I went, ah. Cute. Wednesday. You know what? It feels so good that it's like almost. summer. Yeah. Like I step outside and I think that my biggest problem with winter and the cold months is wearing pants. Yeah. You know why. Yeah. Pants are hard for you. They're very hard for me. I can't find a single pair of pants that fit me all around. Just can't do it. That's how I am with shorts.

I don't really wear shorts. I just like shuddered at the thought. Like I don't think I've ever seen you wear shorts. That's not sure. I've wore shorts like yesterday. I wore shorts the last time I were Yeah, I did. Yeah. I don't know, but like gym shorts. Gym shorts. I've never seen you wear like actual shorts. No, no, I did for like when I was in.

I did for a while. You did? I do recall. Like above the knee too. Like not, I could never wear that now. Something about pants, they, the length just doesn't fit me ever. Every pair of pants I own, I realized in the past couple of weeks are just way too big on me.

And I'm getting made fun of it. My family, they're like, you're just dragging your pants. on the floor. And so what a relief that it is now to wear dresses, skirts, and shorts. I was trying to remember the name of the horse, the Kentucky Derby. We were in Seattle when the Kentucky Derby was going on. And I was looking at all the names of the horse. I was like, oh, Rhea, I got your horse for you. His name is Summer's tomorrow. Yes, that is my horse. That's literally Ria's motto is just, you know, if you really think close, summer's not, never that far away. We did reach a point, though, where it was like, I'm.

I mean, it was like December. But there were moments in December when you were like, it's really not that far. It's really not that far. And then January and February, kind of blocked it out. I was like, oh, summer is kind of far right now. But now it's around the corner. No, it's beautiful. Memorial Day weekends coming up.

Beautiful times. First of all, how are you doing? I'm well. That's beautiful. Yeah. Yeah. Haven't done anything. Haven't done anything too nuts.

Reveting. This week, honestly. I had some good. I didn't really talk about on Monday. but I had some good family time over the weekend, and that was nice. And one grandmother's 85th birthday, and then the next day I had a cousin's graduation and birthday. So, like, one night I was like with my entire dad side, one next day, entire mom's side. It's very nice to see everyone.

And yeah. Get that good family time in. Good, good family time, yeah. My parents are coming home from Florida tonight, and Norman is going to pee all over them. Pea everywhere. He's going to be so excited. be so excited. At this point, not to like make a golden shower joke here, but like, I think your dad would allow it. Like you just be like, pee on me. No, they don't care. I was like, wear like a wet suit

because it's going to be wet. Because I will wet, like, well, like, I'll get sprayed. I leave to go to work and come home and he pee something when I get home. Like he's the thing he does, but I've been trying to freak. He's going to freak out. I've been trying to not pet him immediately when I walk through the door because I realize that's kind of the problem. But last night, we were going to bed. And I was like, Norman. Yeah, you were starting to tell. Yeah, like, he was like, he was laying there with a smile on his face, but his eyes were closed. And I was like, you have no idea.

Does he know their names? Like, or like, is there something that you could say like that what he wouldn't know? Okay. So the problem is. Well, first his real mom. Yeah. So the problem is is that obviously I'm his mother. Yeah.

But my dad, I think I talked about this. Yeah. My dad will be like, oh, dad, he's coming home. And I'm like, dad, you can't call your. yourself dad or daddy to Norman. First of all, it's making me wildly uncomfortable. Number two, you're his grandpa, but also his father. So I think he's confused when he doesn't know, when he sees them, he obviously knows who they are. But I was like, you have no idea what tomorrow even brings for you. And he was just like laying there with a, he just like smiles in his sleep. He's so cute.

But I was just excited for him because I was like, he doesn't even know. He doesn't even know. He's forgotten about them or not forgotten about that. No, no. He thinks they left him. And that they're never coming back and so he's going to be really excited i'm excited too i miss my parents my dad does that with uh when we go visit and our two dogs we always get out of the car and they're so excited and my dad i see i told you i told you your sisters were coming i told you i said your sisters were coming that's what my mom does she's like no is coming yeah he's like i told them you know your sisters are coming it's really fun to just talk to them you know because they can't talk back and you're just like you know what they just appreciate your company it's a beautiful thing

i had uh two things that i wrote down to bring to the table today food related food related that i was thinking about on my drive in and i just want to get your takes on both of them okay one soon as tuna salad what do you guys thoughts on tuna salad i don't find out like i i am very middle ground on tuna salad I don't eat it a lot I don't go out of my way to have it If it presents itself in front of me I will have a bite But like it's one of those things that I can probably have

Like I can eat half a tuna salad sandwich More than that I can't do more than that But I love chicken salad. I'm trying to think of what tuna salad looks like Like because I know I like tuna Tuna But it's just tuna with like other stuff in it

Tuna lettuce mayonnaise Maybe celery I like it I like it I fucking I love tuna salad. You do love tuna salad on a plain bagel toasted. Pickle on the side, a little potato salad on the side.

I'm addicted to tuna salad. You like a tuna sandwich? Yes. Like I just love tuna, I realize. The second thing, not very riveting, but people are grossed out by tuna salad. So I want to ask that. No, no, I'm not grossed out by it. That's a very, like, potent smell.

Yeah, it does have a very distinct smell. Yeah. I have a tip for everybody. I love chicken salad. I got a little pro tip about chicken salad. Awesome. Big mayo gal. It's not even that.

It's, it's, have you ever had chicken salad with balsamic vinaigrette? Yeah, yeah. Like I've had chicken salad on a sandwich where that was the condiment of, that was designated by the restaurant. Pro tip, going forward, if you're listening to this. And you want a chicken salad wrap. Yeah.

Get a chicken salad wrap. Get it on a spinach wrap. I know that sounds gross, but get it on a spinach wrap. At the end of the day, You really can't taste the difference. You can't. In my opinion, when it comes to the wraps, plain wrap, whole wheat wraps, spinach wrap, sun-dried tomato wrap.

They all taste the same. If they're a vessel for a wrap, it just tastes like a wrap. Raps are just practical. Like, all it is is just containing this. Yes. So it doesn't really matter, but get the spinach wrap. Get chicken salad. Get carrots and red onion.

And then get balsamic vinegar out on the side. And either drizzle it on or dip it in there. Oh my God, you have yourself an amazing lunch. Was that a sandwich that you created yourself or someone, I was going to say a dozen. Three natives in Florida. Yep. I was going to say that. Makes that sandwich.

And every time I'm in Florida, I get it. And I've been trying to recreate it at different sandwich places. I finally recreated the best one with a deli near my house. And my God. When we were in Seattle and walking through Pike Place, there was a vendor that was selling some olive oils and you could. dip them and try them. And balsamic. Yeah.

I bought three. You bought some? I ordered them online. The tie sesame one? I got the Thai sesame ginger. That sounds like you would literally kill me on the spot. I got the garlic basil garlic parmesan oil. And then I got one balsamic.

Okay, send me it again because I need the glaze. Yeah. I'm such a balsamic lore. If anyone's curious about it, I think they're just called OMG olive oils. We tried, they were in Pike Place. Yeah. We dipped up. And I wanted to buy it on the spot, but I was like, I have.

no room in my suitcase to bring this home like a big glass bottle of olive oils. I'm just going to have to order this online. We can't be smuggling oil and vinegar. No. No. No. Back to New York. But I am excited for when that comes. I'm really excited too. Now I'm just hungry. I think that these thoughts came into my head this morning. I was driving to work because I was really hungry. Yeah. And I was thinking about what I wanted for lunch. And what I keep eating every other day is either tuna salad or chicken salad. And I feel like tuna salad gets a negative connotation. Also, I mean, also riveting conversation. Yes, a new bagel place did open up across the street. It's been a big hot topic in the office. Yeah, everyone's going to the bagel pub to get. Right. It's like an episode of a TV show.

Yeah, like, everyone's like, oh, what sandwich do you get? Oh, ooh, went a little sweet today. Yeah, Keeks told me, she was like, I got this amazing chicken salad sandwich. And I was like, oh, my God, I got to get there. Yeah, she got chicken salad. Gia got, like, turkey on the bagel. Holy shit. I'm starving.

cinnamon raisin with strawberry cream cheese and we, like he's announced it and we all went ooh sweet today Everybody is really just going all in on the bagel with some kind of either like salad or like a sandwich What's your go-to bagel?

Just a smear My go-to bagel Everything bagel, scalyne cream cheese That's exactly what I'm on this Oh my God! This is a beautiful moment Oh, sometimes I get locks Sometimes I do too I mean, not to bring up the whole drama in Seattle,

but that's what I had before I threw it out. Oh. It was exactly that. Everything bagel. It did look out of cheese, locks. I have a couple different ones. It depends on the mood. It depends on the mood.

Tuna salad bagel order is so different than a regular meal order. I get a bacon, egg, and cheese with hash browns on a roll. Always. But here's the thing. I really have never had a great bacon egg and cheese in the city. Really? Really? Mm-hmm.

Maybe because the one... Honestly, the ones from my hometown are way better than anything. Yeah. Same. The ones from New Jersey. Maybe everyone just feels that way about their hometown. But big egg and cheese with hash browns on a roll. Cinnamon, raisin bagel, toasted with butter.

That one always hits with a little chocolate milk. Yeah. Yeah. Or an everything bagel toasted with vegetable cream cheese. Yeah. That's Joe's. With a peach napple or a regular snaple. Yeah, the, it's, you do mention that.

So many people are ordering bagels after this podcast. I do think the bacon, egg and cheese in New York City is, I have found that most places I order a bacon egg and cheese from, they, the bacon is always undercooked. Yeah. Always. Like, I know that they're trying to, they have a lot of orders on a, you know, Saturday, Sunday morning in the city. So I think they're just trying to go quick, quick, quick. And a lot of times bacon is not cooked. I have never met one.

In my opinion, that met my standards. You guys have I said towel bagels? Yes. I thought their bacon, egg and cheese is pretty good. Brooklyn Bagel has a pretty decent bacon egg and cheese as well, I would say. Case for all those listeners in New York who want to change up. Okay, I'll give a shout out to Sequel on Long Island. Yeah.

That's my deli. Yeah. And let me tell you. There's a place across the street from where I live. It's called Pick a Bagel. Just everything is a bagel, but they have sandwiches and everything, which is a lot of bagels. In the city. Yeah.

There's a bunch of pick of bagels. Oh, yeah. I know it's a chain. I know it's a chain. Also pretty good. Some good bagel talk. Some good. It didn't remind me that.

I used to change it up every once in a while. The bussen. Wilcompton is here. The buss in the office. And I laughed. Wilcomton is in the office. And I laughed because he had tweeted like this morning like, wow, these bagels in New York. My God.

They really are good. Like they really are good. The thing is in the city, I don't think that they're that good. I think I've had better ones on Long Island and in Jersey. Yeah, no, I totally agree. Like, I just, the city ones don't end? Just made with a little more love and care outside the city. Sue me, the city pizza?

Oh, well, that gets out of, I disagree with that. Yeah, there are some very good places to have a slice of pizza. Yeah, I don't know. I'm feeling controversial. I don't know. Just want to throw it out there. Feeling crazy. I'm feeling crazy.

I just wanted to test the water to see how you guys felt about the pizza. I, what did I? Oh, this is a total side note. We can move on from food, but my mom. surprise. Your mommy. My mommy surprised me and my sister with tickets to Harry Styles when I don't like. I found it really rude that she didn't get me one. Yeah. Well, I thought she had won them because I saw she posted that. Two ticket limit is like that's what they're. I know if there was three I would have

gotten one. Oh yes. 100%. How did she she just got lucky? She knows a guy. She knows a guy. It's fucked up. You need a connection. Yeah, she knows a guy. God. Now I'm going to be the idiot watching on Apple music on Friday, the concert. You're like, there's friend, there's Gia. I'm alone. Is it just G.A? or what is it? No, see, I don't. I mean, knock on wood, like, that we really do have these tickets, because God forbid something, we're going to happen.

Remember when we went? Oh, God. We literally almost lost our lives. We have a seat, I believe. Oh, okay. I don't know what the floor situation is like. I'm assuming there is part of it. That is GA. I'm not a part of that. You're going to listen to. I don't think I would, honestly do that again after no

LA like that I would I would I love like that was amazing because we were so close but I don't know if I can like go through the anxiety of being in that crowd again like just put me put me to see we're a couple years older now yeah can't handle it oh my god

he's so much bigger now like like he was big now it's even crazy yeah now it's it is totally crazier I'm trying to knock at my hopes high for this album because we talked about this how I get my hopes really high for things. I've been reading a lot of reviews.

I haven't even read reviews because I'm really just, I need to go into it how I went into Fine Line, which was not knowing anything about Harry Styles, just not knowing anything at all and just listening to it and falling in love with it. And I need to do the same thing for this album because I know I'm going to compare it to fine line. I know it's going to be so different.

And I just want to go into it with an open mind. Fran, are you going to listen to the whole album before the concert? 100%. I was going to say it could kind of be. cool if you just went and heard all the songs for the first time live. Well, that's how we did fine line. No, I thought we listened to it in the car when we landed.

We definitely listened when we got to L.A. I mean, we listened in the car. I didn't, I don't think I paid attention that much. I think I feel like we were all like, we're listening to the album. No, we definitely did. I think we were playing it on like a loop. Yeah, yeah. I feel like we played it all day long.

Yeah, I think we played it literally endlessly. Maybe we did then. I'm pretty sure the entire day. Maybe that did help then. Yeah. Well, I'm really excited. I remember like knowing. I won't be there, but I'm excited.

I remember seeing some, like I remember knowing some of the words and then Harry like said to the crowd like he was surprised about what people knew. Are you expecting him to bring someone out like he brought Stevie Nix out? Bring out Shania. I mean, I'm, I don't think it's a given. Yeah, Billy Joel. I think it's a possibility. Imagine Billy Joel. That would be awesome.

That would be nuts. I mean, that would be crazy. You never know with him. It could be literally anyone. John Mayer. I would love to. John Mayer is on the, John Mayer is playing the guitar on one of the songs. Okay, because...

I really have a problem with getting my expectations really high about that. You do. I was worried about it too. I've already been pre-waring about you not liking this album. I know. I'm already worried about it. Yeah, exactly. I'm trying not to think about it.

Because I just, and like not that you like Taylor Swift at this level at all, but it just reminds me of how like you love 1989 so much. literally refused to listen to other Taylor Swift albums. That I'm like, God, is she just going to like listen to this album and then be like, nope, just going to listen to Fine Line again. Yeah. No, I actually really liked Love Her. Yeah, you did like Love Her.

Folklore is great. I don't think. It wasn't my kind of music. I listened to folklore, but. Right. Open mind. Open mind. And yes, I do fall into those traps.

People are saying it's a different sound. Like, you know how long it took me to listen to Harry Styles for? first album. After I loved Fine Line. It's an awesome album. It really is. I love that album too. But it took me a while to listen to that album because of how much I loved Finlay. Are you going to listen at midnight? Like the second I hit. That's what I do. It depends on what kind of state of mind I'm in. Like, I need to listen to this album in the best state of mind possible. When there's an album, like I did this with Kendrick Lamar last week. The whole day I'm just like the second

midnight. Yeah. And then you just relisten to it over and over again. I haven't listened to it I'm also big on like I'll listen to something and then I won't like it at first but then a couple weeks later or even months later I'll go back and listen and I'm like oh I really like this song I can't believe I missed it the first time around definitely everybody's taste

changes and involves if John Mayer comes out at the show you're going to I'm going to be so I'm going to have so much phone mo oh my god I think I was in New York I'm going to be muting your stories fair fair well let's see I mean John's on tour no no he's over I think.

And I think what we saw over and over and over, again was number one Kylie Jenner and Travis Godd Stormy. Very very cute pictures. They looked great. Doja Cat won a ton of awards and Cara Delavine continued to be a freak throughout the entire night.

Yeah, we were recording Monday's episode while this was actually on TV and then Monday morning came around and all the clips were being re-shared and it was like, oh my God, what was happening? At first, Kara was, they're on the right carpet she's hiding behind the like step and repeat poking her head out taking pictures she's helping

Meg with her dress and sitting next her and whispering and like really just kind of seeming to go a little above and beyond what a friend should be doing I had I don't even know how close they are if they even know each other I'm assuming they've met at events before because the way she was acting it's like obviously she seems to be a fan but it did seem like they had some kind of pre-existing relationship. She looked annoying as hell. She really did. Like, she just looked like a total nuisance to everybody.

And you could tell that Meg was trying to be nice. But she just looked like she was getting in everybody's business at all times. Something's going on with her. It's been the last, like, the last month or so of all these events she's gone to. It's been like... It's very strange. There was some red carpet photos and videos where, you know, she was picking Meg's dress up and trying to get her to get the shot, which, you know, you see that. And you're like,

okay, she's just helping her get a cool shot. And then you see every other picture and video after that. And you're like, she wouldn't leave her the hell alone. And, you know, there's a, there's a line between being like a good friend and, and whatever it was that Kara thought she was being and then just becoming annoying. Like, I'm sure at one point, Meg thought it was nice and funny until it was like, I have to deal with this person the entire night. Like it was, she was in everybody's face and making faces. One might describe her as a nuisance. Yeah, I said that earlier.

Yeah, I said being a nuisance. Yeah. I think that's the perfect word for what was happening. Because then she was even like, she took a picture of Doja Cat and I want to say like, uh, maybe DJ Callan. Maybe, uh, what's the guy that's always with. Jay-Lo. Also from...
