Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office, listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. Hello, everyone, H. Chicks in the Office with Rianne, giving you that Friday energy on a Wednesday. We're back. We're back. We missed Monday's episode because it was Memorial Day. Francesca, how we do in?
Starting point is 00:00:38 Good. The weekend felt so long. I think because the weather was so shitty in New York and a lot of places on the East Coast that like every day just was so long. So it really feels like I was away from this place for a while, which was nice. So yesterday, Fran and I went to the mall. We were both on Long Island. I picked Fran up. We went to the mall.
Starting point is 00:01:00 And I got home. And my mom goes. Get in. We're going shower. Yeah, yeah. Get in, bitch. My mom goes, that must have been nice to see Fran. And my dad.
Starting point is 00:01:11 My dad looked at my mom and looked at me and said, huh? I was like, mom. I actually can picture your dad's reaction being like, they see each other every day. He literally was like, what the fuck, row? They see each other every day. And I started dying laughing. I was like, it really feels like I've been home doing nothing for weeks. My mom was like, oh, wow, it's really only been three days.
Starting point is 00:01:35 I was like, mom, we see each other every single day. I literally saw her two days ago. And she goes, but it must be, it must be different when you see each other outside of work. I said, no. No, it's the exact same relationship. But it had me dying because I realized how long the weekend did feel. But the weather was so shitty in New York and I think a lot of other places on the East Coast. I really think like one of the worst Memorial Day weekend weather experiences I've ever had in my life.
Starting point is 00:02:04 Yeah, it was dark. It was, it was gloomy. It was dark. Rain for three straight days? three straight days it was tough i went out thursday night saw some old pals that was wonderful i really had a really fun thursday night in new york city it felt like oh guess what guys the city's back whatever it's been that way for a while now but it was really nice to be back at a bar that we used to go to all the time pre-pandemic and it just felt exactly how it felt in 2019 shout out to the gem
Starting point is 00:02:33 sloon i got i got to get i can't just say a bar i got to shout them out yeah but it was it was so much fun and i was like, okay, you know, it will be rainy on Friday. I'll be hungover. It'll be great. And then, you know, the weekend will come and I'll be rejuvenated. Yeah. I just didn't stop. It didn't stop. So I felt hungover all weekend because I never got a chance to get out of that funk that I was in on Friday.
Starting point is 00:02:53 No, I never. But I watched, obviously, a shitload of TV and I have another recommendation for everybody out there. I watched the entire season 10 episodes, so 10 hours of TV. And one day with my parents, we just sat on the couch and didn't move. It was impressive. quite sad but impressive and we we led into the mayor of east town finale we literally ended exactly 956 yeah and then we had four minutes there it is right to go to the marries south
Starting point is 00:03:18 finale um the show is panic on amazon prime it is really really good solid cast of actors i thought they were all great jack nicholson's son is actually in it um i think his name is maybe ray nicholson i want to make sure i get that right can we do a double check on that i he was great the whole cast was awesome and I think the show is really cool and I think I don't want to give anything away so I won't but yeah Ray Nicholson The premise of the show is
Starting point is 00:03:48 Is it his son or grandson? Or maybe it's his grandson. It's got to be his grandson I'm pretty sure it's his grandson sorry I meant grandson my bad The premise of the show Oh wait Oh is his son? No it's his son Jack Nicholson's his dad yeah
Starting point is 00:04:03 Oh fuck Well you know it's Jack Nicholson Yes probably he was like 50-ish when he had him. Well, this guy's 29. Or 28 or 29. I look up his age over the weekend because, honestly, he's playing out. How old's Jack Nicholson now?
Starting point is 00:04:17 84. Oh, whoa. Holy fuck. Jack Nicholson's 84? Yeah. Oh, my God. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:23 Well, anyways, his son. So, I mean, he was in his late, later 50s. Yeah. Mid-50s. Yeah. Glad we clarified that. But I looked it up over this weekend because they're playing high school seniors, and this kid looked so old.
Starting point is 00:04:37 So old. Yeah. God, how old is he turned down? He was like 29. But the show is about high school seniors. They just graduated. And every year, the high school seniors who graduated play a game called Panic. So picture like your high school scavenger hunt or whatever tradition you had, but taken
Starting point is 00:04:54 to another level. A whole fucking other level. Chaos ensues, obviously. They're doing crazy shit. It's a big, it's a game they play. And obviously, you'll find out the winner at the end. But it's mayhem and it's. This is an official re-a-wreck?
Starting point is 00:05:08 Yeah, 100%. You're going to watch it tonight. Yeah, no, it's really good. I really enjoyed it. I think it's kind of like, it's Outer Banks-esque, not as good as Outer Banks, obviously. Will anything ever be as good as Outer Banks? But it is a top-not show.
Starting point is 00:05:25 I'd really recommend it. And, Fran, I think you would like it because, and I think if you listen. Sign me up for a teen drama. Yeah, I think if you listen to this show, then you know what kind of shows we like, and I think the listeners of the show would enjoy it. It's very much,
Starting point is 00:05:38 teen drama-esque, but I think adults can watch it too. It's interesting. What you're describing also kind of gives me the society vibes a little bit. Definitely. It has dark. Yes. It has the wilds, yeah. It's a mixture of all those shows into one. It's really good.
Starting point is 00:05:54 Awesome. So that is my recommendation from this weekend. Yeah. I really like was, there was just a lot of sporting events on this weekend. Memorial Day Memorial Day weekend. Go Islanders. Playoffs. Yeah, exactly. There's playoffs and basketball and hockey and lacrosse and just like a ton of stuff on and the i will say i knocked
Starting point is 00:06:17 out the friends reunion which we're going to talk about and the oh you know don't not that anybody cares but it was the season finale of the chicago shows and nine one one and got all those out Chicago Med, Fire, PD. Anybody out, if there's anybody out there who watches Chicago Fire and wants to tell me if Taylor Kinney is going to come back to that show, I would love to know. I did some Googling. I couldn't find out. It was a cliffhanger ending. Is he dead? Is he not dead? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:06:52 I don't know either, but I don't know. I want, but I feel like if he was coming back to the show or not, then I have hope. But if it's like, oh, he's not coming back to the show, he's probably dead. Dead dead. And he was supposed to have a good ending and it would I would be sad. I'm sorry to hear that. I appreciate your love for the Chicago shows though. You're dedicated. I yeah and yeah and Mary Vistown obviously the finale and that was yeah the finale was was was I thought really good
Starting point is 00:07:16 I thought that I mean I don't want to spoil in it should we spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler alert if you haven't watched the finale skip ahead. First of all, I feel like you have to talk about you bragging about being able to watch it. We will talk about that, but skip ahead. Yeah, spoiler. Spoiler. We're going to talk about the MeraVestown finale.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Never forget. What did I spoil the last time? Oh, you? You. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You spoiled you. But I think for actually, before we get into the mayor of East Town finale, oh, now, but people are skipping ahead already.
Starting point is 00:08:00 You know, we got to talk about. about it now. And it's way more interesting if we can actually talk about what happened. So, Fran, you actually were on this theory about the kid doing it. I saw it. You were on it. You were like, I think this is what happened. It just made sense. And as I was watching with my parents, I was like, this is what's going to happen. And they were like, no, who's that? You know, they're like, why would the little kid do it? Yeah. And then it turns out that's what happened. So I thought it was a good, a good twist. And I liked it. I thought that obviously it started off. And it started off. with them finding out that John was the real father.
Starting point is 00:08:34 And that happened in the first minute. So immediately you knew that he didn't actually kill him. You were like, there's no way. We're only 10 minutes in. Right. There's no way he's going to be the one who killed him. Because the rest of the, well, the rest of the show is just. The rest of the 50 minutes.
Starting point is 00:08:47 Exactly. So I thought that it was a great twist. Kate Winslet was phenomenal. Just a 10 out of 10 performance. So good. Give Kate Winslet all the limited series awards. I know. I mean, the whole cast was amazing.
Starting point is 00:08:59 I would like to know, personally more about Erin's life because Aaron, the girl who was killed her whole family was fucking with her. There were so many things that went on in that poor girl's life
Starting point is 00:09:15 that we don't even know what was going on in her life, really? The whole show focused on everybody else and her being murdered. But oh my God, but how did she get in the relationship with John? There's so many questions that I have about Erin's life. I know. I have a question.
Starting point is 00:09:30 happened to her boyfriend? The boyfriend really did not play it like it was so weird because the boyfriend towards the end it seemed like he was involved in some way like where where did he go? We were never told. Remember? No. The other girl was like I got up in the middle of night. He wasn't there. Then he made he made them burn the the journals and was going after the friend. Like he really seemed like he had something to hide. Yeah. Maybe it was for DJ's sake. Maybe it was. Maybe it was. for the kids' sake. Also, Mayor's daughter, Chavon. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Pointless storyline. Yeah. I mean, like, well, like. Yeah, they got to give some. They got to give like. Like, she didn't have anything to do what was happening on the show. Yeah. No.
Starting point is 00:10:16 And I just feel like they needed to throw some other family aspects in there. So it wasn't just like hardcore murder mystery the whole time. Right. But I feel like we either needed, we either needed more. Yeah. or none of it because then I got interested
Starting point is 00:10:33 in her relationships and invested. Right. And then it was nothing and it was like, oh, well now I know nothing about these relationships.
Starting point is 00:10:40 I don't know who she's ending up with. I think it was just, the relationships feel kind of pointless but I do think that maybe it was also they felt. They felt. I was going to call her up.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Christ. They felt pointless. Besides like her relationship with Kevin was the most interesting part in the documentary in how that affected Mayor.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Her and her brother. Yes. Yeah, but I'm talking about her. No, her romantic relationships. Yeah, yeah, it was just like an added. Exactly. And then Mayor's vaping was just like, the vaping was so random. But I, overall, great show. There was just a few things that they could have. Shouldn't Aaron's mom have been sent to jail too? Like, she totally covered it up.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Like, I feel bad for her. Aaron's mom. Ryan's mom? Ryan's mom. Ryan's mom. Ryan's mom, I mean... Like, she did equal to what the husband kind of did. Not equal, but like, she did cover it up and was going to cover it up. And, like, I feel bad for her, but at the same time, like... No, but John, like, threw the body in the ocean and, like, saw the body. They also did...
Starting point is 00:11:50 Not the ocean, the river. Yeah, she didn't need to go down for that, I don't think. And also, in that case, the least mayor could do is maybe keep the mom out of jail. I was mad when she was mad at mayor, though, because I'm like, what do you want to do? her to do like he killed someone yeah right like you're just gonna let it go that was pissing me off too because i was like oh your son murdered somebody that's coming from deep mom instinct like you can't all right but i was like i asked my mom i'm like would you cover it up like if i killed someone i think she said i think she said yeah but like yeah i mean yeah i think most moms would especially
Starting point is 00:12:21 if your kid's 13 and it's like it feels an accident kind of yeah i'd cover up a murder for somebody if they were so close to me your child my child yeah i wouldn't Wow. I hope you don't have children. No, no. I mean, I guess if it was that scenario, maybe I would. One, also, none of us have children, so we can't really speak about it, but I'm pretty sure a majority of parents, like, you know, would say they would literally do anything for that.
Starting point is 00:12:46 But if they went to the cops immediately and were like, he didn't mean, he just wanted to scare her. It went off, like. My mom always made a joke about, I don't know. I think you go in panic mode first. My dad's mom, who passed away, she said that the way she felt about my dad, my dad could have murdered somebody and she would have been like but he held the gun so nicely yeah like that's just how you feel about your kid yeah so i don't know i think i'd cover it up for my kid and i don't even have one yeah i think i covered up for you like i don't know if you murdered somebody i'd be like all right
Starting point is 00:13:17 friend um i got you yeah lory like that like lory not wanting her 13 year old to like go to jail like understandable side note though 13 year old jail doesn't seem so bad it kind of seems like the kids going boarding school. When do they get out too? How long is he there for? Certainly not boarding school. And he's not boarding school, but he sounded like he liked his classes. Yeah, I got a nice running class.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Yes, but at least I think that was a little bit of like, you know, hopefully it's not the end of this kid's life. I think that's what they were trying to say. That's another thing. Like, he's not going to prison forever. Like, if you're at 13, like, it'll be a couple of years. It was an accident. But that shit stays with him for the rest of his life.
Starting point is 00:13:56 Well, here's the thing. You can't just get knocked that off of his permanent record. He killed someone. He'll probably murder more people in the future. Yeah, he's saying to have, like, English. That is dark. It is dark, but statistically speaking, that is dark. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:11 That kid in the cafeteria deserved to get beat up. He did. He did. I'm just saying he acts out. No, he has issues. If you accidentally pull the trigger on somebody at 13 years old, you got problems. Maybe Chufie would get a bet to scare her. Why didn't he need a gun? Maybe it would help perform him.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Maybe he won't murder anybody in the future, but I'm saying, statistically speaking. Right. Statistically speaking, Ryan may murder more people in the future. It's all fictional. It's okay to talk about. Poor Ryan. Poor Ryan. I mean, poor Ryan.
Starting point is 00:14:41 Why are we seeing poor Ryan? He killed Aaron. Poor Aaron. I mean, it goes without saying poor Aaron, but it was an accident. You sound like the mom. Yes. He went, got a gun, followed her, and then, like, pulled a gun on her. I know, but he was a 13 little kid.
Starting point is 00:14:58 And I think she felt like, he felt like, he felt like. She was ruining his family. You don't kill her. He didn't go there with the intentions to kill her. He went with a gun. I don't know. He wanted to, here's the thing. I feel,
Starting point is 00:15:10 I did not get the intentions to murder her. I did feel bad for Ryan. I did feel bad for Ryan, right? When he's breaking down, he just wanted to help his family and he didn't want to see his parents get torn apart. I totally understand where Ryan was coming from. I did feel bad.
Starting point is 00:15:22 That sucks. Because a gun is scary. Yeah. And you got a gun. No, but 13 years old. 13 years old, you're going to jail. That sucks. Feel bad for the kid.
Starting point is 00:15:29 It wasn't an accident, though. The kid went and got the gun and pulled the trigger on her. Okay, but he said they were wrestling, like she got scared. But if you watch the clip. Aaron lunged for the gun. The initial shot. Then he shot her to kill her. He shot her in the hand by accident.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Then he shot her to kill her. No, no. If you watch it back, when they're wrestling for the gun, he, it wasn't like it was accidentally pulled. He took the gun away and shot her. after the first shot went off when they were arrested Yeah but then he went and killed her
Starting point is 00:16:04 I mean it's very it's I'm not saying it was the right thing to do Well at that point he's probably like well This girl's gonna tell everyone that I Like pulled a gun on her So I have to kill her Yeah it's dark It was dark and it was sad
Starting point is 00:16:18 The whole thing was sad Mares is a hero It was very sad Let's just put that out there Mair's an all-time hero The boyfriend was irrelevant So irrelevant to...
Starting point is 00:16:30 There were so many irrelevant things. We were like, that boyfriend, he's got to be involved somehow. He's in the show too much, but irrelevant. Fay was irrelevant. Yeah. She was pretty irrelevant as well. Obviously, you've got to have the side characters,
Starting point is 00:16:43 but that storyline between mayor and the writer just seemed like the writer maybe had something to do with the situation. Nothing at all. Nothing at all. Not even a little bit. And then I saw some people talking about the ending and people were confused about the ending, which I thought was,
Starting point is 00:16:58 very simple to understand. Extremely. I really like, talk about dark minds. People are twisted. They really are. People in the internet were like, oh, it was obvious.
Starting point is 00:17:08 She went up to the attic because she was also going to kill herself. What? What? The whole point of the show when she went to therapy was to face her problems head on. So the problem was,
Starting point is 00:17:19 I need to get up to the attic because I haven't gone up there since my son killed himself. Especially what the therapist said, have you been up to the attic yet before? After that happened? And she said no. So it was like,
Starting point is 00:17:27 okay, now she is. this murder case is over and now she is going to actually deal with her trauma. Imagine doing that to her daughter. Like, you hang yourself in the place that she found. Yeah. That's just, that people was not the way it ended. It was insane that people thought that was the way that they interpreted that way.
Starting point is 00:17:44 It's just people wanting a different ending than what they got, which, you know, let them think whatever. Well, that's pretty dark and twisted. That's the ending that they wanted over what we think the ending kids. I mean, listen, if that's the ending that they gave us, I'd be like, whoa, you know. Crazy job. I would be terrible, but at the same time, you'd be like, damn, they went there. You know?
Starting point is 00:18:03 Just wouldn't make sense. No, it doesn't. But overall, great show. Yeah. Love a limited series like that. Kate Winslet, amazing. I wanted to address the fact that your sister's in the room because she started covering her ears when we started talking about the finale, but then she uncovered them because
Starting point is 00:18:20 she realized she wouldn't be able to hold them that long. Yeah, correct. But she is our intern for the summer, so she's here, which is lovely. Yeah. And then we got Devin who's been, Devin works for us, she works for a call her daddy. She just, Devin's doing a bunch of shit all over the place. She's doing it all.
Starting point is 00:18:36 But we all are in this room now. Yeah. And it's funny because we, I got four girls in this room and Noah's just in the corner. And I can tell before we were doing the show, the four of us couldn't shut the fuck up. We were talking about handbags. And I got a video of Noah where he was just like. It could be a long summer for Noah. I try to chime in and like go along.
Starting point is 00:18:57 with it and then at a certain point I'm like I know I was like let me ask you how much a bad how much does go for huh yeah that was good you got one of those bad boys how much they cost you trying to like relate it like oh yeah I buy watches too yeah yeah he was like I you know I spend money on watches it was nice contribution but it was uh it was making me laugh but we're happy to have you yeah you don't have a mic but yes she says thanks if you talk aloud we could hear you yeah scream thank you yeah and devon if you want to get a high in there Hello. There we go. Perfect. We have a long show for everybody today. Not many topics, though. We got a really long game of trivia, which was a lot of fun. We also have a great interview with Luann from Real Housewives of New York. And we are going to talk about the Friends Reunion because I think that's what everybody was talking about this past weekend. So let's get into it. But first, actually, I want to mention real quickly, we did see what other people were doing this weekend, even though and I weren't doing anything.
Starting point is 00:19:57 We saw Matt James, Tyler, out with their ladies, double dating and Montock, the two of them. We all knew that one gets in a relationship, so does the other. There was no way one of them was going to be single while the other was in a relationship. They both need to be in a relationship at the same time, it seems. Absolutely. I think Rachel and Camilla will both be able to bond and be like, ha, we're always going to be, but we're the real third wheels, you know? Then they'll laugh.
Starting point is 00:20:24 But the pictures look like that at a good time. Friends like Rachel already made the joke Well I'm only saying it because Rachel already made the joke She like commented on one of Matt's photos Of the two of them being like I'm the permanent third wheel
Starting point is 00:20:36 So the photos of them are cute Happy for them They look good They look happy And I still think people are surprised About Camilla and She's been around for a while They've been
Starting point is 00:20:47 I think people didn't realize Tyler had a girlfriend Yeah I think people 100% his girlfriend Yeah definitely And Matt and Rachel 100% fully back together completely, it seems. Yeah, good for them.
Starting point is 00:21:00 As long as they're happy. That's how I feel about it. I'm really waiting to see Matt and Rachel on a city bike in New York. Everybody sees them on a city bike in New York. I don't see anybody ever in New York. No, no one. You said on a city bike. Separately riding separate bikes.
Starting point is 00:21:16 Had to clarify for the people. That's a good clarification. She could be like on the pegs on the back. Yeah. A two-person city bike? Just like sitting on his lap. Or she's sitting on the front. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:28 Cute. I mean, you could do that. Yeah. Dangerous in the city. Extremely dangerous. I refused to ride a city bike in the city. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:36 They make me nervous. A lot of people do it, but I just think that if I, um, it's like, I think people, they see them and they're like, ah, I'll just hop on quick and get to where I'm going. You don't have a helmet. One time I and Hank got into a legitimate, like a real deal fight because I wouldn't ride a city bike. No, Joe wants me to run it all the time. We like, wouldn't talk. We like, didn't talk for the rest of the day.
Starting point is 00:21:55 It was a lovely side. Why do I want to show up at my destination sweaty? I don't. Like you say, it's like, oh, we can city bike to dinner. I don't want a city bike to dinner.
Starting point is 00:22:03 I think it would be less sweaty if you bike to dinner in the summer than walking to, like. I'm talking about an air conditioned car. Oh, yeah. Okay. Like, it's like far enough where you can't walk.
Starting point is 00:22:15 Yeah. But you could city bike. Or you could just take it out. Yeah. You're like going out and you're like dressed up. You don't want to ride a bike. Yeah. It's just too dangerous for my liking.
Starting point is 00:22:25 Like I said. You get on, you don't have a helmet, you just hear, yeah. Bikes in the city, dangerous. And people fly on those things. Yeah. And people are crazy with their cars. Yeah. All right, let's get into the show.
Starting point is 00:22:37 Safety first. Safety first, sometimes. Let's get into the show starting with the Friends Reunion. It's the day back from a long break, and I'm feeling lazy, okay? I'm thinking about what am I going to eat when I get home? I don't know. I don't feel like cooking. I don't feel like going to the grocery store.
Starting point is 00:22:53 I don't feel like doing any fucking thing in the entire world. But I do know what I'm going to do because I have a solution. And it's daily harvest because I got daily harvest in my freezer. I got the flapbreads. I got the harvest bowls. I got smoothies in there. And in just five minutes, I'll have myself a meal. I'm not going to have to worry about being lazy because I can be lazy while also getting daily harvest.
Starting point is 00:23:15 You guys know that we love daily harvest. Organic fruits and vegetables delivered right to your door and meals that could be ready in just a flash five minutes or less. Like I said, they deliver it right to your door. door. They're ready when you are and they never use preservatives, added sugars or artificial anything. Everything is organic and made healthy for you. Also, they have their recently launched almond milk, which is made of only almonds and a dash of salt. And that is it, which is super convenient because we are always stocked up now on almond milk, which is spelled M.YLK on Daily Harvest. You guys have heard us talk about Daily Harvets for years now, okay? They're reliable. They're healthy. And most importantly,
Starting point is 00:23:54 it tastes delicious. You can trust us on that. My personal favorite is the artichoke flatbread, put it in my air fry, take it out. Drizzle a little balsamic vinegar on that. And I have myself a tasty meal. And you could too. So go to dailyharvest.com and enter promo code chicks and you will get $25 off your first box. Once again, that's promo code chicks for $25 off your first box at daily harvest.com. Dailyharvest.com. Once again, promo code chicks, $25 off your first box. Go get it. The Friends Reunion is finally out on HBO Max. I feel like everybody watched it this past weekend. I think it came out on Thursday,
Starting point is 00:24:30 but everybody caught up this weekend. And there were so many great moments, funny moments, sad moments. I cried start to finish. Something about the opening, like, card that was like, they all haven't been together. And then they played the scene from the finale of them all walking out and then them all walking back in. it was instant tears instant the whole time there were things that were happening and start crying
Starting point is 00:24:56 i don't even know why i'm crying i just can't control it yeah it was really nice though it was it was it was felt like a movie i also thought it was put together really well ben winston directed it he's great and like i liked that it kind of jumped all around and you got a little taste of everything and they were playing games and talking about old scenes and then you know there were so many random things that you're like this doesn't make any sense like David Beckham, Kit Harrington you know Justin Bieber was in a fashion show
Starting point is 00:25:27 dressed as the Armadillo like it was a character yeah she was and she was Armadillo right? Yeah yeah yeah because he was Justin was the potato. Yeah it was just Sputnik it was just like really cute and and it's funny because everyone's like oh they're so
Starting point is 00:25:44 happy to be there they're so happy to be there and everyone's like yeah no shit they got paid over two and a half million dollars each at least to be there. Right. I mean, the whole thing was so funny and nice. And I think Matt LeBlanc was my favorite part of the whole thing because he was... Loved him. Loved every second of him.
Starting point is 00:26:02 He was so happy to be there. So happy. He was cracking jokes left and right. Yeah, he was cracking jokes left and right. And he just seemed genuine. Him and David Swimmer actually seemed genuinely very happy to be there. They seem like they really enjoy each other's company. Obviously, people were talking about Matthew Perry.
Starting point is 00:26:18 people were concerned about Matthew Perry throughout the whole thing. No, it was like the whole time you were like, I just want Matthew Perry to like be okay. I think he did. I think he got some new teeth or something. I think he was kind of, you know, he was fine. He was laughing. He was joking. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:33 I think maybe people are so used to his character on friends that when you get Matthew Perry, you're like, where's the charm? Where's the spark? And it kind of felt like he was being a little bit of a sour puss. Yeah. But the other, like David Swimmer and Matt, like, Blanc, they kind of just seem like their characters or, you know, Lisa Kudrow was also acting that way. And she freaked out over the bug. It was like a very Phoebe moment. Jennifer Aniston, by the way,
Starting point is 00:26:58 seems like the sweetest person to work with. She is so thankful and appreciative of every single person that they talk about. And it makes you love her even more because you're like, she doesn't seem like a diva at all. It seems like she really cherishes everything that happened to her on that show. Courtney Cox as well. I mean, all of them. I was. I was like, why is James Corden hosting this? I don't know why. It's because Ben Winston. I know, but I was like, why is James Corden doing this?
Starting point is 00:27:29 Yeah, I know, I know. I agreed with you on, yeah, I agree with you on that. It definitely was just like an inside job. Yeah, I'm not going to be like, oh my God, I loved the fact that James Corden was hosting it because I really didn't. Yeah, and, yeah. Not like it could have been somebody else. It could have been someone else. It also was kind of irrelevant to me.
Starting point is 00:27:44 What? I said, who your ideal host be? I really don't care That's what I'm saying Like it was irrelevant to me It could have been anyone And I really Ben Stiller
Starting point is 00:27:53 Didn't Okay Um Ben Ben Stiller was on friends Yeah no I know They showed them Yeah
Starting point is 00:28:03 I wish Paul Rudd was there Right I was thinking that Paul Rudd He didn't quite make it there Yeah I thought maybe Like a cameo or something Like he was a major part
Starting point is 00:28:11 Towards the end And you hope Phoebe and Mike Are still together Right And you know what I loved Because we saw the headlines about David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston talking about the crush that they had on each other. And I actually think it is so smart what they did because the tension and sexual chemistry that people
Starting point is 00:28:29 have before they act on anything is so much stronger than when people actually act on it. So the fact that they just like- Yeah, it made Ross and Rachel way better. Exactly. Because when they were acting as Ross and Rachel, they were probably like, oh, my God, I want to be with this person so bad. Yeah. But I can be as Ross and Rachel. but it's probably not the best idea to be as David and Jen. Right. And they didn't have any, like there was very funny stories they told in moments that we haven't heard about. But that felt like something that they have been holding in for a long time and agreed like, all right, let's share that. Like this is the time to do it. Let's share it. Because I think like Courtney had said it too, you know, when they were all getting emotional towards the end, like they'll never do that again.
Starting point is 00:29:13 Like once you have that reunion and you talk about everything, you have these moments, it's like you don't do that again. Like it's what new moments are you going to come up with? Exactly. Like that was it. That was the moment. And yeah, I just like kind of more about Matthew Perry. Like the, I think, too, that he has talked about the pressures that he has just kind of always felt in his life to be really funny, you know. And I think that cast is so great that, like, there was always his moments where he's like,
Starting point is 00:29:49 I got to step up here. And they were filming the show. And he talked about kind of like that incestrude of, like, always, like, really wanting to make people laugh. And they, and that's also similar to something he never really told them. And they were all like, oh, we didn't even, like, we didn't know that. Yeah. And he was like, okay. So maybe, you know, he keeps more things to himself.
Starting point is 00:30:08 And we know he struggled a lot when they were filming that show. so and I really do think I whatever the teeth situation was played a major role because it kind of sounded like he had gotten dental work done like he had like a like a Lisp kind of situation but it was just so nice to see them all together and everybody really loved Matt LeBlanc like Matt LeBlanc I don't think everybody realized it would be the moment but just him legs crossed arms crossed sitting back in the couch like has become a meme now of just like your favorite uncle or like your it's either they everybody's turn it into something different your irish uncle your italian uncle and it's like just like the picture of him leaning back like
Starting point is 00:30:53 being like hmm so that's what you decided to do after graduation huh like yeah Robbie Fox had a really funny tweet it was like so you make money off that about talking about oh you're a blogger your blogger so you make money money you might make any money doing that yeah that was really funny it is very funny Matthew Perry is also on record talking about how he doesn't remember at least three years of filming friends. So that could also be something where you're at a reunion. People are talking about things that happen behind the scenes. Right. It's a little triggering. And everything's a little fuzzy for you and also a little triggering because you don't remember shit. You also are thinking about the dark time you went through during that. So I wish people would
Starting point is 00:31:30 lighten up on Matthew Perry because I feel like they one person says something, which is the internet always one person said something. It's a hive mind mentality. Everybody runs with it. Yeah. So there's one headline that Matthew Perry's not well and then everyone's like Matthew Perry can't be doing great yeah it's like well just let him be either way it was fantastic I thought I thought it was good length you know not too long not too short
Starting point is 00:31:53 and it hit all the right spots it was funny emotional yeah and it filled the void you know yeah that's it we can we can close it was a good it was a very good rap it was a very good close the book on friends and also if you have if you have
Starting point is 00:32:10 not watch the Fresh Prince reunion. Watch that. Because I feel like that wasn't talked about as much as the Friends reunion and it was really, really good. The Fresh Prince one. They've been doing them really well and like you said it was a good way for them all to just wrap it up and you are getting the funny like Justin Bieber and Haley being there and just the love that people had for the show. Like it like you said, it was very tear-inducing the entire time you have all these regular people from all these different countries talking about how much friends meant to them. And he was like,
Starting point is 00:32:46 oh my God. Really? Yeah, I know. Really hit me. I know. I was sobbing. Yeah. When they were talking about they don't need, they don't have friends and they feel like they have friends. Oh, my God. It was, it was, heartbreaking, but also beautiful at the same time. I was thinking, I was like, oh, maybe Seinfeld would do a reunion. There's literally no way. Like, all those people would say. They kind of did one of on curmuthiasism that one time. Right, but not real. Never, never set up like yes. All those people would say fuck that.
Starting point is 00:33:17 Yeah, they would say fuck a reunion. Which is why Noah likes on both. They would never. But it's, for everybody who loved friends, I think it was very satisfied. Father's Day is coming up. And maybe, you know, the last few times you've seen your dad, he's got like a ratty old t-shirt on.
Starting point is 00:33:43 You're like, dad, you could really step up your game. This is a way to help him. Take the first step, get him some cuts clothing. He will be so happy about it because cuts is so fantastic. It fits so well. It combines comfort in class with their premium men's apparel. You can treat the dad in your life to his new favorite clothes. It can be your dad.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Maybe you have a gift for a man in your life. I will say that these shirts are fantastic. Joe has some of them and he looks great. They fit so well. The way they size them is so great because, you know, sometimes you get a men's t-shirt and it fits on the top, but it's too long. It gets too baggy. Cuts has come out with the perfect fit. The material is so amazing.
Starting point is 00:34:32 It is their signature buttery soft peek-up pro-tri-blend teas. They also have Hyperloop French Terry fabric hoodies. I promise you guys, you'll buy these for the men in your life and then you'll want to steal them. I have some stuff for myself because the sweatshirts are so comfortable. You live in them. They are so, so soft. GQ magazine calls Cuts classic Pika Pro, Tribal and T, the only shirt worth wearing. Your dad will love it.
Starting point is 00:34:58 There's no way he won't. He'll just be like, just say, Dad, you got to feel it. I know maybe they don't like to try new things, but they get their hands on these bad boys. They'll be so happy. They will not take them off. So this Father's Day, give Dad the gift of something that he'll both feel good and look grade in anytime with Cuts Clothing. Plus, you'll get 15% off your first order by going to
Starting point is 00:35:20 Cutsclothing.com slash chicks. That's Cutsclothing.com slash chicks for 15% off the only shirt worth wearing. All right, everyone. We are back for Game 9 of Beat, Ria and Fran. We got two new lovely contestants sitting right in front of us on Zoom. We got Alex and Quinn. Welcome to the show, ladies. Welcome to Beat, Ria and Fran. Thanks for having us.
Starting point is 00:35:45 Yeah, we're excited to be here. And what is your pop culture expertise, each of you? Which would you say you shine in? I feel like I know more Bravo stuff. I know more of like TV, movies and like music stuff too, I would say. All right. That's a lot. It covers a lot of grounds.
Starting point is 00:36:06 Nice split and we'll see if you guys can back it up. Fran, why don't you tell everybody the rules? Good stuff too, France. Amazing. Okay. All right, so we are going to play best of 15 questions. Whoever has the most points at the end will be the winner. We will have an opportunity to steal if the other team gets their question wrong.
Starting point is 00:36:28 And to determine who goes first, Noah will select a movie. And we all have to guess the Ron Tomatoes score and whichever team is closest, we'll get to go first. And we all get one guess each. so Alex and Quinn you guys can start and the movie is... I was going to say the same thing. I had people reach out to me personally that they think it's unfair
Starting point is 00:36:51 that the two guests have to start first so we should bounce like Quinn goes first and then friend then yeah so just like that yeah okay because they think that we're gauging our scores off of them I saw those messages someone was heated about that I love how we both were like
Starting point is 00:37:09 aha Very particular because we, it's not like, we haven't won every single one. I know, I actually don't even know if we won any, but yeah. Let's do it that way. Okay, that works. Noah, what is the movie? Okay, today's movie is Finding Nemo. Oh, good choice, good choice.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Okay. Someone suggested that to me, I can't remember the name, so I'm sorry. Shout out to whoever messaged that. Okay. Okay, so one of you can go first and then we'll alternate. Okay. Sure. So, I feel like it was really popular.
Starting point is 00:37:41 when it first came out. Yeah. I'm going to say like 79. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. 91. That's actually exactly what I was going to say.
Starting point is 00:38:00 Really? Yeah. Holy shit. I was thinking 91 or 92. Fuck. I'm going to say 93. Oh. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:38:08 Now do I just go high now? Because like, go 92. Ooh. No, but what if it's, but what if it's higher than 93? like higher I think I should go higher okay I'm gonna go 96
Starting point is 00:38:22 wow 99 let's go thank God you went higher alright you know what that was actually easier than the other time that's what I'm saying
Starting point is 00:38:33 that's straight up made it easier for us than that was before okay 90 I knew it was close to perfect I feel like that was a who who gave finding Nemo a bad review yeah
Starting point is 00:38:46 yeah ever done. Oh, whoa. That was kind of funny, though. Damn. All right. Let's start the game. I'm not wrong.
Starting point is 00:38:57 Ellen did have her moments. Let's not like she didn't have her moments. I'm finding him a little bit. Sophia Rose? Yeah, but. Apparently kid is an all-time mom. Yeah, but those are credits of those children. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Not Ellen. Okay. First question. First question. First question. And I like, we have multiple questions today that are international, which I like. So shout out to Anna E. from Argentina.
Starting point is 00:39:22 Whoa. Okay, cool. Love that. All right. So this question is to Ria and Fran. What was the name of the scooters used in Zoe 101? Oh. The drinks were the blitz, right? Or whatever. Why am I? I just keep thinking of pear stuff, you know, because they all went pairs, like the pear phone. Yeah, yeah. But I don't even think they didn't have the pair phone in Zoe 101.
Starting point is 00:39:51 I know. That was that Carly, right? 10 seconds. I don't remember. I don't remember either. Let's say, it had to be a play on Razor, right? Blazer? Blazer. Let's go Blazer.
Starting point is 00:40:07 Incorrect. Something that rhymes with Blazer. Okay, to Alex and Quinn now. Do you have any ideas? I can't. I can't think of it. I thought Blazor was right, honestly. It's like that sounds right.
Starting point is 00:40:21 I don't know. Like Zoom or something. Yeah. That's definitely not right. No, but I was thinking something with a Z2. I don't know why. I have no idea. Should we just say like?
Starting point is 00:40:35 Zoom? I don't know. Five seconds. Yeah, sure. Okay. Zoomer? Zoom? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:40:46 Also incorrect. The correct answer is JetX. Nope. I don't remember. Really? No. Not even close. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:54 I'm not even having an aha moment. I thought you would have had no. I would. Oh, JetX. No. No, nothing. Nothing. All right.
Starting point is 00:41:03 Total blank. Yeah. All right. Still tied at zero. Good question, though. Yeah. Yes. Shout out Argentina.
Starting point is 00:41:09 Hell yes. All right. This question is now to Alex and Quinn. Which one of these Disney Channel shows had the most episodes air? A. Hannah Montana. B. The Sweet Life of Zach and Cody.
Starting point is 00:41:24 C. Lizzie McGuire. D. Wizards of which. Waverly place. It's not Liz McGuire. That was like only two seasons. I feel like it could be in a Sweet Lake because they had like those spin-off.
Starting point is 00:41:35 Does that count as Sweet-Lyck and Cody? Because that was Sweet-Lap on deck. It's not the same. Are we including Sweet-Life on deck? I don't know. No, we're just doing the actual show. I think it's Hannah Montana. I'm like 90% on that.
Starting point is 00:41:50 There's a lot of seasons. Either that or wizards, but I don't know. No, not Wizards. Can you repeat the option? Sorry. Yeah. A, Hannah Montana, B, the sweetly of Zach and Cody. C, Lizzie McGuire, D, Wizards, a Waverly Place.
Starting point is 00:42:07 I feel like it. Okay, sure. Well, no, what do you know? Well, the only, because she... Time's up. Ah, right. Hannah Montana. Final answer.
Starting point is 00:42:15 Okay. Incorrect. No, I'm sorry. It's a Waverly place. It's got to be wait. Wizards are Waverly place. I think Wizards are Waverly place. Correct.
Starting point is 00:42:24 I knew that confidently. Is that a way? I'm sorry. I knew that one so confidently. I couldn't. wait to get it out. Yeah, they're the second all time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:34 The number one is Finiessen Furb. Yeah. Wow, looky. Yep, Phineas and Furb. Yes. All right. One nothing, Rian, friend. All right.
Starting point is 00:42:43 This is question three. Shout out Emily from Cleveland, Ohio. Did I shout out the last question? No. Katie from Houston. Thank you for that. Oh, thank God. Nothing's worse than, like, getting your question,
Starting point is 00:42:56 and then no one forgets to say it. Someone actually emailed me that I credited the wrong person for their question. Wow. Wow. It might have been the same question. Pop off then. All right. Emily from Cleveland, her question is,
Starting point is 00:43:08 in Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor, who was the artist Victoria F previously dated that performed on their date? Chase Rice. Mm-hmm. That's it. Chase Rice. That's correct. Fran, did you forget?
Starting point is 00:43:25 No, I didn't. I would have come to it eventually, but for some reason, Chase Y' like I got Brett Young, like I got confused there with the, I was going Chris Lane to Brett Yel like it. It didn't sound right to me but it I just came out. Yeah. No, after you said I was like yeah, that's right. All right, two nothing
Starting point is 00:43:41 reinfran. This question is to Alex and Quinn. Shout out Stefan Nia. I'm locked in. You are. That's, I mean. I hate to scare you guys. I'm like feeling locked in. Watch. I'll get every question wrong after that. Shout out Stefania from Tacoma, Washington. Which of these actors did not appear in the movie Easy A.
Starting point is 00:44:04 A, Amanda Bines, B, Michael Serra, C, Lisa Kudrow, D. Stanley Tucci. Michael Sarah. Who's the last guy, I don't know who that is. I don't know. Poor Stanley Tucci. I know. Michael Sarah. Correct.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Hey. Stanley Tucci. I highly recommend Stanley Tucci's travel show. round Italy on CNN. He was also the rapist and lovely bones. Yes. Ria can't shake that.
Starting point is 00:44:37 No, I can't. It is. Good movie, though. You've got to watch that. You never see it. I don't want to. Don't even watch it. It's a good movie.
Starting point is 00:44:44 I know. It's like one of those ones that you just like, I don't want to watch that. I don't want to bring me down. Far too many times. Like Marley Me for me. I will never watch Marley Me. Never.
Starting point is 00:44:53 Yeah. Okay. It'll just teach you a thing or two, you know? Mm-hmm. We're in front of up 2-1. This question is to them. What song did Kevin James infamously dance to in the movie Hitch? Yeah, Usher.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Yeah, yeah. Is that Usher, Little John? Or Usher and Little John? It is Usher and Little John. Yeah, yeah. I've never seen Hitch. What? I knew that I never wanted to break that to you.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Get out. It's one of friends' favorite movies. It's a top three rom-con in all time. And she talks about it all the time, and I've never told her. I could cry. I feel so betrayed. right now. I know. I just never knew the right moment to tell you that it felt
Starting point is 00:45:36 right and it felt wrong. All the hitch references I've made to you and you just pretended like you understood. I know, I get the references because I've seen bits and pieces. I have seen bits and pieces of it, Eva Mendez, but I don't remember watching it from start to finish. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:54 Also, fun fact that I found out that he came up with all those dance moves on on his own. Yeah. Well, what's the answer? I, I, is this, is it, yeah, yeah, is it one, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Slamage point, Usher and Lil' John. Yeah. Yeah. Wow, you loved that. It is Usher. All right.
Starting point is 00:46:16 Unbelievable. I, I didn't know when the right time to tell you was. It feels. Never. Like, you never were like, all the time. It's on TV. It's on TV all the time. Okay, here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:46:29 When I say I've never seen. something. I have seen it when I was way younger and in passing like my dad had it on TV and I saw like bits and pieces of it but I've never sat down start to finish and put on Hitch. Okay. Albert Brennaman. I know it's disgraceful.
Starting point is 00:46:44 Growing up like when people would ask you what my favorite movie was that was my easy answer. It's Hitch, just friends and the rest. No. I wouldn't put just friends up there. But that's a discussion all right. Wow. I don't know. Will I be able to continue?
Starting point is 00:47:00 I know. It was a wrong time to tell you. Yeah, it was. Right in the middle of the game. I'm my head's out of the game. Yeah, but you were looking at me for confirmation. And if I would have sat there right then and looked you in the eye and said, yeah, that's it. And then later on in life told you, I've never seen it. That would have been worse. That would have been worse.
Starting point is 00:47:17 You're right. All right. Next question. You have to watch it this week. Next question. Let's get home with the show. Next question. All right. We're going international again. Shout out Teresa from Israel.
Starting point is 00:47:28 Oh, okay. This question is to Alex and Quinn. Fifth Harmony had two other names during their time on X Factor. Name one of them. I didn't watch that. Maybe it's like fifth. Fifth something else. Fifth.
Starting point is 00:47:49 Melody. I don't know. I have no idea. Yeah, I don't watch it. Okay. We're going to go with Fifth. Melody. No, no.
Starting point is 00:48:00 I have no, I have no idea. I don't. I did watch some X Factor, but not enough to. Dan Ity Kane. Is it like five, five chicks? Wait, wait, let me throw a real guess out there. Yeah, yeah. So it, the fifth harmony.
Starting point is 00:48:24 It has nothing to do with five. Oh, okay. Well, now you're giving us answers. I know, but like, you've got it wrong already. Yeah, I mean, we're never going to get it. Oh, then never mind. It's over. It's question's over.
Starting point is 00:48:33 It's either Lila's or 1432, just the number 1432. Oh, would have never guessed that. See, the thing is, I knew this was kind of hard one, but I did think it was cool that she was from Israel, so I threw it. No, I have great question. Yeah. However, good thing they went with Fifth Harmony, those other names suck. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:52 1432. Fifth melodies start than that. Yeah, seriously. All right, still 3-1, Rianfrann, and this question is to Rianfrann. Shout out Allie from Pittsburgh. Who of the following was not a cast member on S&L? A, Julia Louis D. B. Melissa McCarthy. C. Robert Downey Jr. D. Bill Murray.
Starting point is 00:49:29 I want to say... Why don't feel like it's Melissa McCarthy? I mean, Robert Downey Jr. C.O. On SNL? Bill Murray? Bill Murray. being thrown in there, like, part of me says 100% he was on SNL, but then the other part of me is like, wow, did they sneakie throw Bill Murray in there?
Starting point is 00:49:52 Because it seems like he'd definitely be on SNL. Five seconds. I just don't remember Melissa McCarthy ever being like a cast member. Like a part of the event. A cast member. Yeah, let's go Melissa McCarthy. Be Melissa McCarthy. Correct.
Starting point is 00:50:06 Yes. Yeah, you're right. We would have known if Melissa McCarthy was a cast. Yeah, like mostly, yeah. Because she played Sean Spicer, but she wasn't a cast. Because she was a cast member and also like Gilmar Girls. She wasn't on SNL. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:18 And she's more like an actor. But Robert Downey Jr. was a cast member on Saturday Night Live. Yeah, for once he was, I think it was like 1982 or something. So Melissa McCarthy's more our time. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Exactly. Exactly. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:50:30 Yeah, it would have known if she was on SNL. Correct. Correct. All right. Good reasoning there. Yes. Good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:34 That's what you call an educated guess. Yes. 4-1, Rianne. Shout up Brooke from Champagne, Illinois. Champagne, Illinois. Champagne. In Hannah Montana, Miley had to choose between either Jake or Jesse. What was the iconic scene that helped her decide who did choose and who did she end up choosing?
Starting point is 00:50:53 Oh my God, she was riding her horse. She was definitely riding her horse. And she was singing that song. How many times I've watched this episode. I know, I know. I think I want to say, do you know, I think she was riding her horse and she was singing that song. Can you repeat the question? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:14 In Hannah Montana, Miley had to choose between either Jake or Jesse. What was the iconic scene that helped her decide who to choose and who did she end up choosing? We got 10 seconds. I thought that she was on, wasn't she on, like, stage or something? When she was deciding between the guys? Yeah. You had something like a scarpie. A scarf?
Starting point is 00:51:38 I don't know. She does wear a scarf in that episode. I don't know. Now I'm questioning mine. I think maybe the horse thing was, when she was like sad about something else. Okay. Final answer?
Starting point is 00:51:53 Let's just go. Well, she, she was on a horse and she chose Jake, right? No, she chose Jessie. Jesse. But that's not the question. Yeah, it was. She said, who did she choose? Was that the question?
Starting point is 00:52:04 What was the scene? That was part of the question. Yeah. Oh, okay, okay, okay. Yeah, okay. That's our answer. Incorrect. Dang it.
Starting point is 00:52:12 So, she's sitting in her room. and the pictures, she had the two pictures, and the pictures, the wind blows, the wind blows, and the picture of Jake Ryan comes in and she sees it, and she goes, whoa. And she was, like, disappointed that it was Jake, because then she goes and tells Jake, and he was like, it was me, like, oh, no, no, it's opposite. It's opposite. It's opposite.
Starting point is 00:52:39 It's Jesse's photo. Jesse's photo lands. Yes. And then she was disappointed that it was Jesse. Because she wanted to. And then, and then Jake opens the door. and he's like, was it me? And she's like, Jake!
Starting point is 00:52:49 And she ran into his arms. Yes. So she picked Jake. Yes. But it was Jessie. But Jesse's photo landed in her hand, and she was disappointed. So she went with Jake. So why is she riding a horse?
Starting point is 00:52:58 There is no horse involved. I don't know. That might be like from the hand on the head on time. I think it might be the movie. I think you're thinking of the movie. Because she's all, she's sad about something. Like moving houses. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:53:11 Wilder. Ordinary girl. This is the answer that I have from Brooke. she was sitting down outside and then Augustine opened her doors and a picture of Jake flew into her lap. She ended up choosing Jesse because when the picture of Jake fell into her lap, she wanted the picture to be of Jesse. But you said the opposite. We said the opposite. You said the picture that landed on her lap was Jesse, but she wanted Jake. That's wrong. Are you sure? I think we're right.
Starting point is 00:53:39 We're right. That answer is wrong. She definitely picks Jake. I literally, because. Because. I was thinking about the scene, remember when Jake throws his door open? He's like, you called? Is it me? Like, did you make an, she's like, did you decide? Is it me? And she goes, Jake!
Starting point is 00:53:53 And she runs into his arms. I was rooting for Jesse because for some reason I had a crush on Jesse. And remember she goes and tells, yes, and tells Jesse. And Jesse's like, it isn't me. Yeah. And they're sitting on the stage. He could be the one. He got the stage scene that I was seen.
Starting point is 00:54:07 Miley chooses Jake over Jesse. Yes. Yeah. So, bro, come on. Yeah. So point for us, right? Yes. No, we, 100% that's correct.
Starting point is 00:54:18 100% chooses Jake. It's not even Nicole. And then she breaks up with Jake. Vletta remember Jake, she thinks Jake's cheating. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Jake's cheating and just, she ends up dating Jesse at the end anyway. But no, in that episode, she picks Jake.
Starting point is 00:54:30 Okay. God, we got through that. Oh, wow. That was a tough question. Okay, so the score is 5-1 re-infran. That was a tough question. Yeah. 5-1 re-end fran, and this question is to re-infran.
Starting point is 00:54:45 Friend. Shout out Kayla from Unknown. Ooh, unknown. In the movie, Friends with Benefits, which actor and actress made a cameo as Milakunis and Justin Timberlake's ex-love interest in the beginning of the movie? Emma Stone.
Starting point is 00:55:03 Yes, Emma Stone, and then, I just watch this. And it's not this snowboarder. He's also in it, but it's not him, right? Don't even know his name. Disrespect. I don't know why I'm spacing on his name, Sean White. But he is also in that.
Starting point is 00:55:23 But it's Emma Stone and Milakunis and... Five seconds. They're going to a John Mayer concert. One of them was going to John Mayer concert. That's Emma Stone. That's on the John Mayor concert. Final answer. I don't.
Starting point is 00:55:41 It's not coming to me. Not coming to me either. God damn it. No. You're going to take a guess or nothing? No. I can't even give you a name. Jason Siegel.
Starting point is 00:55:52 Okay. So Alex and Quinn. Well, it was the guy, and you like said her eyes were really big. Remember that? Mm-hmm. Who was that? Oh, my God. Have you seen this movie? No, I have seen it.
Starting point is 00:56:07 And it's like one of the few movies that I've seen it. I can't even think of it. Oh, my God. Let's make an educated guest. Who was, like, famous at that time? Five seconds. I don't know. Um.
Starting point is 00:56:30 guess. It's going to crush me. Final answer. I don't know. It's Emma Stone and... Should we just say Sean White? Not him. Sean White, it's not him, but I don't know.
Starting point is 00:56:44 Andy Samberg. Oh, shit. Yep. Yeah. Yeah, that wasn't going to come to me. That hurts. I think maybe if I thought a little bit longer, it would have... Yeah.

Starting point is 00:58:51 My dad said it all the time. You know what's sad is like when you hear an iconic line that you know is an iconic line because everybody makes that reference, but you don't understand the reference. But you know that, like you know it's a reference. Now I'm mad that I said I know movies because I really clearly don't.
Starting point is 00:59:13 Is it like, um, I don't know. Play it again. Do you like apples? Yeah. Well, I got a number. How do you like them, apples? Just say around the movie.
Starting point is 00:59:36 No, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. You guys got to start making guesses. Even if you don't know, you got to throw something out there. Throw any movie out there. No, I can't.

Starting point is 01:00:11 I want to go with like Goodwill hunting or something like that. I don't think it's Goodwill hunting. No? Because I think I'd remember. Dead Poet Society or like something that sounds like, something Italian. My dad, like, always says this and I feel like it's got to be. Goodfellas or something. Something.
Starting point is 01:00:27 It's not good fellas because I feel like you would have chose a different line from Goodfellas if it was Goodfellas. Is it like taxi driver or something like that? Go ahead. I'm just going to say that. Final answer.
Starting point is 01:00:39 Yeah. Incorrect. It's Goodwill Hunting. Oh, you son of a bitch. I knew it was Goodwill hunting. It's fucking Ben and Matt Damon's voice. How do you like them apples? They all laugh.
Starting point is 01:00:51 Oh, shit. I'm disappointed in you for that. I should have fought harder on that one. Yeah. I'm so sorry I have nothing to say you just it's been knife after knife this round

Starting point is 01:01:20 that was really bad by me yeah it's like you know the whole Harvard scene yeah right after that Yeah, not so on the diner. How do you like?
Starting point is 01:01:28 Yep, yep, yep. Oh, I mean, Matt Damon also has a very distinct voice. Yeah. You know? Yeah. I'm really embarrassed. You should be. Listen, we all have those questions.
Starting point is 01:01:42 Remember boom boom, pal? Yep. Listen. It happens. It happens. Oh, my God, I feel terrible. Oh, my God. I'm so down bad.
Starting point is 01:01:52 I was so locked in and I'm so not. All right, let's get on with the show. We live and we learn. Sometimes baseball players strike out. Sometimes they hit home runs. Oh, also that was from Emily from South Shore and Matt, so that would have given it away kind of. I didn't say the shoutout.
Starting point is 01:02:09 You should have done that. Also, also, how about me being like, no, it's got to be Italian because my dad says it all the time. I was like, I'm pretty sure that was a Boston accent. I hate myself. I'm so mad at myself. Okay. All right, moving on.

Starting point is 01:05:28 Oh, it's a box of, it's like, Baking powder. I think it's baking powder. Or baking soda. Baking soda comes in the box. The one, that's what comes in the box? Yeah. Then I think it's baking soda. Yeah. Okay. Okay, baking soda?
Starting point is 01:05:44 Incorrect. No! I really wanted you to get that. Oh, oh, it sounded like it was close. I think it's, uh... I mean, anything in the grocery store is kind of close. I've never watched Gilmore, girls, so there's no way I'm going to... I can just throw anything from the grocery store out there.
Starting point is 01:06:09 toothpaste Like I don't know why I want to say laundry detergent I don't know why I want to say beans is it like a can of beans That's my final answer I don't know why beans was the only thing I could think of Corn starch corn starch Corn starch is very close to baking soda That was really close

Starting point is 01:08:21 The hip was a girl, I think. Yeah, it is. It is a girl. Why do I feel like it's like Julia Roberts or Cameron, D.A. No, it's not Cameron D.S. All right. Time is up. Julia Roberts? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:40 Okay, so David Schumer, Chris Rock. Alan Rickman. And then Julia Roberts. That's fine. It's fucking Alec Baldwin. No, it's not. No. Ben Stiller.
Starting point is 01:08:51 It's Ben Stiller. Chris Rock. David Swimmer. Jada Pinkett Smith. Oh, why was I thinking? When they said that, I was like, oh, Alex Baldwin, that sounds right. But no, Ben Stiller, yep.
Starting point is 01:09:01 You were close by just, like, throwing out famous comedians. I think I would have got Ben Stiller if I would have kept going. Yeah, I think he would have. If we had unlimited time. I was never, Jada Pinkett Smith was never going to go. No, never.
Starting point is 01:09:12 Ben Stiller's always at the top of my brain, though. Yeah, yeah. I'm honestly, I'm surprised you didn't like throw out Vince Vaughn. Yeah, Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller. Yeah. Owen Wilson. Damn, okay.
Starting point is 01:09:23 That was a good question. All right. Still 5-1, Rianne, we have two questions left, both from Kate from Brooklyn. So shout out Kate for the last two questions. This one is to Alex and Quinn. What are the two rival families' names
Starting point is 01:09:37 and cheaper by the dozen, too? What? What? Do you need to excuse yourself from the room? I do. Holy shit. I have no. That was so rude.
Starting point is 01:09:54 I'm sorry. I've never seen that movie. I've never seen it. Neither here. And the... I've never seen. The Smiths. Okay.
Starting point is 01:10:05 That's what we're going with. Incorrect. The baker's in the mirtas. Yeah. Correct. Yeah. You guys know how much I loved you by the doesn't too No I know but the noise you made into the microphone

Starting point is 01:10:33 A lot of questions wrong Getting sorry in advance sneaky a lot of questions wrong Okay final question Okay This one is Therian Fran who are up 6'1 which one of these TV shows did Taylor Swift guest star on? A, Grace Anatomy, B, New Girl, C, Parks and Rec, D, Law & Order
Starting point is 01:10:55 and Order. Every actor known to man was on Law & Order. Say them again? A, Grace Anatomy, B, New Girl, C, Parks and Rec, D, Law & Order. I don't think any of those first three. Law and Order. It's got to be Law & Order, because it's definitely not, she was never on Parks and Rec. Yeah, yeah. Let's go with law and order. D.
Starting point is 01:11:21 Incorrect. Oh, what? Wow, okay. Okay, Alex and Quinn, chance to get one last one. Can you say the first three options? It was Parks and Rec, New Girl, and One? It's Grace Anandami, New Girl, Parks and Rec. She was not on New Girl.
Starting point is 01:11:36 I just watched that. I don't think she was on Grey's Anatomy. Like, I know Demi Lovato was on Grace Anatomy, but I don't think she was. So. But I'm trying to think of when she would have been on Parks and Rec, and I don't. No, what was the other one? No, it was Parks and Rec, new girl. Gray's Anatomy, and then...
Starting point is 01:11:56 I think maybe it's Gray's Anatomy. So I would say Grace Anatomy. Okay, we'll go with Grace Anatomy. Incorrect. It's New Girl, right? New Girl. When was she on New Girl? That's what I was thinking, but you were so confident that it was.
Starting point is 01:12:09 I just read watched it. In season two, episode Table 34. What episode number is that? Because I have no joke. I'm watching... I've been putting on New Girl at night, and I watched, like, three episodes from season two last night, and I feel like I was just this close to see.
Starting point is 01:12:28 I don't watch her the till. I didn't realize that. She's in an episode of New Girl? I just watched New Girl. I feel like I would have remembered that. I know. I also do, and I didn't see her in it. The only reason I thought Law & Order is because everybody has been on Law and Order.
Starting point is 01:12:43 Wow. She just has, like, a New Girl cameo? Interesting. No one seems like he's not confident about this. I just want to make sure. Yeah, there is. There is. I see a clip right here. New Girl Taylor Swift's scene. My family says, I want to marry you in a...
Starting point is 01:12:57 She's playing like... She's like in the audience right here. Oh, Shibby. I've loved you since the first grade. Oh. And I'm so lonely without you. I just lay awake at night and I just write about you in my journal. Yep, yep, yep.
Starting point is 01:13:09 Yep. I remember it now. It was a brief moment. Yeah. Yep. All right, well. Okay. Grand Fran went again. Six one.
Starting point is 01:13:18 Tough game, but a fun one. Tough one. That was tough. No, that was tough. There's a tough, hard questions. I liked those questions a lot, though. Good work, everybody. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:26 And thank you, Alex and Quinn. Thanks for having you. Yeah. Thank you. You know, I think, like, it's funny because I feel like Noah's going to get all these messages of like, we could beat them. We swear. Oh, I've gotten. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:39 A lot of people are confident that they would kill you guys. So get them on the show. I want someone who's messaged you being like they're going to go down. I want to. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Record, we were very not confident.
Starting point is 01:13:54 Well, we appreciate you guys coming on and doing this with us. And that's another game of Beatry and Fran. Guys, Father's Day is coming up. But you should be thinking about your mothers, okay? I know nobody wants to think about this. Husbands, too. Your husband, I'm going to get there. I just, I know.
Starting point is 01:14:14 That just popped in my head. Like, I kind of forgot that husbands can be fathers. No, but that mom. like by father's day gifts. Yes. For their husbands. Yes. Of course. I was going to get to that. I know. I know. I zips. I forgot. Listen, I know this is uncomfortable.
Starting point is 01:14:30 All right, everybody, this is an uncomfortable thing. And I got to put it out there. If your parents are still together, right? My parents are a happy 30th anniversary. Statistically, they're probably not. Statistically, no. The divorce rate is high. So they might not be together. And I'm sorry in that case. But my parents are still together.
Starting point is 01:14:48 Okay. And they, God bless you. have been, yeah, God bless them. They've been together for over 30 years of those two, those crazy kids. And my mom told me that she still puts out. And honestly, I'm thinking about my mom this Father's Day. And I'm like, I don't even know if you can do this. I'm thinking of my mom. I'm thinking about my mom. Are my dad's balls, Harry? I don't know. I don't know, man. I don't know. are they? It's not a question I want to ask myself. It's a question my mom needs to ask herself about my dad. You just want to recommend this to her and they never think about it again. I just want to say, Mom, I got a tool for you and that's the end of the conversation. I don't want to know any other
Starting point is 01:15:32 details about whether or not you need it. But I know some other people out there thinking, oh my God, my husband, my boyfriend, whoever it may be, they need this. They got to trim it down there. It's getting wild. It's looking like a forest. I can't even see. I can't even see the prize. I can't even get to what I'm trying to get it. This is taking a turn. It is. But they're blinded. They can't even see the goal at the end because they're blinded by the hair. We got a prize goal at the end.
Starting point is 01:15:58 You know what I'm talking about. I know what you're talking about. And if the hair is blocking it, it's going to be a mess. Now listen, I'm not saying you need to be fully shaved. We like a little something. Everyone has their personal preference. Everyone has their own preference. This helps you achieve that personal preference. Exactly. So you can keep it. You can keep the hair.
Starting point is 01:16:17 just keep it nicely trimmed. And we even mentioned what we're talking about one time. I'm getting there. I'm getting there. Okay. You can keep it nice and trimmed. Just keep it clean, okay, everybody. And you can do that with Manscaped.

Starting point is 01:17:29 Get the men in your life a gift they'll never forget just like this ad. Okay, everyone, we are here with a special guest. We're here with Luanne De LaSseps from Real Housewives of New York. The One and Only. The One and Only. We're on season 13 of Real Housewives of New York. You know, we're on episode about five right now. So we're creeping in into the season.
Starting point is 01:17:51 How's it going? Oh, we did forget to say before we started, we did watch tonight's episodes. This airs tomorrow. So everybody will have watched the episode tonight. Okay. Yeah. Important clarification. Important clarification.
Starting point is 01:18:04 But how's it going? How are you? I'm great. I'm great. I'm spending some time in the Hamptons and enjoying some quiet time and enjoying that the season's airing, and it's in the bag, and it's a great season.
Starting point is 01:18:20 So I'm excited for the fans. You know, I think that, you know, having a new housewife is exciting. You know, we're only five on the show this season. So it's like it's a small cast. It feels very tight-knit. And, you know, I guess during COVID, you know, we filmed during COVID, Black Lives Matter and matters and an election.
Starting point is 01:18:42 Yep. So it was crazy filming when we did. But at the same time, I loved it because I had something to do. I had something to get dressed for. I had somewhere to go. And, you know, a lot of people can't say the same. And so I felt very fortunate that I had these group of ladies that I could hang out with, you know, good or bad, you know.
Starting point is 01:19:02 It didn't matter at that point. I was like, I was like, bring the drama. I don't care at this point. I just want to see people, you know? Absolutely. So, of course, you know, there's. There's always drama. There's always drama having a new person, you know.
Starting point is 01:19:16 So it's fun to kind of watch her get her feet wet. And I think that she makes a great addition to the cast. I don't know what you girls say. I have been loving it. I think it's great. And I think, like you said, it's hard. You are such a small cast. And then I think that because you, Ramona, Sonia,
Starting point is 01:19:36 have been such a close group that the three of you have been doing this for so long together. that I imagine as a new woman coming in, it's got to be tough. And I do like, I feel like Ebony has really, she jumped right in and was like, I'm going to go head first and try my best here. And so far, I feel like she has done a really good job because like you said, it's a small cast.
Starting point is 01:19:59 If you don't get along with two of them, that's half the group. Exactly. Exactly. Yeah. So, yeah, she's a strong woman. She's strong. She's intelligent. She's,
Starting point is 01:20:11 She's beautiful. And so, yeah, I think she's fitting right in. Definitely. Now, obviously, you've been doing the show a long time, and you're watching it back now. How is it watching it back? Do the feelings change year after year? Does it get easier, or is it kind of the same anxiety maybe watching the show back? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:36 I don't have a lot of anxiety watching the show because I kind of know what's going down. Obviously, the edit, et cetera, is different sometimes than you would have liked it. So that's the only anxiety-inducing part of the show is like, really? I said that, but I wish they would have put that in or whatever. So that's where the anxiety comes from. But I've been doing it for so long. I remember in the very beginning, Jill and I, you know, she'd want to watch the episode as soon as we got it.
Starting point is 01:21:12 And sometimes that would be at like 8 o'clock at night. And I would say to her, I'm not watching that episode at night. No way. Because, you know, then I won't sleep all night, like wishing this had gone differently or that had gone differently or whatever. So, and, you know, I really try to separate myself from the show because I do have my real life, not that you're not seeing my real life on the show. You're just seeing a smidgen of my real life.
Starting point is 01:21:35 on the show. So, you know, I've got my cabaret show that I'm working on and, um, and, you know, I'm working on this non-alcoholic beverage, which is, um, going to be great and elevated, kind of sparkling, uh, rosé, which I call foset. I was going to say, is it the foset. It's the foset all day. Yeah. You don't get drunk. Um, so or fall into a bush. Yeah. So anyway, so, you know, my life is full. I have children. I'm dating, you know, I have a And, you know, you get to see some of that. You know, you see Garth on the episode and yeah. You see me try to fix up Sonia during a pandemic.
Starting point is 01:22:14 I mean, to get a male in your house, period, was almost impossible. So, you know, those women should be so grateful. At least I had guys around. I don't think I saw any of them bringing a guy around to you. I have not. I have not. But at Garth was a huge topic of conversation. It was either, you know, some of the ladies seemed to love him.
Starting point is 01:22:34 Sonia didn't really seem like she was happy for him to him to be around. But I believe on the episode or one of the episodes, you said you guys met on Hinge. Yeah, we met on a dating app. And so, you know, it was during a pandemic, you know, and just to have male company and energy was just amazing at that point that, you know, to meet somebody new and during that time was already a big deal. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:08 And so, you know, I, I enjoyed it. You know, we, you know, we sizzled and then we kind of fizzled, which is fine. Because it was a good distraction during the pandemic. Yeah, definitely. Why did you? And he was a six foot five long, blue-eyed. Very handsome man. I will say, you know, watching him cook the curry and helping you guys out.
Starting point is 01:23:30 And it's, it definitely seemed like he. came in handy. Why do you think it kind of bothered Sonia so much? Well, I think Sonia, you know, I would like to be in a relationship. I think Sonia would like to have a boyfriend. I think that, you know, that
Starting point is 01:23:45 bothered her. And I think it bothered her that he was taking up my time because Sonia Rita loves to be with Lou. That is true. A little bit of jealousy. Yeah. But you're on dating apps. Are you on Hinge? Are you on No, not anymore? No. Not anymore.
Starting point is 01:24:00 Darling, since the pandemic's over, I like to deal in real. Yes. So is this new boyfriend? Yeah. We saw the headlines on page six. You got a new boyfriend. Let's hear about him. Well, listen, you know, he's somebody I met while I was traveling.
Starting point is 01:24:18 And he's, you know, an ex-NFL player. And, you know, he's tall, dark, and handsome. He is. And lovely. So, you know, I just keep on stepping in it, girls. Don't ask me. I am not asking any questions. I am just enjoying myself and we're dating and it's been fabulous.
Starting point is 01:24:42 I love that. And you introduced him to the other ladies? No, no, no, no. Nobody's met him. I mean, I just happened to see Jill Zarin, who wanted to get together in the Hampton. So I organized a dinner and I brought him along. And Jill loved him. Jill was like, oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:24:58 Oh, my God. God, he's so gorgeous. Yeah. Anyway, so. And, you know, and he's lovely. And he's a tennis pro also. So, and we know how much Jill Zeran likes to play tennis. Yes.
Starting point is 01:25:09 So that we do, that we do. Now, I love that you and Jill are still so close. Like, do you ever think, and I miss Jill on the, I miss Jill on the show a lot. Do you ever think that she would come back to the housewives? Well, listen, I've tried to bring her back many times, you know. Last year it was Halloween party. Right. The year before she came over here for a lot.
Starting point is 01:25:29 You know, so I'm always trying to bring Jill around. And, you know, ultimately it's not my decision, but, you know, I'm always trying to bring her back because I think, you know, she's an OG and I think she would be great, you know. I'd like to bring a couple girls back. You know, Aviva would be great to have back. You know, Dorinda, I don't know if she'd be willing, but, you know, of course, you know, Durinda and I are so close. So, you know, we'll see what happens. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:57 Do you ever wish that the cast was bigger? And, of course, Gensley. Right. For the Gensley. Yep, very true. Do you ever wish that... Yeah, I felt heartbroken for her. I felt heartbroken for her.
Starting point is 01:26:07 I didn't work out with Scott. But she dodged a bullet. Yeah, definitely. Definitely. And we would all love to watch whatever her next chapter is as well. So hopefully that's something that she thinks about. Do you ever wish that the cast was more women? Because, like we said, there's only five.
Starting point is 01:26:22 Do you want more? Are you good with keeping it small? I think, you know, I think it'd be good to have more women on the show because you know, it's a lot to carry as five women. I think, you know, the more personalities you have around, the better. I mean, look at Beverly Hills. What are they like, seven, eight? I don't know how many cast members they have.
Starting point is 01:26:41 But I just think it adds a nice dynamic to have, you know, more cast members. And, you know, I'd like to see some of the OGs coming back as opposed to new people. Right. I agree with you on that. I like, I miss them when they're gone. And we did have, you know, this last episode. and previous episodes, Heather has been back with you guys. She was on this trip with you in the Hamptons.
Starting point is 01:27:04 And we saw you all at dinner and Leah brought up the podcast, Heather's podcast. How did you feel about that? Because she was kind of like, she kind of threw a dig at you and then was like, I'm not backing down from it. Well, I, you know, I think that she wants to be dramatic in terms of selling her little podcasts, right? Right. So, you know, so she's bringing up old drama from years ago.
Starting point is 01:27:33 And so for me, it's like I let that stuff roll off my back because, listen, if I listen to every thing that people said about me in the past, et cetera, you know, I wouldn't be sitting here. So I just, I feel like, you know what? It's so, I like swipes left or right or however you want to call it when I saw this. But Leah brought it to my attention and, you know, she said some things that she shouldn't be saying. because, you know, first of all, they're not true. Second of all, she likes to party more than anybody I know. So let's, you know, let's not throw stones at glass houses. And let's not use Luanne to sell your podcast.
Starting point is 01:28:13 You know, surely there's other people you can talk about. And, you know, I wasn't happy about it, obviously. And I, you know, I didn't, you know, everybody was jumping on her. So I was like, you know, it's not cool. she knows it's not cool and you know and in the end you know she came to me and was like you know I'm sorry I want to be friends etc I just you know for me if you you know if you cross me once as they say you know shame on shame on her if you cross me try shame on me so I just feel like you know she crossed a line you know I have children you know to be throwing out things like this
Starting point is 01:28:53 is not okay definitely and I think you know we both were like laughing because you had a very funny reaction that got, you know, meamed all over the place of, you guys asking, you know, who was the guest and her saying, Carol? And it was like, oh, I hate that bitch. It was, it was hilarious. It was so great. I thought it was so mean.
Starting point is 01:29:16 I looked at it. And I was like, oh, my God, you're so mean, Luke. But, you know, Carol has, Carol has been awful. And a, and I think a house, that you don't want to be, who is a disgruntled housewife after, you know, leaving the show, which is not the truth. She never left the show. She just didn't get asked back.
Starting point is 01:29:39 And that's the reality. And, you know, and she's been, you know, categorically saying bad things about me, about whoever. I don't care. I don't follow Carol Radzville. But, you know, so I felt like, you know, it was the moment to really kind of. Talk about how I really felt about her. And obviously you can see. And Radzville, don't ask me over that kid.
Starting point is 01:30:05 Here's the thing, though, even though that might be like a mean phrase, like I hate that bitch or whatever. But when somebody deserves it, I feel like they deserve it, right? When I watch Real Housewives and I see you guys say things like this, and you're like, I hate that bitch, Carol. I'm like, you know, I got to start talking like that again. I got to start letting it fly. Well, no, darling.
Starting point is 01:30:23 She doesn't talk like that. That's the thing. No, when they wrong you, Lou, Lou, you have to. I'm kidding. I did write the book on manners and etiquette. So, you know, I don't, and it's no, it's not, you'll never see me like really swear or say things like that. So it was a little jolting for me, but it just came flying out of my mouth. And, you know, sometimes, you know, for me, it takes a lot to push me to the point of saying something angry like that.
Starting point is 01:30:51 Yeah. I mean, it's really, it's the last stop for me. And so, but I just feel with this woman, you know, that. I kicked her off the train a while ago. And once somebody crosses the line like that, it's hard for me to even go back. And I think people can see that. I think, you know, if you just said that out of nowhere
Starting point is 01:31:11 about any person who didn't do anything wrong to you, obviously people would have a different opinion. But when you know somebody has wronged you so many times, like, all right, let it fly. I mean, I enjoyed Carol when she was on the show. But, you know, now, like you said, she speaks in a very negative way about the show. and even like after these past comments
Starting point is 01:31:29 she said she I saw she commented on Instagram after the you know Heather I posted something about being on an episode and Carol commented saying I suppose they have to have something to talk about on that show like you know so there's always like little digs laughable and not only does she
Starting point is 01:31:49 bashed the housewives you know she bashes Andy you know and that's not cool not our answer doesn't come for Andy right and you know it didn't work out for you darling don't be disgruntled it's just didn't happen for you and you know to talk negatively just makes her look bad yeah yeah yeah not us at the end of this last episode we saw kind of all of you guys get into a disagreement at um at the table after painting that wonderful nude man and you all uh and and it kind of blew up a little bit and
Starting point is 01:32:23 Ebony kind of and left the house and how did you feel after that conversation and I know I look like in the preview we see you guys kind of mend it but it's it seemed upsetting in the moment it was it was it was I felt terrible because you know I never want anyone to be upset you know in my house yeah you know I'm a hostess you know I I love to entertain I love to have you know to cook for my friends sing to my friends, tell jokes to my friends. This is why I have a cabaret career. And, you know, so for someone to feel uncomfortable here really was upsetting to me. And it was certainly not my intention.
Starting point is 01:33:02 I just think that what happened was it just, there was a major lack of communication. And once we communicate how we really felt, because it just got heated, and then there was no turning back. And that's why when she said, I should leave, I was like, you're right. You know, it's you need a time out. I need a time out. Yeah. So, and I think people have to do that. You know, when things get heated and you're not communicating in the right possible way or in a good way, I think it's good to take a time out, take a breather, think about it.
Starting point is 01:33:35 And so that's what you're going to see kind of turn around is that, you know, we disagree. Then we come to the table and we talk and, and then we, you know, kind of find a balance. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. episode. At least we saw a preview. Yeah, we, you know, I have a lot of respect for Ebony. I think she would say the same about me. And so, you know, and I think that's how you gain friendships that are long lasting,
Starting point is 01:34:06 which is even if there is, you know, not a fight, but a disagreement, you can still come to the table, talk about it, and I think it just strengthens friendships. Yeah. Because, you know, we're not always going to agree. And I think if you can get through that and have respect for each other, I think that makes for long-lasting relationships.
Starting point is 01:34:32 Definitely, because if you guys disagreed one time and neither of you can get over it, then you would know that's not a friend for me. But if you can get through that, then you're like, okay, then we can get through this. And we can have disagreements and then come back together. Right. Look how you and Sonia and Ramon are like two you guys sometimes are screaming at each other fighting and then five minutes later you're kissing and making up like it's just you know.
Starting point is 01:34:55 Yeah like I right out to the to the vineyard and Sonia and I you know kiss and makeup after oh I was so angry I was so upset with her. But anyway, I love her so much that no matter what she does, I mean, well listen to a certain extent. Yeah. Like I said, for me, you can push me really far, but once you cross a line like that, very hard to get me back. And so, Sonia wouldn't push me that far because we love each other too much. Yeah, absolutely. You're not going to get to the point where you say you hate that bitch. That's right.
Starting point is 01:35:33 Now it's Sonia, no. Never, never. Well, obviously, the world is opening back up. You mentioned the cabaret. You mentioned you're working on a non-alcoholic beverage. and you weren't drinking during the season and you're not drinking now, I'm assuming? Right.
Starting point is 01:35:47 You know, and there's a lot of drinking going on. Yeah, yeah. Yes. So it's like, it's like, you know, winning the, you know, the Super Bowl, you know, it's like to get through a housewife season without drinking is for me, that's really, I've, excuse me, one second. Somebody just tried to call me.
Starting point is 01:36:08 Sorry about that. You're back. So I feel like, you know, if I can get through the Super Bowl of Housewives and All-Stars. Yes. Yep. Oh, we are excited for All-Stars. So didn't drink on.
Starting point is 01:36:20 So it's really, you know, I'm living my best life when I, I ultimately feel better when I don't drink. So it's not like, you know, listen, I take it one day at a time. There is no, you know, it's not perfection, obviously. But for me, I mean, I'm, I'm happier when I don't drink. And so, you know, so that's where the idea came to me. the elevated sparkling fozé because for me there's really you know I go out with friends and I order a mocktail and it's generally sweet right not the right thing that I want yeah you know you're at the mercy of some bartender or mixologist if you're lucky to have a mixologist which we you know that's rare
Starting point is 01:37:00 um so you're at their mercy and so I want something that you can order which has a great look um and where you can feel like you're drinking right along with everybody else, you know, and it's not a period. And people go, oh, okay, she doesn't drink. That's boring. That, you know, that fits in with everybody else so you don't feel, you know, that you're, you're not included. Yeah. I think that's a great idea. Yeah. No, I think that it makes you comfortable. I do that of necessity. Yeah, right, right. I mean, we saw, we've seen you this season bringing it got at the vineyard. And it's, so it's a nice accessory for you to have. And you know, you mentioned All-Stars. we're so excited for all the pictures and everything we saw on Instagram, you guys,
Starting point is 01:37:46 all looked so stunning and beautiful. And I have to say, I'm curious who, like, who was the housewife that surprised you the most? Maybe I don't know if you knew all of them beforehand. I didn't. You know, I didn't know Kenya at all. I didn't really know Kyle. You know, we've met a couple times, but we've never spent any decent amount of time together. So to be on vacation with women who you don't.
Starting point is 01:38:09 know that well. I mean, I was a little trepidious about it. Obviously, I had heard Kenya as a drama queen. You know, Cynthia is my girl. Yeah, we also love Cynthia. Yeah, I love Cynthia. And so I was really a little nervous about Kenya and not really Kyle, but, you know, again, I didn't know Teresa that well. And so, you know, I actually had the best time on that trip. It was, I mean, it was first class all the way. I mean, it was private jets, yachts, catamaran, I mean, the house was unbelievable. And I really loved all of them. I mean, they're all amazing women. I mean, I can't say the same for Ramona, but I actually get into it with Ramona on this trip.
Starting point is 01:38:56 Who did you get along with the most? Ramona will always be Ramona. You know what? I really got along with the most. I mean, outside from Cynthia being a friend of mine, I know Melissa, Borga, you know, probably Teresa and Kenya. The two that I was, like, worried about were, like, loved. That's amazing.
Starting point is 01:39:16 We are so, so excited to watch. It was, like, literally everybody's housewife dream come true, I think. And we were wondering why it didn't start sooner. We were like, how did they just come up with this idea? I know, right? I think it's really special because, you know, not only do we, is it, it's not your typical housewives trip because we break down the fourth wall. And we actually talk about what it's like to be on each of our franchises. So that's
Starting point is 01:39:44 really cool. And that's really all I can tell you about it. That's awesome. We are so, so excited. And then what are, obviously the world is opening back up now. What are your cabaret plans? Oh, well, I just, I am just booking dates at 54 below in New York, girls. Amazing. Yeah. I've got about eight or ten shows at 54 below. We would love to do a show. Yeah, we would. Not that we're inviting ourselves. If you want to give us an invite. I forgot.
Starting point is 01:40:14 So not only during the pandemic, am I filming? I'm doing the sparkling. I have a new Christmas song coming out. So I'm starting with Christmas shows in New York. Amazing. That's beautiful. That is our dream.
Starting point is 01:40:27 Like I just said, not to invite ourselves, but to invite ourselves. We would love to be at a Countess Christmas show. It sounds like it's just amazing. It's great because I know. I'm so excited. I have the best, you know, director.
Starting point is 01:40:42 I just got a new director. His name is Richard J. Alexander, who is Kristen Chenowitz's director. He is Barbara Streisand's director. Oh, my gosh. And I am so thrilled. And I have Billy Stritch. She's my musical director, who, you know, was with Liza for 25 years. So I'm one lucky lady because I really have the best in the business that are making my whole new, you know,
Starting point is 01:41:09 cabaret show for Christmas. We are so excited. That is great. I'm sure everybody will be so excited to hear that. To wrap up, what can you tell us about the rest of this season? Where do things go from here? Up or down or left right? Well, you know, up down, the Ramona coaster. It's all happening.
Starting point is 01:41:32 You know, listen, we had to get very resourceful. You know, we couldn't really travel with COVID. So you have to keep that in mind. But the trips that we do take, there's a lot of action and drama and fun stuff. You know, look, we were all going through such a really hard time that I think the season is really kind of a lot of fun. There's always some drama, but it's really fun. And, you know, I think you'll say the same. I mean, watching back these last five episodes till now, it's like I'm really enjoying it.
Starting point is 01:42:03 I'm enjoying, you know, watching us make the best of like. the worst time in history, right? I mean, one of the worst times in history. And so I'm really proud that, you know, we were able to pull it off because, and I have to give my hats off to production because, you know, we could not go to the usual places. And so there was a lot of red tape.
Starting point is 01:42:26 So NBC and our production team at Shed Media really have been incredible during this really difficult time to make things work. And so I'm excited for you guys to see the rest of the season. It's really good. It's really fun. And I think, you know, you'll be surprised. There's some surprises for you waiting.
Starting point is 01:42:47 We can't wait. All the theme parties you guys have been doing make it feel like you're traveling. Yeah. And it's been, for the fan, it feels like it's something fresh and new every week. And you guys are technically in the same location. So it is very cool. Exactly. You know, from Burning Man to Breakfast at Tiffany's to painting nude men.
Starting point is 01:43:08 you know, let's see what else we're going to come up with this season. Yeah. And I feel like they've done an amazing job across the board with all the franchise, all Real Housewives franchises. I mean, just the fact that you guys were able to film during the summer or in the fall and whatever, they've done an amazing job. So we're so excited to watch the rest of the season. Thank you so much for joining us today. And we can't wait to see, you know, what happens in the winter with your Christmas cabaretia. Everybody should, sorry, sorry, what did you say? No, I said, I can't wait to see what happens in the winter with your Christmas cabaret shows. Oh my God, yes. And, you know, everyone will know when,
Starting point is 01:43:45 where and how on my Instagram or on, you know, Countessluand.com and from tickets and everything else. So enjoy the season, ladies. And thank you so much. Thank you, Llan.
