Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. This is... What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Ria and Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Thursday. Woo! This one...
Starting point is 00:00:31 Felt like I was on a roller coaster right there. This one is filled with Friday Energy because it is the Bachelor finale recap. show. I'm sorry to the people who don't listen to it. But saddle up because if you don't, if you don't watch The Bachelor, you want to listen to this recap. You got to at least be interested in the end. Yes. You have to know. Even if you didn't watch. Exactly. It's been so dramatic that you have to know, have to have some idea of what was going on. Right. Even celebrities are watching that don't normally watch. Yeah. Lady Gaga, the Kardashians. Like everybody can, nobody can, nobody can say away from this season. Trent, you're also. Trent is also here. I wasn't sure if I was
Starting point is 00:01:06 supposed to talk or not. No, you are. Okay. I'm here. I'm here. Um, and I'm here. Um, and I'm here. Um, and I'm excited. I want to give a little bit of a, you know, some motivation for the people. I did it last week. People were really excited about it. It's, they said it pumped up their entire day. One woman said to me, I should not be a motivational speaker, but that was only one compared to the many, the many who boosted me up.
Starting point is 00:01:28 That one did not tear me down. I will not let her tear me down. I will only let the people rise me up because this is motivational. Guys, we got through the week. we got through The Bachelor this long season. We thought we would never make it through. We did it. We're here.
Starting point is 00:01:45 We're surviving. Make sure you're being healthy this week, guys. You know, coronavirus is going around. Drink a lot of water. Hand sanitize. Wash your hands. Do what you have to do to be cautious, but don't be scared. Don't panic.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Everything's going to be a-okay. You're not going to get sick. You're going to be just fine. You're going to enjoy your spring. You're going to enjoy your summer. And then when October comes around, maybe you'll go to Coachella because they postponed it. We're not going anymore. But that is fine.
Starting point is 00:02:17 You know who is not being cautious, though? You know who's being reckless who you would never think would do such a thing? Francesca Mariano, who is going to the Big East tournament tonight and also going to the Bahamas next weekend. Francesca Mariano, can we talk to you for a second about this? You're freaking me out. I'm not going to lie. I'm just going to get that out there. I thought that was great.
Starting point is 00:02:38 You want to roll. Thank you, Trent. You're freaking me out, Fran, because you're not acting like Fran. You're acting like Rhea. Well, isn't it funny, though, like you're in that speech in my head, I was like, you might not be okay. Like you're like, everything's going to be okay. I'm like, no, you might.
Starting point is 00:02:52 You might. That's pessimistic, guys. That's not the point of the most motivational speech in the beginning of the show. It's supposed to be like everything's fine. And then when we carry on in the show, that's when we talk about things, you know? That's when we get cynical and pessimistic. You know, I'm not optimistic all the time. But when you first open up the show, that's what you.
Starting point is 00:03:09 you want to hear. Yeah. It's tough. I mean, I feel what you're doing. No, well, first of all, I want to say I feel for all the kids who's like schools are closed. One, I'm sure people are super pumped about it for some schools because like now you don't have to go to class and I'm sure everybody's going to be partying. On the other hand, the schools that are sending everybody just straight up home is kind of crazy. And a lot of now sports are being canceled. I feel bad for like all these kids are probably seniors and it's their last sports
Starting point is 00:03:44 season. They can't play. Everything's being canceled. Everything's being canceled. Now, Rhea is saying this because they just canceled March Madness. For fans. For fans. For fans. March Madness will continue, but there will be no fans at games with the NCAA tournament. Now, the Big East tournament is
Starting point is 00:04:00 going on tonight this weekend. And the Big East officials have said, we're still playing the tournament as planned with fans and whatever. Now, probably the smart move would have been to not have fans because I, right now I feel like New York City is probably absolutely coded in COVID-19. And we just don't know because of, you know, a billion different reasons where governments moving too slow, lack of tests, all of these reasons. But it's still happening. And I have tickets. and I'm healthy and I got my pural in my bag and I'm just going to think that I'm going to be okay.
Starting point is 00:04:48 It's a little bit like every time you drive a car. Like you trust yourself. Right. You are healthy. You are taking all the right steps to make sure you don't get coronavirus. The thing is trusting all the people out there on the road, all of the other people going to Madison Square Garden who might not be abiding by the steps like they are. That's a risk you take every time you get into a car. What a beautiful analogy, Trent.
Starting point is 00:05:06 I have thought about that before. getting into a car, you never know. You don't stop driving. It's really not in your control. But you don't just stop driving. Great points. Now, Fran, I usually would be. And I am going to the Bahamas.
Starting point is 00:05:18 I'm sorry. Yeah, but the Bahamas. That one less logical. You're just like, I'm going. Yeah. That one is my boyfriend bought me a vacation for Christmas and it's coming up. It's next weekend. And unless the airline says we're canceling flights or the hotel says we're not
Starting point is 00:05:37 letting anybody in, I am going to go on this vacation. Oh my God. No, I'm kidding. I wanted to do that to freak you guys out. It worked too. I was like, this is ironic. I saw both your faces. I just wanted to do that. Don't do that in public. I'm sorry. No, I know. I just wanted to do it to you guys. That felt good. But if this was anybody else, I'd be like, yeah, go to the Big East tournament. You had tickets. You're being, you're being careful. But the fact that Fran, you know, she follows the rules. I've been given no rule. I've been giving no rule. Yeah, there's no rules. I've been given no rules.
Starting point is 00:06:10 You're a very cautious person. No, will you back me up here? It's kind of shocking what's happening with Fran right now. Listen, I support you. I follow rules. I follow rules when they are like straightforward written rules. But you're also, it's a little tunnel vision. It's frowned upon.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Everything you're doing is very frowned upon in today's climate. Because if you look at it, being like a little bit of a hip- Pround upon. What? This frowned do things that are frowned upon. Like you mean like usually? Usually. Noah, she usually frowns upon us for doing things.
Starting point is 00:06:43 Yes. I'd be like looking at like a building that's on fire and one of the floors is fine. You're like, that one's fine. I'll just go into that floor. Nothing's wrong with it. Meanwhile, everything around it, everyone's like, don't go in there. You know what, Noah, maybe we want this friend to come out.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Maybe we want her to do these things so she can't be frowning upon us. Guys, it's the same thing is like, I'm going to this game. There's going to be people around this weekend. are you just planning on not leaving wherever you are? Like, are you going to go to a bar? Yeah, I was actually putting out. Having a nice night in my room,
Starting point is 00:07:17 my new room that I've put together. It's really lovely. So I was just going to stay there. But I do understand. I understand what you're saying. If Hank was like, hey, let's go out to dinner. There's this great place you're going to say, no, I can't leave my apartment.
Starting point is 00:07:27 No, I mean, I'm not acting that way. We're still functioning human beings in New York City where we are going out. I'm taking the subway every day. If I'm still doing that, I'm not. doing that. I'm going to then, you know what? I'm probably already screwed. Like, we're all taking the subway anyway. Yeah. That's the worst place. I, I truthfully think, all jokes aside, I truthfully think if we're going to get coronavirus, we're going to get it
Starting point is 00:07:50 anyway. So it is what it is. You just have to be very diligent. Like you said, wash your hands a shit ton. Wash your hands, people. Sanitize. Sanitize. Clean your desk. Clean your workspace. Wash your clothes. Like, you know, because it can, virus can live on your clothes. Wash your clothes. Don't wear the same clothes again. Well, let's just talk about something. Jackets. I'm not washing my jackets all the time. Jackets are tough, but jackets are holding on to the virus. So I think at this
Starting point is 00:08:16 point, like I said, if you're getting it, you're getting it because I'm not washing my big puffer jacket that I don't think is supposed to be put into the wash. Yeah, I'm not with the reflective material. I'm not sure if that's supposed to go in the washing. Yeah, my sweatshirts like shrink if I wash them too much. We're really coming down
Starting point is 00:08:34 on a panic right now. Guys, everything. Shirts, I don't know. I don't like the way they look after you dry them. Underwear? Maybe. I don't know. It's a toss-up.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Guys, everything is going to be okay. Don't panic. Don't panic. That's what French Montana would say. And I would say it if I didn't hate French Montana. Just kidding, I don't hate him. Although he sucked on this podcast. But anyways, just like I said, Bachelor finale, it came, it went.
Starting point is 00:09:02 We know what happened. We're aware of the situation. going to talk about it all. I want you guys to know that we talked about night one of the finale right after it happened. So you will have our reactions to night one. And then we will go into our night two recap. So while you're listening to night one, just know that we did not know the outcome of what was going to happen in night two. So listen to it as that. Listen like these were their initial reactions to night one. This is their reaction to night two. Not as if. we knew it all together. Right, we wanted pure reactions. It's when the episode is the most fresh in our heads.
Starting point is 00:09:41 So, like you said, two parts. We did part one on Tuesday and now part two Wednesday. Yes. So let's start with Monday night. Before we get into the Bachelor finale, aka one of our favorite shows on TV, we need to talk about one of our other favorite networks besides ABC. It is the E Network. Of course, you guys know that we love E, keeping up with the Kardashians, the daily pop, the nightly pop, all of these great shows that they have on there, including The Soup. If you don't know, the Soup was a show previously hosted by Joe McHale
Starting point is 00:10:51 and offered a comic recap of the week's major events in the world of entertainment, sports, politics, and now it is back. The new revamped version of The Soup covers the latest OMG TV moments to the best viral videos, plus everything in between. The series is now hosted by comedian and super fan Jade Catapretta, who catches viewers up on what they miss and offers hilarious commentary
Starting point is 00:11:16 on the most talked about pop culture moments. If you're listening to this show, that means you love pop culture, which means you'll love the soup. Tune in to E Wednesdays at 109 Central for new episodes of The Soup. You Won't regret it. Part 1 of the two-part, two-night bachelor finale, Chris Harrison, live, looking good, studio audience. The episode, they're still in Australia, and Peter has his final dates,
Starting point is 00:11:46 not final, almost final dates with Hannah Ann and Madison. And he's with his parents and you get these great moments of him with his family and, you know, he's talking to his mom and we all thought Barbara was a good guy. And so she basically, Basically, he meets, or Hannah-Anne meets his family. And it's just his mom, his dad, his brother, Jack. And Hannah-Anne, I don't know what kind of spell she put on Peter's parents. But they absolutely adored Hannah-Anne.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Just loved Hannah-Anne. And if you recall, I think all three of us before Monday night, agreed that there was just absolutely no shot that Hannah-Anne was going to win this thing. Like there was just, like I just, and I still don't think so. But there's just something about it where like, hey, Hannah-Anne doesn't stand a chance. But then this all kind of flipped when Barbara was like, it's Hannah-Anne. Well, it's, I was based on Pete being so into Madison. Right.
Starting point is 00:12:59 And so clearly kind of into Hannah-Anne-Anne, but not nearly as much as Madison. So we just figured that that was going to be pretty evident to the family. And they were going to be like, oh, well, you're clearly just more into Madison. So Hannah Ann's a nice girl. She's sweet. But she's not the one for you. It's clearly Madison. That completely flipped when Hannah-Anne met the family.
Starting point is 00:13:18 Listen, we could have guessed every single ending to this show. Never would I have ever guessed that Peter's mom would have been talking about Hannah-Anne. Never. That never, ever, ever crossed my mind. When we were talking about who's Peter's Mom talking about. talking about it has to be Madison maybe it's Hannah B maybe it's we were saying Kelly Kelly was sent home weeks ago we were saying the producer yeah we were so sure it wasn't Hannah Ann that we thought it was the producer Julie she was not even an option Hannah Ann wasn't even an option
Starting point is 00:13:50 even though she was the final two nobody thought it'd be Hannah Ann just absolutely did not think that now that we know are we that surprise that somebody was captivated by Hannah Ann's blue eyes like I mean, come on. Barbara. The crying eyes, she's like an angel. Oh, no, she was absolutely put under the Han-Anne-A-Selt. I don't want to use Barbara's terms of angel, angel on earth because she was hypnotized. Truthfully, it was hypnotized.
Starting point is 00:14:17 I think Han-an has the power to hypnotize people because even just me watching her on TV when she's talking and she's got her big blue eyes and you just kind of, like I can't tell you one thing that was really said during. the Hannah-Anne meets Peter's parents date. Like that whole point, I just knew, I knew they were having a good time and I just kept watching being like, she is really just so beautiful.
Starting point is 00:14:43 There was no, like I really was not registering anything that she was saying. I just know she loves Peter so much. She sort of got the Dean thing going on where Dean's eyes, you're like, he could be a cult leader where you're like they'll follow him doing anything. Hannah-Anne's got a similar thing going on.
Starting point is 00:14:57 Where you're right, I don't totally remember what they talked about, but I know that they were completely enthralled with Hannah-in-A. Oh, yeah. I will say when I watch Hannah-Anne, I believe her and Peter in love. When I see Peter, I believe that their brother and sister. It's totally opposite.
Starting point is 00:15:10 If you just have the camera on Hannah-Anne and you don't show anybody else, and Peter is not next to Hannah-Anne, I'm totally buying what she's selling. I'm like, they're in love. I get it. But then you see them next to each other on the screen. You're like, there's no way. They don't really like each other. It's obvious.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Unless they're only showing us the parts where Peter and Madison totally. don't look like they belong together because, I mean, Peter and Hannah-Anne, because that could also be the case because they want us rooting for Madison. Yeah. Who knows? What we do know is that Peter likes Madison more than Hannah-Anne.
Starting point is 00:15:44 It is very obvious. There's no question about it. Definitely. But the problem is, and it shouldn't be a problem because your parents don't run your life. You do. Peter's parents are obsessed with Hannah-Anne. They don't like Madison.
Starting point is 00:15:59 Peter fucks. Madison doesn't. Peter likes to part. party. Madison doesn't. When Barb was going on telling Madison this, I could not stop laughing. I was like, she's straight up telling Madison that Peter likes to fucking party and there's no way that's going to be stopped. It was, it was really, it was really insane. First of all, let's discuss the, the Madison
Starting point is 00:16:23 Peter conversation that happened before Madison went to Peter's parents because they were just, they had a pretty serious conversation where Peter once again was like look you you gave me an ultimatum he said it but he did it in a I thought he handled it pretty well because he's like look you gave me an ultimatum
Starting point is 00:16:46 that's fine that's how you feel like I respect you for that but at the end of the day it was an ultimatum and they both have voiced their stances very well like Madison
Starting point is 00:17:01 explains yourself very well and that like those are my beliefs that's those are the standards that I have that's what I feel is right and Peter being like okay that's great this is how I feel and it's different from how you feel but we both really like each other so how are we how are we going to do this so there's a lot of forehead touching it's like they're continuing on while they love touching their foreheads just love forehead touching and talking they're continuing on while acknowledging that they're very different like they're like I feel this way and I feel this way, but there's also this part in the middle where we really like each other. Right.
Starting point is 00:17:33 So we're going to sort of, that was what was so surprising with Madison, where she gave him the ultimatum. He clearly broke it with the other girls. And then she was still like, yeah, I'll take the rose. I think it's because she likes him so much that she's like, I still have these principles. Yeah. But there's that thing where we like each other where let's just keep moving forward. Yeah, it was weird because even when, like, when that conversation ended before they went
Starting point is 00:17:54 into the house to see Peter's family, Peter was so happy. he was like, everything's great. We're great. We're good. And I'm like, buddy, it is not. You're not, you guys aren't good. Like, there's still going to be, these still are obviously going to be these problems. And Madison hit him with like, if you had proposed, you know, during that day before the fantasy suites, I would have said yes.
Starting point is 00:18:18 Like, really just the very intense stuff. Right. And while I'm watching this, I'm like, Peter is just not saying the right thing. Like, he clearly wants Madison. and just let Madison know she's the one for you. Just do that. But I'm also like, but I also, he clearly has his mom in his ear now.
Starting point is 00:18:39 Right. But I'm also confused about Madison being like, if you just proposed right there, like that's not the show though, Madison. I know you would have liked if he just proposed right there. And maybe we would have liked that too, honestly. But, you know, you have to follow the show. Right.
Starting point is 00:18:54 How it goes. You know, you guys have to both show up. Yep. Yep. It's true. I can't even remember last time I actually saw that happen. What? What is supposed to happen?
Starting point is 00:19:03 Where, like, where they show, they both show up and somebody gets proposed to. Two people get final dates and then those, and then the person goes and picks out an engagement ring. And then the two people show up at the end and they pick what show. Yeah, I don't think I've seen that in a while. Like, if you are a new fan of the show, you're like, that's foreign to me. I don't understand what that means. Right, because I guess we did see it with Hannah. Hannah and Jed and Tyler,
Starting point is 00:19:27 but then we didn't see it, it was kind of taken away very quickly from us because, you know. Right. And also there was no, not that, I mean, obviously there have been spoilers for so long, but I feel like with the Hannah B finale, by the time we had reached that,
Starting point is 00:19:47 I feel like most people knew that it was Jed just because of all the drama surrounding Jed. For sure. So there was less, of a surprise element. This finale has just been surprise after surprise because not only were we not expecting hand-an to make this heavy charge to the end. No.
Starting point is 00:20:09 Madison, Madison, but I don't know. I still do. I really like Madison. She's got to take it easy on the bottom lash mascara. But other than that is great. Like, I can't, how many, how many coats do you think she puts on those bad boys? A lot of coats. She really gets in there.
Starting point is 00:20:30 She really gets in there. She really makes sure every lash is perfectly tinted with mascara. Just, I don't know how, because just logistically, like, when I put mascara on my bottom lashes, if I put too much, it completely gets all under my eyes. You know? It gets under my eyes, too. So how does she do it? Maybe she has a special brush. How does she do it?
Starting point is 00:20:53 How does she do it? Yeah, maybe she, like, puts little covers under her eyes when she does it and takes it off. You know, everybody has their daily makeup routine. You know what I mean? Everybody has the thing they do. Trend's like, yeah, I got what you're saying. Fran knows what I'm saying. We all have our daily makeup routines.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Madison is just so significant, though. You know what I mean? Like hers just really stands out. Right. Those eyelashes. They really do. Because she knows how to make those blue eyes pop. The two of them.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Beautiful eyes. Beautiful. Everyone on the show is gorgeous. It's really, at one point, I just throw that out there. At one point during the episode, I actually kind of got mad at my parents that I am not a brunette with blue eyes
Starting point is 00:21:36 because brunettes with blue eyes, they're gorgeous. There's two of them. I'm staring at them. They're both stunning. They are superior. And my dad has, my dad has blue eyes.
Starting point is 00:21:47 And it's just, you know, it just wasn't for me. My, didn't make it. My dream look was dark brown hair, brunette with green eyes and tan and maybe some freckles. So basically Madison beer. I look exactly how I wanted to look.
Starting point is 00:22:05 If I had a choice, this is what I would have looked like 100 times out of 100. Yep. I'm happy for you, Trent. This is peak. That's fulfilling. That's beautiful. That was, yeah. Barb versus Madison was something to see because these two stood their green.
Starting point is 00:22:23 round. Yep. Like Barbara was like, look, like Rees said, my son, he likes to socialize. That's what they said a billion times. He likes to socialize. And, you know, he's going out. He has a problem. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:22:35 But they're like, right, he loves to party. Because like people like to party, but not to the point where you keep bringing it up. At one point I thought Barbara was going to say like, my son's a man. Like, you know, I didn't know where she was going with this. Are they drinking buddies? Maybe like, when he goes out, she's like, yeah, I'll go out and have a he was like, don't take him away from me. Barba loves line dancing.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Yes. Yeah. And Madison just explained herself. She explained herself very well and she said how she feels about it all. And when it comes down to it, it makes sense that Barbara would think that these two are not compatible. Right. I completely understand her thinking these two are not compatible. But because of the dramatics and the overrefer,
Starting point is 00:23:22 and the over-emotion. Someone hired Barb to be in their play. It became so intense. The way that Jack Peter's brother was just like, hey man, you really like to have sex and she doesn't. Right. Do you? I don't know if this is going to work.
Starting point is 00:23:39 Like Jack was like, I don't really see you guys working together. The thing is, everything that they're saying are things that we've probably said on this show where it's like they're not compatible because one likes sex, one doesn't have it. But where I didn't like it was when Barbara is trying to essentially manipulate Pete and being like Hannah Ann is an angel on earth. God put, I prayed for it. God put her in this place so you could be with her. Not Madison, this girl who you're not compatible with.
Starting point is 00:24:06 That's the part I didn't like. The part about Jack saying you like to socialize and have sex and go out and party. And Barbara saying that as well, that makes sense. It's the part where they push that a little too far where they're trying to make the decision for him. Yeah. That's what I didn't like. Right. I agree with everything you're both saying because, like you said, we've talked about it on this show before our concerns about Madison and Peter just not being compatible because they like different things.
Starting point is 00:24:30 I didn't know it was this deep. Like, I didn't know Peter came home to his family and told them every single time he had sex because they are very aware of how much Peter likes to drink, how much he likes to be physical. Did he still live at home on Hannah B season? Wasn't that like a thing that he like still lived? Peter's parents are cheering on girls coming through the house. Peter got another one. They put a little check on the fridge. I could.
Starting point is 00:24:55 They have tally marks. That's 20. Yeah. High-fiving him in the morning. He could be out of there, and this could be totally wrong. But I feel like I do remember because he was a pilot and like not really home that much that he still had. Here's what I do know. No one has had a quicker fall from grace than Barbara.
Starting point is 00:25:12 Everyone was like, we're waiting on this part of the season. It was this season's fence jump, her crime. Be like, bring her home. Turns out it's not a lot. about Madison's about Hannah Ann. And then, like, I just, I started to dislike her so fast. Things got borderline weird also when she was talking to Madison. It didn't quite cross the line, but one more comment, and it could have been very
Starting point is 00:25:35 uncomfortable, because I started to feel like Barbara was looking at Madison, and not that she was pressuring her, but kind of making Madison feel like she couldn't fulfill. Phil Peters needs. You know, like, I felt like she was talking about it. Oh my God. I'm cringing out of my skin. Right. It started to get that tone and I was like, okay, where are we going, Barb? My boy needs the cuck.
Starting point is 00:26:01 What? All right. That's going to do it for me. Thanks for having me all once again. I might have to see myself out after that. You're right, though. No, it got very weird, like that they would not. So the conversation, like I said, the conversation was super strange.
Starting point is 00:26:18 There's not really more to say about it besides, like Madison. Like Madison's lifestyle is very different than Peters. And Madison, I think spending time with Peter's family and having those conversations, Madison was like, oh shit. Like this is, this is real world stuff. We've been living in this fantasy land where we think that everything's going to be fine. But here are Peter's parents who very clearly don't think we would work. That's got to get into your head.
Starting point is 00:26:46 And no wonder she's up and left. Exactly. If you had this guy's, you want this guy to propose and you have his mom just being like, not you. Like I would believe. Even Pete got defensive about it though. Like when his mom was like, Hannah Ann is the one for you. God put her here.
Starting point is 00:27:01 So you get with her. He was like, you guys don't understand. Like I understand that you don't like Madison or Hannah Ann. Madison as much as Hannah Ann. But you haven't been with us this whole time. Like he's like, I like Madison more, but you guys are telling me Hannah Ann for some reason that I don't quite understand.
Starting point is 00:27:14 Yeah. I think my favorite part about it was when she was crying hysterically. and Peter was like, you need to stop doing that, mom. Yeah. Just stop it. She was sobbing uncontrollably about how Hannah Ann is an angel on earth. And she was making Madison seem like the devil. Meanwhile, Madison is the one who's pure here and is actually keeping these strong values
Starting point is 00:27:35 that she's holding on to. I feel like Peter's mom kind of made Madison feel bad or try to make her feel bad about the value she had and not just be accepting of it. More like, okay, I understand that. You know, Peter, he's been different. in the past, but maybe Peter and you will adjust to each other and you guys will be great. Just be a normal parent that's like rooting on their kid, whatever they want to do. And you'll support them.
Starting point is 00:28:00 Maybe you don't agree with the decision, but you're going to support them because they know better than you clearly because they've spent more time with Hannah Ann and Madison than you have Barb. It seemed like Barbara was leaning towards the woman that essentially would change. Peter's life the least. Like I feel like Barbara is very content with Peter's life and she loves the life that Peter has and he's close to home and she sees him all the time and, you know, they're one big happy family and Hannah Ann can just slide right in there and it would be fine. I feel like with Madison things could be different. Madison's very close with her family.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Maybe she wants to live in Alabama and, you know, like I almost feel like she's getting like Monster-in-law vibes. like this woman's going to tear my son away from me. I think that's 100% what that. Right. And it is a reflection of like how Peter's mom was acting. Why Peter is so, Ellie tweeted this. Like Peter loves tears because his mom cries so much. And you think that's like a very funny thing.
Starting point is 00:29:07 It is funny. But that also can be very true. You know what I mean? You grow up in this environment. You're used to, you know, people crying to get their way. And you're just used to your mom sobbing all the time. That tears are normal for you. That makes you feel comforting.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Yeah. Comfort because, you know, like when Victoria F was sobbing, he was like, oh my God, it's like my mom. Yeah. No. My reaction to this is like, be helpful. Right. Consul her. Make this better.
Starting point is 00:29:31 I'm so out on Barbara. I don't, I didn't want to, I did not think before last night's episode at no point that I think I'd be like, I'm out on Pete's mom. But I understand. I'm, you know what? I think she's a lady that really loves her son clearly. And I don't think she meant to be disrespectful towards Madison at. all. I think she understands
Starting point is 00:29:50 Madison's values and I think that's she's okay with that. I think it comes in the territory of like these things changing her son's life and she doesn't want like she loves Peter so much as she doesn't want Peter to have to go through any trials problems. I feel like she just wants her son to have this perfect life which is fine but
Starting point is 00:30:12 yeah but like you said the perfect life that also sort of includes her where he's close to home. That's where it starts to get weird when she's making decisions because what he decides affects her. And I'm not, we're kind of, I'm not saying that's what she's doing. We don't necessarily know her motivations. But it just didn't sit right with me where she tried to take control of the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:30:30 It was like, no, Hannah Ann's the one. Even, I know you say you like Madison, but you don't know what's good for you. I know what's good for you. Hannah Ann's the one. Yeah. And I think that it,
Starting point is 00:30:38 you know, it does come from a place just like a motherly instinct type of vibe, but also that reaches the point where it could just become totally controlling. and it's cross the line. Like, yeah, we talked about her earlier. If she went about it a different way, hey, I like Hannah Ann. I'm not really viving with Madison. Imagine, imagine Barb was like, I'm not really vibing with Madison.
Starting point is 00:31:01 Yeah. I actually wouldn't be shocked. Apparently, they're the cool parents. Oh, they're the fuckers. Yes, great tweet. Oh, Trent. Awesome tweet. It was so spot on.
Starting point is 00:31:11 Also, not only like the way they act, but they look like them too. No, that was the first took. The hook wasn't them acting that way. It was aesthetically that I was like, oh, they look like the fuckers from that movie. But once it turned into like my son needs to have sex, I was like, this is the fuckers. I think at one point Barbara Strison says in that movie like, he has a need. Yes. And it's like, that's Pete's mom.
Starting point is 00:31:32 It was, as soon as I saw it, I was like, yes, that's who they are. I was so happy with it. Unreal stuff. So it's, it was Hannah Ann. Like, Barbara's freak out was about Hannah Ann. Bring her home to us. Bring her home to us. Bring her.
Starting point is 00:31:45 Never in my life. Never. I tweeted, I don't care who Barb is, I don't care who Barb is talking about, whoever she is, bring her home. Yeah. Right. We just didn't, we, I didn't expect. Hannah Ann was never in those calculations. If I thought that Barb was going to be screaming about Hannah Ann, I thought she was screaming out Madison. That's why I tweeted that. I was like, get ahead of the game. Yeah. No, no, no, no, no. She doesn't like it. Right. I don't know what it's Easter is going to be so awkward with Madison and Peter. I'm telling you.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Yeah, Madison just sent herself home in a fly infested desert. Oh man. I'm just going home. That date was uncomfortable just obviously from the conversation. Like it was very sad to watch because I feel like Madison, Madison was being super rational and was making very good points and was like, I do not think this is going to work for so many reasons. Here are all the reasons and they make sense.
Starting point is 00:32:42 The flies everywhere did not help. felt bad for them for that reason. Nothing's more annoying than that. Also want to mention that Peter's parents called him Bud an unbelievable amount of times. An uncomfortable amount of times. Bud. Yeah. Bud.
Starting point is 00:32:58 I saw one tweet that was like maybe they call him Bud because Peter's dad's name is also Peter. So they call Peter Bud. But if that is the case, they still say it way too many. Who says somebody's name that much? I'm not like saying Fran's name at the end of. every sentence that I say on this show. Yeah. It was a lot of buds.
Starting point is 00:33:19 One other thing, not to pile on Barbara, because I'm sure she's a sweet lady. But that one point, one thing I don't like about her is she uses Bachelor Lingo. She says Hannah B. She says Fantasy Suite. It's like that. That's just a little too close to it. We say things like that because we're just huge fans of the show. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:33:35 When she said Hannah B, I was stunned. She's like, remember what happened with you and Hannah B? It's like, wait, are you on the podcast now or what it was going on? That was the other thing. It was very weird. I would talk to Barb on the podcast. I would say if Barb wants to come on the show, you come on the show. Let's talk it out, girl.
Starting point is 00:33:51 But yeah, it was a roller coaster. So Madison leaves. Gone. Gone. Peter goes on a date with Hannah-Anne, and we need to sit there uncomfortably and watch his date happen, knowing Madison left. Peter is telling Hannah-Anne, my heart is being pulled in two different directions. We're confused because two different directions.
Starting point is 00:34:12 Madison's not even there. Who are you? Who are you pulling for it? Very cute kangaroos. Yeah. Very cute kangaroo. Just want to throw that in there. Really cute.
Starting point is 00:34:19 Oh, so cute. I know, like, all the drama revolves around the relationship, but seeing those little baby kangaroos was a nice moment. It's a nice, like, it's very dramatic. It's very stressful, but then a little kangaroo. Oh, it was very cute. Starting point is 00:37:25 So we talked about night one. We made it through the night. We were able to sleep. We survived. It is now Wednesday. And we have gotten through the Bachelor finale. Guys, how are you feeling? I honestly I thought that we were going to get the closure that we've all been searching for for the last few months with no spoilers and it's finally over and here's the ending and that we were going to get that that closure there's no closure zero because there's so many unanswered questions right before we get to the unanswered questions though let's take it from the top how are you feeling oh I mean I'm still a little stunned from last night I can't believe what we saw I didn't see it going to
Starting point is 00:38:08 going in that direction. We obviously didn't have answers. There were no spoilers, like Fran said. But I did not think we were going to get what we got last night, especially during the live show. That stuff, I'm still just stunned by. But overall, yeah, it felt anti-kymactic because we don't necessarily know where Madison and Pete stand.
Starting point is 00:38:27 So a little unfulfilled, but stunned. Yes. Okay. Let's take it from the top, though. Let's go step by step until we make it to the end. Then we'll talk about all the theories. We'll talk about cleric season. We'll talk about all that when we get to the end.
Starting point is 00:38:41 Starts off, of course, Peter and Hannah Ann. We're thinking Madison may come back. We don't know. That's what we all had assumed would happen because we thought there was no way in hell that Peter would be proposing to Hannah Ann. We thought she'd make it to the end. It would be a soft little breakup.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Oh, no, no, no. Because now Peter is fully prepared, he said, to propose to Hannah Ann. hand. He's like, I'm in love with her. I'm ready to propose. This is in the first five minutes. I'm absolutely floored. We gave this as the three of us, I think, gave this possibility like a zero percent chance. Like, we, I think we were all like there's no way that he proposes to Han. Right. We thought Madison was going to come back before a proposal happened. That was the original thought, which made a lot of sense because in our minds, there was no way that he was
Starting point is 00:39:33 going to put a ring on Hannah Ann's finger. None. I just couldn't even picture in my brain. So when it happened, I couldn't even believe that it was actually going down. And the way he talked about it at the beginning was so uncomfortable because it was really just like kind of voice over him doing stuff. But it was like, I'm in love with Han. Like she is the love of my life. Like it was so monotone and just no, didn't really sound like there was any excitement. Right. It was just so weird.
Starting point is 00:40:01 Like it felt so forced, so forced. And I could not believe that he. actually, that he actually went through at it. And I think we can mention Chris Harrison's absolute fake out. Yeah, I mean, it felt like Barb was holding a gun to Peter's head while we heard this voiceover where Peter was saying, I'm in love with Hannah Ann. We did not see that in Night 1.
Starting point is 00:40:27 We didn't get that feeling at all. He was in love with Madison. All of a sudden, flip a switch, we wake up, we watch the show. He's in love with Hannah Ann. It's because he's not in love with Hannah Ann. He's not even close, certainly not to the level. He is with Madison. So when he says these things, maybe it's a confirmation bias where we're like, we know he doesn't mean these things because they're not true.
Starting point is 00:40:45 Right. And we did find out that he waited to tell Hannah Ann about Madison until during the proposal. And it felt like we, it felt like we were wrong because he proposed to Han Ann, but we were right in the idea that Peter and Hannah Ann were not meant for each other. Like, because he, Peter just made the absolute bozo move of proposing to this woman who everybody so clearly could see, like, was not going to, it was not going to work out. And, and Hannah Ann, um, Hannah Ann went on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin. And she said that, yes, that was the first time that she had heard anything about Madison was in the middle of that proposal where he, like it was like a throwaway comment or like oh Madison she left two days ago
Starting point is 00:41:38 ha ha ha and the days after the proposal where they're still in Australia they have a couple days before they go home he did not tell her what happened with Madison like she had asked and he was like oh that's you know that's in the past I love you so much you're the love of my life
Starting point is 00:41:54 like he did not explain to Hannah Ann what happened with Madison didn't say we got into you know Madison left it was like there was no conversation. Zero. Yeah, I mean, this was totally, we talked about it.
Starting point is 00:42:10 Is it because Peter's not allowed? Is it because, you know, all these different reasons? He thought he could get away with it. He thought he could get away with it, which is the dumbest thing Peter has thought this entire season. All of these mistakes that Peter has made throughout the season, we thought, oh my God, oh my God, he's so dumb. He can't get dumber than this. Get
Starting point is 00:42:26 to this. He didn't tell Hannah-Anne, a very crucial part. It's like he has never been in a relationship before and thought, that, oh, yeah, my fiancee won't find out that a girl I was in love with broke up with me and I had to get over it. Are you kidding me, Peter? And I guess we shouldn't be surprised, right, because of what you said, he has made
Starting point is 00:42:45 mistake after mistake after mistake. So it would have almost been more surprising if he had done the right thing in this situation. Right. But he obviously did not. And yeah, it's like you're saying, like this was all on television also, by the way. They recorded everything. So she was going to find out eventually. And no matter how long it took for her to find out, she was not going to be happy.
Starting point is 00:43:04 about it. And that's why I think Peter had no intention of staying engaged to Hannah Ann. He thought, hey, I can maybe fake this engagement to Hannah Ann. A few months will go by. We'll tell everybody, you know, it didn't work out. Maybe we'll make it to the final rows. Or he thought that he could just like force it.
Starting point is 00:43:19 Yeah, no. He'd be like, oh, maybe like a month I will love him. Right, right. Like either that or let me just get through this. Let me let me see where this will go in a few months if it's not working out. We'll break up. People will be fine with that. He didn't realize that this show will air and people will see what you have done, Peter, and it won't be good, clearly, because it
Starting point is 00:43:39 wasn't good. Why not just not propose? Right. Well, that's what it goes down to. So, of course, Peter and Hannah-Anne, they don't last. A month goes by, and Peter and Hannah-Anne, they meet up together. They're having a conversation. They both start crying.
Starting point is 00:43:54 Peter said that he thought he would be able to get there with Hannah-Anne. He tried his best. Peter, you propose. That's not something you want to hear to some. It's like you, you propose to that woman. You don't say, I'm going to try my best when you're proposing. When you propose, you say, I want to be with you forever. This is it.
Starting point is 00:44:12 This is how I feel. You don't go into it being like, eh. Maybe it'll work. Maybe it'll work. Hannah Ann made it so clear she made that commitment. She was like, I'm willing to make that commitment. You clearly were not. I have this weird feeling that Peter is like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:44:27 I don't know what it is exactly. Like, I don't know if he thought he needed to be. engaged by the end of this. I feel like there is a pressure on the bachelor and the Bachelorette that like they have to be engaged at the end of their season. I don't know if maybe he thought like, hey, I'm going to try and I want to be engaged. Like I want to be engaged. But I also feel like he doesn't. I think he has this this absolute romanticized outlook on love where he thinks that like he's going to have some big fairy tale. situation and it's just not working out that way.
Starting point is 00:45:07 And I haven't wanted to slap Peter with the fuckboy label, but after this finale, it's, because it's, I think a lot of being a fuck with, with being a fuck boy is lying and thinking, you can get away with it. Right. And him not telling Hannah Ann and everything about Madison and just like trying to code it with like, I love you so much. I love you so much is just so dumb. Right.
Starting point is 00:45:31 I also think that one thing that Peter. kept saying throughout this whole thing was, I followed my heart throughout this entire season. I do not think Peter followed his heart at all. I think he followed Barb's heart. I think he followed Hannah Ann's heart. I think he followed his dick. I think most of all he followed that. Yes, most of all. I really do think that's what it is. It was moving around, telling him things. He didn't know what to do. He was confused. He did not follow his heart at all. Not even a little bit. Because if he did follow his heart per se. As soon as Madison was leaving, he would have been like, you know what? No, it's Madison. I need to be with Madison. I need to go tell Hannah Ann. Maybe part of him didn't want to be that guy who tells Hannah Ann,
Starting point is 00:46:15 hey, it's not going to work out. Madison's leaving. I need to go chase after her. But that's what Colton did. And listen, we weren't maybe a fan of that at the time what Colton did. And just he totally left Hannah G and left Tasha and he went after Cassie. But at least Colton fought for something. He really wanted Cassie. So he was like, I want Cassie. that is it. And the proposal was the mistake with actual real consequences. You go throughout the season and yeah, he's pissing the girls off. They're like, I can't believe he made this decision as opposed to that.
Starting point is 00:46:43 Proposing to someone and then a month later when you meet up being like, I just don't think it's going to work. Hannah Ann said it. She said, you took away my first engagement. That's true. We're talking about real life consequences that he is just, he'd make these decisions. And then it's like, oh, I guess we all got to live with them now. The proposal I thought is like, well, now you're really messing with someone's life. you're really messing with someone like Hannah-Anne.
Starting point is 00:47:03 And she was prepared to fight back. And he, it was so clear that Hannah-Anne had doubts. And I feel like Peter kind of knew that in the back of his head. So he was just like, I'm not going to talk about Madison at all because I don't want to scare Hannah-Anne away. And I can't have no one. Like, I think he was terrified of having no one and how that would make him look. So he just didn't. So, because this is the same thing with like Chris Harrison being,
Starting point is 00:47:31 I mean, also could not believe that Chris Harrison's like, we have news. We just found out. Like that moment that we have been guessing what that meant all season was Hannah Ann might not be coming. And then two seconds later it was just kidding. She's coming. Yeah. Like, oh, man.
Starting point is 00:47:50 Hannah Ann wasn't not coming. She was having butterflies in her room and was a little nervous to come down. But she was coming. Because she was thinking, what if he actually proposes to me? Right. She's thinking like, what if he proposes? and then it happens. And I'm sure that Hannah Ann maybe thought in her head
Starting point is 00:48:05 he's about to propose to Madison. He's not proposing to me. I'm going to go down there. He's not going to propose to me. He proposed to Hannah Ann. It was crazy, but right, we go back to when they're breaking up and like you said, Hannah Ann's like you took my first engagement away from me. All very true because the engagement did not have to happen. He did take away her first engagement because apparently he
Starting point is 00:48:29 betrayed her. Hannah Ann kept saying words like betrayal and you didn't you didn't follow in on the engagement we agreed on this I stood by your side it seems like something happened in this month or multiple things happened in this month that Peter did that just wasn't fiancee like and it was like he was single and we don't really know what happened there were some things that they left on said I wish they would have told us yeah we didn't get me any details I thought they were going to drop some fucking bomb on us about what Peter did in the meantime like he cheated on Anna Ann somebody.
Starting point is 00:49:03 Because he could have. Well, now what happens is they don't give us details and we have to guess. So we're just guessing that maybe he cheated on her. Maybe he reached out to Madison in a way that Hannah Ann didn't approve of. Our minds just run wild now because we don't know. Exactly. Yeah. It seems like it's always like a month, I guess, that they were during this time.
Starting point is 00:49:24 They had been together for a month and they hadn't really seen each other. But just from the way that conversation went, it just seemed like people. was obviously not as committed to the whole fiancé marriage thing as as Hannah-Anne was and when Hannah Ann talked to to Becca and Rachel on the podcast she said like it was a red flag when he she said it was like a month in when Peter asked about like getting closure with Hannah Brown that he was like thinking about this or whatever Hannah was like well like why would you need to do that like we're engaged and it seemed like he never actually reached out to hannah brown but he was thinking about it or brought it up which makes you think like what else was he thinking about who else
Starting point is 00:50:11 did he want to reach out to if he had these thoughts in his head but you know hanaan gave him like her full thoughts she laid in on him she was right the whole time and uh i mean it was like peter I didn't have any answer. Yeah. It was a weird like Peter was breaking up with her, but then she like broke up with him. Like it was weird. She took the ring off. She was like pointing it at him.
Starting point is 00:50:35 It was strange. I think she handled it in the best way possible. Totally. If she sat there and cried and made it seem like Peter was breaking up with her, which he was, it would have, you know, it would have made her look weak. Right. Although in that moment, anybody is weak. I think you also know like a big moment is about to happen because the cameras are here.
Starting point is 00:50:53 We're filming this. It seemed like they had had a conversation. conversation before where they had maybe thought they were going to break up. So, like, this was clearly in both of their minds, like this is probably how this is going to go
Starting point is 00:51:07 where else like, why else would they be filming? He just never takes control of the situation. Hanne's like, all right, I guess the breakup's happening, so I'm going to take control here. He's always just crying a little bit
Starting point is 00:51:16 and he's like, I don't think it's going to work. I don't know. I don't have the commitment. Well, right. Well, he's the kind of guy that wants to mess everything up so that the girl breaks up up with him.
Starting point is 00:51:25 You know, like he doesn't want to be the one to do it. Also, Peter does what he falls for, cries. He turns to the crying thing, like what Barb does, makes people feel bad for him. It's like, I don't feel bad for you anymore, Peter. I think that you were a total idiot. Like, maybe in the beginning it was like, okay, he's dealing with these crazy girls. Those crazy girls are a complete afterthought to me. They don't even matter in my mind anymore because Peter, he totally messed up this whole thing with Hannah Ann. He just did not need to propose to her. So they break it off. Hannah, Anna Ann, he's breaking it off with her.
Starting point is 00:51:58 Hannah Ann seems like she's breaking it off with him. It was a total, total switch. She's like, I don't want to see you. She gives him like a talk to the hand as she's in the car. So good. And then it leads to the live show because now this is where they end things. We do not know what happened in that little month.
Starting point is 00:52:14 Also, why are they not allowed to see each other? Aren't they engaged? Why are they going a month without seeing each other? Because they're not allowed to they're not allowed to be seen in public. So like it's really hard. They're like supposed to be secluded. And then there are like occasional plan times that they're allowed to meet up and they
Starting point is 00:52:31 have to like be in disguise. I remember it's a whole big process. Ari and Lauren, they had like selfie videos. They were, was that them or was that? No, there are.
Starting point is 00:52:40 There are, but there is like, there is planned times where you're allowed to see each other. Because like they have to make sure that nobody sees you. I knew it was going to be a lot of drama last night when like after everything happened, the breakup, we were like 31 minutes into the show. And it's like, okay.
Starting point is 00:52:59 We got a lot to look forward to. Right. So we go to the live show and Chris is going to bring out Hannah Ann to talk to Peter in front of everybody. She looks amazing, by the way. Absolutely stunning. She's already stunning. She got even more stunning walking onto this stage. Just absolutely beautiful.
Starting point is 00:53:18 She comes on the stage and she handled herself in the best way possible. she handled herself the best out of everybody the entire night. Nobody came out looking better than Hannah-Anne. She put Peter in his place. She said things like, if you want to be with a woman, become a man. She really stomped on Peter. And as she stomped on Peter, Barb was in the corner, clapping along, ruin her girl, Hannah-Anna on, her new daughter. She was rooting her on so hard.
Starting point is 00:53:49 She did not care that she was going against her son, Peter. We thought that Barb loved Peter so much and wants the best for Peter. I'm not really sure if that's the case considering she's rooting. She's rooting Hannah-Anna. I'm like, yes, destroy him. She definitely likes Hannah-Anne more than she likes Peter, I think. I think that became clear. Even it became clear when they did the meetups in Australia.
Starting point is 00:54:13 She obviously liked Hannah-Anne way more than Madison. I guess we didn't know to what extent she liked Hannah-Anne. It might be even more than her own son. It was crazy. It was really insane, like to have the barb cam, even when, even when Hannah-Anne and Peter were breaking up in the video and the footage we were seeing from L.A., like, Barb-Cam and she was, she, at one point started an entire audience clap. Like, she started clapping and the entire audience started clapping. It was, it was very bizarre, but Hannah-Anne, she did a great job. And I think what's crazy, too, is you forget, Han-an.
Starting point is 00:54:51 has been going on real life, break up this whole thing's happening, she still has not seen any of this footage of Peter and Madison, like nothing. So she's watching this at the same time as all of us, these past two nights, and she still handles, I think, handles herself so well
Starting point is 00:55:13 after seeing all of that go down. She said it actually almost helped her get more closure watching this all happen because she was like, well he was so clearly not ready to propose to me. Like that was just so dumb. Like now I understand that that was just so dumb of him to do. Yeah. And I think of some of the knocks that we gave her early in the seasons that she's super young.
Starting point is 00:55:33 She's immature. She's not ready for a proposal, which might be true. But she's 23, the youngest one on that stage. And she was by far the most mature. Right. Like not even close. I tweeted that she turned from a Disney princess to a queen in one episode. She just completely grew up.
Starting point is 00:55:48 Hannah Ann was less childish than Barb was. Barb was the most childish on the entire... In the entire show. Yeah. But Hannah Ann, she articulated things very well. Obviously, people were like she planned that speech. I mean, of course she did. You're getting in front of millions of people right now.
Starting point is 00:56:06 You got your heart stomped on. You were proposed and she's had a lot of time to think about it. In the same episode. You have a breakup not on TV and you still like practice what you're going to say. Right. In the shower, you're practicing everything. Yeah. Like, you still are playing.
Starting point is 00:56:18 You're still playing it out in your head like, okay, what am I going to say? So that totally makes sense. And now I just feel like some of the editing makes so much more sense now with the way things planned out. Like I feel like because he actually proposed to Hannah Ann in those first few weeks when all we saw were these beautiful, amazing moments of Madison, that it was like, okay, Madison's the runner up. She left. She got her heartbroken. She could be our next bachelorette.
Starting point is 00:56:54 Like we're going to make her look so good for these first few weeks and going on. And then shit hits the fan when Hannah Ann and Peter break up. The show's, you know. So I feel like all of that kind of makes more sense now of why, like, Madison got a phenomenal edit. Like there was never really a bad thing up until, obviously up until the end when things kind of took a turn. but even then like she still handles herself very well enough where she had those big like moments where you're like oh that girl could possibly possibly be the bachelorette but Madison like Chris Harrison goes to see Madison in Alabama and took it upon himself nobody even asked him
Starting point is 00:57:40 besides the producers and himself I'm not I'm not letting this season die like this I'm going to fly down there and I'm going to talk to him. to be in that meeting with the producers and Chris Harrison when they find out the Hannah-Anne and Peter broke up and they're like, all right, what if we send Chris? Our number one guy. What if we send Chris to Alabama and have him say that Peter had his doubts. He's still in love with Madison. Chris Harrison.
Starting point is 00:58:11 You know they had to plan all this shit out. It's just crazy. He put his life on the line because Barb could have. murdered him for doing that. Yes. Absolutely could have murdered him because... He still needs... He still needs to watch his back on the...
Starting point is 00:58:24 Barb is so mad at this show. Like, so mad at the show. Well, Chris Harrison goes and talks to Madison. Tells Madison, listen. Well, first of all, Madison's like, what happened that day? I left. And Chris Harrison's like, he got engaged. He's engaged.
Starting point is 00:58:38 Yeah. Oh, okay. And then he's like, but now he's single and I think he still loves you. Like, Chris Harrison is basically... saying things that Peter never really said kind of insinuated. He wasn't completely over Madison, but he never was like, I am totally in love. It's probably not untrue. He's like, he probably still likes her, right?
Starting point is 00:58:58 He knew what he was doing. And Madison, she's all in. She's crying, which, by the way, listen, I actually like Madison. I think that Madison held her own the entire season, sticking to her values, not backing down. But also, she backed down a little bit when she gave Peter the ultimatum and then she kind of just went right back to him last night. when Chris Harrison went to her. But I guess, you know, love is love. And if Peter and Madison are in love
Starting point is 00:59:21 and she really feels strongly about that, what is she supposed to do? Say no to Chris Harrison. And we've obviously seen this happen before, like in different ways, but we have seen the Bachelor proposed to a woman who he then decided was not the right woman and goes to the runner up essentially
Starting point is 00:59:41 and they're still together. Happen with Jason, happened with Ari. Those relationships, are still going on. Right. Now, I don't necessarily feel that way about Peter and Madison. Like, you know, we see Peter and Madison. Chris Harrison flies Madison back to L.A.
Starting point is 00:59:59 Peter's surprised by Madison. They talk, and then that was like the end of real footage. And then we have Madison and Peter in front of us on the live show. And also would like to say that the Chris Madison conversation, the whole, like, Barb could not even look at the screen. Like she could not even watch what was happening. She was rolling her eyes. She was...
Starting point is 01:00:24 It was unbelievable. Probably being like, I can't believe this is happening. I was like, does this woman know the camera is on her? Does she really not give a fuck? It's... She either knows and doesn't give a fuck or is just like oblivious to it. But I think she knew. She had to have known.
Starting point is 01:00:39 Yeah. I'm going to voice my opinion by rolling my eyes and doing all these crazy things. I couldn't believe how. fooled, we all were by Barb. Okay, when we first saw the Weber family, we were like, they are angels. We love the Weber family. We love Barb. No, Barb is crazy.
Starting point is 01:00:57 The Weber's are crazy. You know who also felt that way? Madison, when they went to the Renewing of the Vows date, and Madison and Barb were like best bucks. She was like, oh, I think you're so great. You make Pete so happy. They're touching each other on the arm. They're taking the picture of the four of them.
Starting point is 01:01:13 and then come to find out that she hates Madison. Well, I guess she made her wait three hours. Right. You're done. That's what, so Barb says this whole thing, right? Because of course Barb needs to talk at this point. Listen, I will say Barb is crazy. I don't agree with what Barb's doing.
Starting point is 01:01:28 But having Barb on this show, fantastic work. Absolutely a plus work by this team. Made for great TV. So shout out to Barb on that front. But Barb acted like a crazy person because she was like, oh Madison made us wait three hours, this, that, the other thing to meet us. You already met Madison when she was at your vow renewal right in the beginning of the season. She's in the family pictures that Barb is probably burning at this very moment.
Starting point is 01:01:58 Oh, those things have been lit on fire. So it was very confusing to see the way she acted. And I thought, okay, we're about to see Barb talk. She's going to be like, listen, what you saw of me, the way I acted, you know, I was really excited about Hannah. Anna Ann. I'm sorry. It came across the wrong way to Madison. Because it was live. She knows the reaction from night one. She could have been like, you know what? I understand that it came across this way. I'm rooting for my son. I'll get to know you, Madison. We'll get to know each other. Maybe you guys will last. It is what it is. I just really liked Hannah Ann. Barb didn't say any of that. Barb said
Starting point is 01:02:32 Peter has to fail to succeed. His friends think it's doomed. She doubled down big time. She's turning to Mr. Weber saying, say something bad. me in Spanish thinking nobody will understand what she's saying. She's got a microphone on her. I don't know what she was thinking. A lot of people speak Spanish too. A lot of people speak Spanish and also like you have a microphone. Even if you whisper, it can probably still pick up what, pick up what you're saying.
Starting point is 01:02:59 It was so uncomfortable because like, Ria, like you said, like you thought maybe she would be like, yeah, Han Ann. But as soon as she was like, Hannah Ann is beautiful and kind and she was so nice to me. It was just like, it's all about her. It's all about Barb. Like, it was like, well, Han-Anne was really nice to me. And Maddie, she made me wait to see her. But, like, Peter and Madison were going through a really difficult time. And they were really arguing.
Starting point is 01:03:23 And Madison really didn't know what she wanted to do. And I feel like she was pretty valid to, like, be hesitant about spending time with Peter's parents after they just had that conversation. Also knowing she's about to walk in and have to talk about her sex life to these people. Like, yeah, you're going to be uncomfortable. Maybe she didn't put her best foot forward because she's like, well, shit, now I got to go talk about how I don't want to have sex with Peter's mom. Like that is so uncomfortable. And Peter's mom gave her no, like Barb just gave her absolutely no, like no room to mess up, no nothing. By the first mistake, she was totally out on her.
Starting point is 01:04:02 And Madison, even on the live show, handled it so well. Like Chris was like Madison. Would you like to say something? She's like, look, I'm not really going to like say anything bad about this lady. That's like, who is this lady? What's happening? And Barb acted like, you know, if you're thinking about real life, right? Think about the amount of times parents meet some one of their kids' significant other
Starting point is 01:04:26 and isn't totally crazy about them the first time or second time they're with them. Then they get to know them. You know, they really become a part of the family. Things are great. They end up married. Everybody loves each other. Barb didn't even give Madison. that room. She didn't allow any room for them to grow in a relationship. And first of all,
Starting point is 01:04:45 this isn't even about Barb. This shouldn't be about whether or not Barb and Madison are going to get along. This is about whether Peter really loves Madison. It seems like he really does. But I don't know how Madison and Peter can go on now after the performance Barb let on. And we shouldn't let Barb control our relationships. This is why I want Peter and Madison to last. You tweeted this. I did. And what I've been seeing a lot of is, well, Barb's ultimately going to be right.
Starting point is 01:05:15 She's going to be right because Peter and Madison don't really like each other. This relationship's not going to last. Sure, maybe that's true and that's fine. But she went about it the wrong way. It's everything that you guys are saying. She gave them no room to even give it a chance. She was just like, nope, I like to Ann Ann Moore. I don't like Madison at all.
Starting point is 01:05:31 She made me wait a bunch. so I'm not even going to let it, I'm not even going to give it a chance from now. If the relationship doesn't work out, which there's a good chance that it won't, people are going to be like Barb was right, Barb was right. She technically was right, but she went about it the completely wrong way. And what sucks is, yes, I personally do agree with what Barb was saying that, you know, their values and their lifestyles are not going to mesh well. Now, they could prove everyone wrong and their love is so strong that they're going to make it
Starting point is 01:06:02 work. But Barb saying this all-on-live TV does not give them the opportunity to try. Like, she took that away from them completely. Like, if she had waited until the show was over and she can voice her opinions to Peter in private, which I'm sure she does plenty of times. But it's like there's no, there was no, for her to do it live was just so inconsiderate to her own son who is trying to make this relationship. work and now everyone in America is like oh well you know now Peter's mom is not in on this so
Starting point is 01:06:39 this might not work and just like that's not the energy that they need it was just so weird I just don't understand like how hard is it to say you know I have my doubts but we'll see what happens and I just want my son to be happy. Bada bada b'aboo. Boom. It was just a wildly inappropriate way to go about doing it. Can you imagine what she says behind the scenes when there's no cameras? If she's willing to go at Madison like this, go at her son like this, when there's millions of people watching. I can't even imagine what she's like behind those doors. Jason's mom tweeted it so well. Jason Tartick's mom responded to one of Jason's tweets and said, you had one job, Barb, support your son and welcome Madison to the family. Tell her that you
Starting point is 01:07:18 look forward to getting to know her. How hard is that? Oh yes. Smile a little. You have to fail to succeed is one of the most ruthless comments, not even on TV, just in life. in general. If you tell someone, you look at them and be like, you have to fail to succeed, that's not a person who has your best interest at heart. Right. Not even close. It just, it didn't have to be said. She didn't have to say half the thing she said because like I tweeted, this is not the barb alert. I'll say it again. I was so proud of that when I wrote that. That was a good one. It just flew off my fingers. I clicked scent. I was smiling from ear to ear. Some of them just felt great. They just felt great last night. And I, we put up a shirt on sale. Don't be a barb.
Starting point is 01:07:56 Go buy it. And somebody, some people were commenting like, this is. is bullying, you're bullying Barb. Listen, this is not bullying Barb. We're saying, just don't act outright crazy like Barb did because Barb was straight up mean. Barb was mean. She was mean. You can't watch what happened last night on the live show with her in the box, rolling her eyes, commenting to her husband, making those comments to Madison.
Starting point is 01:08:20 You can't look at that objectively and be like, oh, that's normal behavior. That's normal behavior for a person because it's not. Do we think that Barb's husband has had his... his an own thought in 30 years. Like that, like, I could not believe that she was like, you better back, like, you better back me up. Like, she, it was unbelievable. And now, like, it's so weird because everybody's on social media, right?
Starting point is 01:08:42 So, like, Pete's brother is on social media commenting on Instagram, being like, it's reality TV. Madison got a great edit, got a great edit. Like, why do you think the only people that have met her in real life don't like her, you know, like being like they've met her in real life. So they see how she actually is. they don't like her and how America sees her is how they wanted how they wanted us all to see her and why are they convinced Madison is the devil when Madison is the most pure person we've
Starting point is 01:09:12 had on this show what is going on it's just it's one thing they fucking love sex they do they love they are willing to take down the family name in because they love sex in the name of sex they are right and it's one thing to it's one thing to not like your brothers girlfriend or your son's girlfriend or whatever. But they just have taken it to the next level where they're like ripping this girl apart publicly, which is very, very weird. It's all very weird. Like the Weber family weird shit's going on.
Starting point is 01:09:48 And it definitely starts with Barb. She is just. Yeah. It was really, it was really uncomfortable to watch. Her husband is a hostage. I mean, there's no way. Mr. Weber is so whipped. Oh, my.
Starting point is 01:10:00 gosh, we didn't need to see her whispering him to him in Spanish being like, hey, back me up here. I'm kind of, I'm in too deep. Yeah. He didn't have a word to say before that, not a facial expression. He's just along for the ride and he's just, I like, he's a hostage. Yeah. Listen, guys, don't hold me to the things I say during the Bachelor recap because anything flies. Peter is a pussy because Mr. Weber is a pussy.
Starting point is 01:10:22 Oh. And that's just, that's just facts. Barb runs the fam. Oh, she is the boss. Yeah. Undoubtedly. 100%. 100% but it's like
Starting point is 01:10:31 Like I said, don't hold it against me what I say during the Bachelor Recaps. Things just fly out. I am And I feel I feel very bad for Madison And the whole thing was also very uncomfortable like Madison and Peter Just as a couple
Starting point is 01:10:47 were pretty uncomfortable like they looked uncomfortable on stage They didn't seem like they didn't really know what to say Peter didn't really know how to explain their relationship We got that whole like Ah one day at a time bullshit So they're already clearly struggling.
Starting point is 01:11:02 And on top of that, Barb just absolutely went in and got all of her thoughts out. Let's be honest. Pete Madison, probably not going to work. Yeah, let's talk about the thing. Probably not. But to have your mom on live TV say, look, Chris, sometimes you have to fail to succeed was unbelievable. Right. And then the whole freaking place.
Starting point is 01:11:28 booter. Like the whole place was like, as they should have. I wanted to boo her out of the building. They should have booed out of here. They should have booed louder. Get out of here. Because that was unreal. You needed to pull Barb's luggage. I would have loved to do that. I wish I had this is, I wish I had been part of that live audience because I would have not stopped booing until Barb left the building. I just would have stood up and booed. They would say, sir, please sit down. Sir, please sit down. No, I would have booed for an hour straight if I had to. Also, one thing that I want to mention is that throughout this season, we have talked about how we weren't sure if Madison and Pete would be compatible because. of their values and whatnot. But if they like each other, they like each other. And listen, I would have still felt that way if Barb didn't step into the picture. Barb now makes me want Peter and Madison to last forever.
Starting point is 01:12:13 You know what's pretty strong? Spite. And I hope that their relationship lives and thrives for decades off of purely spite. I know that they're not compatible. Pete loves sex. The entire Weber family. Boy, do they love sex.
Starting point is 01:12:26 Madison, religious, virgin. Not that into sex. But I hope that at a spite, they come together. Because I don't think Pete and Barb are going to have much a relationship after this. I'd be stunned. I just hope that Madison and Pete, they come together and they're like, we hate Barb so much that we're going to make this thing work. Yeah, I can't believe that this show has actually torn Peter's family apart.
Starting point is 01:12:48 Like, not only has this kind of ruined relationships for Peter, this has also ruined his family. Like, his family is all torn up about this. Let's talk about the theories now. But first, I want to talk to you guys quickly about something that bothers me on a daily basis. It's spam phone calls. I've talked to you guys about this before. Spam phone calls drive me absolutely nuts. I'll get a call about my car insurance. I'm like, listen, lady, I don't have a car. So I know you're lying to me. I'll get calls about my kids in school. I don't have kids. They're definitely not in school if I had them. Well, they would go to school. But guys, I don't have them. Anyways, I hate spam phone calls. You get the point. But now we have something to stop that. We've teamed up with RoboKiller to give you guys a solution to the growing spam call problem. RoboKiller is the app that stops spam phone calls for good.
Starting point is 01:13:42 They have over 1.2 million spam phone numbers on their block list, adding more spammers by the minute, including all of my spammers. They're getting stopped by RoboKiller. In the month of February alone, RoboKiller blocked over 17 million spam calls. Like I said, I recently downloaded RoboKiller on my phone and I'm loving it. I don't have to deal with these spam phone calls that just are a nuisance to my daily life any longer. I am living spam free and getting sweet revenge in the process. They also have these pre-recorded answer bots that mess with the spam callers for you, which are absolutely a hilarious way to just shut these spam collars down.
Starting point is 01:14:23 Head to Robociller.com slash chicks on your mobile device now to download. the app. New users get Robociller free for seven days. Now get out there and stop those spammers again. That's robociller.com slash chicks. Like we said, we don't know if Peter and Madison will last, but now there are these crazy theories because Kelly was in the audience. And here we go again. She wasn't at the woman tell all. She wrote, I don't know why emoji with the hand lifting. Now she was in the audience for the finale. And she replies, I don't know why. Once again, with the emoji, I don't know. Now people are saying that Peter and Kelly are actually together and dating.
Starting point is 01:15:04 That's why she was there. But Madison and Peter had to put on this show because of their contracts. And that's why Barb was so upset. And now Barb is commenting on all of Kelly's pictures, not all of Kelly's pictures, but she's commenting things like, you're my favorite, so beautiful and classy. We need to get lunch. So what is going on? And it leads back to Peter's family following Kelly on.
Starting point is 01:15:27 on Instagram. This theory is crazy. I don't know why they wouldn't just go with that because that would have been the crazier finale, even though this was so crazy. If Kelly all of a sudden came back in a picture. She walks out of the crowd. She walks out of the crowd. Now all of a sudden Kelly and Peter would be together.
Starting point is 01:15:42 That'd be insane. It's also important to know that Chris Harrison looked at Kelly last night and was like, it's important that you're here. What does that mean? What does that mean? That could be the theory or that could be, hey, we didn't invite you to the woman to all. We feel bad about that.
Starting point is 01:15:55 You're important, Kelly. It's important. you're here. But I don't want to believe that. I want to believe that's crazy theory. And you know, I also think that, um, I think Peter's family is, is nuts. So like, well, this makes, this makes a lot of sense now on why Peter's whole family follows Kelly. Like, they probably all love Kelly and they clearly have no problem publicly saying that Peter picked the wrong person. Like they have, you know what I'm saying? Like, they have, you know what I'm saying? Like, they have no problem.
Starting point is 01:16:27 throwing Peter under the bus and being like Peter's making bad decisions. We love Han and Ann. So I don't think it's surprising at all that they follow Kelly because they're all probably like, well, we love Kelly. Why don't you pick Kelly, Peter? You know, like, it's, I don't know if it runs like really deep enough where something's going on with Kelly. Who knows?
Starting point is 01:16:44 But like their, you know, screenshots are going around of, of conversations, of people claiming that they know that Kelly and Peter are together. like the Instagram account, not skinny but not fat, posted screenshots of a text conversation of someone saying, I think there's a reason Kelly was there and then they continued to say
Starting point is 01:17:07 that she was chatting with a girl who lives in her building and that person is best friend's cousin is Kelly. And she told me that Kelly was there because her and Peter are actually together now and Maddie is talking to some guy in seminary school and tonight was only for show and that's why his parents were so upset. And there was another screenshot of what
Starting point is 01:17:25 was like a Facebook group of someone saying, okay, I'm not sure how true this is, but my brother just called me with some piping hot tea. Peter's brother is currently wasted with some friends and said that Peter slept with Kelly in between the Hannah and breakup and getting back together with Madison, which is the reason Kelly was not invited to women until all and is in the audience for after the final rows. So like those are two slightly conflicting things. Like, you know, maybe he did sleep with, like maybe he slept with Kelly in between and then word got out and they were like, let's have Kelly here just in case shit hits the fan of, you know? And is that why we didn't get Hannah Ann mentioning any names during their breakup?
Starting point is 01:18:04 Like she mentioned names on stage, but when they were breaking up, she just kept saying, you betrayed me. But there was no mention of any names or why he was betraying her. Wouldn't they use that, though? Like wouldn't they use it? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Wouldn't that be the crazier finale ending if he was with Kelly? It really felt like there was a gap and like a pretty glaring gap when she kept saying the words betrayal and we're breaking up and I can't believe you did this you didn't follow through on
Starting point is 01:18:29 your engagement your commitment to me but what is that right if he was really with Kelly I mean if he was really with Kelly I don't know why the show the live show wouldn't have ended with um okay Madison and Peter have this conversation but that goes nowhere because surprise he's really dating Kelly come on down I would have jumped out of my window would have lost their shit I live on the 11th floor of my building. I would have jumped out of my window just because I would have been so surprised. I don't think they're giving up that opportunity to do that live. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:19:01 They want me jumping out of that window. Exactly. That's why even though this theory and if people are saying that, that's crazy. But they would have shown that. That's the craziest. It would have been so good. People are just really, really hoping that Peter and Kelly end up together. I also think so many people are.
Starting point is 01:19:20 They had a great vibe. been, even her exit from the show, it wasn't like, it wasn't, I don't know, the connection wasn't not there. It's just that she was kind of like, I don't really like being on the show anymore, but they clearly met before the show, had a connection there. And I think it could definitely still happen. Isn't it crazy that while we were watching this show, Hannah and Peter were engaged? Like, there was a moment in time.
Starting point is 01:19:45 Yeah, there was a time when Peter were running around engaged and we didn't know it. Now, think about this. When we interviewed Peter on February 4th, it was like a couple days after he and Han Han broke up. Oh shit. Yeah, because they said that they broke up like right before the Super Bowl and Super Bowl was February 2nd that he was in Miami. People were saying he was acting single.
Starting point is 01:20:06 That's because he was. Sure was. And then he came on the show and he was single at that time. The look when we, I think at one point we asked him like, you know, what's your, you know you can't tell us, but what's your status now? And I think he looked at the people that was with him and he was just like, I don't even ought to answer this because everything is in such flux. And that makes sense that he had just broken off the engagement with Hannah-Anne.
Starting point is 01:20:25 Because that's because he didn't know what was going on. Like, what's your relationship status? He's like, I have no idea. He has no idea. We were right when we said, we think Peter's single, though. We kept saying we think Peter's single. And it seems like we were right about that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:37 Considering he was because he had broken up with Hannah Ann, who knew that was going to happen. We got single-man vibes from him in that moment. And we were right. Yeah. We were right. We just didn't think the engagement. He was single because he broke off an engagement with Hannah-Anne?
Starting point is 01:20:49 Yeah, we just thought it didn't work out with Madison and turns out. No, definitely not. The whole time, we just thought that he was going to be going after Madison and she was going to run away and that's why he was single. At no point did I think he engaged to Hannah-Anne. No, really, neither did I. And then because of the Barb drama and everything that happened, there was really not a lot of time left on the live show because Barb really took up a lot of it.
Starting point is 01:21:14 So Claire Crawley, our new Bowserite got about three minutes. There was not a lot of time for her, but... Chris Harrison did say something funny when she came out. He was like, you sure he want to do this? Oh, yeah. Watched this train wreck of the season. Like, now you get to do it too. She was sitting in there.
Starting point is 01:21:32 Bubbly and happy acting like she didn't think this was going to turn into a complete failure. Yeah, it's insane. And I don't like, Barb talking to her after the show, like was making me laugh. It seemed like Barb was flooding her with compliments because you could see Claire going like, oh, thank you so much. This is another thing. I think Barb has watched way too much of this show in her life.
Starting point is 01:21:53 Oh, yeah. Like, I think she is way too much of a fan and like this is now she's on the show. Like, I think this is, I think that has something to do with it too. I guess Barb and I have that in common. Yeah. I just wanted to be on the show so bad. But it's like I said during the after the first night. She said Hannah B.
Starting point is 01:22:08 She's saying, she said DMs last night, which was weird. Even her, even her son or other son saying, oh, she got a great edit. Something's going on with this family. I bet they're just huge Bachelor fans, and now they've just been thrust into that world, and they're just not handling it that well at all. Yeah, and unfortunately the ending we have, or not unfortunately, but we do have Peter and Madison, I think, trying at least. I don't know how long that lasted backstage, probably five minutes.
Starting point is 01:22:36 Right. They will not be spending Easter Sunday together. There's no way. It's too soon, and Barb might poison Madison, if that was the case. Also, not to like keep digging into it, but if they were to potentially keep fighting and try to make this work, combine family gatherings are just not going to happen because Madison's parents, their beloved child that they adore so much. Like, we saw that, are not ever going to talk to a woman that shit on their daughter live on TV like that. Like they could never do group family events ever. Oh yeah, my parents would not be pleased with the way Barb acted.
Starting point is 01:23:20 Yeah, I think a fight would break it. Right. Like there's no way. So I think it's all pretty much doomed anyway. I was picturing Barb coming on stage. Tackling Chris Harrison. Hannah Ann comes out. She rips a heel off her foot.
Starting point is 01:23:32 She's going after them. The whole thing I wanted it to happen. So I tweeted before Madison came out on stage being like, I need Barb to at least back it up. Like back up the eye rolls. back up the chit-hang with the husband every time Madison's on screen. I wanted them to actually physically fight. I think that would have been hilarious. But we got about as close as you could possibly get.
Starting point is 01:23:51 If Madison reciprocates the energy that Barb was giving her, you get a fight. Madison is smart enough and mature enough to be like, I'm not going to say anything bad about you. I'm just kind of doing my own thing. And if you don't like that, then that's your problem. But if Madison had been like, you know what, fuck you? Oh, my God. And then Kelly comes out, everybody's brawl in there. It would have been a lot of fun.
Starting point is 01:24:10 The thing is Madison handled this in the best. She really did that she could. Although we wish we could have seen a brawl like that. It would have been amazing to see Madison be like, fuck you, Barb, you know what? Fuck you. She's taking her heels off and just running towards her. Whipping her hair and Barbes.
Starting point is 01:24:26 And also Peter like could have stood up for Madison. Yeah. Peter was such a little. Peter got absolutely destroyed by his mom. Like his mom's embarrassing him on live TV. And he had no like, and I understand it's his mother. And he loves his mom, but like he could have said, mom, please. Like, enough is enough.
Starting point is 01:24:50 You know, like, and there's a, there's a way you can do that nicely. And he just absolutely floundered. Both Webermen had a pretty poor showing last night. Yeah, it was, it was tough. And we saw, we got, um, initial cast members for Claire season today. I have thoughts. And there are, uh, a, lot of young guys.
Starting point is 01:25:15 Like now they still could add some, they still could cut some. But as of right now, there are 20 guys between the ages of 25 and 28 and eight guys that are 30 and above. I think you got to flip that ratio. You got to find way more guys at their 30s. Aren't there great guys in their 30s that can go on this show? I'm so confused. I mean, maybe those guys are just smart enough to not go on this show.
Starting point is 01:25:40 And there's a huge gap between 20-year-olds and 4.000. 40 year olds? Who knows? I think that might be part of it. I think you do run the risk where it's very easy to get people in there early to mid-20 because they're like, yeah, that'll be a fun experience. I'll go on TV and that'll be exciting. As you go into your 30s, early, mid-late, you're kind of like, I'm not doing that. I'm just going to try and date in the real world. And if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. But like, I don't know if you're going to get a ton of 35, 36-year-old guys who are like, sure. Who are also probably not as interested in the potential fame that could come with being on the show. So it might be a little tougher.
Starting point is 01:26:12 maybe have established careers. They're not trying to jeopardize that. They're not trying to be an Instagram model. And then they get to their 40s and they're like, shit, I'm going through a midlife crisis. Maybe I do want to go on the bachelor. Because it seems like that's where the gap is. There's like 42 year olds and then there's 25 year olds.
Starting point is 01:26:28 I have one very, very strong stance about the contestants. Just one. Maybe not this one's just the strongest one. The Tyler C guy, he's got to go. He has to be removed. There is a man in time named Tyler C. not allowed to be another Tyler C on the Bachelorette. They need to retire, hang his jersey up.
Starting point is 01:26:48 No Tyler C's allowed on the Bachelorette. Why are you going to ruin this good name? I think you've got to do that with a few people. Like Hannah B, hang up in the rafters. Tyler C is most certainly one of them. Maybe Victoria F. I don't know if you can have another Victoria F anymore. These people who are almost iconic in this world that we recognize them immediately.
Starting point is 01:27:06 Tyler C. I can't picture who that is. You can't have another one. We can't have Tyler C from Morgantown. Go on Buck Wild. It is funny that he's from Morgantown, West Virginia. It made me miss the show Buck Wild a lot. Honestly, that's why I said that.
Starting point is 01:27:18 But I saw the name Tyler C. I was like, they're going to have no offense of this guy. But, I mean, he's no Tyler C. So. Who is? Nobody. No one is. Especially this Tyler C is not the Tyler C.
Starting point is 01:27:30 So let's have him change his name. The actual Tyler C is like the hottest person to ever appear on the show. And now you got the other Tyler C who's like, hey, you don't want to be. You don't want to be the second Tyler. What is that Tyler C doing to his life? You don't want to be that. That's like being named Michael Jordan, you're like, but I'm not the one. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:27:47 I'm not the guy. You just, you just suck. Exactly. We don't even know what this guy. I mean, sorry, but. And speaking of Tyler C, Matt James, his best friend is going to be on this season. He's 28th. We'll see what happens.
Starting point is 01:28:05 Listen, I think that he's a great guy. We've hung out with him before. nice, funny guy. I think he's going to be great on the show. I think he's an early contender for The Bachelor. Yeah. I think he could be a great pick for The Bachelor because unfortunately, I am rooting for him, of course,
Starting point is 01:28:22 but I don't really know if him and Claire are going to work out, but once again. Once again, see, it gets dangerous when we actually, like, have met and know the people that are going on the show to be like, hey, they're not going to work out. But honestly, like, Claire is going, you know, she's going to be 39,
Starting point is 01:28:37 and Matt is 28. And I think that they're just living different lives. Who knows, though? We haven't watched the show yet. Reallyistically, and anything can happen. But 26, 27, 28 under, like, that's a pretty big gap. Oh, yeah. And I know we'll get more into when the season's coming up.
Starting point is 01:28:55 It definitely is, but they also, they're always going to cast those age range, especially for the show because thinking about how young all the girls are from Peter's season, those are the ones that are all going to be on Paradise. So, like, they're going to need Paradise guys from this group. they're going to have to have a group of young guys. True. But they need, they definitely need to have some older ones. Just because I also think like this process is so long.
Starting point is 01:29:21 So so many of these younger guys, I just feel like it's going to feel forced. Like so many of these younger guys probably went on thinking Hannah Ann, Madison, Kelsey, Kelly. Like, you know, they had that probably in their minds. And then it's Claire. And like, they're like, oh, well, they're still going to go on the show, obviously. Right. But it's like not, I feel like not what they expected maybe.
Starting point is 01:29:49 And then I feel like things start to feel fake. Like then it's like, okay, this 25 year old obviously came on because he thought it was going to be Madison as a bacheloret. And now it's clearly a force that he's like so interested in Claire. You know? Yeah. Like I just feel like. I do wonder how much recasting are doing. I just feel like the really young ones, it's just going to feel.
Starting point is 01:30:09 very forced. Yeah, I think you're right. And also, Claire might just be like, see ya. Like, she could just get out, be like, how old are you? 23? Okay, I pack your bag. Yeah, first night. Hey, if you're under 24, raise your hand. Like, get out of here. Yeah. That'd be great. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I don't know if she can actually do that considering the casting, but it would be good if she did it. Yeah. And I guess we'll see what happens. I think, you know, we're rooting for love this time around. We got drama this season. I'm, I'm rooting for maybe a state. I'm, relationship to come out of this because if it doesn't happen this season, I don't know if it's happening at all.
Starting point is 01:30:45 We're on quite a run of like things just not really working out. Bachelor in Paradise, hey, great, great work people. It seems to be working out. Because that's more natural. That's more just like, it's more of like, hey, you got to, you got to pick here. You got to pick and choose. There's multiple options. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:59 Not just you are forced to like this person. And they're all, they're all people who kind of want the same in life. Like they're all working that influence your life. You know? Kind of all in the same place, so it works. Right. I don't think you're going on paradise unless you're ready to give up your normal everyday life, nine to five job.
Starting point is 01:31:19 Oh, yeah. Yeah, you have to be ready for that. All right. I think that wraps it up. Do we have any? I could shed a tear right now. I don't want it to end, guys. Closing thoughts.
Starting point is 01:31:29 It's just quite a fall from grace for Barb is all I will say. And Peter. And Peter. And, yeah, but like Barb. Pretty God awful season from Peter. I'm not going to lie. He was a really. bad bachelor. Like Peter, nice guy, bad bachelor. See, we've been saying that the whole time.
Starting point is 01:31:44 Like, he is a nice guy. He seems nice. We met him. Seemed really nice. But, like, bad with relationships and maybe bad to women. That's the thing. Like, after last night, it's kind of like, what can we actually say about? Is he a nice guy? Right. Up until that point, he's just kind of fumbling through. It's kind of like, well, it's just like, all right. Everybody has that friend that is a nice friend. You love hanging out with them. You have a great time. But they are bad daters and they are not great in relationships and they make mistakes, but you're still friends with them anyway because, you know, he's a good friend, but. Victoria F.
Starting point is 01:32:20 But they, but wait, but wait, no, she sucks with her friends. But they fucking suck as like a boyfriend. Right. But Barb, we watched her previews all season long, her crying. It became like Colton jumping the fence, sort of a thing we were looking forward to. And now I look back on all those and I'm like, I'm just mad. Yeah, we were ready to be screaming, bring her home with Barb. and we were totally against bar.
Starting point is 01:32:41 Right. We would be making bring her home shirts, not don't be a barb shirts. Yeah, exactly. We were rooting for Barb to become like this funny internet meme that we could all kind of enjoy. And now it has completely gone the other way. Where every time I've seen her today,
Starting point is 01:32:55 her picture, everybody's been blogging it, tweeting about it, I just feel like, I feel uncomfortable. Yeah. Yeah. Because she's scary. Go buy your don't be a barb shirts. And while you're at it,
Starting point is 01:33:05 also buy your luggage guy Trent shirts because you know what this season gave up. besides disaster and pain and tears. It was Trent. Yes, Rand, you got to my point. I was about to say it was Trent. You guys are very kind.
Starting point is 01:33:19 It's been quite a whirlwind. I still can't really believe that it happened, but it was awesome. It's fun to be the luggage guy. I hope to continue to do it in the future. So look out for that. But people have been very nice and very supportive of the luggage guy thing,
Starting point is 01:33:31 which is cool. Yeah, and we are very happy for you, Trent. We hope you see you in the future doing it. Although I don't want people to keep that on their brain. And I like when you pop up as a surprise. Yeah. Who knows what may or may not happen. But you gave us great laughter during this season, Trent.
Starting point is 01:33:47 You really did. It was a huge highlight of the season by far. I think everyone, including Chris Harrison, would agree with that. I'm in that last part. That's the part that warms my heart. That Chris Harrison, that I met him, that he knows that I exist. That's really the ultimate path. And just to break everybody's hearts a little bit more before we end this,
Starting point is 01:34:05 sorry to end it on a sad note. We were supposed to interview Chris Harrison. but we are not because everybody's canceling their reviews. Everybody can't because of the coronavirus. It's going to happen though. It'll happen. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:34:17 it's going to happen eventually. We're working on moving the date because he will come on this show. It was supposed to be on Monday though. And it's just not happening now because of the coronavirus. So fuck you, Corona. Yeah, not to twist the night. But what perfect timing that would have been with all this shit happens. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:32 That's why we were so excited. I know. Although we're excited at any time to have Chris Harrison. He will come on the show. Trent, you'll be back to talk about, I'm sure, the many other shows that are coming out. Are you guys watching Listen to your heart? Yeah, we talked about it.
Starting point is 01:34:45 We'll talk about it with you. Okay, because I think I am going to watch it. Yeah, there's no way I'm not going to watch it. Exactly. Like, imagine that happening and we're just like, yeah. Yeah, oh, we don't care about that? No, of course we care. I care very much about that.
Starting point is 01:34:59 Yeah, us too. All right, well, thank you to everybody for following along with us this season. Any new listeners, welcome.
