Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon music. This is state of America. What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Rianne Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Monday. This podcast is presented to you by Francia, our favorite wine to drink, and especially our favorite wine to drink this summer.
Starting point is 00:00:35 You know we've been talking about it every single podcast, how much we love Francia, how they have all different types of wines, including our favorites. Like I like a nice pino griege, put some ice in it, pour it with the little cute little nozzle that comes on the box. It's amazing. Six and a half bottles in each box. So you don't have to make separate trips to the store. You know when you pick up one or two bottles of wine, you think that's going to be enough. And it's just not. Listen, these days, it's really just not enough. So you need the whole six and a half bottles in one box. Go drink it. Tag us in your stories. Fran, tell me how much you love Francia.
Starting point is 00:01:10 You know, Ria? So, so much. I love the, obviously, the boxes so you can, they're great for weekends. If you're with other people, the little juice boxes are perfection for a little personal size. Take to the beach, put it in the cooler, little rosé. It's amazing single, like just, just for you. So you don't have to worry about the box or anything like that. So they make products for everyone.
Starting point is 00:01:32 Like you said, so many different varieties, rosé, pinocrigia. like, you know, Charnet, Reds, Cabernet. Like, they have everything. Whatever wine you like, Francia has it. So make sure you are drinking Francia for the rest of the summer. Yep, and keep tagging us in those stories because we love seeing them. I saw one today with a dog. So shit.
Starting point is 00:01:56 So we love to see that. Francesca Mariano, how are you doing? Oh, Maria. Maria Chufo. Yeah. How are you doing on this lovely Sunday? afternoon. Just another day in paradise, Maria.
Starting point is 00:02:12 I'm well and yeah, it's a nice day at the beach. Like I said, I feel like I always sound super obnoxious because we record Sundays and I'm like, oh, just came for the beach and it's just basically every Sunday. Yeah, this town, I live right next
Starting point is 00:02:27 to the beach at my boyfriend's house. So we do the beach on Sundays and it had, it was very, very, very nice. I got to bring one of my friends here. She came to visit who I haven't seen or who has never been here before. And she absolutely loves it. So that was great. And now I'm here. Well, that sounds beautiful. I'm jealous. I wish I was at the beach today. I'm happy for you that you got to soak in the sun and that your friend,
Starting point is 00:02:55 who I know who you're talking about. Let's go to the beach and have a happy time. Yeah, at a boring last weekend. I can't really say much. I realize that when I'm bored, I just sleep. I slept for, you don't even want to know how much it's embarrassing. So let's just, oh, you know what I did yesterday? Let's not talk about me. Saturday morning, me, Francesca Mariano in the year 2020, went for a run outside. What? Outside with my, with two of my friends and my whole body hurts. I'm never doing it again. I just choked. I could not believe you just said that, Francesco. You know what? A run? Once in the last time you went on a run? I, 14 years old. Like, I don't know. Like, high school, like, I truly have no idea. It's been like 10 years. It's been a really, really long time,
Starting point is 00:03:47 and my body is agreeing with me. Like, and I didn't run far. Like, I didn't run at all, really. Like, well, they sold it to me. At least a mile? No. They sold it to me as. as like, oh, let's run to the market. We'll get a coffee. We'll pick up sandwiches. We'll sit and then we'll walk back with it all. So like run there. It was like a mile and a half to get there.
Starting point is 00:04:12 I, you know what? I probably ran close to a mile. It would be my guess before I had to start walking. And then it was like a walk run combo. My friends were like way ahead of me. So I was like, come on, friend, you could do this. So like, I was like, I would run for, little bit, then I have to walk again and then run again.
Starting point is 00:04:31 Thankfully, I was only maybe like a few minutes behind them by the time they got to the market and I trailed them. But when we were leaving, I was like, guys, if you turn around and you don't see me, like, just wait for me. I'll get there eventually. Listen, we're proud that you even made the effort because if my friend said to me, you want to go on a run, I would have said, no, bitches, I'm staying home. So good for you.
Starting point is 00:04:58 At least you, at least you went on a run. I tried as much as you tried. Yeah. Trying is important. It'll probably be another 10 years before I try again because my hips, holy shit. Oh, do a nice cracking. Do a nice cracking. I know, but it's like.
Starting point is 00:05:13 Wiggle those hips around. I got up from my beach share today and everyone was like, are, like, are you okay? Like, why can't? I was like, guys, I went for a run yesterday. Joe was probably so disappointed. Yeah, I mean, he was shocked when I told him that I was going for a run. He was like, are you okay? Are you ill? Like, has something come over? Is everything okay up there?
Starting point is 00:05:36 Is everything okay? What's going on? Fran, do you need to tell us something? Because if you do, you could tell us. I know. I thought maybe like, I don't know, for something in my head thought, like, maybe I'm going to go on this run. Because I haven't really tried running in so long. I'm always like, oh, I don't like to run. So I was like, you know what? It's been so long. Maybe I'll try it and I'll like it. That was a very optimistic. sick. I didn't like it. I didn't like it. I feel like if you are a runner and you like running, you know that from a very early age. You know that you're a runner. You know that you're going to do
Starting point is 00:06:08 running as exercise when you're older. You also know from a very early age when you are not a runner. And you and I both not runners. Not a runner. Not a runner. No on the other hand, remember when he was bragging about doing his runs? How's it kind of trailed off, but I still run like at least a few times a week. It's easier when you're running like next to a beach or like it's a nice for you when you're running. Oh, yeah, when it's beautiful, it is definitely way easier, but like my friends
Starting point is 00:06:36 were making fun of me, they were like, friend, I don't think we've ever seen you, like, run. Like, I think this is the first time we've ever seen you actually run, so. Were you listening to music when you run? Like, what do you do? No, I didn't even bring my phone. See, I feel like that makes you way harder. Like, I listen to a podcast and like it distracts me.
Starting point is 00:06:56 Halfway in, I was like, boy, do I wish I had music, but like, I didn't have, I didn't want to hold my phone and run with my phone in my hand. And I don't, I wasn't prepared. Like, you got to have a fanny pack or an arm, you know, I don't have those things. So, I just hold it in my room. I just left it at home. Yeah, I could have carried it, but I don't know. So the bottom one is, some reason I thought, like, because I was going with my friends would be, like, talking, but like, you don't talk when you want. You're too out of breath. There's, there's no way you can have a conversation. Unless you're, what, you should have done some mild jogging. That's pleasant. We stop. We, we, at. We,
Starting point is 00:07:28 I mean, it started as a mild jog. I can't die. We weren't doing sprints out here. Like, it was, we were still moving at a pretty slow pace. And I am just going to be sore for days. So that's good for me. It was a nice attempt. Probably not going to try it again, but I tried.
Starting point is 00:07:48 Exactly. Exactly. I haven't even told my mom yet. Oh, she's going to shut tears of how proud she is of you. Wait until my mom finds out. She is going to freak. She's going to be. I'm going to wait for her to listen to the show and then she'll text me. You went for a run?
Starting point is 00:08:03 Oh, she's going to listen to the show. Does she listen to every show? Oh, she listens to every show. Okay, so I want to say something real quick. I always look back at one of the times before the world shut down, one of the most, you know, you look back on those months, you're like, damn, life was fun and like right, just like leading up to it right before it happened. We were all in Florida with your parents, having a spectacular. time. That was like just like maybe a few weeks before everything shut down. And I look back on one of those times and I smile. I just want to say that. I look back and I'm like, that was a fantastic time. I'm really glad that we got to do it while, you know, things were seemed okay, but they weren't. But I guess they seemed okay. Nobody really knew anything over here. And yeah, just I'm like, damn, I miss the Mariano's. I know, I know. Especially your grandpa. I know. I know. I'm miss them too. I haven't seen them in a long time.
Starting point is 00:09:02 You're going to see them this week, so. Yes, yes, yes. Not my grandparents. Not my grandparents, not the grandparents, but your parents. That's very important. Exactly. Exactly. All right, friend, we have a great show for everybody because we have a very special guest that people are going to be so excited about. I've been holding this in for so long. I can't wait for people to hear this. Yes. Fran, why don't you tell them because you're so excited. Okay. Thanks. I was hoping. I was hoping you were going to say that. I was going to let you do it, but if you didn't, guys, Taylor, Zachar Perez, aka Marco from the kissing booth, too, is on today's episode. And he's amazing.
Starting point is 00:09:41 Of course, you say that about every guest, and there we go, saying amazing and fantastic again. We need different adjectives, but one day, we'll read a dictionary and then we'll get back to you guys. But we were so excited to happen because we love the kissing booth and kissing booth too, and then we became fans of him. And he really lived up to the expectations, if not more. Like, listen to it, you're going to love him. You're just, the things he says, you're going to be, like, swooning over him in a second.
Starting point is 00:10:08 And you're going to follow him on Instagram. And you're probably going to be rooting for him to be winning in Kissing Booth Three. There is no prize. I said winning as if, like, there's a game show going on, but meaning, like, probably. I don't like what's going on with Jacob and Joey right now. Like, you see, you see Joey call him out. for night. Like he said he didn't watch the kissing booth too. And then Joey tweeted that he
Starting point is 00:10:30 definitely watched it. And then she deleted the tweet. Like, I don't, bad vibes from those two. And it sucks because it's bad vibes in real life. And that shouldn't matter for their characters in the movie. But for me, it does. A lot of tension. A lot of tension because they're broken up. He's with Sendea. And a lot of petty remarks back and forth. We're going to try to see past that, though. Yeah. We also are going to be talking about Megan the Stallion and Cardi B's new song and new a music video. It's going to get you hyped at whatever time you're listening to this. We're going to have to play some of it. We also will be talking about Becca and Garrett from the Bachelor franchise. Did They Break Up? And also Becca's comments on the post about them breaking up. And there's also rumors that
Starting point is 00:11:12 Jennifer Gardner, I have such a hard time saying Garner. It's so hard. I saw the Instagram stories from Friday. Garner. It just doesn't happen for you. Garner. Garner. Garner. Jennifer Garner. There you go. I always want to say Gardner. Jennifer Garner. Jennifer Garner and Bradley Cooper were spotted together with Bradley Cooper's kid, and now people are speculating that they're dating. So let's get into it, starting off with Meg Pistallion and Cardi B's new song. I said, certified free seven days a week, wet-ass pussy.
Starting point is 00:11:43 Make that pull-out game. Weak, woo! Yeah, you fucking with some wet-ass pussy. Gobble me, swallow me, drip down inside of me, jump out for you, let it get inside of me. I tell them where to put it, never tell them where I'm about to be. I run down on them for I have a nigga running me Talk your shit
Starting point is 00:12:00 Fight your lip Ask for a call Why you ride that dick You really ain't never got him fucking for a thing He already made his mind Look for he came Now get your boots Hand your coat
Starting point is 00:12:08 For this wet ass pussy He bought a phone Just for pictures Of this wet ass pussy Pay my tuition Just to kiss me On this wet ass pussy Now make it rain
Starting point is 00:12:18 If you wanna see Some wet ass pussy There's some hoars in this house There's some hoes in this house There's some hoes in this house Noah, play it. Okay, I'm sorry. But listen, the first few seconds of that song, get me hyped.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Like, I wish that was, it does play in the background of the song. But those first five seconds, I'm like, yeah, there are some whores in this house. Me, hand up. There's some hoars in this house. I, when I watched that Friday morning, like, I was just, I watched it on my phone. my face the whole time was just like, like, literally you know how, you know on Twitter, everybody posts the,
Starting point is 00:13:05 the shocked hamster holding the little cross. Have you seen those? Yes. That was me watching this video. I was like, oh, my word. I mean, these ladies are unbelievable, and they crush everything that they do. And I love, I always forget that they're like my age,
Starting point is 00:13:21 which just like makes, I don't know, somehow makes it cooler. I'm like, the shit that they're doing is, is unbelievable. They're just strutting their stuff. They are sexy as fuck. That's really the only way you can put it. I mean, Meg Vestallion, Cardi B are just a power duo.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Do I wish Nikki Minaj would have been in the trio and it really would have just like, wow, like. Yeah. But Cardi B and Nikki Minaj, they're never going to get along. Yeah. They're just not going to happen. This two is an amazing duo. Power fucking duo.
Starting point is 00:13:55 The music video is like. like R rated times 100. Cardi B, when she has the outfit with her boobs out and it's just the nipples, it's just unbelievable. Listen, power to her. I love that she feels confident doing that. And also, I checked, and this was a few hours ago, it had 49 million views on YouTube. That's insane.
Starting point is 00:14:19 And it probably has, I'm going to guess, around 60 million at this time. It's a few hours past. No, it checked that for me. Yeah. It came out on Friday. This is Sunday. Like, this is going to be probably one of the most watched music videos. 53 right now.
Starting point is 00:14:35 53. Okay, it went up a little bit. I was expecting 60, but 53 million still a whole... Still climbing. Still a whole lot. Unbelievable. And then we have some cameos from... Yes.
Starting point is 00:14:47 You know, everyone's talking about the Kylie Jenner cameo because it looked like... What do you think about this petition? Oh, to take her out? I'm like, all right. That's never going to happen because clearly the two artists, that created the song wanted her in it. So they're not going to take her out of the music video. Did you see the petition to add Betty White instead of her?
Starting point is 00:15:04 That would be nice. I would be for that one. That would be hilarious. I would definitely enjoy that. But I feel like we can put Betty White in there and not have to take Kylie out also. Exactly. Betty can let's make it everyone.
Starting point is 00:15:14 Everyone's in it. Right. I will say people were joking around about this. Kylie Dunner did look like she was about to drop a verse on everyone. Like she was walking in and it was like she's about to spit some hot fire and she just walked into another door. I was very confused by the cameo.
Starting point is 00:15:30 Obviously, titty's popping, body looking great. Like, she's Kylie Jenner. It is what it is. It also just blows my mind because, like, I just wish, because I have nothing against Kylie Jenner, but I just wish that she would admit that, like, parts of her body are fake. Because they just go and they act like they've never had work done,
Starting point is 00:15:48 and it is not even, obviously, it's not a question that they have. And I just feel like there's people who look at them. They're like, damn, I wish I had that body. but it's like Kylie paid for that. You could, there's nothing wrong with that. You can too with the right amount of money. Right. I just wish you would be like, yeah, these boobs are big, but they're popping still.
Starting point is 00:16:07 Like, whatever. That's besides the point. I don't know. Normani, I die. Every time I see Normani dance, I just have no words. Like my tongue gets twisted and I'm like salivating because she is one of the best answers. I have ever seen when she performed in the Rihanna. Well, by the way, I've realized we've been saying Rihanna wrong and everyone says Rihanna
Starting point is 00:16:32 it's actually Rihanna. That's what Rihanna says. She says it's Rihanna and everyone pronounces it wrong. That's besides the point. The Fenty show, where I will never get used to. No, neither why. That's why I said Rihanna, but apparently it's Rihanna. There's videos of her talking about it.
Starting point is 00:16:47 Anyways. Romani, just one of the greatest dance sequences and I play it over and over again and like just an amazement. And then she just comes out of this music video. And even though everyone was freaking out about Kylie, we got to be freaking out about Normani. 100%. Nor is, she's so great that like now anytime I see her do anything,
Starting point is 00:17:09 like, she could just like be posing and like snap. And I'm like, oh, it's not even like an intense movement. But like every little thing she crushes. It's so good. She is so fantastic. I will say Noah, you posted the video, obviously cut together of like Kylie walking down the hall, and then she opened the door and it was Rise and Shine. And I had so many of my friends who had not actually watched the music video,
Starting point is 00:17:37 text me and be like, wow, I can't believe they put that in the music video. And I was like, that did not happen. I feel like it adds to the song. Were you full, Maria? Did you see the video first? Yeah, I thought that they were rising to shine in the music video. and I was like, that's fucking hilarious. And then I realized quickly, that's not what happened.
Starting point is 00:17:56 That was just Noah. Yep. Just the genius of Noah. I mean, I thought if I just listening to that, I feel like that little drop adds to the song. Like, right before Cardi goes back into her verse, like, that would be cool. Like, she should have put Rise and Shine in there.
Starting point is 00:18:11 It would have worked so well. It would have made more sense if she put Rise and Shine in there than to have nothing at all because then people would be like, Kylie Jenner spinning those hot bars again, rise and shine. Like everyone would have said the same thing that they said about her the first time she did it. So it would have made a lot of sense. And I also love when songs put in a little like, like weird one-liner, like even like there's people do it from the office or whatever in the middle of the song and then the beat drops and all of a sudden it's like, ooh, you're like really into it.
Starting point is 00:18:41 Yeah, like in a watch the throne where they have Will Ferrell. Yes, exactly. And also those big booty remixes. They always drop a drop a good one in there and then all of a sudden the beat drops. So I thought that was real. Yes, I did. But also, Rosalia made an appearance with those long nails that she always has. She did a W magazine, ASMR, and it's one of my favorites because she has those long nails.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Yep. All in all, shocking video. Fantastic. I hope Cardi B and Magna Sallion just, like, continued to make tons of songs together. I feel like it's an amazing duo. Yeah, they're freaky. And I think if they put out an out, album together. Real freaky. You know what it? Yeah, it reminds me of this song, Wowsers by
Starting point is 00:19:29 Loe-Wain and Trina and my cousin Fran and I only could listen to this song together because it is so dirty and filthy that if you play it around other people, they, I've played it for people before and they're like, what the hell is this? There's only, there's like certain people that can vibe with it. I feel like this song is around that same type of area. You know what I mean? Like, you're, you're, I feel like I'm listening to this like in the privacy of myself getting ready in the mirror or like, actually I don't know. I mean, at this point, that's the only place I can do it because we're not going out. So yeah, I guess that's really all it's good for at this point.
Starting point is 00:20:10 Exactly. If you are looking for underwear that is going to make you feel good on the inside and on the outside, you need to be wearing me undies. They're so, so comfortable. Me undies spends time carefully choosing fabrics that are soft as heck, breathable, sustainable, and comes in endless wacky prints and colors for a true comfort that allows you to be you. Guys, honestly, I'm wearing one of their thongs right now. It's hot pink. It has a little black trim. It's really fun. It's really comfortable. Probably one of the most comfortable thongs I have ever owned. I need a thousand more of them because they are absolutely amazing.
Starting point is 00:21:28 And guys, me undies has cracked the code when it comes to comfort. It all starts with sustainably sourced beech wood trees that magically turn from pulp to yarn to undies. Rumors are swirling that Becca and Garrett from the Bachelor franchise have ended their engagement.
Starting point is 00:22:42 They've split up after being engaged for two years together. But I'm a little confused because e-news posted about it, but then Becca commented and she said, LOL, interesting source. And then something about how they didn't spell their names right throughout the article. So she said,
Starting point is 00:22:56 if you're going to do anything, at least spell our names right. So I was like, does that mean that this isn't true? Are they false reporting? Or are you just mad that a source gave them that information? Right. I'm leaning towards
Starting point is 00:23:12 maybe what the actual quotes from the story, source were saying, you know? Not that the whole thing is false, because I do think she and Garrett have split up. But I guess maybe she was just more upset by the fact that there was an article written about it where they did misspell their names. And then on top of that, the source, like whatever quotes they were saying probably were misleading in some kind of way would be my guess.
Starting point is 00:23:44 Like the source, so the source said, Becca is still very about. upset with Garrett's comments and the controversy surrounding it. Their lifestyles don't mesh anymore. Garrett wants different things and they came to a realization that they aren't compatible anymore. So I could, I could kind of see her just being upset because that source is like putting words in her mouth, right? It's like, well, Becca thinks this. And Becca's like a cool source. Like, hello, that's not me. Yeah, I agree with that, especially because there are so many supporting facts as to they are broken up. So I feel like it would be weird to comment. interesting source or she would just comment this isn't true if if that meant you know that they
Starting point is 00:24:26 didn't break up but I also feel like maybe she wrote interesting source because she thought the people around her would be close enough to not go tell a news outlet about it and then they went and then put like you said put words in her mouth quoted things that maybe she never said or maybe she did say but didn't didn't want quoted in a magazine unless it came from her right so I feel it is true that they split up. I felt like this was coming, obviously, because there was so much controversy and back and forth between Rachel Lindsay and Garrett and Becca and Rachel are friends and their co-hosts. And Rachel just really did not agree with what Garrett was saying and thought he was a piece of shit. She actually said those words. And it seemed like maybe Becca heard where Rachel was
Starting point is 00:25:12 coming from. And then from there had conversations with Garrett. And then maybe it didn't work out. Maybe she didn't like Garrett's vibe and what he was saying or whatever it was and they just realized that they weren't compatible. For sure. I mean, it's a very real thing. Like, when you get down to it with their relationship and obviously, I think we'll hear more if Becca ever discusses it. But like they were always aware that they had different values, like kind of like different beliefs
Starting point is 00:25:44 in that way. But it was okay. They still loved each other. at work like they had an understanding and and that's it's possible that's possible to have but obviously if it gets to a point where that now becomes such a problem in your relationship where you may have to question how you see yourself in a marriage is a different thing like or having kids or anything like that where all of a sudden it becomes a bigger problem and they can't continue with their engagement.
Starting point is 00:26:18 I feel like Becca was always really hopeful that things were going to work out because she fell in love with Garrett's on that, on the show. And he was always clearly her favorite. And I think after those, I think after all the Instagram posts and stuff that people had found of Garrett's from before the season where, you know, obviously Garrett got tore apart,
Starting point is 00:26:39 I feel like Becca maybe had a little bit more to prove. Like I feel like after that, she wanted to show a, that like you can grow and you can have relationships with with different beliefs and make it work. But you know, sometimes that just gets too big. And I feel like that's just what happened. At the end of the day, if they're not comfortable with each other and they're just realizing that their separate views are really getting in the way of their relationship, there comes a point where that's just not going to work anymore. And if they think they're going to fit better with someone else, they're going to fit better with someone else. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:27:15 I mean, I guess before all of this talking to Becca and whatever, I thought that Becca and Garrett would be the ones, or not the ones, one of the ones to really, you know, make it in the end and like walk down the aisle. I don't know about you, but I just felt like they were headed that way.
Starting point is 00:27:32 I did too, yeah. And it just really put a big damper in things because I think that their time has been expired at this point. For sure. And you know what? There, we all do things. that they are broken up. I mean, they deleted things. Like, everybody was talking about Garrett
Starting point is 00:27:46 deleting his Becca highlight on his Instagram. Um, but, you know, maybe they need, maybe they need some time apart. Maybe they need six months to like do their own thing. And at the end of that, they could work it out or at the end of that they could be like, yeah, this break was a good thing. We shouldn't stay broken up, you know. Yeah, maybe Becca wants to hop on another show. Who knows? Yep, maybe. Maybe. TMZ posted pictures of Jennifer Gardner and Bradley Cooper hanging out on the beach. They were with Bradley Cooper's daughter. And everybody freaked out.
Starting point is 00:29:00 Obviously, these two have been friends for a very long time. They were co-stars on ALEAS together in the early 2000s. And they would just personally, like, you see those pictures and you're like, oh, never even thought of these two as a possibility. and it is fantastic. This is a couple I can get behind 100%. First of all, Jen is just a lovely human being. I don't know her personally.
Starting point is 00:29:28 I've never met her, but she seems like an angel sent from heaven. She is like a flower in human form. Like she probably smells like roses and daisies and all of the beautiful things in life. And she just probably talks with so much grace. I mean, we've seen it before. But she's just so nice and pleasant to be around. And then we have Bradley Cooper.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Hot as shit. Great actor. He gets singing now. We know that. And we never thought that was a possibility. He's cute with his daughter. I just, I root for them together because I feel like they're in the same, like, field. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:30:05 Like, they're in the same generation of actors and actresses. Like, they've moved up in the world together. They are appropriate age for each other. They seem like good people. and I am just rooting for them to be a couple, although I don't think they are. I think that they're just friends. Like it appears that they are just friends and that's why it all makes sense. Yeah, exactly. They did grow up in the same world. They are the same generation. Of course, they're going to get along and be friends and confided at each other. They're in the same show. They're really probably just confiding in each other.
Starting point is 00:30:36 Jen just went through a breakup. Bradley just went through a breakup. They're both fresh off a breakup. They're probably like, let's hang out. Let's catch up. COVID got the best of us. We've all been trapped inside. Like let's, you know, let's, let's see an old friend or two. And I know, I'm with you on that. It just feel like they're friends and it's disappointing, but I think that they're just friends. Yeah, yeah. For sure, because obviously the pictures came out, everybody freaked. Now all the outlets are like, oh, don't worry, it's, it starts a friendship. They've been friends for so long. It's nothing more than that. But you see the pictures and you make up scenarios in your head. You want there to be something between the two of them. Maybe they put the kid to bed.
Starting point is 00:31:17 They go back to the beach. They put the kid to bed. They have a, they have a bottle of wine. They have some francy. And they get drunk and they start making out by the fireplace that Bradley had set up for the two of them, just to have a nice dinner to catch up. And all of a sudden, they're having intercourse. And then after that, they form a relationship. And then it's a beautiful thing and we see them together. And this is why I need to get out of the house because I am now making up scenarios or celebrities and their relationships. And that's because it's all the fun that we have right. You're right. It absolutely is. That's what we hold on to. But you know what? Jennifer, I hope Jennifer really just finds the best guy ever. You know, she really deserves it. And I would
Starting point is 00:32:02 like to think that that could be Bradley Cooper. It might not feel like Bradley might be one of those playboy guy friends that you have that you're friends with because he's a great friend but you would never date him or you would never like set up one of your own friends with him you know but you'd be like oh he's a great guy I love him so fun to hang out with great friend but absolutely not what I ever want like him dating one of my friends or anything like that because he's not going in relationships right everyone knows that kind of friend everyone has one yep and you can find in them maybe but you don't get into personal relationships with them. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:32:39 You can fight in them, but you don't fuck them. Yep. That's the motto we live by. Yep. Mm-hmm. Recent events have obviously reminded us how important and awesome healthcare professionals are. Obviously, over the past few months with COVID,

We're here with Taylor Sikar Perez, who is an actor, most recently known as Marco in Kissing Booth 2. We absolutely love the kissing booth, too. We were so excited and we're so excited to have you here. So thanks for joining us. Heck yeah, thank you guys for having me.
Starting point is 00:35:57 I love your guys' show. Thank you. We appreciate that. Ria knows I've done really nothing but talk about the kissing booth too to like everybody I talked to for like the last couple weeks. Like I've watched it once. I watched it again with my boyfriend. I watched it again after that.
Starting point is 00:36:15 And then like continually talk about it with with my friends. Yeah. It's it's just maybe some people wouldn't think that's weird. But I really. I loved it. It was really so, so cute. It's so rewatchable, right? It really, it really is. And the first one was very rewatchable. Also, this one definitely as well. I think what I'm very curious about really would love to know is how you got involved with this movie.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Were you, had you seen the first one? Like, what was your knowledge of the kissing booth going in to this movie and audition process? Yeah, I'll tell you everything. So, you know, how it works is you get a, audition in your inbox from your agents. And, you know, it's kind of like volume, right? They just send you audition after audition, just hoping that something sticks. So this was my first audition of the year. So this was, I want to say January 17th.
Starting point is 00:37:11 And the breakdown said, untitled Vince Marcello project. And it said, please submit American Idol, Eurovision, and X Factor Stars. And that was hell intimidating to read that. You know, like almost kind of short-circuited me.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Like, okay, so I need to be like on a world of dance, being an American Idol star, you know, and playing a rock band. So I was, it was rough. So I went in the first day. I had a song, had like a semblance of some kind of choreography, like as much as you can do in a, you know, eight by ten kind of room. And, you know, Red with Kamala and Gary, who are the casting directors. and then Kamala spent like 25 minutes with me just kind of like coaching me through it and like saying oh no it's a bit more like this
Starting point is 00:38:02 and try it this way and then Gary came in and then I went home and I got a call back for the next day to meet with Vince Marcello, the director. So then did a rehearsal with him and I brought a song and brought like an actual dance this time and he kind of just looks at me and he's like how's you're dancing? And I said it's fine.
Starting point is 00:38:23 I'm not going to lie. I go, it takes me a little extra time to pick up choreography and feel comfortable with it. But I go, I will give you 110% of me all day, whatever you want. Like, I can do it. And he's like, okay. So then I had another call back with him. I think they're in South Africa at this time. So they went for pre-production, like way before we did.
Starting point is 00:38:45 So I have another call with them. Same thing. Bring a song. Saying it twice. Had to dance. Actually, didn't make me dance. I don't know if they, no. Yeah, they made me sing two songs.
Starting point is 00:38:55 And then he was like, hmm, okay. So now like on this little screen, I see him with the two casting directors. And he goes, so how's your dancing? And I'm like, like I said before, throw anything my way. I'm giving you 110 percent. Like I will make, I will make you proud. Like I'm good under pressure. Like I'm going to fuck some shit up.
Starting point is 00:39:14 And he's like, okay, can I swear on here? I'm sorry. Yes. Yes. Okay, cool. We do it all the time. I am definitely a culprit of that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:22 I won't do it all the time. I just, that was my real thought. Like, let's kill it. So then finally, I do all that stuff. And I call, um,
Starting point is 00:39:33 they call me and they go, hey, we have a chemistry read for you. And it's with Joey King. And I said, okay, cool. So it's me.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Actually, I have a, I would show you the picture right now, but I don't know where it is, uh, of me in the waiting room. And Joey came in. She's in like these blue gene overalls,
Starting point is 00:39:48 really short hair with like a daisy in her hair. I remember that. And she walked in. with like a ray of sunshine and was so sweet and so supportive. And I just, you know, I've never had a chemistry read quite like hers because she's just so talented and gives you everything she has and leans into it. And like even if she doesn't know her line, like she's like connected with you energetically and she's like saying something else.
Starting point is 00:40:14 You're like, yeah, I believe it. You know? So that was awesome. So we did that a few times and Gary Zuckerbrot was there for it and Vince was on. and then we sent it to Netflix, and then I think I had like four days of waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, and then I was in bed. Sunday morning, everyone called me, and they said, you got it. You're leaving in South Africa in like two weeks and danced and guitar starts tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:40:39 So that was it. That's like the long-winded story of Taylor Zachar Perez's rise to Kissy Boot, too. That is unreal. First of all, we absolutely love Joey King. like we think she's so amazingly talented. We watch the act, like everything with her. So what you described her as is just exactly what we pictured. And as for the audition process, isn't that just the best feeling ever?
Starting point is 00:41:02 Like when you go to an audition and they actually spend time, you know, telling you to do it different ways because then you know that they're interested. It's the times that you go in and you do it one time and they're like, okay, great. And then you walk out and you're like, okay, that wasn't great because they didn't do anything. Totally. Yes, I always love, you know, sometimes there are these casting directors that, like, I go in for, you know, David Rappaport a lot, and he'll have me do it one time. And then he's like, I'm just going to send him into producers. Like, okay, I know he's good. Like, I'm going to send him to producers. Or, you know, and Scott Jenkinser, same way. He's like, let's do it once. Okay, cool. I just want to make, he's like, I think they just want to make sure that you're still finally tuned in a way of like, okay, they're still in class. Like, I haven't seen them for a couple months. You know, maybe things have. happen. Maybe their hair changed. Maybe, you know, they got taller. You know, you just, you never, you never know. So I think it's their insurance policy to pre-read you and to make sure that you're okay. But I love when they give you direction. And because it's like sometimes you, there's a
Starting point is 00:42:05 while between projects. So you're either, if you're not in a class, but I think every actor should be in an acting class, always, or at least private coaching with someone, you know, you don't know if things have changed. Because if you're like your litmus test for yourself, I think, you know, you got to watch that. And then, so I booked Kissing Booth. What happened? I was like three auditions into Kissing Booth. And then the folks that cast, oh, man, I love them.
Starting point is 00:42:29 I just forgot their names. Of course. Dang it. Doesn't matter. You love them. That's all it matters. They're great. They bring me in.
Starting point is 00:42:37 They trust me. And, you know, I went in. I sent the dance video, did the whole thing. And then I think a week later, I had the chemistry read. And then I booked it. So it was, you know, it was nice to be in that Netflix. atmosphere because I don't think I really auditioned for too many Netflix projects beforehand, like none.
Starting point is 00:42:56 Yeah, it seems like it's a great place because once you kind of are in, there are so many other opportunities you can get, you can do tons of different Netflix movies and obviously the Kizmi Booth. And we do know that you guys filmed two and three at the same time and you know, that's also happening, which I love. I think that's just a smart, I feel like that's such a smart thing to do them together because they always, the movies always pick up, like, where they left off. So when you wait another year or two to film, everybody kind of has like a different look and you're like, oh,
Starting point is 00:43:31 time isn't supposed to pass, but everybody kind of looks different. Did you have, did you have any nerves coming into, into this role? Because obviously, everybody loves Elean Noah and you're kind of, of the other guy. Like, was there any pressure to be like, all right, I got to nail this because people got to like me or else everybody's going to hate me? I know, I know.
Starting point is 00:43:55 But I guess the pressure came from within because I was like, wow, I've never played guitar. I haven't sung in a while. And, you know, there's this dancing choreography. So it was just like getting into that zone. It's kind of like an Olympic athlete, like getting ready for the Olympics. It's like you've been training forever. Now it's like you're going to qualify and then you have to perform. So it's like I just had to stay up to date on all the things.
Starting point is 00:44:20 So Vince, our director, really, like, really supported me, which I'm so grateful for. And he comes from Broadway. Like, he was on Broadway when he was, like, a child, like, eight years older, 12 years old or something. So he knows, like, what it takes to support actors that are, you know, on the musical side of things. And I'm so grateful for that because, you know, there's some people that, you know, will audition you. And then they're like, cool, cool, you got it, you know, with no coaches or with no one, really going through with like a fine tooth comb and being like, oh, you know, this part, it's a little, a little lump here. This part's a little, I would change this way, you know.
Starting point is 00:44:54 And he, you know, gave me this coach here, Dave Shelton. And, you know, I would learn. I was like, how do you do this? And then by the time I got to South Africa, our, my guy, his name's like, Jack Thomas. And he was like, we were like learning how to rock. I'm like watching stuff. And he would get up with me and like lean with me. And like, he's like, come on. Like, watch Mick Jagger. Watch, you know, watch the Rolling Stones. Watch, watch, you know, who else did he say? Like, guns and rows. Just like, watch how they rock.
Starting point is 00:45:23 He's like, just get loose. And so I was, you know, just so excited that he used to be in a band, you know? So, like, you know, people always ask me, like, what do you want to do next? Or like, what do you interested in? And I always say, like, I love projects, you know, where, you know, there's, like, a truth element to it or, you know, something that you can learn from, like, you can do your own research with it. because that's just so fun.
Starting point is 00:45:47 Like, I'm so about that. Yeah, and now, I mean, you practice the guitar. I mean, learn the guitar and all, like, all these things that you kind of had to perfect for this role. And which is awesome, because now you can obviously take that for other things that you do. You're like, look, I can sing, act, dance, play guitar, like, we've got it all.
Starting point is 00:46:06 And we'd be great. DDR, pro. Oh, DDR. Yeah, that was gnarly. Learning, because you don't just have, like, the, you know, like the four arrows on either side. Like we had the four silver things around the arrows, those squares, plus the silver in the middle that we had to utilize. And so like those kind of became step, you know, steps as well.
Starting point is 00:46:29 So it felt a lot more technical than normal dancing would. But I was also grateful for that because it was kind of like, you know, like learning like a memory type of game, you know, if you had to like, you like bop it, you know, like bop it and twist it and hit it. Like, you're just like, oh, I know this, I know this sequence already. Okay, cool. Yeah, I loved watching that whole dance sequence, obviously, the big showdown at the end. And I just, I just love the fact that the game is DDR because that's a game that I have played growing up.
Starting point is 00:47:00 Oh, you did. See that in arcade for me while, like, I guess, I do see it. Like, I don't even know how many arcades I really go to. I guess Dave and Busters. I think, like, really. But it was just awesome to watch. that and it's just such a fun game to watch and not like a regular dance competition. It's like I just love the whole element of it and also seeing how you guys filmed it
Starting point is 00:47:23 because obviously when you're watching the movie you think it's in front of this huge arena and there's so many people watching and all these extras and whatever but then you look at how you guys filmed it and it's just a green screen. No no we were okay so I got to explain that for the record. Okay okay I think that Instagram that yes that Instagram video for sure made everyone think no one was there. Totally. I know. And Joey and I were both like, shit, shit. No, like,
Starting point is 00:47:48 there were two, like, if you watch the play-by-play, Netflix posted it, and I think I reposted it yesterday, it'll do our commentary on the final dance competition. So all of the scenes in the arcade were in the arcade. But the green screen moment was that last scene when I say, I think like just like go and feel the music. And we start, like, we're kind of in. slow motion with each other, that was the green screen.
Starting point is 00:48:16 So what we did was we did, how do we do that? We did the speaking parts in the arcade. Up until we stepped foot on the DDR, DDM machine, that's when we, quote, moved like days later to the green screen. So then the green screen, the camera was on a dolly going around us in a circle, and they shot plates of the arcade so they could put the plates on the green screen so that we could be slow mode
Starting point is 00:48:51 and the background could be in, you know, normal motion. So it was very technical. I know it's a little confusing, but when we actually get the big... We're both like nodding our head like, yeah, we totally get what you're saying. I mean, it was basically an Avengers movie, you know, because it was all green screen.
Starting point is 00:49:10 But then the final dance, if you watch that, we had like 2,000 extras there. And the moment that we kissed, like the first actual kiss on the, I don't think we even rehearsed. I think it was like, let's just film it because we were there. We only had the place for a day to get all the dancing done. So when we kissed, the actual audience gasped.
Starting point is 00:49:31 Gassed. Like there was no, there was no in between like, huh? Or like clapping. It was gasp, boo. and then Joey and I just started laughing and kind of like got off the stage. We're like, oh my God, oh my God. They hate us right now.
Starting point is 00:49:46 And, you know, as an extra, you can't, I think you signed NDA's, you can't talk about anything. So that was, I'm sure that was rough for them to keep in. My God. That's so funny because that would have been me. Like, I would have been like, boo. Because I, it's so funny. Like, when the trailer came out for the movie,
Starting point is 00:50:03 we talked about it on our show and I talked to Ria about it. And I was just like, this guy, if he ruins Ellen Noah, I'm gonna be so pissed. And then I was texting Ria as I was watching it the first time. And it was like a stream of consciousness. I texted her like 10 times and she just didn't answer. I put my phone down for one second and then I picked it back up and I have at least 20 text messages from Fran. I'm like, friend, I gotta watch the movie.
Starting point is 00:50:30 I have no idea. Yeah. She's like, I haven't even watched yet. Like stop ruining it for me because I'm like, I'm texting her. I'm like, all right, wait, pot twist. I really like Marco. This is going to mess this up for me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:42 So for the extras, it's so funny. I just feel like everybody goes off of the first movie because you don't see anything else where you're just like, oh, no. Yes. And the fact that he's in the audience and sees it, yeah. But I would say the best part of it was that she kissed Marco, you know? So, and I like to like, I like to keep that because, you know,
Starting point is 00:51:07 there was somewhere, someone wrote that, you know, like these two new additions to the cast that were people of color are coming in as villains in this film. And I read that. I was like, that's so false. Like, from the beginning, Maisie, who plays Chloe, is, yes, a threat to Elle because of the way she looks and how she's, you know, the proximity she is to her boyfriend. But she's like a worldly woman. And she, you know, no as a boy to her. And, you know, it's more of like a support system. And, you know, like a buddy, like a college buddy.
Starting point is 00:51:44 And of course, I feel like, you know, the filmmaker definitely, you need to have that moment of like, oh my God, are they, will they? Are they going to? And same on the side of Marco, where Marco is introduced on that embarrassing side of like watching, you know, the sexy video of him working out. And then that weird me cute of like, I'm not embarrassed.
Starting point is 00:52:01 Like, oh, well, I'm not embarrassed either, you know. And she's clearly embarrassed. And it starts this, I don't, It's like slightly flirty, but also, I mean, it's very flirty, totally, totally flirty. Like, you know, but I would say that he's good at DDM. He's a big heart and he knows the, you know, her relationship status. But I don't think you can help like falling in love, you know, if you do, if you do fall in love. And I felt like they do start to have feelings for each other.
Starting point is 00:52:27 But I felt like he keeps his arm's arm distance. I don't know if that, if you guys agree with that, go. I honestly will say that I feel like obviously the tension the sexual tension was so high but I feel like it was like respectful in both ways up until obviously the kiss at the competition but I will say at the end of the movie when Elle ends up with Noah I was kind of pissed because I'm like okay now I'm rooting for Marco I still don't trust Noah I still think there's some sketch shit going on with Chloe even though they're like guest friends like I I I I then became attached to Marco and Elle because I'm like, okay, and obviously, you know, you know what goes
Starting point is 00:53:10 on in the third one. We don't. I'm just like, oh, now this relationship is out the window. Meanwhile, they just had this steamy moment and everyone's so captivated, which I'm sure we will see a little bit unfold in the third one. But you definitely grab the audience's attention from what I'm seeing. I mean, you're blowing up everywhere. And I feel like everyone had a positive reaction to Marco. Yeah, I feel like Team Marco has a lot of Team Marco Yeah, and I'm like not on Twitter And so my director Vince keeps texting me like, yo, Twitter still loves you Or like they're hashtag Tim Markoing and I I say I don't know how to use that
Starting point is 00:53:48 But thank you Stay off it. Stay off of it. Not even looking at it. But I will say that my numbers on social media Keep growing like daily like 100,000 more Marco Pena fans, which is cool. And so I'm looking forward to the, you know, like the third movie.
Starting point is 00:54:08 And like, you know, because alliances will be challenged, I'll say. Ooh. Yeah, you know, it's one of those, I know. I'm so excited. It sucks because you almost don't want to know that the third one's already done because it's easy to be like, oh, I can wait because they haven't filmed it yet. And then it comes out knowing it's done, I'm like, I'm like, release the third one. What are we looking for?
Starting point is 00:54:31 But that was the coolest thing. Like that, you know, Netflix was like, we're going to wait until Sunday, like 40 hours later. Because, you know, at the end of two, it's like Berkeley or Harvard. Right, right. Lee or Noah. And like, where's Marco? And so I felt like if they would have put it forth before
Starting point is 00:54:50 and put a deadline article out saying like, hey, this is like they're doing two movies. I felt like the fans would have less of a momentary cliffhanger to think about what could happen now. And, you know, I feel like they would be excited, like, oh, my God, I hope this is a third movie. It has to be a third movie. It just creates, like, cool chatter. And it's kind of fan-driven, which is, which is the coolest part of this movie is that, you know, you can put billboards everywhere for days. And because of the success of the first movie, people are just still waiting.
Starting point is 00:55:20 Like, they're Googling, One's Kissing with Two coming out. Once Kisses with Three coming out, you know? So that's, it was so excited to, like, Zoom crash all of these kids, like, from all over the world. and like some of them were like you know gasped gasped when I saw Joey or like I would come in first and they're like and then joy would come in they'd scream like it was it was hysterical yeah that's amazing and you also so good um you mentioned the social media reaction which obviously I said you've been blowing up the Instagram followers are climbing every day I'm you know kissing booth three comes out I say you have 10 million or more followers I'm locking it in but how are you dealing with that because obviously it is a lot to take in.
Starting point is 00:56:02 There's so many opinions all over the place. And, you know, you kind of just have to drown it out, but you also have to take in the compliments as well. Yeah, I feel like I've always been very good at the filtering, you know, because as artists, we know when things are good, we know when things are bad. And I can admit, either way. But, you know, Joey's been like,
Starting point is 00:56:22 Joey's been a guiding light in that world. You know, people clown on her on Twitter all the time, and she just laughs at it. She's like, oh, my God, I kind of do look like this. or, you know, like just goofy photos. And I told her I wasn't on Twitter, and she was like, stay off. You don't even need to be on there. Like, get off.
Starting point is 00:56:36 And I said, I've never been on. I have no interest. I'm sure one day I'll probably have to start live tweeting or something. But I don't read my comments, usually. I gave out my number for people to share, like, you know, to text me. And I've been, like, getting back to them that way. Because I feel like the negative people aren't going to go out of their way to text my phone number. You know, I feel like the positive people.
Starting point is 00:57:00 are. So, you know, I've gotten, like, hundreds of thousands of text messages from people. And, you know, I've been sending them, you know, photos individually. I've been, like, texting them. And sometimes they've been like, hey, like, take a picture with a pencil. And I'm like, okay. So, like, take a picture of the pencil. And they're like, it is you. You know, so it's fun. Like, you know, these kids, for me, like, these kids didn't have a high school graduation. You know, they had all socially distanced or, like, non-existent. So, you know, we kind of had our big graduation in the, in the movie. We had our homecoming in the movie. And, you know, I feel like it's, it's just the rightest thing to do is to give back to these fans that are really, this is like,
Starting point is 00:57:38 their only, maybe this could be their only positive thing they have right now. So I'm, I've just been trying to keep the positive side of things and, you know, we started this mask campaign yesterday, the whole cast. Yeah. So that's been really cool. You know, I did like a limited release of one of my colors through like some text message that I did. And, you know, so that was kind of special for, I'll show it to you. I don't, we're not, are we like actually recording on like video or not?
Starting point is 00:58:03 It doesn't matter. Yes, we can show. We can show it. We'll see you. Okay, cool, no words. Yeah. So, like, this is the mask. Oh, sweet.
Starting point is 00:58:11 That is really. On the website. Thank you. It's like 3D knitted and it's like indestructible. It's crazy. And it's, uh, it's just, it's so cool.
Starting point is 00:58:20 Like, I'm so excited to support all these organizations that we're supporting. Like we have Children's Hospital. We have Elvalor, which helps disabled kids. We have like Triangle Project which helps trans kids in South Africa. we just, you know, it's cool.
Starting point is 00:58:33 So anyway, it's cool to be able to outreach with, you know, the platform that, like, is gaining traction. And I don't know, I haven't seen, like, if they say team market, team, team Noah, I just, sometimes I'll comment like, no, or like, you know, like stuff like that, which is, it's fun. And Joey's like, that's a slippery slope. I wouldn't do that. Right.
Starting point is 00:58:54 Yeah. And where can people buy those masks, by the way, I just want to shout that out quickly. Oh, sure. Yeah. variant malibu.com. Yeah. And I mean, it's like all over my Instagram. We,
Starting point is 00:59:05 during the beginning of COVID-19, I partnered up with them because they started to create PPE masks that had a BFU99 filter in it and then we were doing buy one give one. So actually one of my, one of my reps, his mother works at a hospital.
Starting point is 00:59:22 And so we coordinated with them to send them a box of masks. And we did some some people on the on the border of Mexico and California and it's just been it's been so rewarding you know
Starting point is 00:59:38 and to see that like no carbon footprints like 98% less waste than you know making this shirt like I won't lie this shirt is probably like a cut and sew and like there's lots of trash from it so it's cool to be able to take small steps and like it's kind of like twofold right like everyone needs a mask
Starting point is 00:59:55 everyone wants a cool mask and it goes for an organization so yeah Thank you for shouting it out. No, that's amazing. Yeah, definitely is. I mean, and you seem like a guy, you know, we can just tell from your Instagram and stuff like that.
Starting point is 01:00:07 You're very outdoorsy. You're out doing things. We know, like, you guys just took some trip, right? Like, you're, like, jumping in waterfalls, like, jumping. You guys, it looked amazing. Joey was with you guys. I think how hard has it been now being, like, friends with Joey and kind of hanging out and everyone immediately being, like,
Starting point is 01:00:27 they're dating. Oh, yeah, I know. It's not hard, I guess, because we were kind of quarantined buddies. So I would see her all the time. We live like five minutes away from each other just happenstance. And it was, I don't know, like we know, like we know what our relationship is. Like we love each other dearly. And, you know, I'm just, we were at this waterfall and this woman started taking pictures of me. And I didn't see it. I was like, you know, trying to jump and then Joey's like, yo, Tay, Tay. I was like, yeah, she's like, but just straight up, she's taking pictures of you. That's what she says to me, she's taking pictures of you. And I go, oh, who? She was that woman right there, I go, oh.
Starting point is 01:01:09 And I just look at her, I go, hey, I'll take a picture with you later if you want. I go, I just, I prefer you not like paparazzi me. And she's like, oh, I'm sorry, no, I just, I've watched the movie like 10 times and I was kind of just freaking out about it. And I said, no, that's cool. Like, I'll take a picture with you.
Starting point is 01:01:24 Yeah, it's fine. And then like, it got our mask on, I took a picture after we got dried off and stuff. But it's been interesting how everyone is trying to make something out of it. But it's fine. You know, it's like, hey, I would love to be dating Joey King. Like, she's dope. Like, she's, you know, like, I'm a huge proponent of, like, dating your friend
Starting point is 01:01:44 and someone that you know and that you trust. And because, like, that's where it all starts, right? It's, like, that trust. Like, for me, intimacy, like, like, non-sexual intimacy is, like, like so much more important to me first because it's like I'm all about like this sounds terrible like I'm all about like an ROI like what's your return on investment like if I'm investing this much time into this person like I'm going to start dating I want to make sure that this is not just going to be like a three month thing like I'm always I always feel like I'm more long term um goal wise like
Starting point is 01:02:20 when it comes to work and relationships and just everything because it's like you know like life's life's short. Like, we think it's really long, but life's short, like, you want to spend it with, like, the best people. And, like, I'm, like, so much more turned on
Starting point is 01:02:34 by emotional intimacy than, like, sexual intimacy. I just, at first, like, I just, like, love that. I feel like so many more girls are going to listen to this and be like, oh, we're team Marco. Yeah, I feel like that is also great
Starting point is 01:02:47 for our listeners to hear because I feel like everyone gets caught up in their looks and whatever it is and they think eyes only care about, like, sex or whatever it is. So to hear a guy like you'd be like, oh, no, I really care about like an emotional relationship. It's probably giving so many women hoax right now. It's just so much easier.
Starting point is 01:03:04 It's like less fighting. They're just so transparent with each other. And I mean, my sister, I think she's on like, she was on one of the dating apps. I'm like, you know, everyone is. You know, everyone's on a dating app. And she said that she'll have dudes hit her up, be all sweet. And then like at midnight be like, hey, you want to like, I don't want to say it. Like, am I allowed to say?
Starting point is 01:03:25 Like basically like a you up text like a you want to have and then come over yeah what the hell like what the hell and then she's like F guys you know like fuck these guys I'm so so over this and then yeah always these you up texts or you know they'll send like you know dick picks my sister's like there is nothing worse than receiving a picture of a guy's dick like unsolicited like nobody asked no no one asked and she's like I just Like, I just don't get it, like, immediately blocked. And I have your Instagram, so I just, like, I think I'm just going to post it to my story and be like, this guy is gross.
Starting point is 01:04:03 Or something like that. But the horror stories that I hear, like, what guys, what guys ask women, like, if this was the Howard Stern show, I would say all the things that I've heard. Oh, we've also heard it all. Trust me. We get the most horrid DMs. I'm just like, I, like, laugh at it at this point because I'm just like, who? does this. Like nobody in my life that I know would act this way. So these people are just on a whole other
Starting point is 01:04:31 planet. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Fake people. I think I've ever sent one of those images to anyone. The cloud. Even like in the Snapchat days. Yeah. The cloud will keep that shit and it's going to haunt you. Exactly. That's true. Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. Well, Taylor, this was so much fun speaking with you. What can people look forward to? Well, Kissy Moot 3, which is exciting.
Starting point is 01:05:07 You know, that's coming. And, you know, I think I'm in this cool position where, you know, we have this movie coming out and we just have a lot of scripts coming in that I, I don't want to say I get to be choosy, but I get to be more, I get to spend more time with these projects before, because the quarantine and the protocols for filming. So there's kind of like an extra moment for me to take a beat and really just look at everything.
Starting point is 01:05:29 So we have a couple projects, hopefully a Netflix, another Netflix project. Like I just, they're awesome. Like I love them over there. And yeah, I mean, I'm not even fitting to you. Like I fit for the third movie. Like, I'm not sure yet. Amazing. And also you can shop your mask.
