This is...
What's up, everyone?
It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne,
and Fran giving you that Friday energy on a Thursday.
Like usual, it's a big week.
We have The Bachelor Woman Tell All.
We didn't announce it.
They announced the new Bachelorette.
And you know what, friend?
I was going to say it's been a good week. It hasn't really, though. I was about to lie to everyone. I was about to say it's been a good week. It hasn't. Honestly, I felt like shit this week. But I'm happy to be back in the office. And also, we had a lovely, lovely weekend. I feel like we talked about going to Florida a lot. So we should say that Florida was great. Florida was great. I want to talk about one particular story that was hilarious that you had given me permission to talk about, which I'm very happy. But overall, I'd like to say thank you to your parents and your family, just for,
We had a great time.
It was really fun.
They were so much fun.
And I just felt like I was at home.
It was honestly so nice.
The beach, just getting some sun, great stuff.
But very funny, quick story that will make you guys laugh on this lovely Thursday afternoon.
If you're listening on Thursday, whenever you're listening.
Before I tell the story, I will say, if you are one of those people who DM me that get mad when I talk about weed, you should maybe smoke a joint, Karen.
loosen up.
People will DM you mad that you smoke weed?
No, no, no, all the time they'll DM me.
They're like, we get it, Ria.
Like, you think you're cool because you smoke weed.
Like, we get, I get these DMs all the time, which I brush them off because I'm kind of like, I don't think I'm cool because of that.
Like, I just smoke weed.
Like, I'm not trying to be cool.
So I would say, roll up a nice joint and maybe relax.
That's my advice to you.
Is that a mean girl's reference?
Karen.
No, no, Karen is just like the name for people who are like, you're just a Karen, you know, like complainers and whatnot.
Because this story does involve weed, but it's very funny because it also involves France family.
So my whole family smokes me.
So it was not all, not everybody.
Yeah, not you.
Or my mom.
Or everybody else.
So we, you know, we had a great weekend.
It was Sunday night.
We're coming home Monday morning.
And we're like, let's watch uncut gems because your dad had purchased uncut gems the night
before.
He didn't finish it.
He fell asleep.
Everybody else didn't see it.
So we're like, this is perfect.
What a great way to end the trip.
We'll sit down after dinner.
We'll watch uncut gems.
So we go to dinner, we go back to Fran's house, and me, Fran's brother, her sister, her boyfriend,
and her dad go outside to enjoy a lovely joint before watching Uncut Jems.
So we smoke, we're feeling good, we're feeling great, actually, all very high.
We go to sit on the couch to watch Uncut Jems.
We are about to press play.
Fran's grandparents and their friend walk through the door, and Fran's sister looked at me and was like,
Am I hallucinating?
What is happening?
We are all stoned out of our minds while France's grandparents just come moseying on through the door.
And now we have to endure conversations with them while we're all high as fuck.
And for a long time, they brought their friend Claire who's visiting them.
Who you guys have never met?
No, no, no.
Like, have never met.
She didn't know.
Like, if you were me, I was confused.
She first met me and she was like, I've been.
seen pictures of you ever since you were a baby
and I'm like me high as shit I'm like
yeah that's not me
it was it was
very funny from an outside perspective
because I just watched this all happen
like I once could and you and my sister Gia
which yes
Gia and Ria yeah
like Gia and Ria
turned around my grandpa he was very quiet
like he didn't knock he didn't like he opened the door
and he was just in the doorway
there was no warning
He was right behind the living room couch.
So, like, he's in the doorway, and Gia and Maria turned around.
They just went, hey.
It was an unreal moment.
And then, of course, you know, we're hanging out with them.
We're having a good time.
And they leave and were like, did anybody know this was happening to your dad?
We're like, did you know?
And he starts just laughing to himself.
He starts laughing to himself.
And he's like, guys, honestly, I was out there with you and I had smoked.
and then got the text from my dad saying,
I'm coming over and he couldn't,
and he was like, I couldn't tell my dad,
no, don't come anymore, I'm stoned.
Because we were leaving the next morning
and my grandparents wanted to say goodbye.
We saw them the day before.
So thankfully, this wasn't the first time
I was meeting France grandparents
because that would have been a trip.
No.
But it just made everything your grandpa was saying.
Yeah.
He must think that I think he's the funniest man in the world.
Which is great.
I was treating him like a comedian.
Oh yeah.
Who doesn't love that?
Oh, yeah.
The highlight of my trip.
Honestly, I was brought to tears from laughing so hard when your grandparents walked in.
And we all just had the same look on our face.
Yeah.
I think if your-
So funny.
If your dad wasn't involved, it would have been a way different scenario.
But the fact that your dad was also in it with us just made it more comforting.
Just feel like my dad has had many moments speaking to his parents in that state.
So he was just like, ah, whatever.
Here comes mom and dad.
Right.
Been through this before.
but honestly like I said we had a great time great laughs just I would like to go on vacation with your family again we're a good time yeah they are a good time you made me feel like I was with my family which is always a comforting feeling exactly and you know just getting that nice sun getting that good good vitamin D yeah it makes a huge difference although we have traveled more recently people are freaking out about the coronavirus I know
this isn't the podcast where we really know, you know, we don't really give news.
Yeah, we're not scientists on here.
We get pop culture news.
We don't really talk about the coronavirus.
But this shit is spreading.
People are nervous.
I'm a little nervous just because we're in New York City.
And I feel like New York City is a prime spot for the coronavirus to spread like crazy.
Totally.
So everyone just, you know, stay clean out there.
The thing is, is it's going to spread like crazy in the United States.
It's just going to happen, especially in highly populated cities.
You just have to take care of yourself.
Wash your hands, like they say.
It's simple things like that.
Don't touch your face as much if you can try and not do that.
But it's just hard.
We're in New York.
We take the subway public transportation.
Everybody's touching.
Everybody's coughing.
It's very hard to avoid.
I mean, we're in the, we're in airports.
Like, it's just.
We could have it right now.
We don't know.
Yeah.
Like the it's crazy because there is the like mayhem, you know, the hysteria is that that has come with this.
But it's most likely if you are healthy and take care of yourself.
If you get it, hopefully you will be okay.
If not, that's why most of the people that have really, really gone sick or elderly or have had underlying healthy.
conditions, but I am sure thousands of people in New York have it. Like there's one man from
Westchester. He got it. They tested, he had it, tested everybody around him, more confirmed cases
because just the more tests you do, the more people are going to have it. Like his wife,
his kids, his friend that drove him to the hospital, his family, like they all got it. They all
got it because they were all in contact
with him, which just, if one
guy is, that's 10 plus more people,
do the math.
It's going to be everybody. It's almost
unavoidable even if you do try and
stay really clean. Like if you're going to get it, you're
going to get it. But just, you know, take
precaution in any way that you can.
I'm worried for us because
we talked about this. We're going to, we're going
to Coachella. And it doesn't seem like they're
canceling it yet, although you never
know in the next week it could get even worse.
and they will cancel it.
But I feel like that's the number one place
where it would spread like crazy.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, Coachella, people are coming from all over the world
to go to this festival.
And it's just almost like we're going to receive the coronavirus.
Yeah.
And like I said, the more people who actually go and get tested,
obviously there's going to be more positive tests then.
So like once that number just grows and grows and grows,
it'll be even more alarming for people.
And then nobody's going to want to go on.
anywhere. Like if you look at like Italy is being absolutely crushed right now by it. And because of that,
like, because the numbers, it just grew so, so, so fast that schools are closed. Like, it's,
it's reached like crazy levels. So you would hope that that doesn't happen here. But,
well, let's hope that that doesn't happen here and we can continue coming to work and not have to
stay in our homes and we can continue doing this podcast because it would be quite unfortunate if
we all had to be quarantined.
Yep.
And then everyone would have to listen to a Skype podcast.
Oh, and people would be pissed.
They would just, the amount of DMs we'd get would be disgusting.
Yes, they would be pissed, but hopefully would understand the circumstances.
Yeah, hopefully.
Who knows, though?
Who knows?
And to that, we say, too bad if you don't.
Anyways, by the sweatshirts, guys.
Somebody actually just DM me and said, this was interesting.
Oh, my God, the too bad sweatshirt just got me free stuff.
I was wearing it in line about to buy my expensive boozy vitamins.
And the guy in front of me was like, here, let me pay for those because I like your sweatshirt.
Thank you, Justin Bieber and Ria.
So, guys, if you want to get free stuff, buy the sweatshirt.
And then maybe free stuff will come to you after that.
That's all I'm saying.
On that note, let's get into today's podcast.
We have some very exciting news.
Lauren and Cameron from Love is Blind are on the show.
Big interview.
We actually haven't had an interview in a while.
So I'm very happy this is it, very on brand for us.
We will also be talking about Sophie Turner's L interview, Northwest at Paris Fashion Week.
The new Bachelorette was announced.
Shout out Claire Crawley.
And of course, we have our Bachelor recap with a luggage guy, Trent, the woman tell all.
We go through it all, starting off with Sophie Turner.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas were seen shopping for baby stuff, so that's exciting.
And Sophie Turner had a new L interview come out.
Yeah, she.
had a full cover of Elle.
She looked amazing.
There's a bunch of videos that have come out of it.
She is just, she just has got to be one of the coolest people there is.
Also because even the man who interviewed her was like she is the coolest person ever.
You know, like even he couldn't, you can't deny that at all, really.
So it's just, it's, I guess, I don't know what the right word is.
It's very relatable, I guess, to see like this guy or, you know, whoever this man is that interviewed her, his name's Mike Sager, to be like she is just so cool.
The whole article, the whole article is really interesting.
I recommend reading the whole thing.
there's a lot of really just great parts to it.
What I thought was most interesting.
Obviously, they talk a lot about her and Joe,
but they did talk about Game of Thrones and the ending of Game of Thrones.
And she said that she didn't watch it because she fell behind
and then she started reading what everyone was saying on the internet.
So she never finished it.
But she said that only now is she realizing how big of a phenomenon.
It really was.
Right.
It really was.
Because when you're in it, you don't really realize it.
but now that she's removed from it,
she can look back and say,
like,
no other TV show will ever be like this.
Right.
Which I think is cool because you forget that they're living this day in,
day out,
all the actors on Game of Thrones,
that they don't realize what we're feeling,
like, as fans.
And now looking back on it,
she realized how big of a show it was.
And I also think that it's crazy,
and I don't really know if I believe
that she didn't watch the ending.
Like,
I think that,
That is insane.
And I don't know if I believe that.
That is crazy.
But I also totally, I could totally believe that.
Just because if I put myself in those shoes and had like the biggest moment of my career and it happened and it was on film, I don't know if I would necessarily watch it.
Like, we don't like watching ourselves.
Like maybe she would.
Maybe she just doesn't watch it because she just doesn't want to watch it.
I understand that.
We don't want to watch ourselves.
but we're not on like the biggest TV show ever.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Maybe that makes it even more like even harder to watch.
I guess so.
I just feel like it's so insane like knowing, you know, Joe Jonas is a huge fan.
I'm sure all her friends are big fans.
I feel like she would have had to see it at some point in her time.
Right.
Maybe it's something that you just have to like wait a few years and then you can go back just
because it's so close.
Yeah.
I feel like now it's kind of.
I think of like, all right, you can go back and watch it.
Because I think of like, actors who are like, yeah, I don't watch any of my movies, you know?
Like, Rupert Grant has not really watched like any of the Harry Potter movies.
Yeah, I guess that makes sense because you don't want to be critical of yourself.
And like, if people are saying something about you, you don't want to go back and watch it and think the same thing about yourself.
Right. Especially if you know that the public opinion is that it sucks.
Right. Then you're like, why am I going to do this to myself?
Why would I waste my time? They know what happens. They read the script.
Exactly. They did it. Yeah, I just.
feel like I would be so curious to see because it's not I'm not the only one in the show.
Right.
Like I would like to watch the other people's parts.
Yeah.
And like fast forward through mine.
Um, so I thought that was interesting.
Obviously, they talk a lot about her and Joe Jonas.
And they said that the way that they really came together, obviously was through the DMs when they were both in the UK and Joe reached out to Sophie.
But that previously before that, many, many people that were close with Joe and also close with Sophie would tell Sophie like, oh, you got to meet this guy, Joe Jonas.
you guys are so similar.
And it happened twice where she,
where somebody said to her,
like,
you and Joe Jonas are so similar.
You guys would totally hit it off.
And she said the first date that they had,
she brought her guy friends with her,
her rugby boy, she said.
And Joe Jonas brought his friend
and they went to like a dive bar that she loves.
And they just drank.
She said she was impressed that Joe and his friend
drank as much as they did and that she wasn't expecting that.
She told her friends that she would go on the date
and they were all like laughing at him and laughing at her thinking that she thought he was going to be a total dick and that she was going to make fun of him.
But they ended up the whole night just talking for hours.
She said they barely went on the dance floor.
They just went to the corner, talked for hours, and then they became inseparable.
Yeah.
It's crazy because I guess she just never really, maybe not realized, but she would just kind of go back to her regular life with her regular friends and not have that.
She wasn't in Hollywood.
It wasn't necessarily spending so much time in Hollywood and having like all that fame around
her all the time.
So like thinking about her and her girlfriends hanging around and Joe Jonas being like,
lets me for a drink and her friends being like, oh my God, Joe Jonas, that's so funny.
Like you have to go and then come back and tell us everything he says, you know, kind of
to that effect.
And she did.
She said she thought he was going to show up with like a ton of security, that he was going to
be a dick.
that's why she brought her guy friends with her just in case.
It just wasn't what happened.
Yeah.
And I think another very funny part of it was that people have talked about this before.
The song Year 3000 was actually a cover by a UK band Busted.
And Sophie said that her and her friends were huge fans of the band Busted and the song Year 3,000,
that when the Jonas Brothers came out and did Year 3,000, that her and her friends were pissed because then Busted had broken up as a band.
And they thought it's because of the Jonas Brothers, which I think is a hilarious.
background story because now she loved Year 3,000, but she gets to hear it every single night
from the Jonas Brothers. Yeah. So the Jonas Brothers had two songs that this band Busted did what I go
to school for and Year 3,000. So I guess that they, I don't really know anything about Busted.
Like I knew that the songs came from a band called Busted. I didn't necessarily know that
like the band broke up right after. I think that's very funny that Sophie was like, yeah, we didn't
like the Jones brothers because we thought they were the reason our favorite band broke up.
Makes sense?
Yeah, it totally does.
And the songs are, you know, exactly the same.
What I go to school for is a little bit different because they were, they were old,
Busted was older.
So like their song was about liking a teacher.
Like they were like, what I go to school for was to see, you know, some hot teacher.
And so obviously when the Jones brothers sang it, they had to rework it.
So it was like they changed it to be about a high school senior or, you know.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But I, yeah, the whole, that, that is, I, that is very funny.
And yeah, I don't think a lot of people know that.
I'm sure, I bet you a lot of people Googled UK band busted this week.
When this article came out, they got a ton of streams.
Yeah.
I thought the whole thing was really interested.
Interesting.
Obviously, we haven't gotten any confirmation of whether or not she is pregnant or not.
But I think it was reported that they were seen baby shopping.
Yeah, they were in a baby store.
They were in a baby store.
So, you know, they probably just are waiting for the right time to make it official.
But it seems like that is true.
This was another crazy part.
And I brought this up to Ellie this morning.
And she was like blown away that Sophie Turner would have said this.
She said, with Joe, I always felt like I was the one who was punching way above my weight.
And I still feel like that.
He's so handsome.
He's so talented.
He's so funny.
He's so charismatic.
How am I with him?
So I don't know.
I'm really lucky to be with him and have someone like him want to be around me and spend time with me.
It was like, Sophie Turner.
You're Sophie Turner.
Well, I think obviously, I mean, obviously, I think, you know, she's Sophie Turner.
She shouldn't feel that way.
100% she shouldn't feel that way.
But I do understand where those feelings come from.
She's talked about having depression, anxiety, being insecure with herself.
And I feel like that all comes from a place of thinking, you know, it can be like, oh,
I think that Joe Jonas is too good for me.
So they're both great and they're own right and they both deserve each other, I think.
That is crazy.
She was so crazy for her to think she was out kicking her coverage.
Yeah, that is insane.
But I think it's also, you know, it's not a good thing for her to think she's out kicking
her coverage because she should think she's good enough for Joe Jonas better than Joe Jonas,
if that.
But it's amazing how much she loves him.
You know what I mean?
What I take away from that is that she really, really admires Joe Jonas.
And I think that's really sweet.
Yeah.
You're right.
It really is.
And she loves having these sister, having, you know, new sister-in long.
She said it's like having built-in friends that they're actually really cool.
She can hang out of them and they obviously can bond and how crazy the boys' lives are.
Yeah, she also brought up, she brought up how Priyanka is like the biggest thing in Bollywood.
And it's so funny because we forget that here.
You know what I mean?
Like she is the most famous person there right now.
Oh, yeah.
And it's just insane.
She said they got treated like wrong.
royalty, obviously, when they went for the wedding as expected.
But there's just so many layers to the Jonas family now because of their wives and all of that,
which I think is really cool that she mentions that they all have a great relationship,
that Nick and Priyanka live 10 minutes away from them.
And even though Kevin and Danielle live in Jersey, that they still see each other all the time,
obviously, because they travel together and their best friends.
Yeah, exactly.
And she has this new show coming out on Quibi, which is very exciting when she talked a lot about
that. I feel like everybody
has a Quibi show, which makes Quibi very
interesting because there's going to be a lot,
a lot of content to watch on it.
She's like, she's actually doing a scripted show,
I believe it's called Survive.
It's a 12-part drama series based on a novel.
So that'll be very intense.
And I'm sure it'll be fantastic because I feel like everything,
everything she does is great.
Yeah, what's funny about Quibi is, you know, I've been seeing so many shows. Everybody's got a show on Quibi. I didn't realize the aim, the goal for Quibi was, I read this, was to have it be like the Netflix for people who commute.
Yeah, it's all short forms so that, and it's made to watch like on your phone.
Yes, and made to watch on your phone as, you know, you would like watching Netflix except, you know, when you're on the train or plane and you're like, oh, I want to watch Netflix on my phone, but you're made to watch on your phone.
but your phone's kind of small,
like the Quibi shows are made for your phone.
And I think,
and I also saw that.
Sounds like we're doing an ad for Quibi.
We're not,
but I'm interested because everybody has a show on Quibi these days.
And apparently with,
with how they shot it,
like if you're watching on your phone,
if you are watching horizontally or vertically,
like when you flip your phone,
the camera angle shifts also
because they've filmed it from like,
I guess, all different sides.
So that like, if you're watching
vertically you wouldn't see some things going on off to the side but if you flip it horizontally
then it's like a bigger shot it's very interesting yeah it is really cool so she'll have a show on
there and I thought that this whole article was great yeah I love reading about Sophie Turner and seeing
as much as we can about them I'm just waiting for this confirmation about the baby but soon enough
soon enough we will I feel like she loves the word dick like I feel like she just uses it often yeah and
it probably sounds cool coming from her she has that accent I can't
I can't do it, but I imagine she just sounds cool.
She really, every time she talks, she has, it's captivating.
Like, they, Elle also put out a video where she talked about past fashion moments for her.
And so, like, they went all the way back to one of her first carpet looks for Game of Thrones to, um, the Mep
gala to all different events, whatever.
But just her, just her talking about them is just very.
And she's like, oh, I hated that look.
Like, I can't.
I can't do it because obviously I can't do it.
But it's just like a slow, beautiful British accent.
I wish that she would do ASMR.
Speaking of ASMR, sorry to go off the rails for a second.
You know how I like the W Magazine ASMR videos?
And I've been waiting for new ones, right?
So the last one they did was Rosalia, which was amazing.
I loved it.
And I had been waiting and waiting and waiting for a new one.
Months and months go by, right?
They usually put out one once.
a month. It wasn't happening. Recently, they put out one with Aquafina. Yeah. It was fucking terrible,
honestly. It made me, it made me irrationally angry. And I love Aquafina. I think she's a great
actress. I think she's hilarious. Not cut out, not made for ASMR. She was too noise. She disrupted my
sleep. I was so mad at this because the W Magazine ASMR videos, I look forward to them every month
and they went five months without putting one out. And then the one they put out was atrocious.
all of the comments were like,
oh my, like, just freaking out.
Like, we waited months for this
and we have Aquafina screaming in our ear.
Which I honestly, like, I don't get
outraged that often. Like, I was
kind of upset. So it sounds like
she wasn't really taking it very seriously.
No, she wasn't taking it seriously. It wasn't that
she wasn't taking it seriously because she wasn't
disrespecting it. I sound like,
I don't care if you disrespects to ASM.
It wasn't like she was like making fun of
ASMR. It was that she had no
idea how to do it. No idea.
And she's way too loud.
She was screaming into the mic.
Well, this is why we need people like Sophie Turner doing it.
This brings me back to my point. Exactly.
I'm very, I think she would do a great one also.
We can close by just saying that like this,
this just one little paragraph that the author put in here
was just another reason why I'm like,
she's got to be the coolest person ever.
He wrote,
and so it proceeds for the next 90 minutes.
The wise cracks.
the nimble comebacks, the laughter that ricochets across the room, the swearing that she worries
may be a little less PC than most would like because English people are perhaps a little more
okay than Americans with being sarcastic and rude to each other.
Yeah, that's a good way.
I just feel like it would be really entertaining to have a conversation with her.
Yeah, I would love for her to just insult me.
I feel really proud of that.
Just make fun of you.
In a light, in a light, fun way.
Love that. Give it to me.
Hey, and watch the money to call up.
I've got to shine.
We're about to get into talking about Northwest performing at the Paris fashion show that Kanye West put on for Yeezy.

of the year. Paris Fashion Week seems to never end. All the celebrities obviously travel to Paris
models. It's all, it's, you know, has been going on for a long time. It's been going on for more than a
week. I'll say that and happens multiple times a year. I'll never really understand why they call it
Fashion Week when it's actually a fashion month, but that's fine. Anyways, Northwest made an appearance
at Paris Fashion Week. She performed. Performed at Kanye's show, Yeezy, season eight, I believe.
And she took that microphone. She did, I guess, a cover, one might say, of this little girl,
Zaza, her song. She's gone viral on.
on the internet. This little girl, she's very cute. She's also five years old. And it was all around
very adorable. Like seeing Kanye come out on stage with her. Like Kanye looked like a very proud father.
It was very sweet. Like he was smiling ear to ear. When do you ever really see him like that?
When he's around his kids. Honestly, Kanye just seems like a great dad. I know we could say a bunch
of shit about Kanye, but it does seem like he's really invested in his kids lives.
and just is so happy for them.
And this was obviously a big moment for Northwest
to just perform in front of a bunch of people.
We know that she loved Sunday service
and we see her singing her heart out there.
But she actually got on stage the one way
and performed in front of a bunch of people.
First of all, that's unreal.
She's six.
Yeah, she's six years old.
And obviously, like, it's in her blood
to be a performer at this point.
Her mom is Kim Kardashian.
Her dad is Kanye West.
She's born to be a star, born to entertain.
born to entertain.
It would be honestly a disservice to the world if Northwest didn't entertain us.
But it was just amazing to see because she is only six years old.
Yeah.
And so she did this song that is, you know, Zaza.
She's this very cute, very cute girl.
And she, oh, I guess maybe they might have taken it off their Instagram.
Oh, it looks like maybe they did.
So she posted
I guess you know
Whoever obviously runs her account
is run by her parents
I'll have to find the other part
of the other caption so I can find it
because she took it off her own Instagram
They
They basically posted like
We love that
North loves this song so much
But like hey
Maybe it would have been great
If you had asked
Or gave credit in some form
Because that is
that is their song.
But the whole thing, of course, obviously gets dramatic.
So she wrote, in July of 2019, Zaza and her dad went into the studio for the ultimate experience to finally begin making the music she wanted to make.
We take pride in creativity and believe whether a child's involved or an adult, creativity deserves respect.
What Kim Kardashian-Khani-West are doing with her daughter, with the inspiration of Zaza and our family in mind is okay.
we not mad but oh shoot oh shoot the bottom was cut off god damn it oh wait here we go we not mad but
please show love and support to the original first we admire conya west and adore his journey
however we don't want to feel like our daughter's journey in the world of entertainment is being
stifled and fair point it was a fair point you know kim carashian had replied and
it. Let's see if I can find it. Just basically saying, she said that, we love you. North is a huge fan and records in the studio all the time with her dad and is inspired by Zaza and loves Lela too. Today's performance of North's remix of Zaza song was something she asked to do at the last minute and a complete surprise. I didn't mean to not give credit where credit was due. Would love for the girls to meet soon. And so, you know, they go through all that. And I think it is going to be a, I think your grandpa just DM me.
My grandpa?
I'm sorry.
I had to cut you off.
Your grandpa just DM me.
Is it actually my grandpa?
I don't think he has an Instagram.
It's definitely your grandpa.
Let me see.
Oh, it totally is.
I didn't know he had an Instagram.
Who did she send this?
He sent that to.
You and himself?
Yeah.
Oh, Poppy.
I know.
I'm honestly getting emotional.
Who did he mean to send this show?
I know.
I think he sent it.
He wrote, Met Ria.
weekend with my granddaughter Francesco. What a delight. Love her.
Like I love it. Maybe. No. Maybe he thought he was sending it to like,
I don't even know. Do I respond? I don't know. No, because you didn't mean to send that to you.
I'm going to be like, thank you. I love you too. I feel so honored that I just got this message
that he didn't mean to send me. I honestly, I just looked at my phone like, wait. I am
I am impressed by him trying to be that tech savvy, but...
Oh, yeah, he follows you and chicks in the office.
I don't even know he used Instagram.
Yeah, he does.
Well, I wonder who...
Justin Bieber, then...
I wonder who he meant to send that.
I know, I wonder who he meant to send that to.
Yeah, I wonder too.
It sounds like he thought it was like a Facebook status thing.
No, he doesn't, he's not on Facebook.
He does, like, he doesn't, like, write on people.
walls. But when you said with my
granddaughter Francesco, that's like
not to you then. No, it definitely wasn't to me. That's what I'm saying.
I'm saying you might to send this to somebody
else completely. Yeah, he wrote love her. Yeah. Aw, that
makes me so happy. I imagine he was like,
Maria this weekend. Oh my God. She was
up. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Maybe he thinks he's like setting this to your
mom or something. Well, I'm thinking because my name is
Maria. Yeah. Yeah. On Instagram that
He's thinking, but I mean, if he go,
he's clearly using Instagram because he could see that it's me.
How could he possibly be sending that to?
Yeah, like, does he think it's a fan account?
I don't know.
I am so confused.
As am I, sorry to cut off the Northwest
conversation.
No, no.
When you get a, when you get a DM from France grandpa,
things must be discussed.
My mom's not even,
my mom's not even with them so I like can't call an ask.
And I don't really want to call my poppy and be like,
did you meet an Instagram?
Yeah, I don't want to embarrass him, you know?
Yeah.
Yeah, exactly.
I feel like we can just let this slide.
Yeah, let's just let this slide.
And he meant to probably send this to somebody.
No, I don't think you need to respond.
Okay.
Because I was going to say, like, is it rude of me to not respond?
No, it's not because I don't think he meant to send that to you at all.
Okay, but it's nice to know that.
That's what I'm saying.
It's nice to know that he loved meeting you.
Yeah.
Oh, he said I was a delight with a bunch of exclamation points.
Yeah.
Oh, well.
Wow, I really, who was that going to?
I have no idea.
Huh.
Maybe I'll have to call him and ask.
No, see, this is the thing.
We don't want to, now we don't want to embarrass him, though.
No, I know.
Wouldn't he be honored to be on the show?
Well, I wouldn't put him on the show.
I'm saying I would call him and ask him after this.
No, no, no.
Also, I don't know if we want them to listen to this episode when we talk about smoking a joint in the beginning of the show and then walking in, like, we don't want to draw attention to this episode.
That is true.
That is very true.
Yeah, I think we just let it go.
Okay.
that's very nice of him though
no matter who he was sending it to
I really appreciate it
oh man
well I'm really curious
yeah this segment just turned into a
North West performing
she smelled like marijuana
she did smell like a skunk though
oh man
I don't know who he could have said that for
I have no idea
because who would he be talking about
Like, it's not your mom or...
Right.
I know.
Who could he be communicating what's about with me?
I don't know.
And also, it's like so very clearly your Instagram.
Oh, wait, I think.
I think I know.
Oh, okay.
No.
Oh, what is it?
I feel like he saw a fan Instagram story that you shared and was trying to respond to that
person.
Yes.
Being like, I met her.
But he didn't respond to a story of mine.
He just de-mend me.
But maybe he meant to?
But he meant to respond to a story of a story of.
a person posting and just wanted to let them know?
Maybe.
That's possible.
Oh man.
I love him though.
Right back at you.
Right back at you.
You are also a delight and I also love you.
We had great conversations.
We really did.
Yeah.
Oh, Poppy, that's so cute.
Yeah.
Should we just end this now?
Well, anyway.
No, we can end it quickly because there's really not much more to that besides
I think now Kim and
Zaza's parents are going to arrange for North
and Zaza to hang out. Maybe they'll have a play date.
Oh, they'll have a nice play date. Like with JoJo Siwa. It's just so funny that
that's the age that they're at. Like, yeah, they can just have a nice play date.
Maybe they'll make a song together. I know. There's a side.
Become the youngest, most famous group.
Oh, yeah. Those two also make some good TikTok, so I'm sure.
So on top of this,
little side drama.
Tanishi commented on the
Zaza's post about, you know,
oh, it would have been nice if Kim had said something.
And Tanashi commented Northwest wishes
on Zaza's post.
And everyone went at Tanashi like,
hello, Tanashi, she's a six-year-old girl, like,
calm down. And then Justine Sky commented back at
Tanashi saying, you mad? Question mark.
And then I was thinking about this
on a deeper level. It's probably not that deep.
Tanashi wrote on Twitter.
She was like, I was just joking.
You know, I think she addressed it on Twitter.
Let's see if I can find the tweets.
Because once again, scrolling through, you know what's one of the hardest Instagrams to navigate is?
The Shade Room.
Like, they have so much good content, but it's just really, it's really hard to get through everything.
Okay, here we go.
So people were like, really T.
Why comment that?
and she was like, it was a fucking joke, y'all seriously dragging it.
You all really acting as if I personally reached out to the little girl, like, she's even
on the gram.
Like, I'm fucking sick of everyone being so damn self-righteous, please.
And then somebody was like, where was a joke?
Were we supposed to laugh?
And she goes, I swear, y'all just like to be mad about stuff.
Yeah, it was a joke.
Layen up.
Like, yes, I understand that joke in any other context of talking about someone that's not
six years old, you know?
Yeah.
Like, that's a funny joke when it's, when you're not talking about children.
but also Tanashi
used to date Ben Simmons
Ben Simmons
Kendra Jenner
She probably maybe isn't so in on the Kardashian fan
But Northwest is six years old
So let's just hold back on those comments
I love that Justin Sky came in and was like
Oh I fucking love Justin Sky
Honestly I've been following her for years now
I love that girl
Yeah I act like I know her I'm like I love that bitch
But I do
Yeah I think that's the extent of the drama
you know that Tanashi comment coming in really spice things up but you know Kim has Kim posted in her own
Instagram that this was Zaza song she's posted about a bunch of times now so I feel like everything is
okay and I guess we can look forward to seeing footage of the play date yeah TikToks whatever it is
maybe they can hit the studio with dad dads my god Kanye West produces a whole album for North and Zaza
oh my god I see it already yeah I wonder if she's got
going to keep performing it. I don't even know why I said I wonder. I'm sure she got the
thrill. Very, very important news. ABC announced the Bachelorette for next season. Her name is
Claire Crawley. She's been on to many, many seasons before. Fran, why don't you explain Claire a little
bit? Because I did not watch any of the season she was on. Okay. No, I would like you to
pull up the video of Claire and Juan Pablo from Juan Pablo's finale. It's like Claire,
if you just search their names, it'll be the first YouTube video to pop up. It's from the final
rose ceremony. She really tells them off. So for those who don't know, Claire Crawley was,
she started on Juan Pablo's season of The Bachelor, which was like 2014. She was the runner up.
And she has one of like probably the most epic moments, I would say, personally, and in, uh, the show's history of just like being the runner up and absolutely destroying the bachelor.
And, uh, it's, it was just one of those, it was also one of those seasons that was truly, this was truly the worst season the show has ever had was Juan Pablo season.
Like he, I wish I saw Juan Pablo season because I feel like I'm missing out on a huge season.
in the history of The Bachelor.
People always reference it.
They're like, it was the worst thing ever.
I mean, they cast a guy who really couldn't speak English very well.
Like there was, I mean, he could,
but I felt like he actually used that for his advantage to be like,
oh, I didn't understand what you were saying.
Yeah.
And it was so bad that Andy Dorfman, who,
Andy Dorffman was on Juan Pablo season before she became the Bachelorette.
Andy straight up left.
Like at the fantasy suites, she told him off and was like,
you suck and sent herself home.
Like that's how bad it was that like nobody
even wanted to be on the show anymore.
Really? So he ended up with nobody clearly.
He did pick somebody.
He didn't, I don't think he proposed.
Like I think he picked, he picked Nikki and he wanted,
they wanted to just like date.
But that ended, obviously.
And Nikki's gone on to live a normal life on her own.
But yeah, Claire came in, I guess you could say,
you know, came in second or, you know, was the runner up, and she laid into him.
I got to hear this.
Yeah.
I thought I knew what kind of man you were.
And I'm not done.
Okay.
Charlene.
Mm-hmm.
Didn't have the feelings for you.
It wasn't there.
Mm-hmm.
Andy did the same thing.
You had every opportunity like those other girls did.
Mm-hmm.
To tell me exactly how you felt.
Do you know how I feel?
Do you know when I made my decision?
Does it matter to me?
Okay.
I lost respect for you.
Okay.
Because I'll tell you what.
Mm-hmm.
I thought I knew what kind of man you were.
Okay.
What you just made me go through, I would never want my children having a father like you.
Okay.
Burn.
Damn.
And it's just locked off.
What's his whole okay?
Okay.
Okay.
So this was, this, you would have, I don't, I actually don't.
think he would have been able to watch this season because he, no matter what, like if he was having
an important conversation or not even an important conversation, it didn't really matter.
His response would just be, it's okay, it's okay to everything.
That would drive me nuts.
To everything.
I could see why people were so frustrated.
They were trying to have like a serious conversation about their future or picking,
he would just be like, ah, it's okay.
And everyone would be like, are you kidding me?
So he just didn't care.
No, he really, I really don't think he did.
He was truly the worst bachelor of all time.
And Claire had that kind of epic see you later.
She was like, how could you possibly dumb me like this?
Okay, so she got dumped, but Andy left.
Andy left, yeah.
And then she, there was also a lot around Claire that season because this was like really,
I would say earlier in the, oh, people are actually having sex situations.
and they had caught them one night going into the ocean together, like at night.
Everyone was like, oh, Claire and Juan Pablo, something went down in the ocean.
She denied that they had sex in the ocean, but everybody, that's what everybody had thought.
And so then after that, she went on Bachelor in Paradise Season 1.
Bachelor in Paradise was not really kind to Claire.
I didn't see the first season, I think.
I think I maybe started watching the second season.
Maybe it was the third.
Because I don't really remember.
The second season was Jaden Tanner.
Did you watch Jaden Tanner?
Okay. I think I started watching the season after that.
Okay. So she was-
And what was season three?
That I don't know.
Because I always get them, I always got them-
I think it was one and two that I did not.
Carly and Evan, I think.
Yes. Okay.
Then I 100% saw Carly.
I definitely saw Carly and Evan.
Yeah.
So I think I started watching in season three.
Okay. So season one,
she sent herself,
home week five a Bachelor in Paradise. There was just like a lot of drama. This one girl was kind of
like shit talking her and she was over it and she left. Funny enough, she actually was like looking
back, I was looking back as to the people who were on and it is pretty crazy. Like she,
it was a possibility of her with Robert Graham who had later dated Beckettilly and then
Zach Coulter who dates Helen Owens now. And so they kind of had something.
but not really and then there was this drama and she left and then season two she came back she went on dates with
this guy mikey and then she also went on one date with jared and there was kind not really some drama a little bit of
drama between like ashley being like you know fuck this girl for going out with jared um but that didn't
really work either and she didn't really have anybody so she was eliminated in the rose ceremony at the
beginning of week four.
So like she really was only on for a couple weeks on season two.
And then she made another return to the franchise for Bachelor Winter Games, which
not, I feel like a lot of people skipped.
Like a lot of people watched Bachelor skipped winter games.
I watched Winter Games.
And she came back.
This was like 2018.
And she had sort of like this love triangle situation with this German who was named Christian
and Benoit, who's a, I believe, French Canadian.
And it was very dramatic.
Like, Benoit ended up breaking up with Claire, kind of,
and then he sent himself home.
And then she was with Christian,
but that she and Christian kind of got into this huge fight over a hot tub.
The whole thing was really very dramatic.
And once again, there was very much a language barrier going on here as well.
And so they ended up going home, I believe before the finale,
because she was technically with Christian,
but she and Benoit reunited after the show,
and in the live finale show,
reunion, whatever you want to call it,
he proposed.
So then they were engaged,
but that didn't last, clearly.
No, they were engaged for,
I don't really think that long.
And then they broke up.
So she has been single for some time.
She is 38, she's going to be 39 when they start filming.
and she's obviously going to be the oldest
bachelor's that we've had.
I'm pretty excited about it.
I'm not going to lie.
I'm actually very excited because I feel like some people might be in the same boat as me for this
that they didn't know Claire or they didn't see much of her.
So there isn't anything to judge her based off of,
whereas past seasons now with Colton and Peter and Hannah,
we know them.
We've seen them in the past seasons.
We have things to judge them on.
We don't like some things they did.
We do like some other things.
And it's fresh because it was so recent.
Right.
Yes.
And you can't believe that they had gotten over these people back quickly.
You know what I mean?
Peter was just with Hannah.
We still had Hannah lingering in Peter's season because how could they just be like in a blink of an eye?
That's why I didn't think they could have Madison.
Right.
It just didn't.
That wouldn't make sense.
For them to start filming like whatever next week and it to be Madison, it would,
It would have been a way harder sell for me to believe like, oh, Madison's totally over that whole situation, wants to get married, you know.
And we still don't even know what happens with Peter and Madison.
Right.
So.
Very true.
I'm very excited.
Like I said, just because I know nothing about it, I think it's, I think I'm just excited to watch somebody that I haven't seen before from what it seems like.
I think I'm really going to like her.
She's going to stand her ground.
The clips that I've seen, I like her.
I'm really excited.
And I think because she's older, she's 38.
She's going to be turning 39 as the season.
and she films the season, I think is also really interesting
because we have been seeing a lot of younger people
who we know they don't realistically want to be getting married
at the stage. They're around our age and we don't feel that way.
So it's a lot more believable to watch a 38-year-old
be like, yeah, I really want to find somebody to marry
and have contestants on the show that are around her age,
maybe a little older than her.
Who really do want to get married also.
I feel like we do.
And I know that I say that I really like to watch for the drama
and the entertainment, but I feel like this season, Peter's season, has given us enough drama
to last for the entire year that I'm good with watching a Bachelorette season where Claire really
does find love and they're happy in the end. Like we haven't had that really. I mean, you know,
Colton and Cassie, but that kind of was a catastrophe itself. It didn't automatically happen
that Colton and Cassie were together. He had to jump a fence and go after her and this whole thing.
And then we had Jed and Hannah. And it seems like Peter's season is going the same direction where
it's not really going to end in a perfect love story.
So I feel like seeing Claire end up with somebody would be really sweet.
We'll see a wedding maybe.
I'm excited.
I'm with you on that too because one thing that they, I would say that they're good at,
you know, the producers of the show and whatnot are mixing it up like every few seasons.
In my head, I was just like they cannot cast another 23-year-old, 24-year-old
bachelor's because we have been in this cycle of, you know,
Pete, Pete, Pete season, Hannah season, Colton season.
Like, yes, Colton and Cassie are still together, but there hasn't been a marriage yet,
or, you know, since Ari.
And everyone complained about Ari's season.
Ari came out of nowhere, and it was kind of like the same sort of situation.
Like, they just plucked this guy from the past and put him back in.
But even if you really hated Ari's season, there was drama.
he picked the wrong girl.
But he did end up.
People really forget that happened.
He did end up getting married and he has a child.
So it's like it, the process worked in the end.
I mean, obviously Becca and Garrett are still together as well.
Oh my God, I forget that Beckham's.
Yeah, yeah.
But like Becca and Garrett are still together as well.
But I just, I just think that they knew that like this would be a good way to mix it up.
And I feel like they also saw everyone who's so worried.
about how young all of these girls have been and how not really I would say like attention seeking
but how clear like how obvious these girls um got into the game you know like a lot a lot of these
girls who are on the show they're going to get that influencer title right you know like
and I don't think Claire will go that right and Claire Claire's been around for a very long time
which is like what you said that it's funny because for those who have watched for years and years,
it's not technically a fresh face because we've seen her on four shows.
I've always liked, like I liked Claire more and more the more I saw her.
Like Winter Games, I liked her more than I did Juan Pablo season.
Like she got better and better.
But I think it's also interesting for people who didn't watch any of those because it technically
is a fresh face.
You don't like you don't really know anything about her.
Yeah.
And I'm sure there are.
ton of people in the same boat as me.
Yeah.
Obviously, there are people who do know her that have been, I get people like, how do you
not know who she is?
Well, it's as simple as I didn't watch her season.
Yeah.
And now I do.
Yep.
But I, I'm very excited for it.
I think this is the first time that I've heard the Bachelor of Bachelorette who it's
going to be and have been very at ease.
Yeah.
You know, when we first heard of Peter, I don't, I wasn't for it.
Right.
I turned quickly within like the first week.
I was like, I'm in.
And then Colton, you know, it was just, we all had our doubts and also hopes in the beginning of each season.
Whereas this one, I don't really have many things to complain about at all.
I actually have zero.
I'm very excited about this one.
And like you said, I think a lot, they're still in the casting process.
So I've seen a couple things from Reality Steve saying that they are cutting some of the younger.
contestants that they had possibly lined up before they picked Claire.
Like they told Claire she was going to be the bachelor's right on Saturday.
So no matter, even if they have known for longer that it was going to be Claire, they just
obviously told Claire it was just announced.
What a whirlwind.
I know.
So it's crazy.
And I'm sure they have a huge pool of men.
And yeah, they are going to have to cut some of the younger guys.
Like he at reality Steve had posted a screenshot of one.
guys like Facebook status saying that like he was 25 he's going to be on the show now he's not
going to be on the show just because of the way the direction that they went with who was going
to be the bachelorette so it'll be interesting because if I'm sure it'll be arranged like I bet
there will still be guys in their young 20s but I feel like majority will be late 20s early 30s
and then you'll have more like in the in their late 30s I would guess so it'll be interesting because
that you hopefully we get
some mature men.
I would love to see some mature men on the show.
How do you think the girls from Peter season feel?
None of them are picked.
I think they're all...
Honestly, I feel like most of them would just want to go to paradise.
Yeah, they're all set to be hot messes on Paradise.
I feel like that they scream Paradise.
They should actually just...
I don't know why The Bachelor hasn't done this yet,
but to just actually follow certain people around as a reality show
just like after the season ends.
I feel like people would watch that.
I mean, they are doing another.
Some of them could be in summer games.
They're doing summer games.
They're doing Paradise.
They're doing the other shows.
Yeah.
Which I am.
The music one.
I am very excited about the spin-off with the senior casting.
Oh, and the seniors?
Yeah.
It's endless.
There's a lot of Bachelor content coming this summer.
A lot.
We will watch all of it because we're dedicated fans.
Yep.
Yep.
So I'm very excited for Claire.
I'm not going to lie.
I think she will be great.
I think she will take no.
bullshit and I think like
she has no problem
setting people and but you know
putting people in their place so
any of these guys decide to
pull a fast one I feel like she'll be
taking them down. Claire won't be
having any of that nonsense. Yeah. Yeah.
Before we get into our
big bachelor woman tell all
recap we have to talk about
something that we all go
through. We all have a bunch of stuff lying around our house that we don't use. You know the kind of
things I'm talking about. Maybe it's some, you know, maybe you moved apartments. You're just carrying on
to things that you don't need anymore, whether it's old clothes. Um, you know, maybe, you know, if you have
kids, the toys that they don't use anymore, they're just laying around your house. Whatever it is,
we all have stuff that we don't use. An old phone, you just got a new one. You're upgrading. You
have this old one laying around. You don't know what to do with it. I now know.
what you will do with it. Let me tell you about an app you can use to sell this stuff. It's called
Mercari. Mercari is the selling app that makes it fast and easy to sell almost anything.
It couldn't be simpler. You take a few picks of your stuff, add a description, and boom,
your item is listed. Then, once it's sold, Mercari emails you a shipping label and you just

It is time to talk about the best.
Bachelor. We are almost done. We're almost there. The finale is so close and yet somehow so
far. But we had the Women Tell All on Monday night and it was the Women Tell All itself
pretty boring. Like there wasn't really I feel like a huge standout moment. It probably is
Victoria F but it would have been way more of a standout if she just said yes, I have.
with these people.
But she didn't do that.
That would have been the biggest moment all season if she had done that.
Yeah, she didn't do that.
But we could just start from the beginning.
It was a live show.
We'll say, Trent, you were in attendance.
I was, yeah.
Just get that out of the way.
I was sitting in the audience, yeah.
Yes. Trent, I'm getting tired of having to keep your secrets.
I will say.
I said to him, we've done a great job at keeping the secrets.
You guys have.
You guys have been a steel trap.
People in this office who we work with are mad at me because I don't tell them the secrets.
You guys are the only ones that I tell.
Yeah, I feel.
I feel, I love. Do you feel like you can trust me and Fran with your life now that we've kept these secrets in?
Absolutely. Especially the original Luggage Guy one, because that was three and a half months.
That was months. Where you just couldn't tell anyone. This was like nine days. So it wasn't as bad. But yeah, I trust you guys in my life for sure.
I'm not going to lie with Luggage. With Luggage Guy moment. It was so long that for like two of those months, I forgot it even happened. Like you know when you when you're told a secret and you have to hold on for it, hold on to it for so long that you just forget.
Yeah.
Like I just straight up forgot that.
that that even happened until like the show premiered.
I was like, oh shit, Trent's going to be on.
Yeah, I'm good with that too.
Yep.
So now, I don't know.
I guess we should talk about Trent first.
Let's just talk about Trent first.
Now that we're talking about it, we won't go back and forth.
A few questions for you.
Okay.
Which moment was better in your eyes now?
Because you weren't just at the woman tell all.
At the end of the show, they played a clip that you had told us about where Kelsey shakes up a bottle of champagne.
She gives it to you right away.
You chug the thing.
The splatters all over you.
Looks like cum.
the whole, sorry, the whole thing.
Yeah.
Which moment for you now was better?
The luggage pull or that moment?
I personally still like the luggage pull more.
It's got to be luggage.
You can't have one without the other, but also I like, I like playing the role of the luggage guy.
Like in the crowd, I did do the stone cold thing, which we had all talked about.
When I was on my way out there, I was a little nervous about like what to do in the crowd.
Like, am I going to clap?
Am I going to laugh?
And we had all talked about just being stone cold the whole time.
which I kept up for about five minutes because you...
But just enough for them to get it.
Just enough for them to get it because you do feel...
They take for like six hours.
Yeah.
So you do feel a peer pressure to be like one with the audience.
Right.
So if I just sat there like a crazy person for six hours and was just like, nope, I'm not going to
clap.
I'm not going to laugh.
I'm not going to smile.
That would have been insane.
But I did do it for the first five minutes and like you said, they used it all.
It's fantastic.
Yeah.
Just that one cut of all those frat boys sitting and smiling and clapping.
next to you. Did all the people around you know who you were?
The frat boys had to have known. The frat guys knew because I was kind of with them all day.
Like when I first got there, they give you wristbands on like what section you're going to be
sitting in and ours said like social. Like we were the social people from social media. So I was
kind of paling around with them all day. But there were a couple people there who were just like,
oh, that's the luggage guy. Yeah. But not everybody, but a few.
Were you relieved that the frat guys were there so that you had some people to talk to? Because
it is six hours long.
Um, yeah, it was, it was nice, I suppose. I didn't expect that. You actually like being alone, so I feel like. I love being alone. I feel like maybe you would have liked to just like not talk to anybody. I'm good either way. I'm good with it either way. It was nice to have somebody to talk to. They're familiar with Barstool. Barstool was the account that posted the video that made it go super viral. So they kind of knew the deal. So it was nice to have them there. But I would have been fine by myself, but it was nice to have someone to talk about. Because it is a crazy experience. You're there for so long. Those guys are there into the show. So it was kind of like, oh,
Oh man, it's crazy that we're now going to be part of the show.
But yeah, I guess it was nice to have somebody to talk to because, like I said, it is very long.
Very long.
Six hours, you said.
No phone for that amount of time.
That was my biggest thing.
It was the scariest thing.
I thought I was going to get out of there, turn my phone on and the world was just going to be over.
I thought a lot of things, Tiger Woods.
I thought a lot of things specific to my life were going to wait to happen until I didn't have my phone for, I didn't have it for eight hours.
They take it.
You get there like 1030 in the morning, check in, and they take it right away.
And you don't get it back until 7 o'clock.
So it's like eight and a half hours without your phone.
And you got your phone back and you said you had three texts.
Nothing happened.
Yeah. Damn.
Not too embarrassed you.
I'll be honest.
I forgot about that part of it.
If we're going to get fax out, let's talk about the facts.
Talk about how you only had three texts.
How do you feel about nothing?
I will say though there is something about like.
Trent,
I did think about texting you multiple times, but I knew you did have your phone.
There's something about when you put your phone away for a long amount of time,
when you think you're going to get back to your phone
and there's going to be a billion.
and text and that's the moment where you get your phone and there's nothing.
That's always when there's zero.
And those are, you know, heartbreaking moments where you want to go check your phone and see a lot
of texts.
I'm not trying to make you feel bad.
This has happened to me.
This has happened to everybody that when you put your phone away for a long time,
you expect a text and you just don't get it.
The opposite did happen.
Nothing happened when I was in there.
Nothing.
Nothing in my life changed.
Nothing in my personal life.
Nothing in my professional life.
It was business as usual.
I'm saying this is a positive
It is the best outcome
But you do kind of wish like
Man I think the world would fall apart without me
But that is very much not the case
So it wasn't too bad having mine
That's how it should be
Because when it airs
You have a million people
Oh yeah
That's yeah, that's true
The response again has been awesome
I love
We talked a little bit about
Just tons of Trent memes
I know
Getting memed is one of my favorite things
When they
When Chris Harrison threw to the crowd
And was like these are the guys from
I keep forgetting the name of the college
But the Grove City
Grove City.
That's where they're from.
They all raise their hand.
I don't raise my hand.
Meme.
That's perfect.
Me, looking like a serial killer with no expression.
Meme.
You're getting campaign blown on your face.
Mersed all over.
Meme.
So those parts have been very, very cool.
How was meeting Kelsey?
Because you did have a conversation.
Yeah.
Slightly.
We had a little bit of conversation.
They pull you out of the crowd and they're just like,
right here's what's going to happen.
She's going to shake the champagne up and then give it to you.
I sort of got the vibe that Kelsey doesn't love me.
Because I don't think I've said crazy, like outlandish mean things about her.
I'm pretty sure I haven't.
I don't think we've said crazy outlandish mean things about anybody.
Yeah.
You've defended her because she's from Iowa.
That's right.
We have that in common.
So I don't know.
I've just got that vibe.
But then as it went on, it just seemed like she was very friendly.
And it wasn't a problem.
Maybe it was just a playful like, ooh, I'm going to act like.
I hate you just to like, you know, for the camera because obviously this moment, she had to shake it up.
Right.
And you're like the luggage guy kind of has maybe a little bit of evil attached to it.
Like you're, you know.
Looking back on now, I think that's what it was.
Right.
Like you're like, like they call them the Grim Reaper.
Like you're like taking sending somebody home.
And also I could see if maybe Kelsey had seen like a blanket of just our recaps or chicks in the office of us talking about this season.
Yeah.
of just us saying like, all these girls are crazy, you know, like without ever actually
maybe listening to a full thing.
But she, she seems very sweet and very nice.
And I thought, like, we, she said that she messaged you back just like, ha, ha, so funny.
Oh, yeah.
After it all happened, after it actually aired, I was putting up, like I always do, my
insid stories are very, like, I put up so many of them.
They're just tiny.
I don't know.
I'm just like doing it.
I'm not going to stop doing it.
If I continue to be on the show.
I'm going to post a lot of Insta stories.
But she saw them and she responded to one of them
was like, oh my gosh, it was so funny.
I was like, it went so well.
It came out so well.
And that was kind of the extent of our interaction.
But yeah, once I got blasted with the champagne,
it was just very funny and it was really fun.
But it was just quite an experience.
So happy for you, Trent.
Thank you.
I really am happy for you.
I think that all of the Chicks in the Office fans are really happy for you.
We posted it on Twitter.
We posted it on our Instagram.
Everyone's freaking out.
Oh, my gosh.
it's Trent and they're all going crazy.
It makes me so happy to see.
I,
just like I feel like everybody else,
did not expect the credit scene to happen
because you had told us about that,
but you didn't say where it would be used.
I don't even think if you would have known
it was going to be used at that point.
No, because it wasn't one of those things
where it has a clear place in the show.
It's like, we're going to pull you out,
we're going to have you drink champagne,
do your own champagne gate.
I was like, I'll definitely do it.
And then once we got done doing it,
I was like, I don't know where.
that's going to go.
So I didn't, I did tell you guys, but I wasn't sure if they were actually going to use it.
Because they cut a lot of stuff.
Like they filmed for six hours and then they have to cut it down to an hour and a half.
So things are going to get cut.
Was that at the end?
Like when you actually did it?
That was at the end.
Yeah.
Pretty much right at the very end they did it.
So I just thought they might cut it and they might not use it.
Whatever.
Two more questions to end it.
So were you as surprised when it popped up as everybody else?
Like were you going crazy in your apartment when you saw it?
The only reason my answer is no is because.
Robert Mills tweeted early in the show after people noticed me in the audience.
They were like, if you want to see more of Trent, wait for the credit.
That is true.
He did say it.
I didn't even see that tweet.
I was happy.
That's great.
Because I truthfully, I saw Kelsey with the champagne bottle.
I broke out my phone immediately.
I was like, I don't know.
I heard you in the background.
I think I heard Trent go.
Oh, God.
And I was, oh, my God, Trent.
I started filming immediately.
I was going to shut it off.
I mean, by the time that ended, I was like, okay, whatever, this is woman to tell
all.
How honored do you feel that you said they film for six hours?
There's so much they cut out.
But they left that moment of you.
That has to feel amazing knowing how important you are for people to talk about it.
Wow.
No, it was very cool.
Looking back, I'm really glad that they used it because me being in the crowd is funny.
And that's kind of what I wanted.
If I had envisioned like when I was, they first reached out and they said, do you want to come and be in the crowd, the wind tall?
My vision of that was exactly what happened.
I wanted them to get me like stone face in the crowd as the luggage guy.
And then just as the cherry on top, they're like, come do this champagne thing.
I would have been more than happy if that just hadn't aired.
But then it did.
And it just felt like, all right, now I really am like, I'm just a part of the Bachelor of Universe.
It's crazy.
It's wild, but it's really, it's pretty fucking cool.
You are the luggage guy.
Yeah.
The video that Natasha put on her Instagram story was so funny.
Just, just, hey boo, just play it.
She's like, did you all see Marcel Trent?
Hey, boo.
Sorry, there's no luggage for you today.
Oh, there's, there's Trent.
Hey, boo.
Yeah.
So, so good.
Very cool.
It's nice to know that there's no hard feelings.
Yeah.
There's no bad blood.
I'm just the luggage guy.
I didn't specifically ask to take her luggage in Peru.
It just so happened to be her luggage there.
She clearly understands that.
We have a special bond forever.
We have a very special bond forever.
And if I continue to be.
be the luggage guy, which I hopefully I am.
I hope I have a similar,
similar relationship with all the other girls
whose luggage I pull.
Yeah.
Wow, you are the luggage guy.
I'm thinking, I'm thinking like, sorry,
one more question about this.
Yep.
Many people are saying that they would love for you to be the bachelor.
And now I know that that's not really a thing that's going to happen.
No offense.
Nobody text me.
I get no text.
Three texts over eight hours.
Yeah.
Would you do it if they,
came to you though about that.
No.
See, I know people would be, no.
Think you're crazy for saying that, but that's the answer I expected for me.
No, I would turn it down for sure.
I would turn down being The Bachelor.
And the reason is, look what happened to Pete during this season.
Yeah.
You go in, everybody loves you, and then you get over-exposed and you make a couple of mistakes,
which, by the way, if I was dating 30 women, I would make as many mistakes as possible.
Trent, I was picturing you as a bachelor in my brain Monday night and was just laughing.
I was like, there's no way.
I'm overwhelmed by my day-to-day life as it is.
You're overwhelmed by those three texts you got.
Yeah, I was like, I got a text.
Would you be a contestant on The Bachelor?
No.
No, I think that his subtle appearances.
The best part about this is that you did not have to be a contestant on this show to make
your way into the universe like other people had.
Like Wells, he was on the show.
That's how he became the bartender.
You are just you and you got there being yourself.
Right.
I have the best of both worlds.
I get to be part of this awesome, cool show that I love,
but I don't, am not so involved where people get sick of me
and they're like, oh, this aspect of his personality I don't like,
or he's making these decisions that I don't like.
I just get in, I get out, I take luggage, I get in,
I drink champagne and I get out.
Total screen time I've been on for like nine seconds.
Like, that's great.
That's ideal for a guy like me.
So, no, I do not want to be The Bachelor.
No, I would not be, I wouldn't even be a contestant.
I just want to continue sort of existing on the fringes of the Bachelor universe.
Perfect.
Love it.
Yeah.
Love it.
All right.
So let's get into the actual woman tell all.
Like Fran said, it started off with an episode that, you know, they had to catch us up on what had happened because we didn't know if Maddie would be returning after she gave him the ultimatum.
Madison does show up.
It's Madison, Victoria and Hannah Ann, Victoria F.
She gets sent home.
We saw that coming.
They wanted to boom, boom, boom, and get out of there.
I like when they show, and we talk a little bit about this,
but I liked when they show episodes,
part of an episode during Women Tell All.
It's a little bit of a surprise.
And also, you watched it when you were at the Women's Till All.
I did.
I've known what was going to happen since that Friday when they shot it.
Right.
But I don't even like, I know, but I still, it's so strange.
I still feel like I can formulate opinions despite knowing the knowledge of it.
I don't know.
It's just not that serious to me where it's like, oh, I know.
so I can't think in a way where I don't know.
None of that.
What I just said made sense?
No, it does.
And I also feel like it was kind of expected what was going to happen at this point on.
I think we were just like getting the five that Victoria F was going home.
I think that's right.
I think we knew the final two was going to be Hannah Ann and Madison.
Whether Madison was going to stay was the big question.
But she ends up staying.
And now that's where we left off.
Like we're just now at this point where we have this big teaser of what's,
is going to happen with.
Yeah.
How do you guys feel about Madison now that we,
she gave the ultimatum a couple weeks ago,
was like if you do,
if you are intimate with these other girls,
I'm going to react in such a way
that I don't know if I'll be able to move on.
Now that we've gotten to the point
where Madison does show up to the rose ceremony,
Pete offers to the rose,
she accepts it.
I know,
I want to talk about the actual rose ceremony
because the process of it was unbelievable.
I mean, Madison shows up
and he gives Rose to Ann Ann.
gives rose to Madison, but it was like, he might as well have been on his hands and knees,
like giving this rose to Madison.
Because he, she says like, yeah, I'll take it.
And just he's like, you sure?
Like, it's like he is so just depleted.
Like I saw so many screenshots of back to back pictures of like Pete Knight 1 and Pete
from this rose ceremony.
Aging like a president.
looks so like he just looks like shit like there he just looks like he hasn't slept he has in like
the scar is at the worst stage that that scar is going to be like it's like the mid it's right after
the bandage comes off and it's huge and red and like it healed wonderfully he looks great now but like
that was the worst time to be filming a rose ceremony had to be itching like crazy the scar his
his whole face just looked he just looked like a sad puppy he just like droopy he just like
defeated. Honestly, just straight up defeated, which is not shocking watching this season.
Like we always say this, people keep shitting on Peter throughout this entire season.
I think it's a little bit of both. I think it's the girls he got. I think it's the decisions
he's making. I think that this whole thing has been just a cluster fuck of mistakes throughout the
entire season. Like I, at this point, can we really blame Peter? Can we really blame these girls?
It was a disaster from the beginning.
It was a disaster.
And I think the ending will also be a disaster.
We don't know what's going to happen, but I'm sure that it's going to be a disaster.
And Trent, you were asking like, how do we feel about Madison kind of staying strong?
Right.
Saying that, but then also not really because she's accepted the rose.
Right, because last week it's sort of when the ultimate it was given and then Pete betrays it, two camps emerged.
One was like, I'm with Pete, I understand that.
And then the other one was with Madison.
Like, rah, rah, I'm with Madison.
She stuck to her moral.
She's got these principles.
She's going to stick with them.
But then you come back this week and she just sort of is like, no, I'm just going to
stick around anyway.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Where do the people that were on team Madison fall now that Madison just went to Team Peter?
Exactly.
You know, like she just joined everybody else.
We were all on the same page as team both of them.
Like they both have their separate opinions on sex and what matters to them.
So how I feel about Madison now is that I feel like I can't really make
I still like Madison I think I think it's she's in a really tough position even the way that she was saying yeah it was it's like when you fight with her boyfriend he's like you know afterwards is everything okay you're like yeah like it's she's being timid about it because she's not sure yeah she wasn't sure if she wanted to accept that rose but she believes in the love that her and Peter have and I feel like I can't really make a final decision on how I feel about that until
I see the last episode because I have a feeling that she isn't going to leave.
Like I don't think that this is Peter and Madison are fine and she suddenly is totally
okay with what just happened.
Right.
I think Madison is going to leave.
And then somehow Peter's going to go after her and that's going to be the whole Peter
doesn't even know how this season ends.
It's because Madison needs to tell him on the after the final rose or whatever it is.
I feel bad for Hannah-Anne-Anne.
I will say.
Han-Anne is just, she's just along for the ride on Madison and Peter's relationship.
It's just, she almost looks like she's happy for Madison and Pete as she's holding the rose.
In the row ceremony.
Boy, they really have quite a connection.
I don't have that with Pete.
She started crying more and during that row ceremony and I was just like, what is going
through this girl's brain?
Because it is so clear to all of us.
Like, Peter picking Hannah Ann is just not in the realm of possibilities in my mind.
No, that's not happening.
There's just absolutely a zero percent chance that he picks Hannah Ann.
Anna-a-a-a-ant, and she is just kind of rode this thing all the way to the end.
And it's one of those weird situations because, like, any normal finale are, like, torn between which one that they're going to pick.
And Peter says all these things about Hannah-Anne, and it's, they're similar to what he says about Madison.
But it's just, like, he says it about Hannah-Anne.
He's like, he's in love with her and all this.
And I'm like, nah.
You're not, though.
You're not.
You're not.
Yeah.
I don't think that they're in love.
I think that Hanna Ann was just like the second best out of everybody.
And that's why she made it to the end.
She hasn't done enough to like to lose.
Right.
And she hasn't done enough to necessarily win.
And it's not that Peter doesn't like her.
Like Peter does like her a lot.
I'm sure it's just not as much as Madison.
Yeah.
And maybe the fact that Madison and Peter do have ups and downs kind of makes their connection feel
more real because when two people are just like, oh, we love each other.
Everything's great.
Right.
It kind of seems fake because that's not like.
it should be that way,
but I feel like that's just not real life.
It's not a reality.
And that was sort of his appeal with Victoria F was there were so many ups and downs that he was kind of like.
That was just too many.
That was too many.
But it like kept him interested.
I think that's what kept her around for so long.
But imagine if.
So the Rose ceremony.
You got Victoria F.
Hannah Ann and Madison shows up eventually gives it to Hannah Ann, the Rose.
She accepts it.
What if he offers it to Madison and she says no?
Then obviously Victoria is like, well, you weren't going to pick.
me so I'm out of here. Madison's like, I'm out of here and Hannah-Anne is just like, I guess I won.
I guess we're getting married now. I feel like Peter is going to fuck this up because I think that
Madison's going to leave and then it's going to be Hannah-Anne and he's going to be like, all right,
I guess I'm going to propose to Anna-Anne and everyone's going to be like, what the fuck are you doing?
Watching, that's our reaction. Yeah, right. Are you doing? And then all of a sudden before he
proposes to Han or whatever, he's going to be realized, oh, no, I need Madison. It's going to be kind of like an RRI situation, except not as far as Rari went to like, right. He's not really give Becca the ring and then switch over and go to her house and be like, I'm switching. I think it's going to be a much quicker thing where he's like maybe about to and Madison just left and he's thinking about proposing to Hannah Ann doesn't actually do it. And then he decides, oh no, I need to go after Madison. And then we're left with the question, does Madison accept him? But how?
Does he, so what they,
Chris Harrison said,
Pete doesn't even know.
Yeah.
How?
Because I,
how is that possible?
Maybe Madison is sitting on it.
Because Matt,
I feel like Peter has gone to Madison.
Madison was like,
didn't give him a concrete answer or whatever.
They haven't been able to talk.
And when the live show happens,
it'll be the first time that they're seeing each other since that moment.
So we're saying they leave it open ended at the end of the end of filming.
And this whole time between it airing and then up until the finale next week,
they're just sort of like, I wonder if they're going to get together.
Because at that point, it's just like, no.
It makes sense to me, but it also doesn't make sense to me.
I'm like, why would they just wait months?
I'm not talking.
Yeah, I feel like their feelings would just go away for each other.
And they'd be like, all right, at this point, why are we going to be with each other?
We could just go be with other people.
Like, we've waited months now.
We don't like each other that much.
Right.
At this point, especially because we haven't seen each other.
Yeah.
Right.
Unless they just have to fake it.
Like, they just have to, Madison just has to be like.
Like, yeah, you know, I made this decision and I'm out.
I'm just so good.
What did we get with Colton and Cassie?
Did we get that kind of situation or did they film something that told us they were together and then we saw them?
Or was it Cassie told Colton at the final rose?
I don't think it was live.
I think we knew they were together.
I remember they like they went back and they were like we had to film this after.
Yeah, someone was on like it looked like it was on like cell phone.
Yeah. But the fact that Peter.
there was like that weird of those apartment videos of them like dating like yeah i would say
that's the case where they're going to film something but chris harrison saying peter doesn't know
means they didn't film anything because peter doesn't know right or they filmed him going after
madison and madison was like go fuck yourself i'll see you in three months saying pete doesn't know
has confused me more than anything has ever confused me if there's one person on this earth who
would know it's peter yep and he doesn't know apparently it's crazy i don't think he knows i i i think
that's actually the honest truth. I don't think that Peter knows because I think it's what we're
saying. Madison's like they're doing this whole thing where Madison will tell him live and then
he'll get his heart crushed live even though it's been months and he's probably over. He's probably
like I know. Yeah, I know like I'm actually dating Kylie Jenner. Yeah. Or Kelly. Yeah. So the Kelly theory
is interesting. We haven't even really talked about the woman tell all. We keep bouncing around
other things. But I think it's because the woman tell all, if we really want to be honest, was boring.
and there wasn't much.
We didn't learn anything new.
We saw people fighting.
We saw people making up.
And that was really that.
The Kelly theory has been going around on TikTok and YouTube because people found out that Peter's family members, his dad, his mom, somebody else.
His brother.
His brother all follow Kelly.
They don't follow any other contestant.
They only follow Kelly.
Kelly wasn't at the woman tell all.
They said it was because, you know, she doesn't get manipulated by producers.
They thought that she wasn't going to go along with it.
She said she wasn't invited.
Yeah, she said she wasn't invited.
So I asked her again.
That seems impossible.
I literally, I knew that's what she said to other people.
And I was like, I'll take my shot and message her and was like, why aren't you on?
And she was like, I wasn't invited.
Like same exact message with the shrug at the end and everything.
So that's what's, that's throwing me off.
The shrug at the end with the I wasn't invited, shrug face.
Like, oh, but why does Peter's mom, dad, and brother, I'll follow you and they don't follow anybody else.
Tell me that.
And look at the girls who were there.
There were a few there who Kelly, I'd say majority of them,
she was far more integral to the season than a lot of the girls that were there.
There's no way that she was.
Well, Natasha wasn't there because she said she couldn't be there.
But like, you know, they always pick a random group for the women to all, I feel like.
Because they give nobody's a chance.
Yeah.
They give nobody's a chance to have their moment.
It's like a test.
Chris Harrison was asked about it.
And he said that Kelly wasn't an important storyline to this season, which I think is false.
I think Chris Harrison knows that's false.
So that seemed like a throwaway comment.
That seemed like something to get us off dissent.
I don't know.
I don't think I can believe that Kelly just all of a sudden comes back at the end of this.
And I don't either.
She's back in the picture.
What a moment that would be.
I think it's just a very bizarre situation.
Like I don't know why his family all follows her and nobody else, but I really do not see.
Kelly being like
coming out and being like it's me
like I said what a moment. I think that they're getting
smarter and we did see
Peter out with
the producer and his mom in a public
place after the rumors were swirling. I feel like
that they kind of planted that
maybe they had told Peter's family
follow Kelly because the people are thinking
this theory. Maybe it does go that deep where they're like
hey follow Kelly throw people off the scent because
they want they clearly want to keep this ending
so private.
They're just muddy in the waters.
They're throwing people all over the place.
Robert Mills is retweeting theories.
They love the theories.
When did they do that?
But because he did retweet the Kelly theory
makes me believe it's 100% not true.
Or that's what he wants you to think.
Mind games.
I will say, and I want to know,
I want to know the ending.
It's crazy that we don't know the ending.
That nobody knows the ending, I should say.
But I do kind of love this.
Like this, what we're living in right now is kind of nice.
It's just chaotic.
We don't know.
We get to talk about all these different theories, whether they're crazy if they're not.
Because now the producer.
I'm talking to random people, like, not random people.
I'm going up to people on the street being like, what are you?
It's one of those things that I feel like everybody has kind of paid attention to the season because it's been so insane that like I was at an event Tuesday night and was just like having conversations with people.
And they were like, so what do you think about Pete?
Like, what do you think Pete's going to decide?
Like I had that conversation four times.
So how do you think the Bachelor
is going to end?
It is, it gets everybody talking
and nobody knows.
In the eyes of the show,
business is booming.
Right.
Because everybody's talking about
what's going to happen.
Nobody knows.
Reality Steve doesn't know.
Yep.
And now we're living in a world
where the producer theory
that was the only theory
that was kind of going around.
Now we've got the Kelly theory.
I want as many theories as we can get.
The problem with all the theories
is that I'm going to be really let down
when it's exactly what we said.
It's just the fact that Madison left
and we're trying to.
figure out if Peter and Madison are together.
Like, I would love for a third party to be involved.
I would love it.
But we're not going to get that.
We're going to be let down by all these crazy theories.
I'm honestly expecting the most dramatic shit to happen at this point.
I'm afraid it's going to be overhyped.
Yeah, I think that I'm going to have a very reaction because I feel like I know where
this is going.
Prove me wrong, Bachelor producers.
Maybe change up the ending right now since you know what we're expecting.
Pay Hannah Brown that extra money she's been looking for and have her come back.
What if she comes back?
No, no.
I don't think so.
No.
I think that ship is sailed.
But it's, yeah, we're going to have to wait and see.
But the woman till all was catty as always, you know, kind of started with the girls all fighting with each other over the Kelsey stuff.
Champagne gate, the pill popping, that alcoholism accusations.
And they're all yelling at each other.
And it's tough because Tammy, I feel.
like is a very strong personality.
And she addressed this on her Instagram.
She said, look, I'm, I'm tough.
Like, this is just how I deal with my emotions.
Like, Kelsey and Tammy are just on the opposite ends of the spectrum of how they
handle their emotions.
Like, Tammy wrote this whole long thing on Instagram about her past has kind of hardened
her a little bit.
So, yeah, when she argues, she gets defensive.
And then it turns into this whole thing.
She doesn't back down.
and it escalates to that point.
Now, McKenna is also like sweet and innocent.
It's in, and it's just that's why her fighting with Tammy,
I feel like makes Tammy look so bad.
Yeah.
Because McKenna doesn't really fight fire with fire.
Like, Tammy will sling the insults back at you when things get heated.
But McKenna is like, well, how about you come to camp?
Canada and see how people treat each other nicely.
And that just doesn't work.
McKenna tried to do another one of those speeches that once again did not hit.
I was like, oh, here we go again.
She was like, I just want everyone to be.
I was like, okay, you're not articulating this the right way.
I think what Fran is saying is right.
Like, Tammy, I think, first of all, I just don't really like Tammy.
I kind of just, I understand the, um,
Like I do understand the strong personality thing versus not having a strong personality.
I don't think you could blame Tammy.
Like if you have a strong personality, use it.
Fight for yourself.
But I think up against McKenna, like Fran said, you have this girl who can't put up a fight at all.
She can't.
If McKenna was yelling back at her, I think it would be a little different in how people see things.
Even myself, I'm being honest.
I'm watching this and I like McKenna better than Tammy.
Right.
You feel bad for McKenna.
Because you feel bad for McKenna.
But I do think that it just is because of the dynamic between the two of them.
Like it doesn't necessarily make Tammy a bad person.
I think that it's just...
My friend went to high school with Tammy and Syracuse and said she's a crazy person.
Oh.
Oh.
There you go.
And that was like a...
Well, there was also a moment where like, we'll talk about it.
But like when Ashley I came out with Kelsey to talk with Kelsey and they, like, they, like,
They showed Tammy kind of like rolling her eyes.
And everybody freaked out about like this bitch moment and everything.
But Ashley I like does her Cosmo recap every week.
And she said that she thought that was like done in production, like that they put that in there to make it look like Tammy rolled her eyes.
But that it didn't really happen.
And that Ashley and Tammy spoke after the show and that Tammy was really sweet and they got along really well.
So I, you know, who knows?
Clearly they're, these girls are are not.
going to get along. I really didn't. Like there were some things that Tammy said that I was like,
okay, what's the point of this? Like at one point she said, um, that she was like,
we're all, we're all like swapping spit or sharing saliva with the same guy. Like what?
We need to know. Like what's like, and I'm like, Tammy, you're accusing Kelsey of popping pills,
drinking too much, whatever. You're not going to catch that for making out the same guy.
That's not how that works. Like that's just.
I just felt like I said, it becomes kind of uncalled for.
You're like, okay, that was just like kind of being.
And like, what are you insinuating?
Right.
Like, are you insinuating that Kelsey has like STDs because she is popping pills and drinking?
Yeah, it seems like Tammy doesn't have a real grip on like what people are doing on their day to day life.
Like Tammy heard the word Adderall and oh my God, it was the other world.
Yeah, yeah.
And I what I also thought was funny about all of this.
They addressed the Alea stuff also
And Alea was like, look, that's how I am.
I'm a princess.
I have a princess voice.
Like I am dramatic like that.
Which people really, like if that's just the kind of person you are, it can be a turnoff to others.
Like I get it.
Like that's fine.
She is owning that.
I appreciate her being honest about that.
Right.
Sydney very much doesn't like sometimes you just don't vibe with people like that.
That's clearly what happened.
But also with, because then it turned into the.
Alea Victoria P and
Victoria P
I think has gotten
through this show
somehow like
pretty freely
like I know people are like oh she lied about
Alea and I know people have
kind of shit on her
for that but like in the
women tell all Savannah's like well
Victoria why are you talking
shit about Alea and then
the next second holding her hand at the rose ceremony
and Victoria P's
like, I'm just weird like that.
And everyone's like, okay.
I hated that.
There's no, there's no follow-up.
Weird.
Like, there's no follow-up to Victoria P.
like doing sketchy stuff.
Like, she's just like, oh, I'm weird.
And everyone's like, oh, okay.
Like, with the pill-popping thing, like, everyone's like, yeah, that came from
Victoria P.
Somehow, Victoria P just stayed out of all of that drama and fighting, even though apparently
she was the one who started the rumor in the first place.
Just a master class and deflection.
I don't know.
I'm so weird.
Oh, I'm so quirky and weird.
I'm so quirky and weird.
I could not believe that that's what came out of her mouth.
Oh, you're weird.
I did love the dermatologist.
That's your,
that's your defense for all of this.
I'm weird?
That's like speaking in Instagram captions.
Yeah.
How I'm weird.
I'm just like put on like a pair of glasses.
Like I'm so nerdy.
That's how Victoria P just deflected all the drama away from herself.
I'm just weird like that.
It's so,
I thought it was so funny.
I just are using that every day.
If I do something, my parents call me, they're like,
why haven't you called us?
I'm just weird like that.
Like somebody is a cute.
She's saying you were being so totally two-faced.
And you're just like, yeah, sorry, I'm just weird like that.
And it weirdly worked.
And there was no, that was it.
That was the end of it.
And there was really no follow-up to that.
Victoria P is kind of just stayed at the same level.
Like nobody's, you don't see anybody like having extreme feelings towards
Victoria P.
Everyone's like, oh, there's Victoria P.
Yep, she's just weird.
She's just weird like that.
I just thought that was crazy.
Take notes.
If you're ever on The Bachelor or The Bachelor or
the Bachelorette and you get to go to the men tell all or women tell all.
Right.
You're in the middle of drama.
Right.
And they start pressing you on it.
Just say like, I'm weird.
Right.
You got a couple girls to like own up to drama.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
Just mind your own business.
Victoria F got on the hot seat.
She had what felt like a very, you know, nice planned speech rehearsed, ready to go.
And she, I will say, I think she did a great job.
she hit, I feel like, all of her points.
And she, the one thing that I do feel like felt truthful was, oh, I watched the show back and
realize that, you know, I'm kind of cuckoo and like didn't handle things the best way.
But she, you know, Chris Harrison flat out said, like, have you slept with these people's husbands?
And she said no.
She just said no.
Yeah, I don't believe that.
Yeah.
I don't think she was going to get up there on stage and say yes, that she did.
I think that she would have came across as obviously hearing these things.
Like you don't.
How crazy.
Yeah, you don't think that she's a good person from hearing these things about her.
But I think it would have made her seem like a better person if she got up on stage and said,
yes, I did do these things.
I apologize.
Like, it's just I made, you know, obviously they're big mistakes.
They're not just like, oh, I made a mistake.
And it wasn't.
It's, it obviously comes from a place.
of being insecure and other problems.
Like, I don't think that you just fuck people's husbands for fun.
Like, I think there's something,
there's some underlying, underlying issues there.
So I think if she went up there and said yes,
I think people probably would have respected her more
rather than her get up there and say, no, I didn't,
because nobody believes that.
Yeah, and it's tough.
Too many accusations.
Too many.
If it were one and she was like, yeah, I did it.
You know, I was a mistake that I made and I wish I hadn't done it.
It's tough to get up there and admit like,
yeah, there's three, four,
I don't know how many it is.
But I don't know.
I would have respected it because that's one hell of a move if she's like, yeah,
I did all these things.
I don't know how the public would have reacted to something like that.
But at least it would have.
They did they move past it very quickly?
Like Chris Harrison's like, did you do these things that you've been accused of?
She was like, no, absolutely not.
And then it's like, all right, let's talk about other Victoria F stuff.
You had the funny comment or maybe somebody tweeted it, whatever, if they brought out, like,
the friends or the husbands.
If it was like a Jerry Springer moment and Chris Harrison was like,
All right, well, if you say no, we have all the women backstage that are ready to come out.
But it would have been...
I'd have been whooping it up in the crowd.
It would have been absolutely insane.
But it's just, it's also one of those things where, you know, you want to...
I want to believe her.
Like, I really do.
But it's so hard because there are multiple.
Like I said, like if it's just one and it's one accusation, it's way easier to think, okay, you know, maybe something.
happened maybe who knows what the husband's role was in this and you know he's the one married and
this all but because it was multiple it's like okay it's multiple it's way harder to kind of
like doubt that that it's that it isn't true and um marissa the girl from virginia beach that was
you know face blurred on the hometown and everything she said on instagram because people were
asking her about it uh if this was all you know real stuff and she had repubes
to somebody said, unfortunately it is true. Some people cannot face the truth. She knows what she's done.
It takes a strong person to omit those flaws. And then she was asked if she has receipts. And she said,
multiple. Many of those whose life she's ruined. They have been through hell and back and simply do
not want to relive a dark time in their lives just for a reality TV show. This is simply why I did,
but I did. To speak for those whose lives and relationships have been ruined. Everyone is entitled to
their own opinion. But the truth with, but the truth will always be the truth. And there's no way
around that. I'm like, number one, get off your high horse a little bit.
Super dramatic. Super dramatic. But she's sticking by this like that it's 100% true. She knows
the people who. Somebody's lying. She knows the people whose marriages have been ruined.
I'm just sick of this girl who I think she's that close to Peter. You know what I mean?
This girl makes it seem like her and Peter are the best of friends. They haven't seen each other.
They dated for a couple of months. I do.
She just knows the people, like the girls that...
Well, that's what I was about to say.
I do understand her knowing the people and wanting to share that story.
But when she's like, you know, I'm just like looking out for a friend, okay, just get past that.
Just say you know some shit.
You just like having the gossip.
You know some shit and you want to tell us.
Yeah.
That's fine.
And the problem for Victoria F, why this is such a tough hill to climb for her is that she has the reputation of being a manipulator.
So anytime, and she did do really well at the women's tall.
You're watching her.
You're like, you're finally seeing her speak like fully.
You got me for a second.
Like I was like, this is great.
She's doing a great job.
But that's what I'm saying where it's like, oh, then it clicks with you.
Like maybe I'm just falling into this trap where that's why it's hard to get on Victoria F side.
She is.
They're mesmerizing.
They are.
She was like talking to Chris Harrison and she was just talking when she was speaking on just how she didn't really understand the love that Peter had for her.
And if she had understood that during the show, maybe things would have ended differently.
and I really caught myself being like, damn, like, that's sad.
And then I saw a couple tweets of like, oh, here goes Victoria F, pulling the whole
woes me thing again.
And I was like snapped out of it.
Like, oh, yeah, right.
That's like, come on.
Yeah, right.
That's why even if it's tough for her that even if she is being genuine about some of these
things, there's just this reputation that she has where people are going to be like,
well, is she actually telling the truth or not.
Yep, definitely.
Kelsey had her moment on the hot seat.
Also, I thought Kelsey did a great job.
There's not really too much to say.
about it besides the fact that she just owned being emotional and crying and like that's just
how she is and that yeah she made some mistakes on the show and that's it that's like she's fine with
that yeah and those things that you do early on like if they notice maybe you are crying a little bit
more if you're more emotional they're going to take those things and they clearly took it and
turned into a champagne gate right and they're like all right we'll just keep doing this we'll keep ramping up
the emotional side of Kelsey and then she sort of uh became more normal as the
season went on. People really started to like her. I think we all started to like her a lot more.
She made it really, really far onto the show. But yeah, I thought her appearance on women's
at law was great. They brought out Ashley I, which was pretty funny. And it's just you're emotional.
If you're even a little bit more emotional than say the other people on the show, they're going
to look at that and be like, all right, let's play that part up. Totally. They needed a new Ashley I.
Yeah, I don't really have much to say about Kelsey because I just feel like it is what it is.
Like I didn't really think that Peter and Kelsey were going to make it.
You know what I mean?
I think that Kelsey's a good person.
She was emotional.
I didn't really mind her being emotional.
I feel like it made sense.
Yeah.
Because of the show she's on.
I feel like there's like...
And I said it before.
They are totally secluded from the outside world.
They have nothing going for them besides Peter and the girls in the house.
They don't have TV.
They don't have music.
They don't have music?
They don't have music?
No, you're not allowed to listen to anything.
Nothing.
You can't listen to music?
Yeah.
Wow.
So they don't have anything.
So I don't know that.
I would also go crazy and be emotional.
And then mix wine into it.
Yeah.
Your emotions are heightened.
So I really don't have much to add to.
I think everybody kind of handled the woman to all in a good way.
I didn't think that there was much.
There was obviously the drama we talked about.
There was the bullying segment, which Rachel Lindsay,
they brought her on to talk about obviously the crazy DMs that people receive on this show.
And I think it's important to talk about that.
We talk about the show.
We talk about it in jest.
We make jokes and all that stuff.
If you are actually contacting these people, you're a fucking psychopath.
You are out of your mind crazy.
You feel the need to contact these people you don't know to let them know, like, you should die.
What is wrong with you?
What is wrong with you?
And if you're listening to this show right now and that's something you do,
Stop it.
Don't do that.
You have no right to be doing that.
Tammy posted on her Instagram some screenshots of shit that she was sent.
And it's probably gone now.
But yeah, it was.
She had somebody email her about a house, wanting to see a house.
And then they said, psych.
I hate you.
If you are taking that much time and that much effort, what is happening?
Do something with your life.
Don't you have a life?
Clearly no.
Well, it's also crazy because she's posted a few that.
And I think, you know, you see the ones that are like, there's no profile picture, you know, zero followers following a billion people.
And you're like, okay, this is, this feels like faceless almost because you're, it's just like such a weird thing.
You're like, but she posted some of like grown ass women that I like actually looked at their Instagrams.
And they sent some of the meanest things to her, like multiple messages.
and one woman had like
what looked like a very normal account
it was like mother of two
lover of like you know the classic bio
probably John 316
and I was just like
Psalms 412
what is this
I know I'm like what is this woman
grown ass woman doing messaging Tammy
that she is like pointless and disgusting
and why would Peter ever like her
it was so dumb that she was on the show
clearly they didn't have any connection
She's the ugliest girl in the show.
Like, it's just, it's crazy to me that, like, people feel the need to do that.
Yeah.
And like Rea said, when we're tweeting about it, and we obviously are not tweeting anywhere near what that is.
But if we're, like, critique it or bust and balls, it's all ingest.
Like, we don't, none of that is.
They understand that too.
I think so, too.
Like, it's one.
And then you start to, you really see the difference when you see the DMs that they get.
Right.
When it is, like, it's kill yourself.
You're the ugliest person in the world.
It's like, all right, that's a completely different.
different thing. And if you're doing that, you are just a crazy person. It's, it's so ridiculous. And I was,
I mean, I was obviously in the crowd. What was that like for you? It was very heavy. It was because it was all it's,
there's drama on the show, but that's part of it. And then, you know, people in the hot seat, Pete comes out.
But then it's, it takes this change in tone where Rachel Lindsay comes out. They bring out chairs for
Chris Harrison and Rachel to sit in. And you don't know what's happening. Because this is the first time
they've ever done something like this where they've addressed people and been like, stop doing this.
So none of us saw it coming.
And then as it started, it was just like, this is some deep, heavy emotional stuff.
But I am glad that they got it and then they did it and they addressed it because clearly something needs to change.
It's unbelievable.
Unfortunately, I think that like it's good that they brought it up because you need to mention that.
But unfortunately, I don't think you could stop the craziest of the crazy on the internet.
As much as you try, I think it's also like it's just, there's nothing we could do at this point.
You know, people on the internet, they're going to act crazy, they're going to act crazy.
Hopefully some people got the message and they realized they were wrong.
But it's going to be a hard and long fight to get everybody to stop doing that.
Yeah.
It's impossible.
Unfortunately.
Yeah.
It's just impossible.
Yeah.
But I think them talking about it is at least a step in the right direction.
And it's less about, obviously you would like people to just stop doing it and that's why you bring awareness to it.
But it's also good for people to know who maybe are potentially going to do something like this.
Or even people like us or casual fans who like, oh man, these girls get treated like shit sometimes.
Like maybe go a little easier on the next time you think you're going to tweet something that might be a little meaner than it should be.
Right, right.
Yeah.
Well, actually, Blake tweeted something.
He wrote, love the message from Rachel last night.
Unfortunately, messages like that are too common.
Frustrating seeing people from BIP and producers act like they didn't bully me for an entire season, told things like I was a turd that won't flush, ugly, etc.
And then Demi replied and she like apologized.
She said, I know I've said it several times and you've forgiven me, but I'll say it again.
I'm extremely sorry for how I talked about you on Bachelor in Paradise.
I thought things were funny when they weren't.
I took it too far.
I deeply regret the things I said and I hate that I hurt you.
He said, we talked about this.
So there were other contestants coming out being like, okay, that's great.
Love this message.
But also like we all bully each other on this show.
Yeah.
Which I think it's just like a little different.
You know, obviously they shouldn't be like straight up.
bullying each other on the show.
No.
But there would be no show with no drama.
A turd that won't flush.
Like,
that's not,
if we're looking at it in terms of the,
compared to what TAMN
that they were getting.
Compared to,
like,
the stuff that Sydney was getting
about the parents
and her race and her background.
Like,
you can't compare a turd
that won't flush
to the insane messages
Sydney was getting.
Yeah.
A turd that won't flush.
It just doesn't.
You chuckle a little bit.
When you said it,
I was like,
that's a pretty,
that's a decent burn.
Yeah,
that's just,
that's a burn.
Like,
that's something we would
tweet.
Yes.
And I think there's a difference.
I think that you can tweet things ingest and make jokes and whatnot.
But when you're straight up like kill yourself, bitch, that's a problem.
That's a very bad.
Big problem.
All right.
Well, I don't know what, you know, like we said, it was overall, it was entertaining, but also kind of boring.
There were some fun stuff.
Yeah.
I think we all are just want to get to the finale so bad that like that was just a distraction.
Yeah.
And they brought like they brought Pete out and nothing really happened.
They brought Pete out and it was.
was just butterflies.
Like nobody had any,
anything like to give him shit for.
I was hoping like one of the girls
would call him out on something and they were just like
We've all grown from this experience.
He was on for like five minutes and he took no heat.
They're going out with signs that say screw Pete the Bachelor
but when he comes and sits right in front of their face
they're like, oh Pete, you know, everything's fine.
Maybe at this point they don't even,
they are happy they're not with him and they're just like,
yeah, it's fine.
We're not going to get mad because,
like whatever.
That might be it.
Or maybe they're just so over it that they also don't have any animosity towards him
because they just want to be done with him.
It was.
They didn't, nobody grilled him at all.
He just sat up there and was like, yeah, it's really hard to date 30 women, which I bet it that it is.
But none of them were like, why did you do this?
Well, I guess maybe Savannah asked him something.
But yeah, it was very much a love fest for Pete.
So that didn't make for that all that interesting of a show.
It's interesting that you just said Savannah because no, it comes.
tweeting who. Anytime Savannah
talked, Noah really went in on her.
I think I sent one tweet.
I saw two or three.
Which I thought was funny. Are you saying that I'm a bully?
No, I'm not saying you're a bully.
It was a joke.
Yeah. Noah, I think that it's funny.
That's what I was saying. I think it's funny. Trent said Savannah.
I think it's funny you did those tweets.
I wasn't saying anything else.
I remember after that whole thing.
Oh, no, no. I mean, I was just saying that they were funny.
You need to reflect and maybe not bully people online.
I remember her from the taping.
She talked a lot, Savannah.
She very much butted in a lot of conversations.
I don't know how much of it they aired.
I don't really remember.
But, yeah, I remember her specifically from the taping.
Yeah.
Well, guys, I think that wraps it up.
And now we just have to wait for whatever happens next week.
Two night finale.
Two nights.
I really wish it was just one.
I'm okay with it.
No, I want one night.
Well, how am I supposed to sleep one day night?
Yeah, exactly.
What do you mean?
I'm going to go to bed without knowing what's going to happen.
Yeah, true.
I would prefer to find out.
I wonder how they'll do it.
It'll be a cliffhanger.
Yeah, you're right.
They're not going to give us the information on Monday.
Nope.
Damn, I wonder how it's going to end.
I'm so curious.
I'm really curious too, but I have to stop being so curious because I don't want to end up
only a few more days.
Yeah, there's only a few more days.
And I think we can all push through.
Everybody push through.
the end is near.
It's kind of sad, though.
Trent, we're only going to get one more podcast after you talking about The Bachelor.
We're going to take a little break and then Bachelorette picks up.
Let me tell you, there's a lot of, we could recap, listen to your heart that starts

I mean, I'm going to be watching that for sure.
So something to think about.
True.
All right.
We'll talk about that.
Okay.

We are here with two very special guests, Lauren and Cameron, from Love is
Blind, the huge phenomenon on Netflix.
We've watched it.
Everybody's been watching it.
Welcome to the show.
Thank you for having us.
Excited to be here.
We are so excited to have you guys.
I watched the finale last week and I immediately went to our booker.
And I was like, all right, we need somebody from the show.
And then they came back and they're like, Lauren and Cameron was like, yes.
The perfect people.
These are the people we want.
I have to be honest.
she was like you need to watch the show
Love is Blind everybody's talking about it
I'm like okay I'll watch it I started watching it I was like
this shit is absurd
I don't know if I can get behind this
I mean we watch every reality show
we watch The Bachelor every ridiculous show
you name it we watch it
and I was stunned
I was like I don't know if I can
support these people like what is going on
until I saw you guys
and honestly
that is the only hope
No, it was the only hope I saw on the show.
I said it to her too.
I was like, I'm watching the show.
I don't see any hope in these people besides Lauren and Cameron.
And you guys proved me right because here you are.
Here we are.
It's crazy.
We don't even know where to begin because there's obviously so many questions.
You guys are married now.
We are.
Still married.
Still married.
And this was filmed in 2018.
That's right.
We're married a year and a half now.
That is insane.
So you guys have.
You guys have.
had to kind of keep it a secret sort of like we had a double life to some of our friends like
yeah yeah is that almost kind of i feel like that's almost kind of a blessing because with a lot of
the reality shows and where the couples are together um and it's live or it's whatever the their fame
as huge so when they go back to the real world it's so hard for them to adjust and things blow up
like you guys had a long time to just go back to your real life before the show was on
And very much needed because with as crazy as everything is now, thank God we have that solid foundation of our relationship.
Right.
You know.
I love that.
I almost thought that was better.
I was like it's been so long, but I feel like that helps.
It gets time to like grow into each other and get stronger as opposed to just being like, okay, we ended the show.
Here's a whole bunch of everybody saying about us.
Right.
Right.
Right.
Yeah.
So how did you guys keep it a secret from certain people?
Like did anybody know?
Of course, your family members knew.
How did they keep it a secret?
Because it was hard.
It was fine.
Parents, like, try to give hints to their friends.
Like, my daughter had something special happening.
Like, mom, don't.
But, you know, of course, we told our core family and close friends,
so they knew about it.
But other than that, like, we told them, like,
look, please, we had to sign contracts, let's not that set up.
So it was tough.
But it's, like, when you have such a big life change,
of course, you want to share it with everybody.
So that was, like, really challenging.
It's a long time.
I also think because the show kind of came out of nowhere on Netflix where that's why I think it's probably easier to hide.
Whereas, you know, The Bachelor or Love Island, we know these shows exist.
So we want to know the answer.
Love is Blind came out and we were like, what is this?
We have to know what happens.
Okay, so let's start from the beginning.
Pod.
Pod time.
Pod time.
Did you guys know everything that was going to happen on this show before you got there?
like you were going to be in pods, then you would be moving up.
Right.
Or was this kind of all, you signed up for something.
Like, how does you explain this to your friends before going on?
Like, did you say, like, I'm going on a show where I could be engaged and married in a month?
Yeah, right.
That's exactly what I did.
Yeah.
And we knew, like, the broad strokes of it.
We knew that it was going to be a short amount of time that we wouldn't be seeing each other.
We would be talking through some wall, through some kind of apparatus.
And that if we felt a connection, then we would be.
propose and believe me I was as skeptical as I'm sure anyone would be watching the show and I'm like
this is going to be a fun adventure I'll keep an open mind to it and obviously it turned into way more
than that yeah but here we are that's crazy and so I think I think it was really hard for people
maybe to accept it first because it is a TV show so and it went really fast so yeah you people
I saw like a lot of people talking about it being like these people have talked to each other for
four hours and now they're engaged.
But I saw you guys
talked for like really long
amount of time. Yeah, I mean
the full process before getting engaged
was a couple weeks. Even though
it showed it kind of like quick
like birthday. The pods like made it seem
like it was three. I thought it was a day
but I had figured that. There were so many dates that everyone
didn't see just the time. I mean we spent hours in those
pods hours on these dates like we're talking
16 hour days. You know.
So you're going, you said it was like
three weeks, right? Now this is
three weeks you're in the pod
not seeing each other and talking that much?
It was, I would say, just under about two
weeks, the pod process. Yeah.
Okay, so that is way
more. Way more than I think people thought.
I thought that you guys
had talked for two days.
And we were like, I am too.
No. No, girl.
I mean, I did start feeling things
after a while because these
increments of time were like
they were small, but you have to think
That's all we were doing every day.
We didn't have phone.
We didn't have TV.
Like all we had to think about with each other.
And we were having these long 16-hour days, like, just focusing on this person and what you
want and does this person match.
And so it was kind of like it was a day, but it felt like capsulized like a month.
You know what I mean?
Each day.
So it was amazing.
Do you guys think that you told each other things that you have never told other people
before in this span of time?
Because I feel like when you're talking to somebody that much and there's no other distractions,
what else would you say?
Absolutely. And plus in this process, it's like,
if we're talking about someone getting married,
like you need to know, like, up front,
I'm not hiding anything, this is me,
this is who I am, this is what it is.
It's like you're going to accept it or not.
If not next, who's next in the pods, you know?
I feel like, too,
there is, and you can tell me if I'm wrong,
like a certain kind of confidence
that you can have not actually looking the person in the eye.
Like, I feel like I would share so much more
If I was just in a room alone, I'd be like, I can just say whatever I want.
Right. Exactly. The pressure is off.
It's a good point to bring up. And I don't think really anyone's brought that up yet.
But that's true. There is this element where it is more freeing to not have to worry about that.
Because it's just another, I don't want to say distraction, the physical part, but just something else to concentrate on at the same time.
Well, it's almost like people behind a computer screen.
You say things because your face isn't attached to it.
Right. Exactly.
Kind of the same thing.
So you move from the pot to then you're going to meet each other in person.
Well, he proposed first.
I did.
Right.
Sorry.
Before we saw each other.
I forget you guys got proposed before you even saw each other.
What was your thought process?
Did you know for sure at that point?
Like, yes, I want to propose.
Yes, I want to get married to this woman.
Of course.
Yeah.
I mean, I wouldn't have proposed.
Yeah.
I was uncertain.
The frustrating part was after the proposal, we had to wait 24 hours before we.
We got to see each other during that reveal.
So that was a time of some anxiety.
Totally.
Yeah.
She was like, okay, I'm engaged.
I still don't know what he looks like.
Yeah.
Did you have any hesitation of saying yes?
Actually, no.
At that point, I was locked in.
I was like, let's do this.
I love this man.
I feel like I'm falling in love with him.
I fell in love with him.
And I'm really interested to see if we can make this work or at least, you know,
start planning a wedding.
Now in those four weeks at the time, I was like,
I don't know what's going to happen.
we may get together and physically it just doesn't work.
Yeah.
But I was open to take that next step to try.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I feel like you guys clicked so quickly in the pods.
Like was there,
was there any other people that you had like conversations with that you were like,
that was good.
Yeah.
Yeah.
For sure.
Like.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But they weren't really romantic connections.
Right.
You know, we had friendships.
Like I talked to Diamond a lot in the pods.
Oftentimes what would happen is you talk about the person that they were interested in.
I talked to Jessica about she was into Mark and Barnett at the time.
That makes sense.
You need like help.
You need friends.
Right.
I was going to say that's the thing about emotional connections.
Just like in the regular world, it's like if you're dating someone and it's like the romance isn't there, but this person is so cool.
Like they will make a good friend.
And the same thing kind of happened in the pods.
Like it was still that exchange.
Like I really love your energy.
I don't want to marry you.
But you're super cool, you know?
And it's funny, too, because I remember asking some of the women about Lauren and asking, like, you know, is she attractive or whatever?
And interestingly, none of them gave me any real hints.
They just said, oh, she's very elegant and classy, which in retro-
Well, that's a great thing.
I know, I'm like, elegant and classy.
I should have some, like, tea and crumpet.
Yeah.
Yes.
I didn't even think of that, but you can ask the people what they look like.
Right.
Yeah, but that kind of derails the whole.
It does.
Yeah.
And like, you really can't get that much out of someone describing themselves.
Right.
Yeah.
Right.
They're like, oh, she's got beautiful, big, like, Brian eyes.
Like, okay.
Great.
Yep.
Yeah.
So you mentioned, obviously, there's other people in there.
And you can see the guys and you can see the girls.
Mm-hmm.
Do you think that you created, like, friendships with these people?
Oh, yeah.
Absolutely.
I mean, it's for sure a camaraderie there because that's basically all we had.
That was our sounding board.
So if you had a good day, you go back, you talk to the girls.
If you had a bad day, we all cry together.
Like, it was really, like, living in a sorority house at one point because it was just like,
we're all in this together.
Like, all of us will be the only ones who knows what it's like to have this experience.
Like, who else are we going to talk to this about?
But ourselves, so, yeah, we're bonded for life.
We'll be 80 talking about the pods.
But it's crazy.
Yeah, I mean, I was just talking to Mark on the way over here.
And, you know, talk to Barnett, too, and Damien.
Amber was just texting me.
Yeah, you know, and everyone's got their opinion from the outside weighing in on,
oh, these guys are crazy as hell.
But having those, you know, the pod friends and all this, I mean, it's kind of necessary
because, you know, seeing the pods and then being there is two different things.
Right.
Now, when you guys, when you guys, the whole reveal happens, you see each other,
then on top of that, you guys got to go away and see everybody else.
else, meet everybody else for the first time.
For each of you, like, was there meeting somebody and seeing, like, was there a shocking
moment?
You're like, oh, my God, that's what you look like?
Who was the most shocking person?
Who was the most shocking?
I feel like Gigi.
Oh, she doesn't like to be called Gigi.
Gia Nina.
I wasn't, like, expecting her to look how she does look.
Yeah.
I mean, I didn't really have any opinion either way.
Right, right, right.
I just think sometimes it's very interesting if you're like,
I think for me, maybe like Kenny, because I was like, oh, he's like blonde and my blue eyes.
I was like, that was not what I.
Yeah.
So, yeah.
It was interesting.
Yeah.
It was a very surreal moment.
We came down on the, I guess, kind of like the beach and saw them.
Yeah, I felt set up.
I was like, y'all didn't tell us all these people were going to be here.
We thought we were going to dinner.
Yeah.
Right, right.
It was like, surprise.
Here's everyone.
I know.
Oh, my gosh.
What was the most difficult part of the process?
Because I'm sure this wasn't easy at all.
Oh, absolutely not.
There's a lot of difficult parts.
I think one of the difficult parts was, you know, we knew that we were in love and we knew that we wanted to be together, but it was a tight timeline.
And by the way, I mean, we all knew the process.
We knew the parameters of this whole experiment.
So it wasn't like it was a surprise, but it was still tough.
and, you know, we had to work things through in a very short amount of time.
Yeah, for me, like the difficult part outside of us just becoming a couple was
I had to work on some of my personal issues.
Like, we're talking about being in a relationship.
Like, I had all types of defense mechanisms up.
Like, I had a terrible dating past, like, past relationships that were filled.
So I was really to a point where it's like, I'm scared to be happy because it's not going to work.
So I'm going to sabotage.
So I had to, like, fight myself.
throughout this whole process, anytime I felt myself getting too happy, I'm like,
I don't know about this.
Like, I'm scared.
It was frightening.
Yeah.
So I really had to like break down my old ways and my old ways of thinking and be like,
if you're going to do this, you have to be vulnerable.
And that for me was like tough.
Yeah.
I had to fight myself to be happy.
Right.
I think we see in the show that you guys opened up the most throughout.
Like you said, you, you know, you got past these past dating and defense mechanisms
that you used to have and you guys really work together to create this bond.
Whereas other relationships on the show I think was just hilarious.
I mean, Jessica, Mark, I mean, I'm sure Mark's doing just fine now.
All these girls want him.
Loire Jones was commenting.
Oh, really?
Oh, shoot, Mark.
Okay.
Yeah.
I think he's doing just fine.
But I think that you guys are proof that this crazy experiment kind of work because
obviously there are doubters.
would you recommend other people to go on this show and do this experiment?
I think so, but with the precaution that it's not right for everyone.
And you can't just assume, I mean, I think what happened with us was faded.
I feel that way.
I think when you go into it, you have to be in the right mindset and kind of willing to be vulnerable.
That's a big thing.
Are you really looking for love?
Are you really willing to get married at the end of all this?
Like, that's a big thing.
And we're talking about illegal marriage.
We're not, this isn't just for TV.
Right.
It's real.
That's my question.
Oh, it's legal.
When I was, when I said, it's illegal?
We went to the courthouse, okay?
Signed papers.
Oh, my gosh.
It is real.
Because that was, I was watching all these weddings and I was like, are these ministers
real peace?
It's a real thing.
They did mention love is blind a lot, but.
Right.
That's what I was like, this feels like.
No, it was the real thing.
Yeah.
That's like another reason on the show.
show why I was just kind of like
it's you know I was
scared and I was just like you know
okay wait a minute this is real this is not fake
this is like life changing so I figure that
when Jessica like brought up
did you guys watch the whole show
yeah yeah like multiple times
sometimes people don't
watch like a bit yeah yeah had to
some parts were hard to watch
yeah yeah I mean so like Jessica
and had mentioned like pre-nups
like oh and I was like
All right.
If they're discussing pre-ups, this is a very real deal.
This is a very real thing.
I had another question, and it has to do with the weddings.
Sure.
Did everybody have to make their decision on the altar?
Like, was that, if you can tell me, because I was like, there's got to be some people
who maybe knew before that they weren't going to get married.
Well, everyone had the choice to kind of do what they felt in their heart.
Really?
Yeah, everybody waited until they were on the altar.
Yeah, yeah.
of course. I mean, you know, we can only speak to
our experience, but nobody, I mean,
that was the
consensus of the show. We knew that's what was
to be expected, but I mean, nobody
can force you, like, you have to go to the altar.
Yeah, yeah. Got it. Okay. I am. Routeless.
But I love it at the same time.
I don't, like she said, I didn't know
if that was a thing where you had to get up on the altar
and then say, I do or I don't,
but I love that. The whole dress and everything, which makes it like,
you have to plan your wedding and then if you decide
No, you have to do it like in your wedding dress.
I mean, I started
to get teary-eyed when all of you guys
were trying on wedding dresses.
Oh, yeah.
And I remember like coming to work.
Oh, I did not get.
And everyone was like, friend, you're
crying? I know.
Yeah, I was like, it's emotional.
It's emotional.
This is real. Yeah.
Did you guys
think that, was there any couple that
you guys thought like 100%
were going to
make it?
Going to do it? Going to get married?
that didn't.
Oh,
that didn't?
Yeah.
No.
No.
No.
It kind of played out how we...
Exactly how you guys anticipated.
Honestly.
Because we were seeing them on a regular basis.
Right, right.
We lived in that apartment building together.
So even without having...
Like, we talked, but even just seeing
the energy of the different couples.
Yeah.
We had an inkling.
Like, oh, I don't think that like it.
Yeah.
What was the first thing you guys did when the camera stopped?
You guys are married now.
Oh, man.
What was that like?
Yeah.
No, I'm kidding.
Oh, I can imagine.
Well, what did we do?
No, I'm kidding.
Love it.
A lot of sleep probably.
Yeah.
Just enjoy our privacy.
At one point it was just like, okay.
Right, right, right.
But we're like, when it ended,
did you guys have this feeling come over?
You like, shit, we're married.
I felt that right after the pastor was like,
and I now pronounce you husband and wife.
I was like, okay, well, I did this.
turning back.
Right.
But moving into the house and everything and really getting settled and probably maybe that
first night sleeping next to each other, it was just like, okay.
Day one, here we go.
You know, let's get started.
Yeah, I mean, I didn't have any regrets.
I think, you know, it's society would tell you like in this type of a scenario, like,
hey, this is crazy.
I mean, it looks like that at first glance, right?
It's kind of crazy, super fast.
but it felt right for one.
We talked about all the things we knew we needed to to make the relationship work.
And kind of to what Lauren was saying,
it's easy to self-sabotage.
It's easy to just have doubts because we're, I mean,
being skeptical is a good thing until you use too much skepticism and screw things up for yourself.
Right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So when you guys moved.
in together in that complex and everybody was staying together.
When the show was over, did you have time in those places still or was it like,
get out of there?
Yeah, we actually moved out of those places like.
A week before the wedding.
Oh, wow.
So we could have our time, you know, before we actually got married.
Yeah.
And now where do you guys live?
We're in Decatur.
Yeah.
Yep.
In the house.
Yeah, we lived together in our house now.
Yeah.
Is the house that's, that was your house?
house. Yes, it was. I know.
People said it looked like a prop house.
Right. Well, it was really beautiful.
I think that's why. So I was like, I was going to say, right, I would definitely
take that as a compliment. That looks like a staged home.
It needed like a feminine touch though. Right.
It was just kind of like a bachelor pad.
Yeah. Gotting curtains in there, some carpet, you know.
Love it. Got to class it up a little bit.
Yeah, you know, make it a little classy.
But you guys have been married now for a year and a half.
Right. And like we said in the beginning of this,
I think it's great that you guys had this time together because you can now go through this hard, because this is going to be a hard time, obviously.
You know, you have people coming out all over the place criticizing the show, but you also have people who love the show.
But you guys now have built this foundation together where you can just help each other, which I think is amazing that you guys are still together, honestly.
Like you're proving a lot of doubters, including myself, wrong.
See?
Not kidding.
But it's just great to see.
What do you guys think is the
Obviously besides being on camera and it being a show
What do you think is the biggest difference between the beginning of when you guys got married to now?
Yeah, I think we've kind of grown
For sure
More alike each other and you know
There's a lot of things I admire about Lauren that's
I think that's one of the reasons why I married her you know I love her bright personality
You know she's funny when I'm you
usually kind of more serious.
We're ying and yang.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, we've kind of picked up on each other a little bit.
Yeah, definitely.
I was going to say, definitely, like, grown into each other.
I mean, of course, we evolve as individuals as people anyway.
I mean, I'm not the same person I was a week ago, let alone like a year and a half.
So just evolved as an individual.
And, of course, as a couple, you know, learning each other's quirks, like Cameron said,
personality, family life, not sharing toothbrushes, you know what you?
That was your number one thing, right?
That you just were, you will not.
Oh, yeah, girl.
We are not doing that.
And that's, that's emergencies only.
No, not even, not even emergencies.
I understand.
The finger brush.
Yeah.
Fingerbrush is usually the go-to.
Yeah.
Doesn't do the job as well, but also like.
Thank you.
You understand.
Yeah, I get it.
It's like, I don't know, the curb your enthusiasm episode where it has to use the toothbrush.
Sometimes you just need to get those bristles.
Right.
You got to get them scrubbing.
She's like, yeah.
I'm like one thing anywhere.
We're on the same page.
That is so funny.
Camera,
one of my favorite moments was you rapping to Lord's mom.
Right.
Mine too.
Can, so like, when you were about to open your mouth and do this,
were you like, why am I doing this?
Well, you know, her mom asked.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, yeah, I used to rap in college and stuff.
Yeah.
So it was a song I'd written like 10 years ago.
Not a freestyle.
Not a freestyle.
You should just tell people it's a freestyle.
I mean, whatever, you know.
Yeah, I mean, I wasn't going to say no to her mom.
Yeah, yeah.
It wasn't for the show.
It was for her mom.
Yeah, yeah.
That makes sense.
I got to make a good impression.
Yeah.
And now everybody's family, I know because there's a little, obviously,
hesitation from parents.
Maybe I know your dad was a little hesitant.
Everybody has come around now.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
We're all one big blended family now.
I mean, this past Thanksgiving, we flew Cameron's family in to Atlanta and my family in from Detroit.
And we were just all together eating, cooking, laughing, chasing a dog around.
Like, it's fun.
That is fantastic.
What are you to us?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Truly amazing.
Thank you for joining us.
If you haven't watched Love is Blind yet, go watch it.
That's right.
You just got the whole thing spoiled for you.
Yeah.
Well, that's fine.
It's still worth the one.
But it's still worth the reunion show because that's coming out.
We haven't either.
We're recording this on Wednesday.
It comes out Thursday.
So I'm very excited for that.
Me too.
Is the reunion like most reality TV show reunions where people are fighting and stuff?
There's some of that.
There's a mix of everything.
I don't like the show itself.
There's that sort of fighting stuff.
Because you would think that the couples that are together, like you guys are good.
You don't have anything to yell at about each other, but the couples that broke up.
and have seen each other.
You know,
it gets a little spicy,
a little spicy.
But that's what we hope for.
Yeah, right?
For entertainment purposes.
Like, yeah, somebody fight.
On the other side, that's what we're rooting for.
It's just great because I feel like
that the show was an experiment.
It worked for a good amount of you.
So now that makes me think I'm like,
I hope there's another season.
Yeah.
They keep doing it because it's got to be.
It's got to be.
Well, when you actually get people married,
You got to...
Oh, they're looking at me.
It was a giant...
If it was a giant failure, then it would make sense.
Right.
Right.
True.
Yep.
Yep.
But it worked.
So I'm very excited.
Hopefully there...
Oh, I had one last thing I wanted to ask you.
Okay.
This is it.
This is the end.
It's great.
We're here.
There's a lot of rumors on the internet about Vanessa and Nick Lechay, like how much they were
actually on the show.
People joked that it seemed like they were staged and they filmed them after the show.
going on.
They were there.
They were there.
Yeah, they were there.
Okay, so to debunk that,
they were there.
They were not projected images.
No.
They were real people.
Right.
Like,
they weren't hologram.
It seems like they filmed this whole show and then they had Vanessa and
Nicklishet.
No, they were there.
Like, Vanessa, they didn't show up, but she was actually like at my wedding.
She came to visit before the wedding.
We had a nice little talk.
I mean, there's so much of the show that got cut.
Yeah, yeah.
But, yeah, we had a, we cried together at my wedding.
Like, it was crazy.
Okay.
So they were way more involved than we saw.
They were. I love that.
That would be it's so much better. I just feel like at this point
that everyone wants to see you guys, but
they have to sprinkle in the host a little bit.
Right, yeah. That makes sense.
Well, thank you guys so much for joining us.
Thank you.
Congrats again.
Oh, thank you.
This is amazing. And I wish you guys the best of luck.
Thank you so much. This was fun.
Thank you.
All right, that wraps up.
Today's episode. We hope you had a fantastic week.
We hope you have a fantastic weekend.
And we'll talk to you on my.
I don't know.
Up in the penthouse and your tough nuts and your dick out.
And I don't want to be in the neighbors, yeah, because you hold down my...
