Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad-free on Amazon Music. Chicks in the Office with Ryan, friend, and me that Friday on a Friday. Why? I know. It just seemed like really struggled to get through that. Beep-bop, boom-bop.
Starting point is 00:00:37 Coming to you live from L.A. Oh, happy Friday, everyone. And we've had one espresso martini each. Espresso. Espresso martini. Not espresso. God, this is this position I'm in is giving me a workout. A workout.
Starting point is 00:00:56 I don't know why. I can't get comfortable on this couch. Thank God we're going home. I know. Well, we are, you know, wrapping up our trip in L.A. This is the last stop. A trip. I can't speak.
Starting point is 00:01:08 We have lost the ability to speak. We have talked so much that words are not properly coming out of my mouth. But I'm feeling great right now. We are wrapping up our trip in L.A. And we had a great day today. Great day. We had Taylor Lautner and Taye Lottner, the Taylor Lottner's on our podcast. And that is on today's episode.
Starting point is 00:01:27 And they were great, lovely, lovely people. Seriously. Great people. So nice. Sentimental moment for one second, I will say. And I said it to them at the end of the interview. You'll hear it. But we have just really gotten so many.
Starting point is 00:01:43 get yourself situated for this so many cool situations and interviews with people who we have grown up loving and being such huge fans of and then we get to talk to them in real life and they're just so sweet and kind and good people
Starting point is 00:02:03 that it's just so nice it makes me proud to be a fan of them I know like wow they really grew up to be great people exactly it's just like it really is cool. And just to even like have the opportunity to talk to all these people is so cool. I'm starting to get my sentimental moment is going into the fact that we do have to address the there's a giant mushroom light that's just if you're watching on YouTube it's just in the shot. Beep bop boop bong. We're just greeting us up to space. Greetings.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Earthlings. Yeah. Friend is not like I've been doing that for the past half hour. I don't know. I'm not a fan of that voice. I don't know what it is. It's freaking me out a little bit. Give me one though. You haven't given me one for the past half hour. I've been talking. I don't. I don't like it. Well, beep bop. Maybe if you join, Sarah, can you do one? Run over to, run over to know it. I don't think I can really get that volume.
Starting point is 00:02:53 Beep bab. I need a little more alien from you. What does that mean? Can you give me a demonstration? Bebop. Bebap. Like robotic. Greetings.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Greetings, earthlings. Yeah. Isn't it fun when you join in? So I, yes. It is always fun to join in. I just, you know, something about. the way you were saying it was really bad
Starting point is 00:03:14 Hello but yeah this is a Yeah it's right in our faces You know Now we gotta make do With what we got right And it's bad lighting
Starting point is 00:03:25 Nower Or good lighting Depends how you look at it Or bad lighting You want to give some Context We had a great time At the screening
Starting point is 00:03:35 Met a lot of great people A couple in particular He was calling Noah would. Noer. Not to my knowledge. When I talked to him, he said Noah. He called you knower.
Starting point is 00:03:51 No less than 20 times. Which makes me think that, and maybe he'll, you know, you re-shared his story so maybe he can correspond with you on this directly. Maybe it was just like a, is that a known joke? Something. None of us said anything. It's like none of us said like, why are you saying that? It seemed like it was.
Starting point is 00:04:11 We just let it go. It seemed like it was an inside joke that none of us. of us were in on, but him and his girlfriend were. Like, they watch the podcast at home and they go, No one of their personal nickname for him. Yeah, like, they look, oh, it's Nower again. Classic Noor. Because we got on the car and Sarah was like, what was up with that guy
Starting point is 00:04:27 calling Noah, no, noer? And I was like, thank God. Somebody else knows this. Like, was this like a meme thing, you know, like, Ermigerichner. Greetings, it's Noah. Like, those, you know, with the, Ermigurd.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Say what? Greetings, it's Nower. Like in that voice. Yeah. Greetings. It's now I don't know. Perfect. But we really had a great time of the screening in L.A. We met a bunch of lovely people in Los Angeles.
Starting point is 00:04:57 That was lovely and no hard feelings, which was awesome. Yeah. Hope everybody love the movie. Go see the movie. Go see it. It's very funny. Yes. Go see No Hard Feelings. We love No Hard Feelings. It was very funny. And it is the comedy event of the summer. No Hard Feelings is an. outrageous R-rated laugh-out-loud comedy and edgy R-rated laugh-out-law comedy that star Jennifer Lawrence, no less, who is hilarious and she is very funny in this movie.
Starting point is 00:05:26 We don't get to see her in comedy movies often when we do. We have to check it out from the director of Good Boys and the co-writer, A Bad Teacher, the comedy event of the summer. We loved having these screenings. We loved everybody who came to them, had a good time, laughed with the crowd. We, you know, it was such a cool thing that we haven't gotten to do yet. So it was really cool. And now...
Starting point is 00:05:47 You guys got to see the movie. Now No Heart Feelings is out in theaters. There's some absolutely insane beach scenes across the board. Multiple. Multiple beach scenes. Yeah. That are... I would have liked to watch them film these, you know?
Starting point is 00:06:01 Just from a production standpoint. Yeah. How did they accomplish this? Yeah. But No Hard Feelings is now playing exclusively in movie theater. So get your tickets now. Rate it R. Bring your friends. Go laugh it up in the theater right at the start of summer.
Starting point is 00:06:14 We had a beautiful dinner after the screening. We also had a beautiful one of, we had some, we stuck in some pool time today. We did. I was just going to tell a story and then we can like, I know. I thought we could go in chronological order. Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:30 Miss rules. I'll take you back from this morning. I mean, it's not chronological order because we talked about the screening first. Right. We were talking, so I was just going based off that. Well, I wanted to talk about this. I'm so sorry.
Starting point is 00:06:40 I was going first. I want to talk about guys I at the Montreal. Listen. now that we're leaving Yeah We're at the Mondrian Yeah And it's all we can talk about
Starting point is 00:06:50 Guys at the Mondrian That's where it happened I posted on my Instagram We're still here But that's okay Yeah Guys Night at the Mondrian I just was like staring
Starting point is 00:06:58 at the corner of the sky bar Today when we were up there Being like damn These are the steps Raquel came up When she surprised guys night We should go reenact that Tom's like no way
Starting point is 00:07:10 We should We should We should go do that I mean, there's going to be people down there. It's Raquel. Let's tell the stories, though, before. I will not do that while people are around. I know.
Starting point is 00:07:23 When we went Monday night, there was a nobody. I didn't see a single soul in there. But now it's Wednesday. It's Wednesday. Things are starting to turn up, you know. Could be. I feel like people in L.A. took, take like two nights office,
Starting point is 00:07:35 maybe Monday and Tuesday. Right. And then the rest of the night, people are out on the town. They're having a guy's night. But yes, we sat by the pool. It was lovely. So you're telling you. story first.
Starting point is 00:07:45 Yeah, well, because there's not really a story. Okay. It's just more like we had a froset. We tried goop chicken. Chicken. Goop kitchen. Goop kitchen. Goop.
Starting point is 00:07:56 That girl who asked you, she's like, goopie. Goopie. She's like gooey. What's it called gooey? Excuse me, bitch. It's goop by Gwyneth. Yeah. Goop Kitchen.
Starting point is 00:08:06 And I'll say this. Gwen, that was what she's doing. It's a delicious salad. That was a delicious salad. I said they had salads like that in New York City. It was so unbelievable. and yeah it was really delicious we did get to sneak in an hour at the pool we did we snuck him in there busy bees but we got that pooling and it was it was dandy it was uv was high you was high but you were
Starting point is 00:08:27 your sunscreen kids I was what you were like hiding from the sun a little bit I was sitting in the you're afraid to pop your top in front of us I just think it would be weird I just think it'll be a little weird I knew she was going to bring it no like I wasn't thinking about it all day no no we like are in our bikinis whatever I've said something about it before And then no was afraid to pop top, which I get, you're trying to. But I'm also, I've never been a guy who's like shirt off all the time. Like I'm like, I know. But it's just.
Starting point is 00:08:52 I'm not judging you. I'm curious. It was less here. It didn't bother me as more as much as it did in Tampa. When we were in Tampa, I was like, it is so hot out. It was humid. And you were lounging. Like you were laying on a lounge chair.
Starting point is 00:09:07 I posted that picture today. I know. And I was like, you know, Popper top. Don't be afraid. We're all friends here. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know
Starting point is 00:09:15 but now it's built up so much that I can't do Now it's too big of a deal You did You have It's extended It's gone too long You have
Starting point is 00:09:22 You have taken it for too long now That when If you were To take off your shirt It would be charred Let's say that I did it today Like I just like My jaw would have been on the floor
Starting point is 00:09:31 I'm like I'm not trying to have that Yeah you don't want the attention now If you did it like the first time ever It'd be like whatever But when was that Like there's been like maybe like Less than five opportunities
Starting point is 00:09:42 That we've been together He's like, I have much time, and we're rarely in bathing suits all together. But, oh, well, wait. We had that house in California. In Phoenix, did you go in the pool? I put my feet in. He had his top on.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Oh, you had your shirt on the whole time in Phoenix. I keep saying, yeah, why are you saying? He had his top on. I was forgetting because, I mean, we spent the whole day at the pool. Sarah, did you think to yourself, why I didn't know his top off?
Starting point is 00:10:08 Oh, my God. Sorry, I just realized. I feel like I'm going to change. Oh, I'm not shaming you. You want to pop it. off right now. Take it off. We're in your bedroom.
Starting point is 00:10:18 It would be inappropriate. And there's cameras. It feels very casty, couchy. Yeah, yeah. And we're on the couch. Yeah. Tables have turned.
Starting point is 00:10:26 People watch us. I don't want to like outshine you guys at the pool. Understandable. I get it. So true. I totally get it. But anyways, we went to dinner and it was great. And we got in the car and then I said, do you guys want to go take a quick shot at the bar
Starting point is 00:10:41 before we go record? And Sarah said, I have an emergency shot in my bag. I said, what? She was, yeah, I have an emergency shot in my bag. And she just whipped out this tiny bottle of gray goose. A nip of gray goose. She goes, yeah, just in case anybody needed a shot at some point.
Starting point is 00:10:53 I said, Sarah, you just have opened up the doors to yourself. Because Sarah is, Sarah is, you know, fairly quiet at times. And all of a sudden, we just saw this new side of her in one blip. One moment. Well, we're just catching more. Closer. As time goes on, you know, you know, I'm a slow burn. Yeah, yeah, there you go.
Starting point is 00:11:11 More comes out. And she is a party in a person. I love that. That was so great. We also didn't take shots if anyone's wondering. We did not. Because we ran right to know his room. Guys.
Starting point is 00:11:22 We could. Another big L.A. celebrity for me today. I'm on a role. I was there too. I know. I saw. But you're not as excited about it as I am.
Starting point is 00:11:33 No, I was excited, but you were kind of taking like all the shine away. You were like, I held the door for Logan Lerber. I saw Logan Lerman. I was like, I was standing right next to you. You just like to shine away from me saying who it was. Oh, I'm sorry. Sorry. We've become diva since we've been there.
Starting point is 00:11:49 More like a small celebrity setting, if you know what I mean. You was so tiny. But he's got to those piercing blue eyes. We were walking out of the movie theater. Thank you for including me in the story. We were. Yes. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:12:04 We were walking at the movie theater, Ria and myself. And he was also coming out of the movie theater, maybe a day. friend. I don't know. He was with a young lady. And I Cuselying them. I saw him the corner of my eye. Like, turned around. I looked at you. I'm getting better at speaking without really moving my mouth.
Starting point is 00:12:24 Yeah. You know? I was like, those lug and luring him behind us. He definitely heard you. You know, it's fine. And you're telling me that guy doesn't hear people whisper in his name everywhere he goes. Especially at the Grove. Percy Jackson. Yeah. Lightning thief. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:39 I feel like he's the kind of guy who could walk around and not get noticed. That was what was happening at the grove. No one else was like. But he's the kind of guy that, yes, exactly. That's that guy from that thing. He's the kind of guy that I think you see and maybe you don't like sprint up to him but you do a double take and then you're like, oh, that was Logan Lerman.
Starting point is 00:12:58 And he also don't want to bother him. Yeah. Like it's Logan Lerman. I held the door for him. He said, thank you. And I said, you're welcome. Yes. And we also saw the guy from Shark Nato who's from Beverly.
Starting point is 00:13:09 who's from Beverly Hills now, 210. And I was saying his name wrong. Ion. I was very excited about this because, you know, it's going to sound silly because we do interview celebrities. I know. I don't run into, I don't see them on the streets. There is something so pure about just a celeb sighting on the street. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Like, oh my God, you're in L.A. Yeah. And you saw a celebrity. Like the first time we went out, L.A. It still gives me a thrill. It gives me an absolute thrill. We've had mega stars on our show, but I'm holding, like, I'm popping and seeing Logan Lerman behind me. I was like, yeah, like the first time when we, the first place we went to in L.A. ever.
Starting point is 00:13:50 Adam Brody and Leightonester right behind us. Yeah. We were like, what? I said, this is L.A. Yep. Remember Cody Simpson? Cody Simpson, right outside the Monterio. Jacob Allorty.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Jacob Allorty. Stacey, baby Olivia, Olivia, Jay. That might have been. That might have been the most we've ever seen. People just, you know, I guess you just get used to it when you live out here, right? because, like I was saying, when I saw, when I saw Jason, when I saw Jason Street at Starbucks, no, you know, he's wearing a pants. Did I talk about this? Yeah, no, not on the podcast.
Starting point is 00:14:22 How did I not bring this up? I don't know. I told everyone. The brains weren't working. Because I just told everybody. You did tell everybody. I told everybody. But he was in the Starbucks and he was reading a script.
Starting point is 00:14:35 I'm assuming Jenny and Georgia. and studying these lines. Yeah, maybe. And he was in a Panthers football t-shirt. And I'm like, you're begging to have somebody say something to you, you know? Or like maybe just give you a smirk, thumbs up, something.
Starting point is 00:14:52 Go Panthers. You don't, right. Like you don't go sit in a Starbucks in West Hollywood in a Panthers football t-shirt as Jason Street and not think people are going to give you a little like high, five or something. There are so many
Starting point is 00:15:09 cuter cafes. Then the Starbucks on sunset. Yeah. When you're in L.A., you get to advantage of them. I would say that's a nice Starbucks though. Right. But like he's looking for people, you know, Starbucks is a hot commodity.
Starting point is 00:15:21 You stay in your home and study your lines. I'm sure he's got a nice setup. I'm going to go to the Starbucks. I'm going to work for Starbucks today, babe. Yeah. That was a... You try to clean my Panthers teeth. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:15:33 That's another going. I just, there is a pure... excitement like you're a little kid again when you see a celebrity out in the wild like that. Yeah, it's hard to reel you in. Yeah. But they've, and I like that everyone's been doing normal stuff, you know? It was like, oh, he's in Starbucks. Logan Lerman, seeing a movie.
Starting point is 00:15:53 You've seen a movie. I think he was on a date. Yeah. That's so nice. Yeah. Sometimes I feel like movie stars don't go see movies in the movie theater. Logan did. I wonder what he saw.
Starting point is 00:16:02 I know. Maybe he saw no hard feelings. You should have asked him. You want to come? Yeah, you want special guests Want to the screening? Hey, love to you and hunters. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:13 Remember that? That was actually a good show though. Yeah. It was a good show. What else? What else? What else? No, there was other things that I feel like I wanted to talk about.
Starting point is 00:16:23 How about this weather, though? Every single person in L.A. is brought up to us how the weather's been good since we got here. Every single person. I feel like the weather is just like a topic of conversation at all times. I love it. It's been nice, though, because it really doesn't. seem like we brought nice weather so I will take credit for that 100% even the table next to us at dinner I heard them the guy was like people that have nothing to talk about here one of the best things in life
Starting point is 00:16:50 is just sitting back relaxing and for some people just getting high wherever you want wherever you want without the paranoia of consuming some sketchy stuff that you don't know where it's coming from which is the best way to do that it's with three chi of course three chi has the highest quality cannabis products from their delicious Delta 9 edibles and their industry leading Delta 8 products to their new line of Delta 9-0. Starting point is 00:18:16 I feel like maybe two of them were friends and it was like they're plus ones. One guy was really dominating the conversation. And I too, I was, I am an eavesdropper. I do love to eavesdrop. Me too. And, you know,
Starting point is 00:18:34 it went from weather to starting a little political. I got a stance going right now I'm ready to go He started to get a little political I heard something about you know He's L.A. L.A. leftist Something along those lines
Starting point is 00:18:50 I did hear that. I tuned out after that So I think this started to get pretty intense That's when I started tuning in I was like ooh this is gonna get spicy Yeah yeah right exactly Yeah I don't know That's a fun double date conversation
Starting point is 00:19:03 So so exciting right But yeah that we were also with the Henry which was lovely. Lovely. Shout it to Larissa who set that up for us. So nice. Great food. Cute place.
Starting point is 00:19:18 Are you? And better than our dinner? Wednesday night. Tuesday night, I think. Yeah. Yeah. You know. It's not a competition.
Starting point is 00:19:27 No. It is that when you have two similar meals and you say this one was better than that one. I'm hesitant to talk about the dinner. I mean, we went to Elefonte because people know because obviously we posted it on Instagram. So it's all that people don't know where we went. I really did enjoy my meal. I just, they got to fix that table situation.
Starting point is 00:19:51 It really was. Make them a high table. Put that. We were a table behind the bar if you've been there and they're very low seating. Lift it up. They could do more with that. They could. They could do more with that space.
Starting point is 00:20:06 They could. They could. the space a lot better. Because if you get one of those back tables, might as well be in a cafeteria. It's true, though. I kept standing and sitting down to see the view. Because everyone's like, oh, the view, the view.
Starting point is 00:20:23 I'm like, go ahead and see the view. We were at Santa Monica. I didn't even see the pier. Yeah. I'm pissed. I didn't even get to see the fucking pier this time. Every time we come here, I go see the pier. My cocktail was delish.
Starting point is 00:20:33 Every time we come here, I go see the pier. I didn't see the pier this time and I'm upset. My cocktail was really good. I didn't get to go to the PCH. You always take a drive to the PCH. You are the PCH's number one fan. You had a ton of time, though. Not to drive.
Starting point is 00:20:45 No. He went shopping. What? Yeah, you had a leisurely day. I went shopping one. You bought two new shirts. Since we've been here. Well, today it was just like we were at the growth.
Starting point is 00:20:56 But I'm saying like to... It takes an hour to just even get out to Malibu without trash. Like, I would have gotten stuck. Oh, true, true. Like, it takes a long time to get out there. In Malibu. Yeah. Sarah, you, it was your first time in L.A., right?
Starting point is 00:21:12 Second. I went one time when I was living in San Diego, but like for one day and we stayed on like the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It's really bad. It's not a good spot to say. What did you think? This trip. Favorite star?
Starting point is 00:21:25 I think that's like in New York and stay in Times Square. Yes, exactly. Yeah, I like it a lot better now, especially like hanging with you guys and going a nice dinner. Thank you. It's been a love. We have had a lovely trip. We've had good food, lovely trip.
Starting point is 00:21:38 productive trip. Work, work, work. I feel extremely productive. So do I. I'm proud of us. I'm proud of us. I'm proud of the team. Me too.
Starting point is 00:21:45 We've had, you know, quite a run. Yeah. This is it. This is the last podcast. We are retiring. We never shut the fuck up, but specifically in the last three days, we have not shut the fuck up. And specifically in the last two months since May 4th, which was our first show.
Starting point is 00:22:03 But now that everything's wrapping up and it's going to slow down for a little bit for the summer, I will say everything was, really great. Everything was productive. We got a lot done. These are probably the busiest months of our entire career. I would say, like, I don't think we've had a run like this. Historic run. It has been. It has been. Like, I don't think we've traveled this consecutively. And then on top of that, have like really cool experiences and get to go out to L.A., which is always a good time. And it always feel like a little special here. You know what I mean? Totally. It's the big city lights here. Well, that's like, say, New York. Yeah. The field of dreams.
Starting point is 00:22:39 Is that here? No. The field of the dreams, I think, is middle of nowhere. City of Angels. City of Angels. Rock and roll, baby. La La Land. La Land.
Starting point is 00:22:49 Where anything could happen. Exactly. You know what? We should go to Mahal and drive and recreate the Emma Stone, Ryan Gosting dance scene. Would you? Yes. I love Mahal and Drive. I know you do.
Starting point is 00:23:02 She's asking, would you be, would you do the video? No, I'm not asking to go to Mahaland Drive. And I, Windy Road in the dark. No, please. Fun fact, that that's where I was going when I totaled my car. Yes. Yes, which is why I'm saying. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:15 I would do it, though. I would recreate the dance. But I'm saying, would you be Ryan Gosling? Yeah. What? I jump up on that. Oh, my God. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:23:23 Oh, my God. I would jump up on the bench. We didn't know. I just, you know, you're so embarrassed if everybody's seeing that video of you dancing when you were a child, but now you're fully danced. Because I was, that was, that was me as a child dancing to Michael Jackson and I was out of control. Not in high school.
Starting point is 00:23:36 No, middle school. I've never seen. I've never seen you dance. But that's, that's less embarrassing as a kid. I really don't. Have you ever seen him? Bust a move right now?
Starting point is 00:23:46 But like it would be, I mean, we've seen, we've been out with him. It'd be like ironic. I really haven't seen him like. It's a bops. You're a bopper. You're a sway.
Starting point is 00:23:54 That is the, that's the appropriate dance move. This is what you live. Yeah. Yeah. Like, if I'm really getting into it, maybe like, they don't need no pizza.
Starting point is 00:24:03 Can you, can you give us? No. Can you give us like a little like one of these. like a little like a... You're going to be off camera. What? Give us a little like a little jump. What the heck are you doing?
Starting point is 00:24:14 What is that? Like who does that? You in the bunny hop. Give us like a little like, you know what I mean? What do you mean? That, I just want to see you do a little like... Why though?
Starting point is 00:24:23 To jump up in the air? I'm on Noah's side on this one. I don't know what you're doing. It's not a dance. It's not a move. That's not a dance. You just want to see me jump. Okay, guys.
Starting point is 00:24:31 I'll go fuck myself. Sorry. I'm saying if you, if you want to dance, Make him dance. There's no music. I'll play. Come on.
Starting point is 00:24:41 Come on. We'll sing something for you. Come on. We'll sing right now. I'm not dancing. L is for the way you look. How would you even dance? I was going to say this is a little like.
Starting point is 00:24:51 This would get, yeah, that would be this. Yeah. I want you to get up on your feet and do something. Come on, please. There's not even a camera. No, what. Bust it. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:25:04 Bust him on. Nerve. Nerve. You got a nerd. Come on. No, nerd. No, er. No, come on.
Starting point is 00:25:12 You're going to recreate La La Land, but yeah, you can't even fucking shine right now. You're not going to do shit. There's no music, and what am I supposed to do? No music. No music. What about like, uh, what about like the robot or something? Yeah, hit the robot first. Why?
Starting point is 00:25:29 You are so confident about you putting on a rhyme Gosling. You were going to jump up on the bench. I would. What a change in tune. That's not like crazy. Like, it wasn't anything crazy. You won't,
Starting point is 00:25:40 you won't do a little. That's why I was doing the jump. That's dumb. But that's why I was doing the jump because you said that you would jump out of the bed so I was doing a little hop. Oh, that's why you were doing it? Yeah, like what you would, like a little hop.
Starting point is 00:25:52 You don't think of that I can hop. Let's see those toesies move. All right. Whatever. Moving on. Boring. Worse. Won't take his top off.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Won't dance. This guy doesn't do anything. I forgot about that. Oh my God, I'm sorry. We have really been... Now I'm gonna be like, take your top off for you. Yeah, don't.

Starting point is 00:28:49 Oh, so there goes to game. I was going to say, I think that's the other. Truth or dare. Okay, no, truth or dare. Why would I do it when you didn't do mine? Just to see what it might be. Okay, go.
Starting point is 00:29:01 Truth or dare. There. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Shut up. He walked right into that Yeah Take your top
Starting point is 00:29:12 Oh Dare Show us your nipples Take your top off dance Or do the emergency shot You have to do one I would do the emergency shot Give it to me
Starting point is 00:29:28 I haven't It's warm now What about the one in the fridge The tripod's in the way No no no It's okay guys Responsible Yeah, we are responsible.
Starting point is 00:29:39 I mean, you can be responsible. And dance. And dance. And we danced. I know you guys don't want to talk about this, but let's not forget that when we were coming to the elevator. I said, yo, no, you might have I blow up your bathroom? Because I have never said that in my life. I've never used that term in my life.
Starting point is 00:30:06 But sometimes when you think of something funny in your head and you go, what? What would happen if I just said this right now? The potty humor has got a staff from you. Let me live. I grew up, I grew up like hiding, you know? From potty humor?
Starting point is 00:30:21 Yeah. Yeah. You're having an unawakened. And I'm having an awakening to the... You know, bro, you mind if I blow up your bathroom? You're having an awakening to the joys of potty humor. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:31 And like, honestly, I didn't... Easy laugh. I didn't have to blow up his bathroom. Obviously, I did not. You did. No, I did not. I will... I peeed.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Shut up. I will always fall in the camp of It'll make me laugh It was just one of those things where I was like If I said this right now How would they all react? Yeah And so it just came out
Starting point is 00:30:50 And it hit It hit as hard as I did it did It did We all laughed And then you also laugh very hard at yourself You laughed so hard that you just Probably thought that other people laughing But we weren't
Starting point is 00:31:00 No we did all laugh Listen if you're not a fan of yourself Who's gonna be? Yeah Amen sister That's what I tell myself When I'm the only one laughing at my jokes You know what they say
Starting point is 00:31:11 the people that are smiling so much on the outside or the saddest on the inside. Do they say that? That took a different turn from really what you were saying. Does that mean you're just really sad? No. You're like someone's got to smile and laughing my jokes.
Starting point is 00:31:30 Right. No, I'm kidding. But because I always say that to make people uncomfortable because... I just thought of when I showed up to the theater and the first thing where he said to me was, are you looking at my tits? Well, I'm wearing a...
Starting point is 00:31:44 I am wearing a shirt that says main squeeze. I am wearing a shirt that says main squeeze and it's like this woman holding up lemons, which I thought were oranges and it looks like tities. The reason I said that, by the way, I'm not sad on the inside. I would tell you guys if I was. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:58 I think you would know because you did know when I was spent on the inside. No, you're pretty good these days. Yeah. The reason I say that is because bring it back to American Idol. Adam Lambert. Bring it back to American Idol.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Lambert performed Tears of a Clown by Smokey Robinson on his season on his season and I will never forget it was a beautiful rendition and one of the lines in that song is about is about that like you know how about the whole let me get the lyrics wait I can't picture um picture I can't like play that song in my head how's it go I'm gonna sing it for you when I bring up the lyrics I don't want to fuck it up yeah I know you can't technically play it but I want to I'm not gonna play it I'll sing it What's the chorus of that? Now if there's... Wait, hold on.
Starting point is 00:32:44 I'm really off tune. No smile, that king call. Okay. Yeah, but don't confuse me. I'm... I'll read the lyrics. Sing it. No, I like can't...
Starting point is 00:32:55 I need to play it for a second. Cut it out because I cannot remember the... Fine, I won't. I won't play it. I won't. If there's a smile on my face... It's only... The way...
Starting point is 00:33:04 No, I went... I had the idea of having to cut something out. It's just more working. Now, if there's a... if there's a smile on my face it's only there trying to fool the public but when it comes down to fooling you honey that's quite a different subject
Starting point is 00:33:17 that's how it starts let me get to the chorus boo I cannot play this song what is the meaning of the song oh what is the meaning of the song tears of a clown the song's about a clown who is sad and isolated
Starting point is 00:33:33 but still smiles but still smiles and pretends to be happy for the audience is that you're just a clown I'm just a whole Joker movie. You're just on stage, clowning it up. Yep, that's me.
Starting point is 00:33:46 I actually like love laughing. Remember when you were a clown for cutting stems? Yeah, that, that, I was sitting on the inside. What? It was. It was funny, though. Can I say, we had charity on. Yeah, the podcast.
Starting point is 00:34:04 It's going to be on Monday. That's going to be on Monday. And we were talking about something after. And as she was walking out the door, I said, don't worry, we would never spoil it. And I was like, she's not going to believe me. I'm the spoiler girl. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:20 I'm the one who made that big spoiler. You should have asked her about that if she heard about that. Well, I was like, as she was walking around, I was like, oh my God. She's probably rolled her eyes on the way out and said, this girl. It says we could trust her with a spoiler. It feels like so much time has passed, but it's really only been a few months. Yeah. It has, it was this year.
Starting point is 00:34:39 Yeah. I know. It feels like it was so long. long ago. Well, anyways, this has been a great catch-up. Yeah, the ads keep playing outside the hotel. This has been a nice little Kardashian catch-up. Yes, it has.
Starting point is 00:34:54 Anyways, you want to get the rest of the show? We do. All right. I do. Okay. Did you correct yourself and saying we do to I do because you felt like I didn't want to? No, I felt like I was speaking for the group.
Starting point is 00:35:07 You change it to I do. Yeah, because I wanted to really emphasize that I'm ready to move on to next part of the show. Let's pull the group then. Who else is ready to move on? Who else in the audience is ready to move on to the next portion of the show? Oh. I don't know the topic's yet, so.
Starting point is 00:35:23 Silence from the group. Do you have anything else who would like to share from our trip as we wind down? Is there anything else? What did we do yesterday before dinner? I'm asking you that. What did we do yesterday before dinner? What did we do yesterday before dinner? We went to the way.
Starting point is 00:35:39 Oh, you know what? We recorded yesterday. So we talked about it. We, yeah, and we recorded. What we did before dinner was sit right here and record this podcast. If anyone's going to Dead and Company. Oh, wait. This comes out after.
Starting point is 00:35:51 Yeah, yeah. Jesus. Yeah, yeah. It's tough. Pray for my guy, John. Rest up, John. Yeah. He hurt us back.
Starting point is 00:35:57 Rest up, big guy. Rest up, big guy. Pray for John. Pray for John. Taylor Lawdner. All right. Let's get into the rest of the topics. We are going to be talking about multiple trailers.
Starting point is 00:36:08 A lot of, a lot of trailers dropped. The Zoe 102 trailer dropped. The Priscilla trailer dropped. And then there was... Zendaya. The Challenger. Challenger, yeah. That also dropped.
Starting point is 00:36:21 So we're talking trailers. And then we have a great movie pod. Yeah, that's us. And then we have a great interview with Taylor and Taylor. And Taylor. No weekly watch report. We did not watch a single thing this week. Guys, we did not watch anything.
Starting point is 00:36:33 No double WR. Yeah. Yeah. We made a collective agreement that we have not watched anything. And honestly, the only thing I've watched were the two movies on the plane and I already talked about them on this show. I feel like I had some stuff.
Starting point is 00:36:49 All right, let's get into the rest of the topic. Black Mirror. Black Mirror, anyone? Great. No, I actually never watch Black Mirror. Neither about it freaks me out, but my sister was talking to me about Joan is awful. And it scared me a lot. She was like, it's really freaky.
Starting point is 00:37:05 It's crazy. It's like we'll scare you about real life, which is why I don't watch Black Mirror because I think things are too relatable to real life that could actually happen. And that's why I refrain from it Because I don't need to be up all night Thinking about that
Starting point is 00:37:15 I know About somebody making a TV show about my life I saw somebody associated with the black mirror Director or creator I don't know Some you know Somebody attached to show Who's saying that they had writer
Starting point is 00:37:24 That they had Chat GBT GBT Right an episode and it sucked And they didn't use it Really? Yeah Fucking losers Yeah
Starting point is 00:37:32 The hell is that I don't know You gotta come from me I don't know Do chat GBT Chat GBT or the writers of Blackbeer No chat GBT Oh
Starting point is 00:37:41 Oh, well, oh, oh. Yeah, I mean, you know, I wouldn't want to piss off the robots, but I think you're, I think you're okay. I was kidding. Yeah. It was just a joke. They like jokes. Yeah, they do. They do.
Starting point is 00:37:52 I've heard that. Cool. Black mirrors the one thing you want to bring up? Yeah. I mean, I watched the crowded, like the first episode of the crowded room, like, not great. Oh, I heard that was bad. Yeah, not great. Idol.
Starting point is 00:38:04 Tom Holland stopped acting from it or he's taking an acting break. I had a dream last night. I told you this. That Tom. Holland and Zendaya were, we were in some random city. Don't know where, don't know what. But all it was, it was all these bars like really, really close together. Nashville?
Starting point is 00:38:22 And I was, no, it was like a made up city. Like it wasn't even, you know, it's like we weren't even on Earth, but we were on Earth. Atlantis. And maybe. Atlantis is real. And, um. And they got into a fight. And I was just, I was an expert of these, like I knew where to go and they got into a fight.
Starting point is 00:38:40 and he didn't want to be seen by anybody, but he still wanted to have a good time. So I took him to all these bars. You took Tom Holland out for a good time. Where was Zendaya? They got into a fight. The friend swooped in and said Tom Holland's mine. He said, don't worry, Tom, I got you.
Starting point is 00:38:56 Shady. I got your, pal. Yeah, it's kind of fucked up. I know, I'm sorry. I, you know, it's where my dreams take me. If Tom Holland and Zendaya were hanging off a cliff, who would you save? Zendaya.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Zendaya. There you go. I wouldn't even go. think twice. Really? Yep. Zendaya has given us so much. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:16 So is Tom. So is Tom. I'm not a big Spider-Man. Tom seems more like innocent. It would be a tough choice. It would be a tough choice. When Noah said at dinner last night that if he was having a baby, he'd like to beat the traffic. He would want to have it in the middle of the night to beat the traffic.
Starting point is 00:39:31 We were talking C-sections. Which I am, by the way. He also, yeah, he said if he could choose when the time of day, he would give birth. it would be at night. Not when he was born. Yeah. The baby coming out of his peeve. Therefore,
Starting point is 00:39:48 no traffic. He said there's less traffic in that. I also, we were talking to someone who had a C-section and I was like, oh, that's like, yeah,
Starting point is 00:39:56 I mean, like, I would kind of be happy because they don't have to push. They, everyone, and literally everyone at the table was like, it was a deep sigh from the group.
Starting point is 00:40:05 Collective sigh. You know why? You're just, you're just, you think you learn more from hanging out with girls 24. You're just a stupid boy.
Starting point is 00:40:11 Yeah. Yeah So he sidetracked us from the time That really I'm sorry but that really made me laugh And he was like if I was giving birth I'd like to pick the traffic It's like yeah
Starting point is 00:40:21 My personal preference In the night quiet Yeah Just because think about the anxiety Of like being stuck in traffic And like you're having a baby Good thing you never have to experience that Well
Starting point is 00:40:32 Maybe if he has a wife If I have a wife And who gets in the labor And we're stuck in traffic Because it's the middle of the day I mean you could also You are still not the one Giving birth
Starting point is 00:40:40 Get pregnant someone who's not your wife. Yeah, that's true. It's very true. Very true. That could happen. It's happened before. Just kidding.
Starting point is 00:40:49 Anyways, let's get into the topic. Let's talk about those trailers, huh? Yeah. Right now I got my phone in hand, which means I also have my spec phone case on my phone. Starting point is 00:42:02 So check out spec CITO 25 for 25% off. Trailer number one. All right. Zoe 101. Why? It's a waste of time. Look, I have my feelings about, my feelings about this have changed greatly, right? You know, I think there's a small window for reboots or like a movie, something, where everyone
Starting point is 00:42:32 wanted to happen. And it needs to be made at the speed of light and come out as everyone's still excited about it. too much has happened, too much Nickelodeon stuff, too much Jamie Lynn Spears stuff, where now you're just kind of like, I don't really know if this is necessarily what we want or need. And it's like, it's obviously aimed at us, right? It's like, oh, she's 30 and alone and Quinn and Logan are getting married and like, now they got I'll go to the wedding. Predictable storyline. Makes sense. It's fine. I watched the trailer and I said this is a waste of my time. Yeah. I don't know. Look, I'll watch it. I will watch it. And I'll watch it
Starting point is 00:43:23 from the standpoint of this. I rode so hard for Zoe and Chase when the show was on TV. Like, nothing I wanted more watching that show was to see those two have their happy ending. And I'm guessing that that is where this would end. I would hope so. And I would like to see that play out. As far as like this trailer, Chase, fill the silence with what, you know? I'm not going to say anything about that. I just like, I truly watched it and I said,
Starting point is 00:44:03 what a waste of time. Like I, and you're right. Like there was a time where it was like, oh my God, there was a time we were begging for this to happen. Right. And now you're right. Like, too much has happened. You know, like, I see. Jamie Lynn Spears in just a different light. I'm sorry. Did you see Britney's caption the other day or like this week that she said she visited her sister on set?
Starting point is 00:44:24 Interesting. I know. Like just we just saw too much of their family dynamic. Yeah. Yeah. And now I see Jamie Lynn as Jamie Lynn and not as Zoe. And that's okay. But at the same time, I'm just like, you know what? Just let it go down as one of the greats. Yep. One of the great Nickelodeon shows. And then we can move on.
Starting point is 00:44:42 Right. I think there's too much of... There's been also other issues around the show, you know, other actresses having bad times. Yeah, yeah. And I think that they're just, we don't need to bring everything back. I saw Jennifer Aniston talking about if they were going to bring back friends,
Starting point is 00:45:01 if she would be open to doing that. She was like, no. You know what I mean? Like she was like, it's an easy answer. No. Like you just don't need to. They don't need to mess with perfection. They got paid a billion dollars
Starting point is 00:45:14 to do that reunion show. Right. It's like you just don't need to touch some certain things. And then I saw the Neds. Remember the Neds to classified cast? They got angry. They were like, why are we getting a reboot? Well, they pitched a show apparently.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Yeah, but like, we don't want that either. You know, but you know what? I'll fight for that cast because everybody else got is getting a reboot. Why not them? No, I know if everybody's going to get one. Yeah, if everybody's going to get one. They're all in the right. Just give them to everybody.
Starting point is 00:45:39 Or give them to nobody. It all or nothing in my mind. Yeah, like, I just, I'm like, I don't. those shows were so perfect to me and then it's like Yeah You always, I like the I like to imagine
Starting point is 00:45:51 What it would be like when they grew up You know, right? Create the story in my own head of the ending Rugrats all grown up I actually loved I fucking loved Rugrats all grown up I loved what about Rugrats in the wild But loved the scratch and sniff
Starting point is 00:46:04 In the movie theater did you do that? Yeah Awesome Rugrats all grown up First of all the scene where he's like In the woods And it's pouring rain And he's basically like gonna kill his
Starting point is 00:46:14 Did anyone else hear that? No. I swear to her to fart. You have headphones on, so... I would have said it. Okay, but when he's like basically going to give his brother away to the monkeys, remember? Yes. It's the saddest scene I've ever seen in anything.
Starting point is 00:46:30 Listen, Rugrats was phenomenal. Rugrats was my favorite show as like a very small child. I was obsessed with Angelica. I like... I know. I know. I was a little baby. You know?
Starting point is 00:46:41 Who am I? To decide what I like this little kid. I loved Rugrats In Paris I loved any big Rugrats And I loved Rugrats We were still young enough Yeah
Starting point is 00:46:53 To enjoy Rugrats all grown up What's the theme song for that? Could you do it? I can't like It's a tune Yeah Listen I'm off I couldn't even see Sing tears of a round
Starting point is 00:47:02 It's a jingle Yeah yeah Yeah there's I can't do it But yeah no It's a past for me And it's tough because it really It is
Starting point is 00:47:12 You're in this weird gray area of when they bring back these shows that we watched when we were 13, are you making it for people that are, and this is different, like Zoe 102 is a movie and clearly it's aimed more towards us. I think this is where like Hillary Duff
Starting point is 00:47:28 had the issues with Lizzie McGuire. It's like, are you making this show for the 30-year-olds who are going to watch this character now or are you trying to make a new show with the same character for 13-year-olds? Right. It's like too cheese.
Starting point is 00:47:44 for me, you know? Yes. Like you can't make the same show anymore. Oh, I'm cheese. Classic. I bumped into the pole. Right. You can't make the show the same way you did when we were all 13 and then you want the
Starting point is 00:47:56 audience to be 30 year olds. Oh my God. I'm wrapped up in the dresses and I fell like. Slapsic humor. Not going to get me anymore. I know. But I do love going back and watching those shows and laughing especially, you know, all those shows.
Starting point is 00:48:10 But moving on to the next trailer, Priscilla with Jacob. a lordy and oh my god this is so rude i'm blanking on her name and she is priscilla i know but she's an up and coming actress and i feel like an asshole is it len no that's a guy's name i think it's like car don't it could be anybody's name it's um her name is do do do do do Kaylee. I'm so upset with us that we didn't have that ready. Kaylee Spani. Spine. Spine. Spani. S-B-A-E-N-Y. Well, she's up and coming, and she's playing Priscilla, and Jacob Alorty is playing Elvis.
Starting point is 00:48:55 And the trailer is, you know, about the book Priscilla wrote. Elvis and me based off the book Elvis and Me. Yes. And it's Sophia Coppola. I audition for Sophia Coppola movie when I was a kid. Which one? El Fanning got it. Which one?
Starting point is 00:49:15 I got the name. It didn't pop off. Oh. It would have. It was filmed in like Italy if I got it. Honestly like hit or miss. I feel like Sophia Coppola obviously has the major recognition.
Starting point is 00:49:29 But there's a lot where you're kind of like, oh. Me and El Fanning were up for a lot of the same roles. Super 8. Like she had one's lost in translation. Marie Antoinette, great ones. But then, you know, since then... Oh, here it was. She did the bling ring.
Starting point is 00:49:44 It was called Somewhere. And I think it was France. Not really. I think about that.
