It is our absolute favorite energy drink that consists of zero sugar, zero calories, but gives you that great tasting flavor that you're looking for. I know that you're used to those old energy drinks, but maybe not anymore since we've been talking about Monster Energy Ultra for a while now. Hopefully you guys have switched over to Monster Energy Ultra. Specifically, we love the ultraviolet can and I love the green can, which is the
Starting point is 00:00:56 Paradise flavor. All of it tastes like candy. The purple one is like a purple pixie stick. The other one tastes like Paradise. Honestly, guys, this is what you need to get your energy up. I feel like my energy is up today, all thanks to Monster Energy Ultra. Yeah, these drinks have been life-changing. They're so great. They really just give you that extra boost that you need. Like Reyes said, all the flavors are amazing. Go try them if you haven't tried it yet. Definitely go try them. Test out the different flavors. Keep tagging us in your posts on Twitter and your Instagram stories because we love to reshare them. All right. Let's get into today's episode, Fran. We do not have an interview on today's episode. like we usually do.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Every episode we try to get an interview on there for you. And usually it works out. I think that there's been maybe one or two or three that we haven't really had one on the days that we'd like. So there's a reason why we have a story for you. We were supposed to interview Leah Michelle. Right. We were supposed to, it was scheduled for... 125.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Wednesday. Today's Friday. Yes, Thursday. 125 p.m. We're going to be at serious. And so obviously when we When celebrities or whatever Are doing interviews at Sirius that we book like
Starting point is 00:02:16 They're doing a ton of other shows So they don't come to Barstall We'll go to Sirius. Their office is located not where we are So it's a different place So you know we pack up our stuff We go to Sirius ready to go But we got a we not even a call
Starting point is 00:02:31 Well we got a call like as we were walking out Off the elevator being like are you guys there yet Because Lee Michelle like wants to cancel a bunch of interviews and we were like, oh, we're already here. Yeah, we were already literally walking off the elevator just when we got that call. We walk in, Leah Michelle walks right past us. We see her. She sees us. Yeah. And then she goes and tells the people at Sirius that she doesn't want to do her last two interviews. She knows that we're here. She gets that we're here. And she knows that we showed up from a different place. But she wants us to go home. She doesn't want to do it. So you know what?
Starting point is 00:03:03 We had to pack our asses up and go right back to Barstles Sports HQ. because Leah Michelle. Cancel right in our faces. Just stone cold heart from Leigh and Michelle. Well, she didn't, and it's funny because like, we didn't talk to her. We didn't make eye contact with her. Like, she'd walked right past us. But like the serious employees were like, yeah, no. Like she knows that you guys are here. But, you know, it wasn't the first interview. She canceled. She canceled other ones that day as well when she was that serious. So I just want to say, look up Leah Michelle Diva on Google. goal and then just get back to us. That's it.
Starting point is 00:03:40 But we do have, besides no interview, thanks to Leah Michelle, we have a new fun segment called the Celeb Conspiracy Corner. Yeah. Was going to be Chick's Conspiracy Corner, was going to be Celebrity Conspiracy Corner. Then Noah said, Celeb Conspiracy Corner. I just thought that it's about celebrities. And when we posted on Twitter and Instagram and stuff, people might be like, oh, celebrity conspiracy, click.
Starting point is 00:04:06 They might not know. just in case they don't follow chicks in the office, they might not know chicks. So I thought Celebrity Conspiracy Corner. And thanks to you guys, a bunch of people sent in so many great theories that I have now have been reading about, didn't know about a lot of them. So thanks for that. Keep sending them into Chicks in the Office. You can DM them or DM us personally.
Starting point is 00:04:27 We'll read them. But that will be later on in the show. We're going to put that towards the end because we have to get to the topics first. Do you want to reveal who our first celebrity conspiracy corner is about? Sure. I'll reveal it. Actually, no. I'm not going to reveal it. I'm going to make people go to the end. Okay. So should I not write it in the description? Oh, okay. Well, you're going to write in the description. Okay, I'll tell them. I'll tell them. It's going to be Avalovine. And I know that many people probably know about the Avrilavine conspiracy theory. We have talked about it on the show before. And we have talked about it. But there were so many requests for this specific one. So I think doing a deep dive, it's fun. It's a good starter one for sure. Because there are so many good ones that. We should just get this one out of the way because people are going to want us to do this anyway.
Starting point is 00:05:10 And this is one that we know about. You know, like we have talked about it before. We have heard people talk about it before. So I feel like to kick it off, we're familiar with this one. Hopefully, as we go down the line with doing this, people will tell us ones that we didn't even know about. And then we'll have like, but takes way more research. This is one that, you know, we are familiar with. So I think it's a good one to kick it off with.
Starting point is 00:05:35 And they're like I said, they're actually. actually have been a few that I haven't seen before. And I'm really interested in now and can't wait to talk about every single Monday. So that will be later on in the show. But let's get into the topics. We have Taylor Swift's new Christmas song, Christmas Tree Farm. Harry Styles released a new song and music video called Adore You. We go over our Spotify wrapped and talk about the top music of the year.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Snooky is retiring from MTV and Jersey Shore. Justin Timberlake finally issued an apology for that. drunk video with his co-stars, and we get into our first ever celebrity corner about Aver Levine. Let's get into it, starting off with Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift just released a new Christmas tree farm where the people would come to dance under sparkled up in their mittens and coats and the cider would flow. And I just want to be there tonight. We, Taylor Swift just released a new Christmas song called Christmas Tree Farm. I'm going to listen to it live for the first time.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Oh, you haven't even heard it yet. No, this will be my live reaction. Okay. Because after the point of not listening to it. It's just truly delightful. I was like, I'm going to save it so that we can get the live reaction. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Do you have it, Noah? Yeah. My winter nights are taking up by static. Stress and holiday shopping traffic. But I close my eyes and I'm somewhere. else just like magic. I love it. I love it.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Just that one magic part. My heart is a Christmas tree farm where the people would come to dance under up in their mittens and coats and the cider would flow. And I just want to be. It's really good. It's really lovely. Oh my God. Now, I almost teared up in my desk, which I guarantee is tears for you.
Starting point is 00:08:22 The music video is just old home videos of Taylor Swift at her house on the Christmas tree farm. She's all bundled up playing in the snow. There's a clip of her getting a guitar on Christmas morning opening it. She's like a little baby. You know, babies in the snow are just so cute. They just fumble. They don't know where they're going. And the whole video is just, it's just adorable.
Starting point is 00:08:45 She was such a cute little baby too, you know, her blonde curly hair. And I got emotional watching it. So, I mean, I would imagine that it would be tears for you. Yeah. For sure. If you got even a little bit emotional, then I'm like full tears streaming out my face. I was like, oh my God, this is so sweet. Why am I like about to cry?
Starting point is 00:09:03 And I was like, oh, God, Ria is going to cry. I'm watching this. I have to watch that after. I'll definitely cry. I love home videos. Oh, my God. I love home videos. It's very sweet.
Starting point is 00:09:12 You know, her mom, her dad, her brother. Like, it's just, it's really. I'm actually like getting a little teary eye now that you're explaining it. And with the song, too, in the back, it's, yeah. Don't hate me for this. But. this Christmas song better than Jonas Bellar's Christmas song
Starting point is 00:09:26 That's fair Don't hate me for it but Listening to both of them Being excited I actually disagree I have to say Wow Noah from the cloud
Starting point is 00:09:35 I kind of like that from Noah Like I'm not gonna You like like it's Christmas more? Yeah I thought that was like a very catchy song Yeah it is Yeah But I could see myself listening to The Taylor Swift one more
Starting point is 00:09:48 I don't know It's just it's very it's very homie I don't know what it is about this Taylor song it's just like a warm hug
Starting point is 00:10:00 I like the beat drop yeah yeah yeah the where it's like when she says magic and it does feel like magic and then the song changes oh my God it's like lifts your mood I felt my spirit lifting
Starting point is 00:10:09 out of my body at that point yeah what is your favorite Christmas song what a loaded question but just don't think I can't name just one no but okay we all know that you can't name just one Nobody can name just one.
Starting point is 00:10:22 Everyone has multiple favorites. But I say favorite Christmas song. Don't look at your phone. I need to look at my options. No, no, no, no, no options. The first one that comes to your mind. Favorite Christmas song? I mean, the first one that pops into my mind is all I want for Christmas is you.
Starting point is 00:10:34 Mariah Callie? Yes. See, that's a good one, though. That's a very classic. That's the first one that pops in my head. First one comes to my mind is simply having a wonderful Christmas time, Paul McCartney. Yeah. I like the beginning of that one.
Starting point is 00:10:46 That one just really gets me. Yeah. But then if you start to go through it. then you start realizing. Stevie wonder what Christmas means to me. That's a good one. I have a shocking number one pick. Bruce Springsteen, Santa Claus is coming to town is also.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Santa Claus is coming to town. I mean, that is, that one is also fantastic. I, there, look, that you, I don't know, it's tough. You know what? I also love the Faith Hill. Where are you Christmas from the Grinch? That one is really good.
Starting point is 00:11:16 I love that song. That one, I love that song. It's my heart a little bit, though, you know? I get a little emotional with that. Well, it's like, it's sad. And so it's like, you get sad listening to it, but Faith Hill's vocal on that is so good. It's beautiful.
Starting point is 00:11:29 But I picture a little Cindy Lou Who. I know, I know. Looking around all sad. A little Taylor Momson. Taylor Momson, who, you know. Josh Grobin also has a lot of great Christmas songs. But then it's like, you know, I also, just song-wise,
Starting point is 00:11:44 white Christmas is also one of my favorites. I don't care who's singing it. It's just like a not artist favorite, but like just actual song. I'll probably listen to anybody to sing White Christmas. That's a good one too. Taylor Swift actually, we talked about this before,
Starting point is 00:11:59 but Taylor Swift has Christmas songs that came out in 2007. It's like a very long time ago. It was just like six songs. But now like her just jumping back into the Christmas game. It was interesting. She posted a video on her social that was like, I just wrote a Christmas song
Starting point is 00:12:17 and I don't want to wait like another year to put this out because normally Christmas songs have already come out by now. It's already December and she asked her cats if she should release it and you know cats, her cats act like cats and they're like, as you do.
Starting point is 00:12:34 As you as cats do. And as you ask your cats whether or not you should release a song when you're Taylor Swift. I know that people get annoyed by the cat thing but every time she talks to her cats, it makes me laugh. I don't know why. Her cats crack me up. Like I think her cats are so fun. They're just like little mean humans.
Starting point is 00:12:53 Can I admit something to you? You know I hate cats, right? Yeah, yeah. And like I'm allergic to them. Yeah, yeah. I've been wanting a cat. Like a little kitty. A little kitty.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Like a little kitty. I mean, you would just be an allergy. No, no, one that's non-allergetic. Like if I can find it. A hypoallergenic kitten? I don't know if those exist. I think that they do, though, somewhere, right? Do they?
Starting point is 00:13:17 If I could find one. that was hypoallergenic you might have to get a naked cat hypoallergenic right because my dog is hypoallergenic yeah yeah yeah my well we had a wheat and terror growing up she was hypoallergenic also
Starting point is 00:13:31 what are the best hypoogenic cap breeds for people with allergies they do have some furry kitties that are a non-aller hypoallergenic whatever so let me tell you as far as cats go
Starting point is 00:13:46 these ones are not That's cute. Because you can't get like a big furry one. Although, Ah. Siberian cats. This is the problem I'm having. Sport a moderately long coat,
Starting point is 00:13:58 but it's still hypoallergenic due to the lower than average enzyme levels in their saliva. Now that's a big fluffy cat. I can get down with that one. But I don't want my cat to grow. Oh, see, then you're, that's the,
Starting point is 00:14:09 see, then you have a problem. This is the problem I'm having. Right. Like, I can't, the cat has to be hyperalogenic. Yeah. And I want a small little kitty that will just stay.
Starting point is 00:14:18 that size. You get a K-Marco cat. I don't want that one. Yeah. You could get the hairless cat. No. Those are ugly and scary. Sorry to offend you if you have one of those.
Starting point is 00:14:30 Sorry if you have a hairless cat. They're ugly though. But I just feel like I want a little kitty that's going to stay small, that I can cuddle. Because realistically, I could get a really small dog. And that would be great. But I don't feel responsible enough to take care of a dog at this point of my life. I don't think that I genuinely.
Starting point is 00:14:48 don't think that I could do it. I don't. So I'm being very real about that. That's very mature of you. Don't have the time. Don't have the responsibility for that. No. Cats, though, you don't really need to do much for the cat.
Starting point is 00:15:14 They're a little bit, yeah, lower maintenance. Yes, that's true. But I don't want a cat that's going to be big. So forget that, I guess. big. Like, I know that you can't see the, she's two pounds. Like, there's maybe three max. Like, she is, we joke that she is like the size of a gerbil. Like, she is a ridiculously small dog, which is something more manageable, especially when you live in an apartment. You, because sometimes you feel bad having a bigger dog in an apartment. But regardless, I just want something that will cuddle up to me. Yeah. Yeah. Besides Hank. Yeah. Like, I want a little, like I want a little furry
Starting point is 00:15:48 think pet. You get like a pig like Ariana Grande. You could put. I've always wanted a hedgehog, but they're illegal to buy. You could put Hank in one of your fluffy jackets and let him so on your lap. He's too tall. I do that anyway sometimes. He's just too tall to like curl up into my, you know what I want.
Starting point is 00:16:05 I know what you're saying. I know, I don't know why I've been strange for me to be wanting like an animal's love and comfort, but I just really want it lately. Well, it's also something that we've, wants something small. You have it your whole lives when you grow up with a dog in your house. So like when you, I feel like you know you've been living on your own for long enough where you start to miss that.
Starting point is 00:16:26 Now I'm missing it because for so long, since 2004, I've had a little dog running around. Now I have no animals to play with. What were you talking about? Oh, Taylor Swift's cats. Taylor Swift's cats. I do, I really do laugh every time I see them. I don't know why. They make me laugh.
Starting point is 00:16:42 When she talks to them, it makes me laugh. I know it's like one of the cornyer things that she does. I still laugh, you know, and she put out the song, and I'm glad she put it out and didn't wait a year to put it out. Me too. I really like it. Christmas tree farm. Have you been listening to Christmas music lately?
Starting point is 00:16:59 Oh, yeah. My Christmas playlist has been on shuffle. Are you going to decorate? No. I, we're like, we're going to be away. And then by the time we come home, like we only have a couple more days in the city before everybody goes home. So I think it would be kind of tough to do.
Starting point is 00:17:19 I also don't have like any natural light in my apartment, really. So we've got a fake tree. Yeah, I could get a fake tree. But I'm a real tree person. So I've never had a fake tree. You never had a fake tree? No. And my boyfriend, they got a huge tree for his apartment.
Starting point is 00:17:37 Real? Real. And I'm now, I'm just like, I'm hitching myself onto that, you know? That's fine. Did you decorate it? They got a real tree. They had Christmas music on. They pulled it into the apartment.
Starting point is 00:17:45 We haven't decorated it yet. We were waiting for it to fall. Then we're going to put lights and they have to order a tree skirt. It's going to look lovely. So they can do it at their apartment. I have no light. The tree would actually just die in two seconds. Or you get a fake one once again.
Starting point is 00:18:00 But that's fine. You don't want a fake one. You could just use that as your... It's basically your apartment anyway. Not really, but you stay there often enough to enjoy the tree. I can put up a couple ornaments. I've earned that. You can get a special one.
Starting point is 00:18:13 I can just like one Fran ornament on the tree. you guys decorating So I don't know You just kind of convinced me to not decorate after you After I said we're not going to be here Yeah we had planned to go this weekend like Hank was like Oh we should go this weekend shopping to decorate And I obviously was all for it
Starting point is 00:18:33 If you do it tomorrow you should do it Because then you got plenty of time I can't this weekend so that's like Well we were planning on doing it tomorrow But now that I'm thinking about it And I'm like oh I could not And then I could just No but let me tell you something
Starting point is 00:18:46 I'm regretting not doing it because I went with Joe just to the store to like grab a couple things for the tree. And it put me in the best mood just like grabbing lights. I'm like, oh, should we get this? Oh, should we get this? Like it makes you, it really, it brings a joy. So I'm saying if you just even get like a wreath and maybe a couple lights and put it up, you'll, it will make you feel great. Yeah, we did decorate last year and I felt great about it. But yeah, maybe a few lights and a wreath and maybe just not the full tree.
Starting point is 00:19:15 That's what I'm thinking. about just the you can get like just like a little baby fake wine put it in the corner yeah yeah just to spice it up a little bit during Christmas time right get some lights get some maybe figurines or something like a little I don't know Hank's mom sent us some decorations too that I'll hang up there you guys this lovely
Starting point is 00:19:33 this is the new Harry style song called Adore You he has a new music video out as well the music video I would describe as some sort of short story There's a lot of underlying messages in there. It's like a short film. Right. We could start off with the most common one I've been seeing. Adore you in the music video takes place at a place called Adora.
Starting point is 00:20:21 Yeah. And that's just Adora backwards. Yeah. So good on you. Harry Styles, really creative. And the narration is by Rosadilla. Yes, which I love. Which on her voice is just so amazing.
Starting point is 00:20:33 If you're into ASMR, listen to her W magazine, ASMR. Oh. video because it was really good. She didn't even want to really talk about, like, her life and do all of that. Usually that's what the ASMR, they go through, like, all of the things that they've done. Career-wise, she just was really focused on the ASMR and it was really good. So if you like ASMR, check it out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:57 So she narrates the video. Harry is a, they're on like this weird island. There's all these different traits of the islanders and there's all these funky things going on and you know they say it's always dark and it's kind of like a very dreary place it seems like Harry has a is an odd ball because when he smiles it like glows nobody else smiles and so he feels super lonely he's lost peculiar yes he goes in he walks into the sea like he has stones in his pocket you know what's what's going on and he sees this fish that that flopped onto a rock and he saves the fish, puts it back in the ocean,
Starting point is 00:21:43 then the fish flops right back off and it goes into a little cartoon of like the fish. Also not having a place, can't find, not finding other fish, doesn't fit in anywhere under the sea. So Harry takes the fish, they go home together. The fish grows up, gets bigger. It's very cute. He's singing to this fish. It sounds so bizarre if you haven't watched it. I'm like, so then he sings to the fish.
Starting point is 00:22:05 But it's, it's really sweet. And I also think it's a nice spin from what you're used to seeing. You know, usually Harry Styles could have just gotten another girl to be in the music video, played the part of a girl who, you know, they create this bond. But I think it's unique because he tells a short story with a fish. And it's just different, but it's really, it's a cool video. The visuals are really cool. And the song itself, I love.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Like, I can't wait to see Harry Styles live. I'm so excited. I'm going to cry, I think. I don't know if I'm so excited. The only thing that I'm... Like, I don't know if my body is ready to experience Harry Siles live in person. I hope you're ready to listen to nothing but that album the entire day until we go to the show. Duh, we're driving around, LA.
Starting point is 00:22:53 Like, I need to be able to sing all the words to all the songs before we go to the show. That's a great point. Because we don't want to be sitting there, like... No. No. You know, not knowing the words. Because that sucks. When you go to a concert and you can't sing along and you're...
Starting point is 00:23:07 You're just head bop into the beat. And obviously we know the ones that have come out, but, you know, now Adoriae has just come out, and the next Friday will be when all of the whole album drops. So, yeah, we'll have to definitely study up in that time that we have. But, I mean, it's going to be fantastic. We're going to take a nice drive on the Pacific Coast Highway and just blast Harry Styles, mainly because I've never been on the Pacific Coast Highway and I really got to check it out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:33 Is that okay with you, Noah? The PCH. I love the PCH. Okay, good, because Noah's driving. Oh, God. I know, I know. This happened last time. I'm not happy about it either.
Starting point is 00:23:43 So last time when we were in L.A., if you guys remember, we got into a fight with Noah about his driving because his driving skills. It started out as like a joke of like, oh, you're a bad driver. And then it just turned into like, oh, wait, you're like really a bad driver and me yelling at me. Like, you really suck. Like it was like, it turned into, okay, this is kind of funny. And then it was like, okay, like, you're actually making really bad driving decisions. Right. But listen, I don't want to drive.
Starting point is 00:24:09 No, no. You don't want to drive. No. It looks like Noah's driving. But I think, to be fair, if we have Noah drive and there are some near- The PCH is very easy. It's one way. Very easy. I can't mess that up.
Starting point is 00:24:21 Okay. Can't mess that up. But if there are instances where we almost die, like last time. Yeah. We are not allowed to yell at him like we did last time. We're not allowed to yell at him. We could scoff. We could go, but we can't.
Starting point is 00:24:34 I'm sorry. That stressed me out more when you guys are yelling at him. me. I said we can't. Oh, wait. If Noah is in the middle of an intersection and we're like about to get hit, like, I'm not just scoffing. It's just not going to happen. There were multiple times where we legit almost died. Well, I think those, we were like rushing to get somewhere to. Right. We, we don't have anywhere to be this time around. Maybe one of you does like the directions and you tell me. Yeah. Because I think I was looking down like at my phone. Right. I'm a good navigator. I'll, I can do directions.
Starting point is 00:25:03 Yeah, maybe. Maybe frame music. Yeah. I can do directions. Well, no. See, Fran hates my music. But I would love to be playing Harry Styles. I'll be listening to Harry Styles. We already agreed. So Maria control the music.
Starting point is 00:25:14 She just fucked me over. Wow. I'm definitely throwing in some other ones in there, okay? I won't throw anything too drastic for you, Fran. I mean, I also have to prepare for rolling loud. True. That's a great point. Great point.
Starting point is 00:25:26 We'll play some ASEP Rocky for Fran as well. Is that a deal? Harry Styles and Aesap Rocky combined? Yeah. I'm shaking her hand right now. I'll sit in the back seat this time around too, because last time I sat in the front scene, maybe I wasn't the best navigator. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Maybe I did sit in the backseat. Frang that's in the backseat last time. You're older. You get the front. I wanted to say something else. Oh, oh, oh. Back to Harry Stiles for a second. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:49 So what's also very interesting about all this is that like all of his other One Direction members are all like everybody's dropping music at the same time. Nile had a new song come out. Liam had a new album come out. And I think Louis has new music. I don't know if it's out yet or if it's coming out. but Louis also has new music. I think he had a single come out recently too.
Starting point is 00:26:09 What am I saying? He did. I listened to it yesterday. And right now, so you know, this is, it's Friday. Right now, hashtag Liam Payne is over party is the number two trending topic in the United States because of a song on his album that is called Both Ways. And first of all, anytime there is like a pop star is over party, everybody jumps in to promote their artist, right?
Starting point is 00:26:39 So it's like this all started because people are saying that Liam Payne's song both ways is over-sexualizes bisexuals and bisexual women and it's like a weird fetish song and people are being, people are speaking about it on Twitter. They don't like it. They think it's creepy. A lot of biwomen are speaking on it that they don't. Like, I've seen it go both ways. Some, some don't care, some really care.
Starting point is 00:27:08 But what happens now, and especially with One Direction, because the One Direction stands are wild, they just jump in and they're like, anyway, Harry Stott, like, anyway, Stan Harry Styles, because he's unpromptomatic and blah, blah, blah. And then they just put, you know, hashtag Liam Payne is over party. This is his song.
Starting point is 00:27:27 This is his song. Come on. Boy, let's do this. Make every day my birthday, let's celebrate. Like, oh, my gosh, she's doing things. You won't believe. My girl, she likes it both ways. The crazy thing is that he also said this was his favorite song on the album,
Starting point is 00:27:52 which people are also like, all right, Liam, now you're just. So it's tough because he, the song, people are like, okay, he's talking about an experience he had. He has always been in his, his own music, like fairly sexual with his, with his song. So he's like, this is an experience. He's had three, some whatever. But then a lot of other people are like, well, look at these lyrics. Like, oh, you were young and stupid.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Like, what is, what kind of messages is this sending? Like, oh, my girl's hotter because she hooks up with, she wants to hook up with other people. And anyway, it's been problematic. Twitter has been going off on it. Tyler Oakley, obviously, huge YouTube star. Everybody, most people know Tyler Oakley. he he got into it with one direction stands years ago because Liam had tweeted about supporting
Starting point is 00:28:41 one of the guys from Duck Dynasty like who knows me know one of the people saying that he he tweeted that he like respected his family values and all this that and the other thing when in reality that man and his family had a history of you know homophobic comments and and things like that and Tyler Oakley was like done with Liam Payne after that and so once this you know obviously blew up today, Tyler Oakley tweeted on his own account like, let me find it because it was funny. Bitch, I warned you all years ago. LMAO, hashtag Liam Payne is over party. Like there's been a lot of kind of things that Liam has said.
Starting point is 00:29:19 Right. Like when he said about his kid, he wouldn't want Harry Stiles to babysit his kid because then his kid would, his kid would be wearing something he doesn't understand. Whatever that means. What do you mean you won't understand it? Right. So you're saying you didn't understand how Harry dresses? He just, like, he just dressed that way because he wanted to dress that way.
Starting point is 00:29:35 He liked what he was wearing. Yeah, I think he, um, and he tried to cover that too. He was like, and Nile, like, not, he would just like come out like with golf balls and like golf cake. Yeah. Like, you tried to cover up that that was a fairly insensitive remark about Harry. Like, oh, you wouldn't understand if your kid wanted to wear other clothes than what you're accustomed to.
Starting point is 00:29:55 Right. And he basically was like blowing himself up by saying, oh, I wouldn't, I understand it. I wouldn't let my kid wear what he wants to wear because like, what if you're his kid did want to wear what Harry Stiles was wearing, you know? Exactly. So, and it's crazy. Like, while this is all going on, everybody's talking about adore you. So the Harry Stiled stands are going against the Liam Payne stands and the Louis stands are just kind of all in between.
Starting point is 00:30:19 It's crazy up in one direction Twitter right now. It's crazy. It's crazy up in one direction Twitter. But we know where our heart lies and it's with Harry Styles. Oh, it's with Harry Styles. It's not even close. Without a doubt. I'm not the same it seems to me
Starting point is 00:30:35 Because you've been gone I'm growing older But I still can't seem We have huge Jersey Shore news Because it seems like Snooky is stepping away from Jersey Shore She's not going to be on reality TV anymore But before we go into that

Snooky, she is retiring from Jersey Shore, she said on her podcast that came out on Friday. She said, I am retiring from Jersey Shore. I'm not
Starting point is 00:33:03 coming back for Jersey Shore season four if there is one. The main reason is I just can't do it anymore. Literally leaving my kids to film is really hard of me. I try and quit every single day. I just hate being away from the kids. I don't like partying like three days in a row. It's just not my life anymore. I want to be home with the kids. So that's it. Obviously, the rest of season three or whatever it is that's coming out in the new year is all already films. So I guess she's saying if there's anything past that, she's out. I respect the. I respect the the decision made from Snooki. Meanwhile, it does make me sad to think that if there is a new Jersey Shore, that she
Starting point is 00:33:39 won't be in it. Because I do enjoy watching Jersey Shore family vacation when I see it on TV. I think it's still pretty funny. Yeah. And kind of entertaining just to see where they're at now, especially, I think more like the mic stuff is entertaining and they're all focused on that. Yeah. But Snooky is a huge staple to MTV and to Jersey Shore.
Starting point is 00:33:58 So I think it's sad. But I think that for the... the time being, I think this is good for her family and for her husband and her kids. You can't be watching your mom get drunk on TV anymore. I think she's like, right, like she's tired of kind of having to be the snooky character. We're like, she's got to be drinking, she's got to go out, she's got to do this. When, because that's kind of still been her role sort of like Ronnie has his drama. Mike was in prison.
Starting point is 00:34:28 Jenny got a divorce. Like there's all these other things going on like in their, in their, in their, personal lives that are huge. Stokey's like a mom of three, you know, her husband. She's, there's not, she doesn't have like that family drama element there. So she just is like, I don't want to do this anymore. She said that, um, she said that the show lately has just been like too much drama. She said, uh, I'm putting myself out there and I just want to come off as a good person.
Starting point is 00:34:54 And lately on the show has just been very drama. For me, I don't want that. And I'm not leaving my kids days on end to film this show and that's the result of I just don't like the turnout of it, and I don't like the person I'm being portrayed as. If I'm doing a reality show, I just wanted to be fun and lighthearted. And lately it's not like that. And the show is getting so dramatic, which is pretty fair. I think she realizes, like, the drama is what makes good TV or a good reality show.
Starting point is 00:35:18 So I'm sure MTV wants to, wants them to keep the drama. But she's just like, I want to have fun with my friends and, like, be on TV. I don't want to be fighting with everybody off the time. And I think it makes sense what she said when she's being taken away from her kids because she has to film. but then she doesn't even like the final result of what is being filmed. She just had her third baby like, you know, in the last year. Right. Like she's not spending time with her kids, what she wants to do. Then she's seeing what's being filmed and she hates that.
Starting point is 00:35:43 So overall, it's kind of a miserable experience, I feel like, for her, which she'll be happier just being with her kids. I'm sure she's got plenty of money now from MTV. She doesn't have to work too much. She has her store. She has her line. She can work on that. She will always be close.
Starting point is 00:35:58 We'll be close with all of them. It's like they're not going anywhere. The one thing. I won't be able to make fun of how far is tattoo far anymore. I loved watching that show and just being like, what the fuck is this? The most ridiculous show. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:11 Those tattoos and made no sense. Yeah. Maybe she'll still do that. Well, she's retiring from MTV in general, I think. Well, did she say all of reality TV? Oh, who knows? That would be interesting. I think that she'll probably make an appearance.
Starting point is 00:36:26 I think she could definitely do other TV. Right. But I think that if she wants to take a break from Jersey Shore, I think that she'll take a break from. from other things. And maybe she'll appear in Jersey Shore later on. Like she'll come back for an episode or so. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:38 We're hanging out with Snooky. Who knows if they'll even do for? I feel like once one goes, the rest will probably follow, you know? Especially when it's Snooky. I feel like once you lose Snooky, like then Jay W. Like is J.W going to want to do it if Snoky's not doing it? And then the girls that kind of all falls apart. And it's like, you know, it's one, like, like,
Starting point is 00:37:02 all of them or none of them, you know? Right. As how I feel about... Besides when Mike went to prison. Right. Because that was no choice. That was illegal. And good TV.
Starting point is 00:37:12 That was a court of law decision. But he... Exactly. Like, even in that, they were all so sad that he was gone. It was like the whole show. Every time he was gone, it was like they all felt like they were missing a piece when Mike wasn't there.
Starting point is 00:37:25 So I don't know how they would do the show without Snooky. They would just be talking about how Snooky's not there. Right. They can't keep using people not being on the show to make episodes about the show. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:37:35 So it is what it is. We say our goodbyes to Snooki. Yeah. Let's think of some of the best moments. Obviously, when she's looking for the beach and the beach is right there. Yeah. Not when she gets punched in the face.
Starting point is 00:37:46 That was a bad moment. I haven't watched old episodes of Jersey Shore in a very long time. Like, I don't, I, I, it's all very blurry to me. Really? I feel like Jersey Shore is just engraved in my brain forever. Yeah. When I see it, I'm like, oh, yeah, duh.
Starting point is 00:37:59 But like off the top of my head, I'm like, I haven't watched the old episodes in so long. She had some very funny drunk escapades on family vacation, just of still being wasted. Ah, she lost her ring, remember? Oh, she lost her ring. That was something. That was something.
Starting point is 00:38:19 Well, I guess that's why she's not going to be on anymore. Yeah, like, this is, I'm done with this. She's going to focus on her family. That's good. Yeah. Being on that show, like, requires alcohol. They have to be drinking As you get to the point where it's like
Starting point is 00:38:34 Mike's sober Yeah but like Once again he was in prison He has the whole prison thing And he changed his whole story Like snooky That's still a part of her quote unquote character
Starting point is 00:38:44 You know We can't have every Jersey Shore member Being like I'm getting clean Then it becomes a Jersey Shore problem Because then it's like what are they gonna go do On the show Like so much of the show revolves on them Going out and whatnot
Starting point is 00:38:56 So we'll see what happens We'll see if there's a next season Yeah I kind of feel like this could be the beginning of the end for family vacation. Because I can see us holding hands, walking on the beach, our toes in the sand. I can see us on the country side, sitting on a grassland side by side. You could be my baby.
Starting point is 00:39:13 Let me make you my lady. Girl, you amaze me. You got to do nothing crazy. See all I want you to do is be my love. We finally got an apology from Justin Timberlake. He posted on Instagram a few nights ago because of the that we talked about, the drunk video with his co-stars. Nothing too serious went on besides, you know, the flirty hand touching and him just being too sloppy drunk, just not really appropriate when
Starting point is 00:40:07 you are married and you have a kid. I'll read it quickly. He said, I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family, I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love. A few weeks ago, I displayed a strong lapse in judgment, but let me be clear, nothing happened between me and my co-star. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation and I have focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that. I am incredibly proud to be working on Palmer, looking forward to continuing to make this movie and excited for people to see it.
Starting point is 00:40:47 So I've been seeing both reactions to Justin Timberlake. Yeah. Personally, I don't think this is something to like get divorced over or anything like that. I think that this is definitely just like a bump in the road. He definitely acted inappropriately towards his wife. He was wasted. And, you know, this is not setting a good example for his kid, like he said. And it's just not respectful to Jessica because he has a wife. And we're not saying, I'm not saying you can't get drunk because if you want to drink, drink, get drunk. But when you're married and you're with somebody, you can't be acting sloppy like that. And getting handsy with it. get conscious of those decisions. So if Jessica forgives him and they can move on from this
Starting point is 00:41:29 and work on it and hopefully Justin doesn't make these mistakes going forward, I forgive Justin Timberlake. I'm not going to be like, oh no, how could you do that? I'm never going to like Justin Timberlake ever again after he did that. Listen, everybody has drunk nights, but when you're married, you can't be doing this. I'm a little skeptical about it just because I feel like when this stuff happens only only like there have been rumors about jt here and there about what's you know see that's what makes me skeptical so it's like you know what do you mean there's rumors there's been blinds about him many times see now now i'm going to turn back what i'm saying that aren't jess cabille so like when there's a little instance like that i'm like hmm this just
Starting point is 00:42:16 adds to feel to the fire for those blinds so right maybe i'm just being naive no i'm not sure no but I don't think so. I think it's very fair to think that he clearly fucked up. He is going to have to figure it out. And like there, it's, it's, you would think that because this is actually a public thing and whatever's, if whatever other things that happened in the past has never come out publicly to this level. So we think that hopefully after this kind of public embarrassment and blowout, he would rein it in. Right. And I think that this is all between Jessica and Justin and what, and what Jessica feel. but I think it does raise the question of
Starting point is 00:42:56 this was all caught on video what's not being caught on video because he didn't think there were cameras on him I'm sure there are plenty of times where he's out where he doesn't think there's cameras on him and there's not so what's happening when there aren't cameras around I don't know I'm still YP brought up a good point to
Starting point is 00:43:16 he was like who was just sitting across around this whole time with like a camera just filming for like who knows how long It's honestly a huge violation of privacy. And I think that's where I'm on Justin Timberlake side on this. I wonder if it was a real person they sold it or if it was just paparazzi or what. I think this video is definitely sold to, I think the Daily Mail put it out first. I'm sure they would pay big money for this.
Starting point is 00:43:38 But I think that that is where I'm on Justin Timberlake side, where even though the way he was acting was sloppy and handsy and just disrespectful to his wife and family, being filmed for that long of. a time can make, I mean, he didn't know he's being filmed, but that's just incredibly uncomfortable. Oh, just incredibly uncomfortable. And also knowing that you were wasted and being filmed. Imagine getting footage of you blackout drunk for an extended period of time. Anybody would be like, oh my God. I'm not saying you would be like handsy with anybody, but just acting stupid and looking sloppy in general is just is embarrassing. Definitely. But I'm sure they will move on and be okay. But it's interesting buzz.
Starting point is 00:44:24 Like when this movie comes out, people are going to be like, oh, damn, that's with that girl. Maybe we should go see it. Right. Or like, are they playing a couple in the movie? Yeah, I have no idea. Because if they are,
Starting point is 00:44:32 we'll see what the chemistry is like. Right, exactly. That's very true. I do my head. All right, everyone. Thank you for tagging us in your top Spotify podcast. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:58 And we both, see, I use Spotify and Apple Music. So I go back and forth, but meaning I used my sister's login for Spotify and she logged me out of it. So now I can't get back in to see what my most listened to on Spotify was. But we both did our Apple one. So I have a question, though, when it comes to that. Would your Spotify numbers be you and your sister combined then?
Starting point is 00:45:20 Like if you used the same account? We use the same account. So it would just be like, it wouldn't be true. Like your interviewer would be you and Nicole mixed. It would be both of us mixed. But we do listen to a lot of the same music. So I don't think it would be too far off because we do like to share music and listen to a lot of the same music. So I think that it would have been pretty spot on, but I'm logged out now, so I can't see.
Starting point is 00:45:43 But we use Apple and Apple, unlike what people think, they think that they can't see their top artists and stuff. You can on Apple. It just is not as cool looking. It's just, it's definitely not. Like, it's not as aesthetically pleasing at all. And you don't get as much info. Also, because Apple Music, I guess, technically, hasn't been around as long as Spotify has.
Starting point is 00:46:05 So, like, they don't, you just don't have as much. Like, Spotify, you're doing artists the decade and all that. We can't do that because, you know, my Apple music thing was like, you can look back at your replay playlist for the, uh, from 2016 was like the earliest one. But you could see like what, what our top artists were and whatnot. I've realized that I just don't really listen to as much music as I thought I did. and what I do listen to, I just listen to over and over and over again. Like my numbers were just so low when it came to like variety,
Starting point is 00:46:39 but just not shocking. How many artists did you listen to throughout the year? 30 something. Yeah, mine was 39. Yeah. Which I thought, I couldn't decide if that was a little, or a lot. My album was, albums was 41.
Starting point is 00:46:57 So my top artists were Jones Brothers, duh, Taylor Swift. Maggie Rogers, Marin Morris, and the Riverdale cast. Of course. I love how the Riverdale cast, like as a whole, tops your top five. Like I said, I listen to the same stuff on repeat.
Starting point is 00:47:17 So like when Maggie Rogers album came out, I listened to that on repeat. When Marin Morris's album came out, I listened to that and repeat. When Happiness Begins came out, I listened to that on repeat. And so, but it was funny because my top albums where happiness begins lover
Starting point is 00:47:32 and then the Riverdale cast Heather's episode and then the Rocket Man soundtrack and I was telling Tread too I was just like I think that like when a TV show or movie musical whatever comes out
Starting point is 00:47:48 and I like it that I listen to it like the Rocket Man soundtrack I listen to so much it's funny because the Riverdale one is just one song like I listened to 17 from the Heather's episode of Riverdale, like so many times, clearly that it cracked my top albums and top artists.
Starting point is 00:48:09 So I feel like that happens often, though, with, you said you listened to it. 17, like I listened to it so many times. Right. But I feel like that happens to a lot of people where you think, oh my God, it's crazy, I'm listening to this one song over and over and over again. But I caught myself on the subway today
Starting point is 00:48:26 listening to one song four times in a row because the first three times, I was like, I didn't listen to it enough. I didn't pay attention to it enough. Your top artists were all rap? My top art. Not all rap because Beyonce was in there. Oh, Beyonce, right, right.
Starting point is 00:48:37 But mostly, it was Drake, Kanye, Aesap Rocky, Drake, Kanye, Aesap Rocky, Lil Wayne, and Beyonce. Which I feel like was pretty on brand. And what was your number one album? My number one album was the Homecoming Live album from Coachella. Super on brand for the both of us. Like, you hyped, I remember, like, when that came out and you just could not talk about anything else for so long. So it really just makes sense. And like we said, we don't even,
Starting point is 00:49:03 we don't use Spotify, but everybody who listens to the podcast on Spotify, amazing. It felt, I felt so loved by everybody tagging us in that. It was, it was so great. And we saw all of them. I know it's hard because you can't reshare because people get so annoyed when you do that a lot. But really, it was so, so, so, so nice. It was so nice to see also because we always think that people just listen on iTunes or wherever they listen. And you kind of forget about Spotify and it was really great to see how many people are listening on Spotify. Because I personally don't listen to podcasts on Spotify. Yes.
Starting point is 00:49:34 But you can. But you can. And lots of people do it. Right. So I think that, um, sorry, what was I going to say? I just lost trivia party and it just fucked me up. Sorry. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:49:44 It's because I wasn't paying attention clearly because I'm on the radio right now. Um, but yes, because we are so used to people listening on iTunes. We don't really think about people listening on Spotify, but we had so many people tag us. Like friend said, we can't obviously share every single one because then people will follow us. But we saw them. And we love you guys. And it was just really cool to see because you see all these like famous singers and whatnot posting people tagging them.
Starting point is 00:50:11 And then people are tagging us. Yeah. Wow. People are actually listening to us. It was very, very cool. Billy Elish was the top artist of the year on Apple. And her, my number one song was Bad Guy by Billy Elish. But she wasn't in my top five.
Starting point is 00:50:26 artist, which was, I thought was interesting. But when you click more, you could see your top 10 and she was in there. Right, right. There was some, there was, there was, there was ones that I was kind of confused about too. But I mean, all my top songs for Jones Brothers songs. And then one Mackey Rogers song cracked, cracked my top 10. One I was upset about was that the Jonas brother's album didn't even crack my top five, which I found shocking because I am surprised by that too. I am shocked because I definitely listened to the Jonas Brothers album more than I listened to Lover. And Lover was my third album. We also don't know how
Starting point is 00:51:00 and how this is like gathered, right? Is it is one when, in the top albums, is it like when you play the album start to finish? Does that count as once? Or is it like just from playing one song from the album? I don't think it's playing one song because I think Billy Eilish's album would have been my number one because the song
Starting point is 00:51:16 was number one. Right, right, right. But Lover was number three and then DeBaby's new album was my second one, which doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Did you like leave your phone on repeat? I I can play it over and over. Promise you that I have no idea why.
Starting point is 00:51:33 Do you share it with your family? No. I have no idea why his album is my second listen to album, but he's not even in my top five artists. I listen to AASAP Rocky's testing album way more this year. I didn't even come out this year. And I listen to it way more than I did his album. So I'm a little confused.
Starting point is 00:51:53 And I know people always complain about how, like when these things come out, and everybody posted on their Instagram story, their top artists, whatever, and people are like, nobody cares. Like, I like seeing it. I enjoy, like, it doesn't bother me. I like seeing what other people are listening to.
Starting point is 00:52:06 If, like, people are listening to the same thing as me. Or if I see somebody and I'm like, oh, my God, I don't know a single person on that list. It's also like when people, I agree with you, because it's also when people post pictures of songs they're listening to. Like, some people hate that. I like it.
Starting point is 00:52:20 Oh, I like it too. Then go and listen to the song. I know. Charlotte Lawrence, who I'm sure you've heard of, I've never really listened to her music besides when I saw people posting about her. And now I listen to her music. So I feel like it's good because it gives you more people to listen to that you usually wouldn't.
Starting point is 00:52:35 Or Olivia O'Brien. I just discovered like on Instagram I wouldn't have and I listen to her music now. It's good. So I think that people, I like when people post their stuff. I know. I guess maybe we'll have to make the move to having our own Spotify accounts, huh? Like I feel like we, I feel like it's probably very rare that the two. of us, both of us, like, don't have her own Spotify accounts. I've just been lazy with it because I
Starting point is 00:53:01 have been using my sisters for so long years now. I'm stuck in my like iTunes days. Like I just, I like Spotify better. I know. But you just use your sisters. Like I, I, I was, I always use iTunes. I never changed to Spotify. And then when it got to the point where like everybody was using Spotify, it was almost out of spite that I was like, no, I'm still, I'm sticking to iTunes, whatever. But then when Apple music came out, I was like, perfect. Now I don't have to switch to Spotify. It looks the same. Everything's like still in my music app on my phone.
Starting point is 00:53:31 Like I don't have to use a whole different app. I know this sounds so dumb, but Spotify's like, it was dark. Black and green. Yeah, I was like, I don't like this. This is dark. So I just stayed. Do you think it's sketchy? It was that simple.
Starting point is 00:53:42 Like I just didn't like how dark it was, which sounds so dumb. But. So are you not a dark mode person on your phone? No, I'm not either. I used it for Twitter when you could just do Twitter. Like now you can turn your whole phone to dark mode. and I used it for Twitter for a while I did not like it
Starting point is 00:53:57 I don't like it people will shame you for that but I'm just like why would I It's dark It's dark like it's sad I don't know It's sad for me They say it's better for your eyes
Starting point is 00:54:06 It definitely is better for your eyes You know what at this point We're fucked anyway with our eyes Yeah yeah There's no going back But yeah that's I mean I'm sure people listening Will probably make fun of us too
Starting point is 00:54:15 For not using Spotify But just know that I do I do feel left out There are a lot of times when like people post songs that I listen to on their Instagram store on Spotify and it's like play on Spotify and I'm like I can't even click that you know what I do like I see people post songs I'm like wow I want to listen to that I got to go to Apple music I got to type in the artist yeah it's a whole thing but I think
Starting point is 00:54:37 now we should try to finally make the jump to Spotify I'm a little upset because I had a lot of playlist on my sister Spotify that I made that she would also listen to because she likes, because I would find, like, rap songs that she would like, and then she would go into my playlist, and then it was like a surprise to her, ooh, a new, a new song. Well, you could still share a playlist, right? Like, when, if you have your own account. Right. I think hopefully I can transfer the playlist and then my account. Yeah, definitely. Or you can just, when you make your own, you can go to her, Spotify, and just add the playlist. But just adding, oh, true, I could just add the playlist. Yeah, you could just add the whole playlist. Right. Okay. I thought that I would have to go through every single song and add and then separate the playlist. Because I have my rap playlists. Then I have a shower playlist and then I have a working out playlist even though I don't work out, but there's like fun songs on there. And there's an oldies one. Yeah. So there's a lot of different ones. Yeah. I think I can definitely. Yeah, I think you can definitely just just add it. I'll think about it. I'm on some weird family sharing Apple music. I don't know what it is. But like we're all attached to like one app. We all have our own Apple music. But it's like a like we have our own account. But it's all. I don't know. It's weird. Like even if I get rid of it, I think I'm still on it.
Starting point is 00:55:48 And you fuck your family over. I think, yeah, it's a whole. But that's what they do, you know, with those, they lock you in. Apple really knows how to lock you in. It's our new segment where we will be giving you all the details about the best celebrity conspiracy theories out on the internet. We are going to start with Avivine, which is one of the best. Yeah. One of the best ones. We're going to do this every single Monday. So send in all of your theories. We're going to really research each one, dive into it right from the beginning. So we're going to do that now, starting with Avrilavine.
Starting point is 00:58:41 Yeah. Okay. So to lay this out. Right. Tell the, like, the overall theory. The overall theory is that Avrilavine is dead. Yes. And has been dead since 2003.
Starting point is 00:58:55 Yeah. And she was replaced by an actress named Melissa Vandella. Yes. And Melissa has just been living as Avrilavine since her album under my skin. Yeah. So that's the general theory. Right. That's the theory.
Starting point is 00:59:08 that's like if you ever hear people say like well is that the real avrilavine it's because this theory has gone viral on social media like multiple times during different years like sometimes you never know when it pops up again and it makes like a big resurgence the there's a big one twitter account which i tried to find and that's gone the twitter account just either doesn't exist or like twitter wipe the account suspended at givanshi ass what a great twitter She don't she ass. She's not she asked. So classy.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Yeah, they had a whole thread in 2017 go absolutely viral. It had like 128,000 retweets. It really blew up. And that's like what I think put it on the scene nationally. Like everybody really started talking about it. I mean before that too, because there was this blog. Averill is dead. It's from a Brazilian fan website.
Starting point is 01:00:03 I think it was created in 2011. It was created in 2011. And although some sites that I was looking at said that this theory has started, has started as far back as 2005 with fans saying this, who knows. But the blog, the original blog that like stemmed more of the theory was this guy, a person who knows in 2011. And to be clear, you cannot read it unless you. Well, you can put it in Google Translate.
Starting point is 01:00:28 You can put it in Google Translate, which I did not do. Yeah. But you can do that. But if you go to other articles, they'll just explain it for you. Right, right. Which is what we did here. I have looked at I actually have it up on my go
Starting point is 01:00:39 I have it up in on Google Translate right now it's it's you can read it like it makes sense but it's obviously tough because it was originally written in Portuguese but the original website is averilestamorta
Starting point is 01:00:54 dot blogspot com so really really went in on the whole thing now this all started when they think that Averill had her debut, her massive album, Let Go came out in 2002.
Starting point is 01:01:12 She was like punk rock, 18 years old, Canada, Canadian, and it absolutely blew up. Cater boy, you know, the whole... Complicated, hit songs. Noah put some of those in there and hide people up. You know, absolute bangers. And that she was young and the fame hit her fast and she fell into a depression and she didn't like the spotlight
Starting point is 01:01:59 so that her record label hired an actress, Melissa Vandela, who looked like her, to kind of sub in for her paparazzi shots, events that she didn't want to go to, whatever. And they said in 2003, because of the depression, that she ended up killing herself. Right. And the label didn't want this to come out, didn't want everybody to know because she was, you know, doing so well in her career that they just got Melissa Vandela to take over and Savra Levine.
Starting point is 01:02:30 Right. And now Melissa Vandela, if you look Melissa Vandela up, you will only get results of Ava Levine because there's no record of Melissa Vandela being a real person. There's no records of her. There's absolutely nothing besides what we know. Yes. And you would think like if you were an actress, there would be some kind of, you know, maybe like an IMDB page. I mean, from people of Barst will have IMDB pages. Like you think that if she had ever worked a day in her life, she would have something like that. But I mean, yeah, maybe it was all wiped. Who knows? Who knows? Who knows? Who knows? This is why we're diving into this. So apparently Melissa makes her entrance. Averill has now passed away. She's not alive. And then Averill Under My Skin Comes Out in 2004. That's the next album.
Starting point is 01:03:14 In this album, there were multiple songs, one being slipped away, where people think that she was hinting to, you know, transitioning into Melissa. I didn't think this was good support to the theory whatsoever. Because the lyrics to me seemed like. they were just lyrics that you would sing about maybe like a boy slipping away from your fingers or something. I think the more compelling evidence to me has always been like the appearance stuff and that, you know?
Starting point is 01:03:45 Right. Just because she's a punk, she's like a punk rock singer, you know? Like all of her lyrics are fairly angsty. Like I think that's kind of just ties in with her persona. But people love pointing at. pointing out different lyrics, even from her album in 2007, like they were, there's like people, even thought my happy ending was about this as well.
Starting point is 01:04:09 The one slipped away where they think this supports the theory is crazy to me. The lyrics are, now you're gone, now you're gone. There you go, there you go. Somewhere I can't bring you back. Now you're gone, now you're gone. That could be about literally anything. So I think that that's kind of a dumb part of this theory. But then there have been,
Starting point is 01:04:31 differences that people have pointed out in what she looks like. So when she, you know, first made her, like, appearance on the scene, Ava Levine dressed very punk rock. She wore pants. She did not wear skirts. She didn't wear dresses. Her hair was always straight, parted down the middle in front of her face, kind of. Like, you know, when you would, you can sometimes put your hair behind your back and
Starting point is 01:04:54 then sometimes put it in front of you. It was always in front of her. And then after all of this changed. She started wearing dresses. She started wearing skirts, her hair wavy, not really parting it the same way, which I think is kind of just like evolution of yourself and sometimes you adapt different styles. But the way that Ava Levine went from super like punk rock and angsty to all of a sudden she's singing about like, hey, hey, you, you, I don't like your girlfriend. And being obsessed with Hello Kitty, it was just, it was different. It was a, it seemed like a very drastic change.
Starting point is 01:05:27 So there is that. There's also people were looking at. the album inserts like for the CDs like when they would have pictures of handwritten lyrics and things like that and they said that her handwriting really changed that from let go she had a different kind of handwriting
Starting point is 01:05:43 that her autograph also changed she used to sign her name one way and then you know after 2003 her signature her autograph looked different the height thing people were like she she was listed so apparently apparently Google has her height at 5-1 now
Starting point is 01:06:02 if you Google Avaluvian's height. But allegedly in 2002, if you Googled her height, it was 5-2. Yes. That is the one that kind of freaks me out. Although it's one inch, it changes like, I say I'm 5-4, but then sometimes I say I'm 5-3 because if you measured me, I'm
Starting point is 01:06:18 probably more to 5-3. You know, it's kind of a confusing thing with height. Although you don't shrink unless you're old. Right. I think that's just a common thing. I feel like people don't shrink. You normally don't unless you're getting older. There were also people pointed out differences in the nose, differences in her eye shape, and then there were like beauty marks on her on her face and arms that weren't appearing in other pictures. To me, the nose, it looks different in some pictures and then looks the same in other pictures. Yeah. And the eye shape, like maybe maybe Avrovene kind of freaks me out though because there's some, there was, so this vid X on YouTube has posted all these different like comparisons of Avril then, Avril now, whatever or so. And the one. One where there was from her Wish You Were Here video in 2011, they were saying that it almost looked like there was two different avarles in the video at one point.
Starting point is 01:07:10 Like she's in a bathtub. It almost looks like they used two different avarles. Because in one version of her, there is like the inside of her eye. I forget the name, the scientific term for it. But like, you know, the inside corner of your eye. One averil, like it kind of went in downward. and then the other Avril, it kind of just stuck straight out
Starting point is 01:07:32 and kind of like didn't have any downward motion. I was like, how do you change that? Right. Because what I was going to say was now this day and age we're so used to people changing their face and whatnot due to like Botox and fillers and facelifts. And you don't have to get plastic surgery to change your face nowadays.
Starting point is 01:07:50 You could just inject something and it changes. But this was in 2002 and 2003 and she was young. Was Avril Avivine changing her face? back then with fillers and plastic surgery? I don't know. And obviously the height one. And that's all of the things that support this theory.
Starting point is 01:08:10 Besides Ava Levine being confronted about this, a few times. One of them being on the Kyle and Jackie O's show, which was fairly recently, maybe not 2019. I think it was a lot at the beginning of the year she was doing press. November 8th, 2018. So a year ago. Okay. In February of this year, she also had some statements about it.
Starting point is 01:08:32 Right. So in this one, we have the clip. We'll play it. Did you laugh at the rumors that went around where you no longer exist and there's a clone of you? So you died like years ago when there's a clone pretending to be you. That's mental. Yeah, some people think that I'm not a real me, which is so weird. Like, why would they even think that?
Starting point is 01:08:51 I don't know. I love this game. There's some whack jobs out there. I got into it. I can't remember. It's something weird. Even when I was looking at the article, like the big conspiracy theory, I'm like, do you know what? Maybe they're right. You read a conspiracy theory and he gets sucked into it because they've got so much evidence that proves you're not real. That one of all the conspiracy theories was probably the most far-fetched.
Starting point is 01:09:15 So to me, when she says like, oh, why would they think that that's so weird? Yeah, yeah. I just feel like if there was a conspiracy theory about me out there about somebody, about me dying and somebody replacing me, I would be way more blind. I'm like mind blown. I'd be like, oh my God, this thing is ridiculous. How funny is it?
Starting point is 01:09:34 Like I would talk about it more. But it seems like every time it's brought up to her, maybe she doesn't really talk about it or touch on it. Like it kind of freaks her out, I think. Which I understand. But at the same time, and who knows, because I'm not as big as a celebrity is, or not even close to Ava Levine.
Starting point is 01:09:52 But I feel like your reaction, would be a little more different, right? You would be laughing about it. You would talk about it a little more in depth. I can't tell what my reaction would be, though, because I don't know if I would also, like, I can't tell if I would go that route or if I would just think in my head,
Starting point is 01:10:09 like, this is so ridiculous. I'm not even going to give it the time of day. Like, I don't want to talk about how, like, I didn't kill myself in 2003, you know? Right. It's just hard for me to decide on how I would feel about this. Yeah. Because I understand what you're saying, too.
Starting point is 01:10:23 The same thing happened with Paul McCartney, and he laughed it off. So see but I like that. I like that he laughed it off. Yeah. I guess I think also like not that Aver Levine is odd, but I feel like she's always been a fairly elusive celebrity, which you know kind of plays into the theory. But she hasn't really been seen much.
Starting point is 01:10:46 And then there, you know, she took a break from music and she came back and it's like, who knows what's been going on? She married the guy from Nickelback. I forgot my most important fact. the one that I believe the most leads to this being true is she did a photo shoot with the name Melissa
Starting point is 01:11:02 written on her hand. Right, right, right. So if you just, if you look up Aver Levine Melissa on hand, this picture comes up where Aver Levine is posing with the name Melissa on Sharpie written on her hand. Yeah, that's a weird. Why does she have the name Melissa
Starting point is 01:11:18 written on her hand? Where does that come from? Or maybe she's in Photoshop. Does she known about this? Maybe she's known about this. for so long and just was like leaving an Easter egg for people. Or did the guy who made this originally see this picture and think Melissa that's the name I'm going to use
Starting point is 01:11:34 and just created this character Melissa Vandella and made this whole theory up because he saw this picture. Do you know what that picture is from? I do not. Yeah. Because I'm trying to think like timeline wise of when this really became
Starting point is 01:11:50 such a public theory. There's also a lot of videos on YouTube too. If you look that compares her voice, they say that her first album let go was she just sounded different that like the new Averill after
Starting point is 01:12:06 Melissa took over was more of a soprano and that like even in interviews and stuff her pitch kind of when she was talking would change. So yeah, but that also was like if you listen to Britney Spears
Starting point is 01:12:21 oh I mean her voice sounds totally different and she sounds different. And she sounds different now, but even when she was younger on the Mickey Mouse Club, if you listen to her voice, she sounded, even much more like an adult when she was way younger because she sang how she would sing. And then I think the industry and whatever made her sing in this sexy lower voice. Yeah. And it, like, changed her voice a little bit. So I feel like that is a common thing with singers.
Starting point is 01:12:46 I mean, Ariana Grande, she changed her voice for Victoria's Sam and Cat. So I feel like you can change your voice. And then the, so like you said, like she had talked about it on that radio show. In February of 2019, she also told EW that it was just a dumb internet rumor. She was flabbergasted that people bought into it and that she looks exactly the same. She thinks she looks exactly the same. So that was another time that she addressed it. There was another tweet that kind of went not viral, but it definitely got some recognition.
Starting point is 01:13:18 In 2017, the Twitter account at only models with the Z at the end took a screenshot of her Mother's Day post. Like as she had tweeted that Mother's Day, Happy Mother's Day to my incredible mother and everyone else's mom out there. And then this Twitter account posted a screenshot of a text from who knows who. Like she could have wrote it herself. But it was maybe a friend or who knows. Who claims to live on the same street as,
Starting point is 01:13:48 her mom in some small town in Ontario, Canada. And she wrote that she remembers he or she or who, I don't know who it is. There was no name. It was just a screenshot of a text. That they remember having a paper out. And he or she or whoever was had asked Averill's mom about her daughter and that she got very emotional and said that she misses her a lot
Starting point is 01:14:13 and that they don't talk much anymore. And so that, that step. more replies of people trying to find photos of Averill and her mom and were there pictures from before 2003 or after 2003 and what kind of relationship they have. So it really, it goes deep. That part is creepy to me.
Starting point is 01:14:35 And this goes deep, but to end each... And also truly this girl could have just typed this message in her phone and posted it because there's no like zero credit, credible source in this. Exactly. So I feel like to end each of these segments, we should decide on whether or not we're in on this conspiracy theory or not. I think that I am not in on this conspiracy theory.
Starting point is 01:15:01 And listen, there are some that I've been now researching that I am in on. I am not in on this one. I thought I was originally when this first came out. I was like, oh, my God, that must be so true. Like, this is all so true. But now doing a deeper dive into it and really going back. and forth. I'm like, okay, this is a reach. And to, you know, sum it up, the guy who created the original blog then posted a post about it. Yeah. And was like, guys, Averill is not dead. I did this to
Starting point is 01:15:30 show you how far internet rumors can spread, how much you can believe it. And I mean, it worked because this is never going away unless Averill posts with Melissa. Never going away. Side by side. I will always wonder who Melissa Vandela is, if this is a real person, if there are any Melissa Vandela's in the world out there that are thought to be involved in this. It's, you are right. Like, I think when we first heard about this, it was insane. And you get caught, like, watching these YouTube videos where they're like, look at this freckle compared to that freckle.
Starting point is 01:16:04 And we're like, oh my God. Oh, my God. The freckles shrunk one centimeter. But I saw a very funny tweet when I was looking through all this stuff, too. That was like, you know how everybody right now is doing the, at the beginning of the decade and at the end of the decade tweets and it's like you know two different pictures somebody it did Taylor Swift at the beginning of the decade and Taylor Swift at the end of the decade and the first one was like her teen Vogue cover from you know whatever 2009 2010 and she looks so different
Starting point is 01:16:32 than how she looks now um Taylor Swift at the end of the decade they used her British Vogue cover and somebody had retweeted it and wrote Avrilavine versus Melissa Vandela so it just made me laugh because I was like, it's so true. Like, if you look at that, those Taylor Swift photo, Taylor stuff covers, like, oh, you know, this looks different. Her eyes look different. Her nose looks different. Everything looks different.
Starting point is 01:16:54 Right. Which is just what happens, especially in Hollywood. Who knows what Aver Levine could have done to her face? Like, maybe she did get a nose job. Maybe she did. Right. Do this, that and the other thing. Maybe the pressures of fame were making her want to change her face.
Starting point is 01:17:07 Yeah. Like, maybe in 2003 she just got some work done. Yeah, maybe in 2003 she just got a lot of work done. Yeah. We'll settle on that. That's our final consensus. I think so. This is one, that is, it's enjoyable because it's like, oh, what the fuck.
Starting point is 01:17:20 And every time you hear Melissa Vendell's name, it makes you laugh because you're like, oh, the real laugh for Levine. But, yeah, I'm with you. This one doesn't quite get me as some others have. I think we can both confirm. But you guys can decide for yourself. You decide for yourself. Let us know with your information. If you think we're wrong, DM us.
Starting point is 01:17:40 Let us know why you think we're wrong. and keep sending us your favorite celebrity theories. Look up the, I know it's hard because this is a podcast. You can't really like look at all the pictures of the videos, but go watch some of the videos and decide, see what you think, because that's probably where most of the evidence lives, probably. That would be my guess. That wraps up today's episode.
Starting point is 01:18:03 We hope you enjoyed it. We hope you enjoyed our new segment. And don't forget to keep sending those theories in. my room can't take back the love that I love and easier said than done I thought you were the one listening to my heart just won't let you forget me be falling inside my grave I know he dead I take prescriptions to make me feel lay okay I know it's all in my head now watch it blow in the way and I should have listened to my friends did the shit in the past but I wanted to last you were out of plastic fake I was tangled up in your drastic ways who
