We actually didn't really talk about it much. And people, we posted like one TikTok together. And people were like, oh, my God, you guys are together. And then when we posted an Instagram story the other day in the car, people thought we were going on a road trip, but we were really just coming home from one.

So now it's. sad, we're separate, we're back in our quarantine spots. I don't really, I'm a little confused, actually, to be quite honest, as where New York lies in the stages of reopening. This weekend was Hank's birthday,

so happy birthday honk, and we, like, HBD honk, HBD honk, and then we grabbed a drink outside because bars in New York City now are doing, or many places, are doing drinks to go, so you could walk around New York city with drinks in your hand. It's fucking awesome. You're just drunk in the streets of New York City.

I feel like that's a dream. But I'm just confused. Do I still stay in my apartment at all times? What's the process? Right. I think really the most important thing that we can all do is just to follow the guidelines of what we're told. You know, like when you go out, wear a mask, try and stay six feet apart from people. That's like, what else is there to do? Like, I, That's all they keep saying to us. Like, now... Follow the guidelines. It's just like, make sure you wear a mask.

And it's tough because now the things that are opening are, you know, like, phase two, it's, we're phase two on Long Island. So you can go eat at a restaurant outside. And you have to wear your mask. If you're inside the restaurant, you know, anywhere around using the bathroom, whatever, until you, like, get to your table, then you can take it off. And then, you know, put it back on. If you get up, you have to put it back on, which is very fair.

But then it starts to get hazy, I feel like, with the bar situation, because you're drinking, but you can't keep your mask on, but then people have to kind of stay in their individual group and stay away from other people. But everybody has the same idea. So everybody's going to the same places. So, you know, we'll see. We, it's, you know, we'll just have to see what happens. And hopefully everybody, like you said, continues to wear a mask when they go.

outside and just does what they're told because New York is starting to open at this pace. And we'll see. I mean, I had a outdoor dinner Friday night at a restaurant outside. You're forgetting that we went to dinner together twice. Yes, we did. We did. But I was talking about Long Island. Martha's video was also the same.

They were also in face. People care about us together, Fran. And they want to know that we went to dinner. dinner twice. We did go to dinner. Yes. Twice. We did in Martha's Vineyard. And honestly, it was awesome. It felt kind of strange being out at dinner, like we said, because we haven't been able to go anywhere in three months or so. Friend, can you turn your mic up a notch? It's a text from Noah. Oh. I think it's funny that Noah texts us during the show, instead of just unmuting himself and saying it, but that's completely fine. I don't want to. I don't want to. I don't want to.

I turned it up and much. Yeah, it's already broken, but that's fine. Looking at my phone would break it. We, yeah, we went to dinner twice. It was beautiful. We ate so much. I can list everything we ate that one night at that nice restaurant we went to. It fucked me up, honestly.

We had just endless food. We had dessert, drinks. It was amazing just to get back into that. I was truly one of the best strawberry short cakes I've ever had. Wow. I forget thinking about it again. It was glorious. So it's good to be, you know, it seems like things are...

Right. Exactly. Like... Back to a place where we can be in public, kind of. Yes. And like I said, it's, you know, everybody, we're taking steps. So just if you feel comfortable, follow the steps. And like I said, there are guidelines.

Just follow them. Don't be reckless. Yeah, don't be reckless. Don't be an asshole. Wear the mask. Yeah. Just do it. Exactly.

If you're at a bar and you can drink, pull down your mask and drink. Do it. It will make you feel good. Last episode, we talked about Harry Styles a lot. We're not going to do that this episode, but I'd like to say, since we put out a merch that I thought was so fire and I was really excited about it. One shirt said watermelon sugar high and it was a really cute design. Yeah. And then another sweatshirt where I put Harry Salles as my therapist with a little watermelon emoji in the front pocket of a black sweatshirt.

It's super cute. Now you guys want it. But you can't because we got C Indeed. Which is just like a warning that if you don't take this shit down, you will get sued. So we had to take it down. Unfortunately, I saw people DMing being like, is it sold out already? No, it didn't have the chance to sell out. It got taken down.

Yeah. One day we'll find a way around it. If you purchased. You got it. You're a lucky winner. Congrats to you. but if you go on any artist's website or where they sell merch, they get like three or two t-shirts with the same design on it. Let's be honest. I looked at Harry Sals. Brothers put out a lot of merch. That was their big comeback, though. No, but even like every new single. and songs and stuff, they had new shirts that went with them.

Well, if only everyone could be the Jonas Brothers, because... Yeah, yep, yep. I'll tell you, Harry Styles doesn't have enough, which is why I made some. Oh, well, I bet he would have had fire tour merch when the tour actually started. I know. To bring this up again. I know, let's not talk about it again. But anyways, we'll figure out a code that only us and the listeners will know is Harry

All right. You get the point. We can keep rhyming. We can do this all day. but you get the point. Also this weekend, King of Staten Island with Pete Davidson came out. And we haven't talked about Pete Davidson in a while,

which makes me upset because I really enjoyed the times where we talked a lot about Pete Davidson. He was a hot topic. Right. There was weeks that it was like every week. Every week we were talking about Pete Davidson. He's banging Ariana Grande. He's banging Kate Beck and Sale, left and right.

He's all over the place. Kaya Gerber. Randy Gerber and Cindy Crawford are scared of Pete Davidson. the drama was endless. And then Pete, he went and he got some help again and we didn't really hear from him. But this new movie came out, King of Staten Island, which was, it's Judd Apatow's movie,

stars Bill Burr and Pete Davidson. Fran, you didn't watch yet. Noah and I watched it. Noah, I would like to ask your opinion of the movie. I enjoyed it. Clap it up for Noah. Hello, Noah. Hi, everyone.

No, I enjoyed it. And I thought Bill Burr and actually, I thought Mod Apatel, Judd Attax's daughter. I thought she was like a really good actress. Oh, I like her a lot. Yeah, she was good. She played Pete's sister, which was an interesting dynamic to see. And what do you think about Pete Davidson?

Because I tweeted something the other day that I deleted because it was right after I tweeted about Hank's birthday. I didn't want to take his birthday, tweeted away from him by talking about how much ass Pete Davidson gets. But I wrote, if you think Pete Davidson is bad in the King of Staten Island, you're just jealous that he gets more ass than you do. And that's facts. So what are your thoughts on Pete Davidson? As an actor, I thought, like, it was hard to judge because he's playing himself. Like, we talked about that earlier. But I didn't think he was bad.

And I thought, like, I was like, this is Pete Davidson. Like, this is what I imagined Pete Davidson being like in his home. So I thought he was good in that aspect. Yeah. And I think it's people say it's harder to play yourself because then you get in your head about playing yourself. You get all nervous about it. Like make yourself a character. Yeah, instead of just acting natural.

So I thought he did a great. job. I think subconsciously when I see guys on the internet hating on Pete Davidson, I think that they want to, like, they don't know it yet, but it comes from a place of jealousy because they look at Pete Davidson and he's not this like classic handsome dude. You know, he's kind of grungy looking. I still think he's hot. Some people, some people think he's hot. Some people don't. But he's not this classic handsome guy. So guys see him and they're like, oh, like he gets, he gets, he all these hot girls and he's a terrible actor. He's not even funny.

It's like you're just mad that you're not Pete Davidson at this point. So I respect when guys can be like, yeah, I thought he was fine. He could also be like an inspiration to guys who maybe aren't like classically good looking and they're like, wow, like one of us made it. Right. One of us.

One of us. No, I agree with that, but I think that some people are too jealous to like let, like admit that sometimes. Yeah. That's what I think about. about when I see people hating on Pete Davidson. But overall, I thought it was a really good movie. Also, Steve Boucher, a very good actor.

He was in it. He was good. Yep. Jimmy Tautro, pretty funny that he just has these random roles. It's like, he should... I don't know. He's in the movie? Yeah, he's in the movie, but like for five seconds out of the whole thing, really.

And I just think that he, you know, he's pretty famous, but he should just be a way bigger... star than he is. But I feel like he's in a good place right now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I feel like everybody really enjoys when he pops in like a movie or a TV show for like five seconds and you're just like,

oh, that guy, he's always really funny. Oh, that's a funny guy. Yeah, exactly. I'm excited to watch it because I also think there's an excitement around it because we just haven't really had a lot of new movies come out in a while. Like everything got delayed. because of coronavirus.

And so, like, movie premieres, so many movies that were supposed to come out got pushed back to the fall. So there hasn't been anything for a while. And I feel like everybody felt that way when they, at the beginning, there was all these movies that you could catch up on. You were like, oh, I haven't seen this,

I haven't seen this. You could clear it all. The list you had waiting, you could clear it, watch it all. And then the last month or so, you would go to like the new movie section and be like, wow, I've watched every single one of these. Like, I don't have any. and then you're just stuck scrolling.

But now this right there, right at the top, King of San Island, you're like, yes, I haven't, this is something I haven't watched. And I know the actors. Purchase, purchase, purchase. Yeah, I want to see infamous with Bellathorn. I'm a sucker for Bellethorne's movies. You know I'm a sucker from Bell Thorne's movies and her TV shows. Her freeform show that got canceled, I'm still, I'm still sad about that.

Yes, RIPA, Amos and Love. Yes, I love. I loved famous love. Great show. It ended too soon. Infamous is, uh, okay, it's, oh, yep, it's out, but I don't know. I think I saw her posting about it on Instagram, but didn't, didn't do the proper research. So I saw that it was out, like in drive-in movie theaters.

I don't know if you can watch it on like a video on demand. I'm assuming you have to be able to because otherwise, I would think so. Many people are watching this movie. Right. Oh, yes, yes, yes. It's on Amazon, Google Play, Voodoo, Fandango, iTunes. Yes, I know what I'm watching later.

It's about... Is there like a summary? Like a little synopsis? Don't give anything away, but... Okay, let me give you a little synopsis. I'm going to read the one sentence on IMDB. Okay. Two young lovers robbed their way across the Southland,

posting their exploits to social media and gaining fame and followers as a result. Oh, fuck it. Right up our alley. It's like a, like a current day, Bonnie and Clyde, like just social media era. Yeah, I'm into it. Who's the leading, who's the, who's the, who's the, who's the, who's the leading man? The leading man is Jake Manly.

Not sure you've ever seen him before because I haven't, I'll name some of his movies. Brotherhood, Seven in Heaven, the Order, Hush Little Baby. Oh, I've seen him before. I zombie. A friend knows Jake Manley. I've literally watched like a few episodes of I-Zombie, but that's how... And I just feel like he has a familiar face,

a dog's journey, which I also... Oh, he's in Midway, too. He was a lot. Okay. Wow. I mean, put that on the list. Yeah, I think I'm watching that right when we hang up, to be honest. Can't wait to see that. I'm a sucker for those films. But once you did on... It was called The Perfect High. It was a Lifetime movie. That was a pretty good one, too.

That one was dark. That was dark, but Bella did a great job. I love the movie that she did with Patrick Schwarzenegger. I know that was not really critically acclaimed. The Night's Sun? Yes. I bawled my eyes out watching that. Yeah.

We support Bella. Yeah, we do. We just support Bella. That is true. Last thing I'll say about movies right now is I watch Parasite for the first time. Great film. Everyone knows it's a great film. It's literally like, I know.

This is just a cool. Whoa, like, Parasite, great film. Great film. Maria Chiffo, seven months after Parasite is released. Literally. Oh, Parasite? Great film. Great film. That's all I can say about it.

I will say that the, like, reading subtitles and just listening and watching the acting is extremely soothing. I really, really enjoyed it. Yeah. Like I said, great film. Great film. All around, great film. I drunk ordered again on Friday night

What'd you get? Books, 10 books. I went ham on books. I don't know what came over me, but like this is, I think I saw, obviously I remembered it on Saturday. I was like, oh shit, I think I ordered like a billion books. But I think I just was scrolling Instagram

and saw one person's like, here's the, you know, 30 books we recommend right now. And it was like a picture of all the books lined up. And I was just like, oh, I'm going to get some of these and just went in, just went in. I'm really proud of you. It's not every day you hear somebody drunk ordering books. I would actually like to announce that I'm reading a book. You've been reading?

I started this book. Anthony Bordane's book. No. I'm so proud of you. The first book I've read in like a couple years. that's so big of you that was really cute Noah saying I just want to announce I'm reading a book right now

I'm kind of proud of myself for reading no I 100% you should be a lot of people feel that way like I that's how Joe has been because I have been reading and he's like you know what I'm gonna get back into reading and now he has been reading like a lot and whenever he finishes a book

he's like Fran I finished it like so proud of himself It is coming. Like on the beach. Otherwise, I would just kind of be bored like sitting on the beach. But now if I'm just reading on the beach.

Yes. If you're sitting on the beach like by yourself, nothing's better than having a nice book by your side. Wow, guys, that's beautiful. Really, really happy for everybody who's getting their reading on. Can't say that I have.

But I'm happy for those. I know. I tried to. I try. I kept like put. It doesn't mean that I like hate reading though. Like I, I'm not going to get into this to be like,

The new Bachelor was announced, and he goes by the name of Matt James. If you don't know who Matt James is, he is Tyler Cameron's best friend.

That is the best way to explain him because he's not a part of the Bachelor franchise yet until he gets on screen as the Bachelor. wasn't in any past shows, nothing of that sort. So it's actually way different than anything they've ever done before because usually they just pick people from other seasons that have been on different shows. He is brand new, but like I said, he has basically stepped into the scene from being Tyler Cameron's best friend, you know, the quarantine crew.

We've been seeing him ever since Tyler C became a huge deal. Matt has been around. And they announced him as the new bachelor, the first black bachelor. Bachelor. It's fantastic. We're so excited for Matt. I mean, I remember I remember when we were in the studio, we were doing radio, and we were talking about Claire's season because he originally was cast on Claire's season. And immediately, like, finding out that he was cast on Claire's season, we were like, this guy should be the next Bachelor. Like, there wasn't even any question about it. And that has not like not a dig at claire at all it was just like this dude is made to be the bachelor i feel

like he would be perfect for the role um and and and they just fast tracked him i also think you know we obviously saw we talked about it claire's tweet about you know somebody on cameo and being not being here for the right reasons everyone thought it was aimed at mat um now they don't have to worry about any of that drama because Claire will just have other guys that are not Matt James, and Matt James will just have to wait until they start filming The Bachelor. Right. And I think there's obviously a few reasons why Matt James was picked. Obviously, we talked about the Bachelor Diversity campaign that was made last week or so, and it reached, last time I looked at it, it was like 80,000-plus signatures on this campaign

to get, you know, another black lead because the only black lead that they've had in the past is Rachel Lindsay, Lindsay, no black Bachelor, as well as a long other list of things that need to be changed in the Bachelor franchise. But I think that, you know, I think Matt James was picked for that reason

because obviously they didn't say much. The thing is, they can say it wasn't, but I think, you know, when it comes down to it, it was. But I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. I think that they are on the right track. And I think that this also adds a factor into it is that if Matt James, they knew that Matt James was a great guy. You know, if you've met him before or if you know anything about him, he's really such a nice guy. He does a lot of great things for charity and such. So I think that they didn't want to have Matt James go on Claire's season and have Claire kind of blow up.

his spot about the cameo thing and then he'll go home early because clearly claire isn't going to be into him i don't think at that point in time um and then it would be like a like a waste of waiting for somebody to be announced as the new bachelor they just cut out the middle shit made him the bachelor and now for claire season the guys on the show are going to have to be on that show for claire there's no oh you might become the bachelor if you stick around for a long time it's you're doing this show to end up with Claire. Maybe Bachelor in Paradise, but who's going on a show that badly

to go on Bachelor and Paradise? You know what I mean? I think when people get that vision of, oh, you know, maybe I could be the next Bachelor or Bachelorette if I don't make it to the end. That's no longer there. They've cut out all the nonsense.

So, you know, I think this is a great thing for Matt James, especially because he just is really such a great person. I know that people are like, why not Mike? We wanted Mike. And, you know, we wanted Mike too for a while. And we also think that Mike is a great guy. But that doesn't take away from how great of a guy Matt James is. So, you know, I hope that people see that instead of just getting mad that it's not Mike.

Right. I feel like Mike, you know, Mike posted a video on his Instagram congratulating Matt. And he was super excited. and he was like, don't feel bad for me. Like, I'm in a great place. Like, I'm excited to see what Matt does. And it's, yeah, and it's definitely, there's a lot of factors to it too. And I remember seeing something about, like Rachel had talked about Mike,

that there were some other reasoning behind Mike, not becoming the bachelor. Who knows? She was kind of insinuated that maybe there was something behind the scenes that we all don't know about who. Who knows? But it is very, very exciting. I feel like it's just kind of unfortunate for Claire. I'm not going to lie because everyone was like,

oh my, are they even going to do The Bachelor? and they had to put out an announcement. Like, no, we're still going to do Claire's season. Like, Claire's season is still happening because I think everybody now is just so excited to watch Matt season that they're like, oh shit, Claire still has her season, huh? Like we're still doing this. So, look,

I'm excited for both. I'm definitely more excited for math season. I think it's going to be a lot of fun. And I feel like Tyler will probably have some cameos, if not many cameos, helping out his pal. I will say that a couple weeks ago, my dad called me at 7.30 in the morning.

Like on a weekday, and I was scared because he does not call me on the phone that often. Like we text a lot, but he doesn't call me that much. And so 7.30, I'm like, oh, my God, something bad happened, what happened? And I answer, and he's like, I got to tell you something. I was like, what? And he's in Florida. He's in Jupiter.

And he went swimming, like, very early in the morning in the intercoastal with a buddy. and the way he told the story was so funny. He's like, and then I see these two guys, they're Jack, they're built, they're, they're, they're like two hot guys, and they're getting in the water in front of us, and we stop and we chat and we say hello, and whatever, I don't even know how it came about. I didn't like really ask my dad for that many details, one, because he just told the whole story and I was like still basically asleep. And he's like, and then one of them says,

but it was Matt and Tyler and it was just so funny because my dad's like, they're built like Adonis is. Like, it's just, I was like, okay, dad, I get it. But then once Matt, this announcement came out, he texted me. He was like, wow, that guy, he's going to be the new bachelor. Like, he was so excited that he had run into them down there, which is just, it's just, it was so funny.

I was like, dad, thank you so much for calling me at 7.30 to tell me this story. Like, couldn't have waited a few hours. Like, it was an immediate thing. That was before Matt was even the bachelor. Imagine if he was announced as the bachelor, how. how much earlier he would have called you. Yeah, he was like, I think he was with one of his friends who also very attractive guy. I was like, yeah, probably Matt.

Yeah, it's really exciting. It's funny because, like, it's just crazy to see how fast Matt James has shot up to superstardom at this point. Well, not, you know, not yet. But once he becomes The Bachelor, he will be. He's going to have more followers at Tyler at that point. I know we were joking. about that in our group chat about Matt James just surpassing Tyler, even though.

Yeah, yeah. And Matt James came to the office with Tyler when Trent was the luggage guy. And just looking back on these like random instances that we were with Matt James, this is just so funny now is we've never known the Bachelor. Right. Remember when he was eating his bagel out of the bagel shop? Yep, yep, yep. And we saw him at the sandwich shop. And then at Dylan, we went to, Dylan and Hannah's like engagement dinner.

And so that was the first time we actually met any of them, which was really funny looking back on it. They came to the office and just invited us and we were like, yeah, we're going to go. And then Matt James was just sitting down at the dinner. Lovely, lovely guy. Absolutely very exciting. Can't wait to watch.

And it's definitely a step in the right direction. I think that, you know, Rachel had tweeted too. Like there's just so much more that The Bachelor can do. And I know we mentioned it last episode, but the batch diversity campaign has been great, and you should check out their social accounts because they have listed out all of the things that they want the bachelor to address and to change,

and they're all really, really great things, and hopefully this is just the first step in fulfilling a lot of those things. I know, you know, they've put out statements, Rob Mills and, you know, Chris Harrison, and, you know, they've said, obviously, we haven't done enough in the past and that they're looking to change things.

She is filed for divorce from her husband, Brandon, Blackstock. And. I feel like we haven't really seen too much of her marriage per se, but obviously she has her talk show. She's on the voice. She does all the stuff. She talks about her life all the time and, you know, her kids and family. But they had like a very surprising start. Like I think they had gotten married pretty quickly.

It was like a surprise wedding. And then I feel like this divorce kind of came out of nowhere too. So just surprise all around. And it just makes me sad for Kelly because she is a national treasure. It makes me sad for Kelly, but it also makes me happy for Kelly because, you know, if this was not a great marriage, I'm happy that she's out of it so that she can grow and become even better and maybe find an even happier relationship to be in. she is very much enforcing the pre-up, which, you know, she should because Kelly Clarkson is a very wealthy woman and she should rightfully have her money. So I'm glad she had a pre-up in that case. Whenever I hear about a celebrity divorce and they don't have a pre-up, my spine shivers.

I'm going to say shivers down my spine, but my spine is shivers. Yeah, you're, you're, you have a shivering spine. I have a shivering spine at this point in time. Oh, that rhymed. But I feel like it's always a little off and everyone, you're always going to be estimated way more than you actually are.

I remember, I think it was Lily Reinhart who had posted like a screenshot of like her net worth when she like Googled Lily Reinhard net worth or whatever. And she was just like, damn, I fucking wish. Right. So I think it's just all around one of those things. but regardless, Kelly definitely had the right move signing the pre-up before they got married. Hopefully the divorce goes smoothly.

And, you know, what also, like, and this is what is sad, because I always feel bad saying this when musicians go through breakups. But we get the best music from them after that happens. There's a couple that we want to talk about because honestly, they have produced so much quarantine content, I feel like, and we haven't talked about them. And they have made their move back to California, Olivia Colpo and Christian McCaffrey. They have been quarantined with Christians, I guess it was technically Christian's family, they were, you know, with Christian's mom and brothers and, like, all significant others and Olivia's sister was there. And it just looked like they had, we're having a great time.

Like, you would just watch our Instagram stories of, like, Taco Tuesday and the whole house is decorated. They did a, they did a fake prom night. Like, they did so many things and stayed active, but now they're back at Olivia's house. And I guess Christian, I guess Christian's mom is also staying. with them. Like Olivia's posting stories of her mom modeling in the house and all of Olivia's clothes. So needless to say, they have gotten very close. Yeah, they're really hitting it off the families. It looks like Christian McAfree's mom is just Olivia Copo, but older. So I think that really works out well for them. Like, I think that's the best case scenario because it seems like they get along really well. Maybe that's why Christian and Olivia get along really well, too. She's like part of

the fam already. It's nice to see them in a happy relationship. I will say this would be too much for me in a sense where I'd feel like I'd get tired with all the activity that goes on. I really applaud people that can do all of this all the time. Like every night is a different kind of dinner, you know, prom night one night. The next night is somebody's birthday. Then like you said, we got Taco Tuesday the next night. I applaud people who have that much energy to keep going, going, going all the time. Every night is a new event. I do not have that type of energy. I go to like one party or go out once and that much energy consumed from other people is enough for me for like another two weeks.

I'm like, okay, I got it. I'm good. I need to rest for a good two weeks before I see that much, that many people again. Right. But I do think it looks like a lot of fun. And like you said, they just look like they're really hitting it off. And quarantine seemed to be a great thing for them because now, you know, they're not, they're not broken up like some couples have been at the end of quarantine.

They've just moved locations into Olivia's new house. Yes, which looks beautiful. And I just feel like we get a great glimpse into the life because Olivia shares a lot on her stories now, which is very entertaining because we're seeing like Christian doing water aerobics and swimming in the pool. And like I said, his mom is, you know, modeling her clothes. And I will say that the cutest part of this, of her being home now, is her nephew, who is such a nugget.

He is so cute. I mean, one of the cutest kids, really unbelievably cute. And it seems like he looks up to Christians so much. Like, he follows Christian around. and she posted a video of Christian, like, doing a cartwheel. And then Remy tried to do the cartwheel. It was so cute. And, you know, he just kind of, like, hits his head on the grass and, like, falls over.

But it's just, it's very, very sweet. Clearly, all of their families, their families have meshed really well. Which is good, like you said, it's just, when you see people who are so clearly in a great place in their relationship, Like those two are thriving in their relationship, which is very sweet to see. I see marriage in their future. Yeah, yeah. And I feel like it could sneaky be sooner than we all think. Exactly.

Like I said, I see marriage in the future. And engagement, you know, football is it ever coming back? There's so much time now. Right. Christian signed that massive deal while they were in quarantine. So they've got good things ahead. They could be set for life. Okay, guys, Fran here, we recorded this segment literally an hour before Chase posted at an Instagram saying cats out of the bag with a heart and a picture of him and Madeline on the beach. So there's all the confirmation that we need. You're going to listen to this segment. We basically talk about how there's no way that they're not a couple because we were just speculating and we were just 100% right. So everything we said is completely factual because now they are officially dating. All right, we got a little Outer Banks cast talk. As everyone is always wondering, is Chase Stokes at Madeline Klein dating. I wish that we had the exact answer for you.

I wish that I could just hit them up and ask, but I'm not going to do that. I'm just going to keep snooping around and trying to put the clues together. So more fun that way. Yes, way more fun, makes it a little game, chase them around a little bit. Right, way more time consuming.

Yes. So what I've gathered from the past week or so is that Chase and Madeline went on a trip to, I guess, wherever Chase's family is, because there were pictures with them on the plane, them in the airport, and then Madeline posing with Chase's brother. And then Madeline Klein posted a picture today on Instagram where she looks unreal. FIRE. FIRE. Unreal. Yep. And Chase commented and wrote, but like, and then a bunch of letters. And you know what that means. That means I'm freaking out. I'm freaking out. You look so hot. That's what

So unless they're just really good friends and Chase just gases her up all the time, like, yeah, you're so hot, Madeline, but we're all just best friends and we're castmates, then that could be it. But I don't know. I don't know how you film those scenes and say John B. like that and then have them not be dating. Right. And I think you have to look at the history of these teen drama television shows.

Because if you look at the history, there's always a couple that ends up dating in real life. It's just going to happen. It happens on most shows. The chemistry is there. They're filming the show. And they just go down that road, whether it works out or it doesn't work out. It happens no matter what, I feel like. So at this point.

One three, no, they got married. Nina Dobrevenian from Vampire Diaries. Boom. Cole and Lily. Col and Lily, Riverdale. Blake Lively and Penn Badgley. Like, there's tons that we're not even thinking of, but there are, I just feel like it happens.

The list goes on not. No much. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. They hated each other before the notebook, and then they couldn't resist each other. Yeah. You know that? That's a fun fact.

When the case, yes. They had a bad initial, like, test screen, right? Yeah. When, yeah, you just think about that. And I also think of when they, I guess when Chase and Madeline had their first test together, and I feel like they have kind of insinuated that they hit it off right away, which to me just means like the chemistry for them was automatic because they obviously needed to have chemistry for these roles. And it worked out very, very well. But like I said, it's hard not to go down that road, especially when you're young and you aren't

hanging out with other people besides your co-stars. Like, those are your best friends. Those are who you're hanging out with all the time. So yeah, it's just like, it's just like in real life, if you're hanging out with your friends all the time, like sometimes you just end up making out with one of your friends. Well, that's literally how I'm dating Hank. Like I was at the Barstool office at all times. My whole life revolved around Barstool. Then I started going out with them. And then all of a sudden, I was making out with Hank in a bar in front of a bunch of people when I was not even 21. If Barstles Sports was a teen drama television show, you would be the prime example of what we're talking about. Exactly. Sometimes when you're just around people enough, you start liking them. So I think that Chase and Madeline, I'd also like to say Madeline was doing an Instagram live one.

and it was during quarantined. It was like kind of, you know, towards, it was like a few weeks ago. So it wasn't the very beginning. And she had said that they were all quarantining together for a while, but then they all went their separate ways so that she was alone. And then she accidentally flipped the camera five minutes later. And you just see who I think was chased like in the camera.

She was like, oh, and then she flipped a path because she had just said that she was alone. And then everyone realized that she wasn't alone. So I think that they're, you know, I don't know for sure if they're dating, but if they are dating, I think that they're probably trying to hide it as much as possible for a little bit because once people find out that you're dating, it's over for you guys. You guys are either getting married or you're going to break up and people are going to fucking hate that you broke up. They're going to hate it.

The shippers are going to be so mad. So I think you have a bunch of shook shippers. Yeah. I think that I don't know. I just feel like it's a. inevitable. I feel like they must be, must be dating. Look at the facts. I mean, the probability, it's just there. Like the statistics, it's just there for the team.

Unless romance television shows. Unless they're trying to throw us off and Madeline is dating somebody completely different than John B. Right. Which I know if it's possible, why she'd be flying with Chase Stokes in the middle of this time to go see his family. Right. Right. And, and miss me with that best friends shit. Like, do you really bring your best, your best friend home to meet your family that often? Yeah, right. Like, yes, you do when you're growing up.

Unless you're, you know, best friends. Banging as well on the side. Or you have the hope that the banging will happen at some points. Right. I wonder how that conversation goes, though. Like, you know, all of a sudden, you're co-stars, right? You both land this magical role. Now you're doing these scenes together. You're getting hot and heavy.

You like each other. And you're kind of nervous about it. And, you know, in the inside, you have a crush on the person. The other person has a crush on you on the inside, but you don't really talk about it. Then you go out one night with the whole cast. Everyone gets shit-faced. And all of a sudden, you guys end up making out. You go home.

You have sex. The next morning, you wake up. You're in your trailers and you have to film another scene. Now what happened. you keep that secret for a little bit. You can't deny that you still want to have sex, and then at some point you start dating. Yeah, that's probably the exact time.

I feel like that's exactly what happens. And I feel like you could probably say that for literally every couple that has started dating on TV. That's the dream scenario. You know the adrenaline that they get probably? from going out, like cast night out, getting drunk, hooking up with your castmates the next day, you're on set. Nobody knows except you two and maybe a friend you told. It's a thrill.

Sneaky kisses. Yeah, yeah. Little butt grabs. We have really just created an absolute fantasy for these two people. So, you know, they don't get mad about it. Sorry, Jason. It could, they could be like, wow, you know, we are friends. Like, we are just friends.

friends. It's very possible. But I don't know. I don't know. Listen, guys, if you're still just friends, go take that little fantasy and make it a reality, please. Right.
