Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. This is state of emergency. What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Wednesday. We are back. Hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend.
Starting point is 00:00:31 Apologies if you had to work on Monday. Some people did have to go to work, so thank you for that. But we're back. Well, thank you. You know, I went to a restaurant. He's laughing. I know. I went to a restaurant Monday morning and said to myself,
Starting point is 00:00:43 not everyone gets off today. I shook my head saying agreeing with you. Yeah. Which people could hear. Which we have this boozy bitch in the corner who was laughing at. So thank you for all the people who went to work on Monday. I thought that was a very nice sentiment. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:00:57 No, it was. I was just thinking of like jobs that aren't public service. No, I mean, there's plenty of people who went to work on Monday. Plenty. Yeah. Okay. Anyways. Anyway.
Starting point is 00:01:06 Hope everyone had a lovely week. How was your Labor Day weekend? I had a great Labor Day weekend. I'm really upset that Trent is not on this podcast today because, and I said that this time to this weekend. Yeah. Sorry, Trent's not on this podcast today, by the way.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Breaking News. Trent is not on the podcast today. He's in Myrtle Beach for the golf show. For that golf show he does. And I said, Trent, this is really upsetting that we will not be doing a podcast together on Tuesday because we hung out at the Jersey Shore this weekend. Trent came to the Jersey Shore, his first time ever. and we showed him a good time.
Starting point is 00:01:39 And we took pictures. I asked you to take a video of him in the Parker House and you didn't send it. I put it on my Instagram story. Yeah, but I wanted a personal one. I right, right. I didn't, here's the thing. I wanted to be cool about trying to come out. Yeah, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:01:52 I didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable. And I wanted it to be like, everyone act cool. Because when we convinced him to come, we were at a group chat. It was like nobody ruined it. Right. He wasn't, so he was joking about coming to the Jersey Shore. Started off as a complete joke. then it became he was hearing rumblings of like a seafood dinner we were having and he was like that
Starting point is 00:02:11 sounds really good piqued his interest and he was like all right maybe i'll come then it quickly he sent tommy a text and was like i'm not coming and then Tommy put us in a group chat with a couple people and said guys let's bully Trent into coming to the Jersey Shore which we then did I thought that wouldn't work on Trent because he's somebody who usually doesn't fall into peer pressure he fell into it pretty easily while we just bullied him and bullied him and broke him down until he said okay I'll come and he had a great time
Starting point is 00:02:41 I'm speaking for him but genuinely he had a great time I asked him and he was like no that was a lot of fun he it was I've never seen Trent in this line no I'm so happy for him I've never seen Trent in this light I said I hope he does it more often we when we went to Nashville we went out after Trent escaped within five minutes Irish combined so fast
Starting point is 00:03:00 He is a phenomenal Irish exeter. Just no... Honestly, really good. He'll be right behind you. You turn around. He's gone. He's gone. He's a ghost.
Starting point is 00:03:10 Yeah. So I thought in my head, there's no way he's going to, like, going to, like, go in a Parker house. Right, right, right. He didn't even, like, going out of Nashville. I was Florida, but he told me. He's going to disappear in two seconds.
Starting point is 00:03:20 No, no. He even went to the bar after Parker House. Wow. Wow. What's, like, the vibe of Parker House? Is it like, like, like, like, like, club type? There's, no, no.
Starting point is 00:03:30 but it's more like there's dancing it's loud there's a lot of people it's just it can get really crowded especially on a holiday weekend there's loud of music and it's just loud all around yeah um but there's two different floors yeah the downstairs is they always have like live band the upstairs is more like DJ you know all different kinds of music there's a little more cash um but not on a weekend like this no no no no holiday weekend those park cars is packed always and so we had a grand we had a grand old time I love I had a great weekend he only stayed a for one night. But yeah, I'm trying to think of what else has happened.
Starting point is 00:04:06 What else? Oh, I started a phenomenal show. Bad Sisters on Apple TV. Everybody's talking about these Apple TV shows these days. Apple TV's got the good. Let me tell you, I started this show thinking, because on Sunday, me and Marty left the Jersey Shore
Starting point is 00:04:24 and we said, we want to do nothing all day on Sunday. And then on Monday, you get your life back together for the fall. Fall restart. You clean, you organize, you get ready for the fall. So on Sunday I was like, let's do nothing and watch a show. Come across Bad Sisters on Apple TV. I'm so excited.
Starting point is 00:04:42 I heard my parents talk about it. I've heard Fidelberg talk about it. I'm so excited to watch. Of course, your parents have watched it. My parents have watched. Literally not a show that I think we have brought up on this podcast in the last six months that your parents haven't watched. They've watched every single show that's come out on every network possible. It's insane.
Starting point is 00:04:58 I don't know. It is insane. I was going to say I don't know where they the time but they are both retired yeah i'm making them sound old they're both in their their early 50s besides the point um start the show i'm so obsessed i'm so into it the show abruptly ends okay and i'm like do not tell me this is the way the show ends i'm like this is how this show ends it's a week it made no sense it's a week by week it's a fucking weekly show it's a week by weeker comes out on fridays only four episodes out Oh, 100% of Rot Tomatoes. It's so good.
Starting point is 00:05:32 You would love it. You would really love it. And I... So then I started Blackbird after, because then I realized I got blue-balled by this show. Blackbird. Good? Good. Although I've only watched one episode.
Starting point is 00:05:45 Oh, okay. Have you guys heard about the show The Patient? Yes, with Steve Carrell and Hulu. I watched that the first two episodes, yes. 21-minute episodes, huh? Are they both? I don't know. I thought they're like 30, but the second one is like 20, but...
Starting point is 00:05:56 Incredibly far behind of my television. I don't know. I watched the first two, and I'm like, oh. Well, so that's why I didn't start the patient because after I was so upset the rest of the night that, yes, I enjoyed Blackbird, but I was so upset watching Blackbird because I wanted to be watching Bad Sisters. But I was like, I'm into it, but I'm not fully into it because I was just watching this other show. I thought I was going to find out the end. They all, they all have Irish accents. Yeah, it's an Irish show.
Starting point is 00:06:19 I love that. I just picked up from my Google search here. It is an Irish show. And it's so good. It's so good. I highly recommend that everybody. Oh, my God. Please watch it.
Starting point is 00:06:29 like no notable names. One girl in it I recognized from, remember the show behind her eyes that was on Netflix? I don't know if either of you watched it. I watched it. She's in that show. The other one's non-recognizable to me. But highly cannot recommend enough.
Starting point is 00:06:45 It's so good. And now you have time to catch up because it's week by week. Yeah. So then I wanted another like show like that that would just have me on the edge of my seat. You were show jumping. I was. So I, I, Then we were like, all right, let's...
Starting point is 00:07:00 A few episodes of this, one episode of Blackbirds. Well, I would be watching the whole fucking show if I could. So then I was like, fine, we'll watch Blackbird because literally I could not... I've never been so angry about something so miniscule. I was like so upset that I couldn't watch the end of this show. Sorry, Blackbird, but then I was like, you know, all right, one episode, okay, I'm seeing this show the patient all over the place. Let's go check that on on Hulu. I saw there were only two episodes out.
Starting point is 00:07:27 I said, no, no. we are not starting this yet. I cannot go through another show where I feel like I need to know what's happening and I don't. So I'm waiting until more episodes are released to the patient and Bad Sisters I'm going to have to watch
Starting point is 00:07:42 week to week and I highly couldn't recommend enough one of the better shows I've watched recently. Love it. Do you watch a new Game of Thrones episode? Not this past episode. And I've never watched this past one. But please, please watch bad sisters. And if you're listening, watch.
Starting point is 00:07:57 I think it's really good. That sounds fantastic. Anyways, how was your guys' weekend? My weekend was lovely. Very low-key family time. Joe's family was all in town, so a lot of little nieces and nephews running around. It was lovely. We went to brunch on a lot of beach time, four-day, beach, beach, beach.
Starting point is 00:08:23 A lot of Sunday I went to brunch with me-ma. Which was lovely. How was that? If me, Ma, if you're listening, love you. Love you, Moma. She just loves to, you know, she just brings up stuff we talked about on the show. She's like, well, I was listening. And when we went to the club where she, let me tell you something, this woman runs shit.
Starting point is 00:08:42 Run. Of course she does. Like, it's everybody's, oh, Mrs. Dee, again. You know, everyone's talking to her. We sit down and it's like a big buffet brunch, you know, country club style. It's lovely. I've always wanted to be a part of something like that, but I never will be. Well, Meema will take you.
Starting point is 00:09:00 I'd love for me to take me. To have that aura as an older woman is such a dream. She must have, first of all, at one point there was, we get our food. She was joking because it's like, oh, you can do breakfast and then you talk and then you can go and you can get like lunch food. You can do it all. She can hang there for hours. So we get our breakfast food. I guess she was looking for a certain type of bagel.
Starting point is 00:09:25 I can't remember the name of it. It was like something that I didn't. never heard of and they didn't have it. The waiter finds it, brings it for her. And then he's like, she feels it. She's like, it's a little tough. And he's like, oh, would you like me to take it back and cut it and toast it for you? And she's like, yes, thank you.
Starting point is 00:09:42 So he goes, cuts it and toes it. Q waiter or no? Yeah, yeah, younger guy. Like, who they're on a first name basis. Like, brings it back. Mima's boy crazy. That's the only reason I'm asking about if the waiter was cute. You know who I'm picturing as Mima?
Starting point is 00:09:56 you know the end of wedding crashers oh no the end of hitch the end of hitch I was gonna say do not compare Memo to the grandma no no no no no the end of hitch where she like sets up the girl yeah yeah yeah me mom would like to say she's much younger
Starting point is 00:10:11 than that woman so we'll go with that but but yes and he brings it back nobody knows Mima's true age yeah and then he's like would you can I get you cream cheese or butter like she's like a little butter will be when he goes back butters brings it back I'm like laughing
Starting point is 00:10:25 I'm like this is just she just runs shit. She does. And like I said, to have the aura of that woman when you're older is a dream. My grandma was like that as well. RIP grandma. Yeah. Betty. Grandmas are great. They are. But some grandmas have it.
Starting point is 00:10:42 Yeah. And some don't. Yeah. Not to shit on people's grandmas. But some grandmas have that like well, really well put together. They always smell really good. Their makeup is perfect. They got like beautiful jewelry on. Good outfit.
Starting point is 00:10:57 and then some grandmas just they fall apart. I'll just say that my grandma does have it. Your grandma does. Oh yeah, you see my grandma. Your grandma does have it. Your grandma does have it. You posted a picture of her recently on your story. She has it for sure. Definitely. Some do and some don't. Yeah. So me, Ma. Sorry. She's probably listening to this.
Starting point is 00:11:15 I hope she gets a laugh at it. Hopefully. Just because summer is coming to an end doesn't mean the frozen ice pop experience needs to end now. Starting point is 00:12:09 Please drink responsibly. Noah, how is yours? I said your name weird. It's because I hate you today. So how is yours? Noah? Noah? Noah? Why do I hate you? No. No. Okay. Long story, short, you started
Starting point is 00:12:26 you started the week with what felt like a targeted reminder to Ria that we had a meeting to me. Well, if you actually then tie in the bet that we had, I kind of was proven right. No. I don't, I actually will not say that only because
Starting point is 00:12:44 it's not like we didn't know an interview was happening. And also, and it wasn't clarified on the calendar. Noah hit me with a targeted attack this morning on my way to work. Which was not, no, was not. You read my. text, like when you're telling
Starting point is 00:12:58 Kelly Keeks about it, you read my text not the way that they should be read like out audibly. No, no, but it wasn't warranted at all because I have not forgotten anything. But in my mind, I'm like, oh, I'm doing a nice thing, maybe she forgot, I'm just reading. But it was two hours before the meeting and I was on my
Starting point is 00:13:14 way into work. Have you ever thought that perhaps you think we should be reading it in a certain way? Maybe you should be writing it in a certain way? No. Okay, here's what You don't need to read the text, but here's what happened. I'll just like give you one example of how you read a text that I sent that should have been,
Starting point is 00:13:32 uh, I said in case you forgot, but you would read it as like, in case you forgot. No, no. I didn't. No, I didn't.
Starting point is 00:13:39 I read it in, in case you forgot. I read it as how you intended. I still just was like, what the fuck? Why would I forget? Well, yeah,
Starting point is 00:13:46 because you also hit her with it. You never read your emails. Which was I, no. See, now you're just changing it. I said, I wouldn't say you never read your emails.
Starting point is 00:13:54 I said you literally always say you don't check your email. But I do check my email. But I do check my. calendar every single day multiple times a day. Email calendar different. And I actually was on my way to work and I told Marty this story. And he was like, what? I only see you checking your calendar. And I was like, thank you because this is one of the most, it was such a targeted attack on a Tuesday morning. The only thing was that I said, because I originally was like in case you forgot, it was to both of you. If I never checked my calendar, I would be going about every day having no idea what we did ever.
Starting point is 00:14:23 The problem was, you directed it initially at both of us. But then... But she then called me and said, oh, did you forget? Well, I was asking, no. Are you saying this because you forgot? You brought out the email. You brought the emails thing, which then made it seem more towards Ria than me. And he was using an example saying, I don't forget.
Starting point is 00:14:42 You guys are making me sound bad, though, to the... I'm on your side. To the public audience. I don't forget things. I'm on your side. I told him, I told him this is not a nice way to start the week. He was using an example. You missed this conversation in person.
Starting point is 00:14:56 I said, I'm just trying to help. He was... Help what though? I don't miss this is what I'm getting frustrated at because I don't miss things He used this as an example. He said sometimes you're like fuck we have this meeting It's not a fuck I forgot this meeting. It's a oh fuck we have this meeting It's not it's not a I forgot it's just a fuck we have this meeting You see the difference? No, I see the difference But you're not telling me that there haven't been days in our five years of doing this show
Starting point is 00:15:24 That it hasn't happened in a long time. No, I'm just saying but like oh maybe like long weekend maybe you weren't planning on coming until cutting stems that was my thinking like we had to record why would I not be cutting coming in no but maybe you were coming in it wasn't we're going to end this it wasn't it was so
Starting point is 00:15:43 it was unnecessary because Rio was ready for the day however I do understand where you were coming you were coming from a good place now it did not come it was not it did not come with malicious intent I wasn't like, hey, Ria, don't miss the meeting.
Starting point is 00:15:59 It did not come with... It just felt like a targeted attack. It just... You said this ruined my death. Yeah. It was poor rain I was driving into work. Yeah, yeah. It was a bad time.
Starting point is 00:16:07 Yeah. But you had a lovely weekend on the Cape. And then you guys had to pay me. Pay me because you lost a bet. Yeah. Yes, we did. And you know what? I'm glad we can move on from this.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Yeah. You had a lovely weekend? Yeah, on the Cape. And the Vineyard was dead. Yeah. Flying out of the year. End of the summer, everybody gets out early.
Starting point is 00:16:28 School starts. You know, school started a little bit earlier this year for some places. Like, normally I always think school starts after Labor Day when you're in, you know, grade school, high school. And I saw a lot of kids, yes, a lot of kids starting school this week, Tuesday. But I also saw on social media a lot of kids starting school like last week. Wow. Does part of you miss going to, like, grade school? Nope.
Starting point is 00:16:55 I don't know. Not even a little bit. Definitely not great school. But like, I liked high school. But just the idea of, like, you come home at, like, 2.33 and your days over, you have nothing to do. Sometimes I miss, um... It's nice having a routine, but... Yeah, sometimes I miss, like, studying just because I almost wish I could do it better now.
Starting point is 00:17:17 You think you would be better at it now? I think I... Well, yes. If any of us went back to a fourth grade, I hope we would be... No, I said high school. Oh, high school. Hey, you, you know, you ever want to go? back to school. No, no. I see the thing is I don't. I don't want to go back to school at all. I just
Starting point is 00:17:30 think, you know, as you grow up, you learn a little bit more and you think, I could have done better. It was very easy to just study and do your homework, and I could have done those things. And I chose not to. Because you were too popular. It definitely makes you think more of why your, why parents would get so frustrated when we didn't try all the time. I had a thought the other day. I was thinking about raising my kids. Okay. Are you going to be, this is a stupid question for you. Are you going to be a strict parent? Fran's going to be a helicopter mom. No, no. I think I will fall somewhere in between only because love you mom,
Starting point is 00:18:11 you're probably listening, but she was like that and a lot of times it was very tough. So I do feel like too strict. Yeah. Not like too strict personal wise like friends or doing the punishments, things like that. But, But, like, expectations when it came to school. Okay. We're really, we're very high. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:31 And that took a toll on me. Your siblings. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, I think it's an oldest thing. Yeah, definitely. They were way harder on my sister. Yeah. So it's just something that, you know, you are conscious of when you get to be a parent.
Starting point is 00:18:47 I had that thought. I was like, you know what? I'm not, I'm going to be chill when it comes to school. Yeah. Like, I don't want you to fail. But I'm not going to get mad at you if you fail. a test. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:56 Is that how your parents were? They gave up on me after a point because I was really good in school as a kid, like elementary middle school. They gave up in you. And I was, they always talk about this. There was one year, you know, those state tests you have to take.
Starting point is 00:19:11 There was one year, I got nothing wrong. Like, legit, I got nothing wrong. And the school was like, whoa. And so my parents held onto this forever. They were like, What grade are we talking? I don't remember specifically,
Starting point is 00:19:24 but my parents always talk about early. early years. It was like, what color is this? Sometime between second to fourth grade. Second to fourth grade. Whatever. So they thought I was... That's when they do a lot of testing in those ages. So they thought I was a kid genius. Like they were like, holy fuck. She didn't get anything wrong. So once I got to high school, they were like, remember when you were a kid and you got nothing wrong on that test? And I just totally didn't care about school at all once I got
Starting point is 00:19:47 to high school. So my grades got really bad. And they were really angry with me and then they gave up at a point. Speaking of schools, well, because we can bring it up quickly because we obviously have a ton to talk about with everything with Don't worry, darling. Who knows where the Kardashian West
Starting point is 00:20:09 children will be going. It could be Donda. At least they are going to school. It could be, it could be, what was shit? What was the name of the school that they go to? He was like, they're not going to this school. I forget. Something Canyon. Laurel Canyon? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, maybe that.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Why does that sound so familiar? Because I think it's the school that a lot of famous people's kids go to. But Kanye is very much back on Instagram this weekend. If you miss that, we're not going to talk too much into it. Laurel Canyon is a movie with Christian Bale and Francis McDormann and Kate Beck and South. Maybe that's what. That sounds familiar. No, but it is a place in the Hollywood Hills.
Starting point is 00:20:48 Well, you know, the thing was that... It is a private school. It is a private school, yeah. and then but you know like sometimes when you start when people really air out their drama you have no choice but to form an opinion because you're just keep reading it like Kanye kept posting the screenshots of oh we're trying I'm trying to co-parent my kids aren't going to school they're going to donda and then it was like oh he then he went for Chris and the screenshot of the text being like leave Chris alone and then he also posted um his ideas of splitting, like certain days at Donda, certain days at the other school. And in my head, I'm like, oh, that just won't work. You know, in parent trap when they're, like,
Starting point is 00:21:34 trying to think of how they're gonna stay together. And she's crying, and she's like, we, you know, Annie can stay with me for half the year and then go to you. And they're like, well, they can't. And Chessie's in the back, she's like, well, they can't go to two schools during the year. That was me reading that. I was like, well, they can't split the week
Starting point is 00:21:50 to schools. That's ridiculous. They can't. That would be absurd. That's just like... A lot of different curriculums. Yeah, teachers can't handle that. That would never work.
Starting point is 00:21:58 But apparently, you know, page 6 is reporting that they have had some co-parenting discussions that now have gone well. And he's very much against Gap, Adidas. He's going for his collect. I thought he was... He's working for Gap. No, but he's... He was very angry with everyone. And Adidas.
Starting point is 00:22:19 He works with Gap and Adidas. Yeah. He's angry with all of them. Yeah. Weirdly. What? Adidas? No, he is Adidas.
Starting point is 00:22:27 Oh, no, no. He's mad at all of them. Because Drake is Nike. Yeah, yeah. Are you saying he's not mad at them? He is. I didn't know he was mad at Gap. I thought he was mad at the reception of the trash bags.
Starting point is 00:22:40 No, no, no. I think he's also mad because with Adidas and Gap, they've both taken, he's mad because they've taken his collaborations. easy, like, and now Adidas makes very similar-looking gear that is not technically easy. It's Adidas, but they're just kind of copying the designs. And then Gap, he was saying the same thing with Gap. Like Gap, they have the Gap Kanye shirt, but then they're also making one that's, you know, very, very similar to the Kanye Gap design. That's just the way the fashion world goes these days.
Starting point is 00:23:17 That's the way the world works. It's like iPhone, Samsung. Well, he is very, he does not like that. Okay. He's very unhappy with that. I'm just... He's a lot of, a lot of people, you know, he was posted in photos of every headshot of all the C-suite members of all companies.
Starting point is 00:23:35 You didn't report him? No. Not this time around. You might need to. It didn't. Well, there was only certain things that he's still, but he looks, look, there was one when he said his lawyers told him. He can't talk about, he was either Gap or Ditas. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:23:52 somebody from one of those places. He's like, you can't talk about Gap or D's for the next 10 days. Like, this is coming from your lawyer. And so he just made the caption, like, we'll be talking about this 10 days from now. Is it illegal to post, like, he's posting people who work for Gap or like, just their faces? I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:24:11 I feel like that has to be against something. I have no idea. I mean, look, those, those, their faces are on a public website. But like, when you're like his level of like putting you on blast. Well, this is not really the same. it's kind of something I was reading. Probably falls into the harassment. If Instagram was going to put a ruling on this,
Starting point is 00:24:30 I would probably guess that's where they would fall. I mean, it's like the Army Hammer documentary. They're using that girl, House of Effie's, Instagram pictures and stuff. She said she declined to be a part of the interview, but they're using her stuff anyway because it was public. Public, yep, yep. Yep, exactly. You haven't watched that?
Starting point is 00:24:50 Not yet. No, got to get a reply. Yeah, that's like a whole other thing, like downloading Discovery Plus to do that. But I guess we might as well get a head star if HBO is going to become that. Probably. All right. Topics. Let's get into the rest of the podcast.
Starting point is 00:25:03 We're going to be talking about all of the Don't worry darling drama from the Venice Film Festival. There's a lot to break down. So that's going to be the main topic of this podcast. And then we are going to have a little bachelorette recap that is going to be from our show, cutting stems, which we do on YouTube after the shows. They're live. It's going to be with Kelly Kieg. So we're going to put that audio into this podcast.
Starting point is 00:25:24 So like to mix it up every once in a while. Sometimes, you know, people ask like for cutting stems to be in podcast form. And we have obviously created two different things. But when Trent is not here and Kelly is going to participate with us, it's just the same thing. So instead of doing back to back, we will be including our entire cutting stems cut down so that it fits. the right podcast for, but two days we'll be talking about. Yep, so let's get
Starting point is 00:25:57 into it talking about, don't worry, darling. If you're looking for a new way to relax or unwind, look no further than Dipsy. Dipsy is an audio app full of short, sexy stories designed to turn you on. Each Dipsy audio stories features characters that

Starting point is 00:26:45 This is all anybody could talk about right now is all of the drama unfolding about, Don't worry darling, the new movie directed by Olivia Wilde starring Florence Pugh and Harry Stiles also Gemma Chan and Chris Pine and Nick Kroll. So just a little background information, Olivia Wild and Harry Styles. They are slash were dating. Everyone is confused about their relationship status at this point in time. There was drama about whether or not Olivia Wild actually fired Shia LaBuff and was replaced with Harry Styles.
Starting point is 00:27:18 Florence Pugh is also, there were text. revealed this weekend between Florence Pugh and Shia where Florence was alleged. Alleged. Alleged. Nobody knows if these are real. Where Florence was telling Shia, she was not afraid of him. That's silly. Let's have a conversation. And then Shia was like, I'm off the film.
Starting point is 00:27:34 Yeah. So there's a lot going on behind the scenes that nobody is 100% sure about. But what people can kind of decipher is the fact that Florence Pugh was not happy with the way stuff went down on set of don't worry, darling. Not sure if it had to do with Shia LaBuff. Not sure if it had to do with Harry Stiles. not sure if it had to do with Olivia Wild. Could be all of those things. Could be a combination of all things. Could be a combination of Harry and Olivia's relationship.
Starting point is 00:27:56 Could be a combination of not working well with Shia or Harry or whatever it is. She did not have a good time in set. It seems or afterwards, the post-production of this film has been an absolute disaster. Now, press has begun for Don't worry, darling. It was reported that Florence Pugh was not going to do any press beside the Venice Film Festival. And then it was announced that she will not be doing press at the Venice Film Festival. She will walk the carpet, watch the movie, and immediately leave Venice. Yeah, they tried to spin that as that has always been the plan, that her schedule was very short because she is on a tight schedule from her director while they're filming Dune.
Starting point is 00:28:39 It was like, oh, this has actually been Florence's plan the entire time because she has to get back to filming Dune. She's got to be in and out. But she did not participate in the press, little press conference. that they all do. When Olivia Wilde was asked about the drama, she kind of gave, she gave an answer that was like, oh, you know, I don't really feel the need
Starting point is 00:28:59 to discuss any tabloid, fodder, like all those things. Which, you know, some of it is tabloid fodder, but also some of it's like, what's happening? How about the video? Like, how about, like, how about Shia's direct response? That's not, that's not an alleged response. He responded.
Starting point is 00:29:17 That's what he, that's it. That was his, He wrote you an open letter. And he had that, she had that answer. And then another reporter tried to be like, well, can I ask a question? And they were like, we already answered that. I would like, well, he's like, I don't think you did. It's about, you know, I want to ask about Shia LaBuff.
Starting point is 00:29:34 And the moderator was like, nope, nope, nope, nope, already answered, already answered. Already answered. So it really, honestly, I don't know if anybody wanted to be there. Chris Pines certainly didn't seem like. Chris Pines seemed like he was high or completely checked out. the entire time he looked happy was when Florence Pee walked down the red carpet and he was smiling taking pictures of her. To me that was like a hey we're going to support Ms. Flo here and we don't like anybody else. The group photos were so strategically staged from the group
Starting point is 00:30:05 photos on the red carpet to the seating arrangement in the theater. Harry and Olivia were never next to each other. Harry and Florence were never next to each other. Olivia and Florence were never next to each other. They were all strategically placed away from each other. There's a video where it looks like somebody is trying to place Harry next to Olivia in a picture. He, like, acts like he isn't hearing what's happening. I don't know if they, I don't know if Harry and Olivia either are fighting or they went in with saying, like, we are, we're not giving them anything. Like, we're not giving them any couple content at all, which honestly is kind of, it seems backwards to me. Because if I was their PR rep or somebody, if, like, I want to put.
Starting point is 00:30:49 put a good spin or just try and distract from the floor and stuff. I would say, Olivia, there's a lot going on right now. Your name is being dragged. But people will talk if you and Harry take pictures together on the carpet. But it could be a professional thing where they're like, hey, I know. They probably looked at it as like, hey, if we don't speak to each other and we keep this strictly about the movie, people respect us more. Which people are having the opposite reaction.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Maybe Florence is so disgusted by their personal relationship. As somebody who dates somebody in this office, when Marty even walks past my desk, I act like I don't know him. Like it's just not even like, not really, but like my, I get so nervous that people are going to be like, why, you know what I mean? Like, why are these two interacting in the office? Which by the way, you were kind of like, you were like that all previously as well. Yeah. Yeah, I just like, you know what I mean? It's like in my head, I'm like, I don't want people to think that we're like, flirting at work.
Starting point is 00:31:47 So we're just not going to... You've always kept to professional. Yeah. Just I'm not going to associate with you. Which I make sense for what Harry and Olivia would do too. It's just like, I don't know, it just... I think if they... You can stay professional, but, you know...
Starting point is 00:32:01 No, but if they were like taking pictures... ...at all. Right, right. To not even speak at all is taking it to a whole other level. Yeah, now I do think the one thing that spun me around to this was we'll talk about Spitgate, but he kissed... There's a nice smooch with Nickroll between... during the standing ovation, Harry Siles and Nicole gave each other a nice big smooch. And there's a video from behind them.
Starting point is 00:32:24 And it looks like, like, Harry and Olivia both lean past Chris Pine. And Harry says something to Olivia. So there is interaction. And in my mind, I picture Harry being like, I'm going to kiss Nick. And Olivia being like, okay. And then he went to kiss Nick. No, no, I saw the video behind. I saw the video behind and you can see he mouths good job.
Starting point is 00:32:47 and she says thank you. Oh, that's it? I feel like that seemed pretty like in the... I'm very bad at lip reading. And I also think people who think they're really good at lip reading aren't that good at I think if you read it is a good job and she and she says thank you. Okay. That's what I took it as after people said that's what it was.
Starting point is 00:33:04 I think they're still together. I think that they're just, I think they're still together. People are just trying to run with anything and say they're broken up, they're fighting, blah, blah. I think they're still together. I think they went into it like, this is about the movie. I don't want people talking about our relationship. and I was taking pictures together and that backfired on them and it went to oh they hate each other.
Starting point is 00:33:22 Right. It's like you can be as professional as you want and I understand that mindset but yes, it's like also we all know you're dating. It's not like it's some big secret. Right. That's also something that. Okay. That's something that's bothering me about Harry Styles lately.
Starting point is 00:33:38 Yeah. We know you're dating, bro. We all know your dating. You know what I mean? Like, okay, you don't want a scrapbook. You don't want a public relationship. Like everyone knows your fucking. dating. Give it a rest. Okay, you want to have some of your life private. I get it. But like,
Starting point is 00:33:53 unfortunately, everyone knows you're dating. So just give it a rest. And if they don't want to take a picture together, that's fine, but you know, talk. Give her a little kiss on the cheek at the end of the movie or something. She just directed a film. It's just, did you see when he walked on the carpet and Olivia was in between him and Nick Kroll? And he like, fist bumps him in front of her and didn't even look at her. The way they avoided eye contact from what it's seem from the videos and stuff we saw, the way they avoided eye contact makes you think that it was planned. Oh, 100%.
Starting point is 00:34:25 Yeah, no, I think that they definitely planned to not interact. Because it's like they tried so hard not to interact that it became so obvious that they were actively ignoring each other. Just let loose, Harry. Just be yourself. That's your girlfriend. We know it's your girlfriend. Let it go.
Starting point is 00:34:41 In their mind, be like, if we're doing all this PDA, Florence, it's going to look bad. Well, that's what I think that they were like thinking in their heads, we need to be professional. But there's a difference between being professional and looking like you guys actually despise each other. That's what it came across as. Like, you don't need to do PDA. They don't need to be kissing and holding hands. But like, you can talk. All like not wanting to be next to Olivia for that one picture.
Starting point is 00:35:08 Yeah. It's all, it was all really pretty wild. And there was, you know, one clip of multiple clips, really of Chris. Pine being, it was just seemingly so zoned out and uninterested. And one clip was going viral that was funny because it was just like, Harry being like, you know,
Starting point is 00:35:29 it's just, it's just this movie just like feels like a movie, you know? Like it's just like, you gotta go to the theater. It just like feels like a real movie. And he's, Chris Pine's seeing next to him like, what the heck is this guy talking about? Or maybe he just wasn't listening at all. He was that disengaged.
Starting point is 00:35:46 but Monday night the spit scene around the world or alleged spit scene around the world this TikTok or it wasn't even TikTok it was both talk of shame
Starting point is 00:36:02 the talk of shame I think was the first person I'd saw post it I believe is the Instagram account and it was like oh my God did Harry spit on Chris Pine this video goes viral where it looks like Harry in the process of sitting down
Starting point is 00:36:22 makes a spitting motion and at the same time Chris Pine looks down at his leg and laughs like kind of like a oh my God did he really just do that kind of laugh is what it seemed and it absolutely blew up everyone went wild like oh my God why would Harry Seiles spit on Chris Pine
Starting point is 00:36:44 it really, you, and your mind tells you, your brain, the smart part of your brain is saying there's really no logical explanation for hair style spitting on Chris Pine, but your eyeballs are telling you, God, it really looks like he spit on Chris Pine. It really, really looked like he spit on Chris Pine. And I know people zoomed down and slowed down and they tried to find the spit blob and they couldn't see it.
Starting point is 00:37:10 I rewatch this video 300 times and I watched someone new, each time. Olivia's face looked like she went, he spit. Chris's face looked like, did I just get spit on?
Starting point is 00:37:21 And Harry's face looked like, I'm gonna act like I didn't just do that. Like, everybody had a different reaction. And then there were like, Chris Prine was looking for his sunglasses and then he found them. I saw that.
Starting point is 00:37:32 I hate that angle. He was just probably the truth. It looked like he was like puffing his chest out. And then he did that little wave. But the only thing is the other angle. Maybe Harry's Isiles a secretly a monster.
Starting point is 00:37:42 The other angle though. It's definitely not. It looked like he ended up talking to Chris Pine like after. It looked like they were chatting and they were friendly, but maybe he accidentally spit on Chris Pine didn't realize he did it. And Chris Pine was like, you know when somebody accidentally spits on you and they don't realize you do it and then you make a face and you're like, but you don't address it? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:59 But I just popped in my head just now. What if someone in the crowd yelled something like, we love you here? He put like explicit and he just like heard that Chris Pine. He's like, wow. Or like something had nothing to do with Harry. There are so many possibilities. an endless number of possibilities here. He could have, it doesn't look like his mouth is moving,
Starting point is 00:38:18 but people were like, oh, maybe Harry said something, like under his breath. That's a good. And that got the reaction from Chris Pine. Maybe a bad breath. Or maybe Chris Pine, like, he really, you know, he had his sunglasses and he had his sunglasses in his hand, and then they were in his lap.
Starting point is 00:38:34 And then people were thinking that maybe he was so zoned out that he, in his mind was like, oh, where are my sunglasses go? and he was like, ah, I'm so silly. They're right here in my lap, and he laughs at themselves. Which people do, I mean, I did that literally this weekend. I was taking out stuff from my bag, and I said, oh my God, where the heck's my phone? And I was like, it's in my hand.
Starting point is 00:38:56 And then I laughed at myself. So that's also possible. The only reason why I kind of think that that's not what happened is because of Olivia Wilde's face. Like she reacted like something happened. But maybe she also just reacted because Harry Stiles came in and sat down. And like, it's not the sunglasses. He puts it down. He doesn't say anything to anybody.
Starting point is 00:39:16 He, like, physically, like. No, that's what I'm saying. He physically puts them down. And then he could have just had, like, a split second thought of, like, wait a second. Where did I put my sunglasses? And then he's like, ah. It's just for how long he hung on, like, hands together, not clapping and, like, looking down. No, I know.
Starting point is 00:39:32 I know. I know. It's the timing is very suspicious. Now, Chris Pines, rep, put out a statement today. Chris Pines rep put out a statement today that said, you know, this did not happen. Ridiculous story. This is a ridiculous story, a complete fabrication, and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation. Just to be clear, Harry Stiles did not spit on Chris Pond.
Starting point is 00:40:03 There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist. I don't, like logically, that makes the most sense that he, like, did not. I just can't imagine Chris Pine seems like a go with the flow kind of guy. I'd imagine those two would get along. If Harry's getting along so well with Nick Crowe, like, why would Chris Pine? What would Chris Pine have done? That's a logical explanation. The video, I mean, the video screams something happened.
Starting point is 00:40:37 But the video screams at Harris-Siles spit on Chris Pine, and that's the more fun angle. and I see everyone commenting like, oh, come on, let us just have fun with this. Let us just believe Harry Styles spent on Chris Pine. Obviously, someone needs to state that that didn't happen. Do I actually believe Harris-Sall spent on Chris Pine? Yes.
Starting point is 00:40:54 No, I don't. I don't. I don't, but I want to. If he doesn't publicly address it at, like, a concert, I think he did. No, I really don't think he did. I'd love to believe he did. I really would.
Starting point is 00:41:06 Trust me, with all my being, I'd love to. I don't think he did. that just doesn't seem like a Harry thing to do. Well, maybe he's different than we expected. I really don't think. I really don't think so. I just feel like we've heard so many nice stories. It'd be so out of character.
Starting point is 00:41:25 Ellen was the nice one forever. But there were always rumblings from the people that worked with her that were, that went against that. Nobody believed them. Maybe Harry was justified in doing it. Maybe Crispin did something crazy. Maybe people were also saying maybe it was like an inside joke. Maybe they...
Starting point is 00:41:43 Prank Whores! Prank Whores! Hey, people on movie sets love pranks. But like this cast out of everyone doesn't seem to them's like, hey, guys, let's joke around and spit on my face. I think the movie was pretty heavy. The movie was... He didn't spit on his face. He spit on his leg. Wait, what? He didn't spit on his face. He spit on his leg. I'm... I've been looking at his...
Starting point is 00:42:05 You dirty little whore! You thought he spit on his face? I thought that's why he's... like, like, no, he looks down at his leg. Like, Harry spit on his pant. Like, God, get your head out of the gutter. No, I think he's, I think he felt a little, like, thing on his face. No.
Starting point is 00:42:22 No. You don't feel, unless he audibly heard and spit, I wouldn't notice that someone spit on my leg. Well, he looked down at his leg. That's what I'm saying. He looked down and there's, maybe there's a spot. That's why people are saying it was the sunglasses because he looked down and grabbed his sunglasses. He doesn't rub his face. Maybe he caught a little flare If he went
Starting point is 00:42:44 If he went A mess he did Wiped his face Throws it off Damn, I don't know This whole time I've been As if Because a spit isn't
Starting point is 00:42:57 You might catch a stray On your face No I really I don't know I never Never got the spit on the face angle
Starting point is 00:43:07 No I really thought it was pants That's the whole point of It's like, the timing. The timing is so perfect that when it looks like Harry is spitting, he looks down in his pants. Also, I think he would have had to really lean backward. Like, he would have had to really twist his head if he was spitting on his face. Chris was, Chris Pryne's head was behind him. Olivia does look down right when he does it.
Starting point is 00:43:35 So she didn't, it doesn't seem like she saw it. Yeah, I mean, I think that the tension. She's like he's going to do it. I think the tension we see. in the video is also just the tension that went along with the entire festival, you know? Yeah. Because everyone's like, oh, look at Olivia's face.
Starting point is 00:43:51 It's like, no, I think everybody was incredibly uncomfortable in the setting. And there, look, there is a moment. There is a moment when everyone's cheering and they're clapping and everyone's cheering for Florence. And there is a moment when Olivia leans back and Florence leans back and they both clap at each other. They make eye contact.
Starting point is 00:44:11 They clap at each other. but it was about a three second moment. It was nice. It was performative, but it was nice. Did you mention that her stylist posted? No, yeah. Flo's stylist posted Miss Flo. Did she see what she posted on her story earlier that day?
Starting point is 00:44:29 She wrote like, there's always more to the story. Yeah, she did. No, Olivia Wilde stylist posted that. Oh, I thought that was Flood. No. Oh, yeah. Olivia Wild stylist. She was not why.
Starting point is 00:44:38 She was a battle of the stylist. Olivia Wild stylist posted there's always. something more to the story and Flows Silas wrote Miss Flo. I like that people are calling Was she called Flo before this? No, no. Everyone's called her Florence. Like I don't, this was not.
Starting point is 00:44:54 It was full name, Florence Pugh. Yeah, now she's Miss Flo. And by the way, she is getting praise for the movie. She's apparently great. The movie itself. Yeah, Harry Salis is not getting praise. Is not getting great. It's not getting great reviews.
Starting point is 00:45:06 I heard deer in the headlights, Harry Stiles. Review of his acting. Well, we'll have to watch it ourselves. But it's mixed. Like, I saw some bad ones about Harry, but I also saw some ones that were like, he's fine. I think some people want to hate, I want, they want to hate him as an actor. Because he's so successful as a musician. Yeah, I really just, I, I, I want him to be bad.
Starting point is 00:45:26 Sometimes I think when Noah catches wind that a movie's got in bad reviews, he's, he just wants, he wants, he wants to read all the bad ones. No, no, not true. I just think that, like, 30 and I, not, Ranta made, you can have a bad score, but this seems like a movie where it's like awesome. or a type movie where if it has a 39% it's not a good sign that's not gonna be like a fun bad movie it's like a bad bad movie now you uh I heard it's like a bad black mirror
Starting point is 00:45:56 episode I mean don't look up had a lot of Oscar buzz that was more like comedic and yeah I guess but it still's a 56 on Rotten Tomatoes that's not great came out I thought it was like more like in the 70s yeah but it's 56 but I would assume it's only going to go
Starting point is 00:46:14 39 is only going to go down No you never know When more people see it also in audience It's also at now at 43 so it's already gone up Hmm Hmm It's actually already gone up It's gonna make so much money either way
Starting point is 00:46:30 Because I feel like people are just going to Oh every yes absolutely Absolutely the drama behind this is absolutely insane The fact that Florence also really has not She is In her previous movie movies. She has written about them on Instagram. She puts them in the caption. She talks about the process. The photos and content she is putting out herself from the Venice Film Festival has
Starting point is 00:46:53 nothing to do with the movie and everything to do with the makeup, the dress, the moment. Thank you so much for being invited to the film festival. It's such an honor to be here. The movie is not mentioned. The most telling thing I think was her one interview she did in her answer. Did you see that? Yeah, she said like there's, she thinks it's empowering for women to say no on and off camera. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe she doesn't like the movie. You know how Machine Gun Kelly said
Starting point is 00:47:18 he doesn't promote movies he thinks are bad that he's in? Maybe she does not like this movie. Yeah. That's probably like true in some sense. Yeah. But I think she also hates and I saw that some were saying a lot of guys like the movie and a lot of girls don't like the movie. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:47:34 I think they're trying to spin it now into this whole like it was made for the male view and all that, which The male gaze. Yeah, yeah, the male gays. Like, I think it's trying to be spun into all these different things. Right. And when Olivia's, like, Olivia's angle was more like, no, this is.
Starting point is 00:47:50 Like, she's a female director. So, like, just let her have it. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah. Like, interesting. Whatever her view on it was. Shilobh has to be so happy he is in this movie. I don't know what goes through Shilabuff's brain.
Starting point is 00:48:04 Or maybe none of this would have happened if Shialbuff was in the movie. That's true. That's true. Harris Hulls wouldn't be with Olivia Wiles. I mean, who knows. I saw some... I want answers. I saw some post, too, that I don't think I've ever realized
Starting point is 00:48:16 or I don't know the legitimacy to it, that Florence and Jason Siddakis were, like, friendly. Not, not, like, not friendly in a friendly way, but, like, they were friends, and Florence kind of picked up on the energy between Harry and Olivia on set and thought it was inappropriate. Maybe... Maybe Florence is a lot of.
Starting point is 00:48:40 not happy with the way Harry and Olivia's relationship unfolded. Maybe she disagrees with how Olivia and Harry both went about it. I also think actors and actresses and directors all have a pretty big ego sometimes. And I think, like you said, like if you have consistently been praised for your roles, which she has, that if you are hearing rumors that you're about to be in something that's, like, not going to be as great as the other stuff you've done. Like you said, you're like, ah, I'm just, in this movie, but everyone's saying she's great. Like, all the reviews are like, Florence
Starting point is 00:49:14 is amazing, as always. It's seeming very personal. Olivia and Harry are going to take the biggest hit. It does seem very personal. Olivia Wilde's going to take a huge hit from this. It is. It's a director. Which sucks, which, like, it does suck. And whether it's her own doing or not, you know,
Starting point is 00:49:31 this is her second movie she is directing. And if now, like, its studios are going to be hesitant to... But even studios, but, like, if you're an actress in Hollywood, do you want to go work with Olivia Wild now? I'm sure she's not. a monster. I would hit up Florence and be like so. And here's a thing.
Starting point is 00:49:45 And I really don't think that. I truly don't think she's this terrible person. And I truly believe there are some people who can work very well together and there are some people who can't work well together. And Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh maybe just really don't work well together. But I'm sure another actress could work lovely with Olivia Wilde. Have you heard Beanie say anything bad about Olivia Wild? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:08 You know? Book Smart was a great movie. I think Harry is the X factor here. I think there's other outliers that make this situation what it is. Definitely. It's exploded. It's just taken on a life of its own, which unfortunately yet has a lot to do with Harry and Olivia's relationship, which I don't know if she anticipated or not. But it definitely took over the story.
Starting point is 00:50:34 Just quickly on the subject of the Venice Film Festival, though, did you see the video? of Brendan Fraser crying. Yes. Oh. I'm so, I hope, I'm very excited to see the movie now. Like, what I would just, my heart couldn't handle it. Between that and the Food Fighters. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:50:54 The concert in memory of Taylor Hawkins and his son was playing the drums and Dave Girl's crying. My hero. And I was like, oh, my God. And they kept checking in on, like, did you notice during the performance, they kept looking back at him and making sure it was okay? Like, I was, and the kid was. So good.
Starting point is 00:51:10 He was pouring his heart out on those drums. So good. It was unbelievable. But now that's how the Brendan Fraser really tugged in my heart strength. I was like, this guy has been through so much. And now he's going to be in this movie. I'm like, Sadie Sink, I guess is in this movie too. And she's beautiful dress.
Starting point is 00:51:26 Yeah. Sometimes like I was reading a, her stylist, I believe, I posted about the dress. And the things people do for these events and the hoops you have to jump through and all these things is pretty crazy. Like, Sadie didn't try on the dress until like the day of the film festival. Crazy, crazy. But everybody, everybody looks stunning.
Starting point is 00:51:48 I loved Florence. All of her outfits were spectacular. The purple and the red carpet dress. The red carpet dress was amazing. And I love the purple. Like, I want that as... I wish I had that when I was in Italy. She just strolling with her fucking April spritz like a badass.
Starting point is 00:52:03 Apparently they posted that like during the press conference. Yeah, yeah. She arrived like at the... I think when that was going on. While drinking, which is amazing. And fashion-wise, I actually, I thought Olivia, I loved Olivia's yellow dress too. And I could have done,
Starting point is 00:52:21 I could have done without Harry's Elton John glasses. I really liked the actual outfits. I know he was getting shit for the giant collars. And he's always going to wear something different. He's not just going to show up in a regular suit, so I'm fine with that. But the Ellen John glasses, I kind of didn't love. Wouldn't that be cool if he did wear a suit?
Starting point is 00:52:37 It would be so unexpected. Yeah, I would love to just see him in a suit. He would look so hot. I would love to just see him in a suit. Yeah, I mean, he looked great regardless. He always looks good in my mind. I just want answers. Was there anything else?
Starting point is 00:52:50 No, I just want answers. Yeah. Give us answers. I don't think we're ever going to get them. It's so everyone's like, we need a documentary about the behind the scenes of this movie. Or I saw a tweet, a reunion hosted by Andy Cohen. It would be unreal. So good.
Starting point is 00:53:05 Which would be amazing. Somebody should make a skid of that. Like a comment. Comedy show should make a skit of, don't worry, darling, cast. Everyone's playing a different character and then someone plays Andy Cohen hosting that. If SNL was still good, they would do that. Yeah, yeah, it would be very good. But, oh, all right.
Starting point is 00:53:22 Yeah, I don't think we're ever going to know what happens. All right, we're going to get into our Bastrorette Fantasy Suite recap. Starting point is 00:55:08 Yes. We had a two-night's Bachelorette situation. I'll say they are milking this for all it's worth. Monday, Tuesday, next Tuesday, and then the finale on the 20th. Utters. Yeah, we're milking it over here. Yeah. Really milking it.
Starting point is 00:55:49 Yeah, they are. Milking it good. Don't be afraid. Can't stop milking it. We'll treat your utter shit out of this. These last two episodes plus the two episodes we have coming up easily could have been two episodes. Without question. I think that always towards the end we'll get hit with a double two episodes in a week somewhere.
Starting point is 00:56:06 And usually it ends up being the finale. Never has it been this soon. Like we have, it was two episodes this week, there's one next week, and then there's another week with the finale. Why not put both with them next week? They changed, like two weeks ago or a week ago, they changed the schedule because clearly, something is happening in real time, which I think we took away from the trailer there that we just saw. You can kind of see, like, it looks like Rachel and seems like Tino are,
Starting point is 00:56:35 and it looks more like a house. So I'm guessing they're in their little hideaway house and shit hits the fan, a la when, you know, we watched Ari break up with Beck. Exactly. Oh, my favorite fucking, my favorite thing to rip apart. So I really do feel like that's the path we're headed. Honestly, Monday night, all the hometown fantasy sweet dates went very well except for Johnny, but it was just like, it was Johnny's time.
Starting point is 00:57:08 I don't think anybody thought Johnny was going farther than this point. I don't even think that Johnny, that that conversation with Johnny was that bad. I think that we all knew that this was going to happen. He was saying it to his family. He was saying it to anybody who would listen to basically. She knew it too. Yeah, Gabby knew it too. They had a lovely little day.
Starting point is 00:57:25 They post up on the beach. The minute they start talking, you can physically see how uncomfortable Johnny is with talking about, like, talking about engagement or just, you know, worrying that he's not enough for her right now. And I liked what Gabby said, something along the lines of like, you know, if it was a different time, different circumstances. Maybe we can make this work. But, you know, hopefully this experience was good for you and it's good for me. And they left on great terms. A nice hug goodbye. Yep.
Starting point is 00:57:48 I did appreciate, though. And that means ABC is listening. they left him on the beach. She set sail on the boat back to wherever, left them there on the island waving. Yes, we need to bring back those departures. Yes. One thing they also brought back was not making all the guys stay in the same room after the fantasy suites. They stopped doing that, which is a long time coming. That was always pretty uncomfortable. So uncomfortable. It's kind of funny, though. Yeah. I hear it. Like, I'm squeaking. Oh, my God. Where is my mattress? I know. It's a tough. It's a tough. All chunked up. My mattress.
Starting point is 00:58:22 So much junk. So much junk. Tino, Eric, and Avin all had their hometown. I am just fantasy suites on Monday. Getting together. I'm sorry. There's too many episodes. It's lasting too long.
Starting point is 00:58:38 Let's talk about something else. Let's just get to the end. Let's just get to the end. They all had great... You guys watch the Army Hammer? No. No, not yet. They all had great fantasy suite.
Starting point is 00:58:47 I've got to write a thing about it tomorrow. What's that? There's a download discovery. have to figure out. Oh, yeah, I get it. I'll give you my login if you want. I had to make one through Amazon for the whole thing. I'll forget to cancel it probably. Let us in a group chat or something. Yeah, yeah, I'll play. Send it. Anyway. We had to say she atria for a second. We had to let her, you know, let her get it out of her system. She answered. I was making a joke. You guys want to talk about something else?
Starting point is 00:59:08 And she brought up another topic. And I had to reply. She asked a question. Was I going to ignore her? Any thoughts on Monday's hometown? If I say Home Down, one more time. Fantasy sweets. You don't even know what we're talking about. I have thoughts. Fantasy sweets?
Starting point is 00:59:27 The hometown dates? Yeah, I don't know what I'm talking about either. The fantasy sweets. It took Gabby a long time to jump off that deck playing thing. That's what I remember. She was scared of that. She made it clear. She kept saying, I don't want to make a deal.
Starting point is 00:59:38 That lasted for like 15 minutes. It lasted too long. I'll go ahead and say. They really stretched it out. It wasn't even that high up, I'll be honest. Like, you know, if you're afraid Heights, whatever, they always put somebody in an awkward position who hates heights.
Starting point is 00:59:49 this time it happens to be Gabby. I think out of all of Gabby's fantasy suites, I think that Eric was the best one, even leading up to what happened at the end. Like, I know that she had her time with Jason. She loved the tennis game with him. She loved hanging out with him, whatever. Who's the other guy for Gabby?
Starting point is 01:00:09 I forget. Jason? Besides Jason. Johnny. Johnny. Yeah. Johnny's was cute, whatever, fine, blah, blah, and then sent him packing.
Starting point is 01:00:17 But I think Eric start to finish even, you know, waking up the next day, all of that. It seemed very real. It seemed the most real relationship that she's. What did you guys think of Rachel telling Avin she was falling in love with him and then straight up telling Tino she loved him too? I think that Avin, I don't know if they edited it to look like he was the first one they went on the date with, but I think that she just was like so excited. I don't think that she would have said that if she had already gone on a Fantasy Suite date with Tino.
Starting point is 01:00:46 I think that she was waiting for Tino. I think she was exploring her options. I think she wanted to get in front of it. Be like, I think I'm falling for you. Just to, you know, it's her first time out of the gate. She's trying to seem like, all right, you know, we're telling the truth here. I am falling for you, whatever. And then Tino was like, I love you.
Starting point is 01:01:02 And she was like, thank fucking God. Yeah, yeah. That's the I love you I've been waiting for. I think that Rachel sees everything to be very shiny right now. And so I think she just wants to get engaged. She doesn't really care to who. No, she wants it to be Tino, I think. really? Yeah, I think so too.
Starting point is 01:01:18 I think it's definitely going to be Tino. I'm still stuck on that from the first episode. But I just think she wants to get engaged. And also the unfortunate timing of Harry Styles spitting on Chris Pine happening during this episode last night really hindered my viewing of the episode. It derailed me too. I had to watch it today. I didn't even watch last night. I had to watch it today. It just took over my life for 24 hours.
Starting point is 01:01:43 And it was on my TV and, you know, More important things happened online. What, um... Wear my robe, by the way. Yeah, you are. Just comment on the rope. My sexy cutting sense robe. It is very sexy.
Starting point is 01:01:55 It is very sexy. I love this robe. I love this robe. The... Seductive. Yeah. The... It's with your new apartment.
Starting point is 01:02:03 Yeah. Oh. The... Gabby and Eric had a great date, but it seemed like they had a conversation privately about how Eric felt about the other fantasy sweet dates. And then... My interpretation, because it just felt very forced and obviously producers have to approve that conversation happening, that I feel like a producer asked Eric after the fantasy suite, like, how'd it go? What did you guys talk about? He's like, oh, it was great. I voiced this concern. And they were probably like, well, what the f? You didn't do that on camera. You should definitely. How about you bring that up again? Because it just felt, it just felt so forced. And it felt like,
Starting point is 01:02:46 Gabby really didn't expect it, because Gabby's like, I thought we already talked about this off-camera. Why are we bringing this up again? I felt like producers pushed him to do that. And, of course, he probably is concerned. I know we get kind of tired of the, you sign up for this show, you know what fantasy sweets entails. I do think the feelings you have when it's actually happening,
Starting point is 01:03:12 you can't really control, so you have to just say them. Completely. But even still, I'll say this, like, I think you're 100% correct in the fact that they were like, all right, now you have to have that conversation. I do, yeah. And you can tell that nobody gave Gabby a heads up because her face, when he started saying that shit,
Starting point is 01:03:27 you could watch her shit. Yeah, she looked like she was like, why are we doing this on camera? So upset. Like, you could tell that she's, that she was not having that at all. And I agree that probably when you're in it, you think like, fuck this sucks.
Starting point is 01:03:39 Like, I know this is happening, whatever. Although, I do think that you should know by now that if you're doing this, It's going to suck. It's going to be horrible. The number one thing you don't do is kind of say, like, this is hurting my feelings. Yeah, yeah. You can say, like, I wish it wasn't happening.
Starting point is 01:03:54 This fucking sucks, but I respect you, whatever. Leave it at that because the minute you start making it seem like if you, because I think what Gabby takes away from Eric being like, oh, I'm upset by this. I don't want it to happen. Whatever is, you know, reading between the lines, I don't want you to sleep with anyone else. And being told, I can't explore this in the way that I'm supposed to makes it seem. like, all right, well, if I do, am I going to be judged? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:18 Dump me is everything that we had suddenly lost. It's kind of, it's a double-edged sword, and I feel you just got to keep that in your back pocket. Talk about it later. Be like, oh, my God, that was the hardest week of my life. Like, I just thinking about you with other people just killed me. I know you had to do it, but Jesus Christ, you know, like, save that conversation when you're clinking champagne over your engagement, you know.
Starting point is 01:04:38 Yeah, I agree. Preach. I agree. Tuesday night. Thank you. Which is tonight, which we just watched. watched was, was one very long breakup was Jason's fantasy sweet date. They had a great, they had a great day portion.
Starting point is 01:04:56 They played tennis. They laughed. They joke around. But Jason, like he said, he's a realist. He's a little too real, if he asked me. And I don't know, I'm guessing his family forced him to go on this show. It's because his mom was like, don't mess this up. And I feel like he's telling Gabby, I don't really know.
Starting point is 01:05:15 I don't really know you. I don't really know if any of this is real. I don't really know if I want to do any of this. And he did, they did get through that and agree to go into the fantasy suites. But in the morning, they showed a dead bee and a champagne glass. It was like, uh-oh. Ever a good sign? This didn't go well.
Starting point is 01:05:32 Normally that bees buzzing. It's always, right. Oh, my God. It's the bees and the birds and the bees are buzzing. How did I not say that? I don't know, Kelly. You always point out. They point out to the birds and the bees.
Starting point is 01:05:44 Every morning. time. Did I not say that? The bee was dead. The bee was dead in the glass. How? And I saw that and I went on. Very symbolic. I said nothing about it. That's literally the number one thing I say something about it though. I think I just said like, oh shit? We did. No, yeah, but I don't think she was
Starting point is 01:05:59 connecting it to the birds in the birds and the imagery there. Comparison. Wow. Powerful stuff. Wow. That's a all ABC. Powerful stuff. Excellent. Did they kill a bee and put it in the glass? Probably. Probably. I wouldn't put it past them. I wouldn't put it past one either. ABC hates B.
Starting point is 01:06:15 You put that out there. ABC is not saving the bees. They did not save the bees. They are not for the planet. It was probably crawling around the top of the glass and somebody went by and went, oh, they're probably breeding those bad, those bad lantern bugs.
Starting point is 01:06:30 That's how much they are. All right, now you're really, dude. I stepped on one of those yesterday. I did my part. Yeah, you did. Yeah, I stepped on the floor. Yeah, yeah, I stepped on one. I saw an already dead one the other day.
Starting point is 01:06:42 Yeah, and you were like, and I was like, oh, I'm going to stop on you more. Taken down everything. He broke the wings off. Taking down everything. And I said, ABC will love this. He submitted your own clip. I felt back next time.
Starting point is 01:07:00 That's where he's coming in the background. Aria PSA. To look out for the lantern bugs. Oh, yeah. The lantern bugs are ruining our life. Lantern bugs are here and they're here to attack. And you better attack them back. This has been going on for a while.
Starting point is 01:07:11 You know that, right? You know these lantern bugs have been... Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, my main concern is that they're attacking. I nod my head in this stupid chair squeaks. I hear that. They're attacking the... You're attacking the planet.
Starting point is 01:07:23 No, do you hear what I said? Trees. They're attacking the plants, yeah. Vineyards. Very important. Wine. The wine. The wine. I understand the rest of the planet is also one or five of the lanternbugs, but the vineyards were the first they started attacking, and we can't stand for it. We must step on it.
Starting point is 01:07:38 No, no. We must kill us. They must be killed. They must be killed. They are the enemy. Have you said... I honestly, only... seen them around Jersey. I haven't seen them running, rampant.
Starting point is 01:07:48 Here, you know in them here? I saw someone today crushed in the subway today. Yeah, I did. First time I've ever seen in the city, crushed. The bug was crushed? Crush and in a puddle. And in a puddle. Oh, extra dead.
Starting point is 01:07:58 And I was like, yeah. Just how I like it. Exactly. Ground and stomp on. Extra dead. Just like I like it. No, but they are, but you're right, because that's the first one I thought to myself,
Starting point is 01:08:09 wow, I killed that one on the train platform in Jersey yesterday. And now I'm seeing one here. They really are traveling. They are scared to me. I have only seen one. They get in my parents' house. They don't want Big Reyes' big foot coming their way. They don't want that shit at all.
Starting point is 01:08:21 No, ma'am. They do not want that shit. Anyway, so yes, the very... We're not talking about bees, by the way. We're talking about lantern bugs, so get on it. Gossip gal. No, no, no. We want to save the bees. It's ABC that's not trying to save the bees.
Starting point is 01:08:31 No, no. Bees are good. We're not trying to kill the bees. No, no. We're not trying to kill the bees. Lentern bugs. They're trying to kill the bees. Putting them in champagne.
Starting point is 01:08:39 That bee was a symbolic death for Gabby and... Jason's relationship. It seemed like Gabby was really, really pushing for Jason. Like she, the way she was talking about Jason, and it's always been him, I wanted to be him at the end, all these things, and then you hear
Starting point is 01:08:58 her say, like, you know, they were just trying to work it out how they could even leave together, and it just, he, Jason wanted nothing to do with it, it seems. It's, it also seemed, you're 100% correct. And also back to the realist thing, him being like, I'm more of a realist about the situation. I know that
Starting point is 01:09:14 people sign up for the show, maybe they don't know what they're getting into, whatever. If you are a person who calls yourself a realist, this show is not for you. You have to be able to take the leaps and bounds to believe that this can be something. You have to have that faith in the process, in the journey. And if you just aren't going to do that, you're going to get all the way to the end. You're going to break this poor girl's heart because she's here. She's the star of the show. It takes a lot of balls to come on this show and make it all the way to Fantasy Suites and then say,
Starting point is 01:09:41 you don't really know me. I don't really know you. Why are we even here? Something else I'll say about... Where am I? It's like Jason agreed to go... Who am I? It's like Jason's like in high school.
Starting point is 01:09:55 He agreed to go to a party with his friends. He got a little too drunk and then like three hours later. He's like, where the fuck am I? He made it to fantasy sweets. He's like, holy shit, I gotta get out of here. You ever have that moment though with people you know for a long time? Though, like even with you guys, sometimes I'm like, you guys are strangers.
Starting point is 01:10:13 Like, you are strangers. That's true. That's true. There are parts of my life here's nothing about. Exactly, exactly. You think we're all still strangers? No, no. We were once strangers.
Starting point is 01:10:24 Oh, we were once strangers. We were one strangers. We're not strangers now. I was about to say, you think we're not strangers right now. There are versions of me that neither of you know at all. Exactly. Well, that's how it has to be for life. Dark and mysterious.
Starting point is 01:10:39 Nobody's meant to know. There are a lot of doors, a lot of doors. Nobody's meant to know everything in that. about everyone. That's true. That's facts. What are you hiding? You'll never know. And that's a secret. I'll never tell. And you'll never know.
Starting point is 01:10:53 I want to say about this before I forget. Gabby, the way Gabby acted on her tennis date with Jason, I think, out of all of her dates was the most, like, cutie girl, flirty girl. Like, she was so smitten. She really liked Jason. Yeah, she did. She did. And I think it was a lot of smoke and mirrors.
Starting point is 01:11:10 Like I, even he wasn't so, like, into it in that moment. Like, she was just, like, you know, put. the balls down her shirt. She's being silly. She's calling, what did she call tennis? Mundane. He's like, I played tennis in college, and she's like, tennis is actually kind of mundane. Tennis is not mundane. No, it's very exciting. I love tennis.
Starting point is 01:11:27 It's very exciting. I've been surrounded by nothing but tennis for like the last week. Yeah. I love tennis. U.S. Open. Your book? I'm reading Carri Soto's back. Tennis. Tennis date during the show. A lot of tennis in your life. That's what I said. Sounds like you've got to dust off your racket. I don't think I've picked up a racket since I was nine years but wow girl get that muscle time to get back into it
Starting point is 01:11:47 I'm gonna call up Serena be like you need a hitting partner yeah yeah yeah um get yourself out of retirement because I'm coming yeah oh boy the Gabby was very upset granted I really think she tried to make it work and then
Starting point is 01:12:02 they kept flashing back to Eric and now she's got to have this conversation with Eric Eric and Gabby are it right now can we see this conversation Gabby's like hey I want to make this work, everybody else is gone.
Starting point is 01:12:17 Right. He is thrilled, and they seem very happy in this moment that we're seeing right now. On the other side of this, Zach has his fantasies we date with Rachel, which is, you know, you think this is going to go really well. We're all worried that she is actually going to just repeat history after everything that happened with Clayton
Starting point is 01:12:34 and him saying how hard it was emotionally to break up with these girls and all these things, and here's Rachel in a situation where it looks like she goes into the fantasies meet with Zach, And according to Zach, because we haven't for Rachel's side, but according to Zach, it was very inauthentic, they had a bad conversation, and it really felt like Rachel was pushing him to answer if he was ready for marriage because of his age. Now, if you look on the thing, you know, it says Zach 25, Rachel 26, that find people on the internet, Rachel is like four months older than Zach. It's typical. He's born in March. He's born in July, apparently.
Starting point is 01:13:12 Typical. Those months count, you know. You never know. My take on it was that... So she's four months older than him. My take on it was that they disagreed about something political. A billion percent. Because it was... You're really... You said it, this is a stretch.
Starting point is 01:13:28 He said... No, we're talking about religion. No, no, can I think of it? Yes, yes. Because he went from... We started talking about religion and politics, and then she started saying, oh, you're ready for an engagement? it was a quick jump from the religion politics topic
Starting point is 01:13:46 to then you're not ready for an engagement. It kind of felt like there was something that happened in that conversation or else why else did that get brought up? Why else did the religion and politics part get brought up and all that? I think he was just saying I think he was saying it to really show how deep they were getting. That's a good point. And it was just like, look, we were covering all topics.
Starting point is 01:14:07 We were talking about religion, politics, like really trying to get to know each other. And the one thing that Rachel was harping on was my age. Yeah, yeah. And which really bothered him because it's not a big gap. And I really feel like Rachel is just, we saw it with Tyler. She dragged out that breakup too. I feel like she's so afraid to break up with these guys
Starting point is 01:14:26 that she's like, in this point, she knows her feelings for Tino and Avin are really strong, probably just Tino. And I think she just tried to get Zach to leave on his own. Completely. And then she's going to have a whole breakdown. She's going to cry. She's going to be upset because Zach is going to confront for the rose ceremony,
Starting point is 01:14:44 and she's gonna say she feels blindsided and all these things, and then it's gonna be a whole big thing. I also think that in their conversations, they're getting to know each other, they're doing all of those things. I bet in having those conversations, she was hoping that he would show a little bit of immaturity. I think that all she needs is that excuse
Starting point is 01:15:02 of like he's a little too immature, and calling someone young, calling someone whatever, when you're talking about all those things is almost implying, I think you're too immature for this situation. situation like and or are basically questioning him are you sure i think she is too immature but i think that she was wanting him to kind of prove like say oh i'm not ready for this or oh whatever so she could just write that off in her own mind he found out who he just wasn't ready he was only 25 he was
Starting point is 01:15:28 he found out who he voted for in the last election and she was yes yes she was like listen no i'm not going to i have more jokes so it's it's it's It's a... We could joke, but we're going to get in trouble. Yeah, yeah. They have... Now, their chemistry felt like very off in the morning after. Very uncomfortable.
Starting point is 01:15:52 Oh, that was the faked shit of all time, Fran. Yeah, it was really weird. They go on the veranda. Yeah, they're on the veranda. And they're sipping whatever. And they're like, oh, clarity, clarity. Oh, that was nice last night, right? It's like, what was this?
Starting point is 01:16:04 Was it nice? Was it nice? And they're still mad. They had a religious politics talk. and they acted like they acted like they you know but I agree no they were like this agree to disagree and then they went to bed and they
Starting point is 01:16:18 woke up the next morning we're totally fine we're on the same thing right maybe how that combo went she was like just want to make sure that we're on the same page maybe Zach wouldn't do it like locally but is that really like that at 25 and 26 no no and that's why for Rachel like that's why I'm stopping myself right now
Starting point is 01:16:37 no honestly for him to for her to be lording over him I think about myself. I think myself at 25, I was an asshole. Think about myself at 26, I was an asshole. Like, I'm still an asshole. They're four months apart. You're definitely still an asshole. Definitely still an asshole.
Starting point is 01:16:49 But I, like, have experienced a little more life. But I think that the two, for her to act like, he would have put the other person on the spot. Totally. For her to act like, he would have been like, look, we didn't agree on important shit. Remember Tasha's home fantasy scene with Ivan? I, for God. And they broke, they, like, they were like religion.
Starting point is 01:17:08 We can't agree. That's it. can't do it. Again, it was like, that was, and they, that was the reason. What didn't they agree on religiously? Uh, I believe Tasha is religious and Ivan is not. Right, right, right, right.
Starting point is 01:17:19 And they were like, he was like, uh, like, hardcore, like, hard for I do not believe in. Like, I'm not, I don't fuck with religion. I won't even like, she was saying like, but what about like just coming to church on Sunday? Yeah, so I, I think like, and they openly were like, not gonna work. Yeah, all right, peace out.
Starting point is 01:17:33 Yeah. So yeah, that is true, but they, like, maybe just. I don't know. Zach, Zach definitely got a big bachelor edit this episode. for sure. I'm not really into him as The Bachelor. I agree.
Starting point is 01:17:46 I mean, I think that my mind can change on that. And I can't believe I'm about to say this, but he's 25. Yes, but truly, that's what I'm saying. But also, like when we do have, I know, they are both so young. I do like when they have older leads because you get a wider range of contestants that you can have on. You have a 25-year-old lead, then you have a bunch of 21-year-olds on the show. And we've watched Rachel act like a 26 year old this entire time. Surprise every five minutes.
Starting point is 01:18:15 She's, oh, she doesn't know what she wants to do. You know what you want, what you want to do, though, girl. You do it. I wish Rachel had some of your wear with all to just do whatever the fuck she wanted to do. She doesn't ever want to commit to something. She's just like, all she wants is for someone to come to her and it be easy and fall on her lap. And Tino has been the only guy that comes through and is like, I love you. But she's too, like, she's too clouded by.
Starting point is 01:18:37 Tino's up to no good. Tina is up to know. She's up to know. We all did something bad. How does she not see it? Because she's clouded. She just wants a husband. She just wants an engagement and she'll put, she'll turn a blind eye to anything.
Starting point is 01:18:49 She'll do anything to get it. You know, I feel bad though, because it does, I don't know if it's just like you'll, you just get your mindset that you want the engagement so badly. Because in this preview, right, first of all, we come back five minutes. It's 955. Jesse Palmer's on our screen in an empty studio that they're, I guess they tried to make it seem like they're setting up for the live finale. The drama. Ladies and gentlemen, we're not going to show you anymore. It's so dramatic, most dramatic ever, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 01:19:16 Now they're going to be live finale, two parts. We'll see what happens with both of them. But I think they both really built up the idea of being engaged, which is fair. But for me, it's hard because I feel bad. Like, I really do feel like Eric loves Gabby, but it's just the proposal thing is a big thing. And I, for Gabby is probably like,
Starting point is 01:19:35 oh, come on, none of these guys want to fucking propose. They're all saying the same thing, so it's probably frustrating. But if it gets to the point where Eric is like, I really, really like you and want to date you, do we have to get engaged? Like, I do kind of feel like that's fair, but as The Bachelorette, of course you want the engagement. Yeah. So they're going to be upset about it. Rachel really wants the engagement. I think Rachel gets the engagement that she wants from that.
Starting point is 01:19:59 Completely. And then there's some, like I said, there's some scenes that look like they're in a different house. I feel like they probably filmed it two weeks ago. something happened. Tino did something. Tino did something bad. Tino's in trouble. I have a question for you guys that I just thought of when you just said that. If any of us were The Bachelorette and the person we like, we really fall for it, hook line and center. We are in love.
Starting point is 01:20:24 There is one guy. We are in love. And he comes to you kind of off camera and is like, listen, I'm just nervous about like being engaged. It just feels so final. It feels so, you know, like I want to date you. I want to get to know you. Like I do love you. I just want to make sure. that we both are happy with this and whatever,
Starting point is 01:20:39 would you say, that's fine, we don't have to get engaged? Yeah. Yeah, what am I just gonna get engaged to? I think I would. I would, but I'd cry. Oh yeah, I definitely like, I think I would, I think I would get emotional about it. Like I'd, like, mm, because you always,
Starting point is 01:20:54 there's a little, that little voice that's like, but why? Why? Yeah, yeah, but why? What the fuck? But why not? Yeah. We're here. Yeah. It's paid for.
Starting point is 01:21:04 Right. Let's do this, let's do this thing. We love each other. It gets like we can just take, I can just take the ring off. I think you agree to lead together and then two weeks later after being in the outside world, you're like, you know what, that was probably the right decision. Yeah. And let's date.
Starting point is 01:21:19 Once you get out of the bubble, you probably have some clarity of like, oh, that was the right thing to do. I also kind of think that getting engaged on The Bachelorette of The Bachelor is almost like, I promise to be your boyfriend. Like I feel like it's right. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. Absolutely. engaged after that and yeah
Starting point is 01:21:37 some break up some stay together some get married whatever but I have a lot of respect for those who get engaged and have like a very long age which is why I do think some of the bachelor and the bachelor's mindset is like well let's just do it let's just get engaged so we have the moment and the ending but it doesn't we can take it slow
Starting point is 01:21:53 when in reality you also could just take it slow and not do those things so it's going to be very dramatic let's take some questions Maria let's get some questions What do we think Tino did if you had to take any guesses? Well, I want you to give your answer first.
Starting point is 01:22:12 Oh, really? Putting me on the spot. I feel like you already had an idea. No, that was, I was just throwing it out there. I said, what if he cheated? Yeah. It's possible. It is possible.
Starting point is 01:22:22 That would be fucking crazy. Yeah. Which is, I'm not. Rachel really looks like she's yelling at him. Maybe he's breaking up with her. Maybe he's not into it anymore. Maybe. Right.
Starting point is 01:22:33 Maybe he just says, like, I propose that I'd take it. I'm taking it back. I want to take it back. I agree with that. Do you think it has something to do with his parents? Yeah, it has to be from his parents. Oh, yeah, yeah, because she's saying. It would be fine.
Starting point is 01:22:44 Maybe he tries to break up with her because he proposes and then he goes home and his parents are like, what the fuck did you just do? And she says, you're going back on everything you said because he was like, no, to worry, my parents do like you're fine. They're just going to have to accept it. And now it's not going to work because his parents are being mean. I wouldn't be surprised if his parents are involved in some way in that scenario. Do you think she still has feelings? For Clayton, she's always bringing him up all the time. No.
Starting point is 01:23:09 I think she just is trying so hard not to be like that. Yeah, I think she's so obsessed about how Clayton looked at her season that she's worried about her image coming out of this season. It's like I, because when you're, there's no way you're at Fantasy Suite. She's obviously actively thinking about her situation at that time. She brought it up with Zach. So it just feels like in her mind she's probably thinking, I'm starting to, I throw up one, I love you.
Starting point is 01:23:35 Like, I said, one, I'm falling in love. I got to rain it in here. I wouldn't be surprised if she probably, I don't think she'd ever say this on camera, but she's probably feeling more sympathetic towards Clayton now. I would agree. I would agree. I think she's kind of like, damn, okay,
Starting point is 01:23:49 maybe I, like, freaked out. Like, this is actually kind of hard. Yeah, I agree. Do we really think next week's finale and the week after is the most dramatic yet? No. Yeah, no. I don't know, though.
Starting point is 01:24:03 I mean, like, I don't, I mean, what could be, What is the most, what would you say the most dramatic is so far? I don't know if. Ari's. Ari's. I think, R's. And I honestly don't even think, I mean, it's, it's not close, but of course, Pile-A-Pie's Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:16 Yeah, that was very dramatic. That was dramatic. That was just more of a spectacle. Yeah. I mean, Pete did switch from Hannah Ann to. No, I mean, yeah. They're definitely both up there. But Ari legitimately took back an engagement and gave it to another girl.
Starting point is 01:24:31 And that was out of nowhere. None of us, I felt like there wasn't any, We thought that, you know, they wrote off into the sunset, happily ever after. We thought he was coming through just to say, hey, they gave us no prep, no preview that that was going to happen. I don't think Rachel is, from what we can see, it's not like Rachel is breaking up with Tino and going to one of these other guys. If anything, probably the dramatics here is Rachel and Tino have broken up in the last couple weeks. Something happened. It's all going to go down. And if I'm hoping, because honestly, I'm rooting for Gabby and Eric.
Starting point is 01:25:02 Yes, I am too. I like them together. I think Jason is really going to get put on the hot seat, which could be dramatic. But I'm hoping that Gabby and Eric can work it out and figure out how to maybe just be a dating couple at the end of this. Yes, I think that Gabby's tears in the previews
Starting point is 01:25:21 are more of like fear tears. Yeah, I think it's more of like disappointment. You go in thinking you're going to end with an engagement. Now you have two guys. Actually, three guys, if you count Johnny. Yeah. Right? Like all of them saying, hey, we're not.
Starting point is 01:25:33 not ready to do that at the end of this. And especially after the whole season, everybody's fighting tooth and nail over Gabby. All of a sudden, it's time to pay the piper. Nobody wants to put a ring on her finger. I know. I just think Eric is nervous about it. Eric's got, I don't know, I feel bad.
Starting point is 01:25:46 Eric's got a lot going on with his family. Like, he's got to, if he's probably thinking about his dad, and if he's ready for a proposal at this time, like, you've got to think about your family in those scenarios. Yes. Do we think Rachel is fake on camera? I could lean towards yes. I feel the same.
Starting point is 01:26:04 I don't know why I trust Zach. Not that I don't trust Rachel, but like, I don't know why Zach would make that all up, you know? He was crying to Jesse Palmer. Right. Why would he cry? He was really crying. So I think they definitely had an uncomfortable conversation.
Starting point is 01:26:23 She's probably just like very, like, matter of fact. Yeah. Everybody's a little performative when the cameras are on. And maybe that was just when Zach was like, wait a second, something. up here. Yeah. Yeah. So I actually kind of think maybe, yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:36 Yeah. It's like, that's Andy Dorfman Juan Pablo situation. Went into the Fantasy Speets, came out. She was like, fuck, no, that guy's an asshole. I can't believe it. Not that Rachel's an asshole, but it happens. Last question. In the finale, who are we most excited to see an explanation from?
Starting point is 01:26:55 Ooh. I mean, I guess, I mean, I guess Tino. I don't know. Jason, I feel like just, he just, didn't want to be on the show. He didn't want to be on the show. Yeah, but I want to know why he went on the show. I would like to know that as well. That's fair. That's the question I have.
Starting point is 01:27:13 I bet you Tino's dad's going to be a part of this finale. Yeah. He's going to be in the audience for sure. Do you think he even would be, though? I feel like his parents are so anti. Like, they just seem, they almost seem to piss that there was like, there were cameras in the house. All, back, uh, um, Bachelor of Nation's school posts a lot of screenshots of Tino's dad's Facebook posts. Oh, yes. And he is very active talking about the show.
Starting point is 01:27:37 I think he... No, not like, nothing bad, but like he... He'll clear some stuff up, or he'll, like, hear a news report, and he'll, like, repost it and talk about, like, his side of it. So he's very open to sharing things where I'm like, I think he kind of likes... He likes having a platform to talk about it.
Starting point is 01:27:56 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. All right. And, like, people who are giving him shit or, like, making fun of him and stuff, he's, like, for all right,
Starting point is 01:28:04 all the haters, like, I'm, like, giving clarifications about him himself. So it kind of feels like when you're doing that, you like the attention a little bit. Yeah. If Tino's dad is saying back off to the haters, he's engaging the haters. Exactly. So I kind of feel like he could be in the audience there at one point for this two-part live finale. Jesus Christ. Way too long.
Starting point is 01:28:30 So way too long, entirely too long. All right. So we cut some stems. Let's do it. Thank you for your questions, everybody. And we are now going to hand out some roses, cut some stems. Excellent. Who wants to go first?
Starting point is 01:28:45 I'll go. Go ahead, Kelly. I have an immediate rose. An immediate rose. Yeah, I think you guys know. Fast rose. I am going directly. This rose goes a sharp swing from our attitudes last week.
Starting point is 01:28:57 The rose goes directly to the production team who put the bee in the champagne. That is just another round of applause, in my opinion. Like I just, wow. And I can't believe it took me until we were having this conversation to really appreciate that moment. Ooh, man, I love the symbolism there. Love it.
Starting point is 01:29:12 Love some good symbolism. All right, let's see. My stem. I'm going to cut the stem of... Man, I just had it. And then I went away. Something to do with Jason. I'm going to cut the stem of Jason.
Starting point is 01:29:35 Jason's attitude during tennis because I felt like he was taking it too seriously when Gabby was trying to joke around and it just felt like, all right, man, we get it. You play tennis in college. You can back off and be flirting and cutie with Gabby for a minute. I felt like he didn't really let up. And we find out, you know, he wanted to go home anyway, so, but whatever. But I'm going to cut the stem of his attitude. Yeah. I am going to cut the stem of Jesse Palmer's ending. calling it the most, you know, they have to do that, but you don't have to do it. You know what I mean? Like, don't get us all hyped up for no reason. And I'm going to give my rose to Eric because... It's nice. I think he's sweet, and I feel bad that I don't feel like Gabby fully explained to him that he's kind of the last one left.
Starting point is 01:30:28 Yeah. And so I'm going to give my rose to Eric. Yeah. That's sweet. I am kind of in the same realm here of you, Kelly, but opposite. I'm actually going to cut the producer who convinced Eric to rehab that conversation with Gabby. That was unnecessary. And honestly, did nothing but make Gabby upset when I think Gabby and Eric don't need any of that right now. I did not like that. It felt unnecessary. I felt like that was very forced.
Starting point is 01:31:02 whether that was, if it was Eric himself doing that again after talking about it privately, then this also goes to Eric, but I really do feel like he was pushed to have that conversation or else, you know, you have to, everyone's going to sign off on having that conversation. And my rose, my rose, you know, as of right now, I'm just going to give my rose to Avin
Starting point is 01:31:33 because I just feel like he's floated through this. He really has. He doesn't stand a chance. He likes Rachel. They have a good connection. They've had nothing but good dates. And there's all this drama happening around him. I don't know if he has any idea what's happening. He might be watching this show right now and have no idea that this is how this season played out. Not a chance. He's posted up in his palapa right now. Just saying not being like, I can't wait to get to the rose ceremony. See, Rachel again. How did this all happen?
Starting point is 01:32:00 He's pulling up on the side. I have no idea. He's about to make it what I would guess to the final two. and he really coasted there. Yeah, big time. Without any. Speaking of people, I know nothing about it. I know nothing about it. Like, I don't even know him. I know. I know. It's kind of like, okay. Well, because it's been the Tino show, you know.
Starting point is 01:32:16 It just has. It just has. And it's our fault. It is our fault. I feel responsible for it. But also, I mean, when you're right, you're right. Yep. And you called it, Ria, so.
Starting point is 01:32:28 Thank you. Yep. Good point. Whoa. You made a good point. Nicely done. Thank you. All right, everyone.
Starting point is 01:32:35 That wraps it up for cutting stems. We will be back next Tuesday again, the 13th, for the after show of the first live finale that promises to be the most dramatic finale ever. You really killed that. Yeah, crush it, crush it. I can't wait. All right, that wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office.
Starting point is 01:33:03 Make sure you subscribe to Chicks in the Office. We love you guys. We'll talk to you on Friday.
