This is state of emergency.
What's up, everyone?
It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne,
giving you that Friday energy on a Wednesday.
What a beautiful day it is.
We are about to head to Tampa for our Tampa, Tampa Live Show
with the wonderful Gabby Wendy.
That will be a lot of fun.
We'll be in the hopeful Florida sunshine.
But of course, it might rain.
It looks like it might be storming.
But that's the risk you take when you go to Florida this time of year, you know?
No, you want to say what you said before?
Thunderstorms always.
I said we're bringing the thunder to Tampa.
Boom.
Boom.
Boom.
There you go.
All right, there's not a ton.
There's not a ton going on in the pop culture universe right now.
There is not.
You always, this is how you can tell when they're.
are a little slow when the fact that Alex Earle and her friends um got duped in in Italy and they had to
stay in a hotel for a night and then find somewhere else to say is all over like every it's all
over every website top story e news page six everywhere honestly really like you don't want that
happening to you when you were going to another country. You absolutely don't. Good story though.
But the thing is, I would love that. Like, if that happened to us, right, as a team,
we're going somewhere for our show and we show up and the hotel doesn't exist, I'm on the
four-class. That's the highlight of the trip. Yeah. Now, would it frustrate us a little bit? Yes.
But would we prevail? Yes. You'll find a place to stay. And I really have never heard of that
happening where they just like rented a house and the house just doesn't exist. I've heard of it
happening to my boyfriend recently, actually.
A couple of...
A house and the house didn't exist?
A couple months ago, it was his brother's bachelor party in Arizona.
Okay.
And he, like, rented a house on Airbnb.
And the weeks leading up to it, like, was trying to get the information or whatever.
And he ended up getting in contact with the guy of the house.
And the guy who owned the house was like, this is not available.
Like, I don't know how they...
this happened. Like my house is not available to rent. I don't know where you got this on Airbnb.
And so he had to get a different house. And he ended up getting... So the owner was like,
I don't rent my house. The owner was like, my house is not able to be rented on Airbnb right now.
And so obviously it was great. Yeah, but it was great that he checked. Yeah, yeah. Because they would have just
showed up and it would have been 10 plus guys. Just knocking on a guy's door.
I'm just knocking on 10 guys knocking on a door.
Let us in.
That's fucking horrible, but it does happen to people.
That's crazy.
I really have not seen that, but I guess it happens more.
That's the price and the risk you pay if you don't just go straight through a hotel.
Like there have been family vacations.
Sometimes you just got to do a house, though.
Sometimes, yeah, of course, sometimes you got to do a house.
I don't think that happens often, but it definitely did happen.
Yeah.
But there have been family vacations that I've been on or one.
family vacation. I'm just, I'm like dancing around the fact. Like, there's one family
vacation I'm alluding to. I don't know why I'm making this seem like some grand thing.
So one time on a family vacation. One time on a family vacation. I'm like trying to make it
sound way cooler. It's not one time on a family vacation. We showed up somewhere and my parents
had booked through like a secondhand booking website where I was like, I'm not doing.
that I'm booking straight through the hotel yeah which is what I like doing to know that my
room is like safe like not safe but like it's secure it like I got the room I get you're saying
I get you're saying although it's fine when people book like that like usually it's fine and then
there were other family members coming not from my immediate family and their room ended up like
not they didn't end up getting a room and then they had to like pay extra for another room but
they had booked through a second hand so I've heard of these things that they're not
things before and that was a long-winded story for like i said guys like i said it's wednesday you guys all
know roback we always make sure to recommend roback to all the men in our lives so we want us do the same
for you whether it's their performance hoodies polos or quarter zips you want your man looking good

has great stretch and hidden pockets for all your essentials.
The scort is great. It's a perfect summer walking
outfit, you know, you can pair it. He has pockets. It's not as tight.
It's like, you know, feel a little breeze. It's nice.
They also released new women's joggers that are so soft.
So if you want to be comfortable, these joggers,
are for you. The best part is we've been spying that subtle dog logo and the two-stripe bridge on
the back all over the city so we know we aren't the only ones that love Roeback.

scorts, joggers, and ho-h-h-h-c-k-com. That's 20% off with the code Chicks. Get ready for
summer with Roeback.
I'm grasping at anything to talk about. There's not much going on.
I got new shoes.
Oh, nice.
I got new sneakers.
I like them.
I'm excited about him.
You know, these bad boys are hard to get your hands on.
New Balance 550s.
I've gone, so there's a new balance store by my apartment.
And I've gone in so many times.
Not even to buy them just to like, because I know I could, I mean, hello, I bought
Ugs on Stock X.
Like I'll, I will pay up for a shoe that I want.
And, you know, everybody's got these.
I, in my mind though, like my
Nike's
you know, the sizing can be weird sometimes. I was like, I just want to put
some on my feet to see what the size would be. I've gone in there
no joke maybe five or six times. I walked to the back and I'm like, do you have
any of these in a women's eight or a men's
six and a half? And they're like, nope, not a single one
to even try on. I've done it so many times. So I just had to, I just had
to take the risk. These are a women's eights.
and I got them from
Bandier
Bandia
B-A-N-D-I-E-R
They had some of them
So these are the ones I landed on
So happy for you
Thanks
These are my new sneaks
On to add to
You got anything else?
Yeah we're going to call this the meaningless
Podcasts just meaningless thoughts
And comments are coming out
I actually have something lined up
After you
All right cool
We'll just like bounce back
Let's see how many meaningless things
We can talk about
My next thing
How do you feel about
wearing socks over your leggings because I was getting my hair blown out on Friday and the stylist
next to me looked down at her feet and she was like, by the way, no, I'll leave. I'll keep it in.
She looked down at her feet and she was like, oh my God, I've been wearing my socks over my leggings
all day. And then she like made sure to tell all the other stylists, including the one doing my
hair who's now distracted over your fucking socks
of your leggings, who cares? Yeah. She's like,
look at me, I'm so dumb. Look,
look, I put my socks over my leggings.
I'm sitting there, like, boiling. I'm like, nobody gives a fuck.
Yeah, because it's, it's something that people do.
It's just something that as a choice also. And then my
stylist is like, how would you do that?
Meanwhile, like my hair brushes like stuck in my hair,
blow dryer, blow in this way. She's like, why would you do that?
She's like, I don't know. I'm so silly. Like, I
wasn't even paying attention this morning.
I was, I refrained from joining in this conversation, but I was like, why, who cares?
Sometimes, I actually would prefer if you wore your socks over your likings.
For me, personally, it really depends on the shoe.
You know, it depends on the sneaker.
Low like that.
I like with the higher socks.
And new balance, so it's like a dad thing.
Yes.
And it's like, exactly.
I feel like it's part of the look.
Now my, like sometimes with like my low dunks, I think it can kind of look silly.
Ankle socks.
Ankle.
Or like if you have jeans over, who cares, you can't see it.
Converse, always high socks.
Also, these are the first time I'm wearing these.
And sometimes when you're breaking in a new sneaker, the low socks, they can, they can rub, they can rub, rub, rub, rub, rub, rub, rub, rub.
You get a little cut on your ankle.
The back of the ankle.
And you just don't.
Exactly.
Add an extra layer.
We're traveling, so I didn't want to risk it, so I went with the high socks.
And high socks for travel is nice.
It is.
And you feel comfortable and cozy.
People say that, you know, compression-wise, it's good for you.
Yeah, what was your?
Because I have one more.
Okay, so jumping off from the hair thing.

I was messaging with Serena
Pitt the other day because she got her hair done
and she posted on her story.
She went to Evita, like beautiful, you know.
I think she said I was like head stylist,
like a guy that knows what he's doing.
And she posted that he told her
that we should be washing our hair every day.
And I wrote back,
I literally replied to her story.
I go, you just ruined my life.
Like, how come all the TikTok girlies are telling me never to wash my hair?
And this guy who's an expert, I think he really is an expert, says, you've got to take
care of your scalp.
So you got to be washing your hair every day.
I'm like, I can't do every day.
And she was like, I really trust this guy.
And it just threw me off.
Let me tell you, they are constantly changing the rules of life.
Because it was once said that washing your hair every day will dry out your hair.
Yeah.
And your hair won't be.
great. And now I don't wash my hair
and I actually refuse to wash my hair. We'll get to that.
But it's almost like when they say
cracking knuckles will cause
arthritis. They took that away.
They took that statement away.
They said,
they did. They said, crack all you want.
It's not caused an arthritis.
Cracking is actually good for you.
That's actually breaking news for me because I still
thought that. No. Like any time I would be like, I'd be like,
ooh. Cracking is great. Oh, I crack my hips like
it's nobody's business. I'm a SpongeBob.
around town all the time. Well, your hips crack at a loud pop. And my chiropractor that I haven't seen
in years said to me at the time, no, it's totally fine that your hips crack. Like, it's cool.
On the topic of washing your hair that you just mentioned, remember my rant about my facial
lady? Yeah. And she said to me, in the span of one week, I saw this nonsense about washing your
hair every day. And she said to me, you need to wash your hair every day. And I said,
excuse me, I listened to everything you say to me. Yeah. You are my God.
I listen to whatever she adds four steps to my skincare routine.
I'm doing it.
Yep.
I will not be washing my hair every day.
I just won't be.
How do you expect me to get a blowout and then wash it again the next day?
I'm spending $50 on a blowout.
I'm not washing my hair the next day.
I'm going to keep it for as long as it works, Honeybunch.
I'm not washing my hair.
I actually know what I said to her.
And I don't speak like this.
Yeah.
And I couldn't believe it came out of my mouth.
I said, why do you think my hair is so great?
I don't wash it every day.
And I said, I can't believe I just said that.
But it's like the one thing that I can like confidently say I like is my hair.
Yeah.
And I don't wash it every day.
And it looks great.
So you just got to keep doing what you're doing because they just change the rules.
I get, sometimes I'm like maybe the opposite.
Everybody's hair's different is the thing too.
Like I did feel like I have now gone longer with washing my hair.
And I have felt that I've got some scalp build up.
And I'm like, maybe I should be washing it more.
I don't know.
I'm experimenting.
We'll see what happens.
Listen, you do you.
Let me know how it works out for you.
Because what a journey.
Like I can't, that's what I said.
I was like, imagine I can't blow dry my hair every single day.
No, God, that's a chore.
I'd rather get the scalp build up.
I know, same.
I went to solid core class yesterday.
And I've been going, the first time I mentioned going,
I've been going consistently, guys.
I love it.
But yesterday was the first day I hated the person.
person next to me.
Genuinely loathed.
Like I was like...
Show off or...
No, first class.
And she was just posing the whole time.
Like she was just checking herself out in the mirror the whole time.
Like she would like...
Yeah.
She would start to do a move and then she would stop and like pose in the mirror.
Yeah.
And you know, we were doing um, triceps.
Yeah.
And she was like, there's a mirror behind you and there's a mirror in front of you.
And it was kneeling.
So we're like, I'm gonna act.
I can't believe you're...
Okay.
And we're like...
You're kneeling on the thing
and we're going like this.
Yeah.
Right?
Yeah.
And you're looking forward, okay?
Or you're focus on something on the ground.
Yeah.
You are not looking behind you.
The entire time, she's like this.
Checking out her ass the whole time.
And then she would stop and go.
Did she look good?
She looked great.
Yeah.
But I was like, this is so, like, you can tell everyone was like,
just in the middle, just posing in the middle of the,
every move, just posing in the middle of the class,
just not doing any of the moves.
And then the instructor would be like, oh, you could look to the person next to you to see how to do it.
And she'd just like take another glance at herself.
She didn't have to be there.
She looked great.
Yeah.
But I guess she wanted to try it out.
Well, she just really wanted the double mirrors.
She wanted to stare at herself the whole time, I think.
Yeah.
But it was, it was distracting because then I was looking at her.
I almost was she like pulled out her phone and took pictures, like in the middle of the class.
Oh, don't worry.
She took a bunch before.
Oh, and a bunch after.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I was like, listen, how are people going to know?
How will people know that it was her first class?
But the thing is, you're taking all these pictures.
I feel like you can't, your first class.
No.
You got, like, when I showed up to my first class,
like my head was tucked so far almost into my asshole
because I was so afraid to be there.
Like, I was like, I'm so scared to be here.
I'm so intimidated by everybody.
I was not, I mean, I love the confidence.
But at the same time, in the middle of the workout,
you're just checking yourself out the whole time.
Yeah.
What's the point?
Yeah.
You know, I think I've officially run out.
Really?
I could talk about random stuff all night long.
I mean, I was, like, well, just, I went to the gym.
That was cool.
I went for a run yesterday.
How was that?
Brutal.
Well, just like when you don't run and then you run, it's tough.
I actually really don't know what that feels like at all.
I have never run, like, as exercise before in my life ever.
The only time I run through Central Park.
No, the only time I ran was they made us run.
in cheerleading in high school,
we'd have to run the track as part of the tri-out.
Like one mile?
Yeah, I mean, like, running in basketball practice in high school, sure,
but as, like, like, being, never being, like,
sitting at home and jumping up and say,
I'm going on a run.
I have never done that.
Never.
And I never will.
I tried to do it, I tried to do it, like, two summers ago with some of my friends
in, we were in a house in the Hamptons,
and they were going for a run.
I was like, you know what?
I'll try with you guys
And if you just see me
Fall Back walking, I'm good
Just, you know, leave me be
And I hated every second
I hated every single second.
I was thinking yesterday while I was running like
If anyone saw me like who knew me
I look like so pathetic
Like just like I'm
I have flat feet
Like just huffing and puffing
Yeah probably looks like I'm barely even running
My guy friends in high school used to make fun of the way I run all the time
they would like literally make me run in the hallway
and just to make fun of me because I'm the worst.
I look like Forrest Gump.
Well, you, you shuffle when you walk
and I feel like that translates into running.
Yeah, they just like, my likes don't know which way they're going when I'm running.
So I will never voluntarily go on a run ever.
No, I can promise that.
You will not catch me.
A nice brisk walk.
I love walking.
Love a walk.
The walking.
Love a walk.
Like, I'm falling.
It's just like you need to set aside so much time, which I like.
But if I'm trying to get a quick one.
workout and it's like I can't go for a two hour walk.
You can go for a 45 minute walk.
I know, but that doesn't equal.
Like I was trying to do walking, equaling, instead of running, but like still getting
the same.
You know what I'm saying?
But like, I need more time for that.
Like, I can do a 30 minute run and it'll, I'll get what I would have gotten from
like a two hour walk.
Does that make sense?
No, I get what you're saying, but.
That's a battle of your own.
You'll have to figure out.
You will not be joining you on the run dream.
Yeah.
I am so.
Like, I just, I feel like people probably turn this off.
No.
No.
And if they did, that's okay.
Speaking of hair.
Because here comes a big, no.
If nobody's listening right now, that's all right.
Yeah.
I was going to say, speaking of hair, because you guys were just talking about hair.
We're getting, we're inch and closer to my hair.
Right.
We are. Subscribe on YouTube.
18,000 more, less than 18,000 away on YouTube, subscribers.
If you're not subscribed, you're missing out on hearing these riveting conversations on video.
Yeah.
It's actually better on video.
video. Yeah. How you wouldn't have seen reenacting those tricep girls. Yeah. I wonder what
she's doing today. I wonder if I wonder if she's going to go back. It was impressive. I was like,
I have never disliked somebody next to me before and this person I dislike. All right. There's a
couple, there's a couple things we can catch up on. You're antsy about the fact that we,
you're like to happen. Like, it's going to be okay. We talk three times a week. The people have
to understand. Oh no, no, no.
Sometimes. Honestly, it wasn't happening because of that. I'm getting real hungry.
I'm sorry. Yeah. My food's been sitting out there for 45 minutes.
Quick, quick pop culture update then.
All right, we talked a little bit about hair care and our scalp buildup, which was quite nice.
Yes. And the fix for that is none other than Way. We love the anti-dandruff.
We're watching whether we're washing it every day or washing it once a week. We're using Way.
Anti-dandruff shampoo gives it a nice little scrub, gets rid of that scalp buildup. Yes, I know. You've exclaimed that.
Scream it from the rooftops. My scout build-up. She uses way to get rid of that. And I love Way products. I use the detox shampoo. The leaving conditioner I use every time I wash my hair. I use the way body scrub, the way cream after I get out of the shower. I love Way products. I love the way they smell. And I have been using Way for years now.
I am so attached to Way. I honestly have trust issues with other hair care products because I am so
attached to Way. Right now, you guys can try Way, whether you have fine, medium, or thick hair.
Way is just your type. And you can nourish your hair every day and keep it looking. It's best with the
shampoo and conditioner from Way. Get on your way to healthier hair one day at a time with shampoos

Anwar Hadid has said that those Instagram posts were not about Doolipo's new boyfriend
and that everyone needs to get a life.
Anwar, you can't post stuff like that and expect us not to be concerned.
Yeah.
I think you need a life.
something was going on there
and it
is still
concerning
like regardless of what
he is saying that
it wasn't about that
I don't know
I don't believe him
he said that his followers must have been bored
crazy out the internet will just
make a whole article
will just make whole articles about shit
they don't know about
y'all are bored as fuck sorry
I mean maybe don't post
on your Instagram story trying to not
trying not to find and kill him
like that's like your followers
are going to want to be graphic thing to post about
your followers are going to wonder who you want to kill
yeah I feel like anybody
imagine like one of us just posted on her
stories being like
trying to find and kill her
and people will be like
what
yeah and then we just said oh you guys are
you're the crazy one why do you guys care
yeah you got to find a life you're so bored
like no we're just
is concerned for you and for somebody else's well-being.
Yeah.
There was a rumor that Tom Sandoval had a new lady in his life, an influencer named Carly Hale,
but allegedly, well, I mean, Sandoval's rep.
Sandoval's rep must be working O.T.
Sanneville's rep said that they're just friends.
Sanibals' rep needs some sleep in a Xanax.
Yeah.
Because that person must be up at all hours of the night trying to deal with this man.
Yeah, he recently hung out with her because he happened to be in Austin before.
performing with his band.
And there was pictures of them hanging out together.
They were with other people in their group as well.
And that's it.
Just friends, not dating.
Who would willingly date Sandoval after having two public toxic relationships?
Like the one with Kristen early on, early 20s.
Like, you know, maybe that was just a one-off bad relationship.
Then you get the 10-year one that just seems God-awful.
It's like, what willing person is going to put themselves to the shoes to date Sandoval?
I know.
And truly, it'll just be somebody who wants their name on page six.
And somebody's like, I straight up want to be disrespected in a relationship.
Then you date Sandoval.
I want someone who is going to show me no respect, who's going to cross every boundary, who's just going to be awful, and then go perform cover band songs.
Yeah.
Put me with Sandoval.
Ariana also really threw everybody off yesterday because she posted like about to dip out and she had all these boxes behind her so everyone was like yeah she's moving out like woohoo but in reality it was just like it was for an ad she's partnered with i think sophy i'm glad she's getting that money she's definitely getting that money which is a good thing for sure but um i got excited that she was moving out so i feel like that was you know a little a little bit of a fake out neither of them can find another place to stay in the meantime it's shocking to me yeah
You know, I think it's kind of like who makes the first move, right?
Like it's my house, you leave.
It's my house, you leave.
Who's going to surrender first and leave?
Classic standoff.
Yeah, exactly.
Like, it's both of their house.
Like, they, you know.
Right.
So.
Update on Croy, Beerman, and Kim Zulziak.
Croy claims that Kim has an insane gambling problem.
I feel like they're just...
I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh.
That's just a funny headline.
I feel like they're just really going to put whatever they can out there.
He's saying that she has an intense gambling problem.
This is going to get messy.
For sure.
She can't pay her bills.
They're in their money trouble because she has a gambling problem.
I'd love to know what her vice is.
Does she like a little online casino?
Is she sports better?
Where does Kim fall?
What is she gambling?
Is it everything? Does she go to the casino?
Is it on her phone? Do she bet online?
I'd like to know, you know, what's her drug of choice?
It's been one week since the Gossip Girl account tweeted that picture of the old cast and everybody freaked out.
And there's just been nothing from that.
Like, what a weird thing to post and then just not have any follow up.
They posted, welcome back, Upper Eastiders.
After a long time away, I see it didn't take much time for you to dirty up the clean slates I gave you.
hashtag gossip girl with the with the picture of the old cast
is that just like a hit the new show like oh this
new show sucks just pop it in to say the new show sucks
just popping in to say you guys sullied our good name with this trash
new show sucks exoXOXO gossip girl
that show got canceled right yeah yeah it was not good
I didn't watch it I dabbled in like two episodes and then that was it
But that's it.
Like, is it just because they want people to stream the old episodes on HBO Max?
Yeah, they want to beat the newer show.
Max.
So dumb.
It's May 23rd.
Today's the day.
It's now just Max.
And I realized that this morning because I downloaded the Bama Rush documentary to watch on the flight.
And I had to update my app to just Max.
Just Max.
And just like that, it was just Max.
Just like that, that's the end of the show.
And we have a great interview with Kendall.
Honestly, I hope everyone stayed long enough to listen to Kendall because it's so good.
And she was so great.
And don't let our foolishness and unprofessionalism teeter you away.
If that even is the word deter you away from watching the interview with Kendall.
Yeah.
Talking about like important stuff and she's so great.
Yes.
And way more important than what we just talked about.
Honestly, forget everything I just said.
The girl next means Alcor was completely fine.
honestly if she wants to check herself out she can check herself out yeah whatever you also have the
freedom to judge her if you want that's true so you're right we have the freedom to judge anybody and
anybody has the freedom to judge us and they do and they do and they do judge us you didn't do it to her
face you said it's not in your head until you came in here and said it on the podcast yeah and then I
told all of you it's about how annoyed I was you know but that's okay maybe a reflection yeah
myself yeah um all right just watch the interview

Thank you guys.
The world's most refreshing podcast.
Yes.
All right, everyone, we are here with a very special guest.
We are joined by the lovely, beloved Peloton instructor, Kendall Tool.
Hi.
Thank you guys for having me.
I'm so excited.
So we're so excited to have you.
We met you years ago at like a workout class a couple years ago.
And then I don't know.
what happened. I mean, I bought my parents
a Palaton like, I don't know, a couple of years ago.
I started seeing you on there.
And then I, you just blew up on
TikTok. Like, I would go on my TikTok and they were just, I would just
be, see video after video of you. And I'm like, oh my God,
the people are obsessed with Kendall. And I remember meeting you. I'm like,
I met her. I know her. We know her. We went out with her. I know. I remember
when you guys took her last. Yeah. Yeah. I was like, we follow each other on
Instagram. And I'm like, she's all over
TikTok. How does that feel? People.
People are obsessed with you.
It's kind of weird.
I'm not going to lie.
It's one of those things I find myself truly.
I find myself very annoying.
And I'm shocked.
I think people do too and they're kind of laughing at it.
I think that's part of what it is.
But I said something really,
really dumb because sometimes we say things we don't have filters.
Right.
All the time.
And somebody took that clip of it and it kind of went really viral very fast to the point
that even my brother would go to work.
And they're like, is your sister, the girl that said?
And he's like, yeah.
And he'd call me.
He's like, what the hell, Kendall?
I was like, sorry, it just came out.
Can you explain, like, the cold brew thing to me?
Like, is that what that was about?
It was about the cold brew.
So, I, believe it or not, I don't like coffee.
Like, I have iced tea in there.
That is it.
I drink unsweetened iced tea.
We love ice tea.
Thank you.
I love ice tea.
Like, I went to the South recently, they're like, you don't want sugar.
I'm like, ew, why?
Yeah, no.
That's disgusting.
So, I always drink tea.
And ice tea with some lemon.
Oh.
Or like the passion fruit flavor.
Yeah.
Oh, that tropical little infusion.
Any sort of a little, maybe a little raspberry.
Yeah.
A little.
Yeah, love it. And so I just took cold brew before my classes. I think it was like a nervous tick.
So I was like, I need something to like jolt me up. And we teach a lot. I know you guys had Cody on here. We're always like I took I taught three classes yesterday. Two people. One recorded after had a bunch of meetings. I'm tired and I'm getting older. Not like older, older, but I'm like 30 hit. And so I was like, I need something to jolt me up. And so I take like, I just have the, we have these little cold brews at work. And I'm like, whatever, a little swig of it. That day, I think I got pressured because clearly.
I'm an adult and get peer pressure by the people in the crowd and they were like chug, chug, chug.
So I chugged this probably 16 ounces of cold brew.
Didn't even think anything of it.
That hit so hard.
I mean, that was like full energy drink times five.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, that came out of my mouth.
I was like, no.
Yeah.
Not to like make it gross, but like that could literally make you like shit your pants.
I'm a lucky person.
Pretty quick.
I know.
That's what people say they're like, how do you not have stomach issues?
And I was like, well, first off, I don't eat before I teach.
It's coming out of your mouth.
I was shitting the wrong ass
I was shitting the wrong ass
Yeah, a word about it was coming out
But no people love you
They love your energy
You know people I know they love you
Because they love your music choices
That you, you know
I'm not a big like
Cycler
Is that what it's called?
It's all cycle
Whatever you want to call it.
But I like I said
I got my parents a Pelt on for Christmas
a couple years ago
Yeah
And the classes that I do take
If I'm home and I jump on the bike
I go to you
Yeah my boyfriend's also
I'm a big Kendall down.
We have one in our apartment.
Oh, that's what's so funny when people tell me that.
I'm like, listen, let me yell at them for you.
Like, if you're pissed at him, have him take a metal ride.
I am absolutely evil.
And then it's handled.
Like, I'm here to help.
He'll be like, I'm hanging out with Kendall.
I'm like, okay.
You're like, okay, babe, have fun with that.
I'm sure she knows.
What inspires your music choices?
Because I feel like that's like what I hear about besides your great energy and personality.
people are like, I love the music she plays, gets us through the class.
It's honestly just like, what do I want to ride to?
And frankly, I never really taught cycling before this.
You guys know I taught boxing before.
Like, that's really my forte.
So if I'm going to be clipped in to a machine and not going anywhere, I need something to keep the motor up.
Like, there's no way I could just cycle to something boring.
So, yeah, it's always finding new music, finding new mixes.
I'm a big hip-hop girl.
Same.
Big rock girl.
Yep.
I love E.m.
I kind of love everything.
So when you find those good crossover.
It's how I am besides country.
It's like, no.
I can change you.
I can get you on the country chain.
It's different now.
It's been tried before, Kendall.
I am determined I could do it.
I like, what is it?
I like, like, country rock, because I like rock.
Like Hardy.
Do you like Hardy?
I love Hardy.
Hardy's a good friend.
So I think I'm also biased because of that.
Yes, he's, you know, a friend.
But I love, like, he's more like rock.
He is.
He's got the country, like the southern rock.
Yeah.
Somebody just did, was it, somebody just did a bit, a country pop.
Do you ever do country pop?
I just started doing country pop because of people like, honestly, I was very anti-country for a long time.
So it probably was you because I know like, I got converted.
My friends in our group chat will send rides that we really like to each other.
And then it had to have been you because my friend was like this, they love, they love like the country pop.
Yeah.
Especially like the more like Shania type vibe.
And that is.
that is fun.
Do you like the country pop?
You can get in a good mood with it.
Yeah.
Like King Brown is really good cross-upers.
Got like hip-hop influence there.
I'm interested.
No, no.
I was like, no.
I'm like, listen.
I hear you.
I don't see.
I'm listening, but I walked into a workout class the other day and they were playing music like before the class started.
And it was country music and I texted my boyfriend and I was like if this is a country class in the late night.
I'm literally talking out.
I will eat this price.
Yeah.
The music started punching.
and it was totally opposite.
It was like all hip hop.
And I was like,
they have to warn somebody
if they're going to do like a strictly country class.
That's the,
I got to be warned about that.
But what I want to know is,
and I've never even having coding on,
I feel like I never even asked him this question.
But when you say you're teaching a class,
like can you go through the different classes
that you teach?
Because obviously you are recording some
for Peloton, Peloton app.
You are teaching some in person,
I assume, like what is your schedule?
Live ones.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So everything for the most part is live.
So the majority of my schedule, we teach live, and it is broadcast all over the world to whoever has a bike or whoever has the app available.
You can watch everything on an app like life hack.
You can always, I don't know if they're going to get mad at me for saying this.
You can have the app and, you know, get on a machine.
You see all the glasses.
You get everything.
Like there is no gatekeeping.
But definitely what's kind of wild about is everything is live.
So if I say something, as we know, if I don't, it's all there.
Yes, we do have a delay where we could kind of edit it, maybe, not really.
And then I record classes as well.
And so sometimes ever since the pandemic kind of eased out, we invited people back in a class,
which that's like a whole thing.
You guys have to come.
I would love to come.
Yeah.
I would totally come.
You have, okay.
I'm not.
I'm not.
I'm not.
I'm not.
It's fine.
You don't, you can say no.
I'm not going to push it too much.
I would love to come to a class in person with you.
I am not a great.
You were like a cycler.
Oh, but you were like, but Kendall's, Kendall's is like, I have said I used to
know.
I have done them before.
But I am not, that's not my life, where I thrive.
But I would do it for you, Kendall.
Oh, well, okay, great.
I'm going to hold you guys to it.
It'll be fun.
It's fun because it's a really wild room.
There's also a lot of the groups of people that ride Peloton are super, super into it.
As I'm sure, you know, especially people's parents.
A lot of people's parents are into it.
My sister's a dedicated Peloton fan.
I love it.
How old is she?
She's 31.
Yeah, I feel like that's like our sweet spot.
I'm like, hey, like, we have cool younger people.
My sister's cool.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There you go.
31's not old.
No, it's not at all.
No, I know, totally.
It's just interesting where people are like,
oh, my parents do that.
I'm like, yeah, there's actually fun stuff on it,
especially half the stuff that comes out of Cody's mouth.
Oh my gosh, I don't know how it gets away with it, too late.
I'm like, dude, you have the golden ticket hall past to say whatever you want to say.
Well, you know, but it's already.
He's already.
He did.
That was him.
When you establish it early, that's then people expect you.
Instead of like years later, you start to throw crazy stuff out there like,
oh, who is this person?
They're changing their brand now.
I've been doing it from the beginning.
And then when you say that, people are like, oh, he's always been like that.
Oh, no, that is him.
That is absolutely.
And like even more so off the bike, which I love.
But yes, we have the live classes.
Everything that we teach is pretty much live.
Then we'll record a couple things in a row.
And then sometimes now at this point, I'd say probably about like 40% of what I teach is with people in the room.
So that's where, yeah, it's really fun.
So do you like when there's people in the room?
I do.
It's just a lot of energy because like I'm hyping them up at the beginning.
Right.
You're holding that space.
Then we go live.
Then you're teaching a class.
And for example, yesterday, we taught two back-to-back classes with people in the room.
So we have like a 10-minute turnaround between the classes.
We don't have like an MC or a hype person.
So I'm like, all right.
Yeah, you're just really like you're in it.
And then we have about probably 45 minutes to an hour of meeting everybody who was in the class after.
Oh, cool.
Yeah.
So we meet everybody, which is really fun and you hear their life stories and take photos.
That's awesome.
So is it really hard to come to a live class with you guys?
Because, I mean, people.
It's hard.
It's very hard to get into everyone.
Right.
You guys are like very famous now.
You like people.
I like cringe at that thought.
I know.
I feel like even saying it to you, you're probably like stop.
But like at the same time it is true.
Like people really are dedicated to you guys.
They, you know, it feels like you're their friend that's also helping them at the same time.
Do you get a lot of people like obviously on the street?
They're like, oh my God, Kendall.
Yeah.
It's kind of wild.
Airports are especially pretty funny.
Yeah.
And they have that moment.
I was in Texas.
You guys will laugh at this.
I played cornhole for public broadcast on ESPN the other day.
It didn't go too hot.
But we had a lot of fun, y'all.
We had a lot of fun.
It was great.
The food was great.
But even going through the airport or walking around in places people don't think that they'd see you,
there's this, oh, my gosh.
And they're like, oh, I've ridden with you for a year.
And you got me through this, which is so sweet.
But it's kind of funny because they know you really well because I'm teaching almost every single day.
Like my life, I just share with them because what else am I going to talk about?
It's almost like having a podcast as you know.
Yeah.
I'm sure it's probably like for you guys.
will probably come up and are like, oh my gosh, like when you talked about this, all of that.
And you're like, you have a relationship with me, but I don't have a relationship with you.
And I want to make sure I make you feel good, but I feel kind of awkward.
Yeah.
They almost feel like you're a video game character in some aspects.
Yes.
Yeah.
You're like this archetype.
And then you almost feel pressure.
Like, I hope I'm not like letting down this vision you have a view in your head.
I am in person.
Here I am.
What was your, what was your journey to Peloton?
Because like we said, obviously, with like the boxing background, what pulls you to Peloton?
When I tell you I did not ever plan to be in fitness. I mean, I never planned. I went to film school at SC. I cheered at SC, graduated, thought I was going to go like film production route. That's what I wanted to do was working on film sets. Ended up working for this big startup that I'm not going to name, but it wasn't the best culture. Got out of there and then had to figure it out. I was super broke. Like I was living in a friend's barely basement in Laurel Canyon. I'm not joking. Like the ceiling was maybe six feet tall and thank goodness I'm like five foot nothing. So I could fit. It was my little hobbit home.
And I lived in there and would go and teach classes at the studio you guys met me at, the one that we opened in L.A.
And was thinking, I don't know how long I can do this.
I don't know what's going to happen with my life.
I feel like I'm meant to do something else.
And then Peloton slid into my DMs.
Wow.
Asking me to audition.
And I was like, well, I'm broke as hell.
Yeah.
Of course I will go to New York for free and audition for something.
And then Cody kind of helped me with the audition process.
He like helped me figure out.
I never taught a cycling class in my life because I wasn't a cycling early.
So I get it.
and I was like, whatever, let's see what happens.
And then the audition went really well, went through the interview process.
And then let's see, I landed.
It was Memorial, actually, it was Memorial Day weekend, so upcoming.
Goodness, it'll be four years.
Four years of this, four years ago.
That's awesome.
I mean, we followed you on Instagram, like, way back when we met you and I remember
you making that transition.
And I was like, wow, that's so cool.
Like, good for her.
That's awesome.
Thanks.
So congratulations.
Thank you.
Yeah.
It does feel like it would.
the fitness like lottery right like it's like I'm like well that's about as yeah that's about as big as it gets
I'm like well I'm at the top of the mountain here yeah so cool it's amazing and what happened over
pandemic was not how just how big it got yeah that was shocking you can do a lot at home yeah and now so
many avenues have opened up for you with with having this spot um what do you use this platform the most now
I know that you're a big mental health advocate yeah and uh you want to talk a little bit about
how it's Mental Health Awareness Month here.
And I feel like you use that in Peloton
and so many people come up to you and say that fitness does help that.
It does. It really does.
I think a big thing for me was I was on this platform
and I was doing it for about a year.
I don't know.
You know when people have a perception of you of, okay,
she's a chick from California.
She's fake blonde, but she's really bubbly, whatever.
And it was like I didn't have any problems.
And meanwhile, behind the scenes, like,
I've dealt with anxiety and depression my whole life.
I really had a tough bout with it.
really hard in college, particularly senior year. And it's always been something I've been dealing with.
And so I was like, I kind of felt like a fraud in a lot of ways, like big imposter syndrome.
Okay, everybody thinks that I'm on this little pedestal and everything's perfect. And I'm like,
behind the scenes, so much else always goes on. So I kind of just started over pandemic.
Maybe it was also being locked in my studio apartment at the time, as it was for a lot of us.
I was like, let me just talk about this. So I started talking on Instagram about having anxiety,
depression about dealing with mental health and that started opening up I was like wait there's
something here like I want to start talking about this it's really freeing it's connecting to other people
and then actually this will be the third year that we're doing mental health awareness classes
so mine dropped yesterday on the platform which is awesome they're really they're like an emotional
journey it's a physical journey emotional journey but it's really cool to help kind of create that
space where we have to talk about these things and it's normal and it's awkward and weird and
weirdly funny sometimes and so trying to normalize that I think
is really important. Right, absolutely. And like I said, so many people relate to that and they feel
so comfortable having somebody like you that they look up to and they see like, like you said,
this person from California, beautiful. It looks like it has it all. They're going to make you like,
everyone. No, why? No, I appreciate that so much, but it like, it still throws me up here.
But it's just like one of those things where you're like, wow, I can relate to this person.
Totally. Yeah. And we go through it. No, I agree. I mean, I felt this same way you always feel
comfortable when you hear somebody that has
a similar story, similar vibe.
Like we both did not finish college, but we were both here
when that happened. But, you know, like for me personally, my freshman year of
school was God awful. But I was the same kind of way. No one knew. I didn't tell
anyone. I hid it from everybody. Hit it from my family. And it was like, now
looking back, I was like, that was like a full-blown depression that I did not really know
what was happening to me
and post getting out of it
and like I you know I left school
I went to different schools and then I ended up
not finishing and more here
which you know worked out in the best possible way ever
for all of us exactly it always works out
but you do feel like that outside
noise when those things are happening like
what are people saying about me
what are they talking about
they have this idea of who I am
and it's not really who I am
so it's very nice to like hear you
talking about all that stuff too because there's so many
I think young people
who feel like they have to be
perfect. Yeah. Totally. And also to the
point of like you said where
you may be going through that but at the time
you don't know that's what it is. You don't know
that it's anxiety. You don't know that it's depression.
And then once you come out of it, you go, wow, I was
really dealing with something there and now I
have the answers and now I can
sort of work through that after
it has passed but like what did that
do to me during it? And
And once you hear somebody talk about it.
Right. And then once you hear somebody talk about it, you go, oh, I'm going through that right now.
It clicks.
Exactly.
It clicks where you go, oh, it's okay.
It's okay to feel like that's happening to me.
It's happening to millions of other people.
Literally millions of other people.
Literally millions of people every single day.
And like you said, you say, oh, it sometimes feels like because you are successful and you have great things in your life that you're not allowed to deal with it.
And people say that about celebrities all the time, right?
they go, oh, this person, oh, the Kardashians are complaining about this.
They're complaining about that.
And it's like, you know, they, like, as silly as it sounds like they are people too and, like, people have feelings deep inside.
Yes.
And just because they're a celebrity doesn't mean that they're immune to feeling those things.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, no, totally.
And then, like, in that spot for me, it was like, great school, great friends.
Why am I feeling?
Like, I shouldn't feel this way, but I do.
And that's like you tell yourself that like something's wrong.
Like you're like how do I something must be wrong with me like.
Yeah.
I have everything going.
Yeah.
It's this weird.
Yeah.
It's the should and shouldn't and shouldn't and couldn't.
Yeah.
Like I shouldn't feel this way.
I have it all laid out.
Like I was the same thing.
I got great grades at school.
I mean it was USC.
Yeah.
I mean, half the people on here I feel like went to you.
There's.
It is the weirdest bubble of a university.
Let me tell you.
Well, you know, a lot of the.
them hit it big after. Yeah, well, it helps when a lot of people have a lot of connections already
not that it's bad to be an Epo kid or an Epo baby, whatever. It's all good. It's all what you feel.
LA world. That's L.A. totally. And that's the epitome of it. But yeah, I mean, I had everything
going for me. And I also had this pressure that I would put on myself where I was like, my parents have
done so much and people have made sacrifices for me to be here. And I want to make sure that I'm not
letting them down. But in the effort to not let other people down, I was totally denying myself.
and I was just falling apart at the scenes
like I would walk through the world
and I was like I just felt so numb
I could put on the face
I mean I was cheerleading
I was literally bopping around
like I was the happiest smile all the time
yeah you literally have to and I loved it
and it was a weird thing because
when I was cheering or when I was in class
or doing things that I had to perform
I loved performing because it was the one place
I didn't have to feel how I really felt
but I realized I was performing my entire life
I think that's something the older generation
has had to be more open
to talking about because I know like
when you have older either parents, grandparents,
whoever, they'd be like, but she looks so.
They're like, but I just spoke to her and everything was fine.
And then they feel like they get, sometimes almost get mad because they're like,
well, then was she lying to me?
Yeah, she was hiding this from us?
Yeah, like, not on purpose.
Yeah, no, it's like, and if I told you.
Not on purpose.
And also, like, I didn't even know that was what was happening with me.
But now I realize that's what was happening.
I can look back.
Yeah.
Especially when you're in that place mentally, like it's very hard to be able to trust your intuition versus your thoughts.
You don't know what's really you, what's not really you.
And you start to realize or you start to think the way that my brain is thinking these messages that I'm getting, that must be who I am.
And once you learn later on, obviously, thank you.
So much therapy that I've done to continue to do therapy.
All my girlfriends do it too.
It's great.
Like all of our conversations now are like proxy conversations for a therapist.
So we're always, right.
My friends are very similar in that.
I mean, well, my therapist said I'm like, all right.
Well, my friend said this.
So can we have them like, let's have a little
common moment talking about it?
But yeah, you don't realize
kind of how much you put up that front.
And I think it is hard.
And that's why being able to talk about it.
And I'm really happy with Peloton
and with how many people that we've reached
a lot of people's parents too.
I'm like, hey, I'm going to be the one that looks like your kid
that talks about mental health.
So hopefully you can realize, oh,
I'm dealing with that.
Because it is.
And it runs in families.
Right.
Right?
A couple years ago, somebody said to me
I feel like this is a common saying now.
I see it all the time
that anxiety is just conspiracy theories about yourself
where you were mentioning that your intuition
versus like what's actually real and fake.
You don't know when you were dealing with anxiety.
And that's kind of saying like you're just making shit up
about yourself sometimes.
And you don't know what's real or not.
Yeah.
You're like, I don't know.
I'm like, is this really true?
Does everyone really hate me?
Do I feel this way because it's true
or do I feel this way because I'm anxious?
Yeah.
Yeah.
And learning to take that.
And I do this in class a lot.
And I learned it.
I cannot take credit for it.
It was Huberman.
because he's brilliant.
Yes.
But it's that psychological size.
So it's the two inhales and then you hold your breath and you exhale.
And I always start class this way for that reason.
And even in a flat road when we're chilling or semi-chilling, the very minimal time I get people to relax.
I have them do the same thing because it brings your heart rate down and it gets yourself back into your body.
Because when you're in your head, you're so up here, you're not breathing.
You're not getting oxygen to your brain.
When you don't get oxygen to your brain, you're not able to think clearly.
It's essentially like a car on super minimal gas.
It's going to start to sputter out.
it's not going to, you know, operate as well.
Same thing.
So getting back into your breath and getting back into your body is just kind of that like e-break moment.
We're like, wait, hold on.
Now I can have the discerning moment and say, is this really me or is this my anxiety?
Or just be able to pump the brakes for a second and just take yourself out of that headspace.
It's a really crappy place to live.
Do you feel like now that, because you said you never really imagined yourself getting fully into fitness?
And now that you're fully in it, do you think that that has helped with your mess?
health in general now that you were learning all these, like you said, the breathing techniques
and different ways to cope with it and just learning, I feel like you're learning more and more
every single day. Totally. And I think that's where the physical movement is so important for me.
I didn't realize at the time, too, like I started learning how to box. I had an awesome mentor,
who was this film director who had a boxing gym in the west side in California. And we met after
one of my classes. I was one of those really obnoxious kids. It's like, hi, I want to work with you.
Oh, I was so bad. I cringe.
Thank God he was just, he took pity on me and was like, his advice was great, by the way, anyone younger, he was like, go get arrested.
That was the first one.
He's like, go lose all your money.
Go get your heartbroken.
You have nothing to, to freaking say.
Like, you have no stories to tell because you haven't lived your life.
And I was like, okay.
Meanwhile, went to Italy that summer, got my heartbroken, got robbed on a tram.
What else happened?
Oh, I couldn't get arrested.
Well, I made friends with the cops.
I was going to say, I feel like, I mean, there were a time.
You got out of me.
No, I mean, we would all have.
We were like a high episode about this trip.
Oh, that was a life-changing, incredible trip.
But that's kind of where the depression really started for me.
And I didn't even realize it at the time.
But I went back, started working with him.
And then he was like, you're a lot.
He was like, you need to get it out somewhere.
So I would go to the boxing gym.
And he covered my training.
Just, I think he took pity and knew that I had a lot going on.
And that helped me so much.
And that's what started the fitness journey, really, was learning how to box.
Because the one place that I couldn't be in my head was when I was throwing a punch.
or getting hit.
Let me tell you, it's one thing to throw a punch.
It's a whole other thing when someone is coming at you.
But it's such a metaphor for my anxiety.
Like not wasting your energy until your opponent's on you.
Like not draining that.
Same thing.
Don't think of worry about things until they're right in front of you
when you actually have to deal with them.
Otherwise, you're not going to be emotionally ready
or have the energy to deal with it.
That must have felt so good getting those punches out.
Oh my gosh.
I still do it.
I have a bag in my house.
Like I have a couple, like a bad day or some annoying.
emails or, you know, just whack that big. My dog's barking like, mom, what's wrong?
Like, dude, we're good. Mommy's got to get it out. But, but yeah, back to what your original question
was for sure. I think going into fitness and learning it something new every single day is amazing.
I'm getting a certification now, learning more about mind-body connection and somatic skills and
breath work and whatnot. And I want to introduce that into what I do. Yeah. I mean, I think you can make
a plan for your life. I know my life is this way. And then it just goes a totally different direction.
and I'm so grateful it went the way that it went.
So now I'm kind of like, I don't know, this sounds fun.
Let me go do that.
And then all of a sudden it turns into like a new opportunity.
There's so many doors that have opened now for you, I feel like.
Yeah, it's kind of overwhelming a little bit.
Yeah, I'm like, what do I do now?
I don't know.

What has the adjustment been like to, you know, now being a little bit more in the public eye?
Because that obviously has effects on once mental health.
Yeah.
It's not too, I will say, a lot of the feedback on social media is usually pretty positive.
Yeah.
But then I feel like you get to a point, like in the beginning, you're like, everyone's so nice to me.
Yay.
I'm sure you guys saw that.
Everyone loves me.
Oh, my God, yes.
And then you reached this point.
And I had a dear friend of mine who works in PR.
And then there was a lot of like hate or people just hating on something random.
And I was like, this is kind of hurting my feelings.
Like, what do I do?
And she goes, congrats.
Like, this is how you know you're evolving and you're making an impact in the world is when people want to start knocking you down when you go through it.
And so it's been different.
I don't think so much self-esteem anymore.
I know I like who I am.
I've done a lot of that self-work.
Again, therapy.
A lot of like exploration in that.
Maybe turning 30.
That's been great too.
Something shifted.
They say that it happens.
It really does.
I was like, oh, okay.
I don't give a fuck anymore.
I'm like, let's just roll.
Somebody just, oh.
It was, I was going to say, yeah.
Gwen and Paltrow said it on, call her daddy.
She was like, once, she's like, it happened at other ages, but she said when I turned
40.
Yeah.
She said 40.
She was like, I just, I didn't give a fuck about anything.
You're like, whatever.
I just came into myself completely.
Yeah.
It's like, take it or leave it for what it is.
Yeah, of course, there's still things I'm working with myself.
I think the hardest thing now, no lie is probably dating.
I was going to ask that.
Dating is like, but I didn't want to bring it up and feel like invasive.
Oh, it's fine.
But, yeah.
I was going to ask, like, are people sliding into your dams?
I'm sure they are because they're interested.
I had, I cannot say the name, but I had the most hilarious DM slide of my life a couple months ago.
And I was just like, you've got to be kidding me.
And I sent a screenshot of it to one of my girlfriends.
And she's like, you better talk to him.
I was like, I will talk.
I'm not touching that with the 10 foot pole.
But let's see, like, where this goes.
It was, wow.
You're saying it's funny.
Did you go on a day with that person?
I almost did.
He tried, I was in a different place and he was also there and he was trying to get me to come out to dinner and I was like, believe it or not, I was having dinner with one of my exes who's actually a really good friend.
Like he was my ex that got me through my mental health journey.
He was going through his mental health stuff.
Yeah.
We're best of friends.
And I was like, sorry, I'm going out to dinner with my favorite ex.
And he was like, oh my gosh, I love that so much.
I was like, yeah, sure you do.
Can we get like a genre?
Oh, I will give it away.
I'm like getting mortified right now.
Oh, my God.
Okay.
You don't have to tell you.
You don't have to tell anybody.
And then we'll not tell anybody else.
Sorry everybody listening.
I know.
I feel almost terrible but not because I cannot.
I want to make a guess but I won't do it now.
I'll wait till after.
Because I will make a face because I have no poker face.
So don't.
We will.
We will.
We'll hire his job.
I won't hide behind him.
But like,
do Pete, your friends try and like set you up?
Yeah.
Yeah.
But then it's kind of, I think the harder part now is like I have a really weird life.
Yeah.
Like someone's got to be good with it.
I had a relationship that I was pretty public about.
I guess it's almost two years ago now.
And unfortunately, he was a great, lovely, normal guy.
We met in the coolest of ways.
I was on a surf trip in El Salvador.
I literally cliff jumped off this waterfall.
I sound really cool.
You are the coolest person.
So far, we've got like a life-changing trip to Italy.
We're cliff jumping in El Salvador.
Vacations are good.
Cliff jumped into this guy's arms in the water.
Pretty much.
No lie.
Quite the meat cute.
Yeah, it was.
I was like, oh, this is meant to be.
I'm like, this is a movie.
Let's go.
Really lovely.
It was the person I dated during pandemic, and we built a cabin together.
but he kept it obviously because I didn't get my name on the deed.
You're so not cool at all.
No, I've been a powerful house.
You built the cabin and then you didn't put your name on the deed.
No.
And so he literally,
I built this man a cabin with him.
Like every weekend we were building this thing.
It is beautiful.
Well, you know what?
If he still lives there like...
No, and you know what?
His family is close by there and I love his family.
And no harm to him.
Like, we just weren't meant to be.
But it's also, like, no matter how close or not close you are post like a breakup.
There's a cabin that has my name all over it.
Like, yeah, like, exactly.
You look at those walls have your story.
I secretly put my initials.
I don't, I think maybe I have, okay,
fun story actually.
I put my initials in concrete in the basement.
We put all the concrete down.
Don't ever do anything with concrete
is the worst freaking thing on the planet.
I feel like I still have it on my hands.
It was disgusting.
But like I put my initials in something.
I think I want to like mark my territory somehow.
Like I did this.
Yeah.
That should have some kind of legal bind.
Right?
Like if you're like, excuse me.
I built to gab with you.
Do I have like a percentage?
Yeah.
Like my initials are on the concrete.
Doesn't that count?
We took it down to the stud.
So you guys.
So you guys spent this whole year and build a cabin.
And then we broke up right after it was done.
I'm not kidding.
It was like, oh no, no, no.
You want the best breakup story ever.
I had a meeting with my team with this designer who I love who I think she still hates me and I don't blame her.
We had this meeting.
We're going to some event in the city after that.
We had this great dinner wrapping up the year.
My mom got into town early because I had so much going on.
And then my parents, we were all going to go to the cabin.
Like my parents, his parents.
We've all gone on vacation before.
Like, I really thought this was my dude.
and I go, we're going after this great design meeting
and we're going to this other event
and I had to take a rapid COVID test.
I had a sniffle for a while.
Y'all, I had COVID.
So I'm sitting next to the two people I work with
in the middle of the back of an Uber
and I'm like, we have to get out.
It's like three days before Thanksgiving.
I think I gave someone on this designer's team COVID.
So we've never talked again.
So I don't feel really bad.
I did not know.
It's okay.
Yeah, it was.
They were going to catch you from somebody else.
Well, especially it was wildfire at that.
That was, like, it's always right,
in the city it was so bad, right before every holiday.
Oh, exactly. I think everybody missed
Thanksgiving or Christmas that year. That was a bad one.
They would have caught it from somebody.
I know. It wasn't me. My whole family missed Christmas that
year. You know the year, yeah.
Oh, yeah, mine did too, actually.
We all thought we all thought we were kind of got it.
We all thought we were like kind of back and like feeling good.
And then all of a sudden it was like, oh, Christmas is ruined for like everyone falls like domino.
Every single one in my family got it.
And I was like, I'm having the best New Year's Eve.
my life. This year, none of you go near me.
And I stayed away from everybody and I made it through.
There you go. You're like, I love you, but not enough
to ruin my New Year's, but yeah.
But yeah, so came back from getting
the, I got the confirmation of the COVID test.
I was like, oh damn, I'm going to give it to my mom.
She is fine. She's like, whatever. She's at my apartment
organizing my kitchen, drinking a bottle of wine.
Susie's an icon.
She's amazing.
And on the way back, I
told my boyfriend at the time, cabin guy,
blessed heart. Cabin guy. Cabin guy.
and we just got into an argument and then that was it and we were done.
You broke up because you got you got COVID?
It was, I don't want to air any laundry.
There was a culmination thing.
It was going on.
We were kind of, you know, when things started to fade out for a while.
Like last straw.
Yeah.
And I think he, we just got to this place where I was like, I can't do this anymore.
Like, I'm out of it.
I'm done.
You broke up with that?
Yeah.
Well, we were both kind of going back and forth.
And I think he thought, oh, we'll talk again tomorrow.
I will tell you when I am.
am done. That's it.
Like, we don't talk again.
Nope.
Unless you're friends. Unless you're friends.
Honestly, I love that. But we
had a big falling out kind of argument.
I've learned, I will say, I'm proud of
myself. I have ended relationships
significantly better after each one.
Right? Growth. I really love
to like give somebody like the
diatribe of all of their wrongdoings
and what they need to do to fix their life.
I would like, Oprah them at the end of a relationship
and I was like, that's not the way to go anymore.
No, no, no. We're going to.
So here are all the reasons.
I'm out.
Here's all the reasons why you're terrible, but I really appreciated what we had.
Fix yourself.
That was very much signed, lovingly signed, Kendall.
And but yeah, so that was kind of, yeah, that was it.
And so within three hours, I got, gave a designer, COVID.
Oh, no.
Rewened a deal and broke up with my boyfriend.
But this is what your professor was saying to you when he said you needed to live.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, I've lived.
You live now.
We have, I'm like, I can live a little less, I think.
Yeah.
You have a type of person now that you are looking to date, like, you know, quality.
What, you have somebody in mind?
Listen, I wish I could set you up with somebody.
No, I know.
It's hard enough as it is.
New York is already hard.
I also feel like there's something about, like, some people like being set up and some
people don't like being set up, right?
Yeah.
Because when you are being set up with somebody and they're like, and then you meet the
person, you're like, this is who you think I should be with.
This is who you had in mind for me.
And like, that person may think they're great, but like, you're like, what?
You're like, no, I don't get it.
Yeah, yeah.
But it's like, I like, yeah, I think at this point now, word of mouth and people that
really know me, yes.
Yeah.
Because if somebody kind of, I mean, I was on a, I mean, I did the dating apps.
And then when work kind of got bigger, then it got weird.
And people would be like, oh, my God.
The worst line.
I ride you all the time.
Oh.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, really?
And you're like, no, I want to ride you.
I'm like, well, you don't have a shot now.
Yeah.
No one's writing anything now.
That's tough.
That's a tough line.
Yeah, I was like, tough line.
I was like,
I'm getting,
oh,
God.
I was like,
why did they think that would work?
I know that they're like typing that out laughing and themselves.
They're like,
I'm just like,
oh,
she's going to love this one.
Oh,
she's never heard this one before in her life.
Oh, God.
That's brutal.
Yeah,
I think it's more somebody at this point.
I mean,
first off,
I'm truly probably in the first time.
Not that I was ever not happy by myself,
but I think I always,
you know,
as a girl,
especially in your 20s,
there's a validation you get from relationships.
And there's this feeling of,
I got chosen.
I was picked.
you know, and that always feels good.
But at this point, I'm kind of like, unless somebody can really kind of match my drive and my focus and what they want to do and they want to do something good in the world and they're passionate about it and they have, you know, close to family, have a good heart, all those important things.
But unless you're going to really add that kind of value and we can both kind of conquer our worlds together, but not have to be too intertwined.
Like I don't need, I don't want him to get his validation from me and I don't want me to get my validation from him.
You just want them to add to your life.
Yep.
Not like complete it.
Not complete it.
Yeah.
I know I'm complete.
Like the whole you complete me thing was a total lie.
I think that was the dangerous line than any rom-com.
I'm like, no, you complete you.
Yeah.
No man does.
No woman does.
Like no.
It'll happen naturally.
That's why everyone always said.
You know what I mean?
Let me guess.
It'll happen when I least expect it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Another rom-clam.
All the cliches.
But yeah.
But yeah.
But I think it's good also to be in a place where you're like, you don't, you're not
actively searching for it.
You're just kind of like,
me live my life, let me do my thing. It's about to be summer. I'm going to be on a beach 90% of the
time if I can help it. You know what I mean? You travel a lot too, right? I like to. Well, clearly.
I mean, I sound really adventurous. You are. You are. You are adventurous. You don't sound that you are. I am. I love to go, yes. But, you know, I got to do people in New York and do that stuff. I got to teach people. So what else you have
going on? We're going to wrap up. Yeah. Just tell the people. Yeah, we'll do a little, a little plug.
The spiel. The spiel. Yeah. I love that word. I know. I'm not even
Jewish. I love that word. I think moving to New York,
give me all of it. I love the Yiddish. Let's go.
Yeah. So I'm working with spiritual gangster.
Love that brand. Yeah, they're awesome. Great brand. Yeah. Great stuff. I will make
sure you guys are in a little bit. You got to get on all the list. Put us on all the list.
Put us on all the list. I feel like I have on many lists. You want to get on my list.
Listen, I want to be on your list. We're not on many lists. We are not on enough
I. I cannot believe that.
No, we're not. We're not. We're not. I feel like y'all should have been, did you guys
did you guys go to F1? No. No.
No, we're not on this time.
We don't go and nobody's inviting us anywhere.
People don't invite us to things.
We don't get put on any list.
Bull.
Yeah, we just sit here and talk in this room.
Yeah, we just yapp away.
We're just the two yappers that nobody cares about.
They're like to stick them in that room.
We don't want to deal with them.
Stick them in there.
They'll talk.
They'll talk and make questions.
We're like two puppets.
Oh my God.
But yes, spiritual gangstering is a great brand.
Yes, they're a great brand.
I've collab with them last year.
We did this awesome design collection.
Really, really proud of it.
I love fitnesswear, obviously.
I mean, I'm shocked.
I'm, well,
very cute outfit.
Thank you, but this is still kind of fitnessy.
It's an Amazon tank top.
You know what I saw recently?
Very cool.
It was a TikTok of a girl who said,
which was so true,
and this is like our generation of like
when we were going out or like the classic friend text
of what are you wearing tonight was,
oh, jeans in a cute top or jeans in a going out top.
That was like always like jeans in a going out top.
And now she was like, I think the Gen Z version,
of that is like a white shirt and fun pants or like a tank top and fun pants. Yes. That is so
true. I was like she's in a tank top and fun pants. Yeah. I have 14 of these. It's my favorite thing.
I love just a plain tank top always hits and then add cool skirt pants. Yeah. And it was really
layers and the accessories. Exactly. It was really cracking me up. I was like wow that is the new version of
it is like a tank top and fun pants. Yeah. I love it. You're like we've just flipped it. Yeah. So
spiritual gangster we'll get that I love this I know I know I'm so tangential but then we always get back to the
trunk of the tree we're good so we did a collaboration for mental health awareness month we it's our
second time doing it awesome really cool shirts are called uh they say never knocked out which is like
a version of the phrase that my dad it's kind of like a family motto that got me through my darkest
times that I close out class with and a portion of the proceeds goes to aFSP the american
federation on suicide prevention so we're really about giving back and they're these great t-shirts and
hats and really cute, simple stuff.
And then there also will be a lot more
fun design drops coming in the future.
So again, the little has to happen.
Yes. It's very cool. Now, where can people
buy that? By the shirts. They can get it on
spiritual gangster.com. Great.
And obviously, follow Kendall everywhere.
There we go. And take the process.
Make sure you're cycling with Kendall.
Right. Right. Yeah. Right. And not riding
Kendall. Not riding Kendall.
Not right.
Running Kendall.
But writing with me.
The width is operative, friends.
I'm off.
Do it with you.
There you go.
Thank you so much.
Thank you guys.
This is so much fun.
All right.
That wraps up this wonderful episode
of Chicks in the Office.
Maybe the best we've ever done.
You know, five years.
Five years.
And this is honestly our first episode
that I feel like we've really had a moment like this.
That says a lot where it's like, man.
And it's still a great episode because Kendall is fantastic.
How much are you going to keep talking?
It's been.
five years.
We love you guys.
Subscribe.
Bring your signs.
Bring your signs to Tampa and we will have an episode on Friday.

It is coming back and I got a lot to say.
All right.
Love you.
