Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners, you can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad-free on Amazon Music. This is state of emergency. What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Monday. Sorry, we are a little late. We were interviewing Ashton Coucher. If there ever was a reason for us to be a little late today, I think that's a good one. I think it's a solid reason.
Starting point is 00:00:37 We had an early morning interview. Solid excuse. With Ashton. And so we had to push back the recording of the podcast. Sometimes you've got to move things along when Ashton Coucher comes calling. Exactly. And because we had such a big night of the Grammys and we want to talk about all of it, gives us some time in the morning to let things digest.
Starting point is 00:00:55 Some stories to come out, some side plot lines that were happening in the evening. So a lot of good stuff. It's a great episode today. We're both recovering a little bit from. being a tad under the weather. Yeah, we both were coming out the other side. Laid load this weekend did absolutely nothing. I did nothing. Same. I did not walk outside into the wilderness from Thursday to Sunday. I did not step outside. Oh, I don't, I don't blame me for how cold it was. I didn't leave. I didn't step outside Saturday at all. Mm-hmm. It was too cold.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Way too cold. Way too cold. The wind chill was insane. I was on Long Island and it was. It was was whipping, like, so cold. Yeah, it was like the wind on Friday was the type of wind where it's hard to walk down the street. Like, it's blowing you back. Oh, no, yeah. It's trying to hold me back. It's literally blowing you away.
Starting point is 00:01:52 I saw a TikTok of somebody in Boston that was like, let's see how long it takes for this shirt to freeze. And they went outside in the weather. And they had like a, just a white t-shirt and held it up in the wind. and it took a minute and a half for the shirt to completely freeze. Was it what? I think. I would assume.
Starting point is 00:02:13 Did you see Mount Washington? Like a damn shirt. It's like the record like minus 104 degrees. Yeah. Ridiculously cold. The highlight on my weekend was making the toll house slice and bakes. Which let me tell you, those, when you do that right, it's hard to, it's really hard to mess up. Yep.
Starting point is 00:02:32 But when you time it just per se. perfectly in the oven. Oh. Nothing better. They're the best. I did it where you have the, not the ones in the like long container, like the ones that are in the rectangle
Starting point is 00:02:49 and they're cut into all the little squares. And instead of doing one, each individual square, because those gives you, gives you like a kind of a small cookie. We combined two of them. And so we made like 12 really big cookies. Oh, crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside.
Starting point is 00:03:05 Yeah, that sounds like a little. It was commercial. I mean, it was really the highlight of my entire weekend. That's the best. It was really, really good. It was definitely a stay inside snack kind of weekend. Definitely laid low. But big week for you. You're headed to Arizona soon. Yeah. And then it's Super Bowl week. I am a little stressed out about it. I don't know. I'm not going to lie. I'm trying not to. Why is that? Well, it's just like a lot of moving pieces. I don't know what to pack. The packing is what's stressing you out. Confusing weather over there. Confusing weather. It's, it's, yeah, it's the desert. Sometimes it's cold. It's hot during the day. It's cold at night. Like, the highs are like 70, 72, but then it's, those are like 45. Remember when we did the ATV thing and it was, it just went from like the second of
Starting point is 00:03:49 summertime? Exactly. Exactly. It just drops like that. So packing for that, I'm like, I don't know what to wear to the game. Like, what do you wear to the Super Bowl? Bring your Eagles gear. I obviously have my Eagles gear, but I want to, you know, like jazz it up a little.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Have you invested in maybe like a cool vintage jacket of some sort? I don't have one. I do have like a cool. I have a bomber. That's an Eagles bomber. That's Aaron Andrews, her line. It's cool. Like it's not the coolest.
Starting point is 00:04:23 It's not like one of those like cool vintage overseas ones. It's cool enough. The thing is now is I'm too late. Like I can't order anything. Those things take a while to show up. But I do. Like I wore. my Brian Dawkins jersey when they won the Super Bowl five years ago.
Starting point is 00:04:38 So I was like, oh, I probably want to wear that again. But I did buy yesterday green dunks. Oh, nice. Green, like, high top dunks with a silver swish. They're cool. Yeah. I don't have a pair like that. So I'm like, these are going to be my Super Bowl sneaks.
Starting point is 00:04:58 Those would classify Super Bowl sneaks. Exactly. Because I'm like Googling, what do girls wear at the Super Bowl? you know because people like get really dressed up I obviously am not doing that but I saw people like it's like oh like jean shorts in a jersey and then like high boots I'm like I'm not wearing boots I gotta be comfortable
Starting point is 00:05:14 I'm gonna stick to sneakers I wouldn't think too much about it yeah I'm trying not to overthink it don't overthink it it's just I don't have like any set plans like move in pieces I know where I have to be for work but other than that I don't know what I'm doing so I'm like what do I bring I don't know just gonna bring everything go with the flow I'm sure cool things will fall into your lap.
Starting point is 00:05:34 Just bring everything. But yes, I'm very excited to get to get out there. That is very exciting. Like we said, pretty low-key weekend didn't really do much, so I don't really have anything to say. Really at all. It was really one of those weekends. Yeah. Big time.
Starting point is 00:05:50 I'm excited for my upcoming weekend as well. I won't be in. I will be at the Super Bowl. You're going to be in the action. I'm going to be in the action. I'm going to be at the bar still bar. I would almost say more action. Like you're in more of the action.
Starting point is 00:06:05 You get dangerous. I know. Listen, don't talk to me about the danger element of this. Oh, you'll be fine. I see so many memes where it's like whether they win or lose, cities like burning down. Oh my God. And I have.
Starting point is 00:06:17 Do you think people are going to beat me up if I wear my Rihanna t-shirt? Why? No. No, I'm just, I feel like I have to wear Eagle stuff. I don't have any Eagle stuff. But Devin text me and she was like, oh, why don't you just wear your Rihanna t-shirt? and I was like, oh, duh, that's such a good idea. Like, whatever.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Would it be funny for the video? But then it's like, but then I feel like I become that person that's like, I don't know any sports, but like I do. I'm just not like, you know what I mean? Nobody's going to care. I know. Like, like I just said to you, like it really doesn't matter. It really does not matter what I wear to the bar on Sunday. Like, I don't think, I don't think you'll get chirped for it.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Like it's, for the people that know. you, they're going to be like, oh, that's really cool. Ria's here. She is from New York. I don't think anyone would be like, ah, she's got to be at Eagles gear. I'm either going to wear like all black or that shirt. Whatever, it doesn't matter. It does not matter at all what I'm hearing to the bar. It will be, you'll be in the, trust me.
Starting point is 00:07:20 I'll make sure to take lots of pictures and videos. I should like pretend to be Fran. Like when people are like, Ria and I'm like, no, I'm Fran. Come on, classic mix. That actually would be funny. You know what's crazy. That happens all the time. I still see people online.
Starting point is 00:07:36 All the time. Say, I've only listened, never looked. I don't follow any social and they think that you guys are. Or switch. Yes. There's people right now listening that don't know the difference between the two of us. I'm Fran. And I'm Maria.
Starting point is 00:07:48 That doesn't help. No, but sometimes they might be listening to the voice. They might go, oh, holy fuck. I've been thinking one of the other. Sometimes I still see comments that I'll be like, wow, I can't believe Ria told that story about blah, blah, blah. I'm like, I told that story. Yes. 100%. I see that all the time too. And I'm like, I really don't feel like correcting this. I know. I know. All right. Joey
Starting point is 00:08:13 Camasca called me Ria a few weeks ago and I'll never let, never let him live that one down. That, that's just fucked up of Joey because Joey knows this well. No, I know. I know. And I look at it and I was like, really, Joey? And he was like, oh, I'm sorry for. No, he like straight up, he was on, he called me, he straight up call me Ria. Like it was like, it was like it wasn't I mean he looked me dead in the eyes someone was like oh he is here so who it was it and he knows us like he knows who's who yes it was a slip of the tongue no it actually happens more often than it should yes but who knows people might think people might be like oh my god that's the that's the that's the barcel girl that's an eagles fan she's here and they'll think I'm you yeah
Starting point is 00:08:52 and I'm gonna do something fucking nuts yeah so that they think you're crazy yeah do it just beat someone up just be like and then they'll be like and then they'll go to look at my Instagram and see them in Arizona. Like, oh, she's in two places as it was. She really split her, Philly fandom. Is she faking being in Arizona? Photoshopped at the Super Bowl. Like that movie? Like, I just think, like, I'm at separate place.
Starting point is 00:09:14 Zoe Deutsch movie. All right, let's get into the rest of the show. We're going to be talking about the Grammys. We have a great game of trivia and a wonderful interview with the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Garing up for a big season. Housewives. We've got Melissa Gorga, Margaret Joseph, Stalores, Cattang.
Starting point is 00:09:30 love the drama, love getting into it with those girls. So let's get into it. We're going to talk about the Grammys. Starting point is 00:10:56 65th. Yeah. People are always excited about the Grammys. The Grammys brings out. the big stars, the big guns, they show up. Taylor Swift, she was there and she didn't even win, which is crazy. But she did win. She won, but not during the show. Yes. Which shocks me still that she showed up. Because I always feel like Taylor Swift is not showing up to any award show unless she's getting on that stage and accepting an award. So I'll give Taylor props for showing up to the award show.
Starting point is 00:11:23 I do think that she, I mean, she has really talked about how she believes all too well 10 minute version is like the best song she has ever written so for that to be nominated for song of the year I think she was right happy to recognize it even being nominated by going she did win best music video for the short film which very well deserved yes and so I think they start off right right off the bat with song of the year being a song that people have never heard in their lives. People went on YouTube to see how many views it had. It had barely over over 100,000 views on YouTube. Very confusing seems like an inside job. So, song of the year, and this is asked every year, right? It's like, well, what's the difference? Song of the year is songwriting and record
Starting point is 00:12:20 of the year's production. So song of the year was won by Bonnie Wright for just like that, which once you did take like a deeper look into the meaning of the song, very powerful songwriting. And she's an icon and very powerful songwriting. But 100% it's like, I don't even know what that song is. Like I've never, I've never listened to it. And it was up against, it's always crazy when there's one outlier song up against songs that are so popular. So ABCD, D, FU, About Damn Time. too well 10 minute version as it was bad habit break my soul easy on me god did and the heart part
Starting point is 00:13:04 five were all nominated for song of the year so bonnie beat out all those people and um it's not a popularity contest it's not it's not it's not but it is confusing and it is a lot of times and if you look at like taylor army politics are unlike any other award show in my opinion realistically should have won that award should she have i thought biance like should it could have songwriting. Like when you think of it, because when you think of lyrics, like that, the story Taylor Swift
Starting point is 00:13:36 tells in that song. Right, because it was a whole short film. The fact that there was a whole story behind it. If you... The Hart Part 5 could want to talk about it. That's true. Yeah. When you... God did as well. Yeah, like if... I mean, the lyrics of God did are great. If you think about the songwriting,
Starting point is 00:13:52 which I think when people hear a song of the year, they don't think about. But when you preface it, you say songwriting. Like, James's verse on that song is incredible. I could not have You think about all the song writing, you're just like, how did this song, no, but everyone's like, what is this song, win? Yeah. No, I agree. I agree. So, no, and there's, and I tweeted this, it would not be the Grammys without someone from like total left field winning an award.
Starting point is 00:14:20 It happens every year. There's always someone that's like a little more, like just not as mainstream that wins and everyone is like, what the heck? And that was that moment. So, you know, people can be upset about it. But you got to, I recommend checking out the lyrics for the song. It's very good. It's a right of passage that we need to be mad about at least one award that happened. The night started right away with Harry Seiles winning.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Yeah. Which I thought was really cool. Harry won two awards. And those were his first Grammys. And, right? No, he won last year. But just. happy happy for our guy Harry
Starting point is 00:15:00 loved his second outfit not the first. Yeah. Want that noted. I really liked his second outfit. I thought it was something I would wear. Did not love his first outfit. Yeah, I mean, of course that what he wore on the carpet is something only Harry can wear. It was giving rainbow fish. You know that book? Yes, yes, yes. It just
Starting point is 00:15:17 looked like he stepped right off stage and walked the carpet. Like, that just looked like what he wears during his shows. I don't know. There was something I don't know if there was something a little off or if it was the moment, but he seemed, I don't know, maybe overwhelmed is the word to use? Like, he won that award, then he performed. His performance was off for sure.
Starting point is 00:15:44 I don't know if it was the mix or if you couldn't hear himself. Like there was something that, like the mix, in my mind, the mix sounded a little weird. I think, yeah, it just sounded like you heard. he was way louder than like the music. Yeah, and I feel like maybe he tried to like change it up, like change up that song for it because we all heard it so much to like change it up for the Grammys.
Starting point is 00:16:06 And then it that it didn't really translate. What do you think of the whole like middle part where he's like, he was just like dancing with that girl? It was like weird. Yeah, it was just, I don't know. It just didn't like. And of course everyone's been joking like he's got to be so tired. And he might be.
Starting point is 00:16:22 He might be. Like that's really where it was like, okay, he looks kind of. kind of exhausted, but granted, big moment, and he won album of the year, which was surprising. Like I, that one really surprised me. I'm so shocked. Because his first two albums are just better than Harry's house in my opinion. But I do think that Harry's house is probably just more commercial, but
Starting point is 00:16:49 fine line and Harry Seiles. You know, that doesn't even matter though. Like commercial, it doesn't necessarily It doesn't have to be commercial. But his first two albums were like so special. Where like you lose for so many things you should have won for and then they're like, oh, we'll give this one to him. Right. Like Leonardo Caprio winning for the Revenue. It was like, really?
Starting point is 00:17:07 We're going to give it to him for this, but not all the other movies he's done. I also think it has a lot to do with perhaps just body of work and how much he's done in the last year that it's like, oh, he's just had such a massive year. And the album was so huge for me. And I really agree with what he said on stage. He's like, there's no best in music. it's people's taste. He kind of seems nervous. He did seem nervous.
Starting point is 00:17:29 He probably, I mean, he probably is. Like, even when Trevor Noah's next to him, he seems like very reserved. Well, I think the joke, like him saying, like, you know, when girls are throwing their panties at you, like, you're not going to be like, hell yeah. Well, unless you're Bad Bunny, who really, he, bad bunny is something. Let me tell you. He brings the energy. Like, he walked in, everyone was comparing him, saying he looks like the Spanish Brody
Starting point is 00:17:51 Jenner, which was cracking me up because I was looking at pictures of him going, oh my god he's he is dressed like brodie jennar from the early 2000s but he really brought the energy but with harry you're right it is more personal taste yeah and like for me harry's house falls second oh fine line harry's house and then harry's house instead of saying those were his better albums for my personal preference it goes fine line harry styles then harry's house and harry's house is a big drop for me from the first two it's just so different yeah no i mean i like the strip down of his first house Yeah. I listened to Harry's house, like nonstop for quite some time. So I was very surprised. It was great. Like I said, I think a lot of people were really thinking that one was going to Beyonce. But Beyonce did break the record for most Grammys. She now holds the most Grammys of any artist. She won her first one. And she wasn't even there yet. She was late. They said she was in traffic. She couldn't receive the award.
Starting point is 00:18:54 and then she won Best Dance EDM album which of course had some controversy as well because it's like well it's Beyonce but she made a dance album Wait that was under EDM EDM dance and I think people were like Does you not look at the other nominees
Starting point is 00:19:11 It was like Rufus to Sol and like And I think people were like oh do they ever even read this one out loud Yeah because that's weird Because like I would never call that edem It was a dance It's... Edm dance. Like, it's a broad category.
Starting point is 00:19:27 He took his out of consideration, but it would have been in that category too. Yeah. Like he made a dance album. Do you think he took it out because he knew he'd lose to Beyonce. No, he's like been taking a lot of his stuff out. I think he did last year too.
Starting point is 00:19:40 Yeah, I think he was, because he made it, he was like, I've really just made this because I wanted to make a dance album. And he's just, him and like a lot of artists are just like out on the Grammys. I mean, yeah. Because it's just such a political. thing and it's like what studio like what
Starting point is 00:19:55 studio like puts their money behind what are you do you think Beyonce paid for her her wins I don't think she needs to she's Beyonce I don't think she needs to either I think they certainly accommodate her it's like Beyonce in case you're coming and you're just gonna she's not gonna win anything
Starting point is 00:20:12 yeah like she she's not showing up and not breaking the record you know and it just so happened that she won just the right amount to beat the record but not win some of the other ones. She knew she was beating that
Starting point is 00:20:27 record. Like she knew, they told her in advance, you will be beating the record, you need to come. Or not you need to come. We would really, if you come, you will beat the record. Yeah, exactly. So, I mean, we saw that one coming. Lizzo won record of the year for about damn time. Lizzo was just
Starting point is 00:20:43 awesome. I don't know how many times. She's just so much fun. Hard launch of her and her boyfriend. Hard launch. She looks great, great energy. She seemed like She had so much fun with everyone around her. She was like, I'm just, I'm just having it with my friend Adele. They're taking selfies.
Starting point is 00:21:00 They're having a great time. Happy to be there. Adele seems like a ton of fun as well. I love Adele. She, that is like girls night, wine night. Adele, Lizzo, I think it would be so much fun. I always throw Jennifer Lawrence in there because she's friends with Adele too. She is?
Starting point is 00:21:18 Yeah. And they would just, I'd feel like you'd just throw them back and have a good, time. But no, I loved what Lizzo said about, you know, Beyonce. She's like in fifth grade. I skipped school and went to your show. And it's just really cool. And she, that song is great. It's a very catchy, well-produced song. As far as other winners, Adele won for pop solo performance. Like you said, never a bad time when Adele gets on stage. I feel like she always is unintentionally funny. I wish she performed. I know. Well, in my mind, I was like, Adele, knows. She knows her worth. She's not given any performance away for free. You got to pay thousands of dollars to see her in Vegas. Yeah. Wait, where was the award for in L.A.? Yeah. Okay, so she just
Starting point is 00:23:35 probably is going to fly back to Vegas. Yeah, I mean, and those videos from, those videos from the Vegas shows, like, I really wish I went to one. You have to pay like thousands. No, it is thousands of dollars. It's, it's, I see them all over TikTok. There was one the other day where a man was in the audience and he was holding up a picture of what I think Adele believed was like his late wife. And she got back on the stage. And then she started crying talking about the gentleman that she passed and she's singing. I think it was either someone like you or when we were young. like, oh, just like
Starting point is 00:24:24 Waterworks always. And then I saw another girl who, Adele, and she does, you know, she walks through the audience and she walks to the audience and she stopped and the girl's filming and Adele comes right after her and literally like puts the like, shares the mic with this girl and they're both singing into her phone and they're singing together.
Starting point is 00:24:44 It's awesome. She seems amazing. I'm happy she won an award. I'm happy, I'm having Beyonce. I got that one. Rob went. to Kendrick. Best new artist went to Samara Joy. Who I'm a fan
Starting point is 00:24:56 of now all of a sudden. I didn't know her. I did not know her either. And on the way to work this morning, I listened to her Spotify single of her singing someone like you. Oh, I didn't hear that one. So good. She's a jazz singer, but like she's just got this sultry. It sounds like the time machine. Yeah, it does.
Starting point is 00:25:14 It does. She really does sound like a time machine. Bad Bunny won an award. Sam Smith and Competrous one, which was big, because Sam let Kim go up and speak is the first transgender woman to win this award. Country album, Willie Nelson won. And then there's, like I said, there's the other ones that Harry won and the Cuffet, Beyonce, that was the award that she won when she was not there yet. But a lot of fun performances, I think by far the highlight of the night was the hip-hop.
Starting point is 00:25:50 just The hip hop medley I don't know what I did The anniversary, 50 years of hip hop It was fucking awesome Questlove like curated that whole thing He crushed it It did feel like we skipped
Starting point is 00:26:03 A little bit of the beginning It's like you can't get everyone You cannot get everyone there But it felt like It felt like they skipped Some people you know like You're not getting Kanye there now No no
Starting point is 00:26:13 No but it felt like you skipped like 2004 To like 2019 Yeah Maybe even later than that. Kid Cuddy. I feel like we missed that whole... Eminem 50 cent. Right?
Starting point is 00:26:26 Yeah, it's hard to get all those people there. But when Queen Latifah came out, that was when I was like, oh shit, this is awesome. Jay Z was there. He didn't. Yeah, I mean, but Jay Z didn't like... But now have Jay Z. He's so important.
Starting point is 00:26:37 I think Jay Z, if you could see from his face, he wanted to be in the audience. He enjoyed the hell out of that thing. Yeah. No, it was really good. It must be cool, though, to watch it from his point of view. It must be cool to be performing to Jay Z. and Beyonce.
Starting point is 00:26:50 Yeah. How about Buster Rhymes? He still got it. He's awesome. He still got it. He does. That was incredible. I was like smiling ear to year I guess.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Like I can't believe this guy's out. He still has it. It was awesome. They did God did at the end of the show. So that was like Jay Z's moment. DJ Cal just ruins everything for me. You say that. But like if you just go in with the mindset that he's so irrelevant to the song.
Starting point is 00:27:17 I know. But it's just like, yeah. Like, yeah. I think it's more just like his interviews make him so annoying. Yeah, no, that's fair. Like if you catch the E-News red carpet interview and you're just like... But even like if you remove him out of that performance, like it's Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, they're all rapping. It's awesome. John Legend.
Starting point is 00:27:33 John Legend. Then you just see out of the corner of your eye like DJ Cal like dancing in the back. It's like, this is just... I saw his... They're like, they're like he's our annoying friend that we have to bring along with him. I saw his... I saw his set at Coachella in 2012. 2016,
Starting point is 00:27:50 2016, I think it was, or 2017. And it was incredible. It was just, it was just incredible. Well, because it's just, all the songs are so fun. All the songs are great. You dance and, like, you're having a fun time. And then you're just laughing because he's just bouncing up and down on stage,
Starting point is 00:28:08 yelling, like, major key, like, we the best, like, just over and over. He's got a great deal going. Have you ever seen a video of him, like, videotaping his wife, working? out and he's just like yelling like come on you got to do this you just like turns and like shut the fuck up yeah yeah yeah but um yeah no a lot of a lot of great performances nothing really that i was like knocked me off my feet i think the hip-hop thing was by far the best part that they did i know the immemorial was beautiful had a lot of great singers Quavo and
Starting point is 00:28:46 Cuevo and Cuevo performed in honor of takeoff Which drama Where was a fight. Awful. This is awful because it's in honor of takeoff
Starting point is 00:29:00 But Cuevo and Offset got into a physical fight before that performance. Yeah, according to TMZ Offset was supposed to go on stage and Cuevo said no. It's so sad. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:13 To think about the fact that this is in honor of somebody and they're still fighting and they're still grudges being held. It's really sad. Yeah, if I had to guess, you know, Offset was not like on good terms with them. I think when Takeoff passed and I feel like Cuevo is probably like I, this is my song for him. You were not a part of this. Yeah, he was related to Takeoff.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Yeah, he's probably just like, oh, now you want to be a part of this when we weren't on good terms before. But you never know where you should land with that. Because it's like, do you set everything aside in honor of somebody? Or do you say, oh, no, you weren't there at the end? It's hard. And it's not, you know, it hasn't been that long. So wounds are probably still fresh.
Starting point is 00:30:00 Harry Stiles and Taylor Swift had a moment that everybody was talking about. They chatted. You know, a lot of time has passed. They seem friendly. A lot of significant others. She did. She was dancing for him. She was clapping for him.
Starting point is 00:30:14 I'm dancing for everybody. Standing on her feet, clapping for him. Wait, who's she dating again? What's her name? Taylor? Yeah. Joe Alwyn. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:22 Why doesn't he show up to these things? I think that's a privacy thing. They just don't really do these things together. I mean, I don't know how, like, doom was convinced, or I don't know if convinced is the right word, but she's fairly sure that they are married, Taylor and Joe. Really? She's been saying it for the last few months. I don't, there's no.
Starting point is 00:30:44 a really like, hard-core evidence out there. No, I, based on, I guess, what she's been told or heard, that she thinks that they got married in the UK at some point. When Taylor's both announces she's pregnant, it's going to be the biggest thing ever. Yeah, that's... Whenever that is. I saw funny comments that were like of Taylor and Harry,
Starting point is 00:31:05 and they were like, are they discussing the dead body they left in the woods? Oh, I forgot about that. Yeah, no, I mean, she knows when the camera's on her, and of course she knows that Harry wins an award Harry's performing they're going to show her she was clapping she was happy but she was up dancing for like everybody
Starting point is 00:31:23 which at some points is just always a throwback to awkward award show dancing from Taylor we haven't gotten it in a while it just feels like home she's she's grooving she feels happy to be there exactly she's just enjoying the music look if that was me I would look the same as her
Starting point is 00:31:39 because I can't dance I think most people would So what? Those fans. Awful segment. Awful segment. So didn't need to be that way. The Grammys has done a while.
Starting point is 00:31:50 The Grammys was three hours long, could have been two hours if they cut out. Yeah, so I'm a John Mayer fan and my favorite song. It's like, I don't care. They really thought they were doing something with that and they really did not. It was very try hard. Like, look at us. We're so inclusive. Look at all the fans.
Starting point is 00:32:06 And it was like, I don't need a table talk of you talking about this. It just, it was very sweet. It was try hard from. the Grammys. Yeah. Yeah, it was like, let's find a cute old lady who likes Harry style. It's like, what? No, I mean, it was, it was, the idea was sweet, but in the execution, it just felt like they also showed every stereotype for the fan. It was like, oh, of course this person likes Bad Bunny and this person likes Abba and this person likes Beyonce. Like, it just felt like they went too hard on like really trying to find, like, cover all. And
Starting point is 00:32:42 our bases and find the fans of each one and they match perfectly. That's what I mean by saying they were trying to be all-inclusive because, of course, they should be all-inclusive. But when you're trying to do it too much, it's like very apparent, not, not, I don't want that to sound wrong, but it's just like, we know what you're doing and it's not really coming across genuine. No. You guys look fake.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Yeah. I mean, Harry Seiles winning that award and that cute grandma reading the card was very sweet. I will say she was the best fan by far, as far as far as. like, I'm glad it was Harry that won that award. Like, because then it got to be that fan to do it. But if I'm Harry Styles, I don't know. I just want to like, I don't know. I feel like it's a big moment.
Starting point is 00:33:23 Like, I'd rather like an accomplished artist be up there that I go up and get the award from than like some random, like 10 random fans and like an old lady I have to like I mean, I don't think you're really thinking about that so much to be honest. So he won the award. Like I don't think he's going home and being like, damn, one best new best album of the year, but really wish Cheryl Crowe gave me the award. Like, I don't think he's like, I really wish... Just in terms of, like, the pictures on a stage and that type of thing.
Starting point is 00:33:48 I'm, I'm sure that's quite literally the last thought in his mind. I would not... He won the award. Everybody there is watching him win the award. The award could be on a stool and announced, like, via robot, and I think he still would have been very happy winning the award. You think Lincoln Payne is watching at home? Like, I just picture, like, that last scene at Dodgball.
Starting point is 00:34:07 He posted an Instagram. He posted a full Instagram. congratulating him full post. Wow. He's like, it's good to see one of my sidekicks. Yeah. Just some attention. No, it was very nice.
Starting point is 00:34:17 The 1D boys are very happy for him. But no, I mean, it was a fun show. As always, Grammys goes like an atrociously long amount of time. Hours and hours and hours. I did fall asleep. Once again, Trevor Noah not funny, but it is what it is. I'm not saying it. You did.
Starting point is 00:34:33 Yeah. He's just not that funny. He's just not that funny. He's just not that funny. And there's just just. some moments where you just like kind of felt like the celebrities it felt seem
Starting point is 00:34:47 uncomfortable at times. There was one yeah when he was talking to Adele and he's like like I sing in the shower and I think I'm Adele but you actually are Adele and it's like ha ha I couldn't come up with something better like that's the joke you're giving yeah yeah if I can come up with that joke it's not it's not good yeah
Starting point is 00:35:04 and you're supposed to be a comedian how did James Corden get to be the one to give beyond now if we're talking about handing out of How did James Corden get to be the one to give Beyonce her record-breaking grant? He paid. I posted where I just stopped doing under it. And some people thought that was real. James Corden paid to give Beyonce that award.
Starting point is 00:35:22 Because there's no way Beyonce was like, yes, James Corden's giving him the award. This is the last time when we'll see him until like this show is over. Starting point is 00:36:30 of when Harry was accepting the album of the year. Like people in the crowd were yelling, Beyonce, like, I was like, why, why? Can't we just let, it's, it's the guy. They announced the winner. That's the winner. It's just, I don't really. know. It's the worst thing that happens at award shows. I used to get worked up when the people I was the
Starting point is 00:36:49 most fan of, like, didn't win. Like it, like, it would have me worked up. But now I'm just like, it's so, who is yelling at? Like, contrived. Like, it's just, you know, it's not that serious. How do you think Beyonce feels that it's always her, right? Like, always, it's always her losing where people are like, it should be Beyonce. It's almost embarrassing for Beyonce to be like, All right, guys, relax. When Connie did it, she looks so embarrassed. Right, because it's like, you don't need to pity me. Like, I'm okay.
Starting point is 00:37:17 That I didn't wait. Her family goes the most hard. I think Yonzie's going to be fine. She has the most Grammys ever. Right, exactly. She's going to be okay. Literally the award, like, the most Grammys of any artist ever is Beyonce. Although I do think that her album was better, I think it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Yeah. I agree. I agree. And I like that it really did feel like it all got handed out nicely, even though everyone wants album of the year because that's the most it's like album of the year but biance won adele won lizzo one harry won like a lot of people taylor won like it's like a lot of people got awards in in categories that suited them and were there any grammy after party stuff yeah there always is i haven't seen any that must be a crazy
Starting point is 00:38:01 party like think about all the people yeah i think i'm gonna forget somebody somebody threw somebody throws a big no no i know there is i'm saying like there was no there was no after party. Pictures or anything from that. Um, no. That must be so cool. It's stars hitting the Grammy's after parties.
Starting point is 00:38:19 Imagine like you're like a smaller artist, but you get to go to the party with like Jay Z. Beyonce Taylor. Yeah. Oh, there's Madonna going to a Grammy after party. Camilla Cabo. Diplo. Oh, Diplo had a Grammy's after.
Starting point is 00:38:30 Oh, right. Oh, yeah. Father Kelse, my follow on Instagram, just like an Instagram model person. Yeah. Friends of Stasi Baby posted a very funny Instagram where the last slide was like, please do not show up to this event.
Starting point is 00:38:46 If your name is not on the list. You and your guests are not on the list. Please do not show up to this event. Yeah. Why are you getting that email, though? I'm assuming someone invited her and then she put her name and stuff in, and then she got denied or whatever. Lord Dern, Adele.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Everybody's popping out for the Grammys. Yeah. The Grammys after parties. Oh, there's French Montana. He's always... Yeah. With Drake? No, I mean, it's a fun show.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Like, the Grammys are always able to bring the biggest artist, you know? Beyonce, Jay-Z, Taylor, Adele, all those people in the same room. Doesn't happen very often. But it was a fun night for sure. But no... No, like, singular performances that really blew me away. I did love Chris Stapleton and Stevie Wonder was really good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Oh, this is the last thought for the Grammys. Ben Affleck's going to stop going on. Oh, Ben Affleck. So the Ben Affleck stuff, he looks miserable in every picture of video. Some were saying that it could be the fact that these events like trigger him because he's, you know, a recovering addict. And so it might be for the fact that like he used to go to these vents and get fucked up and whatever. Did you see that? one shot where
Starting point is 00:40:10 it looked like Jayla was like yelling at him. Maybe he's trying to work through it though. Yeah, but here's a thing. That's the worst like getting like MGK Megan Fox
Starting point is 00:40:18 had been caught in that thing where like Megan Fox is like mad at MGK or whatever. Every single couple has had a moment like that. Totally. Every single one. But he didn't smile once the entire night.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Right. But it's it's always worse when it catches on camera and that person all of a sudden Jaylo is painted as the bad guy but it's like that happens at every couple. Where they cut to Jennifer Lopez
Starting point is 00:40:38 like dancing and Ben Affleck was just standing. standing still. I think he's just uncomfortable. I think he just, it's not his place. I think he doesn't want to be there, but maybe he just wants to go to support J-Lo and maybe she wants him there and he's trying to work through it. I'm happy and he's like, wow, Stevie Wonder, like, what a performance.
Starting point is 00:40:53 Because he's, because he's Ben Affleck. It just didn't click for him last night, clearly. It's so funny. And look, he could also have, you never know. He could also have some kind of insecurity about, like, dancing or, you're, where he's like, and he's like, I don't want to embarrass myself, so I'm just going to stay silence. He knows silence.
Starting point is 00:41:13 It's also one of those things that award shows. These people all know the cameras could be on them at any second. So he's probably thinking the whole time, oh my God, there's cameras on me, oh my God, there's cameras on me. And then all of a sudden you could see it on his face that he's thinking about how uncomfortable he is. I'm thinking about how Noah would act if there was like a camera straight on him
Starting point is 00:41:29 and he was sitting front row at the Grammys. He would look awkward to? I'd be dancing if Stevie Wonder is performing in front of me. But like, you're probably just bopping. I don't know. I think that I would put it on more if I knew the cameras on me. I think I would like try to overcompensate. We've seen his YouTube videos. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:46 We know, we know. I'm trying to think when we're at the People's Choice Awards that first time we were at the table. Yeah. You were dancing at the table. I think I would. I don't know if I'd go crazy. Like, I'm also not Ben Affleck. So it's like, I'm just everybody has their inner thoughts when it comes to being.
Starting point is 00:42:04 I'll also say this though. It's easier. you'd probably be a little drunk, right? Oh, yeah. You'd have a little alcohol in or something. It's easier to loosen up. He's a sober guy. I think I'd smile. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:16 I think I may be, you know. He's certainly. The hitch. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He's certainly has to deal with the, uh, with the, uh, with the memes today for sure.
Starting point is 00:42:26 He's trying. Yeah. Yeah. He's there to support. Jelo is like, afterwards like, why don't you smile? Like, you make me look bad. I'm sure they have a discussion. There is a moment where,
Starting point is 00:42:37 Trevor someone was talking That's what he was just talking about No no no no it's a different moment They were not right on the camera Like they were out on the edge And you couldn't really You couldn't see their faces But you could see their hands
Starting point is 00:42:49 And J-Lo was just like on her phone And I was just like J-Lo's definitely on top Of what Like her publicist texting her Tell Ben to smoke Yeah no like I'm like Jalo's definitely On social on like
Starting point is 00:43:04 She's definitely looking And seeing what's reposted I think in that moment she was like already probably seeing people talking about it in my mind because i mean there's no way you you could miss it everyone was on the internet she's literally like you could see the screen of her phone like you couldn't exactly see what she was doing but you could see her like moving around on her phone i think that she's definitely got everyone in the commercial breaks definitely looks because remember adele when the rock came over to adele everyone was making fun of rich paul yeah kind of like just
Starting point is 00:43:29 watching the rock hug her and then there was that picture of him like fake punching the rock so they they probably just see they see what people say definitely definitely um But that's it for the Grammys. We have a great game of trivia coming up, but first we want to talk to you guys about our favorite Pink Whitney. You know that we love drinking Pink Whitney when we're out on tour before our live shows gives us that Friday energy we need a quick little shot. You know I love my shots. And the best way to do that is with Pink Whitney. It's Pink Lemonade vodka, the perfect combination, in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:43:59 So you could pick up a bottle of Pink Whitney from your local liquor store or you can pick up a Pink Whitney drink at your local bar. I've seen it all the time at bars I go to. There are special drinks, have Pink Whitney in it. So if you want to drink Pink Whitney, you could do it at your bar or pick up a bottle. Pre-game with Pink Whitney right now. And if you've been drinking Pink Whitney already, keep drinking it. And if you haven't, introduce it to some people. All right, everyone.
Starting point is 00:44:33 Welcome back to another game of Beat Ria and friend. This is Game 64, and we are joined by the lovely Brooke and Johnny. They have confirmed to us they are in a relationship and they have a dog. So it sounds pretty serious. Welcome to the show, guys. Thank you. Thank you for having us. We're so excited.
Starting point is 00:44:52 We're excited as well. We're going to jump right into it. I know everybody's ready to get going. So it's going to be 15 questions. Whoever is the most points at the end wins. If you got a question wrong, the other team can steal. And to determine who is going to go first, Noah's going to give us a movie. We are going to guess the Rotten Tomatoes critic score, which Johnny has been studying.
Starting point is 00:45:11 So if he lets you down, Brooke, you might want to rethink it. The living situation. I know. This is all me. Yeah. It might be the end. Okay. So we'll alternate guesses.
Starting point is 00:45:21 Everyone gets one guess. Noah, what is today's movie? Today's movie, shout out Anna from Milwaukee for this suggestion. Project X. Oh. Oh. Great movie. I get a low.
Starting point is 00:45:36 That's like literally my dad's favorite movie. Really? I saw it in theaters twice. My dad loves Project X. It's a great movie. Oof. Yeah. So Brooke, Johnny.
Starting point is 00:45:45 one of you guys guess first. Go first, babe. Is it my sole guess? Yeah. No, no, we used to go. Okay. But you go first. Okay.
Starting point is 00:45:53 65% I'm going to say, I'm saying, like a D. Okay. Damn, that's kind of high, though. Like, that was going to go somewhere around there. I'm going to go 89%. Okay. Uh, I think I'm going to go a little lower. I'm going to go, like, 35.
Starting point is 00:46:12 I like it. I'm going to say. Fran was the closest. 28. Nice. Nice. I can't believe you said, 89. 89 is so high.
Starting point is 00:46:29 I would expect it to have a really low score. And I've been wrong in the past when I do that, so I then went really high. Yeah, they surprised. I like the move. You know, you just don't know we're out in tomatoes these days. I just
Starting point is 00:46:43 imagine the critics weren't a big fan of Project X. That's okay. I was. Yeah. So was that. Okay, so question number one to Rianne Fran. All right, head in the game. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. All right.
Starting point is 00:46:56 Shout out Chelsea from Orlando. Brooke was all happy. I was off my game before we started. That put you back in. Yeah. All right. Question number one. Shout out Hannah from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Starting point is 00:47:08 This is to Ria and Fran. What town and state does the show Winterhouse take place in? Stowe, Vermont. I think they're in Stowe. Sure. Would have set up state in New York if you asked me. Stowe, Vermont. Final answer.
Starting point is 00:47:25 Correct. Thank you. Nice. Nicely done. All right. One nothing, Rianne Fran. Question number two,
Starting point is 00:47:32 shout out Gab from Long Island. This is to Brooke and Johnny. Name three artists that have recorded a James Bond theme song. Oh. Jesus. Yeah. Um, Adele.
Starting point is 00:47:50 That's probably bad. Yeah, Adele. I'm leaning on you for this song. Maybe Beyonce? 15 seconds. Yeah, just. Just send it. Adele,
Starting point is 00:48:01 Beyonce. Five seconds. And like the weekend? The weekend. I don't know. That's all I got. Incorrect. Adele.
Starting point is 00:48:15 Skyfall. Yeah, that was a good way. Billy Elish, no time to die. Oh. I think. I don't know. I think Sam Smith has done one. I know nothing about the...
Starting point is 00:48:31 You don't know anything about Pons. I know. 10 seconds All right, I'm going to go Sam Smith So Adele, Billy Elyle or Sam Smith Final answer Correct You guys are missing the most obvious in Paul McCartney
Starting point is 00:48:47 Live and Let Die Oh But there's a bunch Yeah, yeah Gladys Knight Tina Turner Oh I didn't know Alicia Keys I didn't know I didn't know that either
Starting point is 00:48:58 Cheryl Crow Okay Didn't know any of those Which is why I didn't include them In my answer Yeah Okay 2-0-0. Rian Fran, this question's to them.
Starting point is 00:49:11 Shout out Yenny from Toronto. What was Leonardo DiCaprio's two pieces of advice to Timothy Shalame? He said, don't do superhero movies. And don't do drugs. And no drugs. No hard drugs. Filencer. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:28 Correct. Good that you specified the hard drugs. Okay. Marijuana's okay, but cocaine is off the table. bad, which I'm sure Timothy Chalbys No need to speculate We got to step it up
Starting point is 00:49:43 Don't be a narc Yeah, I said I'm sure he's not doing it Okay 3-0-0. We're in France This is question number four to Brooke and Johnny Shout out Melanie M from Fitchburg, Massachusetts What is the name of the sports mascot
Starting point is 00:50:01 That Janine has visited the school In the show Abbott Elementary? Oh, come on. You got this. You watch this? I think it's the Phillies mascot, I think. Oh. The Philadelphia, the baseball team?
Starting point is 00:50:14 Oh, the Fanatic? I think so. Yeah. It's in Philly. Like, that would make sense. So is that his name? The Fanatic? All right.
Starting point is 00:50:23 Final answer? The fanatic? So close. It's gritty. Oh, it's gritty. It's gritty. Final answer. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:50:32 It's a flyer, yes. It's gritty from the flyers. Great. Close. Oh, from the flyer. Yeah, Gritty from the flyers. The big orange guy. God damn it.
Starting point is 00:50:42 He came into the office once. Gritty has been in the office. Gritty's a character, and he was very good on. That's unfair. He was good on the episode. You met the guy. I know him personally. All right.
Starting point is 00:50:53 Four questions. Four questions to Reinfran so far. This is question number five to Reinfran. Shout at Cassidy from Memphis. What professional athlete has a Camio in the movie Dodgeball. 15 seconds. Nobody's popping in my mind either.
Starting point is 00:51:32 Five seconds. Time is up. I got nothing. Nothing. Nothing. All right to Brooke and Johnny. Is it? Is it? Yeah. Okay. Lentz Armstrong? Final answer. Correct.
Starting point is 00:51:51 My God. Who'd you think it was? Remember at the bar with Vince? Yeah, no, I remember now. That's a good question because I was thinking not a professional cyclist. Yeah. That was such a good scene. You don't remember that? I haven't seen Dodgeball in a long time. No, no, I've seen Dodgeball a bunch of times, just not in a long time. Yeah. Okay. I don't think I've watched that movie in full in a long time.
Starting point is 00:52:14 Great, great movie. Okay. 4-1, Rian Fran. This is question number six to Brooke and Johnny. Shadaladellini from Raleigh, North Carolina. What are the last three words of the Zatsal Raven theme song? You got through the whole thing. Is it not just that's a Raven? That's a way. I feel like that would be like a low hanging fruit. Like that would be too easy. I know.
Starting point is 00:52:45 15 seconds. I don't know. Other than that so Raven, I don't know. Well, you could just guess that then. I'm just going to say that's so Raven, but I don't know. I'm just. Yep, that's me. Oh, that's different.
Starting point is 00:53:07 I feel like... Yeah, yeah, that's right. Correct. I kept singing in my head and get into the end And then being like shit It's like a Yeah yeah Like it's I like couldn't think
Starting point is 00:53:20 That's me That's me All right 5-1 re-infran Question number seven Two re-enfranchised out of Chelsea from Orlando What is the dialogue In the beginning of the song Video Girl by the Jonas Brothers
Starting point is 00:53:34 I know this 10 seconds Well we're about to find out if you did Oh, I know. How many points are we down? Five seconds. Five? We're a second out of team.
Starting point is 00:54:08 I can't remember. I can hear the voice because I remember the girl. All right. And it's the girl from Camp Rock. Brooke and Johnny. And I forget. I have no idea. I forget what it is.
Starting point is 00:54:17 Do we want to guess anything? Just like. What is the question? The dialogue and beginning of the song video girl by the Jonas Brothers. Um, you want to be in my music video? Call me. Call me. Call me. Call me.
Starting point is 00:54:35 That's our guess. Not a bad guess, but incorrect. It's, oh my God, did you hear I'm dating a Jonas brother? It's so hot. Those are second guest. That's some good dialogue right there. Okay, 5-1 still, re-in-friend. This is question number eight to...
Starting point is 00:54:54 I should know that. To Brooke and Johnny. Shout out, Stacey from South Texas. Which of these is not a call sign, the movie Top Gun Maverick. Here we go. A, rooster, B, cyclone, C, slider, D. Phoenix.
Starting point is 00:55:16 It's either B or C. What could you say, I'm again? A rooster, B, cyclone, C slider, D. Phoenix. Phoenix, I know. Slider, I'm pretty sure. Or is it cyclone. I've never heard a cyclone.
Starting point is 00:55:32 You want to go to cyclone? Yeah, I would. Okay. Let's do Cyclone. Final answer? Incorrect. Oh, that's tough because then it's definitely slider. I'm losing my mind.
Starting point is 00:55:44 I was also, I was with Johnny's between those two. So then there's no slider. Final answer. Correct. Cyclone is John Hamm. Ah. Oh, really? He has a call.
Starting point is 00:55:57 I'm devastated. I didn't even think about that. I would have had the same debate between those two. All right, 6-1, Rian, Fran. You guys could still make a comeback. I've seen it happen before. All right. I watched Top Gun Maverick like four times.
Starting point is 00:56:13 I want to watch it again. I wish if it was playing in theaters, I would go see it again. That was incredible. It's such a good movie. To see it in theaters. We just watched it. And I saw it in the Cape Cod Theater, and it was a theater where you can get beer and stuff. You can do that in plenty of theaters in New York.
Starting point is 00:56:33 I only go to AMC. There's some AMCs that do it. Really? Question number nine to Reenfranchot, Jess and Lexi from Clinton, New Jersey. It's 6'1, Reinfran. It hurts. Which movie won the first ever Oscar for Best Animated Film? A, Shrek, B, Ice Age, C, Finding Nemo, D, the Lion King.
Starting point is 00:56:59 Best Animated Film. Read them again. A, Shrek, B, Ice Age, C, Finding Nemo, D, the Lion King. So just timeline-wise, Lion King would be first of those. I feel like Lion King got like a best picture nomination. Five seconds. Finding Nemo? Pardon me, wants to say Ice Age just for fun.
Starting point is 00:57:30 Time is up. Finding Nemo, finally a final answer. Incorrect. If it's Ice Age. It's Ice Age. I'm leaning towards Trek. I saw this like this picture of this guy He had like a cassette
Starting point is 00:57:40 And it was like for your consideration And he had like a Shrek collection So I'm thinking What is that up to do? I know this I know it's a stretch I'm thinking that that might have been like For your consideration like he had like One of the copies that were
Starting point is 00:57:54 Okay are we doing it Yeah We'll go Shrek Trek financer Yeah Correct Wow Not Ice Age
Starting point is 00:58:04 Yeah 2001 I'm actually really happy There we go. About that. I'm telling you. I also don't know. Was Shrek before Finding Nemo?
Starting point is 00:58:11 When did Finding Nemo come out? I also don't know if that was like an award that started like later. Right. Yeah, I think it started later. There's no way. Finding Nemo came out 2003. Oh, okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:58:23 Okay. Okay. 6-2, Rian Fran. And this is question number 10. I'm going to play a movie clip and you tell me what movie it's from. And this is two, uh, Johnny and, Brooke. Never? No.
Starting point is 00:58:39 Ever? No. You never want to get married. Nope. Never want kids. Not a chance. Ever. Never.
Starting point is 00:58:49 Is that so bizarre? Yes. Yes, it is. I just don't see the value in it. Do you have it? No, maybe. I thought I had it. I thought I had it. Is it like friends with benefits?
Starting point is 00:59:02 Can you play it again? Yeah. Never? No. Ever? No. You never want to get married. Nope.
Starting point is 00:59:11 Never want kids. Not a chance. Ever. Never. Is that so bizarre? Yes. Yes, it is. I just don't see the value.
Starting point is 00:59:22 That's George Clooney. An aunt Kendrick? What are some George Clooney movies? Oh yeah, just, Ocean's 11? You want to just go through the Gallup? Ten seconds. What is it? Like, is he in, like, a rom-com?
Starting point is 00:59:36 What, like, rom-com? Oh, I don't know. That's tough. I don't know either. I'm not a huge George Clooney fan. All right, time is up. What did you say? Ocean's a lot of.
Starting point is 00:59:47 Not oceans a line, but not. Incorrect. Is it the internship? George Clooney. George Clooney? That's definitely George Clooney. George Clooney and Anna Kendrick are in Up in the Air. Oh, up in the air. Up in the Air.
Starting point is 01:00:05 That's what I'm thinking of. Not the internship. Up in the Air. Final answer. Correct. Nice. You guys had the actor. I'm not going to lie when he said Anna Kendrick. I said, oh, I know what it is now.
Starting point is 01:00:17 What's the one with the, who's in the internship? Anne Hathaway. Okay. Wait, what? I was. No, Alan Wilson and Vince Fawn. Oh, yes. In my head, I was thinking of up in the air.
Starting point is 01:00:27 I was just saying the internship. What's the one with Ann Hathaway and Robert De Niro? Where he goes back to work. Oh, oh. The intern? The intern? Is that one called the injured? We should throw this whole question out.
Starting point is 01:00:44 The intern. Yeah, okay, that's what I was thinking. I don't know why I said the internship, but I was thinking up in the air. Up in the air. You ever seen it? Yes. Great movie. I've never seen it.
Starting point is 01:00:54 I honestly have never seen it either. I just know that they're both in it. Okay. 7-2, Ria and Fran, in this question's to them. Shout out, Jordan from Calabasas. What is the name of the company Jordan Belford? it started in the Wolf of Wall Street. This is us?
Starting point is 01:01:13 Yeah. Oh, you know it? I'm pretty sure. I don't know. I don't know. Fifteen seconds. I'm completely blanking. Oh, um, Stratton Oakmont. That's it.
Starting point is 01:01:36 Stratton Oakmont. Stratton Oakmont. Stratton Oakmont. Final answer. Correct. Wow, that came to you. That was incredible. Last minute.
Starting point is 01:01:47 My godfather worked for him. Very early on, like very early days. Before. Before. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Good pull. I, like, envisioned the commercial.
Starting point is 01:02:00 No. No. I thought I did. No. 8-2 Reinfran. They've sealed this victory, but we're going to keep going. It's tough. Shout out Jamie from Omaha.
Starting point is 01:02:14 This is question number 12. In the movie, the no. notebook, how many years are Noah and Ali separated before they reunite? Um. I only know that one scene where it's raining. It's like, he says, what do you want to eat? What do you want to eat?
Starting point is 01:02:34 I want to say like, 14 years? Like 17? 17. So you split the difference. Did it be like? 10 seconds. No, 17 sounds right.
Starting point is 01:02:48 I think we'll go with 17. Or like 11? Time's up. 17. Yeah, 17. I think that's too high. I can remember when he's like, I wrote to you every day for seven years. Seven years?
Starting point is 01:03:04 Seven, does that sound right? Let's go seven. I wrote for you every day for seven years. 10, 11, 10 years. No, it's more than seven. Let's go seven. Seven, okay. We're going seven, final answer.
Starting point is 01:03:18 Correct. Oh, my God. That's why I went through When you go through the quote It's like what sounds Wrote you every day Seven scenes more reasonable than like You know
Starting point is 01:03:30 17 it'd be like they'd be grandparence Yeah it'd be tough Yeah I didn't really see the movie I thought they like came back when they were old There's so many movie questions in this I just a lot of movie questions That's not my specialty Yeah I was I did say I was a movie guy
Starting point is 01:03:49 This loss is on me. Okay, question number 13, and this is to Brooke and Johnny. This is our question. This is to Rian Fran, and it's 9 to Rian Fran. Shout out Stacey from South Texas. Name the four main roommates in the show Sex Lives of College Girls. Their first names. God, I don't even know their fucking names.
Starting point is 01:04:15 Bella. Actually, you know what I had this conversation. the other day with one of my friends and she was naming a character and I was like, who is them? And they were like, Helena, Shalame, that's her in a character's name.
Starting point is 01:04:35 I was like, it is. Sam? Five seconds. Well, what's, Renee Rapp is like an L name. I forget. To Connie and Brooke. Sometimes character names are so hard to remember.
Starting point is 01:04:48 Kim. Yeah. Either Whitney or Winnie. Is it Whitney? Whitney. I think it's Whitney. So Bella, Kim, Whitney, and what the fuck is the blonde girl's name? Oh, I don't know. I'm not the name guy. We just watched it.
Starting point is 01:05:06 I know. It did. 10 seconds. I always forget her name. She's a lot of it. Yeah, that's true. Actress's name. That's part of her thing. Yeah. All right. Time is up.
Starting point is 01:05:24 That's it. I only have three. It's an L? Is it an L? It is an L. You were right. You had the other three. It's Kimberly, Bella, Whitney, Layden. Layden. Leiden. It is really, like, it's so funny how you could watch an entire show and not know the names. And then not remember the characters.
Starting point is 01:05:39 I didn't know any of the names, and I watched it pretty like. When there were two Bacheloretts, I don't think I knew until like the finale, like which one was which. Maybe not the finale, but like halfway through the season. That's just can't be true, but continue. No, it was like halfway through the season. Okay. Still 9-2. And this is question number 14 to Brooke and Johnny.
Starting point is 01:06:01 Shout out, Layla from St. Louis. In Drake's song, 0-200, The Catch-Up. What NBA player does he rap about? 15 seconds. Comes to your head. Yeah, I'm trying. Let me think. Five seconds.
Starting point is 01:06:37 You'd go with Kobe. Kobe? Is that too easy? Time is up. We'll go with Kobe. In Chris. Player? So he says,
Starting point is 01:06:46 I'm on my Raptors Pay my bills. Can you name some Raptors players? I actually think it's Michael Jordan. Okay, that's a good change. But can you name some Raptors players? Kyle Lowry at the time. I can't think of that.
Starting point is 01:07:04 I can't think of anybody else. Like, he's not rapping about Kyle Lowry. Fucking. I'm trying to think of, like, who was on the Raptors at the time when the song came out. Just go Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan. Incorrect. It's Steph Curry.
Starting point is 01:07:16 He says Steph Curry with the first. John. Oh, man. No one on the haps. That was that was part of the song. Yeah. Damn it. Okay. All right. Last question. Last question. 9-2. Rianne. This is to them. It's a Harry Potter question. Oh, great. Oh, great.
Starting point is 01:07:35 Shout out Hannah from Grand Rapids, Michigan. And Harry Potter in the Deathly Hallis Part 1. What is the waterfall located in Green Gads called that washes away all the magical powers? I don't know. These have been particularly hard, like locations of things. Like, I know the geography. Yes, Kelly Kiggs would know. She knows everything that it comes to Harry Potter.
Starting point is 01:08:01 I have no idea. I'm going to text her this. Okay, let's do that after because. Well, I don't know. I have no answer. Okay, to Brooke and Johnny. I have no idea. I'm not a Harry Potter girlie.
Starting point is 01:08:13 Yeah, what was the question again? What is the waterfall located in Gringott's call? that washes away all magical powers and Harry Potter in the Deathly Hell is Part 1. Yeah, I have no idea. The name of the waterfall? The name of the water can close. Of a waterfall?
Starting point is 01:08:29 Yeah. Like, I don't have money on my mind. Yeah, I have no idea. Yeah, we don't know. Okay, it's the thief's downfall. How did you not get that? The thieves downfall. All right, that's it, though.
Starting point is 01:08:46 Final score, 9-2 re-infran. That was embarrassing, but you know what? I had a great time, so I don't have a great time. It was a hot start. It was a hot start. I'm proud of us for that one. God, back. That is bad.
Starting point is 01:09:01 It all came back. Thank you guys so much for playing. Thank you guys. You guys are so much fun. So awesome. If you guys got a chance, can you send Noah your address and sizes and we'll send you some merch? And Johnny, if you're a fan of other things here and you don't want checks in the office
Starting point is 01:09:17 merch, we won't be offended. if you want somebody else. So just let no one know. Put it in a request if you want to send a link or something. We'll do our best. Thank you guys so much. Thank you guys. So nice meeting you.
Starting point is 01:09:30 Bye. Nice to meet you. We have a great interview with the ladies of Real Housewives of New Jersey coming up. But guys, two of the most iconic beer brands are about to make history this year. Cors Light and Miller Light are going back in the big game after 30 years. And for the first time, they're joining forces for commercial. Obviously, we're Team Corzlight here on Chicks in the Office. So we're rooting for them to show up,
Starting point is 01:09:55 but every detail of the ad is completely underwraps until the actual game. So make sure you guys are tuning into the big game. It hasn't been this refreshing in 30 years. Pick up your Coorslight to enjoy during the game. Get Coorslight delivered straight to your door with your Instagram. By going to Coorslight.com slash Chicks and celebrate responsibly from Coorsboro and Company, Golden Colorado. Cheers.
Starting point is 01:10:15 Thank you guys. The world's most refreshing podcast. Yes. All right, everyone, we are here with three very special guests. We have Melissa, Margaret, Dolores, from the Real Housewives of New Jersey. We're getting real cozy in the studio today. We're super excited to have all of you here. I think, you know, we've spoken to all of you individually, but as a group, we haven't.
Starting point is 01:10:40 And I don't think in person, Dolores. Not me. Yes. So very excited. Very excited. Everyone's in Hot Pink. Feel like Fran and I did not get the memo, which is quite. unfortunate. It's so weird. We all just randomly
Starting point is 01:10:52 matched today. There was no discussion. None. No. Delores came in, saw her hot pink braulet, and I was like, I wish I wore mine. Margaret came in and I was like, oh my God, and she's got the hot pink and then Melissa, I'm like, you guys definitely planned. No, we did it. We just, you know,
Starting point is 01:11:08 we're just going to be bright, like you were just saying, like, it's so dark and dreary. We just wanted to, like, brighten things up. You have. This is how it happened. Yeah. I might have to put sunglasses on. You're definitely. bringing in spring which we all need but we're so excited for a new season of the show how are you guys
Starting point is 01:11:27 feeling with the premiere right around the corner it looks like an intense season once again so how are you you guys feeling we're starting the medication I've just been like comfort eating like McDonald's last night Wendy's the night before oh Jesus not that's what I do that's what I go to yeah same I love it you know what I do it's weird I do opposite like it makes me want to work out more. I know that sounds silly. Oh, geez. Of course. Of course it wants to make her work out more.
Starting point is 01:11:54 Because when I get like either any time of like nervous energy or like I feel anxious about something or something, I was like, just let me go to the gym. I swear it's the only place I like. She's going to be, she's going to disappear by the end of the season. It is going to be a strong-in-law. She'll be working out. I'm going to eat her though. Delores can vouch for me for this.
Starting point is 01:12:13 People ask me all the time. They're like, does Melissa Gorgia Eveney? I'm like, listen to me. You've never seen a hangrier person in their life. You don't want to cross her. And she, oh, but she probably doesn't. She eats watches what she's... No, she doesn't.
Starting point is 01:12:26 She'll have a whole thing of a cheeseburger and fries, and she'll eat it before everyone else. She orders everything on the menu. Everything. And doesn't have an ounce of a set of the way. Eyes are bigger than the stomach. Like, this is the type of girl you really get. No, I love to order everything on the menu.
Starting point is 01:12:39 I like, I'm like a little picker. Like, I'm like, you know, I'm a foodie. I may be sick of this dish, but I want a little bit of that dish. Exactly. You know what I just want to try everything. I agree. So everybody knows it. It's really.
Starting point is 01:12:50 But she's busy going to the gym 24-7 because how stressful. Because the season's so torturous, it's okay to eat it. It just, like, comes right out. Whatever. When does the, when you start to feel the pressure, like, is it when the trailer comes out? Or is it closer the premiere date? Like, when does it kind of kick in? Well, right out of the box for this year.
Starting point is 01:13:08 Yeah, definitely, definitely the trailer. Then when you start doing press, you know, it's like right around the corner. So I would say this week. Yeah. This is the week. I have, like, a pain shooting from the underneath my. brain to down my neck. You know, when everyone's talking about it,
Starting point is 01:13:24 you realize you're going to have to relive all the insanity. I feel like with this season specifically, as well, the off season has been quite dramatic. Bravo Khan was filled with drama. We had Joe and Frank in here. That was filled with drama. Like, I just feel like
Starting point is 01:13:40 this season in general is just a little bit more, I mean, every season is fisty, but this one's like real intense. Yeah. It is, for sure. We never got a break this year, which I don't get. Like they just like been rallying on Instagram and Twitter. And like they didn't let the Jersey girls like sit down for our break, which I, which is like kind of crazy because it's almost like you need to take a minute, right?
Starting point is 01:14:03 Refresh. Like miss us for a minute. Yeah. Yes. I feel like we haven't gotten out of the press in the last year, which is like, I don't, it's like annoying. It's a little annoying. Like you want to, you know, you don't want to constantly be. You want to take a breather.
Starting point is 01:14:16 Yeah. You want a breather. But we didn't get one this year. And you know. It's not coming soon. Fair thing, that's true. Is we film every summer. Does everyone know that?
Starting point is 01:14:25 We haven't had a summer off in, what, six years? Yeah, we'd say at least four, at least four to five. Yeah, so there's no summer vacation for us. I mean, listen, we're happy to film and everything else. I love my job. Yeah, we're not complaining about it. I don't complain. How many times?
Starting point is 01:14:39 I'm complaining. But how many times for Melissa, she has to houses at the Jersey Shore? Yeah, I house them at my shore house often. And Dolores at hers? Yeah, yeah. I complained because I actually. love my summers and I want them and I'm like can we just switch this to spring spring like sucks lately in Jersey anyway so like there is no spring the spring exactly right goes winter summer
Starting point is 01:14:59 yeah there's no winter lately yeah so that's what happens yeah we film all summer long you know I feel like because I don't know like Ria just said about like things going on when the cameras aren't on the fans get so crazy about wanting the information so it's like they want the camera it's like everybody's pushing out the cameras back on I feel like they miss us over not yeah yeah Jersey fans take it very seriously. They are hardcore. Hardcore lovers.
Starting point is 01:15:25 Hardcore haters. They're a reflection of us. I always say a lot of times the fans are the reflection of who you are. Even individually. Yeah, my fans are fabulous. I have to say mine are too. So mine aren't like the real loud ones
Starting point is 01:15:41 but they're very loyal. They're loyal. They know what's right. They're not going to bash on the other people. They just tell, I know. my fan. Is that funny? You're so right, Dolores. That's a real thing. Yeah. Notice that over the year. Your fan tends to be kind of like your character.
Starting point is 01:15:58 Right. Well, because they... Well, that's who gravitates to him. You are their favorite because they see themselves in the somebody that's not like you wouldn't like you. Right. It's true. So the loud fans are loud and the, you know, settle fans are settled. And I think that there was a lot of rumors this offseason when, you know, people knew you guys were filming,
Starting point is 01:16:17 but we knew that it would be a while until we got any answers. How often did you guys want to, like, pop online and respond to people, especially Melissa, there were so many rumors, you know? It's like how do you refrain from saying, no, this isn't true? Just wait until, you know, the show premieres. And is it even the truth in the show? Because watching the trailer, it seems like a lot of stuff's getting thrown around. But do we get any, you know, real answers?
Starting point is 01:16:46 Yes. You're going to get every. thing I will tell you is this season's not going to leave you like wondering. It's not because we have seasons where you're like I don't get it. Like where did this happen? You're going to see night and day like all day long exactly what happened. Why we are where we are. I think it's going to make a lot of sense to a lot of the fans. There's so many rumors out there right now, especially about me for some reason. I have never read more nonsense. It's to the point now where we're like giggling at home and Joe's like, oh my God, look what they said I did today.
Starting point is 01:17:17 And I'm like, look at me today. Like, I'm like, what's going on? He's like, at least you take it like that. No, what are you going to do? Cry? They say like the most ridiculous things. I think I'm getting flattered at this point. I'm just like, wow. There's an old saying, talk about me bad, talk about me good, but talk about me.
Starting point is 01:17:35 You know, May West. There's no bad press. Actually, that was May West. That's right. I love that. Well, yeah. So for some reason, they're going hardcore. You know, like we said, the fans are,
Starting point is 01:17:44 like their favorites. So it is what it is and you take it with a grain of salt and you just like keep on moving. I like to keep it positive as much as I can outside. Like I understand that we have to go to work, right? And we're entertainment and we're also real. But like outside of the show, like everyone go home to your family and your friends. Like I keep my circle tight. I have a close circle of friends. And I think that's why I've been able to be on this show for so long. I maintain like the same people. My trust circle is there. My family. My circle of trust. So it's like, I just don't get all of like the noise outside of the show. Like, sit down for a minute. Stop trying to prove your point every second. It's like there's just somewhat,
Starting point is 01:18:26 like there's people out there that obviously have a lot to prove right now because they haven't stopped talking. So it's like, I guess we're going to have to watch and see what's happening. I feel like with all the franchises right now, not even just New Jersey, but, you know, Beverly Hills, we saw this. Do you feel like it's people in your own camp or people on the show that are making these rumors about you guys sometimes? Of course it is. Yes. Who would have that much investment? Yes.
Starting point is 01:18:53 I mean, of course it is. I think people are on a revenge tour. I think people are on a revenge tour. I mean, it comes out even in their taglines. Paybacks that bitch start barking. We won't say whose tagline that is. You also have, we have new housewives this season. Yes.
Starting point is 01:19:12 new ladies who we've not met before, how did they fit in with the group? And do you think that they, sometimes I feel like the new people try a little too hard at the beginning? That's corny when that happens. It's so corny. And you know right along.
Starting point is 01:19:26 You're like, oh God, that was a rehearsed line before they got here. They were rehearsing it in the shower. And sometimes they'll like spit it out in the middle of nothing just to get it out. It's like, oh, you're so corny. But no, these girls are not. I really, I think they were a great fit.
Starting point is 01:19:42 I think the timing was good. Timing is everything always. We're not an easy group. I mean, we embrace everybody, but you really have to fit in. And I think that they do. You're going to like Jen Fessler is hysterical. Yeah, she's very fun. From the trailer, it seemed that way.
Starting point is 01:19:57 She's so funny. We call her Jen Messler. She's funny. She's smart. And she's not embarrassed to be messy, which is nice. Messy-Fessy. She's like, I am what I am. This is who I am.
Starting point is 01:20:10 Guess what? Right out of the box. She'll say it. She's funny. She'll talk about her 30 years of therapy and she'll go over things with you. She's just like cool. People who know they're messy and can embrace that and they don't try to be like, Oh my God, I'm the classiest.
Starting point is 01:20:23 Those are the best kinds of people because when you're too buttoned up and it's like, it's okay to have fun. You know, you don't have to be the classiest. Be classy when it's appropriate. She's that girl. Be messy when it's fun. That's real life. I think that's what it is.
Starting point is 01:20:38 And she's authentic and comfortable in her own skin. And the other two wives are, you know, they're younger, but they're great. They fit in. I think they fit in seamlessly. Obviously, I prefer one over the other. I think it's going to be very obvious right out of the gate who I prefer. But that's okay because they both fit in. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:54 And I think that's natural that you are going to attract a certain person rather than somebody else. When you throw new people in a group of girls, right, the dynamics change. Yeah. It's tried to work out in the past and it hasn't. So it's been a long time for Jersey before, like, some people really fit in as well as this. I got to say. Yes. It's been like five years.
Starting point is 01:21:17 Haven't we had the same cast for five years up until now? Yeah. Which is a long time that we haven't had a cast. It's good. I think we needed some new blood. I'm not going to be right. I enjoy that we brought in the new girls. They have the little babies again, which is cute to see.
Starting point is 01:21:31 Rachel was actually a good friend of mine through my son. Our sons are good friends. So her and I were just like mom school friends. Yeah, yeah. And so it just worked out great. I mean, I think it's going to be good. We have a Satin Island girl, right? She was originally from Staten Island.
Starting point is 01:21:46 Yeah, you know, I guess, which is a bridge away from New Jersey. So I guess that works. What, Jackie is a friend this season. So how was that adjustment and how, like, she was still around as much or just less? No, I just felt as much. She had just as on trips with us and everything. She had just as big as role as, you know, as. she really did. I think, you know, she
Starting point is 01:22:10 worked on her health. It was good for her. She should have been on it. She's whispering about the trips. Freaking Ireland. The trips are good. I think she had a great role, right? I think Jackie still brought her a game. She's in everything else. She's in every scene. I didn't even feel a difference. Okay, good. Because that's another thing where
Starting point is 01:22:26 you know, in the off season, saying it's like a sport. I know. It is a sport, though. It's our sport. It felt like the fans were speculating a lot of how much she was going to be involved in it and, and was, it felt like, oh, her role is lessened because of what she spoke about last season. Right.
Starting point is 01:22:46 With her eating disorder and it was like, well, that feels icky. Like that can't be. So she's obviously still very involved. No, no, she is. Yeah. She's right in there. Bravo love that she shared that story. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:56 She's very, like, brave of her. Yeah. Definitely. They all, there's their reasons. They all have their reasons as to why, you know, sometimes we're friends, sometimes we're not. So, but she's in it. She's in there all season long. with us did everything. I didn't even feel like it was different just because she didn't have
Starting point is 01:23:11 the housewife title. She's the last housewife to make. Yeah. Now, you guys are, we're, you know, we're in February. You started filming this season months and months ago. So when everyone watches the premiere, where are each of you in your life? Yeah. So it kind of like sticks it in. And then, you know, not only do you hear the fight of what was said to my face. Then there's another one, like something that said after that that. That I didn't. didn't know about that I'm just hearing about you know what I know that was I didn't like that wow yeah the premiere I will tell you for me what where did you find out what was that about they said this the episode yeah okay so we've said behind your back in the episode yeah I mean we've
Starting point is 01:23:51 since spoke but I just it was it was that's when things get rehashed it's just you watch back and I never want to be that person you're like mad again from something yeah but in life when I move on from something I don't pick it apart dissect it bring it up whenever there's a disagreement I hate that Not in relationships, not in, it's just not for me. So I had to remind myself of that and not be a hypocrite and say, okay, I'm going to go back into a fight. No, I just let, I'm like, okay, let me just calm down and get through this. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:23 But you're not a grudge holder like some people. No, I don't hold. I used to. But you're bet. I don't think you are. But by the way, you moved on and evolved. I think you remember, but you don't bring it up over and over. You know what I do?
Starting point is 01:24:36 I just like. I'm just never the same. I may look the same, but I'm never the same. Inside, you're never the same. But that's okay. For me, it was definitely because when we started filming this season, we came right out of the reunion from last year. And if you rewatch that reunion, it was a rough one.
Starting point is 01:24:54 So Joe and I were in a place coming off of that, that we were very, like, you know, we were hurt. There was, like, a lot of hurt going on after that reunion. And I think you'll see, like, right out the gate, like, our reaction, because that was the last time we all saw it. each other. Yeah. Margaret, what about you? Yeah, well, you know what? I came off of a bad reunion with Teresa. So I was like, ugh, this is horrible. You know, so for me to go back in filming, you know, I thought I was okay with Jennifer, so I go right back in. I'm not okay with her. I was better with
Starting point is 01:25:24 Teresa. It was a very weird thing for me when we started filming. Of course, now that we stopped filming, it's all different again, you know, so it's a little crazy. And I came right to get, you know, I broke my arm for, you know, right in the beginning of filming. Sorry, that was my roller skating party. And I was cocky. You know, I thought I was roller disco queen. I thought I was back in high school. Wait until you see this.
Starting point is 01:25:45 Like literally. No, she really cracks her wrist. Yeah, I'm like, I'm like, you know, a scar. I mean, ridiculous. First episode, cracks her wrist open. That's insane. Not a great start. Not a good omen.
Starting point is 01:25:55 No, not a good omen. It's a very foreboding. We should have known right then in there. Yeah, right that in there. What this season was going to be like. Yeah. Well, there was a lot of juicy stuff in the trailer. Dolores, you and, you and
Starting point is 01:26:06 Frank have always had an interesting relationship. I feel like people have always been like, wow, these people are able to maintain a friendship. But then we see in the trailer that Frank, is he wanting you back? Is he wanting to... Because the way that they phrased it in the trailer was like as if he wanted to be back together with you,
Starting point is 01:26:24 but we know he has a girlfriend and all that. No, he has Brittany and we all love Brittany, you know? Yes, she's a sweet. He's adorable. Frank had to get used to the change in, like, me being... Everybody has to get used to. They're not used to me being with someone all the time. As you see in the past years, I was always a loner.
Starting point is 01:26:44 And I like that. Don't get me wrong. But this relationship called for something different. So there was a change in the dynamics with my relationship with Frank, where it was so hands-on and talked all the time. And this person wanted to be that person in my life. And it's okay to be because Frank and I don't have to be like that all the time. So that took a little bit of.
Starting point is 01:27:03 Yeah. It was interesting how they phrased it in the trailer, because I was like, wait a second. He's wanting, it was like saying that he wants a relationship, and now I understand what he means by the friendship. Like he's like fixing it. Yeah. But there was nothing to break.
Starting point is 01:27:16 We have a friendship, a little bit of a change. And plus my kids aren't little anymore. So Frank and I have our own lives. We don't have to always constantly be together. Be together. And I just wanted a different outcome with this relationship. Because in the past, the guys are like, oh, well, as Frank or as Frank. But Frank's not like really that guy.
Starting point is 01:27:36 Yeah, that makes sense. You know? Yeah. And every, I feel like all, especially those kinds of guys, Italian men, they want to, they want somebody to take care of them. And you're, I feel like you're such a caretaker. Yes, that's true. And so, like, it doesn't matter what age that man is,
Starting point is 01:27:53 when that starts to change a little bit, they're like, well, why am I not being sick? and care enough. And they don't like things to be the same all the time. Right, yeah. Right. And it was definitely different. Your relationship with Polly's different than your previous. ones. And I think Frank needed to like get used to that.
Starting point is 01:28:09 Yeah. Melissa, in this trailer, we hear Teresa say, you know, like she's always wanted to like break up me and my brother and now she's finally done that. How did that feel to hear that being said? I think it makes absolutely no sense. I mean, I think all of the years have shown that I've done completely the opposite. There were so many times that I've had to literally bring them together. You know, at the end of the day, it's such a sad situation for the whole family, for our kids. It's never something that I take lightly. I still, to this day, can't believe that this is where we're at. There's always hope, but it just feels like, honestly, like it was getting very toxic, and it just got to a point where, like, you know, you need to worry about your own family and
Starting point is 01:28:56 stop worrying about everything else. And it's like taking too much energy and it's not easy ever anymore. Like it got to the point where it's like brutal. And it's like, what are we doing here? Maybe it's time to take a little minute. And I feel like I did what was right for my family. And how can you argue with someone who's telling you like, listen, I had to protect my family at this point and worry about me. I've tried so many years to worry about this like brother and sister relationship. And I've always fought for them always. So it's like weird to hear that. But I get that. It's always, I feel like it's always been the victim, like gaslighting type situation where it's like we're going to put this taste in everybody's mouth and maybe they'll believe it. But yeah, obviously that's not true.
