No, which is not my fault. Fran has never invited me to her apartment. Oh, that is not true. Nobody, nobody wants to come here. It's totally, it's totally true. I've never said I didn't want to come there. You just, you assume nobody wants to come there. Nobody wants to come here. Nobody wants to come here because I live far away from everything. So nobody ever wants to come. And I always feel bad like making people come up where I live because it's far and there's like, you know, not that much

going on. But tapestry, great way if you have an empty wall that you don't feel like decorating, just takes up the whole wall. Yeah. I've always wanted one of those ever since like when people go to college and they hang it up in their college dorm rooms. I never had one. It's very dorm room like. It's from urban outfiters. Of course, but that's okay. Yeah, like couldn't be more basic white girl. So that's all right. It looks nice. It's a nice background right now. It is post Thanksgiving. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with your friends, your family, whatever it is you were doing that day. Hope you ate a lot of good food. I had a shit ton of mashed potatoes as expected. I hope you did, Fran. As promised. Yes.

As promised. I had Thanksgiving at my house this year. So obviously, you know, when you're packing up for leftovers for people. You can't leave people high and dry on Thanksgiving. You got to send them away with some Thanksgiving meals. I whispered in my mom's ear and I said, do not give them. And obviously, that's pretty rude of me. But then I got to have a lot of leftover mashed potatoes, which is fair. They get all the other good stuff. There's plenty of other. I have a very Italian family, so we do an Italian Thanksgiving as well as all the normal stuff. So there's plenty of good stuff. But the mashed potatoes, that stays with me. It was actually so cute because my family, we had it at my aunt's house and they all, you know, occasionally listened to the show.

And my aunt who hosted was like, tell Ria, I made sure that I made so much mashed potatoes. Like, they had so much and like so cute. I guess my aunt was listening to us talk about Thanksgiving on radio and you had talked about how, you know, mashed potatoes are a staple. I said my grandma's chocolate cake. Like I love it so much. And my grandma, she's like my aunt heard me and was like immediately told my grandma like, Grand's talking about the chocolate cake on radio. Like you have to make sure that you make the chocolate cake.

So she made the chocolate cake. It was amazing. I feel bad because I talked about my Thanksgiving on the Sunday rundown football show. and I was just joking because we ate Thanksgiving at 8 p.m. Like it was, we sat down for dinner so late. That is completely late. My aunt was watching. I know.

My aunt was watching and she texted me like, not like salty, but kind of just like, sorry, like it was so late. Like I was like, I was kidding. Like I'm making a joke. Like it's Thanksgiving dinner. Who eats Thanksgiving dinner at 8 p.m. Yeah, that's a great point. I feel like it's a blessing and a curse when we talk about things.

Like you just said we talked about on the radio. how you love the cake. So they were like, okay, we have to make sure we get the cake. But you also talked about how you ate at 8 p.m. And they're like, fuck, we ate at 8 p.m. Which, by the way, I mean, not to diss your family, but 8 p.m. How did you survive? I would have been dying.

I ate at 3 p.m. And then again at 6 p.m. And then again at 8 p.m. That's insane. I don't think it was 8 p.m. I was like, no, it was 8 p.m. Believe me. It was because we always do it later because I have one.

one family that they go to the Thanksgiving parade like they live in Manhattan they go every year so by the time they get to New Jersey oh man I'm sorry I'm sorry that parades are a whole other thing for me

fuck that so by the time they get to New Jersey it's late and like you said big Italian family we all all we do is make too many appetizers like appetizer after appetizer

and it was just so much So by the time, like, all the appetizers were done And the food was served It was like 8 o'clock, which was crazy And then like by the time the kitchen was clean And the dessert was served, it was like 9.30. Jeez. So you had a late Thanksgiving. Yeah, I was eating chocolate cake

And like so I was so late, but it was late. And it's, I felt bad because I'm like not knocking my aunt at all. She hosts and she does such an amazing job. Like everything was fantastic. It's because no, we didn't show up at her house until 5 o'clock. Oh, well, yeah. If you don't show up till five, then of course you're not going to eat until a little later than that. Yeah, exactly. Well, I'm glad you made it through. I'm glad that our families were on the same page with the mashed potatoes. And I'm glad you got your cake. But I'd like to say people were saying to me, like, do you not have mashed potatoes any other time of the year? No, I do. I just really love mashed potatoes. Fran knows the meatball shop. Every time I order the meatball shop, I get the side of mashed potatoes. It makes no sense. But for some reason, this place, the meatball shop has a box. mashed potatoes. So I am a frequent mashed potato eater, but on Thanksgiving, it hits different.

There's gravy. It's a mixture with the stuffing and the yams. It's all of it together. It's all of it together. That's exactly what I was going to say. It's the gravy difference. Like you can eat mashed potatoes any other time of the year, but you rarely have it with the turkey gravy. Because that's such your Thanksgiving thing. So once you like that is what makes it so incredible on Thanksgiving because obviously you dunk your mashed potatoes and gravy. Yes, of course. Well, we probably made everybody extremely hungry right now. So I think that you, which I think we do every episode. I think we talk about food every episode. We make people hungry. Last week, it was the pickles. Now it's this. But hopefully you ate enough. We love food. Yes. Oh, and you know, not to not to go on about this, but I went to the

melting pot the night after and chocolate fondue just always always yes yeah sorry I won't get too much into it because now I'm hungry and we have a lot of topics get into not really a lot of topics but you know what we're back we got to get into some celebrity drama thanksgiving eve did you go out or not go out no I didn't go out I stuck to my word I did not go out on thanksgiving Eve see I um not that I haven't had a fun Thanksgiving Eve but I'm also only 22 and people are like you're only 22 I've been going out on Thanksgiving Eve since, and this is obviously not a long time, but since I was 18, I used a fake ID. So it's not like it's been one year. Okay. It's been like a few times. And I went out when I was 18, 19, and then when I, I think I was sick when I was 20. But for something about those early

years is probably because I was underage and not really supposed to be there anyway, where I just didn't have a fun time. And I feel like that's engraved in my memory. And also, also just not that I don't want to see my friends from high school because also I live in New York. I'm from New York. I see my friends. It's not like I don't see those people on Thanksgiving Eve. You just see a shit ton of people you don't really want to see. You know what I mean? Like I have my I have my friends from high school that I still talk to. And then there's a bunch of people that, you know what? It was good knowing you, but also do we have to like fake chit chat right now? Yeah, yeah. A lot of small talk.

A lot of small talk. And also, I also don't, I get really bad hangovers. So I don't really love the idea of being super hungover on Thanksgiving. I know that sounds so lame of me, but I get such bad hangover. So I'm like, do I really want to put myself through that on Thanksgiving? Sometimes I can't even eat. You know, you've seen me like at work throwing up all day. I can't even eat.

So I feel like just, yeah, I feel like just avoiding that and having a nice Thanksgiving is probably my best bet. I'm not saying I'll never go out on Thanksgiving Eve because I probably end up I will one day. But this year, not my thing. Yeah, I did go out. It was. You told me you weren't going out. It's not a shock that you did go out.

No, I did go out. Only because my friends really wanted to. And I did have a friend who was home who I haven't seen in a long time. She really wanted to go out. But it was also fun because we like, we've, We've graduated to the next bar. You know what I'm saying? Like there's one bar that everybody goes to in town.

And it's like mostly the underage kids and the younger kids home from college and everything. It's where my little sister was going. And we went last year for like a half an hour and we were like, this is miserable. We're the oldest people here by a lot. Like why do we decide to come here? Yeah. So this year we were like, we're not going back. Let's go to the other bar.

We know more people there. And it was a smart decision. I had a lovely evening. Wow, that's nice. So you grew up. You graduated to the next bar. Yeah. You graduate to the next bar, but we still pre-gamed in my friend's basement with like beers that we stole from our parents. So you still get that high school nostalgia. Yeah, which is great. I don't hate the high school nostalgia. It's just I also think and I love the point you bring up about the bar. Like you have bars in your town. There's two bars in your town. There's one for the younger kids and the one for the grownups. I went to a private Catholic high school. school, Kellenberg, and on Long Island, there's multiple going out towns. So like Rockville Center, Long Beach, then there's Mulcahies and Wanta. And then you got Farmingdale, you have the Nutty.

So it's like there's so many options where it's not like if it was in my town and I, if I went to high school in my town and they were going to the bar in my town, I feel like that would make sense. But there's so many different options. Some people are like, we're going here. And then the other people are like, no, we're going here. It's going to be too crowded there. I feel like there's just so many going out towns. Yeah. I don't know. Yeah.

It's different, I feel. No, you're, you are, you are very right. It's, it's a, it's a big, like, public school, private school thing, too. Like, on Thanksgiving Eve, I go out with my friends who went to public high school because, like, that's in my town. And I know that they're not going anywhere else. So it's like, it's the same kind of thing. There's other towns. Like, if you want a bigger night, you can go to Morris town or if you, so there's other, other things.

It was just funny because, like, we. It's a time warp. Like we were in my friend's basement and her dad comes downstairs. She's laughing because, you know, it's us and our guy friends. And he's like, he, he, there's, she has a very small basement window. And I think it was maybe either after senior year of high school or after our freshman year of college, he really didn't want us having people over one weekend. And we like snuck people into the basement through like, like, like the tiniest window of all time.

And his dad, like her dad came down and was like, oh, guys, like it was, it was seems like just yesterday you were trying to sneak boys in through that little tiny window. Like it was just.

Still doing it. Yep. Yep. It's just funny for like, it's a nice nostalgia factor of doing that. But I didn't say out too late. Like you said, can't be hung over on Thanksgiving Day.

Like kind of. And the bars don't say open late in New Jersey. So it was like, you know, bars close in New Jersey? Um, like close to one, but like not even.

That's early. That's like Massachusetts. I know. It's pretty early too. The local bars also in town like kind of just decide, you know? Like when they're like, okay, we've had enough of all of you. They just like turn the lights on and like make everybody go home. Really?

That's crazy. I know. So probably around like, I would say like around 1231 they turned the lights on and we're like everybody, everybody get the fuck out of here. So. that's a super early night. That's super early. I feel like on Long Island, people don't go out until like 1130 at night. Right. It's a whole other thing. Yeah. New York is so different. Right. So different. Well, I hope that the people who did go on Thanksgiving Eve had a great time. Hope you made some

poor decisions that you laughed about the next day. That's always fun. And I hope you ate a lot of good food on Thanksgiving as well. All right. We got to get into the topics. We We will be talking about Celebrity Thanksgiving, all of the celebrities that we've seen on Instagram and their Thanksgiving content. Olivia Jade is back on YouTube. People are suspecting that Kendall Jenner was wearing Harry Styles' one-of-a-kind jacket. And Gabrielle Union says she was fired from America's Got Talent reporting behind the scenes discrepancies. So we'll get into all of that. But we are going to start out with Celebrity Thanksgiving.

Disappear you're making me feel like maybe I am somebody Like we said in the beginning of the show, it is a post- Thanksgiving podcast, but we have to talk about all of the celebrity sightings that we saw over Thanksgiving. First, I want to start off with Haley Bieber and Justin Bieber in Miami, which comes to a surprise to me. I feel like they're very family-oriented. Feel like they would have been in Canada. No Canada this year. Well, they'll probably be with the Baldwin's, no? because I mean Justin Bieber doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving.

Well, they celebrated Thanksgiving last year with both families. Oh, both families. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's what I... Oh, the big house. Yes, yes, yes. So that's what I was thinking of. Hmm.

Not that Canadian celebrate Thanksgiving. Maybe they just wanted to do a little vacation. Well, Haley had a photo shoot in Miami, which I saw some of the behind-the-scenes pictures. Amazing. It looked amazing, obviously, on the beach. Justin Bieber was sporting a new look, which I'm not a fan of. I'll just say that right out. The bleach, the bleach hair.

It doesn't do it for me. I can't pretend that it does. Yeah, I, it's tough because I just feel like his hair is always changing and I'm just like, uh, whatever, you know, like, but I don't, I don't love it. I don't love it. I don't even know, I don't even remember what his hair color is anymore. Like, what color is his actual hair? I like brown. I feel like he's always, do. He's always dye.

it. I feel like we, I feel like Justin Bieber is like a light brown. Yeah, I just always picture him with light brown hair, although he has dyed his hair this color before. Haley seems to like it, which is great. I mean, fine. If you like that as your hair color, good for you. If Haley likes it, good for her. Personally, not my cup of tea. I think he looks crazy. Maybe he goes to, maybe he goes to Haley's person. Oh yeah. Maybe they get the same die job. Yeah, they're getting the same color. I don't know. It was pink one day and then it was blonde the next. I don't know what's going on with that. I feel like it was a very like a radic decision where he just decided to dye his hair that color. But you know, it's Justin Bieber. I feel like he does these things. He also was wearing

a shirt that said drop the album already from Drew, his brand. Very self-aware of Justin Bieber. Ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha. But for real, like, just give us the fucking album. Like, ha. Good one, Justin. But like, seriously, drop the album already. Like, come on. Yeah, like good joke. I'm glad you're like making money off of this, but just fucking drop the album. Right. Like a great way for Drew to just be getting more money. Like can everybody stop buying Drew clothing?

Because then if he's not making any money from his clothing life, then, you know, it's got to drop the album. Time to make more money. Great point. Let's stop support. Stop supporting Justin Bieber's clothing brand so that we get an album people. So that we get the album. I want Rihanna to do well with Fenty, but the reason she's not making music is because Fenty is doing so well that she doesn't need to make music. But I won't wish that upon Rihanna because I want Rihanna's Fentie to succeed.

Because I've also bought Fenty products before. So you know what? Keep it around. Drew is just not a good enough brand. I'm sorry. Let's just be honest. Drew, he's trying to do the street wear, but it's Justin Bieber. My brother went to L.A.

and he was like, do you want something from Drew? I said, no. No, I don't want something from Drew. Do keep it? I've looked at, I've looked at like so many times, like thinking like maybe I'll buy something. But there's just nothing really like that special about it, you know, like besides just the name of it. Do you think that I also hate? I know, I think it's not that it's more for men, but like obviously Justin Bieber is wearing it

the time. It's like you associate it, associated more with him. The shorts with Drew across the crotch, I hate. I hate them. They look so weird. Yeah. And once again, you said it's more like a guy thing. I feel like those shorts

maybe don't look as bad on like Justin Bieber. But still, I feel like I'm looking at the site now. And I feel like he's just copying streetwear brands where they're very simple and you just put a name on it and you put a cool design and it is what it is and people buy it. But why is these, like I'm looking at the prices. This V-neck long-sleeved top that just is just drew with a smiley face is $128. Yeah, it's insane. And this could be

said about a lot of brands. I think the same thing with, and I almost, bought it so many times. You know what else I've almost bought that I'm like, am I going to do it? And it's purely from social media influence is talentless. It's got to six sweatshorts. I'm like, am I about to buy this sweatshirt even though like it has nothing on it? It's literally just a plain sweatshirt. Fran, I'm subscribed to like talentless emails, which I realized today when it was sending me, you know, like, oh, 20% sale or whatever. I almost. understand it not that I understand it more with talentless but I feel like talentless is a funny brand because I think it's kind of smart the name talentless because they are they're they say they have

no talent and he was like right I'm going to make a brand called talentless and just sell plain ass sweatshirts and shit but yes he has come out I will say he has come out with like some fungier designs recently in patterns and like different kind of sweatshirts and I'm like oh shit that's actually kind of cool am I about to buy this 100. $120 sweatshirt. But when it first came out and it was literally just like a gray hoodie with nothing on it, I was like, uh, what's going on here? Yeah.

See, now I'm on the talent list site and I'm looking at the prices. They have way more stuff. They have way more stuff now that's like actually cool. But, um, yeah, it's just. It's the power of social media and these people wearing it makes you want to wear it. So like I can see why people wear it. I'm going to buy. Yeah.

I'm not going to buy. It is the power of social media because I'm like, I've caught myself on that website way too many times where I'm like almost about to buy something. And then I am like, why am I about to buy this? Right. It's like easy. Like I have a few stuff and I'm just like, did I buy this because I like it? Or am I buying this because, you know, it's a cool brand. I'm confused. But that's okay. That's okay. Anyways, I don't know how we ended up here, but I'm not sure either. We were talking about their Thanksgiving. And then we ended up in Miami. This thing is company. And oh, while we're on Miami, Sophia Richie and Scott Dissick were in Miami too. So I guess it all ties together. Sophia Richie has been posting

some of the hottest bikini pictures this world has ever seen. Like truly the hottest of all time. If I could have one person's body on this earth, it would be Sophia Richies. She has the perfect body. She has a big butt. but not too big where it's like, oh, God, that's fake.

Like, I feel like it's definitely her butt. She is so in shape. She has big boobs. She got a boob job. That's fine. And she just looks super hot. Yeah. She's been looking amazing.

She really does look so good. Yeah. So shout out to Sophia Richie's bikini pictures. You know what? I didn't even really see that much Kardashian Christmas besides even, I mean, Kardashian Christmas, Kardashian Thanksgiving. I saw Kylie host that. her like friends giving with all the funny name cards.

But I didn't really see a lot from the actual Thanksgiving Day. Who hosted? I'm not sure who hosted because I think that Courtney and her kids and Kim and her kids went to Tokyo. Right, right, right. Chris and Kendall were together. I saw a video of them too. I don't know. I think it was a pretty quiet Thanksgiving from all of them.

I actually did check all of their stories Thanksgiving night to see if there was any content because I knew we'd be talking about this. every holiday because there's always good stuff and I went to every single one and there was not one story besides Kendall and Chris Jenner so which is just so unfortunate because every year I like I'm fingers crossed that there's going to be some good like drunk Chris Jenner videos of her maybe singing or karaoke or just making funny jokes like the holidays are the time for Chris Jenner to get a little wasted and for her children to film her on social media and we didn't get any of that this Thanksgiving it's always always a treat I want to talk about

the promo, although this will be out after the show comes out, so it's unfortunate, but there was one little promo where they show Kanye, and Kim's like, you know, Kanye always wants people to be more positive. So he came up with this game and you go through the dictionary and you highlight positive words. So he's just playing this game with Courtney, Kim, and Chloe. And it's just, it's bizarre. I've seen Kanye like this. I'm sorry. It's very bizarre. He's like, okay now why did you highlight that word and they're like talking about why they think the word is positive and he's like this is a great board game when you're bored like classic Kanye dad jokes now like oh man this is just getting super positive Kanye which I'm all for the positive

vibes keep being positive I feel that yeah just feels weird it does it does it does feel a little wrong um who else do we want to oh Taylor Swift had her classic friends give that she hosts, you know, Gigi Hadid, Martha Hunt, all her, you know, celebrity was there as well, I believe. And then she flew to London to see Joe, so she's there now. You sound like her friend. I know, right?

Like, I'm like, so she texts to me that she just... She's there now. She just landed. I know. I'm just like super creepy keeping tabs. Well, I saw like one picture of her and Joe, and I was just like, you know, I'm happy for her. She has really kept, continued to keep this guy pretty under wraps. Yeah, it is impressive.

It's been like three years now. Mm-hmm. Yeah. We usually see a lot more from her boyfriends, but this time this guy is, maybe that's the key to how they've kept their relationship going. I think it is. That's why it works because they kind of fly a little bit under the radar when they're together and it works so well.

She's on the cover of British Vogue. The cover just came out. she looks stunning The photos are beautiful I laughed because Kelly Kee's tweeted out the picture and was like oh no everyone Stop telling me this looks exactly like me And the one picture she tweeted did kind of look like Kelly

I was like damn that's such a great compliment to get Totally is She looked absolutely stunning on the main cover that I saw It was amazing She looks so good I haven't I know I haven't really looked or read anything of it yet Because I know but she's I think it's very

like cats-esque. She's being interviewed by Andrew Lloyd Weber in the magazine. So Andrew Lloyd Weber did Phantom of the Opera. I think they're talking a lot of cats. Am I speaking about is Andrew Lloyd Weber also did Phantom of the Opera correct? Yes, correct. The Phantom of the Opera is there. I love that. I don't know how I feel about cats though. I don't really know either. The last The last trailer where, like, Taylor Swift's cat, like, kind of had boobs. It was freaking me out a little bit. I'm not going on.

I saw it on my TV the other day, and I was taken aback for sure. I feel like I wasn't in the right mindset to see this cat's trailer. The amount of times that I've Googled what is the plot of cats. Like, I, I, and the last trailer that came out, it did kind of, like, explain it a little bit better, I guess. But I also have never, I never saw the show. I've never, like, I've, I've, I've never seen any version of cats. So, like, I'm still like, what, what the hell is the point of cats? And I, every time I Google it, it's just like, cats is about a group of cats.

And I'm like, okay. Yeah, it is, it's so confusing. I don't know either. I know memory. Yeah. I don't want to keep singing. But the only thing that I've seen of cats is when my sister was younger and, you know, you do the school plays. Right.

They did a mashup, which I thought was really cool, by the way, from my middle school. They did some kind of mashup where they did like a scene from each play. And then they had it was like that was the opening act. They did a scene for multiple plays. And then they did one big play. And one of them was cats. And my sister was one of the cats. And that is the I've only seen one scene from my middle school.

So that's all I know about cats is memory. We know nothing about cats. Nothing about cats. Maybe we'll see it so that we get more. educated. People are big fans. Some people hate it. But maybe we'll see the movie just as just to see what it's like. I think we just have to see it just to talk about it, you know? Yeah, because it is, it is so weird in the fact that we will be entertained because it's yeah cats with boobs. It's just CGI cats. Yeah, CGI cats. It's weird. All right. Simpson. Oh, Miley. Yeah. Cody Simpson spent Thanksgiving with the Cyrus family. We haven't. They've been a little more quiet, I think, because Miley Cyrus got vocal surgery and they've been laying low. She actually can't talk. Yeah. She had a silent birthday. Yeah. It's crazy because she when she went on that Instagram live, you know, that blew up. She was like, oh, I'm supposed to be on vocal rest. Like my doctor told me not to talk, sing, whatever. And she was like talking, singing. She was doing everything. And then, you know, she had a surgery and she like is on. very strict vocal rest. And I think it was for quite some time, like a pretty lengthy amount of time. So I wonder if they had a very quiet Thanksgiving. Hadda Montana was a foreshadowing. I always think of

that episode. So true. Where Brooke Shields comes back, right? Her mom comes back. And I'm always afraid that she's going to lose her voice because of the, I don't know. It's just, it's scary. We just have to make sure that Miley Cyrus stays on that vocal rest so she can keep that beautiful voice first. Speaking of Hannah Montana, just on the topic of Disney Plus for a second, I have been watching so much Jonas. Oh my God. How is it? How is it hitting these days?

Because I feel like it was really bad. Let me tell you, it hits different at this age. Like, everybody should go back and watch Jonas. Do you think? It's so bad. It's funny. Like, the first episode of Jonas, I mean, it's like the most. Could it be more foreshadowing the whole?

Because it's weird because they tried to make it like their characters were them because they were Nick Joe and Kevin Jonas like in the show. So in the first episode Nick like falls in love with Bridget Medler in like two seconds. And they're like, oh Nick, he always falls so fast. Like he's going to get hurt again. Like he just falls in love so quick. And he was and like they're making fun of it. him for never smiling and like being the super serious one and he's like guys like don't tell anybody

about this like it's bad for my brand like I'm I'm the moody one like it's just it's so bizarre and so truly terrible that is that is very funny to watch back very funny I've been waiting on pulling the plug I'm watching that one but I might just watch Jonas I feel like I you won't regret it Like I also there's a very Joe Jonas and Chelsea Stob who now his name is not Chelsea Stob anymore. Chelsea Cain. She changed her name. Well, people know her as Chelsea Stop. I know, but she is like legally like she changed her name.

Like if we were to interview Chelsea Stob right now, we would have to call her Chelsea Cain. Oh, well her middle name is Cain. Yes. And she said she got tired of stab and stub so she just changed it to Cain. Yep. She was just like, fuck it, I'm changing my name. Which is kind of a baller move to do, like, in the midst of being fairly famous. I just wouldn't change it if I was that.

Yeah. Just completely changing her name. But, no, it's she and, she and Joe, like, have a very cute little, you know, back and forth. But Kevin, Kevin is, Kevin is so bad. And looking at the timeline now, it's so funny because it's like, Kevin was like married when they weren't filming this. And he was in high school. Was playing this high school kid that was like kind of wacky and aloof and like was kind of like the family idiot.

It's just like Frankie Jonas is in it so much. I totally forgot about that. Like he has a legit role of the show. It was nice of them to do that for Frankie. They didn't let him in the band. The least they could do is let him in Jonas. Right. He could at least have a guest spot as their own brother on Jonas.

Yeah. You have to go back and. watch some Hannah Montana and that's a Raven because those are actually and maybe my sense of humor sucks but what I watch it I genuinely laugh still. I'm like damn they you know what that was good even back then. I mean even before Disney Plus I would still watch episodes of Hannah Montana and so would you like that show is I'd stick by it that show is legit good it was the best show that Disney Channel ever made yeah yeah under ratings wise I think yeah I said I was reading that the other day all right well I think that wraps up for celebrity Thanksgivings unless we saw anything else.

No, I think that was it. And that was a really nice topic of not really talking about celebrity thanksgivings. I enjoyed that. Yeah, that was beautiful. I feel like we really got a little side subjects in there, which I actually like. We just talked about the celebrities without talking about Thanksgiving. And as much as I wish I could talk about all of this, It's really hard for me to say this just because I know that it's something that needs to be addressed. It's just unfortunately, which is also why I didn't know exactly when I should come back to YouTube. But the reason for that is just because I'm legally not allowed to speak on anything going on right now. A part of me is like, should I come back to YouTube right now?

Because it's been so long and I actually really, really miss it. Like I genuinely miss filming. I feel like a huge part of me is just not the same because this is something that I'm really passionate about. It's something I really like to do. But I also didn't know. I debated for like seven or eight months. Like, well, if I can't talk about it, is there a point in coming back and not being able to say anything? I want to come back because I want to come back. There's no point in me just talking. for 10 minutes to the camera about how I wish I could say something when I really can't. So I'm gonna leave it at that. I mean, I feel like the negative ones go right to the top because people are like. them, but there's also positive ones that are also going to the top. And I feel like this is something she's just going to have to deal with. And if she wants to just make this a career, she's just going to have to turn a blind eye to the comments because like you said, people are still going to be like, well, what happened? Hello? Whatever. Yeah. But she also has the right to move on from the situation. Once again, this is, you know, we don't know if she knew or not. And this all goes back to her mom. And I think that her mom is the big. his problem in all of this. And I feel like she, she's got to make a living somehow. This was her job. And

you know, is she even going to school anymore? So I feel like there will be tons of people who make the jokes like this one says. I really thought you were away training with the rowing team. Ha ha. Yeah. That's good one. And literally, I mean, like I definitely chuckled a little bit. And then there are some that are just like, all right, who cares? Let's let her move on. People are allowed to move on from these things, which I also agree with. I don't think that Olivia J. should have to live every single day with a reminder that her mom fucked up and whether she knew or not. It's, she's so young.

And I feel like it's kind of horrible to just nag her every single day at this point. I feel like, all right. I feel like she's, you know, been silent for months now, like at least eight months. And I feel like that was an appropriate time. I thought she was going to come back sooner. I feel like she's done a good job actually, just like reflecting. and staying quiet. Yeah, she has been gone for a long time.

And I do think there is just something very naturally funny about making a video about something that you can't talk about. You know, like just talking about something you can't talk about. Yeah, and I also didn't, she didn't say sorry. That's the whole video. Yeah, she goes, okay, I can't talk about this. I can't talk about this, which I get. But like, at least say, hey, I can't talk about this, but I'm sorry, everyone. Right. And she did catch herself like, she was like, I don't want to, I'm not trying to make myself like sound like the victim or, you know. So it's, I'm sure it's very hard for her to navigate on how to even talk about not talking about it. Like I bet she watched that video a billion times before she posted it. Like does this even make sense? But, no, I agree with you. A lot of times past, obviously Lori's situation is still ongoing and they have a lot to figure out.

And there's also other, I saw some comments being like there are other jobs out there. Yes, there are other jobs out there. There definitely are. But do you think Olivia Jade who didn't even go to school and like, do you think she's going to go do those other jobs? No. Right. Like this is what she wants to do. Right. And even she wants to be an influencer. Right. Even when she was at college and

everybody was making fun of her and her YouTube videos for like saying that she didn't even like really want to go to school. Like yeah, because this is what she wanted to do. And I'm even want to be at school in the first place. Yeah. I, I don't know. Like, thinking back on the video again, I definitely feel like, because she can't say anything, so that makes sense. No.

But I feel like she could have said stuff without saying anything. You know what I mean? Like, I'm sorry. This was selfish of my family and I. Yeah. You know, I can't talk about it, but once again, I'm sorry and I'd like to move on. Yeah. It was just more of... She might not even be able to, like, legally say that. Right. Because, like, saying, like, oh, this was selfish, like that could be admitting guilt.

Or saying, I'm sorry, could be admitting guilt. Exactly. So, you know what? Like, there might be some key, like, words that she can't even use. Yeah. Before people automatically judge her, we should remember that legal, like, the legal factors are real. She's not making that up.

So maybe she didn't say sorry. Maybe she didn't say all this because she's literally not allowed. Like, her mom pled not guilty. Multiple times. Like to try and stick with that story. All right, Lori Lachlan, we know you're fucking lying. Give up. Give up.

I see a lot of the top comments being mean, but then there are ones that are like, well, good for you for leaving the comments on and coming back because you know, not a lot of people would do that. My thoughts are that as soon as I clicked the tweet where people were freaking out the comments under it

were saying that it wasn't the same jacket. So I didn't even have enough time to freak out and think it was the same jacket because immediately I saw the comment saying it wasn't the same jacket. Right. So we missed like the hour that everybody freaked out before people started responding. Like people took really zoomed in photos. And if you haven't seen the jacket, it's like this yellow and blue like plaid jacket.

It's very cool. And apparently the designer made Harry Styles, like special for him. It's one of a kind. Like nobody else has it, the whole thing. So everybody freaked out obviously because if it's one of a kind, bam, Kendall Jenner's wearing it, obviously she would have gotten it from Harry Styles. But people really like zoomed in on the plaid patterns and the lines and the look of it. And I think we have determined that they are different jackets and they just look very, very similar. Yes. Confirm they're different jackets because

the lapel is different. Yeah. If you take a look at the lapel, you can see that the plaids are going in different directions. Yes, people. So we need to be better observers because you would have realized that. And also, it could be, well, it's not because we know it's not because Harry Style said this was one of a kind jacket made for him. But my original reaction was they could have had the same jacket. Two stylish people could have been wearing the same jacket. I don't think that's the case. I think that Harry thinks he got a one of a kind jacket. But really, the person who made that saw. a jacket that look like that because Kendall Jenner is wearing one that looks exactly like that. Either way, I don't think that there's any connection between Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner right now. Absolutely none. I think that we would have been let on a little bit more. And Kendall Jenner just seems to be hanging out with her friends all the time.

I mean, I feel like we see a lot of Kendall Jenner lately just posting and her friends are posting or maybe I just follow more of them now. But there's nothing that's making me believe that Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner are anywhere back towards each other. Yeah. I think you hit it when you said like, could just be very, they're two very stylish people.

Obviously, we, we know about this jacket being made for Harry. But like, the most plausible situation here would be that Harry and Kendall could be wearing the same clothes. Honestly, I bet they have a lot of same items in their closet.

Like, they could totally share clothes. Right. Or maybe, well, I'm not going to, this is totally not right. So I won't even say, what I was going to say, but I was going to say maybe the designers, you know, send them both the same things. But who knows? Who knows? And you're right. They're stylish people. They got the same things in the closet. You know, Harry, he likes wearing. It's actually probably great when they were dating. They could

share clothes. Yeah, because I feel like Kendall wears boys clothes sometimes. Kendall, uh, Harry wears girls clothes sometimes. Right. But I feel like it's more of the style nowadays. Like anybody can wear anything. It doesn't even matter. Yeah, exactly. Like there's no, um, barrier for them. Like they, like, Kendall can air, there are two people who can wear like whatever the fuck they want. And still look good. And pull it off and look amazing.

Exactly. Facts. Don't tell me you're sorry. But you put on quite a show. We're going to show. It's so. Okay. So there's been a lot of drama around the exit of Gabrielle Union and Julianne Huff

on America's Got Talent. We found out that they were going to be out of a judging job, that they were, you know, no longer on the panel. And it has slowly kind of come out that there was maybe like some shady things going on behind the scenes. Gabrielle Union apparently reported, or not reported, you know, went to the higher-ups when Jay Leno was a guest judge after he made some kind of inappropriate joke

or something that she thought was inappropriate. The joke ended up being cut. And it just, it, the way it is being framed is that it seems like Gabrielle was fired because of maybe like her complaints about how the show was run and what was really going on behind the scenes and like who was in charge and the decisions being made.

Dwayne Wade also like wrote on Instagram or as some social media like, referring to her getting fired. So, I mean, she was fired. Like they, even if it sounds like harsh because you're like, oh, they're not on the show anymore. But yeah, they were relinquished of their duties of judging America's Got Talent. So, you know, they were basically fired. But it's interesting because, you know, Ellen Pompeo has come out to support her, Deborah Messing. They're both like kind of shit on NBC.

So it's interesting. We'll kind of see what happens. Yeah. I feel like we definitely need more. behind the scenes info, but from what I'm hearing, I definitely don't like what I've been hearing about what's going on behind the scenes. Like you said, it was the Jay Leno thing. And then apparently they didn't like her hair styles. They said, you know what I mean? They said stuff about it being too black that she reportedly heard multiple racist comments from staffers about her hairstyles

being too black. That's what us weekly reported. Um, which is obviously messed up. I mean, like, who the fuck says that? And then Jay Leno, he, he, she went to human resources. Sorry, I'm reading the article. But then the joke was never escalated. But then we have Julianne Huff, who apparently said that she didn't deal with any of this and whatnot. But obviously, just because Julianne Huff didn't deal with this doesn't mean that Gabrielle Union didn't deal with this. You know what I mean? Like, I'm not going to discredit Gabrielle Union and what she says because Julianne Huff didn't deal with this. Simon Cowell's company also spoke out and said, we remain committed to ensuring a respectful workplace for all employees and take very seriously any questions about workplace culture. We are working with Ms. Union through her representatives to hear more about her concerns following which we will take whatever next steps may be appropriate.

So hopefully they definitely look more into this because if this is going on behind the scenes and nobody speaking up about it. it. Maybe it's finally time that, oh, finally, Gabrielle Union was the one brave enough to say something. Right. But it's always tricky with these networks because they're easy, they're good at hiding stuff. They're insanely good at hiding stuff. I mean, Ellen Pompeo, you know, in her tweets about it, was basically, you know, reiterating how, you know, NBC doesn't exactly have a great history. Like, look at the Matt Lauer stuff and how they have, uh, at times, protected people that they shouldn't have protected. And, like, they can blame, you know, ratings, falling or whatever, this, that.

And the other thing, America's Got Talent. This is saying that they've seen her ratings decline for at least the last three years. The show's social media presence has doubled since Union and have replaced longtime female judges. Mel, Spice Girls, and Heidi Klum. So page 6 also wrote the 18 episode season that wrapped in September generated 25 million social media impressions approximately half of which engaged

directly with union according to figures from Nielsen Social, effectively making her the most popular judge. So that's, you know, people see that, you see the numbers, it's like, okay, why exactly was she fired? Because the

people liked her as a judge. I mean, I watch America's Got Talent and I thought she was great. I thought Julian Huff was great. I thought they had like I thought they all had a pretty good chemistry together. Mel and Heidi like their time had kind of just like come to an end I feel like and Gabrielle and Julianne were great and it's I feel like they kind of got hosed that they just were given one season. Simon Cowell I think has a lot of power too obviously and I don't you sometimes hear like not so great things about Simon Cowell, which is tough because you know I love Simon Cowell. Yeah, but I feel like we've all, we've been hearing about not so great things about Simon Cowell since the beginning of American Idol.

I mean, he was the dick judge on American Idol, so people would not say great things about him. But then he turned into, you know, a really nice and happy guy on America's Got Talent, which was odd. It was a weird shift. I don't, I'm not like an every week watcher of America's Got Talent, but I would watch occasionally. And I remember the first time you told me that Julianne Huff and Gabrielle Union would be going on as judges. Even I was excited as somebody who doesn't watch often. I was like, oh, that's so exciting that I feel like they make so much sense. They would be a great addition.

And I thought that they were. And obviously the numbers show that. So there's definitely something fishy going on behind the scenes because no network sees that their numbers are rising and is like, all right, we need to get rid of the person who's helping our numbers or something fishy going on. This leads me to, I've been watching the morning show on Apple TV. There's a lot of this stuff going on, you know, like networks, networks keeping quiet, things going on behind the scenes, ratings talk, what brings, you know what I mean? I don't know why I brought that up, but I feel like.

No, no, it's, it's also kind of, I think, an inside look on how these big networks are, behind the scenes you have no idea what's going on like they can be so incredibly controlling like nick cannon nick cannon has talked about it before with america's got talent because he hosted the show for a while and he like resigned very quickly in 2017 and had like this long facebook post that really like condemned to nbc so you know she's not the first person to expose problems on America's Got Talent. So, you know, we'll see what happens. This last page 6 headline is NBC, quote,

working with Gabrielle Union after her America's Got Talent exit. So I guess we'll have to wait and see if anything comes out of it. But it's kind of a big L for NBC. I just don't like, why? why even fuck with them? Right. NBC is not looking good here.

And who's going to replace them? No, it's like, it's stupid. Like, I have no idea. There's nobody lined up. Or at least I haven't seen anything. Gabrielle Union and Julianne Huff, two big names, two great women. Doesn't make sense.

And we're about to turn up and live our best life. It's going to be an official cheat day and we are very excited for that. Great. Mike, I feel like you're always living your best life at this point.

Yes. Like that's the main goal at all times. Your Twitter is very inspirational. Yeah. I saw that you, you were going back and forth. with KFC here about something. Yeah. And I always support the fellas over here at Barstores.

Right. And you said something that I can't remember and it stuck with me and then all of a sudden you deleted it and changed your motto. But it was everything was so inspirational. I forget now that it's going to kill me. Was it either saltiness seasons the sauce? Was it you can't be bitter and expect life to be sweet with all these flavors you chose to be salty?

I think it was something about like when people. people bother you, you can't feed into it because then you become like that person. Okay, so you're pretty much saying don't argue with a fool. It only proves that there are two fools. Yes, that's the one you said. That's the one you said. I was like, you know what? Yes.

Damn right. Now I've been looking like a fool all the time because I'm arguing with these people. Exactly. And I'm the fool now. Exactly. I refuse to be out of my peace. So therefore, if I believe that an argument is not even going to be like a fair debate and they're not even going to be open to my argument or perception.

I don't even get into it. I just walk away because it's not worth for me to get out of my piece. So that's where the quote comes in. Don't argue with a fool. It only proves that there are two. So that's right there. You know what I'm saying? That's what's up.

Yeah. And you know, we've been missing a lot of those. Like I don't even know they're like words of wisdom, good facts to live by. Because this past season or whatever, half season of Jersey. family vacation. We haven't seen you guys. Yes, BDS was on vacation. Yes. And I was in prison for eight months and I had to do my prison bid and I felt that I handled it for myself and my family and my future with grace and class. And that's how, you know, we hoped for it to be. So it was like that. Yeah. Great. So you talked about how obviously,

I mean, everybody is saying the same thing to you. You were in prison for eight months. Everyone wants to know what it's like, including us, because we are two 20-something-year-olds who know absolutely nothing about prison. And I have just many questions. Yes, I want to hear what you guys got to say. First off, what is your day-to-day routine like? Okay, day-to-day routine, I would wake up at 7 a.m. And I would do fasted cardio because I was intermittent fasting in there and I was trying to cut down and lose the weight. I would come back.

You look fantastic. Oh, thank you. It's very impressive. You must have been very happy. So after you come back from Fasted Cardio, I would have my breakfast, which would be a protein bar from commissary that they provided, probably a banana and some oatmeal that was also bought on commissary. And then an hour or two later, I would rest and go back to the gym to do weights.

So it was a lot of working out. Well, technically, I should have had a job in there. But they kind of just let me be. You know what I mean? So I was at the gym. That was my schedule once. The gym was your job. The gym was pretty much my job.

Yeah. And then I would pretty much email my wife, good morning. You know, honey, we're going to make it. Don't worry. You know, I'm excited for this week's visit. I would also email my friends. And then, let's just say, 12 o'clock is lunch in the chow hall, in the mess hall. And then after that, dinner is at four.

And I would stay out of the way of administration. If anybody was walking around, any wardens or anybody, I would stay out of sight. And then pretty much, it's TV time after that, pretty much. And you said that you emailed Lauren in the morning. Yes, pretty much. two and three times a day emails. Yeah. And we talked to Vinnie and Polly about this.

Yeah. They came in when you were in prison and they were like, oh, we just talked to him like a few minutes ago. Right. We were like, we were like blown away because we were just so, we didn't realize he was like, yeah, no, they showed us the, there's like an app. The app you guys used.

Pretty convenient. Yes. There is, yeah, honey. He was like my motivational coach while he was away in prison for eight months because every morning, every afternoon, every night, I'd have an email from him, you know, helping me to like focus through the day. and what I should tackle and what I should put on the back burner and not to get overwhelmed

and what projects to work on. And he was really like my life coach walking away. That's how positive. Yeah, there wasn't a day that it wasn't positive. And I refused to let my circumstances define me. Yeah. I was convinced and I had developed a certainty that no matter what I would face that I was going to rise above. Yeah.

And I saw you said in an interview, which I loved. You were like, I can either be bitter or better. Yes, that's a choice. We have every day with every situation, whether it's depression, anxiety, addiction, divorce, you lost your job, whatever it is. It is an obstacle. But if you look really close at that obstacle, you can turn it into an opportunity. You know, are you thinking about writing a book?

Because I think you should write a book. Yeah, maybe. Either that or maybe like go on tour. Like I feel like there's so much. Yeah, there's not church, but like inspirational group. It's like you become a, I feel like you have such great motivation to you now that you could take that either in a book or on tour or something and share these thoughts of people. Yes. Me and me and Mrs.

Situation are battle tested. Yeah. Okay. Addiction, recovery, prison. We had a fire wedding. Right. We're in the public eye. You know, I feel like we're showing a good example right now of sort of a beautiful couple trying to do our best and be our best self.

Yeah. 100%. And you guys obviously dated before Jersey Shore happened. Right. I want to know your first opinions on Mike. In college? Yeah, yeah. Oh, wow.

He was very handsome, very charismatic, and outgoing. Yes. Always a sweet guy at heart. I always, you know, throughout his struggles and throughout addiction, I always tried to lift him up to be the best part of him. She stuck by me when I didn't even believe in myself.

You know, I had lost, you know, the millions. I was, you know, in active addiction and no one really wanted to hire me. They didn't trust me again. They didn't trust me. And she believed in me and I had to sort of climb that mountain once again. And, you know, now, you know. Now he's that person I saw inside 100% of the time instead of just, you know, part of it. Yeah.

It really just shows true love. Like, you guys, you make me so happy. Thank you. And like I said, you met before Jersey Shore. You dated for a year. and you took some time off and Mike had his party days. And then obviously that ended. And then Jersey Shore came back.

So what was that like for you, Lauren? Because obviously you weren't a fan of the partying ways and Mike had moved on. Were you nervous that coming back was going to bring back some old stuff? Not at all for me because what a lot of people don't understand was that when Jersey Shore was on, we were never together in the entire run, even when it started. So we were on good terms. She was happy for me. And I was happy for him because he had always struggled with addiction and he had found his place in the world. He was massively successful overnight, massively famous.

And I would be happy for him. And I also was moving on in my own life. Tell her about your grandma. Yeah. So at that time, I worked in the city. I was a fashion buyer. And I commuted from New Jersey. My grandmother lived with my parents and us.

So I would come home from work every night. and I would say good night to my grandma. And at the time, he was doing Jersey Shore. He was also doing Dancing with the Stars. But like I said, we were not together. I was actually dating someone else. And I would go say good night to my grandmother. And she would tell me, oh, Mike was so great on dancing with stars tonight.

She was like his biggest fan. Yeah. That's so cute. Yeah. So I feel like she's happy because she had passed since then right before we got back together that year. She's smiling in the heavens right now. Definitely. Definitely. God, I love that.

Did you watch when he was on Dancing with the Stars Friends? Oh, yeah. I'm... It's one of my favorites. Yes, I did. I did. I do remember that time. But it was also when, I think, um, people had a different opinion on you because it was

tied to the first Jersey Shore around. I was sort of the guy that you love to hate. Yeah. And I sort of like reveled in that at that particular time. And then I grew up and I matured and realized what was more important in life and being your best self and showing people, um, like I said, that right now kindness is the new culture. We bring them back morals and integrity right now.

Love that. Love it. And like I said, I had multiple questions about prison. So I got to get back. I wrote a bunch down. So day-to-day routine. Okay, how often we talked about how often you talk to your friends. What kind of friends did you make on the inside?

Because there was always rumors and articles coming out that you were like best friends with Billy McFarland. And we were like, oh my God, are they planning something together? So who were your actual friends there? I really didn't have many friends in there, but I made friends with the people that sort of ran things in there and that sort of also ran the kitchen. So I was able to get extra salad and extra protein and food for my diet, which my ultimate goal was to come out of prison and reveal the grand reopening of the situation. Yeah, which you did. Yes, yes, yes. So, but Billy McFarland, I didn't really talk to him too much.

He was actually very shy, very reserved. and he sort of like did his own thing. And we may have played against each other in softball or or basketball, but he sort of stayed to himself. I might have seen him in passing and that's the most of what it was. Michael Cohen, on the other hand, which was the president's lawyer or quote unquote the fixer, he actually sat next to me when we ate lunch and dinner every day. So I had more conversations with him, which was pretty wild.

He wasn't the biggest fan of the Trump administrations. Interesting. But he did say that he believed that Trump was going to be reelected. So, yeah. Who knew you would be like spending time in prison having these, you know, political conversations that are obviously extremely timely right now. But you guys, so clearly you had a lot of time with everybody else. Like there wasn't. There was a lot of super successful people to be honest with you.

I'm talking like, you know, very successful, you know, lawyers and accountants and people in the business world, like people that all, like, practically almost owned banks. Like, you know, it's like people like that in there. So it was a very interesting situation to hear their story and to see what they were going through and meet the families. Yeah. And it was just, it was very interesting, you know, to go through that. Yeah, and it's not, it's so not what you think or what you see in the movies. Right. Yeah.

That's what we expect. Yeah. And I was so intimidated. We're thinking like orange is the new black, you know, but I'm not. Obviously, that's female budget. Right. Yeah. So different.

But I have to say from visiting him every week, it's all you see in there is family. Because it's the people that are with you at the lowest, hardest point in your life. So you just see moms and grandmas and kids and babies. And it's just people being surrounded by their loved ones, at least what I would see in the visiting room. Yeah. So. Yeah. The first day.

It's different. The first day that Michael Cohen came into prison, I had this bright idea. I was like, you know, because I'm trying to be on a doctor. it. Yeah. And I wanted to have him smuggle some chicken for me out of the kitchen because I need protein to get fit. And I figured that he wouldn't mind it's his first day.

He's trying to make friends. Right. Get in. Get in with a circle. You know what I'm saying? Okay. It's cool. I was in there a couple months already.

Everybody knew me. I was like, all right. This is my chance to get some more chicken. And so I went up to him and I was like, I'm like, listen, Mike. I'm like, what's up? He's like, hey, what's up, Mike? I met you before on dancing with the stars or whatever. I was like, all, cool.

I'm like, I need you to do a favor for me. I was like, I'm going to need you to go onto Mainline. Mainline is the line for food, and then there's also a kosher line. Because he was, you know, Jewish, he would go to the kosher line. But because it was his first day, I figured that no one would notice if he went onto the main line. So I told him, I said, listen, can you smuggle some chicken for me? I said, on Thursday, saying, give it to me. I'm going to hide it in my locker.

And he said, yeah, sure, Mike, anything for you. Thursday comes around and I'm looking. and there's Michael Cohen's nowhere to be found and I'm like dude am I going to have to go see this guy now like you know what I'm saying like where's my chicken you know and it just so happened that you know I say it's funny it's like the punchline but Michael Cohen was chicken on chicken day because he ended up not showing up I went up to him later on in the evening I'm like yo Mike man

dude like what happened to my chicken I was excited about this where the fuck's my chicken bro and then he goes he goes he goes Mike man they're on to us And I was like, oh, word. I was like, all right, I'm like abort mission. Yeah, sorry. I was like, damn. I was like, the warden knows about this. Like, all right.

Like maybe it was a bad idea trying to have two high profile inmates trying to smoke a chicken out of the kitchen. But it didn't even work out. Eventually, like I said, I made friends with the people in the kitchen. And they ended up sneaking me out chicken and salad like throughout my whole term of eight months. But that was my bright idea. to when Michael Cohen first, his first day in prison, which is pretty well. That's hilarious because it's like the little things, right? Because if this was real life, you know, you're trying to get away with other shit.

But in prison, you're like, okay, the best we can do here is smuggle chicken. So I'm going to need you to smuggle that chicken. Yes. People were trying to smuggle protein and pre-work out. That was the main thing. You rarely, you saw drugs here and there, but it was rare. Yeah. It was mainly they were trying to smuggle protein out the back or anyway, possible, and pre-work.

workout. And a lot of times that guys got caught a lot and they'd just be like have to go to solitary confinement. And also there was one time that Billy McFarlane, I believe, was caught with some sort of recording device and they threw his ass in solitary confinement. That doesn't shock me. I'm not shocked me. I could see. I could see him doing some risky behavior. So then eventually I heard they sent him to another prison or whatever. That's something you don't want to do. In a federal prison you want to sort of walk the fine line. Do what you're supposed to and stay out of trouble. Or else.

And you get sent to like the bad places. Which like no one wants to go to those ones. Because where you were, it sounds like obviously it's not a comfortable situation by all means. You're trying to smuggle chicken. Like you don't have enough chicken to eat. Yes. But I feel like it can get way worse than where you were. Yes.

Where I was, like I said, it was all nonviolent offenders. Yeah. So there were no cells. It was fra. I was going to say were you afraid at all of anybody? Well, no, no. It wasn't that you were afraid. It was just the fact that if you got into a fight and they called it shooting the fair one behind the gym, that's what they'd say.

They're like, yo, you want to shoot the fair one because? And if you did and if you were caught, they would throw you in the real prison. At the same time, I never saw anyone shooting the fair one. I think it's a funny phrase. Yeah, yeah. I guess it's called like, you know, you can catch these hands. Right, right. Free smoke.

Same thing. Free smoke. Yeah. But that was it. If you were caught fighting, you were, you know, reprimanded. And like I said, everyone that was in there was nonviolent offenders. You had bankers and politicians. And it was sort of similar to like oranges of new black.

It was uncomfortable because the food was not good. Your mattress was not very comfortable. And you shared a bathroom with 100 savages. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? The bathrooms here are gross. I can't even imagine the bathrooms there. Like in person.

Dude, you'd walk in and the bathroom sometimes you're like, oh, damn, somebody shit on the floor. Oh, shit. Oh. Yes. Yes. I didn't want to say it. No, I mean, but look at Lauren's face. But it happens. That's crazy. Yeah. I walk in there and be like, oh, somebody shit on the floor. And then what are you supposed to do about it? Because then you walk out, people think you shit on the floor. Yes. No, I'm like super, super positive. So like I'd come out and make a joke like, dog, like you've got to go in the bathroom, man. Like, you know, check that out. Like, you know what I'm saying? It's happening right now. It is happening. Go in the bathroom. And like, I think that's why the guys really liked me because I had a good sense of humor and it. And I was very positive. I think he helped with their time to go faster. Yeah, tell me about the people would write my wife letters and say how.

Really? And like thank him for being in there. Really? Helping like them to be positive. Yeah. And just showing them like another way to do their time instead of sulking. Right. Right.

Right. Stay positive. Yeah. That's awesome. And the people that were in there for eight months, they watched his weight transformation. Yeah. He went in at 220. You know, pretty happy and jolly.

He came out 180 shredded. Yeah. And they watched him every day. They could have been working alongside him or whatever, but they saw it happen. They saw what you could do with that time. And what bothers us sometimes, and I don't really address the haters ever, but sometimes people like, you're on steroids. I'm like, bro, I'm on freaking probation.

Yeah, yeah. I get tested every other week for illegal substances. Yeah. Like, I'm flattered. Do you think I'm on steroids? And they test for that. Yeah. You know what I'm saying?

They send it out. So, you know, I'm flattered and all. Exactly. Take it as a compliment. I'm still ripped people thinking I'm on style. Yeah, but we still got a situation 10 years later, kid. Yeah. Are you planning to keep this healthy lifestyle as you go on after this time?

Yes. I work out, both me and my wife, we practice fitness in our family as well as positivity. We work out five days minimum, six days a week usually with one day off and one cheat day, which we just started filming our cheat day and putting it on YouTube because we just have like epic cheat We just order like the whole menu Right, right, right And like just like eat our best life Yeah

Now have you guys Since you've been home Have you watched the season Now that you haven't been on it Like to see what's what's been going down With the rest of the Jersey Shore fam? I actually watched it in prison Oh okay

I did watch it in prison My gosh Did you watch with other people around you? I did because the guys allowed me View and party Yeah they allowed me to watch Jersey Shore I say allow because the guys that have that have been in prison for for years sort of control the TV control the TV so they sort of was like

all right they liked me and we would watch jersey show every Thursday at eight seven central yeah I'm gonna tear up and my and my wedding was actually on while I was in prison and like I would like be like watching it and any time like I'd start to be like catch myself in my feelings and I'm around like a bunch of dudes in prison I'm like I gotta catch myself before these guys see me yeah um you know tear up over here They were tearing up. A lot of them you said we're tearing up. Yeah, because it had a lot to do with my case in the beginning of season, whatever season that was in the beginning of season three or whatever. It was the sentencing in the case and going to prison.

So they could relate to all that was their family. Yeah. But my main goal with, you know, facing this situation in the public eye was just to try to hold my head high and handle the situation like a G. With grace and class and sort of show the younger generation how to handle adversity not to be a little bitch. Yeah. And you know what? I feel like now that you're out, like have you passed that on to the rest of your cast member? Because I feel like sometimes some of them need a little bit of like a Mike pep top.

They were really missing that when you were in there. Yeah, I try to speak to Ronnie all the time. I feel like he's slowly starting to absorb some of the inspiration that I've been given him. Plus, I've been through very similar situations. You know, I tell them all the time, listen. I'm like, I've done a lot of stupid shit in my life, and that's why I'm giving you advice right now. Right, right. You know what I'm saying?

So, but I'm sure that he'll find his way. You know, we believe that the comeback is greater than the setback. Yeah. And he'll catch on. Great. More words of wisdom. I feel like a lot of people are wondering this because we see this with, I don't know if you guys follow like Teresa and Joe Judice and, you know, they separated because they both

went away. How did you guys keep your spark? Because, you know, you were away for eight months and you were. You can visit, but you're not, like, hanging out as if you usually would. Yes. I was super positive. Like, super, super positive. Like, I, there were days where I wasn't in the best mood, but I had no choice because

I was trying to be positive for my wife, be positive for our family. So, every day I would write her, like, you know, letters via email with, like, like, cool quotes and positive things and let her know, you know, what she should be doing on and what she should be focusing on. Yeah. For us, we had to keep the communication lines open like 100% of the time. So there was never days where like we didn't email or we didn't speak to each other. Like that didn't happen.

So it was just over communication to make sure we didn't feel like we lost touch. And then when I would visit him, they don't, where he was, they didn't kick you out in like an hour or two. So I would spend like every Friday there. And I would stay for like five to six hours. And I would like download him on everything that happens that like you couldn't get into on the phone. or email. So we spent a lot of time together alone. And like they have games there.

We played Scrabble together. We spent a lot of time together. So an eight months was, I don't know how people do any longer than that because that felt like an eternity to me. But we found a way to keep it in touch. Shout out to you for being so dedicated as a wife because some people just. A lot of people just don't do pull their end of it.

I feel like with that situation. Plus you relied a lot on your fitness too. When I came home, you were just so like into your fitness. Worked out and I stayed healthy. Yep. Like I don't really go out. I'm not like a big partier.

So for me, I was just focused on being healthy, working out and hanging out with my dog. Yep. Yeah. That is what we love to do. Snuggle with a dog with a bowl of snacks and some, you know, Netflix or our favorite movie or something. Keep the romance alive. I have to say, it is so crazy and also just I love to see you like this, Mike, because it's just such a contrast. And even your castmates talk about in this season of Jersey Shore because they miss you and they miss having you around.

What is that feeling like because there obviously were points of contention when, you know, the old Jersey show was on and you were fighting with people? But now you are so loved and so wanted. Yeah. Back in my 20s, I wasn't my best self. You know, we all go through those experimental phases and things like that. And I just feel like that I'm back to the person I was meant to be, you know. And I'm very grateful to have the friendships that I have that have turned to become family. I'm very grateful I was able to marry my college sweetheart here.

And now I'm just focused on being my best self. And it really shows when I'm with my friends, when I'm working, the energy that I exude into the room. And people, it's not fake. You can tell right away it's not fake. It's real. So my friends appreciate that. My employers, my employers appreciate it. And it's just, you know, positive begets positive, you know.

It just really, and if you are negative, the same happens. So it just, it's just the testament to being positive no matter what happens in life. And you can really turn around any situation. Yeah. You're making me not want to be negative whatsoever. Like I feel like I need to change my entire life around after this. Sometimes it's exactly what you need to hear. And it's easy to, it's easy to be negative.

It's harder to be positive when sometimes things get tough. And Lauren, I wanted to mention because you've been super open about how you guys have wanted to grow a family and the struggles that you guys have had. And I just want to thank you because I think that's very important. And you don't hear from people of your celebrity status who are open about it and talk about it. How has that been for you? So I thought we had gone through some really hard things in life. And I thought we were like pretty solid. And then that happened on October 26.

And I was just destroyed. And I couldn't, I couldn't like go on. And I didn't know where to start and trying to like pick myself up. So, you know, he really stood by me and just kept me, kept reminding me of how we got through everything else in the past. Like sticking with the basics, doing the next best thing. Just getting up, taking a shower. Like, you know, putting on your robe and feeling comfortable. Like just trying to get through each hour and then each day.

And after like two weeks had gone by, my hormones kind of settled. I just felt like by holding on to it, I was being toxic to myself. And it's probably a big part of us being transparent and sharing so much of our personal life publicly. Because then I went back on social media and I'm looking and all of our amazing fans and comments and messages are like, oh my God, you guys are so strong. We love you guys. And I'm like, you have no fucking idea. Because prison and addiction is as hard as all that was. This was the worst thing I've ever gotten through in my life.

And I just felt like I needed to share it to heal myself and also to help other people healing throughout the process. Because when I was looking for information, everyone's story or any public figure that I had seen would share once they had their rainbow baby. And like all these happy endings, which is incredible. And God willing, I'll be here every day. But I couldn't, I can't wait until then.

I wanted to get it off my chest now and just put it in the past and move forward. Right. Right. Very, very proud of this woman right here. Yeah. It's incredible. Yes. What's the two of you have?

And you can feel it in the room. You really can. Like, it's being repetitive at this point, but just saying how positive you guys are, it's just such a great energy to feel and such a change. And like I said, it makes me want to change, like immediately after the sense. I'm like, I need to be positive at all times. On a light note to wrap it up with you guys, Mike, what's coming up? I know we don't see the next season until next year.

I mean, the rest of the season until next year, but we've seen little teasers of stuff coming up. Yeah, there's a lot happening right now. But first and foremost, I am four years clean and sober. Congratulations. And hence why I'm here. And we just partnered with Banyan Treatment Centers pretty much to spread awareness about the disease of addiction and substance abuse. And they pretty much document me coming home from prison and me and my wife settling back into life. as well as we have something else happening as well. There might be a, honey, you could. So we're working on in 2020 a recovery show, spin-off. I was going to guess that. That's also a close second to my book suggestion, but I'll put it off.

The book, we're working on the book, but it's a long. Those can go together. Yeah. So we're really excited to bring, like we are always excited to bring awareness of recovery. but to bring it on such a bigger level. Yes, big platform. Yeah, huge. That's like our goal.

Yeah, and it's just mainly spreading positivity. And we're going to be, I believe we're going to help millions with this. So it's going to be cool. Definitely. That's going to be amazing. It's going to be dope. Yeah.
