Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners.
You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube.
Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music.
What's up, everyone?
It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran.
We are giving you that Friday energy on a Thursday.
Fran, how are we doing today?
You were sick this week.
Yeah.
You haven't really been here.
You've been sick after your birthday.
Coming off a fresh 25th birthday.
illness just really went right into getting a bad cold. I still don't really feel great. My voice is
kind of still toast. But I feel better today. But Monday and Tuesday were rough. Yeah, we've been
a lot of soup. I've had so much soup. So much soup. Like, chicken, I've just been inhaling chicken broth.
Like, if you're listening to this right now, you're going to want soup immediately. Because once somebody
talks about soup, it's just a train of wanting soup. I send a picture of my
chicken soup to re-end, you immediately
had chicken soup. Yeah, I did.
I had, well, you sent me a picture of it
and then I ordered chicken soup for lunch and then also
had chicken soup for dinner.
It's something that I could probably eat every day.
I think.
Chicken soup? Yeah. And like, have no problem with it.
You know, that's great chicken noodle soup.
Pret.
Just shut up.
I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Noah. That one was, that one I didn't mean.
Me and Noah had like a bonding experience
today. We both had hot dogs after
our interview at Sirius.
10.15 in the morning. Yeah, 10.15 in the morning.
And I can always...
Rio, like, ran across the street to get the second hot, like, to get a second round of hot dogs.
I've never seen your run that fast.
Because I just appreciate when somebody else wants to do...
You know, when you, like, it's 10 a.m. in the morning, right?
Me saying I want a hot dog, usually nobody else is like, yeah, I'm going to eat a hot dog at 10 a.m.
Right. So the fact that Noah was like, yeah, I have a hot dog at 10 a.m.
Well, when you smell it on the street, you just have to have it.
Yeah, it is hard.
I don't know how Fran didn't.
Oh, well, you're sick.
Guys, I, I don't really want to get into all my ailments, but, like, I also, like,
have a bad, like, I bit my cheeks so many times that I now have, like, a sore and my whole
mouth hurts, and it hurts to eat.
Like, I have to stick to, like, soft foods.
So you really turn 25.
Yeah, I'm just aged tremendously in, like, four days.
Um, so it, like, hurts to talk and hers to open my mouth.
Like, truly, I just can eat soup and, like, mashed potatoes and, like, everything else hurts.
So I just knew like the ketchup and the mustard taste so good but would also hurt.
Yeah.
So you're just trying to avoid.
Yeah.
I just, we had Shake Shack delivered to the office and I took like little tiny baby bites.
Yeah.
Like I have to take really small bites because I can only chew on the left side.
Well, Fran, I hope you get better because honestly this doesn't sound fun at all.
No, it's miserable.
Your energy is down.
It's not Friday energy even though we have to be giving people that today.
Yeah.
I'm trying.
I'll move on to something happening.
happier so that we can stop talking about sicknesses.
Just, you know, just to, because it's Thursday.
The weekend's coming.
People want to get pumped up.
And to pump you guys up, we have something really big coming.
Huge.
Huge.
The biggest thing ever.
Gynormous.
Like, whatever you're thinking, it's more than that.
Yeah.
Truthfully.
I'm trying to think of other adjectives for ginormous.
Just immense.
Amense.
Let me think of maybe
Open the Saurus.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a good idea.
Fat kind of works.
Yeah, it does.
Ginormous.
Enormous.
Vast.
I don't know if that's correct.
Massive.
Monstrous.
Astronomic.
Boundless.
Stupendous.
Cosmic.
Super colossal.
Limitless.
Wow, I kind of like super colossal.
Monumental.
Yeah, monumental.
Really describes it.
Monumental.
Yeah.
So.
October 10th.
Yes, it'll be our 100th
100th episode.
That's not the news, guys.
I was like, we have the biggest news ever.
No, no, no.
That's not the news.
There is something that will be accompanying our 100th episode
that will make it monumental.
The 100th episode is monumental.
Yeah, first of all, we've reached 100 episodes.
But that episode will be monumental,
and it's not just because it's the 100th episode.
is what we're saying.
Yes.
Let's make that clear.
What number is this?
96.
This is 96.
Okay, so this is 96.
So we're going to be giving you a little tease for the next few episodes on what's coming
for 100.
All we're saying right now, something big for 100.
Something big.
We don't want to say anything else just because we're trying to tease you guys.
We still got a long ways to go.
It's locked in.
So don't worry.
We're not going to like tease you and then give you blue balls.
Yeah, no.
It's happening.
It's happening.
So yeah, I mean, obviously I want to say what it is right now.
but I'm not going to do that because Fran and Noah will get really mad at me.
So we're just going to move on and you guys just soak that in.
Soke that news in.
Something big is coming.
Yes.
Yes.
Noah, would you like to say anything?
I will say that Noah, Noah knew first, the news.
I pretty much tried to tell you how you just tried to tell all the listeners.
Well, that's what I was about to say.
Yeah.
I don't know, like, whatever you think it is, it's like way better than that.
that's exactly what Noah told me.
You knew first?
Yeah.
Because our Booker told me before you guys came in.
Oh.
Yeah.
I didn't even know that.
That's why I was filming the good chat.
No, no, no.
I said whatever you think it is, it's way bigger.
No, I, yes, but I thought he just was like, I don't know.
I thought he was just fucking with us.
No, he wasn't.
I didn't know that you knew.
Yeah.
So what Noah told me is what I am telling you guys, is that whatever,
you think it is, it's way bigger than that. So, yeah, we're going to have to move on. Stay tuned. Stay tuned, everybody. Stay freaking tuned.
October 10th, 100th episode. Get excited. Oh, also, before we get into the topics, we did put up a new video on YouTube.
Yes. It is when Tyler C crashed the podcast with Dylan. So you could check that out on video.
Like and subscribe, please. Link is in the podcast file. Please like and subscribe.
to our YouTube. And let's be honest, we all know we want to watch that video instead of listen.
Oh, that was tough. But you're not wrong. Cut that out. No way. No way. That is a firm two to one vote.
You are being ooh. I almost said you're being overruled. You are being uva ruled. You have to cut that out.
No, too late. All right, Ray, let's get into the topics. I mean you have to cut that out.
Nope. That's funny. Let's get into the topics. We have Mike and Demi, a huge update. Mike spills the beans on Demi Lovato.
Caitlin and Miley Cyrus officially break up. Tristan is getting thirsty on Chloe Kardashian's Instagram. Jenna DeWan is pregnant. Ashton Coochardt wrote a snarky tweet about not writing a snarky tweet. And Dylan Danis and Jake Paul really might get into a boxing match over Tana Mojo. And we have a great interview.
with Justin Hartley.
Yes.
Amazing.
I absolutely love.
This is us.
And we had a great,
it was a great time.
It was a great time.
Honestly.
He's one of the more famous
gentlemen that we've had on this show.
You keep saying that to me almost to like dig it into me.
I really am doing it just to prove a point.
Yeah.
Let's get into the podcast starting off with Mike and Demi.
Noah is the one who found this clip.
Once again,
I want to give him credit because it was a whole big.
I'm not like fishing for the credit.
No, I know you're not.
But I'm giving it to you because I'm,
I can't believe I would have never seen this.
And neither did Fran.
I was shocked that you guys didn't see it.
I didn't tell you because I thought you guys would have been like, you're late.
Like we already saw that.
Well, we watched like four different YouTube videos that Noah found the one.
But they were all very enlightening.
Like each separate video that Noah showed us, Mike said something that was interesting in each one.
In each one.
About Demi Levato or not being the bachelor or whatever.
And it was confusing why Noah saw all of these videos and we didn't.
saw all of them and we didn't see any.
He was like, well, what about Mike's comments?
We're like, what about Mike's comments?
We didn't stand there.
He was like, what do you mean?
They were all over.
I'm like, all over what?
Like even Trent didn't see it.
You didn't see it.
I didn't see it.
I didn't see one thing.
Only Noah saw it.
So shout it to Noah for doing his job.
Yeah, yeah.
But you know what?
He did a great job.
We saw all the videos.
And Mike,
Scoop.
Oh my God.
I love this guy.
first of all he is just such a smiley teddy bear i just want to give him a hug if you watch these videos
he looks so happy talking about demi lovado and he obviously talked about the date every girl that
interviewed him on this carpet this was for the i heart radio festival i think so it was like every
interview that was on the carpet was hilarious because each girl had the at one point each girl
had like just so such funny reactions like there was that
that girl who was like, ooh, scary.
And then there was...
I love that one. One was just like straight up flirting with him.
Yes, yes, totally.
That one was happening. I mean, I can blame her. Cannot blame her.
Yeah, I mean, when you're, like, you want to get the questions out of them.
Yeah, exactly.
He gave them. He gave the answers, and it seems like he's all in on Demi Lovato, which I love.
It doesn't seem like, you know, they're not moving too fast. They're still at those
beginning stages. So it is what it is.
It's probably, yeah, they're like, obviously in different.
places so it's probably hard for them to be in the same place at the same time. Do you think Demi
is upset? I guess not upset, but maybe like annoyed that Mike's talking about this to the media or do you
think she's just like whatever? Or do you think that they talked about it and Demi was like,
say whatever you want? I think that Mike is such a nice guy. Right. That Demi Lovato was like,
he's just saying amazing things. Like she probably, if she were to see these videos, how does she not watch
and smile. No, I mean, he's literally like, she is so beautiful inside and out. Like, he said the nicest things.
Right. And this brings me to the point about Tyler and Gigi. This week, Tyler said that him and Gigi are just friends, whatever, and that's it. We're just friends. She's an amazing person. I don't want to talk about my relationship.
I kind of feel like Gigi Hedeed is the type of person that does get mad and Demi Lovato doesn't get mad, but isn't
Emily Lovato like kind of bigger than Gigi Hedeed.
Yeah, I think she's more famous.
And I'm not saying it's any comparison, but I'm just saying like when you're
being talked about in the media.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
When it comes to what you're doing.
I don't know, though.
It's different worlds, obviously.
It is.
But I just, I don't know.
Like, I really like how obviously, you know, if you don't want a relationship to be
public, that's completely fair.
Yeah.
But I do like how Mike is like giving the cute answers and he's playing in.
to it. He is, you know, a celebrity now. He does these interviews for a reason.
Yeah. And, yeah. And I also want to say, like, they, um, e-news tried to, like, make us think that
something happened between Tasia and Mike during the IHart Radio Festival. And I was just like,
that was annoying. People were tagging us on the Instagram. So I saw it. And when I actually
looked at the article, it was like, rumors that they were like getting cozy at the festival. But then it was
like, just like, it's wrong, though.
Our source is say Tasha is obviously still dating John Paul Jones.
And that just totally contradicted that.
Like, Mike's like I'm 100% trying to make this work with Demi.
So they're in a good place.
And it's funny with Tyler and Gigi.
And I'm maybe just because one, they're both coming off such public relationships.
Obviously, Tyler and Hannah, everybody, like, wanted to know every single detail.
and Gigi and Zane have been so public for so long
and there every move was being watched
so maybe they just decided together that they don't really want
to like talk about each other or make this a public thing
because Tyler's saying you know we're just friends
like my I'm trying to keep my relationships private
or we don't have to make our relationship public
or whatever the heck you said
and I'm just like bullshit that is bullshit
they are not just friends
yeah I don't think they're just friends I mean
we saw that they're not just friends.
You flew to the Netherlands for her grandma's funeral.
No, they are, yeah.
You're not just friends.
You go to your friends' families' funerals when they're in the same state and you could attend.
You don't fly out of the country.
And you just, you answer it.
You could answer it so simply.
Just like.
How would you answer it?
Yeah, we've been seeing each other.
We've been having a great time.
What else is she?
What else is the interview we're going to say?
I mean, okay, that's great.
And it's obvious.
Yeah.
Because they're photographed together.
I think maybe she wants him to talk about it.
You think Gigi wants?
No, no, no.
Oh, wait, wait.
I'm talking about Demi.
I'm thinking that Demi wants Mike to talk about it.
No, you're a little late to the conversation.
But I was just sending an email, so I'm not paying.
We were talking about Tyler and Gigi.
Oh, I don't know.
I didn't hear you switch.
Okay.
Oh, God.
I really hope this is something you never stopped doing.
I really do.
I need you to keep that.
And I also need you to realize that I just said, oh, man.
Oh, man.
Instead of Oman.
Yeah, I really just, I truly hope that is something Noah continues to do where he just doesn't listen to us for like five minutes and then chimes in on what we were talking about five minutes ago.
Unbelievable.
Unbelievable.
Yes.
But to your point, Noah, we did say that.
We think Demi is okay.
Yeah, we think Demi is okay with it.
Thank you for that input.
We were saying, on the other hand, Gigi, I feel like they both want to be private when we all know.
that there is something going on.
But I will also throw in that Gigi has been away in Fashion Week.
Yeah.
And Tyler has been away.
And they've been away from each other for a little bit now.
Yep.
So maybe the relationship did slow down.
It could have, but no, it definitely could have.
But it probably will pick back up again when they're in New York.
Yeah, like maybe she'll come back to New York and things will pick up again.
But I could see, I could see, Tyler is such like a regular guy.
I could see them having that conversation like, all right, well, you're about to be gone for like a month.
And I've got a lot of work to do.
Like, we'll keep in touch, but, you know, let's touch base in a month.
Yeah, I mean, you never know.
It could be that.
It could never know.
Or they could be texting each other while she's walking down the Milan runway.
It could be that also.
That's what I would think.
That's what I would think.
I don't know.
You know, those two, we'll see.
But I'm Mike and Demi.
I mean, could not be happier.
Yeah, I'm so happy for them.
And I really hope it turns into something and they go on more dates.
Me too.
That would be great.
And I just feel like he's such a good guy.
So that would be awesome.
Summer has been great.
All of the summer barbecues, eating out at all these great restaurants.
But I am itching to get back into my routine.
I'm ready to get back into my habit of eating what's good for me, eating healthy.
But finding time to look for recipes and get to the grocery store and meal press.
and all that stuff is so overwhelming. We've all been there. We say we're going to eat healthy.
We're going to get the right food. We're going to go grocery shopping. And then the next week,
we just change and we go back to eating the way we were. But we have help now with daily
harvest. And that's what's great about daily harvest. Daily harvest makes it easier than ever to get
back into the habit of eating more fruits and vegetables with thoughtfully sourced chef-crafted food
that can be prepared in less than five minutes. You can fill your box with more than 65 different
options like ready to blend smoothies, which I absolutely love. I love the strawberry peach raspberry
sherbert smoothie. It tastes so delicious in the morning where you're going to have it for lunch,
dinner, if you're going to work out, whatever it may be. These smoothies are so, so yummy.
They also have hearty soups and savory harvest bowls. Everything stays fresh in your freezer
until you're ready to eat it. Each daily harvest cup takes one step to prepare with room for
customization. Add your favorite milk to a smoothie and blend or heat.
a harvest bowl and top it with avocado or fried egg.
I always add a little bit of my favorite almond milk into my smoothie.
It just gives it that extra taste that I like and it tastes so delicious.

So I don't want to bring back this sad, sad time that happened in our lives.
But remember when Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan broke up.
I remember.
You remember?
Yeah, it was sad.
It was sad.
And does it still hurt you inside?
A little bit, yeah.
Well, Jenna Dewan is pregnant with her new boyfriend.
Yeah.
And I'm very...
And I'm happy for her.
Super happy for her.
Really happy for her.
The thing that...
It's such a weird reaction.
Because I saw her Instagram.
Not, you know, whatever tabloid posted that she was pregnant.
And at first I was like, oh.
And then I was like, oh.
You know?
Like, I was like, oh, that's so nice.
Like, who doesn't love babies?
Yeah, obviously when you hear somebody's pregnant...
And she's clearly in a great spot with her boyfriend.
That's awesome.
Awesome. But then it hit me like, it's just not Channing Tatum's baby, but you know what?
It clearly moved on. Right.
Channing Tatum, I think, is still dating Jesse Jay. Maybe. I don't know. I don't know.
Let me tell you, the blinds don't say nice things about Channing Tatum.
I've never read a blind about Channing Tatum.
What? Yeah. They always say, I'm going to look up Channing Tatum blinds now.
They always say that Channing Tatum is hooking up with ladies left and right.
By the way, whenever we refer to blinds, people always DM me and they're like,
what's the site you're talking about?
So I'm just going to say it right now.
Crazy Days and Night and Nights.
Yeah.
Just type that in.
Wow.
I've been like,
there have been times where I'm like,
I don't even know what they're talking about.
And I've looked,
I've Googled blinds and nothing comes up.
It's crazy days and nights.
It's not net.
Entie lawyer.
Entie lawyer.
My friends have been looking at N2 lawyer for years.
So where does the main blinds come from?
It's like the,
it's just Hollywood blinds.
Like that's like just a term.
This isn't the only site.
There's a bunch.
Blind items is like a thing.
you know, you post the,
like, what happened?
You post it without actually saying who the people are.
So that's why it's blind.
They give you, they give you hints.
So like, Jesse J, they'll say like this illiterate singer, you know,
because it's just two J's.
So they give you, like, hints to.
Yeah, they won't, but then it doesn't, like, outright say who it is.
But you can normally piece together who it is.
And he also reveals who it is.
And, yeah, like months, either weeks or months later,
they'll reveal who the blind was about.
And truly, they could be like the most made up things of all time.
We have no idea.
But some of the, some of the things have ended up having.
Like he, he had Jenna and Channing breaking up before they announced their breakup.
So when that happened, we were like, oh, shit.
So that makes me think that he's got some inside scoop on Channing Tatum.
And the last one I saw was that like Jesse, Jesse Jay.
deleted her social media because she was like getting bombarded by like I don't know
apparently girls that Channing Tate was hooking up with her or something
preposterous like that you're just reading some blinds now I was going to choose one to read out
loud so people get a hint but none of them seem like I should read them so that's why I went silent
no you can check them out on your own you check those out on your own but yeah I mean some of them
could be true some something can be not true some of them have happened like yeah
Bruce Jenner transitioning right right one that the blinds
bind items had, but turned out to be true.
And then there's stuff that they said that never turned out to be true.
Yeah, exactly.
So you, it really is.
A lot of it is also speculation.
So you really just have to.
Take it with a grain of salt.
Don't take it seriously.
I know, like, I like reading it because it's interesting.
But, and then I like it because then when stuff does come true, you're like, oh, wow.
However, that is something.
I don't, that's something to think about because obviously Channing and Jenna broke up.
And now they're both in different relationships.
So Jenna is clearly very happy. It feels like that breakup was not that long ago, but it actually
really was. Over a year. Yeah. Well over a year ago. Exactly. But it's still hurt when it happened. And I think
they were separated for like more time before it was even announced, you know? Mm-hmm. So it's probably even
longer than we think. But a baby is great news. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like we're happy for her.
Yeah. Although it does. It reminds you that they split up. I know. It does true. It does still truly,
heard a little bit to talk to her, talk about her as Jenna Dewan and not Jenna Dewan Tatum. I always
go to say Jenna Dewan Tatum and I'm then like, Jenna Dewan. She's such a great three-nameer.
Jenna Dewan Tatum was such a stellar name. But I mean, Jenna Dewan is great as well. The only thing
that really is the sad, that is the saddest part of all this is it ruined Step Up for me. I
truly can't even watch the movie anymore. Can't watch Step Up. Can't listen to Pony.
Every time I hear Pony, I picture Jenna dancing on Channing Tatum. No longer. Lipsink Battle.
Yeah.
If you haven't seen that,
that lip sync battle is the best one.
Google it ever.
Google it.
And then cry.
Yeah.
Sorry.
Step Up.
Can't watch it.
Do you watch the other ones, though?
I do like Step Up 2, yeah.
I like Step Up 3.
I don't know if I've ever seen Step Up 3.
You've never seen Step Up 3?
No, I definitely have seen Step Up 3.
But Step Up 2 was definitely, it definitely went in order.
They progressively got worse.
They did, but Step Up 3 is Loki really good.
I don't think I.
I'm telling you, I watch this movie, like, repeatedly when it came out.
And they cast this girl that looked just like the girl in the second one, but it wasn't the same girl.
That always threw me off.
Oh, wait, maybe.
Are you thinking to step up two?
I think I was, uh, step up to the streets?
Nope, nope, nope, I was thinking of step up three with the, with moose.
Is moose in step up two?
Moose is in, no, it's step up three.
the water dance.
This is it.
No, this is Step Up 3.
This is the one I'm talking about.
This was my shit.
Oh, this is bad radio because nobody can see what I'm showing.
Step up to the final dance is also on the streets and the rain.
No, no, no.
I'm just, I'm giving you an example.
I'm not saying it's just I'm not saying I only like it because of the water.
Oh, wow, wow.
I thought you were talking about there's like this awesome dance.
I'm thinking about Moose because moose is one of my favorites.
And this was like such a great dance.
Okay. He dances pretty well in the second one also.
I get it. I get it. I like step up three better. That's all I know what step up two is. I know what step up three is. Step up three has a 20% on rotten tomatoes. Do you want I bet to oh my God. Step up three is actually way higher.
Because step up three is 47. Great. If you're listening to this step up two or step up three tweet to us. Yeah. Let us know which one you like better. Got to know.
You have to watch Step Up 3
I have seen Step Up 3
And it just didn't like hit you as hard
I think I saw it right when it came out
I don't remember
Has such a huge role in Step Up 3
She does? Maybe I've actually never seen it
You clearly haven't if you didn't know she was in it
No
I just assumed that I did see it at some point
But maybe I didn't
And then her and Moose are like in love
Hmm
You didn't see this movie
I don't know
if I did. Check it out. Okay. You check it out on your spare time. I will. And then report back to me
on what you think of the movie. I bet you'll love it. But you'll love it. Like the first and the second.
Over the weekend, Chloe Kardashian posted a picture on Instagram and Tristan Thompson got into the comments.
Yeah. And he wrote perfection with some heart faces. Prior to that, Chris Brown was getting thirsty
and Rihanna's comments. So it was a thirsty weekend for all exes. What do you think about this?
I mean, it's just annoying. I also think Tristan
deleted the comment.
Like I feel like, because I went to look to see if it was still there today, it's not.
So I'm assuming he just deleted the comment.
I don't know.
It's frustrating because I'm watching, we're obviously watching Kardashians right now.
And obviously that's months ago.
It's not current.
But you can see how kind of frustrated Chloe is with Tristan still trying to like be in her life
and talk to her and whatnot.
and like, you know what I'm saying?
It's just like annoying little things where I'd see that.
I'm like, that's just annoying.
Like, it's useless.
There's no need to publicly do that when you know people are going to freak out or make a scene like whatever.
If you really think like she looks amazing, maybe just like send it to her in a message and be like, wow, you look great.
You know?
It's like every time he does it, he doesn't remember the last time he did it and got shit on.
Right.
It's like every time it's like a cry for attention.
You're going to get shit on when you post it for her.
birthday you got shit on.
You comment on her picture. You're going to get shit on.
You might as well just not do it so that you don't even have to go out of your way to delete
it because at this point everyone's seen it.
You're not hiding anything.
But it plays into the show.
We know next season's coming.
We had little Kim and Tristan running.
Yeah.
Chris Brown was even more annoying.
Chris Brown was so annoying with his comments.
Rihanna posted some really hot pictures.
Yeah, she was in some Savage by Fentu Laundrae.
Yes.
Which, by the way, did you watch the...
I watched it. It was awesome. It was awesome. Bel-Hadid's scarf thing got stuck on the stairs.
Just want to put that out there. Just in case everyone wants to act like they didn't see that.
Okay. Was it like a problem? No, she pulled it. No, no, she pulled it really fast. It was like a head scarf thing. I got you. I got you. And she pulled it really fast off the thing. But I saw it and I felt bad because she looked so good. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Don't have a blow up her spot
I don't know why this is the first thing I brought up
I didn't want to like just pull up or spot
Yeah
Because I love Bella Hadid
I don't know why I just did that
But Gigi Hadid was also in it
She looked amazing
And there was so many other celebrities
I mean there was tons
Laverne Cox was in it
Cara Delavine was in it
Tons of celebrities performed
Big Sean performed
How long is it?
It was amazing
It was like an hour and 15 minutes
The beginning gives a little background
of Rihanna working on the show
which Rihanna is such a badass.
Yeah, she was so good.
And then the show happens.
You should watch it.
It's good.
It's a nice thing to throw on the TV while you're like looking at your phone.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Some soup.
Right.
Just throwing on.
Nothing but soup, so.
Yeah, exactly.
But back to Rihanna posting in the Savage Fenty.
Right, right.
Chris Brown commented he wants to be in a lamp, emojis.
Smirky emojis.
Chris Brown, you should, Chris Brown should be blocked from following Rihanna on
Instagram, it just shouldn't feel out.
I agree.
It's dangerous.
I just don't.
Also, it also just makes me think, like, what's the point?
Like, it's just such a public cry for attention, you know?
Yeah.
Every single time.
You know everybody's going to freak out when you do it.
Everybody's going to see it.
Yeah.
Or at least I would hope that they know that, but maybe they don't.
He's just an asshole.
It's so unfortunate.
Yeah.
And it's just, like, it's just unnecessary.
And then they, it's just,
of deleting shit anyway. Like Tristan, like just posts in. He ends up deleting it anyway.
So what's the point? Like you cause a whole big stir. Everybody freaks out and then you just delete it
anyway. Yeah. Attention. Yeah, they need the attention. Duh. That's why they're commenting on their
exes pictures. As we've talked about Demi Moore's tell all book came out. He talked about
Ashton Coucher, three-sumns with Ashton Coucher. He's cheating all of this. And then Ashton
Coucher tweeted out a snarky tweet about not tweeting out a tweet. Okay, yeah. So Ashton Coucher
he tweeted saying,
I was about to push the button
on a really snarky tweet.
Then I saw my son, daughter, and wife,
and I deleted it with a heart.
Then he tweeted, life is good.
Larry Cutcher.
And then he tweeted for truth, text me.
And then he posted a phone number.
What she's posted this phone number before.
I've texted it.
He's never responded.
Yeah.
I don't know what it is.
I thought it would be like
maybe some kind of good cause
tweet, you know?
Like if maybe, like I was thinking, if you texted it, you'd get a message like to register to vote or something.
Like, I feel like that would be a move Ashton Cuchar would pull.
Right.
However, I just don't, I don't think anything happens.
You just.
I think it's more of a way that he can like promote his own things.
What do you mean?
No, but he's like, he used to do this thing where he'd be like, text me and I'll talk to you.
And like, I texted the number and I got no response from Ashton Coucher.
Right.
But it'll be like a general text to like everyone who has that number.
And it's like, oh, check out my new move.
movie or like that type of thing. But I never got those. That's what I'm saying. But Ria's saying like she
texted it before and she's never gotten anything from that number ever again. I guess. I mean,
he hasn't really done anything recently. Yeah, I mean, I guess. Maybe he's just keeping
everybody's phone number in a big old database. Maybe. He could be. But it seems like
people are having problems with this tell-all because John Cryer also talked about the book.
And somewhere in there, Demi Moore wrote that she took John Cryer's virginity.
and said that she acted callous with their relationship
and that she wasn't careful
and she took something away from him.
Yeah, she said,
it pains me to think of how callous I was with his feelings
that I stole what could have been such an important
and beautiful moment from him.
I kind of feel like my sick voice is a little bit like Demi Moore-esque.
Like, you know, she is that very, like, it's a deep...
I can't hear her voice right now.
No, I can't hear it.
Just, it could be me.
Okay.
I'll just, I hear her.
What do you like me to play?
If you can find something maybe from an interview recently,
I feel like she's been doing a lot of press for this book.
But this is just further confirmed that I really want to read this book.
So like you said, she said she took John Choir's virginity.
John Choir retweeted an article saying that and he said,
well, the good thing about this is she doesn't have to feel bad about it anymore
because while I'm sure she was totally justified making that assumption
based on my skill level and the stunned look on my face at the time,
I had actually lost my virginity in high school.
And then he said, but she's right for the other part.
I was over the moon for her during a very troubled time in her life.
I have nothing but affection for her and not a regret in the world.
So he handled it the best way possible.
Like was very nice to her, but it was also like, yeah, no, like she did not take my virginity.
That was just false.
Right, which is, I mean, let's fact check here, Demi.
But that, right, that makes me think that, like, you don't need to fact check jack shit.
for a tell-all.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, she's, in her mind,
she took John Cryer's virginity,
so she put it in her book.
But in fact,
that was not the truth.
Right.
It was her truth.
It was not the truth.
I love the way you just said that.
That sounded like it was from the movie.
It was not the truth.
Yeah, so I,
always in these situations,
you never know who to believe.
I'm believing John Cryer here because I mean,
yeah, I mean,
he would know that he had sex in high school.
and yeah i mean anybody who writes a tell all is a big is a big my truth kind of person obviously that's a great
a great point all about my truth it's all about them it's all about demi's truth demis truth she
write that in her book my truth could have just been the name of the book somewhere i'm sure i'm sure
like i said we haven't read the book but boy do i want to read oh i'm going to buy it as soon as i can
yeah because i need to see what else is in this i got to look into the audio book
situation because I think I want to listen to her. I actually want to listen to it because you said it was
like she's got a great voice. Did you find anything? No. Oh so yeah. I have it. Oh. And, um, and I think the weight
that it put on Ashton. Yep. Um, a little raspy. Yeah. Yeah. It's kind of a natural thing to pull
back when somebody's, you know, clinging too tight. It's kind of a natural thing to just pull back.
She says because she had begun falling. Yep. So there you go. There you have it.
She, yeah, that's, that's her voice.
That's always been her voice.
It does sound like a sick, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
She has that, like, raspy cigarette voice that people say I have, even though I don't smoke cigarettes.
And have literally never smoked a cigarette before in my life.
Demi has definitely smoked some cigarettes in a blood.
For sure.
But I have not.
Sounds like you have.
I'm kidding.
It does sound like, well, your voice does otherwise.
No, I mean, like right now, it sounds like you have by saying.
how much you haven't. No, I really haven't. But yeah, like we said, this book really seems to
have a lot of details. Details. So that means everybody go buy it. And look, I think Ashton
Coucher is going to very much appreciate taking this side later, obviously, because so much is going to
come out and that has come out in this book. And for him to just say, like, I cannot be happier
with my family and where my life is now
is just kind of like a big F you to her, you know?
Right. And he's got Milakunas. He's got his beautiful
kids. He's doing all right.
For him to just tweet like I could have said something
but I'm not just makes obviously
makes him look better. Although of course
would have loved to see what that original
tweet was. Need to see the draft.
But that's okay.
For the sake of his family and
you know, the future and what
his kids will eventually
be able to Google about his dad
about their dad. Like it's probably the
thing to do. Probably. You're right. And also, they're already going to see all the shit that Demi Moore
put them into the law. So they don't need to see tweets about it too. That's all right. Miley Cyrus and
Caitlin Carter have officially broken up. They've ended it. Apparently, Miley Cyrus thought that they were
moving along a little too quick. They both ended their marriage just recently and the relationship
was just moving really fast. This makes a ton of sense to me. And I saw a lot of people saying that
they were obviously going through a very vulnerable time together.
They were both going through breakups.
They were both there for each other.
And then, like, that was very comforting.
And they needed that for the time being.
But then when it started to get like a little real, it was like, okay, this is not going to go anywhere.
Which is nice.
And I think they are going to continue their friendship.
Right.
I mean, this has got to be, I'm just throwing this out there.
But Kailon Carter hit one million followers.
And then two days later, they're a relationship.
relationship ended. And who said she wanted to get to one million? Right. It was, I'm just throwing that
out there. It was for sure good clout for, good clout for Caitlin. Yeah, she got to the million.
Sure. But I think that Caitlin Carter, obviously, as if you watch the hells, she wanted a more serious
relationship with Brody than what they already had, even though they were married. So I didn't think that
Miley Cyrus was going to be the one for her. Right. Either way. They had a fun time. It was a good
rebound situation. Good rebound situation. They had a good summer.
Fling. Caitlin Carter is still commenting on her picture, so they're still friends, which is the best
place to be. They're like, right, we had a good time. Let's still be friends. No heart feelings.
Miley Cyrus is single. Yeah. She's been stunned all over Instagram. She's like hiking, climbing through
these beautiful mountains and she's quoting the climb on her Instagram captions. It's just fantastic.
So it seems like she's in a good headspace, which obviously you love to see. Yeah, I love to see that
as well. And it just makes me feel like I want to go climb into the mountains.
Yeah.
You ever see those, you see those pictures?
And you're just like,
well, you know what I'm talking about?
Well, I've actually seen more than one person.
I feel like I've actually seen more than one person post from this place recently.
But it's the, I don't know what it's called.
Is it in Canada?
But it's this.
You know what the rocks?
Like it looks fake.
It looks like all looks like clay.
I think it's maybe in like Nevada somewhere.
Or the Grand Canyon.
like it.
Or people know what I'm talking about.
Like it's like these clay, maybe I'll be able to find it if I Google it.
Clay canyons.
Nope.
I don't think that's what I needed to Google.
Why?
Does something bad come up?
Nope, there's just a lot of clay canyons out there in the world.
There's not just one.
Yeah, that's not.
That's not.
Oh, I found it.
What?
Upper Antalil.
Canyon, look that up.
Maybe that's it.
Upper Antelope Canyon.
You know what?
I have a friend who just posted
from this location recently.
Maybe I'm just going to go to his Instagram.
It's the Antelope Canyon.
Okay, yes.
Woo!
In the Grand Canyon.
Wow, beautiful.
Okay, so obviously...
I got to get to this place.
So obviously that's where she is.
No, I know.
How amazing does it look?
And she just looks fantastic.
So, obviously.
One time I was in Nevada and Arizona at the same time.
Like my car.
Yeah, yeah.
And one close.
clock said Arizona, one was Nevada
and I was in the middle seat and I was like, whoa,
what time is it? I was so young.
It was one of the coolest things.
That is actually a very bizarre thing driving through
different time zones. I did that.
Looking at your phone
and seeing it bounce back and forth. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
When I was going to visit schools
in high school and we
drove from like Chicago
to Notre Dame
and back and like you pass the time zone
and you're just like in the car and like
you're in the same spot but all of a sudden
you're like just an hour just disappeared
I drove to L.A. and it was crazy because you have so many.
Yeah.
Oh my God.
Time zones.
Pretty wild.
Why do they exist? Why do they exist?
Pretty wild.
It throws me off every time.
Like let's just all live on the same time.
For the sun for the farmers.
I know why they exist.
I'm not that dumb.
I know you're saying.
I'm not that dumb.
I also know.
know exactly what you're saying. It would be nice if we were all on the same time. But that's just
not how the earth works. Now it's just not. It's just not. But it is it is crazy driving
driving across them. Driving. Marley Cyrus is there looks great. I want to be there. Yeah. I want to
be there real bad. You brush your teeth every day. You even floss sometimes. But did you know that
there's another level of oral care that you didn't even know about? With arc you can remove stains that

A-R-C-smile.com promo code chicks. Jake Paul and Dylan Danis have been fighting over Twitter.
I'll let you explain this one. Yeah, Dylan and Jacob. First of all, explain who Dylan is.
Dylan Danis is Connor McGregor's best friend. That's the easiest way to put this. Robbie Fox
actually explained it way better the other day because he's
actually really into all of that, obviously.
But he's Connor McGregor's best friend.
He's in the fighting scene.
I think he does jiu-jitsu.
He is not a boxer.
He is not a boxer.
I want to make that clear.
Jake Paul, also not a boxer.
But he's like, he's signed to a deal and he's been boxing, quote-unquote, for a few years.
Who knows?
But they have been going back on forth, back and forth on Twitter.
Dylan Danna State Savannah Montana, who is an Instagram model.
She got famous off of YouTube.
with her boyfriend.
They would make those videos on Tumblr, YouTube.
Then she just broke up.
She just became famous on her own.
She's now dating Dylan Danis.
Jake Paul married to Tana.
I didn't know who she was until you pointed her out to me a while ago.
I've honestly followed her since I was in like ninth grade.
I don't know why.
She's just one of those people.
Yeah, she had no idea.
But they got into an argument on Twitter.
Jake Paul put out a survey and was like, who do you want me to see me fight?
and he put Dylan Dennis on there.
Soldier Boy, a few other people.
Dylan Danis quoted it and said,
who wants to see me knock this pussy out?
He had 100,000 likes on this tweet.
Then Dylan Dennis tweeted, fuck the Pauls.
Jake Paul wrote, quoted that, wrote Savannah did.
Then Dylan Dennis quoted that with a picture with Tanna and wrote a teabagged your wife.
Apparently, Dylan Danis showed up to Tana Mojo's meet and greet to take a picture with her.
That's what Tanna tweeted out.
Apparently, Tana said that Savannah said that Savannah.
Vanna was in her DMs.
Yeah.
What this seems like to me is a fight promotion.
Big time.
They are planning a fight.
I mean, I think that Dylan Dennis will knock Jake Paul out.
I mean, he's best friends with Connor McGregor.
He has the training.
And he's just like way bigger and stronger.
Yeah, he's way bigger, way stronger.
And in fights.
Even though even if he is a shitty boxer like, I don't know, he just is.
He knows what he's doing.
He's bigger.
And Jake Paul is like not big.
No.
And Dylan.
We've seen Jake Paul.
Like, he's not big.
Dylan Danes has all the right tools to get better
Way more than Jake Paul does
And Dylan Dennis actually was in that brawl
When Khabibh
Oh yeah yeah yeah
He actually punched him
So that's what Jake Paul was tweeting about
Seems like a lot of fight promo
It seems like Tana wants to get involved
Savannah doesn't want to get involved
We could have a Tanna versus Savannah fight maybe
Tana versus Savannah is really something
That sounds like some rough and rowdy
Yeah, I said it's the fight of the anus.
Yeah.
That's crazy.
Just have the boyfriends and the girlfriends fight.
Like that'll be like the main event.
Main event, yeah.
Both of them.
Logan Paul actually has a fight coming up.
He does.
I saw that.
I really try and pay.
I know.
I really try and pay the least amount of attention.
To the Pauls.
Yeah.
Like I see a headline.
I'm like, okay, that's all I need to know.
And then I move on.
And I did see that, like on Twitter.
I saw like a picture of Logan Paul like, you know, up against.
to whoever it is that he's, who's he fighting?
The same guy again, right?
KSI.
Yeah, didn't he already fight him?
Yeah.
Yeah, it's a rematch?
I think it is.
Was it his fight that was like a disaster on the stream?
Like it was like the product was just a disaster or am I, or is that something else they did?
I just remember that.
I actually thought it was like a success for them.
I'm not really sure.
I could be totally wrong as well.
Could have thought it was a disaster.
Maybe that's just because I think everything they do was a disaster.
That was the wedding.
The wedding was a disaster.
The wedding was a disaster.
No, that I know.
But I feel like there is something with them fighting, but maybe I'm making that up.
I'm not sure.
Who knows?
But this could lead to them fighting it out, Savannah and Tanna both in the corners.
Who knows?
It's classic shit talk.
We talked about this with Trent.
Right.
And it's just classic shit talking 101.
You need to say that you banged their significant other.
Like if you don't mention your balls hitting their mouth, you're not shit talking correctly.
You have to do it.
Yeah, these, um, and the meat and greet thing, I think is bullshit too, because if you, like, that picture to me doesn't look like a meat and greet photo.
Like, it looks like they were in a group of people hanging out. Right. And Tanna apparently said she doesn't know him. Yeah. We don't, you never know if all of this is real. Jake, Jake, like, Jake, like, Jake, like, and he was like, angry husband. Like, and he was like, who do you know this guy? Like, give me a break, Jake Paul. You are not a jealous husband.
Living fake life. Fake lives. Yep. Fake. Fake lives. Yep. Fake.
lives. Let them do them. I'll watch the fight. Fight, boys. Do it. I'm sure they are. What did they
just get signed to? Like them, I forget the name of it, but it's like a big thing. Yeah. So they have a deal.
They got to do something. Yeah, exactly. It's probably coming soon, which I'm ready for.
We are here with Justin Hartley, who plays Kevin Pearson on This Is Us. Thank you for joining us.
Quick trip from L.A. You were just at the Emmys. That's right. That's right. And yeah,
flew in, I got in early this morning and it's still early in the morning and here I am with you.
Yes, yeah, seriously. Starting off your day right with us. How was the Emmys?
You know, it's fun. It's always, it's always surprising how shocking it is to be around that many
celebrities and people that are, you know, doing great work and people that you've admired
your whole life. And I mean, it's, so that was my third Emmy's, my third Emmy.
Yeah, my third time going, I guess, a third time in a row.
And, yeah, it always blows my mind.
When you get that many people in a group together, and everywhere you turn, you look,
and it's like, geez, I mean, like you're craning your neck everywhere,
seeing these people that you've idolized forever.
It's pretty amazing.
Do you get starstruck still, a little bit?
You know, I've never really been one to get star struck.
I will say, though, and I do, I feel like this in sort of all walks of life, like,
whether it be like movie star, TV star, athlete, you know, I've never.
rock star there are a few i think for all of us um that that that that kind of get that um get those juices
flowing it so for me it's always like my i'm from chicago right so it's always been michael jordan
yeah yeah since i was a kid i mean it's like he's yeah everything and um and and but like i'm trying
to think like at the emmy's it was i mean it was cool like seeing and i actually presented him with
an award i think last year for the kaminski method um but when you when you just when you just
look over and you see Michael Douglas standing there. I mean, that is that's super cool. It's like,
what is my life right now? Why am I standing next to Michael Douglas? That is so cool.
Yeah. It just feels like you're like in fake life the entire time. Yeah. It's really great.
So we were watching obviously on TV and the Emmys added like a commentator this year, which
they've never had before. Were you guys? Tom Lennon was like commentating after every award.
Could you? Could you guys hear? We couldn't hear anything in there now. Now it makes sense that you're
looking at me.
What do you mean?
What do you mean?
It was funny, but like also weird at the same time.
He kept talking about like the length of Emmys people had and like the actual length of.
Like if you lined them up?
Like if you put stack them on top of each other.
How many everyone owns?
Like he would only do it for certain people.
He was just making like there was a voiceover throughout the entire show.
Oh got it.
Commentated the show.
So like this person has eight feet of Emmys.
That kind of thing.
Yeah.
Yeah, like, and that equals one, you know, and they equivalent to something.
Right. Just jokes the entire time. So like when Jason Bateman won, it was like this serious moment because it was like, oh my God, wow, he's so shocked, he won.
And then all of a sudden the commentator would make a joke. And I was like, what is going on?
They kind of like made fun of them.
They were walking on stage. Oh, really? Oh, my gosh. And this is now the first time that I'm glad I didn't win.
You know what? It's the first year they didn't have a, they didn't have a host this year.
So maybe that's what they were trying to.
I know, trying to mix it up a little bit.
Yeah.
What did you guys think?
What did you think of the opening, the show opening?
Great.
You know what I really loved was I thought Ben Stiller crushed it.
That was awesome.
And Bob Neuhart, that was really, really cool.
Can you guys see, could you see The Simpsons when they?
We did.
Okay.
Okay.
So the way.
I always wonder if you can like, if they actually see that.
The audience was laughing.
So I was like, can the guests even see what's happening?
Yeah.
So what they do is if you can imagine.
imagine it's like this great big screen.
It's like watching a show of The Simpsons on a great big screen, really.
Gotcha.
Yeah.
So, unfortunately, you guys did not win this year.
What?
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry to break the news to you.
I haven't seen it yet.
Did we not win?
What is that like, obviously, you know, you're...
Losing?
Yeah, you're losing.
And everyone around you is so talented and you obviously want to be very happy for the other
people, but you're like pissed, you lost.
No, you know what?
It really is.
Honestly, I mean, I'm speaking for myself and I think,
also probably everyone on my cast and all of our producers and writers and everything.
That's not the feeling.
It's it really is, and it sounds kind of cliche to say this, but it's true, so I'll just say it.
When you look at the other shows and who we're in the same, you know, category as and who we got nominated with, it really is a humbling thing.
It really is a pinch me, like, wake me up.
This is amazing.
Never wake me up moment.
I mean, Game of Thrones.
Right.
And the last season.
And all of these shows that were nominated up against.
And they're, I don't, it's an interesting thing because people have, especially recently
have said to me, do you feel like there should be a different category for network television?
Because we have to play by different rules.
Right.
We're regulated.
We write for commercial breaks.
Like our writers are, they have, they're handcuffed a bit.
Right.
Yeah.
part of me thinks yeah maybe there should be a new category because it is kind of a different
thing that that they're doing I think we have the most gifted writers on the planet um but then part of me
is like well maybe not I mean let's not water it down everybody doesn't have to get an award right
you know what I mean yeah like these guys are just as good as game of thrones is I feel like I feel like
I feel like we are and I feel like everybody that gets nominated in that category um if any of those
shows would have won, they're deserving.
Right.
And so it's like, you know, these are the Emmys, man.
It's not a participation award, right?
Yeah.
So being nominated with those shows and being invited to the dance is wonderful.
And like you said, This Is Us is on NBC, so it's very different.
But This Is Us has been amazing because it's truly one of the only shows that I watch, like, when it's on.
Thank you.
You know what I'm like?
I stream everything.
Yeah.
You've got Netflix, Hulu, Prime, everything.
But, like, I actually have, I actually watch, like, I have YouTube TV, you know, cord cutter, but I have NBC, so I, so I, yeah.
Well, no, no, young people have cable anymore besides you.
Oh, you have cable, all right.
But, like, you have it for sports purposes and whatnot.
She's like, I live with old people, so I have.
Yeah, yeah, I know.
So, but, like, 9 o'clock, when the show comes on, like, I'm actually watching.
which I don't do for a lot of shows.
Thank you very.
And season four premieres tonight.
Tonight.
How excited are you for people to see this season?
Very excited for a couple reasons.
Number one, I think it's one of our best episodes we've ever done.
Okay.
Also, we've been off the air for a while and people are sort of clamoring together.
They need their fix of This Is Us, which is we're happy to give it to them.
And it gets season four started and, you know, so that's all great.
But also, from a selfish standpoint,
I'm happy that it's, it's premiering tonight, and that they're going to start showing these episodes
because it gets really difficult for us to keep the spoilers.
Right.
When we are, so right now we're filming episode seven.
Okay.
In Los Angeles.
And, well, I'm not, I'm here with you.
Yeah, yeah.
But we're currently filming episode seven.
And so we, so you've stacked up all of this storyline now that we haven't aired, but I have in my head,
and I have to keep secret.
So what happens when the show starts airing is instead of people,
asking you, so what's going to happen, what's going to happen?
And me being like, oh, God, I can't give away any information.
You know, I, you know, and having that.
People want to talk about what they just saw.
Right.
So it makes it a little easier for us, honestly.
Definitely.
To not, you know, mess up and give away story.
Is there any person that you have told what happens?
No.
Not one person?
Nope.
I just don't believe you.
Well, you, we're calling me a lie.
We barely, like, now we're getting off on the wrong foot here.
Yeah, I'm kidding.
I'll let it slide because you have cable.
Yeah.
Thank you.
The good thing you didn't call me alive.
I just feel like, obviously, you probably have not told anybody.
But for myself, I just, I don't think I'd be able to keep it in.
I'll tell you something.
I truly believe that people that people that want to know, they think they want to know, like, what happens next?
Yeah.
They don't want to know.
I wouldn't want to know.
They don't know that they don't want to know.
But they don't want to know.
Yeah.
And it's like if someone told you the last four.
pages of a book that you were reading that you were 20 pages in or 30 pages in you'd be like
why are you doing that there are people that flip to the back I used to be one of those guys
oh yeah yeah yeah yeah but then I then you end up not reading it right so what like why do you do
that to yourself and it's crazy people especially I think with this show um everybody really
hangs on to like every word you guys say about the show so I remember like it might have been
in the last few weeks or something Chrissy Matt said said I think she just described this season
with like an adjective with like an emoji yeah yeah yeah like we're like
What does that mean?
This season, I forget what exactly it was, but like all the headlines were like,
Chrissy Metz, that season four is like blah and everybody freaked out.
And she just didn't really say anything at all.
But it has that effect on people.
Yeah.
Which is, which is very cool.
So can you describe it in one word so that this can grow up everywhere?
Yeah.
Oh, gosh.
Season four is.
Fire.
That fits.
All right.
Yeah.
I love it.
I love it.
We are doing, we're doing a.
A musical episode.
Oh, okay.
That's great.
We're doing it underwater.
We're doing it.
No, I know.
I'm kidding.
I don't know what we're doing.
I don't know if we're doing an underwater music.
You had me back.
That would be great.
You totally had me.
I was like, wow, this is us musical?
Yeah, so is the musical action happening because I'm still lost.
Still not sure.
I had a question because I looked this up before you came here.
Oh, no.
What was it like being before Vincent Chase's time with Aquaman?
It was short-lived.
It was, but it was cool.
It was like, I think I was coming off of, oh no, you know what?
Oh my gosh.
I was going to say I was coming off of Smallville, but that's, that's complete, that's, again, I'm a lying here.
No, I was coming on, I think I was just coming off of a soap opera and I booked a pilot.
And the pilot was called Mercy Reef.
And it ended up being Aquaman.
and I think it was in the middle of like there used to be a network called the WB.
Yeah.
And now they're kind of the CW.
And so it was in the middle of all of that like transition.
Yeah.
And it ended up not working out for the pilot very well.
But I ended up, it worked out for me because I ended up getting this great gig on Smallville
because the creators of Smallville created this Aquaman pilot.
So they ended up bringing me over to, they were so nice.
And they ended up bringing me over to Smallville for this little guest stint that I was
supposed to do like four episodes or something like that.
it ended up being like six years.
Yeah.
So it worked out, yeah.
Yeah, so Aquaman worked out kind of.
Right.
Did you get to put on a suit at all?
I, no, they had, um, they had him wearing trunks and like a sleeveless, like an orange,
I had two costumes.
I had an orange sleeveless t-shirt with green board shorts and orange piping.
Wow.
And then I had, if you can imagine this, a green sleeveless t-shirt.
Yeah, yeah.
with orange board shorts and green piping.
So it was, I mean, we really stepped out of the box.
But I still own, I still own one of them.
I shouldn't say own.
I have.
I mean, I'm probably not mine.
I probably shouldn't have taken it.
But I have.
It's fine.
I have.
Yeah.
And so I'm trying to figure out the best way to sort of get some good charity money.
Yeah.
There's got to be somebody who wants that.
I don't know.
Like maybe my mom or something.
I mean, if you're listening right now and you want this costume.
I'm sure.
My mom is right now like,
I've got $10.
Yeah, yeah.
Do you take anything from set?
Do people take anything from set?
No, we don't really.
So we, especially on our show, we can't because you never know when we're going to need it again.
Right.
Because we jump back and forth so often.
But I tend to, what I do on our show now, though, is I don't collect anything.
I don't really have any memorabilia from me, from my career, things that I've done.
But what I do, because Kevin's an actor, Kevin Pearson is an actor.
and I collect his stuff.
So I have his manny chair, like the back of his manny chair.
I have a poster from this play that he did called The Back of an Egg.
I have the Hill 300 poster that he did with Bronn Howard and Sylvester Stallone.
So I keep Kevin's stuff.
Okay.
I think that's kind of interesting.
That is cool.
No, I like that.
I like that.
Do you have people come up to you as Kevin?
What do you mean?
Like recognize you as Kevin?
Yeah.
Yeah, I think so.
Yeah, a couple people.
It depends on what you know me from.
Right.
You know, people call me Justin.
People call me Kevin.
People call the manny.
I get the manny sometimes.
I get Oliver, Oliver Queen from Smallville.
It depends on if they know me or if they know the show.
A show that I was on.
Yeah, it just depends.
What's the atmosphere like on set with you guys?
Because obviously there's, I'm curious on how much time you kind of spend with people.
Because obviously there's so many parallel timelines going on.
Like, do you ever spend time with young Kevin Pearson?
That's a good question.
And not really.
Yeah.
We see each other at like events.
Yeah.
But we're never, obviously, we're never working together.
So if I'm working, they're not working.
If they're working, I'm probably not working.
Or if we're working together, we're in different places.
So we don't really see a lot of each other.
But for the most part, like the adult cast, we're very close.
We're all very close.
But like I said, I just don't see those guys that often.
Except I saw them at the Emmys.
So that's always fun to see them.
But yeah, we're all really close.
Because obviously you don't have never really needed to work with Milo or like, like, right.
That's the, I've always said this.
The only bad part of this job is I don't get to work with Milo.
Yeah.
Yeah. He just directed us though.
Oh, that's cool.
He just directed us in an episode.
I'm going to be directing an episode later on in the year.
So hopefully I'll be working with him at that point as well.
So that was fun.
All right.
Well, that's a good way to interact with each other at least.
Yeah, right.
Get to do any scenes together.
Right.
How, like, do you guys, how far ahead of time?
time do you guys get the scripts? Like, do you ever read them and think like, this is absolutely crazy?
Never crazy. I always, I always am amazed by how good they are.
Okay. You know, not to undercut. Our writers are, like I said, some of the best in the business,
if not the best in the business. But it's still like, it's not shocking that these scripts
are good time after time because you grow to just sort of realize that they're going to be.
But it's always impressive. It's always so impressive what they're writing. I mean, it's like,
gosh, after all this time, they seem to be like they're raising the bar. They're getting better.
And it's like you start to realize that this show, and that was so good two years ago,
that was like building the foundation for what this show is becoming. Right.
We haven't even hit our stride yet, really. I mean, it's unbelievable with the things they have in store.
This season, I think is our best. And I don't even think it's really close. I think it's our best by far.
I'm excited because I, like I said, I haven't missed an episode. I cry almost every episode.
Well, because you don't have a cold dead heart.
No, I definitely don't.
That's a good thing.
It is a good thing.
And it is a weird thing that I think people have really attached to that they're like,
I want to watch this as us and they expect to cry.
It's very therapeutic.
It is.
It really is.
Like sometimes you need a good cry and people are like,
oh, I just really need to watch like five episodes of this is.
Five is a lot.
Like you got a lot of stuff going on.
Yeah, exactly.
I'm going to spend Saturday.
If you're binging.
Well, if you want to cry, tune in 9 p.m.
There you go.
Yeah, exactly.
You'll laugh of it too.
Yeah, of course.
Yeah, yeah.
I've got a couple little ones to end.
Yeah, I have one more question.
Great, yeah.
Yeah.
So you obviously have a daughter and she's 15 years old.
Right.
And that's like the age where I feel like I was always cool with my dad, never embarrassed
of my dad.
Right.
We were always cool.
What's it like with you guys?
Is she like, oh my God, my dad is super cool or?
Yeah, yeah.
No.
I'm still like embarrassing moments.
Yeah, no, we're friends.
We're, I mean, we're friends, like when there's time to be friends.
Like, we're friends.
We're also friends, I should say.
Like, I'm her dad, but we're also friends, thankfully.
But yeah, I think it's cool.
Like, I get her, man.
I get her.
I understand her.
I just get it.
I get it.
You know, you're 15.
You have, she's very smart.
She's very self-efficient.
She's very, like, sort of has a lot of original thoughts and opinions about things.
And I'm very proud of all of that.
and she also is 15, so she's not quite at that.
She can't drive herself places.
And so she's limited to the things that she can access,
but yes, she has, you know, she's got all the tools,
but she just doesn't, she's not quite there yet.
So it's a little frustrating.
But I understand that.
I get that.
So we have a really good relationship.
That's great.
Yeah.
All right.
Last thing I wanted to talk about is what shows you're watching right now, if any,
and do you watch any reality TV?
What shows am I watching?
Gosh.
Do you even have time to watch shows?
I do a little bit.
You know, I think it's important to like to check in with what other people are doing.
Especially these, like when you go to the Emmys, for instance, and you see these shows and there are a few of them, I'm not going to lie, that I haven't seen.
Oh, yeah.
And I'm like, I'm going to make it a point to watch at least one episode of every single one of these shows because there's a reason.
I'm producing as well now.
Right.
So I need to, it's good for me to sort of check in and see what people are watching.
Yeah.
You know, like tonally, what's going on, what people are buying, all that kind of stuff.
So yeah, I try to sort of pepper all kinds of different television into my sort of my time, the time that I have.
But yeah, so fleabag.
Yeah.
They mopped up at the Emmys.
Yeah, that's one we have.
We have to watch.
Check it out.
Yeah.
Check it out.
And she was so funny.
She was so funny.
She was.
Just how she was maybe saying, like I got a lot of.
like the third one when she went up there and she's like this is getting ridiculous like why am i up here
she's so sweet yeah yeah that was really awesome um gosh what else am i watch i'm what am i not why
ozark i mean i'm a huge baitman fan i think everything he he does gold um arrested development
maybe back in the day like i can never get enough arrested development i feel like the office keeps
creeping its way back into my life it's so good um what else am i going are we having a fire drill
we might we might be i'm not going anywhere i'm not going anywhere
That would be unbelievable.
We are supposed to have one at noon,
so we thought we were in the clear.
Oh, really?
For this time, yes.
But we got plenty of time for that.
And then reality television.
I'm not a big reality television person at all.
I always have to ask,
because some people have hilarious shows
that they are out of TV fans.
Now, my wife is on a show that I watch
called Selling Sunset.
So she's the star of that show.
So I watch that for sure.
I enjoy that.
And then my wife is a big reality television fan.
So she watches a lot of the Bachelor, Bachelor, Bachelorette, Bachelor in your closet, Bachelor in your suitcase, Bachelor in your neighbor Bachelor.
We watch it all.
Yeah, so she does too.
And I'll kind of do drive-bys every once in a while.
Like when I'm working out.
Like, what is this clown?
Like, you can't get away with talking like that.
What's this idiot saying?
It's unbelievable.
Yeah.
But I'm like, wait, they don't really think they're going to fall in love, do they?
And then I find myself, then it's like, I'm just doing a drive-by.
Then I'll find myself like 20 minutes later, like still in their, like, life is.
going by and I'm just still watching these people like try to fall in love in 30 seconds.
Yeah.
This is, is this what?
I guess it's better than a dating app.
Yeah.
At least they're face to face.
Yeah.
that's, I guess there are a few of them that have actually gotten married and have families and stuff. So that's cool. Yeah. Yeah. That's cool. Yeah. There's actually, there are some success stories. Yeah. But you know what? Who cares anyway? I mean, if they're having fun, like, you don't have to end up together. Right. Right. Oh, we really are really. Is this really a fire drill? Yeah. They were, like, it went off like 30 minutes going there like, like, it'll happen in 20 minutes.
Oh, I thought.
Yeah, that's early, but...
Do you think it's a drill, or do you think we should get the hell out of?
No, no, no.
We got an email about a drill being at noon.
All right, well, it sounds like it's over, so I think we can...
Check the door handle.
Is it hot?
Just pat it, though.
Pat it, see the top.
Yeah.
Oh, my gosh, I think it's the first time it's ever happened in the interview.
I'll save you.
Don't worry about it.
Thanks.
Thank you, Justin.
Actually, one of the only roles I haven't ever had is a fireman, so maybe we're screwed.
Oh, no.
We might be...
But I have played a paramedic, so I will.
I'll mop everything up when we're done.
Oh, perfect.
Thank you.
Your carriage has escaped fire, and this is us.
You were a younger version.
Fire follows me everywhere.
Yeah.
All right.
Well, this wraps it up.
Thank you very much for joining us.
Everyone tune into This Is Us at 9 p.m. Tuesday, NBC.
So excited.
Everyone get excited.
Thank you.
Thank you.
All right.
That wraps up today's episode.
We hope you have a fantastic weekend, everybody.
Enjoy yourselves.
Have a great.
time. And don't forget, it is fall and it is hoodie season. We got a bunch of great stuff
in the Chicks in the Office store. So check that out. I believe the link is also in the description.
