Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. This is... What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne, giving you that Friday energy on a Thursday. Woo-hoo!
Starting point is 00:00:29 Woo! Love that, Fran. Love that Friday energy. Thank you. We have a huge show today, so we're not going to do a little bit of chit-chat in the beginning. We're not going to riff off. Yeah, we're not going to riff-rath a little bit.
Starting point is 00:00:41 We're just going to dive right into it because we have important stuff to talk about. I do want to say, because we forgot to mention it, I think, on our last podcast, chicks in the office, beanies are now on sale. Yes, they are. They're fantastic. I wear mine like every day, super, super comfortable and they're super cute. Yeah, so go check those out, store. It up, Borsal Sports.com.
Starting point is 00:01:02 The beanies are super cute. And tell us more merch that you want because we're working on ideas. But let's just get right into. the podcast because we have to do it. There's a lot going on. We have topics and of course the Bachelor Recap. So we have Rihanna and Drake reunite. The Jonas Brothers are taking over
Starting point is 00:01:19 TikTok as well as many other funny videos. Just a full Jones brother segment really. Just like an update and what the Joe Bros are up to. Right, because we haven't shown them appreciation a little bit, had to do it. We talk about David Doebrook on Jimmy Fallon, talking about Justin Bieber. We talk about Taylor Swift's new documentary
Starting point is 00:01:36 coming out on Netflix. And we talk about Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston at the Sagg Awards. We have to cover it. Everyone was talking about it. And of course, The Bachelor Recap with Trent. Guys, it's a funny one this week. Like every week, it's great. So let's get into it starting off with Rihanna and Drake.
Starting point is 00:02:25 Rihanna and Drake have officially reunited at Yamsday in New York City. And by officially reunite, we mean by photograph in the same building. Standing next to each other for one minute. Yeah, so there was a video that was on Twitter. We saw they were standing next to each other. Literally the video is one second long. You could just see them standing next to each other. And then you see somebody post pictures with the both of them.
Starting point is 00:02:48 So clearly they were in the same spot. And now, listen, there were a lot of celebrities there. Of course, a lot of rappers, a lot of people in the music industry. But we have not seen Rihanna and Drake together in quite some time. She had a boyfriend of three years that she recently broke up with. And we've always heard of an up and down relationship with Drake and Rihanna. They're really good friends. Drake's into Rihanna.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Rihanna's not into Drake. Then they're both into each other. Then they're not into each other. They're not talking. They're not friends. It's been an up and down roller coaster. All I know is I need them to make more music together, number one, because every song that they've put out together is an absolute banger and some of the best songs ever.
Starting point is 00:03:31 And number two, like, just get married, guys. you guys belong together. Trink and Rihanna, come on. It would be a love story for the ages. I really would love for them to live happily ever after. I really would. And it's hard because I feel like it just came out, at least in the news that Rihanna and her boyfriend, the billionaire, Saudi businessman, Hassan, they had broken up after being together for like three years, a pretty decent amount of time. I feel like most people kind of forgot about him or didn't even know that he existed because they were never really seen together. Like he has he has so much money that they can just go on trips or be together where just nobody knows where they are, you know? Like he that that level of money where they could probably just disappear on a yacht and nobody, nobody would know. So I feel like a lot of people maybe even forgot that she's had a boyfriend this whole time.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Now they are broken up. But as soon as you throw Drake's name back in the mix, everybody freaks out again. Right. And there could be nothing going on between them, but we do know that they're friends. Again, clearly if they're standing right next to each other, they must be okay. The last time that they talked about it, page six says that a source told them that they, Rihanna and Drake are not dating. but they did cite like Rihanna told Vogue in May of 2018,
Starting point is 00:04:59 which was a long time ago, long, that they don't, right, that they don't, she had said we don't have a friendship now, but we're not enemies either. It is what it is. So that was a long time ago. Maybe they have starting to get closer to the friendship side of that than the enemy's side of that, hopefully. And yeah, I mean, they were, they were, they were, they were,
Starting point is 00:05:24 I love drinking. on it together. There's a 100% chance that we are looking into this too much because they were at a huge event that a lot of people are at and, you know, sometimes you just end up standing next to somebody by chance. Right. Right. This is the thing. Now we set a bad precedent because we're like, if you're standing next to each other, you might be dating. I know. That's not, that is not the energy we are trying to put out there. It's always wrong, but we just want to be. But we just. We just. want them to start dating each other. Maybe eventually. Or just start making music again. I just want maybe Drake on Rihanna's album. Yeah, just give us new music. I would take the new music over them dating. Well, do you think we'll get a new Rihanna album this year? No. You think no? She keeps saying it's going to come eventually. I'm just going to tell myself now Because I don't want to get myself excited
Starting point is 00:06:29 Maybe some new songs That way you could be excited if she actually does Yeah I'm just going to tell myself no That's fair They you know what And this thought came into my head Which is a little bit of a Drake singer
Starting point is 00:06:44 Oh I think she might be a little too old Oh Fran I read those comments I read the trolls saying that about Drake I didn't see those. I didn't read any comments. That just popped into my own head. I guess I'm just a troll. Yeah, that was the first reply to the tweet of the person.
Starting point is 00:07:02 On the Pop Crave tweet? Oh, I definitely didn't see that. Yeah, one of them. No, that is a funny joke. But is Rihanna. I think that Rihanna transcends. She'll always be good for Drake. And I think he will always be, how could you not always be in love with Rihanna?
Starting point is 00:07:19 You know? I feel like Drake will always be in love with Rihanna. Like 100% has always been in love of Rihanna. He's like said such weird shit about her that it's like you clearly are still in love with this woman. Yeah, of course. You don't just forget about Rihanna.
Starting point is 00:07:34 You definitely, definitely do not. You don't. So we'll see. Maybe they'll start being in the same place again. But she's also just coming out off of what seemed to be a fairly serious relationship. So she's probably not looking to jump right back into something,
Starting point is 00:07:51 especially with Drake because that would be, that would, they would just be swarmed. Like the, the media would just be all over that. Like they're, they couldn't even have a chance to, just try.
Starting point is 00:08:03 They're probably just looking to have some fun. She was just at an event where we're looking, we're getting too excited. I know. I know. I watched a video for so many times because I was like, is that even Drake? It was such a short clip.
Starting point is 00:08:15 But the pictures that came out are, like it's a man in a white hat and the beard and you're like, ah, is that Drake? But then you see the. pictures of it's clearly being Drake. Yeah. I think the longer beard is what was throwing me off. It's a different look for him.
Starting point is 00:08:29 Confirmed. It was Drake. It was definitely was Drake. Yeah, 100%. 100%. I watched it many times being like, who the heck is that guy? Very clearly, Rihanna. That's it.
Starting point is 00:08:39 Yeah. All right. We'll just see what happens between the two of them. I'm a sucker for you. I'm a sucker for you. Yeah. Okay. We have a full breakdown of, you know,
Starting point is 00:09:17 last few interviews that George Brothers have been doing because it's impossible, truly impossible not to talk about. But before we do that, guys, who doesn't love long and thick eyelashes? They're on everyone's list and most will try just about anything to get them. From eyelash extensions to mascaras that promise extreme lengthening to at-home remedies like castor oil. But did you know there's an FDA approved eyelash growth serum and you can get a prescription online from Rory? Clinical trials show eyelashes grew by 25% in length, 106% in fullness, and 18% in darkness by 16 weeks. Getting a prescription from Rory is a seamless and easy experience.
Starting point is 00:10:03 There is no trip to the dermatologist, so you can go from waiting for your friends at happy hour to bachelor at commercial breaks. You can do your online doctor visit from anywhere. This is how it works. Rory account, answer standard questions about your eye health and medical history, and after you submit that information, a Rory-affiliated doctor will decide if you're eligible for prescription. Once again, that's helloroory.com slash chicks and you'll get your first month for only $99. Every time that the George brothers do, like they have a new single, they have a new song, they're talking about the Grammys, they're doing press again, I just want to like play every single one of their interviews and talk about them because every single one is just so good, all of them. So number one, there's many subcategories to the Jones brothers for today.
Starting point is 00:11:20 One, their TikTok presence has been phenomenal. They are taking over TikTok. They really are. I'm noticing that a lot more celebrities are getting into TikTok now. Like everyone's getting involved. Can't be stopped. But the Jonas brothers are doing it the right way. They really are doing a phenomenal A plus job. They're imitating themselves. Yeah. They're doing camp rock skits. It's just A plus material. It's smart because I think a lot of celebrities are kind of doing stuff on TikTok that they
Starting point is 00:11:51 already do on their Instagram, you know? So it's like, ah, I've seen this. But the George Brothers have made cool content for their TikTok, which they do post on, you know, Instagram and Twitter and everything. But it is originated from TikTok. So they, I mean, it's just I, I. did not have my own TikTok, but I did make one so that I could follow them
Starting point is 00:12:17 because I felt bad that I didn't follow them. So I now I have my own TikTok just so I can follow the Jones Brothers. And I follow chicks in the office and Stole Team 6 and everybody in the office because it's like everybody in office plus the Jones Brothers. You are a dedicated fan.
Starting point is 00:12:37 Yeah, I mean, as much as you can be. You went out of your way to download TikTok. I would feel bad. Like, I would feel bad if I was. I also appreciate her follow. I have had TikTok for a while. Right. And I just didn't have an account because you can still go on and just like search people
Starting point is 00:12:52 and watch videos. So I had the app, but like I wasn't logged into anything. But then I was like, oh, I'll just make an account that I won't do anything on. But it's just so that I can follow everybody. I want to follow. So now I'm following everybody. It makes it way easier. And you have to be following the Jonas Brothers and Mason Dissick.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Yeah, I followed him. Let's throw Mason Dissig. I followed Mason Dissick. I followed Mason Dissick and I followed Mason Dissick's is just fantastic. And I think I also followed, let's see, Dave Dobrick. And then I followed. Oh, and I followed Hannah and Dylan and Tyler and all the Jones Brothers. And, oh no.
Starting point is 00:13:35 See, I think I also followed. I started doing this before, like Kevin didn't have. have his own account and I think he does now. Yeah, he does now. So I'm going to have to, going to have to give him that follow. Yep. Because when I first looked, Kevin didn't have one. Okay. So now, now following 16 people. Really impressive TikTok account. There's so many things I want to talk about right now. But let's focus on the Jonas Bellars. I want to talk about Mason Dissex TikToks. So we could talk about that very quickly. We talked about on the last podcast that we put out that Mason Disick, we wonder if he has TikTok. He absolutely does
Starting point is 00:14:08 Does he does. Bam, here he is. Figure that out from David Dobrick. I love David Dobrick and I watch all of his YouTube videos and I'm trying to get Fran to start watching his videos so that you can get on the train. I'm becoming a fan of him because I'm watching other stuff that he's in, you know, but I'm like I'm not yet watching his videos. Like I followed him on TikTok and I see his TikToks and I see like his Instagram. Right.
Starting point is 00:14:30 And I see like he was on Jimmy Fallon. I watched that. But I haven't really like started watching. I do watch when he has celebrities and surprises people in the car. I watched those. I watched one with Justin Bieber. So I'm making my way. It's happening.
Starting point is 00:14:43 It's just happening slowly. I have a sickness. I seriously watched like a hundred of his vlogs on Sunday. I'm not kidding. Like at least a hundred of them. Wow. Maybe not a hundred. That's an exaggeration.
Starting point is 00:14:57 But a shit ton for hours I was watching. He was on Jimmy Fallon and said that Jimmy Fallon was like he had like, whatever, 15 million subscribers or whatever it is. and then has like over six billion views. Yeah. Six billion. Because all of his videos get like eight plus million views. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:17 Every single one. It's honestly unbelievable. Back to the Jonas Brothers. Very impressive. They went day drinking. Yeah. They, once again, they are, they're great with like what press I feel like they do. You know, like everything is timely and makes sense.
Starting point is 00:15:36 So they went day drinking with something. Meyers, which is a segment that he does, if you haven't watched the Seth Myers daydragging with Rihanna, it's one of the funniest videos. I highly recommend. Very, very good. But now he's daydreaming with the John's brothers and he got his brother involved and Jack McBryer, even though he is not a, he is not in the Meyer family, but close enough. So they just added him in to be the third brother. Fran. I didn't want to say it before at desks. But when you said Jack McBriar, I was like, so I was like, he's not related to them. And then you said McBryor and I honestly looked up, is Seth Meyer short for McBryor? Because then I was confused. I was like, is Jack related to Seth Meyer? I was very thrown off. I figured it out eventually. I'm letting you know now that I did go through that moment. And I want to own that's fair. I mean, they just kind of tossed them in so it would be even numbers, I feel like, you know.
Starting point is 00:16:44 And they just, just another hilarious video. I've watched it multiple times. And then I watched it basically over your shoulder while you watched it. Yeah. With no sound. It was kind of creepy. I just knew everything they were saying because I'd watched it so many times. And she would laugh when I laughed, but she couldn't hear it.
Starting point is 00:17:02 It was kind of weird. It was just because I already knew what they were saying. There was like a moment. I was waiting for certain jokes to see how. you would react and then I would laugh. Yeah, she was just watching me to make sure I was laughing. Make sure you would laugh at all the same parts I laughed.
Starting point is 00:17:16 No, and I did. I did. Yeah, you did. You know, I was laughing. Very hard, actually. I couldn't stop laughing. Let's go to the part in the video where they both have to write a pop song. So they both get... It's like the last, I would say, two minutes, Noah. Like, they both, they do a five minute pop song. Go to 10 minutes and 20. At this point, they are drunk. Like, I would assume.
Starting point is 00:17:42 They're... Seth Myers makes these weird drink concoctions, and then they were taking shots, obviously, a villa one. Obviously. So this is where they had to write their own pop songs. Yes, and this is the Myers and Jacqueline Friar. Title, Drunk at Nile. I'm drinking Coors Light.
Starting point is 00:18:06 Shout out, Coors Light. Still no darkness, but I'm ready to drink. And I don't care what my parents think. The sun's up high. It's added zenith. And everything's good with my penis. I'm drunk at noon. I'll see you soon.
Starting point is 00:18:37 I've got nothing to do. do this afternoon because I'm drunk and noon. And then the Jonas Brothers, they picked these out of a hat. It was like, you know, you picked a title out of a hat and then you had to write the song for that title. So they got drunk in noon. The Jones Brothers got In Bed by Nine. And it was also very funny. We can play their version of that one.
Starting point is 00:19:09 In bed by nine. One, two. Baby, I'm feeling fine. Baby, let me in. I want to feel your skin. Do you want 69? And I want this all my life. Let me lick your toes.
Starting point is 00:19:31 I want to blow your nose. Baby, I'll have you back by now. 69 69 I have Seth was dying like this Seth's laugh in the back
Starting point is 00:19:48 I feel like they didn't expect the Jonas brothers to get dirty with it the way they were getting dirty with it because they did Zenith and my penis And then all of a sudden Nick and Joe starts singing about
Starting point is 00:20:02 69ing and it took them off guard It took me off guard made me excited and I felt a little wrong listening to it because our Jonas brothers are fully grown up. I mean, I know they're married, and I know that I grew up a while ago.
Starting point is 00:20:15 They're older than me. But listening to them talk about 69ing. Let me tell you, something about it still feels very weird. But it just also makes me really laugh. It's like, it wouldn't be as funny coming from somebody else because you're like, aha, 69 joke. But from that, for some reason, it just makes it even funnier because it's the Jonas brothers.
Starting point is 00:20:39 makes me like them even more. Yeah, it definitely does. It seemed like they had a great time. They were making fun of Kevin because Kevin doesn't drink as much. And it feels like they did do a decent amount of drinking. I feel like Seth loves this segment. Like, Seth gets bombed. I feel like when they do this. I mean, I would also love this segment. You just, because the celebrity knows what they're signing up for because when it's presented to them, it's your they drinking you are getting drunk. So he knows he's allowed to get shit faced. They know they're allowed to get shit faced
Starting point is 00:21:15 and it just works out. I just want to be at that point in our like interviewing career right? Where it's I mean Seth Meyer is his on late night so that he so that he can just have his guests come in for segments where they just get wasted together. Yeah. Like that's the goal.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Like there's so many celebrities that you would just love to get wasted with. And if you have like the show attached to it or, you know, the reputation to do it, you can just be like, hey guys, we're going to film this. We're all going to get wasted. And they're like, okay, great. That sounds like a great idea. Let's do day drinking with re and friends. Yeah, we got, we got to get bigger. I mean, the thing is, I just want to make celebrities drink with us and then they have no trace.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Kevin looked pretty nervous, like halfway through they were drinking. Uh, yeah, they were drinking a lot. The thing is, we have gotten drunk with the Jonas brothers. Yeah, but not like. Off camp. Yes, 100%. But we want it, it's miced up. Us talking about it, it still was not as good as the actual moment. Exactly. Imagine there was a camera on friend when she said, I don't want to blow smoke up your ass, Nick Jonas.
Starting point is 00:22:24 Would have been a great video. It would have been hilarious. We just got to talk about it. Yeah, exactly. So you know what? I'm just saying to reach that, get smarter. Reach that moment where guests are going to be like, yeah, let's do that segment where they get drunk with celebrities. We need to start becoming the drunk.
Starting point is 00:22:39 podcast because the thing is we need to start not not all the time we need to start doing it more often so that people know that's our thing you know like that's fair because that one that we did people appreciated so much if we started doing that on a more consistent basis no one looks interested we started doing that at a more consistent basis we may become the people get drunk because a lot of people drink on their podcast drink they drink but So you just want to get the reputation of like being an alcohol? No. Because I wouldn't.
Starting point is 00:23:15 It wouldn't be every episode. I wouldn't be, it wouldn't be every episode. And I wouldn't be drinking. Just because people who get drunk often doesn't make them alcoholics. Right. Yeah. No.
Starting point is 00:23:24 Take that back. Because just because we want to get drunk once in a while. In social settings with friends in their early 20s. Boom. Take back your statement. Take back your statement. I'm not going to take it back. Because I didn't.
Starting point is 00:23:37 Because if you were saying, we want to get. drunk on every single person. I never, did I ever say every single podcast? She said we got to start doing it more often. I said we had to start doing it more often. We've only done it once in two years. So more often, maybe at once every six months. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, exactly. Once every six months. Once every three months. More often than we do it. The thing is, is I feel like we have to do it where we are at some kind of event or we're just going out and we get drunk and then we come record, you know, because it takes a while.
Starting point is 00:24:11 Like, if we just start recording while we're drinking, it's not, it's not the same. It's not the same. So we need to, right, we need to go out. Yeah. And then come back and record. We do a lot of hungover podcasts, and I feel like that's just not as good, not even close. It's not as fun.
Starting point is 00:24:31 It's definitely not as fun. I feel like people get the hungover vibe. You want the drunk vibe. Right. Okay, the third thing about, oh, this might not even be the third. There could be one more. The Jones brothers also went on Ellen very briefly. The third thing about the Jonas Brothers.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Yes, the third thing about the Jones Brothers. Okay, so why did you retract your statement? Because I also wanted to mention their interview on Z100. Okay, so there are four things. They went on Ellen, and I just kind of say that they talked about the Kardashian TikTok. They said it was Joe's idea. Love that. Of course it was.
Starting point is 00:25:05 And then Nick was like, how come you got to be Kim? so making jokes and Nick said that they have they're really excited for the Grammy performance they're singing what a man got to do they have surprises they have you know surprises in store and it seemed like they're coming out maybe for something else like they're doing what a man got to do
Starting point is 00:25:26 but then maybe they're doing something else I can I thought that and then I was like get that idea out of your head friend that would just be it's that's too good to I have chills running throughout my entire body. It's just too good to be true to have them sing a song together. To a good to be true. At the Grammys, imagine they would never perform Camp Rock at the Grammys.
Starting point is 00:25:50 In my dreams, they would do that. Oh, my God. I have chills thinking about Joe and Demi. They could play out. Oh, my God. I can't even. Oh. The voice I hear and sob my head.
Starting point is 00:26:04 The reason that I'm singing. Yeah. That would be. I mean, they could play their smash it on the line. Jonas Brothers Demi. Great song. That's not Camp Rock affiliated. Who else could they be coming out for?
Starting point is 00:26:16 I don't know. Nick gets so excited about people. It's probably like some old person. No offense to whatever old person. No offense to whatever old person it potentially could be. But like, that would be my guess. Because you know how they always do that with the Grammys? They pair random people together.
Starting point is 00:26:34 Not random, but like ones you wouldn't expect. You get like a country act with like a mega like a with a rapper or like a pop star with like a rock band. You know something something people wouldn't expect that ends up being really awesome. So that's possible. Oh. YG is performing. You know what, Noah? You might be right and I'm going to be mad if you're right about that.
Starting point is 00:27:01 I feel like they established. Who? Yeah. Post Malone. Post Malone and the Jonas brothers? Exactly. They've mentioned each other in their songs before. They've gone back and forth on song shoutouts multiple times.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Oh, so they have this little thing. Yeah, they have like this little thing where they like make jokes about each other. Yeah, maybe. Of both of their jokes at each other? He's making Jones Brothers jokes. They're talking about during a post-malone and their songs. It's very, very possible damage. Like I just said, if Noah was right about that, I'm going to be so mad.
Starting point is 00:27:32 But I actually really like that prediction. That's a good one. That's a good one. It is a good one. Good job, Noah. Okay. The last thing I wanted to say, oh, if you're... Z-100.
Starting point is 00:27:43 Yeah, if you're a fan, guys. If you're in the tri-state area. No, just New York, right? No, no. Tri-State? Yeah. You get it in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey. Yeah, I listen to Z-100 every day.
Starting point is 00:27:57 So, if you are familiar with Elf Strand. In the morning show? In the morning show. They're great. And they showed up for Elvis Wren. You can watch a video on YouTube the whole thing. I recommend watching on YouTube because you can see them, which makes it way more fun. They played a know-your-brough game where Joe had to go into like a soundproof booth.
Starting point is 00:28:21 And Elvis asked Nick and Kevin questions about him and they answered. And then Joe came back in and Joe answered. They got to see who was right about things. It's very entertaining. I'm not really, I don't want to go into too much detail because it's a long video. and I'm just saying if you haven't watched it, go watch it. Because it is very entertaining. Thank you for your awareness.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Yeah, I just want to put that out there so people know that this. I don't know enough people know that this exists. And it was very, very funny. Joe talked about how he had a recurring dream as a child that Avrilavine came and killed his entire family. That's fucked up. Elvis was like, what is Joe most afraid of? And Kevin was like, no hesitation, Avrilavine.
Starting point is 00:29:02 And they were like, what? Why? And Kevin explained it. And then he said that he put a poster of Aver Levine on the wall because they had bunk beds to scare him. Was he right? Joe came back into the room and they were like, all right, Joe. Like, what would you say you're most afraid of? He goes, Avrilavine. And Nick was like, you guys planned that.
Starting point is 00:29:20 Like, there's no way you had that where you were just ready to drop this Avrilavine story. Totally had this plan. Very, very funny. That's unreal. They talked about his... Joe's first kiss. They were like, who was Joe's first kiss? Nick said AJ and Kevin said Becca. Who the fuck is Becca? AJ. And then I was like, it's got to be AJ. Ali and AJ AJ. Oh my God. It joke confirmed it is he said AJ. AJ. Oh, so it's got to be AJ. It's got to be AJ. Yeah. He said he joked that he was a little bit of a late bloomer. So I feel like maybe. Yeah, because there's. Oh, and there's pictures of them all hanging out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:59 Yeah. Isn't that cute? Mm-hmm. But he's photographed with Yeah. Interesting. They also asked about when he lost his virginity and I felt like maybe they were going down a path with the questions that the Jones brothers people were like, all right, let's change this because Elvis was like, oh shoot, I got the wrong questions in front of me and they had to like send him a different list of questions.
Starting point is 00:30:25 After the first one was like, who was Joe's first kiss? When did he lose his virginity? And like his people must have been like, Whoa, this isn't the list of questions we approve. Yeah, what's going on here? They changed it up, but it was still very, very funny. Go watch it. Was Elvis Duran the one with the roses, the War of the Roses? What?
Starting point is 00:30:48 You know what I'm talking about? The War of the Roses on the radio? I used to listen to it and I don't know what you're talking about. All I know, I just remember. What radio shows that on? Elvis. Elvis would do the phone tab. and they had scary tea
Starting point is 00:31:04 and you know all the and the Greg T's I see Z104 for War of the Roses War of the Roses Greg T's topic train which is what the Jones brothers did I'm looking it up I heart
Starting point is 00:31:18 No it used to be This is going to kill me now All right Ria yeah yeah yeah Elvis Duran in the Morning Show There was an episode of Elvis Duran in the Morning shows War the Roses Yes okay it was Elvis Duran in the morning show
Starting point is 00:31:32 Do you know what this is? I used to fucking hate this show because somebody who used to drive us to school every day. Yeah. Instead of playing the radio, like on our way to school, which all the kids wanted. They would play this War of the Roses show every morning. And it just killed everyone in the car was in agreement
Starting point is 00:31:52 that it killed the vibe. Nobody wanted to tell the mom that we wanted to listen to the radio. Damn. Just want to throw that out there. David Dobrick went on Jimmy Fowler. It was his first time on a late night show. He was so excited. It was so cute.
Starting point is 00:32:43 It was so cute because all of his friends were so excited. They kept posting about him. He was really excited. I think he did a great job. But the funniest, he came with a good story. Part of it was that, right. He came with a great story. You got to have a good story.
Starting point is 00:32:57 If you're a first late night, you got to have a good story. You have to. And he comes with this unbelievable story about Justin Bieber, which we'll play the clip. I saw him, I saw him at the club, and one of his friends was like, you're going to meet Justin, and I just remember, just like, everyone knows Justin Bieber, right? Like, everyone grew up, at least I grew up, listening to his music.
Starting point is 00:33:17 I know all about him. I was so nervous. Me too. And, yeah. And he's walking, he's walking over to me. And I say, hi, I'm David. And he's like, hi, I'm Justin. I was like, I know.
Starting point is 00:33:27 I was so excited. And then you're at the club, so you're kind of just standing next to each other for a little bit. And then he walks by me. He walks by me. Like, he's going to get a drink. Do you want me to be you? Yeah, you be me.
Starting point is 00:33:38 You be me. Yeah, it's like this. We're at the club. And he walks by him, he walks by him and he goes, Tickle, Tickle. No, no. I swear I got. I swear I got.
Starting point is 00:33:52 And he said it out a lot. He goes, Tickle, tickle. And I go, okay. I go, we're here. He did that? It felt so good after he tickled me. Oh, my God. So, also, you know what I just realized listening to that?
Starting point is 00:34:03 I've been trying to place who I thought David Dobrick sounds like, and I've decided. Justin Long. I feel like he and Justin Long have very similar voices. I don't know what Justin Long sounds like. Like, imagine his voice in Dodge Ball. What? You know who Justin Long is.
Starting point is 00:34:22 Do a quick Google search. Oh, oh, accepted. Yes, yes. They sound very similar. He's just not that into you. Yeah, they have very similar voices. Exactly. Are you reading his IMDP?
Starting point is 00:34:33 No, no, no, no. I just looked at his face. Oh, yes. I just looked at his face. Accepted. Yeah. Yes. He's just not that.
Starting point is 00:34:41 It was just all coming back to me. Oh, I've seen him before. Yes, definitely have. They have very similar. I think they sound very similar. But this is a very, this is a very funny story and truly proves that
Starting point is 00:34:53 Justin Bieber is just a wild card. This, I could see Justin Bieber doing this, like just coming up to somebody and doing tickle tickle. If this was anybody else, I would say, call the authorities. No, literally call 911. We have a huge problem.
Starting point is 00:35:06 There is an adult singer going around tickling men in nightclubs in Los Angeles. in Los Angeles, but it's just Justin Bieber doing some tickle-tickle to David Doebrick. Justin Bieber has always, I feel like, qualified himself as a class clown type character. Prankster. Yeah, and he really fulfills that role, I think. Right. And I'm sure if I'm picturing it correctly, like he probably was moving past David Doebrook.
Starting point is 00:35:31 And to make it, I guess, less awkward and even more awkward at the same time, moving past me, he was like, tickle-tickle, which is funny. I think it's big thing. I thought it was funny also. I'm thinking of Justin Bieber tickling David Doberg because I'm sure David Dober was like, yes, Justin Bieber just tickled tickled me. That's an unreal story to have in your pocket. I agree.
Starting point is 00:35:52 And Justin Bieber like retweeted it and wrote tickle, tickle, LOL. Like he clearly was in on the joke, thought it was funny. And like I said, great, great story to share for your first late night. And Justin Bieber just, it's just very fun. I feel like that's just something that would be very funny to witness as he goes by and just being like tickle, tickle. Wish I was there. Oh, man. I think he's filming another carpal karaoke, Justin Bieber.
Starting point is 00:36:21 He tweeted like big day at James Corden, so I feel like they're doing something. That's great. Justin, where is the album? Because we're sick of yummy. We want something new. We would love something new. I'm sure it's coming eventually. The documentary is like in a few days.
Starting point is 00:36:40 I can't wait. I cannot wait for this documentary. I know, me too. I'm very excited. Taylor Swift released a trailer for her documentary. Everyone's coming out with documentaries. I know. And it's coming out four days or whatever it is after Beaver, the first episode for Beaver, January 31st, Miss Americana.
Starting point is 00:37:23 It's going to be on Netflix. I'm really excited. The trailer looks really good. I'm really excited as well. I love any documentary about. Just icons, legends. Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, two absolute legends. Give me all the documentaries about them so I can learn.
Starting point is 00:37:44 Because these are the people you want to know about because they are so... Megastars. They're megastars. And it's not like people who you praise on like Instagram because they're just like really good looking people. It's they are some of the most talented people on this earth. Yeah. You know what I mean? So just learning about their life and what goes into it.
Starting point is 00:38:05 is unbelievable. And I know that when it ends, I'm just going to have like more of an appreciation and probably a love for Taylor Swift. Like anytime a documentary comes out on somebody that is, you know, alive and is made by that person, you know, the point is to make them, not to make, not necessarily to make them look good, but just to like show all sides, show them in a positive light, show, you know, the struggles that they've gone through, how they've overcome it. So that when you finish it, you're like, damn, I really love Taylor Swift. Right. It happens to me every time I watch a documentary where it's made by like, and normally it is
Starting point is 00:38:47 people that I've already liked, right? Like, I feel like it's happened big time with this cheer documentary series, docu-series on Netflix. And nobody really knew too much about it. But afterwards, they watched it and they were like, oh, my God, this, like, I would die for these people. So it's like, you get this love for this. them and I'm I just it's going to happen with Taylor Swift I know I'm really excited for this as well
Starting point is 00:39:12 everything you said I agree with yeah do we know it's just one long documentary yeah it's just a movie because it um is going to be playing in select theaters so I think you could just go see it like if you wanted to see it on the big screen somewhere I bet it's playing in New York somewhere I would I would guess but probably just you could just watch on your watch on your watch on That's what Netflix is for. Right. So, oh, speaking of, I watched, like, the first hour and a half, two hours of the Irishman last night. Really?
Starting point is 00:39:46 Not the circle? I thought you're about to say the circle. I was really upset there. No. Joe and I were kind of in a battle on what we wanted to watch. He wanted to watch Parasite, which I want to watch. But I just wasn't in the mindset. It's not available to rent yet.
Starting point is 00:40:01 We were going to buy it. I didn't want to buy it. And I wasn't really trying to like, subtitles. You really got to watch that movie. Like there's no, you got to be full attention. And we just couldn't agree on what to watch. He's been saying that he's wanting to watch Irishman. And I was like, I'll watch eventually.
Starting point is 00:40:17 Like, I just don't know when. And we had to take like multiple breaks and we're still not even close to being done. So, will we finish it? I don't know. It's fine. Like, it's good. Like, it's fine. Like, it's nothing crazy.
Starting point is 00:40:33 It's a Scorsese movie, but like it just looks, it, um, it fits the mold of like, you know, a mobster movie. It moves very slow. Like, it's just far too long. And I understand, but it really is just too long. And the, um, the aging thing is kind of weird. Like they all, they play themselves at all the different ages. And young Robert De Niro was just kind of freaky.
Starting point is 00:41:03 Like his eyes are this like white Walker blue color and it's it's a little too intense. And I'm just I'm like, what age is this guy supposed to be? Because he still looks old. And then like the other people in the movie are calling him kid. They're like, hey, let me introduce you to this kid, Frank. I'm like, what? He's got to be 50. Right.
Starting point is 00:41:23 Like how old is he supposed to be here? It's just a little weird. Yeah. Like I think he was supposed to be way younger, but he still looked like quite old. Damn, I'm never going to watch it, I don't think. Probably ever. I have no desire to. It's something that I can just, like, will say I did, you know, but not that I can't even
Starting point is 00:41:42 say that yet because I haven't finished it. Right. So maybe I will finish it. He wanted to finish it tonight, so we'll see. We'll see about that. So the big talk of the week, all over social media, everywhere you can look, everyone was talking about Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anderson, reuniting at the 7th,000. Awards this weekend.
Starting point is 00:42:25 They both won. Brad Pitt won for supporting actor in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Jennifer Aniston won for her role on the morning show. Noah's absolutely appalled. And they both... Good for her. Yeah, good for her. She, voted by her fellow actors.
Starting point is 00:42:43 It was honestly, I loved the show. Fran, you haven't watched it. I really liked the morning show. Can't wait for season two. So they both had their moments. Jen watched Brad win his award. She smiled. She clapped. And then Brad wasn't back at his seat yet. So when Jen was receiving her award, Brad stopped to watch her on a TV screen. A lot of people recorded him. He sat there with a smile. So as soon as people saw that, people were freaking out. And then we got the actual pictures of them together on the red carpet. The picture walking past the red carpet, not on the red carpet. You know what I mean. Yes. Pictures backstage. He allegedly, This was a rumor when she won was backstage and yelled,
Starting point is 00:43:26 Aniston! Which is just an unbelievable move. You're so fucking cool, Brad. Before we really dive into the picture, I just want to say that Brad Pitt had one of the best acceptance speeches he's ever given. There's no shot that he did not prepare that at home. Oh, 100% did. He had the Tarantino Feet joke, the Tinder joke.
Starting point is 00:43:52 And then he finished it off by saying, you know, it was super hard for him to play a part where he does drugs and takes his shirt off and doesn't get it along with his wife. Q Jennifer Aniston, a shot of Jennifer Aniston laughing. It was a very, very funny speech. I feel like you think Tarantino's happy or like, oh, like, could you maybe not do the foot fetish joke? I think Tarantino has no choice. He's like, Brad's fucking cool. I have no choice but to take this.
Starting point is 00:44:22 joke. Everyone's laughing at it. Everybody knows I love feet. We're just aware at this point that Quentin Tarantino loves feet. I think it's strange. I think it's weird. I don't think people talk about it enough. Like now I feel bad making the joke like it's like we're just accepting it. Yeah, like wow, we're just accepting
Starting point is 00:44:39 the fact that Quentin Tarantino is just putting women's feet in movies because he likes it. And we're just like okay, okay, okay, all right. I mean, what else are supposed to say about it? It's just feet. Yeah, like realistically. He likes what he likes and it's He's not making them get naked in every movie. It's a little different.
Starting point is 00:44:56 Just their toes, I guess. I don't know. It's weird. But anyways, Brad, he, it was a very funny speech like you said. And then we get to the pictures because the pictures are released. Everybody loses their shit. Everyone loses their shit, including myself. And if you're lying, if you say you didn't lose your shit for just a little bit.
Starting point is 00:45:14 No, I understand the, obviously she's better than him. He cheated on her aspect of this. Yeah. But we haven't seen a picture of them. two together like this in I don't know I wasn't even I don't remember seeing them together I think I was too young to know them
Starting point is 00:45:29 as a couple they split up in 2005 so I was nine eight eight yeah yeah you're way too young I don't I wasn't like really zoning in on Brad and Jen's relationship at that time not not as an eight year old I mean I wasn't
Starting point is 00:45:45 really as an 11 year old either I didn't really know so I just knew like when you just heard the story Yeah, yeah, you just hear the stories, right? Like when he, he would see him in Angelina, and that's when I would start, I started paying attention more to pop culture
Starting point is 00:46:02 and celebrity couples. And then I would just be, oh, he used to be married to Jennifer Aniston, right? Like, it wasn't, it didn't really. Didn't click for me yet. Exactly. Until you dive into the, into their whole history. But, you know, there's a very beautiful picture of them seemed to like be kind of hugging, you know.
Starting point is 00:46:19 And then there was one. she's turned around, looked like she's walking away. It almost looked like she's leaving him in the dark. Like she's just, she's gone,
Starting point is 00:46:31 her back's turn, her hand is on his chest. And he is holding her hand to his chest. And he like is looking at her as she's walking away. And, oh, man.
Starting point is 00:46:44 It was the most perfect picture to sum up their relationship. Great for meme content. And it sums up their relationship. It's, it's, Forbidden. Brad, you let her go. You moved on with Angelina.
Starting point is 00:46:55 And now he realizes what he did. Yeah. And now he's holding on to and she's like, I can't. I want to. But I can't. And she just leaves him in the dust. Yeah. In which she should. She should. Like, yes, Brad Pitt. Any other girl, any other woman, I would say go for it. Please go ahead and have sexual intercourse with Brad Pitt. Do it for us. Jen, no, no. Been there, done that. Been there, done that. You don't need that because he fucked you over. Yeah, we posted the picture on Chicks in the Office and I commented like she's too good for him and boy, some people were mad. But I saw a lot of people agreeing as well. A lot of people agreed. A lot of people, a few, not a lot. I would say a few people were like, no. And it was mostly men who probably wished they were Brad Pitt. Right.
Starting point is 00:47:42 It was a weird, a weird ratio. But it is hard because I think as the young. younger generation who like you said we were young when this the whole thing happened you don't you don't realize the scale kind of of I feel like what that moment was of him cheating on her leaving getting marrying angelina joe lee the tabloids absolutely like brad pitt kind of just classic hot guy movie star moved on to the next woman and still stayed brad pitt yeah And Jennifer Aniston kind of got shit because I was reading about this this week. I was very interested because I was like, what, you know, what?
Starting point is 00:48:27 I feel like I don't even really know still. But a lot of tabloids, like towards the end of their relationship really shit on Jen for like not saying that she didn't want kids yet. And she was holding this back from Brad and not letting Brad have kids and that she was just going to be like a barren old lady. And it was just ruthless. Yeah, that I agree with you. I also started reading stuff about what happened because I was confused because when I was younger, I really loved Angelina Jolie and she was one of my favorite actresses. Like I really looked up to Angela Jolie. You miss her and Mrs. Smith is a great movie.
Starting point is 00:49:06 When people talked about Angelina Jolie versus Jennifer Anderson, as a young girl, I'd be like, Angelina Jolie because I had no idea what actually happened between Angelina and Jen. now I'm team Jen like you know obviously because Brad Pitt just straight up left her for Angelina Jolie like if you're team Angelina Jolie then you're team mistress and I'm not down with that so it you know it is what it is yeah I still like Angelina Jolie for her movies right I think it would also maybe be a different story if she if she and Brad Angelina and Brad we're still together you know and like you can kind of justify it as he and Jen maybe weren't meant to Angelina was the one for him. They're split up now anyway, so it's like...
Starting point is 00:49:54 Right, totally different story. And yeah, and he made the joke like, ha ha, I don't get along with my wife, wives. Because, you know, you see this, he and Angelina had a pretty bad breakup divorce. Like he doesn't, he seems like he doesn't really have a phenomenal relationship with his children.
Starting point is 00:50:13 And so now, now, but still, still, everybody is like, yes, Brad and Jen. And I think a lot of it is just because they're two ridiculously attractive people who are two like ridiculously attractive A-less celebrities who you're like, yeah, I mean, just for entertainment purposes, them getting back together would be amazing. Right, two icons. We're looking at
Starting point is 00:50:37 legends right in front of our face. So we appreciate that. Yeah, because we love them both. Listen, see, now this is where it gets tricky because like I said, I still like Angelina Jolie. And I like, I like her movies. But because you can't control, like, she probably just couldn't control Brad Pitt. Like, she wants to bang Brad Pitt. What are you supposed to do there?
Starting point is 00:50:56 And not only Brad Pitt, probably not bang him, but also. You are, he was so high. In close corners. Now, I'm not trying to defend her. But then, because I love Brad Pitt still. So if I'm going to hate Angelina Jolie, then I got to hate Brad Pitt. I don't hate either of them. I like them both.
Starting point is 00:51:13 Being with an actor is just got to be hard as hell, right? Like, you see your husband. lock in this movie. You just got to tell him you can't do the movie. I know that sounds ridiculous, but like at that point, you got to be like, hey man, you can't make a movie where you're like super sexy spies or whatever assassins, not spies, they're assassins where you're like trying to kill and fuck Angelina Jolie. It's just not going to work. No, straight. You will fall in love with that person. You will want to fuck Angelina Jolie in real life. That's just facts. I agree with you 100% if you
Starting point is 00:51:46 like I you're a married man if you're married man you can't take that role no because without a doubt and as a wife girlfriend whatever you should know your guy is also is gonna want to fuck that person you should just have
Starting point is 00:52:00 that self-awareness you can be so in love but being that close in that movie that environment their roles with each other like eventually and we've always talked about this like they're gonna want to they're gonna want to see what's what would happen or what what they're working with right so the moral of the
Starting point is 00:52:20 story is yeah if you have an actor boyfriend or husband do not let them do roles like no it's just crazy other and it is brad bit like there'll be other movies there but i i also think a lot of time has passed right it's been 15 years after gen 1 she was just talking about like how it's so cool for them all to be like in this place and they're winning these awards on their own now and to kind of share those moments because they've grown up together and it's like wow like hey look at us winning awards and remember when we used to be married yeah throwback because it probably feels like they never were even married 15 years for them is life like even more for a normal person they live so many lives of 15 years right the shit they experience as actors yeah so i'm sure
Starting point is 00:53:13 they're fine. I'm sure they're friends. They're friends and they're friends. And we've seen them or heard about them socializing. You know, he's he shows up at her. He was at her birthday party or like, you know, other things where he's around and obviously they've been around each other all a war season because they've both been nominated for stuff. So yeah. I just, I can't imagine what would happen if they did end up back together. The world would explode. It would be great for this podcast. Celebrities, even celebrities were freaking out about these two, just having this moment. So I really think everybody would just lose their shit. Everyone's on board.

And I'm glad that you guys continue to have me back. And I'm happy to do it anytime you guys are going to let me do it.
Starting point is 00:56:58 Every single week. All right. So let's get into it, Fran. I want to you started off. Okay. Guys, another great episode of The Bachelor. we picked up right where we left off kind of like the remnants of
Starting point is 00:57:14 Champagne Gate Champagne Gate was such a accomplishment for this show that you know it's like where do you go from here but all the girls are still crying they're still upset everybody's upset that the drama is still around this bottle of champagne
Starting point is 00:57:32 Kelsey's crying Hannah Ann's crying everybody else is just like kind of tired of it and I think we can just wrap up this point because they cut from like this to Victoria's date and then back to Hannah Ann and Kelsey and then back to Victoria's date. So we'll just wrap up Champagne Gate before we get to Victoria's date. Finally, Hannah Ann and Kelsey like sit down to talk to each other. Yep.
Starting point is 00:57:56 And I don't even know what Kelsey says because it really doesn't even matter because Hannah Ann. She ends up saying that she doesn't even care about champagne. Oh, yeah, yeah. She doesn't like champagne. She, but like, I don't even, like, her opening line, they were just talking. And then Hannah Ann was just like, yeah, you know, this whole finasco has just been so tough. So that's just not the right word.
Starting point is 00:58:20 This is when I knew this was going to be a great episode, an all-time episode, because I'm watching this. She says finasco. I think she meant to say fiasco, but I'm stupid. After the finasco of the show. She says it in such a way that she has, it's like, I've been saying. I've been saying this for 25 years, and for some reason, not a single person has corrected me to say that, hey, it's actually fiasco. I was mind-blown because there are times on this show where there are words that come up that I don't know, that I haven't heard before. Deffining.
Starting point is 00:58:53 That is one of them. Remember when we talked about defecening? It happens. It happens. So I'm sitting there. I'm like, fanatco. Oh, my God. the money I would pay to like,
Starting point is 00:59:06 if you were on like a show like this where you were just like, you know, Kelsey and Hannah Ann and were staring at each other and let me tell you the silence was defeating. It's almost like, yeah, you want to go back and not correct her. Yes. Like I want to live.
Starting point is 00:59:18 That's why the producers are like, we're just going to let that one get a lot. Which is not a real shame because Hannah Ann is never going to say finasco again. But I want to live in a world where she's just like, it's finasco and you all are wrong. The show was an absolute finasco last night. Absolute finasco.
Starting point is 00:59:31 This part was, it was so good because, there was a moment where everybody on Twitter realized, oh, she just said finasco. Yeah. I thought she said Fadasco. And I was just like, I blinked. It was like, I got to rewind that. Like, what did she just say?
Starting point is 00:59:46 Rewinded it. I at first heard Fadasco, but everybody on Twitter was like, she just said Fanasco. And I was like, oh, she definitely said Fadasco. It doesn't matter if she said Fadascco or Fianasco. She did not say fiasco. That's all we know. Either way, she did not say fiasco. But yes, Trent, you were right.
Starting point is 01:00:02 Like, they, these two are not. going to see eye to eye. I'm sure we're going to get back to like these two hating each other at some point. Because Kelsey is just like adamant that she's not bullying. She's like she said using unkind words is not bullying. I got to tell you, I think that's bully.
Starting point is 01:00:19 Yeah. No? You know, it's tough because I, when I think of bullying, I think of like somebody that is, it's a persistent thing. Like it's over time that this person just continues to do bad, mean things towards you? Or it's very one-sided.
Starting point is 01:00:38 Like, for instance, I think bullying can happen once. I understand I think it's like a persistent thing. Bullying happens. I think you could get bullied one time by one person. But I think it's a, it has to be a totally one-sided thing. Like, I'm trying to think, for instance, I don't, I don't know. It just felt like they were splitting hairs a little bit. She's like, it's not bullying it when someone's.
Starting point is 01:01:02 says mean words directly at you to hurt your feelings. Then it's like, well, then what is it? Yeah. Well, the thing is they got into a fight. Okay. That's where I think there's a difference. There was, if it was unprovoked and all of a sudden, Kelsey was like, you're a bitch.
Starting point is 01:01:17 There was no conflict. That's just straight up bullying. You are just calling me mean names out of the meanness of your heart. There's no reason you're doing this. She felt like she was wronged by her. Exactly. Like, you're a bitch. I think it's just catty.
Starting point is 01:01:31 I think that's what it comes down to. I think it's, I think bullying is totally different. All right, that makes a lot of sense. I, the conf- yeah, I mean, if Hannah-Anne did absolutely nothing and was just mine in her own business and Kelsey was like, you're fake bitch, I could be like, oh, whoa. Right, that would be, but, you know, the champagne gate stealing the champagne, whatever. Hannah-Anne, I assume Hannah-Anne apt had truly no idea that that, what was going on and it was a whole orchestrated thing anyway.
Starting point is 01:02:00 but I feel like Kelsey really does think that Hannah Ann did it on purpose So they both really don't like each other Hannah Hannah Ann It just really bothers me that she And I'm not one to like curse all the time But when she says like you called me the B word
Starting point is 01:02:19 I'm like oh put on your big girl pants The thing is she said bitch and then she said B word So to me I think she's being fake Like she says bitch and then she realizes oh wait That's not the polite person I'm supposed to be playing Let me say the B word. Right. And she was like, Kelsey, you told me to say the fuck away from you.
Starting point is 01:02:34 She said it. Right. And then she said fuck. So, you know what? I think she's just in a moment. She's realizing, oh, wait, I'm supposed to be sweet, innocent, Hannah Ann. But we don't need that. We like somebody who curses.
Starting point is 01:02:46 Fuck you. Go right ahead. Fuck yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Just curse. Just do it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:50 Just fucking do it. Just do it. You're grown up. I think it's more of like if you're going to cite somebody like for. cursing. You know, then you, like, you're going to say, you said this to me. Like, just say what they said, you know. So, you know, they're not going to get along.
Starting point is 01:03:10 It kind of just ends. They're clearly not going to see eye to eye on any of this. They're just not going to like each other. And then we had the date with Victoria Pete. She gets picked up by Peter. He, once again, I just feel like all of these one-on-one dates are Peter just picking the girl up and getting. a car.
Starting point is 01:03:30 Like, it's like a real date because he's from the, he's from the area. So he's like, oh, that's my favorite wine bar and that's where I go hang out. Like, this is, if you turn down that street, there's my house. I'm so confused if Peter is just in his house and he's just on his phone. Like, what, does Peter have any rules? I'm confused. He totally does. There's no way he's allowed to stay at his own house.
Starting point is 01:03:51 It is very funny to think about him just like driving home to his own house every night. Like a person who like went to college somewhere close to home and they're like, well, I'm just going to go back to my place. Exactly. I don't need to sleep over tonight. No, I'll just go. My bed at home is great. My mom just cooked me dinner.
Starting point is 01:04:06 Exactly. She does my laundry. It's fantastic. He definitely, there's no way, but it is, it is very funny to think that he just gets in his car and drives away, because that's what it seems like he does. He's just pulling up to the mansion all the time. But he picks up Victoria in a very cool, you know, old pickup. And they go to this.
Starting point is 01:04:29 country music, line dancing theme date. Now, this is where I'd be out. You'd be out. Out on the line dancing? Yeah, I'm just out. It's like not my scene.
Starting point is 01:04:41 And I feel like... Yeah, see, you don't have a choice. That's the thing. No, but that's... You've got to act like it's your scene. Exactly. That's like when she's like... Red wine or wine or white?
Starting point is 01:04:50 And he says red and she's like, that's my favorite. And then she orders white at the bar. Right. Well, I'm not leaving. I'm not literally out, but like in my head, I'm like, we're probably not going to make it. You know, you really...
Starting point is 01:04:59 like country line dancing. I don't really like that. It would be super interesting if one girl was like, you know, if this one-on-one's not for me. I don't like the theme of it. I'm just going to leave. Maybe the next time it comes around, I'll be into it, but I'm out.
Starting point is 01:05:11 I'm out on this one. Yeah, they do the full shabang. Like, the boots, the hats, they're dancing in the store with no music. Again, it's just so much dancing with no music. There is dancing with music.
Starting point is 01:05:25 Yeah. But there was dancing once again with no music. teaching her some line dancing moves. They go to this country bar to line dance. Peter just kept talking about how this is one of his favorite activities and he likes, you know, going line dancing with his friends.
Starting point is 01:05:42 And it was just making me laugh because I'm like, who in Southern California like goes line dancing on like a Saturday night? Yeah, it doesn't seem like a common thing in that part of the country. It doesn't. I mean, a quick Google search showed me that Peter did go to baler. That makes sense. So, you know, maybe picked up some, some.
Starting point is 01:06:03 I think you probably had to be it because otherwise you don't come across line dancing. Right. Some line dancing skills from there and he took it back. But what seems like a country bar is what they went to. But it was all, it could have just been a bar that they made a country bar. Right. Like, who knows. But it seemed like they had a very, very nice time.
Starting point is 01:06:22 They're dancing. They were kissing. They're all the crowds dancing around them. Now, in defense of her white wine or. order. Okay. I love red wine as well. I would say red wine. I prefer red wine over white wine. But on a date where you're like moving, dancing, like being active, I would order white wine because red wine kind of like is chill. I just want to hang, drink red wine. Makes me sleepy.
Starting point is 01:06:46 Okay. I don't know enough about the wine game apparently. I'm with Fran on that one. Like if I'm trying to like have a more excited night, exciting night, I'm going white. I know Fran likes red. So I said Fran, you can get a bottle of red. Yeah. Because I know she likes red. I was like, I'm into red now. She goes, no, no, I get white. Because we're not trying to fall asleep at this table. Red is just more of like a calm, either night in or a nice dinner out with a nice red.
Starting point is 01:07:11 Steak dinner. Yeah, like if I'm trying to drink a lot of wine, it's going to be white because drinking a lot of red is tough. Headaches. Yeah. Headaches city drinking a lot. I mean, I get headaches from both. Red a little bit more.
Starting point is 01:07:26 Yeah, plus you're also out, you know, red wine stains. your teeth, like we're trying to go out. Same your lips. Your whole mouth is like purple. I'm learning a lot. Yep. I'm learning a whole lot. There's a little explanation for all those.
Starting point is 01:07:38 Giving her shit for wearing white wine. I hate wine mouth on people. I hate it. I hate it. I'm sorry. I hate it. Yeah. You can't avoid it.
Starting point is 01:07:45 But oh, God. It just looks gross. Yeah. And like I said, this is their first date. She's probably not. She doesn't want stained teeth already, you know? All fair points. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:55 Across the board. You guys made 100% good points. Thank you. Thank you. Okay, so they're having a great date. This date was going very, very well. They go to like a really nice hangar. It looked like more planes for their dinner night portion.
Starting point is 01:08:10 They are just talking about how they like each other. She opens up about her past. And I think it's safe to say that Victoria P is definitely a favorite, definitely a fan favorite. I think a lot of people like her. Because she seems like a very real person who's gone through some very, like, serious, serious problems. She told Peter all about her dad passing away when she was really young and her mom falling into addiction, growing up in and out of shelters, like the pressure of kind of being the one to take care of her mom and her sister,
Starting point is 01:08:49 not knowing what they were going to eat from meal to meal. I know a lot of people were talking about, you know, how she brought up the potato eating potatoes with salt and pepper. I thought that sounded kind of nice. That sounds bad, but like you split up. On this show in the past, Christina S famously talks about eating lipstick. And I would say a potato with salt and pepper on it is quite an upgrade from that. Like I would eat a potato with salt and pepper on it right now. It's tough to beat the lipstick, eating the lipstick story.
Starting point is 01:09:16 Yeah. It's still a sad story, but potato and... Potatoes are good. Really good. If you somehow scrummers together a little butter, sounds amazing. Like a nice baked potato. Yeah. So good.
Starting point is 01:09:28 Oh, you're not from Idaho. You're from Iowa. Sorry. Were you going to be like you're from the land of potato? Yeah. Yeah. You're like potato man. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:35 You're corn boy. Sorry. I forgot. That is. I'm from the land of corn. Oh, man. So, yeah, look, they, I think this was like a very serious, very real conversation between them.
Starting point is 01:09:47 Pete, Pete's eyes just like, I feel like almost glazed over. Like, he was just listening to her, but it seemed like really was liking her more and more. every second. I think he really appreciated her sharing her story with him. She's talked about how she didn't think she was deserving of love. Peter talked about this moment that he had before he went on the show where he said he was talking to God. Just another bachelor guy talking to God.
Starting point is 01:10:20 The first time with him that we've, to my knowledge, that he's talked about this. Yes. We're actually said, you know, I was talking to God. and not in the shower. I haven't thought about Luke Pete so long. I know, me too. Makes me happy not thinking about him, but what an outrageous thing he said at that time.
Starting point is 01:10:38 Yep, right? I can't think about it without like hearing that and not immediately thinking about Luke Pete talking to God in the shower. It's super unfortunate. You can't think about the Lord without thinking about Luke Pete just in the shower and rethinking all the mistakes he made.
Starting point is 01:10:51 I can't take a shower without thinking about the Lord. And Luke B. So, So he said that he, it was right before this started, he was really hopeful about the process. He just had a feeling that this process was going to work. And he said, you know, wherever she is, if I find my wife, like, watch over her. This is what God said to Pete? No, this is what he said to God.
Starting point is 01:11:13 Oh, okay. You got it backwards. Right, right, right, got it. He's telling God to watch over the woman that he could potentially end up with. In my experience with the Lord and hearing about God, he doesn't do much talking back. It's a pretty one-way system. Well, that's why I thought I missed something. I was like, wait, Pete, God said something to Pete.
Starting point is 01:11:32 Well, I feel like Luke P. definitely said that he heard something back from God. When I was younger, when I would pray a lot, obviously. I went to Catholic school my whole life, and my mom would make us pray before bed every night. Obviously, as a young kid, you're wondering, like, okay, I'm not hearing anything back. I started, like, telling myself things that he would say to me,
Starting point is 01:11:56 Yeah, I think that's kind of It's pretty standard Right, I'd be like Okay, he said that's okay Just like, I think he'd be okay with that At one point, is this motherfucker going to say anything? Very, very true Sorry
Starting point is 01:12:10 No, no, you guys are Okay, wait, anyway, to finish this part He said this And then a shooting star Went across the sky And he felt like that was a sign What would be like Jed's basketball shot.
Starting point is 01:12:27 What a beautiful moment. Yeah. What a beautiful moment. Yeah, I'm very clear. You know, that's who we shared this with. Told Victoria P. about the shooting star. And he was like, this feels so right. He said insanely right.
Starting point is 01:12:40 He clearly really, really likes Victoria. She gets a Rose. They're making out in a plane and the hangar. I thought we were going to get a Titanic. You know the scene in Titanic where Rose and, oh boy. Jack sneak into that place where all the cars are. And then the car gets all steamy. I think they should have remade that scene.
Starting point is 01:12:59 The hand slaps the window. Yeah, that's iconic. Yeah. I would have been into that. That would have been a great. I wish I hadn't said those words. Damn. I was into the scene.
Starting point is 01:13:09 Trent, if you need to excuse yourself and go grab your laptop and go into a private room, we'll be okay with that. No, no, I'm good. I'm just saying it would have been a funny little nod to Titanic. It would have been funny. And they could add sex too. If they just kind of like turn the heat up inside the plane. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:23 Without, without them knowing. Yeah. We're out of control today. Sorry, sorry. Okay, guys, I don't even know. Ria is on one. Yeah, she is. You good?
Starting point is 01:13:39 Yeah, I'm good. I drive my phone on the phone. Okay. All right, we're back. Where to pick up. Okay, Victoria gets the rose. Pretty clear that she's a frontrunner. Obviously, in later in the episode, you'll see where Pete really trusts her.
Starting point is 01:13:54 but she is, I mean, I would be stunned if she doesn't make it deep into the show. Yeah, I agreed. I stand Victoria P. I like her a lot. I think she seems like a legitimate, like, real person. Yes, and Dave said that he met her. Right. And she was extremely real.
Starting point is 01:14:11 Quote, the real deal. The real deal. Yeah. Unquote. There you go. Okay, so after this one-on-one date, we go back to the house, and this is where things start to take off with Alea. I think a lot of people were watching this and was like,
Starting point is 01:14:24 who the hell is this chick? Like she just kind of like stole the show really fast. She, though up until this point to her, to me, she was like the how do I say that girl's name girl? Because I would see it pop up and I was like, I can't. Is it a Leia? Is it a liar? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:39 So up until then I didn't know much about her. Right. The only reason I knew something was going to happen with her is because once again, not everybody watches it. But when Chris Harrison does the little Facebook video reveal of all the contestants at the beginning of the season. He drops little hints and he was like, there's some good drama with Alea. There's some pageant drama going on. So, you know, he leaves little hints. So I, I knew she was coming into play sometime. I knew Alea was coming into play last night when I tweeted this
Starting point is 01:15:09 clip and I wrote, if I was a casting director, I would not give this girl the part. There was one little moment and it was right after Hannah and Kelsey were arguing, arguing, sorry. And Alea had this one line. I don't, I can't remember what it was. I'm watching it. Noah, if you could go to my Twitter and scroll down. Oh, is it when she said, I'm never going to be able to look at Champagne the same again. That was the fakeest acting I've ever seen. Super dramatic. Somebody must have given her a line and she did not nail it.
Starting point is 01:15:38 She did not. I was like, who is that girl? I feel like she definitely came up with that one herself. It seems like. Yeah. That eye roll. So she, she's in the house. and she's sitting up on the counter in the kitchen.
Starting point is 01:15:56 She's got her bando top on. She's drinking red wine. She's got the pilot captain's hat on. Where did she get that pilot's hat? It's everywhere. That pilot's hat came from somebody's date. Hannah's date? She was sitting with Hannah Ann and somebody else.
Starting point is 01:16:14 She was like, can I steal this from you? I'm taking this. And then she put it on her head. I don't know. That's a red flag. Her just being like, I'm going to put this thing on. Yeah. I'm trying to think of.
Starting point is 01:16:23 what date, maybe Kelly? No. I don't know. Didn't somebody, maybe somebody just came in with it during the thing? Yeah. Or it came from, it came from somebody's date, somebody took it home, who knows. And she was like, I'm testing out that pilot life dude. I, first of all, hate the dude, not a fan of the dude thing.
Starting point is 01:16:42 When girls drop dude? Dude to like a bunch of other girls. Yeah. Like, I can never confidently drop a dude. No. Dude. I can't, yeah. It can't pull it off.
Starting point is 01:16:53 Yeah, but if I'm talking to Fran, I'm like, dude, I don't know. Like, honestly, bro comes out easier and I'm not going to start throwing bro out. But dude just doesn't, I can't even speak. Doesn't roll off the top. Well, she kept saying it. She was like that she said, somebody asked her if she has a wild side. And she was like, fuck yeah, dude. I get nasty.
Starting point is 01:17:12 I get nasty. And everyone I honestly. I honestly. I honestly. I'm like, boy, this girl is a problem. If you're sitting on the counter and you got to say, I get nasty, you're going to be a problem for the rest of the Yeah, 100%. I also think it's hilarious that she was going on.
Starting point is 01:17:27 While absolutely hammered, bando top, sloppy all over the table. And she's like, people think I'm so innocent. It's like, no. Actually, none of us are thinking that right now at all. Yeah, yeah, it was, it was tough. She's got this hat. She's talking about the pilot wife life. I think it was maybe, maybe I'm trying to think of who tweeted it.
Starting point is 01:17:53 because I retweet it. I think it was Caitlin. Caitlin Bristow tweeted. Who, yeah, she, she tweeted, yeah, she lost me at living that pilot wife life. Live your own life, girlfriend. Like, yeah, you know, maybe just you don't need to hit your wagon to Pete's pilot career. But they, this was like the immediate red flag. And they were smart because, right, they play this clip of her probably a little drunk, like hanging out with the girls.
Starting point is 01:18:22 and they play that first before they play Sydney being like, I think this girl is fake AF. Yeah, right. So it's in the correct order. It totally makes sense. They then cut to the group date being announced. It's, okay. I think, okay, and here we go.
Starting point is 01:18:42 I've been saying Kira because it feels like Pete says Kira. Like when he gives her a rose, it's like, Kira, Kira. What else? What do you think it is? Natasha. when she was saying all the names on the date card said Kiara. Oh, man. So I'm thinking her name is Kiara and Pete's been fucking it up this whole time.
Starting point is 01:18:59 It's definitely spelled Kiara. And I will say that Pete fucked up Sheehan's name last night during the Rose ceremony. The first time he said it, he said Sheehan. And then the second time he said he said Sheehan. So I feel like somebody like corrected him. I don't think he knows the name. It's a very close in between Kira and Kiera. It looks like Kiara.
Starting point is 01:19:20 Every time Pete says it. I'm like, I think he's fucking this up. Pete's defense, there's some hard to pronounce names as Micah. That's an interesting way to spell McKenna. Alea, that one has been tough. There's just a couple names that are kind of hard to wrap your head around. Like if her name was Kira, it would be spelled K-I-E-R-A. And it's spelled K-I-A-R-A-R-A.
Starting point is 01:19:40 There's tons of different spellings for Kira. I feel like... I feel like this is definitely Kiarra. And I think that also because Natasha, when she, like, she knows all. the girl's names. She said Kiara. I would leave Natasha over Pete on knowing the girl's name. For sure, they spend way more time to go. Exactly. So that's what I'm going to go with.
Starting point is 01:20:02 Alea seems like it's just getting worse and worse for her, right? Like she, her name is on the day card. It's Kiara, Sarah, Tammy, Kelly, Sheehance, Savannah, Sydney, Alea. Allaya turns to Jasmine and throws out a baby girl. Dude, baby girl. It's just getting worse
Starting point is 01:20:20 and worse and worse. If a girl calls me baby girl, slapping her. Just even before the sentence is done. Just slap. Like not really knowing me. Like what? I take that as an insult. Baby girl,
Starting point is 01:20:29 how do you feel not getting a date is what she said to her? That is when I really knew we had a problem. The clips before she's drunk. She's got the hat on. It's like, all right, this is kind of strange. That, to do that to just turn to someone and be like,
Starting point is 01:20:40 how does it feel to not be on a date is just me? It's such a condescending thing. The fact that you throw it, baby girl. Like you're now talking down to me. Right. I don't like it. No. That's how I would feel if I was Jasmine.
Starting point is 01:20:51 And yeah, totally. It was all a very, and they keep cutting to Sydney talking to producers, just talking about how she really does not like Alea and has, you know, her alarms are going off big time about this girl. And then they all get woken up by Demi. Demi's back. I kind of wish we got a little bit more of Demi. Like I feel like they, they got around making.
Starting point is 01:21:21 a stupid pillow fight in your lingerie date because they were like, Demi planned this date. Like, you know, like, that was a, that was a way for them to be like, well, we can't get shit for planning a, let's all get the girls slapping each other's with pillows and their pajamas.
Starting point is 01:21:39 She was their proxy. Because Demi is the one who organized it. And the best parts of Demi is when, like the best thing we got from Demi was when her and Jordan were on in Paradise. And they were like, they were commentary. Yeah. Commenting on like these people. Yeah, this one was just like she was a proxy for their crazy pillow fight date idea.
Starting point is 01:21:55 We're still doing this. Like we're organizing group dates where it's pillow fights in our laundry. Like, I was a little over it. But like I said, Demi was able to just be like, we're all fighting in our pajamas. And it was not a big deal. If I ever get woken up by a pillow to the face, I'm going to be furious. Like if those girls took it in stride. They really, they really went in.
Starting point is 01:22:18 I would have liked, like you said, when Demi, it was more of a. a commentating thing. Like put Demi in the booth with Chris Harrison. Like I'll let's get some back and forth. Not like, because we didn't really get to see her too much. And Fred Willard wasn't putting a ton forward. No,
Starting point is 01:22:34 it gets on this show every. He must just be a massive fan or something. Either he loves it or his agent is taking advantage of him. Right? Like his agent is just like, oh Fred, you got another spot on the, on the bachelor. Because the bat, like, maybe they're getting a nice page. check for being involved in this.
Starting point is 01:22:53 I don't know. It seems, it seems very bizarre to me. I feel like that man would rather be anywhere else. He does not seem that into it. He's reading from, I feel like he's just reading from a piece of paper.
Starting point is 01:23:05 Chris Harrison's bringing 100% of the energy in that booth. Yeah. And Demi would be great up there. You're right. Yeah, definitely. I think that would have been a better, a better dynamic.
Starting point is 01:23:15 So all the girls get their own outfits for this state. Everybody has a different bag. everybody gets different pajamas, whether it's sexy, not sexy. Poor Savannah got a mu-moo. So, you know, she was just in basically wearing a giant sheet. And Kiara, I'm just going to stick with Kiara got, she's opening her back. And she's like, inside was just like a cute little pajama lingerie set.
Starting point is 01:23:42 I don't get how this happened because either she's been saying lingery. her whole life for lingerie. When she sees a bra and underwear set, she calls it lingerie. Yeah. Or she was reading something and pronounced lingerie as lingerie, which would be the better option.
Starting point is 01:24:03 But I truthfully think that she's just been calling this thing lingering. I think she has as well. How? How? How do you go as a normal human being on this earth and call it lingerie? I think it might be the same thing as finasco people. And inside of it was like a cute pajama lingerie set. I think it's the same thing as Finasco.
Starting point is 01:24:21 People are like, all right, well, we're not going to correct her. She seems nice, so we'll just let her keep saying lingery. It's very straight. Lingery is so hard. It's so much worse than Fianco. It's just as bad. Fasco is bad, but it's like a fake word, you know? And like, Lingery is also a fake word, but like...
Starting point is 01:24:38 She meant. It's clear what she meant. Yes. It's just never maybe hearing somebody say lingerie. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. And lingerie is a word.
Starting point is 01:24:48 you come across far more often than fiasco. I've been here in lingerie since I was. Yeah. Maybe you don't know. Maybe you don't know how lingerie is spelled. Because it doesn't matter. It's speaking. I don't know how a lot of things are spelled when I'm speaking.
Starting point is 01:25:03 Yeah. I don't know. Just trying to come up for some reason for her. There's no other words. None of the girls were like, it's lingerie. That's what I was waiting for. Well, that's the thing. She said it in a video.
Starting point is 01:25:16 Yeah. She said it in a video. Oh, that's right. Right. That's right. I will say. So it just a producer laughing in her face. They all got these cute lingering sets.
Starting point is 01:25:25 And it wasn't that some got sexy and some got unsexy. They all got sexy sets besides Savannah. Savannah is the only one in the group that got a moo-moo. And I don't I don't understand why. Literally every girl was looking cute in their laundret. And you know that I saw a lot of people tweeting to me like, well, I wouldn't want to be in my laundrae on TV. Anyway, bitch, you're fighting for Peter. You want to be in your lingerie in front of Peter.
Starting point is 01:25:54 You do not want to be standing in a moo-moo in a gown when all of these girls next to you are in lingerie. That's just, you would not want to be in that position. We got to be missing some, like, producer inside joke where they're like, we'll give them all lingerie, but Savannah's getting a moo-moo. And now they're all, like, laughing to themselves about. Is there some story they know about Savannah and mummoos? I don't know. I mean, even Alea, like, had a long nightgown, but it was still, like, pretty. Right.
Starting point is 01:26:18 You know, it was kind of, yeah, kind of sexy. Now, in an old kind of way. If we're talking real life, like, yeah, I want to be comfortable. I probably don't want to be in a lingering set all night long. Yeah. But like you said, the point is to catch Peter's attention. Well, yeah, in the van, Peter, did you just catch, Peter was like, so you guys, is this what you guys wanted to sleep?
Starting point is 01:26:39 And they were all like, no. No. I actually support that question. They were like, no, like this was all, all of these were given to us for. this date specifically. And he's like, ah, just kidding. I know. He also thought that girls actually have like pillow fights, pillow fights at their sleepovers.
Starting point is 01:26:56 Because after the date, he was like, well, I just, you know, thought it would remind you of your childhood. Yeah. I couldn't believe he said that. I get confused on what Pete knows and what Pete doesn't know. On one hand, he's like this, he's this guy who keeps condoms in his car. And on the other hand, he's this guy is like, what do you guys wear to bed? Like, what happens?
Starting point is 01:27:13 It's like he was maybe being fed these lines to make this date seem way. more like cute and fun than how kind of bizarre it really was. So then we got into the actual fighting portion of the date, pillow fighting, that is. Pillow fighting. And things were getting intense. I was picturing if, like, we were out there. What's your tactic? Do you want to be the one who overdominates or do you want to be the one who gets scared?
Starting point is 01:27:40 Like Tammy, I felt almost went too hard in the beginning. She got disqualified. I don't really know why she got disqualified. But Chris Harrison was like Tammy's. qualified. I don't know how she's disqualified. She tossed Kelly to the ground and I think they fell off like the mat. I don't know what it was.
Starting point is 01:27:54 Kelly had a very funny line. I love Kelly. She just seems like a very normal person. She was just like, yeah, I mean, who wants to see their attorney dressed in lingerie on a TV show? She like has a real life job. She is a real life lawyer. Everyone.
Starting point is 01:28:09 You know what I mean? Like people would love to see their attorney. Maybe, but also maybe not. It might be dawning on Kelly. It might be done. Johnny on Kelly like, what am I doing here? Yeah, right. What's going on?
Starting point is 01:28:20 I met Pete out in the normal world. I should have just started dating him then. And now I'm somehow in a pillow fight in the middle of a bar. This date definitely makes him feel that way. Everybody is just like really going in, really fighting. Alea and Sydney fight once. They fought again in the final match. Sarah got absolutely destroyed by a pill.
Starting point is 01:28:41 Like Sarah's gotten zero air time except for a slow-mo shot of her getting drilled in the head with the pillow. Just really, really unfortunate. Trent, you tweeted it and I had pointed out like during the Cheyenne Savannah fight, there was like this very bizarre moment
Starting point is 01:28:59 where the camera just cut to this old lady slitting the throat of a teddy bear and there was like a like a sound effect. Terrifying. What the fuck was that? It was just one second. It was the weirdest thing ever. It was very bizarre that they threw that in there.
Starting point is 01:29:16 I have no. idea why. It's just a random old lady. I was dying at Noah Sweet from the chicks in the office account. That was just, sorry, what the hell is this? Scary. And you, like, there was no sound. All there was was just, like, a sword slash noise.
Starting point is 01:29:31 And you were just like, what the- hand up, like? Yeah. She was just like, what the hell was that? Very weird. Who's grandma? Who's? Super, super strange.
Starting point is 01:29:42 The person who's just been waiting for a pillow fight to break out of whatever bar they're at. She's like, finally. That's why she's so old She's been there for that many years I've been waiting for this day Just wanting to murder teddy bears Just like take the stuffing out of this bear Use it
Starting point is 01:29:56 The whole thing was very bizarre But of course Alea and Sydney are the final match again Because they clearly are the ones With the most drama So Demi's like hey you guys win You guys are fighting again So they fight again
Starting point is 01:30:08 They're really like really fighting wrestling pulling each other's hair Taking each other down at one point Peter yelled show me you want it I was like I literally was like
Starting point is 01:30:21 oh my god Peter caught the top of like Peter liked this date a little too much he had the look on his face like yeah this is what I wanted to be I was like this is awesome
Starting point is 01:30:30 I've been to like it's every guy's dream right to watch some girls pillow fights Trent you let us know what people actually think of that well I think is that like I've never been to a pillow fight but I've been to like a UFC fight
Starting point is 01:30:41 and a part of you does come out where you're just like you become this bloodthirsty animal. And it's just like, I think Pete kind of got swept up in the moment and the girls are in lingerie. Show me you want it? Yeah. Show me you want it. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:30:55 I would have screamed that to everybody now. It was just, I was like, oh my, oh my word. Oh, my word, Peter. It would have been even funnier if he was like, show me you want it. Just like to himself like, show me you want it. It's like, all right. All right. All right.
Starting point is 01:31:09 All right. Let's calm down. So then Alea, Alea sits on top of her. so, so Sidney says. She said it was like an elephant sitting on a rat. Not really flattering for either one of them. No. But Alea wins.
Starting point is 01:31:23 She gets the crown, a kiss from Peter. We go to the night date. She is, well, Elaa was wearing like a full-blown gown on this portion of the day. I was like, what are you wearing? But she has the crown on her head. She's not taking that thing off. And when she talks to him, we were getting full baby voice. full baby her voice
Starting point is 01:31:44 skyrockets to a different just a different voice. It's the worst. Remember Crystal? Crystal would do this too. That voice can't be real. And also like it's not cute. Like I don't think guys think baby voice is
Starting point is 01:31:58 cute and in a I would say normal conversation. Absolutely not. Like you're talking about your families, but you're like oh my God. Well you know it's just like this just been really hard for me. And then when you normally in real life talk like this. Like it's just.
Starting point is 01:32:11 Just talk normal. I can't even fake a baby voice right now. I've been trying to muster up the courage to do it. I think I 100% can, but I can on the spot. It gets like high and air. She's like, yeah. Yeah. You know?
Starting point is 01:32:24 I don't know. It's not coming out. My voice is getting deeper and deeper. I refuse to do it. Body's fighting against me. So it seems like they're having a good conversation. Peter seems to really like her. She says, I've got a good feeling about you.
Starting point is 01:32:40 Alaya's talking to the girls about how great her conversation went. And then Sidney slapped her with, do you like work at all? It was very funny because it felt like Alaya thought they were just having a normal conversation and that Sidney was not accusing her of being like a fake human. It's incredible how she didn't pick up on that. It was like a full on interrogation that was going to end with, oh, you're just one of these pageant girls who doesn't have a job and just does nothing all day. But Alaya was like, yeah, no, yeah, I work. couple jobs and I like a yeah and given all these answers where she didn't realize it was about to go off a cliff right like she's like talking about her pageant life being like yeah you know I've had to I've have multiple titles and you know that's the life I've like to look primped and proper all the time it's just sort of my life Cindy's like so you've had to like fake it for the camera sometimes she's like yeah you know you know sometimes you got to put it on like when the picture I'll yeah I feel like I'm being incriminated anytime somebody's talking to me the fact that a lea did not pick up on the social cues right away from this is alarming
Starting point is 01:33:40 This is like right off the bat, we should know this girl does not have any self-awareness and is crazy. Because anybody would know, would feel pressured. They'd be like, why is Sydney coming on to be like this? If someone asks you a question, the first one is, do you work at all? You should be like, what's up? Yeah. What's going on? Fight?
Starting point is 01:33:57 Yeah. You just want to put, you want to get punched in the face? Yeah, it's very true. So then he has, he has a nice moment with Kelly where Kelly is still, she's trying to act like there in real life as much as possible. tells him to clean up his beard. She's more of a scruff gal. Doesn't really like it. Just full girlfriend mode already.
Starting point is 01:34:17 But Peter says, you know, that Kelly's one of the reasons why he thinks the process is going to work. He has a good conversation with Tammy. He kisses her. Very funny line. Because she was like, I just don't want you to think I'm like one of the bros. And he was like, I don't do this with my bros. It's just sort of making out with her. Very fair point, Peter.
Starting point is 01:34:36 and then Sydney goes to talk to Peter and she just talks about how hard the week has been and that a lot of the other girls that, you know, she doesn't really, she's not really like the other girls so she's worried that the classic happens every season where there's one girl who's like, I don't think you like me because you like these girls and I don't like these girls. So, you know, she says that there's people who have been fake who she thinks are acting out for the camera.
Starting point is 01:35:04 And Peter goes right back to the group and just, put Sydney on the fucking spot. Like, it's just like, hey, guys, Sydney told me that she thinks some of you guys are fake. Can you please dress? Who's fake? Raise her hand. And usually the Bachelor of the Bachelorette will, like,
Starting point is 01:35:22 they'll hedge it. You know, I've been hearing some talk from some people about how some people might not be here for the right reasons. He was like, no, Sydney, specifically Sydney, sitting over there, said that a couple of you, Alleya specifically, have not been. Your true selves. And then Pete does something amazing. He just disappears.
Starting point is 01:35:40 He leaves it there and lets them to fight among themselves. It's the Joker Giff. He just exploded, walked away. Now, I would have a problem with Peter blowing up somebody's spot like that. Like if they were in an actual relationship, and I think Kelly Keeks tweeted this, if my boyfriend snitched on me snitching, we're going to have an issue. But I don't think Peter realized the damage she was doing when he did that. Like when he, because he ended up giving Sidney the Rose.
Starting point is 01:36:05 So I don't think he realized what he was doing when he just put Sidney on the spot. Right. Him giving her the rose was the confusing part. He rewarded the honesty. Yeah, because then you see it, it all plays out where all of the girls, literally all of them, now go to Pete and her like, you know what, I've been thinking the same things about Alea. She's fake. She's a pageant girl.
Starting point is 01:36:23 She shows you one side. She shows us another side. So I don't know if Pete knew what he was doing, but it ended up being like all the girls are going to turn on Alea. Right. So she ends up, you know, crying to Pete. He's confused. we get to a pool party. There's no cocktail party.
Starting point is 01:36:38 It's just a pool party before the rose ceremony, which is really... I've never seen like a pool party happen on this show before. It is definitely, it's happened before, but it's just such a funny way to just have a cocktail party, but in your bathing suit,
Starting point is 01:36:50 like there's just no one was... It wasn't a pool party. No one was swimming. Nobody was having a good time. Were they not allowed to be in their bikinis? Yeah, it was kind of an odd. Love Island, they could just walk around in their bathing suits.
Starting point is 01:37:02 Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise? They can't even wear bathing suits they want to wear. Right. Because it's a problem. They got to cover it up. So, you know, Peter shows up in his rocket pop bathing suit and his, you know, sweatshirt where he looked like he just drove from his own house, like back again, put on his suit, then got hopped in the car.
Starting point is 01:37:19 I am now convinced more thinking about it that he is staying at home. At his own house. He is. Because when he pulled up, he was wearing, like you said, those shorts. It's like, that is a guy who just got in that car 10 minutes ago from his house. Like opens his drawer. I was like, yeah, I'm going to do the rocket pop bathing suit. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:33 So he says that he's been having a tough time. The doubt's starting to creep in. He apologizes to Sydney for putting her on the spot. And then we have like some top notch editing. It cut back and forth from Alea saying that she doesn't feel like, you know, like the other girls don't feel this way. It was just one person. And then it cuts in between literally every girl going to Peter and,
Starting point is 01:37:56 and talking shit about. Just an endless line of girls being like, Alea is super fake. Kelsey, Natasha, and Lexi. all went to him. They were like, yeah, she definitely, you know, turns it on for the cameras. Could be the pageant thing. You know, Lexi pointed out that when the cameras come on, her voice goes up to five octaves. And I don't know about Kelsey. I'm still unsure how I feel about her. But Natasha and Lexi, I feel like are pretty real people. And Lexi seems like a good judge of character. She's like, look, she's not really somebody that I would like hang out with, you know?
Starting point is 01:38:27 And I think Peter really trust that. So, Alley, and Sidney keep having the same conversation. They're like going around in circles, basically, of just not agreeing on this. I feel like Alleya doesn't really understand what Sidney's saying, and it was just a weird, a weird moment. We got two seconds with Madison. Peter, Madison are like in love.
Starting point is 01:38:50 Like, we get one second of them like being in love and then he goes back to all the other girls. I tweeted. I think this thing might be a rap already. Every time they talk, and you're right, they get very limited time together. But they always, Pete's always talking about, like, remember when you met my fan? family and we took that picture together.
Starting point is 01:39:05 And it seems like if he could, Pete would just feel like, I want to go with Madison and it's over. Right. I want to send you all home. I choose Madison. For sure. It looked like she was carrying like a note in her hand at one point. And I was wondering if like maybe Pete wrote her a note or if she was giving something to Pete,
Starting point is 01:39:19 somebody to look into. And then, you know, Alea and Peter going back and forth. She, she's like keen on that she's being herself, that she's just a happy person. I didn't catch this one at the time, but I didn't realize she said she didn't want to come off disgenuine. So three for three was, you know, we got. Yeah, she didn't say disingenuine. She said disgenuine.
Starting point is 01:39:45 As I was rewatching with the closed caption, it made sure to write disgenuine. But there's something about her that Peter can't get away from. Victoria tells him they're in a bush. It looks secretive on purpose. It looks secretive. And Pete said to her, I really trust you.
Starting point is 01:40:04 Like, what do you think of Alea? And then she just buried her. She said, you know, they knew each other from the pageant world, probably collectively like three hours, but that Alea had asked Victoria not to tell the producers that they knew each other and that she knew that Alaya would be open to other opportunities after the show and literally said maybe she's not the one for you. So I feel like that really got to Peter's head. He goes back, talks to Alaya again.
Starting point is 01:40:30 and she gave one of the worst excuses of all time. Like she could have thought of so many other things and she came up with saying that she didn't want to say anything because she thought that she and Victoria would be disqualified for knowing each other. Have you ever watched this show before? It's like, Kaylin and Hannah, they knew each other. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:48 And they were like they had beef and then they, whatever. Like you get cast for knowing each other. So I feel like she needed to come up with a better excuse. Like she should have said that like she didn't. want the producers to create like fake drama between them because they only knew each other like not really that well. But I don't know, Alea was like we know each other very well in the outside world. So who knows?
Starting point is 01:41:13 She was full baby voice at this point. It was just awful. It just kept getting worse and worse. It was so bad. And then we thought that we would actually, uh, we thought we were going to get a full rose ceremony. We did. He, he ended up taking a rose away because he's very confused.
Starting point is 01:41:30 to Chris Harrison. Chris comes out. He had two roses left. Gave one. Chris took one of them. Never seen that before. So instead of giving out two roses, he only gave out one.
Starting point is 01:41:40 He gave it to McKenna instead of Alea. So Alea, Sarah, Alexa, and Jasmine were going home. Very sad for Sarah. I feel like Sarah got big time screwed on this show. But I feel like she must just be too normal. Probably way too normal. She's so beautiful. She's so beautiful.
Starting point is 01:41:58 I hope she gets to go to Paradise because, I think she got screwed. I was very worried that McKenna was going to go home. I thought they were going to give that rose to Alleya and I was just going to be furious. McKenna was freaking the fuck out. Yeah, she was. She was like I felt like she needed to do breathing exercises or something. She was struggling.
Starting point is 01:42:15 Peter's freaking out to the producers. She doesn't really know if he made the right decision. He seems really conflicted. And from the preview, it seems like they really played off that because Alea comes back during a group date. And. Big sigh. It's so strange. to deal with more drama.
Starting point is 01:42:31 He should have just kept the rose there and picked Alea. Like it's basically the roundabout way we did it. For some reason, he brought in Chris Harrison. Chris Harrison dramatically took the rose away. He picked McKenna. And then it's like, oh, great, Alea's gone because nobody likes Alea. And then it turns out he's just going to turn right around and give that rose to
Starting point is 01:42:47 Alleya. Not at the rose ceremony. It seems like maybe some of these girls, like these girls are going to be really pissed if Alleya comes back. We've seen that happen before where they're like you're going back on your word. They hate that. next week's going to be a good, good episode. We have her coming back and the Victoria F. Chase Rice date.
Starting point is 01:43:06 Yeah, that's what I'm looking forward to. Victoria F drama. Yeah. Her drama is, it's the spiciest type of drama. Can't wait. It's going to be great. All right, that wraps up today's episode. We hope you enjoyed The Bachelor Recap as long as the topics.
Starting point is 01:43:20 And, of course, we'll be back on Monday. Grammy's time. How sad is cloudy, but I like that better. Better Behind the wheel But still ain't on my way Some people say They want to live for them
Starting point is 01:43:40 That's way too long I'll just get through the day Without any complications Does it always got it? Does it always got it? Gotta be so complicated Why you're too young To be getting home
Starting point is 01:44:12 And all I want to do is look But I can't see, baby Who you're talking to? Why are you talking to me, baby? If I can see you But make it Clean up, dismiss, I'm in Not to think about the future
