Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. This is... What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Monday, except it is Sunday and we are in Miami.
Starting point is 00:00:31 It is Sunday night. We are in our hotel room, laying in bed. And is it laying or lying? laying, I think. I always I always picked the wrong one. I think it's lying in bed because laying seems more practical and of course that can't be right.
Starting point is 00:00:48 So I think it's lying. I think it's lying. I don't know. I don't know. I'm sure somebody, a grammar police will correct us somewhere. Anyway, we're in bed. Yes, we're in bed and we are in Miami.
Starting point is 00:01:02 Presented by Monster Energy Ultra just like this podcast is every single time. You know it is our favorite. energy drink. Heavy on Monster Energy Ultra this weekend. We've been drinking a lot of Monster Energy. You know it's our favorite because it gives us the energy without giving us the sugar and the bad nonsense that usually
Starting point is 00:01:19 comes with an energy drink. And they taste so good. Zero sugar, low calories, taste delicious. Guys, we've been telling you that the ultraviolet is the best. It is, but I just want to let you know, there's more flavors out there that are also really, really good. It's like the green one. We had We had a moment where obviously we gravitated to the purple can. Purple chicks in the office.
Starting point is 00:01:42 It just makes sense. Purple is our favorite color. We tried all of them and we were like, oh, well, duh, we love the purple one because it's purple. But this weekend we've really gone in and have been sampling each one, the white, the green, the blue, the red, all the different cans. They're all amazing. And they all taste like candy.
Starting point is 00:02:00 Like all so good. I told you that the blue one kind of tastes like a blue warhead. Like after the sour's gone and it's the sweet, like hard candy, it tastes so good. And like you said, no sugar, low calories. It's like no other energy drink out there. And it kept us going all weekend. Kept us going all weekend. It's like drinking any type of candy that you want without getting that sugar.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Like we said, it all tastes like candy. So go get the great loophole to like just drinking energy drinks. Right. And you guys have been tagging us. So keep doing that. We love to see it. Yeah. And we've honestly been having an absolute.
Starting point is 00:02:36 It makes a good mixed drink. Yeah, it does, but don't tell Monster we said that. Okay. Anyway, we ended the ad before that. Okay. So, yes, we are in Miami. We have been having a great, great weekend. It's Sunday right now.
Starting point is 00:02:49 So we just got back from a long day at NASCAR, which was unbelievable. The people that work at Monster that were at the NASCAR race showing us around were the nicest people ever. So amazing. The NASCAR people themselves were awesome. We learned a lot about NASCAR. Yes, we did. We learned just a lot of the ins and outs of the sport.
Starting point is 00:03:12 We got to see all the cars and doing all the work on the cars. It was great. Yeah, I honestly was getting more into NASCAR as the day went on. And then when we got home and because we left before the race was over, guys. Yeah, don't. The race is four hours long. It was a very long day. We were up early and we had to be there.
Starting point is 00:03:33 We had to be there early, which meant that. we were out of our hotel room by like 730 so we were it was very early and it was um kind of cold so like the day like it started off it felt so long because we started off like in a different day like we woke up and it was cold and cloudy and it was cold and cloudy three hours later it was beautiful and sunny it felt like two separate days in one day which made the day longer yeah two different seasons in one day um but i was so interested when we got home that i got duped by a fake naskar account because we met I'll preface this we met Kurt
Starting point is 00:04:10 Bush and Samantha Bush is Kyle Bush's wife Now if you guys don't follow NASCAR which I'm sure our listeners there's not a big crossover so just bear with us there might be there might be I don't know I'm not there might be but I'm not I'm not going to assume that there is so I'm going to explain it as if there's not Okay so yeah that's all I know
Starting point is 00:04:28 Yeah Kurt and Kyle Busch are brothers And we talked we got to talk to Samantha She was so sweet she's on racing wives on CMT if anybody watches racing wives. And Kyle Busch won the race. So we didn't say, like I said, but I yelled to Ria from the other room,
Starting point is 00:04:48 oh, Kyle Busch won, you were in bed laying down, lying down, god damn it, laying down. I don't know. Who knows? Who cares? You basically, I just heard you go like, oh shit. And then I was like, what happened?
Starting point is 00:05:03 And you just didn't answer me for like five minutes. and you come running in. You're like, friend, I don't know, I don't know if this is real. I don't know what. I think this is like a NASCAR reporter. I can't tell if it is or not. But I think Kyle Bush got disqualified
Starting point is 00:05:15 and his car, his car failed inspection and he lost. Like, Ria was so in on this NASCAR conspiracy. I look at the tweets. All I had to see was the guy's name. I was like, Ria, I don't think NASCAR guy's 60, at NASCAR guy 69 is a hard-hitting journalist. Listen, I, it's been a lot of.
Starting point is 00:05:35 day. I'm tired. I'm loopy. I just, it, the funniest thing that in his bio, it just says NASCAR reporter. Yeah, lowercase. Lowercase. Everything. Lower case. And he has like 400 followers. But the things that NASCAR guy 69 at the inside scoop. The things that he was tweeting like prior to that also seemed kind of off, but also seemed like they could be true. And once again, we don't follow NASCAR. So, you know, I just, it could have. It could have. could have been. I was rooting for a controversy because I was in it at this point. And shout out to NASCAR
Starting point is 00:06:11 Guy 69 because you fooled me. Yeah, he got Ria. Because we also learned that I guess I guess it is fair to say that Kyle Bush is a dick. I think you've got to cut that out. He is disliked in the NASCAR
Starting point is 00:06:29 community. We didn't get to meet him. We just got to meet his wife and she was absolutely lovely. And his brother Kurt was lovely as well. But rumor has it that Kyle is, people don't like how. And we also got that because when they announced his name of the track, like the whole place booed. So. Yeah, everyone was like, boo!
Starting point is 00:06:47 It seems like they're not a fan. That's okay. That's fine. He won anyway. So like, you know, who's laughing now? Right. And it was, it was so cool. I mean, I know it sounds stupid to say, but the cars go so fast.
Starting point is 00:07:02 Yeah. And it's so loud. It's just like a different experience. when you're right next to it. Yeah. And we drove in a pace car. Yes. Which I thought was going to be a race car.
Starting point is 00:07:12 Not a race car. Still really cool. The pace car was awesome. We wrote around the track, which was unbelievable. So fast. It's a rush. So fun. Oh, head rush.
Starting point is 00:07:22 It's crazy. You like don't think, but you take the turn and your whole body's like, whoa, just go straight to your head. I don't know how they do it for like a billion laps. I'm just feigning adrenaline now. Yeah. Yeah. I got addicted to the run.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Yeah. And then Saturday we had a great day. I got to spend some time on the beach. We went on a big boat. Some might say a yacht. I don't want to say a yacht. All thanks to monster. All thanks to monsters. It was unbelievable we rode jet skis. I won't do the whole shebang because you guys will see the video. And we've also, Ria has made it very clear how much you love jet skis on this podcast. I don't really have to explain it because I know that I annoy some people. So I'm just going to move on with that. You don't. You love Jetskeys. your love for Jeskies is pure. Yeah. When I saw you just like going around having the time of your life, well, I was, I was like kind of done. Not that I was done, but I was like, all right, I've had my fair share on the Jetskies. And you were like, Fran, two more laps. Just give me.
Starting point is 00:08:21 I was like, because I was like one more lap. You were like, two more laps. Please, two more. I was like, okay. I just don't think I've ever been happier than on a jet ski. You really love it. I don't want to get that much into it. But just being in the open water standing up going as fast as I can.
Starting point is 00:08:35 Yeah, I mean, you were flying. You were probably going, like, close to 40 miles an hour. Yeah, I did hit 40 at one. Like, I got close to 30 and almost had almost freaked out. Like, I, what's hard is, it was my, one, it was my first time driving my own jet ski. And so I could feel like I got the hang of it and then, like, go really fast and then get scared and just like, let go of the clutch completely. And then just like abruptly stop. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:01 And that's scary, too, because, you know, the jet ski stinks. So then you're like, oh, my God, I'm draft. Right. The trick is not to look down to see how fast you're going so that you just feel it out. You just got to. You can't get scared. You got to let the jet ski take you. Take you. I was trying to take the jet ski. I don't know when I should have let the jet ski take me. Yeah, you got to let the jet ski ride you. Yeah. Yeah. But after after the amazing yacht experience, which by the way, once again, I don't want to keep saying it. It was a lot of fun. And we came back to our hotel and, you know, we're in Miami and it's like, why wouldn't we be going out? We're in Miami.
Starting point is 00:09:39 We're young. We should take on the town. We spent the whole week planning outfits to hypothetically do nothing, which is what ended up kind of happening. Yeah, we're not really. At least we went out in public. Yeah, we got dressed up in really nice outfits that we thought were Miami-esque. I got some really glitterly, glittery boots. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:01 They're bedazzled. Yeah, they're bedazzled. They're really obnoxious. My Leo really comes out when I wear them, which I say. They're great. And I think they fit. They work, like, for you. Like, I don't think a lot of people can pull those off, but you can pull them off.
Starting point is 00:10:15 Oh, thank you, friend. That's so sweet. So we got dressed up, and we went to dinner with Fran's mom. Yeah. Because we had to go somewhere. So we got all dressed up, and then Fran's mom took us to dinner. And it was so nice. Like we're 12 years old.
Starting point is 00:10:28 No, but it was really nice. It was great. It was very nice. Which was funny, though, because Fran and I should. showed up to the bar of the hotel that we were going to eat at. And you could tell, you know, when people, you know, it's a young scene, people are checking out the scene. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:41 And I see some people looking at us. And then I, and then they see Fran's mom walk over. And they're like, all right. Well, those girls are not partying. They're like, oh, so those girls like must be 17 and they're illegally drinking with her parent who makes it seem like, you know, they're older and, and they can't afford to pay for their own dinner. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:59 It is what it is. It is what it is. I'll be like, oh, like, maybe high school has like a nice little pre- Thanksgiving break or something. Yeah, the girls got out. It's fine. But it was okay because we had an early day and ask her like we said. We had to be up so early. We came back and we got to watch Harry Styles on Saturday Night Live.
Starting point is 00:11:18 We did. We did. Which I'm glad we got to watch live. Let's get into the podcast topics for today. Of course, we're talking about Harry Styles and how much we love him. We're also talking about BravoCon and all of the content. from this weekend and some announcements, Taylor Swift, Scooter of Braun, and Scott Borchetta.
Starting point is 00:11:36 Once again, I said it wrong. You'll hear it in the topic. And we have an amazing interview with Melissa Gorga, so let's get into it starting off with Harry. All right, guys, we're going to get into Harry Styles absolutely dominating Saturday Night Live, but I have to tell you about how I prepared for this trip to Miami. On Friday, I had a new stitch fix box delivered to the office.
Starting point is 00:12:37 I was so excited to open it right. before we left. I got so many great things, two new sweaters that I love, love, and can't wait to wear in New York. It was a little chilly in Miami, but not quite there yet. However, I got the best accessory in this box. They were these super cute little gold cuff earrings from G-O-R-J-A-N-A. I have shopped there before. They are amazing. They have such cute jewelry, and I was so, so happy to see them in my Stitchvix box. It absolutely made my... weekend I have been wearing them all weekend long. Starting point is 00:14:04 That's Stitchfix.com slashchix. Stitchfix.com slash chicks. All right, let's start talking about the most stylish man there is. Harry was so good on Saturday Night Live that I am almost happy that we did not do anything on Saturday nights
Starting point is 00:14:23 and went out to dinner and came home and watched. Yeah, we actually forgot about it for a second and then when we were in bed. Oh, it was perfect. Perfect timing. I looked at the clock and was like, 1130, Harry Styles. Oh, my God, Saturday Night Live! time. But which haven't, I don't think a lot of people have done in a while.
Starting point is 00:14:41 No. 11.30 hits and you're like, oh my God, I must turn on Saturday Night Live. The last time I was excited for Saturday Night Live was when Pete Davidson was dating Ariana Grande. Yeah, yeah, that's very fair. It was like appointment television when that was going on. Oh yeah. Had to turn it on every single weekend. Yeah. See, what's, um, what's funny about it is I really do enjoy Saturday Night Live. So like I know a lot of people think that the show has gone downhill, which it definitely has, but I think I'm just a super cheap laugh and I was, I was really laughing watching it. I could not believe that Fran was genuinely belly laughing
Starting point is 00:15:20 at a Popeye's chicken sandwich skit that was happening on Saturday Night Live. Now listen, I, yeah, I don't want to sound like an old, like, oh, old Saturday Night Live was better because like I am not old enough to be saying that. Totally. But I did go back and watch all of the old Saturday Night Lives. And it just was way funnier. I mean, the stuff they're putting out now is so corny. Yeah. And it's always like a little delayed.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Like it's a little like you're like, oh, you miss this by like a couple weeks. But you know. Right. And it just was funny because you were genuinely laughing at it. I thought it was funny. I was laughing at you laughing at Saturday Night Live. So it kind of seemed like I was laughing at the show, but I was just laughing at you getting so much enjoyment out of this.
Starting point is 00:16:05 And like, we were also silent. Like it was late and we were tired and we were laying in bed next to each other. And I was just like, I kept laughing. And I was like, in my head, I was like, Rea's trying to sleep and I can't stop laughing. I'm probably being so annoying. And then I was like, she's not laughing at all. She doesn't think it's funny. No.
Starting point is 00:16:23 The thing is like, I don't, I truthfully am a very, very, very easy sleeper. Like you could be doing. I'm not really a complainer when it comes to where I'm sleeping as long as I can sleep. Right. So, like, you could watch TV. You can laugh it up. I really don't care. But I just genuinely, like, Harry Styles was amazing.
Starting point is 00:16:42 Oh, my. It's so good. Every single skit. Every performance was so good. Like, he was really good. His accents? Like, this guy does amazing accents. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Every accent, he crushed. And I'm not trying to shade the rest of the cast, like Harry did to Zane. But Harry Styles could be, now this could be going a little far. But Harry Styles could be. have like a residency on Saturday Night Live. Harry Styles could do better than Saturday Night Live. No. Harry Styles could be an award winning actor.
Starting point is 00:17:15 Fair. And Saturday Night Live is such an accomplishment. So all of the comedians on there are, you know, really should be proud of themselves. But I mean, the writing has just, it's just gone down. The cornyness, the cheesiness of the skits. Sometimes I can't take it. I almost laugh at how bad it is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:36 Sometimes it really is funny. Sometimes that's why I laugh too, though. Like they did a recorded sketch segment, whatever you want to call it, of A Bryant, like saying that her best, it was a song. It was her dog's her best friend. And like Harry Siles turned to the dog and they were singing. and I was like, this is so bad that it's funny. And I'm like, where, I was like, this is so ridiculous that I'm laughing. I mean, you were cackling.
Starting point is 00:18:11 And yeah, I laughed at every part. I laughed the whole episode. It was, all right, sorry, I laughed the whole time. It was, it was, I got enjoyment out of listening to your laughter and you were like, I mean, the girl on this TV was like, the dog is my best friend. And it just was so simple as that. And you were knee slapping. and knee slapping at this stupid shit,
Starting point is 00:18:33 which I now am laughing at because looking back at it, it really was so bad that it was funny. I understood where you were coming from with that. But it all goes back to Harry Styles. He did a great job. He did a great job in his monologue. His monologue, he hit like, he has very good comedic timing. Like in that, just in the beginning when he sat down on the piano and he was like,
Starting point is 00:18:53 is one direction here? No, they're not. But are they? Like, he hit it so. well. He crushed his Zane joke. Yeah, he shaded Zane. Obviously, he did the whole, you know, named everybody in the band
Starting point is 00:19:07 except for Zane and then called him Ringo. And then, you know, very funny. And it's a joke that I think you have to make. Like, if you're going to be on S&L, you're part of One Direction, you're going to have a joke about S&L and obvious, I mean, about one, you're going to have a joke about one direction. And the
Starting point is 00:19:23 easiest joke to make is the Zane joke. Right. We were playing Quiplash in the office, which is a game on Twitch, if, you guys play that at all. And one of the prompts was, what will Zane from One Direction be doing in 40 years? And I wrote still not leaving his apartment, but nobody else got the joke. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, it's more of like a pop culture reference.
Starting point is 00:19:44 Right. That was, yeah. I was sure half the room didn't even know who like, they're like Zane from one direction. Who the fuck is that? No, I don't forget what the other person put, but, you know, mine just didn't hit as hard. Right, right. Because if you were sitting there, you'd be like, yep, that makes sense. It made too much sense.
Starting point is 00:19:58 It made too much sense. but he was really so great monologue was great he looked amazing it's the best his hair has ever looked I tweeted it but I just I cannot get over how flawless his hair looked his hair fantastic
Starting point is 00:20:13 unbelievable I sounded amazing I just can't wait until we go to the hair style show in L.A. I'm buying tickets also to I didn't even tell you this he is going on tour and he will be in New York
Starting point is 00:20:29 on July 7th and July 8th and the presale is on Monday today and I will be attempting to purchase tickets if you would like to come I'm getting there for me and my sister. Another pre-sale Yeah I'm gonna
Starting point is 00:20:43 I'm gonna show up a little more prepared this time I will try to enter the waiting room at the appropriate time Yeah you gotta enter 10 minutes early I'm hoping that it's also two nights In New York is like a whole tour So maybe it won't be as crazy But you know wishful thinking on my part as well
Starting point is 00:20:58 so we'll see what happens. But I'm hoping, fingers crossed. I want good. It's cool. It's a really cool stage set up. Instead of like, imagine the arena. And it's like you're looking at it like it's an oval. And normally, you know, you have the stage on one far end.
Starting point is 00:21:12 And then the general mission is the whole rest of it. His stage is like, I'm really, I'm pointing this out to Rio. So this is a horrible podcast. But the stage is in the middle going straight across. from like one short end to the other short end. And there's like a big circle in the middle and then like a runway to the left and a runway to the right.
Starting point is 00:21:35 And so like it's going to be too long, wide general admission pits instead of like one, the stage on one side. So like it'll be a whole 360 view. Right. That's kind of like it's very cool. It's very cool. had his stages just in the middle.
Starting point is 00:21:50 Yeah, yeah. I feel like everybody else surrounded it. Right. Right. And I think a lot of like it's a smart way to do it because even with just a traditional stage, in a stadium like that arena, not stadium, in an arena like that, they sit people behind the stage anyway. So, like, I think it's cool that they've figured out.
Starting point is 00:22:09 Everybody, it seems like everybody will have a good seat. Yes, and I am very excited to go in L.A. He performed his new song on Saturday Night Live, which I loved. Watermelon Sugar. He hasn't, he has to come out with a song I haven't liked in a long time. He's just really nailing it. And the way that he dresses, he is.
Starting point is 00:22:28 A queen and a king. And a king and a queen. He's just like a combination. The whole royal family. Yeah, he just. The fact that if you look at his Instagram and he was posting all the S&L pictures and like one second, you looking at him, you're like he is so sexy no matter what he does. Like he's in a goddamn ballerina outfit. And he looks so hot.
Starting point is 00:22:51 And he looks so good. He is just, I hate saying like he slays. He does. He really slays. everything he does. It's truly awesome to watch. I feel very proud as somebody who's like followed his career from the beginning in one direction, everything, that now he's like, I really think he is going to be such an
Starting point is 00:23:14 incredibly successful adult. I mean, he already is incredibly successful, but I think it's just going to keep growing. I think he can be an award winning actor. Oh, yeah. He can win an Oscar if he really sets his mind to it. I mean, from that S&L performance. Yeah. Imagine when you get some better writing?
Starting point is 00:23:34 Right. So this weekend was BravoCon in New York City, all of your favorite Bravo Leberties. Yeah. Is that the name for it? Bravo Lebris. We're running around New York City. I'm hooking up with who. I'm kind of sad like we weren't in New York during Bramocon.
Starting point is 00:24:11 Just because I feel like it was a great time. You just walked down the street and see. who knows who from from bravo i mean there everybody was there everybody everybody was there and yeah if we were in new york we probably would have went but it just so happened to be the one week and we're not in new york we were in miami yeah but it was really awesome to see all the content that came out of bravo con and of course we have melissa gorga on this episode so i feel like it's very fitting to talk about there were a few announcements one being that stasi got her own digital show yes which i think is awesome it's called basically stasi and you know what i think that out of all the cast members
Starting point is 00:24:47 Right. If anybody deserves it, she does. Yeah, Stasi deserves it. For sure. I mean, we'll have to watch that. I think like the first four episodes are online so we can watch that. And I love Bo's. So anything that Bowes in, I'm going to be watching. Can't wait for that. And there's been a, like, rumored new Housewives franchise.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Everybody guessing what it is. Salt Lake City. Real Housewives of Salt Lake City coming soon. Could be interesting. We thought it was going to be Chicago, which also would have been really good. But Salt Lake City is such a unique place, I feel like. I'm so intrigued. Intrigued by like what it's going to be.
Starting point is 00:25:28 Yeah, I think that they just live like a different lifestyle than what we're used to seeing. You know, we know what people are like in L.A. We know what people are like in Jersey. Right. We know what people are like in New York. And it's like, we know what rich people are like in these places because obviously the housewives, all of them come from well off families. and I just don't really know anything about that dynamic in Utah or Salt Lake City that I'm very interested in what it's going to be like
Starting point is 00:25:54 maybe there's some Mormon things thrown in Mormon shit going on that could really escalate the housewives it really could really could really could I'm very intrigued to see what how the cast is what who the cast is I guess really I'm just yeah this is random but salt lake city was the one capital that i would remember as a kid you know that's the capital utah salt lake city that's a good one i feel like it's just a strong one to remember yeah yeah definitely is three names and i've i always just um i always just think of salt lake city with like winter activities winter sports winter olympics and now i'm going to be able to watch housewives, I'm pretty excited about it. I'm just, I'm also interested to see, like, what the husbands do. Yeah, I feel like ex-husbands, current husbands, whatever they are.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Like, what's going on in Salt Lake City? What kind of relationships do they have there? Chicago, I feel like you can kind of predict. I think it would be very similar to New York. Oh, shit. Will there be one husband with two wives? And then you have real housewives, but. but they actually live together with one husband.
Starting point is 00:27:18 Yeah, sister wives. That'd be some crazy shit. That would be the most viewed housewives. It would. It definitely would. Who knows what Andy Cohen has cooked up his sleeve? But it must be something good. I don't want to,
Starting point is 00:27:30 I feel like I've never seen Andy happier than he was this weekend. He just had everybody in one place. He was thriving, just doing like, watch it happens live with billions of people. I wanted to specifically talk about Shep because Shep's social media from this weekend was truly one of my favorite things ever. Shep is an interesting cat. Shep's Instagram cracks me up so much. He Instagrams like an old man and it just is so funny.
Starting point is 00:28:05 And you want to know why taking selfies with everyone. He also acts like an old man on Instagram. He sends us memes to the Chicks in the Office account. He just sends us random asses. memes that have nothing to do with anything. Just sending us memes. Which I appreciate. It's like a funny uncle. Like I'm just looking at his Instagram stories and he's just having the time of his life taking selfies with Vanderpump and housewives. And he posted like at least three stories about how he was, how he grew up with Teddy
Starting point is 00:28:41 Melanchamp. So if you didn't know, he grew up with Teddy Melanchamp. No, he grew up with Teddy Mellencamp. That was on like a bunch of different stories. And then he also had one that had me dying of him like telling Denise Richards about how like one time when he was young and he saw her on the beach with her old boyfriend. It was like this whole long wedding story that had no purpose. But like he had to tell her. Just thumbs up Shep pretty like.
Starting point is 00:29:03 Shepp has all these like long funny stories that don't really have a point. But you're entertained the entire time he's telling it. Yeah. I feel like Shep looked forward to BravoCon for weeks to come. Oh, my God. Like, he probably had a countdown. Oh, for sure. For sure.
Starting point is 00:29:23 For sure. I think, and that's also why I love the Southern Charm cast so much because I feel like they do love seeing fans and hanging out and just like being part of the group. Like, they just like hanging out with the cool kids. I think they just love to drink and beyond Bravo. They love to drink and beyond Bravo. I mean, we love beer and we love Bravo. I know.
Starting point is 00:29:42 I feel like a lot of. of the Bravo Leberties are like, you know, they love to drink. They love to be on Bravo on Bravo. And BravoCon was just a phenomenal idea. And I'm hoping eventually we'll be able to attend to BravoCon. Shep's in the mirror like beer, bravo and bitches. Let's do this thing. The three Bs of Bravo con.
Starting point is 00:30:02 Yeah, probably. Probably. I know. We should name the podcast, Beer, Bravo and bitches. People be like, uh, what? What happened this weekend? Yeah. Like I got smarter, I got harder in the nick of dime.
Starting point is 00:30:17 Honey, I rose and yours is in red, I'm delined. I check it once. Let I check it twice. Oh, look what you made me do. Look what you just made me do. Look what you just made me do. Oh, look what you made me do. Look what you made me do.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Look what you just made me do. Look what you just made me do. Like we said in the beginning of the podcast, we are in Miami. and although it's had its chilly moments this weekend, it has also been blazing hot when the sun is out, which means we are sweating our pits off. I've had that problem before, but the best way to fix that is with Native.
Starting point is 00:31:00 At Native, they create a simple and safe and effective product that people use in the bathroom every day under their armpits. They create products with trusted ingredients and trusted performance. They're formulated without aluminum and paraben, and they are filled with ingredients found in nature, such as coconut oil. Guys, coconut oil is amazing. So whenever something has coconut oil in it, you should know to trust it.
Starting point is 00:31:22 It also has shay butter. It's a moisturizer and tapioca starch, which absorbs wetness. They never test on animals, and it has free shipping and returns. And the best part about it is that it works. You can make the switch to an aluminum-free deodorant, and it does not mean having to sacrifice your product performance. Less is more with Native. Their formula contains simple ingredients you understand.
Starting point is 00:31:45 So you know everything that's in their deodorant. Like I said, the shay butter and coconut oil, it is so good for you. And Native has something for everybody. It comes with a wide variety of enticing scents for men and women, and they release a new limited edition seasonal scents throughout the year. They also offer an unscented formula and baking soda free formula for those with sensitivities. Their classic deodorant scents include coconut and vanilla, which is their most popular scent, lavender and rose, cucumber and mint, and eucalyptus and mint.
Starting point is 00:32:18 There is no risk to try, so they offer free returns and exchanges in the USA. I personally love the coconut and vanilla favor, just because I feel like coconut and vanilla, you can never go wrong with that. They always smell good. I love a good coconut and vanilla candle, so why not just wear it on my body? And it's effective for me because it makes me stop sweating without all of the bad ingredients, which is very, very important. You can get Native 2 by using code CITO for 20% off your first purchase.

These guys, I mean... I love how you say Borchette. You say like Bruchetta and I'm like And I know Trent Trent smiled like every time you said it on the group chat today
Starting point is 00:33:19 Like it's like it was like Because I'm pretty sure everybody just calls them Scott Borchetta Because it's like the Americanized version But you're hitting him with Scott Borchetta And I and you hit the T so strong every time too It's not even like Scott Borchetta You're like Scott Borchetta I don't want to ask if that's actually him to say it
Starting point is 00:33:37 I don't know if you get offended But I was like that sounds I think it's hilarious. It's like the most Italian, like, she was like, a feud between Taylor Swift against Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta. I honestly, I keep doing it because I'm just not sure if that's correct or not. I think he says Borchetta. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:34:00 All right, well, I like to add a little flare. Yeah, I mean. Yeah, exactly. It does sound like I'm saying Bouchetta. It does. Because that's probably why you're saying it. We talked about this at the restaurant. when we go with her boyfriends and we throw like the Italian flare on it and everyone's like, whoa.
Starting point is 00:34:15 Yeah. I just... Or you do it for like the waiter, the waitress to be like, oh, you know what you're talking about. You speak Italian? They always say that. I'm like, no, I don't. I try. But, um, okay, so the feud continues. Yes, okay. So let me read, um... So it's just Borchetta. Borchetta, yeah. I would... Bortchita. And you still hit that tea. Borchetta. You know what you should do on the group chat, Noah, when you edit it? Like, make the family guy. You know, the scene and family guy? Which one?
Starting point is 00:34:42 When he's like, bibbidi-bobbidi. He's like, anybody can speak Italian. Yeah. And because now on the group chat, everybody, everybody who watches the group chat now are going to be like, this girl just become Italian midway through the topic. It's funny because it literally, it was just that one word crack me up. You'll have to ask Trenge about it because Trent, like, I could see Tren out of the corner of my eye just be like, it's like just like a small smile.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Like, oh, she's doing it. She did again. We'll have to talk about it after because now I have the giggles. Okay, moving on. All right, so Taylor sort of dropped this kind of like bombshell statement last night. She said God, it's been announced recently that the American Music Awards will be honoring me with the Artist of the Decade Award at this year's ceremony. I've been planning to perform a medley of my hits throughout the decade on the show. Scott Bichetta and Scooter Braun have now said that I'm not allowed to perform my old songs on television because they claim that would be re-recording my music before I'm allowed to next year.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Additionally, and this isn't the way I had planned on telling you this news, Netflix has created. created a documentary about my life for the past few years. Scott and Scooter have declined the use of my older music or performance footage for this project, even though there is no mention of either of them or big machine records anywhere in the film. Scott told my team that they'll allow me to use my music only if I do these things. If I agree to not re-record copycat versions of my song next year, which is something I'm both legally allowed to do and looking forward to, and also told me,
Starting point is 00:36:05 and also told my team that I need to stop talking about him in Scooter Brom. I feel very strongly that sharing what is happening to me could change the awareness level for other artists and potentially help them avoid a similar fate. The message being sent to me is very clear. Basically be a good little girl and shut up or you'll be punished.
Starting point is 00:36:22 This is wrong. Neither of these men had a hand in the writing of these songs. They did nothing to create the relationship I have and my fans. So this is where I'm asking for your help. Please let Scott and Scooter know how you feel about this. Scooter also manages several artists who I really believe care about other artists and their work.
Starting point is 00:36:38 ask them to help with this. I'm hoping that maybe they can talk some sense into the men who are exercising tyrannical control over something, over someone who just wants to play the music, she wrote. I'm especially asking for help from the Carlisle group who put money for the sale of my music to these two men. I just wanted to be
Starting point is 00:36:54 able to perform my own music. That's it. I've tried to work this out privately through my team, but have not been able to resolve anything right now by performance at the AMAs, the Netflix documentary, and any other recorded events I am planning to play until November of 2020 are a question mark. I love you guys and I thought you should know what's been going on, Taylor.
Starting point is 00:37:10 That was a mouthful. That was way longer than I thought I was going to be. I'm not going to lie. Are you out of breath? Yeah, it was a way longer statement than I thought. Yeah. Well, first of all, I read this and was like, this is a bunch of bullshit. I was angry for her when I read this.
Starting point is 00:37:24 I just don't get it. We talked about this when she talked about it before. She wrote her music. She sang her music. This is her music. And she's not even allowed to perform it. And now they're saying that she is allowed to perform. It's a whole back and forth.
Starting point is 00:37:39 Big machine came out with their own statement, basically saying that they have, at no point did they tell Taylor that she could not perform on the AMA's or block her Netflix special. They had this whole long thing that they basically denied, deny, deny, deny. They haven't done anything. Then they spin it on Taylor.
Starting point is 00:37:55 It was like Taylor's endangering the livelihood of the people that work for these record labels, kind of like sicking her fans on them pretty much. You know, like the way they wrote it made it seem like, oh, like, you know, Taylor's fans are so dedicated that she is putting other people's livelihoods in jeopardy now that she's kind of not they see it as like ordering an attack. I think she worded it very well. She was like, tell these people, you know, what you think, tweet at them, you know, obviously get your, get your
Starting point is 00:38:26 opinion out. That's the only way things are, things are going to change. And, you know, they were worried about, they said that they were worried about the safety of their employees and their families. They said the narrative you have created does not exist. This whole long thing. They said the truth is Taylor has admitted to contractually owing millions of dollars and multiple assets to our company, which is responsible for 120 hardworking employees who have bolded her career. So now they're also saying Taylor owes them money that she hasn't paid them.
Starting point is 00:38:57 And it's like, it's just a whole disaster. When are you ever paying your record label or agency though? I have no idea. I feel like the one thing that I learned is that you should never be paying. the depths of their Right. The depths of the contract problems that they have.
Starting point is 00:39:13 They get a share of your contract but like actually paying services or whatnot like that doesn't exist. So I feel like it's a little unclear what they're talking about. So then we wrap it up by saying they wrapped it up by Taylor Swift
Starting point is 00:39:27 and her publicist releasing a new statement this morning in response to Big Machine saying that the truth is on October 28th the vice president of rights management and business affairs from Big Machine Label Group sent Taylor Swift's team the following.
Starting point is 00:39:42 Please be advised that BMLG will not agree to issue licenses for existing recordings or waivers of its re-recording restrictions in connection with these two projects, the Netflix documentary and the Alibaba double 11 event. To avoid any arguments over rights, Taylor performed three songs offer new album, Lover at the Double 11 event, as it was clear that Big Machine Label group
Starting point is 00:40:03 felt any televised performance of catalog songs violated her agreement. In addition yesterday, Scott, blah, blah, blah, his title, flatly denied the request for both American Music Awards and Netflix. Please notice in Big Machine statement they never actually deny either claim Taylor said last night in her post. Lastly, Big Machine is trying to deflect and make this about money by saying she owes them, but an independent professional auditor has determined that Big Machine owes Taylor $7.9 million of unpaid royalties over several years.
Starting point is 00:40:33 So now they're both saying each other, they owe each other money, says they owe her money. Big Machine says Taylor owes them money. It's a disaster. It's a disaster, but I don't understand. Like, I don't think Taylor Swift is lying about this. It seems very clear what's going on. Why would she say they're not letting me use my music, but they are? Like, I don't think she would just say that. She's a smart girl. Yeah. And she knows, I think she's very aware of the power that her fans have and what they are capable of doing. I don't think she would put out a whole statement that is so heavily against these two men who she knows, like, her fans are going to maybe not go after in a way,
Starting point is 00:41:11 but they will make their voices heard in some way or another for sure. Without like just making it up, just making it up out of thin air. Like if she was able to perform her songs at the AMAs, she would have just done it. She would never release a statement or like it's kind of insane to think that she just like made that up. Maybe Big Machine is trying to get around it and like saying that they didn't say it. Maybe they implied to Taylor that she wasn't allowed to do it.
Starting point is 00:41:36 I mean, they just seem like they're trying to control everything when it comes to old music, no matter what. I think they're wrong when it comes down to it. There's really nothing else to say besides this really sucks for Taylor Swift. And Selena Gomez and Gigi and all her friends have jumped in and they're all sticking up because, you know, it's hard to voice your opinion when these people also work in the same industry as you. So it's good to see that the people in the industry are also sticking up for Taylor Swift because obviously this is wrong. like if you look at this and you're like, oh, no, they're right. Yeah. Then I don't know what to tell you because that's just unfair. What if, how would you feel if somebody was like, no, you can't perform your own stuff?
Starting point is 00:42:14 It's crazy. It's really. And I understand people are so hardo about like the contract and she signed it and this is, you know, her own doing. Okay, I understand that. But taking it to the extremes of like she's getting the artist of the decade award and she can't sing one minute of fearless while she's on stage. Yeah. It blows my mind. I also think that they're now very afraid of her because she is going to re-record all of her old music and it's probably going to dominate.
Starting point is 00:42:41 It's going to dominate because everybody knows that she wasn't allowed. So it adds another layer. If she was just, you know, obviously if she was just re-recording, it would still be good. But now that everybody knows that this is the thing, people are going to love it even more. Yeah. Because she's sticking it to them. You know, obviously, we've been waiting for the Justin Bieber reaction. He posted a screenshot of the TMZ article with the headline, Taylor Swift, free to play all of her.
Starting point is 00:43:04 hits during AMA's Big Machine can't stop her. Basically, like the Big Machine execs gave a statement to TMZ saying that she can 100% perform all of her music. They have no issue with it. Our confusion with her statement is that we have no legal right to stop this and have never tried. She and her team both know this. So Justin just posted like a screenshot of that. I'm like, oh God, Justin, why? Why does he always get involved? Just don't get involved. I don't know, because he feels the need to come to Scooter's defense, which I understand, but He just needs to stay out of it. He always says something before Scooter does.
Starting point is 00:43:37 He just really, really needs to stay out of it. And I know, like, Taylor kind of put a call to action to other artists to step in and get involved. So, of course, Justin's going to get involved. But on the other side of the argument. It just makes him look bad when everybody else is, you know, supporting Taylor. Starting point is 00:46:00 Don't worry about it. All right, everyone, we are here with Melissa Gorga from the Real Housewives of New Jersey. The new season, season 10, premiered last week. Wednesdays 8 p.m. We are so excited to have you here. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:46:14 I remember watching when you first came in and it's like so much has changed. And just coming from an Italian family, I feel like I know you. Well, you know what? The thing is you probably do. You do. We don't really have many scenes.
Starting point is 00:46:28 We kind of put it all out there. So you do know me. So how are you? See, have I aged? Am I like, that was 10 years ago, by the way, when I first came on. You look the same, I will say. Still beautiful as ever. I'm probably 10 years older at this point, but great. And Fran is also from New Jersey. I am. Are you? What part? I grew up in Chatham. Oh, did you? Okay, that's not far from where I am. No. And I have, it's funny because I had so many friends. Like, I I'm from an Italian family, but I grew up, like, it's very Irish Catholic, like, in that area. Okay. And so it's funny because I went to private high school.
Starting point is 00:47:04 And so everybody came from, like, up by you guys. I was, they were like, I was like, this is what I'm missing. Like, I didn't get this. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. No, Jersey's good. I always say there's something in the water.
Starting point is 00:47:15 It makes us all a little crazy and passionate and all these good and bad things at the same time. Yeah. I remember when I was going to acting school when I was younger, I met a great. girl who's from Franklin Lakes. And I was like, oh, my God, you are near the real house. So New Jersey. That's amazing. Do they live around the block?
Starting point is 00:47:31 Do you know them? Yes, that's what everyone says. If they hear Franklin Lakes, they're like, yeah, yeah, everyone assumes. Go to your school. Yeah. Yeah. So last season, season nine, everyone, the family ended, you know,
Starting point is 00:47:44 everyone was on good terms. But obviously the cliffhanger about Joe, and now it's still kind of a cliffhanger. And they were just in Italy last week. They, the kids visited him. Teresa visit him. Have you guys talked to him at all? We've talked to him just like over the phone a little bit, but obviously we're not seeing him anytime soon because he's in Italy. But the, the good part about it is the girls were so happy that they got to like sit at a dinner table with their mother and their father because they probably haven't done that in close to five years.
Starting point is 00:48:12 Right. Four and a half years, you know? So I think it was, the trip was really for the children. Right. I feel like obviously there's so much drama around it and there was this Andy Cohen special and everything. But when I saw all of Gia's Instagrams, I was like, this is what matters. I was like she's so happy just to spend time with her dad who she doesn't see it.
Starting point is 00:48:36 And we're like kind of forgetting that part of it. I think we do forget that. And everyone's so focused on like, as Teresa and Joe going to stay together and he's together. But like everyone's forgetting like it's about the borders. It's about the girls. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:48:47 So yeah, that's definitely some drama that's been happening in, you know, our family. Yeah. It's sad but true. Yeah. Yeah. But the trip went well. Or did you, have you gotten update about the trip?
Starting point is 00:48:59 I mean, the trip was really for the girls. It wasn't so much about, I mean, obviously, you know, everyone knows the cameras were rolling too. So everyone's probably going to see exactly how it went. But yeah, I think, you know, it went well. The girls were so happy. And that's what, like, made everyone, you know, made everyone's hearts feel full. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:49:17 That the girls had their mom and their dad together. Yeah, that's great. And I'm sure everybody's asking you, like, what do you think's going to happen with Teresa and Joe, but once again, you're like, this is the only thing that really matters is that the girls are happy and being taken care of. I said it's time and time again, if he lives in Italy, how do you, yeah, and it's already, you know, like, I don't know. You never know.
Starting point is 00:49:36 You never know until she decides or he decides, but it's, it's definitely going to be difficult to stay together if he lives in Italy. I mean, totally. For anybody. For anybody. I mean, even if you have the best relationship, I think I would struggle with that. Long distance is hard for any relationship. Of course.
Starting point is 00:49:52 in a different country. Yeah. It's like insane. It's in oceans away. Right. And we've watched your relationship with Teresa change from season to season. And it seems like it's gotten so much better. It has.
Starting point is 00:50:05 Where do you guys stand now? And is it hard to balance kind of like being with the girls and them talking? But then also you guys are family. You kind of have to be on her side. Yeah. So I've gotten to the point with Teresa where, thank God, I can kind of speak my. piece and kind of say what I think is right and wrong and she knows that I don't always agree with her and to be honest she doesn't always agree with me either and we're good with that we're not at the point
Starting point is 00:50:31 where it's like all right we're going to have this huge knockdown blowout fight and then we're not going to have you know we just don't go that deep anymore we don't agree and we get annoyed with each other which I think it's very common with sister-in-laws and mixing of families and you do it this way and I do it that way and we struggled with that for so many years but we've gotten to a point where we can argue, we can disagree, but we're not going to not have Sunday dinner together. We're not going to disrupt our children's lives and her father's life. And, you know, when we lost my mother-in-law, it really does put things into perspective. Even when she went away to prison, it puts things in perspective.
Starting point is 00:51:07 So it's just that. And you'll see we disagree a lot on season 10. We really do because we have different friend groups. Like I tend to agree. The cast seems very divided this season. So it's really a crazy season. that way. And there's a lot of truth this season. So for someone like you, who has watched it since it started, there was a lot of rumors going on and like open-ended things about cheating allegations,
Starting point is 00:51:32 about different things that we do answer. And we finally have the guts to say like what everybody was thinking, it's true. Like, this is what happened. And so you'll get a lot of answers and honesty. This is a very honest season. And I think that it's super relatable because like you said, you're putting this all on camera. And I mean, every family has their. drama, especially sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws. Everybody fights like that and you think it's just your family until you watch. And you're like, okay, everybody's dealing with this.
Starting point is 00:52:00 Oh my God, we make everyone feel better. Everybody. Everyone feels better about their Thanksgiving and their Christmas Eve and like whatever else they need to go to because they're like, no, no, no, I think they're actually worse than us. So we're good. We're in good shape. So it's like, yeah, and if that's what we give people, if that's what we give back, I know there's such a
Starting point is 00:52:16 negative reality, negative karma about reality TV sometimes. But I feel like I do people a service if you ask me. I feel like I am serving the people. I would agree. And the trailer you said to Teresa, you were like, someone who was talking about
Starting point is 00:52:31 how you guys fight and you were like, we're good except when Teresa's being a bitch. And I just love that. You could just be honest about that. I have to be honest. And I'm at the point where she'll look at me, but did you just say that? I'm like, yes. Yes, I did. And guess what? It's the truth. So like, stop. And she's like, where before it would take us
Starting point is 00:52:47 like, maybe before I just didn't have the guts. I didn't, I was like, you know, I was like an outsider in the family, you know, so I'm not their same blood. So I would like shut my mouth a lot and take it. And I got to the point now. I don't know if it just comes when you're older and you're wiser. But I'm like, no, actually you're wrong. So just shut up.
Starting point is 00:53:05 Yeah. And we love to see that. Yeah. And I'm like, there's no going back. Even with my husband, I just think from the second I started season three to now season 10, I have done like a complete 180. I'm a different person now. I really am.
Starting point is 00:53:19 I'm just a different person. Yeah. In a good way, I like to thank you. I'm a lot more independent. I, you know, my skin's a lot thicker. I say what I want. I'm now in business and work a lot. So it's just, I have a different lifestyle now than I did back then.
Starting point is 00:53:32 Yeah. And like you said, you've been working a lot. And we kind of saw that at the beginning of the first episode. You're kind of hanging out with the kids. You're like kids are older, but you're balancing being in New York, picking out clothes for your store envy. So like there's so much going on. How do you kind of balance the family life and the work life?
Starting point is 00:53:51 Yeah. You know what? I think that was my biggest challenge and that especially just having a really old school traditional Italian husband, Joe, you know, and it was also, listen, it's partly my fault. That's how I went into the marriage. Like, oh, yes, I'm going to cook and clean and raise these cute little kids and make sure there's never any snot coming out of their nose while you go to work. And then I started to realize like, yeah, no, I mean, I want to also take care of my children's, but I have, I have goals. Yeah. So it was really hard to break into that and explain to my family. No, no, I'm going to be able to do both. Just give me a minute to figure it. out. And to be honest, I'm still figuring it out all the time. I'm bouncing people. I'm bouncing phone calls all day long. I'm figuring out where my kids are and who's at the doctor. And like, you know, I need help now where I never did before and I would never give into it. But I've realized that I am such a better person when I feel fulfilled. And when I know that like, not only Joe is going to work to build his buildings and whatever it is that he aspired to do in life, but like now I have what I love. And I love envy. And envy keeps me so busy. I mean, my online is
Starting point is 00:54:48 insane and because of the show I have to give you know bravo props for that people see I only really wear things that come from Envy and you know people are just on the website all day long and buying it all so it works for me you know it's a really great business and it's something that I love to do yeah you're wearing an outfit from Envy right now I have to say I love it you posted a picture in a hot pink blazer that I need
Starting point is 00:55:10 oh my God so cute so cute so everybody check it out tell them where they can look it's envy by m g.com yeah cutest stuff the cutest like for outerwear right now for this season oh my god I'm like the outerwear queen everything that's in style right I didn't need to hear it because I'm having a coat
Starting point is 00:55:28 problem recently all I can do is stare at coats I'm like I want that coat I want this coat no that's my thing like poncho's coats vest for like all it fofer all this fun stuff like I that's all me oh man I'm going on after and everyone else should too
Starting point is 00:55:43 you actually brought up the fact you know Joe was an old school husband and last season it was brought up because he was saying that he'd rather you be at home when you want to be at work. How is that like when that's broadcast on TV? Because obviously, you know, he means well. But then there's other people who are like, oh, you know, he's telling you what to do. Yeah. Joe took a hit the last couple seasons because he was speaking his truth. And to be honest, it's a woman's world right now. And, you know, we're, views are changing. And he took a really long time to understand that.
Starting point is 00:56:18 And he got a lot of heat when he said, you bring home the crumbs and I bring home the cake. And when he said all these things, and I'm like, oh, what's happening? My crumbs are turning into a cake, aren't they? So, like, it's just, you know, I fought him on that a lot. I had to battle him a lot to prove to him
Starting point is 00:56:33 that my work is just as important as his work. And that, like, if we need a sitter because I need to go to work, that's just as important as the fact that when he needs one. So it took me a really long time. Like it really did to like, but I think he gets it now. Yeah. It's a good learning.
Starting point is 00:56:51 It's a good learning experience for him. And understand that like I am not taking no for an answer. I'm not backing down. I had the help of the fans constantly tweeting him and telling him you are wrong. Yeah. Like let this woman live. And, you know, and he's such a good guy. It's hard not to love Joe.
Starting point is 00:57:06 He's the most lovable, goodhearted man in the world. He just likes to keep his wife close to home, which, you know. He's an old school Italian thing. He does it all out of love. He's an amazing. person, he just, it took me a while to break that way of thinking, you know, where I had to, like, I have mom guilt all the time. I have three children. Like, I have mom guilt. I got married very young. I had babies very young. So I'm a young mom. And, you know, I have a daughter in high school.
Starting point is 00:57:32 Like, I have a freshman, you know, so it's crazy for me. And it's like, I get the mom guilt. And then I feel like he used to, like, apply the pressure. He's like, but you're a mother. Yeah. You know, I don't know that you should go to the Jacob Jabbit Center today to buy clothes for envy because you have to cook dinner tonight. I'm like, no, no, actually I'm going to do both. Yeah. Watch me. You could do it all. It took me a while to get there, but. Well, I'm glad that he has gone to that point where he sees what you're doing and is proud of you. And you mentioned your kids are getting older, high school now. Oh my God. Yeah, I have one in high school and I have one in fourth grade. So we're like, I have one in elementary, one in middle school and one at
Starting point is 00:58:07 high school. And you guys were kind of joking in the first episode about how they don't, they're kind in that like make fun of mom. Oh my God. My daughter are like the least coolest. the least cool person ever. I know. And I'm like, hello. Like, I'm the coolest mom in the school. What are you talking about? But, like, the more that I think I'm cool, the more that my daughter's like, oh, my God. She'll get over there. How many eye rolls a day? I mean, like, I do remember I'm getting it all back because I don't know about you girls, but like middle school for me, like eighth grade, seventh, eighth grade, I was a beast. I was. I remember looking at my mom like, don't tell me what to do, where to go, how to go, like staring at boys. That's when you start to, like, Every teenage girl. Yes. And so she's in that mode. So I'm like, I'm going to give you a pass. But sometimes I look at her.
Starting point is 00:58:51 I'm like, you good? Like, why's your face? Like, it's not wrong with your face? Like, why are you staring at me? Like, you good? Fix your face. She's just like, oh my God. She gives me a run for my money.
Starting point is 00:59:01 But she's good. She's a good kid. See, I feel like if you were my mom, I'd be like, oh, my cool mom is coming to pick me off from school. Right. But I think she does that. I feel like her friends probably think you're cool. They do.
Starting point is 00:59:10 And honestly, like, so she won't show me when we're alone that she thinks I'm cool, but I noticed like when her friends are around, she's like, mom, let's put it. And she like, she like snaps me. She puts me on her snap. I'm like, oh, I'm cool enough for your Snapchat though, right? She's using you for the clout. Yeah. It's like, you can't.
Starting point is 00:59:25 How about my little one? My little one made like, I guess it's a TikTok or something or whatever. I don't know. He did something where he had to like talk into it. And he's like, what's up guys? It's me, Joey. You know, you know, you might catch me on the Real Housewives of New Jersey. because I'm like fancy and famous like that and I was like like we
Starting point is 00:59:44 we passed this little video around my I was like what is this like so it's really funny it's really really funny like fancy and famous yeah he's like eight years old making this video we were dying that so yeah I mean listen we have a lot of I have I'm very lucky I have like we have a very I'm very like fun I'm fun spirited I'm very young spirited I don't know I just like we live you know so I'm taking it all. I'm enjoying it all. I know it's like going to be it's a fun little ride. It's been a longer ride than I thought and I don't you know thank God like season 10 is huge for us. Yeah. And the show this season is so fun. It really is. It's fun. Like I just watched the second episode and
Starting point is 01:00:25 it's hilarious. Like I enjoy watching our show. So that's a good thing. That is definitely good thing. Because I know we've talked to a lot of people who, you know, have, have their reality shows and whatnot and they're like, oh my God, I can't watch. It's just, it's too brutal and they can't. watch. Right. Well, sometimes we get seasons that are that are like a little rougher than others. I think this one's a great one. It has a little bit of everything. That's all wow. I'm very excited. And the trailer looked amazing. And at the end of the trailer, we see you and Jennifer get into a fight. But I saw that you posted a picture with her only a few days ago. So where are you guys at right now? Yeah, we were at Good Morning America
Starting point is 01:01:01 for press. She pisses me off and I let her know when she pisses me off. Like she can be so extremely rude sometimes and vile with what she says and like ignorant a little bit and like I just look at her and I tell her and then she you know you'll have to watch the episode to see what she does to get me there but like she never ceases not to get me there like it's like she always gets me there you know and you know me like if you know me I'm not like that it takes a lot to really get me crazy and she tends to do it every time she has a shot of tequila I swear to God that girl cannot like drink keila does that for a lot of people It makes her crazy.
Starting point is 01:01:39 Why I drink vodka. I'm like, just stick to vodka girls. I'm the fun drunk. True. Tequila does make everyone crazy. Kila, including myself. Changes things up a lot.
Starting point is 01:01:50 And I see that from Jennifer sometimes because like, and even in the first episode when she was kind of deflecting, it was like, I'm a comedian. I make jokes. I'm like, no, no. You call himself a comedian. When you're not a real comedian. I mean, come on. It's like, no.
Starting point is 01:02:03 I know. I laughed at that. That's the common theme I feel like across the board, though, with some housewives where they will say they are something that they're not yet. They're not. Right. Right. Right. Yeah. So that's, yeah. Well, I mean, that's what makes a good housewife. Those always make the best ones. So, yeah, I mean, she thinks she's funny, but a lot of times we tell her that we don't think she's funny. So, yeah. Well, that's good. Yeah. And she, you know, she's relatively new to the scene. So is Jackie. How do you think they have adjusted to being on the show? I think they're adjusting. I do like them for our cast. I feel like our cast is great right now.
Starting point is 01:02:36 We have a really good, like, tight cast where Jersey is the hardest to cast because of Teresa and I. It's like a family. Right. You know, it's like we've been there. We're kind of the staples. And it's like very hard to mix people into us if you're not in the fam. Right. But we have a cast right now that I feel like with Dolores and Margaret, everybody is amazing.
Starting point is 01:02:55 So we're good. That's great. That's great to hear. Yeah. Very happy to hear. Very excited to watch the rest of the season. Thank you so much for coming. Everybody watch season 10 every single Wednesday night.
Starting point is 01:03:06 8 p.m. on Bravo and check out clothing line envy envy by MG. And where the store's in Montclair? It's in Montclair. Yeah. So if you're in New Jersey, check it out in Montclair and you can check out the website. I'm there all the time by the way. Oh so if you want to meet to show up. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 01:03:23 You're welcome. All right guys, that wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office. Thank you all for listening and have a great week. Could this be Earth? Could this be light? Does this mean everything's going to be all right? One look out my window, there's trees talking like people. I dreamt of storms, I dreamt of sound, I dreamt of gravity, keeping us around.
Starting point is 01:04:07 I slept in the darkness, it was lonely, and it was silent. What is this love? I don't feel the same. Don't believe what this is could be given a name. I walk you were there, tracing planets on my forehead. But I forget 23, like I forget, 17 and I'll forgive my
Starting point is 01:04:43 first love like you'll forget a daydream and what of all my wild friends and the times I've had with them will all fade to gray soon on the TV station
