Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. This is state of emergency. What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Monday. I feel like my voice isn't all there. I'm going to be honest.
Starting point is 00:00:31 As soon as I was saying that, it just doesn't feel like it's coming out right. I, you're preaching the choir, so I don't have a voice. I actually sounded a lot better than I did yesterday. So that's probably for the best. But yeah, no, I'm, I'm fried. I got nothing. Is it from the Harry concert? The whole weekend, it's from the Harry concert.
Starting point is 00:00:58 It's from multiple birthday parties on Saturday. mostly hairy when it starts at the strain like when I start when the weekend starts with me like screaming and then like doesn't really end it's uh yeah I'm I'm I'm toast so usually I feel like once once the warm weather hits then the voices start being lost somehow this weekend was beautiful the weather was glorious so nice too hot like what oh my God it was miserable I second that too hot too hot. You know it was too hot? 95 degrees in the city was gross on Saturday. Oh, I didn't really feel too gross. I was outside. I didn't really feel that gross. I thought it felt nice to feel some heat on my bones. Like, you like, you like that level of hot. It was too hot, in my opinion. Well, I thought
Starting point is 00:01:55 it was beautiful. I think that the weather is now going to start getting really nice. Memorial Day weekend is coming up, which means summer is officially arriving and not really much else going on. I know. I know. It's been a, we're starting to get to the slow times, the summer, where everyone just kind of like relaxes a bit. Right. They're like, it's summer. We just want to enjoy the really, really hot weather. Besides, obviously the Kardashian wedding, which we will get to. But before we get into all that, Nothing better than talking about your student loans on Monday morning. You know Ernest. We've talked about them many times before.

Starting point is 00:04:12 Haley and Haley Kikiko confirmed their relationship in Haley's new music video and all over Instagram. So let's get into it starting off with Harry Siles' new album. Starting point is 00:05:53 I'm wearing my sweatshirt. Very cool. Yep. How are the merch lines to get that? Oh. Oh. We, G and I hit the jackpot because when we got there, the doors opened, I think, around six. We got there around seven walking around the lines looped around the entire arena.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Like, they, they like doubled up. like that's how many people were in line it was nuts so we were like all right we're not doing this like this is insane so we waited a little while and then he wanted nine and then like around 830 we were like oh let's just go look to see like what the deal is and we went and there wasn't really a big line there was like 10 people in front of us but like everything was gone everything they they ran out of everything and just they had one t-shirt left which we were like all right fuck it we'll buy the we'll buy the one t-shirt we get to like the third person in line and this man rolls up with like three boxes of like the last number of sweatshirts they were all mediums that's all they had but we were like this great
Starting point is 00:07:10 amazing we like lucked out so much that they had the black the black harry's house hoodies so So you got these, the like they got mustard yellow t-shirt with the with the flower pot thing that he's got going on. And then I got a hat as well, but I got that for Joe because he wanted a, he wanted a hairy-siles hat. Well, you got lucky. I feel like if you went and you had nothing to speak for it, you'd be very upset. You're a big merch gal. So I'm not. I wasn't wearing merch on Monday morning.
Starting point is 00:07:46 I'd be so sad. Thank God. It's my go-joo. Thank God. Thank God. I'm upset that I don't have any merch, but that's okay. I'll get past it. As for-
Starting point is 00:07:55 He's doing a bunch of pop-up shops, merch pop-up shops. There's one in New York. Those are going to be like 10 blocks long, probably. Yeah. I can't do that. I honestly, I can't. No. Like, I love Harry, but I just can't commit to standing on that long of the line for
Starting point is 00:08:12 March. Just can't do it. Yeah. You can order it online. probably show up. Yeah, they'll show up in September. So what do we think of the album? I like the album.
Starting point is 00:08:27 I like the album a lot. I've probably listened to it now. Start to finish like realistically seven times not counting the concert. So I'm listening to it a lot. My opinions have been changing. I think hearing it live is always a different feeling too. Like he did the same thing as the fine line show where he started and ended the whole album.
Starting point is 00:09:00 Quick album. Like it was like 45 minutes. He chatted in between. So there was like some of these thinking a lot of the people who helped make the album, a lot of people in the crowd, chatting with everyone. And then played, you know, some of the ones that we all know. But start to finish, went through the whole thing. and yeah, I mean, I realize that I'm just not that critical when it comes to, like, I don't know if it's
Starting point is 00:09:35 necessarily pop music or if it's just like the people that I really like. I guess it's probably more just the people that I really like that I just like, that I just, like, I got nothing bad to say. I didn't love the album, but I liked it. Yeah. Oh, tomato, tomato, tomato. That's fine. That's just me being honest.
Starting point is 00:10:05 And people can say that they just like everything that their favorite artists put out just because it's their favorite artist. I like it, but I don't love it by any means. You know what Harry Sell should say to you? Too bad. What? Yeah. I realize I'm really just not a big pop music fan. I think that's what it comes down to.
Starting point is 00:10:31 But also, I just think you're more critical, like you're just more critical of music in general, I think. Like you, you know, like I just like specific music, I think. If it doesn't hit me in my soul. If it doesn't hit me in my soul. If it doesn't hit me in my soul. soul than for some then I just like it right like I just liked it and I I didn't love it I liked it and I was texting you guys how many times have you listened three times okay and you guys were
Starting point is 00:11:07 asking me on on Friday and I was like I can't tell them what I think I got to listen to it a couple more times because I'm not loving it um and like I said it's not that I don't like it because that people are going to take him, like, you didn't like Harry's album. It's not that I don't like it. I just don't love it. Nothing hit me in my soul like fine line did or even Harry's first album. Like there was no and Noah, I know we're going to go with this because I said there was no she. Like there was no song that really fucking hit me in my core. And you said that's like saying there's no gravity on every John Mayer album, which is fine. But that's none of the. None of the. these songs really people will be like matilda yes i really like that song but none of them really fucking got me like when i listen to she i lose myself i i completely like nothing else exists in the world and i'm just listening to that song none of those songs do it for me like that none and i like a bunch of them but i'm not obsessed with it i'm not it's not I really like, it's a different sound than the other two albums.
Starting point is 00:12:25 And both of those albums were different as well. This would be my least favorite sound out of his three albums. Yeah, that's fair. It's definitely like more produced, it sounds like. Like the first album was like almost acoustic-y. And then I just feel like it's getting more and more produced. But I liked it a lot. Way more like, I guess like maybe like,
Starting point is 00:12:51 80s and pop that felt like in some moments but yeah i guess like you it's just the same thing it's what we were saying you can't expect every album to sound the same like there's some albums there's some john mayor albums that noah doesn't necessarily he likes them but he doesn't love him i wasn't even lying that the last album i didn't even like that you put out yeah yeah you didn't right the last like that's no continuous sometimes it just happens yeah but also that's different. No, it's not really that different. I was going to say that, like, everyone seems to like this Harry album, so it's tougher
Starting point is 00:13:27 to be like, I don't love it. Well, it was, it was critically, like, not that this really matters, like, at all, but it was critically very well received. Like, got really good reviews. And that's great. Not that that really matters. But he hasn't really had one that hasn't been.
Starting point is 00:13:48 What are your favorite songs? I like sorry he did say at the show that he was like I really uh sounds like you guys really liked this one thank God because I think he was nervous about this one because it is different go ahead I liked a couple of them a lot but I just I don't know I just don't see myself like going out of my way to listen to this album over and over again like I like I I liked grape juice. I like daylight, music for a sushi restaurant.
Starting point is 00:14:29 Matilda's sad, but I liked it. Late night talking, I like... I feel like Satellite Live could be like the she of the album. Satellite Live was really good.
Starting point is 00:14:46 I tried to make satellite the she of the album. I did. I close my eyes. I don't know. Maybe I'm holding on too tight to the other album. But I really love his first album too. So it's like,
Starting point is 00:15:02 if I was just like, like, because you know how I, with Taylor Swift like I'm like 1989. If I was just like, like, I only like fine line, then I would be like, all right, you're just being,
Starting point is 00:15:14 you just like fine line. But I really like his first album too. Yeah. So I, I don't know. I would love a correct definition of the sounds. I think you were just set up for this reaction with anything you put out. I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:15:34 That's the thing, though, because it's like... Because I do think, like, you can't separate, you can't separate listening to this album as its own thing without comparing it to fine line. No, I can. And I'm telling you I was. I don't like... Um, like just, like, I don't think I like that kind of me. Like, I don't think I like just like simple pop music.
Starting point is 00:16:01 But you, you like Bieber, don't you? I'm not obsessed with Bieber. I like a lot of songs from purpose. And, but when he puts out a new song, I don't go out of my way to listen to it over and over again. Like, I could see why people like it. because it's catchy, but I don't listen to that music on my spare time. It's hard to explain because it's not that I don't like,
Starting point is 00:16:33 it's not that I hate pop music, obviously, but I don't listen to pop music when I'm alone. I know John Maris said this, though, because people are always, like, people do love continuing more than anything. And he's like, I could, and I think Kanye has said this, where he's like, I could just make everyone's favorite album over and over, but like I want to make new stuff. Like I don't want to just keep making the same thing.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Yeah, which I understand. Harry's got to do his thing. He's got to explore different avenues. This type of music is not the music I would go out of my way to listen to when I'm alone. If I hear it on the radio, then yes. If I hear it, you know what I mean? Like there's different, I think that's the kind of music that this is. I really like my top, as of right now, I think my top three are music for a sushi restaurant, satellite, and cinema.
Starting point is 00:17:35 Oh, I like cinema too. That's what I'm saying. I like the songs. Yeah, I mean, you just named like six songs and said you liked all them. I like them. I like them. I just don't love that. Yeah. music first sushi restaurant is a great first song it's groovy as hell i like it a lot dancing around as now joe's playing it out in the other room i mean he just can't be doing that you're going to get me in trouble copyright laws okay he's turned it off yeah i i i don't know i i don't want people to think that i'm being cynical about it i just i like it Yeah. I'm just not obsessed with it.
Starting point is 00:18:24 That's fine. Yeah. That's fine. And personally, like, I would also say, like, I really, really like it. And I've been listening to a lot. I'm going to continue to listen to it a lot. It's probably going to be on repeat for me. But, like, that first initial listen, I was, like, this is different.
Starting point is 00:18:46 And I've grown. I'm also just a person that, like, when I play something, lot. I'm going to end up. I'm going to end up really liking it. But it was definitely different. But it was, it was, I really enjoyed it. I think like music or sushi restaurant just started off. Got me very excited because it's like a, that is like a big production, big performance sound. And there isn't really another song that is like that on the album. Like he came out hot. The only song that I actually just don't like is a little freak. Like, I skip that every time where it comes on.
Starting point is 00:19:26 I'm not a really big fan of Matilda either. I kind of skip that. Oh, I like Matilda. I don't know if I've listened to that since I listened through. Sneaky love of the sneaky love of my life is kind of high up there for me. It's a good one. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:45 What I picked up from this album is Harry likes drugs. and sex. Yeah. Yeah. Although I feel like every time he mentioned drugs, he mentioned someone else doing it. True. Well, yeah, that's the point.
Starting point is 00:20:03 It's like always someone else is doing it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's the stories. Should you rate it or no? What would you rate fine line out of 10? Oh, um, a 9.6. Like, I think, like,
Starting point is 00:20:23 like, the only song I don't like on Fine Line and it's not even is treat people with kindness. And it's not even that I don't like it. It's, I don't love it like the rest of them. It's the only song I don't play through. And that's the last song.
Starting point is 00:20:43 So what do you give this album? I mean, oh, Treat People's Kindness isn't the last song. Fine Line's the last song. But that album is just so fucking good. I know every word to every song. Um, like, uh, 7.1. Damn.
Starting point is 00:21:12 Ooh. Ooh. Damn. I'd give Harry's house a 8.7. I don't think 7.1 is that low, though. That's, I like it. I don't love it score. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:27 To 70, 70% is like a like a D. And listen, that's where I lived in school. And we still got by. Yeah. What would you rate it in Ella? Definitely probably in the eights. Yeah. In the eights.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Yeah. Probably like mid-eights, eight six, eight to seven. Interesting. Five. Fisphab. Yeah. Don't come for us, Harry. Harry.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Listen, I'm happy for Harry. I'm always a Harry fan. I like what I like. What did you guys think of what? of what McJagger said that Harry's just kind of like a superficial copy of him and that he doesn't
Starting point is 00:22:17 sound like him or dance like him, he's just like... I mean, that's true that he doesn't sound like him or dance like him, which isn't a problem. Right, and also like are other British artists not just like not allowed to exist. I know. Yeah, I think that like,
Starting point is 00:22:34 obviously there's like a lot of comparisons between him and Mc Jagger, just the way that they like, dance on stage and they're like just their mannerisms. I guess if you're Mc Jagger you've probably spent your entire like a lot of your
Starting point is 00:22:49 older career where you are like cemented as an icon and new artists come around and they get compared to you and in your mind you're just like I'm fucking Mc Jagger nobody's nobody's yeah what he said wasn't as
Starting point is 00:23:06 wasn't as mean as what what his face from Oasis said like recently no it was not he said like that he and Harry
Starting point is 00:23:14 have a very I think what did he say like a light relationship I think he said easy relationship easy relationship so they know each other
Starting point is 00:23:21 it's just like yeah and like is Harry Styles is the caliber of the lead singer of Rolling Stones for the last
Starting point is 00:23:30 bajillion years no but this is what always happens I feel like the generation before you. But like people didn't like the Rolling Stones when they started coming up.
Starting point is 00:23:42 Frank Sinatra's like, these guys suck. So like it doesn't matter. Exactly. Exactly. But it really does seem like everybody has their opinion. Like the older generation when they're asked about, when they're asked about Harry. I bet Paul McCartney would have nothing but kind words. He probably would.
Starting point is 00:24:03 I agree with that. Paul McCartney. and what I love about Paul too is he I feel like he actually likes to do stuff with the younger generation like he actually makes music with with other people you know yeah some of them are just bitter not doing that yeah so well you know what I'm happy for Harry and I'm happy for all his success a lot of Kardashian content this weekend from Courtney's wedding let's get into all of that but first you guys, it's a hectic time, like I said, wedding season. I don't know about you, but this is the start where when I'm scrolling through Instagram
Starting point is 00:24:43 stories on Sunday morning, it's nothing but wedding content. Wedding content from everyone, everyone's getting married, crazy people. The Kardashians are getting married. It's a big weekend. Weddings, graduations, spring sports, and more. We're all busy. So that means you guys need to take a second to chill, relax, enjoy an, ice cold cores light. If you're at a wedding, maybe ask for an ice cold corse light. I'm sure
Starting point is 00:25:12 they have them there. Why wouldn't they? It's the only beer out there that's literally made to chill. That's Coors Light, Mountain Cold Refreshment. When we need a moment, my favorite, I say it every time. My favorite time to have a Coors Light, summer, Friday, weeks over, reached in the fridge, you see those blue mountains, you know, you're about to have a nice crisp Coors Light. So when we need to take a second for ourselves, we've reached for a beer that's made to chill. Get Corzlight delivered straight to your door with your Instagram Instagram, but going to coreslight.com slash chicks. And always celebrate responsibly. This is coming from Coors Marine Company in Golden Colorado.
Starting point is 00:25:48 Cheers. Thank you guys. Thank you guys so much. The world's most refreshing podcast. Yes. This past weekend was the Courtney Kardashian and Travis Barker wedding in Italy. We got all different pictures of outfits of this event. nonstop all weekend.
Starting point is 00:26:07 There was no shortage, actually, of content that came out of this. And I think we need to thank Alabama Barker, who provided everybody with this content on her Instagram story. We got Instagram lives. We got pictures. We got videos. We didn't have to wait long at all to see the wedding. It was all being posted in real time.
Starting point is 00:26:27 You would think that this wedding was happening. They would keep it secret for a little bit as some celebrities do. Not the case. Courtney Kardashian was Instagramming her wedding the day of. We loved it. We loved seeing all of it. But I think we have to dive into, I think we've got to dive into the outfits of this whole affair. Like that's really where my main focus was here, was that I was trying to get a, get a grip on what everyone was wearing.
Starting point is 00:26:53 Yeah, it was all, basically an entire sponsor, Dulc Changabana weekend. and everybody got to go into the vault and pull out all these Dolchingobana looks. There's a lot of mixed feelings about those two. They've been in a lot of controversy in the last few years. So it was like, is this, I mean, they've said nasty things about the Kardashians. So it was an interesting collaboration. Of course, like, I feel as it's an easy choice. when it comes to oh, Italian Oceanside wedding.
Starting point is 00:27:36 It's going to be Dolceangabana. Everybody wore Dolcegaabana all weekend long from the party outfits to the wedding outfits. But yeah, there's obviously a lot of black. That was, I think, going to come with the territory. I mean, Courtney wore white for the wedding, but then changed it to black. So it's like that made sense to me.
Starting point is 00:27:59 I wouldn't expect anything. A lot of very got gothic black old school. A lot of big crosses that everyone was wearing. Sometimes a little lack of cohesion. I felt like maybe the family would have like matched a little bit better. Like everybody kind of went in their own direction, which is fine. You can do that. But it felt like like Kendall and Kylie had similar vibes going. But then like Kim and Chloe were totally doing different things. Chris was totally doing different things. I got to be honest. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:34 I hated majority of the outfits. Hated. And I think there were some. We liked a lot of them, honestly. There were some that I liked. Like, I liked Chloe's Cheetah print dress that she wore. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:52 I thought that Kendall, her outfits I probably likes the most because they weren't so outrageous. I liked what Kylie was wearing a lot. I just wasn't following what Kim was wearing, and I wasn't following what Courtney was wearing. I was very happy Courtney wore white for her wedding,
Starting point is 00:29:17 but she wore lingerie as her wedding dress. I just find that fits her right now. That's her theme. I'm just like, why couldn't that be like more of like a reception dress, right? Like you wear something else for your wedding and then that's the dress you change into and then you change into the black. I didn't love it. I thought the veil was stunning.
Starting point is 00:29:42 I thought the pictures of her from the back were gorgeous. Like the veil was just breathtaking, but the dress didn't do it for me at all. I think for guys, Devin Booker was dressed the best. I think he was just very cool. He had some cool outfits all weekend, very classic, nothing crazy. I hated MGK suit. It's like it's not your wedding. I was blown away by some of the outfits I was seeing.
Starting point is 00:30:14 Yeah, everybody really went and went in different directions for sure. I liked Courtney's dress. Just because I felt like, like, is that something I would ever in a million years wear? knew and I certainly wouldn't wear it on my wedding day but like she's the queen of the mini dress these days so like everything she was wearing I just feel like has been mini-sized and I really I did not like the the black mini dress from the day before with the Mary and the blue and the black veil with the dark eye makeup did not like that um just clearly like I don't know. Clearly they were, they had a vision. They went for it. I didn't love a lot of Kim's looks. I did like what she wore the wedding. I loved what Chloe wore the wedding. I think I loved everything Chloe wore, honestly. Curse had some hidden. I liked Chris's mother, you know, mother of the bride outfit as well. Where was Corey Gamble?
Starting point is 00:31:12 I saw that some people think that he might have tested positive for COVID and then that's why he could go. I would like an answer because where the heck was he? But yeah, Devin did look really great. I love that Devin was a part of all this. There was a very cute picture of Devin walking onto the yacht. And Kendall has said in an interview that like Stormy loves Devin. And he's walking on and you can just see like a little bit of Stormy's face. but she's like, like, smiling ear to ear looking at Devin.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Like, she's so excited to see him, which was, which was so cute. And, you know, there was a lot of, like, he's not here. They're not there. People were wondering where Mason was. He wasn't in a lot of pictures. Don't worry. Mason was there. Mason was there.
Starting point is 00:32:05 And then it's like some of the kids got to go. Some kids didn't. I think that's totally fair. Like, North is old enough. And she and Penelope are besties. Like, all of Courtney's kids are there. and the rest of Kim's kids were not there. And like True was not there.
Starting point is 00:32:22 Stormy is basically Kylie's professional photographer now. So she goes everywhere she goes. Just feel like Stormy always gets to go. I'm like, I don't know if she, maybe she's just like the most well-behaved child of all time, but like Stormy gets to go everywhere. And like I don't know if Rob was there or if we just didn't see it.
Starting point is 00:32:43 I feel like he was. I think he just doesn't like to get photographed. Yeah. Or maybe he wasn't. You're probably right. There was this one video of them all walking with the paparazzi and Rain is like, hey man, give us a break. Like leave us alone. Rain looks so cute.
Starting point is 00:33:02 He really did. I loved his outfit. It was so cute. Yeah, I'd like to put Chloe Ward of the wedding, but I didn't love the whole crown thing. Yeah. But I liked the dress. I don't know. It was like every picture that I saw, I was like, what is going on? I understand there was a theme. I think the wedding itself looked beautiful, obviously, but I just wasn't crazy
Starting point is 00:33:24 about what anybody was wearing. But I think I liked Kendall and Kylie's the most. Yeah. I liked Kylie's, like the one that looks like kind of hand-painted. I think she wore that to the wedding. That was really beautiful. I liked the little bridesmaid, the kind of like beige with the rose that like Alabama, Padalpianphe were wearing. Those were, those were really pretty. But yeah, it was, it was a very intimate affair. Bit like Romeo and Juliet vibes from the actual setting, like the red velvet and the altar and the, like, very, like, old school Catholic,
Starting point is 00:34:03 like Italian vibes. Like I saw, like, it's, it made, it definitely made sense. I was trying to think of. I did, like you said, big ups to Alabama for all the content. Kylie was on TikTok a little bit more than she normally is posting, which you love to see. Carl's Kendall, cucumber girl, which is very funny. Very funny.
Starting point is 00:34:28 Sometimes their humor does come out. It doesn't on the show a lot because it just feels like they don't really love doing the show. But sometimes when you see them actually having fun and you're like, that's funny. Like me and cucumber girl is a funny caption for her video. funny. I think that Kim, I loved her outfit that she wore to the reception.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Yeah. It was really cool. North posted a good TikTok from the reception as well. Of course, what would it be without a famous person's Italian wedding if Andrea Boccelli isn't there performing? So he's saying apparently there was an impromptu
Starting point is 00:35:05 MGK buddy Valentine performance. Everybody went nuts when the DJ played all the small things. Mark Hoppus was there with his wife. I didn't feel like it was a massive crowd. I feel like they're, like they said, they're going to have a bigger party in L.A. and they get back as well. You know what was interesting? I wonder if she was there and we just didn't see or if it was just like fucking weird timing and she's vacationing on her yacht. Beyonce was also in
Starting point is 00:35:38 Portofina. And everyone was like, holy shit, she's going to the world. wedding, but we didn't really see any content from Beyonce. So it's kind of flex. I think she just might be there on her own. I don't think Beyonce would be at their wedding. Yeah, like, I think Beyonce, like, might just be taking a yacht out for a little while. And she, and she's, she just so happened to be staying, like, at the same hotel because it's like the nicest hotel. Now, was Megget Fox there or not there? She was there. Okay. I was, I, because I feel like I saw one picture of her. And then all of a sudden, I wasn't seeing much. Okay, now I see her.
Starting point is 00:36:15 Yeah, she was there. Okay. Yep. Yep. It wasn't like, like I said, it wasn't like a, wasn't a really, really crazy guest list.
Starting point is 00:36:24 Very intimate family. Chris walked her down the aisle. And it's like you said, you always forget like this is her first wedding. It's a big deal. This is like the really, I mean, I mean,
Starting point is 00:36:37 first marriage for like third wedding at this point. So she's really rocking up. the amount of weddings, but did you also see that Scott posted on his Instagram story, like from a private jet? He posted a picture out the window and was like, where to? It's like, oh, Scott, sorry, buddy. Yeah, not Italy. Not Italy. We all know that. It's definitely not Italy. Maybe he'll get an invite to the big party in LA. But, no, all in all, it was, it was a lot. Like you said, the going to a jingabana for everything can be very hit or miss.
Starting point is 00:37:17 And there's a lot of black, a lot of black for, for the two of them. They were doing their thing. Travis is pulling the garter off with his mouth. You know, my kids were in front of me. I'd be like, probably not doing that. I don't think they care at this point. They don't care at all. They don't care at all.
Starting point is 00:37:39 I think now it's great stuff. I hope that everybody had, it looked like a beautiful weekend. I'm sure they had an absolutely stunning time. How could you not? You're in Italy, you're on yachts, you're in the best food. Kylie's video of the spaghetti? Oh, the canolis. So good.
Starting point is 00:37:55 It looked so good. So all in all, I think a stunning wedding weekend for them. Not only do I have Norman and Oreo at my house now. we got another dog in the mix. Romeo is Nono's dog and he is now staying with us as well because Nano will be making his way to New York for the summer. But first, we got Romeo with us. So we got three dogs in the house and we want to keep them all happy. And we do that with Jinks. Jinks is clean, modern food and treats designed for dogs by pet parents. We want to make sure our gut health is in check. So you also want to do that for your pets as well. Jinks offers 100% satisfaction guarantee. Your dog deserves healthier food that they actually want to eat and you feel good about giving it to them. So visit thinkjinks.com slash chicks. That's T-H-I-N-R-E-E-S-H-E. K-j-i-N-X.com slash chicks. So no Pete Davidson at the wedding. I think there was a lot of debates on whether or not he would be there, but it was his last SNL. He appeared on the weekend update.
Starting point is 00:39:50 That was it. I just kind of like how he's been one foot out in the door for it feels like sometime. And I'm guessing, you know, that is why he was out there. Kim posted a picture of she had a little P. and Ryan Stone's on her nails at some point. I don't think she had pink nails this weekend, so it may have been from earlier on, but, you know, the grid.
Starting point is 00:40:15 Let's not forget that the grid is blue and pink. Yeah. So I don't know how she's going to post any of these wedding looks. She might not because they don't go with the grid. She may be able to post Courtney from the other day with the blue, but that's it. Yeah, but that's it. So she also posted an Instagram story with like a big collage of all. Pete Davidson's faces and whatnot.
Starting point is 00:40:38 And Pete penned this very nice message to SNL that his friend David posts on his Instagram, same guy that he communicated with Kanye with, since Pete doesn't have his social. But he just, you know, it was a farewell. A farewell to Pete. He thanked everyone. A big final SNL for a lot of people,
Starting point is 00:40:58 Adi Bryant, Kate McKinnon. So I think it was, you know, as far as moments go, like, they all have they're all in the sketches and everything and then pete had his like weekend update moment. Yeah. It's got to be bittersweet. Obviously, it's like he grew up there. So and a lot of great things came from Saturday Night Live for him, I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:41:17 But he's also like, all right, I want to get the fuck out. Like I'm, yeah, I'm over this. I'm with Kim Kardashian. Chris Jenner's probably getting him out of the contract. Like if you think about it, Chris is probably like Pete's time. You're missing all the family events. You couldn't come to the wedding because you had Saturday night. you don't want to be doing this every Saturday of your life.
Starting point is 00:41:37 I was going to say he's at the point, he's at the point now where he's probably like, fuck, working on Saturdays really sucks. Yeah, I mean, I'm sure it does, though.
Starting point is 00:41:48 It's a lot of dedication. Yeah, you're missing a lot of. That is kind of what you're signing up for, though. You certainly are. But when you're 20, it's the fucking greatest thing in the world.
Starting point is 00:42:00 And when you're 28 and you've been doing it for a while and your face, famous as hell now when you're acting in movies and doing all these other things. Maybe it's not as up on the priority list. But he was funny. He was joking like that he always got shit when he first started. Like what is what is what did this kid do to deserve to be on Saturday Night Live? Like he kind of joked and was like, hey, I should be an inspiration.
Starting point is 00:42:28 Like anybody could get on Saturday Night Live. You could be the next Pete Davidson. Like we're just how do I get here? I have no idea. He had a joke about Ariana Grande's. I told Lauren, I proposed to Ariana Grande after two weeks of dating. And Lauren was like, hold on for dear life. Or like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:42:52 He said something along those lines. I forget what exactly the line was. But, you know, he's had a lot of great moments there. And I just think it makes sense. comes to an end. Every, I feel like every few months we hear about him taking some new movie role. Or him potentially leaving Saturday Night Live. So. Right.
Starting point is 00:43:12 Every season. We're finally seeing it. Yeah. I think him and Lauren Michael's relationship is very funny and also really sweet. I feel like Lauren Michaels really looks out for him, even though he's kind of a problem in some ways. Like, he definitely causes some issues for him, but he loves him. He's like, he doesn't even do anything on the.
Starting point is 00:43:32 the show really. So it's not like, it's like this big impact will be felt with him gone. I feel like it'll just be like, yeah, he hasn't even really been doing like a lot of sketches. A lot of stuff is surrounded around him being Pete Davidson. That's what he said, I think. It's just like, yeah, that that's how there is to talk about. But. Right. The joke is like, ha ha, and Pete Davidson. On another note, because I was watching some of it, just so unfunny. Like, I know that we've said this before. this show is so bad like it's so bad crazy how not funny a lot of the things are do you think that people because i i agree i think it's so unfuny do you think that people have grown out of sketch comedy or do you think that they have just gotten no i think that it's like i don't know how involved lord michaels is but like at some point
Starting point is 00:44:23 you don't like have your finger on the pulse of like what's funny when you're like that old and you do like i don't know because like there are sketches that people do it about bar stool that are very funny. But their sketches are like, one of their sketches was what, like, announcing a baseball game. And it was like the least funny thing I've ever seen. Like in black and white. Like most of what I see from them is the least funny shit I've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:44:50 Like, it's mind blowing sometimes when you're watching it. And you're like, who came up with this? Like they sat in a room and they decided on this. I feel like sometimes they're just messing with everyone. They're like, let's see the most absurd shit that we can come up with. That's so unfunny. And let's see if people laugh. I really only, like, you guys know, I enjoy some of it sometimes.
Starting point is 00:45:19 But I really normally only watch the whole show start to finish when it's a host that I really like. Other than that, I don't. But I do, I like the weekend update. I like, I like the weekend update. I think Michael Che is very funny. But he's gone now, right? Is he? Yeah, I thought he announced, or it came out that he's leaving the show.
Starting point is 00:45:42 Michael Chey's leaving. What's her name? Kate McKinnon leaving. 80 Bryant. I just said, Keith McKinand, 80 Bryant. Yeah, no, Michael Chey came out like a while ago, though. I'm not sure if it's now, but he definitely is leaving. But.
Starting point is 00:45:58 You sure? Yeah. I definitely saw that. Kate McKinnon, 80, Brian, and Kyle Mooney leaving the show. I don't... Unless it... Michael Chey on S&M. This was May 13th.
Starting point is 00:46:15 Nope, he did. He did. He's co-anchored. We can update since 2014 also indicated that he'll be leaving the show. He said, I've wanted to leave the past five seasons. Yeah. Yeah. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:46:31 Like, if it's bad now and all the good people are leaving. But it's also like, if he's joked, if he's also wanted to leave since the last five seasons, maybe he's not leaving. I guess, but... He just keeps done doing it. Or with everyone leaving, he's like, I'm going to finally leave.
Starting point is 00:46:46 Yeah. Yeah. With Colin Joseph, just going to do it by himself. So he said, Che went viral in March when he mentioned S&L at a surprise comedy set
Starting point is 00:46:58 in Minneapolis and said, this is my last year. The press took Chez's statement as a matter of fact, so he took to Instagram to clarify that I was joking. Comedy fans,
Starting point is 00:47:10 please stop telling reporters everything you hear at a commie show you're spoiling the trick and then it says speaking to new york times he announced his s and l's future is not as long as his past in other words the end is approaching sometime soon my boss my head has been at leaving for the past five seasons i do think that i've been here longer than i'll be here so that can just mean he's here for like three more years yeah yeah i don't know interesting lord micha lords lord micha lor micha lichael's lord michael's Michael's told the times that this is going to be a year of change regarding the cast as possible. It's possible a lot of things are going to change.
Starting point is 00:47:51 Michael stressed that he doesn't want Che to be a part of that possible change. If I had my way, he'll be here. I don't always get my way. But when you have someone who's the real thing, you want to hold on as long as you can. Interesting. So I feel like that one might be up in the air. Either way, the show. Either way, he's been thinking about leaving for the last five years.
Starting point is 00:48:12 So that's really sense as much as you need to know that he's been debating. Has Harry Styles hosted SNL? I can't remember. Yeah. He did this, he did this season, didn't he? I feel like it's interesting that didn't get him this time for the finale. He was in New York. Like, it seems like it would have all that people just don't care about us now anymore.
Starting point is 00:48:38 Yeah, I don't know. That's interesting. I think it's still like an honor for people to. be asked to be on just because of the name. But then when you watch the show and you see how bad it's become, it's like, oh, who really? Yeah. Like, it's still an honor, but also, I don't know if people are dying for it. For sure.

Starting point is 00:50:20 On Friday, Haley Kiyogo's new song came out. It's called For the Girls. And in the music video, she directed it. She's playing the Nossarette. You know, it's kind of like a spoof on the show. And it's all ladies. And she's the lead. And it ends with Beckettilli.
Starting point is 00:50:41 So fans all freaked out that this was a confirmation of their relationship. I think that, you know, scrubbing in fans have been waiting for this moment for a long time because Becca has spoken about, you know, being in a relationship. It's been four years. The code name, 95P says that she said that, you know, the person that she was with now, she was 95% sure it was going to be, you know, the person for the rest of her life. And this was the moment where they made their, what might call, hard launch. And they were at the after party together.
Starting point is 00:51:24 Everybody on social was so excited. And then they both posted on social now throughout the weekend. Becca posted this real montage of them throughout the years that is the cutest. thing I've ever seen. I've watched it so many times. I've watched it so many times too. I'm just so happy for them. Like I just thinking about the fact that not maybe they didn't feel like they had to hide it, but they obviously want to hide it for specific reasons that we don't know of. And just seeing how happy they were to finally share it with the world. Obviously, their close friends knew people had speculated about it for years. But finally they're like, all right, this is it.
Starting point is 00:52:08 we're launching this music video and then after this, we're sharing with the world, all these videos, pictures, TikToks, things they've been filming for years now. And I just can't believe they were able to hold it in for this long. I know, right? I think, like,
Starting point is 00:52:24 I do think that Becca's had so many public relationships that she really wanted a private relationship. And then when they were ready, it would be something that they would share. and it is, yeah, like you said, there's just only happiness. They both seem so excited, so happy, all this, a lot of support, a lot of love. You know, Becca had posted that she was just overwhelmed by the reception and the support from everyone.
Starting point is 00:53:01 It was very cute. Haley posted that, like, when they first met four years ago, Becca had shown up to her event. She was wearing a shirt that said, no time for romance. And obviously, you know, that changed. And she, her real now has 3.4 million views.
Starting point is 00:53:24 And like, I think I've watched it in myself hundreds of times. It's such a also great song. Like the song that she picked for it, perfect. Were you pausing? Some of it. Yes. I was going to every picture. So there was the one of them.
Starting point is 00:53:42 It looked like somebody had written, like, will you be my girlfriend in a heart in the sand on the beach behind? I was like, this is so cute. There were a lot of pictures and videos where I was like, how did nobody get this in public? Yeah. Yeah. And I guess that shows like that her fans have been so respectful.
Starting point is 00:54:06 Like I just think it, you know, kudos to the, to the scrubbing in fan base. We know that they're an amazing fan base. And I feel like they have known about this or speculated for a long time. And everybody, you know, let Becca live her life. Pretty cool. I guess they never went to Seattle. Yeah. Pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:54:28 Crazy that that could happen. But yeah, no, I'm super, super excited for them. and I can't wait to see. I feel like I can't wait to see now the future content from them. Yeah, I'm really excited to, and I think that they will be posting more now. Yeah, so cute. All right, that wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office. Make sure you are subscribing to us on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:54:52 We love you guys, and we will talk to you on Wednesday.
