Fran, how are you doing on this lovely Sunday afternoon while we're recording? I am, I'm feeling good. It's another week. I'm excited to start this week. I feel like we are in a good place. I know if you saw that Governor Cuomo tweeted

that he does think we are on the other side of the peak now. Everybody still has to continue to stay inside and listen to instruction, but hopefully the worst is over. I hope as long as people still listen to staying inside because if everyone just runs wild again, then who knows what could happen. But that was nice to hear. And I'm feeling good, feeling good. That's great to hear. That's positive news. How are you, Rhea? I'm good. I'm good, I would say. I had like a bad day Saturday morning. I just, I was like, you know what? I fucking, I can't take

the internet right now. Like, I just need to shut off my phone for hours. And that's what I did. I woke up at noon, of course. It was, you know, it's Saturday. No, but I was proud of you because I did, I sent a text to you on Saturday about how I was bored and was buying skincare stuff on Macy's, obviously. And it didn't go through. Like there was no delivered. Like it was just, it was floating in air. And I was like, wow, I think Ria turned her phone off. I'm so happy for her.

Yeah, I shut it off for like six hours because I was just like, you know what? because I was having all of these really sad thoughts when I woke up Saturday morning, which just is none of them are true. And I don't even really want to get into it a little bit, but I'll just, I'll just brief on it. I feel like quarantine is making people meaner on the internet than they already were. Like, I just feel like people were already pretty mean sometimes, but, you know, tons of nice people as well. I think people are getting a little crazier because they're

stuck inside. They're bored. They feel like they have nothing to do. They're jealous of other people, they're staring at their phones. And people are becoming meaner. And something I'm seeing more, and it's easier to like brush off guys who are mean because you're like, oh, that's just a stupid guy. But like when you start seeing girls being mean to you, that's, I think it hits me a little bit more because I'm like, because with girls, they're just like a bit cattier. And it had been seeing it more often. And it's something like with something TikTok is bringing out of people is like pure hatred, pure hatred for me. And that's fine because I'm going to continue to do it. Um, but I was just thinking to myself, I'm like, if these, if these girls hate me and they listen to the show, why am I going

to do this show? Why am I going to make anything? Like, what, what's the point of even putting myself out there if all these girls hate me and they hate what I do? Um, and then I, you know, it's, it's weird because you always got like a message at the time where you need it the most. And I saw a really, a a really deep message from a girl who messaged me, which is really sad. And my thoughts are with her and her family, but she had said that her brother had passed away recently and that her dad was not really eating and just whatever, you know, just obviously feeling very upset, but that she had made my meatball and sauce recipe and then finally her dad ate a full meal. And to me, that like put things in perspective where it's like, okay, not

every single person on the internet hates me. There are plenty that also. also, you know, appreciate and like me. And if I can just make one person like that feel good, then that's all that matters. If I can just make one person feel good, I'm going to keep doing this. You know what I mean? I would never actually stop, but you get those, you get in those mindsets where you're like, what is this? So I should have.

I do think that a lot of, it's tough because I think everybody that listens does, not feel that way about you. I think girls or guys or whatever who maybe just see your social and decide to be mean for for no reason don't know anything about you, you know? Like I just it's it's harder I don't know people are just I feel like mean or two when they literally know nothing about the person they're being mean about. They just see like their stuff online. Right. And I feel like it's pretty, you know, I don't blame people for looking at my stuff and being like, oh, Ria looks like she's into herself. Like, yeah, of course I'm into myself a little bit. I talk in a podcast for a living and that I people need, you know what I mean? Like, yeah, I feel like if you do our job, of course, you're going to be into yourself a little bit because it takes being into yourself a little bit to put yourself out there and like create content and like not even, it's just about having confidence. But I think it's easy like it's easy to say that. that, but in my head, like, I know who I am as a person and I get aggravated where I'm like, oh, I just wish this person knew me as a person and, like, knew where my heart is because I just,

like, want the best for everybody and, like, I try to be nice to everybody and sometimes it's hard. But then I, you know, I just was like, this is, I shut my phone off. I was like, that is just so stupid to think that way. Like, I love all of our listeners. And I get so many positive comments that I don't even want to pay any attention to the mean comments anymore because I just want to appreciate. all the nice people who listen to our podcast because there's tons, tons of them. I see it all the time and I just want them to know that I really, really appreciate them because they're so nice to us,

Fran. They're like, queens. We love you guys. I know. And it's like what everybody says that, you know, there could be all these nice comments and one mean one and you worry about the mean one when you should be, like, you should just be grateful for all the really nice ones. It's just, It's really, it is obviously easier said than done when people say, you know, oh, pay attention to the positive. Don't look at the negative. But it is hard. But I think, honestly, Ria, that there is a community of women, especially those who listen to our show, who love you for the way that you are. And you don't have to worry about that because you are funny and beautiful.

And you should keep TikTok as much as you fucking want to. You know what, Fran? Thank you. Obviously, I feel the same way about you. You are also funny and beautiful. And we must remember these things so that people do not take us down. But one of the things that actually, you know, turned my mood completely around. I'm on cloud nine.

Yes. The show Outer Banks. This show changed my life. And that's putting it lightly. I'm not kidding. It is my favorite show now completely. Yeah. You don't even have to ask me any more questions. 100% my favorite show. I told Fran she has to watch it. I'll be watching.

We won't recap until Fran watches it. But I will say that I would 100%, no questions asked, take a bullet for John B. 100% I would die for that man. You ask me any day, any time I would just lay it all on the line. If he needed me too, I would. Now, I'm talking about the character in the show. If we're in the show, and John B in the show needs me to die for him, count me in. Would love to.

It would be my absolute honor. I am already, I'm already dedicated. I haven't even watched yet. I'm already dedicated because all you needed to tell me was that there was a male lead character that just had this effect on you. And I was already sold. doesn't matter. So I will obviously be watching.

I think we can say that we have like two maybe like TV homework assignments for our listeners. We've had a ton of people talk to us about Too Hot to Handle. We're definitely going to be talking about that. So I think between Too Hot to Handle and Outer Banks, those are two things that everybody has got to get on their list. Everybody has got to watch because we're going to discuss both of them. will probably do too hot to handle on Thursday and then Outer Banks after that.

So make sure that you watch both. I feel like I'm like a teacher. You must watch both. It's homework. But I would like to add something cheesy. And I would like to, you know, embarrass myself a little bit. John B., in the show, he wears a lot of shirts from the company Duven. And I also wear clothes from Dubin.

they are kind enough to send them to me a shout out to doven friends with Hank and they have been sending stuff to the office to multiple people work there and um I've been wearing a lot of their clothes like on the group chat and people ask me oh where did you get that and uh they sent me a bunch of stuff recently now John B wears all of their clothes in the show and I noticed it I was like oh my God he's wearing duvin and then hang texted the guy and was like oh my god dovin in the show and he was like yeah this kid you know he is he would wear our clothes and then he said that i'm going to be in the show i'm going to wear the duven stuff and the shirt that i'm currently wearing is from duven and you pointed out earlier and you're like that's a cool shirt and i am wearing it in honor of john b today

that's very nice that's very nice see i would have been probably on top of this the show as soon as you had texted me about it. But the only problem was literally I spent all weekend reading Jessica Simpson's book. Like I finished it today. It was so good. Like, and I loved it. And like, I have to finish this book before I start anything else. So now I finished it.

So now I can move back to television. But the book was fantastic. I highly recommend. I feel like I was just at the age. where I missed, like, I knew what was going on in Jessica Simpson's life, but, like, obviously, I wasn't invested. I was, like, nine years old. So I didn't really know totally what was going on,

like, especially the early days of her and Nick. But it was a great, great memoir. Like, just the, just, she's had a crazy life and has been through a lot and dated some crazy people and has a billion, like, has a billion dollar company that people like don't even realize, I feel like. And it was, it was fantastic. There's a lot more about John Mayer in there than, um, then was advertised. I know like the John Mayer clips were used as PR clips and whatnot. But the whole thing is very interesting. I'm definitely going to read it because I feel like I need to read a little bit more,

uh, instead of watching a lot of TV staring at my screen. Sorry to keep talking about John B, but I would like to add that. Um, this book that I read about a year or two ago called One of Us is Lying. I wanted it to be a TV show. I remember talking about it. I was like, I read this book. I think it would be a great TV show. Found out he's starring in it.

Like the stars are aligning and this cast, they just need to come on the podcast. I'm sorry. It's really all I can think about. And I just can't wait for you to watch it so that we played Mario Car last night and I had to stop. Because I was like, I can now continue to race any long. because I need to continue watching the show. I would die for these people. I cannot express that enough.

I truly feel that this way about it. And I am totally going to watch. You know what sucks? Because I feel like this is definitely because we have been separated from each other for so long, is that we're just like doing different things at different times. And then like we both are, we both get to it eventually of us doing these things,

but they're just happening at different times because we're not actually seeing each other face to face. But no, I will definitely be watching. I told you, like, I had Googled it as soon as you texted me about it because I didn't even know what it was. And a Yahoo article came out that described it as Riverdale meets... Riverdale meets O.C. meets Gossip Girl. And I was like, I'm sold.

I'm sold. Yeah, I would say it's like one tree hill, the OC meets National Treasure, meets Riverdale meets, you meets. It's just, it has, fucking, has it all. Everything. And I could, I could literally start crying about my passion for this cast. My God. Everybody was cast so perfectly. And I am so drawn into these people's lives and I got to stop myself because it's going to get it's going to get creepy if I keep talking. I fucking love this show. Well, let's say that they get a second season. I might put in my bio that I would die for John B. Like I've been workshopping that. If Hank allowed me, I would hang up posters of the cast in our apartment. That's how deep I am. Yeah. All right. All right.

I'm going to have to obviously watch and then get to this level because you did text me. that he has topped, he's topped everyone. He's on the top of the list. Number one. It's really not even close at this point in time. Yeah. Okay. So like you said, and you were kind of like, eh, but like, Fran, you're going to, I haven't watched the show. You haven't watched the show. And within one episode, you, I might get jealous. Like, we might start fighting if you start feeling the same way. Like, I don't know. We've never had this before, but. I might... Fictional character.

Literally. Like this is... Which is also funny about it because it's like not even the actor. It's the character. No, it's not even the show's character. It's the fucking character. Like I... And you know what? I'll change this.

It won't be jealousy. It will be just pure joy and excitement that you two would be on the team to die for him. Okay. Like we could die for him together. Amazing. Just perfect. I haven't felt this strongly about a character in... I don't know years.

Like I don't. Okay. All right. Look, you are pumping it up where I'm very excited to watch. And like I said, everybody put this on your list, Outer Banks and Too Hot to Handel. We're going to be doing it. I know everybody. I've seen a lot of people binging Too Hot to Handel this weekend.

And also we're going to talk about the Disney family sing-along, both in the same kind of, same kind of just. Ellen DeGeneres, guys, we got to talk about her. I know some of you are going to be pissed. Sweet old Ellen, sweet old Ellen. No, is excited about this one. Not so sweet Ellen. We also have our feel good segment, of course. And we also have Ellie,

aka Ellie Schnitt. You guys probably know her. She also works at Barcelona with us. She has her podcast Snit Talk. She is the Twitter queen. Holy Schnit. So that was a lot of fun. We did a Q&A with the three of us, which was great. The questions people asked us we answered. So let's get into it, starting off with the Demi Lovato is Over Party, which we don't agree with yet. So on Friday, the number one trending topic on Twitter was hashtag Demi Lovato was over party. once again, it's another celebrity being canceled for who knows what reason. These pop up all the time, and most of the time, if you click on it, it is just stands. A lot of time it's just K-pop stands, just using the hashtag to promote the artists that they love.

But this time, it seems like a targeted attack. Now, I might be a little biased. I might be a little biased because I do love Demi, but basically, Selena Stans claimed to have found Demi Lovato's Finsta, her fake Instagram account. They got a screenshot of her on live with her boyfriend and a friend, and she was on the fake Instagram account, I guess, because it said, you know, trauma queen forever with blah, blah, blah. And so they were like, oh, my God, this is Demi's Finsta, trauma queen forever. And then...

Forever. for Eva, there were screenshots of her alleged Finsta. And it basically was a ton of posts shading Selena and shading Nicki Minaj and just like basically her talk. I don't know. It was very far fast. It was like, you know, her song being number one and being like, yeah, my song's number one. and there was like six posts about it, I would say, of screenshots. And these posts were being retweeted nonstop,

which is really why this was trending so, so quickly. And all the Selena stands were like, Demi's over, Demi's over. She's talking shit about Selena. And it's just, it's insane to me. And I'm, I don't know for sure, but like I'm 99. 9% positive that those were just all fake. So I'm also confused because how do we figure out if these are real or fake? I think they're fake because Demi Lovato hasn't addressed it.

And it's really hard to tell, but I just don't think Demi Lovato would be as mean as these screenshots are. Do you want to go through some of the screenshots so people know what we're talking about? Yeah. And it's not, it's also like not even that as much as just, um, posting those online. I don't know. I just feel like you've got to really be not smart to like be doing that on Instagram even with a private account. Um, so some of them were like her album being, her song being number one and she were like number one baby. Ah, and then somebody commented like, you didn't have to go to Walmart to buy her own copies. That's what I'm talking about.

And she like replied back, ha ha, savage. Um, there's a screen. of her excerpt from the Harper's Bazaar interview where she talked about Selena and the Jonas brothers and Miley and with the caption, ha ha ha ha, like, oops, I really did try to keep my fucking mouse shut, I swear, with like all these laughing cry emojis. There's one with like a Selena. It's an old picture of her holding the cover of a people magazine with Selena and Demi on the cover. You can call me Petty LaBelle. She made the caption. And then there was a picture of her, Selena, Nikki, that was photoshopped, I guess, and she had wrote, and this would never happen. So it's just, I don't know, guys.

I think that this was totally docs. Now, there's all these, then there's, like, screenshots of Selena Stan accounts being like, oh, my God, everybody believes my edit. Ha, ha, ha, like, can't believe, like, it's going vile right now. And then, like, those Twitter accounts disappear. Like, if you, like, look at it, they're gone. And then it was weird because I was, I was refreshing it so often on Friday. And I had clicked on, like I had looked at the Instagram account actually on Instagram.

And it did exist. And then as this was all going on, the name changed to like dolphins something, something. I just remember dolphin was in the name. And it had followers on the account and then followers were like dropping. so it seemed like she was deleting all of her followers and then posts started being deleted but then I kept refreshing the Instagram and it just said like user not found

so maybe the Instagram was just wiped completely and then they claimed that Demi turned off the comments on her real Instagram so that doesn't help but I also think like when you're no matter what even if it is fake if you're the number one trending topic on Twitter

for like something crazy like this, you just turn all of your social media off. I don't know. I'm still confused. But I do think that maybe the Instagram was real. Like that was her real personal fintzda, whatever. But that the posts were photoshopped. I agree with you on that.

I feel like it's, I mean, it's obvious that that's her Instagram because she was using it. to go on live. But how would other people see these things unless they hacked into it? So, which is why I think it's Photoshop. And I also just knowing Demi Lovado as a person, I mean, we don't know her personally, but seeing Demi Lovato the way she acts, I feel like some of this stuff would just be way too petty for it to be Demi Lovato. Now, listen, maybe she does have some pure hatred for Selena Gomez that she did take it out on her personal, on her fin step. That could totally be a possibility. But I feel like the posts were extreme in a way that she has the self-awareness and is smart enough to know that this may leak somehow I am not going to post these things.

Yeah. So for right now, I think it's fake. Unless she comes out and says, hey, yeah, I did this. You know, I feel really bad and ashamed of myself. Then I'm going to go with that these are photoshopped because you could literally Photoshop anything on the internet and make somebody seem like they said something when they didn't. and it becomes a problem. And that's something I hate about social media in general is just sometimes not knowing if things are real or fake

because of just Blaine Photoshop. And also like these, some of these Twitter, like Stan accounts that are like chart accounts just want their Twitter account to be retweeted. So like, you know, they want to go viral. That's like they want that attention. They want more followers.

So like you Photoshop something like that and then have a billion people retweet it and all of a sudden, like, your account's getting so much attention. So it is pretty crazy. Her friend Matt, who is she obviously is very close with, who, like, he had responded to a tweet that was like, here's why Demi the Botto is over party is trending. And an article, and he had replied to it saying,

wait, what, this is fake. So he piped in this to say it was fake. Obviously, Demi hasn't said anything. but it's just crazy to me. Like, I don't know. Some of these people don't have souls. I just feel like they're not real people. Like, I just kind of, I can't imagine these people being real.

Like, even if the account was real, and those were her real posts, to go after someone so viciously and like so hard when, like, so hard when you know, that that person has dealt with so many issues before and just like are taking the tearing them down like that and while this was going on so many people were also posting that video of selina from her instagram live remember that time when she was like everybody be nice like i see like they're like and people were like can selina fans actually listen to selina like she wants everybody to be nice but then you have these stand accounts that were like we're saying what she can never say because we're standing up for her.

Like, what is wrong with these people? I genuinely can't figure out what is wrong with a lot of stand accounts sometimes. I'm like, what possesses you to, first of all, you know, I understand making an account to, you know, you're a big fan of somebody and like a friend, if you made a Jonas Bellars account because you're a big fan of Jonas Bellers. But you only posted positive things and you just wanted people to like root for the Jonas builders. I get that.

I don't understand when people feel. they need to like come into extreme defense for people like that there isn't even a problem. They don't even know if there's a real problem. And then they also just make things up like the screenshots, perhaps. I also think it's a lot of young kids who, you know, they're, they don't see the effects of what they're doing yet. Because I would hope older people would understand. I mean, not really because we get like old. people all the time being mean on Twitter. But I feel like Stan accounts in general are probably the

younger people. And I don't think they understand the magnitude of like what they're saying and how it affects these celebrities because they're not even, they're not even real people to them. Really. Yeah. They idolize them so much. Yeah. They idolize them so much that they have now become like a god to them where it's not even real life anymore. Because they, they, they, they, they're like, oh, there's no chance I'll ever be with these people in real life. So there's no possible way. They're real. They are real.

They're not understanding, like, the consequences. Yeah, totally. We have had two live events on TV that have been, you know, at home concerts. We had the Disney family sing-along and the Global Citizen together at home concert that Lady Gaga put together. And both of them were fantastic. I thought the Disney family singing along was. super fun. There was a surprise Beyonce appearance, which was amazing and slightly terrifying at the same time. She just recorded herself really close to her face. Like it was just really close.

And she was singing when you wish upon a star, which is a great song. But like when it's that close to your face and she's like, when you wish. And you're like kind of feel like you're being hypnotized sort of, um, is kind of how I felt during that. But I thought it was really cute, good dancing, obviously the high school musical reunion at the end, um, with Zach Efron, which, you know, we all know how that ended. No peace on. No peace on. No peace sign. I just have a strong feeling. I just, I need to know where he is. I talk to you about this, like I still really want to know where he is. Why was it so hard to get a hold of him?

Why could he record that video message, but not record himself singing for three seconds? Like, there were so many people that were in the, We're All in this Together song that like, you didn't really have to contribute that much to be in it. Like, she could have sang one, like two words and they could have put him in. the quality was horrific. Like, where was he that that was the best he could do? I need to know. Listen, I don't have the answers for you. I know. And I'll be honest to the crowd.

I didn't watch any of this. And I feel like a complete liar sitting here being like, yeah, I loved it. When I, I truthfully didn't watch it. So I'm, you know, like, I'm just, you know, Fran, give all the opinions you want on it. Yeah, okay. I, truthfully, I know that it was probably awesome. And I should have watched it. And I apologize for not watching it. You miss the high school musical, the musical, the series cast is in it too. I know, I know people are going to be upset with me.

They're going to be like, Rhea, you should have watched it. We were all watching it together. And you know what? Hand up. I'm sorry. And I take the fall. I didn't watch it. But yeah, that's, you know what?

That's okay. I watched it for the both of us. I did enjoy it. And it was like a good because it was one hour. It like wasn't too long. That was the Disney sing-along. Together at home was different because this was put together by Lady Gaga. It was a whole big special.

It was two hours. I mean, it went even longer. There were so many more people that performed that were like not in the version that was on TV that you can watch online. And it's, I thought it was. was entertaining. There was great, like, you had the Rolling Stones, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, Elton John, I, I would never say a bad word about Elton John. Watch your fucking mouth, friend. What are you about to say about him? He sang, I'm still

standing. He, he, he did not sing it. He screamed it into the microphone. And it was, it was, it was kind of tough. And like I said, it's Ellen Jones, so the man can do no wrong. I don't want to let you say this, but I mean, but like I got so excited. No, I got so excited when I started to hear like the song he was saying. I was like, yes, I'm still standing. I, you know, everyone knows how much we love this song. And I was just like, oh, oh, no. But it was, yeah, it was kind of, it was kind of tough. J. Lo sang a Barbara Streisand song, people. And, I, another person, love J-Lo, but there's no way she was singing either. Like, that was completely lip-sinked. And I could not believe that people on Twitter were like, wow, J-Lo, the best she ever sounded. Like, I was like, yeah, because she fucking recorded it somewhere else and got it fixed and then lip-synced it outside. Like, there was no way, like, it was, you could tell so clearly when the people who were actually singing live, like singing in their rooms were singing, and ones that was kind of produced.

Camilla and Sean sang, what a wonderful world. And I have to read this text because it's summed it up so well. But it really pretty, something's been really weirding me out about them recently. And this was definitely it.

Oh, shit. Am I going to be able to find it? Oh, I don't know where my friend found this, but she was just like, this is such a true statement. I'm laughing. Sean Mendez and Camilla Cabo proved that non-civilings can also have huge, creepy incest energy. Yeah, that was like what you said about Hannah and Peter.

Yeah, it's a pretty accurate description of those two as well. But there was a lot of, like I said, a lot of really great performances. It ended with Taylor Swift singing, shoot, why am I spacing on the name of the song? Was it from her reputation album? No, no, no. It's from the last album. But it's the one that... Soon you'll get better.

about how the whole event was terrible and awful. I'm sorry. Oh, no, why I'm laughing, but just like the way you're delivering this news? Well, just wait. Well, just wait. So I see the headline on Twitter and it was, it was aggressive. And I was like, wow, that was such a, like, that was a nice event. What would you have to complain about it? And I look and the little thing above the tweet says, Noah liked it. I was like, my God, Noah, did you really hate this event so much you had to like this. man's mean article about how horrible and self-centered the event was? I retweeted it too.

I thought a good point was like, there was, there have been like other shows like this in the past for other tragedies and that kind of thing. And they're like those, the point of the show is to like uplift people and like sing these great songs. And like every single song, they pick like the saddest song and made it like the most dramatic thing about like them. And it's like you're just making everyone feel like even more sad right now. Like they said at the beginning of the night like this isn't about like this is about having fun like blah blah blah. And then like every single thing is like a really sad song. Okay, fair, fair point.

Like, that's why the Rolling Stones. This is how I'll counter. The Rolling Stones was the best one. But I will counter this. Okay, Fran, counterpoint. I think that, yes, it was supposed to be an uplifting event, but I also think that right now people are sad, and I think it was more of like a, we can sing a sad song and things can be sad.

Because I think of it like, Taylor Swift, people would have shit on Taylor Swift. if she came out and saying shake it off for the entire world during this pandemic. Like you can't like you can't win. If everyone sang happy upbeat songs, they would be like, what the fuck is this? So I thought it was a good mix. I thought there was a good mix of like sad stuff.

People sang uplifting songs. People sang sad songs. I thought it was a decent mix of both. I don't know. And also, no, I also think because this was. everyone's in their house. Like, yes, there have been these big events before

during times of crisis, but like not where everybody has had to perform from their kitchens. No, I get that. And like, I thought some of the performances were good. Like, I thought Billy Elish was good. And like, there were a ton of people who... But this is what I'm saying, like, Billy Elish was great,

but she didn't fucking sing with a microphone. You couldn't even hear her. You couldn't even hear her. Like the J-Lo one, I was like, oh my God, this is the worst thing. Right. Well, yeah, I mean, that was, It was very produced.

It was like so just like about her like. Yes. Yes. And then it's like lady Gaga. Like tweeting about how like she was born for this and like every single performance like crying about it. Like it just turned me off. But like I don't want to get myself attacked.

Lady Gaga fans. So I wasn't going to mention it. Like I tweeted nice things from the Chicksney Office account. And I know. But let me tell you. I could, I'm sorry. I could not not share that story of me seeing that tweet. and the page takes tweet and being like, wow, that feels harsh.

And then just seeing Noah liked it. And I was like, damn. Well, for one person who's listening on the outside, I would like to say, I think it's hilarious. And I'm sure the chicks in the office listeners feel the same way and share the same thought that that was very entertaining to listen to you guys. Don't come after me. Noah, you know what, man, the fuck up. You got to stick. Do me and Fran.

We've been wanting to talk about this for quite some time. We've been holding off.

I remember when the quarantine first started. We debated on talking about it on the first podcast that we were inside. And then me and Fran said, you know what? We don't really want to make people feel down about somebody they really love in this time. But we're way past due. Ellen DeGeneres. We got to talk about the lady. Something's wrong.

Something's wrong. And it's the fact that I think that she is possibly a very mean person. Yeah. So you're right. Like this. And let's say there wasn't enough really, I think. And that's not true. There's been rumors. There was plenty.

For forever. I mean, I feel like it's a pretty, at this point, well-known thing in the industry that Ellen is like a terrible person. People say this often. But there has never really been that much mainstream media power behind it, I would say, until recently. Because there was a thread that went viral kind of towards the beginning of quarantine where a comedian had said that he would donate for, he would donate to, the food banker, a charity, I forget what it was, for every story that people replied with like a mean Ellen interaction story. And that went crazy viral and people had tons of stories. And that's what we were debating talking about. But it really was one of those things like, if you don't know

the rumors about Ellen being terrible and you love Ellen, it's a tough thing to hear. It is super hard. And we were like, do we want to bring people down like that? We didn't. Um, But there have just been a few more things that have happened since then that now we just obviously cannot not talk about because variety, I mean, variety is huge. And Variety posted this whole article this week about how her employees are furious with her and the end. There's the show. The headline is Ellen Crew Furious Over Poor Communication regarding pay, non-union workers during coronavirus shutdown. and I'll just read some of it. So the core stage crew for the Ellen DeGeneres show

consisting of more than 30 employees received no written communication about the status of their working hours, pay, or inquiries about their mental and physical health from producers for over a month, said two sources, both of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity. Higher ups in production would occasionally answer phone calls but reveal little added one of the sources.

The crew was further and sent, by the show's recent hire of an outside non-union tech company to help DeGeneres tape remotely from her home in California. When production executives finally did weigh in, nearly all crew members were told last week to brace for a 60% reduction in pay, even as the show continues to air, according to sources close to the matter. Only four core crew members currently work on the remote version of the broadcast, added insiders, who find this treatment to be totally inconsistent with DeGeneres' daily message to her audiences, be kind. And then, you know, it continues on and on.

But that was, I feel like most of the gist of it, the lack of transparency continued as Generous expanded her output from hosting four shows a week to five, shot over two days at individuals with knowledge of the schedule. Radio silence from producers created anxiety among crew members who feared they would be furloughed, and in that case, we need to explore unemployment. benefits.

Warren Brothers spokesperson acknowledged that communication could have been better but cited complications due to the chaos caused by COVID-19. And on this, how about this? On April 2nd,

the majority of the crew members were shocked to discover that DeGeneres had a remote set erected at her residence where she was taping, a fact they learned via social media posts from colleagues

in other departments. So, honestly, it's crazy. I think that the common theme where we hear about Ellen and behind the scenes of Ellen is that she is just really mean to the people who work for her production employees like from the top to the bottom it just seems like she doesn't respect them and does not treat her employees well as well as it doesn't treat them well at all i haven't heard one person who has worked there or heard someone who worked there who said working for Ellen was

the best time ever i loved it she's a sweetheart every person says how mean she is yeah yeah it's it's very true. And I feel like there has been more surrounding it also with the fact that the YouTube star Nikki tutorials had gone on Ellen to discuss her transition period and discuss being transgender. And that was a huge moment for her. But she, since then, has basically said that it was a bad experience. She told a Dutch publication, maybe I'm being naive, but I expected them to welcome me with confetti. Welcome to the Ellen DeGeneres show, but instead I got greeted by an angry intern who was a bit overworked. I expected a Disney show, but I got a telotubbies after dark. The internet personality went on to reveal that she didn't receive her own bathroom, as many

guests do, and felt host Ellen DeGeneres didn't truly dive into her story. Every guest that Ellen had a private toilet, but I didn't, she said. For people who don't know me, the Ellen interview was a good summary of my story, but the people who did know me expected more. And then she had just said after being on Ellen, I thought to myself, don't meet your idols. So it's a, and I feel like she is probably holding back, um, even on that, like for her to be outspoken about not enjoying that experience. I mean, no celebrities have done that before, but I also think that Ellen is probably insanely nice to all the celebrities she interacts with and is terrible to just, you know, all those normies out there. It's just, I mean,

sorry, it's not a good thing, but something about it makes me giggle a little bit, thinking about this person who everyone loves. It's like, oh, my God, they're the nicest person ever, but then there's just like this really dark side of it all. Which, once again, it's not funny, but makes me giggle just a little bit. And thinking about Dakota Johnson, I don't know if people remember the clip, no one wants to put it in, where Dakota Johnson, it felt like she just straight up confronted Ellen.

Do you remember that clip? Noah, you could put it in. Yeah, it was when she had talked about her birthday party and she was like, I invited you. It was that an uncomfortable situation. To see you happy belated birthday. When was your birthday? It was October 4th.

October 4th. You turned 30. I did. And how was the party? I wasn't invited. Actually, no, that's not the truth, Ellen. You were invited. No, last time I was on.

the show last year you gave me a bunch of about not inviting you but I didn't even know you wanted to be invited well who didn't even know invited to a party why I didn't even know you liked me of course I like you you knew I liked you've been on the show many times and and don't I show like yeah but I did invite you and you didn't come so this time you invited me yeah are you sure yeah how do you know I don't think so ask everybody Ask Jonathan, your producer. Okay.

I was invited. Why didn't I go? I don't know. Was it, was it? Oh, yeah, I had that thing. It was probably in Malibu. That's too far for me to go to. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. No, I think I do remember I was invited. Thank you. You're welcome. Yeah, it's just one of those things where now I think it's become way more public, just people are really realizing what's been going on. And this is the case for her crew members and the people who work on her show.

I just find that insane because this is such a crazy time. She is so insanely wealthy that she can't make sure that her 30 person, that her 30 person crew is taking care of. Right. And I think it just goes to show when you could tell the difference between celebrities who actually care about their employees versus people who are straight up mean. Like I think there was something about Jimmy Kimmel paying out of pocket to his employees during this time. And then you hear Ellen won't even respond or talk to anybody. And even the high reps Ellen aren't responding or talking to anybody. And it's like you said, like you are so filthy rich. You have all the money in the world. You could pay. those 30 whatever employees. You easily could. And I'm not saying, you know, because then it goes into the,

something that bothers me is like when a celebrity donates to charity and then someone says, well, they have so much more money. Like they could donate more. Well, you know what? They're donating and they're doing a good thing anyway. Like let's not be like, wow, it could have been so much more than that.

But something with like paying the employees who work for your show, I absolutely think you should give up your money. if you have it during this time. You know what I mean? Like, it just, it's so tone-deaf to not realize how blessed... Optics are bad. Optics are bad.

Also, also... Also, in the position. All the videos where she's, like, calling celebrities and, like, checking in on them, and, like, she's not actually checking in on the people who work for her. Yeah. Right. Like, oh, you're checking in your celebrity friends who have a ton of money, mansions, schools, they live on the beach.

Like, I'm sure Reese's Spoon is just... fine. That's what I talked about the last podcast. How much you pissed me off that these celebrities are. And yes, it's hard. Absolutely it's hard. But the ones that are like, oh my God, I can't believe, how am I supposed to make it through this? I don't know, go jump in your fucking pool and have a drink because you can do that while other people are at home losing their jobs, losing family members. They don't even know how they're going to eat their next meal. Meanwhile, you're crying about it. Like, it's just insane. Like, I'm sure the people who work for Ellen, right now are worrying, oh my God, how am I supposed to pay for my life right now?

Yep. It's really insane. Ellen, check on your damn employees because she's looking good for you. Yeah. And with all the good, like the nice stories and good stuff you hear about, you know, celebrities taking care of other people or donating or whatnot and it just comes out that her employees or her crews being like treated like this is, is insane. Like he said, this has circulated for a long time.

I feel like it's been discussed way more openly on Twitter now, people being like, so she really sucks, huh? I heard rumors that she doesn't even allow people to look at her. Yeah, there's, that shit cracks me up, like, yeah. Once again, I know how me, like, I feel like this just sounds bad when I'm like, I'm laughing over it, but I think people can also understand when something's so uncomfortable that it makes you laugh. And thinking about Ellen being,

like, don't even look at me. Do you think you are? Oh, yeah. What the fuck do you think you are? That's like if Dave, like, genuinely said to us, like, hey, guys, I'm a lot more special than all of you. You know, I'm a lot more famous, which is facts. Please don't make eye contact with me because you are not worthy.

And then thankfully, we have a feel-good segment where we're going to talk about the nice celebrities because they do... Yeah, well, just rub it into her face. Right, Ellen. How much you suck Ellen. Try being like these nice people. Check out all these people doing nice shit. So, first of all, I mentioned this before, but John Krasinski has been doing this, you know, YouTube show, some good news. And he did a live virtual prom a couple days ago, which was really cute, the John Brothers performed, Billy Eilish, Chance to rapper. It was, and it was, it was very sweet. They performed some songs. They chatted. Basically,

he did this for all those kids who have had their proms canceled or won't be able to have their proms and it was just really sweet. Like I said, he's been doing very cute things on on that show if you want to watch. And obviously, it's just, it's nice to see the Jones brothers because, you know, they're all separated right now. And it was nice to see them all on one screen from their own homes. Yeah, I agree, Fran. I think that John Krasinski can set a great example for Ellen, honestly, on how nice he has been doing. I mean, obviously, we see him interacting with celebrities and whatnot, but he's also interacting with

you know, everyday people. Yeah, yeah. And it's, it was very cool and I do think the show is really great. And then there were a couple things that I wanted to mention. One is Michael Chey from S&L

Saturday Night Live. He unfortunately lost his grandmother to complications from coronavirus earlier. There's month, which is absolutely terrible. And he did post about it on his Instagram, but he also shared that he has offered to pay one month's rent for the 160 apartments in his late grandma's New York City Housing Authority building that she lived in. He wrote on Instagram, it's crazy to me that

residents of public housing are still expected to pay their rent when so many New Yorkers can't even work. Obviously, I can't offer much help by myself. I know that's just a drop in the bucket. So I really hope the city has a better plan for debt forgiveness for all the people in public housing at the very least. So I just thought that was really nice. Obviously, somebody like, you know, just lost his grandmother and reaching out to make sure all those people that live near her are able to pay another month's rent because it's New York. That's, it's crazy. I mean, rent's already crazy and people truly will not be able to pay their rent. Right. I think it's fucking awesome that he did that. Honestly, it just shows how big of a heart someone like he has and just other people who are doing this.

Like you could take that money out of your pocket because you know that you're secure enough and just pay for the end. I mean, my God, New York City run, like I'm just thinking about how much money that actually is. It's a shit ton. I was looking at apartments in California earlier, not for any reason besides the fact I was just bored thinking about running away and joining the Outer Banks cast. And I was looking at apartments there. And I was shocked to see the apartment I can get in California with what I pay now compared to the apartment I have in New York City.

Like it was, I mean. Yeah. It really is insane. And obviously, L.A. is still really, it's still expensive. It's just, it's just crazy. New York City is absolutely insane. And it does make you think that of Michael Chegg. pay these people's rent. Maybe Ellen Jenner's could play her employees. Okay.

Right. Like, like, fucking Ellen. Michael Chey is out here. He's not, he's not the host of SNL. He doesn't fucking run SNL. But he's out of your paying for all these people's rents. Oh my God, Ellen. I know. I'm sorry that we keep going back to her, but. I know. I know. It's hard not to. Um, and then also this picture that went viral because I do love recognizing the teachers that are working so hard right now and we have tons of teacher listeners and we love you guys so much and I thought this picture was so great from Florida. This woman shared a photo of her daughter Hannah and her teacher, Katie, Rika, on Facebook and the mom had wrote, Hannah's class has a Zoom session each evening.

Last night she got really sad and kind of shut down. Today her teacher came over and hung out for a it. They chatted, read books, and just talked. This woman has five kids at home, and she still sat in my driveway for an hour to make sure Hannah was okay. And it's just a picture of her daughter on one side of the driveway and her teacher on the other with an open book. And that's just, you know, I mean, it's just one of those things that makes you tear up because it's just a simple gesture, but goes such a long way for these kids who are struggling, like not being in their normal school environment. I agree with you, Fran. I agree with you, Fran. I I feel like, like you said, these things just to make you emotional.

And we appreciate all the teachers out there. And especially, you know, my cousin, she's a teacher. And I talked about this before. But just hearing from her, like how upset she truly is that she cannot be with her students. It's, you know, we're not teachers. We don't understand what that bond is like. But teachers really do, you know, as a student, you don't realize how much your teacher cares about you. But when you get older and you have teacher friends, you realize how much these

people actually really care about their students and hate being away from them and would do anything to help them. Just having genuine conversations with my cousin about how truly upset she is that she can't go back to work right now, help these kids out that she is used to helping out every day. She has phone calls with the parents. She's trying to teach in any way, shape, or form. I just want everyone to know how much we appreciate that. And, you know, keep, keep trying to help your students as much as possible. And I hope that in return, you know, hopefully the schools are treating you right as well. Because everyone knows that this is just a hard time with that as well. Nobody knows when people are going back to school officially. The date keeps on changing. Who knows if people

will even go back this year at all. So I hope that everyone just, all the teachers just stay strong. And you'll make it real. Definitely. And the last thing, which is fantastic. Yeah, she is. Um, as you probably know, Ellie works at Barstall as well. She has her own podcast, schnit talk, lots of relationship dating advice. Ellie is also the queen of Twitter. You also should probably know that. I'm thinking we have a lot of crossover and then, uh, maybe not because we, I got some questions. I was like, can you guys both explain your shows for somebody who listened to one and not the other whole thing? So I'm really excited because, um, I put up on my Instagram for people to ask the three of us questions so that we can get to know Ellie on this podcast as well as Fran and I a little bit more because we don't usually talk about like we talk about a little bit

like relationships and dating but we don't talk about it in the lengths that you do. So I'm excited to hear your opinions. I'm excited to hear Fran's opinions. Although I know both you're beautifully said. I was going to say you already you already know. I go to both of you for advice. So I do know but for the listeners they'll get to know a little bit better. I'm really excited, guys. Me too. Okay, so let's get it started. I only put it up an hour ago, so the questions are still coming in, but I screenshot it a bunch, and then if we feel we're going to do more, we'll go back. We'll go back and get some more. You can go back into the, got it. Yeah. So let's start off with some Ellie personal questions. Not personal, but just like solely Ellie,

and then we'll get into the three of us. So we do some like Ellie backgrounds? Yes, these are the questions. The first question is, how did Ellie get hired at Barstool? Perfect. Great question. Go ahead. Okay. So when I was a senior in college, I had my Twitter account and a couple of tweets went viral.

Actually, it was the end of my junior year for being specific, but it was most of my senior year. And I was like, you know what? That's cool. I want to keep doing that. So I kind of looked at it. I looked at the analytics. I said, what am I doing? That's working.

And I tried to just keep doing it. And it worked. And by April of my senior year, I had 100,000 followers about around this time last year, actually, or two years ago. Wow. Didn't want to bring it to, Ellie, but I'm two years out of college. Oh, shit. It's been two years. I want to talk about it.

Oh, my God. But then, so I had been kind of talking to KFC, Kevin Clancy, who works for Barstool. And he was like, you should build your Instagram. You should do some video if you want to do this as a career. and I was like, L.O.L. This is not a career. Like, I'll do it, but like, that's funny. Like, I'm not going to do this. And then when I graduated, I had no job prospects. And I was really depressed. And I was crying in my bedroom a lot. And then Gazz, who works for Barstool, reached out and asked if I wanted to come in for an interview. And I did. And I met you guys that day. Yeah. That was nice. And then

I left and I got in the cab and Gaz called me and was like, we want to work with you. So that's Oh shit, your mind just went out for a second, but the last part was you got in a cab and Sorry, I got in a cab and and Gas had called me and was like, we want to hire you and I was like, I'm 21. I was like, I don't know what's going on I was like, I have to talk to my mom first. He was like, uh, okay. I remember that day so well too because Gaz had just come up. I'm up to Ria and I being like, can you come talk to this girl? And we were like, okay. Like, we had no idea, like, why they were talking to you, what they wanted us to talk to you about. Like, there was no like, hey, we're, this is Ellie. Like, we're thinking about hiring her and like, this is why, blah, blah, blah, blah. It was like, hey, come talk to this girl. And then that was it.

Well, it was funny. I thought it went well. Yeah, it was very nice meeting you guys. You were very friendly, great handshakes. It was funny because now that I work, for Barcelona. Like, oh, yeah, they had no idea what was going on whatsoever. But it was so intimidating in the moment because, what is it? You and Ria, and then it was Gaz and Kevin and Dave. And it was just like a lot of you and you all knew each other. And I was like, I can't talk. Yeah, I think that part of it was that they just like wanted you to not be scared to work there, I think. You know what I mean here? Not even like that, but just know that like we're comfortable and you could be comfortable with us. The next question was, what was your first impressions of us?

So I feel like that kind of goes along with that. Yeah. Well, before I do that, I just want to say that it's funny. You should say that they wanted me to be comfortable because, like, I'm not kidding. There was about, there was an easy 30% of me. I was like, I'm about to be sold into sex slavery because I'd never flown on an airplane by myself or like stayed in a hotel by myself. And I was like, in my head, I was telling my friends, I was like, this is my locations.

This is what's going on. And they were like, okay, if any of them technically, you at night, you know, when you land to get a drink. That's how you know. You shouldn't go to the interview. I was like, okay. And Kevin texted me when I landed. He was like, hey, how's your flight? I was like, oh, no. And then I got there and we went into this room, the room with the couches that was downstairs on the second floor. And I was like, it's a casting couch. This is happening. I was so scared. Hilly. Those are all extreme overreactions. But I feel like, I mean, you were in college and then you just ended up there on a flight.

Like, I feel like flying to an interview is way different than just being in the same state and being like, all right, I'll come into the office. Yeah, it was scary. But with you guys, I remember that I had followed you guys. I'd followed chicks in the office for a little while because Kevin told me, he's like, hey, there's these two other young girls who worked for us and you should follow them. So I did. And I'd been following chicks in the office for a while.

So it was actually, like, weird to see you guys in person. Ria took me out for one. Wait, your mic went out. Your mic went out. Oh, no. No. Yeah, maybe. Yes.

Perhaps. Okay. Cool. Yeah. Well, obviously, I was very intimidated because I knew you guys had been kind of around and you knew what was up. But you were both really, really nice to me, especially like my first couple days.

I didn't really know anyone. My first day, you guys were like, Just like be here, be sit in the studio with us when we do chicks in the office. And like, because I didn't know where to go or who to talk to. So I really appreciated that. I remember I took Ellie to lunch her first day. And she didn't want to eat in the office. Like she, which I get because I feel like that's everyone's common thing.

When their first few days, they don't want to eat in the office. And Ellie was like, I really don't want to go back to the office and eat this. So I think we ate it in like the downstairs merch room because she didn't want to eat in front of anybody. And then I barely even ate it anyway. I think it took me two weeks to be able to eat. It was like it's such a weird thing because I feel like you're just so used to either with school or just life, like having like an assigned lunchtime. Like I ever remember my first day too. Like you're like, okay, when is when is the appropriate time to get?

lunch, like, do I have to ask someone permission to go get lunch? Like, how, what, how much time do I have? Are people going to notice somebody gone? Can I eat it when I come back here? It's all very bizarre things until you realize that, especially where we work, nobody gives a shit. Which is intimidating. Yeah, maybe go get yourself lunch.

Like, yeah, you should be eating. Everyone's, like, looking at you, like, you have two heads. Like, yeah, go get lunch. Well, you know, but with Barstall, too, it's like, it's not. you're not at a normal job. So it's less walking into a coworker environment, walking into like a office workplace environment. Like it's really walking and coming into an already established friend group slash family.

And so it is, it's intimidating. It's like, I don't know who I'm like, who's like cool or who am I supposed to talk to or like, I'm just going to sit here by myself and not make eye contact. Very true. Right.

It's like, I wouldn't say, you know, because it sounds like high school, it'll be like, oh, there's cool, not cool, whatever. But you definitely figure out, like, whose friends and not really that close. Not that anybody is, like, hates each other because I don't think that's the case at all. But I think there's definitely, like, people who hang out.

And then there's people who, like, go to Barstool and do their job and then go home. Like, there's not that much interaction. Somebody asked, and I feel like this goes along with this, did we all become friends right away, or did it take a little while? I think that it was like a we're going to become friends and then it was like a pause. And then it was like, okay, we're friends. All right, we're friends. Yeah.

At first it was like, oh my God, girls. And then we were kind of just like, all right, I need to figure out what the fuck I'm even doing here. And then I think I got more comfortable with everyone in general. And it was like, all right, friends. Now, I recall an evening we went to, this was like early on. and we went to Daniela's apartment. Oh, my God, he did. Oh, my God.

I literally blacked out. Ellen got so drunk. And I remember afterwards being like, Ria, I don't know. I know. And I was like, I was so scared and so nervous. I was like, I want them to like me. And then I drank too much. And then the next day, I threw up at 9 p.m.

Like, I was still long over all day. It was miserable. I feel like that was like a common theme with you, like in the beginning of like first working there was like not that you would just like get drunk randomly at work, but like you kind of were like nervous and then you would get like a little too drunk and then it would be like, oh shit, Ellie's kind of small. Not kind of small. She's very small. She's so small and she can't drink as much as us. And it was just like an imbalance. And I remember that night so clearly being like, oh my God, we're all going to be best friends. And then all of a sudden, it was like,

all right, well, that didn't go. Not in that way, because we're good friends now, obviously. But it was, it was definitely like, all right, we like ran into this. Because you, not that we felt like. But I didn't know you guys. No, we didn't know each at all. It was like, uh, like me, Fran and Danielle and knew each other. We were our friends. We were already friends. And then we just, we were like, we want to be friends with Ellie. And then I think you had. to kind of figure out your comfortability level with everybody. And then finally, like, I think you became friends with everyone a lot more as time went on. For sure.

Yeah, for sure. But I also think like, like, like, looking back on it, like, oh, I'm just thinking about how much we all have probably changed since then. I know what I mean? Like, I know. Because it's been, I don't know, more than a year. And that's almost two years since that night, I guess. And I'm just thinking about like how I would have, you know, just like things I would change about

myself or just like in general. Like everyone goes through that. The next question was about stool team six because people ask this a lot. They're like, how did you and Ellie become in this group of random people? Why is Fran not in it? Like what, how did, did you guys choose it? I got a lot of questions about this. I think best is to just answer this.

One day, we just got an email out of nowhere. And it was like, me. Ellie. Oh, it was a text. Yes, it was a text. So much words. And it was from gas and it was like, Dave wants to meet with you all at blah, blah, blah time, like upstairs. And it was such a random group of people, obviously, if you see school team six, it was me, Ellie, KB, Marty, Tommy, um, quigs. And we just were all very confused why the group of us were put together because we've never, we're all like friendly, but we've never all worked together for it. Yeah.

And then we got in the room and Dave was just like, okay, so TikTok. And we were like, oh, all right. Okay. This makes sense. And I think it was, he explained that they talked to like Quiggs who works on the Barstle TikTok. And it was just people who he saw were doing TikToks, like a lot of, not a lot of them, but just like being active in that area because I think some people are into it.

Some people are not. And then it kind of went from, okay, you guys are going to make TikToks to, we're going to make a parody hype house to, okay, we're now going to make vlogs with the parody hype house, but also try and make TikToks. And then we decided that we would just meet together every single day. And now we kind of just call it recess. Yeah, it kind of devolved into, it started out we really did make TikToks and we were really working hard. And then it's not that we weren't working hard. It's just that we like each other so much more. Like we were all friendly friends, like in our own kind of ways. But then as we became constantly,

as a group. It really was just like hanging out with our best friends like at two o'clock every day. And I think that's what also made us become friends more too. Like we were definitely like friends before that. But then when stool team six started, it was like, okay, we're friends, like we fucking, we get along. We're boys. We laugh. We're boys. Yeah. That it was, that's what it is. And people are like, oh, wise friend, non-stool-team six, that kind of explains the situation with what happened with that. And Franus talked about TikTok before. She, it's, it's not her favorite thing in the world. I mean, yeah, I was just, I wasn't asked. Like, it's basically that's really the only reason. Like, if I was asked to do it, I'm sure I would have, but I wasn't asked. So that's really the only reason.

And, and yeah, I mean, I, TikTok isn't my, my, my, I'm not an Excel. I haven't, uh, I don't sell a TikTok. That's for sure. It was more of just like I had talked to you about TikTok before and it was like you were like, yeah, if you want to tell me to do one, I'll do it. But like I'm not going to sit there and like go through TikTok and try and come up with TikToks, which is fair. Like I feel like that's just like, I don't know. I don't think everybody's into that. All right. Next question was for Ellie. Ellie said she had an attractive doctor when she went in for a procedure. Did she get his number? No, because I embarrassed myself. I mean, first of all, I don't think they're allowed to do that.

Second of all, I was so embarrassing because I woke up from anesthesia and I was just like, I cried for like 48 hours, like in the hospital, like that whole time I was pretty much crying the whole time. It was just scary and stressful, but I woke up and I like couldn't breathe. I could breathe, but I couldn't breathe, you know? So I was like hyperventilating and like crying and they were like, can you calm down? And I was like, I can't do something about it? And they're like, we can't do anything about it. You're freaking yourself out.

You're kind of being dicks if I'm being honest. And it was embarrassing. The last time he saw me, I'm just, like, sobbing in the hospital bed. So no cute doctor. Oh, that is unfortunate. But also, I feel like people might have no idea what you're talking about. Right. Explain why you were in the hospital.

I had an emergency appendectomy like two weeks ago, which is so funny. I mean, it's not funny. Smack dab in the middle. of everything. Yeah. Like, I don't really know. I still don't know why. Because I don't understand why appendixes do that.

Like, they're useless. And then all of a sudden, they'll freak out. But not in everyone. Like, yeah, I don't understand it. But, yeah, I was in pain. And then I went to the doctor and they were like, you have to go to the emergency room because you need your appendix out. And I was like, this is the worst.

Objectively, the worst. So that's why I was in the emergency room. And that's just, I feel like, You can't really script that. Like, of course, you were in the emergency room for something that had nothing to do with coronavirus. And, of course, everybody was, like, responding to you being like, oh, you must have corona because you're in the hospital with a mask on.

Like, I have scars. My belly button will never be the same. Oh, oh, man. Isn't that, like, the worst part of surgery? It really is. Is the scars? It's just, like, why do those have to happen? I get it.

but now I have to live with this. And I always think about like, how do you get rid of them? But there's no way. That's why they're called scars. Yeah, you can make them less, but they're going to be there. I don't know. It's fine. What is a cheesy quote about scars?

Chick's dig scars. That's all I got. All right. I mean, I guess that applies to us, but that's fine. Where does Ellie get her inspiration from when she tweets? life mostly it's my life it's my friend's lives it's something i saw on tv that reminded me of something a lot of the time it'll be i'm in a situation and then i think about the situation i'm like well what what's funny about this and what do other people like is this a relatable situation do other people

go through this and i'll think all right well this is my situation how can i put it into terms that will make it as general as possible and then what's the joke about the general thing So the first part of the tweet is always set up. Second part is always joke. I think it's interesting that you take it from not just your life, but like your friend's lives as well because not everything you tweet, I would say is like it's not like it's false or you're lying, but it's not like 100% having to do with the you.

Yeah, and it's not always what I'm thinking in the moment either because a lot of times I don't just to like be respectful of my relationships, of my friendships, I'll write a draft of something and then a couple days later I'll tweet it because I don't want it to be like, I'm broadcasting all my feelings right now because sometimes that's kind of a dick move. That's very fair. A lot goes, a lot goes into it more than people, more than what people think, I would say. Well, there's a reason I'm the best. Yeah, that is very true.

That's a fact. Hey, that is a fact. Next, this kind of goes along with it. How do you maintain your personal lives privacy while also being public on social? I don't have a personal life. I think Fran probably handles this in the best way possible because I feel like she has a, I mean, it's true that you have a life that's completely separate from Barstool, whereas the rest of us, like. literally just live in personal world. So I think Fran would be the best one to explain

how to separate these two. Yeah, it's hard because you do want to share a lot and then you just kind of have to think like, I chose this life. My friends and my family

and my boyfriend did not. Like, they picked me, but they didn't you know pick having their whole lives broadcast. So, I think the most important thing is always to like make sure that they're comfortable with what you're sharing and like make sure that that there's no like surprises like even if I'm posting a Instagram story or picture or something that it's even just like my girlfriends I'm like are you like are you guys okay with this do you want me to tag you do you not want me to tag you because

sometimes like sometimes my friends are like hell yeah I look good tag me and then sometimes they're like okay please don't because I don't want that right now and it's It's the same thing with Joe. Like, there are plenty of times that I wish I could be posting more things. Like, if I didn't have that side of my life, like, there are probably so many funnier, like, things I'd be posting on Instagram of us or whatever. But it's just like a lot of it is either, I don't know, it's just like sometimes to protect our relationship because everybody has an opinion.

And when it gets to be like a little too loud and it like actually affects our, lives. I'm like, this is just so not worth it. Like, why? There's just no, there's no benefit to this. So then I just stay out of it. But it's, it's, it's hard. It's definitely hard to bounce sometimes. Because like, when you are experiencing something so great, you want to share so much of it. And then you're like, why, like, you could potentially have that really good thing ruined by people being mean about it or whatever. Right. And people think that their opinion, matter so much and think they can like install their opinion into your head um sorry no you're speaking of personal life hang is walking walking the bathroom right now um I think that people try to like take

their opinions and they're like you need to think this and then even though you don't actually think it you kind of start questioning things yourself like yeah um like I'm sure it happens to you all the time Fran and Ellie and like sometimes I'll get stuff where it's just like because I'm dating Hank where people are like, oh my God, like you only have a job because of Hank and I know that's not true whatsoever like at all. But then when people say these things all the time, then you kind of like look in the mirror sometimes. You're like, is that true? Who am I? Um, but I think that like Fran, like what you were saying is your family and your friends and your boyfriend like even though they support your job and they want the best for you, they also don't want, like, their lives to be content.

Yeah. Like, totally fair. Yeah. Like, I, I love sharing stuff, but sometimes I'm like, I'm open. So I, a lot of times, like, the criticism sucks, like, I can take it when, like, they didn't ask for that. Like, why, why would I just open up these people in my lives to get, like, ripped apart for no reason?

Right. And, Ellie, you, like, obviously hook up with random people. I'm not saying you're now, hooking up with random people on the time. That came out the wrong right. You know, Ellie, you're such a slut. Ellie, I know you're fucking rat.

Well, Ellie, Ellie's a fucking whore, so let's take it over the herd. No, I mean, obviously there are people that you talk to you. You date. date, respectfully that are not in this world, but you talk about them in a way that you don't mention their names. Is there ever a time where they're like, damn, that was about me and they send it to you? Usually, yes.

For me, it's like a decision at this time in my life that I know who I'm dating and what I'm doing and my friendships and when I go out and everything I do to an extent has to be part of the narrative that I create on my show. So for that reason, I know I'm not, I'm not really looking to be in a serious relationship because it would be hard to find someone I think who would be okay with being a part of the circus. And I just like wouldn't want to put someone through that. Like I was a guy I was seeing right before I moved to New York.

And I really liked him. I still think he was like the best guy ever was seeing. but he we got in this fight because he said something really weird to me. I do think you told us about him during that drunk wine night when you first moved here.

I love of my life. I loved him. Mike. Yes. Yeah, Mike. Yep. But he got in this fight because he said something really weird to me

and I was like, that was fucking weird. So I tweeted what he said because again, and I don't regret this necessarily because it was very weird and it is my right to say that was weird. But he got really mad because his friends were like, oh my God, that's about you. And it kind of like kind of brought shit on him in that way. Right. Like he, he was a weird thing to say. But like he also didn't deserve necessarily for

300,000 people to be like, that was a weird thing to say, you know? Right. So it's tough, but I'll figure out. Right. Sometimes you want to put people on blast and then you remember you have 500,000 followers. And I can't. I can't. Sucks actually. Like maybe you just want like 20 of them to say something, but then there's about like a hundred replies. I don't want to like rally them. Like I feel bad. There was a girl who honestly tweeted something really kind of rude about me, but I quote tweeted it and I was, you help me real with this and I like quote tweeted it. And she deleted her whole account. And I was like, oh, that's what I wanted. It was not what I, like literally in a minute. And I felt really bad about it.

But what she said wasn't very rude. Yeah, but I always would get more backlash. because I have to be more responsible with my following. Yeah, right. Does that annoy you at all? Because sometimes that annoys me. I'm like, why can these people say whatever they want? Whatever they want to say. You know, you have followers.

You can't say your opinion back at them. Yeah, it's so much just saying, okay, like be the bigger person, let it roll off your back. It doesn't matter. If I ever say something back to someone, it's because it really, really bothered me. I'll rarely do it, but I always want to. I'm always like, I want to be like, what's your problem? Who aren't you? Why don't you like me? I'm nice. Do you ever type out tweets and then delete them? Yeah, all the time. All the time. I do that all the time too. I mean, there are sub-tweets in my drafts that are like, would get me in so much trouble. Like, I would be, I mean, it would be a mess, you know,

but I feel like. Sometimes it feels good just to type it out. Even if you don't post it. Sometimes I type it out, screenshot it, send it to a friend. And I'm like, how good is this response? And then I don't send it out. I just need one person to tell me that's good. Yeah. If you came up with something good there.

There's a lot of ways you can answer this, you know? Because you could go the straight-up gold digger route and be like, I'd marry Dave, he's fucking, he's loaded, you know. Right, right. Unfortunately, I don't think our marriage would last. We don't speak to each other very often. Who would I marry? Just a side note, just a side note,

one of my favorite things, and I truly miss it about being in the office, is witnessing Dave and Ellie interact sometimes because it's so funny. It's awful. Dave will just sometimes have, like, I need the opinion of a, young, single, like 20-year-old, early-20s girl. And the question is just like, what? And you're, you always have a nice response. And then that's it like that. And then he walks away and it's,

and it's like, all right, that's done. It's like kind of like talking to like your, your, your uncle who's like, you know, not really part of the family. Like, you know, like you're a strange uncle. Yeah. You're a strange uncle. You're like dad's best friend from college that you don't normally see, but you call uncle for no reason. What guy? Yeah. What guy? Can I say myself?

No. For Ellie to marry? No, for himself. Like if he had to pick a guy. Oh. And give your reason. Of it is I don't want to say anyone that's connected. I mean, it would probably be big cat.

I must have been three years old. And there were these little girls in my preschool. They were twins. And I remember that I didn't like them. But they came up to me on the playground and they asked me what time my bedtime was. And I was like eight o'clock because I had an older brother. So I stayed up.

a little late not to brag and they were like eight o'clock and I was like this is what it feels like to have people think you're interesting it dates all the way back to pre-k it really does Fran what about you I don't really know it's so hard to decipher like what's actually a memory and what's like seeing a photograph or like hearing your parents tell you a story like I definitely have memories of birthday parties early on. But I think this is, I probably, I want to say, so like the summer going into kindergarten, I went to camp, day camp, at the school that I actually ended up going to high school at,

but that's beside the point. And these two girls would drive me absolutely crazy. because I was very irritable. And it really doesn't make any sense, but the two of them would just say, I forget what it would, they would go hap, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, like right into my ears,

and it would drive me nuts, and it pissed me off so much that they would keep doing it because I would get so angry and they would do from both sides. And then I went to kindergarten and bam, one of those girls is in my,

kindergarten class, but she ended up being my best friend ever. I'm still friends with her. It's Claire. It's Claire. That is a fun ending. Okay, that's a great, that's a great early life memory. Yeah, that is good. Yeah, it's Claire. My earliest life memory is pretty dark, so I'm not going to get into it. Oh, no. This is like fun times. No, I have a funny one, though, from second grade. And this memory always, always sticks in my brain and makes me laugh really hard. I used to pee my pants all the time at school. Like all the time. I had a peeing pants problem. The nurse kept like a lot of extra underwear for me in the nurse's office. Oh no. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. And in like just your random times? Listen, this is but this is one of those memories that just sticks with me. In second grade, we used to,

I went to Catholic school my whole life and we used to say a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. in the morning. And when that was happening, we were all standing up and I started peeing. And obviously, we wore a uniform, like a skirt and a top and whatever. But, you know, this wasn't in high school, we wore tights, but we wore knee socks in elementary middle school. Second grade, you were like seven. Yes. I know, Fran. It was a problem. The nurse had to have to talk with my parents. And I started peeing on the floor. And I was, I didn't know what to do about it. So I took. my shoe and I started roughing it to the ground. No. And then I went to my teacher and I vividly remember this because looking back, I'm like, I can't believe I whispered this to my teacher's ear

and I was like, and she was like, go to the bathroom. Because I didn't want to tell her that I full on peed my pants, like on the floor. I literally peed my pants and like rubbed it around with my shoe. Was there a, like, what was the conversation about the peeing your pants? Like, was there like a group meeting? Yes. I also remember this very clearly. My parents had to come to the school and have a talk with my nurse about how often she was giving me underwear.

Like, it was becoming an issue that honestly, all the underwear I owned at one point, I was like, oh shit. I got this from the nurse's office. like even years after. Oh my god. I would look at my underwear and be like, yep, yep, got this from the nurse. And I remember that the solution was I would have to bring my own pair of underwear from now on as a backup because the nurse was giving me all of her backup underwear and there were

other kids peeing their pants at school. I wasn't the only one. But I was taking up all the pairs of underwear. So yeah, that is an early life memory of mine that I would pee the best. bed all the time. When did you, when did you rid yourself of this problem? I would say it was, it stopped after second grade. I would say the last peeing, okay, okay. I was afraid that that was like going to be. That's acceptable. The last peeing I remember was that story where I was like, omel little wet and it was downhill. I just, I just peed on the ground in my classroom. That's disgusting.

I remember in pre-K, I had to get picked up because I peed through my outfit. It was really cool, honestly looking back it was a pink tie-dye set honestly I was like ahead of the time I'm trendy no I swear I got to find pictures of it and I peed right through it my parents had to pick me up um so yeah I couldn't stop peeing my pants as a kid oh I feel like I know you that was a good one now that is my earliest not my earliest life memory just yeah just a good one all right let's move on let's do how many more questions you guys want to do let's do like two more I'm going to pick two good ones then. Okay.

Okay. Okay. Favorite Barstool memory and then your favorite just friend memory. Like us, like what is like a personal memory between us and then a Barstool memory. Oh, I really want to think about this. Take your time. Take your time. Yeah.

Because, you know, there's definitely moments at Barstool that you're like, it's pretty sick that we work here, you know? Like those moments you're like, I really love it here. I'm trying to think, though. of a good one. I think I have to think. Because now, of course, I can't think of any minute of my time. Right. Well, no one could probably just cut out the pauses

unless it doesn't cut them out. The thinking parts. The thinking parts. I could talk about my dark childhood memory. Is it just our favorite moment ever? Not favorite. Or like among the three of us? I think it could be whatever you, like,

feel this question is. Like for me, I'm taking this question as, what is my favorite memory at Barstool? And then what is my favorite memory with each of you? Oh, okay. Amongst friends. Amongst friends.

I got you. Okay. Okay. Hmm. Okay. I can't say that. I will... Oh, man.

I got to think about, too. I know. I'm... I mean, And this is tough because I have so many, so I'm just going to pick, I'm just going to pick what popped in my head. Okay. Okay. Okay.

Favorite barstool memory? And I would separate it from Chicks in the office memory from Barstall because the chicks in the office listeners, they know our memories. Yes, yes. They experience them with us. I know, I know. Um, I know, I know, I know it's probably one of the cheesier ones. but like our first end of year meeting, Rhea, that we were a part of. And it's not necessarily chicks in the office, but it's just personally, like as a whole,

I remember thinking like the whole company was together and there's a whole video and everything. I actually think it was the video Noah made because it was. Yeah. And I just remember thinking like, wow, this is just so fucking awesome. and I love all these people and how lucky am I and then I think I there were some tears shed so great. Everything was just like such a cool moment. It's the end of the year.

It was just that, you know, festive time. So I feel like that's probably one of my favorite, like, I would say sentimental ones. There's obviously a ton of other really random ones that I just can't even, can't even think about right now. And then for you guys, I don't know. It's hard. Like, I feel like we've had tons of fun, happy hours and stuff that we've all done together. And I love, I really do think that that first night of us hanging out at Danielle's is one of my best Ellie memories just because I was like, where are we going with this? And it was, it was just, it was fun and also so funny.

And then Ria, I mean, there's just like so many. Probably, I did really love your 21st birthday. I think that was a fun moment for us as friends. That was a fun moment, actually. My 21st birthday was a lot of fun, I will say. That's good. 21st birthday should be good one. Ellie, did you think of yours yet?

Honestly, okay. There's obviously, like France said, there's like really the saffy things. Like when we're all together, the company, like really seeing something together. And then you just feel like, wow, I'm part of something really unique and really cool and really special. But honestly, one of the coolest things I ever got to do with Barstool is when, well, I don't know if this is a spoiler.

But for put punk, we recorded a song in a studio like a couple months ago. and like just getting to do that and be a part of something that like I look up to all those guys and I think that they're all so talented and like being able to be part of that and doing something I never thought I would get to do that is like my favorite like personal memory. I love that and I do remember Ellie like PFT turned around to us you know months ago and was like all right one of you girls like has to be able to sing like what's the deal like how can none of you guys sing. The odds are somebody can. And I was like, it's Ellie, it's Ellie, pick Ellie. I was like, it's Ellie, pick Ellie. Kind of threw you under the bus, but for good reason.

It's good. Good to get to do something like that. I mean, it's obviously like every day something happens that I could say. It's like my favorite thing because people are so ridiculous that we work with. I don't know. And with you guys, I don't know. Like I said, it's hard. It's hard to even like pinpoint a moment because I think just, you know, I feel like I've learned a lot from you guys and like just watching how good you are at what you do. I feel like I've always, I'm getting really sappy, but like, it just makes me feel like, you know, I'm lucky to work with A, girls, women who want to support other women and be like, you're so good at what you do. So that's nice. And I don't know. I'm just really lucky to know you guys.

Oh, that's so sweet. That's so sweet, Ellie. I feel the same way. I feel like that was a question that I got sent to. It was just like, are the girls at Barstool really close or like you guys hate each other? What's the deal? I feel like we are all pretty close. Like I feel like some are closer than others, obviously.

Because, I mean, some just like different ages and like hang out with different people, but otherwise all pretty close. And I think like real, like no matter what, like if one of the girls at work, like contacted one of us, like we're always there to help each other. Oh, 100%. Like the amount of like heart to hearts I've had with like multiple. Like everyone. Yeah.

Because everyone has a different piece of advice that works. Yeah. You know what I mean? Everyone has different experiences that can help one another. So I think that's pretty awesome. And like you said, everyone just wants to support each other. And I feel like just like, Barstle in general, which is a question that was asked a lot.

It was just like, what's it like working there, like with a bunch of guys? And I feel like it's a question we got asked often in the beginning as interns. And I feel like as an intern, like all the guys just really wanted us to succeed and do our own thing and like kept pushing for us and make videos and like keep making content no matter what. Like they were just so supportive of it. And nobody was like, no, don't do it. You guys look stupid doing this. everyone like if we weren't doing stuff they're like why aren't you doing stuff.

And what's so nice now is like we get that we get asked that question so much still but it's like people don't realize that there are so many women like now it's it's so different now like our day to day of either working with us or doing the group chat or like whatever it is there's even behind the scenes with our sales team like we're always there's so many women now that it's like, I don't even think about that anymore. Exactly. It's not like, oh, what's it like working with all guys? I'm like, I don't even work with the guys anymore.

Like, I really just... Well, like, the guys, too, like, I think people are imagining, if you don't know a lot about Barstall, you're probably imagining, like, madmen and, like, you know, these guys being, like, insane. Honestly, like, they're the perfect slice of just average normal, fun dude that you're friends with. Like, they're all, you know, funny and interesting and smart and they have talent. and things that they're good at, but, like, for the most part, like, they're dumb and weird and, like,

they're not intimidating. Yeah. Yeah. And I think an, like, misconception is that is people thinking that we work with a bunch of frat boys when I can't name one frat boy in our office. They're nerdy bloggers. Everyone's like, oh, Bars was a bunch of frat bros. Like, my cousin asked me the most ridiculous question that some guy asked her, and I don't even feel like repeating it, because I just feel like it's not, they're not even worth it. No, it was just like offensive. It was like just what somebody thinks about Barstool in general as a whole and how everyone acts. And I was like, actually, nobody that I know acts that way, talks that way, does those things. Like, it's just crazy. If we did, we would be fired. Like, it wouldn't be a question. Like, we all have good morals. Nobody's an asshole. It's just, it's just crazy what people think sometimes, truly. I know. All right, let's look for one last question. do do do do do to do to do to do to do do to do do to do do to do do do do do do do do. Do we want it to be advice, parcel related or what?

Oh, I feel like this is a good one. Let's do something else. What is the first thing you're going to do or first place you want to go to post-quarantine? Oh, God. You know, I think I'm supposed to say like I'm just going to go like whatever dude I've been talking to is plays and just go to town. I'm not talking to anybody. I'm like so not even interested in speaking to people right now.

But what I really want to do, and this is so pathetic, it's literally just walk down to the nearest Dunkin' Donuts and like take my leisurely time getting coffee and just like stroll while sipping my coffee. That's what I want to do. That is a perfect answer and a perfectly reasonable and normal one because I feel like the people who are responding with, I'm going to like go crazy, I want to go to every bar.

Like you're not though because you're going to catch Corona still. Yeah, exactly. Also, like, all of our tolerances are going to be so, so bottom. I would already have no tolerance, so I'm just not even going to drink. I think I'm done drinking. It actually comes full circle, like, talking about how Ellie has, like, a low tolerance and then in the beginning and then coming back and being like, Ellie has a low tolerance. Fran, where do you, where would you go? It's true, Ellie. Like, I was thinking about that, too. Joe said to me the other day, like, he was like, this could just be like it for you. Like you're just going to be, you're just going to get like really comfortable with not having to ever go out now and then just be like, this is nice. Like, why would I ever go out? And it's very possible. But, um, okay, first thing I'm doing is definitely having a in-person conversation with a friend. Don't care who it is. Just a friend, not like a stranger on the street. Good answer. Good answer. Like a legitimate friend. Um, and, and,

And then I am, as long as it's safe, getting my nails done. Oh, my hair. Oh, my fucking hair is. Because my nails are so bad and my feet are not to be like, it's just, I need a pedicure. I need, like, it's just gross at this point. I tried to paint my own nails. Oh, they look, they look. I just, I really, I could, I need something bad.

I need my fucking hair done. Yeah, that was going to be my answer. I'm brown. Like, I'm just a brunette now. Absolutely getting my highlight. You have pink hair, Ellie. No, but it's like brown. Yes, yes.

You know. Yeah. What are you going to do? What's your color move after this? Like, will you just go back to blonde? Back to blonde, I guess. Now I'm bored. I'm like bored with it.

But we'll see. Already your hair is pink. I know, but I want to keep it like this forever. Like, I don't. want to have blonde hair. Although none of my clothes match my hair. So that's not great. That is something that I feel like you kind of have to take into consideration when you dye your hair like an actual bright color. That's the hardest part I had with my purple hair. Things clash. It was pissing me off when I'd wear like green and all of a sudden my hair was purple. I was like that is not

match at all. And that was part of the reason that I washed it out. But it does look really, really good, Ellie, honestly. Like, I think you should keep it. As long as this quarantine is going on and then like maybe a little bit into the office, I think you should keep it. Yeah. It makes your eyes look really cool. Thank you. I probably was going to, once I was done being blonde, I wanted to go red, like about this, not like fire truck red, but like this kind of tone of red where it's like not too dark, not too light, like kind of in the middle. But that was my next move. So that was. You never know. trying it all. Life is short.

That's what I've learned in quarantine. I was like, why would I ever do A, anything I don't want to do? And like, why not just do whatever you want? Because life is short. Exactly. All right. To wrap it up, I will say that somebody, like I said in the beginning, they want to know the difference between our two podcasts.

And I think that we can lead off with a little bit of advice from Ellie in whichever route she wants to take it, because our show is a little bit, you know, obviously we cover pop culture news and we don't talk that much about dating or anything like that, although we do a little bit. But Ellie talks a lot about advice, relationship advice, personal advice, talk a lot about mental health and things like that. So to end this, I want to give me the floor to give maybe just a little piece of advice that is really hitting home with you right now to share with other people. Okay. All right. There's so many.

ways I can go with this. But I think, like, my standard advice, whether it's a relationship or a friendship or whatever, you don't have to ever keep someone in your life who's not nice to you. And you would think that that was not groundbreaking advice. But so many people stick around in relationships, friendships, whatever, that's just like, don't serve them and, you know, don't make them happy. I mean, do you know how many guys I've hooked up with who have, like, also made me cry? That's crazy. Like, why do that? Why bother? And, like, if your friends are mean to don't be friends with them. They're not good people.

Like, respect yourself enough to keep people in your life that only make you happy. Oh, that is a great piece of advice. And I think it's something that works in quarantine because this is now the time where people don't have to see other people. And maybe you can kind of push people out of your life that way. Oh, I think we for sure. We really start to trim the fat during this time, huh? Yeah, right.

Like, you know, oh, you know, I'm nervous about it. I don't want to meet up with you. I mean, how many people have you been like, wow, I haven't talked to this person at all, the whole time I've been here, you know? Yeah. Yep. There's a reason for that. Exactly.
