Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. This is state of emergency. What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Wednesday. Today's day, this episode is filled with a ton of Friday energy. I hope everyone is feeling that way.
Starting point is 00:00:35 Hopefully everyone had an amazing start to their week, and this episode is only going to make it better. Up day. Yep. Ooh, that didn't hit his heart. No, it didn't. But Francesca. Uh-uh-uh.
Starting point is 00:00:46 Yes. Big freaking day. Big day. Your gift is here. I have retrieved it. Now, let me preface this by saying, remember when I said I had two gifts for you? One was kind of like an eh.
Starting point is 00:00:58 Yeah. Like it was just like a throwaway. And then one was like the big thing. Yeah. I have the big thing. Okay. The throwaway in which I've had for weeks now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:06 Just forgot to bring it with me. So it's going to be a week of presents because I'll give that to you on Thursday. Okay. I'm very upset because I was going to give you the little thing. That was like whatever. But you would still very much enjoy it. It gets funny. And then the big thing after.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Okay. So now there's no pump, which was I was excited about, there's no free present to take away from the big one to make the big room. There was no warm up. No foreplay. Okay. And so I'm upset about that. I was driving and I said, fuck. I forgot the other one.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Okay. I have it though. I don't have to go to Long Island to get like it's, I just, you'll have it on Thursday. Besides the point, the big one is here. And you know what it is. Noah has known this whole time. Right. I've sent him it in progress.
Starting point is 00:01:51 Like, I have gotten updates about this thing. Yeah, I'm telling you, I would just like to go on the record for saying I have literally no idea what this is because I know it's small and I feel like it is something like Harry Potter oriented because of... Based on... I gave you that hint. Well, you didn't give me that hint. Well, I openly said in front of Austin and Craig.
Starting point is 00:02:17 Well, yes, based on Austin and Craig, Austin asked me about Harry Potter and then Maria being like, oh, I got to show you for its birthday birthday present. So I knew by doing that, she would know that it was Harry Potter affiliated. Now, when I show you, you're not going to be like, oh, I knew it was that. That's what I'm saying. And you don't know. You don't have any... No.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Okay, so are you ready? Are you ready? I'll be honest. I have not even, like, I've wanted to be very... really surprised so I haven't let myself like sit at home and be like put two and two together. Can you close your eyes though for a second? Because I'm taking it out of my sweatshirt pocket and I don't want it to have fuzzies on it. Okay. Eyes are closed. Okay. All right. Should I put it on the table? I feel like on the table. Okay, I'm going to put it on the table.
Starting point is 00:02:56 Don't. Actually, I'm going to put it in my hands. In your hands? I'm going to put it in my hands. Okay. One, two, three, open. Oh my God. That is. so not what I was expecting. That was so not what I was expecting. Wow, my own wizard. It's you. I know it's me. It has my name. Yeah. Oh my gosh. Am I, what am I? Am I a reed-a-claw? Am I a griffindore? Am I a griffindore? You're a griffindore. I love it. Oh my God. It's so cute. I'm so cute. It's a pretty good job. Thank you. Well, don't thank me. Thank the woman in China who made it. I have to say in the early stages, I was top pictures of it. I was
Starting point is 00:03:42 saw pictures of it and I was like... Oh, I could only imagine it probably looked absolutely. I was like worried. Yeah, in the early stages before they like melted and make it into a thing. Yeah. That's a cool guess. She is. I don't know about your reaction. I love it. What do you mean? I think it's so cute. This is me... I mean, all I want is this to me
Starting point is 00:04:00 me in real life. I know. I know. I thought it was cool. I love it. Thank you very much. You're welcome. I don't know about her reaction, though. You guys, guys, give me a break. The buildup has been so long. I know. Like, there was no perfect way to react to this. There was no perfect way, but like, you know, that's pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:04:17 I'm, I am, I really like it. People should watch on YouTube to see it. Oh, yeah, I guess I should like describe it. Yeah, we just, okay, we were just like jump right into it. It is a Fran Bottlehead, but it's me and I'm fully a wizard and I'm dressed like a wizard. I got wand in my hand, book in the other, right ahead to class. She's a griffindore wizard. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:37 Custom made. Custom made in my little. I think it's pretty good. I think it is pretty good. Can you hold it next to you? Can I take a picture of you? The hair is on point. I had to send photographs of you.
Starting point is 00:04:48 It's a little, it's a little masculine. Well, it's a bobblehead. I know. All bobbleheads to me are masculine. No, no, no. Straight face. Straight face. She's like she's making a straight face.
Starting point is 00:05:02 Oh, that is spot on, in my opinion. Look at each other. Oh, wow. Yeah, that is spot on. Cool, right? It is very. cool and she's got it she does have a very good um bubble she does i had to send photos of you i had to you know i mean yeah it took it's to cost and that's why it took
Starting point is 00:05:26 so long it's like a gudu doll like now like if i throw that thing franz's gonna no it looks you're not gonna get you know can i tell you the only thing that i get the only thing in my head that i was like i thought it because you kept saying it was small i was like what could this be was I was like, does she just like give me a snitch which would have been like honestly not that exciting? No, that wouldn't be exciting at all. No, no. Like imagine all the
Starting point is 00:05:53 like a golden snitch. All this time I was like, oh my god, this amazing no, this is custom. No, this is me. China. China. On Etsy for those who are interested in me. I think it's a really good gift idea for people who want to create something. Totally is. It's a good. You can also do it for like, any kind of like fandom. Yes. You know,
Starting point is 00:06:14 you, I was, but somebody like, it wasn't like Harry Potter specific. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I want this to be a Harry Potter.
Starting point is 00:06:18 Yeah. I went on Etsy and I typed in Harry Potter custom made bobblehead. So that's like what you thought. You went in with the idea of a bobblehead? Yes. Oh, that's very, that's very creative.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Thank you. And then I found. I'm just saying I would have never thought of that. And then I don't know. No, no, I mean, I would just like, yeah,
Starting point is 00:06:36 I don't know how that I would have crossed my mind. Yeah. Yeah. And then I went and found somebody who made You can make it anything. I could have made you a doctor, a lawyer, anything I wanted to make you. I could meet you a podcast host. Yep, yep.
Starting point is 00:06:47 But you Francesca today have become a wizard. But I'm a wizard. So congratulations. Wow. Thank you so much. You're welcome. Where are you going to put her? I feel like she should be on my desk.
Starting point is 00:06:57 In the office or at home? Because you don't have a desk at home. Oh, okay. Because as I was I say, you don't really sit at your desk. Well, what about, what about, yes, it would be good in a new studio. I like her in the studio. But then I think I need to get one made of myself. But this studio, I'm.
Starting point is 00:07:10 I'd be worried about it getting damaged if it's just like in the studio. So what about if I put her on the big bookshelf I have in my apartment? Yeah. You know, that's like behind my kitchen table. Listen, I'm not going to force you to put her anywhere. But you never sit at your desk at work. No, I don't. So I don't think you'll ever see her.
Starting point is 00:07:28 You are her to see her every day. But like a bobblehead. I just wanted to be put into good. Like a bobblehead is in it has to be in like a prominent. Yeah. I just think it's something that should be valued. Not just thrown on to her desk. When we get a new studio, maybe it could be on like a shelf.
Starting point is 00:07:42 It could be on a shelf and maybe I'll get made one of myself. I showed my brother and he goes, where's yours? And I was like, no, no, this is a gift for fun. I'll be honest, it would have been kind of hilarious if you pulled this out and then you were like, and I got me one. Well, I almost got. And here's her friend. I almost got you and Joe.
Starting point is 00:08:00 And then I thought, nah. That would have been kind of, that would have been. She does doubles. Yeah, yeah. And I was just like, no. Well, he's not a wizard. I'm a wizard. Right.
Starting point is 00:08:07 I was just like, why, why does he get a different? Yeah, like he doesn't get to be a wizard. No, no, no. You do, though. So, happy birthday a month later. Thank you. I love you. I will, I think this goes on the bookshelf in my apartment.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Yeah. Right on. Face her out there. I was looking at her. Come on. I was looking at the hair. That's weird. The hair details.
Starting point is 00:08:25 The hair is spot on. Yeah, there's a lot of like really, I'd love to, she sent you any videos of her doing this? Well, she sent me, it's very, like, it's very, like, you want to see the progress photos. Like, like, Fran, I want to show you the first. I was going to make a really mean joke. The first one that I should.
Starting point is 00:08:40 showed Noah. I also like that she's kind of like a little well-endowed, you know? She's got some nice groups. She's got some cities. I sent her pictures. The first photos that I sent Noah and Devin, I can tell
Starting point is 00:08:56 that you guys were like a little nervous. Because it was the pre-melting stage. And you both, you and Devin both were like, it's great. Yeah, well, what am I going to say? But I mean, it's not awful. You could just tell It's not, it wasn't, yes.
Starting point is 00:09:11 It wasn't melted. Well, I didn't know what it was going to be. Good picture, though, I sent. Honestly, that's pretty good. Right, like, I was like, I could tell this is going to be good. I know that it's not melted yet. I mean... Wait, what was the reference photo?
Starting point is 00:09:24 That looks pretty good if you asked me. The reference photo was this. Oh. She got, like, the eyeliner on top of the eyes, like, spot on. No, I actually really do think that. I mean, that photo you just showed me was pretty accurate. And I was like, send it. Done.
Starting point is 00:09:37 Yeah, it's done. Send it, baby. She photographs very well. She does. I took actually some videos of her in my home yesterday. It was like flat Stanley. Yeah. I should have taken a bunch of pictures of me like driving with her. Yeah. If we ever go to London, we should take her. That would have been a funny video of her journey to the office.
Starting point is 00:09:58 Yeah. With you. Ah, shit. God. It's all right. Are we creative after the fact. I know, I know. Well, your creativity came from thinking of making me of my own bobblehead. Should we bring her to the Boston show? I just don't want her to break. We need to get her a carrying case. Yeah. Yep.
Starting point is 00:10:14 A glass box. Yeah. I'm just afraid. What's she made of? I have no idea. Like it's like, it's like very, it feels very interesting. I have no idea. Clay?
Starting point is 00:10:25 I would say Clay. Yeah. Because she said, I would have to go back. I don't feel like going back and finding my conversations with this woman right now, but she told me the whole process of how it's made. Yeah, because I could feel on her, on her, on her robes. How? You have some maleability here.
Starting point is 00:10:40 talented is this person though extremely yeah like that is a talent very impressive that is quite a talent to do that yes it is well anybody who's listening should just watch on YouTube because you're not going to get to see the the bobblehead we will post pictures though obviously we're going to have to have friend get into a full
Starting point is 00:10:56 griffindore outfit you're right you know the titties do match I'm happy about that she's got nice breasts yeah so do you so it makes sense wow you know I've never done like a full like I never was like Hermione for Halloween, which is weird because you think I would have.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Like I've never done a Harry Potter Halloween costume. Maybe you should do that this year. Oh wait, wedding. I can't. I have a wedding. On Monday? Monday's Halloween. Yeah, but I feel like I've I feel like I've aged out of coming in dressed up. You came in Billy. I did. I did it. It was very fun, but I was also like the only one in the office dressed up for Halloween. You were. I was nobody else up. But everyone else appreciated it. I don't even think I was here. Yeah. You weren't. No, I wasn't. No, we can't.
Starting point is 00:11:43 In the Monday morning, we come in early and it's like, what, you got to put on a holiday. You guys to travel in? No. No. But maybe one day. Do you like that it says Francesca and not Fran? I do, yes. I would have been a little, that would have been unlike you.
Starting point is 00:11:57 I thought that was a sign of respect. It is. It is. You're right. It is. I absolutely think it is. Well, she wouldn't, she wouldn't really be me. She also wouldn't be a wizard named Fran.
Starting point is 00:12:08 Let's be real. Not Francesca is a wizard. Yeah. Exactly. Francesco Zorsard. Fran, I don't know who she is. She really does photograph so well. I think she does. And I think she resembles you. Like, obviously, you're way prettier. But I'll be, I will say like that, like that looks like me. Yes. I think in the photos, it comes off. That looks like you. Yes. Like I said, you're obviously prettier than the bobblehead. But I think she resumed. Well, everyone's prettier than their bobblehead. You're not supposed to have a pretty bobblehead. Those things don't exist. That's like when you go to get your caricature done and people are like offended by their. caricature. It's like, no, you're supposed to look stupid. Right. So I think she's great. No, I love the bobblehead. I think she honestly is stunning. My eyebrows are pretty accurate too. The eyebrows and the
Starting point is 00:12:52 eyes, I think, are really spot on here and the hair. Yeah. Yep. Let's place her up there for the episode. Noah's going to. Noah, I'm always watching. It's like when Dobby was when I brought Dobby. Yeah. It's like, I don't want to be looking right at me. She is always staring at you. I'm always watching. I want to get myself one so that they can hang out. I feel like you should too. But what should she be, you know? Oh.
Starting point is 00:13:19 A pharmacy tech? Catholic school girl could be the same outfit. Oh, I could get a Catholic schoolgirl one. Interesting. I'll think about it. Catholic schoolgirl in the same. We'd be pretty much matching. I would just have a wand.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Your wizard, I'm not. I think that is a great gift idea, though, for anyone out there. That is a great gift idea. So if anyone out there going Etsy. Also, like for good. special occasion. Like even if it was like, because I have in my head all these weddings, like that's a good wedding gift too to get the couple.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Yeah, them to do the double and like a wedding dress and a suit. Like that's really a cute idea too. Right. Somebody gets engaged. Yeah. Yeah. Just saying. And you can write like you can write like the date on the on the stand. Yep. Yep. Just saying. Think about it. So creative. Go on Etsy. Type in custom bobblehead and there's tons of options. You can really get anything on Etsy. You really can.
Starting point is 00:14:08 There were so many things. that I was thinking about getting you. Like, I don't know. There were so many different options. Honestly, I was going to get you one of those, it's not a bobblehead, but it is. What are those things called? The pop.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Oh, the pop, pop. P-O-P-Xlamation point dolls, right? Yes. But then I was like, no. Well, because they don't have any distinct features, really. You know, they all have the same face. I could have picked anyone up and told you it was, you. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:14:36 Well, there it is. So the people who thought that they missed it, they did. and it really just took that long. So if you do plan on getting it, make sure you get it far in advance because it takes a little bit. Custom made, baby. I love her.
Starting point is 00:14:47 All right, I wish that... She does need a carrying case. She does. She does like, I can't take her around with me. No, she needs to be photographed. It's like those Pelican cases, like just a black suitcase. They should, in the Harry Potter store
Starting point is 00:14:59 in New York City, and now this would probably be hard. They should have a station where people can go and, yeah, and make their own custom-made bobblower. Yeah, that's a good idea. Maybe you have to pick it up at a later date, but like you send in. Right.
Starting point is 00:15:12 They do have you can go in and like make your own, get your own custom rules. You know how they do like 3D printers? It like scans your whole body. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Video game. They'm sure they have the technology. That's what they just did for like Trent in that golf video game. They like scanned his whole body.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Yeah, that's how you become a video game character. Should I get Trent about it for like no reason one day and just give it to him on the show? It's a him and a suitcase. Yeah, like him and a luggage. That would be very cute. We could all give it to him and just like. When's France birthday? It's in March.
Starting point is 00:15:41 Oh, shit. I think. Why did I know that? Why did you know that? I don't know. Is it in March? I think his birthday's in March. I'm actually going to ask him right now.
Starting point is 00:15:49 That would be a good gift. Commemorative. But I also feel like people, we should run that idea by, like, our own merch team. I feel like people would buy a luggage guy, Trap, Boblehad. We're in Fran Bobbohead? No, they would buy, they wouldn't buy us. I don't know if they would buy us. They would buy a Trent.
Starting point is 00:16:10 Well, like Trent as like a golfer, that would be like, yeah. No, Trent would, I think people will buy Trent holding a luggage bobblehead. No, but I want to gift that to Trent first for no reason at all just to throw him off. Just because he would be, I would be like, why'd you get this to me? He would be thrown off. He'd be like, why'd you get this for me? What's behind it? No one tell Trent this idea, guys.
Starting point is 00:16:28 Yeah, don't tell Trent. Do not. I think we're going to. We could, we could execute this for sure. We could. I'm going to have to send it far in advance, though. You just got to message to the person again. Hey, me again.
Starting point is 00:16:40 What's up? I got a new guy. Got a new guy. New person to Bobba. But how funny would a Trent Bobblehead look? It would be hilarious. All right. Let's get into the show.
Starting point is 00:16:50 We got a ton of... Anything else? Oh, well, can I just tell you what the other... What? I don't know. I wasn't saying gifts. I was just saying on your mind. Oh, my mind is I had a really...
Starting point is 00:17:00 She's thinking about the other gift. You'll love that one. Like, I just want to tell you what it is. Can I just tell you what it is? Yeah. Just tell me what it is. It's going to make you feel better. It's a candle.
Starting point is 00:17:10 with Nick Jonas's face on the side and it says, I couldn't get you Nick Jonas, so I got you something that smelled like him. I love that. That's a good candle. It is. And it's so cute. It would fit perfectly right next to her.
Starting point is 00:17:23 And I've had it since your birth. I've had it on your birthday. And I was like, no, I don't want to like give this. I want to give it together. No, no, no. I love that. I've seen. Where did you get that?
Starting point is 00:17:31 Etsy. Yeah. I was going to say, I think I've seen those. Wait, what does it smell like? Nick Jonas, obviously. Yeah, I picked a scent. I think I picked vanilla. You can like pick something, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:41 You can customize it. Vanilla is a safe one, I think. I picked something like vanilla. I don't know. Whatever. That sounds amazing. Can we light it in here? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:49 It's not meant to be lit at your house. Yeah, yeah. You know what I mean? It's more of decoration for here. We have that candle that's in here, but there's like a poker chip stuck in it. And I don't know how that happened. I think Devin said she put it in yesterday.
Starting point is 00:18:01 His birthday's March 9th. Called it. You were right. I don't really like that smell. I think it's been like that. You don't like the smell. Well, maybe my Nick Jonas's candle will be better. I'm being kidding.
Starting point is 00:18:10 My candle right now is like the apple spice, like that type of fall. I'm also, I got some fall candles as well. Yeah. And then you make the transition. Speaking of Harry Potter, I bought the entire home sick, you know, those candles. They just came out. I'm telling you, I don't know what it is. But Harry Potter must, like, you must just now be able to license Harry Potter everything now.
Starting point is 00:18:33 Because all these companies are just collabing, making Harry Potter stuff. And I'm just like, I'm buying. so much stuff. Like I can't resist. And I get targeted ads. Kelly and I send them back and forth. Because we get targeted ads like glasses, jewelry,
Starting point is 00:18:50 candles. The other day Kelly got, Kelly got one that was like baby clothes. Oh, what? Yes. It's like all, you get Harry Potter like everything. And so Homestick now has a line of Harry Potter candles and they're for all the houses, Grevent, Doher and Huffelpuff, Ravencalf,
Starting point is 00:19:08 or even call candles. And then they have a three-wick Hogwarts one, which I bought the whole set. I would expect nothing else from you. I was like, how could I choose? It was also like one of those things where like it's, if you're going to buy three, you might as well get all of them. What? I want her looking at Noah.
Starting point is 00:19:24 I want to hold her again. She's kind of. She's freaking Noah out. Last night. It's got a good bobble. You know how I said to put things on in the background when I, when I'm working? Yes. I put the Harry Potter reunion thing on just as white noise.
Starting point is 00:19:37 Oh, guys. I didn't even talk about Robbie Culture. dying on Monday. That is my fault. And I should have brought it up. I know. Yeah. But RIP, that was devastating news over the weekend. And you know like, you, you know like when you maybe love something a little too much when I was getting dead serious texts from people in my life being like, Fran, I'm, I'm so sorry about Hagrid. Like, and I was like, thank you so much. Like, they felt like they had to,
Starting point is 00:20:10 Which give me condolences. But it was, that hit hard. He was really not that old. And I felt like he was very, he was just like a great person. And all the actors had like such nice things to say about him always. And of course, there's a clip. That's the clip from the reunion where he's like, you know, 50 years.
Starting point is 00:20:33 Like these, that's so great about the movies. My children, my grandchildren, they'll be able to watch them. I won't be here. but Hagrid will. Oh, which is going to make me cry again. I know, I... That is really sweet. A 50 years, Fray, won't be here, but...
Starting point is 00:20:46 My Bottlehead will be. I, um, picture this. It's, I'm sitting in a... I'm sitting at that table. Well, hopefully 50 years, Fran will be. No, I'm... God, no. That's not wood.
Starting point is 00:20:58 I know, that's wood. Knock on that. I just feel like a knock for anything helps. It's supposed to knock on your head when you can't find wood. Oh, really? I didn't know that. Why is that supposed to be? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:21:07 I didn't make the rules. I said, picture, like, I was sitting at the outdoor table having a soup and a beer on Friday in Alexandria. And I got that news. I was sitting there. I really actually was crying alone at this table. And people probably thought that. Maybe I thought I went through a breakup.
Starting point is 00:21:28 Like I got ditched. I was alone. Something to cry over for sure. Like a couple tears were falling. Well, that clip just gets me every time. But it also should make you feel comforted. It is. It is.
Starting point is 00:21:42 And it's what I love about Harry Potter so much. It makes that's like such a good powerful meaning behind Harry Potter. It will live on. It will live on forever. Do you have any like celebrities you think that if they died, people would reach out to you, like almost like their family member? Me? Yeah. I mean, like any of the Jonas brothers for you probably.
Starting point is 00:22:01 I don't even want to discuss the possibility. Right. No. We have to stop talking about death. And potential death. And for people. that we love like that. No, no, no more.
Starting point is 00:22:11 Robiculture is hard enough. I do not, we don't have to go through hypotheticals. Don't put it out there. Yeah, exactly. I don't like that energy right now. Moving on, moving on, moving on. We have a great episode. We are going to be talking about the
Starting point is 00:22:22 Nanny. Crazy Daily Mail article where Olivia Wilde and Jason Sadecas's Nanny revealed a bunch of text messages, salad dressing, things got real crazy. I don't know what's going on here. And also James Corden was banned
Starting point is 00:22:36 from a restaurant, although the ban has been lifted unfortunately. He was banned. And we have a great recap slash interview with Ashley and Jared. When you say good boy, I think a dog, no matter what you You can't say anything nice or affection in front of Noah without him bursting out laughing. He was such a good boy. He was so good.
Starting point is 00:23:08 He's a boy. What did you want us to say? I just... Baby? No, I don't want you going to say anything. I just thought it was funny. I would say, yeah, what a cute baby. I did say that said, what a cute little munchkin. He was such a good boy. He was a good boy. He was a good boy. It was a very normal thing to say. Don't worry. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:23:23 It was a very normal thing to say. Okay. Anyways, let's get into it. Starting off with Olivia and Jason. Olivia Wilde and Jason Sedegas's nanny decided to open her big mouth and talk to the Daily mail and reveal everything she could about Jason, Olivia, their split, Harry Styles, Florence, Pugh. Things were wild. I was reading this Daily Mail article with my jaw on the floor getting wider and wider as the article went on. She prefaced it by saying that she worked for Olivia and Jason for three years. She was around the couple. She took care of the kids. She put them to bed, you know, did all the things that a nanny does. she said that the claims that Olivia said that her and Jason split up 10 months prior to her filming
Starting point is 00:25:09 Don't worry darling were not true. Apparently Olivia, this is all alleged coming from the nanny. Yes. That Olivia and Jason split when Olivia struck a relationship with Harry Stiles on the set of Don't Worry, darling. She said she started spending more time at work. Jason started losing his mind. One day Olivia Wilde made Harry Stiles a salad with her special salad dressing and Jason Sadekis lost his mind and threw himself under Olivia Wilde's
Starting point is 00:25:37 car so that she wouldn't leave with the salad and the dressing. She revealed text messages where Jason was like she left us, she fucking left us, losing his mind. Olivia Wilde, not being able to answer calls. Just crazy. Then Jason Stadakis... There's like a drunken potential... She was fired. Jason Sakesis was apparently drunk and angry,
Starting point is 00:25:58 fired her. for texting Olivia Wilde. And now she doesn't, she was like, she couldn't claim unemployment. It's very, the timing is very interesting. The Yankees are playing right now. They clearly just,
Starting point is 00:26:11 something good must have happened. If anybody, you probably can't actually hear it, but the walls of our, oh, they can. Trust me, they can, yeah. The walls of our studio just shook a little bit, so that's happening. But the, it was very interesting one, like, that this nanny
Starting point is 00:26:31 had the ability to do this? Or She's never going to get another nanny gig with a celebrity Well she's anonymous so you don't know what her
Starting point is 00:26:42 But like if she did Like if she went to go get another job and was like Oh here are my references She's certainly not calling Olivia and Jason for a reference But she's not so anonymous Because there was a video
Starting point is 00:26:54 That was revealed Where her name was said And then the video was taken out of the article And so the video still is circulating. Okay. So she's not totally anonymous. I'm not exactly, I don't know her name because I didn't go searching for these videos. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:07 They did pop up my TikTok and I kind of just scrolled past it because the article was kind of enough for me to take in. But the details are so ridiculous that it's like how is this made up. But it's also like what celebrity nanny or nanny that works for celebrities has the ability to do this. Like I just feel like they are so locked up. with an like they got to sign an NDA I can't imagine that Jason and Olivia wouldn't sue the shit out of her for doing this that's why I'm confused I don't know why she would speak up
Starting point is 00:27:39 if you sign an NDA unless you had millions of dollars to pay for that what do you and also not sign an NDA how did the Daily Mail even find her right and what are you gaining from doing this it wasn't really about her then she revealed that Olivia told Harry that Florence and Harry were hooking up and people think that was just to cover her tracks that she was talking up with Harry.
Starting point is 00:28:01 They shared a kiss or something at the first like dinner. Yeah. I think that not skinny but not fat, I think worded it good on her Instagram story where she said, you know, the only thing that people like they're focusing on what we're worried about is how Olivia has told everybody it's a load of bullshit that people would think I started dating Harry and Jason at the same time. Right. But besides that fact and where Olivia may be wrong in lying about that,
Starting point is 00:28:35 we are not sure how Jason Siddakis acted in that relationship. If Olivia wanted to leave him and left him, that is totally okay. Right. There's some good stuff happening. Yeah. Clearly. I feel like we're missing out. I've never heard the office this loud.
Starting point is 00:28:52 That is insane. I feel like the game is in our building. Right. We are part of the stance. but I think somebody must have hit a home run Olivia and Jason I can't even talk about this honestly this is a very funny like just the dichotomy of this is very funny
Starting point is 00:29:10 Right it's just like we're here talking about Olivia and Jason Yeah we're just like god damn it can we just talk about this fucking name The range the range that Barstle has so much range But man I think that that's a good point where it's like okay Olivia may be wrong in talking about you know she wasn't with she wasn't with Harry when she was with Jason, they split up and whatever, she's lying or not. To automatically be like ride or die for Jason Sedakis
Starting point is 00:29:40 is strange to me. Like Olivia's allowed to leave a relationship. You know what I mean? Like people are like, how dare Olivia leave Jason for Harry? And it's like, well, maybe, you know, her cheating on Jason Sedakis, not great. But her not wanting to be in a relationship with Jason, Stacis is perfectly okay.
Starting point is 00:30:00 Right. If something was going, you know, if she didn't feel happy in that relationship anymore, she didn't feel happy in that relationship anymore. She does not need to be dating Jason Stadakis. Yeah. And there's, it's also like, it's just interesting. How much did Harry know? Probably my guess would be not a lot.
Starting point is 00:30:17 Because I just feel like if you're in that scenario, you're not, you're not like telling the guy you like all about your, they hit a home run. They're, they hit a home run. Three nothing. Okay. I'm imagining Olivia's like, you won't believe what Jason did. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:30:31 He rolled in front of my car. Right, like she's definitely not doing that. I think she would. No, I don't think so. I think it's like, you want to play it off as like,
Starting point is 00:30:39 I'm available, I'm not, like you don't want to be rolling into a new relationship with like a ton of baggage. But shitting on your like ex like isn't normal. No.
Starting point is 00:30:50 You don't have like crazy my exes? No. Threw himself in my car. No, but you don't want to do that. Like, I find that to be very unattractive. if someone I'm dating, like, right off the bat is, like, shitting on their ex.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Yeah, immediately, it's like not a good time. But it's not shooting your ex. It's like, he jumped in front of my car. Right. But later on, like, when you guys have a closer relationship and you're like, here are the things he did. And you're like, whoa. But initially. When you're in, like, the flirting stages.
Starting point is 00:31:13 You don't automatically start talking about your relationship. No, no, no, no. And if I had to guess, like, Olivia's death, like, if you're playing that, if Olivia's playing that the way she wants the outcome to be of, like, you know, you're flirting with Harry styles, you want to make yourself as available as possible. Yeah, and you're not, you're not going to Harry, Jason just jumped in front of my car and Harry's like, oh, I'm in. Like that's going to scare somebody away and be like,
Starting point is 00:31:36 well, why is that happening? Clearly, there's still some sort of, like, clearly he's very upset and I don't want to get involved to that. So there's, there's all these screenshots, right? And of course, screenshots can be doctored and things can be made up. And who knows, this nanny could be a complete, full of her, like, complete, just lying. Maybe she wants money. Who knows what it but Jason and Olivia did put out a joint statement. It wasn't just one of them.
Starting point is 00:32:02 It was the two of them together. I liked them coming together even though it was not on video and it was a joint written statement. United front against their nanny. Like I said, there's something powerful about the written word. Yeah. As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly. her now 18 month
Starting point is 00:32:25 18 month long campaign of harassing us as well of loved ones close friends and colleagues has reached its unfortunate apex we will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose
Starting point is 00:32:37 to leave our family alone maybe the fucking nanny was like really harassing all of them maybe she wanted money maybe now she saw this as like a cash grab it was like oh if you don't pay me X amount I'm going to the taboids and talking about your relationship
Starting point is 00:32:52 and they said no and now she was like well fuck it I'm talking to the deal now couple things maybe you can get it before we do that can I also just I would love to
Starting point is 00:33:02 okay I don't know what the word scurrilous means it's a good word how do you spell it S-E-R-R-I-L-U S-U Making or spreading
Starting point is 00:33:14 scandalous claims about someone with the intention of damaging their reputation good use of that word It is there's a couple things one, if anything's going to bring Olivia and Jason together,
Starting point is 00:33:25 not in a relationship, but just as a united front, it's somebody going after it. Like, the nanny could make them be like, you know what? We got a band together here and get rid of this fucking nanny. Two, maybe there's a thing around the NDA because it was anonymous that, like, if you're not putting your name out there. No, there's no way. Those NDAs are so tight.
Starting point is 00:33:46 You know, we talk about NDAs. Do you even read them? Because it's like, Because it's like, when a situation like that, it's not like Jason and Olivia could be like, oh, God, like it's anonymous. Who could it be? Like, this could be anyone making a statement about us. It's like, no. The nanny gave very clear details.
Starting point is 00:34:07 They know exactly who the nanny is. Right, right, right. That's very true. So it's like, you know who did this. Well, listen. That's what is crazy to me. I'm like, how is this woman able to speak? I don't get how that happens.
Starting point is 00:34:18 People can fake text messages. Yeah. I've seen it. done before but yeah i people can fake text ABC has tighter clearly has tighter NDAs they can fake a lot of things Photoshop exists
Starting point is 00:34:30 something is telling me that these are not fake text messages though you know definitely it's hard to tell it's very hard to tell because they're so detailed that you'd be like they're very detailed somebody this crazy they could just be very out of context right it's just it's hard to decipher what's real what's not
Starting point is 00:34:46 it's also very believable that Jason and Olivia were fighting fighting and having a, we're in a very tough spot in their relationship. Whether or not, like, Harry was involved at that point or not. Like, they, the picture Olivia's painted is that they were clearly having issues beforehand. Now, honestly, I believe the text messages. How involved Harry was. I believe the text messages are real.
Starting point is 00:35:12 How involved Harry was at that time, I don't know. But it could be very possible. Of course, yes, the text messages do a, lead to that with Jason saying things like, you know, she left us and all these things. And I think everybody has also been very focused on this salad dressing, which is, I'm very focused on a salad dressing. Which appears to be a magic salad dressing. Clearly, it's like, it's a magic dressing. Now, do, uh, people talk about good, you know, I don't even want to say the word. The B word? Not B word. I was talking about, no, good pussy.
Starting point is 00:35:50 but Olivia's got that good balsamic or good dressing. Yeah, she's got that Jason's holding on to. Yeah. You know what I mean? And now Harry wants to be to that dressing. Well, Dumas posted that she had gone on the, I guess Olivia was on the food network at some point and shared a dressing and there was like a recipe for that.
Starting point is 00:36:05 So everyone was like, is this a dressing? Then someone else submitted that they know that Harry likes a good balsamic or a lemon dressing. Don't we all? Which, of course he does. Hit us up, Harry. Let's talk about it. Yeah, Harry's balsamic.
Starting point is 00:36:17 He, yeah, I guess that's just. then the story from the Daily Mail article of how the events transpired logically you can see it happening the details is what's crazy it's like Jason putting himself under her car so she can't leave the driveway
Starting point is 00:36:42 is fucking wild because she was leaving to give Harry the salad dressing, which is, that's what I'm saying. That salad dressing better be fucking delicious if I'm throwing my car under it. I would throw my car under your body under a car. Under a car for that balsamic from that place in Long Island. Yeah, it's, it's just like, that dressing must be damn good.
Starting point is 00:37:07 It's a crazy story. Do you know that trend on TikTok where it's like, did you cheat on me? And it's like, yeah. And it's like, well, did you do something else? Yeah. That's what it. Oh, you were having sex with Harry styles? whatever. Oh, he had the salad dressing and that's where he dropped. That's where Jason, he drew the line.
Starting point is 00:37:25 That because that was something special. She made him the salad dressing. He's making the same for Harry. Now, here's the question that lies. You know, I'm not going to lie. If my dad makes a salad dressing, his own, that's really good. And you're just bringing this up now? Well, it's not a balsamic. It's like a mustard vinegrette. Like it's sort of dressing. Yeah, it's absolutely delicious. It's so good. If I heard that he made that dressing for somebody else, we'd have a problem. That would be a big problem in your family. What do you mean someone else?
Starting point is 00:37:56 Like outside the family? Outside the family. Yeah, that's a problem. Well, without family members present. Oh. Like if he was like... Really? That would be a problem?
Starting point is 00:38:04 Yeah, it's our salad dressing. I know, but he's not giving them the ingredients. It's special to them. Yeah. Do you not understand what Jason was dealing? No, I'm just saying... With the dressing? No, no, but like, what, you just...
Starting point is 00:38:18 If it's so good, it's like, you want, people to No, but that came from love. It's made out of love. Also, sometimes people don't want to share their secret recipes. No, but you're not sharing the recipe. You're just sharing the taste. But the taste people can figure it out sometimes.
Starting point is 00:38:30 It's made out of love. No, that's the point. When Fran's dad makes that dressing, it's made out of love. And when Olivia made that dressing for Jason who's made out of love. And then when she made it for Harry, it was made out of fucking lust and love at the same time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:44 Because she clearly felt a connection with Harry. Now, here's the thing. if Olivia truly felt this connection with Harry Styles and Harry felt that way towards Olivia what are you going to do? You know what I mean? No I know maybe maybe it's just crazy that you I kind of thought like this situation had died down after the movie came out I felt like people would would just like let Harry and Olivia be at this point
Starting point is 00:39:07 Harry cannot be happy I was going to say do you think that this is going to put a strain yes on Harry and Olivia's relationship because Harry might be like you know what I am very public for him? done with like all this drama Olivia your dressing's great but it's not this great you know what they say like for every beautiful girl out there there's a man tired of fucking her
Starting point is 00:39:29 every salad dressing out there someone tired of eating it you know it's so true they I would imagine that this is not attention that he likes to get because I
Starting point is 00:39:45 as of up until this point he has really kept his private life private. And this shit is so public and so messy and it just continues to get messier. And the narrative is moving more and more towards people obviously believe that Harry was the reason that the split happened or like people guess that or the drama was there. But now like the actual truth seems like it's more moving in that direction than it ever has before. I just don't know why people are so... Which I feel like he probably wouldn't love. No, for Harry, it's not great.
Starting point is 00:40:23 But, like, people are so hell-bent on, like, picking a side between Olivia and Jason. And I just think it's just... There's multiple sides to that story where, okay, maybe Olivia was wrong for how she went about and secretly went about her relationship with Harry. Yeah, totally. But we have no idea what was happening in her relationship with Jason.
Starting point is 00:40:40 We don't know. They weren't married, but... Oh, yeah, correct. They were not married. Partner? Was he a perfect partner? Did he do me? mess up things to her. You have no idea what goes on in somebody's relationship. So I don't think it's
Starting point is 00:40:50 automatically like, down with Olivia up for Jason. Like, I just think, you know. Yeah. But let me tell you, I wonder how much money this nanny got from the Daily Mail. They must have gotten a nice chunk of change, I would think. Well, let me tell you, I would never trust this nanny with my family. I think that's a given. No, that is really crazy. And I guess if you're a celebrity out there, you double-check those fucking vet your nannies. Double check that paperwork. Seriously, make sure you got this shit on lock. It's like, there's always, the nannies know all. That's also that like the nannies know all. And you fall easily into a trap. You know what I, not a trap, but a trust. Like Jason and Olivia, they've been, they know her for a little bit. Yeah. If those texts were real, it seems like they had a personal relationship. Right. And and.
Starting point is 00:41:40 Right. You fall into that. You're like, all this person's in my home, they're great. They treat my kids great. They're a great nanny. and then boom becomes part of your family boom betray you you know what i found it weird that the nanny was sleeping in bed with the kids that's not weird it's not weird no okay how old for the kids i don't know they're little they're only they're only like i think they're only like eight or six now i'm sorry i have never had a nanny so i do not know that that's a normal thing from wolf of wall street well it's just it also if they like live in the house but sleep in the bed like i when she like oh sorry i fell asleep in bed with that's like you i babysit and sometimes i Like when I would babysit it and you read like I had one night where the parents came home and I was like not asleep but like I wasn't.
Starting point is 00:42:23 No, I wasn't asleep but I had definitely fallen asleep. Yeah. When I was I was laying next to the children in bed reading them a book. But were they your family? No. Okay. I'm just, no, I don't know. Listen, I called it weird, but maybe it's not weird.
Starting point is 00:42:40 I have no idea. I've ever had a nanny. I don't know. I don't know. I have no idea. We had. We had a bunch of nannies live with us growing up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:49 They had, yeah. I didn't. Well, my parents, you know, my parents were not home in turn. Neither were on. I never, well. You just made it seem like my parents, my parents were working at all hours too. No, but no, but your dad had, your dad was probably home when you got home from school. Listen, listen, listen.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Whatever. I just didn't have nannies. I didn't really have nannies, but I had like a babysitter, I guess, when I was younger. That's how I found out was lurch of peanuts. When I was very young, she gave me a peanut. and I like died in front of her. Wow. That's traumatizing for the babysitter.
Starting point is 00:43:19 Peanut Eminem. Ah, those are great. Yeah. I'm sorry. But you know that's seen in Wolf of Wall Street where he's trying to leave with the kid and Margarabi and the nanny are like chasing out. That's how I'm kind of picturing this all going to. No, we had for a long time later, a wonderful nanny Selma, who I love so much.
Starting point is 00:43:38 She's like my other mom still. You know, she obviously has moved on to working for other families, but I see. her and she lives in the city so I see her sometimes and she's the best. Yeah, we go and get she gets dinner with me and my siblings sometimes and we're all here. It's nice. Damn, I should hit up Gladys. She is an absolute doll. Her son named
Starting point is 00:43:56 her her son named his daughter after my mom. That's beautiful. Yeah, very connected families. So that shows the power of the power of a united family with a united nanny. Until you're not. When there's trust
Starting point is 00:44:12 there and she doesn't sell a story the Daily Mail. Well, that's a good nanny. That's somebody's good at their job. That is crazy. Like, here's the thing. Like, you know, we got all this juicy drama, but like, fuck this nanny. You know what I mean? Like, I'm not on this nanny side.
Starting point is 00:44:26 Like, the nanny who... Well, she got a big pay then. On the other side of this, though, like, maybe Jason and Olivia really mistreated their nanny. Yeah. True, but... This is a juicy story. If it's true? No, no.
Starting point is 00:44:39 Okay, it's true, but what was in that article wasn't really about... how badly they treated the nanny. The story was about Harry. Well, yeah, but it's for that. Harry Jason. There was a part where she talked about how like she hasn't been able to get out of their work because she hasn't been able to like communicate with them
Starting point is 00:44:56 and she hasn't now like hasn't gotten another job since after she was fired. I'm sorry. Or or what did they resign? I'm sorry. I'm sorry for saying fuck this nanny. Maybe they did treat her poorly and in that case. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:45:12 We just don't know. That's not nice. But you could be right. I could be right, but I'm saying it could be the problem. But she could say, she could have told the Daily Mail how poorly she was treated without giving every fucking detail of their, no one would have cared. No, I know, but that's what I'm saying. Like that, being mistreated by them as a nanny is different than, hey, here are all the details of Harry, Olivia, Jason, and Florence Pugh.
Starting point is 00:45:35 Revenge is sweet. If I had to guess she had to include all of that information in order to secure the Daily Mail payday. Yeah, I don't know. You know? It's like the Daily Mail is like, hey, we'll pay you, but you got to hand it all over. You got to make, like, this has got to be as juicy as possible. But I don't know.
Starting point is 00:45:54 It's crazy. It's juicy. The timing, very interesting. It's like it felt like things were crying down for them. And then bam, they get hit with this, throwing out joint statements. United. I wonder if they had to, like, get on the phone and talk. Probably.
Starting point is 00:46:09 Or a text message. Or if their assistance just texted and we're like, let's, let's do it. Let's do this together. Yeah. Probably assistance. James Corden was banned from a restaurant in New York City for his bad, awful behavior that we have heard about once before. So this came out of nowhere, posted by Keith McNally, who I believe is one of the owners of, or the owner. I don't know how many owners these places have, but of very prominent New York restaurants.
Starting point is 00:46:43 Baldazar, Pastis, Morandi, Manetta Tavern, all big name places. He's got them all tag in his bio. He posts this picture of James Corden that honestly looks like like the quality of this photo looks like it was pulled up on a,
Starting point is 00:47:04 it was already like a pixelated photo on the computer, and then it was printed out, and then someone spilled water on it, and then they took a picture of that picture and then that's what he posted. Like it looks like there's like watermarks. It's such a bizarre photo. He posts this, he writes,
Starting point is 00:47:21 James Corden is a huge, it's really, honestly, it's just written, it's very funny. James Corden is a hugely gifted comedian but a tiny cretan of a man. Amen. And the most abusive customer to my bazaar servers
Starting point is 00:47:37 since the restaurant opened 25 years ago. I don't often 86 a customer. So today, but today I 86th cordon. Talking about 86ing someone too. It was like 86 cordon. Oh, I'm sorry, he said. It did not make me laugh.
Starting point is 00:47:53 Here are two examples of the funny man's treatment of my staff. This is manager's report number one. In June, James Corden was here on Table 61, although this is diabolical. It happens very occasionally in all restaurants. After eating his main course, Gordon showed the hair to Balthazar manager G, who was very apologetic.
Starting point is 00:48:12 Corden was extremely nasty to G and said, get us another round of drinks the second and also take care of all of our drinks so far. This way I won't write any nasty reviews in Yelp or anything like that. Second, manager's report number
Starting point is 00:48:28 two. James Corden was at Balazar with his wife on October 9th for brunch. He asked for a table outside. Brunch mater D. Alley took the party to table 301. Mr. Corden's wife ordered an egg yolk omelet with career cheese and salad. A few minutes after they received the food, James called their server, MK, and told her there was a bit of
Starting point is 00:48:47 a little bit of egg mixed with the egg yolk. MK informed the floor manager G. The kitchen remade the dish, but unfortunately sent it with home fries instead of salad. How dare they? That's when James Corden began yelling like crazy to the server, you can't do your job. You can't do your job. Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the almond myself. I can picture this.
Starting point is 00:49:08 I can so picture this. MK was very apologetic and brought. brought G over to the table. He returned the dish and after that everything was fine. He gave them promo champagne glasses to smooth things out. Gee said that Corden was pleasant to him, but nasty to the server. M.K. was very shaken, but professional that she is, continued to finish her shift. This sounds exactly like something James Corden would do, in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:49:33 I picture it. I picture it. I picture him screaming going on a rant. You idiot! He's in a public restaurant. If he's really screaming at him, like, doesn't he think, like, all these people here know who I am, like, they're going to be like, he looks like an asshole. I wouldn't, I wouldn't say he was screaming. He's probably like looking at the server, like,
Starting point is 00:49:50 angrily talking. Yeah. And so I think when people say screaming, kind of like, whatever, but also, I don't even need to hear any other stories about James Gordon to know that, like, this is, in my mind, the number one show of, like, you want to put all your cars on the, on the table, see how you treat weight staff. Like if you are a dick to waitstaff, that's all I need to know about how you are as a person. I hate when people are rude. They don't say thank you.
Starting point is 00:50:20 They don't look at them and talk. Like, does normal basic manners? With weight staff, if you don't have that, I automatically am like, ugh, gives me shivers down my spine. Sometimes you go into a restaurant, they're understaffed, it's a busy night. Like, they are trying their best.
Starting point is 00:50:38 It might not be the best experience, dining experience you've ever had, but there's just no reason to be rude to somebody or yell at somebody when they're trying to do their job. And there was a follow-up. Keith then posted another extremely pixelated photo. I don't know where he's finding these. They're really bad. But in bad service areas. Bad Wi-Fi.
Starting point is 00:51:05 They're not saving fully. And then he wrote, James Cornyn just called me an apologize. profusely. Having fucked up myself more than most people, I strongly believe in second chances. So if James Gordon lets me host his late, late show for nine months, I'll immediately rescind his ban for Balthasar. No, of course
Starting point is 00:51:22 not. But anyone magnanimous enough to apologize to a deadbeat layabout like me and my staff doesn't deserve to be banned from anywhere, especially Balthasar. So come back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Corden. Jimmy Corden, all is forgiven. I was so praying that he'd be like,
Starting point is 00:51:38 and I said, yeah, let me host your late night show for nine months. Fuck you. And that was it. Like there was no like just kidding. You can come back any time. If he was like, no, you're a piece of shit. You're not allowed back here. What's also, it's like... Your band, you're banned. And it's also like the damage is done, you know? Like he put these stories out there and they're still up. Like it's not like he deleted them. They're still on his Instagram for everyone to read. And the fact that James Gordon called and apologize means that he has something to apologize for. And he only did it because everyone found out. Yeah. And if James Gordon said publicly, that never happened, that's different. But James Gordon calling him to
Starting point is 00:52:10 apologize means he called and apologized because he knows that he traded them like shit. Yeah, exactly. Gary Genetti had two very funny comments on the patient. That one, he wrote, this has been a roller coaster. It's like, yes, it's just, like, of course he's apologizing now. He just got called out publicly. And yeah, like, it's kind of like, what is there to, it's just funny of like posting this story in the first place on Instagram publicly. Yeah, like he could have banned him privately.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Yeah, exactly. It's like posting it publicly. I don't know, maybe he just said, I'm going to be, I'm going to be the first guy to say, like, really publicly say something. Wait, did it say when this happened, these things?
Starting point is 00:52:52 Yeah, like this month. Okay, I was going to say, yeah. The dates were in here. It must have been very recent. In June was one, and then the second was on October 9th. Okay, that makes sense. So like it just happened.
Starting point is 00:53:03 So I think, you know, all Keith here was like, PSA, James Gordon, you're out. You're 86. I want more restaurant stories about James Gordon. You're 86. I know they have them out there.
Starting point is 00:53:15 I think I saw it. It was either on Dumas or somebody sent it in somewhere else. Maybe Dumas or I saw on someone's Instagram story that they told a story of being in the same, I think it was Dumas. At a restaurant years ago and Harry Siles and James Gordon were at a table near them. And Harry was, you know, sweet as pie. and James was just an absolute monster at the table. So that's how you know he's crazy because he doesn't know. Like you could be a monster but you're like, I need to put on a front.
Starting point is 00:53:46 Right. I'm with Harry. Like I don't want him to think I'm a dick. Harry can't be sitting there being like. Yeah, like this man's acting. I know, I know. Well, it is embarrassing.
Starting point is 00:53:55 Have you ever been in a scenario like that where like you've been at a table with friends or other people and they're rude? Yeah, I've been out with Trent. And you're just like, and you're sitting at the table and you're like, I'm so mortified. Right, like I can't believe they're asking or saying this. Like, maybe it's their first time going out with them. You didn't know this about these people. Right.
Starting point is 00:54:13 And then you're at the table and you're like, oh my God, this is, this is terrible. I'm mortified. Like, this is how they act. This is how they act. Yeah, crazy. Yeah. That's a nightmare situation. It is.
Starting point is 00:54:24 You know somebody and then going out to dinner with them and seeing they act like James Gordon. It completely changes your opinion. That's going to be a media change. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Immediately, I judge you. I feel like everyone's going to be making that joke to wait staff. It's like, ah, don't.
Starting point is 00:54:36 Don't happen. I'm no James Corrness. I'm no Jimmy. What is it with talk show hosts being terrible people? Because they get to meet all these people and I don't know. I actually don't know. I really don't. But I wouldn't say like, yeah, yeah. I was starting to think of other people.
Starting point is 00:54:52 Like Jimmy Kimmel's pretty likes. No, I feel like Jimmy Kimmel. I feel like Jimmy Kimmel. I feel like Jimmy Kimmel. No, I think he is. Really? I've never heard. I've never heard people like talking about bad stories about Jimmy Kimmel.
Starting point is 00:55:03 He cries about something on his show and everyone's like, I don't know. maybe there's some dirt on Jimmy Kimmel. I don't know. Conan is great. I think people like Jimmy Fallon. Apparently, he's just a partier. Yeah, I think he just is a heavy drinker.
Starting point is 00:55:16 Yeah. Hey, who are we to judge? Yeah, exactly. And sounds like Aaron Judge just did something really important. We should end. We should just wrap it up. And just like, go, go Yankees. No, my dad sent me actually really funny.
Starting point is 00:55:32 No, go Phillies, guys. You know me. Come on. My dad sent me a text. on, was it Monday? The Yankees lost Sunday night. He was like, did he say something now because Marty's the Yankees fan? He said, don't you dare?
Starting point is 00:55:43 No, no, no. He just has this back and forth with Marty where they like, Marty was shit on the Mets and then my dad was shit on the Yankees. But the Mets are not still in the playoffs. So, you know, my dad is a little sour about that. And my dad like trolls Marty on Instagram, like as if he's another troll. Yes. My dad texts me Monday because the Yankees lost Sunday night, I think it was.
Starting point is 00:56:02 or no they lost Saturday and my dad texts me this Sunday morning tell Matt the sky seems bluer today the clouds seem fluffier the birds are chirping tears of joy will this happen because the Yankees lost LMAO I'm like he's loving this yeah loving it yep so but then he'll get on the phone with him
Starting point is 00:56:24 and I'll be like Matt you know I'm really room for you he's like I'm not in my 20s anymore you know like I'm room for you I'm like what? He can't decide. He just likes to be in the mix. Yeah, yeah. He can't decide with he wants to shit on him
Starting point is 00:56:36 or if he's gonna, you know, root for him. Yeah, he just wants to get into the mix. Yeah. All right. I don't think James Corrin's going back to both sides. Never. Unless they're like, please come back,
Starting point is 00:56:47 we'll host you. No, I would never go back ever if I was shit. Imagine how uncomfortable that would be better. Yeah, I can't imagine. I don't want to interact with the wait staff after that. Nope. Whether you're coasing up for cuffing season or hosting a tailgate,

Starting point is 00:58:29 most important. beverage company Milwaukee, Wisconsin. All right, we are here with three. Very special guests. I was going to say two, but it's three. We have Ashley and Jared and Dawson in studio to talk about this season of Bachelor in Paradise. This is what happens when you can't find a babysitter. You have to bring your baby to work.
Starting point is 00:59:05 That's right, buddy. Honestly, you guys can have me babysitting. I'll just watch. Yeah, right. That's so. Give us a few minutes. It might get down to that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:12 He doesn't like sit. I will gladly hold him while you guys talk about it. I'll leave the room. You guys can. keep talking. But we're excited to have you guys. Thanks for having us. You were unexpected stars of this season.
Starting point is 00:59:26 Stars or like people on screen. No, star like the spinoff like I made a joke like are you guys getting a spin-off show because I it just turned into your guy's show. Oh well there's a lot of people online being like are they trying to prep them for
Starting point is 00:59:42 their own show because it's really bad. Yeah, it would be really bad. I mean I'm surprised when we got the call to go down there I was under the impression that it was like it's going to be a quick thing we're going to go down and then they started elaborating on what they were thinking about and even then
Starting point is 00:59:58 I was like well we're not going to get that much screen time like it's going to be a quick thing like we'll have a little story we'll get to go on a date and they'll be out of there and then when they were I mean we were so lucky and so happy they're like yeah we think you guys are on like four or five episodes and I was like wait a minute
Starting point is 01:00:15 you're like definitely confused us Because we were only there every three nights. Yeah. I was like, that's amazing. How do you make four or five episodes out of three nights? And then we watched the episode where we got literally double the amount of screen time. According to Bachelor Day.
Starting point is 01:00:31 And I was like, I don't think people are going to like us very much. Well, I don't know if that's what we thought or if that's what we were currently reading while watching the episode. Well, also, we were watching, I remember because I don't like watching myself like straight on TV. I don't know. It's like hearing your own voice. Yeah, totally. I hate myself. So I have it on the background
Starting point is 01:00:48 And I was playing Madden upstairs And the TV was on downstairs And she was watching And I kept hearing our voices And I was like, we're on again But honestly, it was awesome Like I don't care I don't care where people are
Starting point is 01:01:00 I think it also had a lot to do with the fact That like they've had Past Bachelor in Paradise Success Story like couples come down But it's like they're there very briefly And they're they always do something But it's like they're kind of in and out So this was like
Starting point is 01:01:16 wait a second. Are they changing something? You guys are moving in? But they really felt like they changed it where they made more episodes. They made more 16 episodes. They literally call me you in June or like May, whatever.
Starting point is 01:01:29 And they're like, hey, we've been expanded many more weeks than usual. Like we're thinking you have new things to do. Yeah. And we're thinking about bringing you and Jared down. We definitely thought we'd be like amongst a couple featured married couples.
Starting point is 01:01:44 Right. But we weren't. No. Which is an honor, honestly, for them to think that, like, let's show them. Yeah, and honestly, it doesn't make me mad at all that some people didn't enjoy it. Sorry, yeah, we're going to keep switching off. Yeah. Because, like, Ashley and I really don't care what people say.
Starting point is 01:02:01 We're definitely over that now. But it makes me sad that it feels like we almost failed production. That's what we're really sad about because they brought us on. You guys know. I don't think you're excited. Like, they really thought that people were going to live. excited and like the fact that people were like we don't want to see a married couple
Starting point is 01:02:20 on there it's like shit I was just unexpected I don't think they didn't prepare the viewer enough for it like it was less like if in the trailer for the whole season they were like people are going to fall in love we're bringing past couples down because I know they have other people coming to so it's like
Starting point is 01:02:39 if they if they said like we're bringing past couples down we're going to like really it's going to be this whole just like celebration of them and new love and everything, then it would have been different. It was just kind of like, well, wait a second. Right. You got such a good point because we were barely in the promos.
Starting point is 01:02:54 Yeah. And for how much I thought they were going to show, because I thought they were going to show a little bit more, I was like, oh, well, I guess according to the promo, they're not going to show much. Right. And then boom. And even people were tweeting us. And they were like, they're here for the entire summer.
Starting point is 01:03:09 It's like, no, guys, we leave on Monday. Don't worry. We're not here for the entire time. But honestly, it was so much fun going down there because that beach, As weird as that sound, it's a fucking TV show. You know that beauty and the pain? You know, like, when you finally get over a breakup, even if it takes, like, years to fully recover, and then you kind of, like, reminisce on how sad you were and you can, like, feel
Starting point is 01:03:31 all the things. It's like the Taylor Swift's Red album. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Yes. And that's, but then, like, you find, like, that, like, everything works out for you. You can laugh at things after that.
Starting point is 01:03:42 It was, like, being nostalgic and, yeah, but, like, seeing all. the beauty in spots that weren't great for us. Was that the weirdest thing ever? Then we got engaged too there. So that was good, except for they ruined that engagement with my ex being there. So, yeah, just like lots of memories. And it was just really fun to reminisce
Starting point is 01:04:04 and to just finally be happy together there. And yeah, laugh about it. Now, when you're on the beach, how much are you guys in the know of what's going on with the other couples down there? Like, what are you? in on the drama. How comfortable do they feel telling you guys what's happening?
Starting point is 01:04:20 So many people came up to us. Like we had a, there was a point where we, I remember I was talking to, I forget who the hell it was, maybe Logan or Casey or someone at this point. And Romeo was waiting to talk to us. And I was like, this is weird. Yeah, yeah. Come on down. We want the advice.
Starting point is 01:04:39 Like, we really want to talk to you guys, which was so sweet. And so, yeah, we were in the know. It was cool because we were just non-threatening to anybody there. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, you're an in-between of producers and cast, because when you, like, cast, you know, you don't want to talk to them, and producers, you definitely don't want to talk to.
Starting point is 01:04:54 We were kind of middle ground, but as far as if we were, like, in the know, the producers were very open with what was kind of, like, on the horizon. Yeah. So it was kind of fun to look at people and, like, you don't know what's about to happen to you. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 01:05:09 Which is what happened, I think, this week, with the whole, if you watch Love Island, what we call Casa Amor a situation, when they bring you. in new people and send the girls to a different house, which is what happened on these episodes. Yeah, it's like the, they're calling it to switch. Like, it's like the big switch. Right.
Starting point is 01:05:25 It's literally what they took it from Love Island, but we love it. Which was smart. It was great. It was great. It was great. It definitely felt like a mix. They needed to change something up a little bit. What, six, seven episodes in, we've had two row ceremonies.
Starting point is 01:05:37 Like, there's got to be like a big switch coming. I think there are, I think from now on until the rest of the season, it's going to be chaos. from what we understand. It seems that way. Which would be great to watch. And I truly don't know what happens once everybody gets like back together. No, yeah. We don't know how it worked like.
Starting point is 01:05:58 We know some things obviously, but we don't know like how it came to be. Yeah. Right, right. So that's exciting. What's the real drama going to be? So I want to go through some of the couples and hear your thoughts on what happened, right? So I think the, a big focus was Michael. He was kind of didn't really have anybody.
Starting point is 01:06:16 what's going to happen for him. They kind of sent Danielle down as like, they were just like, we're saving you, here she is. The heavenly gates opened up in Danielle Elm. Yes. Em? M?
Starting point is 01:06:29 Balfi. I like Danielle. I do too. It felt like the, if I had to guess, like production had an idea of how well these two would potentially work because it was very convenient that they went on their date
Starting point is 01:06:45 while the switch was happening. So it was like, oh, Michael, don't worry. We're not going to send Danielle away. We're just going to send all the other girls away. Danielle stays. Well, we knew that Michael was interested in Danielle even before that rose ceremony because he mentioned, when he broke up with Sierra,
Starting point is 01:07:02 or they ended things, we were talking to Michael one night, and we said, well, was there anybody else that you'd want to see come down the stairs? And he said Danielle. I think he had an inkling would be coming. He had to have talked a little bit.
Starting point is 01:07:13 You think they must have talked a little bit, and I think that's something we're seeing more and more every year, and everyone is talking and they're communicating. Do you remember on our season when Joe Bailey got villainized to the extreme for talking to Samantha before the season? Yeah, I do remember that.
Starting point is 01:07:31 It happens so much now, poor Joe Bailey. Now it's like you can talk, just don't like... Don't actually date. Don't actually date, or like, if you're photographed in public, people are going to assume you met each other before. I think it's about being honest that you guys have talked and established that, but I do feel like people pick and choose on who they're going to get mad at and who they're not going to get mad at when it comes to that. It's like, I think at this point you just have to
Starting point is 01:07:54 expect that people are going to talk to each other off the show. They're going to run into each other. How are you supposed to keep it so that like nobody speaks to each other? It's just with social media and how everyone's so connected, it's kind of impossible. The DMs are fire. Right. You know, between Bachelor Nation. The producers and whoever is running the show doesn't have everyone's logins, they can't monitor who's DMing people, so. Well, I think the trick is just to be honorable.
Starting point is 01:08:20 You can kind of tell people, hey, I'm interested in seeing you there, and you can, like, hang out in a group, but if you're going to go beyond that, then you just know you're going to get crap in paradise, so why even go there? It's better. You're way more advantageous for you to just hold off on that. What it really
Starting point is 01:08:36 comes down to I find is that just guys are stupid. And I include myself in that statement, because there's so many times where the guys will talk to girls and be like, oh, we're just going to go down as friends. And then we're going to date other people. And I'm like, you know that's not going to, like, you know that's not going to happen. No, I remember. So before Blake, not to say Blake stupid, he's obviously a very nice man.
Starting point is 01:08:57 I'm just like generalizing and kind of making fun. But I remember we saw, we hung out with Blake before he went down to paradise before like the whole stage coach thing happened. And everybody knew that he had multiple relationships with girls. going down to paradise. And we were talking to him. We were like, are you sure? Like, it's going to be fine. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:16 And then he's like, we're all, like, no, we're all friends. We talked about it. We're fine. Yeah. And then Ashley and I were like, I, we told him this. We were like, just be careful because, like, you know, it's going to be very easy just to, like, all point at you. He's like, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:09:32 We're all friends. Like, trust me. We're fine. We talked about it many times. Everybody's okay. Everybody knows we're going to date other people. Yeah, but he was feeling himself that year. so much. He thought he was indestructible.
Starting point is 01:09:43 Yeah, definitely. Everything's are indestructible. Definitely. Did you guys get to meet Peter before he was... Oh yeah, Pizza Pete? Before he left. Yes. Yes. Jared, we were just very entertained by him. Like, every season, there's like that person that you're like, where did this person
Starting point is 01:09:59 come from? You don't seem to really meet them in real life, you know? And he came down and there was a bit that you guys missed out on. And I don't know if they continued it, but they did it while he entered and he was like, with the girls. They brought a pizza every hour.
Starting point is 01:10:13 No, not every hour, baby. It was like every 10 minutes they were bringing a pizza. They go, did somebody order a pizza? Pizza! I was like, peeing my pants, and they brought it down with, like, pineapple every time,
Starting point is 01:10:25 because I knew that bothered him. Oh, yeah, so they brought down with pineapple every time, and then Casey- Oh, they showed that, they showed one pizza. Oh, okay. They showed one pizza,
Starting point is 01:10:33 and he was like, get this pineapple off this pizza. Oh, dude, it was so funny. And then Casey, I just remember reached right in front of Pete. He was like, I love. pizza and he just grabbed it and eat it
Starting point is 01:10:43 rain from his face and it was pretty funny. Casey I love, he's great. Casey definitely like to stir the pot a little bit and then it seemed to actually hurt his health after he straight up passed out. Yeah. That was from like an ankle injury, wasn't it? Yeah, no. Didn't he stumble on the wrong thing? No, he claimed that it was just like
Starting point is 01:10:59 after he set it up so that he told. He didn't have to get eliminated at a ceremony. Yeah, well that too. But he also wanted at a last ditch effort, he told Brittany that Peter was like talking shit saying that you know he's influenced she wants to be an influencer and then
Starting point is 01:11:15 when everybody was confronting Peter and like the beach one of those situations like last season were like the beach bands together to send somebody home oh we hate that I hate that with Peter and then I think Casey was like I'm feeling faint and then he just went down
Starting point is 01:11:32 I guess he was okay but he just went down he had some good comments though he did have good commentary he was scheming at all hours guys. He'd come up to us every hour with a new plan. I'm sorry, the girls don't really like you. Now, common you know, the audience is going to love you
Starting point is 01:11:49 because you're great at being in the interview room. Yeah, I was like, dude, you are not getting a roast from her girl. But like, if you keep us up, maybe like production will throw a rose towards it. But like, yeah, stay around. We like you narrating. Yeah. Oh, I found him so entertaining. He was. He was like the villain in every movie who just like kept explaining
Starting point is 01:12:05 his diabolical plan. And I'm like, dude, I need to hear more of this. And he was having so much fun with it. I loved it. You need people like that in paradise. Right. To stir things up. I wish that you guys were there to host the other house where the girls left to this episode. I wish you guys were there to host that.
Starting point is 01:12:23 So you guys could have gotten a little intel on how they were acting at all hours because let me tell you watching it was brutal. I think it was that brutal because when we talked to the girls afterward, they made it seem like they had never been tortured like that. It was like they were sent to. a prison. It was Vendanta with air conditioning. Groceries
Starting point is 01:12:43 Store Joe tweeted like upside as they have AC and I was like, yes, like imagine you get to go stay in the hotel and there were a couple girls who like, you could tell, kept their cool, Victoria F, like she was like She's just cool always. Like I'm like, you know what? I'm really becoming a big fan of her. She's just cool. She doesn't care. She's like,
Starting point is 01:13:01 whatever, Johnny does that. I really like him. Keep my cool. But some exactly. Yeah, he agrees. but Jill and Genevieve were losing their damn minds. Jill especially. Genevieve, yes, she's been losing her mind the whole time. Jill has too. Has really lost her mind.
Starting point is 01:13:21 I love Jill. And we're friends with Jill in real life. It's not a dislike towards Joe. No, no, no. Because I'm about to say something. So I want to preface it by saying I love Jill more than anything. She is literally the best. But like, what's the, first of all, you got sent to Vendantta,
Starting point is 01:13:36 which is way nicer than salilita. With AC and a nicer bed. And like, what are you risking? A shower and saline? Yeah. A bathroom with a lock on it. Jacob's very nice. Don't get me wrong. But like Jill.
Starting point is 01:13:49 Yeah. Jill. And my thought process was Jill can do better than Jacob. Yeah. So I was like, why is she so hung up on Jacob? Because Jacob's the kind of guy that I think he's just going to like, whoever the next hot thing that walks in is he's just going to hook up with them is exactly what happens. In real life, too.
Starting point is 01:14:05 Oh, a thousand percent. On the show, real life, I think he's just that player kind of guy where I think Jill could do better with like a really stand-up guy that she has a real connection with. So I was like, she's really losing her mind over Jacob. Classic in the Bachelor bubble mentality. She's just not thinking that there's a world outside of it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:22 Yeah. It's like, chill, relax. Like Genevieve, I get, she really likes Aaron, and then Aaron is definitely a hot commodity. He's very sweet. He was the most surprising of all the cast members. Have you met Aaron before? No.
Starting point is 01:14:32 You guys are going to really like him. Yeah, because we, I think we flip and flop on. on Aaron. We kind of have like, I think we kind of have the same probably impression that the girls do when they were like, oh, we thought he was just like this like bro-y
Starting point is 01:14:48 guy who doesn't care about anything which is probably how we think about him more. I think that happens though every time you meet somebody in real life and in person, that's happened to us sometimes. Yeah, almost every hour we end up interviewing somebody and we go, you know what, they were really cool because you don't really know somebody. And you just
Starting point is 01:15:04 see one side of them and then And then you meet them and you're like, you know what? They're a real human being too. I think that happens a lot. You get his appeal. He's tall. He's jacked. He is like very sweet.
Starting point is 01:15:15 He's sweet, which is shocking. He's funny and very self-aware. He makes fun of himself all the time. Yeah, I say he's only coming to Audrey's if I get protein in there. Protein powder. You know, on the rim of the martini. So, yeah, I told him straight to his face. I was like, I couldn't stand to you on the show.
Starting point is 01:15:31 I've always like kind of like talk shit about you on the podcast. Yeah. Because you look like you're always trying to start a fight and you're like always angry. It's like, hi, I'm erred. I'm angry. And like he's just not at all. Yeah. And it does seem like in this moment he is kind of sticking with Genevieve, even though she's freaking out.
Starting point is 01:15:50 Like with the switch, he hasn't really been talking to one of the other girls. I don't know if that's going to change. But right now that's kind of where he's at. But they definitely, and that like Jacob is jumping head first with Kate. And Kate, I. Kate has to watch what she's saying, I think, a little bit more because she's like, I'm going to get a rose, I'm staying, I'll do anything, I'll do whatever it takes to stay.
Starting point is 01:16:15 And it's like, oh, when you start saying stuff like that in your interview, you're going to come across to genuine, like, nobody's going to think you're there for a connection. They think you're just there to, like, be on Paradise for as long as possible. Yeah, and watching them make out in the pool and you're like, I want to believe they have like this insane sexual chemistry, but only I'm thinking is she's just trying to seduce him into getting her. And K was like, he's not my type. Like, I never go for guys.
Starting point is 01:16:37 And she was like, at this point, though, my sights are set on him. Like, to get a rose. Exactly. My sights are set on him because he is the easiest target. And I'm going to get a rose from that guy. Right. And then another guy will come down next week and should be like, Jacob, it was nice knowing you. I have the power now.
Starting point is 01:16:52 Yeah. How sweet are Brandon and Serene? I can't get over it. Like, Brandon has just seemed to have his eyes locked on her from the beginning. What a cute, cute, man. they were like very much like on their own just being calm cool chill and like in love but we did get to have a nice little moment with brandon on our last night and he just there's something about him it's very endearing he has no like it almost seems like he has
Starting point is 01:17:17 no idea how good looking he is because like he doesn't have a player bone in his body like he just wants to romance a lady and he did I don't know Jerry it was so cute I think he loves love and he just really believes in it is just a regular guy like he can't I don't know. We were in our room and then he maybe was doing an interview or something, walk past and then like they let him come in. I was like, hey, come in here. Because like they don't like cast do anything, obviously.
Starting point is 01:17:41 And then, so we talked to him for like an hour and a half before the road. Maybe not that one. Well, that was an exaggeration. Maybe like an hour or so. But like before the roads or something, we're just talking about movies because he's like, oh, I heard you're a film guy. I'm a huge film buff. And we were just talking for a while.
Starting point is 01:17:54 And I was like, man, this guy's really sweet and down to earth and endearing. A gentleness. Yeah. But he did say something super funny when I first got there. Because when we first got down. there. He, I don't think he knew our story all. So they sat us down like I went with the guys.
Starting point is 01:18:08 She went with the girls. They only aired the girl stuff. But like they had us like, okay, Jared, who are you? Why are you here? So we had to recap everything. So I'm telling the story about how Ashley and I got together and how we went, we had this trip planned with St. Lucia with Tanner and Jade. And then you know, she was kind of
Starting point is 01:18:24 she was with Kevin at this point, but I knew I had to make a move to really like show her that I was in, like I'm here and I'm serious about this. So I kissed her at the airport and he goes Brandon goes you kissed her and she was dating another guy
Starting point is 01:18:38 and I said yeah man I said I need to do what I need to do he goes yo that's sketch we so wish that was that was really funny oh it's really funny he's like he's like oh so I'm supposed
Starting point is 01:18:51 to believe this guy this fucking god what a testament to like how pure it is yeah yeah okay yeah I'm supposed to take advice from you yeah that's a lot And it was very sweet.
Starting point is 01:19:04 We could talk about the Lace and Rodney situation, but one of my favorite moments was Lace comes back to the, this wasn't my favorite moment, but she comes back to the beach, and she's talking about their guys, she's trying to get information out of the other guys, and Brandon's just like, how are the other girls? How are the other girls? Is Serene okay?
Starting point is 01:19:21 And Lace is like, I'm not talking to you about the other girls. Tell me about Rodney, because all the guys are like, well, we're not letting anything. We're not telling you anything. but Rodney and clearly wanted to meet Eliza. She came down in this new batch. He was smitten right off the bat. They're a cute couple.
Starting point is 01:19:40 Yeah. And after, like, lace was gone, she was also kind of having little meltdowns as well in the other area. So, of course, like, this is, this is Bachelor in Paradise producers at its finest. They allowed lace to go back to the beach. Wow, Jill is probably, like, screaming. All the other girls can't. are not allowed. They just let lace go at the same time that Rodney's
Starting point is 01:20:04 on this date with Eliza so that when they come back, Lace is standing on the beach waiting for them, which was where we left off is going to be a little bit of a cliffhanger there. Devious. But did you guys see a connection between Rodney and Lace? Truly? We thought it was the weirdest thing.
Starting point is 01:20:21 Well said recently that there's always like that one offbeat couple, right? And that's them. It's kind of like a Carly and Evan. I was just going to say Carly and Evan. Yeah, but you can kind of like, well, because of situations that end up like that, I mean, they were married for like four years. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:36 It makes you feel like, okay, well, maybe this could happen. As soon as I heard about it, because lace was telling me, I was like, Rodney? Like, great for you, but damn, I did not see that coming. Yeah. And then, so as soon as we heard about like
Starting point is 01:20:54 the split, I'm like, uh, uh, uh, uh, I don't think that's good. I don't think that's good. I honestly thought Jacob and Jill might make it through but now obviously there's no way. I was like they're so weird together maybe he's going to like that. And then I was like no. I wouldn't be surprised though if he's one of the kind of guys that
Starting point is 01:21:10 wants to have all the fun while the girls are away and then when Jill comes back was like we're trying and entertain it but he did straight up say to Kate like she's not. I don't see. He said I don't wake up thinking about her.
Starting point is 01:21:25 He was kind of harsh. He did he was like she's so cool like she's such a great human but like I don't see it working with her. That's some tough part. You have to be honest in paradise. And it's like but in order to like the way Michael was honest with Sierra
Starting point is 01:21:41 a lot of people were saying that like he's, I saw a meme. It was like you die here. He lived long enough to see him become the villain. But it's like Michael was just being from our understanding like he wasn't as into Sierra as people thought. Somebody brought such a good comment. I said. I said I don't think
Starting point is 01:21:57 he really even liked her from the beginning. I mean, he liked her, but I don't think it was like, yeah. And he's just like, wait a minute, hold on. I got to put pause on this. So I was talking to Joe, grocery surgery the other day. And he was saying that, like, you know, when you have, like, serious conversations like that about, like, some, like, really special person to you dying, that, like, it connects you. Because, like, if you cry together, you may feel, like really close. And he was saying that, like, maybe she felt super connected to him because he kept, like, opening his heart in that way.
Starting point is 01:22:26 But it didn't mean that he was completely feeling romantic. her. Right. That makes a lot of sense. Joe with the wisdom. I know. When he's not making pasta sauce, he's just spreading wisdom. That he is, but no, there's a... When it comes to Lace and her being so worked up over Rodney, do you think that just comes from a place of not wanting to be rejected rather than like her actually liking Rodney?
Starting point is 01:22:48 Thousand percent. I also think she really did like Rodney. I think she likes Rodney, but like to the... Lace is, when you... When you're going back on the show again, you're like, I can't let this, like, go poorly. Yeah, it's more of exactly. And I also think when you detach yourself from the show, it's very easy when you just, like, your first time in paradise to really fall into the, okay, everything, like, my entire world will explode if I don't get a rose.
Starting point is 01:23:15 But then when you go back, like Lace, and when we went back, it's a little bit more, you know, okay, we're going to be okay. Like, we'll be fine. Right. So I think with Lace, it was more, I agree. were like this is my other time in paradise like I can't let this guy go off with another girl and then I get home you know I think she likes Rodney sure yeah but maybe
Starting point is 01:23:34 it was a little bit of an embarrassing thing also like they're like you're 32 or that one bitch was like oh my god who was that who said that in the beginning oh I'm all about alum coming in but like six years move on oh it was it was also the one that we didn't know who it was no idea Hillary oh Haley Haley
Starting point is 01:23:54 Haley Haley Haley How did she like you're you get there. And also 32 is not old in any way, shape, or form. Trent was very, very upset by that comment as well. He was like, Lace is Bachelor in Paradise? Like, she's a royalty
Starting point is 01:24:08 in this. How is he was like, how is he was? And truly everyone was like, I remember watching being like, so, because I started watching later than everybody else, so I just thought as somebody I didn't know. And they were like, no, we're just not really sure if she is either. You know, it'd be such a shame if in like, say, oh, I don't know,
Starting point is 01:24:24 six years, Haley's still single. and they ask her to go back on Paradise. She better say no. She better say no. Yeah. Yeah. And then you have another 25 and you're old being like, you're old. You're old.
Starting point is 01:24:37 Get off the beach. They only bring her back to boo her off the beach. Chenet is the one that was probably the most receptive to new guys coming in. The other girls. She didn't very upset. She was with Logan. Yeah. She like doesn't.
Starting point is 01:24:53 I don't think she was playing this game with Logan. I think she does like Logan, but Chenet goes on a date with Tyler and Logan goes on a date with Sarah. They're, you know, jump cutting from each of their dates and they're having a good time. But Chenet seems to really like Tyler. Right, but from the coming attractions, I think he's going to like Brittany. Brittany. Oh, well, that's something I can ship. Tyler and Brittany.
Starting point is 01:25:18 I like Britney a lot. So stunning. So cool, so smart. No. No. Oh, we like Andrew and Brittany too. No. Like Andrew and Brittany.
Starting point is 01:25:25 Oh, you do. Okay. Yeah, I like Andrew. Yeah, I like in Chicago, right? I keep holding on to that. I'm like, they're from the same city. Yeah, that can work really easily. We're rooting for it.
Starting point is 01:25:34 We're rooting for Brittany with anything. That's why it makes it sad. Dang. We want it so badly. Yeah. Damn it, Dawson. Now, do you guys know Logan at all? Yeah, we met him once.
Starting point is 01:25:45 No what? Not really. Because I just, I can't get a read on him. He seems just a little bit like, yeah, bro. Like, he's just like that San Diego. I don't really. Easy, breezing. Whatever happens happens He was the only person we didn't have a conversation with
Starting point is 01:26:01 He was the only person we didn't have a conversation with That was like meaningful there or like stuck with us He made no impression on us But it doesn't really seem like he's had any meaningful conversations there either I know I feel like the poor guy is getting a lot of hate Because he's just like the I know I can't help but hate on him and I'm just like I don't even really know Maybe it's I just there's something
Starting point is 01:26:23 He's just along for the ride Like he's like There's something about him that I don't trust. I don't trust. I don't trust. And I don't know what it is. But I just, I'm not getting like,
Starting point is 01:26:32 well, don't forget he was one of the guys that for Gabby and Rachel's season, there was like so many girls on TikTok being like, girls of San Diego unite. Like how many people have been on dates with Logan and there was like so many people. Yes. I think the whole San Diego. The whole San Diego pack.
Starting point is 01:26:51 Yeah. Besides Hannah and Dylan, who we love. But there's a whole. crew that I'm just like, I'm on to all you guys. I know you San Diegoans. Yeah. What's going on over there?
Starting point is 01:27:04 Dude, I remember when I was before Ash, she knows this story, too. There was a restaurant and that I... Hey, dude. I know. He keeps dropping a pacifier. But I was out one night and this girl at a restaurant that I used to go to, she was like, oh, you're Jared. I watched the show, blah, blah. She's like, I work at this place where you bring all your dates.
Starting point is 01:27:23 And I was like, bring all my dates. Then I was honestly trying to think I'm like I've been on like two dates to this restaurant the past like three years I like this restaurant I'm trying to think of like She's like oh yeah it's like we know that you it's okay don't worry and I was like But the problem I really started thinking about it so I'm really close with my sister my best friend Crystal who signed me up for the show and my cousin Sarah and I'm thinking like do they think that like every time I go with my sister or my best friend that's like a date date. Plus, when a producer came to film me for Paradise, I brought her there because
Starting point is 01:27:57 I was like, this is my favorite place to go. And so she must have thought, then I was a date, and then I brought two dates. And I'm pretty sure I brought you there one time too. I don't remember. But then I was like, oh, shit. I wonder if it was like, Rhode Island, unite against Sharon. I swear it's my sister. That is a classic mix-up, though. I don't think it's classic mix-up with Logan. A little bit of a romantic restaurant for you to be taking
Starting point is 01:28:20 Crystal, your cousin, and And Shannon, though. It is a little weird. Is that at the bar? Yeah. She's at the bar. It's a date vibes, though. Like, if you're going at the bar, you're like casual, we're grabbing drinks and maybe we'll order food.
Starting point is 01:28:36 We've been together for so long. It's just not even. It's like a night out. Oh, we'll talk to the bartender. We'll learn about him. Dude, I would love to be a bar person. It's like a candlelit intimate restaurant. We're going to have to see pictures of him.
Starting point is 01:28:49 Did you guys, so were you still there when the. new people came in? Did you get to talk to any of the new people? Because I'm curious about these just Australian folks that they threw in here. I know Florence. Okay, you know Florence. Because I was on Bachelor in Paradise Australia when she was on Winter Games. All those years.
Starting point is 01:29:06 You weren't Bachelor Paradise, Australia? I was supposed to be on Winter Games. And then you got called. He wasn't supposed to be on Wonder Games. They had to choose between one of us. Yeah. And they chose Ashley. And then they put on the record as like winter games like biggest fan.
Starting point is 01:29:19 I loved Winter Games. I loved Winter Games. You can get the hell out of here then. Sorry, to bring up a sweet spot. They actually should have put us together on Winter Games because then we probably would have. It all worked out obviously.
Starting point is 01:29:32 No, we could have actually just gotten together on their games. Then it would have happened on camera. But yeah, so Florence was on my season of Bachelor in Paradise Australia. So I was down in Australia for two weeks. I made it through like five or a ceremony. I didn't kiss anybody. Honestly, truthfully, I'll never forget. I was on a date with a girl.
Starting point is 01:29:46 And I was sitting next to her and I was thinking about all the times that we had. And even though Paradise was a struggle for, for me like about how much I enjoyed my time with that. Like I was like man I just like one of those moments that guys ever I'm like I'm such a fucking moron. Like how you just like blink and you're like how the hell am I on this beach in Australia?
Starting point is 01:30:05 So yeah so Florence was on my season of Bachelor in Paradise Australia so I saw that she was coming in this summer but we just missed her which is crazy. I'm sure you guys have talked about this before but how was and I'm sorry that I'm even bringing this up but you brought up the story of you kissing her while she was with Kevin
Starting point is 01:30:21 Yeah. How did Kevin feel about all of this? Was, like, I don't, has that ever been talked about? Uh, yeah, because he talked about it on Paradise when we got engaged. Yeah, I mean, we watched that. I know, I know, but I'm kind of blanking. He was like. He was like up on the, yeah, yeah, I'm blanking.
Starting point is 01:30:36 I don't know. We were very open, like, we talked about in the story of us about how, like, that was it, though. Louis legitimately kissed and then, well, to be fair, I kissed her. Like, I was the bad guy in this scenario. It's not like Ashley. I saw it out because I knew I needed to make a move. No, but it worked out for you. We had never, we had never said.
Starting point is 01:30:51 We were a boyfriend and girlfriend at that point. We never had that conversation. And we had only known each other for one month. So like, I mean, it worked out for both of you guys. I know. It's not to like downplay the relationship. But like, yeah, because it was definitely not right to. No, it definitely wasn't right.
Starting point is 01:31:07 But I knew what I needed to do because I knew exactly. You had to step up? I had to step up after all my years of failing. But guys, look at what happened, though. If that didn't get broke, if that didn't get broke, it was two babies out of this. Exactly. For both parties. And then, like, he wouldn't have gone on Bachelor of Parade.
Starting point is 01:31:23 As every 90s cop movie would say, sometimes doing the right thing isn't doing the right. There you go. The other Australian is, like, actually Thor's stunt double, which is insane. Wait, that's... No, that was real? It was real. I looked up his Instagram.
Starting point is 01:31:37 I was like, I have to fact check this. He's really? His stunt double. I thought that was, like, a little... No, he literally... One of his last post is behind-the-scenes picture from Thor Love and Thunder. Of him, like, dressed as Thor, like,
Starting point is 01:31:48 he's actually Thor's... So pretty much... These girls are going to go after him and be like maybe I can get to Moritz. But no, nobody's talking to him. I don't know. These girls need to get out of this funk. They're like,
Starting point is 01:31:58 he's literally Thor. Nobody's, they're all like crying, sitting at the pool. Like nobody's talking to anybody. I'll tell you, it seems ridiculous. But like once you're there and you've like made your,
Starting point is 01:32:11 your horse's decision, it's so hard to jump out of it. I was so annoyed. You guys should be hosting where the girls go to Vindonza. Tell us about it. Amazing. They're like, ladies, this is like... We've had this combo with Robert Mills.
Starting point is 01:32:26 We have tried to say, let us host a date. And then yesterday we talked about BravoCon and we said, all right, we'll host a panel at BravoCon next year. And then ABC and Bravo can fight each other for us or something. Because we better host something in the future. Because we haven't hosted anything. We've been trying. Yeah, this is ridiculous.
Starting point is 01:32:43 I keep that they're not trying for you. It'd be so perfect. I know. They'll send Lil John down who totally cares about the show. He loves the show. I know. I think they found out that. that didn't really work out because you need a host who actually cares about the couples.
Starting point is 01:32:53 It should have been either Wells. I mean, well, I love Jesse. Jesse's so great. Jesse is cracking me up right now with like the power he has and like the way he, the dramatic of just like this is going to change everything. He's being a parody of the host.
Starting point is 01:33:10 So you think he's being like a parody. Like home host. Yeah. That's good though. He needs to lean more into that because if he's just trying to be like what Harrison was, it's not going to work out. No, like you can't,
Starting point is 01:33:20 you know. No, you got to find your own lane. Exactly, find Elaine. But I want to go back to just the girls acting like that. It's so easy to make fun of. But I'm telling you guys, if you were there, you would do the same thing. Yeah, I promise. That's why I, because when people...
Starting point is 01:33:34 You don't know until you're in the position. No. When people used to be like, oh, it's not working out with Jared, but actually, look who's coming down this person and this person. That's what you needed to hear. No, you didn't. Yes. No, those were all gross guys. Except for Wells.
Starting point is 01:33:48 We've talked about this all the time about. I had a lovely date with. Of what Nick's, of what Nick told you on the beach, which they replayed, which is exactly what you needed here, which is what I needed to hear too. Be like, Jared, like, you guys, because the problem was you and I were just, like, kind of toxic for each other for a certain extent, you know? I think we were hurting our chances with other people and hurting chances for us up. I agree, but my point being is that. You were fighting the fate. But my point being is like Jill and Jacob are probably not meant to be together.
Starting point is 01:34:17 You know what I mean? So it's like someone needs to go down. these two and shake Jill and be like, listen, Jacob's not the guy for you. This guy who's like the better. Thor's stunt double is literally indirectly in front of you. Thor's stunt double who like, listen, I love Jacob, obviously, but it's Thor's stump double.
Starting point is 01:34:32 It's like Jacob's the poor man version of him. Exactly. You know? That's exactly what I was going to say. He wishes he was Thor's stunt double. Yeah. And I'm the poor man of a lot of people. So I have like, Jacob, I understand your pain, brother.
Starting point is 01:34:44 You know what I mean? Oh, man. But no, it's been a, it's definitely going to be a juicy. for sure and I know we'll pick up with how Lace is going to react with Rodney which is probably not going to be good I can't wait it's going to be fantastic
Starting point is 01:34:59 but it's going to be good TV What was like the most surprising thing on the beach that like when you guys got on the plane and you said Jared we got to talk about this one thing I think it was Lace and Rodney to be honest yeah because there's so much yeah there's so many similarities
Starting point is 01:35:17 it almost felt like oh yeah yeah Paradise just right back into the swing of things. Watching your episodes were you guys like, wow, I wish they cut, I wish they didn't use like all of these. Well, we didn't want to talk about the boom boom room that much. They seemed like I was a virgin actually. They did. And we talked about it and we were like, evolve. Like, you guys are a married couple.
Starting point is 01:35:41 You have sex. You have a baby. Yeah. Like it happened. You guys did it. It's like not that exciting when it happens again, even if it's been a while. No, exactly. And like, it's very truthful in terms of like when we went down there, Dawson.
Starting point is 01:35:55 And about like the intimacy and like having like between the business and Dawson and us moving and our lives. Like of course like our dating life has definitely taken a back seat. So it was so nice to go down there. Yeah. But yeah, to the extent where I agree watching it, it was like, do they think you're a virgin? Yeah, they acted as if I was. Your date was so, like your date was adorable and like you guys talking on the beach and like talking about how you're really. relationship has changed.
Starting point is 01:36:20 It was so sweet. I love that. But I feel like if they gave us more of that and less some maybe less of just like. Yeah, the farting is funny. And she's like the creamy seizure. Yeah, of course. Put that in. But if you want to really focus on like, hey, this, this works.
Starting point is 01:36:37 Then talking about those things has more of an impact. I feel like that was the only thing that we were really sad about when people were talking about like wanting to fast forward through our scenes. I was like, you fast forward through my farting for sure. You should watch the beach seat. That one's beautiful. It is. Like, it is really, you know, I mean, obviously everybody gets off the show.
Starting point is 01:36:56 It's like, oh, it's therapy. And, you know, you get to talk about everything. But it is nice. And we've mentioned this a couple times today about how, you know, there's so many times, of course, we say we love each other so much every day. It's like, I love you, love you, too. And I'll tell her how much I appreciate her. Love you by. Love you by.
Starting point is 01:37:10 Yeah. But we never explain why. And we haven't done that for since probably our honeymoon. Yeah. So it had been three years. And sometimes you just. need those moments of being like, hey, I love you, but this is why. And then talking about Dawson and, yeah, it gets us emotional every time because it's like,
Starting point is 01:37:29 so my grandfather passed away last year. But I always think of them as like all of us do. Like, that's my grandfather. I never think of it as my dad's dad. And like, then I think about it like what my dad means to me and then what I hope, like, now I'm his dad and what I hope to be able to meet to him one day. And then, yeah, it's like. And Jared's going to cry now?
