Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners.
You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube.
Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music.
This is...
What's up, everyone?
It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne.
We are giving you that Friday energy on a Monday.
We hope you had a fantastic weekend.
Whatever you were up to, hope the weather treated you nicely.
Maybe you're on the beach.
Maybe you were drinking, having a good time.
But it's Monday now.
So we're going to help you get through the day.
We are happy Monday, everybody.
We have a great show.
Jason Tartick and Sutton Foster on the show.
First solo interview.
Ria couldn't make this one.
Not going to make it.
Endometriosis strikes again.
Yes.
And I interviewed Sutton Foster all by myself, which is fine because I love younger and
you've never seen it.
I've never seen it.
So it really was just fine.
It actually worked out.
But yeah, Fran came through.
That endometriosis I spoke about happened again.
So Fran came through, held it on her own.
So enjoyed that.
Fran, I'm sure you did.
Although I didn't listen to it.
I asked Noah, he said it was good.
But sometimes it's like asking your parent.
Yeah, I felt like a proud parent.
It's like, oh, she did it by herself.
Yeah, no, I was proud too.
I knew you could do it.
I honestly wasn't too worried.
I was like, Fran could obviously do the interview alone.
Thanks.
But thanks, Fran.
Of course.
We also had Jason on the show who's absolutely fantastic.
Every time him and Caitlin are the best.
We talk a lot about their relationship.
And taking credit.
for their relationship. Yeah, and we took a lot of credit for their relationship. Yeah, we did. But I think
he agreed with us. Yeah, I think so too. I think we may get invited to the wedding, hopefully.
Obviously, the new Jonas Brothers album is out, and I hope you haven't been listening to anything else
but that. I went through like a really bad, sad day on Thursday. Let's talk about it. It started
in the morning. We were going to Sirius for the Sutton Foster interview. We're in the car. Noah
reads a text out loud to me from one of the.
tech guys, from serious.
Pause.
Noah, read the text.
Let me check my phone really quickly.
We should have this prepared.
Okay.
I'll cut this out.
Thanks.
Noah cut this out.
Please.
Okay.
Noah, please read your text.
From tech, from Dan.
From Dan from Sirius.
Hey, let me know when you're here.
Just a heads up.
The Jonas brothers are here.
Dot, dot, dot.
And I go, wow.
I tell Fran.
So Noah tells me in the car
I freak out
Our intern
Natalie's sitting next to me
It was also a tough Uber situation
Because the Uber driver had a car seat
In the back seat
So I was sitting in the middle seat
I'm like freaking out
My heart was racing
Only what was the time stamp?
I was just about to read the timestamps
His text was at 10
I responded 1001
He responded 1001
And they just left LOL
So like
It was like one minute.
They were gone.
So like my emotions, like I had 60 seconds to freak out only to be completely crushed when Noah said, oh, they already left.
I was like, oh my God.
And I walk into Sirius.
All the people at Sirius know I love the journalist brothers.
They all know.
Nobody had my back on this one.
Everybody there was like, oh, we should have told you to come earlier or they didn't know I was coming in.
I'm like, yeah, I'm on the schedule.
It's messed up.
I knew I was coming in.
It's messed up.
Nobody wanted to tell me.
I don't want to throw Kelly.
Martin on the bus, but Kelly Martin knew.
Yes, she did. Our in-house
booker, a barstall talent booker.
She also knew that the Jones brothers were going to be
on Hits 1 Thursday morning.
She didn't tell me either.
Honestly, Fran, I felt kind of betrayed
by everybody. Listen, Kelly Martin, fantastic
at her job, by the way. Shout to her.
I love her to death. Love her. But I could not
believe that she didn't tell me. I am
utterly disgusted with the way
you were treated, Fran. By
serious, by Kelly, by all
the people involved that played with your
emotions like that?
Yeah.
That's fucked up.
They know that you are the only person and that in that place that is through and
through Jonas Brothers fanatic.
Who should have known they were going to be there?
You.
Who didn't they tell you?
I know.
And it's like, now I feel like I'm being just betrayed by everybody because then, you
know, we talked about it.
They, I tweeted out wondering where they were going to buy the CD Thursday night because
they always buy the CD.
However, I don't think they even did that because like we.
It's no secret that CD stores don't really exist anymore.
And the place that they would always go to in Times Square does not exist.
But I tweeted like, where are we buying the CD tonight?
Tag them all.
Kevin responded with like the shrugging emoji.
And we were like, Kevin, don't play us like that.
And then he said, honestly, no idea.
Well, I wrote WTF, Kevin.
And he wrote to me honestly no idea.
Which we were kind of salty about in the moment.
But now that the time has passed, they didn't buy the CD somewhere.
So there wasn't even a hot tip, Kevin.
Kevin could give us.
I then found out that they were doing a Spotify concert
that I was also not aware of
because I'm, to be frank, I'm not a Spotify user.
I'm an Apple Music gal.
That came back to bite me in the ass
because Spotify invited their top listeners, I guess, to this
or you have a connection, whatnot.
All I knew is that when Thursday ended,
I realized I have far too little connections.
I thought I had maybe something
when it came to the journal.
brothers but that dream got crushed and let me tell you Thursday night I was so sad I got
McDonald's a cheeseburger and a McChicken French fries diet Coke and then on top of that two hours
later I got 16 handles delivered because it was just like a sad like I just want to eat my
feeling situation and it didn't make me feel better I'm not gonna lie well you literally did the fuck it I'm
getting a McChicken you I did I had I had a fuck it I'm getting you you have to do that because I was
just seeing, I was seeing them post from the, from the concert and I was just, well, friend,
I want to remind you now, so sad. Maybe we have a little, you know, not enough connections.
All right. We're just normal gals here. Very normal. But we were interacting with Kevin Jonas,
who genuinely was telling us, guys, I don't know where we're buying CDs. Like, you know, we say we don't,
like, you know, I think we need to be grateful that Kevin Jonas even responded to us because he could
just ignore us like everybody else. I feel like we're just.
like pals with Kevin these days, no, you know.
I was pissed at Kevin for a second.
But then I realized it's nice enough.
He even responded.
It's true, but it's just like such a cat and mouse game with them these days.
Because it's like Joe, Joe so involved in the barstool best bar competition.
Tweets at us that we are going to get the party.
Joe retweeting us.
I'm like, how does nobody think like, hey, maybe we should invite these girls to the concerts?
Right?
Let's give them something because they clearly love us.
They're dedicated.
They're parents.
their parents follow us and share.
Maybe we should have like, do.
Let's just DM Mama Jonas.
Should we just have DM their mom?
Yes, I guess we should have.
We should have like, hey, we really want to come to the Spotify show.
Yeah, like we see you, see us.
That type of thing.
See me.
I just see me.
We just, I mean, one day it's going to pull through for us.
That's what I said.
I talked to know about it.
I was like all of these missed opportunities are going to lead, I hope, to one,
big awesome thing. I really hope. I'm trying to stay optimistic about it. And I hope that one day we have
some kind of like epic moment. Yeah, I think so. But I did barge into serious on like kind of a tear.
Yeah, I mean, hopefully, oops. Yeah. Well, they all know. I'm just saying they're, I'm on their
radar. And if this happens again, we'll have a big problem. But right now, we're okay. Yes.
We have time. This just reminds me. I mean, I didn't really want to talk about this before it happened just in
case but as you were you know eating your feelings and being so upset about the Jonas
brothers I was thinking about the positive sides and I was crying because we're interviewing
Brody Jenner yeah we're interviewing Brody Jenner and honestly I'm not going to talk too much about it
there's a few other people involved we have some of the people from the hills next week
Brody Jenner I'm tearing up right now.
Maria's having a big freak out for Brody Jenner big freak like this is the most I have ever freaked out
guest. Brody Jenner.
I'm very excited.
Me too.
And we keep saying it.
We have some great guests coming up.
We do.
We got some good stuff.
We got some good stuff.
We got some good interviews on today.
We got some good ones next week and the week after that.
And then I don't know about July, but until the end of June,
things are looking great.
Fantastic.
Well, it was only because Kelly gave us a heads up that July is normally a pretty slow month.
Well, people, you know, they go on vacation.
It's the summer.
It's the summer. We're going on vacation.
Exactly, that's what I said.
I was like, we'll be gone for the beginning of July anyway.
Right.
Some of it.
Some of it.
Just a week.
Yes, exactly.
Okay, Ria.
We got to get into the show.
Please get into the, whoa, did I just send that?
You're right.
Because last week's was hilarious.
Last week's was so funny.
I was telling everybody about it.
Yeah.
Let's read this one.
Whoa.
Did I just send that?
I wasn't sure who to send this to, but I think I just had a, did I just send that moment?
A couple months ago, I was seeing this guy.
but we weren't really dating, but he definitely was trying to.
So I was still on Tinder and I was texting him.
Let's just call him Scott.
And my friend one night and I saw someone really cute while I was on Tinder and went to send my friend pictures of the guy I just found and texted, isn't he cute?
It took me until I got a message back from him saying, excuse me, to realize I had sent the pictures to him with the, isn't he cute after them?
I was panicking and thought it was really funny.
but at the time I still wanted to see the guy
so I quickly filled an excuse and said
oh sorry my bad this guy
is my friend's type and I meant to send the pictures
to her to show her probably
didn't believe me but we still saw each other and he didn't
bring it up so I guess I was in the clear
so she was she liked
another guy this boy
and she sent him pictures of another boy
from Tinder saying isn't he cute right
but she had a great I want to commend her
for her excuse no it's a good excuse
great excuse to be like oh and I feel
like that's actually a kind of an easy one to get out of like oh shoot meant to send this to my friend like
saw this guy way her type like yeah because yeah i don't know if i would have been able to think about it
that quickly but great response on her part yeah i think i think clearly she said she kind of got out of it
she said she was in the clear they got to see each other yeah that's the best case scenario out of these
text messages it definitely is however to the guy on the other end you got to you got to
to be you got to that's a red flag you the fact that he wasn't like woke on the situation yeah
it's kind of like buddy what are you doing you don't realize you know great excuse for the girl
regardless regardless she's on Tinder yeah yeah like not a great look for you swiping yeah but maybe
he was still swiping probably probably probably let let's be real probably and she could be like look
swiping's fun yeah like maybe she was just browsing yeah just a little like a little
entertainment, a little hobby.
Exactly.
Exactly.
All right.
I like that one.
Not the best, but it was good.
Yeah.
How would you rate it?
I'd give that one like a B minus.
Not A plus like last week.
No, last week was really good.
We've had some really good ones that have normally all been in like the A range,
but yeah.
This was good because you kind of got out of it.
It's no fun when they get out of it.
You know, we like respect her for getting out of it.
Exactly.
Good work.
But keep sending them to me.
Yes.
At Maria Chiffo on Instagram.
You can't spell my last name.
It's CIU FFO.
Thanks.
And you probably didn't know how to pronounce it either.
So there you go.
Yep.
All right, friend.
Let's get into today's show.
The topics today we got friends.
Jennifer Aniston.
She's talking about how she would do a reboot.
Beyonce and Jay-Z were at the NBA finals.
And there was a clip of the Warriors owner's wife talking to Jay-Z.
The Beehive went nuts.
It's crazy.
Bradley and Arena officially break up.
and the Jonas brothers have a brand new album
and we have interviews with Jason Tartick and Sutton Foster.
So let's get into it, starting off with Bradley and Arena.
Bradley Cooper and Arena Shike are officially over.
I mean, four days ago, talked about this.
They said they were hanging on by a thread and it couldn't be more obvious.
Yeah, they were bound to break up.
They were bound to break up.
I didn't know if we would get the headline in the same exact week as the hanging by the thread headline.
but it makes sense. It was like a little teaser for the inevitable. But I have a feeling that they've
been broken up for a while. Me too. People are giving me credit for calling it. I'd like to say thank you. I'm
not proud of that at all. Also, it's just not, it wasn't that crazy that they broke up. So I do
appreciate the credit, although I just think it was obvious that that was coming. But now the
question everybody asks is, what was happening with Lady Gaga? Because this has been the ongoing
problem, not problem, but what people have been saying is there's something going on with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
Now, is that true? We have no idea, but will that ever come out? Who knows? It's like the next
the next time Bradley is spotted anywhere near Lady Gaga, people are going to freak out. Oh yeah.
Because now he's single, she's single. It's like those rumors are going to follow them forever,
I feel like. And it was just, it felt so.
The rumors circulating between for Bradley and Rina was like,
he doesn't drink.
He likes to stay home.
She likes to go out.
Like just they're like it.
It wasn't working for a long time.
So it always seemed like this was coming.
They do have a daughter.
That's the only thing that this, that makes it sad.
You know, couples break up.
But this is what makes it sad because there is a little girl involved.
I think she's like two.
So she's still very young.
but that, you know, it's
Right.
That's Hollywood.
And if Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are now in the same room,
like they might as well bang.
I'm just putting that out there.
Like if I were them, I would be like, well, at this point.
I'm sure they've done it already.
If they haven't done it already, though,
at this point, you'd be like, might as well do it.
Everyone already thinks we have.
We should just get it out of the way.
Who knows?
Who knows?
It would be crazy if all of a sudden,
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper were together.
That people's brains would explode.
I'm not actively rooting for it, but it would be wild if it happened.

this viral clip of Beyonce, Jay-Z, and the warrior's owner's wife,
it's going viral.
The beehive is pissed because they were sitting there.
The wife reached over Beyonce.
She was talking to Jay-Z.
In the clip, you could see on Beyonce's face.
She's just like, ugh, get this woman away from me.
When you look at what they were saying, she was asking, like, his drink order.
Yeah.
And Jay-Z was like, uh, fuck a soda.
Like you could see what they're saying.
It was such a funny video.
It was a funny video.
It wasn't a big deal.
Yeah.
Like she looked, she looked a little annoyed.
You can't deny that.
And that's why it was funny, obviously.
But like always with Beyonce and these things, everything blows up.
And like ever since the Becky with the good hair situation, you know, like even the, even when that video, I first started seeing the video being posted.
all the comments were like, oh my God, get that Becky away from Jaycee.
Like it was just so crazy because Nicole Curran is the wife of the Golden State
Warriors owner.
She had to delete her Instagram.
People were attacking her so much for talking to Jay-Z.
And they were their guests.
Like she and her husband invited Jay-Z and Beyonce to the gate.
Right.
I mean, everyone's been in that situation before where you,
you're Beyonce and you're just like, you know, maybe she just, Beyonce was like, this girl's too close
to me. I don't know what it was that happened. I thought it was a funny clip. The girl had to,
the woman had to delete her Instagram because people were attacking her, which, I mean, it's not
like Beyonce was like, was that pissed off. You know what I mean? Like, it was a quick little video.
Like, let's just move on. Let's laugh about it. Beyonce is never like sick him. Like she doesn't,
she doesn't say anything. And you know that this case was bad because Beyonce, and she never makes
comments herself, but her publicist did say something.
Her publicist
wrote, she posted a picture
of Beyonce and
Jay-Z from their concert.
And she said, I'm looking back today
at the start of the on the
OTR-2 tour one year ago.
It was a place of joy,
unimaginable, and entertainment from two of the
best performers in the world and a place of love.
Every single day on that tour I saw love,
which is why I also wanted to speak here
to the beautiful bay hive.
I know your love runs
deep, but that love has to be given to every human. It will bring no joy to the person you love so much
if you spew hate in her name. We love you. So that was a nice statement from her publicist.
Makes sense. They're going, they're like commenting bees and stuff. They're going after her.
It's not like the woman kissed Jay-Z on the face. Right. And then, you know, like she didn't,
reach over and touch Jay-Z. She was just saying, what do you want to draw? Exactly. And the shade room
caught a comment from her, from Nicole, that she wrote, listen, Beehive, I respect Queen Bee. I love her.
I talked to her husband twice tonight. First, to take a drink order for them both when they arrived as
they were our guests. Second, to explain why I gave his wife a rose from a fan. All of this has been taken
out of context. I am a happily married woman. Telling me to kill myself, somehow I don't think she would
support this. I mean, it's just insane. It's insane. But yeah, I mean, obviously, Beyonce is not
wanting everyone to threaten her.
She was just annoyed in that moment.
She told ESPN that she's never experienced cyberbullying like this.
She's like, I can't believe our players go through this.
That kids go through this.
It's just crazy.
She didn't do anything and everybody freaked out.
It was just a funny video.
Why can't you just enjoy a funny video?
Right.
Like everybody else is laughing at it.
You all should too.
Yeah.
And it's not even like we saw a 30 second clip of them mingling.
Like it wasn't like,
She was touching Jay-Z or...
I mean, she literally...
You literally see her taking a drink order.
Like, she's asking, what do you want to drink?
And he says, uh, Valka Sto, and she's like, with lime.
Yeah.
Like, they literally were just taking a drink order.
Right. It's not...
It didn't need to go any farther than that.
Not that serious.
Oh, man.
It's stupid.
The Jones brothers have a new album and...
They're back.
They could not be more back.
They could not be more back.
I've been talking a lot about how I've just been missing them places.
And that just keeps growing and growing.
Just got a text for my friend.
Seven minutes ago.
Sitting next to your BFF's Nick and Joe Jonas at lunch right now.
My friend's just in the same restaurant as them in Soho.
What?
Yep.
I'm just sitting here like an idiot.
It keeps happening.
Why does this keep happening to you?
I don't know.
And it sucks because everybody knows that I love them so much.
so they're like, oh, I got to tell Fran.
It's like everybody's first instinct to tell me.
But you would, like, I don't want to know anymore.
You're pissed.
Because now I'm just, now everybody's seeing them except for me.
Right.
It's bullshit, Fran, honestly.
But we got to talk about the album.
Because the album, I'm sorry that you're not there.
I know.
Like, if we could make it there in time, I would skip out on the show and go.
But I just don't think even if we left the show.
He's not even the first person to send this to me.
My friend screenshoted somebody that she followed on Instagram, who
took like a sneaky pick of them in this restaurant in Soho and also sent it to me.
So they've been there for, they've been there for a while now.
Right.
So they're probably going to leave.
Super creepy that I know, like that they've been there for easily, like this restaurant
over now.
I don't want to say it.
But it's been, they're in, they're in Soho, just, you know.
Do I know what restaurant it is?
Yeah.
Oh, man.
Yeah.
And if you knew they were there?
Joe lives down there.
Oh.
They're always kind of around.
Oh, man.
Fran, I'm sorry.
It's just not me.
But anyway, their new album came.
out and it is freaking fantastic.
It's so good.
I was worried.
You were worried.
Let's just put that out there.
They're putting out an album first time 10 years.
You don't know what their vibe is like.
Sucker was fantastic.
I listened to Sucker maybe 200 times, probably more than that.
I didn't love cool, but I, you know, it wasn't bad.
It just wasn't my vibe.
Sucker was awesome.
This album is filled with so many jams.
Yeah.
And I think the best part about it is the reasons why they wrote the songs.
On Apple Music, they put the description of each song.
You got like a really good taste of them and what they were going for.
And, you know, Joe told Apple Music that they went into every session, hoping to bottle of happiness and bring it to the world.
We didn't know that would actually become the title of the album or that the cover would be the visual representation of how we feel, which is that with each other, we can get through anything.
So the album opens up with Sucker and Cool, which,
Obviously, we've already heard.
Awesome.
Love it.
Great song.
Songs.
You're a little if you're on cool.
I love both of them, obviously.
Only human is after that.
Joe said that this was the last song to make the album.
They weren't really sure.
They said that they actually wrote and recorded this song via FaceTime with the writers
who were Scandinavian.
So they were like be facetiming with these guys in Sweden.
Nick said it would have made for a great Apple commercial.
Oh, that's so true.
It's a great idea. Maybe you write songs over FaceTime and they make it to an album.
Yes. The next song is, I believe, which is about Priyanka. Maybe we just skipped this one.
Yeah, let's skip that one. Wasn't my favorite moving on.
It's about Priyanka. That's cool. Whatever.
Apparently, they listened to it a lot on his bachelor party at his bachelor party.
No, they didn't. That's what they, that's what Joe said. We listened to it a lot on your bachelor party.
Anyway, next song.
Used to be.
Joe said that upon first listen,
this was not a song that he connected with,
and then all of a sudden he was like,
oh my God, I get it.
I love it.
It just felt right.
Kevin said, I feel like this song
was heavily influenced by Post Malone
and stuff on the rhythmic urban side.
Post had shouted us out in one of his songs,
so we felt it was only appropriate to do the same.
This is one of my favorite songs on the album.
I agree.
I think it's super catchy and it absolutely does sound
like a post Malone song.
But they said that.
Like, it's like, they were like, yeah, we were inspired by Post Malone.
And if you hear it on the radio, you're like, this is a jam.
No matter who it is.
Totally.
Post Malone Jonas Bellars, doesn't matter who it is.
Great songs.
Yeah.
I wouldn't be surprised if this ended up there being another single.
Very catchy.
Yeah, you get the vibe of it.
The next one is every single time.
This is one of my personal favorites.
Yes, do you love this one?
I really do.
Like we said, the album music descriptions are kind of hilarious because it's like it feels like you're reading a conversation between them.
So Joe goes, this one has a police feel to it.
Nick goes, the band police.
If you haven't heard of them, you should definitely go check them out.
They're a great new band.
They're fantastic.
Kevin goes, the lead singer is this guy stung.
Nick, yeah, stung.
He's fantastic.
Just some brother banter about staying in the police.
Just, you know, making jokes.
Yeah, they're cracking jokes in their description.
This one, Trent Senator earlier, and I thought the same thing, reminds me of slightly stupid, like one of their songs.
I personally very much enjoy it.
It's one of my favorites.
I've listened to it five times today.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The next song is Don't Throw It Away, which Joe said has a lot of 80s influences in it, which I totally can hear.
It kind of sounds a little Betty Whoish, which I don't think you listen to any Betty Who.
No.
Betty Who was on an episode of The Bachelorette on Becca's season.
Everyone was like, who the hell is this person?
But I was pumped because I think Betty who's great
And it's one of Becca's favorite artist
So she was pumped.
Oh, I remember this.
It's just like a lot of synthetic pop,
Like very like Robin's synthetic pop situation.
Yeah.
Which is great.
Don't throw it away as up there as one of my favorites.
Love Her is next.
Kevin said it's very important on an album for us to have some romantic songs.
They have a lot of Vibe Upbeat songs.
But then he said by the eighth song
at this point in the dinner, you're finishing that bottle of wine, you had the main course.
So this is, you know, a slow, romantic song, great meaning behind it for all those guys out there,
basically saying, the woman's always right.
Just love her.
That's pretty much the whole gist of the song.
Honestly, it was like props to the Jonas Bellars for putting that out there, just letting everyone know your girlfriend, wife, whatever it is.
They're always writing if they're wrong.
It's just like let her win the fight.
It's worth it in the long run.
It's pretty much the whole vibe of the song.
Beautiful.
Smart men.
Smart men.
Um, the next song is happy when I'm sad.
Nick said that this song is about putting on a face, a mask, a vibe of being happy when
you're sad.
Kevin said, I think a lot of people can relate to that.
I visualize Dexter, the TV show.
And Nick says, just cutting someone in half, but smiling through it.
And Joe goes, interesting.
That's pretty dark, guys.
Not what I had in mind when we were writing it, but to each his own.
See, this is why I love Joe because he's always the comedic relief and he's so funny and
entertaining.
And he's the best all around.
Yes.
Yes.
The next one is trust, which Nick collabed with this guy that he, Jason Evigan.
I could be butchering this man's name.
Who he wrote Chains with, obviously Chains, banger.
So makes sense.
Nick is, if we didn't learn it from the documentary, Nick is very involved in the creative process.
I think with the writing and producing and whatnot.
He's listed on basically every song as one of the songwriters, not Joe and Kevin.
are not listed on all them. Joe's listed on most.
Kevin's listed on a few.
Strangers is the next song,
which Joe said,
you've gotten through 10 songs,
and you're like,
where the hell are the Jones brothers I know?
This is stupid.
Lucky for you, number 11 is here to save the day.
He's right,
strangers have some serious old school of Jones brothers,
vibes to it,
which is fantastic because
there's,
it's definitely a different sound.
Like it's very,
it's very current.
And we haven't had an album in 10 years.
That's what I'm saying.
I think that, you know, they're more mature now, and this is music that everybody will listen to, not just, you know, when we heard those songs burning up SOS, year 3000, we were kids.
Yeah.
They still, you know, we still love them, but I think we love them because we were kids and we heard them and they just stuck with us.
We know the lyrics.
We know the song.
It's like when we listen to high school musical songs.
It's like, we love the songs, but, you know, it's not for everybody.
But these songs, I think, give off a very mature vibe that everybody could listen to.
Exactly.
And my, I went through, like, it was basically all of Wednesday.
that I listened to
It's About Time, which is their album from 2006.
It's like their first album.
And it's like songs like what I go to school for.
It's like they're like talking about like their crush in school.
And like, you know, it was so.
And I love the songs as they remind me of being little.
But it's so funny because I spend like a whole day listening to Nick
before he like hit puberty.
And now it's such a different vibe.
But it's very cool.
The next song is hesitate.
Oh, God.
This one...
Which don't get too emotional.
But Joe said, this is an important song.
I wrote it for my significant other, Sophie.
It's one of those love letters that you write to your partner saying,
I'll be there no matter what.
This song had me in tears every single time I listen to it.
It's my favorite song on the album.
The only problem that I have with it is I can't listen to it without bawling.
I know.
And then Sophie posted it on her story today and said she was like this song on repeat.
Like I love you, Joe Jonas.
It's just so good.
Let's just let it play for a second.
Don't you ever say goodbye.
Okay, well, now you're playing next part.
That's just not what we wanted to hear.
It's fine.
Joe still wrote it for Sophie, but Joe sings the whole beginning part.
I'll take your penny.
Am I missing it?
Joe's, he opens it at the beginning.
It's fun.
The chorus, you get the gist.
Yeah, you get the gist of it.
The chorus is great.
Beautiful, beautiful song.
Joe Jonas, you are such a gem.
Such a gem.
And then the album closes with Roller Coaster and Come Back,
which is very much about the journey and coming back to being a band.
With Roller Coaster, Kevin said our documentary,
chasing happiness came out recently.
and it was so great to be able to tell our story.
We knew we needed a song to help do that.
So Ryan Teter presented us with Roller Coaster.
We adjusted a little bit of it to make it our own,
and it perfectly embodies all the themes that are relevant in the documentary.
Having had that fun when we were young,
then choosing to do it again in a healthy way,
and in the end saying,
I would gladly get on that roller coaster with you again and do it all over again.
Roller Coaster is one of my favorites.
Yeah, they played Roller Coaster in the documentary.
And then when I heard Roller Coaster again, when the album came out,
I thought, wow, this song sounds familiar.
Remembered I heard in the documentary?
Also, great song on the album.
There's no songs on the album that you're like,
damn, I want to party.
Right.
But they're all like, they're just chill songs.
Right.
You just sit back on the beach and play this album and you just relax.
It's good vibes.
Yeah, just great vibes.
And yeah, my brother texted me this morning and was like,
what songs do I have to listen to?
And I gave him the ones that I really liked.
And he was like, all right, but like,
what's the one that I can turn on?
to get the people going.
Like what's like the sucker vibes?
I'm like there, it's sucker.
Just sucker.
It's suckers really like.
Yeah.
There are other ones that are, they're very, they're high energy and they're like
upbeat songs, but.
Well, they're not high energy.
Sucker is different.
No, I think some of them are kind of high energy.
I think, uh, I mean, I wouldn't say that they're super high energy.
I think that they're all pretty like, they're not like super fast upbeat.
They are upbeat, but not in that way.
They're just kind of just like post Malone.
Like just.
rotting it out, it seems like.
You're like, just on a wave.
Yeah.
And they closed the album,
would come back,
which is obviously about them.
Yeah, and they're coming back together
as a band.
And let me tell you,
I was crying in my bed at like 1230 last night.
I think there were just millions of girls
all over the world
sobbing in their beds last night
about the Jonas brothers.
And we are two of them.
And I kept refreshing social media
thinking that I would see them
somewhere buying the CD.
It's kind of disappointing that they weren't
somewhere behind the CD,
but like a target.
But it doesn't even exist
And Target doesn't even
Have them in the store
I look today because there's a target
In Harold Square
I was like oh maybe I'll go
I'll go buy one
But you can buy it online
They'll mail it to you
But you can't go into the actual store
Because the actual stores don't sell them
So like you can see it's
You know Jonas Brothers Happiness begins
It's like they're selling deluxe
Albums that have like an extra song or two on it
I think another song
And then like an acoustic version of cool
and you can order it, they'll send it to you,
or you can pick it up at a store,
but none of the stores in Manhattan sell it.
The closest one for me to go pick it up at a Target was Jersey City.
That's sad.
That's really sad.
I know.
Nothing on Long Island?
No.
Like, yes, Queens, but it's like...
I'm going to go to Target this weekend just to see if they're there.
Yeah, I just wanted it to be...
I wanted to go today.
You know, day of the release, maybe like take a picture of me
with the album, maybe I'd get like a retweet or something.
Yeah, like you're just looking for some more...
I'm looking for the attention, really.
Yeah, you're looking from the attention from the Jonas Bollys.
I'm looking for the attention big time.
To be like, look, I got your CD, pay attention to me.
They did, they have been retweeting some girls who have gone to stores and gotten them.
Maybe I've seen some girls go to Walmart.
Maybe you got to go to Walmart.
Yeah, we don't have any of those really that are close to here.
I don't know, but I do have to say that besides,
hesitate, which is my favorite song on the album, I love every single time. I think Sucker really
is the best one to me. Yeah, they came out hot. It came out hot with Sucker. Which was smart.
Because Sucker, to me, is a song I listened to before I'm like, I'm going out. It's truly
the opposite. Yeah, it was like the opposite of Taylor Swift. Like Taylor Swift, I feel like always
releases a new single that maybe is not necessarily the fan favorite from the album. Yeah.
But when I saw, when I listened to the whole.
album and the album starts with Sucker like the song is the first song on the album they're set in
the bar super high. I am so excited for their concert. So excited. Now that the album's out. Yeah.
Feeling good about it. I'm very excited. And plus they're going to play the old music too.
Yeah. I'm I really can't wait. They're doing a they're doing like a New York Times talk next week
with Ryan Tetter. The tickets were kind of expensive and I have just spent a
ridiculous amount of money on tour tickets and
merch and other various Jonas Brothers
Membramia.
Yeah, I mean, can the Jonas Brothers just come in here?
I mean, you're just spending so much money on them.
But very, very nice.
My aunts bought me a ticket.
They all just teamed together and they bought me a ticket.
So that's next Thursday I'll be going to that.
I'm super excited.
That's beautiful.
I'm so happy for you.
I know.
It's GA.
You'll meet them?
I don't think so.
It's like, I feel like it's.
seat, you know, it's seating, although it says, it says it's GA.
I'm just assuming it's first come, first serve.
So are you going to get there early?
I mean, if you don't think I'm running out the door after radio on Thursday.
You got to get there.
People are going to be camping out.
Starts at 8 o'clock, so I'm sure people will be there all day, but it starts at 8 o'clock
you're going to go stand there?
I'll probably get there at like 4.30.
By herself, you're going to stand on that line?
No, I've got somebody coming with me.
Oh, okay.
That's good.
That's good to know.
So it's like going to be a tag team effort.
Whoever gets there first, make sure we stay.
Because you always need two people when you wait on big lines.
So that you can exit the line and come back.
Maybe you want food.
Maybe you want pizza.
You got to go to the bathroom.
You never know what's happening.
You need a buddy.
Or you make friends in the line.
I'm known to make friends in the line.
Remember when I went to go meet my guy from Outlander at the barber store, that's what I'm saying.
When I went to go meet Sam Hewan, made friends with all the other crazy Sam Huan fans over there.
Warning.
I watched The Price Is Right.
This Price is Right documentary on Netflix.
and this guy was obsessed with Price is right,
and he made friends with people on the line,
and then that person went on the show
and then took his answer
and was the first guy to, like, exactly nail the price at the end.
So he kind of fucked him over,
so just be careful with who you make friends with online,
because if they get in the crowd
and then they meet the Jonas brothers,
you're going to be pissed.
Wow.
Just saying. Just throwing out out there.
Okay.
Just beware, Fran.
Okay, I'll be careful with the people that I mingle with in lines.
You might end up in the show and they're like, who wants to come meet the Joe bros?
And they just push you right out of the way.
Just saying, eye on the prize here.

I'm joined by the wonderful Sutton Foster, the star of Younger.
I am such a huge fan.
I haven't missed one episode of Younger.
That's so awesome.
Yeah.
I really think it is, it's such a great show, and I always tell people to watch it.
It's like one of my all-time favorites, and the new season premieres June 12th, Wednesday, TV land.
Are you excited or nervous for people to watch this season?
I'm super excited.
I feel like that season's.
it's like the show has like hit a new level.
Yeah.
Mainly because I feel like the show is like marinated really well.
All the characters have and all the relationships.
Everything has grown and it's so much deeper.
And like things happen in season six that we've been waiting like the whole series to happen.
Do you?
I'm excited.
I mean, but I have only seen the first two episodes.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
So I, we live in like this little bubble and then and most of us on the show are fans of the show.
Yeah.
So we all watch it and get excited and get to watch each other's work.
But we, I'm so curious to see how it unfolds and I'm super curious to see how fans react.
Yeah.
Do you have, do you guys know ahead of time with scripts or do you kind of like sit down at the table read and you're like, oh my God, I can't believe this is what's happening?
We usually get the scripts like a couple days before the table read.
And because the writers will keep everything pretty close to the vest.
Sometimes we can get like a loose lip rider and we'll try to get some like information.
But even with this season, things were changing.
Like the end of the season changed like two or three times.
Like they didn't quite know how they wanted to end the season.
So they don't tell us too much because they're still figuring it out.
The writers are still figuring it out.
Do you guys ever go back and watch like season one and think how crazy it is where everybody is in such
different places?
I haven't watched it in so long.
I should do that.
I should go back and rewatch the whole thing.
It is great.
I like I normally, I'm maybe I'm just crazy.
But I like to when a new season's coming out, I forget because it's.
been a while. So sometimes I'll rewatch
the whole thing from the beginning. That's awesome.
Because it makes you so much more excited
for the next season. I feel like
being on the show, like the first time I watch it, I'm just
watching myself and trying, making sure I don't look like a fool or an idiot.
And then I need to rewatch it so that I can take in the whole thing.
But it would be awesome to go back and watch the whole thing just as a whole.
Yeah. I know you, I'm sure you can't say too much, but
what can we expect from Liza this season?
I think Liza is, she has a lot more responsibility at work because Kelsey's now in charge and Liza's her right-hand man.
But it's, I mean, in true younger fashion, you know, there's no like running off into the sunset.
Nothing is, nothing comes easy.
Yeah. Liza's in a relationship with Charles, which is, you know, we've been waiting six seasons to see what that's like.
They're in an open relationship, public relationship.
But it's, so, but.
Yeah, for a second, I was like, open relationship.
No, no, no, no.
Yeah, I know.
That means something completely different.
No, they're not, I mean, they're out in the open.
Yes, they're out in the public.
Yeah, they're out of the public.
But they, they also like, but now without the secrecy and without the, like, you know, will they won't they?
It's sort of what is there there, you know?
Yeah.
And I, but a lot of this season revolves around things that happen at work.
Right.
It's very work-centric.
Yeah.
It's kind of awesome.
And about, and because now.
the company is run completely by women.
Right. And like you said, Kelsey, played by Hillary Duff, how close have you guys gotten
working together? We've gotten close, especially these last, we've always been close.
Yeah. Especially these last two seasons. We've grown very, very close. And now we're, I mean,
she's always been a mom. She's have her son, Luca. But when I became a mother, I think that that
bonded us. Right. Definitely. Definitely. So how do you, I guess is really the two of you,
how do you kind of balance the mom life and being on set?
Well, we all have kids.
Miriam, Debbie, and Hillary and I were all moms.
And it is an absolute challenge.
Yeah, I know, right.
Younger daycare.
Younger daycare.
I have amazing, I have like an army of people who help.
And we're able to bring our kids to work.
My daughter will come visit a couple times a week.
And Hillary has brought her baby to set.
And so it is kind of, we have like our dressing rooms are sort of separate from set.
And the upper floor is baby and dogs.
And it's a really family friendly set, which is, I know that that isn't always the case with women who, you know, women who work.
So I feel really lucky that we're able to do that.
But it's a lot.
It's a lot to balance.
And, you know, my daughter knows mommy works.
And then when she comes to work, if I go to set, she goes, Mommy, no set.
No, Seth.
And I'm like, no, it's okay.
Set's a good thing.
It's okay.
But she realized, she knows that I go to work, but that I come home.
And I want to raise her.
You know, I feel so proud to be a working mother.
And I want her to find something.
And I also feel proud that I'm living my dream.
And that's what I want for her.
So it's, I want her to be able to find something that she loves to do.
And it is about balance, but it is also about asking for help.
Yeah, definitely.
Yeah, you can't do it alone.
Yes.
And has New York always been your home?
I've lived here for over 20 years.
Originally from Georgia.
Yeah.
And then went to high school in Michigan.
I'm like a southern, Midwestern New Yorker.
New Yorker.
Right.
So I don't know if people realize this, but you have an extensive Broadway background, which is amazing.
How was the transition from theater being on stage to doing a TV show that is now on its sixth season?
It was definitely a new, it's ultimately the same.
I mean, you're creating characters, you're telling stories, but just learning like the format.
I mean, I've been in theater.
I've been working in theater since I was 17 years old professionally.
And then in my late 30s, I started doing more television.
I started doing television more full time.
So it's definitely a transition, but it's been, I feel, again, it's like, I keep saying, I feel so lucky.
I feel so lucky, but I really do feel so lucky that younger was the show that I really got to learn how to work on, work in TV.
And I couldn't ask for more supportive cast, crew, creator, you know, Darren Starr has been amazing.
So for me, and also to be able to learn something, a new, you know, format of being an actor.
Yeah.
It has been eye-opening and amazing and has actually, I think, made me a better.
theater performer right and so you mentioned darren star obviously sex and city you know he has been so
successful did you think younger would have massive success or were like when did you realize that younger
was going to be picked up for multiple seasons i had no you know you you do you never know i guess right
yeah you get a script then you shoot a pilot and then you go oh maybe you'll pick they picked it up for
okay great and then oh they picked it up for season two season three season four wait about what and and and then
I started to realize that it was gaining momentum because it's gained momentum every season. And like even last season, season five was our highest rated season. And more and more people are talking about it. And I think I realized it when I got stopped in a, I was in like a I 95 like rest stop.
Oh my gosh. Yeah. It's always like in the bathroom. Right. Somewhere you don't want. Yeah. Somewhere you don't want to be recognized.
Totally. And I'm like, you know, I'm on a road trip. I.
it's not pretty.
And someone's like, oh my gosh, you're on younger.
It's my favorite show.
Or it's like going to Target or the shop right or somewhere.
Right.
I go, oh, my gosh.
People are really watching this show and all over the country.
So it's been really cool.
Yeah.
But I still go, oh, my God.
I still like get so excited when I hear that people watch it and love it.
And it's awesome.
It's been like the best job I've ever had.
Yes.
like I said, I love it.
But you play a woman who lies about her age,
says she's younger than she actually is, hence the name.
And what do you do?
Because obviously you have to play somebody
who can pass for being in their late 20s.
Do you have a skincare secret?
Because you do look like you're in your 20s.
No, well, okay.
I would actually say yes.
We have to suspend, you know,
the suspension of belief, but it's,
I feel like, you know, I always say youth or the idea of youth is how you look at the world and how you, you can meet somebody in their 20s.
And if they have a negative outlook on life or if they walk around with the weight of the world on their shoulders, that can age a person more than anything.
You know, my tagline on my iPhone is from the land of puppy dogs, puppy dogs and rainbows.
And I tend to look at life very optimistically and hopefully.
And I take care of my body and my skin and of course, all of those things.
But I try not to fret about it too much because even that is exhausting.
Right.
And worrying about it probably makes you even more stressful, which doesn't help.
No, it doesn't help.
So I really do think the way you look at life is what keeps you youthful.
I love that.
That's very nice.
So you said you are mom, but how do you kind of get your downtime?
Like, what do you like to do when you have nothing to do?
Oh, gosh.
Well, I'm a bit of a doer.
It's hard to be idle.
Yeah.
But I love to, I have, I love to crochet.
I love to make things.
I was just going to say, I saw on your Instagram you made.
So I was pretty impressed.
Like, they're pretty nice.
Thanks.
Yeah.
I'm super crafty.
I love to make things with my hands.
I love to cook and bake.
And but I crochet a lot on set because we have a lot of downtime or in the car or anywhere where I have to just because right now being a mom too, time is so, is so important because I only have, you know, a certain amount of time to be with her.
So when I'm not with her, I like to make her things.
So I make a baby blanket.
I made her baby blanket.
And now I make little sweaters for her.
And I'm starting to design my own.
I'm working with a yarn company with Lion Brand yarn.
And so now I'm starting to deal partnerships with that.
So it's pretty.
Mom life.
I'm loving it so hard.
So it's really about, like Emily and I make my daughter's name is Emily.
So we make cookies together.
And she loves to just watch and she just wants to be involved.
And like someday I'll be able to teach her how to crochet.
I can't wait.
Hopefully she'll love it, you know.
Right.
And she's growing up getting to see you.
I know.
Do something that's so cool, something that you love, be on a TV show.
Yeah, yeah.
And you guys have a great chemistry on the show.
Do you guys all have that chemistry offset?
We do.
We genuinely love and respect one another.
And we all have like, everyone on the show has families and lives outside of the show.
But the set is incredibly loving, respectful.
There's, I mean, we keep talking about it, but it's really true.
and it's just such a wonderful environment.
And I know that that isn't always the case.
So we sort of hold it very dear and try to keep it,
keep it, you know, like the land of joy.
Do you guys have a prankster on set?
Not really.
Nobody likes to pull jokes on anybody.
I mean, we get into giggle fits and stuff.
Like sometimes if we are in the conference room doing a conference room scene
or if we have to do like a long scene,
we'll make each other laugh or do silly things.
but mostly our days are so long because we're there 15, 16 hours a day.
We just, we want to get our job.
We want to do our job well so that we can go home to our families.
So we keep the pranks to a minimum.
Yeah.
I actually think I would love, do you guys have bloopers?
I would love to see younger bloopers.
Oh, check it out.
There's bloopers after almost every episode.
Okay.
That's something that I don't have to go and watch.
Some silly stuff happens.
Yes.
Obviously, Liza has been in this kind of epic love trying.
triangle. Josh, Charles, Charles, Josh. We left with Josh on like a major cliffhanger.
Yeah. So I know you can't really give us anything, but how is Josh feeling in this at the start of
season six? I think Josh is scared. I think Josh wants to find out if this baby is his.
Right. He needs to just know more information. Yeah. And I think Liza, Liza doesn't even know about
the baby yet. She will find.
out.
So Liza's also has to wrap her head around that as well because one of the main reasons why
Liza and Josh weren't together was because she wanted him to be able to have a family and that
wasn't something that she wanted to do again or that she felt like it was sort of past
her time.
And so she needed to sort of let him go because she wanted him to have that experience.
And now he's going to be having that.
So it'll be interesting to see how that plays out in their relationship.
As a fan, are you more of a Josh guy or Charles guy?
I've gone back and forth a million times.
So have I. I'm watching.
But that's what I think is kind of interesting about the show.
And it's funny because I'll read people on, I'll read people's responses on Twitter.
And, you know, people have very strong.
Very strong.
Very strong opinions.
And I, I've always been, you know, it's such an interesting question because I've always,
The reason she went into this was not to find a man.
She went into this to get a job and to reestablish her career.
And these boys have been a wonderful distraction.
I'd like to see how her relationship with Charles plays out.
I think we haven't seen that yet.
It's like you always want what you can't have.
Like when I was with Josh, I was like, oh, Charles.
And then now she's with Charles.
I'm like, oh, but Josh.
I know.
And that's sort of the, the,
the genius of the show and of the writing.
And just when you think you figured it out, they throw a curveball and you're like, wait, what?
Oh, I don't know what I feel.
So, but I'll be curious.
I don't know how it'll all end.
It'll probably be just Liza walking off into the sunset on her own, you know, maybe.
But in the meantime, the boys are awfully nice.
Right.
Definitely.
you recently gave a commencement speech.
I did.
Was that crazy, awesome?
I would be so nervous.
I was super nervous.
It was Boston Conservatory.
And see, Boston Conservatory was one of the schools that I had looked at to go to school.
Okay.
I was like applying for college.
They have an amazing musical theater program.
And they asked me if I, they gave me an honorary doctorate and asked me to speak.
And I was filming actually.
and we ended up writing the speech.
My husband's a writer as well.
He helped me.
But we wrote it.
We drove to Boston and in the car, on the way to Boston, we're writing the speech in the car.
And then when we got to the hotel, I was like, okay, we have to type this out.
And I'm like typing it out, typing it out, typing it out.
And he's helping me with like, you know, how to, you know, make sure it sounds like a coherent person.
But we wrote it very, very sort of fast.
But I was super proud of how it came out
And I thought, yeah, this is sort of my philosophy on life.
And it had three major points.
One is to say yes to opportunities, to leap into situations, to trust your gut and to get a hobby.
Yeah.
Crochet.
To crochet, yeah.
Because you want to have like, to be a creator and to be an artist, it can't always be about waiting for someone to give you permission to create or waiting for the phone to ring.
It has to be do something that you have creative control over every day, even if it's basically.
even if it's baking cookies or crocheting a sweater or drawing a picture or singing a song or something that's yours.
And obviously, I'm not going to ask you to recite your speech over again, but you kind of talked about what led up to winning a Tony and that story and kind of being an understudy.
Can you give just like a little summary of what happened there?
So my big break was with a show called Thorly Modern Millie.
And I originally wasn't cast as Millie.
I had auditioned for it six times but didn't get it and decided, asked them if they needed an understudy.
And they did.
And so I ended up going out of town with the show to La Jolla, California.
This is back in 2001-ish, 2000.
And it was like that sort of classic Broadway tale.
The leading lady got sick.
They asked me to step in for her.
I ended up taking over the role of Millie out of town.
and then when the show moved to Broadway, I moved to Broadway as Millie in the show.
And then the show ended up winning the Tony Award in 2002 for Best Musical and I won for Best Actress.
Which is amazing.
Yeah, it's a great story, obviously.
It's a, yeah.
Yeah.
Sometimes I look back and go, wow.
Wow, that was crazy.
It was such a blur in my life, but everything, you know, changed in an instant.
Yeah.
Would you go back to Broadway if you had that to do you?
A thousand percent.
Yeah, of course.
I'm actually going to be
going back to Broadway next year in
2020 with a revival of the music man
starring Hugh Jackman.
Wow. That's so exciting.
Come check it out. Yeah, totally.
I will definitely be seeing that.
Who doesn't love Hugh Jackman?
Right.
And thank you so much for sitting down
and talking with me.
Younger premieres Wednesday, June 12th,
10-9 Central TV land. I know I'm excited.
I know everybody else is excited.
You can't wait to see what happens.
Thank you so much.
Me too.
So no one told you that got some joke you broke.
Jennifer Anderson said that she would do a friend's reunion.
And she said all the other girls would do it.
And she said, probably the boys would do it too.
Yeah, I mean, I would watch the fuck out of that.
I'm not going to sit here and say, oh, I don't need a friend's reunion.
I like how it ended.
See, I don't want them to do it.
See, I can see how you don't want them to do it.
I understand like they pieced it together.
It was 10 great seasons or 9, whatever seasons it was.
Great show.
You don't want them to do it.
Why?
because it just ended so perfectly.
Right.
And now it's 25 years later since they started.
Yeah, but like, did they have kids?
What happened?
Yeah, like, but the show wouldn't be about them.
It would just would be such different vibes.
They'd all be like on their own.
It would be, the only way I could think of them doing it.
Like, they'd all be living in different places with their families and or a solo.
Well, what if they all just move to the same neighborhood and then they have like a neighborhood friendly show?
They just all live in like a cul-de-sac in New Jersey.
Yeah, and they're all just going to each other.
houses. Maybe they live on Long Island. It's very possible. They have kids. Ross and Rachel get
divorced. Then they get married again. Then they get divorced again. You know, the whole thing.
Yeah. So I, I'm not actively rooting for it, but I would watch it 100%. Because I think I would think
that maybe they would even go with like a boy meets world, girl meets world vibe. That didn't work out.
I know. But that's, is it about the kids and all the kids are friends and the adults are in it?
But I still think it's got to be centered around the adults. It's got to be centered around the friends.
That's what the show is called Friends
Not kids
There's not even like
Any plot ideas running around
Jennifer Anson just said
If something were to come up
She would do it
I wouldn't hate like
Just maybe like a one hour
Reunion Special
Caleb had a good idea
Like maybe somebody dies
And they all have to go to the funeral
Yeah
I mean that's dark but yeah
Yeah I don't know if I would guess
I wouldn't say
Like one of the core people
But maybe somebody on the outskirts died
And they all went to the funeral
Like Phoebe's other mom
Right.
Like that would just make sense.
Yeah.
Like if there was some outliers, you know, second tier character.
What if it was one of the main characters who would you say would be the one to die first?
Chandler.
Chandler, I would say the same thing and not because of his problems in real life, but maybe because of his problems in real life.
Yeah, I think I'm definitely influenced by the problems in reality.
I think I'm going with Chandler on that one.
I would either say Chandler or Joey in like some weird, bizarre accident.
Freak accent.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah.
I mean, I have to say.
I would watch it.
Oh, I'm sure.
Millions and millions of people.
Not actively rooting.
Ruting against, though.
But it's one of those things that, like, it just ended in such a great way.
Like, do you really want to kind of toss it up again like that?
Yeah.
And then see, you know what?
If people don't like it, then you're just...
It's harnishes.
Putting yourself out there to have somebody not like something.
You don't have to do it.
Right.
When what you had was so perfect for so long.
Big news in the Bravo world.
Lisa Vanderpump.
We love Lisa.
Love Lisa Vanderpump.
But Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa, and like Vanderpump rules, Lisa are two very different Listas.
And now she is done.
She's done being a housewife.
She's done with the show.
And she will not be going, it's like she's not filming the reunion for this season.
Yeah.
So I think, I mean, I feel like we've talked about this before.
But when we were in L.A. and we ran into Lisa Vanderpump.
She was talking to Sheena.
And I love how you just said, I think we've mentioned this before.
We've definitely told this story
a million times.
But I don't think we ever say
like what she actually straight up said.
Yeah.
And now we could like,
we could really say it
because we were like,
yeah, I mean,
it seemed like she was still with it.
She blatantly was just like,
no, I'm not doing it.
Right.
But like I'm gonna pretend like I'm doing.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like I'm gonna keep pretending basically.
Like she was hinting to the fact
that she wasn't gonna do it
but right now I'm just like going with the flow here.
Totally. It's just,
I'm sad that she's not doing the reunion
because the drama with her
was basically so much of the show.
So it's like, what is there?
They're all going to be talking about Lisa anyway,
and she's not even going to be there to discuss.
And honestly, there's no, like, I love Kyle on Beverly Hills.
I don't watch it often, but when I did watch Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle were my favorite parts,
although, you know, they're not friends anymore.
There's nothing pulling me to watch Beverly Hills now that Lisa Vanderpump is not on the show.
And when she's on Vanderpump Rules, where I really like her on Vanderpump Rules.
Yeah.
You know, so I think it's sad for people.
people who do watch Beverly Hills, Housewives, and I would be so...
She's a main part.
She's an OG.
And she's just like, she's done with it and like done with it in a bad way.
Like, not a good split.
Like, it's a very bad split.
A bad split.
And you, it just, it makes me upset, like, after all these years, it was such a bad split.
And you wonder if they're ever going to return back to that.
Not that she'll be on the show, but will they ever be friends again?
Right.
You don't know.
I think I saw something recently that the Kyle and Lisa did run into each other at, like,
some event, obviously bound to happen eventually, and just like, things are just cold as ice.
That just makes me sad because of the friendship that it seemed like they had on the show.
From what we knew of them, it seemed like they had a great friendship, although it seemed like
Lisa Anapump just wants nothing to do.
They always had, they always had, like, they were always such great friends, but they also
always had weird, like, trust issues where, like, Kyle didn't really trust Lisa or Lisa
didn't really trust Kyle and obviously things just exploded with this dog drama and now
it's just so stupid for the reunion the dog drama it's just so stupid like I know it's crazy that
it's like it all like it all right like ending because of that yes like we're really going to do this
yeah so um so at the end at the end of the day we'll keep seeing her on vulture pump rules though
and that's what matters to me because I'll watch vmerep
I don't even, I don't know if Vanderpump Rules has even been renewed.
I mean, I assume it has.
It has to be renewed.
I assume it has.
If they take LVP off Beverly Hills, not take, but she won't be on Beverly Hills.
And then they also don't have Vanderpump Rules.
Yeah.
Well, I also, I actually read something from the cut fairly recently that, like, caught my eye,
because it was like, this is why Vanderpump Rules should end.
And I, I don't know.
The girl had kind of made some good point.
She was like, obviously I'll still watch, however long they go.
But, like, the crazy.
drama and things that made the show so great are just not there anymore. And if it is there,
it's really manufactured. Right. You know? At least do it for their wedding. Do a wedding special.
I want a wedding. Of course. Of course. I mean, Brittany had, it looks like they're in the swing of things
right now. They were all dressed as brides. Yeah, well, this week. Like,
it's soon. Jack's, what was their hashtag? Jack's got it right. It's a good hashtag. That is a good
hashtag. Unless he fucks it up. So don't fuck it up. Yeah, let's hope he gets, keeps right.
Everyone has some hangover routine they swear by, but there's only one the FDA actually agrees with.
Meet Blowfish.
Blowfish is the only hangover product with a formulation that's recognized by the FDA as safe and effective.
No need to plan ahead since hangovers are rarely something we plan for because it works in about 15 minutes.
Fran and I have both used blowfish.
Yeah, we treat blowfish at our desk.
Yes, we do because we come in in in the morning.
For those Friday mornings that maybe we had a little bit of a rough Thursday.
Right.
And they're great.
They really are great.
Exactly.
And now summer Thursday.
Thursdays are happening. So you want to be prepared Friday morning. You get to your desk. You're not
feeling great. All you got to do is grab blowfish. Just drop two blowfish tablets in water and drink
up when the fizzing stops. It's a combination of aspirin and caffeine, but the magic is evervestened.
So it works twice as fast as regular pills and is much, much gentler on your stomach. Plus,
it's got a money back guarantee. Bottom line, no reason not to try it and you should have this in
your medicine cabinet. Why is it named blowfish? Because they tested it and that's the
only name hungover people could remember.
So remember it, Blowfish.
Right now, they're offering our listeners 20% off at 4 hangovers.com slash chicks.
That's 20% off your first order of Blowfish at 4 hangovers.com slash chicks.
Four hangovers.com slash chicks.
All right, we're here with the wonderful Jason Tartick.
How are you doing?
Welcome back.
I am good.
It is good to be back here.
New offices and improve.
this place is. I'm really. I'm impressed. This is a big upgrade from our last place. We were in like a
closet last time. It was great. I was going to say what would you rate the old office compared to
this office? Now you haven't seen the whole thing yet, but you've seen just a quarter of it.
So from what I've seen the last office, I'd probably give it around like a, I mean, I'd do a little
Dave here, 6.2. Yeah. But the character was like a night. Right. Right. There was couches. I saw
booze. It was great. This place is like almost, you know, if you took the Barstle logos away, just from the
quarter at scene, I might, like, this is a nice office.
Yeah, it's legit.
This is swanky. Yeah, I walk into this place and I feel like I should be dressing totally
differently, like just like a complete professional.
Right. Like, I'm like, you guys need to throw a keg in there, a rip couch or something.
Right. I know. Well, we have a bar. We'll bring you the other. Oh, there we're at the back.
Don't worry. Don't worry. Don't worry. We have the fun stuff to. We got like 8,000 TVs in this place.
That's great. So it's a lot of fun. But Jason, we just got to talk about life. Life.
Life, man.
We got to talk about life.
What a year, huh?
I wish we had the clip to play in your ear right now.
We should have set this up, Noah.
We should have.
That was dumb.
Dumb.
Dumb on me.
I literally just remembered it right now.
Okay, Noah will pull it up.
But the last time you were on this show, we talked to you about Caitlin Bristow.
And we said to you, you might not remember.
You might not remember.
Wait, because that was like a long time ago.
Before you guys were dating.
You guys brought her up then?
We brought her up.
And I don't want to take.
but I'm going to take a little bit of credit because we also then after we had you on the show,
we then had Caitlin on the show.
And it was after you guys had done your pod, had done the show together, her podcast together.
And we had asked her like, would you, would you be interested in dating somebody else that's like in the bachelor world?
Like is that something that's off your radar now?
And she was kind of like, never say never, you know.
And we were like, I mean, we don't want to say Jason would be a great.
pick, but like, Jane would be a great pick. Yeah. I only brought you guys a bag of scrunchies. I know
you a shitload more than that. We, I'm telling you, we sat, when we talked to you, we were like
Caitlin Bristow, like, we see it. And then Kate was on the show and we were like, Jason. And then
all of a sudden you got together. And I don't know if you guys have heard this, but we have been
taking a little bit of credit. You know, I was just going to call. I was just going to say, this is bullshit that
you guys haven't got credit. Now that I know it, I mean, we're going to put it up there. I have the
Caitlin clip if you want to hear it. Yeah.
play it.
I don't know if you saw, but Jason did it.
There's some folks that Instagram story.
Yeah.
I did see that.
Yeah, he was doing like an ask anything.
And somebody was like, would you date Caitlin Burstow?
And he was, he didn't answer.
There's just music playing, but he just did like a.
Did you hear the music that was playing?
It was Art Kelly.
Oh my God.
I wish.
I wish.
I wish.
I wish.
I wish.
People are like, are you guys trolling us because we will like be like flirty back
and forth.
But I think that we're so similar with our senses of
humor and we're both like, he reminds me of a Canadian boy.
Like, he kind of reminds me like a Canadian boy.
He's very nice.
Like the Buffalo.
It's like very.
And he can hang and he can like banter.
So I think our banter comes across his flirting.
But then he went ahead and said like, are you flirting with me?
And I basically said yes.
And he said I died and went to heaven.
And I'm like, oh, you're into this.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You're really into me.
Right.
This is okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He went on the show and his destiny was to meet his crush.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Probably.
Oh, my God.
See?
See?
See?
I feel like, I mean, I can say if, when we get married, like, Barstall Sports, that has to be involved.
Right.
This is crazy.
And we're not at the wedding, Jason.
I gave you scrunchies, but that Spade and Sparrow's wine is coming out.
We're going to send a shitload here.
That is awesome.
We'll be drinking at every show if we get that wine.
Oh, my God.
I get teary-eyed.
It was very funny.
We did have, we did have chicks in the office fans who listen to your interview,
listen to Kaylin's interview.
And then when the news came out that you guys were together,
they were, like, DMing it to us like, oh, my God, did you guys see
this like you guys did this. We need to give you guys more credit. That's incredible.
I mean, listen, we're not begging for the credit, but I mean, we'll put it out there.
Holy hell. That's awesome. It's amazing. But we have been so great for you guys.
Yeah. We really do love you guys. Yeah, we really do. That's so sweet. It's been, you know,
what a wild damn journey the last like a year and a half has been, right? Buffalo Boy Banker,
go on this show. I literally have no idea what to expect, get off the show, all this craziness,
head spinning. Not sure what's going to come next. Go on a podcast.
with Caitlin and we just like we're going back and forth and back and forth and actually my buddy
that's out here, Hawk James, and I turned the corner after the podcast. I had whether I called him.
And I literally said, I was like, I just fell in love. I'm going to marry this girl. Seriously,
after. And I was in friend zone for like two months, you know, which is brutal. But we broke
it down. I feel we kind of heard that. Like when we talked to Caitlin, like she was like, he likes me,
but I don't know. A tough girl. Yeah. A story we were like. It's not the friend zone. She's just, you know,
she's in charge here and she's going to make sure you're the right guy she's a badass chick
yeah she is that's for sure i'll tell you that much so you guys um you guys have been doing long
distance for a while but you're traveling a lot has that been really hard so it's it's tough
right i mean you're managing a lot of things and i was in corporate banking and i have all this
craziness of the reality tv and i want to say nonsense whatever the hell it is and then her so we had
a lot of that going on and actually i just moved in last weekend so she lives in Nashville
I just moved to Nashville.
A lot goes into that, right?
There's personal life, there's business life.
You combine the two.
You have to make a decision as one because we knew we wanted to take that next step.
And it's Caitlin's house.
And it's Caitlin's house.
Yeah.
And again, it's a great house.
It's a great house.
She owns it outright.
She doesn't have a mortgage out.
I told you she's a badass.
She really is a badass bitch.
And I always thought I hustled.
This gets old me saying it, but nine years corporate banking, MBA, moved four times to cities.
I didn't know anyone.
This girl hustles a lot harder than I do.
She's impressive.
She does.
And the thing that I'm going to commend her for is, and you guys do it as well, she stays so true to herself.
Right.
While all societal pressures tells you to do everything differently and people judge and there's hate and all the bullshit,
she just stays in the lane of who she is and doesn't care.
And I mean, you guys do it as well.
And there's a lot of power to that.
There is.
There is.
The blueprint.
I agree with that.
And I actually went to home to where my boyfriends from this week, past weekend.
and there were so many girls coming up to me talking about how they saw you were coming on the show.
And they were like, Jason and Caitlin, like, we love Jason and Caitlin.
What are they like in person?
And they were just saying that Caitlin, they started listening to her podcast and just genuinely felt better about themselves.
And they were like, she is just so amazing.
And they couldn't stop raving.
I swear, multiple people came up to me.
Yeah.
So let me ask you a question.
So, you know, some of the stuff you guys talk about is a little controversial, a little
edgy, right? That's the world you live in. With like your boyfriend and his family, do
do they ever give you any pushback for that or do you ever feel any of the like you're
out signing the boundaries of what they would expect? Well, my boyfriend works here. Oh, perfect.
That's perfect. So, yeah, so they get it. That's perfect. My life's a little different because I do,
my boyfriend does not work here. So yes, there are some things because I've never, I've never
him the fact that I'm like my whole life I've been so boy crazy like I love talking about boys boy
bands Justin Bieber the Jonas brothers the whole thing.
By the way I haven't I'm having a happy I would start to interrupt with Tyler today and he's
he wanted me to say hello.
Oh.
Not to detour but keep going.
See, okay.
This is a great example.
This is a great. Tyler's actually the most perfect example.
He, so it's like I'm on Twitter and I still think I'm like I'm 15 year old friend watching
the Bachelorette.
And I'm, like, tweeting about how cute these boys are, like, whatever, never thinking that they'll see it or they know why.
Yep.
And so, Tyler, you know, was coming back and forth with us on Twitter.
And my boyfriend's like, what are you doing?
I'm like, oh, shit, sorry.
I don't know.
Like, he's cute.
Like, I just, I'm talking, I'm tweeting about the show.
I'm sure every girl watching is like, oh, my God, this boy's so cute.
So it's like, they relate to me being like, oh, my God, this boy's so cute.
But then, right.
From his perspective, I'll tell you.
And I have no idea.
idea what happens with him, like, in the show and how things work out.
But from his perspective, he was just like doing his thing, wherever the hell he was doing.
And all of a sudden, people from Barstool Sports are tweeting.
It was like, this is so cool.
I'm going to play into it.
Like, there's no meaning.
But to your point, it's taken very literal.
It seems for us in it, it feels like just playful.
There's no like legitimate meaning behind it.
Well, but to people on that side is like, all right, Fran, like, maybe stop tweeting about how cute the boys on the bachelor.
Pop Sugar did a tweet thread.
Okay.
And it was like, Bachelor fans get super thirsty for Tyler C.
And they just put Franz tweets.
Oh, God, you can't win.
It's like a hoops.
But to come full circle with the question is that.
So I think I come maybe from more of like a traditional conservative family.
And then they enter the world of all this reality stuff.
And then, you know, they see some of the stuff with Gailin and I at all this.
And they're like, what the hell is going on?
But to your point, I have been in airports where people come up to Caitlin.
They literally hug her and they're little crying.
I've heard one girl say, you saved my life.
And I think that's all sparked from the fact that she and you guys and what you guys do is just create organic people and to stop, you know, changing yourselves for other people and just be yourself because the best version of yourself is the best you can be, right?
Right.
So, yeah, that's how I was feeling.
I'm like, I'm not going to, like, this is how I'm feeling in this moment.
I'm going to talk about it.
And it's the same thing.
Obviously, even just working at barstool, at first, our families were like, okay, all right, this is happening.
There's a lot going on.
They're so used to it now.
But at the beginning, it was, it was definitely the same kind of thing.
Like, wow, you're really putting yourself out there.
And now they join in on the banter.
Yeah, now they can't wait.
I get the same thing.
My mom would be like, oh, you're going to Barstow?
I'm like, you care about Barstow?
Yeah, that's amazing.
That's awesome.
What was it like the initial conversation, obviously?
Because, you know, when you're moving in with somebody for the first time, it's a, it's a hard conversation.
What was that like?
I mean, it's a big one.
But we got to a point we're just, we're traveling so much and we're doing
so so much stuff's going on.
I think it was just up front saying, like, what's next for us?
And we were both, what's nice, we're both on the same page.
Like, we're serious about this and we want the next step, which is marriage.
And then you've got to take a couple steps back and say, well, can we live together, right?
So, and then we had sacrifice.
Like, I had a nine-year career.
It was going really well.
And here's a, I'm going to pump her tires.
Even, man, I'm pumping her tires.
She owes me for this.
She's got to come on this show.
Yeah, seriously.
It's crazy.
But another, and I talked about this earlier today, but you live in, 2019 is a great world.
Because if you have a skill set, you can do whatever you want to do and you can make a ton of money doing it.
And I said, I'm repeating myself, but the whole blueprint model is out the door.
And so I have this MBA and this corporate bank and I got the job, the title, the money, everything I wanted.
And here I am leaving my job to start new ventures, which is exciting.
But for Caitlin, and Caitlin has a high school degree.
And that's not to diminish that she only has a high school degree.
You're looking at two ladies with high school degrees.
Exactly.
That's to promote and endorse that if you have a skill set and you're specialized in something,
don't listen to what people are telling you what to do.
If college isn't the route, don't go spend hundreds of thousands of,
pursue your skill set, pursue your interests, and make your own map instead of someone
creating it for you.
And Caitlin's done just that.
Right.
I mean, we're all on the same page with that.
Like we're two college dropouts.
I mean, I think Caitlin and us, thank you for saying that, by the way, have proven like
just be yourself.
Just be dedicated.
Totally.
Kaelan has all these businesses, everything.
Are you planning on doing anything when you move there?
Yeah.
So actually, I don't talk about often.
I do have two businesses now.
One's a real estate lending business.
Another one's a seed stage investment companies.
So we invest in small companies.
Nice.
You can do that in Nashville.
You can do that in Nashville.
But one thing I'm starting to do is like you have this following that wasn't there before.
How can you make an impact with what you had?
So I thought about my life.
I constantly hit restarts and detours.
And I was always making changes and moving to new cities.
And I think so many people in their 20s are so afraid of not knowing what's next.
And I think it's okay not to know.
So I'm working on this company called Restart.
And I think the premise, and we're still working on it, but we want to pick five pillars,
you know, real estate, personal finance, relationship, career, education,
and find five people out there that are going through a needed change.
They're going through something in their life where they need something to change,
whether it's finances or their house or whatever's going on.
And we were going to get applications that restarted,
Jason Tardick.com. We're going to put it together and then I'm going to get an expert each one of those
fields and we're going to really work with this person over a month to three month period to really
make a difference and tell the full story soup to nuts. So it's something we're working on.
We're doing some fundraising to kind of put that in place right now, but it's like my main project
that I'm kind of excited about with these other small. Yeah, yeah. I mean, that sounds amazing.
That's really cool. Yeah, that is really cool. It almost sounds like it could be like a television
show. I was going to say, are you going to film it. It's funny because we had the idea I pitched the first thing,
Caitlin said, is this TV?
And I was thinking more like podcast line, maybe YouTube, but still TVD.
Yeah.
Well, I don't know.
We'll see.
Yeah, maybe YouTube.
We could do.
We'll see.
Maybe YouTube.
You never know we could do.
They're like the fellow Bachelor Nation squad like Ashley and Jared and Jade and Tanner
have been doing their little their YouTube show that we're watching what now.
That's great that I personally hope a network picks up.
So that it can be on, that it can be on, you know, whatever streaming service or something.
Yeah.
What's that we're saying?
Like, they just did it.
They were like, we, they put it out there and they were so open about it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We hope this gets picked up.
Like, we need a lot of people to watch it.
To watch it.
Please go watch it because we need a lot of people to watch it.
I love how open they are with that.
Yeah.
Would you guys ever do a reality show if they came to you and Caitlin?
I think we would potentially consider it.
Now, she is very guarded.
I never watched her season.
And I'm never going to.
I've heard a lot about it.
I'm not going to watch it.
She's the first season I've ever watched.
Okay.
So she's very guarded, stepping into that.
if she's not producing it on her own, but I know she does have an interest in that.
And I'll tell you there's been some big networks with pretty cool TV shows that have reached out to her to actually host them.
Yeah, that would be great too.
So she's gone through some auditions.
So there's a lot of stuff up in the air.
And it's, again, it's different because I'm so used to this like go eight to five and do all this stuff.
But I was telling the boys earlier, it's so much fun having different projects that you're so motivated by that when you go to bed at night, like you're thinking about what am I doing?
How am I doing it?
How can I actually make a difference?
is opposed to like clocking out and being done.
Yeah.
So we'll see.
The opportunities are endless.
They are.
And you're moving into, you're moving in, you're moved.
You're there.
You're in the house.
How has it been?
Did you have to, was the house saged?
Like all, oh, memories of an X I won't name out of the house.
Great question.
She's a big sage, like girl like that.
Oh, it was saged.
It's my understanding.
There were like rituals and shit.
Like, I don't know what was going.
I see like crystals and shit.
I'm like, what's going on here?
I'm not going to ask questions.
It's refreshed.
And we're actually redoing the whole thing.
I mean, that's going to be fun.
And the big, the big news.
Dog.
The dog.
Ramen.
We got to talk about ramen because Fran has a fantastic story.
Okay.
All right, let's hear it.
Okay, so I started following Bunny's Buddies,
the organization that helped you guys get this, that rescues these dogs.
And I don't know if it was because Caitlin posted about it or Colton posted about it.
somebody from the bachelor world had posted about it, but I didn't really, I didn't realize
that there was a connection between like you and Kaelin getting a dog. This was like the end
of April. It was like the first time they posted about ramen. They posted a picture. He was so
cute. And, you know, the whole thing like he needs hip surgery and we're fundraising, whatever.
So like, I was like, oh my God. So I obviously they take vet. They take donations. They take
Venmo everything. So I've Venmoed $20 and wrote four romit.
Come on.
And I'll show you.
There's so many ties here.
It was so funny because then I was like, oh my God.
I didn't remember because I think I was a little tipsy.
It was like a Friday night.
Cheers.
And I was like, and I saw the picture of this dog and was like, oh, my God, I have to do this
because this dog is too cute.
And then I saw that you guys were adopting it.
It was amazing.
How fun is that?
So many ties.
Also, Fran makes me look bad because I didn't Venmo 20 bucks.
but wow no way yeah you screenshot this and said it to me that's unbelievable you're like predicting
my future what's next like seriously what is going on here very weirdly connected i was like wow it says
four romay yeah it says what was the date on that april 26 get out of here yeah so till katelyn that same
night too was tipsy yeah and that's when she told me the full story see we both saw this dog at
the same time oh yeah and i'm see she's about to venmo and i see how much i'm like what
the hell are you doing?
Yeah, yeah.
No, you're not sending that much.
That's my job in the relationship.
Right, right.
Back it down.
So she made a donation too.
Yeah.
So that's how she kind of got attached to Ram and then full circle.
And then I also got Colton calling me up nonstop.
Because I was the one, you know, I'm practical.
She's more emotional gut.
And I'm like, does it make sense?
I'm just moving in.
Because you guys have wanted.
We knew we wanted that.
It seems like you've been wanting a dog for a while.
It was just timing.
Yeah.
So Colton called me, pushed me over the ledge, well, with a bunch of other people.
and Caitlin. And then I got the call from Caitlin. We lose this dog. You and I have, we're going to have
to talk. I was like, all right, well, let's get that damn dog. Yeah, he eat this dog. Wow. Almost a dog ultimatum.
I love it. So we named Colton the godfather. Colton's the Godfather. What's that relationship like with
Colton Cassie? Yeah. So we had, Caitlin had a podcast in Aspen. They came out to Aspen, which was great.
We got to hang out with them. And what's interesting is, you know, Caitlin.
And I obviously, there's some controversy, you know, she had an ex in the, in the franchise.
And people have comments on that.
And obviously I'm from it.
So everyone's got something to say.
And Colton, too, with Cassie, right?
There's a lot of, you know, conflict and controversial discussions there.
The fence jump.
Was he under her?
Was she in her?
The list goes on.
So we kind of like shared this like mutual bond.
And the one who has the most experience of everyone.
And this is Caitlin.
So we sat up to like 4.30 in the morning.
And let me tell you, Colton, that boy doesn't go to sleep, literally, after 9 p.m.
So I credit him.
And then Cassie was great.
We had caramel.
It was like caramel salted whiskey.
And she's like, hell yeah, let's go.
She was pouring drinks of it.
She literally like, between her and Caitlin, they just crushed the whole while.
So we were all hammered, like pouring our hearts out to each other.
But you know what?
They have a great relationship.
Obviously, it's a lot.
Like, you know, everyone's got eyes on you.
Everyone's got opinions on you.
one thing is said and you know a parent will call saying they heard something so it was just a lot of like share we were skeptical yeah we were skeptical yeah what do you guys think now
I mean at this point I'm like they seem very happy they seem happy like that's the thing like when watching the show it's it's obviously months before you don't know what life has been like for them since the show ended sure so you end when the finale airs you have an opinion about the couple sure but then you see them and you're like okay this is how they've been for X amount of months and now
Now it's been so much time now has passed.
They're still together.
They seem to be very happy.
So it's like the strong opinions that I held like when the show ended.
Now I'm like, whatever.
I'm like, okay, they're happy.
When it ended, I was like, I don't know.
I don't know if Cassie really likes him that much.
But then, you know, you see them be so happy.
You're like, well, clearly it's working.
And I mean, not to keep pumping you and Kailen's tires.
But when you see them hanging out with you guys and you guys are so real
and we know that, then you're like, oh, they're real.
You put two and two together, and you're not going to hang out with them if they were not
these great people.
Right, exactly.
And they're also a little, you know, I don't want to say anything age has correlation
to what you're doing, but they're a little younger, right?
And I still, I get Caitlin in my ear all the time, stop being so fucking politically correct.
Lucien up, either Jason, I know, I'm like, okay, you're right.
I do have to do that.
Yeah.
What do you guys think so far this season?
So this season, first of all, we love Hannah.
We love Hannah.
She's great.
Let me tell you.
We did not like Hannah as the Bachelorette pick.
We didn't.
We didn't like it.
We really didn't pick it.
We've done a complete flip.
We've done a complete flip.
We interviewed her.
She was so sweet.
Just so, so sweet.
And she's like a badass.
Yeah, she's totally.
Total badass.
She holds her own.
She takes control.
She doesn't take shit from any of the guys.
And the guys on the show, which at first I was like, eh, I don't know.
I mean, there's so many great ones now.
Yeah.
She got a can't stand.
She got a great.
batch of guys.
She did.
Between.
Specifically.
Top dogs.
Who you got?
Obviously, Tyler.
That dude is the, literally, I was on
Stray and Sarah on Monday and I go, I'm straight as an arrow, but that dude is just
a stunt.
I think he's the best looking guy ever to be on the show.
That guy's a stud.
Ria said, like, for the first time, she's like, I've never felt like a connection to
one of these guys on these shows.
She actually mentioned you.
Yeah.
She's like, that's high face.
Tyler St.
Great people's like, but Tyler, like something about him.
He just seems like a genuine, you watch the show and you see all these guys.
And I, you know, Fran had to like get me into watching The Bachelor and Bachelorette.
And then when I started watching it, I was like, this is a good show.
But then I'd watch some of the guys.
And I'm like, there's nobody really genuine.
But I said it about you, you were super genuine.
And I see it with Tyler.
I'm like, he's such a genuine person.
Good dude.
Right.
And so we love him.
We love Mike.
Mike's the man.
I love Mike.
I call Mike the John Snow of The Bachelor.
Yeah.
Like he's just like sticking at Luke P.
No one will step up to him.
He's like, Luke P, you got an issue?
I'll tell.
Why are you picking on the week?
You come to me.
Right.
Like this guy's the cat.
Put a C on his chest.
Charlie Conway, that guy's the man.
Yeah.
I like him.
I love Mike too because you're right.
Luke P.
Just the worst.
And nobody's like sticking up to him.
He thinks he's the macho man.
And Mike just.
But there's really so many.
Garrett, we like a lot.
Garrett's a good.
Connors are good guy.
Pilot Pete love like loves Hannah so much.
It feels like Connor seems like a cool.
And they're all really young.
Like a lot of them are my age.
Like a lot of them are 24 years old.
It's crazy.
They've definitely taken a turn, right?
Yeah.
It keeps getting young.
Now when you have the bachelor and the bachelorette be so young,
you just get a batch of younger people,
which just makes every season younger and younger.
And Hannah's young too.
Hannah's so young. Hannah's our age.
So it's kind of crazy.
I think she's doing a great job.
I think she's doing a really good job.
The guys at first I was like, eh, but then like you start to, again, you get to know them more and get their personality.
I'm like, mad, she has.
She might have like the best group of guys in a long time.
They really are.
Like, I always think of who my top four or five that I really like.
And I'm like, she, I think she would be happy with any of these guys.
Sure.
And I think about it, this is not like, it's a guy watching.
I'm like, which one of these guys would I want to get a beer with?
Right.
It's a pretty long, like Jed's a good dude.
I'd want to get a beer with that guy.
Tyler's a good guy.
Connor seems like a good guy.
Pete seems like a good guy.
Mike.
Now, what did you think about Jed?
Did you see Jed's tell her that he came on the show for his music, but now he likes her?
So here's what he's so bold strategy.
Bold strategy.
But what I'm going to give him is like at least he got ahead of it.
Like he was proactive about a very touchy thing.
He did because let me tell you.
I think of honest.
People like reached out to us because we'll, we talk about the show so much.
There's people who will DM us and be like, I heard this, I heard that.
And we had gotten girls being like, I don't know if Jed's there for the right reasons.
Like he's a musician from Nashville.
I think he's trying to, like, I've heard whispers that he's there for his career.
And what do you know?
We watch Monday night.
And he's like, I'm here for my career.
Like, this is great for my music.
I'm here for my career.
When have you ever heard somebody on the show just straight up say, yeah, this is what I'm here for?
You never see that.
They always are like, no, no, I'm so here for you.
And it was kind of refreshing to see this.
guy, be like, yeah, I mean, I'm here for my music.
Hell yeah. I think initially you buckle up.
You're like, what did you just do? And then you think about it.
And you're like, wow, kind of give them credit.
Because most people are, I mean, when I walked in the door the first night, that's
a funny thing. Everyone comes back from a background.
Oh, you know, feeling pretty good about walking in, like, confident.
I walk in. I'm the shortest guy in the place. Everyone's like six foot four.
This guy was a Harlem Globetrouter.
Colton's an NFL football player. This guy is this. One guy started Venmo for God
sakes. I'm like, what the hell? This is ridiculous.
So, I don't know, it's interesting.
It is, it is.
And I was kind of surprised that Hannah just like, was like, okay, like, I get it.
Like, that's fine.
Gave him the rose, no problem.
Because this is what I said.
I need everybody to be super honest and, like, the show to be honest about it.
Or else it's, like, kind of annoying because the storyline of, oh, he's not here for the right reasons now is kind of a shot.
It's kind of shot.
It's gone.
It's gone.
Now everybody's just admitting that they're there for the wrong reason.
Like if she's going to let Jed stay, who cares about Luke S's tequila company?
Like he's got to stay too now.
Whatever.
And I think whatever.
And I think, whatever. He's probably there.
At the same time, you know, I feel like you can go into a situation thinking, I'm here for this and then end up actually having feelings for the person.
100%.
Like, you never know.
I mean, you're competing against 20 plus guys.
Like, you don't think you're going in there with 100% shot at.
being with this girl, but then you start to get feelings and you realize, okay, I'm here for this
reason now.
It's like a blind date.
Yeah.
I mean, you've seen her in person, but you don't know.
Yeah.
So I actually give him, now, Rachel Lindsay and I kind of went at it because she was like
strictly opposed.
She's like, he was on my season.
He would have been gone right then.
Yeah, Rachel takes no bullshit.
No bullshit.
But either does.
Hannah, right?
And so I thought it was a high risk thing.
Like, he could have been sent home right there.
But at least he was like, I'm just going to put honesty on the table.
So I commend them.
Yeah, definitely.
I said the same thing.
You want to be pissed at first, and then you're like, it is what it is.
How much longer you think Luke P is going to last?
You know, the issue is, and I want to, like, ask a Bachelorette, this,
is that it doesn't seem like she has a damn clue with what's happening with him and the guys, really.
No.
So he's hiding.
He's like this manipulative dude that's just hiding all the noise we see, but I don't think she sees it.
She said she has the strongest feelings for him.
What player are you on?
When I was watching the show,
And she's like, I just can't, I don't know if I could do this with Tyler C.
I'm like, what?
Luke P versus Tyler, we're going to do this right now?
Like that, the viewers are not matching up with you right now.
But take that all aside now.
I'll ask you.
Take it all aside.
You've never, the guy hasn't said a word to you and you're looking at Luke P.
You're probably like, you know, well put together.
He's an attractive guy for sure.
And that's clearly very smooth.
He's smooth with his words.
Yeah, for sure.
But I think he's digging a deep hole.
And when he put that turnaround on Luke S.
When he did the whole like, you know, I'm going to go tell her, well, Luke has told me.
I mean, and that guy was a political consultant.
That guy's in politics and he just got wrapped like a pretzel.
Like, holy shit.
I mean, the battle between the two of them, at this point, I don't know who goes home.
Because she has the strongest feelings for Luke P.
I was saying, like, all the guys are so great.
Luke P's got to stay for a couple more weeks so that everybody can be angry.
Right.
That's a thing.
If he goes, I don't know, something else will obviously happen.
But, like, all the other guys I like so much.
You don't see a villain.
Yeah, I don't see a villain.
We actually had that, not an issue, but we didn't really have a villain.
Like, Jordan.
Yeah.
He was like the villain.
He was hilarious.
He was funny.
He was very, like, Demi-esque.
People hated Demi, but Demi was so funny.
Demi was so funny, too.
And so now we're throwing around a lot of names that are going to be in paradise.
Yeah, totally.
I mean, that's going to paradise issue.
Paradise.
It's going to be nuts.
Are you so.
happy you found somebody not on parent. That's also in Bachelor Nation, but you didn't have to go on the
show. I mean, literally. So in September at I Heart Radio, I had an interview with Lauren Zima and I was like,
I hope so badly that I find a relationship before things. I, like, that's craziness. And it'll be good.
I mean, it'll be great. And a lot of people that I care about will either, you know, find love or get hurt.
The number one guy, obviously, Blake is my, Blake's my main man. So I'm just like, you know,
they're gone. I believe they're filming. So I'm just like thinking about it. How's he doing? Who's he going?
but in a perfect world, I think I'd like to see him with Hanna G.
Hanna G.
I was going to say that.
Or Tasha.
Or Tisha.
I really like Tasia.
Yeah.
Tisha seems awesome, too.
I agree.
We'll see.
I hopefully we'll get a couple matches.
I think we will because the Paradise track record's been so great these days.
Like Raven and Adam just got engaged.
Like all these couples are, Joe and Kendall live together and Goose and Crystal.
Like everybody's still together.
It's crazy.
Yeah.
Have you guys met Adam and Raven or no?
No.
You guys would love them.
They are real people.
They are so much fun.
They're a blast.
Yeah.
I always like the ones that have kind of, they stay in the circle,
but they have their own life in their city and like do their own thing and have
their job.
And it's great to see.
Yeah.
You got to enjoy the foundation of build and you kind of got to build your own thing.
But you don't have to do it.
You found it already in Nashville.
There we go.
Nashville.
If you told me Buffalo boys, it's going to be a national type.
Hell no.
But here we go.
It's a beautiful, new chapter.
Beautiful love story.
Oh, that's awesome.
I appreciate all your support.
Of course.
Thank you for joining us.
This has been a blast.
And now we're going to have Caitlin back on the show.
And you two together.
Preferably you guys together.
And bring ramen.
We would love to bring ramen.
Thank you guys for setting us up.
And thank you for donating to ramen.
We appreciate it.
And thank you for the scrunchies.
Absolutely.
It's so much fun here.
This is fantastic.
Well, that wraps up today's episode.
We hope you have a fantastic week.
Just a reminder.
