Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Maria and Fran. We are giving you that Friday energy on a Monday, presented by Monster Energy. Like we've been telling you guys, we had a long weekend. We went to AC this weekend, which we'll talk about.
Starting point is 00:00:37 But now we're recording on Sunday, not Friday today. Yes. So with the help of Monster Energy Ultra, we're getting through the day. Like I tell you guys every time now, it is the best energy drink for you because all those other energy drinks that you drink have so much sugar, high calorie count, all of that nonsense. But not with Monster Energy Ultra. Personally, I love the violet flavor. It tastes like grape, like a purple pixie stick. It's like candy.
Starting point is 00:01:06 But without the sugar, that is the best part about it. and it gives you the energy that you need, but it's not like those normal energy drinks that you're used to. Yeah, like you said, we're recording on Sunday this week because we were in Atlantic City all day Friday. So in order for us to get that Friday energy that we had on Friday when we were going to AC,
Starting point is 00:01:29 Monster Energy is helping us out. That Monster Energy Ultra. They have so many flavors, guys. A white can is Ultra Zero. Paradise, Sunrise, Violet, which is Ria's favorite, red, blue. You always think of the, black and green cans. Now Monster Energy has just so much, so many more options. They taste great. It's not what you normally think of. So if you're looking for a little extra boost, Monster Energy,
Starting point is 00:01:52 Ultra. Is the way to go. Is the way to go. Do it, guys. It's probably Monday morning when you're listening to this right now. You need a little boost. Fran, how are you doing right now? I'm great. It was a long weekend. Your weekend has been longer than mine, but Friday we went to Atlantic City. We were filming something for the Borgata for Wals for MGM, but it was at the Borgata Atlantic City. And I mean, we just, we had a great time. It was a lot of fun.
Starting point is 00:02:20 It was my first time being like over 21 in Atlantic City. Been there a bunch, but not. It's actually kind of crazy. I haven't been there since being 21, but I have not. So we stayed at the Borgata. We got put up for one night in like the nicest room they have. It was unreal. It was like
Starting point is 00:02:41 They're sweet on like the top floor of the water club At the Borgata and it was We were just like we don't deserve this. Living nice. I asked Fran, I'm like, is this Steve Aoki's room? Like did we get placed in the wrong room? Because what is happening right now? Noah, how did you feel the trip?
Starting point is 00:02:59 Because Noah came on the trip. I mean, I was jealous because I didn't get to stay in that room. I was sent down to the dungeon. Yeah, yeah. Noah had a commoner's room. So I felt I felt bad because our suite that we were in. had three beds, a really big bed and then two extra beds. So, Fran and I thought, okay, we're in AC.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Why not just invite people to come party? Like, we have this suite. We are going to the club later. Like, let's just invite some people. And I'm glad we did because there was, like, it was a very celebratory night. Honestly, like, shout out to the Bargata and our guy, Brian, because, like, they, we were there filming a video. So, like, we thought it was more of a work kind of thing than it was.
Starting point is 00:03:39 was, I didn't realize if they would be like, oh, we're 100 podcasts. Like, we'd bring out dessert. Like, let's bring out the bottle at the club with the congrats on the 100 episode sign and everything, which was really, really cool. So because of all that, I'm so glad that we did invite people. Or also would have just been us. Yeah, I'm so glad we invited people. Our boyfriends came. I invited my sister.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Our good friend Kelly Kieg jumped on a bus to come. Shout out. Shout out. She is a real one. She is a real one. Ride or die ready to party at any time. time you hit her up like okay we need you to come party done I'm on a bus coming just left work and hopped on a bus day that was unbelievable so we had such a blast um obviously didn't really
Starting point is 00:04:22 we needed those people to stay in the room yeah we needed those people to stay in the room so Noah you know he couldn't stay in the suite he had to go back to his room but you had a nice room because you had so much food and like all these drinks and I went back to my empty fridge well the drinks was we offered drinks to you the drinks was nice but like there was water and soda, but like the, um, they did leave a very nice spread of food, but like, it got taken away very quickly. Yeah, that's okay. It was amazing because we all left.
Starting point is 00:04:50 The room service. We left to go work. Oh. We left to go work so we couldn't like just leave it all out all day. So, you know, we came back. It was gone. Fran, you fell asleep for this when we were, um, it was like four. No, I'm well aware of all the.
Starting point is 00:05:03 Oh. Yeah. We, no, I'm sharing me and Noah's, Noah's little fun experience. we had like so many grilled cheeses and 24 mozzarella sticks. Kelly said you guys just ordered so many grilled cheeses. Yeah, so many grilled cheeses, so many mozzarella sticks. Noah was like in heaven with the grilled cheeses. I just feel like that's his thing.
Starting point is 00:05:23 Look at him, he's smiling. No, no, I didn't even have a grilled cheese. You didn't have one? I had a BLT and ate all the marshmallows. Oh, because you made me order a grilled cheese and a BLT for you. No, but I did. And then we proceeded to annoy the hell out of Noah by dancing around and singing. But I feel like he had a good time.
Starting point is 00:05:39 Yeah. Yeah. It was weird. Like, I met your sister for the first time. And it just felt like I was seeing like double. Yeah. Do you think me and my sister are like? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:48 That was a quick, yeah. Yeah, you guys are. But, well, and like you said, I was asleep. But because it was late. And I left the table before you guys did. Not my decision, but I'm not, you know, not going to. We won't name names or point fingers there. Not going to name any boyfriends
Starting point is 00:06:08 You need to go home Yeah, we don't need to name any Boyfriends here I was asleep before you guys Well I wasn't even asleep I went up You know took off my makeup Thought about ordering room service alone
Starting point is 00:06:19 Like then I was like They're all gonna want so much stuff Like I don't want to mess up this order So I'm just gonna go to bed And then I was in bed I was in bed Kind of asleep Not really
Starting point is 00:06:32 When you and Kelly came in And you like started whispering shit at me and then like Noah was filming it and I was like why like I'm like in my underwear like in bed I'm like no get out of here and then like Reel was like yeah Noah get out of here and you were like Noah goes You asked me to film that was the point
Starting point is 00:06:49 I love when Noah like is like I tell him to film something And then he gets yelled that but I just feel like it's good for the video I don't know yeah like the massage when Noah started filming the massage And our butt cheeks were out Yeah yeah and look I was just Just kidding that didn't happen because he didn't make it past the door No he did it but we were like Then it got to the point where
Starting point is 00:07:06 I was in bed and I was awake now and I could hear you guys like having fun, like, blasting music and like yelling and I was like, I just, I felt like my mindset was in a different place. I couldn't like get up and join the group. I was like, I just got to go to bed. I can't, I can't do it. It was the best opportunity. I actually had to stay up past everybody because the AC broke. And Hank had an electrician come at six. No, no, no. Hank told me to have maintenance come and fell asleep within two seconds after that. I was like, I can't sleep. It's so hot. Kelly and Nicole were like, it's so hot, Rio.
Starting point is 00:07:40 I was like, fuck you guys. I pick up the phone. I call the maintenance people. They come up. Everybody passes out besides my sister and me. And she goes, oh, it's broken. The motor is broken. I got to go get a different motor.
Starting point is 00:07:52 She goes and gets a different motor. She's drilling into the wall with this motor. Meanwhile, Hank and Kelly are both sleep talking at different times. And the maintenance is listening to this. It was just sitting there. Wait, was Kelly in your room? Yeah, because. there was two beds. So Kelly and Nicole slept in one bed, me and Hank slept in the other bed. And then
Starting point is 00:08:09 the maintenance woman was in there. And it was just a party. And they were sleep talking. And then I unfortunately didn't get any sleep that night. Yeah. But that's okay. But other than that, our day was awesome. We got there. We got massages. It was my first massage ever. The spa there is beautiful. The massage was awesome. We got her hair blown out. Everything was amazing. We had a great dinner. Blackjack. I'm going to forget the name of the restaurant. we went to, is Akaya? Yeah. So good.
Starting point is 00:08:40 So good. Yeah, you guys played Blackjack. I watched. People were asking me if I gambled. I did not. No, you didn't gamble. I just watched. I watched you guys play Blackjack and I totally get it.
Starting point is 00:08:55 Like I understand the premise of the game. Like I know what was going on. But it just moves so fast. I'm just like, I don't just don't like how fast it's all moving. Really? Nope. I was like, this needs to slow down. I don't like.
Starting point is 00:09:06 this one bit. It's kind of like the adrenaline for me. No, but then there's like no like you look like you're I mean like it's literally the point of gambling but like you just lose so fast and then you're it's just it all happens so fast I'm like my brain's not processing like winning money and then losing money it was just all
Starting point is 00:09:22 well friend we left even we did so you did I didn't do anything so that's good I lost $100 no I lost $100 Nick who works on the business for he lost a quick $300 at the casino
Starting point is 00:09:37 and then we ate after so it was fine he you know we lifted up his spirits he was good yeah and then so thank you to the Borgata because that was amazing shout out to the waitress at the restaurant for not letting me eat any peanuts
Starting point is 00:09:51 oh no she was very very caring about your food allergy every single course that came out she was like you can eat this you can't eat this oh yeah she was very thorough she crushed it we've never seen somebody be that nice to know about his food allergy. I think he was going to say in general.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Yeah. No. No, no. We're nice. No. It was just, she, you don't see a lot. Like, normally you tell waitress to have a peanut allergy and they're like, okay, got it.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Like, well, I'll make sure everything's okay with the kitchen. And then that's the last you hear about it. Yeah. So we are back at it recording right now. I went to Rolling Loud this weekend. You did. Saturday night, which was a blast. Unbelievable time.
Starting point is 00:10:31 It was just great. Travis got hurt his knee on stage and, basically he was like, I think I broke my knee I watched him fall. Oh, wow. And yeah. And he just continued to perform the whole show. He was actually amazing. Yeah. Like way better. Yeah. Way better than the first time I saw him at MSG.
Starting point is 00:10:48 I will say he put on a really good show. The crowd was going crazy. It was fantastic. It seems like a great time. Right now we're recording on Sunday and I think I'm going back tonight for Aesap Rocky. I think I have to. I'm not sure it's undecided.
Starting point is 00:11:03 I think you have to also. I mean, I, it looks like, it looks so cool and so fun. Like everything is put together so well. Not a place for me. No, it's not your scene. It's a rap festival. Yeah, it's a rap festival, not your scene. Not where you're going to find, Fran.
Starting point is 00:11:18 No, I don't think you would like know any of the words, the songs. No, no, no. But it's an amazing festival because like a rap festival, they never had one and now they have this. I would look like such a fraud. Like, I'd be there like trying to like pretend like I knew what was going on. Yeah, but it's okay. because I feel like there's a lot of people doing that. Yeah, that's cool.
Starting point is 00:11:35 That's cool. Even just seeing it all is sick, but it was unreal. So it's been a fun weekend. Yeah, I collapsed on Saturday. I don't know how you did it. I just like. I haven't, I just had to sleep that night. Oh my God. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:11:49 I have no idea how I have no idea how you did it. Got back to the city, had like a fat brunch, went home, took a nap, like, and then just didn't leave my apartment for the rest of the night. That sounds like what I would usually do. Yeah. I would. you know me that's what I would be doing are you proud of me at all I'm very proud of you thank you and now like I'm like you might go back again for a third night three nights in a row I know how
Starting point is 00:12:12 would not like that would that be of me I know I kind of have to do it I think you do too I mean I because look I think if something happens at isab rocky and you're not there to see it you're going to be pretty disappointed I'm going to be upset and like you know when you have the chance to go and you've talking about Aesab rocky at rolling loud for a long time right and I've been wanting it's just it's a Sunday night and, you know, we get work and it's going to be okay. Yeah, it'll be okay. It's fine. Maybe we, maybe just come in a little late on Monday.
Starting point is 00:12:40 No, because I don't want to do that to you and Noah. Like that would be. Well, no, that's, it's fine because if you come in late on Monday, then we can come in late on Monday. No, we're heading down a bad path, Fran. We'll see. No. Yeah, why don't you just coming at like 12 tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:12:54 No, guys. Guys, it would be such a bad look. That would be such a bad look. I'm not saying that. I'm like a reason to be like 11. Yeah, yeah. Who knows? But anyways, I hope that if you are trying to recover this weekend, that this podcast helps
Starting point is 00:13:10 you. Yeah. Because everybody probably had a long weekend, whether you're out partying, whether you stayed inside. Yeah. It's Monday. So just, you know what? Yeah. It's time to get in the podcast because we have a lot to talk about for him.
Starting point is 00:13:21 Yeah, we do. And also, we want to say we haven't been doing the vote. I just said that because we got a lot of people telling us that it's time has passed, basically that maybe it was just feeling a little stale. So there have been people asking where it went and that's our response. It's tough because you always, people who don't like something are way more inclined to say it than people who do like something. You know what I'm saying? So like we see people saying, oh, we don't like it.
Starting point is 00:13:51 You shouldn't do it anymore. But you don't see people being like, oh, we really like it. I hope you keep doing it because they just think it's going to happen. And you don't see all the DMs that I have of, whoa, did I just do it? send that. Yeah, yeah. Because people are sending them. So if you want. So we took a break because we thought, yeah, we took a break because we thought people didn't want to hear them anymore. That was because we read, you know, things and then we're like, oh, we only take the negative stuff. But if you do want it, this is your chance to say you do want it. Yeah. And if you don't want it, you could say that too.
Starting point is 00:14:22 That's fine. We'll take both into consideration. And then we'll weigh it out. We'll see which one people want more. Correct. All right, friend. Let's get into the podcast. Let's get into the show. Yeah. We got a lot of topics get into. So we got Madison Brown, who is Liam Hemsworth, new lady friend, talking about the Hemsworth brothers. Very funny. Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson are really heating up. We'll get into all of that. Harry Stiles has a new song and a new music video. Kylie and Travis Scott say it's inevitable that they'll get back together. Bella, Hadid, and the weekend, there were rumors that they were getting back together, but turns out they are not. And we also have a great interview with Nina Dobrev.
Starting point is 00:15:04 She is such a sweetheart, fantastic. So let's get into it, starting off with Liam and Madison. So Liam Hemsworth has been dating a new girl, Madison Brown. She is from Dynasty. Neither of us watch Dynasty. Neither of us watch Dynasty. But if you do, then I'm sure you know her. She is an Australian actress.
Starting point is 00:15:25 So like Liam Hemsworth. and a very funny clip of her came out talking about Liam Hemsworth and Chris Hemsworth Can we play the clip? We'll play it, but I think we almost need to back up because I feel like we think we've talked about them but we haven't.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Have we not talked about them? No, because this whole thing happened this week. Oh shit. So we haven't... Oh, I forgot the Thursday podcast was the Jonas Brothers. Yeah, we haven't talked about them at all. Guys, Liam Hemsworth has a new girlfriend. Yeah, Liam's like, kissing.
Starting point is 00:15:56 and girls a girl all around the West Village. Yeah. There's just pictures of them out to eat. They're on the subway. A lot of PDA. Those were the initial pictures and more pictures came out of the PDA. Like you said, she's from Dynasty. My friends who watched Dynasty, like, freaked out because I guess she's just like a chick
Starting point is 00:16:16 from Dynasty, you know? Yeah. But like you said, we'll play the clip. Should play it right now? So very funny stuff here. They were on the Zach Sang show with Liz Gillies, and they played Fuck Marry Kill. And hers was Australian edition. Yeah, Australian edition.
Starting point is 00:16:36 You heard it. Hemsworth brothers, Hugh Jackman, and Margot Robbie. First of all, duh about Margot Robbie. Yeah, this already, like, won her brownie points for me. When she was like a Margar Robbie, because that's like, I want to have sex for the for the rest of my life. Smart decision. Smart decision. I don't know anything about Madison, but now that I know that fact.
Starting point is 00:16:56 I immediately love her. Right. If you don't pick Margo Robbie in any situation, when she's up to, like, it could be anybody else that you put her next to. You're always picking Margo Robbie. And then it was hilarious because they, first they mentioned Chris Hemsworth
Starting point is 00:17:10 and then they mentioned, they were going to do Chris and Liam separate. And she was like, well, can they be together? So she put them, made it a package deal. She said she would fuck both the Hemsworth brothers together at the same time. Unbelievable stuff.
Starting point is 00:17:24 And that she couldn't marry them because they're too hot. They wouldn't be able to leave the house. Which we have said many times about them. And this is another case of just a normal girl who ends up dating this celebrity crush. Like everybody dreams of dating Liam Hemsworth, Chris Hemsworth. He or she is saying, I can't even marry them. They're too hot for me. And now she's walking around the West Village, hand in hand with him.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Imagine if he did separate them and she killed Liam. Yikes, good thing they were together. It's almost better that she said she'd bang them both. And it wasn't that long ago. It was only like four-ish months ago. So bam, that happened pretty quick. They're seen out. Now it's just funny, like if they do end up actually dating and maybe she's around
Starting point is 00:18:09 like family things. It's less awkward with Liam, but I feel like more awkward with Chris because he's like married with a bunch of kids. So he's like, so she has to be like, hey, like yeah, I did say I wanted to bang you and your brother at the same time. Like I know your wife is beautiful at all. But yeah, I didn't say that. And also though.
Starting point is 00:18:26 Like, I feel like the Hemsworth brothers know that everybody wants to bang them at the same time. Like, there's not a girl on earth that wouldn't bang them at the same time. I think they understand. They'd be like, hi, yeah, we get it. Yeah, we know we're super fucking hot. Yeah. Exactly. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:18:42 I mean, I hope that this works out for them, whether or not Liam wants to keep dating other people. This girl who knows seems like a great girl. Madison's 22. 22, hanging out with William Hemsworth. It's like hitting the. Australian lottery. Could be any 22-year-old out there, guys. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:00 I always forget that Liam's like, I don't, not that I feel like he's older or younger than he is, but when I see 29, for some reason I feel like he's younger. He's almost 30. He turns 30 in January. Yeah, but it's still young. Oh, no, it's so young. But for some reason I would, maybe just because I, like, clock him at the same age as
Starting point is 00:19:22 Miley and that's not true. He's a little bit older than Miley. Yeah. Well, I mean, I'll see what happens. Both of them with their younger lovers. Everyone's Australian in this mix besides my husband. Everyone's young, hot and Australian. Right.
Starting point is 00:19:34 Imagine that. Imagine it's being young, hot and Australian. Yeah. Oh, what a combination. Maybe that's to be the name of our podcast today. Young hot and Australian. Young hot and Australian. All right.
Starting point is 00:19:44 Well, I think this leads us into Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson. They are heating up. But first, guys, if you maybe want to see a Miley Cyrus concert, Cody Simpson in concert. I don't know if there's exist. Maybe Cody Simpson. Maybe Cody Simpson. What you mean? Cody Simpson concerts exist. I'm kidding. Maybe not. I was just double checking. You don't know when people are doing concerts. I mean, all Cody Simpson seems to only be swimming these days. So I like everything he poses about swimming. I don't know why. I haven't
Starting point is 00:20:11 thought to really look into it. But maybe he'll be an Olympic swimmer too. Who knows. But if he is in concert and you want to see him, you see geek. And everything is made to make your ticket buying experience easier than ever. So for the people who ask for those promo codes. Or Miley Cyrus. Miley Cyrus seems to love it. She sure does. They are really picking up steam. This whole week, we've gotten a lot of content out of them.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Miley has been in the hospital. I think she's doing better now, but Cody was there in the room, just singing to her, writing songs, just wrote a whole song about her. He said the songs coming out and they've been going out. We're just seeing pictures of them basically everywhere. Cody went to the Tiffany and Co. Men's launch on Friday night and spoke to people about Miley. He said, we are very, very happy. she's creative she's very passionate about what she does and I'm very similar in that sense that's why we get along so well he said um the most important part of their relationship is he thinks because they they do get along so well
Starting point is 00:22:32 like they're very similar people but they also started off as friends first which is it he said a different experience for him because he normally like meets girls dates them and and whatever but he said they've been friends for so long and then he said we found each other again in a space where we're both not partying working real hard and it just keeps things healthy and it's good any girlfriends i've had in the past has always been immediate romance so it's a different experience having been friends with somebody before and it developing naturally into something more he also said he wrote a song this week um about mylie and he said she's pretty much forcing me to put it out she was like if you don't put this shit out i'm putting it out on your behalf for you i'm getting your Spotify login and doing this shit myself it's something
Starting point is 00:23:12 i wrote for her while she was sick oh that's beautiful i mean i'm happy for them i mean Listen, Australians, they must be beautiful lovers. Yeah, right? I mean, it's just at this point. Also, and when you, like I said, when you have somebody singing to you, we talked about this week, like, got into it because you basically called me out for listening to, like, very hot, attractive men who can sing. I'm like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:39 No, I didn't call you out for listening to very hot attractive men who can sing a friend. I said, no, I said that you really like to listen to them. love every single hot attractive guy who can sing. That's, I mean, all right. Except John Mayer, which is, except John Mayer, which is... I do like John Mayer. She's not saying what she was saying before. I don't think John Mayer is that physically attractive.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Wow, I feel you're going to get a lot of hate for this. But like, it's everything about his charisma. I'm not, though, because you guys think like everybody loves John Mayer? People don't like it. He's universally loved. No, but I know one of my best friends hates him. Well, I mean, some people hate him and some people love him. Yeah, but the thing is, with John Mayer, like, it's not just, like, outside appearance and physical attractiveness.
Starting point is 00:24:29 It's also, like, his charisma and everything about him is so fucking hot. Like, it's just everything. Like, his charisma is a hundred times more than Cody Simpson. He's just like a cool guy. He has a ton of sex appeal. But, like, when you were saying, when you were talking pure physical looks and not, you were saying, like, hot guys. physically, I don't think he's the hottest guy. Also, he's 41.
Starting point is 00:24:54 Yeah, he is 41 now. He's 41 and still sexy. This is the example you guys threw at me, so that's what I'm, that's what I was working off of. He's 41 and still, right now, uh, I'm just saying he's like, from a guy's point of you, he's like a cool guy you would want to be like, yeah, yeah, it's like the opposite thing. Like, if you're a girl and you say you don't want to bang John Mayer, you're lying,
Starting point is 00:25:13 because he's probably just so, you know, he's like an Australian. Maybe. Like smooth. Maybe. You know, he is definitely very smooth for sure. You just said maybe. If he was sitting with Ria is sitting talking to French, you would not be saying this. No.
Starting point is 00:25:27 Like you would be. Obviously not. No. Like so many, so much shit we say on this podcast, I would not say directly to people's face. I'm not saying that. It's like he's getting very defensive over John Mayer. He's like, you wouldn't say that to his face. Obviously.
Starting point is 00:25:41 I'm not trying to say that you wouldn't say to his face. I'm going to be like, you would have different feelings. Like you would have butterflies and be. I mean, put any famous person in front of me. I'm probably having that. True, true. I'm just saying. Any hot male singer, you know? Yeah, yeah, I guess so.
Starting point is 00:25:56 I mean, hot guys who can sing are great. See, John Mayer hate. Yeah, I get very defensive. I have zero John Mayer hate. I like his music. I think he's great. Seed him in concert. She just doesn't want to bang John Mayer, which is odd.
Starting point is 00:26:08 It's not even that. I'm kidding. Sorry, John. I'm kidding. He just doesn't do it for you. That's fine. Yes. It's like when you.
Starting point is 00:26:16 When I said, I don't, Cody, Simpson doesn't like I know Cody Cemetery is very hot very hot and can sing beautifully yeah but like do I currently want to have sex with Cody Simpson eh nah I mean I what am I saying
Starting point is 00:26:30 like come on I was just gonna oh that's perforstress yes remember when Blake Shelton shut up real like one people sexiest man alive yes and you were like Big Shelton he doesn't do it for me physically like right but I know Blake Shelton is attractive for a lot of people that's a bet that's a way better example for
Starting point is 00:26:47 Great example. But the fact you just put Blake Shelton next to John Mayer, that's not even close. Like, people love Blake Shelton. But it's John. Are you putting Blake Shelton above John Mayer? No, no, no. I'm not. I'm just relating my.
Starting point is 00:27:05 No, are you okay over there? I'm just shocked. I'm relating my feelings about it towards your feelings about John Mayer. I'm not comparing John Mayer and Blake. I'm comparing me and you and those sentiments that you felt towards Blake and sentiment. She said this. She's more of like a boy band, not musician. Like, she goes for like the boy band younger crowd.
Starting point is 00:27:24 Like pop. Got it. Right. Okay, everybody. I mean, wow, just calling them not musicians. No, that's pretty harsh. Yeah, no, you just went in there for a second. Harry Stiles is a musician?
Starting point is 00:27:35 No, I wouldn't classify him. You wouldn't classify him Harry Stiles as a musician? Can you let me finish? I almost jumped out of the throat. I mean, Harry Stiles is. I was supposed to say he's more in the John Mayer, like, realm right now. But he's from a boy band. that's over.
Starting point is 00:27:47 Yeah. Well, I don't really love current boy bands. I like boys that were in boy bands previously. Like the Jonas poses and they got back together, so it's great. But most boy bands don't write their own songs or play instruments. Like, I'm not listening to, I don't even know what current boy bands. I have no idea. BTS.
Starting point is 00:28:04 Yeah. I think there's one called Why Don't We? We saw them in serious. That's why it's popping in my head. Yeah, I definitely. But they're like, they're children. Like I like, they're now adults. The ones that you grew up.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Like Cody Simpson. Like everybody in one direction, they're all adults now. They're all men. Yeah, they've grown up. I mean, who knows where Zane is at this point? Harris Stiles is a... They're all men. Yeah, they are men.
Starting point is 00:28:28 So is Cody Simpson. And so is Cody Simpson. And I hate that we just got into like a comparison of John Mayer and Cody Simpson because... Yeah, I mean, there's just absolutely no comparison. I mean, in what way, though? There's no comparison in that. John Mayor is just 10 times more famous... John Mayer has had a better career than Cody Simpson.
Starting point is 00:28:49 You can't compare. They're good friends. You can't compare that at all. They're good friends. You left that out the sole time? He's a mentor to Cody Simpson. I don't know if he still is, but he was at one point. No, what, you left that out the whole time.
Starting point is 00:28:58 I think I know that. I don't think I knew that. You have said that. You said that last week. Cody Simpson loves John. Who doesn't? Justin Bieber and Cody Simpson are great pals as well. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Yep, we did see that. Double date action. Maybe. Who knows? Maybe. Unless Myles Cyrus moves on quickly. But it seems like they like each other. And they were friends, which is great.
Starting point is 00:29:18 I mean, I love that. I love that they were friends before they started dating. I feel like that's, I wouldn't say it's almost better because you really never know what's going to happen. But it does seem like a good way to go like when you're celebrities. I think it's great way to go when you are friends with a person but not close enough to be best friends and you're okay with the relationship not working out. You know what I mean? Like we can not be friends after this if it doesn't work out type of thing. I got me just saying, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:47 And I also love this move from Miley because if you're Miley and this like, you know, Australian blonde swimmer, he's like a, I don't know, he always posts about swimming now. Slash, yes, writes like this song about you when you're sick and it's just a total love song. And you're like, everybody's going to need to listen
Starting point is 00:30:11 to this song that you wrote about me. You know? Yeah. And honestly, why wouldn't- She doesn't want to keep it to herself? She's like, like, everybody needs to hear this song that you wrote about how great I am. Right. And why wouldn't he put it out?
Starting point is 00:30:22 Like, oh, you wrote a song about Miley Cyrus and she's endorsing it because she's dating you. Duh, dude. Put it out. We all want to hear it. The golden girl. Right. And we all know that nobody's happier about this than probably the people that work for
Starting point is 00:30:34 Cody Simpson. Cody Simpson's people are like, yes. Cody Simpson's publicist is just probably like crying tears of joy. Downing champagne. She's in her room popping bottles. She's like, could not be. be a better person for Cody to be dating. Yeah, it's so good. Congrats to them. So Liam's happy. I think Miley's happy. Yeah, we're in like a little bit of a PDA off right now. Yeah, it's like who can get the most
Starting point is 00:30:54 PDA out right now in the public. Yeah, I didn't really know if we were going to get that from Liam, but now we are and I just hope that they keep like dating tons of people. You know what though? Good for fucking Liam. Yeah. Because Miley has been prancing around. Listen, I love Miley and I support whatever she does. But she was with Caitlin. Now she's with Cody. That's two people now. That she's one up, one up Liam. Yeah, yeah. He has to get involved.
Starting point is 00:31:19 He's got to do something. And I don't really know anything about Madison, but I like her just from that one fuck, marry a kill. Me too. Great sense of humor. I might start watching Dynasty now just for this. Yeah, I mean, I want to become a fan of her.
Starting point is 00:31:31 Yeah, exactly. So we were just talking about musicians. And speaking of musicians, Harry Stiles, he has a new song and a new music video out. Mm-hmm. Lights up. It is fantastic. Look, we, we knew,
Starting point is 00:31:44 something was coming because I think it was maybe last week Harry just tweeted the word do that was it and that that was that was everybody everyone freaked out and the internet like absolutely exploded everybody was like what does it mean obviously people realized that like it was probably about new music so thank God it actually was and I don't like he does say like what do you mean like what do you mean in the song I'm trying to look up the lyrics of the song because there is like he uses the word do a lot on the song and uh there you go new music the music video is like exactly how he described how his new music was going to be psychedelic yeah definitely psychedelic no can we play a little bit of the song? Yeah, I mean, I like the song. I love the music video. I love the psychedelic theme he's
Starting point is 00:32:42 going for. It seems like it's just like he's on drugs in the video. I'm not really sure, but that's the vibe I'm getting. Right. It is kind of like that and it also has like sort of like orgy vibes. There's just like a lot of people grabbing at each other, touching each other. I think everybody's on ecstasy. Yeah. One might say psychedelics and they're just all feeling love. He's shirtless for a lot of the video. Just wanted to just had to mention that. So if you haven't watched it, go watch it because he's shirtless. Harry Seals and beautiful and great singer and great soul. I mean, Harry Seals is a certified rock star at this point, my right.
Starting point is 00:33:14 He really is. When he gets up on stage and I watch videos of him performing, I just can't believe how amazing he has his dancing. Like, he just has it all. He has the charisma. It's amazing. He's amazing. Because when the show that I went to at MSG was just fantastic.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Like he puts on such a great show. and I can't wait for like the rest of the music that he's going to be coming out with this this whatever second album he's got in the works and I feel like whenever he does go on a tour it's going to be considering now with this album and all the new songs it's going to be like this psychedelic theme and the concert it's going to be so cool whatever he does with it. He always wears, like, the coolest clothes because he kind of, like, crosses both sides. Like, he's masculine and feminine and all these different things, which just makes him, like, just awesome. And he always does, like, very inclusive things at his shows. The song is, like, not, I wouldn't say dark, but, you know, a little angsty, which I like. Yeah, I mean, I get what you're saying. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:20 Not dark, but just, like, on the edge. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like moody. Yeah. Yeah. I like, I like this like moody, Harry Styles. Like he gets on stage at his next tour and it's like a Broadway play. Yeah. Just dramatic. It's absolute show. We got to go see it.
Starting point is 00:34:37 There were a lot of rumors that Bella Hadid and the weekend might have gotten back together. It was Bella's birthday. The weekend was at her birthday party. So everybody freaked out thinking that they were back together. But they are not back together. They are just friends, which means Bella Hadid's bed is empty. And I'm hoping she's got some good sheets. Brooke Lennon wants to be exact. Exactly. Because you know what?
Starting point is 00:34:59 She doesn't have the weekend next to her right now. Maybe she's got somebody else. Maybe she's got somebody else. Maybe she's got the weekend. Who knows? Right. But if she wants to be enjoying the best sheets out there, she, I hope, is using Brooke Lennon.

No middlemen, just a great product and service. Sheets don't just feel great, but they look great too. Rhea and I also sleep with Brooklyn in sheets. Yes, we do. We really do.
Starting point is 00:36:03 I think we actually both have like the same steel. Well, yeah, I have steel, the steel color, pillowcases and duvet cover, and then my sheets are like a nice gray. Yeah, all of mine are steel. Ooh, see, everything that they have is fantastic. We got to try out these sheets. We absolutely love them. We haven't changed them.
Starting point is 00:36:20 No, they're so comfortable. We have been sleeping better, which is why you guys should get Brooklyn N's sheets. We hope maybe Belhadee is sleeping with Brooklyn N sheets. Starting point is 00:37:00 Brook-Lennon, these are the best sheets ever. All right, like we said, the weekend, Bell Hadid, not back together. And this kind of also falls into the category of like what we were talking about before, like staying friends after you break up and how hard it is. These two, I feel like, have always been great friends. and even though they did start dating, they've broken up and gotten back together a few times where they've still maintained a friendship
Starting point is 00:37:27 even when they were dating other people. I think that it's this type of relationship where they're always going to love each other and then when they break up, they'll find each other being friends and then they realize that they still love each other. I mean, they live together in an apartment, downtown New York City.
Starting point is 00:37:43 That was their apartment that they were sharing. And then, unfortunately, they broke up. The weekend wanted to take some time off to focus on his music and some other projects that he had. And I feel like that is kind of screams like the weekend thing to do to me. Like he's an artist. He needs to be fully focusing on his music. And when you are dating a celebrity and these type of people, I feel like it's a, they're not normal people like day to day, nine to five jobs. It's kind of an all encompassing type of thing. Like you always need to be thinking about what you want to do, your music, your job. That is how
Starting point is 00:38:15 and they're always on the move. They're always on the move. So I think celebrity really We all know are way, way harder. Yeah. And I feel like when they have time off, they find, they find a place to be together and they hang out. But then when it gets busy, then they break up. Yeah, exactly. And I think that's just how these relationships go. They are cute together, though.
Starting point is 00:38:35 I know. And I think that the apartment is like not far, not close, but not far from where I live. And I was just hoping that one day I'd run into them, walking their dog. Yeah, I mean, it's. It wasn't shocking. I also, this is a couple. I wouldn't be surprised if they do also at some point get back together. Because I guess TMZ said that everybody went wild because they were like seen hanging out the entire night of her birthday party.
Starting point is 00:39:06 So obviously people are going to talk about that. This is her birthday. And of course, you're like, oh, and he shows up and you're not going to ignore them. Yeah, apparently they are just simply good friends. And it's also like a time where, I don't know, sometimes I always laugh when I compare like celebrity relationships to real life relationships. But then because I'm like, oh, there's comparisons. But I'm like, what am I talking about? Like these people don't have similar lives.
Starting point is 00:39:34 Because I think of if you have a party or you're attending a birthday or going to a birthday and you know like an ex is going to be there and you end it on like good terms, that is the time that you do kind of catch up. say hey how's it going you know and sometimes you get caught talking for like a decent amount of time and people are like oh my god they've been talking for so long but it's really because you haven't really talked to them right after breaking up but there was never there was no hard feeling so it's like oh we'll just catch up chat yeah and move on we'll move on or also we'll catch up chat and end up realizing that we still really like each other and then we'll go home and then having sleep in bed and yeah And that's, I mean, it is what it is. Everybody has been, I mean, not everybody, but like a lot of people have been in that
Starting point is 00:40:21 situation before where you see an X and then you end up hooking up with them that night. Who knows what's happening with them. But it's like a Kylie and Travis situation where a lot of celebrity couples, it's just inevitable that at some point they're going to be seen back together again. Yeah. Even after breaking up. Well, we might as well just get right into it now because a heavy couples update podcast. I just realized that.
Starting point is 00:40:46 Yeah, I've realized it too. As you were talking, the whole thing. That's fine besides Harry Styles. But it was reported this week that Kylie and Travis are inevitably going to end up getting back together and that they're already talking about it. Yeah, I mean, not shocking at all. Like, we talked about this on the last podcast. I think we talked about this in the last podcast about that. I mean, we have talked about it recently. And yeah, I mean, it was, It's kind of inevitable. They have stormy, right? And they're raising this child together.
Starting point is 00:41:20 And they've been through a lot together. And they had to figure some things out. The same thing, the weekend. And Bella, when you're working a lot, there's a lot going on. Yeah. But they said it's kind of inevitable. They just need to work some things out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:33 So the source told e-news, they're already having conversations about getting back together. They said they know, they both know it's inevitable. They just needed some breathing room to work out a few of their issues. they want to make it work and have both expressed they miss each other and are still in love with one another. So I mean, yeah, I'm so not surprised. They could be together, back together like next week. Yeah, they can be back together.
Starting point is 00:41:55 They'll be posting together, whatever it is. There's been so many reports too. I've seen over the past week of like, Kylie Jenner wants to have more kids. Kylo Jenner wants to have a big family, like all this stuff. So I would think that maybe they would want to have another. kid or Kylie would want to have another kid with Travis just the way the family operates. Travis is an idiot.
Starting point is 00:42:19 They all have one baby daddy. Right. If he... That's great point. They all have one baby daddy. Yeah. Like even with Courtney, Courtney was like, no matter what, like I kind of want Scott to be the father of all my kids. Right. And Travis, you have this billionaire, gorgeous. Yeah, yeah. Girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:42:36 Keep it in your pants. Just lock it in. What are you doing? Any other guy would be dying to be in your position Travis Scott. I know you're Travis Scott, but you know, at some point, there's going to be a new hot rapper that comes over and it's not going to be, no offense, it's not going to be Travis Scott anymore. Maybe it will be. Maybe he'll keep making hits. I don't know. But I'm just saying like Kylie Jenner is he, I'm not saying it's all about money, but like seems like a great girl.
Starting point is 00:43:03 Yeah. And look, like they already have a kid together. And like I said, like even when, even when the Chloe Tristan stuff happened, it seemed like Chloe really wanted to try to make it work with Tristan because obviously eventually she would have wanted to have more kids but would like to keep the family together and have like one dad for all of her kids. Because that's, you know, Kim's got it. Courtney's got. So it's like I feel like that's always been something that they've thought about and that they've wanted.
Starting point is 00:43:39 I could see Kylie wanting it too. I could see it too. Yeah. It makes sense. It totally does. It totally does. And they're getting back together. Yeah, we know that.
Starting point is 00:43:49 Like it's just... We'll be talking about this on the next podcast. Honestly, Kylie might get pregnant again in like the next six to eight months. Right. And the next podcast title is going to be like, Kylie and Travis back together. Yeah. And she's pregnant. We just laugh, but like that might happen.
Starting point is 00:44:05 It might could happen. All right, guys, we have an great interview with Nina Dobrev. She just had a new movie come out. We were talking to her about that. Vampire Diaries, Degrassi, a bunch of really fun stuff. She was awesome. But before we got into that interview, I want to talk about Farmer's Dog. Guys, I have two dogs.
Starting point is 00:44:22 I don't live with them. Unfortunately, they are at home with my parents, but they are the best. I absolutely love them. Shout out, Flo and Lola. Starting point is 00:46:29 We are very, very excited to have you. I know actually both of us. have been fans for a long time. We watched all of Degrassi. I never missed an episode of Vampire Diaries. Me too. All of it. So we're super excited to have you here.
Starting point is 00:46:44 And you have a new movie. Lucky Day is coming out October 11th. Tell us about this film. It's not appropriately titled Lucky Day. It's ironic because it's probably the most unlucky day in the history of any human's life.
Starting point is 00:46:59 It's about this guy who is an ex-convict. He does his time in jail. He's reformed. He's coming out of jail and he's trying to, looking forward to starting a new life. And the day that he gets out of jail, a mass murderer tries to kill him. And so the first day out is just like running around, trying to escape some death, essentially. And I play his wife. So you play Chloe.
Starting point is 00:47:22 Explain your role in the film. Chloe is a very stubborn, hardheaded, powerful woman who is an artist and is trying to make ends meet. She's struggled pretty hard post-husband going to jail to raise their kid together, and she's from France, and she's moved to the States for him. And she's a painter, and as you know, like, nobody makes money being an artist. Yeah. So she's struggled quite a bit. And obviously, on top of raising a kid, trying to make a living, now getting chased by a mass murder is also not too fun.
Starting point is 00:48:02 Yeah. But it's fun. It's a wild ride. It's like a, it's an action movie. It's a comedy. It's goofy and weird and exciting. And just like, I had a blast making this movie. And you have a French accent in the movie. Was that fun? You can speak French, right? Don't, if I'm, if your biographies.
Starting point is 00:48:24 Yeah, I mean, I definitely used to speak French a lot more fluently when I was little. But I haven't lived there in so long and, like, visit it. I don't visit as often as I should to retain. the language. So even though speaking French in the film was like I was actually very excited about it because it's a skill set that I have that not a lot of other people do that I got to exercise
Starting point is 00:48:46 once I got on set I was so scared because there's a pressure right? Like my family's going to listen to it, my people that I know friends like I want to make sure that my French accent in French is accurate and that my French accent in English is also
Starting point is 00:49:04 like true and not like a caricature. I'm not trying to make fun of them. So it was a lot of pressure, but and it's also an indie movie. It was an indie film, so we don't have, we didn't have the luxury of like this time for studio films where you can like prep for three months. You work with a coach.
Starting point is 00:49:23 I did have a coach on set, but like I met him the day we started shooting. Actually, we went through a couple coaches and the one that we landed on was fantastic. But yeah, it was crazy. And you also speak Bulgarian, right? Yes. That one I'm like, like fully, fully fluent. That was my first language, yeah. That's amazing. So what was it like learning English, obviously? I mean, you learned it at such a young age, right? Yeah, I don't remember
Starting point is 00:49:43 learning it. Yeah. It just happened. Yeah. One day you could speak two languages. Yeah, it wasn't like, I'm going to learn English today. For some reason with the British accent. Yeah. That just always seems like the proper English. Yeah. Yes, because you grew up in Canada, obviously, we know that. And now you are in L.A. Honestly, if I had to tell you where I live, the most accurate, honest answer would be in the air on planes. I feel like I don't live anywhere.
Starting point is 00:50:18 I just live everywhere. Right. Always traveling. Yeah, we love to ask people because some people are based in L.A., some are in New York, but most of the time everyone's like, we don't have a home. Yeah, I mean, I have a physical address in Los Angeles.
Starting point is 00:50:32 I have a place in Atlanta because I shop vampire diaries there. I have a home in Toronto, which is where I grew up. We have a couple places in Bulgaria as a family. I don't own myself like all these places, but I feel like
Starting point is 00:50:48 depending on what happens, I can always like jump ship. I did say that when Trump got elected that I would move away from the states and that didn't happen. But I still have the option if I need to. Yeah, yeah. You still have Canada.
Starting point is 00:51:01 Yeah, for sure. So where did Lucky Day shoot in Toronto. It was an American French co-production. Okay. And it's an action film, so did you have to do any of your own stunts in the film? Yeah, it's an indie action film, so I had to do all of my own stunts. Yeah. Which I love. I actually really love that kind of stuff. The craziest thing was there was this, I mean, it's not like they didn't have a stunt, okay. Yeah, I just like doing my own stuff. Right. There, there was a bit where I had to, like, fall down the stairs. That's not, doesn't seem that dangerous, but I was wearing a dress so you couldn't really hide pads anywhere.
Starting point is 00:51:38 I did that. There was a bit with a machine gun, which, fun little fact, when you watch the trailer, it seems like there's a real, like, that's not, he was just going, like, kind of holding the gun and shaking it, and I had to pretend like bullets were coming out, and all those bullets are in post. They weren't really there. So imagine, like, how stupid it probably looked. Before they put the visual effects in.
Starting point is 00:52:01 That's hilarious. That's how you know I'm a good actor, you guys. Nailed it. Yeah. What was it like working with Rod Draver because everybody obviously knows him from Pulp Fiction. What was it like working with him? I actually knew him originally from...
Starting point is 00:52:18 What was that movie? Shit, this is embarrassing. I just said I knew him from it. I know from this movie that I don't know. Rules of Traction. Yes, yes. That was the first one that I knew him from because my co-star on Vampire Diaries, Ian, did that movie.
Starting point is 00:52:32 Okay. Like, back in the day. and he would talk to me about how great Roger was and what a wonderful experience it was to be on that film. So I remember when I first got the call about Lucky Day and I saw Roger's name, I was like, I don't even need to read it. Like, whatever it is, I have to do this movie.
Starting point is 00:52:47 And luckily I did read it and liked it, so. Yay. But then, of course, obviously Pulp Fiction, classic, insane. And the tone of Lucky Day is actually kind of similar. Like, it's dark and gory. and kind of crazy and definitely pushes the envelope. But it's also campy and fun. It tonally is very similar.
Starting point is 00:53:13 Right. And it's opposite of the name Lucky Day. Yes, yes. So that comes out October 11th. And you last month celebrated 10 years, 10 year anniversary since Vampire Diaries started. Because we're 10 years and one month old. Yeah, that is crazy. That's insane.
Starting point is 00:53:31 And obviously, great cast. and you're still friends with them to this day. How crazy is that? And have you watched Vampire Diaries back? I have not gone back to rewatch it. I mean, I think I obviously will at some point. The weird thing is it doesn't feel like it's been that long. Like when I got the email that they were like,
Starting point is 00:53:53 they'd like to interview you for the 10-year anniversary. I was like, of what? Yeah. It definitely doesn't feel that long. Yeah, it's kind of scary. people used to always tell me how to like appreciate everything because like as you get older time passes faster and you'll like pass in a flash like you'll snap your fingers and you'll be like a grandma and start I mean I'm not a grandma but but it definitely is passing a lot faster than I
Starting point is 00:54:21 anticipated and that's both scary and beautiful and it makes you more nostalgic and appreciative of things that you maybe didn't appreciate at the time. Yeah, right. Did you do anything fun to celebrate the anniversary? I feel like that calls for some kind of party, you know? We talked about it, but I think everyone was out of town, so we couldn't get it together. And then we actually, we had a gathering in Europe.
Starting point is 00:54:50 We all, like, Julie, Kevin, the two creators. Paul, Ian, who else was there? Karina McKenzie, Candice King, like, a lot of. lot of us ended up going to a visa and having like a mini reunion. It was for a different occasion, but we ended up all seeing each other right around that time. So it was really nice. That's good. I mean, what a place to celebrate. You can't imagine a better place to celebrate. Yeah, exactly. And this is talked about before obviously many times. Paul Wesley, your co-star, you guys didn't like each other and then
Starting point is 00:55:25 you liked each other. What happened? Why didn't you like each other? this has been eating away in her, I think, since, like, the first time this story came out. I mean, let me, I have to, first of all, say that the story was blown out of proportion. That's why I figured what usually happens. I'm such a crazy degree. I've never seen anything like it in my life for two reasons. One, what? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:50 Like, why? I mean, what else? I guess nothing else was happening that week. Because every outlet picked it up. Like, it was, like, I felt like I was Brandelina. You know what? You guys were not, okay? Like, I don't have, like, the career or the, like, we don't need to be, like, people were, like, clearly nothing else was happening.
Starting point is 00:56:10 Yeah. It blew my mind when that became a thing. Because, like, CNN picked it up. Like, why? Like, did Trump not tweet that day? Like, this is crazy. And so, it was one of those things that I was, like, I was talking about all the wonderful things that I love about Paul Wesley and how, like, for a very brief moment in time, we did not get. get along, just like any human wouldn't.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Like, if you said that you and your parents have loved each other unconditionally and your siblings, from the moment you were born until the day that you die, you'd be a fucking liar. Yeah. I don't know if you're allowed to swear, but you can't. No, absolutely. Definitely. Okay.
Starting point is 00:56:46 So you'd be lying to yourself if that was true. And so, of course, I mean, you become a family on set. You spend every waking moment together probably more moments than you do with your real family because you're there from like five in the morning until midnight, six a. sometimes. And so you, you see each other with makeup, without makeup on good days, on bad days, when you're hungry, when you're thirsty, when you're tired. So there's going to be mood swings. And it was one of those things that we just, it's not that we didn't, one of that we didn't like each other. We just didn't appreciate each other as much as we do now. Right, right. And that,
Starting point is 00:57:21 of course, got blown into a proportion. And they took one sentence out of context and deleted all the other ones. Yeah, yeah. I love him. We're best friends now. Yeah. Literally said that, like, Of everyone, he's probably my best friend and they didn't put that in the article. Right, right. We won't. Yeah, yeah. It was like, because I saw like E-News
Starting point is 00:57:38 posted it and it was just like, they hate each other. I'm like, of course I'm like, well, I'm like, because that's clickbait. Because of course they're, like, you read that headline and of course you're going to click it. So you're welcome Enews. You're welcome E.T and CNN and every outlet. Like, you got a bunch of clicks that month.
Starting point is 00:57:52 Yeah. I hope I get residuals for all the ads that you read. Because. One good sound bite. Yeah. Yeah, it's crazy. But like, I mean, the show was so great. And I think fans, like, really just connected with everybody on that show so much.
Starting point is 00:58:11 Like, it was one of those things that, like, I had friends. We all would watch it together. And we just never missed an episode. And we really, really truly loved it. And so it's nice to see you guys all, like, stay connected. And obviously, to acknowledge 10 years. and everything. This is like such a broad question, but do you kind of have like either a memory that sticks out or kind of a favorite memory from that set? Or I don't even know. It's just like I said,
Starting point is 00:58:42 very broad. I mean, it's hard to pick one moment out of eight years. Yeah. Yeah. You did it for a long time. Yeah. Oh, I watched your W magazine ASMR video where you talked about the 21st birthday party that you had. Right. Yeah. And that sounded like a lot of fun, I have to say. Yeah, I mean, it was definitely a lot of fun that day. Yeah. The following day is not miserable. I mean, actually, not that bad.
Starting point is 00:59:13 You know what it is? Like, when you're younger, the hangovers are not as aggressive right now. Like, I have to plan a drinking night and make sure that I have, like, a week off after. Yeah, right. Because you just like, don't, I can't just don't bounce back. I do not bounce back as fast. Maybe I'm not drinking enough water. that's always key
Starting point is 00:59:32 that's what we always say. I can't remember to drink enough water. Yeah, because you're drunk. Exactly. You forget. I'm trying to think, trying to think, trying to think, trying to think, one moment.
Starting point is 00:59:42 There isn't one moment. Yeah. It's like a collection of moments. It's, it's so bittersweet and nostalgic to think back at like, I mean, youth. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:54 Youth and just encompasses all of it. Yeah, and just like, it's a moment in time that we'll never get back and I look back at it so fondly. Yeah. Including all the bad days that Paul Wesley had and that
Starting point is 01:00:09 I had and that like it made us who we are like in the best way possible. And we loved it as well. And what's so great like now obviously you with services like Netflix and stuff like that people can watch it for the first time. So those who have never watched it before
Starting point is 01:00:27 get reintroduced to it. You even gets newer fans, younger fans. Although they're pulling it from Netflix. What? Yeah. Oh, my God. I didn't know that. That is horrible.
Starting point is 01:00:37 That sucks. It's one of my favorite, like, watch a few episodes. Yeah. Oh, shoot. That's a problem. Yeah, you just ruined our day. That's not, I'm kidding. Well, no, I mean, I think Warner Brothers is starting their own.
Starting point is 01:00:50 Yes. Streaming site, as far as I've heard. I hope that's not, like, a secret. No, I met. I think everybody blew it for the whole network. I think everybody is getting their own streaming service. So I think that they're pulling it in order to put it on another. Okay.
Starting point is 01:01:05 They're not like deleting it from the web. Another streaming service I'll pay for. True. Because I pay for everyone to watch every show. Exactly. Except DeGrassey, which I'm dying to get on a streaming service. Like, I look every day. I'm not.
Starting point is 01:01:19 Really? Because you know what? Like, DeGrasy was in that awkward phase. Right. That was before I knew what hair products were. That's before I knew what, like, Tweezers were, I'm pretty sure. Like, those, I don't, I'm so scared of ever watching that again.
Starting point is 01:01:36 I, somebody put my audition for the show when I was like 14 or 15 on the internet and I saw that. I was just like, head slap. That emoji with a girl like slapped their face. Yeah. That was, that's me. I mean, it's, it's a scary, it was a scary time. Yeah, I guess it's like anybody having their, like, home videos from when they were 16. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:56 Being put out there for the world to see. And for me, it was my first job. So, like, I wasn't a very good actor. Like, I just, like, didn't know what was happening. I was like, where do I stand? You want me to do what? Uh-huh. I was, like, terrified.
Starting point is 01:02:07 The whole thing is just, like, scary. Well, you couldn't tell watching it. No, I know. I know. We're all our worst critics, but it's still, like, yeah. I mean, I'm glad it's not what I'm streaming. It's all I'm saying. Um, well, besides, I mean, besides on the streaming service, you did perform, not perform, but you were in Drake's music video. I'm upset.
Starting point is 01:02:28 with the Degrassi cast, which was awesome, I have to say. It was fun. Yeah. Do you guys stay in contact? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's what that could be out there. Right. So true, so true.
Starting point is 01:02:37 I always think, because I always see a lot of the DeGrasse cast staying in contact. Obviously, you said you travel all the time. So I'm sure it's harder for those than those who, you know, live in Canada and see each other all the time. But how do you try and keep in touch? I mean, it's what you just said. I think whenever we happen to be in the same city or. Or if I see someone at an event that I'm at in L.A. or if I'm in Chirot, like it's like when I see a burger across the room, I'm really excited.
Starting point is 01:03:09 You know? And I just run up and say hi. But, yeah, we don't get to see each other's often because of the distance. But that's you. You're good. It goes right back. The Mike just fell and died on me. It was disappointed that I don't see the digress.
Starting point is 01:03:27 as often as I should. It was sad. But yeah, some people I see more than others. I mean, obviously I see Drake more than everyone else because of, because he lives in L.A. And, I mean, he also traveled. I mean, the guy, I don't see him that often. So, like, we have tea every Tuesday. Right, right.
Starting point is 01:03:45 The new headlines, you're going to be like, Nina and Drake best friends. No, no, no, no, no. I mean, he's the busiest, most in-demand human on the planet. Yeah. So, so, yeah. Well, we, I applaud you because I see, I obviously see your Instagram and you have kept like your female friends, which is awesome to see because I just, they're always like, kind of like girl gang inspiration. Like you and Julianne Huff, I think I love every time you guys post together, I'm like, these two seem like they are really best friends. Like that is so nice.
Starting point is 01:04:19 Yeah. I mean, I had like a major life thing happen recently that I'm not going to talk about it. Don't even ask about it. No problem. The girl was, I mean, she just, her album just came out, or her single just came out, Transform. She was having like a launch party and this whole thing. She performed it for the first time. And I didn't realize that that was that night.
Starting point is 01:04:38 And I was going through something. And I texted her. And she literally left her own launch party to come, like, be the shoulder for me to cry on in my house. And I, and like, that's a best friend. Yeah. That's like, that's so awesome. That's a true friend. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:52 I mean, I felt terrible if I'd known that that's what was happening. Yeah, but, you know, that's what friends are for. And not to overuse the term, but it's goals. Yeah, it really is friendship goals. It is. Well, that wraps it up. Thank you so much for joining us. Everybody check out Lucky Day, October 11th.
Starting point is 01:05:07 It is out, and we had so much fun. Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. All right, that wraps up today's show. We hope you have a fantastic week. Reminder, DM us about the woe, did I just send that? Leave a review. Let us know what you want.
Starting point is 01:05:21 And you've been asking. Yeah. We will be releasing the full Jones Brothers interview on YouTube. Look out for that this week. I'm unsure the exact day. But it will definitely be this week so you guys can watch the whole interview. And then I just, thanks to everybody for listening to the 100th episode. We had like amazing feedback from everybody.
Starting point is 01:05:42 So we were really happy. And we really felt the love. Yes. Thank you. Very, very much. Thank you.
