Hey, Chicks in the Office listeners.

What's up, everyone?
It's Chicks in the Office giving you that Friday energy on a Wednesday with our Bachelor recap this week.
We unfortunately don't have Ria with us, but we have Trent.
We have Kelly Keeggs.
We are going to get into every single detail about.
Wednesday's,
Wednesday, today's Wednesday, about Monday's
episode. I'm really
more interested like Kelly, love you
but I feel like I know your opinions.
I'm ready to hear from you, Trent,
because look, we tried to do cutting stems
virtually. I feel like you didn't get, I feel like you didn't get to
fully give off all of your takes because
your sound started to cut in and out.
It's so true. No, I'm excited
to be here. I've got my
book again, if the audio starts to cut out, I can resort to that. But I'm particularly excited.
This is a bit of a recap reunion for me and Kelly. Once upon a time, we had a show called
Coming Up Roses, where we would recap The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. So it feels good. I feel comfortable.
I always feel comfortable on this show, but I feel extra comfortable today because we have
recapped endless episodes of this program together. So I'm very excited. I'm also very excited, Trent.
I love any time that we get to do a lot because it's like it's just a little nostalgia for me too because of that.
It's just it's so funny.
And like you always for so long have known what the fuck you're talking about.
And you're one of the only like guys that I know that can really kind of, I don't know, hold their own with this.
So it's fun to do to jump on and be able to do it.
And it's super funny.
You know, Ria will be back.
But it is very exciting for Kelly.
You know, she's now Trent, our full time.
She is just our our colleague, full time.
Yes, I am.
How weird.
How weird is that?
Incredibly well deserved.
Thank you so much.
Trent, what were you doing?
I'm excited.
But you were just kind of like going like this.
Like you had like a couple shake weights in your hands.
That's never a great visual.
Yeah.
Never like, like yes.
No, no, no.
I'm just excited.
We are very excited as well.
We're going to be doing some fun stuff together.
love getting to do all the bachelor stuff with you guys.
This was a exciting episode because there's a lot that went down.
There was a lot of details, a lot of drama.
I also feel like there's a lot of drama off camera because now everyone's trying to do like
Sarah sleuthing.
It's like, why was she there?
Was she really there?
What were those pictures of G-Easy?
It's like there's so many questions now, I think from people that are watching that
not even just from the episode, but now just.
afterwards. And let's just start from the beginning. We'll start from the rose ceremony,
which honestly feels like it wasn't even part of this episode. Like the rose ceremony happened right at
the beginning. And that, see, this is where I get annoyed because I'm like, why? Because now we're
now we're delayed. Like it's, I hate when we don't get a rose ceremony at the end of the episode.
Like that rose ceremony could have just been at the end of last week. It was so, like Sarah was
And it's exactly what we said.
We said, you know, Sarah, she fainted, but I'm sure she's okay.
And we'll get right into the rose ceremony.
And that's exactly what happens.
Well, the reason they planted the seeds of Sarah potentially not being trustworthy.
Because every time they would show Sarah, you know, fainting or needing help or being let outside by Matt,
obviously Victoria would then lead the charge and be like, I don't know how real that was.
And now I feel like she's stealing time from the rest of us.
And to that, I would say, fair game.
If you are going to faint, whether it's fake or not, just do it because you can just get more time with Matt.
I don't think it was fake necessarily.
Obviously, Victoria has all sorts of conspiracy theories about every girl in the house, it seems.
I think the fainting thing was real with Sarah, but it gave Victoria and the show an opportunity to be like, is Sarah all that she sees?
Yeah, definitely.
I think I feel the same way about that.
But I also think that with Sarah fainting and all of those things happening to her,
and it's seeming like it's all about her,
I think that that can either be taken as like, I don't know,
like, I just lost my chain of thought.
Hold on.
We'll give you about three seconds and then we're moving on.
It can either be, it's either like, fuck, hold on, hold on.
It's almost as if Victoria is like setting the narrative for the rest of the time.
Like she's planting these seeds ahead of time when really there weren't any seeds to be planted.
She just probably fainted, and it's not that they give a deal.
And like you said, Fran, they could have just cut it out or had us finish it at the end of that episode, move on, whatever.
But because we had that to be continued, we all had a week to think about it and just listen to ourselves and listen to Victoria telling us that Sarah may be a villain in the future.
Yeah.
And it does really seem like it just really seems like Victoria has her little book.
She's got her names written down and she's like crossing them off like one by one.
as she's plucking them off the show because, you know, Marilyn did get sent home.
Victoria got the last rose.
And it's unfortunate.
I think I'm going to, I'm going to kind of miss Marilyn's little whisper voice.
Like, she's like, I just really hope that Matt, like, is able to tell how these girls really are.
Like, I don't, I actually never met anyone in real life who talks like that.
But I guess she does.
Like, you know, where it's a whisper speak.
She always, she too always looks like pained.
Like she just, she's like a little like, oh my goodness.
In the moment, she was probably super pains.
Definitely.
But even her resting face is just kind of like, hmm,
like it's always like hesitant.
And her voice kind of matches that.
She really didn't have a ton of backup when it seemed like
it was a situation ripe for backup.
Everybody we thought in the house dislike Victoria,
that narrative changed a little bit as the episode went along.
But you would have thought at the time when Marilyn got sent home
that people would have stepped up and been like, Matt,
she's not the problem.
It's Victoria, which was strange.
I think Marilyn will probably get a chance,
at least I hope that she shows up on Paradise at some point.
Yeah.
She deserves it because she got absolutely just chewed alive by Victoria.
Like there was no, I feel like she probably would have gotten to stay
if it wasn't for Victoria picking her as her, you know,
first contestant she was going to send home basically.
basically because Victoria, yeah, Victoria knows in her mind, I think, or I don't know. I don't know.
I think Victoria in her mind knows that she's safe for a couple weeks because she is,
she's doing the antics, she's being crazy, she is creating drama.
And I think when you're in that role, you're a little bit aware of like, hey, this might
keep me here for a couple weeks or, you know, especially with if you're, I don't know,
It just seems blatantly obvious to me that Matt is like not that into it.
But. Yeah.
She does not seem that concerned about not being, not having Matt be that into her.
Because as soon as Farrellon went home, she didn't, she wasn't like, all right, now I can
finally focus on that.
No, she was like.
She was like, Sarah.
Like, it's, it's just so crazy.
Yeah.
She does that.
And she also, like, she immediately started trying to buddy, buddy up with the girls again.
Like, I thought, I keep seeing and I saw a couple tweets like this.
I'm pretty sure, like, Kit and Victoria are now friends.
I think we were wrong.
I think they're like holding hands and shit.
Yeah.
I think we're crazy.
I think the editor who put together the season trailer got us once again because we thought
all those lines were possibly between Kit and Victoria.
But it seems like at least like, you know, the, you know, your life's going to be horrible.
It just seemed like there was some drama going on between what is, hold on, sorry.
Something is playing in my headphones.
Oh.
Whoa.
Oh, my God.
That was terrifying.
You all right?
I had an article, an article up and it had been fine, but an ad just started playing within the article.
And it was like, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, it's just like.
Oh, my God.
I just make sure I'm closed out for that same reason.
Oh, my God.
That's just kind of scared me.
I'm not going to lie.
Oh, man.
Okay.
No, I was saying that I do think that they might have said.
it up where it seemed like Victoria and Kit weren't going to get along, but in reality, they
seemed like best buds. They were very much going for Sarah towards the end of the episode.
We'll get into it. But it just did seem like that Kit Victoria might be enemies narrative,
just like never happened. Or it's still early on. It's only the third week. So you never know.
it does seem like we're going to get a shit ton of more drama because there are more girls coming.
But they flew through this row ceremony so fast where it ended.
And I was like, wait, who else went home?
Like I didn't even, I didn't even really see.
I had to, I had to look at the recaps afterwards and be like, oh, God, because I was looking and I was like, oh, I remember her.
Don't remember her.
Don't remember her.
Don't remember her.
So Maryland went home, Alana went home, Sydney went home, Kristen went home, and Ileana went home.
Pretty much don't know any of those people.
I'm over four on those.
I'm over four.
Kristen, Kristen was the only one.
Oh, Kristen.
I actually really like that story went viral about her helping her friend.
That tweet like went viral.
She's a lawyer.
She seemed very, very cool.
Kristen seems very cool.
Maybe she'll get a chance at Paradise.
but man like i rhea and i talked about it on monday's episode the pool for bachelord paradise is so huge
that i hope some of these girls do get a chance who people liked but didn't really get any
uh screen time i was doing math in my head before uh which is always a disaster uh trend because i was
thinking back to the last time that we did a pod and it was to preview the girls you came to
my house and it was to preview the girls for Colton's season. And I thought to myself, I was like,
Colton's season doesn't even seem that long ago, but I lived in that apartment like a while
ago. We've only had, it was like Colton, Hannah, Peter, and then no Bachelor in Paradise since then.
Yeah. Not true. Am I wrong? No, and I do remember that preview. But it's going to be, the more I think
about it, like I would love Maryland to get a chance or Kristen. But I mean, there's going to be,
quote, unquote. We got one in between. We got one after.
Oh, between...
We got one after Hannah.
Right, okay.
So since Peter then, I guess.
Because Dylan and Hannah G. and all them, those were all...
That's the last Paradise cast we had.
But we still had people from...
So it starts with Peter.
Yeah.
It starts with Peter season.
Still, it's going to be tough for...
Like, I don't know if Maryland got enough.
I don't know if Kristen got enough
for them to get into the sphere of, like,
who could potentially be on that Bachelor in Paradise season.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's going to be...
They're really going to be fighting for their spots.
let me tell you.
Pulling, pulling their connections, talking to any people's like texting any producers
they know like, hey, don't, don't forget about me.
Like, we'd love to go paradise.
So it'll definitely, definitely get competitive.
Okay.
We're going to get into the first group date.
It was absolutely unbelievable.
Before we do that, guys, I just, I hope that, I hope that maybe some contestants on this show,
listen to these recaps.
And that might be wishful thinking,
but maybe they do tune in.
And if they do,
I got something that I feel like
every girl out there should have,
especially girls that are just coming off a TV show
where everybody's talking about them.
They got a lot of attention on themselves.
They want to make sure they can protect themselves.
I know that, you know,
if I'm walking on the street,
I think Kelly can agree with me,
you're in New York City.
You want to make sure that you are safe.
You don't want anybody coming up behind you,
especially if you're,
alone. Walking alone can be very dangerous. You hear the horror stories. You want to protect
yourself. We have a product is the taser strike light. It's fantastic. It's a rechargeable,
high-powered flashlight that also can repel attackers through its electric stun feature. So it
combines a flashlight and a stun gun together. So not only can you absolutely like create a massive
amount of light that people can see or that possibly could potentially scare the person off anyway,
it has the stun gun feature as well. The flashlight feature in this, I think is a genius idea
because you see someone coming or see someone, a flashlight will scare someone. It's a bright light.
They don't want maybe, you know, they don't want their faces seen if they're trying to hurt you
or, you know, steal from you, whatever it is. So it's a great product. Taser has made.
I highly, highly recommend carrying one to protect yourself. You can go to Taser.com and use
promulco barstool for 15% off. And just as a reminder, guys, a little limited number of states
require a permit for use. So Taser products cannot be purchased for personal use in Hawaii or
Rhode Island. But other than that, you are good to go. So go to Taser.com and check those out.
All right. The first group date was honestly one of the best group dates this show has seen in a while,
I think because we've been complaining, guys.
We've been complaining.
We didn't like the dates at La Quinta.
We didn't like the wedding date.
But now this is what we're talking about.
It was the perfect amount of uncomfortable, funny, putting people on the spot.
Ashley I got to show up.
And they introduced it a great way.
They brought these women into a dark room.
And they could just hear Ashley I's voice reading, you know,
what seemed like something out of 50,
shades gray. So it worked out well. Ashley's tweets and stuff for cracking me up. She's like,
how long do I have to hibernate before I can like show my face again after doing this,
after doing this date? She did a great job. And these girls basically had to write their own erotica
and read it out loud in front of mats. And all inspired by the perfect letter by Chris Harrison.
A round of applause for the perfect letter.
I can't wait to read it.
I can't believe I haven't read it.
Honestly, I'm embarrassed.
I haven't read it.
I am too.
I just didn't even know it existed.
I had...
I knew it existed.
I did know it existed.
I will say Chris Harrison tweeted,
I saw it before we came on.
It is now a number one bestseller on Amazon.
I tell you guys,
he broke Amazon.
I tried to buy the book and it was...
Amazon was frozen.
It wouldn't let me add it to the cart.
And it said, like, only a few left in stock.
Like, get it soon.
And I physically could not add it into my cart.
You know, I always thought that, and I knew it was a romance novel that Chris Harrison wrote,
but I kind of thought it was more in the Nicholas Sparks category, which is fine.
I love Nicholas Sparks novels.
But they're not as, I mean, they're romantic as hell, but they're not as sexy.
Like, it's not like, oh, like he, you know, I felt his bulge against my, you know,
it's like, it's not like, it was not as graphic.
So when they were like, Chris Harrison has stepped in the ring, like the perfect letter.
It's got some sexy, sexy scenes.
I was like, whoa, I did not know that Chris Harrison was doing that.
When I heard that they were going to talk about this.
And also when I heard that he, like, wrote this book, for some reason in my head,
I thought that he had written it, like, after his divorce or something.
And so it was like a sad love story.
Like, that's the image of it I had in my head.
And I always meant to go read it.
But I also was like, oh, you know, whatever.
Like, it's a regular love story, like you said.
But nope, we were wrong.
It is the perfect.
vehicle. Like sometimes you might feel like it's a little contrived where it's like, hey, Chris Harrison's
got this book. We're trying to sell it. But this was the perfect vehicle for this date. And I agree.
This was one of the best group dates we've seen in a while. It was just uncomfortable enough. There were
girls were getting bleeped out like crazy. I mean, they had Matt do it first. He was talking about
chocolate cake, which was A plus. I just, I agree, Fran. We've been pretty down on most of the dates this last
season and a half. And I just want to give them props. This was a great date.
And I do love, like, you know, producers are great with pairing up people to, you know, like Ashley I for this date is fantastic because I think Ashley is a very funny person when she's uncomfortable.
She's talked about that. Like I think, you know, Ben Higgins who she does their podcast together.
Like I think Ben and tweeted too, like, I love seeing like awkward Ashley. It's so funny. So it was hilarious to see her reactions when you're hearing Victoria read some of hers before.
before she gets on stage and it's just like, bleep,
and then I bleep bleep, and then he bleep, bleep,
and she's like, whoa, okay.
Crazy.
The difference is she was trying to be romantic
and she's written poetry and it was very elegant and nice
and then they cut to Victoria and she's writing a porno.
She was just writing a full on hardcore porn
and it was just amazing.
Yeah, Kit was like talking about the wind blowing
through the Pennsylvania trees and Victoria is,
whatever Victoria was saying, it was like, I want him to bleep, my bleep, bleep, bleep, bleat.
Kelly and I were talking before, and we were saying that they should somehow release the unedited versions of those.
Because I would be very interested to hear them.
I don't know if Kelly had a good idea where just give it to the girls who wrote it, give that video footage to them,
and allow them to put it out on their social medias.
Because I don't think it is all that into putting out that type of stuff.
But I would like to hear, I'd like to hear Katie's, I'd like to hear Victoria's.
anyone where it was mostly bleeps, I would-
Right, Trent, okay, yo, okay, see you guys.
Yeah, Trent.
You want to hear the sexy parts.
Come on dying for some sense.
You can tell me that you guys don't want to hear those too.
Of course I want to hear it.
I absolutely want to hear it because not only did it,
like not only was it so many bleeps,
but the reaction from the girls
and the reaction from the crowd, you know,
the other girls who weren't even invited on the date
were all in the back watching this happen as well.
and, you know, I think we expected good things from Katie.
I think Katie felt a lot of pressure because she was like,
God, I mean, I'm the vibrator girl.
Like, I'm sex positivity.
Like, let's go.
Like, I got to write something good.
It seems like she did do a good job.
Now, Kelly, I do believe you potentially have something to share with us
because I will say, I tweeted, I tweeted I would have to quit the show
if I was asked on this date.
Like I would be like, I'd have to go up to him and be like, look, I really like you.
You are one hot fella, but, but I just can't do this.
Like I will, like my face will turn so red.
I'll never be able to show myself in public again.
Like, it's just, I was getting red on my couch watching it.
I was like, oh, my God.
Like, cluster.
But it's funny because I'm one of those people who also, but loves reading these.
like these sexy, not, like, I don't even know what they're called.
Erotica is that really what it's called?
Erotica is, like, erotica is that it's what it's been, like, called.
But really, it's just, like, sexy novels, yeah.
Oh, man, basically.
Look, my mom and my boyfriend have made fun to me all the time because they'll be like,
what are you reading?
And I tell them the title and they're like, is that one of those again?
And I'm like, yep, sure is.
If anybody's read Colleen Hoover out there, she's great to highly recommend.
I've read a lot of her stuff.
I'm Colleen Hoover.
Oh, you, if you, uh, you should see my Kindle.
You should see my Kindle.
I said I have a Colleen Hoover book like right on my, right on my coffee table right now.
Oh my God.
We'll discuss that later.
We will discuss that later.
I'm familiar with those books, but I can recall my best friend's mom would have these books laying around.
And the covers would just be like a chiseled guy, like hopefully, a small woman.
And you look back and you're like, boy, I might have some on my,
I booksheled back here to be completely honest.
You definitely do. You definitely do.
But no, Fran, thank you for bringing
your attention to me. I was actually wondering
if you were going to allow it to happen.
Oh, no, I was going to give you the opening.
Just because I know that it makes you uncomfortable.
However, two things.
One, I want it on record. I don't think I made it. I loved
this date solely for the purpose of it being
like so sex positive. I thought it was just like
ABC has come so far
as far as like being chill about things
like that. They had a vibrator and this
like erotica sex reading going on.
This is amazing. It's very funny. I think it's wild.
It's such a family network and whatever.
I think it's cool.
Secondly is I have a surprise.
I have written my own submission.
My own short.
If Kelly Kiggs was on the group date.
If I were on this group date, this is what I would read to Matt, me to Matt.
I was going to say, okay.
I was going to say this is written to Matt, like you are reading this in front of Matt James.
I am me and this and you are Matt.
And I'm describing a scene that has happened already, actually, that's happened,
but I am inserting myself into the scene.
Okay.
Okay.
I really would love for you to, for us to find a way for you to read this in front of Matt James in real life,
which I think maybe someday we'll be able to figure out.
I would love to.
But, okay, Kelly, the floor is yours.
This is a reading from Kelly Keeks.
Okay.
The title is anticipation.
I stand before you, a warm flush rising in my chest, blushing my cheeks.
blending in with my backless, shapely red gown.
I noticed the tiny beads of sweat on the small of my back
as I look up at you, expectantly.
You stand before me, flawless and a perfectly tailored suit.
You exude the guy.
Fran.
I'm so red already.
You haven't even gotten to the juicy stuff.
I'm already so red.
I heard Fran go, hmm.
Well, I was picturing Matt in his perfectly tailored suit.
I assume you're giving me the visual.
Okay.
Oh, wow, that made me laugh.
Okay.
You exude the kind of power that makes a woman fall to her knees at the side of you,
and one woman just did.
But not me.
The tension in the air feels like the evening haze after a rainstorm.
Your face is the only clear image swirling around the mist in my mind.
Kelly, you beckon, confident and kind.
This is it.
As I inhale before taking my first step towards you,
I can feel my heart beating slow and hard.
It's beating echoes just.
the surface of my skin, every pulse sending a new wave of water onto my sandy shores. With each step,
the electricity I feel from you ripples up through the floor, ending inside me. As I get closer,
I'm certain we're about to catch fire. You take me in your arms. Your fingers trace my bare spine
as I draw closer into you. Your hands slowly drift towards mine and you grasp them gently before
bringing them to your soft, supple lips. You lightly kiss my fingertips. Will you accept this road?
the rest of the girls look on heartbroken knowing that my gorilla grip pussy and I have won
the bachelor.
Oh my God.
Well done.
Well done.
Well done.
First of all, phenomenal writing.
Maybe you have another career path ahead of you.
Yeah, how about it?
That didn't even take me that long.
I was having, I was laughing out.
You know what, Kelly?
I think there might be an opening in the market for like Bachelor inspired fan fan.
Yes. This is my official submission, I think.
I think it is.
We'll see you come out of the woodwork now.
Look, people, you know, there are some people in their steamy fan fiction.
They've gotten that shit made into movies.
You know, Kelly, we talked to.
I say, we certainly know this.
The two of us stayed up for like four hours texting about the after movies like a couple
weeks ago because you were like, whoa.
So look, they're too much.
It's possible.
You did a great job, Kelly.
How did you feel, Frank?
Did you feel okay?
I felt okay.
It was not, I, I thought maybe you were going to get a little steamier and you didn't.
Like, we didn't really go below the belt.
No, I saved it.
I don't even think I used any curse words.
I tried to keep it here.
I was like, I got to keep this pure.
This is The Bachelor.
Let's be pure about it.
No, that was like, it was, it felt classy.
It felt classy.
Thank you.
Yep.
Thank you.
It did.
It did.
Trent, what did you think?
I thought it was great.
I really, you know, I started to have to fan myself off a little bit there.
You know, that's what you're looking.
Had Trent had to take his beanie off.
Now, I'm getting it.
Yeah.
I think that would have played really well on the date last night.
Thank you, Trent.
Thank you, Trent.
I very much appreciate that.
Agreed.
All right, Kelly, you did an amazing job.
Honestly, I think that would have gotten you a rose.
These girls, they also did, they all, everyone did a great job, I thought.
And the one person who was stewing in the back was Sarah.
Clearly, the whole date made her feel uncomfortable.
They went to the night date.
This is, by the way, before we move on from the day.
Yes.
Yes.
This was the day where things were a little fishy with Victoria and the rest of the group,
where leading up to this point, it seemed like it was Victoria versus the entire house
and she was trying to send as many girls home as she could.
But then during that day and during her portion of the reading,
the place was going crazy.
They were laughing.
They were laughing.
Yep.
And it just seemed a little inconsistent with how we thought the rest of the house felt
about her. So that along with the part of the beginning was Sarah fainting, it really felt like there
was a turn in the house where the girls started to be more on Victoria's side and maybe they have
been more on her side than we've been led to believe. It's very confusing. These girls, I think,
are some of the most dramatic girls we've seen on this show because I just can't tell what some of the
motives are. It's like, yes, maybe Victoria was just very funny and they couldn't help it and they
had to laugh because she did a great job because I'm like,
you support her there, but nobody can tell her to wear a different bra.
Nobody. Like how? Like, because there's still some things where it's like, I don't know,
are these, these girls, unless, unless they said to Victoria like, hey, is that really
the bra you want to wear? And she said, yeah, it sure is. Do you think that,
that maybe these girls are just kind of like on her side now because Matt kept her and like got
rid of Maryland. Like I feel like maybe they're just blindly trusting Matt. Like, well, if he did that,
then there must have been, look, I thought that too. I thought that too were maybe they all just
watched Victoria pluck Maryland off the show so quickly that they're like, shit, we better
stay on her good side, like or else we could be next. So that's very possible too.
At the night portion of the date, Katie is speaking with Matt. Sound like she felt like they were having
a good conversation. They were connecting. And Sarah shows up. You know, we see the whole walk
up. I got to talk to him. I'm nervous. I just got to get some feelings off my chest. I feel like I might
leave, like whatever, all these worries that she's been having, which of course are very valid.
I think a lot of contestants who get an early one-on-one date have a hard time dealing with like
sitting back for multiple weeks because you got to wait another, you got to. You got to
to wait a pretty long time before you get that kind of one-on-one time again with him.
So that clearly got to Sarah pretty quickly.
And she went and showed up at the group date, interrupted Katie to speak with him.
Katie went back to the girls, told the girls what had happened.
Thankfully, the girls all did kind of encourage Katie to, like, go back there and get her time.
And it was funny.
Like Katie came back and just, she was like, all right, I'm taking it back.
And Sarah was like, I think, waiting for Matt to be like, oh, give us a couple more minutes.
and he didn't.
So she's still sitting there.
And then Katie just sat down next to them and was like, oh, wait, like, okay.
So, you know, she ended up getting up and she's like, oh, Matt, can you walk me out and leaving?
But look, this is, I can't imagine Sarah thought that this would go over well.
She strikes me as someone who has at least seen some of this show before, where she would maybe kind of get how this works.
and you just, I know we always say there are no rules,
and yes, there are no rules
because she did have the ability to go do this,
but you have to expect the consequences.
You have to know that those are coming.
You got to know that the girls are going to want to rip your head off.
Right.
There are no rules in the show, and that's true,
but that doesn't stop the group of people
or the group of women who have come together on the show.
If you go against the grain, they're going to be mad at you.
Like, that's just the thing that it is.
You're right. Sarah clearly has probably seen this show, but she still thought, I'm going to go up there and talk to Matt because we're still at a time where people will come on this show and they end up getting jealous that the Bachelor is dating other people. It's for people, it's always funny to see the people who have just recently started watching the show react to those people because we've all seen them a million times over, but it never fails that there's usually at least one person who is jealous that the Bachelor is on a dating show. And it's just,
just really the gift on giving. But you're right. Sarah just has to know that, yeah, if you're
going to break the rules, that's fine. You can do that. But the girls in the house are then going to
turn against you. Yeah. Exactly. Like they, uh, the bachelor can turn into middle school really fast.
And I feel like if you don't intercept that immediately, like it's middle school from forever. Like,
it's, it's rude, bitchy girls, especially, especially with the girls and just enemies all over the place
and gang ups and bullying and all this like childish stuff. You can't, you got to get ahead of it.
Yeah, and it definitely escalated all very quickly, but it was a quick turn where you understand all the girls being pissed.
There were 10 girls on the group date.
And because of the time situation when Matt came back in, you know, the girls all thought that they would have time.
I thought they would still be able to talk to him.
But there was like three or four girls who didn't even get to talk to him before he came back in and gave out the group day rose, which went.
to Rachel. Like, Rachel was such a side story to all of this, like, snuck away with the
rose and was like, well, this worked out well for me, but, but not for any, not for anybody else
on the date. And so obviously, these girls are pissed and rightfully so. And I think they're allowed
to be, they're allowed to be pissed. We'll get into how it exploded. But it was a weird
switch with Victoria where she had left and Victoria was the one to come out and talk to,
Sarah pretty calmly, like pretty rationally where it was like, huh, I got to, I got to agree with
what she's saying. Like, Victoria was like, hey, you know, that I understand like, you know,
whatever you're having your issues, but like, you got to talk to him on your own time. Like,
you stole, this was our time. You took our time. You just, the whole vibe changed for the,
for our whole date when you just did that. Like, you, all those girls are like, we're all really
upset you to that. And maybe it would have gotten worse if, if Katie,
and come out and intercept it again.
But bravo to Katie, because Katie, from this moment, all the way to the end of the episode,
did a great job of explaining her feelings in a very rational matter.
Yes, extremely rationally.
And I also thought it was interesting, too, that Victoria, who seemingly listens to no one
and beats, you know, runs to the beat of her own drum, listened to Katie.
And Katie was like, I'll take it from here.
And she was like, okay.
And like went back inside.
I thought that was mature, more mature.
chore on Victoria's part that I thought she was capable of being.
It was really interesting watching it all happened because obviously last week,
we nobody liked Victoria and Sarah seemed to be the frontrunner.
Her and Matt had a great connection.
And then slowly the show just this week makes you sort of turn on Sarah and makes you
start to like Victoria.
And I'd said it last night, but the last thing you want to give.
I still don't like Victoria.
It's definitely not making me like Victoria.
I had to agree with her, which I didn't like.
But that was as far as far as I'll take it.
I actually had a couple of people responding to my tweets
this morning after the show.
It was during the time when the tides were starting to turn a little bit on Victoria.
And they were being like, whoa, how can you support Victoria?
She's the bully when at the time,
because by the end of the episode, she has rallied the troops
and they're starting to bully Sarah and nobody wants that.
But there was a brief moment.
I would say 12 minutes last night where people were starting to be more on Victoria's side.
And you don't want to give Victoria the benefit.
Or you don't want Sarah or Victoria to think that she's right.
Because as soon as you start to let Victoria know that she's right, she's going to turn into a real monster.
Like she already feels confident in the Maryland thing.
Marilyn, you were my first enemy.
You're out of here.
And now it started to look like she was going to be right about Sarah.
And then she starts to be crazy.
I compare her to Thanos.
She's dropping those stones in her glove.
And if you give her too many of those,
she's just going to be drunk with power.
Yeah.
Yes.
Drunk with power.
Yeah, I agree.
I agree.
Like she,
you can't give,
you can't give Victoria that much power.
You can't.
You can't make her think that like she actually has the ability to send people
home herself.
Right.
Her being drunk with power is like one of the worst things.
It's like with you have like a,
you know,
I'm speaking hypothetically here,
of course,
not from my own.
experience, but say you, you, like, have or are a crazy ex-girlfriend and you maybe, like,
see too many weird coincidences online and then you were right about one of them, but now you
think you're right all the time and now you're skeptical or your boyfriend and you, like,
have too much power and you think you're right, but really you don't know what the fuck
you're talking about.
It's Victoria.
Yes.
Yeah.
Definitely not pulling from any personal experience.
No, no, no, no.
Not at all.
You know, like I said, I just heard like that happens.
No, absolutely.
And the way the episode ended, we didn't really get to see.
the girls react fully to Sarah leaving.
So like I imagine at the beginning of next week,
Victoria is going to be like another one.
She's gone.
Like she's like,
she's going to be like, holy shit.
Like I'm crushing it.
These girls are going home.
I'm sending them all home.
Um,
so it just,
it really turned out to be a shitty situation.
Let's,
okay,
so then there was,
I'm,
you guys are going to have to help me on the timeline here for a second.
because then that falls apart.
Rachel gets the group date,
but then there is a one-on-one.
Serena P got a one-on-one date.
Well, yeah, and there was very interesting
because so most of this time where all this is going on,
Sarah has, she's isolated herself from the rest of the...
Yeah, she's been in hiding.
And that leads to, they keep cutting back to the group of girls,
led by Victoria, of course,
just talking mad shit about Sarah.
And that happens a couple of times.
and then the date card, the one-on-one card that goes to Serena shows up,
and at the exact same time, Sarah comes back down and joins the group,
and that makes them all furious.
Is that what happened, or is it, I think it might be,
Serena got the one-on-one date,
and when Matt came to get Serena,
Matt comes to get Serena, Sarah's still upstairs.
She hasn't come down in, like, days.
And that's when Matt's like, wait, Sarah's not here.
I got to go talk to her.
And so then he goes to talk to Sarah.
And then when the second group date card comes, that's when she goes downstairs.
Because there are supposed to be three dates.
There's supposed to be two one-on-one, I mean, two group dates and a one-on-one.
Here's the timeline that I remember where the date card shows up and Sarah shows up at the same
time as the date card.
They get into a fight and then she goes back upstairs.
Yes.
I think that's for the second group date.
Okay, I could have the time.
Because remember, this is what we're talking about.
This is, Serena's waiting for her date.
And Matt shows up.
And Matt sits in the group and, like, looks around.
And they realize that Sarah's not sitting with them.
And so he's like, where Sarah, everyone's like,
oh, she hasn't come down, like, in all day.
Like, she's not talking to any of us.
And so he goes up, he goes up to talk to Sarah,
which I think a lot of people were turning on Sarah in this moment, too,
because it kind of felt like, okay, we see what you're doing.
Like, it's like, oh, the faint.
And oh, let me take his attention away from the group date.
And oh, let me hide upstairs where he has to come to me.
He has to come for me.
I think it was MJ who said, I tweeted it.
And now I'm forgetting.
Like, it was like Sarah's like taking advantage of his kindness or something like that.
where like Sarah had an idea that like this whole thing is working for her because every time she gets
emotional, Matt is like there by her side to comfort her and tell her that he wants her there
and like give her the insurance that she needed.
She's playing the damsel in distress angle.
There has to be it.
There's always a damsel in distress every single time.
And Sarah happens to be it.
And she's, she is, woe as me.
She is take care of me.
Please help me.
Whatever she does.
And I don't doubt.
Real is.
Right.
I don't doubt she was.
afraid of the girls.
She's got real shit.
And I don't,
and I don't doubt that she was terrified of those girls.
They were awful.
They were.
But in that situation,
to be damsland distress and very much like a little eye rolly,
but she did not deserve what she got from those girls.
Yes.
In that situation,
the girls are going to lose their shit even more because they're thinking,
what we're thinking.
They're like,
oh, she's just,
she's hiding now.
And Matt's going to keep checking on her every time that he comes to see
if she's okay.
And that's going to annoy them.
That's going to piss them off.
they obviously got very annoyed.
He said he would be gone for five minutes.
They're all down there.
Serena's waiting for her date.
And Victoria's like,
it's been longer than five minutes.
Like he's not back yet.
And so, you know,
whatever, he comforts Sarah again,
tells her how much he wants her there,
that they have a connection,
wants her to stay.
Right.
That's what I thought was eventually going to be the flaw
in the plan of the rest of the girls
against Sarah.
Because as much as they dislike Sarah,
it doesn't matter if Matt really likes Sarah.
And Matt really likes Sarah.
Matt really likes Sarah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So they can say she's manipulating him and she's doing all these things that goes against
being on this show.
But if Matt likes her, which he does, I didn't think it was going to end up mattering
how they felt.
Obviously, not to jump too far ahead, but she ends up sending herself home.
But I thought they were going to run into a real problem because Matt really likes
Sarah.
Yeah.
Definitely it felt like that this.
could drag on for weeks because Matt wasn't going to be the one to send Sarah home.
Sarah was going to have to send herself home and we do know that that is what happened.
But it did feel like that.
I agree with you.
And then Serena did get her one-on-one date was very, you know, very nice.
Serena P.
This kind of got buried a little bit in all the drama of this episode.
But Matt, Matt is a really a turtleneck guy.
Like I, he's like at least two turtlenecks per episode.
He's got all these great fall outfits putting out that fall, those fall fits,
which is a great reminder for you guys listening that if you are, you know,
you need some good winter outfits, some good sweatshirts, jackets,
you want to stay cozy, you want to stay warm.
The Barstall Sports Store has all of your needs, cozy sweatshirts, cozy socks.
You know, we got all of our tricks in the office merch, Kelly,
because we got high merch is all fantastic.
you can match up your chicks in the office sweatshirt with your,
because we've got high,
tube socks,
like you'll be looking fantastic.
Trent truly does not take off his barstool beanie.
You can get one of those.
All right.
I don't want to interrupt you on here.
But the reason for that is that I have been in quarantine,
as everyone knows.
And I haven't been able to get a haircut.
So my hair,
people aren't going to think that it's long because it doesn't look long.
but it just certainly doesn't look long.
It's a little long for my liking, so I keep the beanie on,
and that's just kind of the reason.
Okay.
Well, you know what?
If you're feeling a little insecure about your hair,
you too can get a barstool beanie to cover it up.
Highly recommend everything is at store.
dbarsall sports.com to shop now and get those things.
And you know what?
Yeah, the turtleneck thing, it's a good look for him.
He's a very tall guy.
It was funny because I think it was actually the first group date
that everybody was saying he looked like
Frozone from The Incredibles.
And it sucked because I almost was mad
because I was like, oh, Matt, like,
Matt, like, was able to fire off those jokes midweek
because of the previews.
I was like, oh, you steal that from us?
Like, while we're live tweeting, like, I get it.
Like, you, it's funny, your moment.
By the way, Matt, phenomenal.
He's been tweeting during the episodes.
Great tweets.
They had a great one during the erotic.
a date of like it was like my mom and it's the you know the woman falling over on the side of the
bed like watching the date um everybody's still talking about how he's kissing with his eyes open
so he did he did like a really close up photo of his face with like his eyes wide open it's just
like point of view when kissing like just right up his face so good very funny
very good modern bachelor in that self-awareness plays every single time
Like the, the, the, thing has been a topic, the one of the main topics of conversation for two to three weeks now.
And he just puts all that to bed with that really funny tweet and people just move on now.
Like having a self-aware funny bachelor like that is just really, really awesome.
It absolutely is.
It makes it so much better.
He was so great.
He is great on Twitter.
And it's nice.
It's always nice when you can see someone who can laugh at themselves, you know, like not to not take it so seriously.
Right.
Like we're not going to see any like no tap iPhone whatever's from Matt being like listening to you guys like this was a little, this was a little rude. This is a little this.
Matt can take a joke.
Mac can laugh at himself and he can laugh with us and he's not so serious.
Yeah.
It's really great.
So his date with Serena was lovely.
Serena is 22.
So she's a little bit on the younger side.
You know, they did their horseback riding date.
She seems very fun and outgoing, which I think Matt likes.
Like she seemed down to like jump on that horse and start riding and go and they got a whole, you.
you know, picnics set up for them and the donkey interrupting their kiss.
You know, it's, it was a cute date.
They got to talk later about her, like, past relationship.
But she's, she's young.
It's like, she was like, I had one very serious relationship, thought he was the one.
Like, yeah, you had one, one.
It's great that Matt was, that Matt had the conversation about,
have you ever been in love with Serena?
Because she's young.
and I know Matt has sort of said,
no, I've never been in love.
Maybe in the past when I was younger,
I thought I knew what it was,
but I don't really.
Like, I think if that has that conversation
with someone, with one of the contestants
that's in their late 20s,
I think it might scare them a little bit.
But saying to Serena,
like, she's like, yeah, I'm 22.
Like, I'm pretty new to this stuff as well.
I really thought the whole date
was an absolute delight.
Her being so young,
it's hard to put her as a frontrunner
or that she's going to win this thing.
But the date that they had together,
I thought was really great.
I tweeted this also.
I just like don't really know what's going to happen.
Like sometimes there's just girls that I feel like, okay, yes, 100% are going to make it far.
But I think we all felt that about Sarah.
And I don't know if it's just that these one-on-one dates, Matt is just very charming.
And you're like, oh, I see it.
And the girls are doing great on the one-on-ones where it's like, oh, because so far, every one-on-one, I've been like, oh, she's.
Because so far every one-on-one, I've been like, oh, she's.
She's going to go far. Oh, she's going to go far. After Serena, I was like, oh, he likes Serena, like,
Serena P. I think she might be a sleeper pick. I think she's going to go far. Like, I just,
I can't decide. I really can't decide. Fran, you're right, because I think he's so, he's, he is so
personable. He's so good at, like, talking to these girls and getting them to get out of their
shell and, like, be honest with him. And he's so likable that they're all, like, you know,
they're feeling their best. They're giving their best foot forward because they really like him.
And they all look great. He helps to make them look good.
So the question is like how many of them actually look good or how many of them are like, you know, just kind of sitting in the reflection of math shine.
Right.
It's a good question.
Wow.
Good question.
It doesn't feel fair for me to say that if Serena was 27, she would be my frontrunner.
But I like the age thing is just tough.
And it's it's bared out that way in the history of the show where just when you're really young, it usually falls apart at some point.
Yeah.
And if she does go far, we have the perfect setup for like a dad who hates this, right?
Like she had said, my dad didn't like any of this.
They didn't like me go out on the show, the whole thing.
So it's a perfect setup for Serena P to make it to hometowns and for Serena P's dad to be like,
what the fuck are you doing?
And for Matt to be like, ooh, maybe this isn't going to work.
And she gets at home.
Like it just kind of seems like that setup is totally there.
Also, at the end of their day date, Matt was talking about, I believe, a pet turtle
that he had growing up.
And she was like, she was like, what?
Like, she was dumbfounded by pet turtle.
I'm like, pet turtle isn't a weird thing.
Kids have pet turtles.
Pet turtles are so cute.
I think turtles are cute.
I would like, I would have turtles.
If I, like, could have a turtle.
I didn't have one.
But one of my best friends in high school, like my best girlfriends had two turtles.
Yeah.
They're like still alive, which is weird.
Turtles live like, I know that they say like they live forever,
but they're just like random turtles.
I think that my one friend bought her off of Canal Street.
And they're in like the ninth grade, we're now 30 all of us.
So yeah, like it's great old-ass turtles.
Some people live like 150 years old.
I don't know which turtles that is, but there's definitely turtles.
I truly think we're just taking all of this information from finding emo.
I don't think we have any other.
reliable source. We just immediately go to Finding Nemo and
him and being like, how old are you? He's like,
what does he say?
Yeah, yep, that's all. Because when Trent said 150, I was like, I'm pretty sure
we're all thinking of finding Nemo right now. Did you guys ever watch
Franklin the Turtle? Of course.
Okay. Hey, it's Franklin.
Do, do, do, do, do, do, do to come into your house. Yeah, of course.
One of the great theme songs of all time.
So good.
Franklin's a good one.
I really thought I was going to say,
Franklin,
you were going to be like,
you're 150 years old just like,
no, no,
Trent,
you and me,
not with me on the pod today.
No,
yeah,
I was going to say,
when you get the Kelly sub-in for Ria,
it's,
that's a bit,
it's changes quickly.
That's true.
Because I can,
because the way that I can play it is like,
I can play it like,
oh, yeah,
Trent,
you're so old.
Like,
I'm so young.
Like,
to agree with Ria. And now when Kelly's on, I'm like, oh, totally remember that. So true.
Like, yes, absolutely. No, but I really do. I do really remember Franklin, though. I can say that
100%. This one's another hot tub. They had a hot tub on the state. I feel like this hot tub,
maybe like they just have it, it has a permanent forklift and they just carry it around the resort.
Because it looks like the same hot tub, right? Yes, it definitely looks like the same hot tub. I wonder,
or two if they just have like multiple hot tubs around the resort you know like i bet they probably
have like four on all every corner of the place and they and they're all obviously looking the same because
you know it's a hotel Trent just got to say I think it's going to get even better in the coming
weeks because there was still some green in the trees during this serena date yep but the foliage
was popping like when they were on the horses riding over the hills and the trees are behind them
scenic. I don't want I just I don't want to overdo it on the foliage stuff but the foliage
has been so so good every time they come back from a personal break they're like it's foliage time
every opportunity they have when they're having to go from one room to another from one day to
another it's just all foliage all the time and it makes me so happy it's beautiful it really
is beautiful they out you're right they'll do themselves every week it's beautiful it's stunning I love it
Yep. So Serena has a great date. Seems like things are going well for her. And now on the other side of this, I believe this is when there's another knock, the group date, there's a second group date. And now Sarah shows up. So that was kind of funny because it was like, oh, is she like seeing if she's on a date or what she's so, whatever. She comes and sits down and gets absolutely ripped apart. These girls.
girls are so furious. She tries to like apologize again and explain herself. I think it is important
to say that, you know, us watching like we know her family story. We know the backstory. I don't
think any of these other girls necessarily know what she was dealing with or what she was going
through at home. And they just saw her as like, you know, greedy stealing his time and then like
being upset about it, not really knowing that she was probably dealing with a bunch of other
stuff too. Maybe that's why she doesn't want to spend time downstairs with all the girls.
But they really ripped into her, like from every angle. Everyone was pissed. Even Abigail
chimed in. Like sweet Abigail was like, hey, you're, you were potentially taking roses for other
people. Um, I think it was Kayla who was like, look, like we, you know, I was on that group date and I
didn't get to talk to him. And now I potentially like could not get a rose this week because of that
moment. So yes, they were pissed. And I, and I understand it when they maybe have it in smaller
settings, because those girls made good points. Like what Kayla said, it makes sense and I get it.
But when all like 18 of them are sitting there together and it's just one after the other of
getting up on her and nobody's saying like, hey, like take it easy. We're all pissed, but like this
is maybe going a little too far. And then ending it with Kit being like, hey, also Victoria's like,
we don't know you.
We don't know anything about you.
Like just so, so bitchy, so mean.
They, like, the girls have a right to be mad.
I understand that they have their grievances with Sarah.
But Victoria sets the tone in that room.
And it's always just the meanest, most obnoxious version of being mad at someone.
Like, yeah.
Sarah was trying to apologize being, like, I had these insecurities.
Like, this is what's going on.
I want to apologize to you guys.
And Victoria just goes, who are you talking to?
I don't know who you're talking to.
It's like, you guys can be mad at her,
but you don't have to be such a bitch to her like that.
Right.
She's such a child about it.
And also, I want to say that this bullying,
it is just like bullying.
Yeah, yeah.
What I've been calling it, I'm going to keep calling it that.
I don't know if that's like lame or not.
But she, it's kind of started when like Sarah was upset on the like erotic reading date.
And that was when she started being upset about other things,
not about the date so much.
She was starting to get upset about other things, starting to feel anxious,
feel like she wanted to talk to Matt, needed time with him, whatever.
While that was happening, the girls inside, I don't know who said it first,
but somebody was like, oh, like, I don't know,
she's probably just, like, upset by the date because she's approved.
Like, started immediately with that.
And I was like, oh, we're going here.
We're going to, oh, she's just a prude.
Like, what a loser.
So they went into that fight, her coming down sincerely apologizing and basically being like,
I'm just going through a tough time and I'm confused and I don't really know,
trying to like actually bear her soul to these women,
they're all in the mentality of like,
nah, nah, like you're a prude.
What a loser.
Like, we don't know you.
Who are you?
It was fucking crazy.
To be honest, it was insane.
And no one stood up.
How did that one person say,
hey, like this is too much.
Like you said, Trent, no one said, it's too much.
It's fucked up.
Yeah.
And I understand like why the girls are upset.
I could, I, it's tough because I would imagine,
it's hard because the way she explained it to,
was like, I really was thinking about going home and I needed to talk to him about it.
And unfortunately, like, that's how Sarah feels, which is fine.
But, like, I almost think that that set them off even more.
Because it was like, you want to go home and you're stealing our time.
Like, you couldn't have waited one day to talk to him about that, like, whatever.
And so obviously, you know, for Sarah, though, it's like, hey, that one day could be a huge day.
You don't know what everything she has going on.
but it was way too much.
It got way too vicious, really, really aggressive.
I wanted to find this so I could read exactly what Kit said because it was like, whoa,
okay, I've never, because you can always tell and insinuate like, oh, man, these girls are like,
they're really going to give Sarah hell in the house.
And you can infer that from how they talk, but you don't ever actually see them be like,
get ready, like full mean girls, you can't sit with us.
we're going to make your life shit.
Kit said, I hope that your connection with Matt is very strong right now because the
rest of your living situation here is going to be horrible.
It's like, whoa.
And Victoria's next to her like, he, yeah, it is.
Like it was the two of them next to each other was scary.
It was very aggressive.
And I in that moment felt very, very bad for Sarah because regardless of if you're right or
wrong or whatever, getting.
ganged up on like that is terrifying and just so mean. And props to Katie because, you know,
Sarah went back upstairs and was super emotional. And Katie was the only one to go up there and be like,
hey, like, you, you got to figure this out. What do you want to do? And, you know, Sarah explained
her family situation because she had said, Matt, like, I think the girls could tell that Matt likes her,
obviously. Matt's coming to her rescue all the time. So it's like, if you leave, like, I don't want Matt second
guessing like, oh, I wish Sarah didn't leave. I didn't wish Sarah didn't leave. And then for Katie
to be the second choice is how she had worded it, which was very, very valid. And then Sarah was like,
look, I got my family situation, my dad. I don't know how much time we have left with him.
And Katie was like, it seemed like she was the perfect person to talk to her at the time because
she was like, hey, I lost my dad in 2012. And I like wish I could go back and spend that time.
Like, you should, you should probably leave.
Katie's saying
the thing you said where
she's like, I don't want to be Matt's second
choice. If you feel a real connection with Matt
you should stay and see how
that plays out is probably the most
absurd thing I've ever seen on this show.
I could not agree more. Actually.
More or none. Like every other girl
or every other contestant
bachelor or bachelorette, if they see
someone being like, oh, I think I'm going to go home,
they're just like, all right, see you because that's one
less person than I have to deal with. For Katie
to play it through in her mind being like,
If Matt really likes Sarah, which I think that he does,
I'd rather see them play out and potentially be together
than me be the second choice.
It's just a really interesting approach to the whole show.
The second choice thing is good, but I think as well,
I think she also says something like,
if he really likes him and has a connection
and you don't get to talk to him and you just leave,
it's going to be worse with all of us
because he's just going to be thinking like what if about Sarah.
Yeah, yeah, definitely.
So, again, so mature.
Yeah, definitely.
So Sarah comes to the decision that she does need to leave.
She talks to Matt again.
And Matt's still trying to get her to stay.
Like Matt still wants her to stay.
But Sarah seems like she, you know, her mind is made up.
She's sad to leave Matt.
But like she needed to go.
And we really don't know all of Sarah's situation.
There's tons of rumors flying around.
There's tons of speculation.
Like we don't know.
Maybe her family said to her like, hey,
you 100% should go it'll be okay and she was like hesitant about it but did it anyway and then
realize she didn't want to be there because there's been a lot a lot swirling around um i'm gonna read
this was a little bit of a yike situation um so uh not skinny but not fat reposed to this on
her story and it's a tweet now who knows this seems like a woman she's like 15,000 followers
she's a broker in San Diego.
And that's where Sarah's parents live.
And she wrote, I'll say this, then shut up.
Now I don't have to listen to Sarah drag her dad through the hashtag Bachelor
bullshit.
He's been my friend for 34 years.
He didn't deserve to be used on TV.
I introduced her parents to each other.
They are my friends.
The whole thing was a travesty.
So now I take that like I'm, there's a lot of things.
There's a lot of, and I'm, I'm going to read something else too.
because I think everybody can form their own opinions
about Sarah and her motives and whatnot.
And obviously everybody's been talking about it.
And Reality Steve posted today as well.
And like we say, whenever, you know,
Rhea and I talk about reality, Steve,
it's like, you know, you can believe it.
You can not believe it.
This is literally his job, like his livelihood.
Like this is what he does for a living.
So he wrote, as for Sarah,
while the treatment the other girls gave her last,
night was embarrassing and deserved to be called out.
Let's just say that I'm not buying the character Sarah is portraying.
From the second the cast was announced on October 6th,
I've heard nothing but questionable things about Sarah.
And again, it's not that she's a horrible person or should be canceled,
but just more of the same that we've seen from contestants season in and season out.
I do not expect Sarah to post pictures and or videos of her father with ALS all over her
Instagram.
But nothing in Sarah's public persona on IG screams,
I live at home and I'm a caretaker for my dad.
She's not.
So I have a real hard time with her playing a role that's a flat out.
It can't be easy dealing with what she's dealing with in regards to her father.
I get that.
We're all very sorry.
We all feel sorry for what's happening with her dad.
Just don't sell to America.
You're his caretaker.
When you live in L.A., when you live in L.A., Claire's Day based on her Instagram.
Your parents live in San Diego.
All it takes is a quick look on Facebook.
And every picture and video you post on IG are thirst traps and modeling picks speaks for itself.
Like, all right, reality, Steve, let's come down.
I hate when he starts getting a little too.
It's like, relax.
Like sometimes I'm like, just give me the facts.
Right. He said, just be real. That's all people ask for. There's caretaker role is a bit of a stretch. And then he said, so there's that aspect. And then there's the rumor that's up and floating around that she had a boyfriend pre-show. She did the show strictly to build a brand and gain more followers and that she's already back together with him and has been spending time with him since the second she got back. Now, I saw some things about this too. I'll sign note, like people calling her another Jed, like striking up a deal with her boyfriend being like, I'm going on the show, you know, to build.
my brand and then I'm leaving. Now, like, the fact that she sent herself home kind of supports
that argument, I feel like a little bit because she could have stayed, but like maybe she was like,
oh, shit, I am in love with my boyfriend. Like, I've been here long enough. Now it's time to leave.
So I don't know. But it's also like, how good of an actor is she? She was crying. Like, it felt
very emotional. So I don't know. But he continued. Reality CV said,
here's what I know. I have a video of them. This is Sarah and her boyfriend, ex-boyfriend,
whoever. She said, I have a video of them on a trip to Mexico a month before filming ended.
They were seen together in L.A. a week before she left her filming. He's got both a work
Instagram and private Instagram and she follows him on both. I've been told by more than one
person, they are clearly back together post-filming. They haven't hit it at all privately.
And her whole appearance was just to get notice and build her brand. Again, not the first person
to do this and certainly won't be the last. But when we
see the quote character being portrayed on television it's not lining up and let's refrain from the
why do you hate sarah so much nonsense which i'm sure is coming i don't i report on this show i report on
things that 95% of the audience doesn't follow i'm pointing out we'll never see on the show since i know
a lot of people are interested in what happens behind the scenes well that's sarah well this guy
she's dating come forward and admit this probably not can i prove it without outing sources no and he's
just as big of an idiot for letting her go to the show and taking her right back why because i guarantee
she'll do this to him if they're still together and she gets asked to go on paradise whatever.
All right.
So basically.
Like, relax, Steve.
He loves to hear himself talk.
Love it.
He's saying, will the boyfriend come forward?
Will publicly say what's going on?
Like, no, they're probably going to try and go back to their regular life.
Like, unless, but this is a thing.
Like, I get that and I see that angle and I understand that because, you know, there's been
TikToks.
There's been Instagram posts.
of like Sarah being like,
here's how I became a model in L.A.
Like the TikTok of her like putting together her portfolio
and sending out her photos in the full thing.
And there is just,
and I get it.
And it's this is what we deal with all the time now.
It's here for the right reasons argument.
But every single contestant is on this show
with the hopes that it furthers their career in some way.
Like there's no one that goes on this show now
that isn't like,
well, at least, you know,
this could help my,
this could help my brand, especially if your brand is being a model and wanting to be an influencer,
like this is what's going to give you that little bit of a bump. It's the same thing with Kit.
Like Kit, we were like, she kind of already is an influencer. And now she's just trying to be like
a higher level influencer by getting the little bachelor bump. I just don't get why people
like put so much weight on the fact that on that exact thing. Like she's going on only to further her
career. Like she probably was thinking of ways in her life, like, what would be good for my career? And probably
at some point, applied for The Bachelor as like a joke with her friends or something and was maybe like
Rocky with her boyfriend. She's hanging out with Jeezee randomly. She's just like hanging out around
LA, randomly apply for the Bachelor. Or you literally have an agent. You have an agent who says like you should
go on the Bachelor. Right. And or and then just says like, oh, whatever. If it works, it works. And then
I'm sorry, it's only week three. It's like she took us all the way to the fucking end. Like Jed
did. It's nothing like that.
Week three, she's like, literally two weeks.
And she's like, you got, I don't know, I don't know.
It starts feeling too serious for her.
She starts feeling guilty about what's happening at home.
Maybe she just like, it's too much of a ruse to keep up.
She doesn't want to be there for the wrong reasons anymore.
Right.
So she's got to go.
Right.
That was the first time I heard all of that information.
And it really, like in the back of my head, I was thinking, I bet Sarah comes back at
some point.
I no longer think that.
Yeah.
I really, yeah.
Yeah.
I really thought, like, I thought she would, if the character and all that was to be,
to be believed on the show, I thought maybe she would go home for a little bit.
Her family would re-talk her into coming back onto the show and trying to find love with
Matt.
I no longer want to put that theory forth because I don't think it's true.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, look, take that information and feel about it, however, you know, you would like.
It does just seem to me like, at the end of the day, this is a woman who,
is still trying to build her career.
And yes, the model influencer, people make fun of that being your career path.
But that's what she wants to do.
And regardless of like the timeline of when she was a caregiver, if she wasn't a caregiver,
if she was, if she wasn't, if she quit her job, she didn't like, her dad still has ALS.
Like that is like horrific.
Like I just can't imagine, I can't imagine going on a show like this, having a
parent be sick like that and then having people like nitpick the timeline or how much I care
about my parent or not, you know? So I'm sure it's got to be a lot for a lot for her to deal with.
Now, I don't know what that tweet from that real estate agent is implying like that was really
like a bomb that was like, okay, like does Sarah's family hate her? And she like what?
Right. Is she like emancipated or something? Like I get, I don't get the vibe that she has like a family
that hates her. Like I'm pretty sure she spoke of them quite fondly.
Like it just seems weird.
What I don't know what you're talking about?
The one that I read before the reality Steve stuff that said this woman that she said
she's known Sarah's parents for 34 years and that all this shit was bullshit and everything.
So yeah, it's, there's just like a lot, a lot, a lot of rumors and things like that flying around
that we aren't going to totally know for sure.
Hopefully Sarah at a certain time, like maybe can hop on a podcast and talk about it.
I'm sure someone will give her that spot.
And obviously, whatever, she's under contract.
So I'm sure it'll be like with Nick Fial.
Like it'll be like a good one.
We're all going to be like, fuck yes.
Like, okay, like let's get, let's get all the information.
Yeah.
And so we'll see what happens.
But that's really where we left off.
Sarah was going home.
And it looks like we got five new girls coming next week.
you thought, like, there's already, there's still 18 girls, and we're getting five more.
It's like we're starting over from the beginning again.
I just keep that that's happening.
Like, I, yeah, I believe after the first week preview,
because I thought the girls were going to show up at the beginning of the second week.
But at this point, I had totally forgotten that there were more girls coming in.
And I just get reminded every week during the teaser that it's like, oh, yeah,
this already super rocky situation with these bullies in the house is,
going to get even worse because more girls are showing up.
I'm wondering why they're doing this.
Maybe it'll be a good thing.
Like maybe they'll come in and they'll replace all of the people who are currently
shitty.
Like, you know what I mean?
Like maybe it'll force them to show their true colors and then we'll get rid of like
kid, Victoria, like all those bitches in one foul swoop.
That might be an I.
I might be on board for that.
Yeah.
I don't know.
It makes me think that the way they did Clarentatious season where it seemed like maybe
they had extra guys like waiting in the wing and coronation.
And then they were like, oh, well, we got a record amount of girls to apply for Matt season.
We're going to fly these girls out here anyway.
How do we make this as drama filled as possible?
Like, okay, let's just fucking send them into the house.
Let's just like, let's send them in, see what happens.
We got this drama with Anna.
It seems like Anna says she's got information on one of the new girls coming in saying she's an escort.
So it felt like there was a lot of drama with Sarah.
It's only week three and it feels like it's just going to get more and more intense.
Because now that they keep adding people, I'm like, well, is this adding weeks to the show?
Like, how long are we, how long are we going to, how long are we going to be doing this?
So.
Good question.
I don't know.
All the outside stuff aside, just ignoring that like I didn't hear it.
Sarah going home is stunning.
It's stunning.
He was.
Yeah.
one of the girls that we knew the most by far because she had a one-on-one date and she went through
all this drama with the girls so to just take her out of the equation like who would you say is the
frontrunner right now i guess it's is it do we go all the way back to brie like yeah one left
last that i remember like my in my head sarah and brie were top two like that was my like
i know i know i mean now i think but i know i like i can't even throw out a top four i really
have no idea either no way
I would put Katie in mind, but I don't know what her and match relationship is like.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Maybe he seems mature enough to go really fuck.
Yes.
Yeah.
We'll see.
I would guess like, I don't know.
I don't know.
See, what sucks to do is I feel like now that there are Bachelor, like Bachelor nation podcasts,
I feel like, you know, that is totally run, I think by ABC.
So it's like they, when you see people go on.
certain shows.
I'm like, okay, because if you watch like,
um, Matt, uh,
Clare and Tasia season at the end, you know,
Rachel and Becca were getting contestants on the episodes.
And I'd be like, oh, does that mean like that they don't go that far?
Like, I can't imagine that they would be interviewing the winner at this point.
And end up, you know, they, they didn't interview Zach until the end of the show, like with Tasia.
So Katie was on, uh,
Happy Hour, they was on with Rachel and Becca, I believe, this week. So I'm like, oh, like, does that,
does like, is that like the kiss of death for Katie? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
So that's tough. That's tough. Yeah. It's just another, another point to just keep into consideration,
because there's a lot of, there's a lot of moving pieces, but I don't know, it's going to be
very dramatic when all these extra, extra girls come in. We haven't even gotten to Heather yet.
like I'm already drained.
Oh my God.
I know there's so much.
Well, you know what?
We asked for drama and we got drama.
So we got to,
we sure did.
We just lap it up as much as we can.
Overall, I would say I'm very happy with the season so far.
I'm really.
Yeah, as of mine.
Yeah, I think next week's going to be even crazier.
Shit's really going to hit the fan.
So we'll see what happens.
Guys, thank you so much for joining me for our Bachelor Recap this week.
We will be back next week to break down.
all the good shit that's happening again.
So thanks for listening, everyone.
