Like, I just can't wait for this to be over. Like, I really, really can't. I would say the opposite for myself. I think it's getting easier and easier. The days go on for me. Harder and harder. I'm just used to it now. I'm like, oh, okay, I'm waking up, and I'm not. going anywhere. That's just my life like that is. And obviously, I wanted to end. And it gets to me sometimes. But as of right now, I'm doing okay, but I can understand how it's getting worse and worse on people

and just wanting to get out. Obviously. Yeah. That's unfortunate. But I mean, there's nothing really you can do. No, no, no. It's not, like you said, definitely not the sunniest attitude. about it, but we have talked about it. Like some days are just better than others, and some days are tougher than others. I think everybody can understand that. And I would kind of feel like a phony if I was just on here every day being like, it's great, I'm fine, everything's fine. Like, it's definitely stressful.

So I don't know. It's just another week that we're living like this. And yeah, I'm excited to hopefully get out of this. eventually, but I'm just, you know what I'm really looking forward to? Just seeing people. Like, it's not even less like doing things and, and going out or partying or whatever. It's just, like, talking to somebody, doesn't even matter who, could be anybody, actually face to face in, in person. Because I talk to people, but it's just, it's just not the same. Right. Like, we only, know how to communicate through the, through the computer at this point. Yep, yep, FaceTime, calling

people, Zoom, like, there's just, this is kind of what we have to work with. And I'm just, that first conversation, like, seeing friends or whatever actually in real life in person, I might just like start bawling my eyes out. I don't know. Like, it might just be, but then also, I'm like, am I going to be scared? Am I not going to want to be outside anyway? So I feel like the moment where we're all back in the office is just going to be a beautiful moment. For like a week or so, then it's going to feel normal. But everyone's just going to be like the best of friends. Maybe not hugging each other because I don't know if human touch is really going to be a thing after this.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. But just being in the same room at the same time is going to feel good. Yeah. What's really crazy is like I know that I guess it's kind of the least crazy thing about this. but when we're all back in the office, it might just look so different. We could all be sitting in the office wearing masks all day. Like, you know, how they're going to be able to make sure that people are back in office spaces in Manhattan. I don't know how they're going to do it and like on the subway and everything.

It's just, it could be kind of freaky. Right. Like masks are the new shoes. Yeah. Like you've got to be wearing them. Yeah. I mean, in New Jersey, it's a straight up law now. Like, you're outside.

You must have one on. Yeah, I haven't seen anybody in New York City on the street not wearing a mask. Everyone has one. Either a mask, bandana, whatever it is, they're wearing it. So I've been online trying to, yeah, I haven't gone anywhere besides the doctor, but that's not fun. and not Corona-related, but yeah. No, no. I just keep thinking, like, I haven't gone, I haven't gone anywhere. I haven't had to go to the store, really.

And then the last time I was in one was local, and I was the only person in there, so it wasn't that big of a deal. But I think, like, because I haven't really seen it firsthand, because I really have not left, but it could be, it'll be freaking. I mean, my dad bought. these, they're not even masks. I sent you the picture. It's not even like,

they're terrifying. It's a bandana. It's a bandana, but it's like a V for Vendetta bandana. Like it's like the mass from V from Vendetta. They're terrifying. I'm like, he's in Florida, elderly population.

I'm like, you're about to scare people in public. And maybe that was the whole point of him doing it. It's like freaky. So nobody goes near him. Who's like, fairly terrifying. I'm not going to lie. The thing is, at least he's wearing one. Yeah, that is true. That is true. It's, yeah. It may be terrifying, but as long as you got one on, it doesn't matter what it is. Covering up. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, you're right about the whole thing. I guess we should get the chicks in the office ones. We have them on the, we got to get them sent to us. Oh, yeah. The like the, the, um, buffers. I didn't know those are on sale. Are they on sale? Oh, okay. Well, you guys, you guys, you guys. You have to get them. can go buy them. musical reunion happening tonight, Thursday. A Disney sing-along. The cast will be getting together for at least a song, including Zach Ephraim. Not only is in a high school musical reunion. There's just all these A-list celebrities singing Disney songs, and it's going to be fantastic. Truly my dream. Just another Robert Mills, like another thing that this man has done that is just fantastic. And I'm a little nervous.

we'll see what happens. I think like the high school musical cast all came up with some like I think they're all singing we're all on this together together except for Zach. Like I think Zach was a last minute addition when he realized how big this event was going to be and how bad it looked at all the headlines were like Disney sing along high school musical cast reunites without Zach Ephron like kind of just makes him look like he doesn't care about the moment here. So I think he is involved now. And that's the. the first thing that you pointed out, you were like, Zach Efron's not going to be in it. So, of course, it just makes him look bad, so he has to do it. I'm very happy about it, though,

and it's going to be something that's just going to bring so much joy to people, especially for people who love Disney Channel, like us. We're obsessed with Disney Channel. Exactly, exactly. And Disney movies in general. And I just know, like,

Zach Efron, they're probably going to sing the song, and it's going to end with, like, a selfie video of Zach being like, hey, guys, just really want you all to know that you got to stay safe, I hope you're staying inside, staying happy, and, you know, I'm wishing all the best. Peace.

That is exactly what it's going to be. And that's going to be it. And we're all going to be like shit. And I'm going to cry because that's all I need to feel happy is just that quick little video of him doing a quick P sign. Yeah. It would be perfect. So if that's the case, then that's the case. This is how strongly you feel that Zach Frem will put a B sign in his thing. Really, I really think he'll end up the piece sign at all, P sign at all or just a.

I think his sign off will include the P sign sign. Okay, okay. We shall see. I like this bet. I like it. All right. We have other topics to get into one direction. Reunion rumors are sparking.

Demi Levato was on the cover of Harper's Bazaar magazine where she talked a little bit about Jonas Belaer, Selena Gomez, a mile. Riley Cyrus. We have some rumors that Victoria F. and Chris Soles are quarantined together. Olivia Jade's fake rowing pictures were released online. Of course, we have our feel-good segment, and we have a Listen to Your Heart recap with Trent. So let's get into it, starting off with the One Direction reunion. July marks the 10-year anniversary of One Direction, which is pretty preposterous in its own right. like besides the fact that everyone's like,

oh, they're going to get 10 years. It's been 10 fucking years since One Direction started. How is that possible? I'm thinking back, and the first song I remember was when you don't know you, that came out. And that was like the,

and story of my life. And that was all I really heard from One Direction. But I remember the summer it came out. And that just doesn't feel that long ago to me. And I, I guess it is technically a little different for us Americans because they were on the X Factor UK. So I think this is like the anniversary of One Direction as a band kind of being formed,

in which case, not that it was slow to get to America, but it definitely was bigger in the UK than it was here and then they obviously blew up here too. But I am having like flashbacks of my sister and I watching all of their YouTube videos from the X Factor, because obviously we weren't watching live when it was on in England. And so we, I watched all the YouTube videos.

They did a cover of Torn that still, sometimes I go and listen to sometimes. If you haven't seen it, they performed it on the show. And it's One Direction singing Torn and it's fantastic. And I can't believe that was so long ago, but obviously there's been so many ups and downs for these guys, Zane leaving, the band breaking up, but in honor of the 10-year anniversary,

it appears there is going to be some type of reunion, maybe a TV special, it's not ruled out, maybe a new song, a new single from them. The only thing that was definitely ruled out was a reunion tour, which makes sense.

I feel like that does make sense. I don't know where this came from. but I'm absolutely shocked. I thought that One Direction would never be reuniting. Just from seeing the way they've talked about each other in the past, it doesn't seem like they have, you know, it does seem like they appreciate each other. And obviously, they got their start from X factor in one direction. But when Harry Styles kind of shaded Zane a little bit on SNL, and who was the one that was like making fun of the way Harry dresses and just, it just sounded like they had these petty feelings towards each other, but maybe at a time like this, they're like, you know what, it is what it is,

we were one direction. This is why we are known. Let's just reunite and make people feel good. Right. And I think everybody feels pretty sentimental and not to make this comparison, but I'm going to make the comparison. Like, you last podcast, when you told a story about reaching out to your friend, who you hadn't spoken to for so long, who was your best, best friend growing up.

up. Like, I feel like it's very similar. These boys all grew up together. They all shared these insane life moments and then kind of drifted apart, but recognize how big 10 years is and they're having these conversations. So it's nice to see that they're all communicating. Liam was on the late, late night, late late show with, um, late, no, what am I saying? What's James Corden? The late late late show. Right? light show. Yes. No, it's nodding his head. Yes. Yes. And he was video chatting with James. And obviously, James asked him, because James loves one direction. And he, like, obviously, he was like, I can't give anything away, but it's obviously something's happening. He said that they've all been in contact with each other. They've all been speaking more. He said he had a beautiful FaceTime with Nile recently. He described it as beautiful. which just sounds so lovely. You spoke with Louis,

and it seems like this is actually going to happen. And this all started too, because everybody noticed that they followed Zane back on Twitter. Not followed Zane back because Zane doesn't follow them, but they all followed Zane on Twitter, which I guess they weren't. But not on Instagram. And I feel like Instagram's the more important follow.

I think that it was really, funny when we put up the video on Instagram where we were like, yeah, they followed, they started following each other and people were like, but Zane did not follow back. Like all the comments wanted us to know that Zane was in fact not following them. Yeah. Yeah. It's and you'll, you agree with me, right? Ria, like I feel like the Instagram follow is the more important follow. Yeah. Yeah, because I feel like celebrities now, they really are worried about Instagram, not Twitter. Right. And Twitter, for some of those big celebrities, I feel like they are not on Twitter as much. And Twitter is kind of just a business tool for them. And Instagram is probably what they're actually browsing themselves, if at all. So it was interesting that, you know, I don't think it's, I don't think they all follow them on Instagram. But yeah, they did that on Twitter. Everybody freaked out. Like 1D reunion concert at home was trying to. on Twitter for like a day and all the one direction fans are freaking out.

I, as a fairly big directioner, I'm very excited. I would really love for them to put out a new, my hope is that they put out a new song. Like if, if there's a, like if there's a TV reunion, that's great. but it's just with the with the world we're living in right now a TV reunion would what would that be all of them on video chatting from their homes like I just feel like that's not it's not good enough right but I feel like they're at a time in their life where they can't all decide on the type of music they like yeah but they just have somebody write it for them just be like here's the one direction reunion song it's poppy

everybody's going to love it and suck it up and sing it because that's and then it's that's it's it's just one song just one just one song that maybe they can agree on but harry leads it of course yeah yeah i mean and harry harry has always been pretty outspoken on saying that like at the time he enjoyed the music that they were making as one direction like obviously he has such a different sound now, but during that time, like, it didn't eat him, eat away at him, like, how you hear, like, Zane really hated what they were doing, you know? Right. So it'll be, it'll be good.

I'm, I'm very excited about it. And I just, if you really want to fall down a YouTube rabbit hole, just go through the old One Direction YouTube videos, because those boys, they had so, so many funny YouTube videos like right when they started. They were so cute. They were all best friends. And it might make you kind of sad. But they are entertaining.

Not payback to the bad bitch and baby I'm the baddest you fucking with a savage. Can't have this, can't have this. And it'd be nice to me to take it easy. Gone yeah. But no. Baby.

The Lotto was on the cover of Harper's Bazaar magazine for the U.S. First of all, the pictures. are absolutely stunning. Stunning. So cool, so awesome. And she did a little interview where we got some insight on where she stands with some Disney Channel friends, which we have all been wondering this whole time. We definitely have, obviously, we think we're going to get a lot of info. I feel like with the new album, like she talked about a couple of things I thought were really interesting in the interview.

One was that it seems like she is very careful with how she talks about past events in her life because she knows at this point, like everything becomes a headline. So the author of the article wrote, her new music is confessional and bold, but she speaks carefully as she reflects on some of the events in her life

over the past two years that inspired it. I would hate for a detail to become the head. headline when I've worked so hard for my music, she tells me. But I will say that I've really appreciated the patients the public has given me over the past year and a half to figure my shit out because I think the mistake I made when I was 18 when I went into treatment was that I went back to work six months later. But at the same time, I've also sat back on the sideline for two years. I've kept my mouth shut while the tabloids have run wild. And my album is finally the place where I get to set the record straight on everything. My immediate first thought was like,

oh my god, I can't wait to listen to the album and guess which song is about the Jonas Brothers. I feel like it's going to be extremely easy for you to figure that out. She's going to mention the word brothers. Like, we know that there's going to be some sort of hint in there. Maybe something about a past best friend for Selena Gomez. Yes. She seems like she is going to be really, really open in this album and just talking about everything that she's been through in the last couple of years.

She did say, you know, that she was obviously super grateful for all the opportunities she got with at Disney. And then she said, you know, do I wish that I had more downtime? Yes. I think when you're when you are a teenager and you're giving your big break, you'll do anything to make it happen. I do feel that a lot of the way some of my life was handled and lived led me to, led to me kind of having a bit of a downfall just because I was so overworked and I wasn't dedicating enough time to my mental health or my personal life. She talked about reconnecting with Ariana Grande.

with Scooter Braun and just having feminine female friends and connecting over that feminine power. And she did say that this was obviously the only person that she talks to now is Miley Cyrus. The author wrote, I asked Lovato if she is still in contact with the Jonas Brothers. She shakes her head, no. I talked to Miley, she said pointedly,

she's awesome and I love her to death and always will always have. But I think she's kind of the only one from that era that I still stay in touch with. According to Lovato, she's not currently close with Selena Gomez, either the two are inseparable in their early Disney years. Gomez, though, posted a supportive Instagram story

after Lovato's performance at the Grammys. When you grow up with somebody, you're always going to have love for them, but I'm not friends with her, so it felt dot, dot, dot, lavado stops herself. I will always have love for her and wish everybody nothing but the best. So it was very strong,

strategic writing there, I think. Obviously, people talk about how things can be misinterpreted during a print interview, but like that was on purpose, like that dot, dot, dot being like, it seemed like she wanted to say something more about Selena, but was like, I'm not going to do that. I'm just going to take the high road here and say, I just wish everybody nothing but the best. Right. I mean, fill in the blank there, she could have said she felt it was fake or something like that. But as she was about to say that, she probably thought, okay, this is going to sound really bad. If I just wish everybody positivity and love, then nobody could say anything. Nobody could say I'd talk bad about her. As for Selena Gomez, I think that there's stuff about Selena Gomez that we don't know.

Because think about like, obviously we heard Selena Gomez talk a lot about what Justin Bieber did. And I believe everything. And he's said himself that he was an asshole. But we don't really hear anything about like Selena. Gomez and the same thing with Demi Lavato. We don't really hear anything from Selena's side of things or like how she acted. It just all seems a little bit suspicious to me. And I'm not saying that Selena Gomez has to let us know, but I think that there's something there as to why so many people don't really speak to her. But I still love Selena Gomez. I just think that there's underlying things that have happened. I'm with you on that. I love Selena also. And I think that she has just maybe been a little more close-minded to really getting into like darker issues that she has had possibly

because I agree with you. I just think it's impossible. And I could be totally wrong, but I think it's impossible that she was with Justin Bieber for all of those years when Justin was doing some wild and crazy shit and drugs and everything that he has been open about and she wasn't involved in some kind of way, you know? Exactly. That's exactly what I'm saying here. Like, you weren't best friends with Demi Lovato and also dating Justin Bieber to people who have talked about their drug addictions and then you were like squeaky clean.

Right, right. Which is fine. If she doesn't want to talk about it, I totally respect that. But I just feel like there's some stuff that we don't know, which is once again, just stating kind of. of the obvious. Obviously. And I still think it was a, look, I still think it was a super nice move of Selena. You could think it was fake. Maybe it was. I think, just from the way I personally was moved by Demi performing that song in that moment, I can understand where Selena was coming from,

like, if that, during that performance and being like, holy shit, and obviously knowing Demi so well and growing up with her to have that moment where like, oh, I'm going to post something and maybe it's an olive branch. Maybe it's not just because that was so insane and I'm so happy for her. Or obviously, she was like, ooh, I'm going to post this and everybody's going to be like,

yay, Selena. But I do think it came from a good place. I agree with you. I think it came from a good place because like we talked about just like reconnecting with old friends at the time. I talked about it last week. We talked about it one direction.

Like sometimes, and this was obviously before all of this, but sometimes when you know somebody so well and then you see them do such a positive and amazing thing, you want to compliment them, even though they might hate you. Like, you just feel like so proud of them. So I think that Selena Gomez wasn't being fake, but maybe Demi knowing their past. Right. She's just over it. She's just over it. So I'm, I'm just happy to get some answers. And it looks like Miley Cyrus is just friends with everyone. John's father, Selena, Demi. I love Miley. Isn't that great? Like, it is nice that Miley seems to be the one unifying factor from all of them that they all have

kind of kept maybe not the Jonas Brothers as much but publicly like they have no bad blood so it's like everything's fine but yeah it's just it's the Jonas Brothers and Demi truly I know it sounds dramatic, but like it truly eats away at me. I just, I, I want to know so bad everything that went down. And I know I'm never going to get that information. But like, with Demi's management, being Phil McIntyre, who is obviously the George Brothers management and is still their management and so close with the boys and they have such a great relationship with him. But then it's like, how did he treat Demi? Because Demi really seemed to have had such an awful relationship with him and like how that all blew up and where the boys kind of like

lost hope really on helping her. And at some point, they must have just had to pull the plug and be like, look, we're, we're done with you. Like this is, it's over. There's, there's no turning back. And it seems like obviously they're at that point for her. She didn't, elaborate on the Jones brothers at all, just saying, no, they're not friends. Who knows maybe down the line at some point, but for now, it's just obviously in such a relationship is just like in such bad shape. And it just breaks my heart. It breaks my heart because they, even when it was like Camp Rock and then it was, oh, Joe and Demi, and then it was oh Joe's out of the picture,

but Nick and Demi are such great, great friends, Nick and Demi are best friends, and they went on tour together. I went to that tour, the Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato tour, and it was fucking awesome. I'm not surprised you did. It was an amazing show. Like, imagine it was just Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato.

They had their own sets, and the whole thing was just fantastic. I sat in the last row of the Prudential Center with Claire. I remember it, And we, like, it was one of those last second, like, okay, how do we not go to the Nick Jonas Demi Lovato concert? And it was amazing. It just makes me sad that it's just, it's over. Yeah, I feel like it makes a lot of people sad, but I don't think there's any looking back for him.

I know, I know. And I said to you on the group chat, but it's like the girl for mean girls, why can't it go back to middle school? Rainbows and Sunshine and we're all just friends. They're all, we're all just friends. No, just end this segment with that clip. Yeah. I just wish we could all get along like we used to in middle school. I wish that I could bake a cake made out of rainbows and smiles

and we'd all eat, be happy. She doesn't even go here. Do you even go to this school? No. I just have a lot of feelings. What a little, just a low-key dig at Trent right there?

Well, because I do remember, like, I think Trent, I think, I think, I think, I watched Crystal season. and he has talked before about there being a lot of like, oh, Chrysols, Iowa, corn, Trent, you know, the combination. But he, I will say it was a pretty boring bachelor. His season was pretty boring. The highlight of his season was all the girls because there have been some of the best Bachelor women

came from his season between Caitlin, Ashley I, Becca Tilly. Like there's a ton of great girls that came from Chris the whole season. But Chris then, you know, had some issues after the show. He was in a hit and run situation where he was driving. I believe it was dark and he didn't see. He was in his truck and he hit a man. in a tractor and I believe the tractor turned over and the man died, which is terrible. But Chris Sol's had attempted CPR and to help the guy and had called the police but left before the

police got there. So it was still legally considered a hit and run kind of situation. I do believe he had to pay like millions of dollars in a settlement with the family. And then honestly, the case was settled. I want to say not that long ago, like the summer of last year. He was put on a two-year suspended sentence and probation and there was a fine. So he's not going to jail. So he obviously, he's home now clearly. It's if Victoria F is spending time with him in Iowa.

but that is just, and look, because this is what happened. Chris Soles, he was on The Bachelor, he was on Dax for the Stars, then this whole thing happened, and he obviously has not been in the spotlight. Like, it's like he went through this horrible thing, and every new story about him was about this accident. And now he's just popping up again as somebody that's spending time with Victoria F, which is why it is even more random. Like, it's not like he is in that,

influencer life where he's at all these events and this and that and mingling with other bachelor people it's like what did he slide into victoria f's dms i just don't i don't understand i can tell you fran that's probably exactly what happened but how thirsty of victoria f to be going and and quarantining with him at a time like this like right you guys couldn't wait to hook up you guys want each other that bad this seems like such a brand new thing it's so odd to me now Like I said, I don't know him because I didn't watch his season. Like, there she is, faking on this rowing machine. It would have been, I mean, this is, I guess, maybe a little mean to me, but if there were, like, real pictures of her rowing,

like they hired other girls to pretend to be a crew team and put the boat in the water and staged, like, full-blown, you know, rowers in boat photos. to send, but all they needed was this one on the machine. All of these court documents obviously came out. They came out last week with emails and transcripts and more photos of the family's connection with the ringleader of this whole thing, Rick Singer.

And so obviously, Olivia is extremely embarrassed. A source shared with e-news that, she is fully aware that this predicament is ongoing and she will have waves of sadness and anger. Further, the source shared that the two sisters have definitely been leaning on each other and it's been helpful that they are going through this together. The family is constantly stressed and there are a lot of ups and downs. They try to stay positive, but it's a cloud over their heads all the time. The source shared that Jay just wishes this was all over.

So I feel like it's really hard to be, oh, that sounds, I was a lot. going to say it's really hard to be in their position because obviously they made a huge mistake and people are really mad at them for that, which I get. But I also feel like it is hard to be in Olivia's position because she knew what she was doing clearly because she was helping stage the photos. But did she not ask like mom, why am I taking this picture? She obviously knew that. But then she's probably just blaming it all on her parents now. Meanwhile, it kind of has to do with her too, considering she went along with it. It's very clear she knew. You don't just staged rowing picture because your parents like, oh, we just need this for no reason.

So imagine, imagine if Lori, imagine if Lori like took them to the gym and was like, well, honey, why don't you, why don't you just go on the rowing machine for a little bit? It's very strange how they just had one at their house. But anyways, yeah, it makes sense why she would be mad at her parents. But I also think that she really can't be that mad at them because she went along with it. they were doing this for her. Right. What else is she supposed to?

Hate her parents? No. I feel like at this point she maybe almost wishes that they had just ended this months ago, you know, instead of fighting back in court for months and they continue to fight against it, fight against it, fight against it, fight against it, when if maybe she went the, the Felicity Huffman route and just bit the bullet. and went in for a few days and then came out and none of this, like it just wouldn't have been dragged on this long.

It's going to continue and continue to be dragged on because they continue to fight it when I feel like Felicity was like, look, I fucked up, I know I fucked up, I'm going to pay the price and then hopefully this whole thing is over. My family can move on. Instead, this family is just going to have to continue to endure all this because more and more information is going to come out as the case continues. Yeah, I don't know why Lori, you know, even feels the need to keep defending it when it's quite obvious what she did. It's like, like you said, like just go to jail for a little bit.

Now she won't because obviously the coronavirus, they're not going to put her in jail now. But if she would have just went when Felicity went, this all would be over. Maybe she would have gotten a little more time than Felicity because she did a little bit of a worse thing. She was definitely facing more time. But if she just admitted to it, it would have all been over with by now. But instead, they're living with this cloud over their head. I bet Felicity Offman doesn't even care anymore because she's through with it. It's over.

And I will say I was reading some of the, like the email transcripts that went back and forth between this guy, Rick and their dad. and then Massimo's interactions with a counselor at Olivia's high school.

And boy, does that guy just seem like a dick. Because apparently, like, somebody from USC had called Olivia's high school, like to the college counselor, guidance counselor, whoever, and had mentioned the rowing. And the counselor was like, I don't know what you're talking about. I know she has a crazy schedule with her video stuff and whatnot. And then her dad, like, went to the school and, like, basically tore apart this counselor and was like, don't talk about my daughter. Like, it was just, just seems like not a nice fella.

This woman is just absolute, I would say like, you know, a spirit animal for us per se. This 93-year-old woman went viral after she ran out of beer. She was at her door. A travesty. Yes, with a sign that said, I need more beer. And had a cores light can in her hand.

So this is Olive Verna, uh, veronese. and she went viral after the CNN Pittsburgh affiliate shared her photo with Corr's light in hand. Obviously, that she needed more beer. The photo, which was taken by one of her family members, was shared more than five million times. And so a Molson-Corps spokesperson told CNN, when we saw Alla's message, we knew we had to jump at the chance to not only connect with someone who brought a smile to our faces during this pandemic, but also gave us a special opportunity to say thanks for being a Coors Light fan. Even in the pre-COVID era, we would have been thrilled to fulfill Olive's request, the spokesperson said, but in this moment

during these unusual times, bringing a little bit of joy to someone's day is the least that we can do. And so they sent her 150 new Coors Light, ice cold beers. She doesn't have to, she can keep them to herself. She, this lady is just fantastic. She told the news that she goes, I was on my last 12 cans. I have a beer every night. She's just, let me see, she says, I have a beer every night. You know what? Beer has vitamins in it.

And so the mom wrote that they have a sign on their door outside that says, you know, that they have somebody with an autoimmune disorder inside. It's kind of like a stop. And then the sign is written on it. And she put this on a tweet. She said, we have a sign on our door for packages, mail, as our 11-year-old

daughter is a type one diabetic. Our Federal Express delivery guy wrote this on our box. So they had a, obviously a box delivered to their door and their FedEx driver wrote, I sanitized your box once I saw the note on your door. Stay safe, smiley face, which is just so nice. If you have not watched because you're trying to boycott because you don't think it's the right show for The Bachelor franchise, you are wrong, it's amazing, and we're here to tell you that. Yeah, you know, I definitely had a moment where I was watching, and maybe midway through, I was like, okay, is this actually good or am I just really that desperate for something like this on my TV? And I decided it's kind of a combination of both. and I am perfectly fine with that.

I was very entertained. I think when we get to know these people a little bit better, we're all going to be like way more locked in. But the concept of it, I think, is fantastic. Yeah, and if there was ever a time to like get into a show like this, it's obviously now. There's no Bachelorette on the horizon. Bachelor just finished up.

Bachelor in Paradise is going to be tough to squeeze. in with the scheduling. So listen to your heart is just what we have right now in a world where there's almost no new content. If you can tell me, if you're going to tell me that Chris Harrison is going to be hosting a show basically about The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, I'm it. Yep. Um, I think that the best part about this was seeing Chris Harrison on our screens again for the first time in a long time. Just him in the front of the mansion just made me feel safe. A new mansion. A new mansion. It made me feel safe and warm inside. I was like, wow, honestly, this feels great. How do you guys feel about the new mansion? I was expecting the old mansion, so I was caught

off guard by the new one, but the new one is sick. I like the new mansion because I also think that the old mansion maybe has, obviously it has its charm, but I think new show, new mansion, new concept and the old mansion is just like a little I don't want to say like depleted but it feels like the old mansion how dare now

like yeah like the people always talk about how like not really that nice the mansion it's got character no it absolutely has character and they will have to continue to do the bachelor and the bachelor right there but this is like this is a different show and I also

think that they're obviously way more open to all these people wanting to be famous. Like that's the whole point of the show is that they can be music superstars. Therefore, like maybe they need a little bit more of a, of a blinged out house,

you know? Like this is, these people are here to compete for startup. And I think it might be just a space issue. The old mansion is not nearly as big as this new one. And if you're going to have a Bachelor in Paradise style where there's going to be more people and more people coupling off trying to go to different areas,

I think you probably need a little bit more space, but I will not stand for any slander of the Bachelor mansion. We won't go against the old mansion. We just will continue to root for this mansion as well. Yeah, Trent, you're definitely right. I mean, if you think about it, when it's, you know, the Bachelor, there's just a ton of women and they all can stay in one space.

Now you need space for a bunch of women and a bunch of guys. So they definitely needed a new space. It's no matter what Chris Harrison, on that path that recently sprayed with water path looks good no matter what. All right, let's get into the cast of this show because obviously we got some characters. It didn't feel like a usual Bachelor casting though. It felt like more of like a Love is Blind type of casting, like a Netflix casting. I don't know why.

You usually get the feel for Bachelor people versus other reality shows. And this felt like other reality shows, but I'm. find with it. I liked it because it felt like they cast real people. Like sometimes with The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, you're like, okay, where the fuck do they find all these really, really ridiculously good-looking people, you know? And not that the people on this show are not good-looking. It's just like there is definitely a feeling of like a lot of these are regular people. Obviously, they want to be musicians and they are most of them. They're all. singers.

But there is definitely a different feel with the cast that you were like, okay, this is this is definitely kind of a love is blind situation where these are people who haven't been on reality TV before, except for Trevor. Yeah, with The Bachelorette, you're going to get really good looking guys, meat heads with the, they got really nice jaw lines. With this one, you could tell they sort of went around the country and we're like, all right, who's a prototypical guy from Austin who would be in the music? It's your guy

Sheridan. Like if you were playing a video game and you're trying to create someone who looks like they're from Austin, it would be Sheridan. Right. Right. That's exactly right. Which is why I think that this show is going to be so entertaining. It's going to be

just drawn, like a new thing after a new thing with this. And because even with the limo entrances, it was, it felt like the Bachelor. But it was, but it was it was obviously different. And then the pressure of pairing up makes it like Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise,

even like Bachelor Pad. It has like a Love Island feel with like kind of a recoupling situation where they all need to, you know, end up in pairs. But I think, I don't know, the thing about the cast is like I still don't remember a lot of the names,

but I will say that I think Savannah is going to be very entertaining. I feel like there's going to be shit that happens with her. Obviously, the Jamie, Trevor, Ryan Love Triangle. A couple of the musical theater people, I'm sure will make things interesting. Rudy's a little crazy. Yep. She seemed pretty normal at first, but then we'll get to it down the line. line, but she was really mad at Matt for the day card situation. There are a couple of people,

and I agree with Savannah for sure. I thought she was going to pop off the first night, because in her introduction package, she said, oh, I'm a wild child, I'm a free spirit, I'm into yoga, but you could tell she is like a little crazy underneath and is waiting to snap on someone. Yeah, I think Savannah is my favorite so far for the girls. Rudy's obviously a little bit crazy, but she did something in the end that made me like her a lot. I am obviously team Ryan all the way. We have, you know, the two main guys right now are Ryan and Trevor. And they're both in a triangle situation with Jamie. Ryan is so superior. It's not even funny. Okay. He looks like a mixture of John Mayer and Sean Mendez. He sings beautifully. He seems like a nice guy. And then we have Trevor, who I saw

somebody wrote, has been told that he looks like Ryan Reynolds just a few too many times, because he thinks he's just this absolute superstar god of a man who was on American Idol. And I could see straight through his bullshit right away. As soon as his face popped up on the screen, something about him I just didn't like. I was like, I don't trust this guy. I could read right through this. And then we saw some tweets about him that seems like the first instincts were probably right. I love Ryan.

I'm rooting for him fully, but it seems like Jamie is confused, and I'm pissed at her for it. Yeah. Well, also Trevor, I'm pretty sure they gave him one of Jed's jackets that he left laying around.

They very much put him in the side of, like, you are going to be our Jed-like guy. We couldn't get Jed because I'm pretty sure he's in a relationship right now, but Trevor is the next best thing. And yeah, the Ryan Trevor rivalry is going to be great going forward.

I said on Twitter, I said that Ryan is to tell, Tyler C as Trevor is to Jed. Yep. Now, we like Tyler better than Ryan, of course, but that is the comparison. Right. It's the two show. It's the two show comparison. And we were going to compare it. And I will say, Rea, you want to know whose fault it is for Trevor having a big head? Who? Katie Perry. Fuck you, Katie Perry. Fuck you. Katie Perry. That kid,

Trevor, he auditioned for American Idol and Katie Perry was like, oh my God, you're so cute. They're so cute. Like, just talking about how cute he is. And he probably left being like, damn, Katie Perry thinks I'm so cute. We saw some tweets that he allegedly was on American Idol. He had a girlfriend when he was on the show. And then he ended up cheating on that girlfriend. And obviously, that's public knowledge, not to jump ahead, but the preview for the weeks ahead,

it seems like a new girl shows up who is friends with Trevor's ex and totally confronts him about this cheating. So this is how you know like the Bachelor producers. They just, they're not going to give you a product that they know is going to work. Like where they have a good twist, they're exposing somebody. They got a friend of an ex coming in. And friend, I think you had tweeted about it. The way the rest of the house was treating Trevor,

since he had been on American Idol was so funny. You can tell they're all sort of up-and-coming singer-songwriters. That's the point of the show. But he had gotten a little bit of fame. Katie Perry had called him hot. And they're all like, ooh, that's Trevor. He almost made it. Right.

He's the guy who was almost famous. The also thing about Trevor is I just don't find him hot. And I feel like sometimes that happens where like there's somebody who's just like a classic hot guy where girls are like, oh, he's so hot. and it does the exact opposite for me. Like, I'm like, ew, that guy is not hot at all. And that's where I stand on trucker. I'm just like, I can't act like I think he's hot.

I know he's supposed to be this classic hot guy who's just so hot. I just can't. I can't stomach it. The other thing I love about Ryan, who I'm also Team Ryan. He seems like a genuinely nice guy. One of the first times him and Jamie were talking, she was like, tell me a story about your childhood. and he was like, I had brain surgery when I was six.

And, but he spun it into a positive, which I thought was great. Like, he was like, it changed. It was kind of strange. He was like, it changed my perspective on life. Like, you're six years old. How much perspective did you have brain surgery? The way Jamie asked it to was like, what is one of your, like, fondest childhood memories, like greatest childhood memories.

It wasn't like, oh, well, what's something that you went through that was tougher or something? It was like, what is one of your fondest childhood memories? and he was like, well, when I was a kid, I used to get seizures. It's like right away, you were like, where is this going? He said, I got brain surgery and it was awesome. He said it was fun. I would have loved to see, like, I bet he was like a crazy wild child before the brain surgery.

And now he's just like this cool, calm, collected, wannabe John Mayer musician. I'm so team Ryan, it's not even funny. Same, Trent, I want to shout it from the mountaintops. I also think it's funny because everybody tries to, to get there, and I don't want to call it a sob story because it is very sad. Like, that is very unfortunate. But I feel like on The Bachelor shows, everyone tries to get their sad story in somehow. Like, everybody has one, kind of, some more extreme than others. And Ryan just right off the bat was like, I'm going to get this out first episode, first 20 minutes. So people know

I fucking had brain surgery. And I am here to live to tell the tale. Yep. I agree with you. And, Rhea, I feel like Ryan is one. It's tough because we are so team Ryan. as a whole. But like, and we're comparing him to Sean Mendez and John Mayer and like all these people. And then I'm seeing people, like, people are tweeting like that they thought he looked like a fish. And like somebody tweeted at us, a picture of him next to the fish man from that fucking movie that won the best picture. What movie am I? No, well, you know what I'm talking about.

Shark to, big fish? No, Sharktail. Shark Nato. No, no, no. Jaws. The woman, the woman falls in love with that fish monster. Guys. The shape of water.

You know what's I saw you tweet a couple times about him being called Matt Todd as well. And I was like,

He tried to get Savannah to kiss him 10 minutes into meeting each other. I like your lips. Yeah, he kept saying, I like your lips. Like I wasn't like, oh my God, these are all going to be Grammy Award winning singers. But when he started singing, I was like, oh, no. Is this like, I hope we're going to at least enjoy some of the music that is on the show. thankfully that was redeemed by Ryan singing John Mayer on the date. So they got their first date card and it was for Ryan obviously

because they knew they had to break up that love triangle. So Ryan took Jamie on a date. They went to Capitol Records. They got to record gravity as a duet. And you know what? I think a lot of people were worried. but I thought Ryan did a good job. I'm not, I'm going to say,

Noah is smirking. Like nobody can touch John Mayer. No, what, obviously they're going to sing a John Mayer song. He wasn't as bad as I thought he was going to be. Exactly. That's as nice as it's going to get. Yeah. Before we get too much into this day,

I do need to ask the question, what is the format of the show exactly? Like, they... Tred, good question. Listening to Robert Mills on your guys' show is interesting because he said that they cast people for a music show, but then as soon as they showed up at the mansion, Chris Harrison was like,

yes, the show is about music, but it's mostly about love. So you've got a bunch of people who showed up thinking it was going to be a music show, but the producers are clearly putting love and, you know, drama before that. I just don't know, like, what does the winner get? What does that all, how does that all work?

So, first of all, I mean, I think these guys, the people that showed up, obviously no, there's something to do with love because they got cast on a Bachelor show. Now, speaking of Matt, not knowing who Chris Harrison was, was absurd and he should have been sent home immediately. But I think the way that Rob Mills described it was that I think it's going to be like this paradise kind of situation where there's dates and there's re-parings and roast ceremonies and people pair up with different people. And then I think they're going to come to a point where like there's maybe five or six, four or five, I don't know how many actual couples.

And then it kind of turns into like a music competition. Because he did say there is a winner. Like there is a prize. So I don't know how like eliminations are going to go once it gets to that point. But he said like the first few weeks are this love type situation where I guess other people would be coming in maybe, I don't know. But that seems like the format for now, or they're going to continue to go on these dates. Just to be clear, I ultimately do not care. Like, I'm going to watch this regardless. And the more it's like Bachelor in Paradise,

the more I'm going to enjoy it. But if there's some sort of music contest down the line, I'm all gay for that too. Yep. I agree. So Jamie and Ryan, they sang Gravity by John Mayer. They came back. They let everyone know what they did. And Trevor took this as an opportunity to sing his own John Mayer's song to Jamie. Not as good. Had me rolling on the floor. Like, I was dying laughing that this guy was so enraged with jealousy that he had to pick another John Mayer song to sing to her.

And yeah, he just wasn't as good at all. And he apparently messed up a word. I guess he had like either mess up a word or changed a lyric or something. I don't, I don't recall, but I did see people on Twitter who were furious that he had botched a John John Mayer's song definitely not as good as Ryan Ryan's for sure better singer

Also that song is called slow dancing in a burning room It's about like a relationship ending It's a breakup song Yeah yeah oh it's that I know Big breakup song So it was a definitely a weird move But unfortunately a move

That absolutely worked Because she Jamie just like has this pull to Trevor. It's annoying. I think Jamie is, you know, she's 21. She's maybe not seeing the big picture. She's blinded by Trevor's American Idol fame and just thinks that maybe he's her meal ticket here. And I just don't think that's going to happen. Trevor, like he said, is going to be trouble. And there was another date as well, Matt, who didn't know who Chris Harrison was. took Mel, I think her name is, on a date.

I totally forget that whole date what it was entirely. Plain white T's. Right, plain white T's. How can I forget? Duh. Okay. That really shows where the plain white T's are right now in terms of popularity. That one's tough.

That one's tough. This was 10 years ago. Totally. Oh, that place was bumping. Totally. So they go on that date, but Rudy, who is a girl, was pretty upset because I guess she thought Matt was going to be taking her on the date

that Matt had told her that, you know, he would take her on the date, but he didn't, he took Mel. And so she was furious. She was like ready to burn the new mansion to the ground. I, she seems like she maybe has some extreme emotions and reactions that could potentially be crazy down the line. Unless there was something we didn't see, I'm pretty sure she rewrote history on that.

Matt went to Mel. to Mel and he went to Rudy being like, I had this date card. What would you want to do if we potentially went on a date? He did that with Rudy and Mel. And then he just ended up picking Mel because he liked her more. Rudy's pretending like he was like, I'm definitely taking you. This is going to be so much fun. I can't wait to go on this date with you.

When again, unless they didn't show us something, Rudy just flipped out for seemingly no reason. Right. Yeah, I was kind of team Matt in this situation, not team Matt overall because I don't really like him. but in the situation it just seemed like Rudy was freaking out like he had cheated on her when they've known each other for five minutes like it just was an extreme overreaction um but then rudy saved the day at the end of the episode so now i love rudy right exactly uh i think another person that they focused on a lot was julia um she it seemed like was had a choice between Josh

Bald guy was Josh right Yeah Mr. Clem Mr. Clem and Sheridan and she had a connection with both of them I think everybody enjoys Sheridan Sheridan seems like

a great cool fun guy he wrote a song that he sang to Julia was beautiful I tweeted that he is the Leo that we all deserve which it just you know he's got that he's got that look the hair everything um and i was very happy that julia ended up picking him because i feel like it would have been like we all expected jamie to pick

trevor i would have thought that like maybe julia would have just picked josh but she went outside the box and picked sheridan and it was exciting i was proud of julia in that moment yeah yeah this is going to sound dumb but because it's a show called listen to your heart but i was not mentally prepared for people to continually being like, hey, let me play a side and play a song. Because if you remember, the worst parts of Jed were when he would do that. So now we are faced with an entire cast and an entire season of people doing that. Again, I'm going to keep watching. It's not that big of a deal. But I need to be more mentally prepared for those. Hey, let me play aside and play a song I wrote for you. And then I can just brace myself because there's something

very uncomfortable about watching one person play a song to one other person. Right. It is true. It is kind of awkward to watch sometimes, but I feel like the producers saw how much everyone freaked out over Jed and his songs and his singing and everything. And they were like, we can just turn this whole concept into a show and have everybody just sing to each other. I mean, Hannah B had a very funny tweet during the night, where she was like, this is all very triggering for me. And it's true. I mean, she lived that where Jed was just singing to her all the time.

But I don't know. It is crazy. And the listen to your heart aspect is really going to come into play way more than I thought also. Like when Chris Harrison at the Rose ceremony just straight up dropped like, listen to your heart, everyone. I was like, oh no. I didn't realize that this was like a catchphrase too. I really hope he does that every single week.

It was like, you're at a movie and they say the name of the movie. It's just like, we're doing it. We're really fucking doing this. Yeah, really breaking down the fourth wall. Well, the episode ended, like I said, Rudy saved the day because Jamie had picked Trevor and I was so pissed. I was so pissed. I tweeted, fuck you, Jamie, fuck you.

In the moment, I realized that was a little aggressive, but I was pretty mad about it. and thankfully, Rudy, who had the last rose, gave it to Ryan so we can now see where Ryan will continue to grow on this show and hopefully kick Trevor's ass. I know he won't do that because he's a nice guy.

These are musicians, Rhea. Yeah, musicians aren't going to be fucking fist-fighting, but kick his ass with some musical talent. Some power notes. Yeah. Who did Cheyenne pick? She was the one who picked like a random, Matt, I think, right?

Yes. Matt thought he was going home. That's why you're getting confused, because there's a Matt, so you're calling him Matt Todd. Yes, yes. Oh, boy. Cheyenne picked Matt, and everyone was like, oh, shit, because she was like a wild card. They didn't know who she was going to pick because Mel, who he went on the date with, picked Gabe. Right.

And then I like Gabe. And I also think my, right now, another sneaky favor that I think could go, very far is Chris and Bree. Yep. I think they, like, they are laying low because it seems like they actually have already a connection. Just wait till they start singing to each other. Right.

That's going to be the, that's going to be the thing. These people have all this chemistry to get all this physical chemistry, but then they're going to be put in a situation where it's like, all right, now you guys have to play music together. And I cannot wait for that not to match up for some couples. And it's just going to completely fall apart. like I can't sing but if I was forced to sing love songs with a guy that I was attracted to over and over and over again I'm probably falling in love with the guy like it's just like if he's just going to sing love songs to me all the time like then yeah I can understand where a connection could form so that's what happened to Hannah exactly it's going to be very very interesting and I'm trying to think if there's any

have anything else they would like to share from from the episode? I appreciated that we got a couple of hot tub makeouts. That was always good. You like to see that. Weird hot tub. Very weird. Big, like a big hot tub. It was like a pool. There was no bubbles or anything. Rudy, I think it was Rudy, who just like ducked her head under in the hot tub. Or was it Becca? No, it was Rudy. That was Rudy. What's weird about that? I just thought that was a bold move. Night one, makeup. You're on a reality. TV show and you're just like, fuck it. I'm going to go, I'm going to get my makeup, my hair, everything. I'm going under. I respect her for that because I hate when you're like in the water

and half your hair is wet and then the top, your face is fine. The top, like, just go full under if you're going to be halfway under. That's, that's very fair. I agree with you in real life. And I was surprised to see that happen on a reality show. The last thing I want to mention is, oh my God, hello. Doorbell. That just scared the shit out of me. Is that, wait, was that a real doorbell? Yeah, that's Rea's doorbell. I couldn't tell you the last time I heard a doorbell.

Yeah, that was kind of nice. Yeah, that's Reyes' doorbell. Genuinely scared the shit out of me. I know it's just a package, nobody's at my door. Yeah. They deliver the packages to the door by, and they ring the doorbell. Oh, my God. Oh, God.

Oh, man. Even my heart's racing. Woo, okay. Like I was saying, the last thing I want to talk about, very brief, is just the fact that Trent, I think you were now like this child of Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima. Like they tweeted that they want to take you on vacation, that that Chris Harrison misses you. It's really gotten to a level that I could have never dreamed. Like when I, when I'm tweeting about these things, I love it.

It's the favorite thing, my favorite thing that I do. But then afterwards, yeah, to have Lauren Zima be like, hey, you should come on a trip with us. And then a couple minutes later, Chris Harrison, boy, do we, we miss you, my friend. And it's really, it's all gotten to a point that I can't believe, but it's, nothing makes me happier. You're just a legitimate member of the show. Like, it's like they did a show without you. And they're waiting until they can go back to filming a show where you're back. I do.

I got a lot of questions asking if I pull any luggage on this, on Listen to Your Heart. I don't. I have nothing to hide. I have no secrets to hold on to. I don't do it on this show. And hopefully going forward, like Robert Mills said, on your. your guys' podcast when you interviewed him, that I'll be doing it going forward. He was so great. I'm such a big fan of Robert Mills. When he was on your show, I just, I listened to that over and over again. He was

so nice. He was so nice. And he, Trent, he really loves you. Like, it was, you could just tell, even, because we were video chatting with him, too. It's like, his face lit up when we were talking about Trent. I mean, he's got, he put a Trent Luggage guide t-shirt into his memory t-shirt quilt. That's, that's overwhelming. Like I, yeah, I want to see that, that quilt so badly just to see, like, what the shirt is in between. Yep. Yep. Me too. Me too. It was cool. It was cool listening back to that just to hear how it all came together from his end. Because my end, it was exactly how he laid it out. I was just tweeting about it.

And then I sent him a random DM one time. And I waited and I waited and it finally happened. But it was cool to hear him talk about the meetings and just sort of what went down.
