Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners.

What's up, everyone?
It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Monday.
We are together in Martha's Vineyard right now at Francesca's beautiful home.
We were here for the weekend.
We're having a great time.
I don't even have to ask you how you are because I'm with us.
We're right here.
I've been with you all weekend.
there's been good Martha's been very hospitable this weekend. Thanks for having us. I needed some
wholesome Mariano family fun in my life and that's what I got. It couldn't have been more. It's my dad's
60th birthday weekend. Like we mentioned on Friday, there was a surprise and he was very surprised.
He had no idea. There was multiple surprises as the weekend went on and he was a happy camper and everyone in the
family is moving a little slow on this Sunday, I will admit.
Everybody's moving slow.
We'll talk about the party, but let's talk about this morning per second.
Your family came back over this morning, and everyone was sitting around.
And then I got up to take a shower and I came back.
And there was no more seats on the couch for me.
And it was one of those times where I was like, I just got to go lay inside.
I can't be sitting at the kitchen table with my eyes shutting right now.
I got to go lay in there.
No, which was a good call because for some reason I decided I needed to actually get out of bed at 9 a.m.
Because J.B. and Joe were a week watching Frickin Formula One.
So I could hear it from the room near everything in the house, had to wake up.
But I will say what is great about being with the, you know, older folk, one might say.
Everything starts and ends earlier.
You know, the parties start earlier and they end earlier.
So both nights comfortably in bed by 1215.
Oh my gosh.
So comfortably.
I've been sharing a room with your siblings, which has been hilarious.
We're in a room with three twin beds, me, your brother and your sister.
And we all got in this room last night, got into bed.
And the three of us at the same time sighed.
We were like, and all of us are around the same age.
And we were like, wait a second.
Why are we acting like we're 80 years old?
It's 12.15. We were supposed to go out.
And yeah, both nights, it has been funny that we're like, oh, no, no, yeah, we're definitely, like, going to go.
We're definitely going to do something after. And then it's like 10.30 and we're like, ah, yeah, we're just going to stay.
Yeah, we're just going to stay. Comfortable in bed. But awesome party. Awesome party.
Your mom did a fabulous job. She did. She pulled off the surprise. Your family, oh, my God.
Like, oh, the good people. Just a fucking blast.
They're good people.
Dancing my ass off of Mima.
Yeah.
Just a good time.
Mima is just a superstar.
Everybody just, she had an outfit change.
She's shared.
And heels the whole time.
Yes.
She just came out with an outfit change with more jewelry on.
I was like, wait, this is, it was around eight, nine o'clock she gets into a costume change.
Oh, God.
It was great.
We had a band.
They were fantastic.
The neighbor sang a song for at one point.
We all sang happy birthday.
The cake was fantastic.
It all really, like, big credit to my mom.
She executed it all perfectly.
Obama's 60th birthday had nothing on us.
No, no shot.
Who needs Beyonce?
Jesus.
No shot.
We had a fucking blast.
Oh, man.
And just good time to it all around.
Yeah.
However, because we're having so much, so many good times here, we're, we haven't
done anything that we're supposed to be.
We haven't done our homework.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm on a bender.
Yeah.
And I haven't done my homework. Neither is brand, though, thankfully.
No, I haven't. Normally, I love giving you guys homework assignments saying,
hey, watch this, we'll talk about it, we'll discuss. Love it, the teacher and me.
However, didn't even, I thought, maybe we'll get to sneak it in on Saturday.
No, no, no, we're going to have to watch tonight.
Sunday is the day to do it. We're just recording before, but we haven't watched these all that,
which we obviously are going to do and talk about. And Connie's album is out.
We're going to get into that more, but we haven't listened.
26 songs, no cursing.
26, let me tell you something.
When I opened that this morning and looked at the album on Apple Music and saw 26 songs,
it made me not want to play one of them.
Like, it was just like, this is just too much.
I don't even want to listen to a single one.
26 is far too many.
And I know we're always complaining about people putting out not enough songs, but 26.
What does he think he is, Taylor Swift?
Give me at like 16, you know?
Yeah.
Listen, 26 is the 26 is just a ton to get through.
And all new stuff.
Very confusing reviews.
People are mad about the no cursing,
but he's done that before in earlier albums that are very popular.
So it's like, does it even really matter?
People just find things to pick apart.
I don't know because I haven't fucking messed to do it.
So I can't give you my personal opinion on it.
As for, he's all that as some raised movie on Netflix.
Also mixed reviews, which is,
I think that people are going to shit on her.
no matter what she does,
they're going to find a reason to hate it.
I actually have seen not many bad things about Addison herself.
I've just seen poor things about the editing and producing
and the budget of the film,
but it's a Netflix rom-com type deal.
It's like these people have never watched a Chisley-Mood
or all the boys before.
It's like they don't know what they're watching
and not why they're critical.
And I also don't know why we thought
he's all that starring Addison Ray
was going to be like a critically acclaimed movie,
like a box office.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, we knew that this would be the reaction to this movie.
There's no way it wasn't.
And on top of that...
So my tell me it making uncomfortable, so we can be uncomfortable.
I didn't notice it until you just said that.
But you can put it down a little bit farther.
He...
No, but I'm saying, like, the movie...
I'm pretty sure they made the movie first
and then sold it to Netflix.
Like Netflix picked it up because Netflix is smart
and they're like, well, Addison Ray is going to get a ton of fucking eyeball.
Yeah.
Like, so I think like the movie might perhaps look a little low budget and that's what people
are saying because they, I think they made it first and then Netflix came in.
I could be wrong about that, but I'm pretty sure like it was like they made the movie.
It was like, oh, where's it going to be?
Where is it going to be?
And then Addison Wray like posted like, ah, it's going to be on Netflix.
I think that is what happens.
You know?
So what do we think that this was going to be an Academy Award winning movie?
No, not even close.
And I'm, I know I'm going to.
I know I'm going to enjoy it.
Yeah, I'm sure we're going to have a good time watching it.
And because you also know what?
I do love Taylor B. Canaan.
Yeah, you do. He's a cutie.
I do love Tanner B Cannon.
I feel like we're going to be pleasantly surprised.
Like, I think we're going to be the outliers for like, wasn't that bad.
Yeah.
And I'm just so in the mindset right now to like watch a movie like that.
Yeah.
You know?
I'm also, see, this is what sucks when we record on Sundays early.
And then all the shit that's happening after Sunday, like the Jake Paul fight tonight.
I'm fucking pumped for.
that because Tommy Fury is also fighting.
I'm honestly more excited to watch Tommy Fury
fight, I think. I'm
just like, we can't even talk about it right now,
but you guys know what's happening. Yeah.
And sad Molly May couldn't come. I know, she couldn't
be there. It's on her stories.
So sad. I would have
really, really, I mean, that's
price of admission right there.
To pay for the fight and to watch
Molly Mae rings out. Oh, my
God, and she probably had the best outfit.
She's got the best style.
She's the new creative director of Greenwood thing.
Good for her.
She deserves that.
She's 22.
What a, what a, what a, legend.
Oh, side note.
I booked the wrong flights of Martha's.
Oh, yeah.
So we made it, we made a TikTok.
Just a complete wrong weekends.
We made a TikTok on, this week on the Chicks in the office TikTok.
You can go watch it.
It was like one of those things where it's like you do your astrological sign and then your
strength and your weakness.
So Franz's Virgo, uh, weakness.
always wanting to be right strength always always being right mine was just weakness was just stupid right
so i like i was like i was like i was like i was like okay i don't really know which you gave yourself
no i didn't i didn't necessarily give myself stupid everyone was workshopping and saying all these things
and like the only way to describe it was just stupid like there was just so many it was like oh
can't say words correctly my suggestion was making up your own words yes yes yeah with that's a weak
but also a strength in my opinion anyways anyways joke stupid yeah
So I am trying to check it.
First of all, Thursday night, don't go to sleep till 7.30 a.m.
I was like, I don't know what's wrong with me.
I'm like, I got to flight the next day.
I'm going to stay up all night long and just ride this out.
Barely slept.
I'm trying to check in.
And it's just not coming up.
I'm like, what the hell?
I got to get to the airport.
I got to talk to somebody at the front desk.
Wait, what I need to know, though, is what the person at the front desk said to you.
Like, were they, did they look at you?
Like they were fucking so stupid.
Like being like, ma'am, you picked the wrong day.
Yes.
Because I went to the, you know, the kiosk.
I went there first.
I was like, maybe it's just my phone.
Went to the kiosk.
It was like, you got to talk to somebody.
I go up and like, I tried to check in on my phone before I came.
I went to the kiosk.
She looks and she goes, um, you booked the wrong day, I think.
You have this for next Friday.
I was like, oh, fuck.
I started cackling.
I was like, oh, my God.
And then in my head, I was like, do I just try to turn around?
is this not like when these things are happening I'm like is there a reason I shouldn't get on this
flight like is something going to happen right but then she was like oh we have the same one today
it's like not got to get to john 60 I got on that flight but I was like in that moment I'm like yeah
I'm stupid like that was a stupid yeah I was a stupid yeah though I did the exact same thing like a month
ago when I was leaving the cape I booked the flight for the week after and you didn't tell us
I didn't know I was just like I'm not going to tell people I did that dumb thing
Yeah, because it's embarrassing.
People are like, what hell is wrong with you?
Did you change the Monday flight?
Yes, I did.
But remember when I booked those flights, it was on Tuesday,
and I had came back from, I was a little tipsy.
It was before we did cutting stuff.
And I was like, oh, I'm going to book these flights right now.
So I could see in that state being like, I'm not checking the dates.
I'm just clicking whatever's going.
So.
And I feel like you also booked more expensive flights because you booked Labor Day weekend flights.
And they remember.
I changed the fight and was like, wow, it's way cheaper.
Way cheaper.
That little rascal.
That little rascal where I published aside me.
Roxy, my alternate ego, Roxy.
Roxy like a pooh-o-o-o-o.
All right.
Let's talk about Kanye.
Let's talk about Kanye, okay?
Let's get into the topics.
It's just Kanye.
He dominated the whole weekend from Thursday to now.
There's been some vacation photos of Kendall Jenner
and Corny.
Courtney Kardashian and Italy. They're beautiful. That's all we have to say about it. Yeah, I don't want to say
anything else besides their hotest love. They're living their absolute best lives, but we do have
a great game of trivia. Yes. Very competitive. And we have an awesome interview with you on,
the only, Heidi D'Amilio. Yes. The mother of TikTok. The mother of TikTok. She's amazing. She's
awesome. We had so much fun with that. So fun. So let's get into it. Starting off with Kanye.
We're talking about Kanye, but first, guys,
this podcast is sponsored by Better Help Online Therapy.
Life is full of very stressful moments.
It doesn't matter who you are, what you have.
You can have it all.
You can have nothing.
It's what is so important to take care of is your mental health.
Ria and I are big proponents, big advocates of therapy.
It's great.
You've never done it before.
And a perfect way to ease into it is.
with better help. Better help is a great way to take those first steps. If you want to just really
kind of like customize the therapy around your needs, it's a customized online therapy that offers
video, phone, and even live chat sessions with your therapist. So you don't have to see anyone
on camera if you don't want to. It's much more affordable than in-person therapy. And you can start
communicating with your therapist in under 48 hours. Unload the stressors and get some unbiased feedback.
you'd be pretty surprised at what you might gain from it.
So see if it is for you.
I'm telling you guys,
it's just,
it's something that you should try and you should use better help
because of all the reasons that I just said.
It's customized just for you.
And it's great because if you don't feel comfortable sitting with someone
face-to-face, it's virtual and online because some people can get uncomfortable
with, like, talking to basically a stranger about your issues,
but you can do it online and it makes it feel like,
Sometimes even just going to therapy
Yeah.
Makes people can make you stressed out.
Like having to get there.
You're overthinking and you can't say it the whole time.
And they're like, oh, I got to go to this place and I'm not going to go.
Whatever.
All you got to do is open your phone, computer, whatever it is, and you are good to go.

So this weekend revolved around Kanye West starting from Thursday night until Sunday.
Thursday night, he had this live performance where a lot of shit happened.
A lot of shit happened.
Kim Kardashian walked out wearing a dress.
People assume now that they are possibly getting back together, which last episode, no, they're not.
I mean.
So they say that they're not reconciled.
It's so confusing because last Thursday's episode or on Friday when it came
out. We talked about how people thought they were getting back together and we're like,
there's no way. But then she gets on stage with a wedding dress, they're holding hands.
People are so confused on what's going on between the two of them. What does it symbolize?
There was so much going on that once again, we can't keep up with Kanye. The one thing
that Kim, I think, has always really respected about Kanye is his artistic vision. Like, I just
think, Kim, I really do. I know. I always looked at Kanye. I'm such an artist.
and a creative soul that like if he came to her with this idea, she wasn't going to say no.
No.
You know, like she's going to help him.
No, but he also lit himself on fire.
I did say that I did see the, so People Magazine wrote the recreation of their 2014 wedding was purely metaphorical and a sign that the former couple, former couple has love for each other, but only his co-parents.
A source says they have come a long way since Kim filed for divorce.
It's taking them months to get to this point.
Kim is happy that they get along and that things are amicable.
But look, put it on the dress and, like, seeing the pictures,
Connie was smiling ear to hear, never seen him smile like that.
That's got to stir up some emotions.
Of course it's got to stir up emotion.
Seeing the love of your life, who's now your ex back on a wedding dress,
giving you all those emotions, especially this also, this album title revolving around his mother.
who he, you know, has talked about many of times.
It's very emotional for him.
And, friend, when you texted on Friday morning, you were like,
oh, well, our podcast makes no sense now because Kanye lit himself on fire last night.
I thought you were like, Kanye, like, got himself in trouble last night.
And when you're like, he legitimately.
I was so confused.
I was like, oh, what did Kanye do now?
And then I looked at it.
I was like, oh, wait, he actually lit himself on fire.
That was a real, yeah, that was a real no.
You know, it wasn't like he said something or like.
No, it was like straight up, lit himself on fire.
I wouldn't love to light myself on fire and survive.
To be a person who can light yourself on fire and walk out of it, fucking off.
I don't think so.
Like, why?
Why would that be fun?
You'd probably be like.
No, visually.
If you knew you were getting out of it.
Yeah.
But I'd still be worried like I'm going to get burned.
There's always a risk that you won't get out of it.
Yeah.
It's like the movie just burned.
You know the movie now you see.
me? Yes. You know the
tank scene? Yes, yes.
And they said that she couldn't
get it. She couldn't actually get out.
And she was actually panicking. Yeah.
That's scary, but dedication to the art.
It is very scary. And Connie clearly has dedication.
He put this whole thing
so it was like, this setting himself on fire,
the rebirth, he's just yay now. He's marrying Kim again.
But then he also had this,
you know, he had his Chicago,
like the house and he stood on the porch of the house.
North was in it at some moments.
And then he came out with DeBaby and Marilyn Manson,
who are two controversial figures, one might say.
And that's where he lost a lot of people.
It was like, okay, well, respect your vision.
But like, DeBee, who, you know, everyone is pretty out on these days.
And Marilyn Manson, who is like,
allegedly but definitely a rapist so yeah um were you was the rumor about maryland manson
cutting out his ribs to suck his own dick did that go around your school when you were younger
yeah but yes but that was like that was like a that was like a national thing that was a
world yeah yeah that was just like a thing that was just like a story that was just double-checking
everyone heard that no one absolutely but he they came out and then there was a weird he like posted um conia posted
screenshots of a of text that he wasn't he couldn't put the album out without the baby's verse
on jail uh but to baby's manager wasn't letting it happen and so connie was like well i'm not
putting out the album without it he's my boy he's like he's he's the only guy who vocally said
he would vote for me for president like just blow my brains out i can't just like let that go like
But it's also just like, I don't know.
And I'm definitely thinking about it too much because I'm definitely like critically thinking about it too much.
That it's just wild that Kanye still cares about Kanye so much that he's like,
I really don't give a shit any of the things that DeBaby has said that people don't like or maybe they don't like him.
All I care about is that he said he'd vote for me.
It's like forget all the other stuff.
He's good in my book because he said that one thing that he would,
that he would vote for me.
But the album came out anyway.
Apparently without DeBaby's verse is what I've heard.
Jay-Z's on it.
Hey, you know what?
The list of people on this album,
greater than DeBaby.
There's a bazillion people.
Did you see the whole list?
But it's interesting, Noah.
Maybe you would know more than me on this,
but why would, like, there's so many features,
but they're not listed on the album.
That's like a lot of people have done that.
recently like Travis Scott like a lot of people do that I don't know if it's just like a cool
thing to do like I hate it because I want to know which songs to listen to it's kind of fun because
if you just listen through you're like oh like you don't know what you're like guess what it is so
artist featured on danda the weekend arna grande de baby tie doll at conway push a tea the locks
lilyotti roddy rich I don't know what that is vivio foreign playboy cardi uh little baby pop smoke
don't Oliver bori j z little dirk baby keem young
Thug, Travis Scott, Chris Brown,
oh, they put Roddy Rushelphist list twice.
That's a lot of people.
And like I said, when you go to look at the album,
you don't know who's on what song because it doesn't say.
Yeah, that is very confusing.
I'm going to have to, I'm going to listen to it.
It's not like I'm just going to ignore this whole thing.
It's been weeks now.
Also, on top of that.
Just get a lot of time.
It's like two hours.
So listen to the whole thing.
Yeah.
On top of that, Drake said September 3rd,
certified lover boy.
Is that why Kanye dropped it, like,
randomly on a Sunday.
Like, he's like, I got to get it up.
It must have been.
Yeah.
It must have been, but then I'm also confused because why do it randomly on a Sunday,
you know, five days before Drake's album's going to come out because he's going to get
those five days of plays and then everybody's going to go to Drake.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't think.
I guess he just wanted to find.
27 songs is just too much.
It's like if you were like, here's a five-hour movie.
Like, that's just not too much.
It makes you think I don't want to listen to this.
Like Titanic is a great movie, but when people-
Undertaking.
No, no, when people haven't seen it and you're like,
all right, you got to watch Titanic,
but it's like four fucking hours.
Like at this point, I don't want to see Titanic.
Yeah, yeah.
Let's get to the end where they die.
That's the best part.
Of course.
Titanic is a great movie.
And honestly-
I always started off over that point.
I just like to watch them fall in love
and then I turned it off.
You don't like the ending?
Well, I don't like watching them.
I like to watch them fall in love.
And then I go,
then I watch something else.
I mean,
I mean,
I've watched at Pearl Harbor.
Yes.
I don't think so.
It's not like a terrible movie.
It is critically a terrible movie,
but it is a fantastic movie.
And that's another one that is really fucking long.
It's a big undertaking.
It's really long.
Like, it's like three hours long.
But I,
and what's worse is when it's on TV,
sometimes it's like with commercials.
And then it's like five.
You know what the best kind of?
You know what the best kind of?
movies are 90 minutes. I know.
90 to 120 is the sweet spot of movies.
Yeah. And look, some movies have to be longer and I can deal with it.
The Marvel movies, I can handle being long.
The Harry Potter movies, I can handle being long.
But some things...
This is, like, way too long.
Like, if, like, a normal album would be, like, 12 songs and a normal movie, it's like an hour and a half.
This is, like, double that.
Like, 27, like 20 songs would be a long album.
27 is just, like, ridiculous.
one hour and 49 minutes it says it almost seems not that long to listen to the whole thing
but like usually albums are like 45 minutes like totally yeah it's just I don't know and I'm like
what I've listened to I haven't like I'll just say I've listened to like a little more than
half of it there's like one song that I kind of like yeah all right well like we said when we have
multiple hours to just actually pay attention and listen.
We might have to do it in pieces, probably.
I'm going to do it on the plane tomorrow.
We will listen.
But I wonder if this will come to a,
like I wonder if Kanye, whatever, doing these visual shows and whatnot
will stop now that the album's out or if he'll keep doing it.
I feel he likes doing them.
I feel like he's going to go into hiding again.
I think you just go either way.
I think you can go either way.
But now that Drake's coming out of this album on Friday,
which is going to be awesome.
Like I really think Drake's album is going to be so fucking good.
People won't talk about specific songs from Kanye's album as much as they will about
because Drake,
you know you're getting a few of those in there that are going to be just played over and over and over again.
On a quick music note,
because, you know,
we haven't talked about music in a while.
last weekend Lord's new album came out loved it just want to throw that out there I don't know
I love it love I fucking love Lord I think she's so cool I saw her at Coachella years ago and she was like
she's a really good performer and she just has one of those voices yeah that must have been sick
it was really fucking sick it was really fucking sick um but but you know when you love an artist and you just
hope that when you see them live up to the hype or they like sound as good as they do on a
record lord sounds so good live she's fantastic and the album is very cool i like i like the album a lot
just wanted to that's what i've been listening to and also uh halsey halsey had an album come out too
yes i did have not listened to that was this weekend right yeah i just had like taylor swift
was like raving about it but i haven't listened to it yeah yeah i'm about a week delayed which is
why I'm trying, like, Lord's album came out two Fridays ago.
We'll get to this weekend next weekend.
Yeah, exactly.
We're just on a slight delay here, on a slight delay.
Don't worry, you guys.
Summer's almost over.
Yeah, we're going to fully be back in the swing of things in,
honestly, one weekend, which is super depressing.
But anyway, let's get into trivia.
We have a great game of trivia coming up,
but first got to tell you about,
my mattress. I truly love my Helix sleep mattress so much that when I am gone on the weekends
and I get back to my apartment, it's my favorite thing. When I know that I am going home and getting
on my mattress and cozying up and getting my blankets and it's just incredible because the mattress is so
great that you don't have to worry about any other like putting anything else on your mattress.
You know sometimes people supplement if they put padding or different things to like make their
mattress better. You don't have to do it with Helix because the mattress is already so fantastic
that it's just, it's just a dream. I have the king's size. Joe loves it as well. It's our favorite
mattress by far because it's so easy to match it to how you sleep. The Helix sleep has a quiz that
takes just two minutes to complete and matches your body type and sleep preferences to the perfect
mattress for you. So why would you buy a mattress that's made for someone else? With Helix, you're
mattress that you know will be perfect for the way you sleep. Everybody's unique. You know,
you want soft, medium, firm. Maybe you toss and turn, maybe you sleep on your back or your stomach or
your side. They take all that into consideration. I have the midnight lux mattress. That's the one I
have. It is fantastic. If you were like me, who kind of sleeps on their side, likes a medium,
firm mattress. That's the one to go with. It is great. They just, they take into consideration if you
sleep hot or cold. Amazing. So like I said, I took the quiz. I was matched with the Midnight Lux.
It's just, it's such an upgrade from any mattress.
Honestly, your bed is so comfortable. My bed is so comfortable. And on top of that, I have also
the Helix pillows on the bed. And the pillows just are also so great. It just really completes
it. One of my favorite pillows I've had in a very long time. Right now, Helix is offering up to

after so much. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Beat Ria and Fran. This is game 18. We have two
brand new contestants, Megan and Kelly joining us today. Megan and Kelly have been great sports because
we have changed around this trivia game quite some times in the last week.
Some things getting in the way.
I realized we never said we weren't going to have trivia on Monday.
We just didn't do it.
Yeah, well, we didn't do it last Thursday.
We usually record them on Thursdays.
And we didn't do it last Thursday.
Then we were going to do it Sunday.
Then there was big hurricane talk.
It was kind of a Fugazi hurricane.
But now we're here.
Now we're doing it.
So Megan and Kelly, welcome to the show.
Thank you guys for joining us.
What makes you guys, pop culture experts?
Well, we've been listening to the show for a while.
So most of our pop culture knowledge, I'd say, is from listening to your show.
But we also know a lot about, like, certain movies, music.
We're both big Taylor Swift fans.
She loves Harry Styles.
And we both work for Disney.
So, like, any Disney questions, we hopefully will know, but you never know.
Absolutely love that.
Do you guys want to maybe tell Reinfraint friend why Disney is better than Universal?
Because I know you wrote that in your email.
Oh, yeah.
So in my email to Noah, I literally said, you guys have talked about the...
I'm team, I'm talking about...
No, no, I forgot your team.
Like, I'm listening.
What makes Disney better than Universal?
We're being put on the spot here.
We are.
I mean, it's just in a whole other level when you go to Disney.
The theming is great.
The attractions are great.
The cast members are nice.
Universal, I mean, we have annual passes, so we go a lot, but it's just, like, not the same.
It's not as clean
and it's more similar to like going to like six flags.
Nothing against them.
I love my parks a little trashy.
In a league of its own.
And I don't know when the last time you guys came was,
but it's really fun as adults too.
Epcot drinking around the world.
Yeah, drinking around the world,
the festivals.
It's another experience.
You don't know how much I have been dying to go to Disney and.
Come!
We have tickets for friends and family.
How many times am I going to say we got to go to Disney?
I know.
I don't know.
I will, you know what we're doing it for?
I want to go in the fall.
We're doing it for the fall.
I know, I want to go in the fall.
I don't want to, I, I, I, summer is just, it's too hot.
We'll go in the fall.
Yeah, done.
I mean, here's the thing.
I'm not dead.
I just love the 4D rides at Universal.
Like, I understand the whole.
You have some of those here too at Disney.
Attraction at Disney is, is amazing.
And like, just the feeling when you're there.
We're going to go.
We're going to go in the fall.
We're going to have a beautiful time.
And then I'll, I'll set it in stone.
Please, let us know when you come.
Like,
you guys will have it so much fun
like tell you what to do
I've been in recent years like I've
you know I'm in dying to drink around
Epcot my parents did a trip
when they were out of college to do that
and they still talk about it to this day
we're doing it lock it in drinking around
Epcot
shot we get into the rules yes let us begin
this is Beiria and Fran game
18 we have 15 questions
whoever is the most points at the end
is the winner
to determine who goes
Oh, if you get a question wrong, the other team has an opportunity to steal the point to determine who goes first.
Noah will pick a movie and we will guess the rotten tomato score, whichever team is closest, goes first.
You guys will have two guesses, as will we, but we'll alternate.
So you guys will go first, then us back to you.
And then we'll finish.
And whoever's closest will get to go first.
Noah, what is today's movie?
Today's movie is fired up.
Oh, great movie.
And I think I know the score of it.
Great movie.
It can't be another 69% can it?
No.
You guys go first.
I'm going to go 75.

24? You said go lower than 17
24?
24
Are you joking?
What?
That just pisses.
me off. No, not you. It's 24%. Why? Why did that piss you off? Because it's better than couples
retreat. Oh. But there's a million movies. Wait, why did you get mad at me when I said 10?
Because I thought it was going to, because I would say low and 17, if you go 15 and below her and below.
That's what I did. Okay, never mind, never mind. My wait. So 24. No, no, I apologize because
in my. Did you mean to say I should go higher than 17? No, no. In my head. Oh, my God.

All right, everyone. We are here with a very special guest. You guys know her from TikTok,
Heidi D'Milio. Hi. I sounded like a game show house there. I know, I know. We're very excited to
have you, Heidi. Now, how in this part of your life now, like, as Ria just said, throws TikTok out there.
Is that ever going to feel normal or is that just like, this is so ridiculous?
No, it doesn't because I'm old enough to have lived many lives at this point.
And to be known as that is, it's actually funny.
But it doesn't, I mean, it is what it is.
It's, you know, it's fun.
So I'm not going to be mad at it.
Yeah.
I mean, you're like TikTok's first family.
It's like the, you know what I'm saying?
You're the first mom of TikTok.
The first lady of TikTok.
Yes, the first lady.
The first mom.
I don't know where I called that one out.
The first lady.
But obviously you guys are crushing it.
We all know that.
But I kind of want to know what like the family dynamic was before all of this happened.
Because you guys post a lot of home videos.
I feel like you guys were always recording each other.
How did you guys know?
How did you know?
So, well, funny.
story about me recording everything is that since the girls were born, I was recording everything.
And Mark would say, you're going to spend half your life recording it and the other half watching it.
Be in it. Enjoy it. Let me tell you who's the first one. Hey, remember that video when Charlie,
or Dixie was three and we went to Disney? I'm like, yeah, I know exactly. And I have it and I'm going
to give it to you. So who, you know, he's definitely, I don't know if he's apologized,
but he's like, all right, all right, you were right. It was good that you were video. I just always love,
I also, I'm from Louisiana, so I didn't live around my family. So I was recording it and then I would
make copies and send to them. That was like before phones were what they are now. But because I didn't
want them. My whole family lives near each other in Louisiana. And I was,
the only one that didn't and I didn't want them to miss out on my kids being little on all the
milestones. So that's that was the main reason. And then I just love watching the old videos.
And I even I would even then like record and like a month later watch them and would be like,
oh my God. That was like they were so little. Honestly, I love that because my, um, sorry, go ahead.
No, I just love having those memories.
And my mom always did a really good job of taking photos.
And we had, well, tons of slides.
They were like slide projector.
So that was the whole thing.
We grew up doing that, watching that.
And I wanted to give that to my kids.
Yeah, I feel like family videos are really important.
And I think it's a good thing you did it.
My parents did the same exact thing.
And we look back on the videos.
Love watching them.
Oh, we love watching.
You love watching yourself.
almost because you never it's hard to put into words but you didn't experience yourself it doesn't
make sense but watching it back you get to see like how you acted but i love these videos you guys post
and then it seems like you've always been kind of i don't know if tech savvy's the word but like
you've just been in the know on how to like use technology i mean we were so when mark
mark was always been an entrepreneur and he lived in a time
trying to grow a business where there wasn't social media.
And so when it happened, he was an early adopter.
And then again, living far from my family, social media kept us like on the daily in the
know.
You know, sometimes we couldn't jump on the phone and be like, oh, let me tell you about
my day.
And that made it a lot easier.
And visually, they got to see it and kind of experience because we live in New York
City and Mark and I.
So they got to see that our lives.
on the daily when it was a time where I wasn't with them.
So we were always just on it and then, you know, just new apps and checking it out.
And also like, who wants to be like, oh, I don't know what that is.
Like, I didn't want to be that person.
I was like, I wanted to be in the know.
I want to see what's going on.
There's definitely, you know, it felt very much it's a thing and it's not going anywhere.
So let's embrace it.
Absolutely.
Definitely. And now, you know, Charlie and Dixie are two of the biggest internet you want to call it stars that there is right now. So looking back and seeing those old videos and from compared to what's going on now because they're still very young. They need, you know, they still need their parents. So people kind of forget that. And you think when you see famous people, you kind of forget the fact that they have families and like parents and like have to report to people or talk to people. For you and Mark, how has.
parenting had to transition while they have kind of reached this level of fame?
I mean, we're parents first.
Yeah.
I mean, you know, before all of this, we always had a fun element to everything we did.
Like, that was just kind of, it just kind of happened.
Like, there's always microphones and music and instruments.
And there's always something going on.
like who who wanted to steal the mic the most i am the designated backup dancer that's my thing
i'm up there don't put me on the mic but so they've grown up with that and we just always had
a really fun time and with that we were still always parents first like we're not your friends
like i love my kids i want they're cool kids and i like hanging out with them but they have friends
they don't they need parents so that was always number one
for us forever.
And then this happened.
And it's still the case.
They need parents probably now more than ever.
And I think what's changed is, you know, there's growing up mistakes that they make like any kid.
And the difference is now they're making it in front of millions of eyes.
So we're a little less harsh on them because they're hearing it.
a million times over in their comment section.
So for us, it's more of a conversation and like, you know, what did you learn from it?
I mean, obviously they're getting, they're hard on themselves and each of them.
And then you have the internet coming at them.
And so for us, we're like kind of a soft place to land.
But also when they're hard on themselves, they know, oh, they're almost taking care of it for us.
because for us to then come down on them hard,
it's like how much can a person take, really?
Yeah, you guys are like a support system for them
because at the same time, you know, you move from the East Coast
to the West Coast.
It's quite a big change.
The people are way different.
You're in L.A.
You don't really know who you can trust
and who's your friend at this point.
So you need your family.
You need a support system.
For sure.
And, you know,
It was a slow process.
We were before, like, as they were growing on social media,
there were a lot of things bringing us out here.
So we would come out for whether it was a few days or a week, a couple weeks,
whatever.
So we did that a lot.
And then quarantine happened.
So we were just home.
But there were big projects and campaigns that were, like, had deadlines.
And we needed to be in L.A.
We knew we weren't going to be doing back and forth.
It wasn't safe.
and appropriate at the time.
So we just packed our bags and moved.
And but with that, things were locked down.
And so it was a very slow process because we were all inside and not doing all these things
and going in all different directions and meeting all these crazy people at one time.
It's been a slow process.
So I think for that it's been good and an easy transition.
But yes, the circle is small and they know.
family first, then we have their back no matter what.
Yeah, and that's always great because they'll, as sisters, you always have each other,
regardless of if you fight or don't fight or you, it's always good to have a sister and
for them to be able to go through all those things together.
How did you, like, can you pinpoint a moment that you and Mark were like, oh, shit,
this is going to be, this could be like a career for.
them like this is because it happens so fast where it's like it almost feels like there couldn't have
been at a moment because I remember when you guys first came into this office it was like you were really
picking up steam it was like Charlie may have had 20 million followers at the time which is like
nothing compared to now yeah um I mean we got social media enough to know you know when it first started
happening. It was like, oh, wow, this is like crazy. But, you know, how it could potentially help
them with future jobs and, you know, potential in that way. And then it did become a point
where we're like, this could be, if they want it, like, they could really work this and have it be
part of a career of them building the passions that they have been working on their whole lives.
Like obviously they didn't come out of the gate saying, I want to be famous on an app that was
never the intention.
The growth on social media has, you know, presented opportunities for them to follow the things
that they love.
And so it was, I don't know if it was like one moment, but it was, you know, when managers and
agents start reaching out and, you know,
want to represent. And we were, we pretty much said no to a lot of brand deals just because
we knew the potential and we didn't want to mess something up down the road by signing a brand deal
that was going to put them in a place where it messed up something else. So we just said no to a lot.
Just let's, let's figure this out first. But yeah, very quickly we realized that it was,
definitely something that could be something they can pursue and make big if they wanted.
And that was always a conversation.
Like, do you want this?
Are you happier doing this today than you were yesterday?
Because if you're not, what's the point?
Do things you love, even if you walk away from it, you know?
Yeah.
But they enjoyed it.
And they saw, you know, like you guys and my kids are probably a little bit younger,
but you're smart. You get it.
A following can bring a lot of opportunities.
So they wanted to go for it.
Yeah. And not only do they have the following now, but you guys do too.
How do, like, how do you and Mark deal with it?
Because I'm sure you guys are getting recognized on the street and people wanting to talk to you.
And you and Mark have your own podcast now and do things on your own.
So how has that transition been for you in a marriage?
I mean, we're pretty much going with the flow in general.
Well, Mark, the big running joke in our family is Mark's like, I've always been famous, just the world didn't know.
Like, in his own mind, she works already there.
That's what I go by too.
So he was probably the most reluctant just because, I don't know, I'm 49.
I've been in mom mode for 20 years.
And just being the, I'm in the background cheerleader kind of thing
was the safe place for me and I was happy there.
So, you know, it's been hard.
Like I'm not good in whenever we have to film things.
And if there's specific things we have to say and I always forget,
my family kills on me, but that's who we are.
And so I'm like, I'm just not good at it.
But I do enjoy it when we're all.
together and doing fun things before all of this and before I was married I was modeling for you know
when I was young and you know there was no social media so I always do think like I wonder what it
would have been had we had social media back then how different it would have been maybe it would have
been worse for me I don't know but but you know so for me even though I'm older like there are I get
a lot of women and my DMs you know asking you know what skincare routine
this and that. So I do feel like there is a place for me. You know, I'm not trying to do what Charlie and Dixie do.
I don't want to be in the spotlight in that way. But if there's a purpose I can serve on a different level,
I love that. And it's been fun. And it's fun for Mark and I. He's kind of like the cheerleader too.
He likes to see what the girls are doing. And he does his own thing. So it's fun, though. It's nice that we're all doing it together in some capacity.
because we're all, we all know what each other is going through when, you know, the wave of hate comes from
random things and on a random day and you have three people that get it more than anybody that love you
more than anybody that are just cheering you on. So it makes it so much easier. Yeah, well, I mean,
there's absolutely a place for you, first of all. Second, you are such a young 49. Like, it's fucking crazy.
You can be 23 years old
It's insane
And also the family dynamic
You mentioned of you guys
All going through it together
It's kind of like
I'm sure you guys
The Kardashians are brought up all the time
It's like
But we always say at least they have each other
Right?
Because they're all day
At all times
Like at least you guys can all
It's not the end of the world
Like when you're the only person
Going through it
I feel like sometimes
It can feel like the end of the world
But with your family
you have the other person being like, no, you're going to get through this.
Yeah.
And it's cool.
There's been times, you know, Mark and I individually have had gotten the wave of hate for one reason or another.
And to hear your kids come in, like, make a special, like, Dixie will drive over here and
be like, you know, why are you going to let them take this from you?
This is fun.
This is our family.
This is what we're doing.
And so kind of like, well, you know, when you hear your own words,
coming out of your kid. That's pretty cool. So it's been, yeah, it's good to have that on those days
because it is not easy. Yeah, definitely. And I'm sure you're, you are able to relate to a lot of
people through the show that you're doing now. Like I said, your podcast with Mark the other
D'Amelios. I was looking through some of the episodes and you cover so many different
topics from your relationship to parenting to business to just kind of like what's going on
how do you guys decide what you want to talk about what feels appropriate like are there other
times ever times that it's you guys on your podcast and you know you have two daughters who are
like can you not talk about that on your podcast well well the one thing is they don't listen to
our podcast so they have no idea what we're talking about that many times are sometimes I'm like
Dixie, I hope that was okay
that I brought that up on the podcast.
And I'm like, you heard it, right?
And she's like, yeah, yeah, no, it was fine.
So what specifically?
And she's like, hey, you know, that whole thing?
I'm like, you don't even listen.
She's like, I can't.
I'm sorry.
I need to put it on YouTube.
And I'm like, but they are good.
And we are very respectful.
This is their story to tell.
Like we'll tell some behind the scene stuff,
but nothing that's not sort of.
out there in some capacity.
So, but we're still trying to figure out, like, sometimes we're like, we can do better,
like our podcast.
Like, I don't know.
I feel like it gets tired.
We also get bored easily.
So, like, let's switch it up a little bit.
So we last couple have been a little bit different.
And we want to have more guests.
Like, this is, I've been guests on a few podcasts, and it's so much fun to, like, get another voice
in there and hear what other people are talking about.
thinking about and and just making those connections because this is all new to us. So we're meeting a lot of
people and I'm like, oh, I want to like I want other people to hear this stuff. So you like that side of it.
Yeah. Yeah. You guys should start getting guests. I mean, you guys are very busy. You also have the
D'amilia show coming out on Hulu. I think September 3rd. Yes. What was it like filming that?
Because obviously people are kind of in tune with your guys' lives for, for
what you put out there, but this is like in your home at all times.
Yes.
I was, I was super surprised how smooth it was.
I mean, it's not a reality show, so it's not necessarily set up in a way where
they're like cameras are rolling nonstop and waiting for that hiccup to like,
oh, look at this.
It's not, it's very much a documentary series.
So there's there were things, you know, they would look at our calendar and, okay, this is, there was like a photo shoot going on today.
So we're going to follow that and the ups and downs of, you know, all of that.
And just the parts of our lives that, you know, are outside of making 15 second videos that and they just would capture that.
So it was very smooth.
And the crew was, I miss the crew so much.
Everybody was so cool and nice and made the whole thing.
I mean, this is our, you know, they were very sensitive to the fact that this is our, this is our life.
This is our house.
This is our emotions.
So they were very kind with how it was all handled.
And that made it so easy.
Yeah.
People are going to love that.
And it's like, like you said, you're letting people into your safe space kind of, which I think people are excited to watch.
I'm curious about when you guys, obviously there's a lot of drama in the TikTok world.
We all see that.
What's it like when Charlie or Dixie, they get into like an argument with another TikTok
person or whatever it may be?
But then later on, they become friends with them.
Do you hold grudges?
Like as a parent, are you like, how do I feel about this person?
Because I know with my parents, when I tell them somebody does something wrong.
to me. Oh my God. It's like the end of the world. And then if it's okay again, I have to explain to
them, it's okay. And they're like, well, what do you mean? We just, we started to hate them. And I'm
like, well, we got to reverse it. Yeah, I'm totally on your mom. That's pretty much. That is really hard.
My kids teach me a lot and about forgiveness and all that. I'm getting better. I am not great.
have definitely
made some
efforts to
show to certain people that I am
trying. They're young and they're growing
and I should
be there to be a help and not to
but don't cross me twice.
Honestly, I respect your answer
because like I said, my parents are the same exact way
so I get it. But you're willing
like you said, they're young, you're willing to
maybe... I actually see a lot of similarities
possibly between your dad and Mark.
Oh my God. Between the whole family.
It's insane.
But I feel like it's like you will forgive,
but you're not going to forget what they did
because if they do it a second time, it's done.
Yeah, it's bad.
Yeah. I know. And my kids are like,
Mom, so I've gotten better
because I never want to put them in a bad situation.
But there are certain people that they know, like don't even...
No.
And that door has closed.
We're not opening out again.
Filming this show,
did you guys feel any pressure
to maybe share more?
Like you said, it's not a reality show.
You know, it's not like
giving you that dramatic cut
of these crazy things that are, you know,
more of like the drama side of things.
We're seeing more like your day-to-day life
and what you guys are going through.
Did you feel a pressure to maybe fill that reality show space?
because the public, there's been such a call for like,
ooh, there need, you know, Kardashians are ending.
There needs to be a new Kardashians.
It's going to be the Dameleos.
And kind of people thinking like, okay, no, that's not what this is.
That's not what's happening.
Yeah.
I mean, no, we didn't think of, okay, how we're going to fill that dramatic void.
Yeah.
I think, I mean, life is coming at us at warp speed and you see what that looks like.
the highs and lows and lows and it's just like it's just what happens and I think uh I can't say too
much but I just feel like we're going to be surprised I'll say that people are going to be surprised at
the roller coaster of it all that's that's a great description that's a great tease no no we love
the roller coaster and exactly and we also love you know we love good teas
and we're very excited to watch.
And you, and people also are very interested in, you know, your relationship, like you said,
you've been married a long time, you have stayed married, you have these beautiful children.
What dating and relationship advice to you, do you give your girls slash can you also give to us?
Um, oh, this is good.
It's been a long time since I dated, but, um, well, I know, I will say this.
Obviously, I had relationships before I met Mark.
We didn't meet until I was 25.
And first of all, I was not looking for a relationship.
Neither one of us were.
And all of a sudden, I was like, okay, he's the one.
This was going to be like the hot girl summer.
And here I am in a relationship.
But I don't know.
I just feel like I felt like I was in the right place too.
I feel like you have to be where you, like in your own shoes, like, know who you are and what you're about.
Because I didn't, I knew that at that time when I met him.
Had I met him at a different time, I don't know if it would have worked the same.
So I feel like always working on yourself and being, you know, it's, as you know, like, you're feeling insecure or not sure.
am I doing the right thing and just like doing your best every day.
We're doing things that you love every day.
I just feel like it brings on that good energy around you.
And it just like worked.
I don't know.
But I would say don't settle.
Don't ever ever settle.
When you have that doubt,
just got to like walk away from it.
Don't be stuck in something.
I have like life experience.
I have friends that were in relationships and marriages that I'm looking at it.
And like they should have never gotten.
married. And I think I've had a lot of friends that are divorced and said, I knew when I
walked down the aisle, it wasn't going to work. And just walk, turn around and walk back.
It's just not worth it. It's just not worth it. So, but I don't know, just that's probably
my major things, I would say. And don't ignore red flags. Do not ignore red flags. Some people don't want
to be by themselves. So they're like, all right, well, I'll deal with that. Like, no, don't.
It's not worth it.
Be alone and grow on your own.
It all come around.
Love that.
I feel inspired.
I know.
That was great.
That was great.
And then I do want to say, because this and, you know, obviously we got Dave here who
loves Dixie and always talks about how much he's a Dixie Stan.
But the way he always butchers the last name is, and I did see Mark on an episode that
you guys did recently on your podcast about like how.
he really says your name.
Are we all saying your last name wrong?
Can you say it right?
No, Mark just told me recently I don't say it right, but neither is he.
Yeah.
So I don't know.
I think it's supposed to be Demelio.
Yeah.
I say demilio.
Like, I know.
And then he'll say, no, it's like this and then says it like me.
So it's just one of those.
You're like open.
However you'd like to say.
saying. Yes. Yes. It's everybody knows what we're saying when we, when we try and say it.
Yeah. Like, you know what I mean. Yes. Definitely. Well, Heidi, thank you so much for coming and joining us. And everyone can listen to your podcast. The other, Demelios. There we go.
That was really good. I think that's it. Well, we got two Italian chicks on this, on this podcast. So we should be able to get it right.
You can listen to that podcast that Heidi and Mark do together.
And stay tuned September 3rd for the D'Amlio show.
Coming to Hulu.
So excited to watch.
Thank you so much, Heidi.
Thank you, Heidi.
Thank you all so much for having me.
I appreciate it.
I was a little like, why are they, like you guys tend to have a younger crowd.
So I felt honored that I was like, oh, they couldn't get Dixie and Charlie.
So they're saying.
No, no, no, no.
We love you.
I'm like such a big fan of your Instagram.
I'm not even joking.
And we're just so, like, truly so fascinated by how everything works that like sometimes I'm like, I'd rather talk to Heidi then.
You're talking to Dixie?
The inside speech.
Yeah, exactly.
Exactly.
All right.
Well, I'll come back on after the show comes out and then we can dig a little deeper.
Perfect.
Please do.
Thank you so much.
Thank you, Heidi.
Thank you, guys.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
All right, that wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office.
We hope you guys enjoy trivia.
and Heidi D'Amaleo, a queen.
