Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners.
You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube.
Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music.
This is state of emergency.
What's up, everyone?
It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Friday.
This is our last episode before vacation.
I'm not going to scream into the microphone, but just act like I'm screaming and wiggling my little tush.
I'm shaking my titty.
Like I'm a puppy.
My tails wagon.
Yeah, well, we're all excited and hyped up.
We did watch What Happens Live last night.
So fun.
Which was so cool, so fun.
Great environment.
Yes.
Like the music on point.
Everyone that works on the show, so great.
Like the people that hype up the crowd and get everybody going, make sure everybody feels comfortable.
The energy is there.
Work the polls.
My dad had the best night of his life.
Oh, my God.
I was so happy he came.
I was so happy that, you know, we were told we had one audience seat.
We were like, this got to go to Ria's dad, like we said.
And thankfully, you know, last minute, they actually said that they had a couple more seats.
So Kelly and Kelly Martin came with us and Gia, my sister, who had a seat as well.
So like, everyone we brought was in the audience, which was a nice treat.
It was so cool.
My dad was like, I'm literally on cloud nine.
Like when we were leaving, he was like, this is the best night of my life.
Because he is just like, he was home from work.
work. This was years ago. Like my parents always say this story years and years ago. My dad was home from work and
my mom came home for lunch from work and my dad started watching the housewives and then
my mom went back to work and came home for dinner, you know, for the night and my dad was still
watching housewives and then he just got attached to Bravo like that was it. It was locked in and so
yesterday was so cool for him and it was so cool having him there because I don't know me
and my dad just have this bond over like this kind of stuff. What's happening?
We popped a button. I just noticed. I swear it. I swear it.
not tight on me.
No, no, no.
It's just,
it's just, the way pop a button does make it sound like the button would fly across the
way.
I swear.
It's not to be too big.
Yeah, that's why.
No, honestly it is too big.
I swear.
I'm actually being dead serious.
That's why if it was, you know?
Yeah.
Because it's loose.
The button came on button.
Thank you.
But, no, my dad and I just bond over the stuff because he is the one who like took me in and
out of the city when I was younger for auditions and all that.
and he was so dedicated and it was really cool for him to see that and also be a huge Bravo fan.
It's not like we were on TV and it's cool for him, but he's like, oh my God, I'm in the clubhouse.
He was like, I've always wondered why they called it the clubhouse.
As soon as we got there, he was like, this really is a clubhouse.
He was like, this is fun.
You know, everyone gets a drink.
Andy was so sweet.
And, you know, shot a couple questions to us on the show.
Thought we handled it very well.
we hit our marks, our smile and waves.
Kept doing this.
Hey.
Hey.
That's us.
Shout out to the people who were the first people ask a question and they gave a shout
out to us.
They were like, what big and sticks in the office made us look cool.
I know, it did.
That was that.
Thank you to those girls.
And obviously they said their names before, like Andy said their names before the question.
Do you never remember what it was?
Or play the clip.
Hey, no.
Play the clip.
We totally blanked out because we were so excited.
I know.
Oh, you don't have Andy before.
It's right after.
Play it anyway.
Play it anyway.
Play it anyway.
Play it anyway.
Yeah.
Play it in the beginning where they said the chicks in the office part.
Yeah.
Oh, that's us.
That's us.
I feel like that was major brownie points in Andy's eyes too.
His face was like, he's like, oh, that's nice.
Yeah, my dad said he went, they recorded it and he went and watched it back this morning.
And he was like, Andy's face.
Oh, wait, your dad recorded it?
I was like trying to find a way to get a high-res version of this show.
It's on Peacock.
Yeah, you can just get it on Peacock.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
Watch Rapins Live is on Peacock.
Oh.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
Because, okay, yeah.
You can use my wagon if you want.
Yeah.
Yes.
You can absolutely go into Peacock and rewatch as many times as you want to see us wave and smile.
It was so cool.
Have a good time.
I know I had one thing to add about your dad too.
It was just so sweet because he really does love Bravo.
We went to drinks before and he was like, you guys remember who Taylor is, right?
Like you remember her story or background, everything.
We were like, kind of, but he gave us a full refresher, you know, made sure we all remember.
everything. It was great. It was really nice to have him. I was, we were limited with how many people
we could bring with us. And I'm glad we were able to include family. Yes. Because most of the time we
obviously bring the tricks in the office team. Yes. Which is great. Sorry, Noah. We did really,
you know, it was like, we did try. We were given a hard number and we were like, I'm sorry,
I have to bring my dad to this. I thought like maybe I could get away with.
being like, Noah, you don't really like care about going, right?
He was like, no, I want to go.
I was like, oh, shit.
We obviously felt so bad, but like in my head, it was just like my dad over everybody at
that point.
Like, this man lives and dies.
Nobody's going to.
By me and Bravo.
Yeah, I don't think anybody is going to knock us for bringing family to a big personal,
professional moment for the two of us.
So cool.
We've been waiting a long time to do that.
We've been wanting to do it for years now and we finally got to do it.
And maybe we'll be invited back.
Who knows?
Hopefully, you know.
Next time on the couch.
Yeah.
Or just like, you know, we'll share a seat.
Yeah.
If you want to give us one seat.
Two guests is one.
Yeah.
We'll do that.
But it was so cool.
And now we are ready for vacation.
So ready.
And we are going to get into the episode because not to rush.
But we might get the fuck out of here or no.
No, we have an interview.
We have an interview soon.
It's going to be a great episode.
Oh, they're doing construction in the office.
Holy crap.
Is that a freaking chainsaw going down here?
While we're recording.
I don't know, but we'll keep going.
Oh, my God.
There's just focus on you going on.
What's like to work at martial sports?
Well, the room starts to vibrate sometimes when...
It doesn't feel as good as you would think.
Taking stocks start going.
Yeah, okay.
Anyway, we do have a great episode.
Great interview.
We do have a great interview with Nina Dobrev.
Very cool.
We interviewed her a couple years back.
And she came to our studio this time, which was very cool.
And we also have weekly watch report, of course, and a couple topics, quick topics.
Some flashy, like, news headlines this week, I would say.
We can throw some out there.
Kelsey Ballerini got hit with something on stage.
Why do people keep doing this at concerts?
It's out of control.
We'll get to it.
Oh, I thought we were jumping right into it.
You didn't list the topics.
I'm listing them right now.
I thought you were really going.
You were like, we're going to go to.
No, no, I was going to list them first.
Oh, wait.
Before you list of topics, I just wanted to say something like technically about the show for this
past episode.
I saw a lot of people.
I'm very aware of the cutting stems audio,
just the cutting stems audio,
it's hard to explain,
but like for some people,
it was silent and for some people it wasn't,
depending on like what device you have.
It's like this new system that we recorded in.
So that's why if you didn't hear,
if it was just silent for the cutting stems part,
that's why it's very,
we're all like, some people had just 30 minutes of silence
at the end of the episode.
And some people were like,
it worked on my blue,
it worked on my speaker,
but it didn't work on my phone.
I saw a lot.
And people,
were like tagging me but like
even the guys
they're going right to Noah
and you know what good
they're going right to the source guys
if you have any technical issues
with the episode go right to him
I love how nobody reached out to us
yeah that's great I love that
people are commenting in like messaging
chicks at office but even the like tech guys
here are like baffled by like it doesn't make any
sense they don't know why that's happening
because it works fine for me
if I go play the episode but then some people
it doesn't so mystery it's an illusion
wow
fascinating thank you for
okay no that's good info
we're workshoping
the whole Bachelorette recap situation.
I'll have more of an idea of when we get back.
Yeah, we will.
You got to figure out how often Trent's going to be here.
Then, you know, these episodes are late now, unfortunately.
So we kind of have to just think like 11 p.m.
sometimes we get screeners for episodes.
It could be completely transparent with the people, you know, see what we decide.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's the best way to go for this.
All right.
All right.
All right.
Back to the topics.
Kelsey Ballerini.
there is a Vanderpump
spinoff happening
I think and Pete Davidson
is apparently in
a rehab facility where John Malaney went
apparently he does this
you know he checks in
quote tune up he goes in for tuneups
and like I said weekly watch report
and a great interview with Nina Dobreff so let's
get into the topics we love you guys so much
thank you for supporting us these past few months
which have been crazy
traveling great stuff
happening and we've been
talking a lot about it, but you guys have been amazing with supporting us.
And then when we come back...
A two months, babe.
Yeah.
What?
It said, hell of a two months for us.
It has been.
I said there's been nobody on a better ride than us right now.
True.
We have been on quite the run.
I know.
And I'm proud of us.
I know.
And then we're going to go on vacation.
We're going to come back and we're going to have a nice July.
Hell yeah.
A nice simple July.
I think this is the month that my hair gets bleached.
Yeah, guys.
We're so close.
I think it's going to happen this month.
We're so close.
Yeah.
So subscribe.
Subscribe.
because we want to bleach nose hair in the summer.
Yep, to the YouTube.
Yes.
All right, let's get into the topics.
Chicks in the office hydrates with body armor and rides with team body armor.
Body armor is the official hydration partner of chicks in the office.
We've been drinking body armor from the beginning because they have the best products, best flavors, best ingredients, and best athlete partners.
No artificial stuff, no fake ingredients, real hydration with electrolytes, potassium, vitamins, etc.
There's body armor, sports drinks, and sport water all over this office.
We stock the fridge with it, and it's empty in an hour.
We fly through the body armor.
If you haven't tried it, you are living under a rock.
You need to get on the body armor wave.
Some of the top athletes in the world drink this over all the competition, like Trey Young, Christian McCaffrey, Alex Morgan, Donovan Mitchell, so many more.
Favorite flavor right now is, you know, our strawberry banana that we got on the table with us.
So we stay drinking all this in the office at the gym
All over the place really, you know, when we're hung over
It's super hydrating all body armor all the time
Buy body armor now on Amazon
Starting off with Kelsey Ballerini at her show
Somebody threw something at her on stage
Why is this happening? What is wrong with people?
I don't know. Why are people farm animals? They don't know how to act
Now I don't like that this is becoming a trend
because now people are so sick in the head
that they'll think that they'll get their big viral moment
and it's going to happen to more people
like it's like oh a one-off thing oh fine
but after the BB rexo one it was like
it seemed like oh this could be
could be a big moment
throwing shit at people on stage
let me throw my mom's ashes or a big wheel of brie cheese
at pink like and now this
what the fuck is wrong with people
seriously what what possesses people's minds
What is wrong with people?
There's something wrong with them.
That's not normal.
That is not normal.
I saw the Just Jared headline on Instagram this morning.
And I must say, just like my brain where it went because it said Idaho, but it said,
Oh, why can't I find it now?
Oh, here.
Kelsey Ballerini was hit in the face all performing in Idaho.
And I don't know how my brain.
I don't know if I just saw like the
Kelloggianney face Idaho
and my brain
thought that this headline said
she was hit in the face with the potato
because Idaho potatoes
that would be crazy.
The first split second I was like
oh my God somebody here with a fucking potato
in Idaho? You got to be worried about which state you go to
which vegetable are going to go to go to
Iowa with the corn at you. Yeah
wherever you go
but whatever their thing is. That wasn't the case
I actually don't know
we know what was thrown at her.
I saw the video look like a small thing, which is so dangerous.
But it hit her in the eye.
You can literally blind somebody.
Yes, literally hit her in the eye.
I feel so bad for her.
I feel so bad for everybody this is happening to.
I cannot express enough how much humans disgust me because they don't know how to act.
Yeah.
Like, I'm just like, where did you learn to act this way?
And are you that crazy?
Like, it just doesn't comprehend in my brain that people would do these kinds of things.
and it's not funny.
It's not funny.
Stop.
It's not funny.
Now when people have to go on stage or perform,
they're scared to do it
because they don't know
if they're going to get blinded
by something thrown at them.
We don't like to scold people,
but we'll scold you right now.
I am scolding everybody who does that.
Yeah.
Because it's fucked up.
Weird too.
It's fucked up and it's weird.
Don't be weird about it.
Enjoy the show.
Stop throwing things at people.
One side comment.
Fires me up.
It does.
I'm sorry.
It pisses me off.
Because it's like, now you see another headline and you're just like, oh, because she got a, she could
have gotten seriously hurt.
Same thing with BB Rexley, who got very hurt.
And I just like, you're paying your good, hard-earned money to go see this person in concert.
Why would you throw something at them?
And they're getting on stage and they feel safe enough to get on stage.
And imagine something terrible happens.
And all they were doing was doing their job on stage.
Like, I can't imagine that feeling.
Yeah, totally.
Couldn't agree more.
My side note comment was that the video of Chase surprising her at her show for 24 hours
and she got off the plane she saw him, she dubbed in his arms.
Fucking cute is very cute.
They're just so goddamn cute.
I said this to you the other day.
I can't take it.
No, they're really cute.
I said, um, Chase knows he looks like he's back.
And I said he's love.
I said, you know what?
You know what I mean?
You could tell.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Yes.
100%
like single late night in the club
chase wasn't
disheveled wasn't the best
but like in love
filming outer banks
traveling across the country to be supportive boyfriend
love this era for him
he looks great they look great together that video is so cute
and then there's another video she like was singing the line
in the song about kissing someone new and she went off
to kiss him and went back on stage
they're so cute I love them together I really do they're so cute
Big smiles every time I see it.
It makes me happy that like, you know what, maybe this is great for him and Madeline on set of Outer Banks.
Totally.
She has her boyfriend.
Totally.
He has her girlfriend.
They're both happy separately.
And that's always the best case when people are happy separately.
And then it's like, I think that's also how you can.
We can work together.
Yeah, you can also, I think that's also how you can kind of, not everybody can do it,
but some people can maintain some sort of friendship.
Yeah.
You don't have to be best friends.
Right.
But you don't got to do that in real life.
Like I'm telling you worked.
Well, they work together.
If you're on set filming a TV show and you two are a couple in the show.
And they're in love in the show.
And you have to work together, then this is the best case scenario.
For sure.
But otherwise, that doesn't have to be the case in real life.
Yeah, for sure.
It is real life for them.
Yeah, totally.
But, you know, people not on TV shows.
Yeah.
Moving on, Vanderpump is apparently getting a spinoff with Jacks, Brittany, Kristen.
Why not just put them on the original Vanderpump is my question?
I don't know.
Maybe they just want a totally different show at this point.
Or they just like,
the angle of this is like a kid's kind of, like, I don't, parents,
but obviously, you know, Chris is not parent,
but there must be.
So, Bravo clearly wants more Vanderpump content as much as possible.
So it's like if they were ever going to get people interested in continuing some kind of show,
they would do this.
And now I'm kind of thinking, though, like,
what stops the people who don't want to associate with Tom Sandoval
to just be on this show?
It's like, you know?
Right.
Right.
Like, are we just going to have the two different friend groups on different shows?
You're going to have some people that can bop in between.
Right.
Like sheen is on both, but Ariana's on one.
Heroes versus villains.
Yeah.
Vanderpump version.
So this came from deadline yesterday that said that,
According to a deadline report published on Wednesday,
the new reality show is said to include former cast members
Jacks Brittany Kristen.
While deals have not yet been confirmed,
the outlet reported that the new reality series will feature an eight-episode season.
The untitled show will allegedly follow Taylor and Cartwright and Doty
after they traded in their chaotic West Hollywood, California lives for baby bottles in the valley.
The spinoff comes off the heels of a heavily publicized season 10 of VPR, obviously.
And yeah, that's really, that's the only,
info we have on this. I'm sorry, but
you need both in one show
because that
oh, they're watching their kids, they're raising
their kids, blah, blah.
It's boring. But you got to
mix the other people in and then make it one show
and then people are interested in both. You get a little
downtime, you get a little craziness.
Just put them on the old Vanderpump.
Bring them back. Maybe it's a principal
thing for like Jackson, Kristen
and whoever who like basically got kicked
off the original Vanderpump. Maybe they're like
fuck that. We don't want to come back. We want our own
Well, Jackson and Brittany left.
Jackson and Brittany left, but Kristen Stasi were fired.
So, like, maybe for them, they're like, we want our own thing.
And I also don't know if Stasi will have any involvement with this.
I feel like she's happy doing her thing, her podcast, your family.
I listened to her on Color Daddy.
She was saying, like, she doesn't really think, unless, like, the perfect, perfect situation
happened for her to go back to reality TV.
It's, like, not something she's dying to.
Yeah, I think she's, like, thriving right now.
I think it's great.
Right now, we are in full express.
outfits we love when we wear our express outfits to work we feel like sophisticated working gals

So when I go outside, I can let the tube top have its moment. Yes, exactly. It's cold in here.
It's business professional and then party on the inside. Exactly. These pants are also awesome. I really do love. They come in a bunch of colors also.
We are loving Express. I love these heels so much. I love a little black heel with some jeans that like go over the heel a little bit when you stand up. I love it so much.

Pete Davidson checked into a rehab facility.
Same one, Domilani went to
which by the way, still you should watch
Domelady's Netflix special where he talked about. I watched
It's so good.
It was really good.
Apparently he goes in for tune-ins for checkups every once in a while, which I think is healthy.
Totally.
So this headline came out this week that he's in rehab after struggling with borderline personality disorder and PTSD.
He's at the same facility in Pennsylvania that John Mullini was at.
And one friend said Pete's, Pete regularly goes to rehab for tune-ups and to take a mental break.
So that's what's happening.
You know, tough, like the last like month or so, I think there was.
There's a lot going on for him.
If this is the healthiest way for him to deal with, I don't know, any ups and downs in
his life, that's great.
That's great.
He should absolutely do that because people, page six reference, you know, the PETA voicemail,
which did seem slightly unhinged.
And, you know, it was just like a voicemail that I would be very pissed if it was then posted
on the interview.
I mean, on the internet.
Yeah.
And he was also charged.
with the count of rec was driving after the incident.
We remember when he drove his car into that house in Beverly Hills.
So all seems like a good thing.
Close source told page six,
anyone who knows Pete knows that he will always step up and get help when he knows he needs it.
He has a lot of people in his corner who love him and support him and are proud of him.
So that's just,
I look as just said.
I think that's so nice.
For anybody who can recognize like, hey, I got to slow down right now.
Take care of myself, get better.
Whatever Pete needs.
Yeah, absolutely.
I have one comment to make, because I remembered as we started recording.
And it's just a quick follow-up to what we talked about on Wednesday.
Because we recorded before Braxton Berrios posted an Instagram story saying, you know, there was no cheating, didn't cheat.
Our relationship ended in January.
I was fairly surprised Braxton even made this video in the first place.
That shows me that he's clearly really trying with Alex.
You know, it's like, I'm going to do everything I can to make myself look like the best guy ever.
I don't think he was trying to be like I'm the best guy ever.
No, but I mean that in the standpoint of like he does not need to do that.
He said he doesn't really talk about his personal life.
but he's clearly starting something new
and wants to
have a better image, I think.
But just in general,
if people are making false accusations about you,
even if you have a girlfriend or new girlfriend or not,
and it's completely false,
you would want to be like, that's not true.
Yeah, but sometimes you're just saying nothing
is like the best because then people have,
they think you're going to answer every question after that.
And it's like, like at the end of the day,
A lot of people think what they want.
Like, you know what's true and not true.
Yep.
So, Villacopal also then posted on her TikTok story and said, she posted the real timeline.
We broke up after the Drake concert Super Bowl weekend where he was seen making out with another girl.
Not bitter.
In fact, I know the situation has been one of my biggest blessings.
I wish everyone in this situation all the best, including myself, which is why I'm here to share the truth so I can officially be done with all this.
All love, heart.
So she posted a screenshot of text with Braxton on.
Tuesday, January 31st,
2023, she said to him,
it seems like you contemplated
the alternative, though.
We don't know what that really was
because we don't see before that.
He said, no, I haven't. Don't read into that.
She said, okay, so you want to be with me?
He said, yes, I want to be with you.
She said, okay, back to Sirius talking. Then he said,
ha, they went back to, you know, conversation.
And then Saturday, February 11th,
she wrote to him, I really hope it doesn't
blow up anymore, but that's not in my control.
What will be will be. And okay,
just let me know.
He said it won't and I'll do everything in my power to make sure of it because I don't
want to be associated with anything like that.
Obviously, you don't deserve that and frankly, neither do I.
I mean, I'm assuming that's like referring to him, rumors of him making out with the girl at
the Super Bowl party.
What I'm gathering from these texts is that they were very much having, like on and off,
like having conversations.
He went wrong by saying, yes, I want to be with you because she was like, so you want to be.
But then also when she's like, okay, so you do want to be with me, it's like,
all right well he's kind of making it seem he's probably making it seem like he doesn't yeah but his words are saying otherwise yeah and then at the end when he's like you want to believe your boyfriend of two years when he says he wants to be with right and then at the end when he's like okay so I'm gonna go play basketball it's like he got out of that conversation so fast it's like clearly yeah you know he was saying one thing but he his mind was telling him another thing for sure and that kind of screwed him there for sure um so I understand Sophia being frustrated obviously and angry yeah
at the same time, none of this had to be public.
For sure.
None of this.
Text messages, all, like, none of it had to be public.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So now we just have, like, bits and pieces of what really happened.
It's just so funny because it feels like a buildup, right?
Someone makes a statement.
Someone makes another statement.
Someone posts receipts.
Someone then says, like, oh, you only posted part of the text.
Let me post all that.
And then it's all of a sudden we're reading their full-blown conversation.
Right.
It's like they're like full.
It feels so invasive.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm like, why am I reading these people's text messages?
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Show that to your friends.
Also, Sophia.
Meanwhile, I'll, oh, what were we going to say?
I was going to say, Sophia.
And this is like an encouragement of her, like,
delete the text messages, move on, get somebody better, go live your life.
You know what I, like I said on the last episode, let them do their thing.
You go do your thing.
You don't need him, you know?
Which clearly I think she feels that way now.
you know posting what she said but so you know it's a hard it's a mind game I will say serious serious
mind game I I do love that Alex is just posting like yeah she's just date night unbothered
Alex Earl absolutely unbothered I kind of love that energy though she's just like here we are
cooking in my apartment when you have the entire internet like talking about you and and you're just
like here we are cooking yeah it's like what else are you going to say to that let them be happy
and cook together and do whatever at this point.
Completely unbothered.
She's unbothered by it.
Yeah.
So, whatever.
That was, I just wanted to throw that one in there.
Yeah.
It was a follow-up.
Yeah, because right after we recorded, we were like, oh, man.
Yeah, yeah.
Because we were like, oh, he was a cheater, cheater.
He put on his.
And he said he didn't cheat, so.
But, you know, she says he did.
So the classic, we were on a break.
Yeah.
Yep.
All right.
That wraps up the topics.
And we're going to get into the weekly watch report.
All right.
We're going to get into the weekly watch report.
Watch Report, and this is sponsored by Pink Whitney. Pink Whitney is the number one flavored vodka,

Welcome back to the weekly watch report where we talk about the things we watched this week.
I got two things, so. Yeah, all I watched was Love Island. I got one thing. Episodes 1 through 17 on Hulu.
I'm going to give it a B minus for now.
Who are you liking?
Who are you not liking?
Because now I'm up to 24 because I'm up to date.
I don't really love any of them.
People tell me I look like Leah.
Oh, I can see that.
So I like her.
I hope it's just appearance-wise because she's a fucking snooze.
Yeah, yeah.
And you do not have.
that you have a much different personality.
Oh, thank you.
She's like, God, I don't spoil it because I'm, it's not a spoiler at all.
It's just, she's just boring.
Just got to the part where she came in.
Oh, okay.
So like, or I, I don't even know if I'm on episode 17 or whatever, but she's just got there.
She's very beautiful, um, but watching her conversations.
Yeah.
She was trying so hard with Tyreek.
Yeah.
This is what I'm up to.
And I'm just like, give it up.
Go to somebody else. Don't spoil it, but whatever.
No, I won't. I won't. I won't.
Yeah, I've also been watching Love Islands, so I'm totally up to date with that as well.
I will not, God, this is where things really get hard for me when it comes to talking about
this show, because I am up to date, UK time.
All I will say is there was a twist around episode, not a twist, but there was like a moment
that happened around episode 20-ish, 19, 20,
where it had my jaw on the floor.
Jaw on the floor.
I'm excited to watch.
Yeah, it was a, that's all I'm saying.
Like, I was like, wow, they had the balls to do that
because producers had to be involved in that decision.
It was crazy.
Also, they must have been absolutely fucking pumped
because it definitely stirred some drama.
I like Jess a lot.
I like
I hate Sammy
Hate hate hate hate hate
He might be one of my least favorite
That's been on this show like ever
I don't know how this guy goes around
Acting as like suave as he does
When he's got that fucking curly middle part
I don't know what he's doing with his hair
I hate it
And he's just he made one comment about Jess
That I just really didn't like
Really didn't sit well with me
I'm not deep enough yet
Yeah I'm not that's like I said
I'm just you know I'm going
surface level here.
Mitch, I think, can't really catch a break.
He reminds me so much of Luca.
Yeah. Yeah.
There was actually a really funny TikTok that I saw of how the Love Island people just
cast.
They have like the type of person and they have that for every single season and they just
fill in the blanks of like who's going to be which in every season.
They just like fill in the stereotypes of like the person.
and it's a formula that works obviously.
But, yes.
Other than that, I'm honestly, I do enjoy most of the girls.
I think they all seem sweet and like they all get along really well.
We just continue to go on another season of boys.
Like, it's another season where the boys, I'm just like,
none of these guys are doing it for me.
And that's not even just looks wise, like personality wise.
I'm like, none of these guys are just doing it.
I thought maybe that guy was going to be Zachariah at the beginning.
And then I just, I don't, he doesn't, now he just feels more boring than anything else.
So I don't know.
We'll see.
They'll obviously have to stir things up.
I'll give Love Island a B from where I'm at right now.
Anything else?
That's what you watched?
That's it.
Okay.
I did not finish the bear, but I watched one through six of season two of the bear.
Phenomenal.
So good.
I give it an A for sure.
I love this
It's a great ensemble, the whole group
I'm excited to see what happens
Like I said, it's hard to talk about
Because I haven't fully finished it yet
Sometimes these episodes are hard to
Even though they're quick, they're fast, they're 30 minutes
It's hard for me to binge this show
Because it's just a lot of emotions, a lot going on
And the Christmas episode
Was so good
But it's
and like so anxiety inducing at the same time.
Like it was a perfectly filmed episode of chaos
and came across so well
and it was such a good background example
of why the family is the way that they are
because you see more of their relatives,
you see their mom,
and the guest stars playing the rest of the family members.
Love some good guest stars.
Unbelievable.
Yeah.
These are all like...
Noah, you must have been salivating.
I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
They were popping up.
Yeah, and they're all like, for the most part, like, very well-respected actors.
100%.
And they were all so good.
So, yeah, absolute solid A.
If you're not watching The Bear, I highly recommend.
Really, you finish season one or no.
So I have something to say.
You don't like it.
So I actually was texting with Fidelberg last night.
Oh, I saw his tweet.
He tweeted.
He doesn't really like it.
I sent it to him.
And his tweet was, I have a confession.
I don't know if I love the bear.
I can tell it's a good show.
The acting is great,
but something about it just doesn't grab me.
And I texted it to him.
I said, thank you for being so brave.
And we went back and forth.
And we were like, we're both trying so hard.
But I've tried so hard.
And it just doesn't grab me.
It's fine.
But sometimes I will try and watch a show.
And I will try and watch a show, try and watch a show.
And then like a year or two later, I'll watch it and I'll love it.
Yeah.
But like a, I don't know why.
I have tried multiple times now.
And I can't get into it.
And I know it's a good show.
I feel like there's something wrong with me.
But I can't get into it.
No, no, no.
And I love Jeremy Allen White and Shameless.
So I thought I was going to eat this up.
And I love a good, yes, chef.
I love a chef show.
Yeah.
I can't.
I don't know why.
I feel like there's something wrong with me.
I feel like I'm going crazy.
And I said to John, I was like, I don't know if I'll ever be brave enough to admit this.
And now I'm saying it right now.
It was like one day it'll come, but it's not soon.
And now it is.
Yeah, it's right now.
Yeah, it's right now.
So you never finish season one.
Fran, I went back to do it three times.
Yeah.
Oh, no, I don't care.
I'm just asking if you did.
Trust me, I watched.
And nothing is going in my brain with it.
Nothing.
Like I, so then we put on season two.
Because I was like, all right, I can't get through season one.
Let's just jump to season two.
couldn't.
I couldn't.
It's not grabbing on to me.
It's not sticking to me.
I'm not kidding.
I was like, let me just try season two
because I can't finish season one.
Nope.
Yeah, look, I don't get that.
I understand where you're coming.
I just think it's such an easy show to watch.
It's so fast, like they're just,
they're short episodes.
10 episodes, pretty easy to consider.
Trust me, I'm aware.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm saying right now that I get it,
but I can't.
I can't.
Yeah.
I don't know what else is saying.
I'm not going to pretend to love a show that I don't love.
No one's asking you to do that.
I'm just not.
But don't come for me.
I'm not saying it's a bad show.
Like, I just, it's not sticking to me personally.
That's fine.
You should watch just that episode that Fram was talking about that.
Yeah, the Christmas episode is so good.
It's an hour long.
I would love to read John's text about this, but I also don't want to blow up his spot because he was afraid.
I'm sure he's saving it also for his own.
show you know
I feel like he'd probably get these takes off on his own show
his text about the Christmas episode
Why?
You can, I don't
No, I'm not gonna blow up his spot
Yeah yeah
Um, Noah, what do you got?
Uh, okay, so I watched
The new episodes of Breakpoint came out
Oh yeah
And they were good
Um, it's cool because
You remember what happens
And then you're seeing like behind the scenes of it
I'll give that a B plus
Um, yeah, yeah, it's cool.
Uh,
extraction two
give that a B plus
just exactly
what you would expect
like just nonstop action
Chris Hemsworth
like solid
the bear season two
I watched all of it
give that an A
like just
we just talked about
and then I just started
a show last night
hijack with Edress Elba
it's on Apple TV
you've been a real
big Apple TV guy recently
there's so many things
an Apple TV that I don't think anyone would hear about unless you open the Apple TV app.
Like, I open the app and then I just see all these shows that I've never heard of.
I don't know when this came out, I think recently, but it's, no one would watch that and be like,
I don't like this, because it's literally what it is.
They're on a plane.
It's being hijacked.
Idrisalba was, like, the main character of, like, trying to figure out what to do.
And it's just, like, one of those, like, Liam Neeson type.
Yeah.
It's just very entertaining.
I'll get that a B-plus as well.
I used to watch this show with Idris Albaugh on Netflix where he was a DJ.
I mean, he's a DJ in real life.
And they never came back.
DJ Charlie, I think his name was.
Really?
I never heard of that.
Look it up.
But yeah, that's what I watched.
I do want to go see the West Anderson new West Anderson movie.
Oh, yeah.
I haven't had time.
It's right up your alley.
Yeah.
You're such a Wes Anderson guy.
She had told me she didn't like love it, but I've heard conflicting reports.
I just am not a Wes Anderson girl, you know?
How many Russ Anderson movies have you seen?
A few. Royal Tena Moms?
Yeah.
Rushmore? No.
Oh, Rushmore. I love Rushmore.
Grand Budapest?
Another, like, older one that I've seen.
Moonerized Kingdom? Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, they're just...
Not for everyone.
His style's just on my cup of tea.
Sneesh.
Yeah. Okay. I think that's it for everything that we watch this week.

All right, everyone, we are here with a very special guest.
We are joined by the lovely Nina Dobra.
Thank you so much for joining us.
Thank you for having me.
So you were on the show a couple years back.
Probably more longer than that.
Yeah, I would.
I would say three plus.
Yeah.
It's like pre-COVID or post-COVID?
Pre-COVID, yeah.
So definitely three over three.
Which feels just like a whole other lifetime.
We were in the serious studio.
We were not here.
So we are very thankful you came to our studio today.
Of course.
I'm so happy to be here.
We're super excited.
You have a new movie coming out.
The Outlaws Netflix, which is great.
How excited are you for the movie?
Tell us about your character.
Yeah.
So you've mentioned already.
It's called The Outlaws.
outlaws. It is a Netflix movie and my character's name is Parker. She's a yoga instructor. She's got a lot of
tattoos. She's very free-spirited. And she is engaged to be married to Owen is the character name,
but Adam Devine plays that role. And Owen has never met her parents. And they last minute surprise her
and tell her that they're coming to their wedding. And what she doesn't know is that her parents are outlaws. They are
criminals and the reason why she didn't see them
a lot is because they're running from the law.
So it gets really crazy. It's an
action-packed comedy. Yeah.
And Richard Kines in it
who's hilarious, absolutely
hilarious. And I mean, the whole
rest of the cast, Julie Hargady.
What's his name? I'm blanking right now.
I already said, I don't know.
I did your name? How did I miss
Papa? Your parents are
Pierce Brousen and Ellen Barking. Yeah, Ellen Barkins
my mom and then Pierce Brasman is
Papa or Daddy
and yeah
they're so fun and I
had the best time shooting this movie and it turned out great
I think it's like a really fun
I think people are really gonna like it
yeah this is a good like you said
action summer
comedy he's so funny
Adam Devine I think like he's just
and he's so good at that like
kind of slapstick
humor that yeah it's so well
it's an Adam Sandler produced movie
So it's, you know, it's that he's like a little baby Adam. Adam Adam.
Was Adam Sandler around? Did you guys get to work with him?
He was, I've met him. I've hung with him and he's lovely. He's so funny.
And so just like, you know, regular normal guy. Like I'm obsessed with him.
Where did you guys shoot the movie? We shot it in Atlanta. Nice. Yeah. I feel like there's so many projects that are done in Atlanta. I know that. I know that.
Like it's like that's
People know that
But I feel like a lot of people on the outside
Don't realize how much is actually
Produced and made in Atlanta
Almost all the Marvel movies are shot in Atlanta
Really? I didn't know that.
Yeah, this is they have a big studio there
That's like their studio
And you know when I shot there for Vampire Diaries
A long, long time ago
We were one of the first
Yeah
To sort of like go to Atlanta
And the city has changed so much
And obviously like so many productions
have started shooting there now
And I definitely went back thinking that it would be like the same energy.
And it's just changed so much.
But I love it there.
And the crews are amazing.
Everyone works so hard.
They're like very professional and they've got it all down.
So it's really fun to be there.
Have you worked with Adam before?
I have.
Yeah.
I think it was maybe 2000.
Between 2013 and 15, I don't know the exact year.
It was a bit of a blur.
It was my 20s.
And the whole cast was really young.
Like I said, it was a bit of a blur.
But we all, we shot this movie called Final Girls, Adam and I.
That's where we met for the second time.
The first time we met, it was either like the MTV Movie Awards or the Teen Choice Awards.
He, like, photo bombed me on a red carpet.
Sounds about right, right?
It's right into the comedy realm.
Yeah, yeah.
I love when you talk about your early 20s and just, like, being with other young actors and, you know, partying and all that because you did.
I didn't say party, but you said party, but you said party.
I may have implied party.
Yeah, but I didn't say those words.
W Magazine ASMR, which like I love ASMR.
So I've seen like the W Magazine interviews.
And you told such a great story about being young on set of vampire diaries and celebrating
your 21st birthday.
Oh, yeah.
And you did like the everybody went to Vegas and you came back.
I feel like you just had so much fun growing up like in the industry, but also
surrounded by other young actors as well.
Well, what was great about it is that because of the Atlanta thing that we were telling
that I was telling you about, you know, we had a chance to actually grow up somewhat normal,
considering that we were on like a pretty big hit show.
Yeah.
We weren't in L.A. or New York where there was paparazzi and big events and distractions.
And, you know, we still did things and, you know, I'd say got into a little bit of trouble,
but like nobody really knew about it.
Yeah.
We were kids, but we weren't like plagued by the scrutiny that you sometimes get on other things, which I think was really great.
And we got to live normalish lives despite all of that.
So got to do some of like the normal 21st.
Yeah, I mean, Vegas is different.
That was very much in the spotlight.
Yeah.
Small but big celebrations or even small celebrations.
Yeah.
You can do, which is nice.
We grew up in the spotlight whilst outside of the spotlight.
Yeah.
Like you got to do your job, but then have a little.
separation from it.
Totally.
It's very cool.
You find out that Pierce Broson is playing your dad.
What's your reaction?
I was really excited, of course.
Are you kidding?
He's Bond.
Yeah.
Very cool.
And I know they made a little joke and it's in the trailer so I know I'm not giving
anything away, but I know that they kind of made a little joke about him being
Bond too and which one is that one.
And it's very cute.
But he just seems like.
The coolest guy.
He's so sweet and he's so, I don't want to say posh, but, you know, like, he's British.
He's chic.
He's chic, yes.
He's very lovely and sweet and wonderful to work with and funny and all the things that, you know, you wish your parents were.
You know?
And so I got to have that.
And I threatened my dad.
I was like, you better stay in line, man.
Because I got a backup.
He's Bond.
Okay.
Bond's my back.
up daddy. What's funny, when I think about him, I think of Mama Mia.
Which is just so funny. That was why when he did Mama Mia was like, oh, he can do everything.
He could do it all. Exactly. Exactly. What's it like when you, you know, get the opportunity to do like a Netflix film because I feel like as a working actor, getting to be on a streaming platform, I feel like that's not the goal, but you always want that opportunity.
Yeah, I mean, I've gotten to it a few times now.
And I'm collaborating with them again on something that I'm producing coming up, which has not been announced.
But, yeah, it's a great family to be a part of.
And they are extremely generous.
And shooting with them is fun because, you know, it's like a well-oiled machine and you know where it's going to land.
And you know that there's a viewership.
You know that people are going to watch.
And the whole point of making things, you spend so much time and energy and blood, sweat, and tears making something.
something that you want it to be seen. And so that's baked into Netflix. You know that there's
going to be an audience, which is really exciting. How exciting is it to get to produce something of
your own? Like really just hands on. It's cool. It's really cool. It can be frustrating because it's,
it takes so long. Like this is the one I was telling you about. I think we've been working on it
for three years. And it's not even like announced. No, exactly. I have some things that I've been
producing for over seven years.
One thing that tonight is actually premiering
at the Tribeca Film Festival.
That I produced. I'm not in it.
It's a documentary
called The League. And so
yeah, it's just been
a roller coaster and a learning
curve because it's new for me. And I
directed something that I produced
and that's a whole other beast.
But it is great to
be a part of something from its inception
and really be able to
influence what it becomes.
and, you know, it's a different experience when you are hired for a job that you then later, you know, you do your part and then you leave and then you just pray and hope that it goes well and it becomes the movie that you signed up for, but you don't really know until you show up at the premiere.
Were you always interested in more of like the behind the camera stuff or was it until you got into acting that you thought, oh, like the producing, directing, that would be cool?
I don't think I
No I think as I was as I
I think Vampire Diaries was the first time
I sort of realized I wanted to also be behind the camera
Because I spent so much time on set
And I wasn't one of those people that just sort of like
Was idly standing by
I was friends with the crew
I talked to the grips and the electrics and the camera guys
And I asked questions like how do you do this like why do you choose this lens
Like how I was just very inquisitive and
And I would often find
myself like I would hear them talk there'd be an issue on set and they'd be like I don't know like what do we do
it and I'd be like well obviously do this I would you know I was sort of nosy too in a lot of ways but I had
solutions and so it was frustrating to be on that side at that point and I wanted to be more hands-on
and so it was exciting to get to do it for the first time what's it like when you're producing
or directing more so producing and you have like conflicting ideas with somebody else on the
team, right? Because everybody has their own idea and like the way they think is the right way to do
something. How do you handle that when you feel so strongly about something? As an actor or as a
producer? It's tough. I mean, it's a lot of, luckily, you know, now I'm better at communication. I
don't know that I was when I was younger, but it's a lot of compromising communication and sort of
explaining why you think a certain thing. And at the end of the day, I mean, at least I can speak for
myself when I was the first thing I directed, I remember walking onto the set and just sort of
announcing to the crew. I was like, this is really exciting. Thank you for being here.
But also, I asked you here for a reason. It's because you do, you were the best at what you do.
I can't do what you do. I'm not a sound operator. I'm not a makeup artist. I'm not, like,
I trust you guys to do your jobs. And I'm very open to collaborating. And I want this to be like
a family environment. I want everyone to feel like they have ownership over.
it and I want it to be great.
So as much as I have these
ideas and I have a vision that is very clear
and concise and I know what I want,
I'm open to hearing other people's
ideas because together I believe we can
make it even better because somebody else's idea might be
better than mine and I just haven't thought of it.
I think that's a great outlook.
Yeah, and people were
empowered to actually
have a voice and they
did have great ideas and I think it
turned out that much better because of it.

doctor. I'll be honest
with you. I didn't know it was a profession
for a really long time. Like an
embarrassingly long time. Keep in mind.
You started so young too. Well, I'm an

So, like, none of my family

thought, I was
like obsessed with Angelina Jolie in action

and they love that. So that's what we watch at home.
And she's so
perfect and symmetrical.
and like otherworldly,
that I didn't think she was a real human.
Like, I thought she was an action figure.
This is obviously when I was really young.
I would watch the movie and think that she was like a doll,
like a life-sized doll that on whatever they shot movies.
You were ahead of the time.
AI.
Right, right.
Too Raider, you're like, this person is fake.
Yeah, I basically thought that there was like a cage that they put actors in.
And then they would come to sit,
they would take them out of the cage, put them on set.
They would do the scene,
and then they put it back on the set for the night
and then like the next day do it all over again.
They were so naive and just didn't understand.
And so obviously as I got a little bit older,
I started to realize that this was like,
oh, this is a job.
I could do this.
But also I was a bit of a troublemaker
and liked messing with people
and liked creating characters.
And like my mom tells a story about when I was,
we were traveling somewhere in Europe on a train
and she fell asleep.
And when she woke up, I just wasn't there anymore.
And she freaked down, thought that she lost me.
It was little.
And then she went a couple of carts down and found me speaking to a stranger in a British accent.
And I had like come up with this elaborate storyline of who I was and why I was here without a parent.
And the person believed me.
Oh, my gosh.
You know, and so it was just sort of like in my nature to do things like that and be other people.
I don't know if it was like trauma that I was like trying to escape from me.
I'll be anybody else.
Still trying to figure that out with my therapist.
But, yeah, I just kind of naturally was just creating characters my whole life.
And then I eventually found out that you could make a living doing it.
And so I pursued it.
How did DeGrassey come into your life?
DeGrassey came into my...
It's a long time ago.
Yeah.
Way too long ago. I don't even remember.
I had an agent through...
Like I went to a performing arts high school, and at the school, there was a theater program.
And to answer your earlier question, that's kind of the moment when I realized you.
When I figured out that you could make a living out of it.
As a part of the theater and musical theater program, they had a guest speaker who was an on-camera action coach, come talk to our class.
His name was Dean Armstrong.
And he, after the class, sort of, I can't remember if I went up to him or he came up to me, but I expressed interest in pursuing it more.
and learning more about this on-camera thing
and I started taking classes with him
he introduced me to my agent
and DeGrassey was one of the first
like first one of three or four auditions I went on
and I don't think
I got the role that I auditioned for
but then they wrote a character for me
Yeah
That's as good as it gets I think
when they say hey we're gonna we're gonna make a character
I really hope that's true by the way
It was so much like there's some sort of vague
something. I really hope
that whoever's watching. They're like, wait, no,
that's not what happened. In your story, they're like
they like to me so much they wrote something.
DeGrassey was the best, though,
and it's so weird
to think about because now you can go back
and watch all the old seasons, and I think
I even watched, like, after
it was on, they'd play it on, like,
teen Nick, but, like, the other
teen Nick, like, there were two different Nickelodeons.
It was a different network in Canada.
Yes. I really have no idea.
Right. Did DeGrasy feel
as big at the time when you were on it,
or did you start hearing about it more after you were on it?
I think, I mean, obviously in Canada,
it was like a legacy show,
so I knew that it was a big deal,
but similar to the thing that I was telling you about in Atlanta,
like it wasn't, it's not like we were being followed around in this in Toronto, no.
We also shot in like a suburb far away from everything.
It was, I think the moment I realized how big it was,
was when I got to the States.
Yeah.
It's a lot more popular here and more,
or at least people are more vocal about it here.
Yeah.
So, yeah.
Because it was such a wild show.
It was like, it was very head of its time for sure.
It really was.
It was like euphoria basically,
but back in.
Before, yeah.
But not on HBO.
Yeah.
And you can't really compare it to euphoria at all right now.
No, but.
Obviously a lot different, but like, there was just so, like,
every, you couldn't believe what was happening on every show.
I was like, this doesn't happen in my high school or my school, but it's happening in Canada.
Yeah.
And I do think like, you know, TikTok has been such a crazy phenomenon for these older shows because
people go and rewatch or they do podcasts about it or they make videos about it.
Like the amount of, it comes and goes, but like I have probably gone through Vampirey Diaries
start to finish like five or six times.
Oh my goodness.
And every single time.
I do that.
You know, my phone knows somehow, right?
Like, it always knows.
So my TikTok is always like people talking about the show or like, here's my, I'm showing my
boyfriend the show for the first time and they film him watching it.
Have you ever seen any of those of people rewatching or just like freaking out about the show
now still?
Yeah, I mean, I just recently got TikTok last year.
And yeah, I feel like I see a lot of that stuff a lot more and obviously gets catered to me.
Like I said the.
Exactly.
They know.
They know.
They know.
They know.
They know.
They know.
They know.
Like do you watch or do you just keep following?
It just depends.
Also, I have friends that will like send me things.
So I see some of it for sure.
But I remember when I first got on, there was this trend where they were like,
hi, your videos, she's on TikTok now, she can see it.
And I was like, what are they talking about?
Yeah.
What are they?
Like, is there something happening on here that I should be aware of?
Oh, my gosh.
Well, now we see that they do and we see tons of videos from them.
Also, these conventions and fans get to come out.
and so much of the cast gets together
and there was one that went so viral
because they were announcing,
I believe, your involvement in something down the line
or at the end of the year.
Yeah, I haven't been a part of one for over a decade
because I'm always shooting and busy,
but I'm going to go to my first one in almost over 10 years.
Right, so they like put your face up on the screen
and the crowd lost it.
They were screaming bloody murggy.
They were so excited.
So how excited are you to like get back into doing that and seeing those fans?
I mean, if the reaction is anything like it was in that video, I'm excited and kind of scared.
Super fair.
I was going to ask you, you're nervous at all?
No, no, I'm just joking.
No, it seems like that would be such a fun way to get together and see everybody still.
Yeah, I mean, it's crazy because like you guys mentioned between TikTok and the pandemic,
I mean, the show was on Netflix during the pandemic.
So people had nothing to do but watch TV.
And so whether it was people rewatching, like you said, or like, because I was wearing masks the whole pandemic.
And I felt like I was getting recognized on the street and in life way more than years prior.
And I realized that like a whole generation of people who maybe missed it the first time watched it now as though it was on the air currently.
Yeah.
So it got like a whole revamp, which was wild.
Which I think we keep seeing with shows like that.
And like France, I would TikTok.
It's like once there's a craze that happens, then everybody jumps in.
Yeah, for sure.
And that's definitely one of them.

You mentioned you are very busy.
You are traveling all the time.
You just said you got back from Greece.
You just love to travel.
I do.
I mean, who doesn't?
But I feel like you are traveling everywhere.
Yeah, I have a pretty busy.
I have a lot of points on the airlines.
Let's just put it that way.
Yeah, for sure.
I love it.
I love seeing the world.
I love immersing myself in different cultures, meeting new people.
It's, there's nothing like it, honestly.
Yeah, it's hard to pick, but do you have like a favorite and all-time favorite?
That is really hard to pick.
I have like a top five to ten.
How about that?
I would love to hear a top five.
Okay.
Give us all recommendations.
Cape Town South Africa is really high on the list, but also because of the safari that
going on safari and seeing the animals and just being immersed in the nature once you're there.
To just be clear, the safari is not in Cape Town.
You just go somewhere else for that.
For those of you who don't know.
And yeah.
Then there's Bali is incredible because it's like just very salt to the earth.
Like Bohemian energy beaches, beautiful people.
It's like, oh, I love it there.
Except I went backpacking in Bali by myself in my 20s and was so excited and it was super last minute trip.
And the part that I was like, oh, I'll meet people when I get there.
The part that I hadn't considered at the time was it like everyone's there on their honeymoon.
Nobody wants to talk to you.
Nobody.
So it took me a few days to find a group, but then I eventually didn't.
It was great.
Is Bali, tell me a real thing?
What do you mean?
Like, I see that everywhere.
That might also just be a TikTok thing.
Bally what?
Bally tummy.
Bally tummy.
Yeah, Bali tummy.
It was a long time ago.
I don't remember.
Probably.
Like, like getting sick because of the water.
Because it seems like such a beautiful place,
but then you have all the people.
people obviously because there's too much information on the internet sometimes.
And you're like, I'd love to go to Bali and then they're like, watch out for Bali, tell me.
Yeah.
They just don't want you to enjoy good things.
And I was going to say, I feel like that's one way to deter people.
Yeah, deter people from going to like the most beautiful place.
Right, because it's so nice.
They're like, stay away.
Yeah, no, I love it there.
I thought it was great.
I don't remember being sick there.
But a monkey bit me.
So I did end up in the hospital.
What?
Yeah.
Yeah, it was great.
I loved them.
Yeah.
It was a great experience.
Worth it.
Totally worth it.
It was a great story, though.
It was a great story.
But the only bummer was I had to have like a, not a cat.
He didn't break anything, but it broke my skin.
And so I had to get my rabies shot and then also have it wrapped up.
And I couldn't go in the wall.
So I had to like swim with my arm up.
Kind of cooler than getting bit by a shark.
Because one, just one arm, really good arm workout on one side.
To always have that.
Just ripped on the side.
Yes, exactly.
Your shoulders just shredded on the side.
But you're also always traveling with like these groups of friends.
And I feel like we see on social media just looks like so much fun.
We joked.
I mean, this was months ago now, but we had Zoe Deutsch in the studio.
And we were saying we were like, these trips you guys are going on look absolutely incredible.
It's just like how do you, I guess this is more just of managing friendships when you have that level of fame.
Like, how do you find your group of people that you feel comfortable enough with to really share those personal experiences with?
Yeah, I mean, I've known Zoe for so many years.
Our friendship has just been, you know, and she's always down to do anything and I'm kind of the same.
And so, you know, when that trip came up, I was shooting a movie in Greece.
So I, like, lived in Greece for four months.
And at the end of the trip, I had to go to the Cannes Film Festival.
and she was also going
so I was like oh while you're here
like we'll do this and like what if we went to the
Monica Grand Prix because we just watched Drive to Survive
we were obsessed with Formula One and we're saying
and so we're like we just added
that one and then we're like oh but there's this thing
like we just kept on dreaming
big and just be like what if we
what if we and then what we didn't
realize is that both Zoe and I are very
type A like we love a plan
and we love organizing things we're like so
and so between the two
of us like our dreams just like turned into
like a real thing and then we suddenly just didn't come home for two months.
It just like was an oopsie.
Oopsie trip that turned into like a crazy life adventure.
And I don't know.
She's just like so funny and deep and we have great conversations.
And she's very low maintenance.
And I don't know.
I think the world of her and we had the best time.
And another thing is that, you know, neither one of us have kids yet.
Right.
And I feel like as you get older,
the list of people and your friend group that you can invite places last minute on a trip
get smaller and smaller.
Yeah, that's true.
So, yeah.
Well, it looked incredible.
And everybody on the outside looking in was like, we all wish we could be a part of that.
Yeah, I think like every couple was like, you've got room for one more couple.
We're available.
We swear we're fun.
We're totally available.
But back to like, you know, we're joking.
You said you've just been on TikTok recently.
Sean's on TikTok.
It is very funny.
I feel like, yeah, like, I feel like he had viral posts, like, joking about watching vampire
diaries or, like, things like that that he hasn't done before.
Does he run by some of those ideas by you, or is he kind of like just posting on his own?
No, he's, yeah, he's, I mean, I think, like, there was one.
You know what I'm talking about it was a while ago, but I feel like it was so popular of him,
like, people asking him about watching, if you watch the show.
He's done a couple, though.
I don't remember.
Yeah, yeah.
Which one you're talking about.
I feel like there was a few where he had said people, because he did like, he was doing
Q&As and people like, have you watched Van Bariariari's?
Got it.
Yeah, he had.
Yeah, he had, he, I was shooting a movie in Canada during the pandemic when you weren't
allowed to like fly over the borders.
And so that's when he decided to watch it to sort of like feel like he was still with it.
I was like, I miss you so much to watch your grandparentries.
I don't know if that works.
I don't know how lucky that was for him.
Yeah.
Yeah, I don't know if I don't want to watch that.
Yeah, I don't think he knew before he started watching it
that my characters on the show
like hook up with all the other characters of the show.
And you also like come back as like three different characters.
Exactly.
Yeah, that's the thing.
Between all those characters, they like were a love interest to everybody.
Yeah.
So, yeah.
That's very funny.
What's next on your on your travel calendar?
Like, what do you have planned for this?
Summer?
So much.
Yeah, I have a lot.
There's a July 4th thing that we're doing with some friends.
I don't like talking about where I'm going next.
Oh, no, you don't have to.
I know.
We agree on that.
But you just, it's not safe.
I'm sure they're all beautiful places.
Yeah.
Some of them are just like more mellow, like cabin lake stuff.
Yeah.
And then summer, I'm going to a Formula One race out the summer somewhere again.
And then, you know, was.
supposed to shoot a movie, but with the writer's strike that's been put on hold.
Shout out to the WGA, support you.
I saw you on the front line with your picket on your Instagram.
Yeah.
It's important.
We did it a couple times.
Before I came to New York and before I left for the trip.
But, yeah, I think it's super important.
It's really great that everyone's sort of banding together.
Hopefully they get a result that they're hoping for a fair result.
Yeah.
And definitely.
Hopefully that happens soon.
In the meantime, we have great projects coming up for you.
Like I said, I think everybody is excited for the Outlaws.
Yes.
July.
Love a good comedy on Netflix.
July 7th.
Everyone can watch on Netflix.
