glimpses.
But this year we're really seeing how funny he is.
And I love it.
I love it.
And Tatiana is great too.
But for me, Jan is kind of like stealing the show in the pairing.
For sure.
And I think Tatiana is also definitely getting better week to week and showing that improvement.
I did agree with the judges that like she's just got to finish a little bit stronger.
Some of the moves like jazz is so like, you just like really hit it, hit it very hard some of those moves.
So I got the criticism, but I thought it was such a fun dance.
Like it was really a great, great entertainment.
I agree. And I love their set too.
I thought that was so fun.
Yeah, it was cute.
Connor and Riley, Rumba, to Touch My Body, Score 19.
The internet reaction to this is out of this world.
We're getting almost a level.
I felt like when people were freaking out about Tyler doing the off-campus thing
and like girls were screaming on their couches,
this is how my TikTok has been of girls watching Connor do.
that body roll at the beginning.
Like girls legit screaming.
Everyone's like, Papa, he's daddy.
That's like, everybody's like he's become daddy.
Forget Papa.
It's all over my feet.
I'll be honest.
When he did those body rolls, I went, ooh, Connor, okay.
But it like, it came and went.
Like, there was moments, like the body roll.
And then when he did like sort of like that drop to the grind on the floor,
I was like, woo.
Like, there was moments that were, that took me a back.
But then the in-between was a little bit more of a struggle.
Like I felt like sometimes he was chasing Riley a little bit
in between sort of those moves.
But he got people feeling something.
They were like, woo.
I thought that this was a really fun one for them too.
And you want that strong reaction from the audience.
And he's going to get that.
Like his fans are so dedicated.
And he, and this is what,
I mean like with Connor you feel something right you're rooting for him because you can feel his emotions
like he's very vulnerable in the way that like when he is mouthing things about he's like how he feels
yeah and so you know that he's beating himself up about not missing you know not getting moves right
or he's excited that he did the body roll like there you just feel it a deeper connection with him
that's what that's what I mean when I'm talking about Jackson like I'm
don't feel that way with him. Yeah, I totally get what you're saying. And I think that there's
there's just such a level of relatability with Connor too. And I think that's just comes with being
a comedian podcaster where your audience really feels like they know you. And that makes
watching it feel like really enjoyable because you're just, you're just really rooting for that
person. And he was cracking me up.
like talking about grinding in middle school and like sweet like sweet Riley's like I don't even
know what that is like it's like it's was so funny to me because that's like sometimes the packages
feel uh you know maybe they can be a little serious or intense or it's just kind of just talking
about judges feedback and how they can improve but these two like there's always a joke there's
always something fun there's always something you laugh about and like Connor making that joke
and talking about grinding, like, that's where you feel connected to him because you're like,
oh, we all had that experience.
Like, at middle school, it's something that you laugh about.
It's so relatable for our age.
And it just, it gives you such a good laugh.
And that's a perfect example of being vulnerable doesn't have to mean being deep or sad or
something that's like, you know, in that way.
It can be being relatable in a funny way.
about, you know, past experiences.
So, yeah, exactly.
So these two are just a fun watch.
They really are.
This is another one where I'm just like,
the pairing is so great.
And I think that Riley is helping him so much.
There, the, he,
and I know people were like,
he's being,
he's being majorly underscored.
I don't know necessarily if I,
agree with the scoring per se,
but his effort and like his,
the way that he is trying,
it's all really there.
and I appreciate that,
and I really do enjoy watching him and Riley.
Moving on, Julia and Ezra, Julia Stiles and Ezra,
oh my God, I thought I saw an animal,
but it might have just been in a car.
Vieny's Waltz Division of Love, score 21.
This was a good dance for her.
It was a good dance for her,
but I also don't feel like I'm connecting with Julia as much either,
if I'm being completely honest.
That's fair.
I think that's also, like,
I think that comes with the territory
of being such a massive star.
I don't think it is as easy for her to open up per se.
But she is, that was a beautiful dance.
And I did feel like that was her best dance.
Yeah, it was her best dance.
And Ezra's choreography is so good, in my opinion.
And I thought that this was a really good one.
I thought that their dance last week was really fun too.
But this was definitely the best technical dance.
Definitely, definitely.
last Amber and Pasha
from but a hero
they got a 23
another great dance
by these two
and then they're just going
all the way to the end
I mean like the Olympians
are just crushing it
the Pashkov household
is really just nailing it
and the
the lines
and the moments that she hits
and that move
where she was like
just a straight
line, but her leg was up. It was just, that final move was incredible. It's really, she's just
such a gorgeous dancer. And I think Carian, did Carian give her a seven? I don't have the,
because she could, it was a 23, right? Yes. So I think she got two eights and then Carian gave her a seven.
And I was shocked by that. Like, I, I, I understand sometimes with Carian, it's like,
I understand the feedback, like, of what she's saying.
But then I'm like, I don't know if the score represents that as well, too.
Like, she said, you know, sort of just like flowing in the dance more and all these things.
But I just thought that was a really gorgeous dance.
I agree.
I would have thought it would have been three eights.
I mean, sometimes Carrie Ann's, I'm not like a Carrie Ann hater in the way that,
people get so mad when she gives criticism
because that's what she's there for.
Yeah.
But sometimes her scoring is all over the place for me
and I'm like, I don't know
if this is representing the way that you felt about another dance.
Like the scoring doesn't make sense here.
Totally.
So it seems like Derek and Bruno are always really aligned
on their scoring and Carrie Ann is always like in the field of her own.
Yeah, I could see that.
Dancing with the Stars did just announce
They're you know
They always have a
They announced a new tour
Really exciting things
They announced last night
A bunch of tour dates
And you know what
Fucking good for them
They're going to Madison Square Garden
Wow
Yeah
That is a step up from Radio City
They're doing MSG
Which is really really cool
I'm so I'm so excited
for them.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It is wild.
I saw the post this morning because I follow,
I have to follow
the Masters Ground on Instagram.
And yeah, just posted just out and Stanston where they start is live.
Will come to the Garden on Friday, February 5th.
That's good for them.
That's amazing.
Gamer will probably be on tour with them.
Yeah, but yeah.
Probably.
He'll probably hit a couple shows.
He definitely will.
No, I don't think Dan,
Danny and Pasha are doing tour this year.
Fair.
Like, they probably want some time as a family.
You know, maybe?
Yeah.
Maybe they just want a little break.
Like, they've been going, going, going for so long.
Like, I wouldn't be surprised if they were like,
hey, we just want to chill.
For sure.
I think that's super fair.
Selfishly, like Danny just is so,
like she just makes these shows, in my opinion.
And everybody's a fantastic dancer,
but she's just so mesmerizing.
Yeah, she's, she's kind of,
of in a league of her own at times.
She's just so damn good.
So good. So good. But yeah, that's this week.
Like I said, next week is Super Bowl night.
So that'll be a lot of fun.
And it'll be high energy before we get to, you know,
dedication night and you end up like crying in every single person's dance.
For sure. For sure.
Moving on just some quick little news here, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian,
a little collaboration on a new TV show.
So I think Kim is producing it
and Kylie Jenner is starring in it
but I imagine her character gets killed off
in the first episode
because it is a thriller drama series
about a bride on her bachelorette weekend
where the bride gets killed
and then they kind of try to figure out
who did it, who on her bachelorette did it
and Kylie is playing the bride.
So I think that she gets,
I don't know Kylie's starring in the,
show. I think Kylie gets killed off in the first episode. No, but they're saying she's
headlining the show. She's like the star is what they're like saying. I know, but are you hearing,
that's what I'm saying. I don't think she's act like, yes, she's headlining the show as the
bride, but she gets killed off the first episode because they already said the bride gets killed off.
And that's what the show is about. I can see like a flashbacks. Yeah, I was going to say, I was going
to say, I'm sure there'll be a lot of flashbacks where like maybe they have to establish the friendship
with each of the girls to be like,
ooh, what happened?
So they'll show, like,
they'll film a lot of pre-stuff.
It's like a,
any type of, you know,
murder mystery show where it's like,
yeah, the big character gets killed off
in episode one,
but they're still in the whole season.
Yeah, like just a little subtle flashbacks.
I think that
that's what they mean by, like,
headlining the show because she's playing the bride.
I'm excited to see how this turns out, though.
Like, I don't know.
I'm interested.
I'm,
I don't know about...
They're really taking a whack at the acting.
Hey, they could do it because they have the connections,
so why not take a whack at it?
Holy shit!
I'm forgetting that I fucking saw Timothy Shalbay.
Yeah, I...
Saul is an understatement.
Saw is an understatement.
Sorry, I'm screaming.
I literally ate lunch next to Timothy Shalbite.
Yes.
On Monday.
I went to lunch on Monday.
near our new apartment.
Yes.
And was seated right next to Timothy Shalame.
Crazy.
Crazy.
He was just enjoying a nice Upper West Side lunch.
He was just enjoying a nice lunch.
And I couldn't believe it.
With his mom.
Yeah.
I couldn't believe it.
I just thought, wow, my first week living here
and I see Timothy Shalameh.
Seriously.
I mean, and by the way, I've been coming to the city multiple times a week for years now.
Like, it's not, it's not like, like, I keep talking about moving to the city as if I'm not in the city four times a week.
But yeah, but it's about the downtime.
Like, it's the in between.
That's when you're seeing people when you're walk around, not really paying attention.
Like, you're in the city, but you're in and out.
Like you're in, you're, that you go to work, you go home.
But not on the weekends and stuff, that's different.
But like, on a weekday, it's not like stroll in the streets.
You never know who you're going to see.
Now you have that.
Like, Timothy Chalmay would have been my number one person to want to spot, and it happened.
And I couldn't believe it.
Yeah.
I can't believe I forgot until this moment.
I know.
I kind of actually tried to bury out of my head because it didn't feel real.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That is a very surreal feeling.
And then his mom asked me what salad I was eating because she said it looked good.
And I told her the pear salad.
And, yeah.
Timothy, I think you'd like the pear salad.
I didn't say anything, though.
Next time, you know.
I didn't want to bother.
He was having a nice lunch with his mom.
You should have subtly, like, out loud,
been like, oh, you know, we have to interview this,
this celebrity next week.
Or, like, just said things that make you, like,
I'm in the industry, too.
I will say there were, Matt was like,
should I start saying some, some neat, like, things to,
and I'm like, no, no, no, don't like,
it's going to, we're going to seem like we're trying too hard.
Yeah, it's also so funny if you, like, starts doing that
and, like, talking so loud.
and he's just not listening.
Yeah, he just like...
Doesn't care.
Why would he?
We were sitting outside, though,
and I had ran into our listeners,
one of our listeners on the subway right before this,
and I was like, please for the love of God walk by again.
Oh my God.
Ria, you should have told me to come and pretend to be a fan.
Oh, my God, that's so true.
If you don't think that I told Emma,
who was getting a blowout around the block,
to come by and pretend to be a fan,
then she was like, Maria,
I'm in the middle of my blowout.
I can't do this.
I would have come.
I would have come.
I just was like praying
that our listener would walk by again.
I was like, oh my God,
this would be amazing right now.
That would have really been icing on the cake.
That would have been insane.
But he was having a nice lunch
so he didn't say anything because, you know,
they didn't want to bother.
He didn't want, you know.
Respect.
He's just chilling.
I was trying to respect his privacy.
Respect your mother, they say.
Maybe he was respecting your privacy.
Maybe he knew you.
Yeah, that's definitely why his mom asked me with salad I was eating
because she was a big thing.
Mom, mom, she said something to know.
When she came over to ask me with salad I was eating,
I was like, what is she about to say right now?
Like maybe she's a chick's in the office listener.
I feel like he's also so, I feel like he's online,
especially with sports stuff that maybe,
but like maybe he's like
I've seen that guy before
like Marty like Marty like
Marty Marty Marty Supreme
Yeah
It's very possible
Wait were you guys at the Marty Supreme
premiere in the back row right?
Yeah
Oh damn yeah well
Anyways
Kylie Jenner acting you know
She's got a very famous
Oscar nominated
boyfriend
And she wants to try it out
In my opinion too
It's like there's really nothing to lose
because I think she's seen what Kim has done
and like Kim enjoys doing it despite that show
like getting the worst reviews of all time.
And they got a second season.
So like it's just at the level where where why not?
If you haven't interested in it and you had fun,
it seems like the last couple things she's done,
she's enjoyed doing.
So go ahead and try it and see what happens.
Because worst case like at this point,
I think they've heard it all that they're like,
you know, this could be fun.
So maybe we'll give it a whack.
Right.
Yeah.
Let's make fun of the girl
who put herself out there
and took a risk.
Yes.
Last topic, Mika Abdallah and Josh Houston.
They go public.
They went public in Paris.
So cute.
What are a stunning couple.
Oh, wow.
What a just gorgeous, gorgeous couple
with the best hair.
The two of them.
They got to get in a hair commercial
the two of them.
You know, I don't normally use the term like striking, but these two are just, they're striking.
They are. They are. That's an appropriate term for them. Yeah, they really are. And I love to because it's like,
there's some cute pictures that came out. And then there was also a video. It was sort of them coming out of a,
of a bus or, you know, whatever, van situation, private, private car. And she sort of stumbled on the steps
coming down and he was just a strong shoulder to be there, make sure she was, she was upright. There was,
a big Dumas rumor, or at least a Dumas post, I think, that they had said that someone from
off-campus relationship had ended. And it wasn't like specific to who it was. But we know that
there's, I mean, there's a lot of guys that have been in, like, in relationships. So a lot of
speculation. I think a lot of people thought maybe it was them just because they are like a double
off-campus couple. They're both on the show.
And that was a couple days ago and then we saw this.
Yeah, well, they're still together. Belmont and his girlfriend are still together.
Stephen and his fiance are still together. I think people think it's Antonio.
It might be Antonio. Yeah. Yeah. That. I don't know. That's just a guess.
That's just that's, yeah, it is. And like there was just a million, obviously, people like in the comments throwing names around.
And I saw those two a lot. And then of course, like, you know, the pictures come out and everyone's
like, oh, they're, they're good, you know?
It seems like everything is okay in that world.
I'm trying to think if I can, I forget where exactly it was.
You know what my brain goes to?
Like, I get, and it's so bad because they're a young Hollywood couple.
And I just go, I love them together.
I don't want them to break up.
But you just, you know, they're just a young Hollywood couple.
and they're,
you just never know.
They're just living their life.
Yeah, it was they posted an off-campus relationship
is over and then it was like taking guesses below in the comments.
And everybody has a different guess.
Like every,
it's just so funny because these off-campus fans like have their favorites
and like it can never be their favorites.
Like it's like, well, it's not these two.
Well, it's not these two.
Well, it's not these two.
Um, yeah.
So it's like,
then there was possibly some other like nicheer ones but people were just like just make sure
it's not Mika and Josh like that's what they were most really hammering home.
But there's been some great looks for Paris Fashion Week.
I just want to say Kristen Wigg at the Chanel show, I'll have what she's having.
You know, like my God, amazing.
Talk about striking.
Seriously.
Like so good.
The content was.
making me smile like her and Pedro Pascal and Duol Lipa, Nicole Kidman, just really fun stuff.
All the great outfits are out of Paris Fashion Week. You just love to see. I love seeing
Lily Reinhardt. All of her looks have been unbelievable. Like we talked about it with her press tour,
but just her at the Mue Mew show, she looked incredible. She's got Jack with her. They look so
great. Yes, she looked great, but the other Miu-Mu looks were not great. Sometimes Miu-Mu
like just my own individual's fashion preferences.
Like as individual pieces, I like them.
And then sometimes when they put it all together,
it's, it's not as cute.
And it's not as like flattering to the person wearing the outfit,
if that makes sense.
Like they have so many cool, young, fun people
that go to the MUMU shows.
And sometimes the outfits they're in,
I'm just like, it's kind of boring.
Yeah, totally agree.
Yeah.
Totally agree.
I do love seeing all the Paris Fashion Week looks.
Yeah, they've been awesome.
All right, that wraps up today's topics.
All right, let's get into the Pop Corner.
But first, we have to talk about Truly,
because Truly is all about bringing people and friends together.
It's about turning we should get together into,
see Saturday, a call for a weekend of fun together with your friends.
even if you're not a sports to die hard,
you could just be there for the togetherness it brings
as fall gets into full swing.
You know, those Sundays where you grab a pack of Truly,
you head over to your friend's house, watch some sports.
Truly brings the fun, refreshing fruit flavors in a bubbly style.
They're super light and refreshing by design
to keep the fun going with your friends.
And with only one grandma's sugar and 100 calories,
they're great for day drinking,
without all the heaviness from other drinks into the night.
And they have the most variety with new packs and styles out all the time.
So go grab a truly pack today.
All right, let's get into the Pop Corner.
We're taking your hot takes, your voicemails, your opinions.
Noah played the first voicemail.
Hi, Ray and Friend, this is Amanda calling from Philly.
So you guys recently posted a photo of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey out in New York, okay?
He's objectively wearing a horrible outfit, okay?
He has heels on, he's got boots with heels on.
He's got these crazy wide-legged pants and this sweat.
that makes him look 20 pounds heavier than he actually is.
Okay?
It's an objectively horrible outfit.
I commented a simple, what the hell is he wearing?
I think it's a valid question, valid comment.
And I am getting so much freaking hate,
and people are coming at me.
Some woman called me at Karen.
Whatever happened to hating on outfits?
Whatever happened to hating on men?
Whatever happened to hating in general?
Because people are literally coming from me saying,
you've never seen a boot with a hair.
Like, this outfit sucks.
You know, talk about a hot take.
All right, fine.
This is, I believe, what we say when we mean hot take.
What happened to hating?
I don't.
I hate a lot of, I hate a lot of Travis's outfits.
I didn't hate this one.
I'm trying to think of when this was.
When they were going to Teresa, the other day.
That outfit did not bother me whatsoever.
Wait, I thought she said he was in red pants.
No, wide pants.
No, wide pants.
Oh, wide, like pants.
Wide-like pants.
This outfit did not bother me on.
I liked this outfit too.
Like, I was so on, but, like, he's worn some crazy things.
Yes.
And this is, like, so actually subtle and nice.
This is, like, one of the least offensive things that he's worn.
When I saw it, my first thought was he looks way heavier than he is.
I agree with that.
Okay, but like, come on.
That's different.
Here's the thing.
I'm not going to be commenting.
There's where.
There's a, and sorry, not to be that person,
but it's like, yeah, hating, blah, blah,
but it's different to hate on the outfit
than the hate on the person's weight in the outfit.
No, it's not the way.
It's the fact that it makes him look like he's...
Yeah, but people do that shit all the time about outfits.
Like, I saw Duolipo wearing a stunning outfit in Paris
and people automatically jump to,
she's pregnant, why is she wearing this bulky outfit?
Can't someone just wear a bulky outfit
because they want to wear a bulky outfit that day
or a bigger outfit and like not care?
on like how it comes across.
God forbid.
God forbid a man wants to wear his eating sweater to
Terese. Exactly. Right.
Good point, friend.
Good point. You want to stuff your.
Teresa's so fucking good. I'm wearing my big sweater
to Teresa too because I'm stuck.
You got to roll me out of there at the end of the night.
It's an eating sweater. It is an eating sweater.
Okay, here's a thing. I love the sentiment of what this.
An eating sweater is so funny. It's so real.
I love the sentiment of what she is.
Like of what she's saying, you don't have to like an outfit.
And I don't think like, here's the thing with fashion.
It's like if you don't like it, that does not warrant people to attack you as a per.
You're not saying you don't like the person.
You just don't like the clothes that they're wearing.
And that's like, that's okay.
Like we have to be okay.
We have to be okay with people being critical on outfits.
Personally, this is just not the one I would have come for Travis for.
He has worn some ridiculous outfits and some colors that don't match and clash and
crazy things sometimes like these big like sometimes these in like these fuzzy sweaters and these
crazy shoes and all these things that don't go together this was a nice outfit i'm with you this is
not one that i'm you know bent out of shape about but i think that you're right in the way that
you can absolutely not like an outfit it happens all the time yeah your outfit's not going to be
for everybody not everybody has the same taste that's just life and it would be weird
if everyone had the same exact taste
and had the same exact fashion sense
and everybody wore the same exact thing all the time.
Like, you gotta take some risk.
This one's not a risk though.
He's just in a sweater and pants.
What the hell is this outfit comment though?
Pretty innocent on like a page
that post pictures, I would say.
Yeah, like a pop culture page you kind of have to.
For sure.
You're not commenting on like your picture.
You have to expect for that to happen.
On a pop culture page.
Yeah, yeah.
You know, it wasn't like,
like, I hate Travis Kelsey.
I think he's a terrible human and he's,
he's ugly and disgusting.
Like, that's, that's different.
If she was like, if you were commenting
like, Travis Kelsey is so fat and ugly,
yeah, no, we can't be doing that.
But not liking his outfit, whatever.
Hi, I'm Jennifer Nashville.
I want to get your take on something.
Okay, so if you had a friend coming to visit you
who lives in a different city
and your friend who is coming to visit
is pregnant,
and there's limited beds,
would you offer for her to sleep in your bed
either with you or, like, in place of your boyfriend
or whatever, as opposed to sleeping on the couch or an air mattress?
And if you were the pregnant one, would you expect that?
Because I was talking to my husband.
I'm debating on whether I make, like, a small weekend trip to go to Chicago
to visit some friends.
And I was like, I don't know if I'm going to go, though,
because the only thing is, like, there's no parking.
And I have to sleep on an air mattress.
And I don't know.
I'm also like halfway pregnant right now experiencing some physical discomfort but I'm not like about to pop you know and he was like they're not giving you their bed and I was like well no but like I wouldn't really expect that and it's like I feel like they really should so I don't know is that like presumptuous to assume that if you're pregnant people should just automatically give you their bed or is that like a state like in your opinion should that be like the norm like courteous thoughtful thing to do because if the role is reversed you're
I honestly don't know if I would even stay given it to like offer up my own bed for me to sleep
somewhere else. I don't know. I'm curiously off. Okay, love you. Bye.
I think if I was pregnant, I wouldn't assume someone was getting me their bed, but as a host,
I would absolutely offer my bed. I offer my bed up to people who aren't pregnant. So that's just,
that's just the kind of host I am, that I would be like, like, take whatever you need,
anything to make this comfortable for you. I will sleep on the couch.
me, my husband will sleep on the couch.
You take the bed.
But showing up as the pregnant woman,
you can't,
I don't think you could just assume, right?
But I think you know your friends better than...
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Like, I guess you just know your friends, right?
So it's like, is your friend the type to...
I don't know.
I don't know.
Yeah, really case by case,
like depending on what space you're working with, like,
Well, just think if you have one king bed in your home and then you have a couch or a
air mattress, you do not have a guest.
No, for sure.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I, if I had, if I had a pregnant friend come stay at my apartment, like I would absolutely
offer her my bed.
Like I don't, that's my setup.
I have one, I'm in a one bedroom apartment.
So I think I, like, I think I would, but I don't know if it would one, like, like, like, I think
I would, but I don't know if it would
one, like, I don't think I would go in
100% thinking about it, but then
when it would come to the time of like,
oh, everyone needs to go to sleep, I'd be like,
wait, this is crazy, you can't sleep on the couch.
Like, I think that, it would, it would come across
in, in that moment. I don't know if I would be like
pre-planning totally, but now that I'm thinking
about it, I've just, I've, I've never had this
happened. So, now that I'm thinking
about it, it's like,
Well, yeah, it would totally say you would get the bed.
I do that like when my mom comes to visit.
I'm like, you should sleep.
Right.
In the bed, you know?
So I think that that would make sense.
But it's also like if you're close enough,
you're going to visit your friend and staying in their apartment.
Like I'm assuming or at home, you know,
I'm assuming you're quite close to be like,
hey, let's let's talk about the sleeping.
arrangements because, you know, I am pregnant and I feel like I need a little bit more support.
I think that's super fair. Yeah, I think you would definitely say something. And you know what?
Sometimes you just can't assume, right? Like, maybe that's what they say. Maybe if you just bring it up,
like, it was better to bring it up before and not assume. Because then if you're like, oh my God,
I can't believe my friend didn't offer this to me. Yeah. And then your friend might just be like over,
overseeing it for a minute. For sure. Just like, oh, fuck. I didn't even, wow.
you should totally have my bed.
Exactly.
All right, let's do one more.
Hi, guys.
So my hot take is that Leonardo DiCaprio is still in love with Kate Winslet.
And the reason he's so young is because he's trying to find the feeling that he had back when they first met.
And they will forever be my greatest like Hollywood.
What if love story.
Yeah, just curious what your thoughts are on that.
I absolutely love that and I couldn't agree more.
This came up in my TikTok recently.
I wonder if she saw it the same video.
It was like 10 minutes.
It was like all the instances of like interviews,
moments of them talking about each other
and how much they love each other
and supporting each other
and like being there for each other on carpets
and like flashbacks to them when they were younger.
And I could totally see that
where it's like, hey, you know,
these two, he was not at the point of his life to realize how special she was.
I mean, if Leo was into age appropriate women, then yes, but it's not his type.
Wait, did they ever actually date?
I don't know. The argument is just like, the argument is just, the argument that people make is
that like, this is why he goes for younger women all the time too is just because like he lost
his great love.
Because Kate's the one that got away.
Like it's just like it'll never like anybody age appropriate would just like it would just
It has to be Kate.
So you know what?
That actually makes things a little bit better if you think of it like that.
Like oh wow.
Oh, it does make it better.
He's just really in love with Kate Winslet.
So that's why he only date.
It's so not the case.
But that is what like, I'm sure Leo was like, yeah, let's run with that spin.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I was like I actually love this.
Let's get those TikTok edits out there.
Let's keep this narrative going.
Yeah.
Yeah.
exactly like I'm just I'm just so sad I need the comfort of a younger woman because I'd
I never had my I never had my one true love Kate Winslet.
I can't have Kate. Okay.
Look they are I love they they're so supportive of each other and I do love watching them
talk about each other like it is it's always beautiful and it is one of those ones that you
think like man I wonder if they could have made it work but they're great friends me too
like in another life Leo's one of those totally and another life they found each other
You know, he's one of those people that's been in a longstanding Hollywood relationship that you really look back and respect.
Like when we talk about couples that are like, oh, my God, they've been together since 1997.
That's awesome.
He's not.
He's not one of those, but in another lifetime he was.
For sure.
All right.
That robs up the popcorn.
Keep calling in.
That wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office.
Thank you so much for watching and listening.
We love you guys so much.
And we'll talk to you on Friday.
Yeah.
the office, a long-time listener.
First-time caller.
Look at the charts.
Who does it the best?
Two chicks getting paid in reality checks.
You can find them at the gym.
It's not even a flex.
Last minute red carpet flew him out on the jet.
Yeah, they're who you want to be.
They're always on your screen.
Two queens and they might be spilling royalty.
A lot of topics that are popping here to get into.
I know a show that you probably want to listen to.
Turn the heat up.
Turn the beat up.
Record the pop.
made a bag, put their feet up.
The ones that leave no crumbs when they clean up.
Who's the pod that they all want to meet up?
Who turned the heat up?
Turn the beat up.
Record the pod, made a bag, put their feet up.
The ones that leave no crumbs when they clean up.
Who's the pod that they all want to meet up?
