Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran. We are giving you that Friday energy on a Thursday. Of course, we hope you have a fantastic Thursday, whatever you're doing right now, getting ready for the weekend.
Starting point is 00:00:35 Fourth of July week is next week. We're very excited. Yeah, we're super excited. It's important to note that you're going to Italy. Yeah, we're going on vacation. I'm going to the Bahamas. You're going to see some great picks from us. I'll say that.
Starting point is 00:00:49 Maybe. I get scared to post on my Instagram. What? You know, I never post my Instagram because I get scared. You shouldn't be scared. I really get scared. We're going to open up a different conversation right now. But I, yeah, maybe.
Starting point is 00:01:02 We'll see. I get nervous about Instagram. Okay, well, we're all going to post some great picks on Instagram, including Noah, who we had the, the Barstool Duncan Awards and Noah had some great snapshots taking it. Noah, you got a great picture, but you're not really an Instagram guy, so. I just always feel uncomfortable like posting anything about me. Well, you know what, Noah, we're telling you that we want you to post that picture, you know,
Starting point is 00:01:28 just. What would you even write with that picture? It's just a picture of me. I would make a joke about it. I'd be like, oh, I don't know. Make a Duncan Awards joke. You do something. Oh, like, you know, like.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Oh, wow, got a lot of screen time last night. You know, something so simple you could write. And I just feel like, you know, you only have like three pictures on your Instagram. Yeah, I don't use Instagram. I like stories. But, not really. You know what? I'm just going to give you the password and you guys can run my account.
Starting point is 00:01:55 I would love to do that. I would love to run nose account. That would be, we could probably make you into a really cool Instagram. Okay, I will say that. Like right now with your headphones on, mic, the computer, just me, hard at work. You never know. Yeah. You really never know.
Starting point is 00:02:08 But we are going to be away, so that's an important thing to note. We will still have a Monday episode, of course, but we won't have one. Thursday, Fourth of July. We won't have Thursday, Fourth of July. But also, it's Fourth of July. You don't want to listen to us in Fourth of July. No, I hope everybody has big plans on the Fourth of July. Don't lie to us because we know you want to do other stuff on Fourth of July.
Starting point is 00:02:28 Just a reminder, send me your woe. Did I just send that? Because you guys have been crushing it ever since my announcement, ever since my PSA, people have been sending some really great ones, so keep them coming. Great. Yeah. So I'm excited about that. A few episodes ago, we talked about my red Powerblazer that we bought together because
Starting point is 00:02:50 I was interviewed for HBO Real Sports. They didn't even put it in it. And they didn't even put the interview. I talked about this. I was interviewed for an hour straight. I know I mentioned that a million times. An hour straight. In case anybody didn't know, it was for an hour.
Starting point is 00:03:06 hour straight. So I mentioned that multiple times and then afterwards we're like, Rhea, you mentioned multiple times in there that you were interviewed for an hour straight. Like, we get it. Like, how long were you interviewed for? I did see one reply to your blog like, wait, how long was we interviewed for? And I did giggle. Yeah. I laughed too. But I wanted to reiterate a million times. Yeah. About how long I was interviewed. Just because I know everyone's like, oh, wow, an hour grueling experience. Like, no, that's not the point. I was picked up and dropped off by a car service with my name on it to another location where we sat down for an hour straight. And according to Soledadad, you had a great interview. Yeah. And Soledadad, even afterwards, was telling other people that work here,
Starting point is 00:03:52 that work on the business side of things and telling Erica, you know, all these positive things about me. She did have high praise for you. She had a lot of high praise that I heard feedback from. So So I was expecting, okay, you know, I'm not an idiot. I know that an hour of me is not going to be in it. I thought at least 50 seconds. Right. Something. You know, it's a 16.
Starting point is 00:04:14 Give me whatever it is, one line. I was like, that's it. Just to show how great Barstle is at giving people an opportunity. Because we see it all the time on Twitter. Just all these people, oh, Barstle's misogynistic. Oh, they don't treat their female employees, right? Oh, this, that. the other thing. But then when a woman who works here speaks up about it, everyone ignores her.
Starting point is 00:04:38 So to me, that's unfair. And I think that HBO had an opportunity to show a different side that nobody's seen before. Everybody has seen these hip pieces. You didn't show any. It was lazy journalism. Because we've just heard it all before. It was just lazy and boring journalism work. Because we have seen it all before. You could have shown the great sides of Barstool and how they give people a platform that probably wouldn't have it anywhere else. I mean, I could admit that I was a 20-year-old college dropout. You don't get a national radio show. That's just not real life. But at Barstool Sports, that is real life. And that's what they did for me. And I really wanted people to know that. Right. You know, it wasn't about, oh, you know, you wanted to be on TV.
Starting point is 00:05:22 I don't give a fuck about being on TV. I have multiple places to speak here, multiple platforms. It was about the fact that what I said didn't fit their narrative so they didn't put it in. If I went in there and I said, yeah, you know, Dave really did upset me and I am hurt by this and fuck him, they would have put that in there. They would have made time to put that in there. But instead they had to put all the other hip pieces in instead of just putting in 20 seconds of me saying how great it is to work here. Yeah. And the thing is that it made it clear that that was really never their intention. Dave said it as well on the rundown tonight.
Starting point is 00:06:03 It's, it's, they interview, they, they saw that story about you and Dave. It was like, there's an opportunity here to have an employee say something negative about Dave. Right. Let's take it. And so the unit gave them that material. So they were like, oh, well, we wanted to put that into the show. So I guess we just don't put anything in. Yeah, but at the same time, I was picked to.
Starting point is 00:06:26 And the same thing with Erica, though, but they did the same thing. employee year and I was yes they didn't put in any of the stuff that Erica talked about all the positive stuff Erica talked about Keith wrote a whole blog about it because he listened to the whole thing and all the positive things from Erica they also didn't put in so it wasn't even just you or Dave or you specifically or from the beginning the positive wasn't what they wanted to highlight right right so I think that I just thought the whole thing was bullshit because I gave a great interview. I know for a fact that it was a solid interview about how great everyone is here to work with, the opportunities they give you. You truthfully could just walk in here, grab a mic or a camera
Starting point is 00:07:10 and really make anything you want. It was just never the story they wanted to tell. They didn't want to tell that story. They asked me, you know, endless questions about how I got started, just endless about ad deals. Oh, do you guys do things for money? Is chicks offensive? You know, a bunch of questions about Dave, what I think about Dave. You know, how would I describe him? And I described him in a very positive light, and they just didn't put that in there
Starting point is 00:07:37 because they wanted me to describe him in a negative light. It's clear now that that's what the case is. It is what it is. Yeah. Oh, well. I just wanted to blog my side of it because I, I felt like it was unfair to Barstool that they didn't put in the positive of it. I just feel like I've been blessed with this opportunity, which I said I put in the,
Starting point is 00:08:00 I put a little bit of the audio in it, which the person recording just, I would say, didn't really do the best job. I'll put that out there. But they got some of it. Put it in the blog. And I mentioned it there. We both feel very blessed to work here. And I just wanted that to be shown to people who try and speak for us.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Because there are a lot of people that will try and speak for us and say, oh, this is how they feel. This is how we have felt about the situation. And I clearly told her how I felt about the situation. I said, I'm happy it happened because I am. I truthfully think that things came out for the better after that. Like me and Dave became closer. I felt like, okay, now I don't give a fuck what he says or what anyone says. And then I realized it was all a joke because when I heard it, it was taken out of context.
Starting point is 00:08:47 So I expressed that to her. And I know Soledad was very taken aback that I said I wasn't offended because I know that she mentioned it after and said, I don't know how Ria is not offended. Yeah. So that's what it is. They were mad that I wasn't offended. They were mad. I had nothing bad to say.
Starting point is 00:09:05 So they didn't put it in. But I put my side. Thankfully, we do have a voice here at Barstool, which is what I mentioned a million times. Yeah. And thankfully, I can sit here and say what was actually said in the interview. Agreed. there it is that's all that's really all i have to say about i mean i'm chilling people are like i'm not it's just i'm not whining about it i just wanted to put out there that barstle really does
Starting point is 00:09:30 give people these great opportunities and it really would have been nice if they showed it we thought you know what you're not going to get nice we yeah we thought that they were maybe going to show both sides they didn't and it just went the route that we've obviously seen before so it's like around the office, it's just like, oh, well, they did what we, maybe we thought they were going to do. But it's like in a couple days and whatever. Whatever. And it was boring. It was just boring.
Starting point is 00:09:57 We've seen it all before. It would have been more interesting just to hear Soledad talked to Brian Gubble about it and just, you know, like, because that was the only part that I thought was interesting was Soledad trying to explain her experience here, which she, you know, kind of. kind of had nice things to say about it. And Gumbo was so taken aback. But it was like, that was interesting. But there was no reflection of what she said in the segment at all. Exactly. There was really no insight.
Starting point is 00:10:32 And then when she mentioned that, oh, we reached out to 15 targets of barstool and they didn't want to speak, could she have at least mentioned, oh, I spoke to a woman who works there and she said this, this and this. You just neglected that completely. You just didn't put that in at all. Which is why it pissed me off. But all in all, it was the same thing that we've all seen before. So it really wasn't that bad, but they could have shown positive and they chose not to.
Starting point is 00:11:04 They just, they wanted a controversial narrative, which I didn't give them. But we have a great show. We have a great show for everybody. Like usual, we're talking about your problem with the Jonas Brothers. The Bachelorette recap with Trent. We got Kylie Jenner and Arod, a little miscommunication at the MacGala. Kim and her new brand kimono. Demi fans going after Jonas fans and vice versa.
Starting point is 00:11:30 We have the Hills Recap. And we have Dix in the office with Caleb Rhone, where we talk about Tanna Mojo and Jake Paul getting engaged. Let's get into it starting off with the Jonas Brothers. All right. So the Jones Brothers came out with the Jonas Final Club. And at first, I was angry on Twitter. I have to admit, it was very expensive. They did not have a payment plan.
Starting point is 00:11:51 I think I stepped up to the plate. They got a payment plan. I got drunk Friday night and purchased the Jonas Final Club. I had more faith in you than this, Fran. And honestly, I'm not surprised. I'm just disappointed. Because somebody tweeted at me, I was at this party Friday night. Somebody tweeted me that they made a payment plan.
Starting point is 00:12:12 I didn't even look at the payment plan. before I was already typing in my credit card number. And when I looked back at it, I was like, this isn't even that great of a deal. It is still pulling so much money out of my bank account at one time. But I did it. It happened. It was another drunk purchase. I have the confirmation.
Starting point is 00:12:33 I'm in it. Let's see when the first shipment comes. I think it's supposed to be like August. See, this is, see, another drunk purchase on France Park. But my problem is. A hefty purchase. The Jonas Brothers, the crew. create an installment plan, which I think has to do with Fran.
Starting point is 00:12:47 I think I honestly think you led the charge. I mean, you raised about it for 20 minutes. Your tweet went, you know, people were loving your tweet. They were like, yes, Fran, stick up for us Joe Brohose. People were loving it. So I think the Jonas Brothers or Kevin may have saw your tweet. I said, we got to do an installment plan. That's what I was thinking.
Starting point is 00:13:04 The installment plan that they came up with is not good. So explain the installment plan to everybody. Honestly, I still don't really know what exactly it is because I like I said, drunk purchase. But I think it pulls $150 every two weeks for four weeks. So $200.
Starting point is 00:13:24 No, six weeks? 15. Yeah, no. I cannot do this math in my head. Four weeks. Does that add up to $600? Four weeks? Everybody's looking to me.
Starting point is 00:13:37 $150 for four weeks. Yes. Okay. So you have to pay $150 every week for a four weeks. Every two weeks. $150 every two weeks. two weeks for it's going to be two months. Okay, well, I mean, I still don't think that's a fantastic plan, but at the same time,
Starting point is 00:13:52 if it was lower than that, then you'd be paying way more for longer. Not way more, but you would be paying less for longer, which I don't know which would. What is better? I don't know. Which one is better? Would you rather get it out of the way or would you rather space it out? Right. Would I rather be paying like 30 bucks every month.
Starting point is 00:14:07 That would go on forever. Yeah, but that's kind of like a gym membership type of thing. It is. You forget about it. It is. And I definitely wouldn't notice it on my credit card statement as much if it was a smaller amount. No, the 150 you're going to recognize. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:21 And then you don't even have a record player. Yeah, that's really the other thing that I've come to, I'm going to have to buy a record player. Well. But my birthday's coming up and my friend said maybe that'll be my present. That's a great present because you're going to need one. It's something you actually need. It's not something you want. You actually need it because these records will go too waste.
Starting point is 00:14:38 They won't be playing themselves. That's for sure. And so I, and especially if they come. I mean, I don't know how often they're going to be delivered. I just know the first shipment's going to come around August. So I don't know if it's going to be a monthly thing or whatever it is. Could be longer than that. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:14:55 So once my birthday comes around in September, it'll be perfect. So when do you actually get the shipment of the records? There are four different shipments, I believe, but I also got the deluxe. Oh, God. The deluxe limited edition version. Of course you did. Because if you were going to buy, you might as well get the deluxe. I mean, you might as well.
Starting point is 00:15:17 Like, at that point, if I'm going to spend $400, I might as well just spend the $600. I agree with you on that. Well, I mean, not really. It's so much money. Yeah, that's a lot of money. It's so much money. Like, I actually don't, I said I agree with you. I actually don't agree with you at all on that.
Starting point is 00:15:33 I would never spend that money for records that I will never play. It's so much money. Actually, you'll play them once and you'll never play them again. I guess there'll be good collectibles for when you're older and then maybe you could sell them or something. I don't really know. That's what I was thinking. Maybe later in life, they'll have some value. Maybe. Maybe. It's just way too much money for no reason, Fran.
Starting point is 00:15:51 Well, this is the thing. Can you get a refund? Is it too late to cancel that order? I do think I will listen to them. You think you're going to listen to them? Yeah. How often are you going to put... Did you hear how much my New York accent just came out in that when I said often? How often are you going to sit in your apartment and put the record in the record player and listen to it. How many times you think that's going to happen? Probably not the songs that I have digitally, but there are ones that are coming out on the vinyl,
Starting point is 00:16:27 on vinyl that are not released digitally. However, this will really be bad for me if they do decide to release those songs digitally and I'm the idiot who has all the vinals. I hate to break it to you, but I think at some point they will release them digitally because because the people who have the vinals are just going to release recordings of the songs. But at this point it's like a collector's item. It's just like for $600. Yeah. Yeah. That's too much. That's too much for the Jonas Brothers. I'm sorry, Fran. I'm sorry. Join by June 28th for shipment number one in August. Shipment number one? Yes, there's four shipments.
Starting point is 00:17:06 And the deluxe. The deluxe only goes to 1,500 people. So that's a pretty elite group of Jonas fans that I am a part of. That is something, I guess, you could say, you know, there's millions of people in the world. 5,100 of you have this deluxe. So you were one of the first to buy it? Is that because it tops off at 1,500? Is that what they're saying?
Starting point is 00:17:33 So you were the sucker who wanted to spend $600. Yep, exactly. They got it. They got me in. It says it is limited to 1,500, limited edition deluxe membership. It includes everything, but you also, I don't know. I'm getting it all. I'll see it when I get it.
Starting point is 00:17:52 It comes with this big Jonas Brothers vinyl storage case. Look at this thing. It's massive. Oh, my God, Fran. I could keep all. I wish people could see this. It looks like, I can keep all of them in that. It looks like a dealer no deal case times 100.
Starting point is 00:18:06 Like it's humongous. It's massive. It's absolutely ginormous. I'll be able to keep them all in there. And then, look, like I said, shipment one comes in August. I just want to say that you could have spent $600 on something. So many other things. On so many other things.
Starting point is 00:18:23 Like maybe a vacation. So many other things. You could have saved that money for so many other things. And I'm not going to parent you right now because it's usually the opposite. But I just want to say I'm disappointed in you. This is the thing. I will clarify. I am not.
Starting point is 00:18:37 I'm not very reckless. with my money. So, you know, like, I felt like I was in a good place to purchase this and not be in ramen for dinner every night, you know? Okay. That's fair. I felt like I will be okay, especially in the payment plan situation. If it was all taken out at one time, I'd be like, all right, that was, that one hurt. Yeah. I felt that in my body. You would have to cut back on your dinners for the week. Yeah, but I, you feel better about this. I feel okay. Now I just need the record player. That's fine. As long as you feel okay, I just want to say, if the Jonas brothers don't come on this goddamn show.
Starting point is 00:19:11 After you... I spent... $600, first of all, $600 on these records. The tour, you're going to multiple concerts, the merch that we haven't even gotten yet. If they don't come on this goddamn show, I'm going to be so pissed off by the end of next year. Yeah. By June next year, this time... We giving them a deadline?
Starting point is 00:19:30 I'm giving them a deadline. By June 2020? By June 2020. I'll say June 24th, 2020. Okay. Because that's today's date. If they do not make it on the show... I'm done listening to Joe Bro's music.
Starting point is 00:19:41 I have now reached a ridiculous amount of money. Only because I have your back. I've spent in like the last five months. Because they know, they see it. I'm telling you they see you spending the money. I would hope so because, hey, I push for that payment plan. It showed up. Somebody tweeted me today.
Starting point is 00:20:00 You know, are we buying it? I told her I already bought it. It's already done. So maybe, you know, just, hey guys. Boys, just keep that on your radar. Look at all, I'm spending a lot of money on you guys. Spending a lot of money. Lacey, too, has come on the show.
Starting point is 00:20:15 It really is. It's just, I don't, I don't know, Joe Bros. Just get it together. Get on the show. Fran's spending a lot of money. She's going to go broke because of you guys. I'll bring all the vinals in. We can have like a nice, like maybe they can sign them.
Starting point is 00:20:28 Yeah, something. Just something. Explain, talk about them. Anything to show appreciation for the amount of money you have given them. Yeah. Because it's a lot. I will say I'm getting camp rock songs on vinyl. Never thought I'd be able to say that.
Starting point is 00:20:42 See, that's nice. See, that's what that switches all around. Oh my God. My headphones just flew off my head, literally. They just flew off. I don't know. Like a ghost came in and pushed the headphones off my head because I didn't touch them. It was really a reaction to me saying I got, I have camp rock music on vinyl.
Starting point is 00:20:58 Yeah, well, honestly, I'm a little jealous of that. I didn't know it came with camp rock songs. That's the limited edition. That's awesome. That's what I'm getting for the deluxe. Is it, um, All of the camp rock songs or just the ones with the Joe Bros in it? I got to find you.
Starting point is 00:21:11 Play my music. I got to find you. Yeah. Play my music is actually one of my favorite Joe bro songs. It's an absolute jam. From Camp Rock. Exactly. All right. Well, that kind of makes it better.
Starting point is 00:21:22 I kind of understand that a little bit more. But by December, I'm going to ask you how many times you have listened. Okay. Okay. And I want an update. I'm going to give you until December because I don't know when they're getting to you. Or when I'm getting the record player to actually. play them. Exactly. You said your birthday. Your birthday's in September. So I need to give you some leeway. I'll have a
Starting point is 00:21:41 few months hopefully. So in December, I'll check back. And then in June 2020, if the Joe Bros don't come on the show, we're going to have a big problem, friend. It makes me laugh every time I look at it. Without fail, I laugh every single time. He spoke with Sports Illustrated and he was talking about the table at the mecgala.
Starting point is 00:23:20 He said he were sitting with Kylie and Kendall Jenner. And he said, Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick and how rich she is. Now, that quote, obviously very buzzy was picked up. up everywhere. Everyone's tweeting it out. Kylie retweeted the headline, a post about the headline, and just said, um, no, I didn't. We only spoke about Game of Thrones. To which A-Rod then replied to that saying, oh my God, that's right, Kylie. And not even, oh my God, he wrote, OMG, that's right, Kylie Jenner. It was me talking about you and your makeup line and how much my girls love you. Hashtag G-O-T hashtag respect hashtag all love
Starting point is 00:24:06 This story is hilarious This is so funny because you know that J-Lo in general Or just like Chris Jenner Must have reached out to Arod being like What the fuck are you saying? My daughter's talking about being rich Yeah At the Mecca-W
Starting point is 00:24:23 Because honestly when I saw that I was confused because I really don't think You know Kylie Jenner is Kylie Jenner But I don't think that she would be bragging about how rich she is, especially at the mech gala table where everybody's rich. Everybody's rich. Everybody's rich. And everybody knows how rich Kylie Jenner is. She doesn't have to tell you because we're all very, very aware of it. She's a billionaire. So I don't, I actually really don't see her being that type of person. So that was funny. I can't figure out if maybe he was
Starting point is 00:24:52 trying to make a joke or if he was just like, oh, you know, she was talking about how rich she is. Like one of those situations. Yeah, it just was, if it was a joke, then his tweet after makes no sense because when she said, no, we're talking about Game of Thrones. And he goes, oh, that's right. I was the one talking about your makeup. So maybe Arod brought up the fact that she's really ripped off her makeup. And then Kylie was like, yeah, I am. And I just forgot that he was the one who mentioned it first. I have no idea how that happens. But I do know that Arod and J-Lo are good friends of the Kardashian family. So I hope that this doesn't really damper the relationship because I think Kylie might get piss.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Or J-Lo just being like, hey, babe, you know, next time, just refrain. Maybe don't throw Kylie's name into the mix. Right. Right. Or say she was talking about how rich she is. Which also maybe in, maybe in A-Rod's eyes, isn't that, isn't like a bad thing? Like, oh, she was, you know, she's talking about how rich she is. Rich people talk about how rich they are.
Starting point is 00:25:56 True. It's just like what rich people do. A-Rod probably talks about how rich is. That's what I'm saying. Like maybe they were all at the table talking about how rich they are. Right, right. Like how much money you got? How much money do you got?
Starting point is 00:26:06 And everyone's like, we all have a ton of money. And then everyone was like, well, Kylie with her lipstick and makeup, she's so rich. Right, right. That could definitely be what happened. They're all talking about their different businesses. Arod's saying, you know, I got a new podcast. It's the corporate big cat. And they're like, that's great.
Starting point is 00:26:21 But what about Kylie's makeup? Yep, exactly. Which makes it even funnier that Kylie was like, you know what? We were just talking about Game of Thrones because I, I would love to see this table just chat about Game of Thrones and their thoughts. That was their conversation at the Mechala table. They only, we only spot. She said we only spoke about Game of Thrones.
Starting point is 00:26:44 I would love to hear all their opinions. Right. I actually think it would have been a headline if he said that. If he said, I mean, Kylie Turner talked about Game of Thrones at the Mechala. I thought that would have been a headline. Maybe if he threw out like Kylie's hot take about the Game of Thrones, maybe she had some strong opinions. Yeah, maybe she did.
Starting point is 00:27:02 If she was like, if A-Rod was like, yeah, Kylie hated Game of Thrones, people would be like, Kylie Jenner, hated ending of Game of Thrones. We need that. I'd actually love to know how Kylie felt about Game of Thrones. Like, now that we're here, Kylie, can you tell us?
Starting point is 00:27:17 Because now we know you were talking about it. Exactly. So let us know. It was just such a funny reply from A-Rod. It just makes me laugh. The OMG, that's right. OMG, that's right. Oh, classic mix-up, A-Rod.
Starting point is 00:27:29 How does that happen? I'm so silly. I must have messed up the story. You said this while we were filming our video and you said it would have been even better if A. Rod called himself like a silly goose. Oh yeah. If he was like, oh, it's such a silly goose. Sorry, Kylie.
Starting point is 00:27:43 I would have been so dadlike. Yeah, exactly. I would have appreciated it so much. But even this tweet was so dad. So dad. You can't hate Arod for this. The tweet was perfect. Hashtag GOT.
Starting point is 00:27:54 Hashtag hashtag all love. It's all love. It's always all love between A. Rod, J-Lo, and the Kardashians. So hopefully they get through that. Yes, definitely. I sure hope. To, I guess, let's stay on the Kardashians topic for a second. Kim, Kim's launching this line of shapewear, spanks, looking underwear situation that is honestly, very interesting looking because I saw one picture of a full body suit, but then like one leg is kind of exposed and then it's
Starting point is 00:28:28 tight on the other leg so for dresses that maybe you're wearing a high slit so people were freaking out about that. Like Chrissy Teagan was like, wow, I don't have to cut my spanks anymore. People are excited about it. However, people are also upset about it because the name of the shapewear line
Starting point is 00:28:45 is called kimono. See, when I saw this, immediately I thought to myself that's a dumb name for underwear. Right. I thought, hmm, that makes absolutely zero sense. She couldn't think of any other name. That was my genuine first reaction. I didn't think much about it afterwards. Yeah. But I now understand why people would be, you know, a little upset about this because it just doesn't make
Starting point is 00:29:07 sense because she could have gone with, with anything else. And a kimono represents Japanese culture. Yeah. At this point, I feel like she just picked that name because it's a piece, it's a, it's a, garment, and her name fits into it. And there was really no more. She didn't really think, thinking past that. So obviously, like, you know, kimonos go back in Japanese history for centuries upon centuries and a lot of people are tweeting,
Starting point is 00:29:35 you know, that they're very upset. One girl wrote basically what you're doing is creating a line of underwear and calling them traditional Japanese garments. Another said, my culture is not your underwear. Kardashian. So Kim trademarked
Starting point is 00:29:51 the word or the phrase kimono which i don't know how how do you i don't know how you do that i don't know how you do that but she didn't in last april and i guess she's also since then trademarked even more phrases with kimono kimono body kimono solution wear kimono world and kimono intimates uh and people are now using the hashtag kim oh no get it yes kim oh no kim oh no him, oh no. I understand.
Starting point is 00:30:28 I totally get this one. I totally get it. It's underwear. Sometimes you see something that people are outraged by and you're like, why are they outraged by that? Like, you know, you're reaching for something. This one I can get behind because when I saw it, I thought the same thing. Like, huh, you're naming your underwear off of a piece of garment that already exists. Yes.
Starting point is 00:30:46 And if there was some kind of reference. That's like me naming my shirts, like underwear. What? I just, I mean, not really because it's not, but you understand what I'm trying to say. There's just no correlation of that. It makes no sense. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And obviously she, because she had trademarked all those other things, I'm assuming she obviously wants to get into the world of clothes and fashion and the universal brand is going to be called kimono. Do you think that they're going to keep it that way? I don't know. It's interesting because it's not like, if there was any kind of nod to. to the fact that she is using this name and maybe show of respect somewhere. But it's truly just underwear. Like for this, at least for the shapewear, it's truly just like big body spanks, all of that.
Starting point is 00:31:40 You know, there's tons of people replying to Kim of pictures of either them in a kim or their family members or something, just, you know, what it stands for in Japanese. culture and how she should not be using it for the name of her spandex or whatever you want to call it. I don't really know what she does in this point going forward. And I don't think Kim Kardashian by any means meant to disrespect anybody at all. Yeah. But that's another thing. I don't think that she meant. I really think she was like, oh, my name fits in this. That's cute. Yeah. I thought she was like, oh, my name's Kim. I'm using kimono and didn't really think about it. But when you take a step back
Starting point is 00:32:18 and you actually think about it, then you have to be like, all right, what do I do now? Because I'm going to keep selling. this and people are just going to forget about it and then I'm going to have a brand kimono and then people are wearing kimonos and it gets confusing or am I going to change the name? I don't see her changing the name because they just put so much work and effort into branding this and she said she's been working on it for so long. And they're so cocky. And they are cocky.
Starting point is 00:32:41 It will be interesting to see what she says about the situation. If she says anything at all. Yeah, exactly. If she even addresses it because she might not. Yeah, she might not. But it's like, I don't know. It's tough because I feel like, just from watching the show and stuff like that, it seems like Kanye does have a respect and love for a lot of Japanese culture.
Starting point is 00:33:10 And, you know, I don't know if I would throw the Kardashians in that, but Kanye talks about it a lot. And so, you know, and they're twisted cut. Yeah, he did specifically in the David Letterman. And like their twisted, cocky brains, maybe they thought that this was like a symbol of respect, which it's just not really. Yeah, I don't think so. But, you know, it will be interesting to see what they say and what they do. Yeah, she could have named this literally anything else.
Starting point is 00:33:39 She could have just named it anything. I mean, KKW, Kim Kardashian, whatever. She already used that KKW. It's like just use, just do KKW fashion or whatever. And you can just have the label say KKW. say KKW. I don't know if maybe that wasn't catchy enough for them. It's literally on everything else she sells. Yeah, I don't know. I honestly don't think that they were being smart about this one, but we'll see. God damn, am I happy the Hills is back. Yeah, it was very much a intro episode.
Starting point is 00:34:08 A setup episode. Which was good because they needed it. They obviously have to new characters. They wanted to bring every characters. I guess they're kind of characters. New people. They wanted to show everybody, show what everybody's been up to. It's been a long time. time. I thought it was funny. It kind of sucks. For Jason? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:28 Thought Jason was supposed to be like a big cast member. Didn't even get an intro. He didn't get an intro. They didn't show any clips of them for the season. Yeah. And they've been on all the interviews. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:40 I thought that was weird. Didn't have one second in the first episode. Didn't have one second. They did put Brandon Lee and Misha Barton. A lot because they're new. Yeah. I mean, not a lot. I thought Brandon got a lot at a time.
Starting point is 00:34:51 Pam in his guy. They got his mom in there. Well, they got his mom in there, but I wanted to see more. Yeah, we'll get more. Don't worry. I was fascinated by Pam. Yeah, I mean, Pam, sieging the house and them sieging each other, mind of me my mom. My mom does that all the time. She's like, I got to get, like, step outside. I got to get the bad energy off of you. Yeah. And honestly, it feels very soothing. It's like, oh, great, Pam. And she moved to France. Right. That was wild. I was like, wow, I didn't know that. So many celebrities threatened to move out of the country after Trump was elected, nobody actually did. Brandon was like, yeah, my mom moved to France after
Starting point is 00:35:24 Trump got elected. Shout out to Pam for just doing it. She did it. She was just about it. She didn't talk about it. She just did it. And honestly, it felt really bad for Audrina. I feel like... I was crying during Ardrina's hearts.
Starting point is 00:35:42 Feel like she's been through a lot. Whitney seems super happy and living her life. Cuddy and Spencer seem happy and living their life. I actually felt bad for Heidi because it did seem like she was dealing with a lot of just like postpartum issues and being able to leave Gunner. And then Brody, we saw Brody and Caitlin. And the first interaction we see of them married life is Brody staying out too late, coming home
Starting point is 00:36:11 and the next morning and sleeping in his car and then the next morning calling his wife a nightmare. Yeah, I'll say, listen, I love Brody. We all know that. Yeah, we all, I mean, look, we both love Brody. We both love Brody. If my boyfriend called me a nightmare, we'd have a big, big problem. Yeah, I'd be, I'd be pissed.
Starting point is 00:36:30 Honestly, it was, it was kind of a tough first scene. Tough. It was kind of a tough first scene for the marriage. For the marriage. Not because you're just like, oh, we, you know, we didn't get any introduction to them being. No. We did get the beginning, which honestly, I was really happy they clarified this. Brody in the beginning, he said, I was dating, you know, my wife, Caitlin, for four years.
Starting point is 00:36:50 and then my dad decided to be a girl and then decided to be Caitlin. So now they're both Caitlin Jenner, which was the question I wanted to ask Brody, like what's that like having your mom, your dad and your wife having the same name, Caitlin Jenner, but I didn't ask. But he said it right away. Right away. So I feel like I almost should have asked. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:11 But he said it right away. So we answered the question for us. But then when they introduced there was no cute loving. We should have gotten that. It was right into like you came home too late. I was pissed. He slept in his car. She and you know, Brody just being like, hey, I'm a DJ.
Starting point is 00:37:32 I work in the club. Sometimes the party's just like too good to leave. Yeah, honestly, I saw a lot of tweets being like, damn, Brody didn't look good there, but he looked good there. You know, like he looked good. Yeah. But he didn't look good. I totally get that because I, yeah, I thought that was wild. I was like, wow, all right?
Starting point is 00:37:50 And it was funny because I know Spencer and Heidi have criticized Brody outside of the show saying like Brody and Caitlin aren't really showing their marriage or whatnot. And right off the bat they showed a clip of them fighting. So I feel like that's pretty. Right, right, right. After they said that I thought we were going to get some, you know, sugar-coded. We love each other so much. Everything's perfect story from the two of them. That's clearly not what happened.
Starting point is 00:38:19 Yeah, and we saw it coming attractions and, you know, they're fighting. They're fighting a lot. Coming attraction, Caitlin's like, you told her we had an open relationship. Yeah. It's like, ooh, okay. So this will be interesting. But I love seeing them back on my TV. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:32 I'm excited to see if Misha Barron opens up because it seems like her and Whitney are actually good friends. Her and Whitney, her and Stephanie are friends. So it'll be interesting to see if she opens up. And I love Brandon Lee. I think he's great. Yeah. And he's super hot. We all have to acknowledge that.
Starting point is 00:38:50 He's also more, he's also closer to our age now. So it's like back to the old hills, you know, where I mean, we didn't have that in the old hills because we were so young and we looked at these people like, wow, look at their lives. But now that we're around the age, it's cool to see his life in L.A. You know, I wish that they would have put at least maybe one more person around his age and a younger person. Because we do get to see Brandon's life and he is around our age. But then we see everybody else who is way older. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:21 You know, not way older. Not way older. Yeah, not way older. But 10 years. They're 10 years older and they have moved on with their lives. They're 10 years older than me. And they have moved on in their lives. I didn't mean to say way older.
Starting point is 00:39:34 I'm sorry. Yeah. I'm just saying that they're married and have kids now. A lot of them, yeah. Which is not close to white. Yeah. Not what I'm necessarily trying to watch at all times. So I do appreciate Brandon being on the show.
Starting point is 00:39:47 but I wish that they had at least like one more person, maybe one of his friends or something. Look, I'm sure they're, I'm sure they will still have great drama because when they're Spencer and Stephanie just problems happen. It's drama follows them everywhere they go. So, and Stephanie knows how to be a reality TV star. That's for sure.
Starting point is 00:40:12 That is definitely for sure. I have a lot of confidence that Stephanie will be able to stir shit up. And like we said, totally an intro episode. That was great. It ended with them, you know, having that. They're all showing up. I actually, and I really like the way the show was cut. Right.
Starting point is 00:40:31 They had all these slow motion moments for everybody. It was awesome. They're giving everybody these slow motion moments. The matching wine glasses for Stephanie and Heidi with the bath. With Spencer and Heidi? Yes, Spencer and Heidi. Was it Stephanie who was like in her closet picking out an outfit and it was like slow motion? I don't know if that was on dream.
Starting point is 00:40:47 or Stephanie. Heidi blowing bubbles. Yeah. Yeah. What about that? Getting into the bubble bath? The bubble bath was crazy. Slow motion.
Starting point is 00:40:57 Seductive. Brandon getting out of the Porsche slow-mo. Fantastic. Great shot. They all looked great coming out of the cars. They did. And so I guess next episode we will see this welcome home party that they are. That'll be fun.
Starting point is 00:41:10 See that Frankie's hosting for Stephanie. Yeah. And this is how we get the drama started. Yeah. And that's what I'm excited about. Because some people are friends still. Some aren't. Like Frankie close with Spencer, but still close with Stephanie.
Starting point is 00:41:23 But Frankie's always been friends with everybody. Can I say Frankie has done very well for himself. He does. I feel like Frankie was always kind of the butt of the joke when the original hells. Now he's a very successful guy. And now he has a beautiful wife and kids. And great family. Great family.
Starting point is 00:41:39 And still loves to party his ass off. Yeah. And that's great because him and his wife are doing it together. This is your time. This is time for you to shine. Yeah. And this is the moment you've been living for. My area of expertise.
Starting point is 00:43:08 However, it does make me really sad because I actually, you know, cried to one of my friends who is deep. You cried? No, I said credit to one of my friends. Oh, I said you, I think you said you cried to one of your friends about this. I said, okay, we have another problem on our hands then. Credit to one of my friends who pointed me in the right direction yesterday. She texted me like, I am in a deep rabbit hole of Jonas Stans and Demi Stans fighting on Twitter.
Starting point is 00:43:34 So, of course, then I fell down that rabbit hole. Shit is crazy. Let's take it from the top. Demi, okay, so obviously. Take it back from when they're. feud and when they stop. Give a little background of their relationship for the people who don't know exactly.
Starting point is 00:43:52 Demi Levato and the Jones mother is obviously super close. Camp Rock, Demi and Nick toured together, the Demi and Joe relationship that people think is real or not real. That's their own opinion. What do you think? I was a big, big
Starting point is 00:44:08 Gemmy fan. Massive Jimmy fan. I thought they were definitely a real no, there's a lot of people said that it was a fake thing. I always thought they were too. And I, I mean, I love the two of them together. However, they, you know, so their relationship has gone for a very long time. Demi was under the same management, Philly Mac.
Starting point is 00:44:29 They were all, like their music, their business, their lives were so intertwined. In Demi's documentary, they spoke, you know, Philly Mac spoke about reaching the point of kind of no return with her. and her her drug abuse and addiction and all those things that she was dealing with that they talk about in Demi's documentary that, you know, whatever came out, what, two years ago?
Starting point is 00:44:58 Yeah, October, 2017 came out. So things have been, rock. I don't know if I want to say rocky, but there's just, no one really knows what went on because they seem to have had somewhat of a falling out, I would say, probably. The Jonas Brothers don't really seem in touch with her.
Starting point is 00:45:21 Like we said, in the chasing happiness documentary, there was no sign of Demi at all, which was obviously, I mean, obviously when they were filming this, Demi was not available, but Demi played such a huge role in their rise and their career, but was not really talked about. At all, which was shocking to me. Yeah, it was bizarre to me also. And we know that Demi signed with Scooter Braun.
Starting point is 00:45:48 So she's, you know, no longer under the same management as them. They seem to have really gone their separate ways. And then shit really hit the fan because everyone, you know, everybody has to look into everything that's posted, right? So yesterday Demi posted on her Instagram story. You know what's great about making an album? You get to say anything you want, be as open and honest as possible. And finally tell your side of the story.
Starting point is 00:46:14 regardless of whom I not like it. The Demi stands. I would like to clarify, I am a super fan, but the stand life, crazy. Like the dedicated Twitter accounts and fighting with other people. My question is, when do you say to yourself?
Starting point is 00:46:36 I don't actually know these people. Yes, but also, I'm going to fully commit to this. I'm going to make a Twitter with Demi Levato's picture. I'm going to make her up my handle Demi X, 1, 2, 3, I, L-Y, and then post every day about Demi Lvado. Like, what goes through your brain that at some point you're like, I'm going to do this? Why? Why? You have no, people were, I think it's just like a really fun.
Starting point is 00:47:02 Yeah, I don't know. And maybe it's the Demi, maybe, I don't know. Obviously, I'm more of a Jonas fan. And I actually follow a lot of Jonas fan accounts that I think are great. but because I'm a fan. It's an undertaking to do those kinds of things. That's what I'm thinking. It's an undertaking to be like,
Starting point is 00:47:20 I'm going to post about this human being every single day and stalk their lives so I could post something every single day. Isn't their goal to get noticed by the person? Oh, yeah. They want to get noticed by the actual fan. Thank you for that. I feel like that was a good answer that maybe was. Wait, what?
Starting point is 00:47:36 I said thank you for that answer. I said that was a good answer because I was forgetting that. Because when people do it, they're like they read it in their description. Like tag by whoever. Yes, yes. Like Joe liked this post on 619, like whatever. Right. Stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:47:50 And they might repost their pictures and great point, Noah, that I almost forgot to mention. You think that the celebrity sees your post. Okay, so Demi post that on her Instagram. She also reposted a tweets, I guess, Tumblr, who knows what it's from. That says, an honest enemy is. better than a false friend. When in doubt, pay more attention to what people do and less to what they say. Actions not only speak louder than words, they are more difficult to fake.
Starting point is 00:48:22 So Demi fans really pulled on to this. Demi was also active on Instagram. She was liking some things, commenting on some things, apparently. I, I personally could not go back to these accounts and find them because they were like, oh, Demi liked it and unliked it. There are screenshots of it. So I'm going to go with this happened. And the comments that I do you think that it's Photoshop maybe?
Starting point is 00:48:46 I don't know. It's like why would you Photoshop that? You want the Jonas Brothers and the Demi and Demi to hate each other that much? Well, I've seen people Photoshop a lot of like Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber shit. Yeah, I feel like that's very different though. Yeah, maybe. Just because that's like more of a relationship. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:49:04 This would be very out of nowhere for them to just Photoshop something. And the cryptic Instagram stories, I feel like. is a sign that she was obvious, she's feeling some type of way, she's recording her new music. So these are what I saw on Twitter. They said that she liked a picture that was Wilmer Valdrama,
Starting point is 00:49:26 Demi's ex-boyfriend, hanging out in Paris with his new girlfriend. He's with Joe Jonas and Sophie, Nick Priyanka. And the person wrote on the picture, Wilmer with new girlfriend, Nick and Joe Jonas, the vomit emoji. Yes, Demi, stay away from these fake people. So they're saying that she liked that post. And then they're saying that she liked a post
Starting point is 00:49:45 of Wilmer and his new girlfriend, uh, that the fan account wrote on saying Wilmer took his new girlfriend for a trip with the Jonas is so fake. The Jonas's aren't good friends for Demi and he should stay away from people who make Demi feel bad, except that's the truth. If Wilmer is a true friend of Demi, he should stay away from the Jonas's. He takes the new girlfriend and is like, let's make new memories without Demi. It's also very poor English. I'm assuming whoever runs this fan account English is not their first language. That's fine. Demi
Starting point is 00:50:16 apparently liked that also. Just adding fuel to the fire here. There was an Instagram that said it was a meme or not a meme. It was a Instagram of a tweet that said drop that memoir straight after the album because we need names. And they are saying that she commented on it
Starting point is 00:50:33 oh, you'll know exactly who they are. You'll know exactly, you know, don't worry, you'll know exactly who the names are. Do you think she's just going to straight up say the Jonas Brothers? Or she's going to say brothers. She's going to say something. I have no idea, but I... I don't know, but it's wild.
Starting point is 00:50:49 And then it's... It is kind of wild of the Jonas Brothers to be hanging out with Wilder and his new girlfriend. Yeah, they've always been friends with Wilmer, though. Joe and Wilmer are good friend. You said, Wilder, I meant Wilmer. Joe and Wilmer have always been very close. Joe Wilmer have always been good friends. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:51:07 I had no idea. I thought that they were just hanging out with Wilmer out of no friends. That makes a lot of sense. Can you read a Nick's tweet from 4 a.m. Because this is, this was bullshit to me. I think they're still in Paris. So this was 9.37 p.m. our time. So I'm like, okay, it was super late in Paris.
Starting point is 00:51:23 Happiness is, and he posted a screenshot of the tweet on his Instagram story also. Happiness is invaluable. Cherish it. I hope everyone in their own walk of life can find true happiness. It is the best. Truly the best. Love you all. Thank you for making me and my family smile always.
Starting point is 00:51:37 Now, all the replies. that tweet were Demi accounts sending snake emojis. Just tons of snake emojis. Yeah, I mean, that's the stands. When they get on Instagram and Twitter, all they do is snake emojis.
Starting point is 00:51:56 If you piss somebody off, they're just going to put snake emojis. So many snake emojis. And so I just, I went, I was deep into these fan accounts, fighting with each other, basically saying like, well, how is Demi supposed to feel? They all dropped her when she needed them the most and the Jonas Brothers fans being like,
Starting point is 00:52:17 well, how long were they supposed to wait for her to figure it out they're happy in their own lives? They have to live their own lives. They can't, whatever. It was going on for a long time. So many tweets. And it's tough for me. I love them both so much.
Starting point is 00:52:32 Yeah. Now, how do you feel? I'm sad. But you love the Jonas Brothers, obviously, a lot more. We know that. you spent $600 on there. Yeah, thank you for reminding everybody about that. We totally needed to throw that in.
Starting point is 00:52:44 I had to throw that in to show your dedication to the Jonas Brothers. Have you spent $600 on Demi Lovato at all? No, but I did go to the Demi Lovato Nick Jonas tour. Well, Nick Jonas was there. That's why you went. Well, it was go for Nick Jonas, leave for Demi Lovato kind of situation. Demi puts on one of the best. Stay for Demi?
Starting point is 00:53:03 Stay for Demi. Stay for Demi. Leave for Demi. Leave for Demi. See that in the back of her head, she's like, Ooh, I don't like Demi. No, no, no, no. Demi live is absolutely unreal.
Starting point is 00:53:17 She's an unreal singer. She is so talented and live. She is absolutely fantastic. So it's sad to see them fighting because I think they both have pretty valid points. Demi's been through a lot. They have been some of her longest friends. And they are just out, it seems. Like, you know, they're just out.
Starting point is 00:53:39 That's it. But I also see it from the Jones Brothers side of they've been dealing with this and Demi for their almost their entire lives. It's like been a really long time or at least their entire time being famous. Right. And I feel like there probably was a lot of, a lot of issues that we don't know about. And of course, Demi Levato. So much behind the scenes.
Starting point is 00:53:59 This is how I feel about this. In Demi Levato's, I've seen both of their documentaries a few times. In Demi Lovato's documentary, she's. talks about when she was partying back at the hotel with the Jonas Brothers and they were on the tour and they
Starting point is 00:54:17 the Jonas Brothers dad got Demi Lovato in trouble for doing drugs and partying and whatnot. So I feel like there might have been stuff with maybe the family as well because you know the Jonas Jonas Bellers dad was and mom
Starting point is 00:54:34 are always and have always been a big part of their lives. So I I feel like maybe there was problems with Demi and them because she did say that she got very mad at their dad. Right. You know, so I think that that's just a little snippet. You know, I'm sure there were endless other problems. That was just like a little bit of what I remember Demi Lovato talking about in her documentary when it had to do with the Jonas Brothers. But when it comes to the Jonas brothers and their relationship with Demi, it sucks because if you feel like you're around a toxic person and you feel like what's going around is toxic and you don't want to be near that.
Starting point is 00:55:07 It can leak into your own life. It will go into your own life. life and you don't want to put that. I'm sure it may be affected their relationships. That's what I'm saying. It didn't, you know, they don't want that in their life and they stepped away from it. But at the same time, I do hope that they reach out to Demi when she was going through a hard time and overdosed and she almost died last year. So in my opinion, I think it would be fucked up for them to, you know, we have absolutely no idea. We don't know these people's lives. Exactly. It would be fucked up if they didn't reach out, but we have no idea if they did or did not reach out. So we don't know why Demi Lovato is mad at them. We don't know why they don't like Demi Lovato. We don't know why they don't like Demi. me, although I could kind of grasp more like why the Jonas brothers probably stepped away, and I can understand why Demi Lovato would be mad at them for stepping away. Because your friend is your friend. And when they're going through a hard time, you should be there for them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:56 But then there's the other side of it where, you know, sometimes you have to cut toxic people out of your life if they're damaging it. So we don't know the full story. We don't. We really don't. And, oh, there was one more. thing that I didn't include in the comments that she had said, there was an Instagram of a tweet that from paper magazine that said, do you think Joe Jonas had to undergo physical therapy after the stress of carrying Camp Rock on his back? And somebody retweeted it saying Demi Lovato says
Starting point is 00:56:25 hi. And then Demi commented on the Instagram. It makes so, it may, so hard to explain when it's tweets of an Instagram. It makes no sense what I'm saying out loud. Like it's an Instagram of a retweet. Yes. You know what I'm saying? And the retweet said Demi Lovato says hi of the paper magazine tweet, where Demi just commented, oh, word? I don't know what they're all laughing at it.
Starting point is 00:56:52 I have no idea. Is it just, is it, you can hear it. Well, we were laughing at how, like, ridiculous it is. But then I also just started laughing because it looks like you're, like, popping bottles in the radio room. She's righting a nice pelegrina. Leave her alone. It's a sparkling water.
Starting point is 00:57:06 I just saw a Noah snap a picture, and I was like, what, because I, I have this huge bottle in my hand. I guess it does look kind of funny. It's kind of a big bottle. It is a big bottle. Back to what you were saying, Fran. She said a word about somebody saying Joe Jonas carried camp rock. She's clearly, or maybe, if these are all real, feeling some type of way.
Starting point is 00:57:29 And I, at this point, just hope that it all comes out in whatever music she's currently writing. Yeah, I'm excited for her new music. That's for sure. I love Demi Lovato's voice. I've talked about this before. I had a laptop when I was younger filled with videos of me singing Demi Lovato songs very seriously into the camera.
Starting point is 00:57:47 To this day, I wish that my laptop never died. Yeah. Because these videos would be great to release now. I would love to see those. I picture it. I was wearing a yellow Hollister shirt. I know exactly. My hair was straightened just like this.
Starting point is 00:58:03 I had a lot of blush on. A lot of blush on. I loved blush when I was going. younger. And I was like, did you forget? Oh, no. Very seriously into my camera and honestly, it was kind of good. Like, I was a better singer back in the day. No, I was a better singer back in the day because in fourth grade, when I auditioned for my school play The Jungle Book, I sang, some will come out tomorrow and I got cast as King Louis. Now say what you will. A very progressive school that I played King Louis by the way. Are we putting King Louis in like
Starting point is 00:58:35 a star role category? I mean, Fran, I had a solo. song. Yeah. It's not a star role. It's not like the biggest role, but it is more than what the other other people got. True. I beat out a lot of people for that role. Okay.
Starting point is 00:58:50 All right. We're good. No, we're good. We're good. We're good. We're good. I've reached the top and had to stop and that's what's bothering me. I want to be a man.
Starting point is 00:59:00 Maybe you got cast this character because the song's really just talking. Well, no. Maybe they were like, yo, this girl's got a manly voice. She's got a manly voice. She'll play King Louis. That's probably what it was. I had a pretty, you know, you have a raspy voice. I had a very raspy voice on top of my deep voice.
Starting point is 00:59:24 See what I'm saying? It's really just talking. Talking with my son. Yeah, if I had just heard of Rea's version, I'd think it's like a real song. but when you hear this, it's like talking. Talk like you. Like it's... Okay, either way.
Starting point is 00:59:43 Either way, they gave me the role of King Louis over many others. And I mean like, only like 30 because that's all we ever had. I was going to say you definitely went to a small school, but I wasn't going to bring it up unless you did. No, I did. All right. Well, I'm just going to say my last thought here.
Starting point is 01:00:01 Last thoughts because we have to talk about the Hill's premiere. Okay. My last thought was this. if Demi puts out multiple or even just one song that trashes the Jonas Brothers, I'm going to have a problem. Do I listen to the song? Do I support the song?
Starting point is 01:00:18 But what if... What if I like the song? I was going to say, what if she brings up a valid point about the Jonas Brothers? That's what I'm saying? What if she reveals that Nick and Priyanka's marriage is fake? Well, I would be okay with that. All right, that's the perfect way to end this.
Starting point is 01:00:32 But I feel like that's probably not the direction she's going in. Nope. We'll just see what happens. All right, we are back with another edition of Dix in the Office two weeks in a row. I can't believe it. I'm shocked, Fran. How about you? Feel spoiled.
Starting point is 01:00:45 I don't want to get too used to this because I feel like next week. Oh, well, yeah, next week. Well, we're not here next week. We're not here. So, yeah, I don't want to get used to it. But it's nice to have you guys back. Thank you so much. We're excited to be here.
Starting point is 01:00:55 We actually tried to take it even a step further and hold up our side of the contract that we signed and take Noah out for lunch today. Noah declined, though. So that's not on us. I didn't decline. I didn't decline. Noah. I got to say,
Starting point is 01:01:07 we told Noah to just go. This is like the first day I had lunch in so long, and I just happened to forget. Caleb walked by, and I said up, like, my bad, basically. And you know what I said? Doesn't sound sincere. You're right.
Starting point is 01:01:19 You're right, Noah. It is your bad, and it's not something I'm sure. But they also, it was 1.30. That's kind of a late lunch. Is it? I mean, kind of, yeah. Dude, 12 to 2 are lunch hours. I went to 10.
Starting point is 01:01:31 And I went at 12. You go right at 12? Do you eat breakfast? I didn't, like, plan it out. Are you intermittent fasting, dude? It sounds like you were trying to avoid us on purpose, and it sounds like you don't want to hang out with me and Rome. That's not true.
Starting point is 01:01:41 We'll go next week. Why? Oh, we won't go next week. No, it has an erratic eating schedule. Is it, maybe it's an anxiety thing. Oh, it's definitely an anxiety. Like, I went to five guys today, and I just knew it was going to ruin my day. I knew it was just going to fuck everything up, but I was like, I need to indulge,
Starting point is 01:01:56 and I just did it alone in the five guys because I didn't want to be, you know, I don't want to be making a display of how disgusting what I was eating was. Wait. you ate five guys because you didn't want other people to see Because I wasn't trying to trudge in with a fucking grease bag Five guys is specifically disgusting In bags for five guys
Starting point is 01:02:15 Let me tell you there's guys in the office Who bring that in every single day And I Every single I have brought it in as well I mean that's that's I'm not judging anybody Roan our side of the office
Starting point is 01:02:27 Like in public places Which I'm jealous of What that I'm comfortable eating? Or just being by yourself Yeah Because I've seen you like talk about like going to bars by yourself and just sitting it's great i enjoy it it's like a nice it's like a nice place to unplug five guys it's honestly it's i respect you for being able to sit there but sometimes
Starting point is 01:02:45 when i'm alone somewhere i'm like people are thinking it's weird that i'm alone and then i'm like to sit outside alone places yeah yeah that's nice in the city or just not just in the city anywhere if i am by myself it's it's it's nice i see what you're talking about but ron where we sit our area everybody is eating gross shit all day long. Yeah, I know, and it's like... Taco Bell, McDonald's. I'm comfortable with it, but I just don't want to... Who's eating Taco Bell?
Starting point is 01:03:12 You're a closet eater. Mush? Big Ev. They have Taco Bell like three times a week. Caleb's face right now is he's just like... Because Caleb's the cleanest eater in the entire world. Like, so much Taco Bell. He doesn't touch carbs.
Starting point is 01:03:27 He doesn't eat fried fast food at all. Taco Bell, I love Taco Bell. We all love Taco Bell If you're going to choose a brand like that to eat It should be Taco Bell Exactly Now are you going to have to make an express Expedited trip to the toilet
Starting point is 01:03:44 Yeah you are Yeah you are That's her Taco Bell Yeah that's tough But it can also just make you feel sluggish During the daytime having some fast food at lunch That's why I just didn't want to I wasn't trying to put it into the
Starting point is 01:03:55 That's what I was talking about like How can you eat that for lunch And then proceed with the rest of your day And do anything Well where did you want to eat today I wanted to be like Caleb. I wanted to eat green leaves and shards of grass and stuff that Caleb eats sprigs and twigs. No, I'll get a salad.
Starting point is 01:04:13 I've gone to sweet green before with Caleb. Do you eat salads? Yeah, I'll have a salad. What do you eat for lunch? He seems pretty confident because the other day I tried. It has the chicken or something in it. I want to say the other day I tried to buy Noah lunch. Well, that's more of a like, don't buy me lunch thing.
Starting point is 01:04:28 No, but I don't want to eat things. But he was having him and Snapchat, Steve, we're having. a very stressful day. Oh yeah. It was our fault. Yeah. And I said, let me buy you guys lunch
Starting point is 01:04:36 because my morale is great and I feel bad that your morale is low. So let me just, what do you guys want for lunch? Anything. And they were like, no,
Starting point is 01:04:43 we don't eat lunch. Wow, that's not sexist of them. They won't just let a powerful woman just buy the lunch. It's like I earn my own money. I can buy lunch if I want to. Like, if I want lunch,
Starting point is 01:04:53 I'll get lunch. I don't need you to buy me lunch. Can we go back to what you have for lunch today? Yeah. Why are you dodging the question? Yeah. What did you eat for lunch today? I had a BLT from the deli next door.
Starting point is 01:05:03 Okay. That's like very little food I can kind of eat almost all of it. Do you have a child stomach? What do you mean? I used to suffer from child's stomach. What do you just have like the stomach of a child? I have that sometimes. My parents say I eat like a squirrel.
Starting point is 01:05:17 Yeah, just don't eat a bunch. Just kind of picket things. I feel like it's like work to expand your stomach. But how? Caleb, you're a thin guy, but you could just crush a ton of food. You just like, we'll eat two steaks. If you don't eat Taco Bell, then you can eat more. I don't eat Taco Bell
Starting point is 01:05:33 Yes, you do What? Everybody eats Taco Bell I don't eat Taco Bell I mean having like Taco Bell Once a month I don't eat it I'm gonna be honest
Starting point is 01:05:42 You can hit me all you want But I'm not gonna lie about eating Taco Bell It's great People love it I personally don't eat Taco Bell Fine let's move on All right let's move on Two weeks from now
Starting point is 01:05:55 I'll come find you Yeah fucking right dude Dude excuse my language But I don't believe you But you You guys had some news to break to us? Yes. Yeah, we want to talk about...
Starting point is 01:06:05 We brought something to send across our desk, which I'm excited for. We want to talk about the YouTube world. And we want to talk about Jake Paul and Tanamojo. Getting engaged in Vegas on her 21st birthday. And now apparently they're getting married this week. Okay, so I'm of one of the more uninformed ilk about parts of the YouTube world in that I don't know a lot about Tanamo. So could I maybe, or maybe for some people who are listening who are in the same boat as me,
Starting point is 01:06:35 maybe we could all get a refresher course on who she is? Okay. Go ahead, Rio. Tanamojo is just, to put it plain and simple, a YouTuber. Yeah. She got her start on YouTube. She dated Bello Thorn. Very loud, brash.
Starting point is 01:06:49 Yes. Big personality. Very big personality. She made, I feel like she was very popular on YouTube, but dating Bella Thorne. Yeah. I'm going to say boosterer, made her more mainstream. made her more attention. Also, she hosted a TanaCon,
Starting point is 01:07:03 which was a convention for her friends that was an absolute disaster. Kind of like Fire Fest. So that went viral because of how bad it poorly planned and executed it was. And now she has a reality show on MTV called Tanna Turns 21. Wow.
Starting point is 01:07:18 And so part of this reality show includes her getting engaged to... Well, that's... We don't know. That's what we were saying. It has to be. Caleb, you're the more informed on us in the YouTube world.
Starting point is 01:07:28 Do you study game tape and you kind of have been scouting out these people at least a little bit. That's what it seems like. But you recently started dating. Dating, I'm going to put in air quotes, Jake Paul. Hmm. Yeah, interesting. The thing about Jake Paul is that he's like,
Starting point is 01:07:43 I feel like he's like the most famous YouTuber. He's like a lot of people's access point into YouTube. Yes. Even if you don't want it to be, it's like that's the face of YouTubers for some reason. Once you get into that world, it's kind of weird. A lot of them are freaking corny dude, but there's a,
Starting point is 01:07:59 couple that are really good content creators that are not, I would say, named TAN. Tana. Tano. Tano. But from a business perspective, it seems like aligning yourself with the face of YouTube. If you want to be a YouTuber, this is a good company to keep. Yeah, well, they're both extremely successful. They're both huge.
Starting point is 01:08:19 The money these people make, like, they're getting to the money in the most direct route. Yeah. Like, they're taking, like, a helicopter. and they're scouting out the location. It's a straight shot. Yeah, they're not driving to the airport to get to the money. No, yeah, they're getting right to the money.
Starting point is 01:08:36 Like they have, they, I would say a YouTubers make like, like those level, I'm saying they're making probably anywhere between 10 to 25 million a year. I just don't get how you get to that level. Tana has doing YouTube videos every single day. Tana has 4.5 million subscribers. She has 4 million followers on Instagram. I mean, Jake Paul, his number is, insane.
Starting point is 01:09:00 19,000 subscribers. 19,000, 19 million subscribers. I was going to say 19,000, 10 million subscribers. The craziest part to me about the YouTuber phenomenon is I feel like it's still in the future. Like I feel like it's still something that hasn't hit
Starting point is 01:09:19 all the way yet. It's still like, if you talk to mainstream people who are consuming mainstream media, YouTubers are still like forward facing. They haven't had their day in the sun. yet, in my opinion. And they're the ones, they're making more than these people in Hollywood, the actors and actresses. Unless you are Leonardo DiCaprio, you are an A-List star starring in the top Paramount
Starting point is 01:09:41 production. Jake Paul's making more money than you are. Right. Yeah. It is crazy. It is crazy. Jake Paul apparently dropped over $120,000 on a G-Wagon for Tanna. They were in Vegas clubs.
Starting point is 01:09:56 She has a rock of an engagement ring. whatever she's wearing, that thing is massive. It costs a lot. Really? Yeah. It must. I don't know how much, but I know it costs a lot. I'm guessing it costs a lot.
Starting point is 01:10:06 It's just a very big thing. What kind of name is, have you guys heard of a Tana before? Is this the first Tana you've ever heard of? It was my first Tana. I feel like I've seen Tana before. But not really. Like Tanner. No, just like on Twitter.
Starting point is 01:10:18 You know, somebody's named Tana, but not ever in real life. Tanya. It's like a Hannah with a T. It's like a Hannah with a T or Tanner without the R. Or Montana without the M. It could be like a Montana, like Hannah Montana, Tana. Yeah. Maybe something like that.
Starting point is 01:10:34 Which is Hannah Montana. There's a name that's not real. It's so wild to me because these people live, we're supposed to believe it's their real life, but it's all fake. Like, it's all fake. It has to be. But here's a deal. And you should know some of this by working in this job. Even though it's fake, it is their real life.
Starting point is 01:10:54 Their whole life is fake. So by definition, it is real. Like, my whole life isn't fake. You're no, I'm not saying you are, but you should understand to some extent by working here. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But they do it to such a level that even though everything they do is fake, that's their life. Therefore, everything they do is real. But we don't fake things.
Starting point is 01:11:12 I'm not like, oh, I'm fake dating. No, I was just talking about like sticks and stuff that people, you know. Yeah, they're like always on. Yeah, always on. And I also don't make videos about your relationships. And I think that they do a lot. So that will naturally cloud their judgment about their relationship. It's like, is this.
Starting point is 01:11:28 good for content or is this good for my relationship? And I think that that's probably a place where it starts to get murky. Like, are you doing this for yourself? Are you doing this for your viewers? Is it good for content? Is it good for content? Is their first question? Oh, it's for the viewers. It's for the viewers.
Starting point is 01:11:44 Do you think that they know that? Or do you think that there's part of their mind where they're like, you know what? I'm doing the right thing. I'm really genuinely doing this for myself or my partner. Jake Paul has said my life is like the WWE. he dated another YouTube girl Erica Kestel and after they broke up he was like that was all fake my life's like the WWE right like that entire relationship was fake
Starting point is 01:12:07 when we asked him in the office he said the same thing he was like I mean yeah I hear rumors that he and Tana like don't even they're not even close to dating like they don't actually hook up they don't actually do what let you think it's some level of like since he does proceed with his life like it's the WWE and she does to the same extent that it was almost like they didn't meet in a room and say, all right, do we see what we're going to do? And they orchestrate this elaborate plan.
Starting point is 01:12:35 It's almost like they're just on the same wavelength of energy. And so they actually probably do hit it off, but not in the same way you would hit it off or we would hit it off with. Or like proposed to somebody. Right. But they're probably like, they're riding this crazy wave where everything they do goes viral and everything. It's like there's no final decision.
Starting point is 01:12:53 They know they can get out of anything they do. So it's like, sure, let's get married. I don't care. Let's just get married. It's also when I divorce will also get clicks. Because it's like when you see the headlines, like Jake Paul's video, I married Tanna in Vegas. And then two weeks later, I divorced Tanna in Vegas. Yeah, it'll definitely play.
Starting point is 01:13:10 It'll definitely be. They're getting in so many views. The breakup will be bigger than the, the aggregation. We talked about this. David Dobrick, for like a prank, married his best friend's mom. Yeah. David D'Obrick is the best content crew. He's very funny.
Starting point is 01:13:23 I think he is very funny. But he really married. one of his best friend's mom, a real life marriage. And then real life got it an old just to, like kind of just as a prank because his friend told him that he would never have any ex-wives because nobody would ever marry him. And he was like, oh, you wait and see. Then he married his mom and divorced his mom. It's fake, but it's real.
Starting point is 01:13:46 It's all real. The cool thing is that they live in a world where the higher stakes it is, is the better for them because it's more views. But if you put yourself in a high-stakes situation, you can go left or go. go right with it, whether that's stay married or divorce. And there's always a more high stakes way for you to get more views. You just got to keep raising the stakes. The question is, what happens whenever they do divorce and then like that route's played out? He can't continue to do that. Then how do you raise the stakes from these crazy levels? Start dating somebody else. Yeah, you break up. There you go.
Starting point is 01:14:18 Boom. That's the last video. What's the, what's the, do you guys think these people actually have a personal life? Like, are there times that they are all? Like what is real life to them? Like is there anything that's actually real? Is there a time that they're off when they're just really themselves and not just trying to get clicks or create content? We saw Jake Paul in the office and he was two different people. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:44 From when I saw him sitting around just being like sitting there chilling. And then from when the camera was in front of his face. And he started yelling in the camera. But like take the person in this office who's like the most on camera. I would say that's probably Dave like just. historically he's been on camera for the most amount of time. But like I feel like Dave is like, would you say that he's very different than he is on camera than off camera? No.
Starting point is 01:15:07 No, but Dave's an interesting situation because he's always been like that. But like we said, PFT. Like PFT plays a character sometimes. But then he has like a real life. Yeah, like we talk to PFT and he talks. Has real life and real relationships outside of the stick that he does. I think J Paul is way more like Dave than PFT. I think that he's way more of that type of personality.
Starting point is 01:15:30 Probably. Probably. Because if you, also, if you're doing it for so long, you just become the person. Yeah. What's tough when you're just chasing this storyline and having a bigger storyline and more clicks and having it so ingrained in your life is that your brain starts getting like a dopamine rush every time you get one of these. And then eventually you're like literally addicted to the story of your life.
Starting point is 01:15:53 And so eventually you'll get to a point where you like can't, you can't. you can't best your last moment and so you'll be like in withdrawal from like these relationships that you need or like these storylines that you need as you're like living your life out live on YouTube I think people's lives are going to get seriously fucked up if this is the only way that they chase relationships
Starting point is 01:16:14 which is it'll be interesting to watch interesting. It's really all for it which is crazy because like you said it'll be interesting to watch because it's all just a big entertainment factor. I would love to see Jake Paul and any of these guys just do all this. Just do every single thing in the book until you're like 29.
Starting point is 01:16:35 And when you're 29, take that pile of money that you have that you can pay for the rest of your life with and then just go live an awesome life. And don't tweet. Don't be on Instagram. Don't do one more YouTube. I feel like that's the dream. They would have to go into rehab to do that, though. It's literally like a compulsion or like an addiction.
Starting point is 01:16:52 I would love to see that though. That would be winning. That would be winning the game. Yeah, that would be nice. to be able to escape. I feel like that's the dream. Just make a lot of money, then go move to the Bahamas.
Starting point is 01:17:02 Right. And then don't have social media. Because that does, that is the determinant of what Roan's talking about. What kind of what I was trying to say earlier is that if you do get to that point where you have enough money for the rest of your life, you can take care of your family. You can even take care of your kids. If you have them.
Starting point is 01:17:16 And then you still need like the attention of going through a messy relationship. Then that means you fucked. All right. Well, thanks guys. Thank you guys. This has been great. And I hopefully will see you again soon. Not next week, but.

That's kiwiko.com slash chicks. We had to bring Trent on for this week's Bachelorette. Welcome, Trent. I love this show so much, despite what goes on in the show, because what happens on the show is often infuriating. But I just love it.
Starting point is 01:19:02 I love the show more than any other show on TV. I can't sit here and tell you guys that I love this show so much. I would be lying through my teeth if I sat down and said, you know what, I love this show too. Because Trent, I love this show too. I mean, I love it. I love it sometimes. It has its moments where I love it.
Starting point is 01:19:22 It's truly one of the few things in life that I love unconditionally. Really? Yes, because I... It's always there. It doesn't matter what season it is. Who's the bachelor? Before this season, I was furious that Hannah was going to be the Bachelorette. And I still watch it every single week.
Starting point is 01:19:38 Even when I travel, I make sure that I have a way to watch it or read about it afterwards so I don't fall behind. So it's maybe the only show like that. Even Game of Thrones, the last season, I hated it. I couldn't stand it. And I guess I kept watching it. But I don't. I didn't love Game of Thrones unconditionally the way I love The Bachelor and the Bachelorette unconditionally.
Starting point is 01:19:57 It's just a show that I love watching. It's a car wreck every single time, but I get to tweet about it and tons of people watch it and you just have a good time with it. You know what, Trent, that's why you're here today. That's why we bring you into these things because that positive energy that you are giving off right now makes me almost feel like I love the show unconditionally as well. Yeah. You just got to find the thing that you also love unconditionally. The show that you love unconditionally. Is there one?
Starting point is 01:20:20 The Hills. It came back last night. I love that show unconditionally. one episode in. I don't think you can tell. No, but I loved that show unconditionally. And now it's back. And the episode was like kind of boring and I still loved it.
Starting point is 01:20:29 People who don't have a trash reality show that they love, regardless of what actually happens on the show, those people are missing out. I used to get tweets all the time. Sometimes I still do. People like, how can you watch this stuff? The stuff that they do, the things maybe they did last night were for ratings. I don't zoom out that far on it. I just want to watch something that's horrible.
Starting point is 01:20:47 And if it gets ratings, whatever. But I'm just there for how bad it is. And I just love it. Yeah. I mean, I love deal or no deal. I feel like that's kind of unconditional love. Definitely. The love I have for deal or no deal.
Starting point is 01:20:57 Definitely. And Fran, I would say that you definitely have unconditional love for The Bachelor and many other shows. I certainly. Many other shows as well. I certainly do. I love television. What can I say? But I feel like there's a lot to unpack from last night's episodes.
Starting point is 01:21:11 So let's jump right into it. Yep. They are in Riga, Latvia. This threw me off completely. I have to say, I'd want to throw this in before we get into the whole recap. You know how Hank and Clem went together? Hank was at the gym for the first part of The Bachelorette and he wasn't watching it and he came back and was towards the end. I mean, there's probably some listening who might not know.
Starting point is 01:21:34 Explain why Hank went to Lovia. Hank went to Lovia with Clem for Brzeingas. Correct. That's the shortest way I could put that story. Nailed it. So they went to Lovia and then it was towards the end of the Bachelorette when Hank came back and he was like, oh, what's going on? And I was like, well, they're in Lovia. And he was like, fuck, I miss so many good tweets. He's like, I could have gotten so many tweets off.
Starting point is 01:21:55 So many. I really could have. I almost thought about making jokes too, but I was like, oh, this is my field. He missed out. Even Kelly Keeks was making Porzenghis jokes last night. Yeah, it is one of the few instances where Hank, something like Hank could relate to something on the show. Yeah. And he's one of the few people, him and Clem, who have ever been to Latvia.
Starting point is 01:22:12 I just don't know anybody else who's been to Latvia. Exactly. Is Riga the main city in Latvia? I have no idea. Who knows? I wouldn't guess. How dare you ask us out like we know anything about Latvia? I have no idea.
Starting point is 01:22:22 I'm just assuming that since that's what they decided to feature. Yeah, I have no idea, but I know that Hank could have gotten some good tweets off and missed out. He just didn't do it. He usually is stuck watching a lot of it because of me, but missed out. He did. So, right, they're in Lafayette. It looks very cold. The weather looks awful.
Starting point is 01:22:43 I don't know why they picked Lafia, but I'm assuming the hotels and whatnot probably paid ABC a lot of money to be featured. Yeah, I don't want to say anything bad about Latvia. I'm sure it's a beautiful country. I just feel like they could have went anywhere else. Like, I just feel like they could have went literally anywhere else. Literally anywhere else in the world would have been good. Is that how they pick where they're going? Do places pay them as like a tourist attraction type deal?
Starting point is 01:23:08 That's a great idea. Because it's like, think about when they walk into every hotel they go into, they showcase the sign and they always do like a hotel room tour. It is always, people are just jacked up about couches and beds. Yeah, it's crazy. I've read something. one time about, I guess one hotel that was featured in kind of a random location that maybe it was winter games or something.
Starting point is 01:23:30 And the amount of reservations they got after the show aired was like astronomical. Interesting. So people do really look at that stuff. Garrett got the first 101 date. Luke was like he was going to come back without a rose, which did not happen. They show up to this ravine, river bridge. Looks like a river. People fall out naked.
Starting point is 01:23:55 They're in a cable car. They fall out naked. They're butt-ass naked. Naked bungee jumping. Garrett and Hannah agree to go naked bungee jumping. I'd just say it looked like a blast. It looked like a blast. For Hannah.
Starting point is 01:24:08 Right, for Hannah. For Garrett, as speaking for the guy there, I don't want to go anywhere. I don't want to be naked anywhere where it's cold and I have to do something I'm afraid of. Right. Also, like that's not going to be. Double whammy. That's just not great for me. That's not great for anybody in terms of like.
Starting point is 01:24:21 It's not great for anybody's dick. It's not a great dick. It's not a good dick situation. Do you think Hannah looked down or she just caged like with what she felt? I mean, that's the thing. Like they're like I'm not trying to get weird, but their private parts were touching. Oh, their private parts were touching. Their private parts were touching.
Starting point is 01:24:36 She seamlessly took off her bra. Like for a second of that maybe she's going to leave something. I think they got butt ass naked. They did. I tweeted this last night. I feel like, well aside, I actually loved it. And I think it's great if you're comfortable with that person. and there's nobody else around to see you.
Starting point is 01:24:52 That's fantastic. I agree. But I think that it's probably the worst version of yourself. Like a passport picture, I got my passport done the other day. And my God, I look fucking terrible in this picture when it got printed on the passport. And I feel like it's just the worst version of yourself. And I feel like if you are hanging upside down naked, everything's flopping around, things are in places that they don't belong.
Starting point is 01:25:12 You know, girls' boobs are probably over their head. It's the worst version of yourself. It's certainly the worst version of a guy. Right. Right. The male body is not exactly something to marvel at anyway. And then it's like you're in the cold. In the cold.
Starting point is 01:25:26 In the cold, it's bad. Yeah. Close to water. If I was. If I was gear last night, I wouldn't have been able to stop talking about how cold it is. Like that would have been my entire pitch the whole time. Like, boy, is it cold out here. Right.
Starting point is 01:25:37 So that she understands. She needs to understand. Because she might be thinking. This is it. Yeah. This is the real deal. It's like, no, get me in like a sauna. Somewhere where it's better.
Starting point is 01:25:47 Because out in the cold, you just, and this is the first time they've, seeing each other naked. This isn't, like you're saying, the couple that jump before them, they're probably married, they've been together forever. Garrett's like, this is the first time she's going to see my dick.
Starting point is 01:25:58 Right. And these are the conditions that it's under. That's a nightmare for him. He's going to have to thaw it out after. Well, there are so many pieces of this we didn't see. So I had a couple thoughts. One was,
Starting point is 01:26:08 do we think maybe they had like a thong and tidy and, you know, very tight, maybe like a speedo situation on under the black box? And we just didn't know because it was black boxed? I was thinking that because her bra was on initially.
Starting point is 01:26:25 And then she took the bra off. And then it was black box. I just, I don't know. I want to leave it in my imagination that they were butt naked. Yeah, I do. I do too. I do too. I consider the show it's like Christmas when I was a kid.
Starting point is 01:26:40 Like I'm just going to believe everything I'm told. I don't want to look too far into it. We'll stick with that. They're definitely naked. Second thought was when they came out of the water, which obviously we didn't see her, just even got out of the harnesses. What's going on there?
Starting point is 01:26:53 Because now they really are just naked, but we're not watching and they have to take all the harnesses off. Like, I just don't know how that isn't so awkward. Like, were they separated or maybe they had their back switch? Can we also just put on the fact that it was hailing out? Oh, yeah, it was snowing. It wasn't even just snowing. It was hailing.
Starting point is 01:27:10 I saw the ice rain coming down pretty hard. It did. It did. It was so cold. So there was a lot of missing pieces. to this date that I feel like could have been very uncomfortable. But both of them said it was great. And I guess that is a deep bonding experience.
Starting point is 01:27:26 It's a deep bonding experience. And they kept pushing the narrative that it wasn't a sexual thing. It's more like it's about life. It's about doing things that you're afraid of, which I'm afraid of bungee jumping as it is. Like we don't need to throw naked on top of that. Like bungee jumping is terrifying. You're just jumping off of something connected to a rope. But they did, they were like, oh, it was a life experience together.
Starting point is 01:27:45 We bonded. Now we're closer. So I guess it worked. It could have gone horribly. but it seems like it worked out. But I also think it's better because now when they do have sex, they're just going to, they know what it's like. They know what they look like.
Starting point is 01:27:56 I think that bungee jumping naked together is as comfortable as it's going to get. Right. You had a funny tweet, Maria, where you said, is this an episode of naked and afraid? That was an episode of naked and afraid. It looked like an episode of naked and afraid. That's what I was thinking the whole time. I enjoyed it.
Starting point is 01:28:12 I really, I've never seen something like that on The Bachelorette or Bachelor Granted. I haven't really been watching as long as you guys. but I was pulled right back in. Definitely first naked date. Definitely first naked date. Oh, really? I think so.
Starting point is 01:28:24 I don't know. I didn't know. Unless there was something way back when. But I think maybe this was the first naked date. Definitely in a while it's been the first naked date. They needed to throw that in after last week's catastrophe of an episode. Yeah, they started off strong. That was smart on their point.
Starting point is 01:28:38 Yeah. So then, you know, they have their dinner. They're talking. Garrett was asking her all the right questions. She then, Garrett, Hannah was also wearing a pink fluffy coat I want to mention I feel like Ria you could rock that coat I really did like the coat too
Starting point is 01:28:53 Yeah I just felt like that was a you coat Thanks I tweeted that she looked like Cameron That was that was yeah Cameron always wears the pink fur and she just looked like that Walking the Shots a lot ofia Yeah what else do you wear like you gotta wear Something to stunt Lopia I guess Yeah so why not exactly
Starting point is 01:29:09 Garrett told Hannah that he Was quote He said I'm falling in love for you Do we think he messed that up or he really, like, because it's like, people say I'm falling for you, I'm falling in love with you, but he said, I'm falling in love for you.
Starting point is 01:29:26 I think he fucked that up. I think he fucked that up. I think he meant to say, I'm falling in love with you or I'm falling for you. And he just added it together. But it would have been way better if he just said,
Starting point is 01:29:37 I'm falling for you. Because when they say I'm falling in love with you and really they only had one date, I just don't believe them. Right. When the L word gets thrown in, it's... Right. You don't love them.
Starting point is 01:29:46 You just don't love them. Yeah, no, he does. definitely fuck that up. It's like when a waiter drops off the food for you and they say, enjoy your meal. And then you get caught in between saying you, you, you too, with thanks. Yeah, that's the classic flight attendant. You like don't know what to say. Enjoy your flight. Thanks. You too. You're not going to be. That's like an old Brian Regan bit. I don't know if you guys know who that is. But he's an old comedian. He said that. It's like, you just get confused. And you say, yep, thanks. You enjoy your meal too. Whenever you happen. Get a break.
Starting point is 01:30:09 And you feel so awkward about it every time. Every time I'm on the phone and I order delivery. and I'm like, they say thank you. I don't know why they say thank you. And I say, you're welcome. It's like, I should be thanking you for taking my order and delivering to me. Why am I saying you're welcome? Why are you ordering things on the phone when laptops exist? Like at Long Island.
Starting point is 01:30:31 You know, the old days when you had when you went. You got a little rotary, you got the rotary phone to order. I know you're saying. In Long Island, they don't do post-maid and stuff like that. Right. You have to call like Chinese food delivery, pizza delivery. I have been ordering on a laptop through things like seamless and postmates for so long. I don't, if I had to call, I don't think I would order food.
Starting point is 01:30:51 Really? Hello? What an anxiety-filled situation that is. I didn't realize how weird that sounded until you brought that up. Like, why are you calling somebody on the phone? I literally pictured you with a rotary phone calling someone and like having an operator picks up. Like who you're trying to reach? And it's like the pizza parlor.
Starting point is 01:31:07 Well, picture my house phone because that's what I'm calling on. I'm really bringing it back. Like a cordless house phone? Yeah, like I'm on the house phone, like getting pizza or tiny slipper. Amazing. Amazing. Stunning. I couldn't believe that you were ordering something on a phone. I don't even know what we were talking about.
Starting point is 01:31:21 I don't even know. Oh, the thank you. Garrett said I'm falling in love for you. Yeah, he messed that up. So he goes back to the guys. They ask about the date. They asked about the date. He told them about the naked bungee.
Starting point is 01:31:37 Pretty much, you know, told them everything about it. and Luke says, I'm hearing Garrett's story, but I don't know if that's how it went down. And then he said, there's no way Hannah went bungee jumping naked with Garrett. He's so in his own head and wanting to have Hannah be the way that he wants her to be, that he thinks that he knows the decisions that she'll make. He thinks that she would never make a decision where she would get naked in front of somebody who isn't her husband. Couldn't wrap his brain around it. Do we like Garrett?
Starting point is 01:32:10 I like Garrett, but I also, you know, I'm not like the biggest fan of Garrett. I just feel there's something. There's something off about him. Got it. In this crop of guys, he's on the lower tier. Lower tier than the others. Because there's such a good group of guys, obviously minus Luke B, that a guy like Garrett is kind of wallpaper to me. Right.
Starting point is 01:32:28 I get that. I like Garrett a lot. And Hannah said one line after their day where she was like Garrett feels like home. And I was like, I thought, I don't know if that's a good thing. Because, you know, they're both from Alabama. He was talking about his. growing up in the football family and everything. And I was like, I don't know, I don't know if that's maybe the best thing that he's, that,
Starting point is 01:32:49 I feel like Hannah wants to get out of her comfort zone. Yes. And Sarah might be just like any other guy that she's dated in the past. Yeah, saying someone feels like home, when a person says that, it's sound, they're trying to be nice. They're trying to be nice. But then if you examine it a little bit, it's like, that's really not what you're looking for. Right. Okay.
Starting point is 01:33:06 So then we go to the group date, which is everybody left, except for Peter because he got the next 101. And they go to, they're just exploring, exploring Riga, Latvian Market. They all took a shot of moonshine. Hannah was definitely drunk. I don't know how many shots of that moonshine they took. But I think Hannah was drunk.
Starting point is 01:33:29 An incredibly flirty episode for Hannah. An incredibly horny episode for Hannah. She was like, cheese. That's what I want to do. I love a good cheese. Flower, ooh, fish. Ooh, flowers, like everything. Moonschonel put.
Starting point is 01:33:40 on a different plan. Totally. She's horny Hannah. I've officially labeled her as that. Oh, no, she's horny all the time. 100%. It's amazing. And especially after she had that moonshine.
Starting point is 01:33:49 And then you got Tyler C. Just being like tapping her on the shoulder with flowers. I mean, when Tyler C's in front of your face. What a guy. Tyler C's got it going on. I mean, if we're all sitting here, Tyler C has got it going on. Even Trent could admit he's got it going on. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:34:04 He's great crop of guys and he's near the top of them. Yeah, I would say he is the top. I would say he is as best as it gets out of that group. I know Trent's a big pile of Pete. I love pilot Pete. But if you're looking for Tyler C is a good looking individual. Yeah. Like if we're just talking purely looks,
Starting point is 01:34:20 Tyler C is really, really at the top there. Yeah, he brought her flowers. That was a pro move. And he's like one of the, and the nicest. Sweetest most supportive one out of all of them.
Starting point is 01:34:29 And Mike too. And Mike, of course. But I feel like we're, there are some guys aren't having been getting a lot of air time. I feel like Mike hasn't got maybe just because, Mike so frustrated with Luke P. He doesn't want to get involved. Because anytime he does, he just had, like, he just puts Luke down.
Starting point is 01:34:46 He does. And it's amazing. And he's, maybe in his head, he's like, maybe I should not do this so much. I would love more Mike. More Mike is for, I would love that as well. So, Hannah's definitely drunk on this date. They're having a great time. On the train, she had a drunk oversharing moment, which has happened to all of us.
Starting point is 01:35:04 And she was like, y'all, let me tell you the story. It tells them all about the bungee jumping. You can literally watch Luke P's brain explode in his head that he can't believe that this was actually a real thing. The best thing was he, she was explaining it's like, oh, a tradition for couples that they go naked bungee jumping, which I would love for anybody in Lafayor to confirm or deny if that's actually a tradition.
Starting point is 01:35:28 I think they made that up. Somebody DM'd us. Did you know? No, no. I thought I sent it to you. Somebody DMed us her grandmother is from Lafors or something like that. And she asked, is that a tradition to go naked bungee jumping? And she said, nope, that's news to us.
Starting point is 01:35:44 Yeah, okay. So I don't think it is. I think they made up all the Latvian traditions in this episode. I'm pretty sure made up. So he, Luke goes, is this like when you're an official couple tradition or like he's just, he can't wrap his mind around a couple who are not married being naked together? Which is crazy because he's been naked with women. That's what I was going to say.
Starting point is 01:36:07 A couple that's not married and that's not him. Like if he was on that bungee jumping date, he would have had his dick flopping around. He would have had no problem with it. The only problem what Luke has with it is that he wasn't involved. And that's where he starts to try to control Hannah. And it's like, dude, this is, I mean, she genuinely seemed like she didn't realize it was going to be a naked bungee jumping thing. But then you just do it and that's the date. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:29 You can't freak out about that. They weren't going to not do it. Exactly. Or were they supposed to turn around and go home and say we're not doing this. That would have been boring as fuck. Definitely. I would have turned off my TV. after last week.
Starting point is 01:36:38 And Luke said things like, I totally thought that was crossed in the line. Her body is a temple. Shut up. And to expose it to anyone that isn't her husband, that's a slap in my face. He just makes me irrationally angry. It's not irrational, though, because it's not rationally. He makes me rationally angry, okay? I have to say that.
Starting point is 01:37:00 I was watching the TV. And when I heard the words, I actually wasn't even looking at the TV when he said this. and I heard the words, your body is a temple. And I turned to the TV and I just said, fuck you. You're just so annoying. Get off my TV screen.
Starting point is 01:37:13 And the fact that he thinks that he could sit there and tell her what to do, I mean, it's the Bachelorette. She's in charge. Yes. If she wants to go naked bungee jumping, which the Bachelorette themselves set up, she's going to go naked bungee jumping.
Starting point is 01:37:28 Yeah. And also, he did a thing in his long speech about how he didn't approve of what had happened. He was like, I know, you know, sometimes people make boneheaded mistakes and they can move on from it. He's like assuming. Don't worry. We'll get to that.
Starting point is 01:37:41 He's just assuming that she made boneheaded mistakes when it's just from his vantage point, he doesn't approve of that. Right. And it just wasn't a mistake. No. It wasn't a mistake at all. She didn't like, she didn't like come to and it was like, oh my God, I'm naked bungee jumping. How the hell did I get here?
Starting point is 01:37:52 What the fuck? It was like a conscious decision that she made. Exactly. So the guys all go to their, you know, whatever cocktail situation at the end of the group date. I just have to read. what Tyler said. Tyler C. pulled her aside first. I just have to read what Tyler said because Oh, this was beautiful. It was beautiful. Shakespeare-like. It was beautiful. He said,
Starting point is 01:38:15 he noticed her, she was wearing a white dress. And remember when she was yelling at everybody, she was wearing that white dress. Everybody's stay in your lane wearing the white dress. Right. Stay in your lane. Yeah. She said, he said, you were wearing all white and you looked heaven sent. You look like an angel. I pray to God that you're my angel, you know? And later on, you help. held it down with all of us. You stood there and fought. You had this look where you were just all business and I thought, that's what I want. I want that. You're going to have kids and things that you have to stand up for and fight for. Where did this fighter come from? Because I
Starting point is 01:38:47 adore it. Now, let me tell you, Tyler got to the word fighter and was cut off because Hannah then straddled him. Right. Like she loved what she was hearing and she just started making out with him. She couldn't resist. Immediately straddled him. Yeah, I mean, I was happy Hannah did that. I felt like it was coming the whole time. I feel like the whole time she was. She was thinking to herself, okay, I just want to make out this human being now. Like, all right, you're saying all the right things. I get it. Yeah, I'd say, if you're Tyler seeing that situation, like, how many more awesome, perfect
Starting point is 01:39:14 things do I have to say before you jump my bones? Right, yeah. Like, what do I have to do here? And I wish I could do a good Tyler's the impression because what you just read there is beautiful and it's great. But the way he talks is so. He's like a mumble. He's like, yeah, it doesn't do it.
Starting point is 01:39:27 I don't know how many people out there are going to know this reference, but it's like Matt Brown, who works here. He's like, oh, you're an angel. You're having a sin. It actually does kind of talk like Matt Brown. He 100% does. That would be my only, it's not a mark against Tyler Cee, but every time he talks, he's just like, he looks super high, he can barely open his eyes, he's just like, you're an angel,
Starting point is 01:39:44 you're heaven's sad, you're angel like. That was pretty good. That was really, that was spot on. I was working on it. I also think that's what I like about Tyler C's because he's so real. You know what I mean? Like, he's not saying these things with perfect punctuation and whatnot. He's saying it like, you know.
Starting point is 01:40:01 He's always like, you know, you know. Yeah. I can't do it, but I feel like I say you know all the time. But I don't say it as cool as Tyler C does. I'll tell you that. Definitely not. None of us do. Hannah couldn't get enough of her body parts touching him.
Starting point is 01:40:15 Like her leg was over his leg, arm. She could not get enough physical contact. She was trying to get the maximum amount. Totally fair. Jed played another song for Hannah. I can't tell if ABC went back and was like, all right. Everybody knows about Jed's girlfriend. Do we just post every, like, do we just post?
Starting point is 01:40:39 Do we just edit every version of their dates of only where he's playing her music? So we like really make him the bad guy. Yes. I think they did. I think they did too. Like where they were like, oh, shit, all right. We just have to have Jed sing a song to Hannah every time we see him. He didn't say a single word last night that wasn't trying to harm him.
Starting point is 01:40:57 Everything was musical. I actually didn't hear him say one sentence that he wasn't singing. He sang all this feelings. He went from playing the piano. to playing the guitar. I was like he's making sure he gets all of his talents out there so anybody watching knows that Jed is multi-talented with the instruments. When they were making out on the bed and the guitar was just laying next to them,
Starting point is 01:41:18 it looked like he was having a threesome with the guitar and Hannah. I legitimately thought in that moment that he was going to start playing the guitar as they were making out. I swear to God, I was like, please God do that so we can hate you even more than we already do. Yeah, I think they really... That would have been amazing. They had to go back and edit it because he... The home song he sank for Han on the piano was not good. Was not that good.
Starting point is 01:41:40 I will throw that. I think he just like, he has the same formula. He like says like, oh, Hannah, just these things about her. And then he just tries to sing what he wants to say. It's just a nightmare. It's like a car wreck. It really is. So then the guys obviously started getting into it about the bungee jumping because
Starting point is 01:41:57 Luke couldn't shut the fuck up about it. Tyler said, I couldn't, you know, we couldn't love Tyler more. Tyler said, I respect and love that she went for it. She's making her own decisions. Let her, basically saying let her live. I respect and love. Her experience. Do things to the max.
Starting point is 01:42:12 I respect and love that she went for it. Yeah. I honestly, I was blushing when he was just like, you know, I just love and respect that she went for it. And that she just did it. And, you know, she's just making the most. She's just making the most. And Mike was sitting there rooting him on. And I was like, I love this.
Starting point is 01:42:27 They were just going back and forth cheering each other on. Mike is not the video of him saying it. And you just see Mike in the back being like, nodding his head up and down. Like, yes, Tyler. Exactly. Luke goes to Hannah because he says he can't hold it in. Anytime you open a conversation with I'm going to be honest, you're not going to like this.
Starting point is 01:42:47 Maybe just don't say it. Well, and also, hey Luke P. Newsflash, we haven't liked a single thing you've said since you got out of the limo. So you don't have to preface Hannah on a thing you're going to say because it's probably going to be stupid and nobody's going to like it. Yeah. And I don't think Hannah focused on this point enough was that he opened. opened it up by comparing the bungee jumping to cheating. He was like, have you ever been cheated on it?
Starting point is 01:43:10 Do you know that feeling in your stomach? I couldn't believe he was going there with this. And he was like, that's how I felt. It's like, are you kidding me? Are you really going to compare? You're on a dating show where Hannah is dating multiple people. She's cheating on you. She's cheating on everybody here.
Starting point is 01:43:26 Much she's making out with all the other guys. You're worried about the naked bungee jumping? It's actually just a show about cheating because she is. is dating multiple people at once. That's what you sign up for, Luke P. I couldn't, when he started bringing up that analogy, he's like, you ever been cheated on? I was like, I could not believe he was going on.
Starting point is 01:43:45 Me either. I started laughing. I was like, you know, I hate this guy so much. I'm starting to laugh at him. It's just a classic case of forgetting what show you're on. And usually, you don't, usually when it happens, you don't hate the guy as much as we all hate Luke P. It's usually funny.
Starting point is 01:43:59 But him just, yeah, he just forgot that he was on The Bachelorette, and there's 10 people that she's dating. and making out with a naked bungee jemmy with. And he's just, he wants her all to himself. Yep. Garrett said, oh, no, Luke said, Garrett blurted out things about your date, which I wanted to talk about because that was just a blatant lie.
Starting point is 01:44:17 All the guy, when he came, when Garrett came back, the guys were like, how was your date. What did you guys do? That's just how the show works too. So the way he framed it was like, Garrett blurted out what you guys did on your date. Like tried to make it sound like Garrett came back and was like,
Starting point is 01:44:31 we want naked bungee jumping. and that's just not what happened. That's like what Hannah did on the group day. She, like, blurted out to the other guys. She was like, oh, yeah, we went naked, bunched up, and all that. Yeah, Luke definitely lied about what... Right, Hannah started oversharing.
Starting point is 01:44:45 Yeah, she got drunk and... No problem. It sounds like she had a great time. And this is when he said, your body is the temple. He said it again. He said that he was really pissed off. He said that he was looking for her to meet his family soon, so it felt like a slap in the face.
Starting point is 01:45:05 I mean, this is just not a real relationship in real life, Luke. This was the line that I could not believe came out of his mouth. No matter what you do, I'm going to support you. Even if you make a bonehead mistake and do something completely out of your character and something that's wrong, I'm going to do whatever it is to make things right. And I'm in this, like, and he kept going on about how he was in it. That's by far the worst part of the whole thing. I was like, he is teaching a master class on gaslighting because,
Starting point is 01:45:31 I cannot believe that he is like, no, I'll always be here for you, even when you do really dumb stuff. And he's like, and then he tried to backtrack and say, no, like, I wasn't talking about the bungee jumping as the mistake. Like, yes, you are. Yes, you are. That's why you're having the conversation in the first place. I can't believe Hannah just didn't look him in the face and said, get out right there. If somebody started saying that to me, I would just say leave. Why are you here?
Starting point is 01:45:57 I don't like you. How is Hannah still looking at him and thinking, ah, there might be a future between us? There's not. There's no future between you two at all. I was stunned by her reaction. You come to find out later that she's been thinking about like what he said and brings him back and like it's like what the fuck was that. But in that moment, she didn't say anything. I don't know if they cut it strangely. But after he gets done saying these crazy controlling manipulative things, she doesn't say anything. And then they like cut away from it. And I was like, if that's the end of it then I don't know if I can trust Hannah's decision making. But then later on she kind of comes back to it. But Luke P is just, he is the worst. I saw a lot of tweets compared. it to like a lot of people are like, oh, this sounds like my high school boyfriend. This sounds like my high school boyfriend. That is a high school boyfriend. Totally.
Starting point is 01:46:38 That's what high school boyfriends act like. Yeah. It totally is. Trent, I wanted to read, Trent, do you have your tweet that? Oh, it was a good tweet. Either I retweeted or I liked it or I don't know what I did. But it was. I'm looking at my tweets right now.
Starting point is 01:46:52 Oh, you are? Yeah. It was your Luke P. quote of like the way that Luke P talks. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. He said, I think this is this one you're talking about? I'm talking about. This one here?
Starting point is 01:47:02 Yep, that one. Quote, I don't support anything you do with, I didn't, I don't support anything you did with Garrett today at all, and I'm furious about it, and I know you better than you know yourself, but I'll support you through anything. Yeah, like that's basically what he was saying. It's like talking out of both sides of his mouth.
Starting point is 01:47:14 It really is. And you know what else really irked me about what he was saying? He kept saying bare-skinned. I was like, stop, you, bear-skinned? Like, they were naked. Just say they were naked. Yeah. Like, he's like, just her being bare-skinned.
Starting point is 01:47:29 Like, you being bare-skinned. I was like, ew, stop that. I didn't, I don't want to. Oh, he said that to her face. This is exactly why he was like, your body is a temple and hearing you were bare skinned with Garrett. I was like, uh, the whole thing where, you know, oh, I, I found God in the shower. I found Jesus in the shower.
Starting point is 01:47:46 Just give me a break. I can't do it anymore with this guy. I know. Obviously, Tyler got the group date rose because he crushed that group to you. Yep. It was, if Jed got that group date rose, I would have been so pissed. But thankfully Tyler got it. Pilot Pete, he got the 101.
Starting point is 01:48:04 They're headed to. Hannah also had a great pilot Pete analogy just said that he's the guy you want to see pushing the stroller in the park. Spot-on description of Pilot Pete. That is a spot-on description. Yeah, she nailed that. I'm a huge Pilot Pete fan. I have been since the beginning. My reason for liking Pilot Pete so much is that he's not as attractive as the other ones, I guess.
Starting point is 01:48:27 And he's just a nice guy. He seems like a very regular, normal nice guy. Like Tyler C seems like an awesome guy, but he's like super good looking. Right, right. Pilot P is just so like. Can't have it all. I didn't mean to say Pilot P was ugly. That's not what I meant to say.
Starting point is 01:48:41 No, but I know. He's just like a normal looking guy. He's not as hot as Tyler. Tyler's way more suave too than Pete. Like every time Pete grabs hand to like make out, I'm like, oh, Pete. Right. Hold on Pete. Easy now.
Starting point is 01:48:52 Yeah, like, don't hurt. Don't get too far out of your bounds here now. He's so cute. He's so cute. He's so sweet. So they go to these. Ottvian Perts, which were described as like this place, this intimate place to open your heart. And obviously they filled it with romance and whatever.
Starting point is 01:49:11 It looked like an opium then. Yeah. So out of curiosity, I googled. I just Googled them because I was curious. I also have a very good friend who, you know, is familiar with some of the culture. And she was like, my uncle cannot believe that this is like on the show right now. They were abs. She was, she couldn't believe it.
Starting point is 01:49:31 I watched an episode. She goes, I'm dying at the way they're explaining perks. I can't. She goes like, I can't, my God, get out. That never happens. I was just saying, I watched the episode. I don't know what they did. I don't know what happened.
Starting point is 01:49:42 They were like, they were using some leaves. They just got like hit with some branches. They were in a sauna. They got rubbed in some honey. I don't know. But anyway, I googled it. They were like, there's a traditional sauna that you can go to in Riga. And that's, I guess that's what they went to.
Starting point is 01:49:57 That's filled with pagan rituals. that existed prior to the country's 13th century conversion to Christianity. There's a lot of folk songs that contribute to this. They say, historically, Perts served multiple purposes. It was a separate building from the living accommodations on a farm, could be used as a bathhouse, a place where women gave birth or took newborns for their first bath and where people were taken before death.
Starting point is 01:50:21 The Perts were so important that when families settled new land, they often built it before building their own home or barn. So, okay, important place. Don't really think it has anything to do with love falling in love. Yeah, it was strange. Seems like that was a force. Yeah, it's like they went from, they made up a Latvian tradition when they did naked bungee jumping. And then they went full on into actual Latvian tradition and they went to a purse.
Starting point is 01:50:45 And then they just gave different traditions for that. Like we said, rubbed honey on themselves, got in the sauna. They had leaves kind of, I don't know, they, there were some. some folks singing. Yeah, that was funny when the lady sang a song. And then they were like, man, that was beautiful. And then she just started singing again. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:51:03 They were like, oh, we didn't realize the song wasn't over. Yep, yep. Sorry about that. Just went on for a while. And then they just made out in the sauna for a long time, I would assume. That seems nice. Yeah, that's the total opposite of the naked bungee jumping in the freezing cold. Yeah, total opposite.
Starting point is 01:51:17 Getting hot and sweaty and make it out. And I don't know what it is about watching Pete make out with Hannah. but every time I'm like, ooh, Pete. Like, he was, like, rubbing his arm up and down to body. And I was like, okay, Pete. Any sexual move that Pete makes, it's kind of like, I didn't know he had that one. Right. You're like, I didn't know he had.
Starting point is 01:51:36 He had it. I didn't know he had pulling out of his bag of tricks. Yeah. Like Fran says, sweet, sweet pilot Pete. Sweet, sweet pilot Pete. Oh, I like that. Isn't that nice? That's really nice.
Starting point is 01:51:45 And so he, they have tons of physical chemistry. Hannah said she's hoping that they have, you know, the emotional chemistry. A hot tub popped out of nowhere, like always. on a one-on-one date. We were missing that hot tub date. I'm glad they put it in there, just put a hot tub in the wilderness somewhere. Really felt like we got back to the basics on that one.
Starting point is 01:52:04 We did. You just got a hot tub in a place where no hot tub has ever been or will ever be again. Exactly. It's just they have to, like you were saying, like there's some quotas that they need to hit every season. Ambulance. Helicopter.
Starting point is 01:52:16 Helicopter. Hot tub in the middle of nowhere. Hot tub in the middle of nowhere. I think those are the big three. Those are really the big ones. Those are really the big ones. person who gets too drunk. Fireworks. Fireworks. Guy or gal too drunk on the first night. Yep.
Starting point is 01:52:31 Villain, of course. A low-budget, not super famous musician playing on a one-on-one date. It's my favorite one. Yeah. It really is my favorite one. Yeah. I just love when they roll out these bands and they're just like, here is, you know, sandy beaches. And it's just all right. And they're so pumped, but they're really not pumped because they have no idea. They got 1,400 followers on Twitter and they're just, you know, happy to be alive. Right. The last, they've done, I have to say this season, not that bad. Jake Owen, right? Was one of them.
Starting point is 01:53:02 Who I knew, which was crazy. Which was great. That was like, wow, Jake Owen. I interviewed Jake Owen. Exactly. We got one of four play podcast, download rate subscribe now. We got our biggest story from Jake Owen, Phil Mickelson story. So that's one that I did know.
Starting point is 01:53:15 So I didn't tweet normally like I normally do like, oh, here comes another. I was like, I know this guy. But everybody else is Sandy Beaches with 14005. Yes. So Hannah's in the hot tub. with Pete. She says she's a little crazy. Pete's like, I like crazy.
Starting point is 01:53:30 So this is, I have a lot of questions. Okay. A lot of questions about this. Okay. So Pete says crazy's fun, crazy's good. And Hannah's like, I'm crazy, back and forth, back and forth. Whatever. Is crazy really that good?
Starting point is 01:53:44 No. It's really not. I don't know if it's good, but men, there are men that definitely like crazy. Men like crazy. But they don't like crazy forever. No. I would say some men do like crazy. You're right, they probably don't like it forever, but initially they do.
Starting point is 01:54:01 I'll tell you this. Pilot Pete, he's not prepared for crazy. He said he's prepared and that he likes crazy. He couldn't be less equipped for crazy. That's more of what I meant by it. That's more of like, I don't think Pilot Pete really wants the crazy that he's saying he wants. Right. That's kind of how I feel about it.
Starting point is 01:54:19 I could see that. It's another one of those things where we talked about where Garrett feels like home. Like that seems like a good thing, but then it's not really. And when you say you're like, I want crazy, you don't. And also everyone, everyone's a little crazy. Like, you know when girls are, oh, I'm crazy. It's just like, we're all a little crazy. True.
Starting point is 01:54:36 You know, you don't need to state it because we're all crazy. It's, you're right. There's different levels to it. Yeah. And so they have their dinner. Pete gets a rose. They go outside, fireworks, obviously. And Pete just can't control himself.
Starting point is 01:54:49 He was like, you have no idea how much I'm falling for you right now. always like this. He was gushing. That felt genuine. He likes Han a lot. He does. He does. He really likes Han a lot.
Starting point is 01:54:59 Which makes me scared for my guy, Pilot Pete. Yeah. I agree. I, I, I am, I don't think Pilot P is going to make it to the end. I, I, uh, yeah. Yeah. I just don't think so. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 01:55:14 That makes me sad. I know. And I'm rooting for him. But at the same time, I think that she connects. a little bit better with other people. When we lose pilot Pete on the show, we lose all sense of normalcy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:55:29 Because then you're just... We lose love and hope. Do we lose happiness? Do we lose Pete before we lose Luke P? Yes. Now, do you know this for a fact? No, I don't. I'm telling you that I said this before.
Starting point is 01:55:43 I only know the pure winner. Okay. I do not know anything. Ria got a spoiled for, but only the way. Yeah. But I seriously only know the winner. I do not know a runner up. I don't know who goes home next.
Starting point is 01:55:57 I know nothing of that. I know purely the winner. If we lose Pete, Pilot Pete, before we lose Luke P, that's Game of Thrones level cruelty. Right. True. Like Robbie tweeted that Hannah was turning into the Mad Queen, that would be very Mad Queen-esque. It is. You can't lose Pilot Pete before you lose Luke P, but it does
Starting point is 01:56:15 sort of seem like it's heading in that direction. It does. Zen, we saw Jed you know play a stupid song outside on his window on his guitar a lot of dusty dinkleman references were made which is an amazing reference for this moment he actually sung the words like I will never tell you a lie
Starting point is 01:56:36 or I don't know if that was exactly what it was but something along those lines and I just couldn't believe it I couldn't believe it the guy with the girlfriend there he is he's like I'll never tell you whatever he played Mr. Wright I'll be a miss Right girl, which is actually kind of, I actually like that one a little bit.
Starting point is 01:56:53 Yeah, this is the problem is that sometimes Jed plays things that I enjoy. Yeah, Mr. Right song I kind of like. It's like, all right, this is a good little tune here, a good little ditty. But you have a girlfriend back home. We all know that. And every time he's on the screen doing these types of things, he just looks like a bigger asshole. Oh, every time.
Starting point is 01:57:09 For him to say that he doesn't lie, it was, it was just, you're like, wow, you could not be shooting yourself in the foot anymore. It's also just something you can't say. No. Nobody doesn't lie. I'll never tell you a lie. When people are like, I never lie, I've never told a lie. You're lying right then and there.
Starting point is 01:57:25 Right. That's, you're a liar. You're a liar because everybody has told a lie in their lifetime. In order to keep your life in balance, you at least have to tell some lies. And Jed told Hannah that he's really falling in love with her. He was like, I feel this deeply. I'm really falling in love to. He's like, I really feel that record contract. It's coming.
Starting point is 01:57:43 Yeah, it's going to be there. It's coming. I can't wait to have my song on Spotify. I'm going to be later and later seasons. I'm going to be one of these bands that plays for the couple that's dancing. Oh, yeah. That would be, that's something we haven't seen yet. What about pop punk?
Starting point is 01:57:56 What if, what if they were on The Bachelorette? That would be awesome. That would be the best thing ever. That would be so good. I want that to happen. I want to be the luggage guy and I want Pop Punk to perform during some sort of date while fireworks go off in the background. Then we had Garrett and Luke go at each other.
Starting point is 01:58:11 Car analogies are flying left and right. You could actually see like Luke's brain. Like I said, all episode, you could see Luke's brain break. And there was one point where he paused for like a solid five seconds before answering Garrett. Because you just knew that he was not understanding what Garrett was saying to him. And he was just throwing back the same nonsense. We got the sweet dreams, Luke Line, which was amazing. Luke P has brought very little positivity and enjoyment into my life.
Starting point is 01:58:42 But him really taking the car analogy to its absolute limit. I was laughing so hard. He was like, I'm driving down the street. And if I'm in my lane and you stay in your lane, I look over and I'm going to make a right on red. And then I'm going to turn my signal on. It's like I was right. He would have taken it. If they hadn't stopped him, he would still be making the car analogy.
Starting point is 01:59:01 He'd be like, he would just, it was really the funniest thing in the world. It was so funny. And when after, so obviously we know that Hannah came in, pulled Luke away and because she had some problems with what he said. Very fair. She said she didn't like the language. She respected that he came to her, but she didn't like the language. that he used. He gave this like full dumbass apology.
Starting point is 01:59:22 He was like, I have full trust in you. I don't want to see or know what you do with the other guys. I'm never going to control you or tell you what you can and can't do with your body. He said the mistake line wasn't about the bungee jumping. And then he was like, I don't want to see. Like, I don't want to say you're twisting my words.
Starting point is 01:59:39 But, you know, and then he said I was totally misunderstood. I don't want you to misunderstand anything I say. Dude, they were talking about. They were talking about. They were talking. were talking about the bungee jumping incident. Totally.
Starting point is 01:59:49 And that's why he brought it up to her being like, I didn't like when you bungee jump naked with Garrett. And I think that was a boneheaded mistake. And I'm still going to support you to that. And then to come back later and say, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, the fact that you think we were talking about the bungee jumping incident there is crazy. I think you're really misunderstanding what I'm trying to say, that's a sociopath. That's a person who needs to need medical.
Starting point is 02:00:12 Gaslighting nonsense. The whole time. But I said it from day one. I said, Luke B is a psychopath. This guy is a straight-up psychopath, and he's proven to be a psychopath. It really is. It's crazy. Obviously, we go back.
Starting point is 02:00:25 All the guys are yelling each other again. Is it sociopath or psychopath? I don't know. You know, sometimes you shoot him out and you're like, they have specific meanings. They do. There are different meanings, but I think he might be as a, I would maybe say sociopath. I said sociopath, and I don't know if that was the right word or not. You know, why don't we look up the definition of each one?
Starting point is 02:00:46 Psychopath. Okay. Did I not spell that right? Sociopath is a person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscious. I don't feel like I use that correctly after that definition was just read. Psychopath is traditionally a personality disorder characterized by persistent antisocial behavior. Okay, they're giving the same one.
Starting point is 02:01:11 That sounds very similar. Psychopaths tend to lack normal human emotions such as guilt. They're also often highly intelligent and skilled at manipulating others. I don't know about highly intelligent, but he's definitely skilled at manipulating others. He's definitely a manipulative for sure. So it's just crazy. We don't need to dive into it too much besides the fact that he is manipulating her to absolutely no end. All the guys are getting frustrated.
Starting point is 02:01:39 Everybody's going back and forth. The car analogies, this is like, they're like, well, what happens when you're looking out the window and staying in your lane? you swerve. There was a part where Luke P. was like, you stay in your lane. And then Garrett and Mike were basically like, you stay in your lane. And I was like,
Starting point is 02:01:56 you stay in your lane, you stay in your lane, everyone. You, you, you, you, you. The best was Luke was like, everybody's stay in their lane. You, you, you. And then he pointed Mike, you keep doing you. Yeah. Like you didn't dare point at Mike
Starting point is 02:02:08 and tell Mike to stay at his lane. Yeah. And then when Tyler C was like, yo, you're puffing your chest up. Yeah, he was like, stop trying to big dog us. And Luke B was like, I'm not puffing my chest up, but he literally was puffing his chest up. And then the funniest thing, the continuation of Luke P.
Starting point is 02:02:23 thinking he's friends with Tyler C. is really funny. I'm trying to talk to my dog T.C. I'm talking my man T.C. or whatever that he said. I'm talking to my boy T.C. right here. It's like, your boy T.C. He hates you. And then the pictures, the pictures of them next to each other on the couch, Tyler C.
Starting point is 02:02:37 Amazing. All those pictures are so funny. So he wants nothing to do with him. I also love when Luke P. just yelled out, yeah, no text. and driving. I mean, listen, people will tweet at us sometimes and be like, this show is so scripted, this is stupid. And I think, I don't think the show is scripted in any way.
Starting point is 02:02:54 I think maybe they massage situations to make them come out in a certain way. If you had told me last night that the car stay in your lane conversation was scripted, I would have 100% believed you because they just kept being like, you stay in your lane. They're like, why don't you stay in your lane? Drive your car down the street. Don't swerve. Stay in the middle of the lane. I couldn't believe that was happening.
Starting point is 02:03:13 It was so funny. And Chris Harrison came in. He's like, look, there's no cocktail party. Again, Hannah just wants to go in the rose ceremony. She's kind of upset. And it was Mike with just the best line of all time. Because Luke was like, this is my fault. Luke was like, it is your fault, bro.
Starting point is 02:03:31 Shut the fuck up. So good. I love Mike so much. It was so perfect because it very clearly, every time there's no cocktail party. Yeah. It's because of Luke. And this is the third time now. There hasn't been a cocktail part.
Starting point is 02:03:42 Tyler was like three for three, bro. Oh, good job. Yeah. Like, thanks for nothing. Third time without a cocktail party and every time it's because of Luke. Yeah. Also, have there been this many times where a Bachelor, a Bachelorette has opted out of a cocktail party?
Starting point is 02:03:54 I don't know, but she's... Because she's opting out quite often. She is. I would say no. Because we've had villains before, but I don't remember a villain getting this far. I know. They get cut off. I don't think we've had a villain go this far or potentially go this far since...
Starting point is 02:04:12 Remember Ben, Ben, F. He picked Courtney and everybody hated her. Yes. Where? Courtney? What was her name? Courtney?
Starting point is 02:04:19 Oh, boy. Tested my knowledge. Yeah, that crazy girl was Courtney. Thank you. Thank you, Aaron. Ben Flajnick and, and, and Courtney. I have no idea. Courtney Robertson.
Starting point is 02:04:32 Yep, yeah. I read her book. Okay. I mean, three, with it, I legitimately thought Luke P was gone three weeks ago. The fact that I, like I said, I was traveling the last two weeks and I was for sure that I was to come back and it was just going to be no Luke P. And now he's still here. And then he gets another rose last night.
Starting point is 02:04:49 Crazy. I don't understand. When do you think he's going to go home? Let's all place our bets. I say the week. Do we think he gets a hometown? Because at this point it would be, now I'm going to be shocked kind of if he doesn't get one.
Starting point is 02:05:01 Well, I was going to say the week before hometowns. I think he'll go. I don't know because the scene we saw in the previews about about the sex situation. I feel like that could be fantasy. Fantasy sweets. Because Hannah's like, look, I've had sex. I've had sex. So I don't know if she just means like in the past
Starting point is 02:05:18 or if she's talking about actually on the show she has had sex, in which case maybe Luke P is like the third fantasy suite. And she's like, yeah, I already have had sex. I thought that, I think that was in general. I think that was just like a general I've had sex. I really don't want to meet Luke P's family. So I would love it.
Starting point is 02:05:37 I do. I want to study these people. I actually 100% want to meet Luke P's family because I need to see. see who raised this human being. I agree. Because his parents, I hate to break it to them, they're probably going to get shit on as well as soon as we find out who they are.
Starting point is 02:05:52 Because these are the people that raised this human being. Which sucks, but that's the name of the game with this show. And obviously, he is the villain of this season. And what are we at right now? Seven guys left, right? Yeah. Six or seven. Okay, we have.
Starting point is 02:06:07 Mike. Garrett, Mike, Tyler, Connor. Pete. Pete. Luke. Luke. I think that's about it. Am I forgetting somebody?
Starting point is 02:06:16 There's somebody else. I feel like there was seven. Or maybe there's six. Mike, Luke, Tyler. Oh, Jed. Duh. Oh, Jed. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 02:06:25 He doesn't really count, but he counts. So seven. Yeah. Yeah. I think he gets a hometown. Because at this point, she said it last night. What did she say? Maybe it was in the preview where she was like, I don't know if I'm falling in love with Luke Pee or if he's driving me crazy.
Starting point is 02:06:40 And I just, I don't, I think he's going to be around. If he's made it this far, I don't seem going away. I'm not sure what the schedule is, but I guess maybe next week we could potentially lose three guys and then the week after that would be hometowns. Which I think makes the most sense from when I think the finale is July 22nd. So I think that would make the most sense. But I don't know because he's not wearing the coat that he's wearing.
Starting point is 02:07:06 It seems like next week we might get a Garrett Luke two on one. Oh, God. Which I forgot about completely. I have to say completely forgot about the two-on-one after Colton just did into a two-on-one. Totally forgot. And then I was like, oh, my God, are we going to get a Garrett-Luc two-on-one?
Starting point is 02:07:19 It's messed up that Colton didn't do a two-on-one because I love the luggage guy. It's one of my favorite things, and that's really the only time they get to shine. And when you don't have one, you can't have a nondescript man in a black shirt take luggage out of a hotel room. And we had the line in the preview of Luke being like,
Starting point is 02:07:35 well, now there's one less guy. Remember when he said that? He was like, now there's one less guy. Like numbers. It's better for us. And Tyler was like, yeah, now you have five guys who hate you. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 02:07:48 All I know is we knew Dylan was going home because of The Bachelor in Paradise previews. So they spoiled last night. Dylan, Dylan's gone. Dylan went home. Dustin went home. Who's Dustin? Nose ring guy. What?
Starting point is 02:07:59 I don't remember. I have no idea that there was a guy named Dustin with a nose ring. He bit the head off the fish in the market. It was on the group date. I am completely. I could not even. Dusting very much involved. Brown hair.
Starting point is 02:08:15 Nope, brown hair. I could not even tell you. I couldn't make a guess. I got brown hair. Couldn't make a single-gare nose ring. You think a nose ring would be like a something you'd remember. No, I just don't remember it. I don't really know.
Starting point is 02:08:25 I guess not. Well, that's about it. And I guess we'll have to see. But Luke's going to last a while. And I love Tyler throwing in the previews like, we got a 5-8 villain on her hand. Just on our hands. Oh. Tyler just had to throw in there that Luke's five.
Starting point is 02:08:41 Five-eight. We got a five-eight villain on her hand. Love that. A couple weeks ago, we got the preview of Luke Peab being like, you're not going to mess it up. And I completely forgot about that. So I thought he was for sure going home last night. And when he got the rose, I was just like, holy shit.
Starting point is 02:08:56 Yeah, we might have a few more weeks. Buckle up, folks. All right. That wraps up today's episode. We have a lot of new merch going on sale tomorrow. We have tie-dye t-shirts for men and women. which are honestly so fantastic. I have to say.
Starting point is 02:09:14 Super soft. Super soft. And if you are, listen, they're great for everybody, every eye color. But if you have blue eyes, these things will make those things pop. I'm just saying. We got stickers, the sticker pack. And we got a bathing suit and a few other things. Shorts.
Starting point is 02:09:30 Shorts. Oh, these are my favorite. I have to admit that I was skeptical on the shorts for at first. But I've actually worn them every single night I go home. Me too. Like I just come home. from work and put them on and sit on my couch. I was really excited about the shorts.
Starting point is 02:09:45 I wanted to do it. Fran was like, I don't know. And I was like, let's just give it a try. We got samples. Yeah. And they're great. So all that is going on sale tomorrow because obviously we got to do it for some Friday energy. Everybody, have a great weekend.
