Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. This is state of America. What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne, friend giving you that Friday energy on a Friday. Big Friday energy.
Starting point is 00:00:30 Big Friday energy. What a week. What a week this has been. Busy week for us. We were really busy. Very busy. good guess, good banter. Love some banter.
Starting point is 00:00:42 Love some good banter. I hope everyone enjoyed the Katie and Blake interview and the cash interview. We were really excited about those two. Really? Interviews, obviously, because they're topical right now. People are love and love Island and people maybe didn't love the Bachelorette, but they want to know. Yeah. You know, they want to hear from Katie and Blake themselves.
Starting point is 00:01:00 So I think it was a good episode on Wednesday. Absolutely. We've been going back and forth with our girl Emily Moynes I think we got Emily Moynes has got to come on the show She has to and I'm also Making sure my family knows
Starting point is 00:01:15 We told her she's got to come on We're going to Thanksgiving at their house this year She extended the invite And there's the thing Content wise, us going to Thanksgiving Here's the thing that we can No but here's the thing with what we can get away with Having our normal Thanksgiving
Starting point is 00:01:30 And going to Canada for Canadian Thanksgiving Wait, when is Canadian? Two different holidays. Do you know when it is? I'm going to look it up right now. Imagine Trent's at the head of the table. Oh, that would be beautiful. Monday, October 11th.
Starting point is 00:01:44 So it's even sooner. We're getting two Thanksgiving. It's soon. It's soon and I've never been to Canada. Not to get excited, but I do think that is in between Paradise Ending and Michelle's season starting. I think that one week. I think we are available on that Monday. I think we may be available on that Monday.
Starting point is 00:02:03 Emily. we're coming for Canadian and I've never been to Canada so I would just love that what's an update on your life Fran how's it going this week? Well it's been very busy I have a Thursday night wedding which is something I've never
Starting point is 00:02:21 been to before but I'm very excited about it something new it's a it's dressy it's formal so I'm really you know dressing up which I feel like I haven't done in a very long time I'm excited that's awesome I'm excited for for you. I feel like I'm living through you for this wedding. Yeah. That's very exciting. Love a Thursday night
Starting point is 00:02:38 shin dig. Exactly. I feel like summer Thursdays are so fun anyway. Why not make it a wedding? Why not? I agree. I'm going to reel it in this Thursday. Actually, though. I drove my car into the city, so I'm going to drive at home. Forced yourself to have to drive home. I did that on purpose.
Starting point is 00:02:53 That's smart. Yes. That's smart. This week's episode of my life? Good one. Good one. That's good one. The end of... Lots of cameos more than the show, Dave.
Starting point is 00:03:08 Yeah. Really holding on to the end of this month. Like, I just always keep thinking of Dave's tweet from like the beginning of August. That was like, who the fuck said summer's over? Like, hold on, people. It's August. We still got August. Like, let's go.
Starting point is 00:03:27 I know, because everybody, August is the... And I think I've said this before on this show or on radio or something. But August is like the... Sunday of months. It is. We're all you can talk about is the next. September is underrated. September is awesome. Right now it's too hot in my mind.
Starting point is 00:03:42 Like, imagine it being in the 70s. Like, you don't not sweating everywhere you are. I would like it for it to be a little cooler. It is stupid hot in Manhattan. You feel like you're swimming down the sidewalk. Like the air is so thick. Can I say that I am excited to experience my life now in the fall and winter? Does that make sense?
Starting point is 00:04:03 Of course. Because I feel like you're experiencing a new life. And yes, there are seasons. So I hope you will change as the seasons change. That's what I'm saying. This summer has been awesome. I want to keep that energy for the fall and winter. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:23 You know. Easy. Easy. Hoping things, you know, hoping things stay where they are right now. I'm talking like COVID-wise. Like it's been, you know, it's, we're up in the air with things and, you know, the Delta, the Lambda. It's back to like, I, well, you know, there are much, you know, more cities are going back to the mask mandates indoors. So we're, it still, it feels like we're in a little bit of a TBD limbo, like what exactly is the fall going to look like.
Starting point is 00:04:52 We'll find out soon enough, but definitely keeping the same mentality. There's been a happiness. I feel like just a happier mood. Yeah, for sure. that we will for sure be putting into the coming months. But, yeah, August is, August is great, though. It's such a good. Let's not keep talking about the fact that it's August, okay?
Starting point is 00:05:17 No, I know. I'm trying to not even think about what month it is. I'm trying to hype up August a little bit. I really love August. There's no ounce to you that, like, or we've had this discussion. I think Trent was here of, like, favorite seasons. Fall is so good. We've talked about this.
Starting point is 00:05:29 I don't usually love fall, but I'm excited for this fall. I feel like I'm going to have a great fall. Yeah. And that's... Autumn. Autumn is if you prefer... If you prefer it to call it autumn. That's like a nicer.
Starting point is 00:05:40 If you prefer autumn. Yeah. Or poetic way. Yeah. I'm excited for this fall, even though who knows what's going to happen. But let's just keep the positive vibes going, right? Yeah. The more I talk about August, the Taylor Swift song just plays in my head.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Like every time I say the word August, then it starts to play in my head, I think. I did a thing on my Instagram story last night where it was like post a picture of or whatever. People were like post a picture of your parents. So I put a picture up of my old... an old picture of my parents. And everybody was responding that my dad looks like a buff Ross from friends. And I could not be laughing. And my dad, he goes, this is the fun part about living with my parents again,
Starting point is 00:06:20 is that when I post something, I could pretty much expect a reaction out of my parents. Yeah, yeah. Like immediate. Immediate. Can we put the picture up there? Yeah, we could put the picture up. So on YouTube. So if you're watching on YouTube, you can get the visual of my.
Starting point is 00:06:32 my dad, aka Buff Ross and Friends, aka Ross's older Buff brother, who's Italian. My dad goes, can I tell you are friends at the pool? That's what they call me in Florida. So apparently... He's been keeping it a secret?
Starting point is 00:06:47 He's been keeping it a secret because his least favorite character on Friends is Ross. So this is a lot of them to handle. But he really does. It's the eye. eyebrows the eyebrows the smile the whole thing the whole thing really well can i tell you guys i used to have a vendetta against david swimmer well yeah because don't you have some kind of uh you i think i audition
Starting point is 00:07:16 for a movie yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah he was the director i got a call back i was on like a video call with david swimmer on the other side of it yeah and i was the youngest girl to audition for the movie granted the girl who got it was a lot older than me and it was probably the best case scenario because it was a movie about a girl who meets a guy online and then she, you know, you know what happens after that. And I was so young that it wouldn't really make sense for me to be, I don't know, whatever, that's besides the point. But I, they like really hyped me up in that room being like, you nailed that.
Starting point is 00:07:48 Like, I really thought I had it. And then after that, I was like, fuck David Swimmer. Good movie, though. It's called Trust. But I had a vendetta against David Swimmer, not so much anymore because he's my father. But, yeah. Buff Ross Buff Ross
Starting point is 00:08:02 That's really Also Rob Reiner I used to hate him too Rob Reiner Because he was also another director Of a film that I You know That was an unreal
Starting point is 00:08:11 I held a lot of Anger in me as a kid Towards these people That you know There was a bunch of kids auditioning Rob Reiner is a Is it classic I love Rob Reiner
Starting point is 00:08:22 Listen I love Rob Reiner I respect Rob Reiner As a kid Yeah I was pissed off of Rob Reiner for not put me In his movie Which movie?
Starting point is 00:08:29 It was called I gotta find the name of it Fuck I'm blanking It was like No no no no It was like a horse movie And the girl You Sammy Hanratty
Starting point is 00:08:42 You remember her She was Yes you do If I show you She always played the evil little girl In all the Disney shows Like Sweet Life is acting Cody Oh yeah
Starting point is 00:08:55 Yep yep yep yeah I gotta find the name of the movie now Because I'm blanking Even though people don't care about this But that's okay I'm just gonna find it anyway you can cut all this out Oh
Starting point is 00:09:07 The name of the movie was The Greening of Whitney Brown Hmm never heard Oh wait no that wasn't the Rob Reiner one I'm gonna have to find the Rob Reiner one He didn't direct that one Anyways who gives a fuck I like Rob Reiner
Starting point is 00:09:19 I like David Swimmer And I like Rob Reiner now But topical because we will be talking about David Swimmer later on in the show We got a big show for everybody We have Nikki Glazer on today's episode We love her We also have the Lady Gang
Starting point is 00:09:33 and we love all of them. This is really a jam-pack episode of women that we love. We're also going to be talking about Ashton Couture, Emilio Kuhna's funny video on Ashton's Instagram, Machine Gun Kelly, what is going on with his hair? And our boy, David Swimmer and Jennifer Aniston, rumors they were dating, but they're not. We'll clear it up for everybody. And before we get into the topics, there is something that you brought up that you wanted to talk about that you didn't bring up.
Starting point is 00:09:57 So I'm going to bring it up. The Powerpuff Girls. Oh, I did want to talk about this. I actually have it pulled up right here. So I was really excited about the Power Puff reboot on the CW because we love Dove Cameron. She's been on the show. I'm a fan of her, follow her.
Starting point is 00:10:11 And she was casted as bubbles. And ever since then, I've been like attracted to this show. Like what's happening with it, whatever. Right. I'm also just curious as to how they would turn this into like an actual show. Right. That people would take seriously and not think is ridiculous. Well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:25 I think they're struggling with that. Which is the problem. Yeah, exactly. Because they filmed the pilot. And then the pilot did not get picked up. It was called a quote, a miss. Yes, the CEO, Mark, he called the first pilot a miss, and they wanted to rework it. And they originally had Chloe Bennett, who was going to star as Blossom in the rework of the show.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Now reports are saying she stepped down because of scheduling conflict with another show, another show, another movie, something else that she was tied to, according to this situation. To me, the vibe I'm getting, considering they have. had to rework the show. It was a miss. And she is the main Blossom. She's the main character. I mean, they're all the main character.
Starting point is 00:11:08 But Blossom's head bitch. I feel like they're recasting her. I feel like the network is recasting her. I don't know why I'm intrigued by this story. You are very intrigued by this and the inside workings of it. My initial reaction is just that the show sucks and she's probably like I want to do something else. For me, that's not the vibe I got because.
Starting point is 00:11:31 who wouldn't want to be in the Power Puff Girls remake? It's such a big name. That might be it too. That's a better way to look at it. I was just getting the vibe otherwise. Yeah. I could just imagine like morale-wise and how you think of yourself as an actor
Starting point is 00:11:51 that if you are in the pilot and they say it's really fucking bad that you're like, hmm, maybe I should be doing something else. Right. And she's a great actress, so I'm sure there was something else on the line for her, by the way. The movie was flipped. Flipped. Which is a great movie.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Great book. Great book. Great movie. I loved it because I did read the book. The book was great with the white cover with the two little chicks. Yes. So I did read the book and I was excited when I got that audition because... Oh, that's a great audition. It was a great audition.
Starting point is 00:12:20 I've had some fantastic auditions in my day. I always say this. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. A lot of misses. A lot of misses. I didn't make it. But I had a lot of cool auditions.
Starting point is 00:12:31 And for that, I appreciate it because now it gives me the stories of, hey, I auditioned for that. I didn't get it. But I was in the room. I stepped in the room. Did you like the movie La La Land? Like, did her character resonate? I never watched La La Land. You never seen La La Land?
Starting point is 00:12:44 No. Wow. Really? Yeah, I haven't. I don't know why. It's a great movie. I will watch it one day. But yeah, Flip is also a great movie and directed by Rob Reiner.
Starting point is 00:12:54 It's also on HBO Max you could watch it because I did watch it recently because I was like, oh, fuck. I remember when I was almost. It could have been. I mean, there's a 10. So, did you audition for like the main girl? Yeah, Julie Baker. Yeah, yeah. Madeline Carroll got it. And she was a great actress and she got the role and I didn't. That's fair, you know. And that's the end of that. Here I, well, here's the thing. I'm literally reverting back to my 11 year old self right now. But she had a lot more credits under her belt to then, like, in that role. Yeah, I mean, I don't want to, you know, I had zero credits. I was going to say,
Starting point is 00:13:35 I don't want to, like, rail on your 11-year-old self, but you didn't have any rail on me. That resume was empty. You want to know what was on my fucking resume? Maria played King Louis in her fourth grade play. You know, somebody could have taken a chance on you, though. Somebody could have taken a fucking chance on me. You know who did take a chance on me? Dave Bore annoying. on me and Eric and Ornady. Clearly. So thank you. Because Rob Reiner didn't take a chance on me.
Starting point is 00:14:06 And look at me now, Rob Reiner. Would you ever go back to David Swimmer? Would you ever go back to auditioning? Yes. Literally tomorrow. Literally tomorrow. Because I have like, because I don't know if I don't know. I mean, I guess you probably wouldn't be able to.
Starting point is 00:14:23 Like if you actually did get a role and they were like, hey, we need you on set for three months. Yeah. I could come with you. You could come with me or I could. do it over Zoom. I would never give up this. Yeah. I would want to do it on top of this. Here's the thing. I have so much, I had a lot of confidence as a kid, obviously, I wouldn't be stepping in those rooms. But I have so much more confidence in my entertainment abilities now that I think I would nail those auditions. Because a lot of, I'm so sorry we're talking about this, but a lot of
Starting point is 00:14:52 going into those auditions and acting class and all that is teaching you how to interact with with those people in the room when you first walk in, like, you know, greeting, like, you never say, you're good. You say different words, like, stand out, whatever. I was a personable kid, but I don't think I was as personable as I would be now. Like, I really think I would let my personality shine now. I don't think I would be afraid because I would be like, fuck you guys, I don't even need this role.
Starting point is 00:15:20 Right, right, right. I got a job. This is for shits and gigs. Right. So I would, but it is, you know, a passion of mine. I did it for many of years of my life I know I would just love for the dream to come to fruition at some point
Starting point is 00:15:36 not for you to like become some steady actress unless that's what you really wanted but for you to like really get like one gig on a TV show or a movie that was like a legit show or movie that's all I fucking want for you to have like lines not just to be like standing in the back
Starting point is 00:15:52 to be like an actual credited character just because I put in so much time Like people really don't get how much time. Once again, sorry. But they don't understand how much time I really put into that in my life from when I was eight years old up until I was 18 really just, oh my God, auditioning three, four times a week. My dad was driving me in and out of the city. I would miss school all the time.
Starting point is 00:16:19 I was going to speech pathologists because I had to get rid of my Long Island accent. That's most definitely back. I was going to say you have reverted. It's stronger than ever. What did you say at the day? Oh, oh, oh. When you were coughing, you were saying your abs were hurting. And you looked at me and you were like, Fran, my abs.
Starting point is 00:16:38 I was like, oh, no. My abs. My fucking ass. You were like, oh, my abs. Yeah, no, it's back. Uh-oh. It really was a lot as a kid. Like, I really put a lot of time.
Starting point is 00:16:52 And not even just the auditions because I would go on goosies as well, which is the modeling stuff. So like on top of having auditions Plenty of times a week I would also have the goseys to go to So I'd be going to a go see Then an hour later I'd be going to an audition Meanwhile I'm supposed to be in school
Starting point is 00:17:06 Yeah And I just I really I went to acting class every Oh my God I would on Fridays My brother tried to do that for like a year It's it's tough Yeah maybe two years On Fridays I would go to acting class
Starting point is 00:17:18 Instead of like hanging out with my friends I'd have to go to acting class after school Sometimes on Saturdays Yeah It was just like So much fucking dedication to then not have one TV show under my belt. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:31 It's funny. I don't really have anything to compare. I don't really have anything to compare to it. But it is wild where it's something that you do for so long and then you just stop. And the amount of times that you hear sort of the same thing over, like there was a casting director that I became really close. with because I went to one of her workshops and then you like make connections that way. And then she gave me her number and was like, I actually want to work with you acting wise. Like I'm going to, I'll teach you as well. But she was a casting director. And she casted the sitter, the movie with
Starting point is 00:18:08 Jonah Hill. And I remember I went into the audition. She was the casting director. She was obviously rooting for me for the role. I did it. And she was like, you are the only person that came in today and did it differently than everybody else. Like, I'm telling you like, this is your role. Like this is your role. what happens the director says like oh she's like too mature looking like or just something about your look yeah it's always like always the thing i got this is becoming a therapy session yeah but always the thing i got was that my face didn't match my body as a kid like my face was a lot more mature looking and older than my body yeah it sounds a lot like the emily radikowsky i'm too pretty yeah yeah but no but I get where you're no I get where you're saying you and you know you're on the shorter side
Starting point is 00:18:57 and yeah not that that really matters that much it was just like for older roles they were like she her face looks older yeah but then like she doesn't look old and I wasn't older I was like 11 and you were very oh so I was very skinny very tiny very I was like 50 pounds you were like very small so small yeah but my face was like right right right adult model I'm just kidding all right Let's get into the topics. I'm sorry. I was going to say, all right, Emily. I literally had a little moment, okay? Had a moment.
Starting point is 00:19:26 Let's get into the topics starting off with Ashton Coucher. So obviously, as a kid and in my life, all that rejection and whatnot really gets to me. Stresses me out, makes me insecure. Part of me sounds like I'm joking right now, but I'm not. You've built yourself back up. Yeah, I've built myself back up, and I have done that with a little help of therapy. And right now you could do that too because this podcast is sponsored by Better Help Online Therapy. Like I said, life is full of stressors.
Starting point is 00:19:57 It doesn't matter who you are, what you have in life. Your life is probably stressful. You may be feeling down. You may not be feeling like yourself lately. Maybe you're feeling a little bit depressed and you feel like you're at a loss and you don't know what to do. But therapy is, it's hard to find the right therapist. And it also can be very expensive.
Starting point is 00:20:13 And there's so many things that go into therapy that can be challenging. We have a way with better help that will make. it easier for you to talk to somebody. BetterHelp is customized online therapy that offers video, phone, and even live chat sessions with your therapist, so you do not have to see anyone on camera if you don't want to. Starting point is 00:20:46 get 10% off their first month at betterhelp.com slash office. Once again, that's B-E-T-T-E-R-H-E-L-P dot com slash office, 10% off at BetterHelp. Obviously, a few weeks ago, the big topic of discussion was whether or not Ash and Kutri Emilukunes were bathing their kids or bathing themselves. And that's spiraled. Yeah. It's become a story that we see once a week now. Jake Gyllenhaal apparently also doesn't shower.
Starting point is 00:21:12 I don't know what's going on or why this is happening. but every week there's somebody new. Yes, because Hollywood apparently doesn't bathe that often because of the oils on their body. And I think I already said this, that my parents are like, you're bathing too much. That's why you're not as famous as you can be. Because they're like the Hollywood stars are not bathing. But Ashton Coucher posted this video, which was hilarious of him and Milakunas and they're bathing their kids and they're yelling. Let's just play the audio because I think even the audio, you get the gist of it.
Starting point is 00:21:45 What's that? What? Oh my God. It's water. You're putting water on these children? I know. You're trying to melt them? Are you trying to injure them with water?
Starting point is 00:22:01 This is ridiculous. What's going on? We're bathing our children. That's like the fourth time this week. Four times this week. It's too much. It's great. Their body oils are going to be destroyed.
Starting point is 00:22:15 What are you trying to do? It's very funny. They have to laugh. You have to imagine being Ashton and Mila and you say this during a podcast and you're like talking about your kids and oh, you know, oh, we wash our private parts and not expecting it to be like national news for multiple days. Multiple days. Multiple days everyone was talking about this. For me, what I got from this video is that Ashton and Mila are so in love still and that they have such a happy family. They're just like us.
Starting point is 00:22:45 I know. Well, not me, but not you. No, not you, but in the sense that like, isn't it weird that my, and I think we, my reaction is very similar to yours, it's like, which is so ridiculous because, you know, they are people, but it's like, oh, do look at these parents at bath time, both of them. You can hear the kids in the background. It wasn't even not for me. It was more so that they were joking around with each other in such a cute way.
Starting point is 00:23:12 Yeah, yeah. And you could see on both their faces that they were genuinely having a good time with each other. And to me, I was like, they're in some beautiful thing. And I love it. I feel like they're like one of the most normal couples if I had to guess. Like he kind of quit acting and she doesn't really do much stuff. Like they're probably pretty normal. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:27 They probably just like to have a good fucking time. I'd imagine those two are a great time. Yeah. I think they also really. Especially Mila. I think they pick and choose what roles that they want to take. I know Mila Kunez has something big coming up, some book adaption. Ashton Kutcher's like saving the world or something.
Starting point is 00:23:44 Yeah. Ashton Kutcher's doing nine million things. Remember. and they did that wine during COVID. Oh, yeah, yeah, that was like for charity. Yeah, yeah, that was for COVID relief. Yeah. And they, like that's just saying, like,
Starting point is 00:23:59 sitting around a round table with them having a glass of wine is unbelievable. This is my dream group. Okay. Round table, dinner, couples, me and Joe. and we're surrounded by Who did you sign up for that? Remember? They're on the list, don't worry.
Starting point is 00:24:23 Ashton Kocher, Milakunas, John Cresensky, and Emily Blunt. Honestly, I think I would go Blake and Ryan, Reynolds. Okay. And that's probably a lot. But then sneaky, this is going to be a random one. But I think I would.
Starting point is 00:24:52 go and this is bad because I should know what her name is obviously but I think I would go crazy and put like Jason Mamoa and Lisa Bonay on there that's an awesome pick yeah and Lenny Kravitz just have them just have him there just have him there yeah I got one okay okay wait all right it's me and whoever the fuck knows at this point yeah yeah yeah me and open chair open chair whoever wants to come Kuna's an Ashton Coochard. Kristen Bell and Dach Shepard. That's a good one. That is a good one. Now I'm going to throw in two
Starting point is 00:25:34 randoms that this was just going to make this a fun dinner party. Aesap Rocky and Rihanna. Yeah, that's also a good one. Ted Danson and Mary Steenberg. They would be cool. That's awesome. That is a good one. That is a good one.
Starting point is 00:25:48 Well, that's like Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell would also be a really good one. If you wanted to go with like an older couple that's been together for a really long time. Need and maybe John Favreau and his wife. Who's John Favro married to? A regular, beautiful woman. Enorming. We had a long discussion the other day about John Favro. Oh yeah, you came in here. Yeah, I remember you asking me.
Starting point is 00:26:12 Yeah. Anyways. And if, and if Jason Sedgis and Olivia Wilde want to get back together, they'll be at the table. What about Harry? I don't want her and Harry because I'll just get jealous. No, I actually would never invite them. I wouldn't. They would be too artsy at, first while they'd be two artsy at the table and I would be thinking about how I want Harry the whole time. Exactly. I want couples that are in like very committed very committed relationships and I don't want to be fawning over their husband. Yeah. None of the people you just named you'd be fawning. Oh, Aesap Rocky, I will, but I love Rihanna equally as much. You love them more as a, I understand where you're coming from. It's you have to
Starting point is 00:26:43 love the couple more than the individual persons. Yeah. I respect Rihanna and Aesp too much to Oh, exactly. Like we love Harry Styles more than we love Harry Styles and Olivia Wild together. Not even close. But like the couples that we have sitting at our tables, we love them as couples so much. Right. Like I would never make a play on Ashton Cutcher because I love Milakounis. You know? Breaking news, Maria will not make a play.
Starting point is 00:27:07 You would never make a play on Ashputcher. Now Milikunis can sleep. Let's just end it there. That is. But no, it was a great joke. Ashton and Mila, to contrary to poppy belief, occasionally, do bathe their children. That was prime example. Just a quick update on Machine Gun Kelly
Starting point is 00:27:29 and his hair, which by the way, it has just been all over the place. Some people thought he was rocking extensions at some point, very shaggy blonde hair. He for sure was. I saw Brianna made a TikTok about that and I'm on board with her. Like, he definitely had extensions. Yeah, he's wearing extensions and now he went bald and he had the avatar tattoo on his head. It was really just for a music video, paper cuts. I have to be honest Machine Gun Kelly doesn't do it for me
Starting point is 00:27:57 And I want that on the table Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox is a couple Do it for me Megan Fox She does it for me Machine Gun Kelly I'm with you on that He does not do it for me I Pete Davidson, yes
Starting point is 00:28:09 Like you know the arguments always Pete Davidson Machine Gun Kelly blah blah Pete Davidson yes Machine Gun Kelly I am not sexually Is that like a new thing No it's just more of a revelation I've had because I feel like so many people love Machine Gun Kelly in that way. Like they think he's the hottest fucking thing to ever walk this planet Earth.
Starting point is 00:28:29 And I haven't really been swayed one way or the other. But I decided this week that I am not swayed in the direction of wanting to fuck Machine Gun Kelly. It's very. And now listen, Machine Gun Kelly would probably see me and be like, I don't want to fuck her. So I get that. I'm not trying to be like, hi and mighty. But I, you know, I'm not saying I. Listen, now I'm talking myself in a hole.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Yeah, just stop yourself. You don't want to fuck Machine Gun Kelly. That's all. Statement made, don't need to justify it. Don't need to make excuses. You currently are not sexually attracted to him. Yes. Fine.
Starting point is 00:29:03 I think that it's, it's, there are moments. There are moments for him where I'm like, yes, moments where I'm like, hell no. It always changes all the time. I do love the pop, like the pop punk vibe from him. Like, I do love the music and I really love listening to him. So I, I think. that persuades me in being more attracted to him because I do like the sound that is coming out of him. Yeah. No, I could see that. There are times like this music video is pretty wild. He's got a bunch of
Starting point is 00:29:32 different hair situations, you know, a bunch of different wigs, bald cap, the pulling the ball cap off, the hair. And it's comes and goes. I think there are sometimes when, like you said, there are sometimes when he and Megan Fox are dressed up going out where you're like oh yeah they fucking look good and then times when you see Machine Gun Kelly and you're like
Starting point is 00:29:57 not there it's just not there but he looks better with Megan Fox on his arm absolutely anybody would look better with Megan Fox on his arm but how would it is also just funny though because I think we did know that new music was coming or new stuff was coming
Starting point is 00:30:13 but when everyone saw the screenshot he posted of the FaceTime with the with the head shaved. Everybody freaked out thinking he, like, it took everyone a good few hours to be like, oh, wait, could this be for something? Instead of jumping to the conclusion that he just straight up shaved his head and got a tattoo. Like, I think, the tattoo is what did it for me. When I first saw it, I was like, that can't be real. How did he get that thing on his head? Yeah, I, I, I, you just don't know with machine. Like I. So I didn't really have a guess, but
Starting point is 00:30:46 just a music video. Yeah. Just a music video. Yeah, just a music video. Another moment where the world took a collective gasp. There was a headline this week. And I think the one that went viral the most that people screenshot the most and were being sharing was from Fox News that said, Jennifer Anderson and David Schwimmer after all these years are now dating. And that got the people going thinking, you know, oh my God, finally it's happening.
Starting point is 00:31:15 They talked about how they had crushes on each other. briefly, you know, when they were filming and it's all coming together. But that lasted, I think, less than 24 hours because David Schwimmer's reps did put out a statement that that is not true. Thank God. I honestly did not want Jennifer Anderson and David Swimmer to be dating because I really like the story of them having a crush on each other and them channeling that crush so hard through Ross and Rachel. and them not acting on it and it's like okay you just let that tension build you guys were professional and that's great
Starting point is 00:31:52 I think they're both past that in their lives That would be so cool that they end up like That's kind of like Mila and Ashton where it's like wow You know what you're right Why am I being cynical about it? If Jennifer and Because I have a vendetta against David Twyver But then it's like oh they were destined to be together
Starting point is 00:32:09 Yeah I to be honest I think this just stems from our personal feelings about David Schwimmer. Right. I think Jennifer Anderson could do better than David Schwimmer. The idea of long time love interest on friends, iconic, getting together finally. Yes, of course.
Starting point is 00:32:30 That's a love story for the ages. People would totally be obsessed with it. And maybe it's just because Ross and Rachel you were so on and off the whole time. But you felt happy knowing that Ross and Rachel figured it out. That it's like, you didn't need it as much
Starting point is 00:32:48 needed as much in real life. I watched an episode of Friends last night I was just on my, I was watching cable. Yeah. When Rachel's with Joey. And you just think to yourself, how did they write this into the storyline?
Starting point is 00:33:01 Right, right, right. How did Rachel? Where that felt silly. It was like Rachel and Joey. Towards the end. Towards the end. They're running out of things. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:33:12 It felt ridiculous. It felt ridiculous. No, that was ridiculous. What is also ridiculous is that David Swimmers' reps didn't let this roll for like a couple weeks. The fact that it was David Swimmers' reps that denied this and not Jennifer Annesons makes this so much funnier because I imagine like David Shimmer's publicist being like,
Starting point is 00:33:30 we got to get out ahead of this one guys. Can't have the world thinking they're dating. Well, not even that, but I feel like almost maybe he got embarrassed. Like, oh, I don't want Jen to think that I'm telling people we're dating. Right, that's also very true. I didn't think about that. Jennifer Aniston's far too famous to ever address something like this. But for him, he's like, oh my God, we've got to make sure.
Starting point is 00:33:48 Jennifer Aniston's like, I'm too busy, like, with Brad Pitt rumors. Like, I can't have David Swimmer. Jennifer Aniston's too busy, like, being the world's best ex, like, posting photos of Justin Thore for, like, his birthday, like just. She also likes, like, everything John Mayer posts, like, you know, I always like, that's good. You know what? She just seems like such a great lady. You all got to take a page out of Jennifer Aniston's book.
Starting point is 00:34:10 Love you, Jen. She does. And it's just so funny because it's, like, it's like. Like, this, right, the report was that, you know, those feelings started to stir up again. They've been spending a lot of time at her house in Los Angeles. And his rep told L.U.K., which is interesting, like of all publications to give the statement to, they went with L.U.K. That the story is, quote, false.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Just false. That's it. That's the statement. False. I mean, they, like, rekindled at the reunion. It kind of makes sense. Yeah. That is, because they gave us the ammunition outlets, I could see totally outlets being like, ooh, any chance we get of any, like sounding of that.
Starting point is 00:34:54 Like the actual report? No, it's, well, the, them confirming that they had crushes was during the Friends reunion. I know, but like, was this just based on nothing? Oh, no. It came from closer. I don't even know, like, if it was a legitimate. Closer online. It's a UK publication that I've legitimately never heard of.
Starting point is 00:35:19 Jennifer Aniston and Davis-Trimmer are together, cozy dinners, long walks, and a spark. After 20 years of buried feelings together. So maybe that's why they gave the statement to L.U.K. It really was building in the UK tabloids. And then it got picked up. Because like I said, the Fox News article is what I saw shared a million times. I saw it from Pretty Little Thing, which makes zero sense. Pretty Little Thing is British, though, is it not?
Starting point is 00:35:42 Pretty, yeah, they posted, I saw their tweet, and then I saw Dumois respond to it being like, this is false. Damn Dumas denied it? Yeah, they said they had on it. They did pose a story. Very good authority. Very good authority. That they're not dating. So you know what, everyone, sorry, Ross and Rachel.
Starting point is 00:35:59 Dreamers out there. It's not happening. It's not. And that's okay. It is. We have a great interview with Nikki Glazer. Guys, you heard us talking about it in the intro. I'm going to keep talking about it.

Starting point is 00:37:53 She has been on the podcast before, but that was so long ago. So long. So I am so happy to have you back on. And she is the host of the new show F-Boy Island on HBO Max, and we can't wait to talk about it. Welcome to the show, Nikki. Thanks for having me back, you guys. So happy to talk to you again about this. I mean, we're already having a good time.
Starting point is 00:38:16 Yeah, we were having a great time before we even started. Yeah, we have a lot in common. You guys are just cool and you get it. And I'm happy to be here. And have you seen F Boy Island? Yes. I've watched every episode. You're frozen.
Starting point is 00:38:28 Or you haven't stopped talking about Foy Island. And you're just. Fuck, what the fuck. Oh, no, I'm me. Uh-oh. Oh, wait, no, you're back. You're frozen. You're good.
Starting point is 00:38:36 Shit. Did you hear any of the? that you guys were frozen right after I asked if you've seen F Boy Island and now you're frozen but it looked like you were both like no no no no we have we just said I'm I've watched every episode I have not missed it yet no I'm I have watched every episode um it is one of those shows that we have been all of us that have have been watching have been talking about in the office because it's like is what's the vibe here like is it is it so ridiculous that we love it so much or like is we're like and I'm like yes that's that is that's the situation that's usually
Starting point is 00:39:13 how it goes with these shows right and I tell you make good reality TV and I love that it's on HBO Max and I think you're a fan and a lover of reality TV right that's how you got involved with this that's that's how it uh it ended up this way like I I always wanted to be like be on a reality show I'm 37 so like when real world was like the coolest it was I was around that age and I was like man I would I bet I would get on the real world. Like I just had a feeling like that I could probably get on a reality show, but I just never wanted to become known for a reality show.
Starting point is 00:39:48 Like I didn't want to get famous that way or whatever it is I was seeking when I was young just like external validation, love from strangers because I didn't get enough as a child, which just let us all to do what we're doing. Now that I'm older and I like feel like I have self-esteem that isn't based upon strangers loving me and accepting me. And I've also, you know, I found a way to do something that people call talent, which is like stand-up, which is a talent, obviously. But it really, I don't, I feel like I found a way in, I'm trying to like make this make sense. I think God I found stand-up because before then I was just like, I don't know what to do.
Starting point is 00:40:29 I'm not good at acting. I'm not good at singing. I can't play a musical instrument. I know I want to be famous. and that is the old me I don't really have interest in that anymore but that's usually like that's what draws you to entertainment
Starting point is 00:40:42 like I wasn't like I want to make people laugh I was just like how do I get people to like think I'm cool and like know who I am and I eventually found stand-up but I was like oh good I'm good at this and it like also serves that need so I just like fell into stand-up went hard at it got really good at it
Starting point is 00:40:59 and now I'm at a point where it's like I just want to do what I want to do and I want to be on reality TV. Like I realized that wasn't just me wanting to be famous, that being drawn to it. It was me wanting to just be myself on camera and have people say that's okay and let me know that like I'm not a bad person.
Starting point is 00:41:23 Like there's something about reality TV. Now I'm drawn to it because it's fucking easy. You just live your life. You don't have to memorize lines. You don't have to prepare anything. You just have to like try to look good. But even if you don't look good, like it's also interesting.
Starting point is 00:41:35 So I, I want to be the, I've forever wanted to be, ever since I did Dancing with the Stars. I was like, I want to be The Bachelorette. Like I love being the subject of a reality show. I feel like, you know, it's just where I belong. But I felt really embarrassed of that because, you know, my agents are sending me auditions for movies and TV shows and you got to write a pilot and all these things.
Starting point is 00:41:56 It's like, that's what you're supposed to do when you become, when you get a name for yourself. Like, okay, you've cultivated this name. know who you are. Now let's do something with it. And I'm like, can we do reality? And they're like, what? And so they started sending me like shows that were, you know, in pre-production or like being pitched around. And I saw this one email like a year ago that said F Boy Island on it. It was just on an email with all these different reality shows looking for hosts. And I was like, that would be the best because it's such a ridiculous name. They obviously have a sense of humor. God, that would be a dream.
Starting point is 00:42:28 And then one of like the creator of the show who's a friend of mine, thought I'd be perfect for it, called me and said, hey, I'm going to pitch you for this if you'd be interested. I originally thought he was asking me to be one of the girls on the show. And then he clarified because I was like, really? Oh my God, thank you. And he's like, no, you're 37 gross.
Starting point is 00:42:47 No one wants to see that. We tried with Claire and it gave the world COVID. I'm not connecting Claire being the bachelorette with COVID, but the world could not, the universe couldn't handle a 39-year-old bachelor. and it shut it down. But so then it turned into me being the host of it. And yeah, that's a long way to say, yes, I sought this out.
Starting point is 00:43:07 Yes, I love reality. And I don't ever want to do anything else. Like, it's the best. And it's, yeah. Yeah. We love reality too. And we've always joked saying the same thing. Like, we want to find a way onto one of these shows, but not as a contest.
Starting point is 00:43:24 I don't want to compete. So, like, that's the dream. Like, we're like, you don't want to be a contested. Are you single? Are you single? I'm single. I am not. But I would like to go and host, like, I want, like, a date, like, I want, like, a date
Starting point is 00:43:39 organized by me. Like, I want to be, like, the dodgeball judge while the shirtless men are, like, tackling each other. I would love that, too. I would make, like, it really, like, I'd go on the challenge, right? Because I think the challenge has a little bit of both, like, it's competitive, but maybe you fuck around with somebody. Like, I like that.
Starting point is 00:43:58 Yes. I will say, I get what you were trying to say. Like you are very successful in your own right and you've made a name for yourself in comedy and people know you from that. And it's like, okay, now like you said, the agents are like, what's the next step? And I watched a podcast recently with Whitney Cummings and Tim Dillon and they were talking about this because Whitney was like trying to get Tim to do other things. And he was like, I don't want to just do other things that I don't want to do. You know what I mean? And I feel like, that's what you're saying with this. Like you really like reality TV. You're not dying to be in movies and TV, right? You want to be in reality TV. That's what you like. I do it. And I've done it before when my friends put me in it.
Starting point is 00:44:42 But I don't get joy out of auditioning. I don't get joy out of memorizing lines or getting into a character. I haven't had a chance to really do that. But I just realized like I found stand-up because I tried it once and it felt so good and it felt easy. You know, like it didn't feel. Like I was, there are times I feel like a fraud and I go, I'm not funny at all and I'm, I'm imposter syndrome and all that stuff.
Starting point is 00:45:05 But there was something about it that was like for the first time, I'm like, oh, I'm just naturally good at this and it's not going to be a struggle. Like everything else seems to be. And I think that that is the thing because you look at other, you compare yourself to others and you see the trajectory of like people's, like, there's a system. There's like a you there's next steps of your career and eventually it ends up you being Amy Schumer Tiffany Haddish, Ali Wong, you know, these female comics that eventually end up in big movies and then that's what they do. And then you go on to try to win an award by doing a more serious role. Like there's this thing.
Starting point is 00:45:45 There's like a right. There's already a plan in place and I just I don't I don't care about that anymore. Thank God I've let go of wanting to be famous. Like I don't really And you're funny I don't really even Yeah I mean like I'm just the right amount Like I really feel
Starting point is 00:46:03 I'm actually I would like to be a little less To be honest with you because I feel Like I can't go into so like I like All right everyone unfollow Nikki Place to go to Unfollow Nikki on Instagram Because you like to lose some followers I just wish I was less
Starting point is 00:46:17 I don't like the idea of people Knowing who I am And I just think they don't know who I am And so like last night my friend and I were leaving my apartment building and we were chatting with this guy with a dog that's in my apartment and our dogs were playing. We had this whole conversation and then it got to the point where it was like, what do you guys do? And like we asked him what he did for a living and then he asked us and he goes, well, I know you. And I was just like, I just went through that whole conversation, not knowing that you know me.
Starting point is 00:46:45 And it's like, I just want, I either want to be so famous that I know everyone knows me. It's like not a question or it's because this weird area of, what do you know because I put it all out there you know like sometimes the things I say on podcasts are more intimate than the things I say with you know my friends sometimes like things and it's just weird to have a stranger in the elevator in your building know that you've been having a lot of anal sex recently like that's a weird thing for people to know and I know I choose to disclose that but it's um and I also want to keep dressing like shit and um and going to like subway like I love subway and that's an embarrassing place to be like caught going if you're like someone who's we love subway too she likes subway she would
Starting point is 00:47:30 choose that over this like vegan like cute cafe with like a chef inspired menu like yeah i'm trash sometimes and people like that more people like trash more they're just like us the stars are just like us i think they do but i also feel like you know i don't know i i i struggle with the thing about the reality show that I'm not scared to be the subject of one. Like, I would love to be The Bachelor. I would love to have people see me fall in love and go on that journey and I honestly would feel
Starting point is 00:48:03 and we can have anal sex on ABC. I'm totally fine with it. Anil before cunt. Before the fantasy suites. Yeah, ABC is anal before cunt. I always go anus before my vagina.
Starting point is 00:48:18 But I used to, another fear that I had when I would think about being on a reality show is being like, oh my God, what if I embarrass myself? You know, what if I, you know, have a bout of anger that makes me look really bad? What if I accidentally say something, you know, the most embarrassing moments that we have privately, like, what if people saw that? Like, yes, I tell those things on stage, but you're detached from them because you don't
Starting point is 00:48:43 see them. Maybe you could picture me saying this thing I'm embarrassed about, but seeing me do it on camera that could ruin me. Like, what if people hate me from my behavior? What if I get drunk? And the things I've done when I was wasted, I don't stand by any of that. Like, I don't think my true self comes out
Starting point is 00:48:58 when I'm drunk, an evil version of myself. So I eventually quit drinking. So I go, okay, now I don't have that to worry about. I won't get drunk on camera so I can do a reality show. But then I still worried about, like, just having a bad moment, you know, because you do forget the cameras are on you on these shows. Like, you can say all you want that you're going to be in control.
Starting point is 00:49:15 You're pre-apologizing for the reality show you haven't been on right now. Well, now I know. Yes. Now I know that I can. I know that I'm not ever trying to be a bad person. Like I truly know that in my heart that I'm like, when I am a bad person, when I do things out of insecurity or anger or fear, like, it's just because I'm, I'm backed into a corner and I'm scared and it's all, I'm not a bad. I know I'm not sociopathic and like I don't have anything to hide essentially. And I can forgive myself for those moments.
Starting point is 00:49:45 So I hope that America could forgive me. Yeah, it could ruin me based on something like. I say or do, but I just am comfortable enough with myself now that I feel like I could go on a reality show and have people judge me and see the edit and know that that's not how it went down and just know in my heart that like, it's okay. They're going to, I don't read YouTube comments anyway. I don't read comments already because I just get so bogged down by people's perception of me and wanting to control it. And now I've kind of let go of that by not reading comments and stuff like that. Do you guys struggle with comments? Do you read comments? Do you...
Starting point is 00:50:20 I normally try not to. I used to struggle real bad with it. Like really bad. But honestly, I don't care at all anymore. I don't know, like a switch hit me and I just don't read it. Like, even if I do see something, I'm like, that's just not true. I don't know where it like switched in my brain. And I think you noticed this with me too, that I, for a while, it would stick with me
Starting point is 00:50:44 because it would bother me when people would say stuff about me that I know is not true and I would be like, how do I make these people know that this is not true about me? But then you realize that you really have no control and people are going to say whatever they want. And also something, like you mentioned the trash before, like going to subway, it's trashy, whatever. I'm from Long Island, so people always call me Long Island trash. And for the beginning of like when we started doing this, I wanted nothing to do with that. I was like, I'm not Long Island trash. Like I'm not. Now I'm like, I am Long Island trash and I am perfectly fine. And I am perfectly fine and okay with it because it makes it more relatable. It's like, this is me, this is where I came
Starting point is 00:51:23 from, I'm not going to hide that, and that's that. So I love that. It comes in waves. It does come in waves and it comes in exactly what you're saying, which is like knowing that you didn't choose to be from Long Island. You didn't choose that Long Island sometimes has a connotation of being trashed or whatever it is. I'm not saying that, but like you didn't choose all these things that come before you and that and you didn't choose your parents you didn't choose the environment in which you were your brain in fact like you didn't choose any of these things like it's not your fault who you are and it's because i always felt like if someone has a judgment about me my biggest fear is reading a comment that i know to be true about myself that i haven't disclosed and they've noticed
Starting point is 00:52:06 from gathering information about me and that they bring up something that i never even wanted to like they see my face in a way that I've always been scared that someone sees that I have a big forehead or something insecure that I haven't pointed out and they figured out the worst though is when you I shit on myself all the time on my daily podcast and Nickylazer podcast I am very open about I was a terrible person yesterday I said this to a friend because I was backed into a corner of anger and I had to apologize it was like I give I give my listeners like my character defects like I tell them when I've been awful and they've seen me be awful like I do my podcast with my roommate who is a person that when I get angry,
Starting point is 00:52:48 I can be very mean to him. There's like three people I can be really ugly to. It's my mom, my dad. And my roommate, Andrew, is my best friend. I can be a bully at times because I get scared. I'll be abandoned. And I also know that this person, like, is not going to leave me. I trust so I can just be cruel when I'm having a bad day.
Starting point is 00:53:08 I can like take it out on him. And it happens even though I am trying so hard for it not to, it still happens and people on the podcast hear it because he'll come into the show and I'll be a bitch to him and then the next day I have to say listen yesterday I was really I woke up depressed and I was taking it out on him and it was not kind and I like and then I'll have people go Nikki's spiraling she is mean to her friends blah blah and I go I gave you that I let you see that because I'm aware of it you don't need to start a subreddit about how I'm a bitch when I gave you that figure out things on your own and they're doing it.
Starting point is 00:53:42 the same, they're doing the same thing in their life. Like they are also being, yes, they're also being a bitch to their mom and their dad and their roommate and their boyfriend and whoever. Yeah, they're being a bitch to me. They're starting a Reddit thread about how I'm a bitch knowing that I read that thread,
Starting point is 00:53:58 they know that I read my subreddit because it's usually, I don't read any comments but for a while, I'm on Reddit, I love Reddit. You're reading your subreddit? Well, there was a subreddit, the only reason I did, and let me say is because it was just not anymore because of this, because I'm now, at this level of fame where people are being,
Starting point is 00:54:15 my fans are being mean to me sometimes. But before, it was all just men that were, like, just like fans that loved me so much. And they would post pictures of me and be like, her smile makes my day. They would just say these things that I go, that is so lovely. It's like making me love myself.
Starting point is 00:54:30 And I go, I should follow this because it's all people that love me no matter what. And then it started to turn and I go unfollow. Now, off to the races, you guys, say whatever you want about me, because I'm not reading it anymore. Because this person purposely knew I read my subreddit, put this out there,
Starting point is 00:54:45 said the word spiraling, and I go, I said I was spiraling. You don't get to say, Nikki's spiraling, you guys. Have you noticed? Yeah, we've noticed. She told us. Yes. So it's complex, the amount of oversharing I do,
Starting point is 00:54:59 and I assume you guys do it as well, where people get to know things about you because you're saying them to free yourself from them, but also to let other people, you know how good it feels when you hear someone, that you maybe admire, say something disparaging about themselves, or share something that's embarrassing, and you go, oh, my God, I do that too.
Starting point is 00:55:20 That makes me feel less alone. You know how good that feels. That's why I put the shit out there is to make maybe people out there look at their own lives and feel like, oh, I'm not so bad because I did that thing. It just means I'm trying my best. And then when it's used against you, it just, it sucks. But that's why, actually, like, I was going to ask, obviously the pandemic was hard for a lot of comedians,
Starting point is 00:55:42 because you're not out there, you're not getting on stage. But I think it was really good in a way that you guys all utilize YouTube, like, to the extreme. And that's how I started getting very into just comedians in general, you, Annie Letterman, Whitney, Tim Dillon, like, just watching everybody.
Starting point is 00:56:02 Chrissy D. Like, I'm watching everybody. And I feel like everyone was utilizing YouTube in the best way. How was that transition to, like, being on stage all the time. And then now you're just sitting behind a camera, sitting behind a mic, and you don't have that crowd laughter. And you're talking a lot about the internet.
Starting point is 00:56:21 And that's kind of the only reception of what you're putting out there. It's a great question because you're right. Like we are as comedians, we're the most insecure of any performer, I believe, because we don't need the applause at the end of our song. We are actually uncomfortable with silence. Like I'm trying to become a singer-songwriter now. and the idea of singing a song like
Starting point is 00:56:43 I love you like the moon and like talking about like poetry and my feelings is disgusting and then like having people and then waiting if to see if they like it till the end and then they applaud and then I think did they even like it or is that just a formality?
Starting point is 00:56:56 With comedy I'm comedians are so insecure because you need validation constantly. Oh did I get a laugh? Okay they still like me. They still like me. I never do crowd work because I don't want to ever have a moment
Starting point is 00:57:07 where I'm not in control and might might disappoint them. So like people are always scared to sit in the front row of my show because she's going to roast us. I will never ever talk to you, probably ever, unless you like heckle me. Because I don't, I'm so scared that I might let you down,
Starting point is 00:57:23 especially because people are paying a lot of money to see me now. I don't ever want you to ever have a dull moment. So I don't ever give up control. And what I found is that it has diminishing returns. Like stand up is great and there's something I do love about it is being on stage and the spectacle of it all, and I'm approaching it differently now. But I really loved being forced to stop because I was addicted to it. I was doing it because I was scared.
Starting point is 00:57:51 You know, the way people, the way I've been addicted to exercise before, if I take a day off, I'm going to get fat. If I take one, if I rest one day because my ankle hurts, someone else is going to be, look hotter than me or whatever, you know, like those fears we have of other people are going to pass me by and people are going to forget about me and I'm going to lose everything. I did. And stopping and having everyone have to stop. So it made me go, okay, there's not other people out there doing it. We're all on the same page. It allowed me to stop and gave me permission to. And then when I did stop, I realized that I did miss going on stage every night and yelling into a
Starting point is 00:58:28 microphone and saying my feelings. But I got to do podcasts and do the same thing and actually feel a more intimate connection because I don't know. There's something about doing a podcast I do mine every day, Monday through Thursday, and I Heart didn't even want me to do four days. I was like, would have gotten paid the same to do one hour once a week. And I was like, no, I want to do four days a week because I want to stop doing stand-up every night. I need an outlet for my feelings that isn't me having to put on clothes
Starting point is 00:58:56 and go to a club and hang out and wait and then go on stage and then maybe have a bad set. That makes me feel sad. Now I'm finding other ways to express myself and connect that isn't dependent on validation. and the messages I get are so much greater to me than laughs. Laughs I don't even feel anymore. Like they got me high 18 years ago when I started,
Starting point is 00:59:17 but they don't get me high anymore. And what gets me high is when I perform stand-up is presenting an idea that makes people go, whoa, I hadn't thought of it that way. Like, well, like the moments I have had with stand-up where it shifts my perception of the world. I think I'm not scared now. to with my stand-up have silence and have and say something that isn't maybe funny but is like,
Starting point is 00:59:43 whoa, that's kind of an important thing that no one's saying. And maybe it's not hilarious, but I'm maybe not going to do that thing again now. Or wow, what she just said about, like I'm talking about molestation and rape now in my set. And it's like I, those subjects are not inherently funny. And yes, I have jokes in them. But really, I'm just trying to get out information and to make it more acceptable to talk about these things, to make victims feel less alone, even though I have not been victimized in those two ways that I know of. You know, molestation, it can happen to you and not,
Starting point is 01:00:17 you cannot remember, which I kind of think probably happened to me because I'm obsessed with it, and I'm very scared of men and not trusting. But I'm talking about these subjects on stage because I think it's a new, it's the new, stand-up's not scary to me anymore, getting on stage, like talking in front of people, the things that you still really like make me nervous and feel like I accomplish something like the stage fright,
Starting point is 01:00:40 am I going to bomb all those things? That doesn't get me off anymore. What gets me off is tackling a subject that makes everyone's asshole tighten up and then somehow like make everyone feel okay about it and actually learn that we need to talk about these difficult subjects because the perpetrator, like, you know, when we say you can't talk about rape or like, well,
Starting point is 01:01:03 let's not bring up. rape, it's going to like maybe trigger people, which I validate. And like if I do trigger someone during my show with it, I would personally apologize them because I don't want to make them have a panic attack. But I think that talking about these things, when we say we can't, when you say you can't make rape jokes, you're silencing people that, you're silencing that experience. People, something that happened to someone that was the worst thing that's ever happened to them cannot, is by saying you can't joke about. it is saying you can't talk about it essentially.
Starting point is 01:01:36 It's saying and then when you create an air of, oh, that's awkward, don't talk about it, that makes people kind of go, then you don't want to talk about rape ever. I mean, it trickles down and then guess who wins? Rapists because then they know their victims won't talk about it because it's such a shameful thing to
Starting point is 01:01:52 even breach and the people that are perpetrating these things win when we go against that. So I don't know where I'm going with this. What I'm saying is that like I've had to look for other ways to get off. because I'm not chasing fame anymore. I'm not chasing.
Starting point is 01:02:09 I was going on stage high a lot because I was like, oh, it's a new challenge. And now I don't want to do that. And so I'm always just trying to look for some kind of, like to get off in some kind of. Now the high is hosting F Boy Island. Right. I was going to say hopefully F Boy Island's on there
Starting point is 01:02:24 because I do feel like the response to you on this show has been great. There hasn't really been, you know, you get the host here and there and maybe they crack a joke every once in a while. but you're so involved in the show to a level that I think a lot of hosts of reality TV shows aren't, that it brings like a lighter feel to it. Like the even just like the little sketches that you do with like the guys that are in Limbro, it's like, you know, therapist, Nikki, and you have all these moments that are really, really funny.
Starting point is 01:02:53 And I think people appreciate it because it's a show that's not supposed to be taken that seriously. And I think you confirm that instead of people. the reality show should. None of them. Exactly. Instead of all of us being like, well, I could not believe that he was an F boy and not a nice guy. It's like, well, let's laugh about this because we can't like have it be too serious. I do want to ask you though, because I do think this was one of the funniest parts of this show, is that it is on HBO Max and the guys are cursing left
Starting point is 01:03:23 and right, and yet we're calling them F boys and not fuck boys. Why can't we just call it Fuck Boy Island? Because of advertisers. Yeah. They can be okay with content within the show, but like billboards and things. It really comes down to that. And it's so funny because when I saw F Boy on that email I'm talking about, I go, well, we're going to, we're going to land on fuckboy because, you know, there's books in Hudson News that say
Starting point is 01:03:48 fuck on the cover, you know, like putting fucking things is like in right now. With a cute little star. Yeah, the lastrix. Yeah. It'll be fine. And when we got on the show, I really thought like, this is a working title, but I got to be honestly we had to like fight for even that because it was so because yeah you know that's so crazy to me because there's like you can have a moment where there was I forget
Starting point is 01:04:13 I think it was maybe one of the Jared's but one of them was like this fucking guy it's fucking ridiculous I can't fucking believe this fuck this mother and it was like I was like he's just I'm like he just said fuck like nine times in 30 seconds and Nikki can't call him I know a I'm not a fucking F boy I'm not a fucking F boy is hilarious that's that's It's so ironic, you're right. It's so funny. I love that they can just let it fly, though, because in other, this is not a reality show,
Starting point is 01:04:37 but in Outer Banks on Netflix, like, I think they're allowed a minimum of F words. So like one time, the dad says fuck, but then all the other times the kids are like, what the freak? And I'm like, just let it fly.
Starting point is 01:04:52 Why aren't we just letting it fly? But advertisers is the whole thing. It's advertised, but you know, I used to be someone who was like, let us just cost whenever we want. Kids can watch porn if they want. There's no like, you know, like kids hear this stuff. Like, let's do it. But I think that there's something, and I'm someone who's like, don't ever censor anyone, like say what you
Starting point is 01:05:12 want. But I think that there, this does make it more palatable for everyone to watch because, like, and for F Boy to become a thing that people can say. And it's a branding thing too. Like, I, I know that like younger people, people in middle school or high school can watch the show now and talk about it without getting in trouble or getting detention. Right, right, right. So I think it, and it, it sounded so, I gotta be honest, the first day of the show when I have to be like, welcome to the F-boy Island. They're 12 F-boys and 12 nights ago. I was like, this is the dumbest shit I've ever said. It's the dumbest S I've ever said. I cannot believe I have to say F-boys and actually act like this is serious. but then it just starts to sound right.
Starting point is 01:05:59 Like you know, like it just, it just by the end of that scene, I was like, no, F boy actually feels good and that's a real thing and we're all on board. And it's weird how that can happen. But I do think that this show has allowed me to be that type of host that calls out how dumb all this is and how these relationships probably won't last because nothing. Not because reality relationships are fake. It's because no relationships really last. Like I said the other day about Olivia Munn.
Starting point is 01:06:26 and John Mullaney. We were talking about them on some podcast, and I was like, yeah, I love it. I love, like, watching the news about it and, like, seeing their pictures. They're not going to last. And people who are like, that's so mean. And I go, why is that mean?
Starting point is 01:06:39 Their boyfriend and girlfriend, we don't even know if it's even that official. The odds that it would last are insane. Nothing lasts. Even marriages don't last. It shouldn't be insane to say something. It's just the way it is. So these relationships on that point,
Starting point is 01:06:53 they're not kind of fucking last. And maybe they will. But chances are they're not. But that doesn't mean that we can't treat them. Like these are real emotions people are having. It doesn't invalidate the feelings and the investment as a viewer and as the host. I got very invested. I was getting goosebumps during elimination ceremonies about guys that I was literally the day before being like, why is he even on the show?
Starting point is 01:07:17 Like, I don't care about the relationship. It's such bullshit. He's a lot. Like I was thinking all these things and projecting all this stuff. And then the next elimination, I was like crying. at their love and I was like because it's fucking real dude these emotions are real and just because it's
Starting point is 01:07:32 eventually going to end because it will doesn't make me want to watch it any less for some reason I absolutely agree Nikki does not take away from the show I am so sorry now because you guys watch The Bachelorette we do and we are literally about to interview The Bachelorette in two minutes which is why we have to end this right now
Starting point is 01:07:47 good luck I know don't ask her about her feelings because you're not going to get much but I got to go. Trust me. I'm aware. I love her so much. I'm rooting for her, but I'm team Greg. Peace out. Thank you. Thank you for that. Good luck with that interview, then, if you're team Greg. I'm about to go tell her that.
Starting point is 01:08:04 So, yeah. Give me the confidence to tell her that. Can you tell me, say what you want? I'm going to throw up. Okay, listen to me. I really would like to get some answers from her about the gaslighting accusations because if anyone's gaslighting, I think someone needs to look at themselves because gaslighting is getting thrown around.
Starting point is 01:08:23 Greg, all Craig wanted. was her to say something about her feelings for him. Right. That's all he wanted. And it was so embarrassing for him to even to have to ask that. I know you have to go, I would ask her, why couldn't, what did Greg want and what? Because she would have given him anything. But he, but he couldn't explicitly say, just tell me that I feel a hole in your heart too.
Starting point is 01:08:43 He couldn't say that because it's embarrassing to have to like tell someone what to say. But she would have given him anything to stay. She loved him, but she couldn't do it because she doesn't know how to articulate her feelings. and I would like, I would like to just, I mean, I wouldn't have the ball to you. I'm scared for you. Bye, guys, I love you so much. We love you. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:09:00 Thank you so much. Good luck. DM me. Will you DM me and tell me on your host? Please. Okay. Bye. Bye.
Starting point is 01:09:06 Thank you. I am certainly not the chef in the relationship that I'm in. You know, I don't really cook much. You're not. Joe's a great chef, though. But he's fantastic. So in order for me to compete and for me to step up to the plate, I need a little help. I need green chef.
Starting point is 01:09:25 I need somebody who's going to hold my hands and tell me what to do. I don't have the instinct. I don't have, you know, the spice instinct, the tasting. I need instructions. I need things portioned out properly. And with green chef, I do all of that. And it's healthy. You know, you can choose from all of these different, easy-to-follow recipes.
Starting point is 01:09:45 They got keto, paleo, plant-powered diets. All right, everyone, we are here with three special guests. We have the ladies from the lady gang.
Starting point is 01:11:43 We got Kelty, Becca, and Jack joining us today. If you listen to the show, then you know the lady. gang they've been on here plenty of times and we are always happy to catch up with our good pals how are we doing guys hi i mean i just woke up so i'm doing i'm like at a 52% you're you didn't fully charge last night no no no forgot i never again yeah every time every time i see you guys i remember that time we lost the people's choice award so it takes me to a sad place so i'm just doing i'm like out of four you know i i also like how you guys went different percentages.
Starting point is 01:12:20 Like you were like out of 100, four. Is that out of 100 or out of 10? It's out of 100. Becca, what are you rating yourself right now? Out of one out of a 10, I'm going to say a solid seven. Wow. That's nice. Seven is good.
Starting point is 01:12:41 Yeah, right? Yeah. Seven's good. I mean, I'm also in denial about everything in life and just the state of everything. So yeah, it feels good. Ignorance is bliss. That is true. That's pretty much me.
Starting point is 01:12:54 I mean, ignorance is bliss. We had a moment at our desk yesterday where Fram was like getting frustrated about something. And she's talking to me about it. And I was like, I just don't care. And she goes, well, maybe you should start caring. I was like, it's stuff that has to do with our show. And I was like, you know, I think you need to care a little.
Starting point is 01:13:12 It's out of our, when it's out of your control, we want. Yeah. What do you? Hey, you just got to go with the flow. You know, it. is really the key to life. Because then things can't really bring you down. I actually...
Starting point is 01:13:24 But here's the problem. Yeah. Oh, sorry. No, go ahead. The problem with thinking things are out of your control, it's very relative. So like, Jack and I have the same mentality where we're like, what are we going to do? We can't force people to buy our pod class. And Kelsey's like, no, this is within our control.
Starting point is 01:13:41 We're going to move mountains to do it. So there is, it's a little tough when, you know, one person is a little more. what should I say? That's actually Kelty's form of denial is that she thinks we can move mountains.
Starting point is 01:13:56 Yes, but you can. I've built an entire life on making impossible shit happen. That's true. I'm not of the belief of like it's out of my control. I'm of the belief of
Starting point is 01:14:08 if I push it and stalk it and love it and hug it and cuddle it, it will become what I want. Meanwhile, most people do that and it just, there's it's like the opposite of what you should what you're attracting yeah like I've forced things in my life
Starting point is 01:14:24 and it's just been like you're a desperate idiot I'm not coming near you well it's like begging a boyfriend to get back together with you and they're like many times and that has never worked for you they sometimes come back for like another four months yeah but barely they're barely in it like if you beg somebody to come back to you you know they're just they're like fine like okay we'll do it for like whatever because they feel bad. Yeah and they're like I can get some sex out of this at least and then you're just delaying delaying the inevitable. Yeah. Every time we talk to you guys, we all just are like, yeah, we're all losers. Like that's always the final conclusion is like we're all a bunch of losers. I mean, everybody's a loser. Can I tell you something though? I want to just shout out someone special.
Starting point is 01:15:12 When we had our TV show on E, Ed Shearin has been someone that like I saw, I saw, on the red carpets and he started inviting me to be like exclude he always was like come and interview me exclusively like oh i'll just do healthy i'll just do healthy and when we had the tv show i literally went to everyone i had interviewed in 10 years and was like well you come on my show i got my own show i got my own show and was like yes i'll do it and was like a superstar you know everyone else can go fuck themselves that's a great even chriselle um yeah christel's great she came on our show when she was a heartley Yeah, she was married to someone, you know, more famous and he got his karma.
Starting point is 01:15:54 I'm stoked about that. But he, she came on. She wasn't really doing a ton in her career, like as actors have like quieter times. And then she blows up with like dancing the stars and selling sunset. And she's very much in demand. She's doing things for like vanity fair and blah, blah, blah. And when we asked her to come on the lady gang, we were expecting a big fat no. She's very busy.
Starting point is 01:16:15 And she came on and was amazing and gracious. And like, there are those people. Yeah. So that's the silver line. Yeah. Now you bring up Chrisel, so I must ask. Yes. How are you guys feeling about the new relationship?
Starting point is 01:16:31 Fucking stoked. I know. Right when it came out on Instagram, obviously, because it came from her post, we're sending the post to each other being like, oh, my God, this is fucking amazing. I love it. Kelsey, why are you sitting back like that? I do not feel the same way. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:48 Why? You don't? I thought that we're all in agreeance about this. What? At the first post, I was like, great. Cressel, get your private jet. Like, you know what I mean? This is inspiring.
Starting point is 01:16:59 You've had enough hot fuck boys. And it's like, get the money. Get the man that's going to put all those fucking flowers in your room. But I love this guy. Like, I feel like on selling sunset, they make these two guys still look like they are player players. Like, yeah, like fuck boys. Yeah. Like, they like, they like, they, they, they.
Starting point is 01:17:18 can't like keep a relationship for more than a few months like mary was always shitting on jason for like how like uncommitted he was well maybe he found the right woman yeah or maybe he's just ready to settle down you know it's like that could be the case also chriselle is such a genuine like person she's really kind and i think he's probably dated a lot of like gold digging la trash so i think she could be the one She could be. And I like the combo. And I hope he's like private jet rich.
Starting point is 01:17:52 I keep trying to find out how rich she is. We asked Josh. Yeah. It looked. I mean, based on their vacation that they've been having in Italy for the past like three weeks, it seems like they're quite rich. He has to be private jet right.
Starting point is 01:18:05 He's probably getting all that for free. It's okay. In fucking Europe right now. He has to be private jet rich. Has to be. Also, who's still in L.A. right now out of U.3? Kelty and I. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:17 And Becca, where are you? I'm in Austin Austin how are you liking that I love it it's great it's like I've been here for four months which is so weird I feel like I just moved here like two weeks ago but it's great I feel like I had done the LA thing and I was like ready for a change and so was Zach my husband and he was never really an LA guy he was there for me and so this was like a nice little compromise hold on back to Chrischelle, I just need to tell you something that I loved them together until I saw the video of them dancing together.
Starting point is 01:18:51 And then I pictured them having sex together. And then I was like a little bit like, hmm. Yeah, I have to say I said, I did the same thing. I message that one to Ria on Instagram. It was like, I don't know how I feel about this. And there was also one, there was a kissing picture. And she, just because she was grabbing his head. She had her hand on the top of his head, and I had even something about that dynamic, I didn't like.
Starting point is 01:19:19 It really accentuated the height. Yes. It's superficial as fuck, but you can't deny it. Like, you can't help but just say what you feel when you see that. Yeah. It just confirmed to me that, like, every time I watch selling sunset, I'm just curious about what size they are. Yeah. Like, what are they working with?
Starting point is 01:19:42 Yeah. There's men that are on the, like, not tall side, but they're still like, you know, average whatever. Yep. But when I saw that, I was like, oh, I've been standing next to Crochelle. That man is smaller than me and I'm fucking small. Yeah. There was a group photo of all of them.
Starting point is 01:20:02 Roman. Well, Roman is like Mary's husband. Huge. But this is a thing. In pictures, he looks like he's ginormous because he's, with all these smaller people. I saw a tweet that was like, or maybe it was Instagram, somebody
Starting point is 01:20:18 posted like, just FYI, Romon is like 510. And in these pictures, he looks like he's 6'5, but because everyone else is so short. It's like 5'2. Yeah, yeah. I feel like that meme right now
Starting point is 01:20:34 that was going around with like that really large, like sloppy guy. Like, like insulting. people on the internet? Oh yeah, yeah. The internet commenters at their computer screen, they have like chips pouring out of their mouth and they're like, and like the comment
Starting point is 01:20:51 is like, ooh, it kind of looks like they may have gained some weight. Yeah, listen, we all know that this isn't right talking about the man's height like this, but you can't help, but say it. He's very small and she's tall. What do you think? I don't think she's tall though. What do you think in inclusion? She's like five, six, I think. She's tall. Average. Yeah. I mean, I'm in the fucking basement in
Starting point is 01:21:10 sweatpants in L.A. They're on pasta's tino or whatever on a jet and he's not eating fresh pasta. So who really wins this story. Yeah, they're fine. They're fine. But do you think he's a big dick? I want it up in Mekanos. Nobody, do you think he has a big dick?
Starting point is 01:21:24 Oh, probably. Yeah. The skinniest man I ever dated have the biggest penis. Any tall guys have the biggest penises. I just think it's like, unassoup. They have big dick energy. It's always absolutely. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:36 They're like the definition of short kings. Like when people talk about short kings, like that's, that's, that is them. I've never even heard the term. What? Oh. No. Is that like a jimsy thing? Can I be a short queen?
Starting point is 01:21:49 Yes. Absolutely. You absolutely are. One already. I'm really glad we had this discussion, guys. No, I'm glad we went in depth on this. I actually woke up this morning. I was like, I wonder if we'll talk about Crouchal.
Starting point is 01:22:05 To conclude the Crishell conversation, at least, if they don't make it, hopefully we'll get some really good fucking TV. Oh, fucking great. TV. Oh, that's what I was excited about. I'm like, okay, this is, at first I was shocked and appalled, but then I was like, we're going to get really good TV out of this. Yeah, it's good for me. So, sorry,
Starting point is 01:22:23 not to keep this conversation going. We must change the topic. Do you think this is just a play to get more seasons? No. People don't dance like that together when they're not fucking. I, that was my initial reaction, Kelty. I was like, okay, I really didn't. Like, something hasn't, there hasn't been a new season in a while, so
Starting point is 01:22:42 the hype for me kind of died down. And I saw them all filming again and was like, ooh, okay. Like, I'm not totally intrigued by like Christine's life and like things like that, like doesn't do it for me. But when I saw the post, I was like, oh, now I got to watch. So that, to me, I was like, that's got across their minds as well.
Starting point is 01:23:02 So the visuals I have. The producers are like, yeah, yeah. Seems a subject. I'm not thinking anything else in my head are not good right now. Nobody wants to know the visuals I have in my head. Yeah. about the sex yeah yeah okay we'll move on we will 100% move on i want to ask you guys just like what what you guys are up to what's going on i know we follow like we follow you so closely on instagram so
Starting point is 01:23:24 we like see everything that you're doing at all times but yeah we want everybody listening to know you know what you've been up what you've been up to and uh go ahead whoever wants to whoever wants to start you know we got disney plus shows we're just like building our Manions in L.A. Kelty. I got Ingrown toenail surgery and Becca has a new show on Disney Plus and Jack's boyfriend Jerry is on summer tour as a rock star. So who's winning?
Starting point is 01:23:54 The best part is Kelty, I have like the biggest foot phobia. Like I can't stand feet. They really scare the shit out of me. And Kelty goes on to tag me in her ingrownial posts. I'm so glad I missed that. You guys also Kelty, you were literally just on a private plane to Franz son like give me a fucking break yeah we don't want to hear about your fucking ingrown tone yeah yeah you know what i uh i had my second PJ of the year it was fabulous it wore it on tom for
Starting point is 01:24:22 Gucci yeah can and i was like hanging out with people who invented ketchup yeah and i was so hungry because i really dieted for like four weeks before to fit into the dress and then the morning after i ate 77 dollar creeps and ran into josh flag at the pool it's amazing it was amazing and now I'm back down in my basement with my ingrown toenails. But that's balance. Exactly. I was going to say that's how you make sure your head doesn't get too big. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:24:50 That's how I'll always have time to go on chicks in the office. Yes. You know what I mean? Thank God. Because I'm 72 hours of greatness per month. And then I'm back down soaking my feet in an Epson Salt sink at 7.30 in the morning. I want them to deny us next time. I want you guys just to be like, nope, we can't come on.
Starting point is 01:25:08 I'm pretty sure. We asked to come on. Like, it wasn't really sure we did. No, and like, every time I'm in New York, I'm like, hey, guys, I'm in New York, can I, like, I'm on the show? No, you guys are always welcome. I don't know if you guys know this, but did you start? We started doing a thing where there's so many new podcasts and every publicist is like,
Starting point is 01:25:27 okay, we're going to launch your podcast famous spawn of someone. Yeah. And they're like, hey, can blah, blah, blah, come on lady gang. And I was like, cool. Like, yeah, let's do a pod trade. And they're like, oh, we're good. And I was like, so you want to come on. my show but you don't want me on your show and then we say no I'm like go fuck yourself yeah
Starting point is 01:25:43 yeah it's it's pretty it's wild out here Becca I want to hear about your Disney Plus show because that is just so fucking cool I saw it on Instagram I was freaking out the poster and everything it's called Turner and Hooch it is and it is based off well it's a continuation of the original movie with Tom Hanks Turner and Hooch it was long before your time it was probably before your parents were born but it is a 12 episode series on Disney Plus. They're doing it the way that Disney Plus does it is like they release one episode a week the way we used to watch TV way back when, which is fun.
Starting point is 01:26:22 And my episode just aired and I'm in the rest of the season and it was like very much. It was fun. It was like, you know, I had like 17 years between this and Glee and every article that comes out is like, she's back. Oh my God. We haven't seen her. Did she die? So that's been really exciting to have like,
Starting point is 01:26:39 resurgence in the business, you know, and like have showrooms email me, start emailing me again and like offer me free things. Whereas before I'd be like, hey, I'm going to this premiere. Do you guys have anything I can wear? And then you don't get a response. Like, you know, that kind of thing. So it's been really fun. Well, that sounds awesome. We're so happy for you. Back in the game. Do you see anything else now coming from this? Or is there like a season two maybe in the works, more shows, more auditions are getting. What's going on? Yeah, I mean, I don't want to be greedy, but it would be lovely to be able to continue acting since it's mostly my job. I think the show is doing really well. Hopefully it gets a season two, but I'm on the market, guys. I'm really,
Starting point is 01:27:25 I'm a free agent and I'm ready to work. If there are any casting directors out there listening to the show, they need to hit Becca up. But also hit me up because I'm dying here. Yeah, yeah. Can we Wait, Becca, can we ask you how the dog was because I've always been intrigued by show dogs? Show dogs? It's, they really live the life, first of all. Everything
Starting point is 01:27:46 is around their schedule. So like we come to set and whatever the fuck they need, they get. It's not like, we're like supporting their starring like one man show. But we had several dogs playing the same dog and like there was like
Starting point is 01:28:02 a father's son duo. So like like when the dog needed to be like chill and behave, it was the dad because he was like the more mature one. And then when they needed like a rambunctious, you know, agility dog, it would be the son. And then there was like a girl who was the smartest one because obviously the female dogs are fucking smart. Yep. It was crazy. And those dogs slobber, it's like I've never experienced in my whole life. It's pretty gross.
Starting point is 01:28:30 But it was still, it was a dream, dream job. Love it. Love it. We're excited to watch. Jack, I feel like I'm just always stalking your Instagram for, like, new clothes, new ideas, new outfits, like, all the time. Always. You're the best dressed person I know, I think. Thanks. Sorry, Ria. That was so rude.
Starting point is 01:28:56 Christ. She's leaving. Whoa. No, I agree. Yeah. I did. I did wear a Becca outfit. other day. That was, that really shocked the internet because it was pretty much covering up my entire
Starting point is 01:29:09 body, which I never do. That's why I appreciate you. She doesn't cover her body. Yeah. Because it makes me feel comfortable because I like wearing crop tops all the time too. And then I see Jack posting and I'm like, okay, great. Jackson. Just been waiting for Gen Z. Like it's, she's been dressing like a Gen Zer her whole life. And now you guys really appreciate her style. Well, and you know what's hard now I like shop online. And I really do, I do feel a connection to this Gen Z fashion resurgence that's happening. And I have to check myself sometimes because I'm like, is a 17 year old wearing this? And can I, the answer is yes. Twice the age of that.
Starting point is 01:29:47 Pull it off. And I buy it anyways. And it's my closet. You can absolutely wear it. You can wear it. You pull it off. Like France said, best dress person she knows. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:56 What are you wearing right now? This looks like a club look. I'm, I'll stand up. I will say she did text me this morning. asking at the top was too sexy for work and I said, ah, it's fine. Nobody did this shit for a boss. Like, what you're wearing
Starting point is 01:30:11 to work. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Here's the thing, actually, though. We actually got into a conversation about this. Well, the other day, right? When you, with the Italian night and I was like, I can't do that. I've been wearing like, I don't know. I got all these new clothes. And also, I was living in the city for the past couple of years, but now I'm back on Long Island at my parents' house. So, like, I have to
Starting point is 01:30:34 like actually get on the train for 45 minutes and come here and like, so I like to get dressed in the morning because if I just throw on sweatpants or sweatshers or whatever, which I would do in the city like when I was five minutes away, I don't feel ready to go. I feel like I have to get dressed. So I've been dressing up lately. But then I saw Erica on her podcast say that she thinks we should all be wearing short skirts and whatever we want to work. So I was like, okay, great. I'm going to start. Not that I'm going to start. I always have. But like I felt more. confident in what I was wearing. She, and I mean, she killed it.
Starting point is 01:31:07 Like, she, they did this. Also, we're on camera. You know what I mean? Like, it's not like I'm walking into like an office job. Like, people like to see our outfits. So I feel like it's okay. Yeah, they did, um, what I was going to say? You did like an Italian night the other night. And they all dressed like very, the guys were in track suits. It was very guido-esque. So she was in the full black, like, leather, tall boots with the shorts. And we had, um, I guests coming into the office and we were also taking pictures.
Starting point is 01:31:37 Head shots. We had to take head shots and we were like, so she sends me the picture of her outfit and was like this is what I'm wearing and I was like we're gonna look, I'm gonna look like an asshole standing next to you with this. I was like, you gotta put on an outfit like this and she was like, I can't and I was like yes you can. Yes you can. I was like I and I tried to. I tried on like 12
Starting point is 01:31:57 outfits some of which had jean shorts and boots and I was like I I panicked. You can't panic. I put on flare jeans and a long top and heels and felt more comfortable. Well, you know what? As long as you're comfortable.
Starting point is 01:32:13 But I just want you to know, you probably looked hot as fuck and you would have killed it walking into this office. Yeah. Well, thanks. All right. To wrap up, we want to play a little game. It is Mary Fuck Hill, but friend. I'm very into Love Island right now, Jack, you'll understand. So we're calling this one Snog Mary Pie instead.
Starting point is 01:32:30 Okay. Can you place Snog is obviously have sex Mary and pies is you know When you pie someone off You get pied as like a British You get Like kind of broken up with in like an embarrassing way
Starting point is 01:32:43 It's like killing him off Yeah Okay Yeah It's a nice way of saying it Okay First one Ben Stiller
Starting point is 01:32:51 Vince Vaughn and Jason Siddakas This is Ria's favorite Yeah Did we talk about this with them? No No What Who did we talk about this with?
Starting point is 01:33:01 I don't know. Okay, no, I know, I know. But I just had a weird flashback when you said that out loud. I am so sexually attracted to Ted Lassow. I don't know why. Like, fuck. Like, I was so excited for what's her face when she went off with Harry Stiles. And I was like, yes, get one for the old lady team.
Starting point is 01:33:20 Like, there is a possibility I could be with Harry Stav. And then Ted Lassow came out and I was like, what have you done? Yeah. Left America's hottest man in. America with a visor on. The timing of the breakup really worked out for him with everybody falling in love with him
Starting point is 01:33:38 in Ted Lasso. So I love that for him. So are we going to be, but are we choosing like Jason Sudecas as Jason Sudakis, not as Ted Lassow? But can you even think of him as Jason Sudecassas without Ted Lassau anymore? What else? Says Jason Sudecis even? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:33:54 I don't know. I don't know. He's been into like a million funny movies. He's been in like every comedy. He's so fucking funny. Just as himself. Yes, we're the Millers. Okay. Snog Jason.
Starting point is 01:34:08 I would snog Ben Stiller. Because I have a feeling that he might be good at bed. He has some like sexual energy to him that I'd be really willing to try out. Because he seems kind of angry, right?
Starting point is 01:34:25 Yeah. No, but also in the movies that he does, he's like sexual. in kind of. Yeah. He's got like a vibe to him. I would snog Ben Stiller, kill Vince Vaughn,
Starting point is 01:34:39 even though he's really tall and that I really love that. And then Mary or whatever the word is for that. Mary. Jason Seedicus. Ted Blasso.
Starting point is 01:34:52 What about you gals? This is going to be controversial. I would marry Vince Vaughn. I think he'd be a good time. I would snog Jason Sudakis and Pye Stiller.
Starting point is 01:35:10 That's mine. Really? Yeah. Love Vince Vaughn. I just, I saw a picture on Instagram and now I'm going to forget who posted it, but it was maybe Drew Barrymore posted it.
Starting point is 01:35:23 It was all headshots of some show that they were all on they were young, Vince Vaughn was like in high school or I mean, whatever, he was a teenager. And he was so hot. Oh, yeah. Really? I've never seen young Vince Vaughn and I was floored.
Starting point is 01:35:42 You've never seen young Vince Vaugh? No. I love Vince Vaughn so much. No, never seen young Vince Vaugh. Oh, my God. Young Vince Vaughn is beautiful. All right, Kelty, let's get an answer out of you. Snog, Ted Lasso, um, pie Vince Vaughn because I have no recollection of Vince Vaugh in my life.
Starting point is 01:35:59 What? Hello. What's the other one? Ben Stiller? Oh, I found it. It was Drew Barrymore. Yes, that's it. So hot.
Starting point is 01:36:06 I can't even seen that picture. I can't believe you've never seen a young Vince Vaugh. No, never seen that picture. That's crazy. It's too much forehead. Can you imagine our children? They would literally be like the cone heads from that 90s show. Like it would be four, five head plus the six head equals an 11 head.
Starting point is 01:36:22 That's so much forehead. You don't go on the forehead. All right. Next one. We got Chris Evans. Chris Hemsworth Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pine. We left off Chris Prap
Starting point is 01:36:36 but he could be an option if he wanted to put him in. Evans Hemsworth Pine? Yes. Okay. Okay. I think Chris Pine would be a lazy lover
Starting point is 01:36:47 even though he's the most attractive of all them. I can see that. Men are lazy lovers. I can see that. And men that only have sex with models or like model adjacent people, which I'm pretty sure is Chris Pine.
Starting point is 01:37:00 They're also very lazy lovers. Allegedly. Chris Hemsworth, I would marry. That's the hottest man. Can you imagine the healthy smoothie he would make you in the morning? Before you like go surfing in Australia. The healthiest pump-up smoothie you've ever had with like fresh. Chris Evans could do you dirty.
Starting point is 01:37:25 Snog. And then Chris Pine. No. Pie. I feel exactly the same. I do too. The sweater is so beautiful. Like, cable knit was born so it could be worn on Chris Evans. I'd marry Chris Evans.
Starting point is 01:37:42 Yeah, I actually think I'd flip as well. Fuck, Chris Hemsworth and then kill Pine because Hemsworth, I feel like I'm okay with just having sex with him like once. He's almost like too hot to marry if that makes sense. Like, I don't know if. Chris Hemsworth. Yeah, like my lifestyle would not. fit and Chris Evans is obviously very fit as well but I do think he still has like that like Boston vibe in him where he can hang and like have a beer and chill and like have a lazy weekend I don't think Chris I don't know if
Starting point is 01:38:10 Chris Hemsworth knows how to have a lazy weekend that that's what I feel I feel like Chris Evans's personality is better than Chris Hemsworth and I'd rather spend all my time with Chris Evans yeah Chris Hemsworth's wife is actually who we all want to snog that she is like yeah hottest woman yeah on planet earth All right, I got one more. They have a beautiful. I love but hate all their like family Instagram posts of them like just being an adorable family like playing on the beach and like doing dad stuff. Like how do you have it all? My friend is shooting a movie in Australia and she's like literally it's just Hemsworths everywhere barefoot.
Starting point is 01:38:45 Like it's crazy. That's amazing. All right. One last one. And now I don't I don't know if you guys are going to know one of these because I know Jack does but so maybe this one's just for you. So reality show edition. Okay. Tyler Cameron, Tommy Fury, and Harry Jousy.
Starting point is 01:39:06 Oh, God. Harry Jousie can die. Tommy Fury, who is the first one? Oh, Tyler Cameron. I would marry Tyler, because I feel like you guys love him, which means he must be decent enough of a human to spend some time with. He's a nice guy. And then Tommy is just so hot and huge that I would definitely enjoy a sexual escapade with him.
Starting point is 01:39:35 And then Harry is, you know, dead. Gone. Did you read the Tyler book? I know you guys had him on to promote it. I have read. I have skimmed. I've thoroughly read like the first 50 pages and then the rest I have skimmed. Can I get a review?
Starting point is 01:39:55 It is. Did he write it? Did someone else write it? I'm always very intrigued by Bachelor and Bachelorette people who write books. I read them all. Like I read Colton's book. Like I read fucking Ben Flajnix, the girl that he picked book. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:09 Courtney. Yes, Courtney. Like I've read all their books. So I'm always very intrigued by like whatever story they are selling in the book. And I love Tyler. I think he was approached by a publisher to say like, you know, this is the idea we have for you to write a book and he was like, great. Who would have...
Starting point is 01:40:30 What's the premise of the book? Is it like an autobiography? The premise is basically coming from a hot man who, you know, has had playboy tendencies in his youth to help inform women what they really should be looking for in a man. It's a little weird switch, but the book is literally called You Deserner. better. So it's and he has you know he definitely has a lot of stories about himself and his like growing up in football and all that jazz. And like Hannah and the relationships being on the show. And then the rest is like someone else wrote it and he's a tip song. It's a Kylie and Kendall generation. Remember when they wrote that like space? Oh my God. And then they were like tell us about the on the today show or whatever they're like tell us about the book and they didn't even know what the book is about.
Starting point is 01:41:25 classic dude classic all right well thank you guys so much for joining us we love you guys once again we're losers we accept that every time we're all together lady losers uh say where everyone can follow and listen to you guys please uh listen to lady gang every tuesday and thursday where we get podcasts after you listen to chicks in the office of course it's good because we intertwines so nobody has to we're monday wednesday friday and you're tuesday thursday so every day full week yep when you're on the train from Long Island. Starting point is 01:42:05 We have a bunch of really cool clothes coming out in the fall that we've been working for years on. So you want to support an indie brand. Please come on over and I'm very excited for that because I did purchase your, like, the loungeware stuff you guys made, which I was obsessed with. The black, I bought the black, we're making, the black top and the black pants I purchased for myself and literally in the winter lived in it. It was so great. Oh, yay. We'll send you more. We're making new colors. Amazing. Thank you. Boom. I will have to, I will have to shamelessly send, request them because I, I could, but I also want to support. Like, I bought it because I was like, you know, I'm going to buy it. But, you know, you can always ask. And you know what I just thought.
Starting point is 01:42:55 I'm probably going to make you a crop top. Like, I'm going to take one of the extra pieces of fabric and I'm make you a little bikini top that goes to the sweatpants. Isn't that so cute? Can you guys? We'll be doing this. It'll be really practical in Long Island in December. Yes.
Starting point is 01:43:14 No, no. It's an office look. I will wear it in December. Yeah. No, that is an office. That's an office look for sure. Yes. I've got to be honest.
Starting point is 01:43:22 I can't wait for colder weather so that I don't have to keep seeing Gen Z's torsos. It's still going to be there. My torso's hanging out. It's just all the low-rise stuff. Even I can't do the low-rise stuff.
Starting point is 01:43:35 I'm not behind it. My tramp stamp is not officially lasered off yet, so I cannot do low-rise. Like, until that tramp stamp is gone, we've got to have a high pant. I like it. Occasionally.
Starting point is 01:43:51 Well, guys, that's a great way to end. You know, we're, We love you. Once we get rid of our term stamps, we'll never be too cool for you. Thank you. No, we want. I know.
