Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners.
You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube.
Prime members can listen ad-free on Amazon Music.
This is state of emergency.
What's up, everyone?
It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne,
giving you that Friday energy on a Friday.
Hopefully everyone had an amazing week.
Headed into the weekend.
How was your week, Francesca?
Great week.
Love a long weekend week.
Where are you?
start the week on Tuesday and you're just one day ahead of what day it actually is. And it's the best
feeling when you get to the end of the week and you're like, oh, could have swore it was Wednesday,
but it's really Friday. The best. The best feeling. I'm so excited for this summer. Like, I think
it's just going to be a fantastic summer. And now we're heading in that direction, which is great.
My week has been all jumbled. I won't bore you guys to tears with it. But my God, I'm ready for
this week to be over. Yeah, you did have a moment. I got a moment. I got a moment. I got a
physical yesterday for the first time in so many years like I bet people can relate to that feeling
yeah of when you don't have to it actually just reminded me I really have to go get a physical exactly
because when you become an adult and you don't have to send in your physical into your school
yeah then you just don't get a physical nope and so I have not gotten a physical since
my first year of college maybe which was
2016, 2015. I graduated high school in 2015.
So fall, 2015. Yeah, yeah, 2015. So that's like a long time without getting...
I'll be honest. I think I probably have gone longer. Yeah. Not good. Do not follow. Do not...
It's not good. Do not follow our example, people. Right. Because you need to get the blood work. You need to get all those things checked. I know, I know, I know. And so I was... It takes a while to book an appointment for a physical two. Like months in advance. These doctors are booked up.
Well, there's just so many doctors.
Right? And sometimes when you feel like you go to one, it's like, God, what do I have to go to all the other ones?
Right. That's like when I go to the guy in a college. I'm like, why do I have to go to the regular one?
Which she said to me yesterday. She was like, you really don't have to come back here as long as you go to. She was like, I'm going to. She was like, cool. I got my blood taken.
Good.
Which I was excited about. Because when you don't, like I said, every year when you would go to school, you'd get your blood taken. You would know.
Just a subtle reminder. Everything's a okay.
I remember the year my mom woke me up after my physical in high school. And she said, honey.
you're anemic.
Your iron is low.
You need to get iron pills.
That's what the doctor told me.
Woke you up?
She woke me up from my slumber in bed when I was...
She had news.
And she said...
It made it sound like you, like, passed out or something.
No, no.
She woke me up from my slumber.
Yeah.
On a morning, a Friday morning.
And she said, honey?
Or was a Saturday morning?
I have horrible news.
She said, you're anemic.
I was actually, like, so excited.
What?
To have...
To what?
To have a problem?
No, because you know when you go to the doctor and everything's fine.
But then when you go and there's actually, you would like tell people they're like, well, actually, I'm anemic.
So you were just looking for some sympathy.
Actually, my iron's really low.
So if you could be a bit.
So watch what you say.
If you could be a bit kinder to me, I have to go pick up my iron pills, which by the way are not prescription.
You could just take them off the shelf.
So please watch what you say to me.
Well, hopefully you don't have any moments like that post getting your blood work back this time.
I'll let you guys know when my blood work comes back as this.
Because I know everybody's waiting at the edge of their seats.
You get woozy?
No, I don't.
I never have.
Knock on wood.
I never have either.
But recently, I start like.
Why do we find ourselves in these conversations all the time where it's like I mentioned that I got blood work and now it's like, let's talk about the fainting that comes with it?
Noah loves a follow-up question.
Yeah.
Anyways, I don't want to.
You do.
I don't want to bore people with.
The fact that I have a physical, but reminder, get your physical's done.
Because I'm sure there's a lot of people listening that are going, oh, fuck, I haven't gotten a physical in five years.
Yeah.
Get your physical.
And you know what they do?
They don't do anything in a physical.
They don't do shit out of physical.
If you get a physical without getting blood work, it's pointless.
They're not doing anything.
No, I mean, really, it's just, I feel like they do, they literally just, they look in your ears.
Yeah, they tap your knee.
knees. They feel you up. Right.
It's, they just do a little tap, tap, tap, tap.
Listen to your heart. Which I guess it's not pointless.
No, but you do feel like blood work means more.
Yeah, like if I went and didn't get blood work done.
Because that's really what you're feeling on the ins, it's like, that's coming from the inside.
Right. If I didn't get blood work done, I would have been like, that was pointless.
Well, thank God you did.
Yeah. Jumbled week. Yeah. It definitely was.
It's always, I don't know, because we're in the midst of traveling, but we have these kind of off week.
So off weeks, we're trying to get a lot of stuff done pre-travelling again.
But that was a good week.
I had a fantastic dinner Wednesday night.
There's a spot in Brooklyn.
It's called Mesaum Premiere.
So good.
Oh, it's just fantastic.
They have this back garden that is just serene.
I love a garden.
You feel like you're in Europe.
Like it is so, it's calming, it's green, it's like the real, like, cute little garden tables and stuff.
They put little blankets on each seat in case it gets, you know, a little chilly.
A bit nippy?
Yeah, yeah, big oyster bar.
They have a ton of different oysters.
So I just, like, had an oyster feast.
And apparently your favorite food's oysters.
Goes back and forth.
I'm a little afraid that I have to come to terms with the fact that I may have.
have some sort of shellfish intolerance.
I don't want to admit it,
but it's been a couple years now,
and I keep eating it.
Oysters, I'm normally okay.
Like my Wednesday night dinner, totally fine.
Had a dozen.
It was fine.
But I had some clams.
I think clams might just be different for me.
I had some clams on Monday.
Baked.
What type of clams?
Raw on the half shell.
I love little next.
Yes, I do too.
I love a baked clam.
I'm oregano.
But, you know, the last few times I've done that.
And even like over the summer in Martha Zuna, we'll get the clams, we'll cook them, we'll eat them.
It just doesn't sit well with my tummy.
I'm so sorry.
It really doesn't.
And I've been living in denial because I can't give up those foods.
I just love them so much.
So it's really a Russian roulette.
I sat down.
It's like super romantic.
Sat down and Joe was like, Joe, this could either, we could either have a great end to this
or I could be rushing out of here.
Really depends on how it goes.
But I think oysters are okay.
But the clams, I might have to take a break from clams.
Should we clarify why I rolled my eyes at the fact that oysters are your favorite food?
Oh, yeah.
Because of our New York show, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I always heard or what was told to me was that Francesca's favorite food was chicken
Frenchez. And so
at our New York show we played a little newlywed
game of who knows who better.
And the question was, what is
favorite food? And I wrote down Chicken Frances. And then
Fran wrote down Chicken Frances. And I was like,
boom, got it right.
And then Fran's friend stepped
in and we're like, no, her
favorite food is oysters. And I was like
never, have I ever heard that her favorite food was oysters? Now I know you
like oysters. I fucking love oysters, but I just
would never clarify them as my favorite
food. It's just like an act.
to me.
Oysters are a little taste.
Yes.
Like a meal.
You know?
I agree.
I do love oysters, but I would have still stuck with what we said.
Good.
Because they just know that I love like any rest.
You know, if I go to a restaurant, I know they got good oysters because I'm a little bit of an oyster snob.
I will get them.
No, it doesn't, doesn't.
I had oysters over the weekend.
No bad oysters for me.
Yeah, because we're spoiled because we're.
We get the good oysters.
But in Tampa, I had some, and they were good.
Where were they from?
I mean, I don't know.
We had it at the American social place we went to.
I like to ask.
I mean, they were good.
I feel like it's hard to not.
I just douse it in like all the stuff.
Yeah, well.
Then you just eliminate, you couldn't tell a good from a bad oyster anyway then.
It's really just a vessel for the sauce.
It is, but I, unless you go raw, I always, I always, I,
first oyster is always raw.
Wait, really?
You don't put anything on the first one you eat.
I also go raw.
I get the good taste.
I like that.
Better raw is the way to go.
Yeah.
Sometimes you got to protect.
Yeah.
But raw is usually the best.
He's looking at us like, I see what you're doing.
Oh, I know.
Taste.
I know what you're talking about.
Anyway, I had a lovely oyster dinner.
I'm so happy for us.
That was really the, that was really the,
That was the peak of my week.
That's great.
Yeah.
My gosh, I love a little peak.
I know.
I'm still waiting for the peak of mine.
It's coming.
I've had just like one of those like, ugh.
Yeah.
It's coming.
It'll be the weekend for you.
It will, which I love the weekend.
Yep.
Oh, well, actually I saw my parents for the first time in months and that was nice.
That's so nice.
They're back home.
Yeah.
I miss them.
I miss my mommy.
And I gave her like a nice big hug and it was so nice.
And Norman.
And Normie.
And I got to see Normie.
He's back.
And he's so freaking cute and he peed all over me because he was so excited to see me.
So actually there was a peak.
I'm being cynical.
There was a peak with seeing Norman and my parents.
And now that I'm talking about it, you know, the week hasn't been so bad.
Besides the whole hand thing.
Yeah, I had like a weird.
That was like the only thing was just like a weird thing that happened with my hand.
And then I got blood work done.
And I'm just harbick on that for whatever reason.
But you know what?
Now I'm looking back, a pretty good week.
Yeah.
I'm ready for the weekend.
I'm excited for the summer. I'm so excited for the summer. And we have a couple of more trips.
We are going to Denver next week. Yep.
Minneapolis the week after. Yeah. And then L.A. the week after that.
Yeah. So we got a lot of travel. And I think that's why we're all feeling jumbled.
Totally. Is we are flying, coming back, flying, coming back like week after week after week.
I know. We can't get settled. And then even by the time we come back from that, it's almost vacation time.
I can't freaking wait.
No offense to you guys.
Oh no, it's, I completely understand.
I can't get away.
Can't get away fast enough.
I cannot wait for vacation.
Yeah.
Believe me, I feel you.
It's my favorite week of the year, specifically this week.
Same.
The July 4th week when the office is closed.
It's the best week of the year.
I'll be in the Cape.
Start sending out DMs now to make sure you can get into all the bars.
People, anyone listening who's on the Cape.
Connections.
Right. It's actually sooner. So he doesn't have to post on Instagram again. Sooner than we think. Yeah, it is. It's actually very soon. My dad said, my dad texted us in the group wrote 30 days with the picture. He's very excited. I'm going on a surprise trip. I don't know where. We'll see. We are in for a treat, ladies and gentlemen. Yes, we are. So things are great.
Couldn't be better. Things are looking up.
God, I'm going to check the portal after this to check my blood work. Okay. You should.
Like your college admissions logging in.
We'll be standing behind you while you look at your laptop, rubbing your shoulders.
Well, I think it's, I, here's the thing I like say to myself like, oh, don't talk about it too much on the podcast.
Like people don't want to hear about you going to the doctor, which is just like we talk three times a week.
People listen to us three times a week.
Just like the people listening go to the doctor sometime.
We also sometimes go to the doctor.
and then we talk so it's like what did I do this week I went to the doctor which is not very exciting
so then I do not need to explain yourself sometimes you over over you over not over explain you
you feel like you have to give yourself yeah you over justify like talking about yourself it's literally
your job I know but sometimes people are mean okay yeah but then so many people are also love it so it's
that's true you know got to think about the people I love it so you don't have to over like right
was like, you know what, I'm not going to talk about this, but then I started talking about it
because it's what happened this week. Anyways, I convinced everyone and myself that I was dying
this week. I'm not. You're definitely not. You're going to be okay. I had a spasm in my hand.
Genuinely, it was so weird, but don't DM me and diagnose me with anything, please. That's another
reason why I didn't want to talk about it. I was going to say, did we not talk about this on Tuesday? No, we didn't, I didn't mention it on
Tuesday because in my head. It was too fresh. It was too fresh. And I also,
was like, I don't want people diagnosing me with anything.
Because you know when you bring something up and automatically people are like, oh my God,
not to scare you, but this is what happened to me.
And this is what happened to me. And this is what happened to scare you, but I heard.
Yeah.
This happened.
Like, and they tell you a story that they heard.
That isn't even a firsthand story.
And that is so scary.
And it's like, don't, for the love of God, do not DM me with any stories that have
to do with this police.
I do not need to scare myself further than I did.
Yep.
But I had a very weird spasm.
Yep.
in my hands and I couldn't move my fingers, two of my fingers.
And it was very weird.
And I went and I went to urgent care and urgent care doctor didn't give a fuck about me.
And she was like, I don't know.
I think your tendon shifted and then shifted back, maybe from working out or something.
And then she was like, or it could be an autoimmune thing.
And I was like, oh, those are two wildly different things.
But thankfully, I had the physical already scheduled with the blood work the day.
after. So I was like, oh, this is great. I'll just
see my blood work. I'll see that I'm fine.
But obviously, I came into work
after I went to urgent care and was like, guys,
I had a spasm in my hand, and I'm convinced I'm dying.
And you were nice enough to tell me I wasn't.
Absolutely not. And I'm here to tell the tale.
You are here to tell the tale. That's why I said a few days
removed. Let the dust settle. It was too fresh on Tuesday when I walked in.
It was definitely too fresh. All right, let's get into the topics.
Yes. Good show. Yes, it is a great show.
Great show. We have a fantastic
interview with Simon Huck, who is just
a treat. Love him so much.
I love making new friends. Same.
He's just, he's a doll, and he came in
and we could have talked forever with him. He feels like a real
life new friend. And he'll be back.
We are also going to talk about
Kylie Jenner and Timothy Shalmay
pictures actually of them together.
Al Pacino, that dirty dog
is having a kid
with a 29-year-old model.
Yep. Legend.
And we have
our weekly watcher.
Or we talk about everything we watch this week.
Yes, that's what it is.
All right, let's get into the topics.
As you guys can tell, we are absolutely loving Express.
We are loving our outfits from Express.
We are fully dressed and expressed today.
I have this whole pink little fit on.
It's a tube top.
It's a, you know, boyfriend, Portofino shirt.
Yes, we're wearing the same shirt.
Yes, we are.
We are both dressed in Express.
Fran has the cutest heels on from a
Express right now. They have the cutest clothes all summer long. Every season, we are absolutely
loving it. You also can shop their body contour, you know, tank tops, their t-shirts. I got a white
tank top that I love. You can't go wrong with a classic white tank top. That's a good go-to for the
summer. I know. I'm excited to have that. Their denim is also great. Like I'm wearing their jeans shorts,
love their jeans shorts. I got the jeans previously. Really, really underrated good denim. Right. And I
love their jeans too because I always talk about how hard it is to find jeans that fit my height
and everything and they have the best genes that I'm loving right now. I actually wore mine yesterday
and I got some compliments on it and I was very happy because I struggle with my jeans but not with Express.
They also have great dresses. I ordered such a cute like vacation dress from Express that I wish
I could wear into the office but I think I could. I could but I have to save it for vacation like a wow
moment. So I'm so excited about that. And you guys can shop Express too. They're always running amazing
sales. But I'm excited that we have a code. You can use Code Chicks for 10% off your online order
that you can use in addition to the deals Express already has running. That's 10% off at express.com
with code chicks. Check it out, guys. I also really good, you know I love a monochrome and you're
rocking it right now. I'll do a little. Good. Yeah. A good monochrome moment.
is so easy and like you look so put together when you do it love it so cute
off the shoulder yes she's modeling for everybody listening and can't see it but definitely
definitely great and even just like these big oversized blouses I just love because you can
toss them over anything so comfy chilly in the studio exactly and it's perfect and I got you know
a lot I've been getting a lot of compliments on these heels so they really have it all it's like
Faria said, code checks 10% off.
All right, let's get into the topics.
Timothy Salomey and Kylie Jenner, we finally have pictures of them together.
Got him.
We snapped them.
I saw in Dumois that they were like apparently in Budapest together.
And so I was like, huh.
Interesting.
Interesting.
I thought that maybe this would have fell off.
Filming something?
I don't know, but they are apparently still going strong because.
Where was he filming Dune?
Maybe Budapest.
And he hopped on her jet and was like, hey,
Can we carpool?
Yep.
And, but we got a picture of them together for the first time.
Very far away.
Yeah.
Honestly, like, these could be from a fucking helicopter.
Like, these could be, they're blurry enough where I'm like, the technology we have these
days is so advanced that for a picture to still be that blurry has to be really
fucking far away.
So they were photographed together for the first time, mingling with each other's relatives
at a barbecue early.
this month. So it's June 1st, which means you can't really get earlier than this month. So I'm
assuming maybe earlyish May time or mid-May somewhere around there. They were also with Kendall and
Pauline Shalame from Sex Lives of Cultural Fame, if you guys watch that. And this is just a very
blurry photo of them standing next to each other in tied.
die. They're in both
in Thai die.
Tie die.
And, uh, or at least in this picture, it looks like they are.
And the other ones, it's, it's kind of, it's kind of mixed.
But that's it.
You can't really see anything else. But here is actual physical proof that our eyes can
see of them being at the same place at the same time and hanging out together with their
fans. Yep. And they are together.
Kylie Jonah and Jim B'Sallamey. Going strong. A couple months now.
Yeah.
An insider recently tried to downplay
This is which page 6 wrote.
An insider recently tried to downplay the sparks between
Kylie and Timothy claiming in April
that they are quote, not serious.
But it appears that things have heated up.
Kylie and Timothy have reportedly been spending
every day together.
Wow.
Serious.
Yeah.
Yep.
According to Paps who have been following the pair for weeks,
Jesus, that's annoying.
That she has been staying at his
mansion upwards of six days a week.
Where are the kids?
That feels like that can't be true.
That can't.
That can't be true.
That cannot be true.
But they've reportedly been spotted out on a coffee date and routinely working out together.
Timothy Shalamey's stepfather to stormy.
And air.
Yeah.
I forgot.
Imagine Timothy Shalamey as a stepfather.
I just can't picture it.
I couldn't picture it with Pete Davidson, but it has.
happened eventually. You're right. I don't, you know, happy that these two are still seeing
each other. I guess when you're the stepfather, like there's a lot less responsibility on you than like
being the mother or father. A lot. The kids are also so young, they might not even know this guy
exists right now. Yeah. You know? I'm sure. Like if she's always hanging out with him. At his house. At his
mansion. Exactly. Moving on to his mansion. Yeah, his mansion. Moving on to Al Pacino.
Freakin dirty dog.
What's with these guys?
These old dirty sick men.
Freaking.
These snip, snip.
These perverted men can't stop fucking.
Honestly, good for them, but at the same time, stop having kids.
Like, because it's honestly unfair to the child.
No, it's ridiculous.
I saw a very funny picture of Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.
Right?
Robert De Niro is the one who.
Yes.
It was a picture of them and the, it said, the disgusting brothers.
Oh my God.
just them with their arms around each other,
which is just so funny
and so true because
these dirty dogs,
their sperm is still
alive and well, and they are
implementing seeds into people
and having children at a very old age
in which their kid will not
really know them. Yeah.
I feel like with De Niro,
it may have been, they're selling
it as more of like a plan thing.
Al Pacino.
Sure.
Al Pacino feels like not so planned, page six reported that he allegedly asked for a paternity test because he thought that he had some kind of medical issue.
Al Pacino reportedly didn't think he could get nor Alfala.
That was his girlfriend.
I think they're still together maybe.
Pregnant because of a medical issue that typically causes infertility.
Sources close to the situation claimed that Pacino 83 didn't believe he was able to.
to impregnate his 29-year-old girlfriend
or anyone else for that matter
and demanded she got a paternity test
to prove the child was his.
He's about to be 90 years old.
This 90-year-old man.
And seven years.
The Scarface...
No, he's 89.
He's 83.
He's 83. 83. Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.
Anyways.
Anyway. 83-year-old man?
Yeah.
What's the big diff?
You know, if we...
If we are following what the trail that they're leading here,
like if we are believing the story that is being told,
this guy is probably having sex willy-nilly free because he thought he couldn't.
Literally, he couldn't get anybody pregnant anymore or maybe there was he really, you know,
what happened?
And then bam.
He's just fucking.
Still have that drive?
Apparently, older men, I think have a strong drive.
They make all those jokes about
They get dirtier
About, you know, the retirement homes
Pass around all those STDs and things
Because everybody's having sex
Like my, like
Nano
Nano's got a little dirty dog in him
Nano has a dog in him
Yeah
He does
I'm telling you
Some grandpas get
Yeah
More perverted
Well see the thing is
It's just if they stay in their age bracket
Then it really is
physically impossible for that to happen.
But when they go so much younger,
an 83-year-old man,
fucking a 29-year-old.
Let me tell you something.
I saw 29 and was like, that's me.
Literally, imagine you having sex with Al Pacino.
It is just, would you, if you were single
and Al Pacino, like, was like, hey, no.
Baby, no.
What age, what is your cutoff?
No.
With someone like Al Pacino.
It's Al Pacino.
No. I'm trying to sell you.
I wouldn't either.
No.
No.
There's no one in there.
I don't even want to know what it looks like.
What's going on at that age?
I don't want to know until I have to find out when I'm old and he's old together.
Yeah.
Because I've wondered that like what an 83 year old dick looks like.
No, I would prefer not to know.
I would really prefer not to know.
I'm sorry.
Don't clip any of this.
He's apparently, he was apparently shocked.
He had no idea.
She was expecting until two months ago.
And he is now welcoming his fourth child.
Dude, Dick's age with the man.
I'm assuming they get smaller.
I'm pretty sure.
Oh, you think they, like, shrivel up.
I think so.
Pretty sure.
Like, you physically shrink.
I got this girl.
I hope butchino has gotten shorter and shorter.
This girl has a...
And his dick is getting small and smaller, but it's real powerful.
She dated McJaggers.
Sorry.
What?
And how old was...
Wait, that was the friend of the girl.
Remember, she's like, he's not a gold digger.
She just likes old people.
Yeah.
She's not a gold digger.
She just eats the most famous men to ever exist.
Al Pacino, Mick Jagger.
But Mick Jagger, for some...
He's like the same age, but, like, looks wise.
I see it.
One source revealed, she mostly dates very rich older men.
She has been with Al for some time and they get on very well.
The age gap doesn't seem to be a problem, even though he is older than her father.
Yeah, so she's not a gold digger.
She's just dating older men who are, like,
about to croak so that she can secure the bag.
But no, she's not a gold digger.
It's like, do you really like that?
83-year-old dick?
So this is the page 6 article from last night.
She allegedly just loves old people.
That's the headline.
Everyone loves old people, not like that.
Not enough to bang them.
She's a good girl with an old soul, but she has a spirit that is very youthful.
She is fun.
A guy in his 70s or 80s would feel young around her.
She has a generosity of spirit.
She has dated, she has a history of befriending older rich men like Mc Jagger,
billionaire Nicholas Bergruen.
Oh, so she doesn't discriminate.
She likes billionaires too.
Yeah.
How does she, like, how do you meet Mick Jagger?
How do you meet Al Pacino?
But apparently she has family money herself.
So she's not even a gold digger.
How do I meet these guys?
She allegedly already has money.
This is what this says.
If Al Pacino asked you to blow him, would you do it?
No.
No.
Like out of all the guys that like someone would say yes to, like Alpa, why would I like.
Because imagine.
Why?
What do I have to gain from that?
And being like, I blue Al Pacino.
What do I, what do I get from that?
Laughs.
A story?
A good story?
No, that's not like, it's not like Harry Styles.
It's like.
He threw out another name.
Well, I'm just saying like, that's a story.
It's like.
You blew
Al Pacino's almost
funnier though
Because he's so old
That's gross
No offense to Al
But
Like
She's also
She's also been seen
With Clint Deaswood
Brett
Although she made clear
In 2019
That there was
Nothing romantic going on there
We're just friends
She just really
likes to hang out
With old people
She's telling you guys

There are so many
Examples of old men
That she's hanging out with
She just likes
What about me
and Marilyn Street?
Restaurant Tour
Michael Chow
of Mr. Chow, 84, is a family friend
and often seen with her in photos.
Who's like an old woman that I could...
Susan Sarandon.
She just really fucking likes old men.
Martha Stewart?
Martha Stewart.
Martha Stewart.
Bangs.
Martha Stewart?
Martha Stewart would...
Martha Stewart would rock your world.
I couldn't handle Martha.
You could.
You could not handle all that.
What about Merrill Street?
I just said that.
Merrill Street?
Is she married?
Yes.
Hmm.
who's like a widow
widower?
That's going to stop you?
What is it?
Well, it's just like, yeah.
Out of respect.
That's very respectful.
I'm not, she's not going to be open to it.
What about, is there any,
never mind.
I'm typing old single actresses.
Oh boy.
No, but because you know you'd bang them.
It's just more like Al Pacino or Robert Tener.
Sharon Stone is hot.
She looks great.
Dyington is hot.
Yeah.
I mean, these are all phenomenally beautiful women.
Jane Fonda.
You'd be lucky to get any of them.
Jane Fonda, you'd be for a ride.
85 years old, Jane Fonda.
You would be.
I would.
I would.
I just can't believe that, I mean,
what's also kind of crazy about Al Pacino is he really does,
like his other three kids are still relatively young.
Like he is a 33-year-old and then 22-year-olds, they're twins.
I hope they don't hear this.
Well, I'm just saying, like, it's crazy that.
that, you know, he's 83.
So he was already getting on a little bit on the older side.
33 is not crazy, but he's got 22.
He's like in his 50s when he had his first kids.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And because you were saying like, I'm like, this could,
this could be your grandfather.
This is like not even, because it's 29 year old than 83 year old.
It's like not even to the point where it's like, oh, she's older than my dad.
It's like, no, she could be older than your grandfather.
That's the, that's the gap we're having here.
It's got to be so weird for the 30-year-old to be like, now I have a brother or sister that's an infant.
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know.
I can't speak on that experience on what that feels like.
Yeah, and your stepmom is, well, they're not married, but.
I mean, hey, some families make it work.
Look at the fosters.
That is true.
Anyways, disgusting.
Absolutely bizarre.
Yeah, very bizarre.
Very bizarre.
are. I don't know why it just, and it's like, things happen in three is, who's next?
What, guess, guess who's the next old actor? Robert De Niro, Al Pacino. Joe Pesci?
Like, Scorsese going to have a baby? One of them. Just thinking about some horny old Italian
guy now. Jack Nicholson, he's back in the limelight. No, I don't. I don't know. I don't know.
Who's to say? I would like it not to happen.

All right. Let's get into the weekly watch report where we talk about things we watched this week.
Didn't watch much. I just have a couple new things.
Let me get my list out. I watch SmartList on the road on HBO Max, or just Max. Sorry.
Loved it.
God, please correct yourself. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Absolutely loved it. None of you would answer.
my text about it. The amount of times I texted and nobody answered me. Okay, here was my thing with that.
You were talking about a show that none of us have watched, like in detail. I had nothing to say to relate to it because I was like,
I don't even know. I've not seen it. I wasn't talking about it in detail, though. I was saying,
oh my God, you guys need to watch this. It's so relatable to us, blah, blah, blah. And nobody was like,
oh, yeah, I'm going to watch or, oh, that sounds interesting. Nobody answered me, which by the way, it was great.
it was awesome.
The whole thing, I'll actually, I'm going to give it a B plus
because it was all in black and white.
And it was fine until I thought, oh,
was that a choice.
I guess that was a choice.
I didn't realize at first until I thought,
oh, this isn't black and white,
and then it couldn't leave my brain.
Yeah.
So that happened.
That's an interesting choice.
But it just really reminded me of us, guys.
It was about them taking the podcast on the road,
behind the scenes of them traveling,
staying in the hotel room together,
talking about the show, eating,
just literally what we do.
And I was like, oh my God, we are Jason Bateman,
Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes.
Like, we're them.
And they are us.
And they are so famous.
And they still get nervous.
They still bomb.
They had a show where people literally got up and left.
And they were like, it was hilarious.
So their reaction to it after.
Them seeing their names on the marquee.
They're like, oh, that's our names.
I'm like, oh, my God.
How relatable.
How relatable.
I've never been able to relate to these guys.
You know?
Yeah.
It just was so cute.
And then Sean Hayes was like, you know, I sometimes have this feeling like I just don't know.
I don't feel like I deserve this.
And I'm like, oh, you're so famous and successful.
And you feel that way?
Like, it's crazy.
They're all so funny.
They are very funny.
Jason Bateman has some issues, I'll say.
He's very funny.
But my God, he won't get off.
case about what they're eating, what he's eating, constantly, constantly. And they show it in the
documentary. I can't hang around people like that. No, and it's bad. And then Will Arnett was like,
my body dysmorphia is at an all-time high with the help of my friend Jason Bateman. Like,
it was, it was real, but it was very funny. I didn't know he was like that. Oh my God. Oh my God.
He also like OCD like has to shower after every single time he poops. Every single time he has to
take a shower.
What?
Wow.
It's actually,
it's great.
It's great.
It is.
They were like,
they were like, dude,
sometimes people go
and they don't shower right after.
And he's like,
I know.
What does he do if he's like out?
I don't,
you got to just watch it.
It was very interesting
to see how they act.
Sean Hayes is just like
the cutest person.
Like I just,
like a delight.
He's such a delight.
They're fun.
They had great guests.
So do you know the premise
of their podcast?
Yes.
I didn't understand the premise
until I watched.
that they both, one person surprises the other two of the guests.
I had no idea about any of this.
And it's like something that they know nothing about.
Or sometimes they do, but they do it, they did it for the live shows too.
So they have a huge guest come and two of them don't know who it is.
And so they had some huge guests and then they had.
Who was it?
There was Matt Damon.
That's a big one.
That's a big, that's a big guest.
The one where they flubbed was Jason Bateman brought a physicist.
Is that the one?
and snooze fest
Oh, if I was at that life, I'd be like, fuck this.
And the person before that, I think it was
Conan O'Brien, because they do two shows in one night.
Yeah, I'd have to imagine you get Matt Damon
your pumped if you get a physicist, you're not...
So it's Conan O'Brien, and then people were leaving,
people were yawning, and they were like,
we really fucked that up.
But they had Kevin Hart, they had...
Jason's got to be a little smarter than that.
Bradley Cooper popped in, Jennifer Aniston,
like all these huge names.
And they realized like towards the end of the show, like towards the end of the tour, they were like, we know who we have to like stick to now.
You need the star appeal.
I mean, it works for a podcast.
Right.
One of them they had AOC and that was obviously mixed reviews, which I would say if you're doing like a surprise guest at a live show, you probably stay away from any political figures because it's going to be split.
Like you're going to some of your guests aren't going to like it.
Some are going to love it.
So I think they like realized towards the, like whatever.
but it was so interesting and they're all so funny.
They got a fan.
Imagine I was like, all right, we have a guest.
It was no, it was so cool.
Such a good idea.
I was like, wow, that's so fun.
So I want to give that a B plus.
I very much enjoyed it.
And maybe you guys will watch now.
Maybe not.
Maybe.
Got.
You would love it.
I think I probably would.
You would love it, actually.
I'll watch it.
It was very good.
I watched the Bama Rush documentary.
Thumbs down.
Thumbs downerunee.
Thumbs down aruskies.
Yeah.
Huge thumby downy.
Hated it.
Thumbs down.
You said it was really boring.
Yeah, snooze.
Snooze fest.
Yeah.
They must not have been able to really get any of the juicy stuff, you know?
Nothing.
And I don't want to take away.
There was some things discussed on the documentary, which I'm not taking away from.
that were important topics.
I'm not going to talk about them, though,
because it was not what I was expecting in a documentary,
and I thought it was a huge thumbs down.
D minus.
Now people may say I'm rude for that because of things that were discussed in the documentary,
alopecia and such, which is a serious topic,
and I obviously feel for anybody who has to go through that.
But I don't understand.
I thought I was getting something so different.
Yeah.
I think from the way that everyone has interpreted Bama Rush from TikTok and seeing those videos and everything felt like there was going to be more of a and I don't I'm also like speaking on something that I did not watch but I'm assuming that it was going to be a little bit more like drama juicy driven.
Yeah, I didn't even finish it.
I almost did.
So I consider that watching the whole thing because I almost finished it,
but I just was like, I'm turning this off now because this is a snoo's best to me.
So thumbs down a Rooney.
Thumbs down Rooney.
Succession.
Disgust.
A minus.
Okay.
Oh.
I could have been an A plus if he killed himself.
I'm sorry.
I feel like I've been too graphic today.
Fun.
All right.
Anyways.
A minus for me.
Yep.
Still very good.
Yep.
Yeah, I feel like we really flushed that one out.
Real House House of New Jersey.
Reunion.
A.
These ladies, man.
What is going to happen?
I have no idea.
I'm so locked in.
I just like the, it just feels like, it feels me, not mean to say, but it just
feels like we, the tension between the families has just,
been building for so long that it was bound to explode in some way and now it really feels like
they're letting it fly they're saying shit but for the sweet love of god we need to stop talking about
how Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga got on this show it has been so long I'm like Teresa just
that's my biggest thing with Teresa I'm personally I you know Melissa or Teresa is like the biggest
divide in Bravo right now. There's some people who ride so hard for Teresa,
rides so hard for Melissa. I just cannot
deal with the same things over and over and over again from Teresa.
I just, I'm, I'm over it. I do not care to watch the same fight happen again and again,
and again, like where they argue about how they ended up on the show. And Melissa and Joe
say the same thing over. Teresa says that they never, there's no like winning these battles
with them. It's crazy, but
I'm interested to see what happens when they bring Louis out
because it felt like episode one was feisty but was still a little tame.
They didn't fully get into it. They tried to get like the other cast members
their moment first. It was like, oh, let's figure out Rachel and Danielle's thing.
Let's talk about Dolores and Polly. And then they'll bring in the big guns when Joe and
Louis come out. Yeah, it's going to get real feisty. Did you see Bo Diedel?
posted a video on his social saying that he was never hired by Louis.
No.
So Bo Dietl's like he was a Manhattan detective, I think, like very high up guy now runs
like private security, private investigating, all those things.
And Louis dropped his name in the finale?
I guess it was, yeah, where he was like, I got, you know, Bo Diedel, like, good,
Those things on everybody.
So basically insinuating that he hired Bo Dietle.
And then he backtracked.
Like on Watcher Happens Live and now this, he's like,
oh, I didn't hire Bo Duttle.
I just said that.
And everyone was like, what the fuck are you talking about?
So now everybody on the reunion is saying that they were all contacted
or somebody was looking into their lives and they think it was because of Louie.
But then Bo Dental himself, the man himself went online.
It was like, I've never been hired by Louis.
but like fucking keep my name out of your mouth kind of thing.
Like I have a legit business.
So it's all pretty crazy.
That guy, how many times can I say it?
Do not trust him.
Neither do I.
Do not believe a word that comes out of his mouth.
I think it's going to get even better, but I'm giving it an A.
I agree.
Vanderpump reunion.
I'm going to give a B minus this time around.
We're taking a while to get to Raquel on stage.
We get it.
Bring her out.
let's get to the juicy part
which is going to be part three
and also we know everything by now
so I think it's just like kind of like
losing it's like luster a little bit
which is kind of sad to say about like
a very serious situation
but I'm giving it a B minus
because I did feel for Sheena
though I do feel very bad for her honestly
like she seemed like she
you know is really obviously
Ariana is very good by this the most
but like to lose your friend
or somebody you thought was a really good friend
is probably very upsetting and somebody you trust it
in your house and then you're like, oh my God, I trusted this stranger in my house.
And then restraining order.
Yeah, restraining order.
It's just so bizarre.
But I'm going to give that a B minus.
And that's, uh, Raquel, by the way, Raquel had many moments in the second part of the
reunion where I was just like, there's, there's, what is going on?
Like, there's something else here.
Like, that is just the lack of remorse, the lack of acknowledging really the extreme, like
the emotions, the extreme emotions.
she's just like dead in the face
I don't understand
and not even talking to Andy
she's smiling like
she's smiling
a lot and I understand people smile
and they get nervous but like something like this
like no I don't really know how that
could come out just
deadpan nothing going on
watching and like you would think maybe
watching Sheena
break down like that as somebody you are
supposedly best friends with
would affect you emotionally in some
way her like nothing on her
Like I cannot imagine watching my best friend sobbing her eyes out
because of something that I did and not cry myself.
Even if I know, like even like I shouldn't be,
nobody should be feeling bad for me but like crime because you feel bad about what you did.
She goes, I'm really rethinking.
Maybe I should have written Sheena handwritten letter.
Like there's nothing going on in her brain.
It's actually concerning.
Yeah, yeah.
And then Tom wanting to talk off camera.
And the guy's like, no, we can't.
Shut the fuck up, Tom.
It's like, all right, Tom, so you could tell more lies.
Yeah. Oriana.
She can strategize with Raquel off camera.
But Stanvall said, I don't, he goes, I don't grab random, like, girls' asses.
And Ariana goes, no, you just fuck him.
You just fuck my best friend.
Genuinely, like, it's just a perfect comeback every time.
Because anything he says, you're just like, oh, oh, oh, you're such a good guy, Tom,
but you fucked her best friend.
Like, there's no excuse.
But that's, yeah.
That's everything I watched.
Yep. Did you watch Summerhouse reunion?
No, I've kind of fallen off with Summer House genuinely because they stress me out.
Well, honestly, I feel stressed out watching it.
I feel almost too close to Summer House.
That makes sense?
No, I get that.
I feel like we know them.
Yeah.
And not that we're like the best of friends, you know.
But I just am like, I can't even watch these people on TV because I don't want to end up like, you know, I can't explain it.
Like, I just, I don't.
Bless you.
I'm like, I don't even want to have thoughts about these people because, you know.
Yeah.
No, I get what you were saying sometimes when you are close to people on reality TV.
It's hard to watch from a regular reality TV landscape.
But I also think sometimes it makes me watch in a less critical way because I'm like, oh, I'm really judging harshly.
And, oh, it goes back and forth.
But anyway, the Summer House reunion has been very intense.
And it just feels like they are, it just feels like this is the end of a lot of
relationships where it's just like, these people just end of the day do not like each other.
Another thing, not just what I just said about Summerhouse, because honestly I could watch
any reality TV.
It's more just like I could see a lot of different sides when it comes to Summerhouse.
And that I'm having a problem with where I'm like, I'm not just on one side for Summerhouse.
I could see bits and pieces from everybody's side and understand everybody a little bit,
which is why I'm just like, oh, let them hash them out because I don't know.
Yeah.
No, I agree.
I think, I mean, from my viewer standpoint, I have really loved to see Paige kind of voice her opinion on what she thinks.
Whether you agree with her or disagree with her, I tend to agree with her.
that is it's something that I feel like we haven't seen it's like clearly like talk it all out
it's it's happening um and yeah I guess I guess that's really I watch the summerhouse reunion so I'll go on to
my I'll start with that I'll give that a I'll give that a B I'll give Van der Pump a B and I'll give
real house was in New Jersey and a minus and and
what else did I watch?
Okay, so I started
I started the ultimatum
queer love on Netflix
and I am
I think I'm almost all the way caught up
but
good drama
entertaining
I think it's
has me locked in
and
I also just like love
seeing a different type of show like this
on Netflix is getting a lot of
viewers because it's important and it's also like it is good draw it's a good show good TV I like I said
really locked in there's some people on here that I'm just like I gotta watch it's yeah they're just
there's just one girl Vanessa that I'm just like I can and there's another girl Lexi feels like
she can like see right through her and I kind of can too she's just that person that no
that she can manipulate people, anybody.
She could manipulate anybody.
Like there was a moment where she was with her ex.
And her ex is having issues with her, you know,
when they did the trial marriage with other people.
Her ex really liked the person she was with.
So Vanessa comes like crawling back and Xander's voicing an opinion.
and Vanessa's like, let me just, can I just sit on your lap?
It's just like, she just knows how to weasel around and it's very, very entertaining.
I do feel like, I don't know, I kind of feel like a lot of the couples are going to end up back with their original partners or breakup.
Like, I don't know if there's going to be any pairing, new pairing.
Yeah.
I have to watch.
But I've been very thoroughly entertained.
I'll give that a,
I'll give that a B plus.
I've been locked in for sure.
And then,
that's honestly kind of been it.
Bravo stuff.
I mean, I've,
I've been finishing my network programs.
So Chicago,
all the Chicago shows came to their,
Final moment, I think.
I couldn't tell if it was the finale or not.
My problem with the network shows that I watch is because I don't see the, I'm always watching later.
So it's not like, I don't see the promos where it's like on next week's finale or anything like that.
I'm just kind of keep watching.
I think they were the finale.
I could be totally wrong.
There could be other things, but it felt very finale-s to me.
There's just like some characters that are leaving and stories that are ending.
But it was good.
No need to great, but I've finished all of those.
And I'm trying to think if I watched a movie.
I did not.
And we were away this weekend.
And yeah, that's really it.
How about you, Noah?
I don't have too much, but I watched the finale of love and death on HBO.
Oh, I didn't give Succession a grade.
I'll give it a, I'll give it a A.
and I didn't love the ending honestly
I mean that's how it ended in real life I guess
but I was just like
I'm like I don't know if I could rewrite history
I was really excited about the first few episodes
and I kind of just went down from there
so I'll give it a C plus
I watched Dave
not the finale that aired yesterday
but episode nine
and it actually was way better than
it wasn't like oh famous people
It was just like a good episode.
I'll give that a B plus.
Succession finale.
I'll give an A plus.
Like, they deserved it.
Put in four good seasons.
Great finale.
Thought it wrapped up very well.
We talked about it.
Barry finale, given A.
Solid show, too.
Like, I think both of you should continue watching that and start it.
I don't think you will.
Maybe.
Have you heard of this show, Platonic?
on Apple TV, Seth Rogen and Roseburn.
It's funny and it's good.
They have very good banter.
I mean, they made multiple neighbors movies.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, that's true.
Yeah.
But this is good.
It's good, solid.
It's an easy watch.
Yeah, I want to jump into that.
I've been seeing it.
Oh, well, God, you know, sorry everyone.
I really got it.
I'm always like, write things down.
And then I forget, and I should be writing things down.
I see it every time I go watch Ted Lassow.
Because Ted Lassow is always one and then Platonic is always two.
Yeah, but that's good.
I'll give that a B plus.
I watched the first three episodes and solid, easy.
And then Vanderpump, the part two, I'll give a B plus.
Like, I just, it's just entertaining.
I didn't even watch the first.
They just jumped in for the reunion.
I don't think you've watched any Vanderpump.
I've never watched any Vanderpump.
I didn't watch.
I think this is the first episode of Vanderpump you've ever watched.
It is.
I didn't even watch the first part.
I just had clips.
But Tom Sandvall is just such an insane person that it's just so funny to me.
He really is.
Like, that's, I just can't.
get over that scene where he's like, get the camera out of my feeling.
It's like you're here to record the reunion.
Like this is what they're doing for everyone.
It's insane.
I know, I know.
My fine, I will say one thing about Ted Lassow.
And I felt like I've seen a lot of this opinion being thrown around online is that
this last season just felt a little wonky.
Shared by Jason Sedakas.
Yeah, apparently.
Apparently.
By liking all those tweets.
Yeah.
But I've only, I haven't finished the whole thing.
I know that the finale is out.
I have watched seven episodes.
So up through now seven episodes.
I'll give it a, I'll give it a, I'll give it a C plus.
Because I think that's, you know, 70s-ish.
I just, it feels like it has lost its way a little bit.
Just because there's a lot of overlapping storylines and it doesn't feel very
consistent and it's kind of always been like that like focusing on one character and
whatnot but it always felt like it intertwined well and came back together and this is just less
and honestly it's like less from what I from up until episode seven it's just like less
Ted Lassow himself I don't know it just I don't I'm I'm a little confused with where they
are going to end this whole situation but
There are great moments.
There's bad moments.
Like that first season felt like almost entirely all great, funny moments.
And this is definitely mixed in with like not as good ones.
But I'll finish it.
Okay, sorry, that's actually the last thing I have.
Why are you apologizing?
No, because that was for me jumping back in, you know?
All right.
Those are the things we watch this week.

Noah just did a little summer trip.
I feel like a lot of people in New York can relate to this.
They want to get out of the city on the weekends.
Nobody has a car here because it's a massive inconvenience.
But you can book a car with Turro for when you need it, which is what Noah did and he loved it.
I was looking last night actually at Turro scrolling because I might be using Turro to go to Saratoga to see the dent company place.
So shout out Turro.
There you go.
So for all you young people in the city who, you know, looking for a car, great thing to check out.
every trip is backed by liability insurance, terms, conditions, and exclusions apply.
Find your drive for get boring rental cars at turro.com.
All right, everyone, we are here with a very special guest.
We are joined by the lovely Simon Huck.
I asked him, what do you want to be introduced as?
Because you really do it all.
I say PR guru, France said entrepreneur, husband.
I said husband.
Traveler, businessman.
You really, you cover it all.
Thank you.
I'm so excited to be here. I'm such a fan of you guys.
We're so excited because, you know, we obviously know exactly who you are and have followed your life for a long time.
And when we all connected via Instagram, Re and I were like, he wants to talk to us.
I was like, we were so flattered.
I creeped you both. I was like, I was creeping in your stories. Yeah. No, I'm such a fan. I'm very excited.
Thank you for, thank you for being here. Yes. Thank you so much. It's funny. I'm very good friends with Emma from
comments by celebs and I texted her two days ago and I was like Simon's coming in and she was like two things you need to know about him. He's the fastest texter in the world. Like there is nobody who will respond faster to a text than him and he also had the best wedding ever. Oh my God. She's so kind. Okay, the wedding was insane. I did too. And I am. I hook up my phone to my laptop. Yeah. So I am rapid fire all day long on text. I can't stop myself. Do you ever get tired?
Yeah, that's a good way to be.
It is.
No, I don't get tired.
I really, like, during the day, I really like to be on it because there's so much stuff
going on between the businesses and personal stuff.
So, no, I'm also on Instagram, DM, like, bye.
Like, I'm the fastest response.
Do you feel like if you don't answer right away, you just, you'll forget about it?
Like, that's how I feel sometimes.
I'm like, if I don't answer right now, I'm never answering.
Yeah, there's a little bit of anxiety around that.
And also, I just like, it's like this OCD where I'm like.
like clear the box, clear the box. Yeah. When I get a DM from you, I'm excited. Like I love you.
I love you more. I posted a story about how I stopped smoking weed and I was shocked when you were
in there. Oh, you were like, oh my gosh, I relate to this so much. I was like, what? No, I was Pablo
Escobar. I smoked for 16 years every day and then I realized that it was like affecting my sleep.
I was groggy during the day. And I went cold turkey. And it was really,
really, really hard. Like, people are like, oh, it's not addictive. No, no, no. It's addictive.
And I also thought, like, I was so fun when I smoked. I was so light. Like, alcohol makes you feel a
certain way. And it took me six months. How long did it take you to quit? Literally one day,
I just stopped. You just stopped. I freaked out. You know, everyone always says, and I'm sure you
heard this too, because I smoked for a very long time every day, multiple times a day,
wake up, go to bed, before I shower before I did anything, I had to smoke.
And then I started smoking a lot less but still every day.
And then one day I just had this freak out.
Like genuinely felt like I don't know what I was seeing.
Like I thought I was hallucinating.
And honestly, I was getting weed from like a bodega in the city.
I think I think there must have been.
I'm convinced it was laced because I had never felt like this before.
and then that day I threw everything that I owned out.
Like any bowl, like papers, wheat.
I did a all.
Everything, I just threw it in the garbage and I was like, I'm just going to stop and see what happens.
And immediately you were able to fall asleep at night?
Yeah.
Which is shocking.
You're a power sleeper.
You don't even need lemme sleep.
I love to sleep.
No, but I'm trying let me sleep.
Yeah, no, you need to.
She'll knock you down.
No, I did it mostly for sleep.
So I didn't smoke during the day.
But then at night, I would get like properly blazed.
Yeah.
Like at the time I was dating like my now husband and he would be like, are you well?
It's a Tuesday.
And I'm like flying around the apartment.
So, no, I'm happy.
I'm like so happy that I don't need it anymore.
Same.
Isn't it funny though?
Like you said, and I'm friend, I'm sure you can attest to this that like there's a difference
between the way you act and the people around you can notice it too.
Like when you were smoking all the time.
Like you thought you were so fun.
But everyone else is like, I can't talk to this person because they're just high.
No, you're a zombie actually.
Yeah.
No, and also like even doing this podcast, like I would be like hazy.
Like I was sick of feeling like that.
I was recording every podcast.
Yeah, basically.
Stop.
And it was very functional for a while.
Until then I just.
Extremely.
You would never have known.
You could carry on interviews.
Like, no, no, no.
That's a gift.
I remember there was actually.
She never really had a tell.
Like there was no like, she didn't get like glazy eyes or like anything like that.
So it was, you know, you would never really know.
My only tail was on the inside where I was like freaking out internally.
Oh, the panic attack?
Yeah.
Just on the inside.
No, but that's great.
When did you stop?
How long ago was that?
I stopped five, six years ago.
Okay.
Yeah.
So it's been a long time.
I was a really bad sleeper.
So I had tried sleeping pills and I relied on pot as part of the sleeper gene.
And then I read this incredible book.
My friend Melissa Wood got me on meditating and the combination of like sticking to this like
very strict sleep schedule and meditating cured my sleeping issues.
Really?
I'm now like,
I now just go native.
Like I just fall asleep.
Just raw.
Just close your eyes.
I close my eyes and I'm asleep.
Normally like I was like, I'll try some night quell.
Like I was trying every version of how to get to sleep.
And now the only thing I take, honestly, this is not a pluck, is lemmy.
I'm going to break it out because.
Yeah.
I know.
I kept in mine next to my.
So excited about these.
I'm so excited.
You guys get to try them.
They are delicious.
I've been dying.
I've been traveling so much lately because we're doing our tour and I feel like just
for the plane to just like knock out.
It's such a nice sleep.
These are the sleep tight gummies.
I'm so excited about these.
And you know, the gummy form is just such a delight.
It is a delight.
It just feels like you're having a little piece of candy or something.
You don't, because there's so many like pills.
There's so many pills.
And like you're just throwing shit down your throat every day.
Like you're like, what?
What?
You know?
Yeah.
And this is the thing.
Courtney wanted to do gummy vitamins, but all the gummy vitamins that we try, we spent years trying every single guy.
They're all made with junk ingredients.
Yeah.
So the whole thing was like, how can we make a gummy vitamin that's delicious that has clinically studied ingredients but actually works?
So four years later in like a thousand gummy samples, we did it.
And it's, I'm not a capsule person.
Like I want a treat.
Yeah.
So for this.
Like a little candy.
Yeah.
No, Phil and I.
my husband, we just sit there with like a little bowl and we're like, is this is the dosage.
We're having two of each.
It's really good.
That is so cool.
And now, you said this was like a four year process.
Where did the idea come from?
How did you guys get started?
I want to hear all about the process of it.
Okay.
So Courtney and I have been friends for 20 years.
And she was always the girl on every chat that's like, you should try this.
You should do cold plunge.
Like before wellness was wellness, like Courtney was the girl on the group chat.
You know we all have a girl in the group chat.
is like, have you try?
And then they send you the link and you're like, are you well?
Yeah.
Like I'm not doing a cold plan.
This is 10 years ago.
And it was like not the rage.
So she always knew she wanted to launch a vitamin supplement brand.
And I think she just kind of waited for the timing to be right for her.
She was recently in a relationship with Travis.
And it all just made sense for her.
And we started the expiration three years ago.
And we always knew we wanted to work together on something.
You know, when you're working with like a best.
friend. You guys know it's like a joy. So we launched eight months ago. We're launching so many different
formats. And I fly to LA twice, twice a week, or sorry, twice a month to film content with her. And it's
literally like not a job. Yeah. I'm like, is this, is this real? It is so nice. And like you said,
working with a friend is so nice. But I want to go like way back also because I think so many people
know who you are and know your name, but are like,
how did he get to this point?
Who is the stranger?
So what was Simon doing in his 20s?
Yeah.
So it's crazy.
I grew up in Canada, Ottawa, Canada, and like a small town had no proximity to celebrity
or entertainment, but was always obsessed with celebrities.
I was like a freak.
I would watch the Oscars and the Grammys and wonder, like, how is this manager representing
this person?
Like, who's this person walking the celebrity down the carpet?
it like what is a publicist but I had no proximity to it there was not a chance I would ever be able
to meet someone or even get an inn in the industry and I was reading in us weekly I was 20 years old
in college and there was an article about a woman named lizzie grubman and lizzie was a famous publicist in
new york and she was partners with this guy named jonathan chevin who now goes by food guys which by the way
it was going to ask you how ridiculous no no no I mean that's a whole other we'll double click on that
So I called her office.
I said, I'll work for free, I'll do whatever it takes.
And they were like, okay, if you're in New York City, we'll take an interview with you.
So I called my parents lied.
I was like, I got a job interview, flew down in New York the next day, wore a ridiculous outfit, flew into the office, like so excited.
I basically said, I'll do coffee, I'll do errands, I'll get lunch for you.
And they're like, fine, you'll work for free.
We're never going to give you a job.
You can start on Monday.
And that was my moment.
That was like the moment that changed my life.
I then left Lizzie, went to work for Jonathan,
met the girls, the Kardashian family, met Kim in 2006.
Chloe was a personal assistant for Nicole Richie.
I was Jonathan's personal assistant.
We met when we were working.
And then in 2008, I remember sitting at Coy.
I don't know if you guys remember Coy.
Okay, Coy was like the inventor of this, like the Krispy Rice Tuna thing.
Like they invented that.
I don't know where they are now.
I miss you, boy.
And we were sitting at this restaurant and they were like, we got an offer to do a show on E.
And I remember thinking like, oh my God, Ann and Nicole Smith was on E.
Like, that's not the vibe.
Like, no, thank God no one listened to me.
And that was the beginning of kind of this like long relationship and entertainment.
I then took over the company.
I bought the company from Jonathan in 2011.
And our agency now connects brands with celebrities.
So it's confusing.
People are like, oh, but you're in PR, but you do.
deals. I represent brands and I negotiate brand deals with celebrities. So that's my,
that's the business I've had for 15 years. So it's on the brand side. I'm on the brand side.
So, but it's confusing, right? Because I did PR and I'm with the girl. It's like,
what does he do? Right. So that, that's really my, you guys had your stint on reality TV for
a hot sack. We did. Thank you for being so kind. It was a stint. Like we barely got eight
episodes. They were like, we're shutting you down.
Which was sad because I actually vividly remember loving it just because I was also on the side of like so fascinated by celebrities and what it was like behind the scenes.
Right.
And working in that kind of like communications PR world.
Yeah.
Because at the time I think like my guess is maybe I'm I think I'm like late high schoolish.
Right.
So I'm like, what do I want to do in college?
Communications.
Right.
So I'm like watching the show.
I was like, oh my God, this looks amazing.
And then they, you know, it was a few episodes.
Yeah.
No, they had to cancel her.
And PR and communications was like the new psychology.
When I went to college, everyone was like, we're in psychology.
I was like, I see you.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then it became PR communications.
No, the show was great.
I think I realized that during the show that I felt more comfortable being behind
the camera.
Like Jonathan wanted to, I think I could say this and he wouldn't kill me, but he really
wanted to be famous.
Yeah.
And that's not a bad thing.
I don't think that's a groundbreaking.
Yeah, that's not like a groundbreaking news.
And I was like, I think you need to want that.
Like you need to be okay with having people comment on Instagram posts.
And like I'm way too sensitive.
Yeah.
If someone says one bad thing about me, I am subiraling for days.
So I knew that I was okay being a part of it, but I never wanted that to be like the centerpiece of my life.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
But it's funny that you mentioned that because Food God was an avid blocker for somebody who wants to be or wanted to be very famous.
He went through a blocking spray.
Oh, is he not still blocking?
I don't know if he's still blocking, but I got blocked.
I didn't say anything.
And then I met him.
And remember, it was the Sports Illustrated party a couple years ago at Super Bowl.
And I went up to him when I was like, you blocked me on Twitter.
And I don't know why.
And we just had this funny moment.
And I wonder why he blocked you.
Did you say anything?
I don't know.
I can't confirm.
Right.
You can't confirm or deny.
I can't confirm or deny.
But I don't remember saying anything about food God specifically.
I do remember that my cousin,
like maybe had like a little back and forth like she was like a random no he also like he elicits
that type of reaction with some of his bold comments what was your reaction when he was like I'm
changing my name and what do you call him I call him John yeah like I'm like I don't know what
you're doing but I support you but I'm calling you John because I don't even know what that means
I yeah it's hard to make a change like that and like you have to you can't expect your people in your
life that have known you forever to just change, like new people, sure, they're meeting you as
this name.
But you've got a long history with the prior name.
Yeah.
And it's also like, it's like a little character that he's developed, but he really does live it.
So when I do call him John in front of other people, he does correct me.
Yeah.
He's like, excuse me.
Yeah, no, very force.
Like in front of my husband, I'm like, okay.
We're good.
Yeah.
No, he's obviously unwell.
And I mean that in the best way.
That's amazing.
You are probably loving for your business the surge that social media has had in the past like 10 years or so.
It's crazy.
For what you do, that is actually perfect.
It's crazy, though, because when we started this business, there was like a handful of 20, 30 celebrities that you would cast in campaigns.
And now, like, you know, we say the word celebrity, but there's like influencers.
There's so many options.
it's insane.
In every avenue.
Like there is somebody in every single category field.
There's like crafting influencers.
Like there's pottery.
It's,
it's insane.
And now TikTok has obviously changed the game.
I love it.
I think it's,
I mean,
I think it's just changed the industry.
And it's also democratized celebrity.
And even when I think of fashion week,
like I remember at the old school,
like there were 20 celebrities that you invite
and there were 10 people,
industry people,
you would invite to an event and no one else got in and front row was like so highbrow.
Even with the Kardashians, like I remember people who wouldn't invite them to events and like
those same people send me offers for them all the time.
And I think like, oh, I'm so tired.
You know, like people are just, I mean, people are just so obvious.
How do you feel like the trend is now with brands?
Do brands want to work more with these big name, celebrity?
that obviously come with the big price tag, or do they like the kind of influencer marketing?
I think there's always going to be the brand that wants that, like, bright, flashy name that
gets people really excited in, like, the hallways of whatever office they're in.
But more and more, they're saying, okay, if I've got this budget, I'm going to break this
budget down into specific categories and really do something that can be impactful that's a lot
more niche.
Yeah. Basically, you were asking if we have a shot.
I wasn't, but, you know.
You already are brand.
Yeah, hi.
You said that you fly out to L.A. twice a month.
Twice a month.
To shoot content, all of that.
Can we get a kick on the ASMR thing?
Like, can we tell Courtney, like, I've seen the small clips.
Okay.
Full, maybe like 30-minute ASMR.
She only has to shoot it one time.
No, do you love her?
She loves ASMR.
And I love ASMR.
Wait, that makes me so happy.
we, when we first started talking to her about it, she's like, I guess I can do one. And I'm like,
I actually need one of mine. Yeah. Because they're doing so. It wasn't enough. No. And Courtney's so,
she's not in it, right? Like, she doesn't know that like, ASMR is like a trend on TikTok. She's like,
oh, this is fun. And also the way she speaks kind of plays perfectly to ASMR. It's total deadpan.
Yeah. It's already a ASMR. It's already, like, we did one in ALTA, like, because we were watching an
Malta last week. And she was just like, she killed it. She doesn't even know, she doesn't know how funny her delivery is, which is like part of it. It's like it's meta. But no, I will tell her. We need to do like full 30 minutes. And then maybe she never has to do it again, but just do 30 minutes. And then you can cut them into, you can splice them up a little bit for reels and TikTok. We did a sleep ASMR that just like went crazy on TikTok. I'm a huge ASMR person. And, you know, people don't.
get it unless you are also an ASMR person. You know what I mean? Like, if you start talking to somebody
about ASMR and you explain what it is, they're like, you're a freak. Like, they think you're getting
off to the ASMR and I'm like. I am. Yeah. And like also just so calm, you know, like, put you to
sleep. W Magazine does, have you ever seen this? I've seen it. Yeah. They do the ASMR interviews.
And they don't do enough. They don't do enough. They put one out like once every couple of months.
I'm like, how are you not getting these people to do them more?
I know, honestly, this is going to, this interview is going to help because I think the team was feeling like we have to make it special.
But now I'm going to double down.
Like, no, we don't.
I'm telling you people will eat up.
Yeah.
A Courtney Kardashian, ASMR on YouTube video.
It's not a thing that like has to be a one-off thing.
The more options, it's like when you go into those sleep apps and people tell you stories, like you want more options.
Yeah.
Like I want 20 Courtney videos I can choose from.
Yeah.
That's true KSMR.
Yeah.
Yeah.
KSMR.
Yeah.
No, TikTok coined it.
We didn't.
Oh my gosh.
So good.
It's amazing.
It is.
Okay.
So I want to go back because I feel like you have to have some great stories like 2009 on.
Oh, even before.
Yeah.
And I'm just like I feel like everyone's so fascinated now with that time period because now we're all like on social media and everything.
And with Brittany and everything that's happened.
It's like, let's talk about those paparazzi days.
and what was going on.
What were some of like the craziest things you witnessed in real life?
You know, I just remember celebrities who, I think like generally celebrities like play it a lot
more aloof.
They're like, oh my God, how did that photographer show up?
Like big celebrities, small celebrities.
Like there was this aloofness back then, which once I was in the business, I was like,
this is please don't play me.
I think nowadays the trend is to talk about those things a lot more openly back then everything was so coveted.
Also, like nightlife was so big back then.
Like bungalow eight, celebrities were doing the naughtiest things constantly.
But then the invention of like the camera phone.
Oh, I remember waiting outside a bungalow eight and I was with Food God and they would only let him in.
And that piece of shit left me to die.
I was like, what was the bouncer's name?
disco and he let Jonathan in and like he was like you're not coming in. I forgot I was wearing something
ridiculous. Obviously it was from Canada. It was insane. And I remember like I finally got in like months
later and like it was George Clooney. It was this one. It was like ever. Lindsay Lohan when she was on fire.
Like yeah it was and no one had phones. So like they would do they were dancing on tape. People were
crazy back then and nightlife completely changed like nightlife. We used to represent nightclubs.
Like you would have star publicists like bring celebrities like in the back door.
And it was this whole world which doesn't exist now.
Really nightlife has changed now.
It's DJs.
It's celebrity culture doesn't really exist in nightlife anymore as it did.
And everybody's filming everything.
Like you know when you go out, there's a chance that there's a camera on you.
Yes.
Yes.
And there's like no BTS anymore.
Like everything is front of a house.
Like everyone is sharing every tidbit.
You got an email from someone asking for like the writer of a celebrity.
suddenly that's on TikTok. There's no NDAs like bring it on. I'm going to break it. Yeah. It's like fun
in some way and also kind of takes away the fun. Yes. Yes. There's no. I would say we're pretty
trustworthy. Like, you know, if we have a guest that comes on, they tell us something, whatever,
we never tell anybody. Right. And then I'm shocked when I see other people sharing things that people
I'm like, we would never do that. Right. Well, it's like that's, you know, with, I feel like the power has
shifted and like Dumois has also made a career out of kind of like airing all these things
out in the wild and everybody is dying for that information but we were dying for it so hard
that now it's almost too much that I'm like I don't really care about what Jack Harlow's ordering
at lunch you know like and you're like these people like there's no balance yes like there's
got to be some stuff that needs to still be like a little hidden oh
Totally. We used to do, like, at the time it was Diddy. I think it was Diddy. Like, he's changed his name so many times. But his white party. So we would, like, be in charge of press and celebrities. And, like, he was so, like, the list was so tight. No one was getting in unless it was the crem to la cram. And he would sit on the top floor of his home in East Hampton. And he would look and see, like, that person's wearing cream pants. I said white. It's white on white. Like, it was that level of parties. And I think now it's like, there's sponsors.
There's like, so they get a list.
The liquor brand gets a list.
The shoe brand gets a list.
So suddenly like the parties that were once like very tight are a little more general public.
It's not so exclusive anymore.
No.
You mentioned the like who's eating what lunch.
Yeah.
It reminds me of when I saw Vince Vaughn eats a turkey leg at Disney.
Or no, no, Joe Mangonella.
That's like that name.
Oh, the true blood guy with the body?
Yes.
Oh, yes.
Magic Mike.
Magic Mike, yes.
Love him.
Then I read he eats a turkey leg at Disney, and I'm like, why?
I don't need to know that information.
It's too much.
Now the allure of Joe Mantella has gone away because I know he eats a turkey leg at Disney.
And I'm not happy about that.
He should be eating, like, I don't know what he should be eating.
Like a chicken breast?
I don't know.
I mean, I guess he's like, like, there's the visual of him doing that.
Or like how people were in high school.
Sometimes I'm, like, it's like, oh, my God.
Sometimes I was mean in high school.
Like, I don't want anybody to think I'm mean now.
Because one time I was mean in high school.
And also, oh, everybody, like, I don't want this to come across the wrong way, but, like, everybody who's a star now was bullied in high school.
No, you weren't.
No, you weren't.
You were totally fine.
Ever all I was a loser and a nerd in high school.
No, you weren't.
And you have to, like, especially for me because I'm in, like, the industry of it, I have to stop myself from being jaded where I'm like, don't start with this.
Like, you hear the confessionals on, like, a social media post and I'm like, don't do this.
Yeah.
to tire something that you think you hear that you're just like this is just okay so my biggest
ick is when celebrities complain about the paparazzi uh it is such a trigger for me first of all i don't want
to get into specifics i can't take the trolls but like there was a recent couple who came to new
York and complained about this like high-speed chase. And I just want to say like when you are at a
certain level of celebrity, you have access to some of the best security personnel in the world.
These people, like, they provide security for like the heads of state. Like you know how to enter a
hotel. You know how to enter an event. You can come up with plans to escape the paparazzi or at least
have a safe way to do it. So it's hard for me to hear this like sob story when celebrities like,
just don't get a minute. Well, also you've made $50 million last year. Like, there's that balance
where having been in the industry, it's a little bit cringe. Yeah. Do you think that people complain
about it, but also call it on themselves? I don't know if, like, if you're at that level,
you are being hunted all day. Like, they're waiting outside your home, but there are certain
celebrities who are just know how to deal with it. Like, you rarely see Beyonce and Jaycee. Yeah.
And they are living in Los Angeles. They're living in New York. They're in
Hamptons and you rarely see them.
So they understand how to move.
They're so used to moving like this. They know how to move in a certain way.
We've had that conversation recently about Taylor Swift too because like for the last few
years you never really saw her.
She was in a more private relationship and we really, there were no paparazzi photos of her.
Right.
But now like every single time she's walking in and out of the studio in New York, there's pictures
of her.
But it's like she knows.
She's on a tour.
She's on a tour.
Yeah.
She wants to be seen.
Yes.
Like she's seen when she wants to be seen.
And then she goes and then she's hiding for.
five years and you don't see one photo over.
Exactly.
So I think they all know what's up.
And I also think like the fan, the audience is so savvy now.
Like everyone knows everything.
Yeah.
You know, I think when someone's like, okay, you don't know how to enter a hotel without
being seen, like we know you know.
Yeah.
What do you feel about Leonardo DiCaprio and his, the way he moves about?
Because we talked about this the other day.
Yeah.
And I'm like, we know it's you in the black hat and the black mask.
No, we see you.
Like, you have now done this look of Billy.
times. We know it's you. We are seeing you. Yeah, we see your face. We know you're at a nightclub.
Yeah. You love a lounge. I don't ever see him because he is a nightclub guy. And he always
tries to like avoid the photos too, which I think it's, yeah, I mean, it's hard because it's,
I get you want to have fun and you, you, you still have this public persona. I don't know.
I plead the fifth on him. I have no thoughts on Leo. It's just, it does. We laugh because it's like,
we know what your uniform is.
It's still like, feel like it's his way of being like, oh, don't.
It's not me.
Right.
But it's you.
We know it's you.
We know it's you.
But you're also the only person walking around like that.
Right.
Right.
And you're also going to places where you know you're going to get photographed.
Like if you're going to a nightclub in L.A. or New York, there's going to be a
camera phone on you.
Exactly.
Whether you think it's going to happen or not.
Like someone's peekie peaking with their phone.
Okay.
So reality TV, you've obviously been on multivoreau.
multiple episodes of keeping up when it was keeping up and now we're on Hulu.
How do you feel about like being on the show?
What was your first feelings about being featured on the show?
And then like how do you feel about it now?
So now, I mean, it's a family and they've been doing it for so many seasons.
You just, it's probably like you guys filming the show.
You don't even notice that the cameras are on you.
And the girls are also, you know, they're producers of the show.
You feel very comfortable.
So it's why it feels so natural
because you can talk about
100 different things in your day
and you know if you talk about something
that's like deeply personal or private
that doesn't pertain to the show
like they're not using you know
I have a stomach ache today like okay
we don't care
relax not about you
we're good like sometimes when someone comes on
they're like I mention my in-laws
can you make sure they don't
I'm like they don't they're not talking about your in-laws
like that's okay
that's not going to make the final cut
yeah like whoop
so I'm so
used to it.
And they film almost every day.
So with Lemmy's stuff, like we take meetings for four hours talking about formulations
with Courtney.
Like, they're not using the formulation talk.
You know, but then like our doctors would be like, did I sound okay?
I'm like, you sounded great.
You're a star.
Yeah, you won.
So it's very, I think it's really natural.
I've been on other, or I've seen other shows film where it's a lot more directed.
Yeah.
Which I think would make me nervous.
I could never have a producer say, like, text me like, can you ask so-and-so this question?
Like, I would freeze.
I'm not good at being an actor.
And I know that happens on a lot of other reality shows.
Oh, I guess.
Yeah.
I mean, we know that, I mean, we just watched.
We just watched the last season of the selling sunset.
And I'm like, this was some of the fakesest route.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Can you re-ask that question?
Yeah.
Our cameraman was down.
Yeah.
So that happens all the time.
And that doesn't happen with the
girls. Yeah. So you were one of the only non-family members to make it to the wedding for Courtney
and Travis. Yes. Very exclusive. That's an exclusive event. Yes. That was a really special event.
We've had a relationship with Domenico Dolce for over 10 years. Courtney and I have been
vacationing there in Portofino. So like the relationship, like we, they're like part of our
kind of fam. So it was this something that came up actually at my wedding.
We were all, like, very tipsy at my wedding.
And Domenico's partner, Ghee, was like, do you guys want to have a wedding, your wedding, in Portofino?
And we were drunkenly like, yes, let's start planning.
And then we did.
Yeah.
It was, it was the most beautiful.
I don't know if you guys, have you guys been to Portofino?
No.
It's so, like, I couldn't.
It was like, speechless.
I was like, is this?
I kept pinching myself every morning.
I mean, there's still those moments where you're like, I can't believe this is real.
Like, it was that, it was that special.
It's so stunning.
I tried to actually.
go last summer last minute because I was in Italy and I was like oh let's just pop down for
for a day like see and honestly like it was so everything that we were looking at last I mean you can't
do anything last minute in Italy but like the prices no people my brother had just been and he
was like Fran honestly there's so many fucking people right now like he was like and I hate to say
like I kind like the Courtney the influence they have is so it's still so crazy and
so huge. Like even pre, obviously they put out the wedding special, but we all knew where the wedding
was and saw the content from it. And then we got the wedding special. And it's like that is now
circled on everybody's list. Like I got, well, do you see how beautiful that is? I got to go there.
No, you got to go to Portofino. No, like, I know the Portofino Tourism Board is for sure like,
yes. Yeah. Yeah. That happens with a lot of, like the White Lotus right now. Everybody is in Sicily.
Yes. Where was your wedding? So we did two weddings. We did one wedding in L.A. and then we did one
wedding in Toronto because I'm I'm Canadian so it was just easier and um it was insane you had like
the best wedding ever I because I remember talking to Emma about it at the time and I was like you were
at that wedding and she was like it was unbelievable it was so you know you never know how a wedding's
going to go and there's always like challenging guests you know like you can't control your friends
yeah yeah but it was one of those weddings that's why I have two yeah that's what you have two
oh no it was like the Canadian family it's going to park too um it was just it was so fun we did like
character drawings at every single guest that came.
It was like their menu card, like a picture of their face, which like some of the guests were
like, I can't believe you made me look like.
But it was it was one of those nights where like everything just worked.
Our best friend Melissa Wood, she married us.
So it was just, it was so good.
That's amazing.
I love when people do the like, like you said with the picture on the plate.
Yeah.
Like catered to them.
I'm seeing a lot of people now do pick.
that they have with the bride or groom, they put them on the plate.
It's so nice.
Which I think is such a good idea.
And then you think to yourself, like, if I don't have a picture with you, why are you
coming to my wedding?
Yeah.
Yeah, no, I had to go on, like, link.
Like, some of the people, like, didn't have, like, a, we're on Instagram.
Like, I had to go on LinkedIn and, like, pull pictures and, like, because it was, like, the plus one.
And that's why they didn't like their drawing.
No, and, like, you know, like, people were like, oh, it was so nice.
Your wedding planners did it.
I'm like, I did this.
I did, like, 185.
Like, I organized every drawing because I knew people were, like,
would hate their picture.
Chloe was like, this is not my face.
I was like, Chloe, please.
Like, no, Matt, you're, you think I just found your girlfriend of six months.
I found her at LinkedIn.
That is so funny.
So was New York an option for festivities or like, because I feel like you're more of a New York guy?
I am definitely more of a New York.
I could never live in L.A.
I wanted to get married at this hotel that Phil and I had kind of spent a lot of
time at. And it was the Bel Air Hotel in L.A. And we thought it would also be a really good way to
weed out guests. Because like, who's going to fly all the way to L.A.? Yep. Yep. But they came.
Oh, my God. L.A.'s not quite far enough. It's not far enough. You're going to do out of the
country. No, we should have done. Everyone was like, no, we will be there. Can we bring a plus two?
Because at least when you're out of the country, it's like people, your passports expires.
No, and I was so annoying.
I was like so she-she.
I was like, please, like, respect our wishes and no social media.
I, like, live streamed my wedding.
Like, I remember seeing so many, like, your wedding and you can do that.
No, like, no, no, no.
I literally was like, you could repost it if I look great.
Like, I was out of control.
Once it happens and you're in the moment, you're probably having the best time.
The best time.
Like, I was floating.
Like, I never realized why people really got, I just wanted to have a party.
And then once we got engaged, people are so, people believe in love.
They still believe in love.
They're like, even though we're cynical, like, people really root for you.
And I felt such love.
Like the entire, from engagement to wedding, I just felt like everyone was rooting for us.
Yeah.
So it was just like, it was this euphoric feeling.
Now they've turned.
They're not with us anymore.
But during that time, they're with us.
They like you during the planning process.
Yes.
Because they want to know what's going on.
And then I feel like, all right, we're done with you.
Yeah.
And making those social media decisions like for.
yourself is so funny because like obviously when you get in the moment you want to do whatever you
want to do like I think of Diplo live streaming Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's wedding like it's just
you make those rules for you you have to make the rules with other people but there's no rules for you
yeah and like some guests like we're snapping photos of other guests and I was like is that the
vibe yeah yeah is that the kind of wedding I'm having I'm like can you behave yeah yeah yeah
it's so funny it's like some you just
hope when you have obviously some celebrities your wedding, like people that you know in regular
life can be a normal human. Yeah, yeah, be normal. Everyone was, everyone was really behaved.
Kim had delivered this like killer speech on the rehearsal night, which I was like, please,
respect. Yeah. And she had made a comment about like her ex-husband. And like it just was like one of
those moments where I was like, let's not pose. And of course, like somebody. Now it's ringing a bell.
I'm remembering it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She made a comment about like not.
Yeah.
Anyway, it was of course, like everywhere the next morning.
Right.
You just can't.
You can't control everybody.
No.
And honestly, during the moment, I was like, it's fine.
Love and Light.
Yeah.
We love love.
Yeah, we love.
Like, I was so emotional.
I wept my whole wedding.
Phil was like, I need you to pull it together.
You're embarrassing me.
No, I was blowing my nose down the aisle.
Like, I don't know why.
It just, I think it's just like the.
the feeling of having like 200 people in a room who are all just like go, go, go, go, go.
Where did you meet him?
Phil and I met on Tinder.
Okay.
He's a Long Island boy.
I was swiping out of my district.
Yeah, Smithtown.
Oh, that's not too far from my secret.
So I was like swiping out of my district.
I was like, the Tinder had this feature called Passport.
I was like out of my range.
You made those miles go up.
Oh, yeah.
I was like, I'll do like 60 miles.
Yeah, yeah.
And we had a first date and that was it.
Like he moved in, he literally moved in like four months after our first date.
Wow.
I love that so much.
And yeah, he's like this sweetest, so not connected to any of.
And like doesn't even know.
Yeah.
Like, which is kind of perfect.
Yeah.
Just like, you do what you do, babe.
Yeah.
He has like this fragrance company called sniff that has candles.
I got to send you guys up.
Yes, yes.
But he's the best.
You guys got to meet him.
And so naturally you end up in the Hamptons because, you know, Long Island.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Yeah.
We spend the summers in Montau.
So we're Montauk people.
Are you guys?
Montauk intimidates me so.
Montock is intimidating for me as well.
It's so intimidating to me.
Stop, it's your market.
They love you in Montau.
I don't know.
I've like never, one toe has not stepped in the surf lodge.
I'm absolutely terrified.
So like the whole influencer world.
Yes.
Intimidates us.
Yes, because we're like adjacent, but we're not fully in.
We don't hang out with a lot of.
We get social anxiety like going.
out to these events. I hear you and so do I and I especially in that influencer world where they're
all friends with each other and it can sometimes feel very Montauki but that's not Montauk. Montauk is like
the cutest. Oh I mean I've been to Montauk but I just haven't been out. Yes and I'll go like I'll go
with like my boyfriends runs who they just share houses and stuff and like we'll say and but everything
I do out there is like planned by them so I'm not you're not in the weeds. You're not in the
running anything. Yeah. I'm not like I'm just going where I'm told. I want to plan for you. And
Can you?
Because I, with my friends, we've been trying to figure out a weekend to go somewhere in July.
No, I got you.
We're like, do we go to the Jersey Shore, which we know and love?
No.
Or do we try to go to Montau for a weekend and try it out?
No, no, no.
You're coming to Montau.
I'm putting my hope and trust in you.
No, I have like the gay Olympics running at my pool every day.
Like, you're going to have so much fun.
And then we'll go to Surf Lodge.
We'll just be naughty and go to Surf Lodge.
That's what I want to do, but I won't be afraid with you.
No, as long as you want us there.
Oh, are you kidding?
I think it's, we get the feeling that people, like, don't want us around.
Like, not even that.
It's just like, I'm intimidated.
Oh, no, no, no, no.
There's going to be a receiving line for you.
No, it's like surf.
We were there on Saturday and like it is just a gong show.
Like, it's so much fun.
Were you there for, um, who was playing Fisher?
I should know, but like a DJ?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm not a DJ person, but like purple disco.
It obviously looks like a blast.
It was at the same person.
Different, different, but same kind of vibe.
It was.
Yeah. I was for Expresso Martini's deep and living.
Like, I love to dance. When I go out, I love dancing. Like, that's like my whole vibe. So I know I would have a blast.
Oh, we're going to go together. Oh my gosh. Please.
What, um, oh, God, I'm forgetting the name. How about that that now I'm just like chatting with you small talk.
Like nobody's going to care about this. But how about that restaurant that burned down?
It really. So sad. No, so sad.
Crazy. And like their propane tank blew up or something. Yeah. That's insane.
Like it was totally brand new done.
ready to go opening weekend and Thursday night
and burn down. And it's what, it was
what Common Ground was going through. Oh, really?
And not now anymore, but it was what they were doing.
I also love Common Ground.
Yeah, we have
our time in there. We've spent
time there before. Spent plenty of time in there.
Oh, in Montauk. Oh, not Montauk.
In New York, but I haven't done, I never
did the Montau. I'm forgetting there was one bar
that I went to nine million times a couple
summer ago that I'm forgetting the name of.
Grey Lady? Oh, maybe a great lady.
No, maybe a great lady.
Gray lady.
Great lady is fun too.
Because great, is that more, it was like restaurant vibes sitting, had dinner, and then turned
into a club vibe.
No, maybe. No, that's not.
Gray lady's full club club.
A full club.
Okay.
And I'm thinking of something else.
There's so many.
Like Montauks kind of be, and there's like this place called Jonies, which you go
to for like fresh wraps in the morning.
I always see that.
I see that.
Yeah.
It's like a cute.
It's just, we're kind of like off the beat.
We're not in town.
So it's just a nice, it's a nice vibe.
You know, we'll test it out again.
We'll have to test it out this summer.
We need guidance. I got you.
You are now our tour guide.
I love planning too.
I love planning.
The last time I would be like a trip.
The last time I was in Montauk, I like had a
just a terrible time
because I got, I had some weird like
I don't even know. I got like a weird infection.
My elbows, remember I was sending you pictures?
Yeah, you get burned.
And then I got my friend accidentally burned me
with a hot tray of French fries.
I got a scar.
on my arm from it. Yeah, it was just so honestly, I could do with redoing.
We need a fresh memories. I'm going to plot the hotels. I'm going to plot it all.
Perfect. We're going to figure out a whole itinerary.
Perfect. Okay. What, we've been talking for forever, so we'll wrap it up. But what are your, like, big summer plans? Where are you headed? I know you're going somewhere good.
Okay. So right now, I think I may go to Mekanos. I'd like to stick to the gay agenda.
Yep. And then we'll be in Montauk for most like most of July and August. And then we go to Italy on July 8th for
like four days.
Oh, I'm just going to miss you. I'm there the first of the eighth.
Oh, so, with your boyfriend?
Yeah, my family.
Okay.
Oh, so nice.
Yeah.
Yeah, we're in Poolia.
Beautiful, yes.
Yeah, I've never been.
Yes.
That's also a new hot spot.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, I'm doing classically.
We're joking.
I'm doing Cicely and Cicely and Como.
We did Cicillian.
Oh, amazing.
Yeah, we did Cicely last year.
Yeah, it's just, I'm so excited.
No, it's such a treat.
I want to move there.
I got to get to Italy at some point.
I always think that.
And then I'm like, you know, you don't want to ruin a good thing when it's like you get to go.
It's beautiful.
You enjoy your vacation.
You don't want to like when you go and have to live there.
And the convenience of New York City, there's no other city that says convenient.
I was shocked when you told me you lived in New York City because remember we were trying to figure out.
I was like, oh, when you're in New York, you're like, I live here.
I'm here.
You're like, bitch, I can come anytime.
No, I'm actually three 24 seven.
No, it's an optical illusion for work.
I like people to think that I'm in L.A.
Hobnobbing.
I'm actually at home like flicking.
And then when I go to L.A. I'm like posting.
Like, I'm in L.A. But I'm never there.
That's amazing.
Simon, thank you so much.
Thank you so much.
Everyone, make sure you're following Simon everywhere.
And then also getting your Lemmy products.
You can't have them on Amazon, right?
You can get them on Amazon, yeah.
Which is so convenient, obviously.
You can get them the next day probably.
Hello.
Yeah.
Prime.
Yeah.
Right.
And TikTok and everything.
So you get all Courtney's right.
ASMR.
No, no.
I'm calling her.
Okay, please too.
Thank you.
Thank you. Simon, you're the best. We love you. Thank you so much.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Montauk.
Yep.
All right, that wraps up.
Today's episode of Chicks of the Office.
