Starting point is 00:01:03 Or you could go for a stuffed bagel mini or a sausage egg. and cheese. Both. Nailed that one finally. Yes. Sausage egg and cheese. You add it on to your medium or larger coffee,
Starting point is 00:01:17 $2 stuffed bagel minis, $3 sausage egg and cheese, $1 classic donut. The answer is always yes. When you're walking into Dunkin and you think, should I add this on? The answer is always yes. So it's time for that one, two or $3

Starting point is 00:01:51 announcement. Our tour is finally here. We are announcing the dates and the places and tickets will go on sale next week for a couple of the cities. We are going to, well, it will. It'll be announced on social, but we're saying on the podcast. We are going to Dallas, Texas, May 4th. That is a Thursday. We are going to D.C. on May 10th. That's a Wednesday. Tampa, May 24th, Wednesday. Denver, June 7th, Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:02:27 Minneapolis, June 15th, Thursday. Awesome. All brand new cities that we have not been to for a show. And we are super. excited to see you guys there. Make sure that you are ready for these tickets when they go on sale because we've seen it before. Sometimes they sell out fast. I don't want to pat ourselves on the back too much, but sometimes they sell out pretty fast. You've got to be ready. I do get nervous with new cities. Yes. Yes. Yes. Does anybody listen to us in these city? Are two people there? But Dallas and D.C. will go on sale next week. So look forward to that. Monday. Monday. Monday.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Dallas and DC tickets will go on sale. Monday, noon Eastern. No, Eastern. Noon Eastern. Ready to buy. Ready to go. Before I to disclose, I think Dallas is a different time zone. Oh, that's true.
Starting point is 00:03:16 That is true. We're so excited, though. This is going to be so much fun back on tour, not straight through like we did the last time, the last spring tour. Yeah. But we are very excited. Taking some breaks. So much fun. I'm excited.
Starting point is 00:03:28 And for all those, I know, you know, there's a lot of cities out there. We're trying to get to a lot of them. These are all places we haven't been. that were heavily requested. And I have spoken to a lot of people in like the Atlanta, South Carolina, North Carolina area. That is high on our list for fall shows.
Starting point is 00:03:52 So if you're like, these stupid girls who show up won't come to our area, we're coming. We're coming. Hey, after I spend some time in Charleston, don't be surprised if that's on the list. Charleston is 100% making the list.
Starting point is 00:04:06 It's on the list for the fall for the fall shows. But I'm super excited about these spring shows. They're going to be a lot of fun. So much fun. And yes, we will have a fall tour as well. And we'll hit more cities. We'll try to change it up. Keep it fresh.
Starting point is 00:04:19 Keep it new. On our way to these cities. We're super excited. What's up with you guys this week, this weekend? Anything fun? It was kind of a funky week. Really? Yeah, it was one of those weeks where I was always a day off.
Starting point is 00:04:33 Interesting. Like I was like on Wednesday I was like it feels like Tuesday But Tuesday I was like is it It's just I was just Every day I kept telling myself it was a different day How I don't even know if I want to get into this conversation But I'm now here How do you envision the days of the week
Starting point is 00:04:48 What do you mean? You know how everyone sees the days of the week differently In their head Yes Like when does the week start? No no it starts When does it start? Monday
Starting point is 00:05:02 Or else I mean It starts It starts on Sunday, but I see it. My mind Monday. I see Monday. And I can't even describe how it comes up in my brain. You know what I mean? Like if you're looking at a calendar, obviously Sundays first.
Starting point is 00:05:16 Yes, but in your brain when you say the days of the week, what do you see? Everybody sees something different. No, it's not really, see anything. You don't see like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, you don't see them line up in your brain? I see the days of the week. I see the days. I see the letters. Oh, you see that?
Starting point is 00:05:38 Okay. Like I see like M, T, really? W. T. Everybody sees it differently. What do you mean? When it's brought up. It's just a thing.
Starting point is 00:05:45 I don't know what it's called. But everybody sees like the days of the week, months of the year differently. Some see it in like a circle. Some see it in a line. Some people see the words spelled out. Some people see letters. I see it in a line and the like initials of the days. Mine is like like it's so tangible.
Starting point is 00:06:05 It's so there, but I can't describe it. You know what I mean? No. But I'm trying to, because I'm trying to do my best to describe what I'm seeing. So what are you seeing? Exactly. It's like I see the full name. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:18 And I see them kind of lined up. It's indescribable. And they almost go back. Like it goes, it goes like this. That one didn't hit. No, I know. You're a throwback. I did.
Starting point is 00:06:33 It goes like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Imagine if you were like, I see Wednesday, then Thursday, then Monday. Mine kind of goes right to left instead of left to right. You know? Wow. Different. And then the month of the years, like something's in the middle.
Starting point is 00:06:52 I don't know, whatever, stupid conversation. But I was going to say, I was going to say that I'm going to Maryland for the first time this weekend, but that's not true. I used to go to Ocean City, Maryland all the time as a kid, and I would get hermit crabs. and then my hermit crab died. They didn't really have a long lifespan. Did you get the ones on the boardwalk? Yes, I killed mine by accident. Princess, Purple Shell, dropped her.
Starting point is 00:07:13 I think that happened to a lot of people. Done. Yeah. We held her funeral for her. Murdered. Outside my home. Dead. Princess. Purple Shell, though, pretty on point.
Starting point is 00:07:21 But yeah, I was, you know, I was upset, but I got over it pretty quickly. I'm, Easter has become a very low-key holiday for me. Is it for everybody these days? because my family It just comes and goes. Like I honestly didn't even have a, like I barely had a conversation with my parents about Easter.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Like they're in Florida and it was just like, it just went without saying that I was not coming. Like it was just like when I saw my parents last week when they came for J.B's party, my mom was like,
Starting point is 00:07:54 assuming you're not coming down for Easter. I was like, we haven't talked about it once. Like, no, I'm not coming down for Easter. Same thing happening in my, it's actually happening all across. Yeah, it's just like everyone's like, Because everybody's parents are in Florida.
Starting point is 00:08:06 So my parents are in Florida. Marty's parents are in Florida. And we're both not going to our parents. So then like our, both of our aunts are having stuff. Same. So we already had to make plans to go visit Marty's friends that live in Maryland. And then we all realized it was Easter weekend. We didn't realize.
Starting point is 00:08:25 Then we were like, oh, fuck. It's Easter. And then we're like, all right, we'll do something like a little cute little something on Sunday together. But he has risen. and nobody seems to care. It's just everybody has forgotten. Yeah, it just flies out of the radar. Easter slowly sneaking into one of those holidays that are...
Starting point is 00:08:46 And I'm guessing, like, I don't know if it's just one of those ones that, like, you care a lot when you're little and then it stops. And then, like, when you have little kids, then it ramps up again because, you know, you're doing the Easter baskets and obviously I'm naming all the superficial reasons why people care about. Yeah. the holiday, instead of, you know, the actual religious reasons for it. I still love the Easter hunts.
Starting point is 00:09:09 Yeah, good Easter egg hunt. Easter egg hunt, right when you wake up in the morning. Easter baskets. Money. Like, money. That is what Easter. My mom's making me a basket for this weekend. That's really nice.
Starting point is 00:09:21 I was with my parents last year. You just do it all. Yeah, I get Motsa. Yeah. You're getting your Easter bunny basket. You're well versed. You're getting your cats deli. I love some jelly beans.
Starting point is 00:09:33 Also, all the people I posted that I ordered Castellian, so many people are like, that's not kosher, like, blah, blah, blah. I'm like, I know. But it's just Jewish. Like, I'm not going to go get Mata. Although I love Mata. Well, that's because you just aren't like. I'm not that devout. You like to get into the spirit.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Yeah. Yeah, I was with my parents last year for Easter. My mom got me a basket, so that was nice. But this year, it's nice. Because you know what Easter is to me? Now when you get older, it's like, oh, summer. around the corner. Like Easter's like, oh, fuck, summer's about to be here.
Starting point is 00:10:06 What's bad for me is now like Easter gets closer and I actually am like, oh, Coachella's starting. Yeah, that's slipped my mind. It's always Easter weekend. But it's, Coachella's this weekend? Yeah. First weekend one, this weekend. People think, Franco, I mean, everyone's always like, oh, he's going to do this.
Starting point is 00:10:24 He's going to do that. Like, people are like anticipating like a drop of some sort because they're like, is he just going to play the- Maybe I'm wrong. I think Easter weekend is next weekend and the weekend after. Yeah, yeah. Wow, I'm actually surprised because normally they do at Easter. But maybe Easter is kind of, maybe Easter is kind of early.
Starting point is 00:10:38 Easter's a little earlier this year. So it's actually not this weekend. Actually, yes. Coachella weekend one is starting April 15th. Easter is early this year because Easter last year was on the 17th or the 16th of April. Yeah. And it's 10 days earlier this year. Rividing.
Starting point is 00:10:53 Yeah. Crazy how that works. Yeah. He has risen. Yep. And everybody forgot. And we're just. And everybody forgot.
Starting point is 00:11:01 I know. All right. No big. for plans. Let's get into the rest of the show. We got the weekly watch report. Tom Schwartz went on Watch What Happens Live, which was must watch and everybody's talking about it, including all his castmates. We have one more thing and a great interview with Jake Shane, aka Octopus Lover 8 on TikTok. That was included in our one more thing a couple weeks ago. And now he's here and he was amazing, so much fun. Great interview. So let's get into it starting off with Weekly Watch Report. Welcome back to the weekly watch report where we talk about the things we watch this week.
Starting point is 00:11:46 Do do do. Weekly watch report. Weekly watch report. Bringing you all the things we watch this week in our weekly watchport. Our weekly watchport. Yeah, our weekly watchport. Bringing you all the things that we watch this week in our weekly watch report. Before I tell you what I watch, though, proper wild.
Starting point is 00:12:08 This segment is presented to you by Proper Wild. clean all day energy giving you that morning boost the long day the late night it's there for you it's clean it doesn't have all those additives that make you all jittery like some energy drinks to do proper wild is there for you a nice little quick little shot to give you that energy so go to proper wild dot com slash bar stool for 30% off your first order all right i'm going to bring out my list couple things on here let's see let's see what really said good overlap so we can discuss tournament champions season two that's a solid day i would watched it as soon as I went home last Thursday.
Starting point is 00:12:44 I love that you went back to the early. I don't know why I did that. There's a reasoning why I didn't go one and there's a reason I went two. Can't remember why. You can always go back and watch one. I could. I had to buy the season on my Apple TV. I had to buy.
Starting point is 00:13:00 I invested. Food Network is what, like, can you stream anything? You need like the live TV version of Hulu, which I don't. have. I'm not poor. I just have cables, so I don't have the live TV version of Hulu. Right. So Tournament of Champions
Starting point is 00:13:20 Season 2 given a solid A. Antonio LaFaso and Food Network Go you got that? No, but maybe I could have downloaded it. Either way, I invested in it and I have no problem paying my money towards this amazing show. So Antonio LaFaso
Starting point is 00:13:36 and Jetteila going up against each other, not once, but twice. in a sudden death match because of a tiebreaker was everything I could have dreamed of in this season. It's a dream. So that gets a solid A. I watched Murder Mystery 2. I wanted to watch.
Starting point is 00:13:52 I requested this this week. I said, Joe, you want to watch this? And he said, oh, let's save it for the weekend. Yeah, I enjoyed the first one when it first came out. And this one was fine to me. Like, whatever. I'm going to give it a...
Starting point is 00:14:06 Like somewhere in the middle. C plus. Yeah. I'm giving me a C plus. Because I was locked in. C plus is pretty good. I was locked in. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:13 I'm not going to lie. I remember I also liked the first one. Forced me to tell the truth. I didn't hate it. Yeah. I enjoyed it. It's just like a movie that doesn't, it hurts no one. You know?
Starting point is 00:14:23 It's harmless. Besides the people who die in the movie. Right. Yeah, yeah. Okay. This gets a little dark. Surviving R. Kelly, the first episode of the newer episodes that came out because remember surviving R. Kelly, part one and two, came out years ago, 2017, 2018.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Or 2018, not 2017. And that's, I kind of would help push, you know, him getting put on trial. They came out with four new episodes, like an update. Oh. So I watched the first episode. What is that on? Netflix. Oh, well, I didn't see that.
Starting point is 00:14:53 I'm not going to grade this because it just feels wrong. It just goes without saying that R. Kelly is the dirtiest piece of shit. There is, just an absolute monster to society and genuinely disgusting. Yeah. I is despicable. And his fucking brother pissed me off in this first episode. His brother was in jail and then comes on,
Starting point is 00:15:16 does this documentary. And he's like, my brother may be guilty of some things, but he's not guilty of sex trafficking, racketeering, all this stuff. Well, yeah. Why are we going to listen to you? We're not. I understand having to,
Starting point is 00:15:33 I mean, I don't understand having to include people who are defending him. I actually don't understand that. but if you're going to get R. Kelly's brother to do the documentary, you're going to get R. Kelly's brother to do the documentary, I guess. Like, just shut up. Like, it just was like rolling my eyes. Yeah. He's, R. Kelly's so awful. So I'm not going to grade that one, but I did watch the first episode. It's very dark. It's very sad. Okay, moving on, something lighter. Succession. Yeah. Fantastic. Episode two.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Episode two. So good. I definitely like the first episode more than I did the second one. I will say. I still very obviously very good but I think this felt like much more of a like things were moving a little more fast pace maybe in the first like this second one I was a big like setup episode
Starting point is 00:16:21 obviously for what's going to go down like with this deal Succession episode two is getting an A for me it would have gotten a B plus but it's getting an A for Logan's speech to the company You skipped A minus Oh um well yeah that's how much it got pumped up that's how much that speech popped up. When he was like, you're, we're fucking pirates. I was like, oh my God, I can't wait to go to work tomorrow. Like, I was like, holy fuck, because it's Sunday nights and you get ready for Monday. I was like, I am waking up early and getting my ass to fucking work tomorrow because I am not letting Logan down. Like I took that as I now work for him and I'm a fucking pirate. I also loved, I love the scene of Nicholas Braun telling Carrie about the, about, about,
Starting point is 00:17:07 how her tape like wasn't. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's like, you're doing something with your arms. It's a focus group. I don't understand the Kerry storyline with Logan and Kerry and Kerry. I mean, they're just, Jerry has been like, Jerry's been like cut out of the show, which I am watching and I'm like, okay, the scene where Jerry and I forget the guy's name are clearly making fun of Carrie's tape
Starting point is 00:17:32 and they like close it down and he's like, what are you guys laughing at? Jerry doesn't say a single word until the very end of that scene which I think is implying something and doesn't really talk at all in the season and then when he... When Logan said like don't. Yeah. Then when he said to gather everyone he said no Jerry. So something obviously happened
Starting point is 00:17:53 and I like Jerry so I'm a little... I think they're just all in tune on like who's telling people what. Like I think maybe he thinks Jerry like tells Roman things vice versa but now like what's what's Roman going to do I am firmly on Logan Tom and Greg's side firmly I'm firmly planted
Starting point is 00:18:17 on their side yeah well to be honest like I think I would like the idea of the kids more if the kids weren't so fucking annoying sometimes like I think Romans hilarious I think Roman's so funny I think Roman's the only one that deserves good things to happen Shivin and Kendall, no.
Starting point is 00:18:36 She's the worst. They're awful. I want Roman to join. I want Roman to fuck them over and join Logan, Tom, and Greg. Yeah. Power group. Yeah. Power group if he went over there.
Starting point is 00:18:47 I'm firmly planted on their side. And man, that speech got me pumped up. So that's an A. Then Love is Blind episodes 5 through 8. I wrote notes on. So I'm going to whip those out. Six through 8. Six through 8.
Starting point is 00:19:02 which was interesting because they only put out three episodes they went by fast yes 6 through 8 I have notes I'm just going to read them and then we could talk based on what I wrote down because they're kind of not written full sentences yeah Kwame and Chelsea make me so uncomfortable Kwame clearly doesn't want to be with her
Starting point is 00:19:21 when they were talking about meeting Chelsea's dad Charlie not Charles they had that little go back and forth She said my dad's name is Charlie. Kwame said, oh, cool, Charles. And she said, no, he goes by Charlie. And then he goes, yeah, that's my dad's name too.
Starting point is 00:19:44 How was that not the first thing out of your mouth? When she said, my dad's name is Charlie. And he said, oh, cool, Charles. Also, how do they make it that long without knowing that their fathers had the same name? Well, that's what I'm confused about. She said my dad's name is Charlie. It's been weeks. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:59 You haven't mentioned what the name of your parents are? It's bizarre. My dad's name is Charlie. Oh, cool, Charles. No, he goes by Charlie. Yeah, that's my dad's name too. Why was that's my... Oh, my dad's name's Charlie.
Starting point is 00:20:11 Oh, that's my dad's name. Not the first thing out of your mouth. Kwame is... I am not a fan. I am not a fan of Kwame. He gives me bad vibes. And did you see... No, he gets fucking hearts in his eyes
Starting point is 00:20:22 every time he sees Micah. It's bad news. Kwamey was on Married at First Sight. I saw those TikToks. Kwamey was spotted in some episodes of Married at First Sight. So he is a thirsty motherfucker. he's not looking for love he's looking for
Starting point is 00:20:35 third and clout and I want to be on TV and I don't care that your dad's name is Charlie Chelsea deserves Chelsea deserves better than him Chelsea is like a Chelsea seems so pure and that she just like really truly
Starting point is 00:20:50 wants to get married and like have a family but she's the thing is Chelsea truly wants to get married have a family but she's like settling for anybody to fit into that role she's not looking for love she's looking for I want anybody to the part as my husband and dad and that's it. She's going to fit into my family. I think she does think that it is him.
Starting point is 00:21:08 Well, she should rethink that because he's not it. And he does not like her dog. That's very clear. He doesn't like the idea of walking her dog three times a day before she gets home from work. Yeah. He mentioned that. Also, he ended up on this show, then he ended up on a show that like, everybody lives in Seattle. He lives in Portland. Yeah. It's like that goes back to being on married at first sight. People were like, oh, it's made by the same production company. or something. Yeah, I have, so it's like, what, do you get a call back for Love is Blind, Seattle? A couple people were not from Seattle. Micah lived in Scottsdale. There's another person lived in Portland. There's a couple of them. So it was confusing. That's the whole point is that
Starting point is 00:21:49 they all live in the same fucking city. Yeah, I saw a TikTok that was like, oh, we do this for couples who are in the same city, so it works. And then it was like, so and so it's from Portland. This person's also from Portland. And this person's from, lives in Scottsdale. So bizarre. But he her dog is so cute snuggles up but he doesn't like the dog doesn't like the responsibility of having the dog he kind of tells that to chelsea and chelsea's like well i want six kids and he's like what like he doesn't even want the dog so they're they're just not going to work out um arena cannot be trusted when micah sits down with her couldn't be more uncomfortable she cannot be trusted zach is a nice guy but a weirdo oh wait one more note about quami and chelsea the lecture conversation is
Starting point is 00:22:32 was really uncomfortable where he was saying like you lecture me all the time. They were going back and forth about who lectures who most. It's like, why are you lecturing each other? You're in a relationship, not one's the fucking teacher and one's a student. Lectures are weird.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Arena can't be trusted. Zach is a nice guy but a weirdo. Jackie is ruthless and Marshall is a nice guy. But Jackie is ruthless. And I've seen people like really turning on Marshall. which was interesting. And I can see how they would, I can see that from the episodes,
Starting point is 00:23:07 but like I don't think Jackie is like the innocent party. Here's my takeaway on Jackie and Marshall. They're just not compatible. Yeah, yeah. They, Marshall is a calm guy and easygoing and like whatever. And he had some of those lines where it was like, okay, that was mean. Like he was like when he called her a project. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:23:26 Yes. Yes. I wrote Project not good. Yeah. You cannot. You can't call her. You cannot call your significant another, a project. There's some funky vibes from him.
Starting point is 00:23:36 I think he really like tries to sell that nice guy's story. And he's like, I can, like, I'm that guy. I want to be that guy for you. I'm going to cook for you and be that guy for you and show you what love is and help you and all these things. But it's like, is he really doing that to help her just make himself look good? Right. And also, everybody can work on themselves as well. Like, everybody can have a little work done.
Starting point is 00:23:59 Jackie is not the only one that needs work, you know, to grow. Everybody has room to grow, Marshall. So you are not the, you're not at your fullest form like you think you are. At the end of the day, I just think Jackie's like not very sexually attracted to him. Yeah, I think, yeah, I think she's sexually attracted to what's his face. Josh. Yeah. And bad fucking vibes from that guy.
Starting point is 00:24:19 Such bad vibes for Josh. Oh my. Not even just like I was just on an annoying level. He came into that party and everyone was like, never a good sign when you walk into a room and everyone goes, oh, not that guy. Everyone sighs. Everyone's like, oh, not this guy. Jackie wants a little Josh, because Josh, I guess, screams, like, bad boy to Jackie,
Starting point is 00:24:39 but he screams just, like, gross boy to me. Yeah. So I'm, Jackie and Marshall are not going to last. They're not happening. I hope Jackie and Josh don't last either if that's a thing. I saw some TikToks, too. I know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:57 Yeah. Okay. I don't think, yeah, Jackie Marshall, Jackie is ruthless towards Marshall because she clearly does not. She's clearly not attracted to him. She's not in love with him. And she's projecting that. And then being like, oh, I love you. It's projection. She doesn't want to be with him. And Marshall has to find somebody he's more compatible with. Yeah. Last note, Michael's friends are God awful. I was going to, I was going to say this better be about Lorenz. The blonde girl was just Irene with blonde hair. She was one of the meanest people I've seen on reality TV. Like straight up, awful. Awful human being. From my point of view, she, you know, maybe in real life, she's a little different. But from what we saw.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Yeah. She came off very... And if you surround yourself with people like that, the fuck is going on in here. All right. Is that a voo-vozela? What the hell was that? Trombone? If you surround yourself with people act like that,
Starting point is 00:25:58 from her. The other friends seem so much more like, oh, like, we'll support you or whatever you want to do. And, like, I get it. If you want to be the friend that's like, but when she was like, you know how many boyfriends I've driven away? Like, there have been, or like, guys that I've driven away, they've been bad news. And, like, even when she was crying being like, I just want the best for you. It's like, well, you're doing it in and not very nice way.
Starting point is 00:26:18 And honestly, you don't want the best. You're jealous and you're a miserable. You're not going to even say the word, but you are miserable. And you are not looking out for her. you are trying to stop her from getting, if you've driven every boyfriend of hers away, maybe you're the fucking problem. Having that attitude in front of Paul as well
Starting point is 00:26:38 was just like extremely rude. It was so rude. Listen, if you want to have those thoughts and he walks away and you want to tell her, okay, go ahead. But you are literally looking this guy in the eye thinking you're above him, looking down on him, talking down to him.
Starting point is 00:26:51 I get wanting to look out for your friends. Of course, everybody should look out for their friends and if they think someone's no good, you met the guy for five minutes. At the end of the day, you don't really know him. Yeah. So to say that, and are you proud of driving everyone of Micah's boyfriends away? Are you proud of that?
Starting point is 00:27:08 Because to me, you're either jealous of her or you want to be with her. Yeah. Which one is it? Because you're freaking me out. She was not nice. And Micah, Micah needs to surround herself with some better people because she's putting on this, like, nice girl face with Paul's mom.
Starting point is 00:27:24 And it's like, oh, she seems so sweet. But if she's friends with Arena and she's friends with this girl, it's like, you know, when you look around, you're like, eh. I think she's one of those girls that you know the type. Like when you get solo, they're very nice. But when she gets around her mean girl friends, she then becomes also a big girl. She like reverts back into being a mean girl. Yeah. Yeah, I don't like it.
Starting point is 00:27:50 It's like she can't, because it does seem like one on one, she seems very, very. Very normal, very nice. But then it does feel like, I feel like maybe when she gets with this group or like when she was with Irina, like she just fed off that energy. And instead of like keeping the good energy, just joining in on the bad energy. And she could have spoke up and say, hey, don't talk. Don't talk to my man. Like, Micah, you don't have to listen to everything your friend says.
Starting point is 00:28:17 Your friend is not you. If you like this guy, then you like this guy. Oh, my God. Awful energy, but really entertaining. And she obviously did get bad vibes from Irene after the conversation with Paul to like she was talking to Bliss about it and Bliss is just like Bliss clearly is like
Starting point is 00:28:33 Irene is a bad person. So Zach and Bliss are engaged. Yeah I don't To be honest I have so not interested in them as a couple. Yeah like I They're so It's unfortunate because like it's literally reality TV But I see them and I'm just like
Starting point is 00:28:52 You know what? Those two? they love each other. That's none of my business. Yeah. You do you. I'm like, I don't really want to watch them. Like I, Tiffany and Brett, I like, Chelsea and Kwame have all the drama.
Starting point is 00:29:09 Jackie and Marshall drama. Micah and Paul, you're kind of like, do they, do these two even really like each other? And Zach and Bless them, like, they seem like they really do like each other. But this is, this is, they're not riveting reality. TV people. One of those couples where they get each other but I'm not going to get them. Right. They can just, they can ride off. I'm not going to hang out. They can write off into the
Starting point is 00:29:33 sunset together now and I'll just, I'll wave and say good luck. Yeah. I'm just well wishes. Yeah, yeah, I agree with that. I'm going to give these episodes. They were not as good as the first five or the three, four, five, I thought were the best ones. I thought the, I thought, I can't get enough
Starting point is 00:29:51 of Chelsea and Kwame's awkwardness and then fair. Well, Chelsea's birthday party was good. Yeah, I can't get enough of Josh and Marshall. Yeah, it's very uncomfortable. Yeah. I'm going to give this a B. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:04 I'm going to give these episodes a B. And that's all I watched this week. Wonderful. I watched a lot of the same stuff, so I'll just add on to that secession. I'll give a I think I'll give a B plus. Definitely another phenomenal episode,
Starting point is 00:30:18 but the show's so good that I feel like I got to mix in. The episodes that I'm not like, yes, I think I have to. Logan's speech didn't make you go yes. No, I loved. And I really liked Greg's joke about Santa being a hitman. I thought that was a great joke.
Starting point is 00:30:38 But Shiv just fucking piss me off during the whole episode. And honestly, the karaoke scene was so good too. Like, it's just, when they're all in a room, it's just magic. Like, I just want, it sucks because they are divided so you don't have them all together as much. But when the group is all,
Starting point is 00:30:55 Oh, nothing is better. Nothing's better. And this may be a hot take. Connor could have been written out of the show entirely. Yeah, I, yes. I actually find, I do somewhat agree and somewhat disagree. Connor is a good, like, piece of white bread to mix in with the rest of the story. Funny occasionally, but, like, could do without you.
Starting point is 00:31:16 Yeah. Love is Blind episodes. I will give a B. and what else did I watch Summerhouse Summerhouse I'm given a C minus I just I'm struggling a little bit with Summerhouse right now
Starting point is 00:31:36 I know the second half is going to be more the Lindsay Danielle drama but it's just like there's nothing else going on besides Lindsay the Lindsay and Danielle conversation really it feels like They're dragging it out Corey's there now
Starting point is 00:31:51 is fun. I guess we'll see the beginning of him and Sam's relationship because they are dating. I think, you know, maybe that caused some drama with Sierra. Real House shows of New Jersey, I'll give a B. Good episode. I like the energy the new girls are bringing.
Starting point is 00:32:09 I'm they're losing me on all the, it's just starting to get like a little, every episode with the Melissa and the Melissa and the Joe and the Teresa and the Louis. It's just like non-stop. But Louie wears their dad's pajamas that night. I know, I know, I know.
Starting point is 00:32:27 And now, but I am excited for them to go to Ireland. That's going to be, that's going to be a very interesting trip. Dolores went on, which honestly got a lot of flash. She got a lot of flag. Dolores went on Watch Happens Live and Andy was like, you look great. And she was like, thanks. Then he was like, OZem-Pick. And she was like, yep.
Starting point is 00:32:45 I mean, respect for just saying it, obviously. Like, but it does seem like, like, is there a housewife? that's not on it. She said the whole show is all on it and she was like, I'm not going to show up bigger than anybody else at the reunion. I'm like, that's a tough, tough mindset to be selling to the public.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Like that should not be the way we should be thinking, but clearly that's the way she thinks about it. Right. And listen, like, it's very housewives. That's just how she should be. You know, like, that's how she thinks. So whatever. I'm not going to get in cell of her.
Starting point is 00:33:16 In my mind, I'm also just like the best teachers out there. or not the real housewives, you know? No, no. Like, they want to look. Yeah. How they want to look. And if in her mind, she feels best, if she looks a certain way, then you do you.
Starting point is 00:33:32 They're not the moral authority that we're looking to. No. Margaret's talked about it too. What else did I? Oh, Yellow Jackets. Season two. Episodes one and two I watched. I loved the first season of Yellow Jackets.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Thought it was so good. Season two, I'm hoping things start to shift a little bit. It's getting, it's very mythical, I guess, maybe is the word for it. Like, we're really getting into, like, the witchcraft. Interesting. Which, you know, Lonnie was like, Lottie was like. I didn't watch Yellow Jackets. You never watched Yellow Jackets?
Starting point is 00:34:21 No, I never. I never like, did you watch Yellow Jackets Yeah, but I can't really remember that much better. Oh my god, okay. Well, and I'm talking to the wall here. But basically, you know, you premise fucking soccer team, playing crash, the whole thing. And the way they ended, the first season was not like, oh, wrapped in a bow, here's how they all like actually got out. So it's still, season two is still like cutting back from old version of themselves or, you know, current version of themselves and then like high school version of them.
Starting point is 00:34:53 themselves. They're basically picking up so you're learning more of like what really started to happen when things got bad when they were in the lost cannibalism. Like where we're really and there was definitely a lot of parts where I was like watching like in between two fingers. I was like, ugh. Like it's it's tough. So it's intense. It's not, I wouldn't say necessarily like bad, but it is very intense. And I'm not like, I'm not, I didn't love, love, love it right off the bat. the first season started off more as like oh, plane crash, what happened? They're stuck now that it's like,
Starting point is 00:35:31 now season two is just very dark because it's like now survival mode and people are dropping and re-eaten people. There's just a lot going on. There's like cults happening, witchcraft. It's a lot. I'll give it a
Starting point is 00:35:48 I'll give episodes one into a B-minus. Still good. It still has my attention But I'm not like It didn't immediately pull me in As much as the first season pulled me in Ted Lassau Episode 4
Starting point is 00:36:03 Long episodes like the longest episode of Ted Lassow I feel like episode it was like 50 minutes Which I very much liked I'll give that a B plus I love Ted Lassow It just is one of my faves And I think that's That's pretty much it That I mean I watch other stuff
Starting point is 00:36:20 But not gradeworthy so I'll leave it at that I had a mix of good and bad this week. It was a lot of bad. I started off good. I watched the new movie Tetris. Oh, with? Taryn Agerton. Oh, on Apple TV.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Yeah. Honestly, I thought that was a show. It's a movie. That's a movie. Oh, good. And I didn't even know about it until I just saw it. And it was a, it was good. I used to love Tetris.
Starting point is 00:36:44 I think it's not even about the game as much as it's about everything surrounding how it was made, which I had no idea, like, the Soviet Union and all this, like, was involved. interesting story and he's good and I feel like everything he does. Give that a B plus. Solid movie. I watched this, I guess, documentary, not really, but like about rap. They like highlight different rappers and different episodes on Hulu and Tyler the creator had one called Rap Caviar.
Starting point is 00:37:11 It's on Hulu. Solid. Came out years ago, right? No, no. No, there's a new. I don't know if it's just continuing to be new, but this just came out. I was promoting it. But I'll give it a B.
Starting point is 00:37:21 I mean, like, I already knew every. everything in it and there's nothing like groundbreaking. Or a big fan, yeah. Yeah, but it was entertaining. I watched that show accused. Give it a C. 10 and 11, episode 10 and 11. It's just like entertaining, but it's not great. It's not bad.
Starting point is 00:37:37 Then I went on a run of terrible movies, which I'm getting from TikTok. Like, you know when you scroll TikTok and there'll be like a random clip, like part three of like a movie? And I'm like, I just get buy in and I'm like, I'd look it up. And then I want to happen. It happens all the time. Same. And, you know, a scene came up from a movie I auditioned for when I was younger called Trust. And it was directed by David Schwimmer.
Starting point is 00:38:02 And it was the closest besides the other movie I actually got, the closest I had gotten to, like, getting, you know, something. Because I was 12 at the time. And I auditioned for it. And I had callbacks for it. And David Schwimmer was, like, on the call, like, watching. He wasn't there. And I just remember it so vividly because the girl that they ended up casting was older than I was. And it made more sense because it was like a girl who like gets, starts talking to a guy online and meets up with him at the mall.
Starting point is 00:38:34 And it's one of those type of movies that like you see like the scenes. And they never like say the movie. It's like man stuck in cave like part three. And it's just like the weirdest scenario. But I get like I get curious. It's like half of my TikTok. So I. Most of the ones I see are Lifetime movies.
Starting point is 00:38:52 I saw one and it was called, well, I found out it was called Open Water where... I've heard of this. Yeah. Basically, these people are just... So they go out into the middle of this ocean, they go snorkeling, and then they stay down there longer than the rest of the people. When they come up, the whole group and boat had left. Like, they went back to shore, but they're just in the middle of the ocean alone. I think I've seen this.
Starting point is 00:39:18 It's entertaining. So the whole movie is just like them being stranded in the ocean In the open water Yeah and but Yes I've seen this movie Yeah but bad But bad good D plus but entertaining That's why I'm watching like I don't go into these movies off of TikTok
Starting point is 00:39:35 Me like oh this is gonna be like Yeah That's Oscar winning movie Wow you know they made three of them Okay so yeah I watched I didn't know three but I watched the second one Which is the original one I saw on TikTok Open Water 2 adrift and open water three Cage Dive
Starting point is 00:39:48 Okay I didn't see cage dive but a drift one is with uh what's his name from euphoria and grace anatomy mix mix me or whatever uh really uh yeah oh eric dane yeah so he the second one which is original one i saw on ticot i watched it out of order then um the second one was even worse but also like just so ridiculous that it's entertaining where basically they're on this boat and eric dain's character uh one of them is afraid of water everyone else is in the water it's just eric dain and this girl the girl is afraid of water he picks her up jumps into the water and then realizes he didn't put the ladder down on the boat
Starting point is 00:40:22 so they can't get back on the boat. There's a baby on the boat. That's it. So they're all just stuck in the water. And they're in the middle of the ocean. That's the second one. Open water, the first one has a 71% of on tomatoes.
Starting point is 00:40:33 The first one was better, but it wasn't, I still think it's terrible. I think I've seen, I for some reason feel like I've seen all of these movies because I have a very vivid memory of watching this on the couch with my parents and me being captivated by the fact like,
Starting point is 00:40:46 oh my God, fun like couples trip, like whatever and then they get stuck in the middle of the ocean and then you have to see what happens. I bought the second one on. I was like, this is so bad. Well, Open Border 3, Cage Dive came out in 2016. I guess I'll watch that next week. And then another one of these stupid TikTok movies.
Starting point is 00:41:03 Landmine Goes Click, this one is called. Another D plus. I think you have to censor some of these out of your report card. No, who cares about this one? Listen, if you want a bad, good movie, watch it. I'm sorry, what's it called? Landmine. goes click.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Landmine goes click. So basically, so it's like, this is my, bomb goes boom? No, no, this is my, I'm scrolling TikTok and this guy
Starting point is 00:41:27 found out his best, it's his guy, his best friend, and his fiancee or whatever. They're about to get married like in two days. I just have to Google the husband finds out that his best friend.
Starting point is 00:41:40 Oh my God, Sterling Knight is in this movie? I guess. I know who Starling Nitis. But the, his best, he finds out his best friend cheated on him.
Starting point is 00:41:48 on him or his girlfriend, his fiance, she's on him with his best friend, both there. He has this whole elaborate plan. He tricks his friend into stepping on a landmine that he placed there for taking a picture. And then he's just like, yeah, like, see ya, leaves his friend and his fiancee, he's standing on a landmine.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Then this crazy guy, I don't want to spoil the movie, but this crazy eye comes and is like, it's wild, it's terrible. This synopsis, not synopsis, but it's, this is literally like what the description, of the movie is, so I don't really think you're giving anything away. If people are not, are dying to see this one, I don't feel bad about spoiling this.
Starting point is 00:42:26 Trapped standing on an armed landmine, an American tourist is forced to watch helplessly while his girlfriend is terrorized and brutally assaulted. Yeah. That's quite the, I can't say that one's pulling me in to watch. The clips, I know exactly what you mean. I haven't fallen into, like, buying the movies I've seen, but I have seen a lot of these clips. I've seen a lot of these clips. of these clips on on my tic-tok and i go should i watch this movie no no it's a lifetime movie
Starting point is 00:42:54 like i'm always like no don't fall into it don't fall into it they always have the you know the videos where like it's not you don't hear the audio the movie but it's some like robot narrating it i've watched those too but then i'm like i gotta watch it's like his friend like blah blah yeah yeah uh okay but yeah but yeah that those three were the ticot movies but i mean they're entertaining like if you're like high and you're just like oh that's what you watched No, I have some more. Okay. I watched the movie downhill with Julie Louise Dreyfus and Will Ferrell,
Starting point is 00:43:25 which was the, like, American remake of the guy who did Triangle of Sandus. I can't think of his name. The director, he made the original movie. You've seen it. You know the movie I'm talking about where like an avalanche comes and Will Ferrell's character runs away from his family. Yeah. It was fine. Like, it wasn't good.
Starting point is 00:43:41 And everyone says the original one is 100 times better. I'll get this one, C-minus, because I like all the characters. I like all the actors in it. I watched Succession, Episode 2, A-minus. Just solid, like all around. Last night I watched this movie called Rye Lane on Hulu. It's a new... Rye Lane?
Starting point is 00:44:02 Yeah, it's a new rom-com on Hulu. I saw that on my homepage. It's said in London, British. Good movie. Good movie. Very, like, artsy rom-com, like almost a little bit too artsy. Has a 98% of Ron tomatoes. You've got very good reviews.
Starting point is 00:44:18 Very artsy, like the way it's shot and everything, which is cool. Yeah, solid movie. I'll give that a B-plus. Yeah, 90. Good news, rom-com fans. Anyone looking for a smart, funny, and heartwarming new addition to the canon can find it waiting on Rye Lane. Yeah. And you should watch it because it's all in London's, you know.
Starting point is 00:44:37 You got to prepare. Yeah, I mean, that sounds. And then last thing is I watched the first two episodes of Dave, season three. Oh, yeah, I'm excited to start. Last night. and I was surprisingly happy because I didn't love season two at all. I like season one, didn't like season two, and then season three so far, I'll give it a B.
Starting point is 00:44:59 What I like about Dave is I feel like the show, I feel like season one and season two were so different. They were so different. That it's like if you didn't like one of them or liked one better, my mindset going into season three, I was like, who knows what this could be? It could be anything because season one and two are so different from each other. It was like season three could be like season one. It could be like Csidoo, it could be like something totally different.
Starting point is 00:45:19 I like the more like entouragey type of like, this is his life and like interacting in the cameos and like just trying to make it. The whole like artsy, I just didn't think that was for him. Like Donald Glover did that with Atlanta. I'm like, I don't know. Just give me celebrity cameos. But this was the first two were cool. He's like filming a music video and it's about now he's like, now it's like he's made it.
Starting point is 00:45:41 Like he's famous. Yeah, yeah. So it's cool. I'm excited to watch that. That's it. All right. All right. That's all we watch this week. Spring is sprung just in time for new rowback gear.
Starting point is 00:45:53 Roeback performance hoodies are quite possibly the softest hoodies when paired with the performance joggers. We don't think it's possible to have a more comfortable combo. It's perfect for that in between spring weather. It's been all over the place in New York. You know, it's cold on Monday. It's 75 degrees on Thursday. You don't know what to wear. The performance hoodies.
Starting point is 00:46:13 The joggers are great for layering. They're that super light but comfortable material, so it's great in between seasons. They just released new women's joggers. They are super soft. They're functional, versatile, comfortable, stylish. These joggers check off every box. The best part is we've been spying that subtle dog logo and the two-stripe bridge on the back all over the city. So we know that we are not the only ones that love them.
Starting point is 00:46:38 I see people wearing Roeback all the time. So transform your spring with Roeback. Use the code chicks on Roeback.com for 20, percent off your first order of performance scorts, joggers, and hooties. That's R-H-O-B-A-C-K-com. 20% off with the code chicks. All right, let's get into the big topic
Starting point is 00:46:59 we want to discuss today is Tom Schwartz was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Wednesday night and made a complete fool of himself in every sense of the word. So much so, all of his castmates are coming out to talk about it. Andy Cohen has made faces the entire time, who is
Starting point is 00:47:18 Tom Schwartz's PR? Nobody, clearly. He does not have a person I think he's a one-man show. There's no way somebody's working directly for Tom Schwartz because this man would not go and watch what happens live and spill out every single detail
Starting point is 00:47:30 of everything that's going on the way that he did. So to recap, he did know about Sandoval and Raquel. He was informed after they had slept together for the first time in August. He has known
Starting point is 00:47:46 But she said he didn't know when Sheena and Brock got married because that was also in August. So he said he didn't know at the wedding but knew after. Yeah. So he has known this whole time. He said that Raquel. It wasn't linear though. Yeah. What?
Starting point is 00:47:59 He kept saying that. He was like, it wasn't linear. It wasn't linear. And he was on the show with John Owen Lowe. And he looked at him and was like, what? You keep saying linear. Like, what does that mean? Like, it's very, very, he was very bizarre.
Starting point is 00:48:15 he said that Tom is in love with Raquel. Raquel is Tom's heroine is the word he used. He also admitted that when him and Tom went on vacation together, that Schwartz invited Joe and then Sandoval snuck Raquel into that little vacation. Smuggled Raquel into that vacation. And that if you see Tom Sandoval on the street to stop and give him a hug because he needs it right now. And he said, you know, he may be a piece of shit, but he may need a hug right now. Lala said give him a wedgy.
Starting point is 00:48:50 His ending statement was so fucking funny. Andy was just looking at him like, what the fuck are you saying? Katie stepped in and was like, you need PR. Katie said he needs media training, which he just went on there. He can't keep doing these interviews and just have no idea what he's doing. He spilled everything. Andy was probably so excited. Andy was like, yes, I got him, this idiot.
Starting point is 00:49:12 end on he said not only did he say he knew about the one night stand in August he said Sandoval told him about the full blown affair and that he was in love in January Right January And he's just like
Starting point is 00:49:27 And they tried asking him like Has this secret like hurt your life or anything He's like no I just kind of have my own And he's fair Like I had my own stuff going on Which is totally totally fine But
Starting point is 00:49:39 they were like There has to have been instances where you had to cover this up in the last couple months. He used the term like open secret, which is just like not true. What does open secret mean? It's like, I feel like open secret is like, it's a secret, but everyone's kind of thinking.
Starting point is 00:49:57 Open secret is happening. I mean, open secret isn't, what's the term? Is it an oxymoron? Like it doesn't make any, they don't go together. Open secret, I feel like he meant like it was hidden in plain sight. Like they were being very obvious about it. Right, right, right. Yes.
Starting point is 00:50:12 and people, I guess, weren't catching. But now everyone's saying that they had ideas. You know, Sheena said that she had some ideas. And Lala said that she has some ideas. He was really playing with fire. Like he was like, he was waiting to get caught, you know? So I think it was, I think it might have been Lala. One of them was talking about how they had mentioned it to Katie.
Starting point is 00:50:36 I mean, to Ariana. And said, and Ariana was like, no, there's nothing going on. Yeah. Because she had just trusted that, trusted them, just trusted that there was nothing going on. Just all around fucking bizarre by Tom Schwartz to do this. I know. He made himself look even worse than he already did.
Starting point is 00:50:55 I know he said that, um, that Sandoval had a plan and he was going to tell her. And that, you know, he had tried to break up with her many times. And, like, this is what Sandoval is telling Schwartz. Right, right. Like, this is coming from Sandoval, like, oh, I tried breaking up with her, like, so many times. Like, do we know that for sure? Absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:51:21 Were they maybe in a rough patch in their relationship? Totally. Could be possible. They kept talking about how, you know, they weren't having sex like that. Okay, fine. But you can't use that as the reason. Like, that doesn't justify having an affair with her. And they lived in the same house.
Starting point is 00:51:39 and Raquel's one of their best friends. Like, it's, it's, if you tried breaking up with her, don't you, like, wouldn't she go stay somewhere else? You know what I mean? Like, at some point, maybe you guys wouldn't be living in the same house if that was the case or, because I think it came out that he had said, not that he had, well, Schwartz said something different, but that he had said he was going to break up with her,
Starting point is 00:52:02 but then never did. Just very, very bizarre showing from Schwartz here. I know. And I also loved in the after show. He said they were asking more about like, because during the actual episode, he and Katie had dinner in Mexico. And he was like saying that he was like, I think I was a good husband. And Katie was like, what? And like he. So they kind of asked him like, why were you so like hesitant to always, to not defend Katie in a lot of these situations?
Starting point is 00:52:35 And he was like, well, you know. back of the day she was like she just kind of like ruined every relationship she had like she was a monster and then he's like she's different now and like and then he was like love you
Starting point is 00:52:54 and literally John and he and John and love are looking at each other like what is this guy saying and John like he's like you just called her a monster he was like I did no no no no I'm not a monster not a monster and I'm like and he's like love you like I was like angel angel He's like, I mean, Angel.
Starting point is 00:53:10 I'm like, oh, my God, are you okay? I mean, he also showed up with fucking weights around his wrist because he heard people are playing tricking games about how many times he touches his face. So he's trying not to touch his face. It was unhinged. The whole thing was unhinged. The guy clearly is, does not, has never worked with the publicist
Starting point is 00:53:30 or if he has, fire them. Yeah, I mean, if this is truly Schwartz, then boy, oh boy, this guy's got some work to do. He was, it was a massacre. It was a massacre and it was everything we wanted us if we were. And Andy Cohen wanted it as a host. But I am sure nobody's fucking happy with Schwartz. He said that Ariana eviscerated Tom and Raquel.
Starting point is 00:53:58 And he said that Tom took most of the blows. Raquel took some blows, but Tom really just got ripped apart as, as one should. Yeah. And it really was that last. like closing line of like Tom I know he like he fucked up but just give him a hug like nobody wants to hug him
Starting point is 00:54:16 nobody wants to hug him I get it you can tell you can want your friend to like not be getting death threats and whatnot like it's obviously people go way overboard when it comes to things like this and that's very fair I think that's fair to say like you know some a lot of the times it crosses the line
Starting point is 00:54:34 but we're not we're not out here hugging Tom said all in the streets. Go give him a hot. No. I don't think that's happening. No. So there's that.
Starting point is 00:54:43 God bless Tom Schwartz. That was something. Our friends at Manscape are here with a deal you just can't look past. Starting point is 00:55:42 That's 20% off and free shipping with code Chicks at Manscape.com. Hop into the best deal of the year with Manscape. All right, one more thing before we get into our interview. My one more thing is this TikTok is going viral about the Barbie movie
Starting point is 00:55:59 on what the plot could be and because of the last episode I mentioned how I don't know what the plot is. And it's The Wizard of Oz. Yep. TikTok. where there's a lot of references to Wizard of Oz, the Yellow Brook Road, you know, Dorothy, she, there's no place like home. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:14 Kind of what you said, like Barbie goes into the real world and wants, and she finds out that the real world ain't so great, she wants to go back to Barbieland. Yeah, I was talking to Jeff DeLo about this as well, and we were kind of bouncing off ideas and he was saying that it wouldn't be surprised. And I wouldn't be surprised if this is the direction they took it in either if it was like Barbie. goes to the real world to like complain about Barbie if that makes sense or like the ideas around Barbie I don't know it could be like or like Barbie
Starting point is 00:56:48 like Barbie's so respected in Barbie land but when Barbie gets the real world she's not very respected right right yeah yeah yeah so hey we'll have to wait and see because that is the point of the way they are releasing these trailers my one more thing is did you see that J-Lo came out with a drink.
Starting point is 00:57:11 No. A cocktail. Canned cocktail. No. I believe it's canned. It could be bottled. It's called Delola. D-E-L-O-L-A.
Starting point is 00:57:20 So I think that's how you say it. But it's like a take on like her nickname. I guess at this time she was called Delola. It's a lower calorie alcohol line named after her carefree fun side, which apparently is Lola. And she's kind of getting ripped apart for it because time and time. again when she is asked about like you look so amazing what do you do your skin you're you look 20 you're 50 like the whole thing she says she doesn't fucking drink yeah and like so everyone was like oh you're slapping your name on another way to make money it's the A rod way of doing this i've never
Starting point is 00:57:58 heard she she doesn't drink i've heard her say she doesn't have sugar or anything like that so when when i heard jalo i think i have heard her say she does not drink when i heard jalo cocktail i thought not interested if it's going to be all this healthy mumbo jumbo. Yeah. So, yeah, so I guess it's, there's three different ready to drink spritses. They are supposed to be like less alcohol, supposed to be like a glass of wine. She is, she's a Leo. So she put two lions on the bottles.
Starting point is 00:58:29 Ben and I are, oh, they're both Leo's. Oh, they're both Leo. Interesting. That is interesting. He's instructing me as a Leo. Yeah. People were also kind of. set because they were like, oh, your husband is an alcoholic, and you're coming out with an alcoholic drink.
Starting point is 00:58:46 Real supportive. That was, I saw a lot of commentary about that too. Listen, she's just trying to make a box. So, like, her Instagram comments are interesting, it's interesting because, like, there's obviously the top ones. And then it's people being like, I thought you didn't drink. She doesn't even drink. Get that bad girl. This doesn't fit her narrative at all.
Starting point is 00:59:04 I thought you've openly talked about not being a drinker because of how bad it is for you and also your husband's in recovery. This feels like such a weird move for money. Ah, capitalism strikes again. Yeah. So honestly, I would say a lot more negative comments than positive from when she announced this. It's an interesting move.
Starting point is 00:59:24 And I get it like she is a businesswoman. She makes a lot of money. She's got a lot of brands. But when you do something like that doesn't totally, like, I just feel like there's certain things that everyone is like, oh. Alcohol brand, put my name on it. Like there's so many celebrity alcohols. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:44 J-Lo didn't need one. J-Lo didn't need an alcohol brand. J-Lo could have went with like an avocado oil. Yeah, totally. Or some kind of fucking juice. Yeah, healthy treat. Yeah. Alcohol.
Starting point is 00:59:57 Smooks. Like a fucking canned smoothie or something. I don't know. Like whatever sugar-free, dairy-free, whatever the hell she's doing. So I thought that was kind of a funky move. And honestly, people were not totally happy with that. I'm going to be interested in sales on that one. Yeah, definitely.
Starting point is 01:00:16 That's it. If you're looking for a fun weekend activity, head to Top Golf. It's so much fun. It's a great experience. You can go. You can play golf. You can order great food. They have all these different games that you can play while you're in the bay.
Starting point is 01:00:34 So it doesn't matter, like, you know, your level of golf play. if you're good, if you're bad. It doesn't matter. You can play all these different games with your friends. So if you don't golf, it doesn't matter. Everyone can play top golf, even if no one can golf. It's the only place you can play around and then order another or hit a slice and then grab a slice. It has all the fun of outside, but with the comforts of inside, comfy heated bays in the winter and cool bays in the summer.
Starting point is 01:00:59 I have been to the one in New Jersey. Had a ton of fun. You go with a big group of people. You know, Saturday afternoon. Hopefully you get nice weather. but it doesn't really matter because if you're inside, outside, it does not matter. It's covered, so you're good to go. And you can play all the games.
Starting point is 01:01:15 You can have all the great food. So it's golf. It's not golf. It's top golf. Download the app, Book of Bay, and come play around. All right, everyone, we are here with a very special guest. We are joined by the lovely Jake Shane, aka Octopus Lover 8 on TikTok. It was not too long ago where we were talking about you on this show.
Starting point is 01:01:36 It was Franz. one more thing where she mentioned she was obsessed with your TikTok. Do you know how many people sent that to me? Sorry, I just interrupted me. No, no, no. Hey, we love interoper. We interrupt this already. No. Hey, we love interruption. Everyone sent that to me. It was like, oh my God. And I was like, what is happening? Listen, we love a talker. And I got introduced to you through friend bringing that up. I'd seen your videos come across my page, but I like, you know, now I'm fully in like...
Starting point is 01:02:01 Sometimes when you need to do like a deep dive, you see people on your 4 you page, you're like, oh, I've seen that person, but like you're just kind of scrolling. And I was posting a lot, which people, though, people are like, he kind of came out of nowhere. I was like, no. Like, I was posting, like, because my, because, like, people would have to be like, all right, Jake, come on. It was like 18 times a day. Because I wouldn't use, like, it's not going to happen.
Starting point is 01:02:19 I wouldn't use the story function. And people were like, some, like, four or five people were finding it entertaining. So I was like, man, might as well. Like, whatever. Like, I would literally post, like, just watch the Hunger Games. I don't want to be Katness. And that's, I wouldn't even, and I'm so OCD, like, I really bad OCD. So I wouldn't even have the energy to do a caption.
Starting point is 01:02:36 I would just post it. Yeah. But then when I started doing the comments back to people and like reenacting stuff, that's when I really took off. So that was genius. I mean, when I first, when she was explaining it to me, I was like that is a good idea. I was like that's a genius idea. Like it's just everything I wish I could have came up with. So how did you come up with doing that?
Starting point is 01:02:57 I didn't. I saw Julia Fox do it. Julia Fox was like very seriously acting out like things that people would comment. Just like scenarios. It was scenarios. and I was like celebrating 60,000 followers. And I was like for 60,000 followers, like, let's play my favorite game, which is the one she invented, I guess.
Starting point is 01:03:14 And she invented. And I was like, okay, like comment something and all acted out. And someone commented to do Bill Clinton, like denying Monica Lewinsky, his affair with her. And I was like really high. And I was like looking up how to speak like Bill Clinton. I was putting an effort to this. Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:33 I love that. So much. You were acting. And I was like, yo, I don't have the energy to do this right now. But, like, I promise the pussies I would do it. So, like, I got to do it. And I just looked in the camera. And I was like, no.
Starting point is 01:03:46 Like, I didn't do that. Sorry. Like, I'm the president. Like, I don't know what you want for me. I literally didn't do that. And I just, like, there was no thought behind it. And it did kind of well. And I was like, oh.
Starting point is 01:03:56 And then with TikTok, what I noticed is, like, with all, because I have so many different bits I do. Yeah. I just throw whatever at the wall. If it sticks, I keep throwing shit. So I was like, okay, I'm going to do it again tomorrow. And then, like, I wasn't, like, they were, like, doing all right. And then I got home and I was like, okay, I'm going to do this one comment. It sounds funny.
Starting point is 01:04:14 It came to mind. It was like, do Paul Revere, like, telling people the British are coming. And so I was like, okay, like, I'm going to smoke a little and, like, sit on this. So I smoked a little and I was like, mm-hmm. So I was like, it came to me. I came to me. I am going to, like, invite my friend to a party and tell him the British are coming. I'm like, he should come.
Starting point is 01:04:30 And that one really did well. Yeah. And I kept running with it. And then my roommates got home. And I was like, you guys, let's keep doing it. Like, I was on a role. Yeah. I was just on a role.
Starting point is 01:04:39 And then they thought it was so funny. So they were, like, laughing really hard. And then, like, I guess the combination of, like, them laughing and just, like, the whole ridiculousness of the situation just kind of really blew it up. Like, the next day, like, my roommate, Brett call me and was like, Jake, like, you're gaining a lot of followers. And I was like, oh, oh, my God. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:04:57 Like, like, what? Like, like, I, like, wasn't really, because you can't, you can't process it in the moment. Yeah. Especially because I'm on, like, antidepressants. It's like everything is like, I don't know what's going on. You're numb to it. I was like, oh, like, okay. And it happened in truly like five days.
Starting point is 01:05:09 Right. Like it was like all of a sudden I was like, when I first was talking about on the show, I was like, he has like, we're at hundreds of thousands here. By the time this episode comes out, it's going to be like double. And it was. It was crazy. And I was like, we celebrated 100,000. All my friends came over.
Starting point is 01:05:24 We hung out. It was really sweet. It was honestly like the best night ever. Went to Bad Bean. Like, great. I'll hit 200,000 in like a month or two. Right, right. And I woke up to $150,000.
Starting point is 01:05:34 And I was like, oh, no, I'm making this my new thing. Yeah. Like, I'm going to be like, I'm celebrating every day. So every day, I would go on live when I was like $5,000 away and just celebrate with people. Or I would like, do a dance for it or just like, I made it like a whole interactive thing. And I didn't really know how invested people were in it, honestly. But then I hit a million. And I was like, what now?
Starting point is 01:05:55 Like, what do I do? Like, I don't know. Such a good idea. You are hilarious. And I think what you mentioned. recommendations. Yeah, and I think people love sending their ideas. Yeah, it's great. I get my ideas from my audience. Yeah. It's amazing. And what you mentioned about your roommates laughing in the background definitely adds an extra layer because I know whenever I watch something on YouTube, like a podcast,
Starting point is 01:06:18 comedians and they have their producer and their producers like cracking up at what they're saying. Like it just adds like, oh, we're all in this together. Because you're breaking the, what is it, the fourth wall? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're breaking the fourth wall. It's like feels more real, I guess. I don't know. And it's like, it's nice. Like, and I can always tell. house. Sometimes when I'm not sure about an idea, I'll have them film it. And if they don't laugh.
Starting point is 01:06:37 A, if they don't laugh, B, if it's like a, I feel bad for him laugh and I don't want him to think this isn't funny, I'll be like, I'll look at them and then they'll just be like, yeah, it's not working. And I'll be like, yeah, okay. You need that honesty though. You got to stay sharp. I did one the other day.
Starting point is 01:06:51 I was like, this is going to be it. This is going to be amazing. I'm like doing it. And I didn't hear, I think Brett was filming. I didn't hear her laugh for like a solid minute. And I just stopped speaking. I looked at her and she was like, yeah, no. I was like, okay, cool.
Starting point is 01:07:01 I was like, just maybe a different prompt or something. And I was like, okay, cool. You mentioned, you know, you can't prepare for something like this. It all just happens overnight. You know, your millions. And now celebrities, with Jonas Bathers. Yeah. But like connected so many celebrities. So many celebrities.
Starting point is 01:07:18 They're duetting. Jenna Dewan. She did a dance. That was crazy. Lea Michelle was a good one. Liam was, I was a huge glee. I was like, no fucking way. That's insane. And then you got connected with Alex Earl, which everyone was talking about. How did that happen?
Starting point is 01:07:31 Okay. So her roommates followed me when I like didn't have many followers. So they were like, because, you know, we're similar in age. Yeah. And, you know, she like, we played a bit of Jewish geography, I think is how like we all just kind of like had some mutual friends. And so when I blew up, Alex and I followed each other. And because I think she, I probably came across her feet. Probably thought it was funny.
Starting point is 01:07:52 And not, I mean, obviously what happened with her was to what happened with me on steroids. Right. But it was still kind of maybe. be like a similar experience at a similar time. And again, obviously hers was no so much more than mine and so incredible. But I think I don't know how she felt. I felt it was nice to talk to her and like go back and forth. I don't know. It just felt like, oh, like you're also new to this. But you're also like crushing it. And then we went to an Amazon dinner. And I knew she was coming into town. So I texted her and was like, are you by chance going to this Amazon dinner? She's like,
Starting point is 01:08:26 yes, I am actually. And then we were sitting far apart from me. each other but then I text and I was like I want to go to the bathroom. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's where the magic happens. Her and like her friend went to the bathroom and we like hung out for a bit and then after she was like, do you want to like come up to my room and hang out? We can just like chill like outside of like a, you know, like professional setting. And I was like, yeah, and we chilled and we really hit it off.
Starting point is 01:08:46 We just were really hit it off. And she was like, do you want to get lunch tomorrow? And I was like, I'd love to get lunch tomorrow. Like, so we got lunch and we just, it felt very natural. It felt very, we got along really, really, really, really well. Yeah. It was just like we were similar people and like she's just the nicest person ever. That's so nice because I feel like a lot of people, especially when you're like a young girl and you get all these eyeballs on you.
Starting point is 01:09:14 Like your head can get pretty big, pretty fast. And you know what I like about. And it was like that was so cool that I feel like she is not like that. She's not like that. And for a similar reason, like she, her best friends are still her best friends. Yeah, which is what I've done as well. Like my, like, I'm like, my best friends are my best friends, like, no matter what happens. And, like, that's, and she does the same thing.
Starting point is 01:09:34 So it's like, sorry Brett can't hang tonight going out, going out with Liam Michelle. No, literally, Brett would be like, okay, I'm coming. Yeah, obviously. Because at the same time, I know that none of this would be possible without them. And I know that. Yeah. And so it's like, you know, it's like, I don't know. It's all felt like such a beautiful, like, friend.
Starting point is 01:09:53 Oh, we're going to look back at this and, like, tell our kids, like, do you remember that? Because it really feels like a community thing. with all of us, like this is happening for all of us. Like, yeah. It was so exciting. Yeah, it's really nice to have somebody to relate to because it is such a weird thing. It's not, it's not normal. It's not normal.
Starting point is 01:10:06 Have that many people looking at you and waiting on your every move and you guys have that right now. It's amazing, but it could be weird. I struggled with that at first because my stuff that I used to post would be like, I don't care. Like, whatever. Like, I'll do whatever. Like, I don't care.
Starting point is 01:10:22 But now I'm like, ooh, okay. Like now I'm like, all right, well, now I'm here. and I have a lot of followers and I'm like, I don't want to post something stupid and annoy people and like have like, you know, be like, oh, you post too much because that's what I used to do. I used to post so much. Just be yourself. I know, I know.
Starting point is 01:10:39 That's what everyone says. You're hilarious. That's why everyone followed you. Stay true to yourself. Yeah, I'm trying. I'm trying. Um, what is the origin story though for the account? Because now I feel like people just like call you Octopus. Right. So I'll tell you all. That's not your name.
Starting point is 01:10:57 But it's like, where did the name come from? So basically, I was just a big fan of octopus in high school. Like, my mom took me to get it once, like, after we saw a play together, because they grew up in New York. Oh, like, actually eating octaves. Yeah, and I was like, this shit is really good. Yeah, slaps. And I never really got it a lot because my parents kind of, like, like, why I wasn't working and my parents kept me on a strict budget. So I, like, you know, this is expensive.
Starting point is 01:11:23 You're not just going to go out to eat and get octopus. Yeah. And then so when I started, you know, like, working. and like saving my money properly, especially during COVID, because I wasn't going out and spending it recklessly. I honestly had, I was like, oh, I can, like, go out to, like, a nice Italian dinner every once in a while and get octopus. And I would get it with my friends.
Starting point is 01:11:42 And my friend Drew likes to abbreviate everything. So she was just like, oh, my God, like, puss, puss, puss. And we would just take photos and send it to each other and be like, puss. And then me and my other best friend, Alice, would, like, go to this place called Chikonis. And we were like, they have the best fucking puss. So it became a thing with us Like we would all be like Puss, Puss, Puss. And then like
Starting point is 01:12:00 We'd order it and be like Alice and I would always be like, okay, like we're each ordering our own Puss. So we would order each order our own Puss. We would say that to the waiter. Oh my God. And they'd be like, okay, so they knew us there. It's like, whatever.
Starting point is 01:12:12 And then I was like, God, one day I should make something called past the Puss where it's like past the plate but it's past that. What the heck was that? Passing the Puss. Yeah. So I was really hung over one day.
Starting point is 01:12:25 And, And I was like, God, the only thing that will make me feel better, or you know, when you're just like on that hangover high and you're like, Scarys haven't hit yet and you're kind of like... You're still drunk, but you're not. Yeah. I'm like, I'm just going to do pass the puss right now. So I make it. And then pass the puss is taken. So I'm like, who took that?
Starting point is 01:12:42 Yeah. That was weird. What kind of puss are they passing? Yeah, I'm like, can I have the username? Like, whatever, I'll just do pass that puss. Thank God it wasn't taking it. It had a better ring to it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:54 I made it. And everyone started texting me like, what the fuck are you doing? And I was like, okay, so I'm deleting it. And then I was at my friend's mom's birthday dinner. And I was like just talking about it because there was octopus there. And all the adults thought it was really funny. And I was like, huh. Okay.
Starting point is 01:13:07 So maybe if like the adults think it's funny, like this isn't such a bad idea. So I just, I did it. I remade the account. I posted the puss. And I was like, we're back. Like octopus reviews. It was really just for my friends and I. And then I remember people started being like, that by the way, your stuff is really
Starting point is 01:13:23 funny. because I wouldn't even do videos. It would just be captions. But I would everything, it was, it was so nice because I, like, built it with everyone watching me build it. It was like, you know, I didn't have it all figured out. Yeah, it was like, everyone felt like they were part of it. Like, I, like, remember when I got 200 pussies
Starting point is 01:13:39 and I, like, freak the fuck out? And I made, like, a past the plate graphic, but past the plus I had, like, my friend of Avey do it. And, like, I was like, ah. And then, like, I just, yeah, and then I started doing videos. And people were like, wait, that's funny. You should bud.
Starting point is 01:13:53 should keep doing that. And then I was like, okay, like, I should, like, greet them some way. So I came up with hi, pussies. And then I came up with tense up. And then after I came up with tense up, I came up, okay, you should say hi, Jake, back. And, like, it was just such a friend effort. And it was, like, all of us. And then my friend, Brett also has a food account.
Starting point is 01:14:09 If I want you to follow up, Brett's bites. I feel like I might as well. Yeah, absolutely. She's amazing. And she and I would just, so she would obviously like to go out to restaurants for her food Instagram. And I would like to go out for Octopus. And so we made it like a thing.
Starting point is 01:14:25 For that good push. For like four months straight, like three times a week we would do it. And like just not thinking about anything else. And like just do it and it was just so fun. And then I took it to TikTok and it kind of moved. And I tried to make my name past that puss. And they banned it. So I was like, I read Octopus Lover with two S's because like I have to.
Starting point is 01:14:44 Yeah. And so that's where Octopus Lover 8 comes from. Yeah. Because eight tentacles. And then I took it to TikTok and it kind of moved a little. And then when I started doing like stitch videos. and just like random videos that like showed my personality, I guess, like those I would see do well. And then I just started posting, posting, posting, posting, and then, you know, it took me like from, well, it really started, once I hit 10,000, which was in December or January, I hit 10,000 in January.
Starting point is 01:15:11 And I was like, oh, my God, this is like, I'm getting like a hundred K in January. It's been four months. It's crazy. It must be really validating, though, because you know when you have an inside joke with your friends, like Puss is an inside of your friends. and you guys think it's the funniest thing in the world. But you're like, if anyone heard this, like would they think it's funny? Right.
Starting point is 01:15:27 But they do think it's funny. Like now you know that everyone thinks your inside jokes are funny. Exactly. Everyone wants to be a member. It's a Puss University. Yeah. So then I- Everyone's in on the inside joke.
Starting point is 01:15:37 I started coming up with like different factors of it. Because I was because people were so responsive and I would really like, I made it like my whole life. Like I would really interact with people. And then so for graduation, for graduation, I'm going to make merch. Why not? Yeah, yeah. I love your merch.
Starting point is 01:15:52 Thank you. I've been amazing, amazing, amazing designers named Dylan who I, he's like, he's fucking incredible. And so we've been doing it for a really long time, I guess, since last May, really long time. Yeah. Talking like I'm like on like, I mean, at this point it kind of feels like with the way things are moving. It just feels like it's been a long time. But so we came up with merch and I was like, this would just be fun for graduation because it encompassed so much of our senior year, like, past that post. I was, we should all just do this.
Starting point is 01:16:20 and people really, really, really, really liked it. Like, people were like, oh, my God, I want your merch, you want your merch? And I'm like, well, I don't have anymore. I was like, man, I should make more. So then I did Puss University. And then, like, I would do giveaways and it was really fun. And it was just, like, a fun thing to, like, interact with everyone. And then once I blew up, I was like, okay, like, now I think I could maybe, like, sell it.
Starting point is 01:16:41 And it sold out. And it was just crazy. That is so crazy. Are you an East Coast or West Coast guy? Well, I'm from the East Coast, but I live in the West Coast. Okay. How long, where are you from? Okay.
Starting point is 01:16:52 I was born in L.A. I moved around New York. I moved to New York when I was two and then moved around. I lived in Park Slope for two years. I moved to the suburbs for six years. And then ended up in Washington Heights from seventh to twelfth grade. Then I went to USC. During COVID, my parents followed suit.
Starting point is 01:17:11 So we sold our place in Washington Heights. They moved out to Los Angeles or we rented an Orange County event and then they settled in Los Angeles. Do you have siblings? I have a younger brother. Okay, okay. Everyone's always like, what does he think? I'm like, well, he texted me and he said, congrats. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:28 That's about all you're going to get from my younger siblings. I was like, he'll miss you. He goes, miss you too. Congrats on the TikTok success. I was like, thanks. Yeah, like, that's pretty cool. I was like, you want some PR? I got a bunch.
Starting point is 01:17:38 It's sick. That's so cool. I'm so happy for you. And now you are doing something with the Jonas Bellars we heard? What's that about? Because we saw the back and forth on TikTok. So I woke up to Nick just duetta and the diet. Phenomenal acting on both sides.
Starting point is 01:17:55 Right. They're amazing. And I'm like, so I'm like, I by the way, can't watch myself. I, okay. I mean, we don't like to watch ourselves either. I don't. I can't. Sometimes I'll like.
Starting point is 01:18:06 So you post your videos then you're like. No, but like I want, I like monitor it. Yeah. I'm like just like an anxious poster. Yeah. But I pause it. When I click it, I pause it. So I can read without hearing.
Starting point is 01:18:18 I cannot fucking hear it. Yeah. I hate the sound of my own voice. I like can't. The only thing I do like listening to back is my friends laughs. Yeah. Because I'm like, ugh. I like love when they laugh. So it's like that's what I like hearing back. Yeah. But yeah, I can't watch myself other than that. I'm like, ugh. So you wake up, you see Nick Jonas has made the video and you have to, I mean, now you have to listen to yourself. Yeah. So I'm like, okay, so I'm like, okay, I'm like, I'm freaking out. I'm like, okay, I'm going to make like a video just on spot being like, what? And then I was like, okay, well, now I kind of want to play off of this. So I, like, made a video later that day, like, responding, just keeping it going,
Starting point is 01:18:55 not thinking anything was going to happen, but, like, kind of just, like, put, like, again, throwing shit out the wall and being, like, hopefully the sticks. And then I was DMing with him, which was crazy. And I was like, because we were both referring to a higher up at Coke named Scott, who, like, approved all this. Right, right, right, right. Yes. And I was, like, in my head, I was like, I really want, like, one of the other brothers to play,
Starting point is 01:19:18 like Scott. So we were talking. I was like, thank you so much. Like, how funny would it be that? Like, if someone did Scott. Someone like, Joe. You need to chill. And then like he messaged me the next day being like, okay, Joe's, by the way, Joe's
Starting point is 01:19:30 doing Scott. And I was like, plan. It worked. It's like cast a full blown musical like production. And then after Joe did it, Kevin just did it really fast after he was cherry Coke. And it was just. And then now I'm going to meet them later, which is crazy.
Starting point is 01:19:47 That's so much fun Like what is happening So are you Were you a big Jonas Brothers? Huge. Oh my God It was the biggest like Disney kid Like oh my god
Starting point is 01:19:56 Love Bug Yeah Come on Like the biggest I mean so it's like what What's gonna be the reaction Like let's Why don't we act out
Starting point is 01:20:05 Omni Jonas and you're you? I think I'm just gonna be like Oh my God Hey You go in for the hug right away Like I always go in for the hug I'm always like, yeah, and I just meet you. Because I get really shaky.
Starting point is 01:20:20 So when I do like a high five, like my handshakes and I'm like, oh, I just. Yeah. Or I like a good firm handshake with like if I'm like ever meeting like an adult, I'll like, like, like that because like you're squeezing my hand and not letting it shake. You know what I mean? So I'm like, but like other than that, yeah, I'm probably. Hug lets them know that like like you're friendly. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:39 And they're, I feel like, oh my God. I just, I don't know. I honestly can't believe. Do you think they're going to want to like obviously do some maybe more videos, some more content? I know. I think everyone would love that. They're firing off on TikTok.
Starting point is 01:20:51 Yeah, they're doing great. I said whoever, like, is running their social media plan. Like, they're just, I feel like they're, they have, like, a quota of, like, guys, you've got to be posting, like, TikToks every single day because they do a good job. They do a great job. Joe's are great. Joe's are great. But Joe's are great.
Starting point is 01:21:06 Yeah, they're all, like, and then do you see Joe DJ at that set the other day? Yes. Did see that. That was insane. I want to go to a set like that. Yeah. I always see Fred again do that. I'm like, that looks fine.
Starting point is 01:21:16 Yeah. But I'm not like- Doing all these like pop-ups I know But I like don't think I'm the type to like I feel like I would just be like I'm sweaty You just gotta dive right into it
Starting point is 01:21:25 Yeah that's what I'm thinking I went to one after they did their Broadway shows And he DJed the after party And it was It was everybody was freaking out It was hot Yeah And packed
Starting point is 01:21:37 Wait and for Fredigan or the Jonas Brothers Braves in general For Joe Jonas. Yeah I went to Coachella My freshman year of college And I was like Whop
Starting point is 01:21:45 What is happening here? Are you going this year? No, I'm not going to be here. No, it's never been. I went once. I went once and I'm like, I don't ever need to go again in my opinion. I went twice. Unless there's somebody, like an actual, like an act that I'm like, I need to be there for that.
Starting point is 01:22:03 I went twice. I went my freshman year of college and then obviously was going to go my sophomore year because I went to USC. So that's like a thing. Like everyone goes. And COVID happened. So obviously sophomore junior year didn't happen. Then senior year, it was like the first time it happened.
Starting point is 01:22:17 I was like, oh, I'm obviously going to go. Who was headlining? Oh, my God, Phoebe Bridgers. Oh, my God. Oh, my, I was on shrooms. Yeah, yeah. I was on shrooms. I was, I was sobbing.
Starting point is 01:22:32 And keep in mind, when you're at a concert in L.A., by the way, like, everyone's sometimes, it's not like, it's like a little, like, you know, like, you're like always, like scared. I don't know, it's just like a little anxiety. Like, everyone's always, like, kind of, like, not fully. I'm always kind of scared people are like looking They're a little more buttoned up Yeah
Starting point is 01:22:48 And so I was just Cotella you're just hysterically sobbing And my roommate Brett was like Yeah And Julie was like Aw And I was like
Starting point is 01:22:58 I don't know I think this It's the only way to do it I had that moment for When I went Lord performed And I was just like I was just
Starting point is 01:23:11 Looking at my friends I was like She is unbelievable I talked, like, I was the only thing I really talked about. It was, that was like the biggest thing. But it was, I ended up seeing Phoebe multiple times after that because of that.
Starting point is 01:23:22 I've seen Phoebe three times now, once by accident, because I saw the 1975 and she came out. Yeah. I was like, oh! I was like, so excited. Just brings you right back. Are you guys Phoebe fans? I do like her.
Starting point is 01:23:36 She starts her sets off with motion sickness, and it's like the strum of the guitar. It's just like evokes. Oh my God. I hope everyone experiences it. She is one of Taylor's opening acts for the New York shows. Yes, she is. You went?
Starting point is 01:23:50 Do you went, right? I went in Las Vegas. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Are you guys Swifties? I am, yeah. I'm a huge Swifty. Like, die hard, have seen Miss Marikana like 13 times.
Starting point is 01:24:01 Like, you know, 13. Like, but I really have. Like, we watch the movie and I think she starts out by playing piano and the cats on there. And we, like, quote it. We always look at each other. And we're like, she starts with the diary. And, you know, like, we're like, just know where it goes.
Starting point is 01:24:14 But I had never seen her live before. And so I got tickets on, like, the day Ticketmaster crashed. And I was on the site and Ticketmaster crashed. And I was like, what? And then, like, I was, like, ramping up for 2 p.m. And I was on for 2 p.m. We were all on FaceTime. And, like, somehow I don't, I was just.
Starting point is 01:24:30 You made it through. You were one of the magic ones. We got row two. You were one of, wow. Ro two. I just scrolled in, looked in, nothing. And then suddenly three popped up. And it was me and my two roommates.
Starting point is 01:24:40 Yeah. Click three. And I go, try, buy them. buy them. Buy. Bye. Bye, go, go. Bye, bye, bye.
Starting point is 01:24:45 And my mom was like, wait, what? Because I was like, can I put this on your car? I'll pay you back? And she was like, sure. And then like, oh, she was like, okay, so like, how much was it? Like a few hundred. And I was like, yeah. Yeah, sure.
Starting point is 01:24:56 That's when you look, my sister's friends did that too, where it was like they bought, because they do the ultimate, whatever the hell they're called, the fan tickets where they, like, they jack up the prices. They jack the fuck up out of the price. So my sister and her friends, too, they were like, whatever it takes, like buy them. And then they were all kind of like doing. And I literally think it was like her friend's,
Starting point is 01:25:18 her friend's brother or something was the one that like got the code and got in. Yeah. And so the friend's brother was just like, I guess I'm buying all these. And then texted them all like the price afterwards. They were like, oh, wait, it's a jump scare. You just have to forget it. My mom would not let me forget it once a week. She was like, oh, by the way, baby, you stole me for the Taylor's.
Starting point is 01:25:37 That's ticket. I'd be like, I know. I know I'm like, I'm too much. Just give me five seconds. The followers are. And my mom would be like, my mom will be like, I'm either taking it out of your account or you can give it to me yourself. She ended up taking it out. I do think I am going night one of MetLife.
Starting point is 01:25:53 It is a fucking amazing experience. Yeah. It is amazing. Did you go to the bathroom at all? Nope. I looked at them and I was like, because I have to pee. They looked at me and they go, you can go pee. And I go, okay.
Starting point is 01:26:05 And you will be going by yourself. And an hour later, I was like, I kind of want to diet Coke. Like, I was like thirsty. So I was like, do you guys care? like, does anyone want to come with me to get a Diet Coke? They're like, no, but like, can you get me one? And I was like, no. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:17 I was like, no. If none of you are going to fucking come with me, then I'm not getting one at all. And we're all going to suffer. I'm not your waiter. I'm going to be thirsty. Have to pee. Yeah. Keep in mind, we were there at 5 p.m.
Starting point is 01:26:29 Yeah. And what time to end? Like 1130. Yeah. So we were like, like, all the opening acts are so good. They're so good. So it's like, yeah. They're so good.
Starting point is 01:26:40 and then like Taylor gets on and she like barely breaks a sweat and I'm like what is happening? Like how is this happening? And then she does her surprise songs which are obviously so exciting. Which ones did you get in Vegas? I got our song. Oh wow. Like it was so magical.
Starting point is 01:26:56 Yeah. The whole stadium singing our song. Everyone knows the lyrics to our song. Everyone. They do. Everyone. I do. I kind of want like I selfishly like kind of want a deep cut but then you know our
Starting point is 01:27:07 like for me our song I'd be like okay. This is great because. It's our song, but also like, but it's so fun. Did you see what, did you see she did death by a thousand cuts and clean in the same night? I know, I know. I called my friends. I came and bring out my sister again and she literally cried on TikTok about that. I was like, whoa, I was like, oh, fuck.
Starting point is 01:27:26 Yeah. I was like, those are like the two of the most anticipated surprise songs. And they're just, there they are. My, my sister made a video where she was like, first she did blah, blah, blah. And I wanted to die. And then she did this. And I wanted to die. even more.
Starting point is 01:27:41 And then she did, now I just wanted, like, she was, like, sobbing. But she apparently, like, didn't do the chorus right of death by a thousand cuts. So, like, people, people think she's going to do it again. God, I. What surprise song would you want to hear? Sorry, is that off topic or can I? Oh, no, no, no, no. Honestly, like, I, long live.
Starting point is 01:28:03 Oh. I mean, because everyone in the office will just be like, oh. I just, like, that is my dream. Oh, you know what she did the night before. The night before Death by a Thousand Cuts and Clean, she did one of my favorite Taylor song. You know the song, Ars? Yes.
Starting point is 01:28:18 She did ours. And that's like me and my friend Julia's like favorite song. And I texted to Julia. She goes, don't speak to me. She was like, don't speak to me. And then I was like, okay, it's fine. It's fine. She just did ours.
Starting point is 01:28:26 And then the next night she did Death 5,000 cuts and clean. I was like, this is the worst weekend of my life. Like actually the worst weekend of my life, hands down. Oh my God. No, that's, it's incredible. But now, like, what do you? I don't know what your mindset is for like what you keep doing. doing? Is it just like, I'm just going to keep rolling with how this is going, like posting
Starting point is 01:28:47 TikToks, doing things? Like, do you, you guys have now management wanting to, like, represent you and like all this stuff now? I have amazing management. They're the most incredible, incredible people. I've known them for a very long time. They're the most incredible, incredible people in the entire world. So I really just like, they let me take it day by day. I take it because I have the worst anxiety ever, like really, really, really. really, really, really bad. And, like, I can't, I know what I want to do, though, is I want to, you know, I want to take acting seriously from this.
Starting point is 01:29:19 And I feel like, okay, like, I'm not going to, like, this is, I'm going to use this as, like, a door opener to, like, auditioning for acting stuff. Is that what you did at USC? Not that. No. No. I studied PR. Okay.
Starting point is 01:29:30 Okay. I studied PR. It's a good mix of everything to get to for you at this point now. But I was a big theater kid. And I was always too afraid to pursue it. Because I was just so scared of what everyone thought of me. I was so scared of what everyone thought of me. I was like, oh, like, whatever.
Starting point is 01:29:41 I'm just not going to do it, but I always loved it. So my senior year of college, me and one of my best friends, Ali, we were like, let's take a theater class together. Like, come on. Like, it's my senior year. Like, let's just do it. We did it. And I was like, God, I really missed doing this.
Starting point is 01:29:53 Yeah. So then when I started doing it on TikTok again, I was like, okay, like this, I feel like, this is like a sign. I'm being given. I need to just take this and just use it and like really pursue acting and not care what anyone thinks and just go for it. I envision you like writing your own like sitcom that. is going to be on Netflix in like a year.
Starting point is 01:30:12 My, yeah. That's like, I see that. I would love to do that. I, both my parents are writers. So I, there's, I love writing. Yeah. I could definitely see you in a TV show. Like, you totally.
Starting point is 01:30:24 I want to. It's like my dream. It's like, all I want to do is like be on set with my like line book. Like that was like my favorite thing. Highlighting my lines when I was like a kid and I was in the play. It was literally my favorite thing. It definitely is. Are people recognizing you, obviously?
Starting point is 01:30:38 Yeah, that's very great. And are they like throwing. or throwing scenarios at you when they see you? No, no, no. What I get a lot of the time is like the pussy PSA! Pussy PSA! Which I don't even know how that started. Again, I think I was high.
Starting point is 01:30:51 And then, so then I'll like be like, Pussy Pesaii, like I was at Passover dinner last night. And I walked in like, people that are probably filming you being like, do it, do it. No, they were like, they were doing the Seder. Like they were like talking and I walked in with my friend Alice. We were late. We were like, fuck.
Starting point is 01:31:05 And then I looked to my left and I saw her go. And I was like, and I was like, Alice. there was a pussy. And Alice was like, what? And I was like, swear to God. That's amazing. That is so good. I can't get better than that. They are. I had a mom. I had a, this was the craziest.
Starting point is 01:31:22 Honestly, the Taylor Swift was like Mr. Octopus. Yeah. The Taylor Swift was the craziest. I had a, like, a mom come up to me and ask her, like, daughter to take a photo of us. And I was like, wait, what? And the daughter was like, sorry. Your daughter was like, my mom fucking loves TikTok. And then I had a five-year-old.
Starting point is 01:31:41 be like octopussy Oh my god freaking out It was right after the concert You're like why honey That's so sweet But like why are you on TikTok? Yeah the mom was like
Starting point is 01:31:50 She keeps asking where octopussy is I was like does she? Yeah Like that's so sweet Is she saying octopussy Yeah it's like what But it was so sweet She was perfect
Starting point is 01:32:01 Oh that's amazing That's amazing Yeah I feel like you All ages are good Take them all Yeah Any pussies you can get
Starting point is 01:32:06 Any pussies Yeah And it's so fun That all my skits and everything I do reaches such a broad age of people. Like, you know, I have like fucking kids in high school. I have kids in college.
Starting point is 01:32:19 And I have adults. And you know what I mean? Like it's then it's just so, it feels like everyone's in on the joke. And it's so fun. It's just fun. Made for everybody. You need to do a Erica Jane collab.
Starting point is 01:32:30 Isn't Erica Jane Pat the Puss? Is that her dad? Pat the Puts. What is she doing on? Pat the Puss is her. Yeah, what she went. Yeah, I never really followed. The Puss.
Starting point is 01:32:38 I never really followed that that closely. I don't think I followed with Erica Jane was the whole mess. Yes. What was it, the earrings? Was that, did you watch Beverly Hills this season? Yes. The earrings. What a good season, Beverly Hills.
Starting point is 01:32:51 Yeah, it was so good. What a good season they had. But like, they dragged out the reunion too long, in my opinion. It was like, all right, three parts. This is what they do on Bravo. And I just want to watch it all in one night. We don't need three weeks. Because then by the time the third week comes, we've seen you preview it a million times.
Starting point is 01:33:06 I know. Now we know what happened. You know who has a great reunion every time. Salt Lake City. Every time, like, fucking clockwork. They do. They do. And so does New Jersey.
Starting point is 01:33:14 I actually just saw a headline. I just saw a headline that was killing me. It was a Jen Shaw is organizing a prison play. Like, real house. Is she in prison yet? Yes. What? She's doing theater in prison.
Starting point is 01:33:28 That's amazing. Yeah, yeah. Oh, Jen. You should be in some kind of play. You should be in her theater. I will. How long? I think she already got her fucking sentence reduced.
Starting point is 01:33:35 But I think she comes out in like 20, 27. Oh, wow. Eight. Oh, wow. Yeah. Well, have you, do you guys, like, watch the news specials on, like, what happened? Yes. It was fucked up.
Starting point is 01:33:47 Yes. Extremely. It was fucked up. No, you watch it and then you're like, no, yes, she deserves to go to jail. It's, like, fuck up these. You have these, like, elderly people that are like, yep, I, like, lost my life savings. And I'm like, fuck. You can't fuck with the old people.
Starting point is 01:34:00 Like, it makes you, imagine your poor, like, grandpa picking up the phone and being, like, oh, here's my credit card number. That's a different type of evil to do that. It's a different, because you know that they don't know. Yeah. You're like, ooh, I'm swindling oldies. It's like, how can you do that? How can you do that?
Starting point is 01:34:13 It's fucked up. It's fucked up. Well, Jake, we had so much fun with you here. We're a blast. And honestly, now I feel like we're going to have to have you come back to do like Bravo recaps. Wait, please. We should do a full bravo recap. And we need you to catch up on Vanderpump.
Starting point is 01:34:28 I know. I need to. The end of the season is coming and then the reunion's coming and you're going to miss out on all the drama if you are not caught up. I know. Wait, the end of the season's almost here? There's a couple of episodes. How many episodes are in the season? Sorry, I'm like back there.
