Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners.
You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube.
Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music.
This is state of emergency.
What's up, everyone?
It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Monday.
As always, this podcast.
Thursday.
Ooh.
Ooh.
Thursday.
Sorry, guys.
Sorry.
That's okay.
Friday Energy on a Thursday.
That's what I meant.
What's up, everyone. It's Rianne Friend, giving you that Friday energy on a Thursday.
As always, this podcast is presented to you by Macy's. Macy's at, I can't even speak. I'm sorry, guys.
Macy's is our favorite place to shop. You guys know it. We talk about it every single podcast.
I'm seeing a lot of DMs from people being like, wow, I never shopped at Macy's before,
but you guys have proven that there's really cute stuff. And I'm really happy to see that because there is.
We're getting a lot of cute loungewear outfits that we're wearing outside of the house right now.
And of course, some home goods.
I got a nice little mixer.
I made brownies the other day.
An air fryer, I keep talking about that, but I haven't used it yet.
But I will.
I'm going to make something with this air friar very, very soon.
And Fran, you've been loving the Macy's beauty products.
Yeah, they have everything.
All my essentials, my daily makeup routine that I do every day, all the products you can get on Macy's.
I just, I was just going to say I just posted them on the story, but by the time this comes out,
that'll be gone.
No, it won't. They'll have some time. You just posted it. It's three p.m. on Wednesday.
So you're listening in the morning and you look at the stories before 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
They're all there. I mean, 3 p.m. on Thursday, you'll be able to see them.
Yes, they're all there. And a lot of them are listed on our chicks in the office, Macy's site,
so you can check them all out there. And they, you know, I know Father's Day is a couple days away now,
but maybe you have a last minute thing.
You want to get a present,
or you're close to a Macy's that does curbside pickup,
and you can just go and get it quick.
There's select locations where they have curbside pickup now,
which is great.
And yeah, I mean, Macy's is our, really has everything,
all the essentials, skincare makeup.
The crop top I'm wearing right now is for Macy's.
The leggings that I'm wearing right now are for Macy's.
So just really head to toe rocking,
rocking Macy's.
Love it.
You can go to Macy's.com slash chicks in the office and you can see everything that we're
shopping and use promo code chicks until June 21st and you'll get a discount on your order.
Make sure you do that before June 21st so you can get that discount on all of the great
things that we're getting from Macy's.
Fran, how are you doing on this lovely Wednesday afternoon?
It's, you know, it's mid-June.
The weather is nice.
How are you doing?
Yeah.
I'm well, Bria.
That's beautiful.
Yeah. It is crazy that it's like already, like just hearing you say mid-June, it's like, wow, it's, it's mid-June. It's just 2020 has been quite a year, but it's like already halfway through. I don't know. It's time, time has been a very bizarre concept.
It is strange, and we found out that we probably won't be going back to the office until like, I don't know, August or even later. We don't know. Even later, we have no idea.
idea, but it's not going to be July. So, you know, part of, part of me is a little sad about that
because, you know, I feel like I've gotten my time inside. Like, for a little bit, I was enjoying
the quarantine hand up. I liked being able to be in my bed. I liked watching shows all the time.
I was comfortable. And now I'm reaching the point where like, my anxiety has reached new levels
this week. And I feel like when I'm around people and I'm talking to people, I just feel so much
better. So I was like really missing being in the office where like when I'm around my friends and around
my coworkers and we're laughing and having a good time and everyone's like, chin up, Briah, you're
going to be great. It's like, oh yeah. And I'm in the office and like my thoughts don't get to me.
So I was actually yesterday, I was thinking about it. I was like, fuck yeah, I can't wait back
to get back to the office. Like I feel like I'm just going to feel so much better being around people.
And then a little later, I got a call where it was like, yeah, we're not going to be coming back or like the people who don't have to be in the office directly.
So I was like, oh, so I'm going to have to sit with my thoughts even longer.
Okay, got it.
But it's also the summer.
So, you know, the weather's nice.
Taking walks is nice.
Being in New York City and the summer is not that great.
Like, you know, the rooftop bars and all that is nice, but that's not open right now.
So I like the beach.
I like waterfront views.
So it is right.
It is what it is.
Yeah, I've given you an open invitation.
Yes, thank you very much.
Come out.
I, you know, maybe we take a trip to see Noah.
Noah, you want to have us in your house?
Noah's like, I don't think we have enough beds here.
Sorry.
Oh, okay, sure.
Got it, Noah.
We get the hint.
No, I agree with you because it's a very weird situation with going back to work, especially in Manhattan.
There's a lot of rules.
You know, we want the office.
If you follow a lot of stuff from Barcelona, you see that there are people in the office,
but we're really only supposed to be working at like 25% capacity.
So it's supposed to be very, very few people actually in there.
And we have just kind of had to manage, like, who.
those people are and from what they're doing.
Yeah, and we're thriving from home.
Yeah, and yeah, they were like, you're doing your job
remotely, like you don't need anything specifically in the office.
So the people who have been going to the office, like need, you know,
people who are doing serious.
We haven't been doing radio since quarantine started.
So, you know, it's people who need to be in the office and the Hank needs to be in the office.
So then I'm like, oh, we can't like go.
Stuck.
because I don't want to leave him.
I enjoy being with my boyfriend so that I'm like,
but I want to go somewhere.
So I don't know.
And then it's like if I come to Martha's Vineyard to you,
then I'm kind of trapped in Martha's Vineyard because
yeah,
we've got the keys to the car.
So it's,
I don't know,
I'll figure it out eventually.
It'll be fine.
Positive vibes only.
Yeah.
I'm laughing because on the inside,
like I'll be honest,
this week. The way I cope with things is, I feel like a way a lot of people cope with things,
is they just like start laughing about things that make them uncomfortable and make them sad,
which is what I do. But then when I'm not in front of anybody, I just cry. So it's like,
right now I'm like, ha, ha, I have so much anxiety. Ha ha! And then I go and I shut the laptop,
and I'm like sitting in my bed with my hood up crying. No, I'm kidding. You're not kidding. You're not
kidding and that's why this is sad. You tried to spend that into a joke, which I respect, but it
didn't work. That's what I do. I just try to make everything a joke because I get uncomfortable
being like serious. Yeah. You know, look, especially with everything that's been going on,
there's a lot of ups and downs, everybody's mental health. I hope everybody's taking good care
of themselves because it's, there's so much going on on top of obviously coronavirus and things
opening up and people just even having anxiety from that and doing things and seeing people or not
seeing people. So it's just, it'll be interesting how all these states navigate through the
summer because obviously every state is different and we kind of live the New York experience
when so many states are so different than New York. So it's going to be crazy, but we will
just keep recording our show via Zoom.
We fucking love Zoom.
It's so funny being on Zoom and doing interviews.
By the way, we have an interview on this podcast.
We haven't had interviews in like, I think, a week or two weeks.
A couple weeks.
So that's great.
But it is always funny just doing interviews on Zoom of the awkward like,
okay, now you go.
Okay, now you go.
And you can't really give each other signals or anything.
Without fail there.
Without fail, once a.
interview there's a time when when rea and i speak at the same time and then at the same time again
we say oh go ahead and so then now we're just stuck say the same thing because it's like we speak
and then we're like oh shoot and then we both go i say go ahead ria and ria says go ahead fran at the same time
i'm cringing thinking about it but it is what it is it's zoom life yeah i i feel like everybody
understands and you know we always got to chuckle out of it from the guests oh yeah the guests are always
like, ah, classic Zoom.
Yeah, classic you guys.
Yeah.
Overe and Fran, you little rascals.
Yeah.
So it's going to be like this for, who knows, until celebrities start doing in-person
interviews again, when we're allowed to travel again.
What makes me a little upset is how much fun I think we were having for this podcast
before everything got shut down.
Like, we went to Miami, we went to L.A., like Coachella was coming up.
We were doing some cool shit.
We had some cool shit in the pipeline.
I even heard about us going to Hawaii at one point.
I was like, what?
So I, you know, and I forgot about that.
Obviously, yeah.
There's obviously way bigger things to worry about and we know that.
I'm not going to sit here and cry about not being able to go places.
But I do think just realistically, if anybody was, anybody feels this way.
They were just living a normal life, traveling and whatnot.
And then it was like, boom.
The whole year is just, it's, it's, it's just from, I don't know, it's, it's been crazy
because obviously there were so many things that could have happened, but were put on hold.
But that's all right.
Yeah, no, I think of it more as like from a podcast.
Like I'm not thinking, I'm not thinking about like my own personal life traveling.
Oh, yeah.
I'm thinking about strictly for this show and for Chips in the office so many,
many cool things, uh, were in the pipeline. Like not, yeah, I hope people don't realize that I was like
talking about myself being on vacation because that's not. No, no, no, no. We were doing
cool things for checks in the office, which we will still continue to do. And when things open up,
hopefully we'll have some cool things in the pipeline. Coachella 2021 will be there if it's allowed.
Yep, yep. Yep. One day. That, yeah, who knows? Like we said, concerts, it could be a while. Might not even be
2021, but we'll see.
On that note,
what did,
what else did we want to talk about today?
I know what we wanted to talk about. We want to talk about, we wanted to talk about
Christelia. Oh, yes. We want to let all of our listeners know that he is a sketch creep.
And, you know, obviously there has been a lot of conversations around people being canceled right now.
And this guy, cancel him.
Cancel.
Please.
What are you wearing to the Christelia's cancel party?
Yeah.
Cancel and stay canceled.
The past few days, tons and tons of people have come out, especially a lot of women and a lot of women who at the time were underage or are still currently underage who have very sketch, creepy stories about Christelia.
And, you know, there's been threads on it on Twitter and people are just including all of the messages and stories that people have been sharing about.
him at shows or in message it, like DMing people and soliciting things and just says.
She just seems like a grade A creep.
Honestly, disgusting.
And if you know, Christelia played a pedophile in season two of you and workaholics.
And I think the show Whitney, as he said.
Right.
And I remember when I watched season two of you, I said to Hank, I was like, damn,
Chris Delia must be like a squeaky clean guy to play basically himself because he was playing a comedian.
To play himself, but to have this be the alternate story to it.
Like he must be, he must be clean because how do you play that part and in your head not subconsciously think,
um, I have creeped on underage girls before.
So this is disgusting, honestly.
Like just from top to bottom, like you have all of these girls speaking out about all of these instances where, you know, they were 17, 16, some were 18, but a lot of underage girls.
And then he comes out and basically says to TMZ, just to shorten his message, says, I didn't do any of these things.
I never did this, but I truly am sorry.
My lifestyle got the best of me.
How do you say you didn't do something?
And then all of a sudden say you're truly sorry
and the lifestyle got the best of you.
You can't, there's no.
No.
Back and forth on this one.
You're just, you either are denying it or you are sorry.
Like I don't, I'm a little confused by the reaction from Christelia here.
And by the way, if you don't believe these people,
you're out of your mind.
There's so many girls and so many stories.
It's like, uh,
Chryselia is clearly a creep.
Yeah.
I mean,
last night I read at least 30 tweets of girls telling this,
a different version of a,
of a creepy story that they have had, um,
with,
with him.
So,
you know,
once you,
once you hit a number like that,
like come on.
It's,
even still like it's so obvious.
People are like, where's the proof all over the place?
All over.
Every single tweet is proof.
I'm like, I don't really understand the where's the proof when every single story is proof.
Right.
It's so frustrating.
But I think hopefully at this point, the message is clear that Christelia is a creepo.
And, you know, if you want, if you want to search Christelia on Twitter, because you'll find all the information.
And she rates dogs has been posting just threads of people who have been DMing them just to tell them what's up with Kirstelia.
Yeah.
And you know what else?
Like you have to be kind of like a sociopath to play a pedophile on TV multiple times and live that life in real life and not think that people.
would try and make some kind of connection.
Oh, I mean, absolutely.
Just thinking how your brain works to be like,
ooh, I'm going to take this role where I play a pedophile
because, like, how delusional are you about yourself?
That's what's really freaking me out.
To have that much not self-aware.
You're so unself-aware to the point where you're delusional.
Yeah, yeah.
It's really creepy.
Pretty gross.
And, you know, I said the same thing about Steve Carell playing that role on the morning show.
I was like, Steve Correll must be squeaky clean because how is he going to play this type of role?
Right.
And then, because then people start thinking things.
And unfortunately, when you play more than one of those.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What's it take more than one of those kinds of roles?
Like, you've got to think why, is this what I want to be doing?
And as a comedian, like, you really.
you really picked up three roles as a pedophile, Christelia?
Yeah, yeah.
You couldn't get any other roles?
That's pretty telling.
Yeah, yeah, it's pretty, like we said, super gross.
If he, like, seems like he is currently being canceled and would hope that that is one that sticks.
I hope so.
I really hope people don't start forgiving him and giving him a job and whatnot.
Just because there's just two.
much evidence at this point going forward.
And, you know, on a lighter note, we'll get into some topics.
Yes.
We have, actually, this is not a lighter note.
Kristen Stewart was cast as Princess Diana and people are not happy, including Noah.
Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are officially dating, it seems.
We have a CESTA Key recap as well as Alex being fired from CESA Key.
We'll talk about both of those things.
And The Bachelor Recap with Trent, the greatest season of all time, Caitlin Bristow.
Really excited to talk about it all.
It was a fun night plus a fun announcement as well.
And we also have a great interview with Garcel Beauvais from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
She was super, super fun to talk to.
And we really had a great time with her.
And we're excited to have more interviews on the show.
So let's get into it, starting off with Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana.
And we'll never be royal.
People are pissed about this topic right now.
Kristen Stewart was cast as Princess Diana.
So she was cast in this new biopic.
It's going to be called Spencer.
And production is expected to begin in early 21.
Pablo Lorraine is set to direct.
And it's a drama that is, it says that it covers a critical weekend
in the early 90s when Diana decided her marriage to Prince Charles wasn't working
and that she needed to veer from a path that put her in line to one day be queen.
The drama takes place over three days in one of her final Christmas holidays in the House of Windsor.
So obviously the concept sounds very interesting, but it has been a resounding,
dear God, no, from like the entire public.
Like all I see is the office gif of Michael Scott.
And it's just like, no, no.
And it sucks because I like, I do like Kristen Stewart,
but she is normally cast as the same kind of person
in a majority of movies.
And her acting skills are just not that versatile
in my opinion.
I agree with you.
I used to love Kristen Stewart as a kid
because my acting teacher
and my manager used to tell me
that I remind them of Kristen Stewart
and then I realized I should quit acting
because that means I was a bad actress.
I think I'm going to make that the quote
that we post.
And it's just like literally fast forward
10 years, Rhea is no longer an actress. No joke. They were like, we think you should go for like
the Kristen Stewart vibe. And I took that as a compliment at the time because I love Twilight. I love
the Twilight series. And I also loved a panic room with Kristen Stewart and Winona Ryder. I think that
that was Kristen Stewart's best movie. No joke. She must have been like 12 years old in that movie.
But it's actually a really good movie and her acting was really good.
And then we get to Twilight where I think her acting portrayed the role that she was supposed to be.
You know, this.
She's like playing her silent.
Someone similar to herself.
Timid and yeah.
But then she started carrying that into every role that she did.
I remember the runaways, which I was really excited for with Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart.
And they were playing the runaways and Joan Jett and Sherry Curry.
And I was like, oh my God.
Kristen Stewart, she's going to be so good as Joan Jett.
And it's not that she was bad as Joan Jett, but she was Kristen Stewart.
Right.
You know, the pizzazz is just not really there as much as you want it to be.
I thought that, just to slide this in here, because I know we have to bring it up.
Noah had one of the funniest tweets ever that he's ever had from Chicks in the Office.
He tweeted, this is the second orth thing to ever happen to Princess Diana.
And I just, I lost it.
I was laughing for a good 10 minutes about this.
That's a good like,
it's a good like spit out your food tweet.
Like,
where you're like,
oh shit,
but it's ruthless and very funny at the same time.
Because when I think about it,
I think it's going to end up being like
Kristen Stewart playing Princess Die playing Christian Stewart.
Like,
you know,
it's a weird combination.
I still have a sour taste.
my mouth from the Charlie's Angels reboot, that movie was awful. And so it's just, I don't,
I don't really know. And once again, it really feels like piling on Kristen Stewart, but
there's just so many other actresses I would think of to play Princess Diana before I would
consider Kristen Stewart. Exactly. Hank had a great point. He said that Sophie Turner would have made
a great Princess Diana. And I agree with that. I was like, wow, what a great choice, Hank. That
just came to you so fast. I feel like it could have been anybody. It could have been a no-name
actress. British actress. Who's actually British to play Princess Diana?
Kristen Stewart doing a British accent. I'm cringing out of my skin. I genuinely can't sit in this
chair and talk about Kristen Stewart doing a British accent as Princess Diana. I'm sorry. I just,
Kristen Stewart has such a different vibe than Princess Diana. Look, I'm not going to lie. I think they
might actually make a change from the public outcry of how much people do not like this.
Like, I think sometimes-
Has that ever happened, though?
Has anybody ever made a change because of the public outcry for a movie?
Think about how many times people go into a fucking-up floor.
It does happen.
I know.
It does happen.
But I feel like a lot of times that's when people are playing.
I know, you're right.
People are pissed about it.
I would be impossible.
Maybe he'll drop out.
Maybe she'll drop out just because she's like, no one wants me to do this.
No, she's going to get paid millions of dollars.
Why would you, I would never drop out of a role because so many people on the internet were like,
boo, I would actually want to play it more so that I can prove that I'm going to do a good job.
Maybe she will prove everyone wrong.
Right.
Maybe this will be an Academy Award performance.
And that would be best case scenario.
I'm rooting for her, but I just, I don't have that much hope.
Right.
And I feel it has a very similar feel to, um,
Yes, there's plenty of times when we hear casting announcements and people get so pissed.
And not to keep it in the twilight realm, but like when Robert Pattinson was cast as Batman,
everybody was like, what the fuck?
The vampire is playing Batman?
Yeah.
But I feel like there was also slightly more positivity towards Robert Patton's.
And I feel like there was a lot more people kind of being like, who knows this could work?
Like, let's give him a chance.
For this, it just seems like a resounding.
No. Yeah. And for somebody who is such an icon, like Princess Diana, you would think you want to do her justice. Now, I don't know maybe Kristen Stewart had the audition of a lifetime, truly. Because there is no way that they just went to Kristen Stewart and offered her this role. There's no way. There's a lot of times in Hollywood and movies and TV where actresses and actors just get offered parts without having to audition just because of their experience and being
known as a great actor or actress. There is no way that this is that kind of role for Kristen Stewart.
These people did not seek out Kristen Stewart and say, hey, Kristen, you're the one. You killed it
in Twilight. And we think you'd be great as Princess Diana. She had to have read for the part.
There had to have been some sort of audition process. So maybe she just really, really crushed it.
I would love to see a list of people who were up for the role as well
because I remember we saw that for what movie was it
that we saw a whole list of guys that were up for a certain role.
Was it the Little Mermaid?
I think it's a lot.
I think I was going to say The Little Mermaid,
but then didn't want to be really wrong by saying The Little Mermaid.
Yeah, that's such a weird comparison.
I'm talking about Princess Diana.
I think it, no, but I think it was the Little Mermaid
because I think that was when everyone thought maybe Harris,
Diles was going to play Prince Eric.
And he was like, no.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
I don't know. Either way, I like when they put out a list and they're like,
these are the people that might play this part.
Right. And this, so this director, I just wanted to see, like, what else this
director has done. And he, um, directed that, the biopic, Jackie, the one, the one that
Natalie Portman did that was, um, you know, was nominated that Natalie Portman was nominated for.
so maybe he has a good eye.
Like, yeah, he did it with Natalie Portman, playing Jackie Kennedy.
Maybe that it'll have the same correlation.
I got to be honest.
I haven't really seen videos of Princess Diana speaking that much.
Yeah.
Maybe her and Kristen Stewart sound alike.
No?
Not really.
Not really.
Fair enough.
I was just looking.
I was looking for some hope.
I was looking for a way to justify.
by Kristen Stewart playing Princess Diana,
but there doesn't really seem like there's a reason.
Unless, like I said, she fucking crushed the audition,
swept the director off his feet.
What if one of her sons, like, came out and was like, no.
Like, we can't, you cannot play.
And I think they would have to recast it.
If Prince Harry was just like, sorry, no.
We got to pull the plug.
Or what if Prince Harry was like,
Kristen Stewart is the one?
Oh, God.
I mean, I think they would pull the plug on any.
thing because they
probably hate that these movies and stuff
get made anyway about their mom. So
I think it's
crazy
that
they would have to
watch Kristen Stewart
play their mother.
Haley Bieber can't act and she
would have been a better pick as Princess Diana.
There's a long list.
There's a long list of people I feel
like could have crushed that that every actress in Hollywood.
Yeah, maybe.
Yeah.
We'll see.
Any of Charlie's Angels.
Right.
Oh, man.
It'll be interesting.
We'll see what happens because it's not like the movie's going to be made anytime soon.
So.
Okay.
The simulation just went bad, but you're the best racing west of that.
Couple alert.
Megan Fox and Machine Gun.
seemed like they're officially dating.
They were seen out in public,
nuzzling, holding hands,
kissing. They are on fire.
Honestly, I was turned on by looking at these photos.
They're so fucking hot as a couple.
It's insane.
Machine Gun Kelly also put a video up on Instagram
of a sushi picnic,
and he had wrote In Love on the video.
So he is a smitten kitten,
which, right, like, how do you not instantly fall in love with Megan Fox if she gives you that opportunity, like one date in? And it's insane. You know, he had tweeted like when life imitates art, talking about a line from the song. And like you said, there's pictures of them holding hands and whatnot. I am so, we said it already, but so into this couple. Now that it is confirmed and out there and the PDA is out there, just, they're a true rock and roll.
old couple. They are, like I said, they're just so fucking hot. There's no way to deny it.
You know, if you're machine gun Kelly and you get this chance to be with Megan Fox, who is the number
one, Megan Fox number one. It's hard to fight that. She's like the hottest girl to ever exist.
And now she's interested in you. You've got to hold it down at machine gun, Kelly. Don't fuck this up.
I'm just saying.
And I think that Machine Gun Kelly, you know, as I don't know, I love when we talk about
celebrities. I'm like, I think they're a good guy. I don't know really him, anything about
him besides I think he's a good person. That we think he's a good guy. Yeah. Because of what I see
him and his daughter, he seems like such a great dad. And he, yes, great friend to Pete Davidson.
When Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande broke up, we heard that Machine Gun Kelly flew to Pete Davidson right
away. We've known people at work that have hung out with him and say that he's just such a nice
guy. So I'm rooting for this. He's like the opposite of G. Easy. He's what G.E.Z wants to be.
Correct. Correct. No, like you said, Megan Fox will be an icon forever. And I've talked to you
about this plenty of times. But one of the only criticisms that Megan Fox gets,
is because of her dang club thumbs.
And you know what, Megan?
I feel you because I have them too.
You have those thumbs.
And to be in Megan Fox's company and that is glorious.
She gave me a gift.
Yes.
To share any gift.
To share anything with Megan Fox is a beautiful thing.
No, she really, she truly gave me a gift because it is my go-to response when people
make fun of me for my thumbs.
They're like, ew, Fran, what the fuck are those?
And I'm like, well, did you know Megan Fox also has these thumbs?
They're horrid.
It's a gift.
They're not cute.
I mean, I don't know what to tell you.
The rest of their hands are beautiful.
I have toes on my hand.
You really do.
And, Fran, not to pile on to you because you have great, you could be a hand model.
If you cut your thumbs off.
I know.
I know.
The rest of my fingers are fantastic.
They're beautiful.
You have such great hands.
The stubby thumbs, though.
I know.
It's okay.
I know.
But like I said, Megan Fox has thumbs.
So, if Megan Fox has them, it's fine.
There's any listeners out there who also have the club thumbs.
You know what I'm talking about.
I'm sure they are.
If people make fun of you, you can just say that Megan Fox also has them.
If you don't already use that as a response back to the haters, because that's what I do.
Absolutely.
It's a great response to have.
Just having, like I said, having Megan Fox on your side for anything is beautiful.
Definitely.
I also want to say, because this has to do with Megan and Machine Gun Kelly,
Brian Austin Green, who obviously now is Megan's ex-husband,
has been seen hanging out with Courtney Stodden.
And that's, I don't know what's going on with Brian Austin Green,
but if that's a cry for help, I hope he's okay.
They said, I saw that they're just friends.
You know who she is, Ria.
Google her.
She was the one that was like a teenager married to that old actor that was not like really
a well-known actor and she got all that work done.
But like she has recently come out and say that she was taking advantage of and had such
a terrible experience in that marriage.
But it's just the, the drama and weird shit going on there is, is too much.
Do you, do you recognize who she is when you searched it?
I recognize who she is, but I would like to say.
that maybe, you know, everything she's saying and she was in a bad relationship and whatever it is,
maybe that has had a, I'm sure actually, has had a personal impact on her.
And maybe she is better now.
And Brian Austin Green sees the beauty inside of her.
And maybe she's a good person.
Maybe they get along.
That was a very beautiful way to put it.
Well, yeah, because I'm looking at her, and it seems like she might have her own issues.
And I don't, I don't want to, you know, make fun of her for it because I'm sure she's been through some shit.
Well, yeah, I mean, when they were like front page tabloid news for a long time when they, when she married.
I'm looking at it now.
I think is it.
Doug Hutchinson.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There was, there was some weird, weird shit going on there.
He's six years old.
She's 25.
Yep.
Yeah.
And I think she married him
when she was like 17.
I also saw that Brian Austin Green
has not filed for a divorce yet,
even though they both seem like they've been moving on.
Maybe he's still holding on some hope that they'll get back together.
It's not the first time they've broken up before.
So who knows?
I just have to say that I'm sorry, Brian Austin Green.
I am rooting for Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox.
I think they would have a very very,
super cool fucking wedding and it would be awesome if they got married.
Right. And it's funny because that is definitely a huge possibility where this machine
gun Kelly thing is a could be short-lived. Like you said, Megan and Brian Austin Green have
broken up, gone back together many times. And it seemed like when all this was going down,
Brian was very emotional and kind of had said with the post about that.
the butterfly and, you know, sometimes the butterfly has to fly away and kind of, it seems like
Megan Fox is just a woman that cannot be, can not be tied down, cannot be tamed.
She, she can't be tamed. Right now, you may be dreading going to the grocery store,
whether you're just feeling lazy, you want to sit on your couch, you want to set out at home,

Cesta Key is back.
We are going to recap the first episode
from the new season.
Obviously, there's a lot going on
because the episode was very clearly edited down
to remove Alex from the entire story
because Alex has been fired from MTV.
He will no longer be on the show.
MTV said they will be editing the season going forward to have the least amount of Alex as possible.
And we saw that.
And look, I, Rie and I both saw the screenshots of comments that Alex has made on social media in the past.
If you want to find those, you can search his name on Twitter.
I'm sure they will come up very quickly.
He's a horrible person.
Like he, this, it makes so much sense that he was fired.
much sense. Absolutely. I hate Alex. I've said that ever since I started watching Siesta Ki. I didn't
really know him before I started watching. But as soon as I started watching the show, I was like,
this is a bad human being. He just seems like a terrible fucking person. So, you know, it's a good thing
Siesta Key and MTV got rid of him. They don't need that kind of trash on their channel any longer.
it does complicate things for the season considering so much is centered on Alex and a lot of the drama is centered on Alex.
When they were filming, they hadn't made the decision yet to get rid of him.
So everything they were filming were things with Alex.
And now they're not even putting him in the show.
So things have been cut down.
They're just doing a lot of talking about him and not showing him.
So it's complicated for, I guess, C.S.
right now on what to do.
Do they, at this point, they're not showing him.
So that's a done deal.
There's no question about it.
But I bet there were questions as to,
do we continue to show him on this new season,
but say he's fired and he won't be on the show going forward
and we don't condone his behavior and just show him anyway
because he's such a bad person and it's not like he ever looks good on the show anyway.
Right.
Or do we just cut out all his scenes all together and get rid of him?
I think the ultimate decision they had to make was cut out all his scenes.
I mean, they can't let it slide for some people and not let it slide for other people.
So, and like we said, he just seemed like a bad human being in general.
So I think it had to be done at this point.
And I think that they'll work their way around it.
Obviously, it's going to be a lot of talking about Alex instead of showing him.
but he is a huge part of the drama.
Right.
It is complicated.
And MTV has done this before,
and people have been upset about it when they edit around people
because it feels like the story is incomplete.
But it's just the way to do it.
Because if you think about it,
obviously at the end of three season 3A,
which had aired earlier this year,
we had seen the pregnancy test and everything,
and it was like a cliffhanger ending.
And I'm sure they filmed that conversation
between Alyssa and Alex
and maybe that was probably a very big moment
and probably a huge part of what this premiere episode
was going to be about.
But when you're fired, you're fired, you're fired.
And you're out, they obviously have to cut around it.
And it's also happening now with the challenge a little bit.
obviously they said when D was,
well that D was fired,
it would no longer be on any further seasons that,
uh,
it would be hard to kind of navigate because obviously right now she's still on the show.
And, you know,
there's a new episode,
but I'm just talking about the one from the last week.
It was very clear that they tried to cut around a lot of D stuff.
Like they,
she was a big part of the episode,
but they tried to make her not a big part of the episode.
So that's just,
what happens when we find out that these people are
shitty people and they're getting fired and so we're going to have to
kind of fill in the pieces ourselves and maybe the other
people from Siesta key will fill in those pieces
and we'll find out the full story
because that's
that's the only part that bothers me
it's it's it's like
the draw you don't we don't get all the details
I just want all the details I don't need to see him
Like, keep him off the show, but I just want to, I just want all, someone just tell me all the drama.
Absolutely. I am perfectly fine with not seeing his face any longer.
I think that MTV made the right decision to not show his face because they can't.
Right.
You can't fire someone and then continue to show an entire season where they're like a major part of the show.
Exactly. And like I said, I'm sure that they had that debate.
in their head. Do we, do we fire him and still show it? Do we just get rid of him all together and
only talk about him? And like we said, I think that they went with the choice that had to be done,
not show him, but give us the drama. Let us, let us know what happened. And I also think this
gives room for, like, Juliet to really grow and, and just shine on this show. Because a lot of the
times, I think that Juliet is the main star of CSTP. And I feel like, obviously, a lot of it had to do
with Alex and Alex and Juliet fighting back and forth.
But even during the seasons, like, yeah, Alex was a big part of it,
but they also didn't show him a lot of the times.
Like, there were some times where I would be like,
it's weird they're not showing Alex right now in a time where you think they would be.
So I think that the show is going to be perfectly fine going forward.
I don't know if they're going to continue to do another season, but.
Right.
It would have been fine if the,
the season had started with, they would have been fine if like the, the way that the last season
had ended wasn't centered around Alex. Like if it was somebody else's drama, yes. Yes. If it was
somebody else, somebody else's drama, it would have been no problem because like you said,
they've gone multiple episodes without showing Alex and it's wonderful. It's wonderful. But it was just,
it was just really unfortunate timing that we left off with a big Alex storyline.
that is obviously now complicated because of this situation.
So that's why I agree with you.
Like, whatever, there's going to be other things going on.
Not everything revolves around Alex.
There's so many other parts to this show.
But I will say it was obviously very obvious.
It was very obvious.
We got to see Alex's dad get screen time with Chloe talking to Gary
about her future in the compo business world.
And a lot of it around Chloe's Celine bag and telling Alyssa, not telling Alyssa, but without really showing Alyssa.
Yeah.
Let's talk about Chloe the Sleen bag, meeting with Amanda.
Yeah.
Because I'm fed up with Chloe.
I got to be honest.
We talked about on our Instagram live about how Chloe, you know, she stores up the drama.
She's the one who goes and tells people things and then they find out about it.
the fact that she even got this basic ass selene bag from Alex in the first place
pick a different style pick a different bag like you know change it up a little bit this basic
ass purse that everyone has like that you know that's not the number one issue with it but
I was just like okay really that's the bag that you want it's so bad everyone has that not everyone
but that's the basic seline bag you would get change it up a little bit Chloe if you're going to have
somebody buy something for you. And second, just having Alex pay her off in general. Yeah. It's just a
scummy move. Amanda wanted nothing to do with it. She was like, get that bag away from me. That's
disgusting, Chloe. And then Amanda went and confronted Juliet about it. Right. I guess it's my
inner basic. I left the bag. It's nice. It is the basic. It is the basic bag, but. But it's, it's, it's, it's a basic bag.
It's the most basic saline bag that you can find.
Yes.
And if you're going to have somebody buy you a bag,
I would pick something a little more,
with something a little with more pizzazz with it.
That's just.
Okay.
So with the,
with Chloe too,
it was weird because it's just,
it was just self-serving, right?
Like, so obviously it's worked out for Chloe in the past,
to tattle on everyone because that's been her her role and her MO and she does it very well.
But when it would directly affect her life more than it normally does because she's been
working with Alex and working for Alex's dad, it's like, oh, I'm not, now I'm not going to say
anything. One, because I was paid off. And two, because you got frigging mob, mob Gary being like,
can I trust you? Like, you in this family? It's like, what, what is going on here?
So, Chloe was not going to be the one to say anything,
but obviously this bothered Juliet enough that she just cracked.
You know, everyone was saying, don't say anything.
Amanda didn't want anything to do with it.
Chloe didn't want anything to do with it,
even though, you know, Chloe told, like, Chloe didn't tell Alyssa,
but towards the end of the episode, it seemed like everybody knew.
Like, all the girls knew, everybody knew.
So it was like there wasn't a big secret.
Everybody knew that Juliet and Alex slept together in Nashville,
and everybody knew that Alex bribed Chloe with a Celine bag.
Right.
And here is my issue with the whole thing.
And it bothers me because I root for Juliet and I really like Julia a lot.
And I think that she has just been in a terrible relationship with Alex for some of her life.
And it obviously has some emotional scarring on her.
And that's why I'm sure she does the things that she does.
Right.
So I don't want to like ridicule her too much because I don't even know what it's like to be in
her position. But when she was talking about it and she was like, Alex thinks he can do whatever he wants
and get away with it and this, that, the other thing. I'm not going to let him get away with it.
I was like, but you're the girl he fucked. Like he cheated on his new girlfriend with you.
And like Amanda said to her, like, you know how that feels, Juliet. You know what it's like to be
cheated on. And now you just did that to somebody else. And now you're acting like Alex is the only one
who did something wrong.
When Juliet was very much in the wrong as well,
she knew Alyssa and Alex were now dating at that point.
You don't get rights because you were the ex or the first person.
It's not like Alex's rights are now to you and you can fuck him whenever you want,
even if he has a girlfriend because you dated him once.
That's not how it works.
So I was just a little annoyed that she kept saying like he's not going to get away with this.
He's not going to get away with this.
When she was very much part of what he did and what was wrong,
as for everybody not wanting to tell Alyssa,
the girl's got to know somehow.
I think Juliet wanting to tell Alyssa
is a little bit of both, like, a good thing and a bad thing.
A good thing being she doesn't want Alex to get away with his cheating,
a bad thing that I think it was kind of in spite because it was her.
And just to like
get rid of her own guilt.
Like, you know, like,
it doesn't really help Alyssa at all.
It helps her that she feels like she got this off of her chest.
What's also crazy to me is just,
I mean, obviously Alex has had this super,
like this spell over Juliet for a long time.
And I just don't understand how Alyssa
doesn't see what kind of
person he is. It's just, it's just crazy. Like, even when Juliet called Alyssa and was like, and,
you know, breaks the news tells her, um, what happened in Nashville. And she's like, I just don't believe
you. And, and I just, I don't know how you could have Alex as a boyfriend and not immediately be
suspicious. Like, I would just not trust a word he said. She's like, well, I asked him, he said,
nothing happened. Well, you're just going to believe him? Absolutely. I don't know how Alyssa.
heard that and just was like,
I don't care what you're saying to me whatsoever.
I believe him.
You have to be blinded by Alex
and hypnotized to not believe
when somebody's straight up saying,
I hooked up with him.
Why would Juliet put herself in that position
to say she hooked up with him when she didn't?
Because it's just embarrassing for her as well.
So the fact that she's not believing her is crazy.
Obviously the, you know,
you can't have a relationship without trust.
So maybe Alyssa is just like, I'm going to blindly trust Alex because I want our relationship to move forward.
And at this point, I'm pregnant.
Like, that's another thing.
Like, because the timeline, I guess at this gala, Alyssa knew she was pregnant, right?
I would think.
Yeah, because that's how the-
Because they had seen the test already.
So she, so I'm sure obviously that has something to do with it because nobody else knows.
that yet or if that's coming or whatnot. So we'll see. I want to talk about Kelsey and Garrett because
they were also a big part of this episode. They have rekindled their love. They posted on, you know,
a couple of pictures on social media. And from the coming attractions, it seems like maybe this
doesn't last long. But I love, I've loved Kelsey and Garrett. And it sucks because I feel like
people think that Garrett's too good for Kelsey or that Kelsey has fucked with Garrett in the
past. And that is true. But I don't know. There's something about the two of them that I've
always really liked. And I thought maybe they would make it work. And throughout the whole
episode, I was like, wow, are these, do they actually make this work? Like, are they together? Is this,
is this what's been going on? Um, but from the season preview,
it seems like that blows up.
I think it blows up,
but I almost feel like they get back together
because Kelsey posted a picture with Garrett
on Instagram and wrote Happy.
I don't know if she would post that
if they had gotten into explosive fight
and didn't fix it.
So Kelsey is also very, I know.
But I also...
Elsie's good at her social media
to post when things are happening on the show
and like kind of hiding what's actually going on currently.
She's always been pretty good with that.
True, that's a great point. Maybe we would have seen Instagram stories with Garrett more often with Kelsey.
And, you know, if Garrett is trying to hook up with another girl while he's dating Kelsey, I'm going to be fucking pissed at Garrett. I'll say it right now. I'm not going to be happy with him.
So we'll see what happens. It was very interesting that it was supposed to be a two-hour show and it was only 52 minutes. I mean, not even 52 minutes, actually, because plus commercials, it must have been.
I watched it on the MTV app.
show. Yeah, it was 42 minutes. Yeah, a quick showing. Uh, I probably, probably will be like that for the
rest of the season, but we'll continue to watch. Juliet's going to get a new boyfriend who's filthy rich,
and that's going to be interesting to see everyone get jealous and claim that she doesn't like him,
only for his money. So we know that's coming. And we'll see what happens with, maybe we'll get a JJ
and Kara showing. JJ all of a sudden not dating Amanda, and he's with Kara. Yeah. And maybe,
Madison and Ish are going to move into a house and like it cracks me up because Madison is
I know it was because Madison is just on such a different wavelength than everybody else like
everybody else I feel like is still in like petty drama fighting there's there's so much drama going
on they're still so young but Madison who is also still very young is like I want to buy a house
and have babies and I'm trying to pick my permanent residence like it's just it's so different
from what everybody else is doing.
Exactly.
Listen, I don't want to harvest on the fact that I think that Madison and Iish's
relationship is really weird.
And yes, I said harvest again, even though it's harp.
Yeah.
I still am not comfortable with it.
It's not sitting well with me that this man who was a producer on the show behind the
scenes was like, ooh, I want Madison.
Right.
It's just freaking me out a little bit.
But it is what it is.
If they like each other, you know, they're both.
age. It's consensual. So there's nothing we can do about that.
Monday night we watched Caitlin Bustow's season for the Bachelor, greatest of all time.
I can say that it was definitely a long three hours. Three hours is very long. But we have
Trent back with us to discuss this season because honestly, I know they're saying the greatest
of all time and they're using all of these seasons, multiple seasons. But Caitlin's was
honestly, might be the greatest season.
Yeah, we were texting back and forth while the show was airing about what we thought
the best seasons were.
I particularly am a fan of Jojo season.
That's probably my favorite season of all time.
But Caitlin's is right up there.
In full disclosure, I didn't watch Sean Lowe's season when it happened.
And I also didn't watch last week when they did the recap.
I just wasn't all that interested in watching three hours of a season that I hadn't seen.
But Caitlin's was the complete opposite.
I watched all that three hours.
You're right.
It's a little long, but it was cool to.
see those old faces and remember some of those old moments.
Yeah.
I was really excited for this because Caitlin's season was kind of how I was introduced to
the Bachelor and Bachelorette in general.
I used to hear about it obviously when I was younger, but I didn't watch.
And I remember being at my friend's house.
She was like, oh, I need to catch up on The Bachelorette.
And we watched like five episodes of Caitlin's season.
So that was the first season I ever really saw.
I didn't necessarily like remember any of the guy.
including in Nick Byall, shout out Nikki B.
I didn't really remember much, or even Sean Booth in general.
I just remembered Caitlin.
So it was really fun to watch how many guys that we know now
and are so prominent in the Bachelor world all come from Caitlin's season.
Yeah.
She had a Hall of Fame class between obviously Nick and Sean in the end,
but Tanner, Jared, Ben Higgins.
like really had guys that went on to stay like in the Bachelor world, obviously,
like between Ben Higgins being The Bachelor and Tanner and Jared both marrying people
from the Bachelor world.
So it was cool seeing everybody's kind of like origin story sort of.
It was funny.
Like I, Tanner didn't get a lot of screen time, which is fine because Tanner didn't get screen time
during Kately's season, which is funny because I love Tanner.
and I remember watching Caitlin's season
being like, this guy is funny.
He was very, it's funny
because he's very Dylan-esque.
Like I think he and Dylan are very similar
where they had good, maybe one-liners here or there
throughout their season of The Bachelorette
but didn't really get any full attention
and then went to Paradise
and lucked out big time finding their,
their fiancee or wife.
And so it was cool to watch that.
It was cool to watch Jared,
even though watching Jared and Ashley afterward
talked to Chris Harrison was so awkward.
I felt my soul left my body during that time.
And listen, we love Ashley and Jared so much.
I'm so happy that they're together.
They are great people.
They've been great to us.
They've come on the show.
But I just felt like this interview as a whole
was so freaking awkward
because I felt as if Jared was trying to overly compensate
for what Chris Harrison was saying.
And I did feel like Ashley was okay with it,
but whenever somebody makes it awkward
before they can make it awkward,
it automatically looks bad on Ashley.
Like the fact that Jared kept saying,
like being hesitant and Ashley being like,
no, it's fine.
You could say no, it's fine,
but nobody's going to believe you now
because Jared had just turned to you
and made it seem like it already wasn't fine.
Yeah, yeah.
It was, it's funny because we always watch
watch it, it's just TV, and that was one of those moments where you sit back and you're like,
wow, you know, this is, they're real life married. And I guess, you know, technically, in their
mind, Caitlin is an ex-girlfriend, sort of. So it's, you know, who likes to talk to their wife
about their ex-girlfriend? You were laughing yourself. I want to know what you're like. Well, I was
just going to say, think about it in real life terms, because we do view it as the Bachelor universe where
it's just kind of just crazy shit show.
But think about sitting down with your now wife or husband and being like,
all right,
we're going to watch me be with one of my exes on national TV.
Like that is the most awkward thing.
And then by the way,
once we get done watching it,
they're going to throw us on a live feed and we're going to get asked questions about it.
Like that is,
that's just got to be the hardest thing.
So there is really no good way to do it.
But boy,
was the Ashley and Jared thing extra awkward.
So awkward.
It was also very funny because everybody had great Instagram stories during all this.
If you were following all of them watching like Ashley and Jared both,
Ashley was posting from earlier in the day of her watching it.
And Jared kind of like popping in and out of the room and Jared kind of getting flustered
and Jared's kissing Caitlin and they're all watching.
And then it was very, and Ashley's mom then started watching with them.
And Ashley was filming her mom and her mom was like, this is weird.
I don't like.
She was like, she was like, mad at Jared for like,
she's like, I shouldn't be mad, but I'm mad at you.
Like, it's, it was, it was very funny to watch.
It was also funny to watch Caitlin sit in Jason's mom's,
Jason's parents' house and watch the whole season with,
with Jason's mom, which was just hysterical.
I mean, obviously, at the end of the day,
you just have to be happy that they're like all in a great place
where they can watch this.
Right.
And laugh and be okay with it.
and know that everybody's happy now.
But how weird was it the,
the Brit and Caitlin thing?
I obviously remember that happening,
but boy,
it is still,
I would imagine there's a reason
they never did it again,
but it's so strange having the guys pull up in the limos
and having the two girls stand there
and you've got to pick a side.
That was just,
I still can't believe they did that.
I didn't even know they did that.
And that's disgusting, really.
I mean, because automatically you're pitting two girls against each other.
And nobody wants that.
Nobody wants to be compared to another woman.
So to automatically do that right off the bat is, gosh, I feel, I felt so bad for both of them.
Even though they both, you know, they signed up for it.
I guess if they didn't want to do that and they really felt uncomfortable with it,
then they could have just not done it, but they wanted to be the bachelorette.
Somebody, somebody's got to be.
They didn't really give him a choice.
It was like, if you want to be the bachelorette, this is how you have to do it.
And a whole other aspect to it that I think would have, would just never work now,
which is probably why they weren't able to do it again, thank God, was like the voting process.
Like, if you have, if you're seeing all these guys vote, say, I think it was majority,
Caitlin, but there was people that voted, like, Jared voted for,
Brit. So it's a very funny thing and so uncomfortable and awkward and bizarre because the people that
vote for the person who ends up not being the bachelorette, you're like, oh, are you even going to
like the other, like you don't even want them to be, talk about here for the wrong reasons. Like,
you didn't even want this person to be the bachelorette, which is, it was so fucked up when they
did it. And really like, I don't know what exactly the breakdown of the votes was. I can't remember,
but if that was to happen and say it was like really even
and somebody wins by like two votes,
that's an insane amount of people who did not want this person
to be to be on the show.
It was just,
it was such a fucked up concept.
And obviously the only ever did it for The Bachelorette.
They never did it for The Bachelor.
And it was,
I'm glad that they never did that again.
And it was really.
Just mean.
It was mean.
Yeah.
I will say it was mean, very mean.
But seeing the way, this is going to pull out some heartstrings,
seeing the way Sean Booth reacted.
Oh, I know.
How badly he wanted it to be Caitlin.
Trent just had to take a, he sat back for that one.
Well, the way he reacted to Caitlin and he wanted her so bad,
and it was just love at first sight and they were so happy together.
It hurts a little bit.
I knew I loved Sean Booth back in the day.
This was five years ago now.
But I vividly remember tweeting about how much I love Sean Booth.
He's got great hair.
It's like a tidal wave of hair every single time.
And then seeing him again knowing that he was going to end up eventually winning the season.
Obviously, we know now that they didn't end up working out.
But just seeing Sean Booth again, it gave me butterflies.
He's maybe my best of all time on this show.
He seems like such a great guy.
He also has the...
I tweeted this too.
He's literally Jake Perry from Speed Home, Alabama.
He has that same voice, like that kind of like that Southern drawl, and it's deep and it's sexy, and he talks and you're just like slightly drooling.
And even though we like, during the time, I could not have been more, like, I loved Sean.
We all love Sean.
We all love Caitlin and Sean.
We love Caitlin and Sean together.
Obviously, that did not work out.
Couldn't be more, obviously, on Caitlin's side.
throughout all this now, but it was, it's a different feeling watching this one compared to
Sean Lowe's because you know that they ended up married and have kids and lived happily ever after
when you're watching Kaelan and Sean fall in love, but you know that they did not work out.
It's sad. It's sad. It made me sad thinking about it. It's sad and it's how literally all,
a majority of the other seasons are going to go. So we kind of have to have to get used to it.
Those two where, like, the Nick and Sean thing at the time,
and it showed them through on Monday night
where it was like everybody was Team Sean,
literally every single person.
And so for Nick, you know, he was very clearly the villain.
And yeah, Sean and Caitlin didn't end up working out,
but boy, they had a hell of a run on that season.
Yeah.
The guys from this season, they're, like you said,
so many great ones, so many hilarious ones.
Like Clint and JJ were very, very funny.
season. Clint
famously penned the Villains
got it, you know, Villains gonna bill
line or whatever. You know, the Villans
got a bill or something a lot of those.
Bill's got a, Bill's gonna bill.
Villains, villain's gonna bill. Something like that.
Yeah. And he was great.
Yeah, you know, it's.
I think they made a t-shirt.
Yeah. Ian,
Ian absolutely ripping Caitlin apart. Like, he was gross.
That was sad to see.
Caitlin did say on her Instagram that he had apologized in the future, but pretty, pretty pathetic.
But obviously this whole thing was focused mostly on Nick, coming in late, uh, fucking shit up.
Fuck and fucking shit up.
And Caitlin's, like, extreme connection with him, it really, looking back, it really was so crazy because Caitlin got absolutely destroyed for that.
like Caitlin was people said the meanest shit about Caitlin because of her hooking up with Nick that night
and I think a lot of it had to do with obviously Sean had won like every woman's heart in America
so it was like how could you do that to Sean and it turned into a whole thing but you know
Caitlin had a serious attraction to him she obviously expressed that like maybe in the moment is what
she wanted looking back. Maybe she
wouldn't have done it. Who knows?
But...
It makes me so mad that people gave her
shit because if I was watching this live
and like live tweeting it at this time, I'd be like,
yes, Caitlin, go bang Nick Viall.
Even if she...
I liked Sean because
I root for people
who just do what they want to do.
Like, she wanted to fuck Nick Viall
so she fucked him. Like, I hate that
on The Bachelor. There's this kind of...
Oh, you.
you have to wait till fantasy suites and then it's this whole thing when in real life
yeah if you want to bang someone you're going to bang them before the quote-unquote fantasy suite
right and you can just and it showed obviously it did get a lot of backlash at the time
but it also shows like you can just there are no rules on this show legitimately there are no rules
if you want to sleep with nick viall and where were they were they in ireland i can't remember
like if you got to have an awesome day drinking whiskey go ahead and sleep with them if you want
If that happened in a season now, it wouldn't be a big deal at all.
I will say it's disgusting how they played the noises.
Like maybe they could have played some music instead,
but they decided to keep the moaning in.
It's just like, you know, they weren't just kissing.
They were fucking and you put those noises in there.
Like, that's weird.
I think Nick, well, I don't even want to repeat it.
But I'd say it, say it.
I think Nick says, I want to know every part of you.
And it's just like, put it.
Oh.
Yeah, he did say that.
Oh, Nikki V.
And even the look that Nick gives when they're out to dinner
and they both kind of agree to like,
hey, let's take this to my hotel.
And Nick goes, yeah.
It's just like, it's just.
Yeah.
I support it, but it's just having.
We don't need to see as much as they did.
Exactly.
Right.
Right.
Boy.
You know.
It's just an invasion of privacy.
I know they're on a show,
but if two people are legitimate,
having sex. They're not porn stars. They don't want to be filmed.
I guess you could say that they weren't expecting it because up until that point
that had always been fantasy suites. And when they do fantasy suites,
they cut the mics pretty early when the door closes. Maybe they were caught off guard,
but they didn't have to put it in, but boy, did they?
They did. And, you know, after watching Hannah's season,
we know how everybody said, you know, Kaylin walked so Hannah could run, which we all remember
that very clearly now watching Kayan Seasons back.
and then
Chris Harrison did not
hesitate to make it known
how heartbreaking
the proposal
was for Nick
like he said
as he was getting in the car
like I'm the world's biggest joke
because at this point now this has happened
to him twice and
been on TV
twice and
he and obviously
like I think a lot of the rules
have been thrown out now for current seasons.
But back then, and back then, five years ago,
it's just people, I feel like The Bachelor of The Bachelorette
really did kind of try and follow the rules more.
Sure.
And I remember thinking,
Caitlin not interrupting Nick
after he gave that whole, his whole speech,
and he's literally about to propose,
and he's like pulling the ring out,
and she's like, stop, but he already talked.
for so long. And now we're used to seeing the bachelor, the bachelor, the
bachelor, I kind of cut them off and, like, say something. But in the, in the earlier seasons,
that was just like the rule. Like, the rule was that you had to let them give that whole
speech before you could say anything. Um, that happened many, many times. So,
watching it back now, it's like, oh, God, you really wish Kaelan was just like,
uh, Nick, like, let's, it was a better speech than I remember, too. Like, I, I, I, I, I thought,
Oh, he poured his fucking heart out, and she was like, you are not the one.
We went on Instagram live with Nick.
Fran went on for a little bit, and then he called me Mia,
so then I had to go on to tell him that he was fucking wrong.
My name's not Mia.
And he said he was doing that because I was chirping him on Twitter.
And then he said that he was going to make me cry watching his proposal.
And I was like, uh, maybe.
I do cry a lot of.
TV, but I don't know because you're Nikki Vee, and you don't really make me cry.
But I will say, I got a little teary-eyed hearing him say that I'm the biggest joke in the
world.
That hurts a little bit.
That's sad.
It was sad to watch.
I'll be honest, like, he probably did think he had it in the bag.
For sure.
So it makes sense why he was so upset.
I disliked him so much that season.
And I had thought, I thought he came. Oh, so much.
I just like, I can't, I was just so mad at that whole thing.
I thought he came back way later.
I was sexed with you guys.
And I thought he came back with like three or four guys.
There were like 10 guys left.
No, he, it was a lot.
And you know what?
Also, and it sucks because looking back, I can think about how I felt way more
during it.
And it wasn't as much that I disliked Nick, even though, you know, I had watched Andy's season and everything.
It was not a huge fan.
But I think it was just because from the get-go,
you knew Sean and Caitlin were the one.
Like, it was just so obvious that Sean was the guy.
And when he came in, it was like he was ruining my fairy tale of watching Caitlin and Sean.
So that's really why I had more of a dislike for him.
It wasn't as much of hit at him as Nick.
It was more like, you're about to fuck up Caitlin and Sean,
and I don't want that to happen.
And you talked a little bit of how it was more rule-bound back then.
Yeah.
Thinking of a guy coming out of nowhere,
not being there the first night coming out of the limo to meet Caitlin,
a guy just showing up in another country or wherever they were,
being like, hey, will you add me to your season?
That seemed like completely out of bounds.
I think if that happened now, people would be more open to it
because, like you said, the rules have sort of gone away.
But back then, that felt like a complete violation.
Yeah, it definitely did.
Um, we didn't even get to see Sean's proposal, which obviously was on purpose because, you know, they're not together now.
Caitlin.
And I think maybe it would be different if Caitlin wasn't in relationship, obviously very happy with Jason now.
And maybe they would have shown it if that wasn't the case.
But they did not show it.
I personally was happy about that because I didn't, I didn't want to watch it like that.
I remember bawling my eyes out during that proposal,
and I didn't want to, did not need to watch it again.
Obviously, it feels like you watch an entire movie
and then you miss the last 10 minutes.
And that's that I know people kind of feel that way about it,
but I don't know.
I didn't mind.
The only reason I thought they would show it
and why one of them to show it was because we're already down the rabbit hole
watching the season.
Like we already talk about how awkward it is watching Jared and Caitlin make out
or Ben Higgins and Caitlin making out.
Like, where it's not,
like we didn't know that she was already, you know, involved with other people.
It just felt strange to show all of the story and then not show the part where she was proposed
to. I can understand what you're saying Fran where she's in a relationship with Jason.
They're very happy. They don't want to see that emotional proposal. But I think we were already
at a point where we're watching Caitlin try to find love and then we just don't watch the last part.
Yeah, yeah. I was upset by it. I had never seen the full proposal and Caitlin and Sean.
being happy together in the end but I do understand you know how weird it would be
actually to show the whole thing and then be like well yeah five years later
yeah Caitlin and Jason actually if you remember Jason from a different season now they're together
which they did do anyway which was really really exciting to see for many reasons we love
Jason and Caitlin together they're great people and they are just a great couple and it's so
amazing to see how happy they are, but also because Chris Harrison asked Caitlin to be on
Dancing with the Stars, which is something Caitlin has been wanting forever. She tweeted a while back
that, you know, it was offered to her, but Mike Fleece said she can't do it and let other
people go on the show. We know Hannah Brown was on last season and she won and that was amazing,
but now it's Caitlin's turn to get that mirror ball. Yeah, it was at the time,
time it was fucked up because she had publicly said, you know, contracts, everything was done,
but Mike came down from, you know, his power trip and was like, he didn't want people to think
that the people on The Bachelor were just there for fame, therefore they couldn't go on
dancing with the stars because it would look like they were just looking for more fame.
but that was bullshit because
Sean Lowe was on dancing with the stars
I'm pretty sure
Nick was on dancing with the stars
Chris Souls I believe
Wasn't he?
Was it Chris?
Was it Chris Souls or was it Sean Lowe?
Or was it both?
They both could have been on dance with stars.
I'm pretty sure Chris Souls was.
Chris Souls I definitely was
I do remember some kind of Iowa dance
now that I'm thinking about it
like a corn
what a corn like he was like dressed like a farmer and there was corn and it was Iowa oh
I was like what's like was that me I was like what's a corn dance I grew I grew up there and I've
never done the corn dance corn dance um Sean Lowe was also on Dancing with the Stars yes um but
and I think I think Melissa from Jason's season was also on Dancing with Stars like there's
there was a history of people being on Dancing with the Stars from this show.
And it seemed like they just blocked Caitlin for very petty reasons.
But Chris broke that news.
It was amazing.
She was so surprised.
They were both so excited.
I really thought, like, I had no idea what Chris was going to say.
What Caitlin said was what I thought Chris was going to say.
I thought Chris was going to be like, do you want to be my co-host?
I didn't know what was.
I was like, what could he possibly have to offer right now?
Like, they're not filming anything.
Like, nothing's going on.
And they were obviously teasing it like Jason's going to propose to you or something like that.
But we knew that wasn't going to happen.
So, I mean, I was in your boat.
I had no idea what he was going to say to her.
But the Dancing with the Stars thing, it was cool to see how excited she got about it.
Yeah, I can't wait to vote for her.
And she's going to be so good.
She is a great dancer.
She has the skill.
She's going to be great.
Jason did say, I think yesterday or today,
that ABC did, like the producers did ask him
if you wanted to propose on the show.
Not like, not like you need to propose on the show,
but just ask like, oh, would you want to propose?
Like, totally up to you.
It would be great TV, but up to you.
And he decided against it, which was very smart.
I think that would have, that's just,
you don't need to start your life together
and your marriage on the tail end of watching her,
like, fall in love with something.
that would have been pretty that would have been very bizarre i'm very glad that they did not do that's
me too i think that they will have some extravagant proposal maybe even coming soon i feel like jason might do it
sooner than later katelyn's birthday is on friday her 30s day day they said on her instagram that they have a ring
picked out exactly so i feel like it may be coming sooner than we think especially you know good news after
good news yeah with stars and all of a sudden a proposal comes out um what else do they got to do right now to be
completely honest.
But yeah, it would have been extremely strange.
And although I would have congratulated them,
I would have been like, eh, a little tacky guys, little tacky.
How sweet would it have been when Chris Harrison was like,
so how did this like relationship start with you guys if Jason was like,
well, I went on the Chicks of the Office podcast.
And then Kayla went on the Chicks of the Office podcast.
Obviously, like Noah tweeted out old clips of us talking to them about it.
And Jason did tweet back.
that we are invited to the wedding.
He put it in writing.
I mean, Kailin has said it to us on her podcast before,
but it's a whole different ballgame when it's in writing.
We have two bachelor weddings to go to,
and it feels fucking amazing.
Right?
Like, how did we swing this?
How do we swing this?
And we know we're getting Trent to at least one of them.
Dylan and Hannah are going to have to have Trent there,
like Tyler said, as his date,
because there's no,
there's no way you can't be dancing up a storm at a bachelor wedding. I mean, oh, gosh, I'm smiling
from ear to ear. California, here we come. We don't even know where the wedding is. That is truly,
it'll be a dream come true. Like getting, it really will be a dream come true. We got to ask Hannah and
Dylan when they get married if we can vlog their wedding. Right? Like, God forbid, God forbid anything happens
to these couples. Like, we can't let that happen. No, it's our only chance of getting to a bachelor wedding.
Yeah, exactly.
Okay, I think the last thing I want to talk about before we wrap up.
I don't know if this is what you were going to say.
Okay.
Hannah Ann and Madison.
Okay.
Yes.
The last thing I want to talk about is Chris Harrison having Hannah Ann and Madison video call in.
They're in separate places, but the call is together,
to basically just ask them a string of super uncomfortable, awkward questions.
And it was, it was, they're.
I feel bad for Chris Harrison because he, right now, you know, thrives off the drama.
No, listen, thrives off the drama, like loves the drama.
Right now, they're clinging to Peter so hard.
It's like, just let him go.
Just let him go.
There's nothing else for him to focus on.
So Chris Harrison just keeps trying to make this Peter drama continue,
and it's just like, time to break free.
Time to stop asking these poor girls about Peter
when he is in a relationship with somebody else.
And the week before, like I said, I did not watch,
but I'm told that they had Barb on, they had Pete on,
they had Kelly on.
So yeah, they're really trying to...
Chris Harrison tried to, like, really get Madison
to talk shit about Barb.
Like, he was like, we had Barb on,
she did a Kelly chant, like, what do you have to say about?
Like, it was so...
She was really twisting the knife.
That question I agree with.
Because there are things that Madison wants
to say about Barb that she has not said and likely won't say publicly,
but if you're Chris Harrison,
you got to at least shoot your shot and be like...
Yeah, I guess.
I just never expected Madison to answer.
Like, she was never going to answer truthfully.
Yes, you can't expect somebody to answer,
but you can't not shoot your shot on that question.
I agree with trying on that.
Like, if you...
The amount of shit that Barb has talked,
I applaud Madison for not saying anything
because it would be really hard not to.
So I do understand Chris Harrison,
100% being like,
got anything to say,
because that would have been
great fucking TV.
Although the asking if Peter
taking Peter back,
would you guys take him back?
Was a ridiculous question.
Straight up,
that's the one Chris Harrison
should have never left his mouth.
It should have stayed in there,
bundled up, he could think about it
because I know what he meant by it
by being like,
Peter's jumping all over the place.
Maybe he wants Madison back.
Maybe he wants Hannah Ann back.
Will you guys take him?
dumb fucking question ever thinking they would say yes.
I think that was a filler question and one,
two, rile people up like you did.
Should have framed it as,
should have framed it as like,
you know, Peter and Kelly,
they're together now.
And maybe just kept it like about them personally.
Are there any new love interests in your lives, ladies?
Like,
it didn't need to go back to Peter.
Anything else would have been way,
way juicier than that.
Hannah Ann says her DMs are open.
She is, Anna Anne is really basking in the single life.
I actually appreciate her honesty.
She was all like, my DMs are open.
I'm playing the field.
You know, you never, you do hear them say, oh, I'm single, but like, she's, she wants those DMs.
Yeah.
Like, I would have rather Chris Harrison asked Madison about Selena Gomez.
Right.
That would have been way more interesting.
Yeah, but it seems like we're going to continue to get these obviously live or not.
they're not live, but these conversations between past people and, like, for next week,
they were teasing, like, we're going to have Olivia Caridi on for the first time in four years.
I'm like, Chris, I love you, but, like, Olivia has been on podcasts.
I think she has her own podcast.
Like, it's not like Olivia has gotten dark for four years.
She's been heard.
She's the first time she's coming back.
Like, we've heard from Olivia.
So, like, the way they teased it, I was like, ah, I don't know if that one's, that's, that's,
That was not going to sell for me.
It didn't actually happen, but the most awkward part of the night would have been when they were talking to Nick Viall,
and I thought they were going to read those love letters.
I thought that was going to happen, and I was ready.
Thank God.
I wasn't going to turn my TV off, but I would have held it in my hand being like, I want to turn my TV off, because that would have been awkward.
Yeah, it really would have.
That would have been tough.
Also, shout out.
I want to give two shots.
The Ben's from that season.
Ben Z, I had forgotten about him.
Benzzie.
Girls were in love with Benzzie.
I was a bet I loved Benzie.
He was at the beginning, he was my number one guy on the show.
Wow.
I had forgotten about him.
He was a nice guy, a very good looking guy.
And then obviously Ben H.
I think I gave Ben H a hard time when he was Bachelor.
I thought it was a little bit boring.
But I had forgotten about how sweet he was to Caitlin during that season.
He was, he was just the best.
No one, no one has a bad thing to say about,
Ben Higgins and you'll never be able to find somebody who does. He's just, he's just a sweetheart.
He doesn't have a bad bone in his body, that guy. He's just a real nice guy. Yeah, exactly.
I will finish by saying, obviously, I think people thought maybe we were going to get a
update from Sean Booth. We didn't, but he did post on his social media that had everybody
freaking out that he had, you know, a new person in his life and sent people freaking out. But in
reality he just got a new puppy. Puppies very cute. I will say golden retriever puppy very
very cute but that's what's going on with Sean I guess. Yeah people I mean in true bachelor
fashion they had us all jacked up about a new maybe a new girlfriend or something a new dog a new dog is
important a new dog is not not important but people people thought it was going to be a person.
Definitely definitely so we didn't hear from Sean I mean obviously
there's a lot with the Sean and Caitlin relationship that I feel like none of us know
and none of us will ever know. Like even my mom texts me and was like, what happened with them?
And I was like, honestly, I don't even really, I don't really know. It just, it just, it just didn't work out.
Just didn't work out. Not meant to be. Which is fine, because I truly think Caitlin and Jason are
meant to be. So it makes sense. I really liked Caitlin and Sean. And I tweeted, I, I know that's,
See, that's the word just said.
The segment will just end with Tren being like, God, I really like Shere.
I think that you liked them because he just had a boy crush on Sean.
No, but you loved doodle.
I did.
That's true.
But I, maybe, maybe that's it.
We love dogs.
I feel like that.
And Sean Booth loves dogs.
I just feel like that kind of sucked you in a little bit more.
People were mad at me, I will say.
I tweeted team, team Sean Booth.
and I didn't even mean it in a way
it came across where I was like
I'm picking Sean over Caitlin
I meant to just be like I remember this season so fondly
and I want everyone to know that I really do love Sean Booth
Tren just reminiscing on his love for Sean
people were just upset that I thought I was picking sides
against Caitlin I love Caitlin too
I think she's maybe the best Bachelorette ever
but I just you know it was just a really good season
Yeah.
I respect how open you are for your love for Sean Booth.
Totally.
I'm sure if I watched the season, I would love him too.
They were, they were great on the show.
They were, but at the end of the day...
From what I saw, I really liked him.
Yes.
At the end of the day...
I texted you guys and said,
I'm about five years too late to the Caitlin...
But I love them.
Yeah.
Definitely, definitely were.
And like I said, it didn't work out,
but we love Caitlin and Jason so much.
So it doesn't even...
It doesn't really matter.
It was fun to go down memory lane,
but for Caitlin and Jason to be like just so happy in their lives right now,
it makes me so happy because we will just,
I mean, we're team Kail until we die.
So it's, it was fun to watch,
but I'm glad that they're in a good place now.
And then I guess next week is Ben Higgins.
Yeah.
Right?
Yeah.
I believe so, yeah.
That'll be a good one too.
I don't know if that's one I'll watch live.
Love Ben Higgins.
but three hours of that season, I don't know.
It was a good cast, though, right?
It was a great cast, and it was a good season.
But three hours is, it's long, man.
It is really.
Like, watching the next day without the commercials is really nice.
Although it felt good live tweeting again.
I feel like I haven't really live tweeted in a while, but I don't know.
I don't know.
I did it at about 1020.
The other night, I looked at the clock and I was like, man, I'm hitting a wall.
Oh, yeah, it was so past 10 o'clock, it was ridiculous.
It is obviously a summer that looks very different right now.
Festivals, weddings, just hanging out with friends, all seems like things of the past.
But just because our plans might change doesn't mean our summer is canceled.
It's still out there.
We just have to work a little bit harder to make those summer moments happen.
Korslite wants to be right there with you by making it easier to chill this,
summer, starting with its new chill summer can featuring sunglasses that turn blue when the
beer is cold and ready to drink. Like I said, the summer is going to be unlike any other.
And while some of our favorite events have been postponed or canceled, summer doesn't have
to be. Social distancing has pressed pause on many of our typical plans, but Corslight wants to
make it easier for you to chill. And obviously, like I said, a new summer can with sunglasses
that literally turn blue when the beer is cold and ready to drink.
So when you choose to turn off, reach for the one beer that is made to chill.
Coors Light is brewed with the three-step cold process, cold lager, cold filtered, and cold
packaged, so it's actually made to chill.
Both the mounds and sunglasses on the new limited edition summer cans turn blue when chilled
to perfection.
Born in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in 1978, Coors Light is refreshing, crisp, and only
102 calories.
Coors Light is our favorite beer.
And like he said, obviously plans are different this summer.
So if I'm just going to sit in the backyard, get some sun, hang out alone, maybe read a book, whatever it is, I am going to do it with a cool Coors Light.
That's why Coors Light is the one we choose when we need a moment of chill.
So when you want to reset this summer, reach for the beer that's made to chill.
And you can have Coors Light delivered by going to get.corslight.com and finding local delivery options near you.
That's get.coreslight.com to find local delivery options near you.
And always remember to celebrate responsibly.
This is coming from the Coors Brewing Company, Golden Colorado.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Thank you guys.
The world's most refreshing podcast.
Yes.
We are here with a very special guest, Garcel Beauvais, from this new season of Real Housewives at Beverly Hills.
She is brand new to the cast, and we are so excited to have her on our show.
Welcome.
Thank you. I'm excited to be on with you guys. You guys are a lot of fun.
Thank you. We appreciate that. And we think you're a lot of fun too. You have been a great
breath of fresh air for the women on Beverly Hills. I think they needed something,
they needed somebody who just had a little bit more less.
It doesn't like it is. Yes. That is also true. But it's, it's, you know,
way more fun to watch these conversations. I feel like, like you
said you're straightforward. You say it like it is. How did you, we're curious, how did you kind of
get involved with Beverly Hills? Did they reach out to you? Or you, did you think, oh my God,
I can't do this? Yes, all the above. Yes. They came around a couple of years ago and I thought
it wasn't right. My kids were really young and it was just the timing wasn't right for me.
So then this time around, they came around again and I thought, you know what? Maybe. My manager was
like, I'm just letting you know, but we're going to pass on this, right? And I go, wait, wait, wait,
give me a moment, let me sleep on it. And I did. And I thought, you know what, I'm always up for
new challenges and doing things different. And so I thought, why not? It shoots in LA, which is big for me,
because as an actress, I'm always away. And my kids are, you know, at an age that I really want
to be around. And so I thought, why not? It shoots in LA. It's a lot of fun. Obviously,
I know the women, but I had never done reality.
So once I said yes, I was like, what the hell did I just do?
Because, you know, now there's cameras in my house and there's cameras in my car.
My kids are getting miced when sometimes they don't want to be.
And so I got to bribe them.
So a lot of things went through my mind, but, you know, so far so good.
So you said that you knew the woman.
Did you know them from watching the show or did you just know them from being in Hollywood?
From being in Hollywood, I also knew Denise Richards and I've been friends for umpteen years and also
Lisa Rina, because everybody knows Lisa Rina, but we've known each other for a long time.
And Kyle, I would see, you know, out and about.
And Erica, I didn't know, and I didn't know Dorrit either.
Yeah, I mean, I feel like...
Oh, then there's Teddy. I'm so sorry.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There's so many.
You can't keep up.
I don't mean that either.
I just...
Yes.
Right.
Yeah.
That's no shade.
by the way.
No shame.
No shame.
Yeah, I feel like it's crazy because you must know them in a way different light than we all do,
even if we watch the show, because you're seeing behind the scenes aspect of it.
Do you think that it was like you expected or way different?
Or to put it in better terms, what is one thing that is extremely different than you expected
and one thing that is like exactly alike.
Okay, so I thought for sure it's scripted somehow.
You know, I thought, you know, there's definitely things they're going to want you to do.
But the only thing that they want us to do is hang out, is be together.
Yeah.
You know?
Set up the scene.
Set up the scene.
Right.
So they just say, you're going to have lunch today with this person.
So-and-so is having a party in a couple of weeks.
That's really it.
Everything else is driven by the women, which I was surprised at, you know?
and the thing that's exactly what it is is that you got to keep your guard up because they will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat
one minute they're laughing hanging out on you and then it's like remember you said this about renna and i'm like
oh my god we're just having a good time so i got to keep my guard up right right that is that's very funny
because i feel like you know you said you knew denise you knew lisa and
were you surprised with how they acted on camera? Was it different than how you knew them off camera?
Yeah, Denise is exactly the same on camera, I feel. Okay. Rina, there's a bit of a switch.
There's a little switch you turn on. But what I think Rina does is she owns who she is, which I love. You know what you're getting into.
But I think on the show, everything's a little bit more ramped up. I think we're all,
who we are, but a heightened version of it.
Right.
That's how I feel I am.
Right.
As expected, you're putting on a show.
We talk about all different reality TV shows,
and we kind of say this for every cast member.
It's like, you need to remember if you were on a reality show, how would you act?
Would you sit around and be like, boring?
Or would you give the people what they want?
Right.
Exactly.
Right.
We always joke that the people who go on reality,
TV and then get that boring label are people that are probably just laid back in normal and then,
but for reality TV, it's boring.
Right.
Like, that's, like, that's, like, that's, you know, that's where the drama comes from when
you have those conversations when you're sitting down and, and, you know, Lisa Renna's like,
well, except you said this two weeks ago and you're like, oh, man, come on.
Exactly.
And then they rolled down.
They rolled the tape.
Exactly.
And then you're like, oh, wow, I did say that.
Yes.
How, so when you had, when you decided you were going to do this, what kind of, like, did you have
conversation with your boys? Because obviously they were a part of it. And also, you talk about,
during your whole introduction as a, as a person on the show, you talked about your, your marriage,
your divorce and kind of everything that went down. And I remember you saying, you know,
that you try to kind of keep a lot of that drama from your boys. Do they watch the show? Do they
not watch the show? No. Well, okay. So yes, I did have to have a conversation with them. I said
there's a reality show that I'm going to do and I explained it all to him. And the first thing they
said was, are we getting paid? We're only in it for the moment. And I was like, no, you're not.
I am. You're like, well, mom's getting paid. Yeah, exactly. You guys benefit from me. Yeah.
Yes, exactly. So then, of course, I had to speak to their dad because we co-parent and I was really
fortunate that he was okay
and he supported me and letting the boys
be on the show because also the show
is really about the women and the kids
come in here and there. So the boys
don't watch the show unless
they're in a scene and I'll just
put it on that scene and they'll watch and then they'll walk away.
So that's the only time they watch it.
There's a lot of inappropriate stuff on the show.
We talk about, you know, a lot of things
that they can't talk about.
So that was that
and I can't remember the rest of your question, sorry.
Oh, now I can't even remember what I said.
I said, oh, just, it was, it was, you answered it.
It was basically saying, I'll add on to the question.
Did you, did you speak with the boys about, you know, your marriage and divorce being?
Oh, yeah.
So then we did talk, before the show aired, I actually sat them down because they didn't know
and said a lot of things are going to come out that you don't know about.
Let's talk about it.
And I think kudos to me.
Mike, if I have to say that, because they were like, no, it's okay. We don't, we don't really need to know.
Like I said, do you have any questions after I said it? And I thought, wow, I guess really they
don't want to see their dad in a different light. And we made it so okay for them that we're still
a family that I think they were like, we're okay. We like things the way they are.
What about like friends' parents? Well, that's a different story.
I've always wondered the reaction.
just because, I mean, I don't know, some of them, I think, if you're in L.A., some of them are in Hollywood, I'm sure of it.
And then some of them are just...
Yeah, and that's what I was afraid of, that, you know, their friends' parents were going to say something to them or their friends are watching the show.
And some of the friends do watch the show.
And so I'm sure things are going to seep in here and there, but so far, so good, they're only care about video games.
That's all they care about.
They're trying to fix me up with their YouTubers.
They're like, Mom, you should marry this person.
And I'm like, they're 20.
You're going to be set up with some TikTok stars.
Yeah, exactly.
Right.
That also is such a, it's such a good, it's such a good, funny thing to think
because obviously, you know, they're young.
And when you're that young, everybody over, like, 18 seems so old.
They're like, oh, mom, they're fine.
Like, it's probably good.
Yeah.
Corey Extension, Mom.
marry him
that's so true
I honestly didn't even think about that
like when you're young and you just think
anybody over a certain age is like
oh yeah this person ever
I remember when I was younger like 25
was the end all be all for me
exactly exactly
it's very funny but
honestly this this season
has already been pretty
drama filled I'm not gonna lie
and obviously this
the second half the coming attractions
and whatnot look unbelievable as well.
I want to talk to you first about what has already gone down
because we have seen, I think, really, who's taken the most of it,
the beginning of the season, has been Kyle.
And Kyle was on our show a few weeks ago.
And, you know, we had said to her, you know,
how have you thought of the new women?
She was like, well, I liked Garcel,
but she has said some things about me since then.
And I'm just curious, like, where did the problems with Kyle start?
You know what's so funny?
I mean, the problem with Kyle, it wasn't even really about Kyle.
What I was saying across the board at first is that I would say things to them.
And I wasn't sure if they were afraid of Twitter, me being the first black woman.
They didn't really want to go after me.
So I would say things.
And it never landed with anybody.
And I felt like it never really landed with Kyle.
I would say, tell me how you feel.
And I would hear her say my name.
off, you know, like if we were at Denise's dinner.
And so she was like, I feel like everybody's, you know, fake-ass bitch.
And then I would say, oh, tell me.
Did I do something?
And she'd be like, no, I don't want to single you out.
But I'm like, tell me, tell me.
And she's like, no, I don't want to do that.
And then she would go off with Teddy and I would hear them say Garcel.
So that's how it started.
And then she ran with it.
You know, my thing is, I'm a grown woman.
If there's a problem, come and talk to me and we can fix it.
And I felt like that wasn't being done.
So that's why I called her out.
And now it's a runaway train that I can't catch.
I'm going to wait for the reunion and I'll catch up with her then.
Yeah.
So you guys haven't spoken since all this has happened.
And she's the OG of this show.
You know how it works.
You know, this show is not about us being friends and having a kumbaya moment.
So I'm surprised that she's so surprised.
Right, right.
There's always been that element to this show, obviously.
Yeah, exactly. And it's not that big a deal. It's like there's bigger things in the world to worry about than Kyle hurt feelings.
Yeah, and I'm sure by the time you guys get to the reunion, like you're going to say, it's going to be a bomb.
It's going to be a blowout and we're going to love it because that's why we watch reality TV. I'm sorry to say.
Exactly. But, you know, you're both going to say your side of it. And I kind of understand what you're saying about the whole thing, like not wanting to single you out because they're afraid of what people are going to say on Twitter.
about it. And I was curious as to how you're handling just the criticism in general, because you
know with reality shows, there's always... That's the hardest part for me. There's always a side.
It's never, oh, I like everybody. It's either like this person. You don't like that. Team Garcel or team.
That's the hardest part for me. I have to be honest with you. Um, everything else has been, you know,
like I said, I'm a big girl. I've been around. I get it. But the Twitter,
world and taking sides can be really hurtful at times.
And that's what I'm having a really hard time with that.
You know, sometimes I'll even stay away from Twitter for a couple of days just because I don't want to deal with it.
And just because to me, it's not that serious.
You know, but people take it so seriously.
And I get it.
They're invested in the show.
They're invested in the women.
And they've, you know, been team Kyle for a long time.
And I really don't want people to take, you know, sides.
It's just like, just enjoy the show.
Right.
It's part of the show.
Yeah, it is definitely part of the show.
So that's a hard thing for me.
And then, you know, I haven't said anything about her on Twitter.
Like, I don't tweet my feelings about someone.
Like if I'm talking to you and the blogs pick it up, it becomes a headline.
That's another thing that I'm realizing that no matter what I say becomes a headline the next day.
Right.
I love that you said it's not that serious.
That's something my boyfriend says to me all the time.
to spend everything.
Like, he's just like, it's not that serious if you really think about it.
And if you think about Twitter in general, like, this many people were never supposed to have
access to our lives and to be able to give that opinion.
So, I mean, Twitter is just a disaster.
And the whole cancel.
I think it's smart to just like take a break once in a while.
Yeah.
Don't even engage because there's no winning on that website.
Right.
There's no winning, no matter what you say.
And I feel like the whole cancel culture, I get it.
People get upset at other people for things, but we can't cancel people just because of one thing.
I feel like if you said something five years ago, now you're, it's hurt.
It's come back to haunt you.
And I feel like we're human.
We make mistakes.
We say stupid things.
And I hope we grow as we get older.
So that's my opinion on that.
Yeah.
And it's cancel.
Cancel culture is very, very prominent right now.
there's people getting canceled left and right,
especially with Bravo.
So it's just,
yeah,
I got to be careful.
Yeah,
I know.
It's,
it's happening,
it's happening a lot,
but,
I mean,
it's,
it is crazy.
Social media,
the aspect of obviously
being on reality TV,
but giving that much access
to other people,
they think that they have a right
to tell you how to,
how to live your life.
Exactly.
It's obviously,
not fair,
but what was I going,
I was going to bring
So I want to talk about, and obviously you mentioned, you know, you guys talk about some inappropriate things.
Sometimes you don't want your boys listening to that.
Yeah.
Where did you fall in the whole threesome conversation in front of Denise's kids situation?
First of all, those kids were not as close as they seemed.
Right, right.
Let's just say that.
And it was very funny to see.
Right.
It was very funny to see Denise's daughter be like, Mom, it's fine.
It was funny.
Right, exactly.
We were laughing about it.
Which kids would do.
For me, yeah, did the conversation get a little racy, but that's what happens.
You know, that's what happened when adults are together.
But I'm definitely in for, like, there are things you talk about in front of your kids.
There are things you don't talk about in front of your kids.
So to me, I'm definitely team Denise on that.
I just feel like I don't understand why those women didn't get it.
You know, you're not going to talk about everything in front of your kids.
Right.
You know, like it seemed like it got weirdly, like, kind of personal and that, that, that,
Denise said like she didn't feel comfortable now bringing her kids around them.
Right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Which, you know, that party was for kids.
I mean, Kyle invited everyone's kids.
And my kids, as you saw, were sitting in a rocking chair on their phones.
And I'm like, move.
Like, why are sitting here?
But, yeah, I thought, you know what?
That's Denise's choice, though.
She doesn't want to bring her kids, right?
And I wish she had brought her kids because they would have been the same age as my kids.
So they would have had something to do.
And your kids wouldn't have bothered.
Right, exactly. They would have had something to do. You're right. So I get it. I get it. And I don't understand why the women were making that such a big deal. Because if they were in the same situation, they would have done the same thing. Yeah, definitely. And I loved when Rhina was like, I don't even know where my kids are.
Yeah. Yes. She has always done a very good job of talking about being a mom and obviously loving being a mom, but also saying like, you don't have to come off.
the perfect mom like some because nobody is yeah exactly right exactly yeah so at this point in time
who would you say you're the closest with out of all the girls i would say denise in disorder
denise erika dorit and then after that it's kind of just a whole free for all
free for all anyone the fight for fourth place
Exactly. Let the games begin.
Yeah.
So we, like friend mentioned, we talked to Kyle a few weeks ago, and she mentioned a group chat.
Do you have your own group chat?
No, we're all on the same group chat, but let me tell you, it's been crickets lately.
Nobody's texting anybody.
It's been, unless they have a side one that I'm not on, which probably Kyle started.
That's the thing with group chats.
You never know when you get dropped out of them.
Exactly.
Exactly. Exactly.
I'm okay.
That is sneaky.
Yeah.
That is very true.
So we saw, we see the, um, up and coming situation with what, what things, things
going down and a lot with Brandy.
Have you met Brandy?
What are your thoughts on Brandy?
I have met Brandy.
I feel like I met Brandy years ago at some party, something.
Um, I knew her ex-husband, you know, as an actor.
I knew, um,
Oh my God, Eddie.
And so when I met Brandy again was that Kyle,
Kyle has a charity party at her house.
And so Brandy was there.
And that's when I met Brandy again.
I'll say reconnected with Brandy.
And whenever Brandy comes,
you know, that's when the music gets a little da-da-da-da.
Because you never know what she's going to do.
And she's true to her reputation.
She loves drama.
she definitely started the whole thing this season with, you know, Denise,
and apparently she has receipts.
I chose not to see the receipts because I want to hear it from Denise.
You know, I feel like my loyalty is to Denise.
I don't know Brandy enough to say she's definitely credible,
and I believe everything she says, I'm not that girl.
So, you know, as it develops, we'll see.
Really respect you being like, I don't want to see the receipts.
I'm going to listen to Denise.
because I feel like whenever receipts are dangled in anybody's faces,
you're like, let me see them.
I don't care which side.
I want to see.
But you have a loyalty to your friend,
and I really respect that.
Thank you.
I mean, I felt like if I had known Randy for a long time,
if I felt like she was a really credible source,
then I'd be like, hmm, but I don't feel that way.
Right.
Right.
That's, yeah.
Have you watched old episodes of the show,
Like, did you ever go back and watch old seasons?
I haven't, no, I haven't gone back and watched,
but I've watched over the years.
So I feel like I know some of the storylines.
And the week before we premiered, they had sort of a marathon.
So I watched some of those.
So I feel like I caught up on the whole puppy gate.
When I was on Watch What Happens Live,
and Andy asked Dorit, would you ever get a dog?
And Dorit goes, yeah, we talk about it all the time.
And I was like, really?
Yeah.
Right. Has there been enough time?
Yeah. Is there a statute of limitation of when you should get another dog?
That's unbelievable. Do you know Lisa Vanderpump at all?
I've met her once and I, you know, I've been to her restaurants, but I don't know her well.
Same thing with us. We caught her outside the restaurant one time.
I do love her rosé, by the way.
Her rosé is great. The restaurants are great. They're fun places. We have, I've,
We're such, we don't really spend too much time in L.A.
We're both based in New York.
So when we do come to L.A., we do totally play a little bit of, like, the tourist role.
We're like, oh, we got to go to Tom, Tom.
Absolutely.
I get it.
I would do the same thing, too.
That's funny.
How is New York, you guys, with the whole, you guys are opening up now?
Yeah, it's strange.
It's weird.
It's actually on Long Island, her boyfriend's house.
I'm in the city.
and it was my boyfriend's birthday the other day
and we were just like, what do we,
I couldn't figure out what to do.
But we realized they're doing drinks to go.
So, and they're not doing, yeah,
and there's no open container laws anymore.
They've kind of like put it out the way
to open container laws.
So you can walk down Fifth Avenue with a mimosa.
Yeah, so we walked around Battery Park City by the water
just with drinks in our hand.
And we were like,
this is actually kind of nice.
I mean, you can never do this in New York City, really.
So that is nice.
It's weird, though.
There's so many people.
So you're like, ah, I don't want to get Corona.
Like, don't go to your phone.
No kidding.
No kidding.
That's tough.
How's L.A. been?
And how has been, how has it been being inside and, like, also being on a show at the same time?
Because, like, how's Bravo dealing with that?
First of all, when we first shut down everything, it was really hard for me,
because I'm a person who's always on the go.
And for the first few weeks, I had a hard time, you know.
There were days where I thought, oh, my God, is this what life is going to be from now on?
And that freaked me out.
And I've adjusted definitely to it.
But what I hate is the one woman production, like doing my own lighting, doing my own glam setting.
Like, I'm over it already.
I'll get the corona.
If somebody else can do my makeup.
So Bravo, you know, they, we've only, we've already done the whole season, but it's just the interviews, confessionals.
So now what they do is they'll have one person come to your home, set it up, they leave, we do our interview, and then that person will come back.
And, you know, they're gloved and masked and the whole thing.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That makes sense.
We saw that with the Vanderpump Rules reunion.
They did all, all Zoom.
Do you think they're going to do that for?
God, I hope not.
I hope not.
I hope not.
We need to be face to face.
I agree.
I think you also need to be face to face.
It's just, and, you know, the Zoom communication is great, but definitely for watching.
It's not the same.
It's not the same.
Like, watching these reunions for shows that are, they had to film their reunions,
obviously during this, during this time.
It's definitely not the same.
It's not as confrontational.
Right, exactly.
And what do you do?
You're going to close your laptop if you're upset, like,
I mean, really.
I'm done.
I'm done.
Rips out, Mike.
Exactly, exactly.
It'll, yeah, hopefully you'll be able to go ahead, Rio.
Yeah.
Now that you've, you know, you've got one season under your belt,
how do you feel about going forward and do you see yourself sticking around in this franchise for longer?
That's a very good question.
It depends on the day.
you know, I'm going to get through the reunion and go from there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's, I feel like that's how.
I like it.
Right, right, right.
Keeping us on our toes.
You're right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It makes sense.
Now, you have your beautiful podcast set up there.
You know, you have your own show now, your podcast.
I do.
Tell us about that.
Tell us how, how, how, how, what days it comes out and everything where people can
follow it.
Oh, I love.
that. Okay, it's called Go Into Bed with Garcel. And how this thing happened, like when before quarantine,
once a month I would have either on Sundays, I would have a girls day or sometimes I would invite couples.
And we'd sit around, we'd drink, we'd gossip. And it always, sex always comes up, right? And so after
every time I do this, somebody goes to me, this is a show. Why aren't you doing this? So when we decided
to go into bed as a podcast, we're like, all right, let's do it. So what we do, it's, it's,
All sexual topics.
You know, we talk about everything.
And what's really been fun is people are like, wow, this is so refreshing.
You're so open.
And then in the middle of the night, I will wake up and go, what the hell am I doing?
I'm saying everything.
I'm talking about everything.
Why am I so open?
But it's been really fun.
You can get it anywhere you listen to podcasts.
And we usually drop a new one on Wednesdays.
And what I do is I do a celebrity friend.
and a real friend.
That way, you know, we can talk about anything.
And it's been really, really fun.
It's been really great.
We've had great guests, and I love doing it.
It's been really a fun thing for me to do.
That's really fun, and I feel like everyone has that.
I don't even know what to relate it to.
I guess it's like, I don't know, when you do something and it feels really good in the moment,
and you're like, I love this.
And then for a second, you're like, wait, did I just do that?
Did I just say that?
Did I talk about threesome?
Yeah, yeah.
But it's so great for the listeners because they just want people to be real about it
and they have a place to, you know, get tips.
And somebody who's on such a big TV show, they're like, I'm going to listen to this woman.
Yeah, it's been really, really, really fun.
And everybody walks away saying, wow, you know, it's so great to be so honest and talk about
anything and feel like this is a destination where women can come together.
and talk openly about sexual anything or your bodies.
And we talked about the other day, has any, can I say vagina?
Yes, you can say any word you want on this.
I said, you've seen your vagina and I was talking to the Bella twins.
And they said, not only have we seen ours, we've actually looked at each other's.
And I was like, well, there's that.
That's a weird twin chin.
You know what, that doesn't surprise me because.
They're twins and they're probably curious if their vaginas look exactly the same.
That's what they said.
They were like, wow, it looks identical.
That's hilarious.
And honestly, I'm really glad I got that answer
because I've been wondering that about twins.
Right, exactly.
Now, you can check that off your list.
Perfect.
That is so funny.
Gorsal, we also love everything
that you've been posting on your social.
Obviously, there's so much going on in the world.
And you posted taking your boys to a protest.
Yeah.
Can you just, I know I just went very serious after we were talking about identical vaginas to the protests. I honestly am impressed with myself.
That's why we love this podcast. Yeah, that was an unbelievable segment. So I was just curious, like, how you have discussed this with your boys and how involved that you, like, they have been. And, um, because I just, it's a whole different perspective for me, seeing.
young people talk about it, but then I love seeing how parents talk to their kids.
Obviously, you know, Rhea and I don't have children, but it's just like the children, educating
the younger kids is where change I think will be made.
Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
It's been a conversation that I've had with my kids forever.
You know, my older son, Oliver, he's 28.
I've always been afraid that, you know, be careful of the cops.
you'd be respectful when you're, you know, pulled over for anything.
And just a few months ago, I was driving with Jackson, he was in the back seat.
And I got pulled over because I didn't see that you couldn't make a right on this street
that I've been making a right on forever, by the way.
Right?
And so the cop pulled me over, and he couldn't have been nicer.
And I was definitely very respectful.
And, you know, making sure that he knows, okay, I'm going to reach for my license now.
I'm going to, you know, things that we as black people have to be careful because,
our situation is different.
So my boys have always heard me talk about being respectful to cops and also just the way of the world what it is.
Right.
So when the George Floyd thing happened and made everybody stop and I feel like it happened at the right time,
because had we been going about our business as usual, people wouldn't have paid attention so much.
And protest wouldn't have been this big.
So me taking the boys to protest was something that we had to do.
do. We just couldn't sit at home and watch it. We had to do. We marched for the women's movement.
So, and they were really little. They didn't get it. But this time, they got it. They understood,
you know. And I think it's a conversation that we all need to have with our kids because they're the
future, you know, like class of 2020 can vote. And that that's who we need to reach. So for me,
being out protesting with them and seeing all diversity, you know, seeing all walks of life, you know,
Hawaii, Chinese, everybody came together. And to me, that was really cool. And one thing that I loved
when we were protesting, people who were in their cars were honking and putting their fists out of their
window. And I saw in the back seat of a car, a tiny little fist. She had to have been, or he
had to have been in their car seat. And I got goosebumps every time I say it. And I was like,
wow, that's our future, you know, the fact that kids are getting it so early so that hopefully,
by the time they're adults, it'll be a completely different world.
Well, didn't think I would end this interview in tears, but here I am.
That's really very sweet.
Bree and I have love speaking with you, and we were really excited to talk to you.
And honestly, we're, you know, not to press you or anything, but if you, they give you
another season, you should do it.
Please stay.
Thank you, guys.
Please stay.
We really love you on the show.
I appreciate it.
More to come.
Yes, definitely.
Obviously, there's going to be a lot of drama go down.
I'm very excited to see you guys in Rome.
I feel like the girls' trips are always my favorite part of the season.
Yeah.
Yes.
Were you nervous about going to Rome or were you excited?
No, I was super excited.
I was super excited because I was working a lot doing other projects.
So I missed a few events.
So this one, I was excited.
We're all going to be together for,
a long theater time and shop and drink and I got to drive a Ferrari. I mean, listen.
Yeah. When would that happen? That was awesome. That's amazing. That is amazing. Well, we can't wait
to watch. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you for having me on. Thank you for coming. Everyone, go check out
Garcell's podcast. Like she said, it's on all the platforms that you listen, iTunes, Spotify,

Thank you guys.
Thank you,
so.
You're welcome.
All right, that wraps up
today's episode of Chicks in the Office.
We love you guys.
Remember, use that Macy's discount
code Chicks for a discount
until June 21st.
We'll talk to you guys on Thursday.
I love you.
I'm thinking maybe I should thank you.
Oh, baby I should buy you another
room.
Because you don't care
And I swear that I'm here
But I'm nervous
Getting harder to hunt me down
Get away to a place
With a lake such a grave
You leave the bank, I'm a hundred down
I made it
But hey, once I build it
I break it
That might just break me down
I've been near it with somebody
With some reason who can keep me sane
But since I can't remember
I've been keeping it together
But I'm feeling strong
Get away when it ain't really safe and it don't seem right
But with snow you get used to the bullshit
Screws they go missing
It's likely they might be but you need to stay
It's ain't doing bad
Because I try to minus the problems that I attract
And after time the wheels is in the back of my mind
Just keep on turning till the tie's flat
And burn until the fire crack
I do not lie though facts may seem a little far
That's only because I may be make-believing full of darkness
When I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place
Walking, drop and change inside your empty guitar case
That's charity, um
I move carelessly, that's why I'm always tripping
I guess it's like electrolytes you help me go to distance
Not too efficient but the way it's always been
Until the day we have to meet again
Get away when it ain't really safe and it don't seem right
Now it's no, you get used to bullshit
Screws they go listen
It's likely they might be booed
