Starting point is 00:00:20 Hello, everybody, and welcome back to the Chuluminotic Podcast, episode 367. As always, I am one of your host, Mike Martin, joined by my own personal deacon and priest, Jesse and Alex. Deacon and priest. All right. I'm a Catholic, right? So the deacons, you were Catholic, you know, deacons. Yeah, I remember.
Starting point is 00:00:38 I get it. I thought junior priests who can marry and fuck. Can I be honest? Like, when you said deacon and priest, like, where my mind immediately went was Deacon Frost from the blade film. and so I was like oh these are vampires in like some kind of like comic book-esque like
Starting point is 00:00:54 90s edge Lord vampire universe Deacon and Priest It's like a ghost writer situation It's like Garth Ennis You know what I mean like it's like preacher We're like deacon and priest We got fangs I'm sorry you that's
Starting point is 00:01:06 There's something like that out there I know that that's I know that exists No I went for bringing you back to church boys The church is losing members We need to rejoin with God And so who is going to be the
Starting point is 00:01:20 so who which of you is going to take the vow of never fucking again and become a priest and which one of you says fuck that I'm having a wife and kids deacon before you make that decision I want you to take a vow to head over to patreon.com slash Chalimnotty pod where you can support this fine show
Starting point is 00:01:35 and all of our experimentation into the weird and crazy corners of this world where if we don't take at least one week to pretend to buy into the thing that we're talking about You will never get context with which you may express your own understanding of further nonsense that shows up in the world.
Starting point is 00:01:54 We are like a shield against nonsense for you. This is a psychic damage training ground. Of the mountain of nonsense. Of bullshit. Yeah, that's right. Yeah. And the craziest part is that some of the bullshit is 100% real. And we will never quite know exactly what part.
Starting point is 00:02:17 So go ahead and support us on Patreon. Yeah. I was going to say for a long time. I didn't think child sex islands were real. And then Jeffrey Epstein happened. So they're real. Take that from Mathis, okay? Just from Mathis.
Starting point is 00:02:29 Just for me. Yeah. And this week's episode, however, I don't know. It's not me or you, Alex. It's one of the rare ones. I have no idea how surprisingly real or not this episode is going to be because this episode is one of those ones. where it's like a crime of passion where like you don't know you're going to commit murder because you didn't just find your you didn't know you were going to find your wife in bed
Starting point is 00:02:54 with a guy you know what I mean and then I guess in this case we're asking like what if that guy was God right Jesse uh take it away help help gentlemen I've hijacked today's episode to bring you what I think everyone's been waiting for Since its discovery, but a few short episodes ago, of course, I'm talking about this book, ordered and received making love to God, the path to divine sex. This is probably the first time this book has ever been printed and shipped to anyone. It got shipped you so fast because the individual running the warehouse was been. If you go to the back, I bet you it says like September 2nd, Las Vegas.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Like, I bet you it's like from like the other day, mate. Well, you know, I, no comment. Uh, it does say, it does say though, for those of you curious, so this is by, it is by Anonda through Tina Louise Spalding. Channeled material by Ananda. I cannot wait to learn how to get into the thick lips. Wait, wait. God. Did you just say that it was, this is the author of the.
Starting point is 00:04:15 this is not from this realm. What is being given here is channeled through Tina, 53 year old Tina, mother of, I believe, two sons. Uh, yes, this is channeled through her. I think this lady was my Uber driver one time in San Jose. This, uh, this of course, is one of the many books by the publisher of the Pale Horse book that we read and went through with Mathis, uh, with all those conspiracies, but while I was expecting to find equal nonsense in this book, I gotta be honest, y'all. I don't know if I'm in the right mindset or what, but like it came out swinging. I was like, okay, to be clear. There is nothing I would say is necessarily new in this book.
Starting point is 00:05:08 It's very much like your typical new age philosophy or existentialism. wrapped in like a sexy package. It's kind of like the book version of a near automata, right? Like sexy robot lady, but oh no, don't thinking about existence. Are we going to find out, are we going to find out that all we needed to do to onboard Jesse and to woo-woo shit was to put horniness in there?
Starting point is 00:05:33 Pretty much, yes. How did I fail that? How did I fail that over nine years of doing the show? Your horniness is different, my man. That's true. Yeah, you're like, you know, you know, you're like, I love me in baby. Baby horny? You're like, you're like, your's this baby orny.
Starting point is 00:05:48 You're like, yeah, you're like, yeah, it's like a staple gun. You're like, yeah, it's like a staple gun. Yeah. What does that mean? What do you fucking mean? What do you think means, man? I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:05:58 I haven't seen boss baby. Well, there's your problem. All right. That's it. That's the, that's the, that's the, that's the er text of our generation, to be honest. True. Like, if you watch one movie for the bit, make it boss baby. Because then that tweet hits hard, dude.
Starting point is 00:06:13 Because then that tweet hits super hard. You're going to notice as we go through this book that a lot of stuff is super recognizable. You've probably heard it before. You'll probably agree with it. It is an extremely agreeable book. Does God like getting his ass eight? Well, you know, you'll find out. You'll find out.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Really? What's kind of interesting about reading this book is it comes off as sort of like this book is this book is going to teach you. you how to like get off real good is kind of what you expect going in. But the reality of it is it's more like how to be a better person book, which I thought was interesting. So that's how we got Jesse to be a better person is hooked him with horny. Yeah. Well, I feel like in life lessons. I felt most of it are things I've already done. And I was like, holy shit, am I self actualized? What? Like I had moments where I was like, should I be a non? Anyway, the book starts out.
Starting point is 00:07:18 This is where like, Jesse's like the most vulnerable. He's ever been to woo right now, Alex. And I feel like we have an opportunity here. Well, let's get to the end. It's time for him to read Prometheia by Alan Moore. It's time. Give Jesse a little hallucinogenic and he'll start channeling Ananda himself. I would love to do that.
Starting point is 00:07:34 We should make that an episode. Um, this book starts out in my favorite way possible. I could not. I can't make this up. Again, this book is called. making love to God. Hell yeah. And the dedication is to the author's two sons.
Starting point is 00:07:52 Fuck yeah. I love that. Not where I would dedicate the title. No fear. No fear. This is all about this is like those kids. This is like those people that kiss their parents on the lips. I'm like,
Starting point is 00:08:02 I genuinely believe like whatever. It's like you guys do your thing. It's not. I get that it's not sexual for you guys. I feel like their mom is a trip for me. You know what I mean? I feel like their mom is wild style. all the time.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Like crystals all in the house? I have to believe that. In fact. What was the show where they went to the island and it was like a bunch of milfs and then they realized that they would be like trying to hook up with each other's. Like Milf Island or whatever where it was literally the only men available were all their sons. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:34 So fucked up, dude. What the fuck? That's how far we've gone. That's how Biff Tannen we are right now. We're in the Bif 10 in 19. Oh, it's like that. Martin McFly's jump through his. window that dude's chasing him through his house with the bat right now that's what's happening so
Starting point is 00:08:48 how does one sign up for one of these shows well i think it was it's one of those gimmick shows where basically the premise was a bunch of sexy older women and up on an island and there's a bunch of hot young men except the twist was all the hot young men one of the men was god what i could pass as one of their sons and i could be god no that's what like charles manson says like what you just said yeah that's I can be one of their sons and I could be God, man. So the book starts with an introduction that is kind of an ex, like an explainer of how we got to this book. And I'm just going to post this in here for Mathis to read. This is her, this is her introduction.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Oh my gosh. Oh, Jesus. She's so eloquent. I had just finished a two year digital media design program. And a few days before my graduation, I lay down to nap on the futon. my living room. It was mid-afternoon and the day had been a normal one. I was enjoying freedom from the homework and design projects that had taken up so much of the past two years. As I lay there, beginning to relax and to sleep, a strong sensation began to build at the base of my spine. It was not a
Starting point is 00:10:01 pain at all, but a swelling and expanding feeling that was actually quite pleasant. I had just finished reading two books on kundalini the ancient sanskrit name for a sacred sexual energy and i thought that it is very rasta and i had thought that perhaps this was what i was feeling so i relaxed and began a breathing technique i had been practicing the energy built and built slowly rising up my spine strong waves of energy rose up my back bursting out the back of my head an explosive burst of static release. As I look back on that now, I'm amazed that I wasn't afraid. I was completely calm. The event lasted an hour and a half with three rounds of the energy bursting and rising up in my spine. All the while, my body was not under my control. I had never in all my 53 years experienced anything
Starting point is 00:10:52 like it. What was even more amazing was that these events continued, one, two, or sometimes even three times a day for the next three weeks. It's exhausting. I was fascinated. I was fascinated. a day, bro. She was Kundalini a week three times a day. It's crazy. Kundalini with vodka sauce, bro. I was fascinated and strangely, not
Starting point is 00:11:12 scared at all. You see the blissful and ecstatic events that I had experienced that day took me to the state of such heightened awareness and peace that I was completely enamored. So she's just orgasming on the ground? Kundalini awakenings from my
Starting point is 00:11:26 understanding of what I've read are not orgasm focused, but like it's through Kundalini work that they, You can, it's like breathing techniques and it is like, like, base of the spine, tailbone like area that like rises up into your head and just like, I don't know what it's supposed to feel like. And then from that point on, people say like everything about how you see things is changed. I don't, I don't know. Damn, dude.
Starting point is 00:11:51 Yeah. Have you kudelina, Woken, Jesse? It's not a physical release so much as an energetic one. Um, whatever that means. This is like what I think people get from going to fish. concerts that I don't understand. Like there's something that keeps them going that I am like, I don't, what do you guys? What is it? You have to be open to it, I guess. Is the five here? Maybe my ex-Gene, you're mad that you just don't understand. I think my ex-gene made me immune
Starting point is 00:12:17 to orgone energy, dude. I don't know. That's an unfortunate mutation. Yeah. Yeah. That's an unfortunate mutation. Um, she goes on to say that she was blessed to know a talented trance channel. And this is where it gets into like, YouTuber, like, no AI. like all music? I don't know if she means someone that channels trance or someone that has a trance EDM station or someone that has a YouTube channel about trance. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:12:46 I thought she meant somebody who could trance and then through trance channel something. I just go like. There's so much of that, dude. There's so much of that in this world. That's a type of Pokemon trainer in Lavender Tower. Yeah. She reaches out to this person
Starting point is 00:13:03 because apparently they've gone through a similar spiritual awakening a few years before. And she's like, they would know what to do. So it turns out her friend who was in trance and doing all that stuff was running. She was like into trance. She was into like Molly. She was like crazy warehouse shows. Yeah, I'm sure. She was running an automatic writing workshop and was like, hey, if you want to get in the next class, I got a spot for you.
Starting point is 00:13:28 So Tina signs up hoping to find some sort of answers as to who or. what in her words has been having its way with her every day. So basically she's being like, spiritually banged by something. Is that in the Kundalini? Somebody comes in and has their way? I don't think so. I didn't, I didn't think so. That's the spicy. That's the spicy carvena Kundalini. Hey, that's exactly exactly. That's a spicy Cabinara branch of Kunalini. She is like something has been having its way with me. I don't understand what this is. and I've been like spiritually getting off every single day. So I need some answers.
Starting point is 00:14:07 And this is what happens. Wait, wait, wait. Who, why is this like ringing a bell for me? It wasn't like, didn't like Jenna Jameson or like Anna Nicole Smith or somebody like, wasn't she like, I fucked a ghost every morning? Yes. Oh, it does sound familiar. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:25 Like what the fuck? I don't. Yes. I know what you're talking about. I'm absolutely. wild. What a wild thing for more than one person to be on the record about?
Starting point is 00:14:35 Let's find out. Oh, my, and Nicole Smith is one of them. Yeah. There are seven celebrities who have claimed, including Kesha, and Nicole Smith, Bobby Brown, Lucy Lou, Coco Austin, Natasha Blasick, and Dan Aykroyd. I've all claimed.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Dan Aykroyd, just like in the movie? That happened in the movie to him. That's a gunman. I swear to God, I think it was in real life. Pretty sure. Pretty sure it was in real life. Can I get another shot of that tequila, please? Aliens are real as well.
Starting point is 00:15:09 Crystal skull vodka. So she goes on to write about the workshop and what happened. Alex, this is for you. Over three days of the workshops, things did indeed clarify themselves. I began automatic writing almost immediately. as we sat down with our candles, pencils in hand. By the end of the first day, I had ten pages of writing that looked more like scribble at first,
Starting point is 00:15:35 but as the pages went along, became clearer and clearer, and in the end, one word stood out from all the others. Ananda. That weekend, I was informed in writing by Ananda, my new group of non-physical teachers that we would be writing a book together and that we had known each other before as friends and seekers in the desert.
Starting point is 00:15:57 I was told many things, but the topic of the book was a bit of a shocker. It was to be the connection between sexual energy and God. I was told the truth of this connection needed to be revealed to help teach everyone that this divine love was blessed and healing, that many of the problems we face today are of guilt and shame we have around sexuality and God. They've warned me that there will be many people who do not like the content of this book, but who will call it blasphemous or evil. but I've decided to go ahead with the public sharing of this material because I believe with all my heart and all my experience that it is true.
Starting point is 00:16:31 So that's where we're coming from. This is like Joan of Arc type shit except just like a porn version of the story. But again, as you see. So wait, so is Ananda like a like a like a collective entity? Apparently that is that is what we're given. But when Ananda speaks, they speak as one. They're like they speak are in control. Like they speak to you as one group.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Like the board. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There is, they have come to gift the, the world, this knowledge, and they're doing it through Tina. So the book and all the stuff in it after the introduction is word from on high from Ananda, beyond space, beyond time, beyond our understanding, trying to really enlighten us is what this is about. You know, I was kind of joking about it before, but like this really does, this is starting to sound like a sexy version
Starting point is 00:19:02 of Promethea by Alan Moore. This is like, this is like actually crazy. Yeah, um, they start by saying that they know what we all know, that like deep down, our world is in a terrible state at the moment. We live on a beautiful planet beset by war, famine, fear. None of it is necessary.
Starting point is 00:19:22 And it's because, misteachings that we are laboring under sort of the problem of giving power to the wrong people in places. The most powerful beings, according to Ananda, are us. And we do not utilize that power at all. We give it up to those who abuse it, is what it's saying. And so they give us this little quote, and this is for math. It's a little short boy.
Starting point is 00:19:49 But it's just a thought. Every thought you possess is a is the seed of fear or love and love will create what you want, while fear will create the mess you have. Oh shit. Follow love through all its pathway to the earth you wish to have. Fear has made the darkness you see, but at any point you may turn around and begin to walk toward the light. We have called ourselves Ananda. The word means bliss, and that is indeed our mission.
Starting point is 00:20:20 in brightest day in blackest night they go on to say that if you listen and are willing to open yourself the love you will find will fill you in a way that no food or drink can and the sex you will have will be so divine that you will not know of the mediocrity or boredom of that bad love the sex Saddle sat you through the day filled with joy and connection that empowers and creates. Sounds good. Bad company song could be. Honestly. Sounds good.
Starting point is 00:20:53 Yeah. Bad love. What you're going to do in those inauthentic relationships that play you through and through. They even go on to say, which I thought was pretty fun is Anand is like, hey, when you're done with this book, don't put it on the bookshelf. Give it to someone else. Fuck it. Let them read it.
Starting point is 00:21:12 spread the knowledge, don't hoard it for yourself. And I was like, well, that's kind of cute. You were like, I must make an episode about this. Ananda.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Any weird dreams after reading the book, Jesse? Any Ananda encounters? No, any strange, like, feelings of like a holy mission that's up to you?
Starting point is 00:21:31 No. No. Okay. Although I did feel a little superiority. I'm not going to lie. Maybe that's why it sold me. Um, the, there's something in this book
Starting point is 00:21:42 where they're basically, like, hey guys, and this is the vibe of the entire text. It's like, this is going to be like most of those spiritual texts or like the, you know, the self-help books or whatever. We're going to try and help you, love yourself, appreciate the world, but also sex. That's the book. And then it's split into different parts. So like part one is how we came to misunderstand sexual energy. And right at the gate the anander like western culture is built on a lie you are promised happiness from material possessions and consumer goods and you think money will bring you happiness companies have conditioned you to think this way society wants you like this trapped and unhappy
Starting point is 00:22:26 perpetually dissatisfied i'm like damn i also kind of agree ananda you don't know you're kind of spitting the crazy thing is oh my god he said you're spitting ananda in this off a little bit like, you know, in Avengers Endgame or Thanos is like, you couldn't live with your own failure and where'd that bring you back to me? Same vibe here. They, Nanda, like, you know things suck. That's why you're reading this book and are open to the truth we're trying to tell you. It's like, damn. You were like at home, like in your house, like, I know, Ananda. Like when Napoleon Dynamites watching that dance video and he's like, yes. This is some of what they have to say for you, Alex.
Starting point is 00:23:12 All the desires you possess within this culture are almost totally dictated to you by the companies that wish to sell you products that you have been taught and convinced you need. The indoctrination is so complete that you cannot imagine that wealth and all the intended possessions will not give you the peace and happiness you so desire with every fiber of your being. All the feelings and emotions that bring you the greatest pleasure are not. in fact caused by anything outside of you. Some would argue this point and insist that a car or a house will bring them happiness, but have you truly looked at your life and the experience of lusting after something or someone? What truly happens when you achieve this most important goal? Either you are not as satisfied as you thought you would be, or you are, but very briefly. And in both instances are on to the next desire, the next thing that will absolutely
Starting point is 00:24:05 make you happy. Damn, she caught me. I just want to say for the record, shout out to Alex and Mathis. I had to type all this stuff from the book. And so I'm looking at some of the spelling errors. I'm like, yikes, bro. Good job reading.
Starting point is 00:24:18 You're doing very well, both of you. I've been prepping by cold reading Reddit posts for 10 years or whatever we'll be doing. Yeah. True. So the Ananda are like, bro, what you don't understand, man,
Starting point is 00:24:32 is that your mind isn't part of your bond. Sure, a brain is, but a mind is not. The mind operates universally and vibrates on a frequency of love. The creator made us out of love and love should be our overriding philosophy with all things. Your brain is your radio antenna, a vibrational spaceship, man, and your body is just your space suit for this realm, my dog. That is 100% the vibe of like, that's what this is.
Starting point is 00:25:04 it is just like every other book that is like this. Yes, you're absolutely correct. The mind connects to everything and everyone. This universal mind contains love and oneness and kindness and beauty. And there are, you know, in this world, there's your mind and then there's the ego mind, which is your more earthly tethered version of your mind. You know, we tap into. to the ego way too much
Starting point is 00:25:35 and that's what keeps us trapped in darkness and fear according to this book. It does kind of feel like a big, fat, nasty tamagachi that weighs more than me. The ego? Just my whole, just my whole situation on this physical realm is just like what? Again?
Starting point is 00:25:52 Taco Bell, seriously? Chili cheese burrito just because it makes you feel like a kid? They didn't even have those in California. What the fuck are you doing? All right. All right. Two more chili cheese burritos, let's do it. You eat that and get a food and happiness bonus? Or just eat food and get food only and not be happy.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Oh, you pooped all over the screen. Well, surprise, surprise, body. Yeah, no, it's literally the way they describe the book is kind of like, there are two quantum wolves in your brain, which one do you feed? Like that kind of vibe. The librarian and the fat piece of shit that eats chili cheese burritos. It's the infinite, you know, philosophical example of the observer. You're having a thought, but who is.
Starting point is 00:26:33 the thoughts. And then you become aware that you're observing your thoughts. And now of a sudden, that person is up front. And you're like, well, now I'm aware of the observer observing the thoughts. Oh, wait. Now I'm going and just goes on. There is no end. Who watches the watchman, dude. You are exactly. Exactly. They go on to say that like, the mind is connected to everyone and everything. But we as humans are not taught this collective experience, which is actually how the world really works. You are told your thoughts and feelings are yours alone. They don't affect others unless acted upon or spoken. But that's not the case. We're all connected. All the vibes are connected. The way you feel connects with other people. And it is an energy that you put out. Um,
Starting point is 00:27:20 this one is for Mathis and Joy. How can people not believe this in a world where the Fleetwood Mac Ocean Spray guy exists? You know, like watching that video. fucking drinking and skating. Like yeah, dude, it was a vibe. Or like, remember the fucking like intruder song? It's climbing in your window. That took over the world. Just because
Starting point is 00:27:43 of just off vibes. Nobody cared about this. It was, yes. I think that's an important note is like you can, you can hear all this stuff and be bullshit the channel and bullshit the whatever. But sometimes like the general message, there's the reason it's in a lot of books because it's generally true.
Starting point is 00:27:59 Yeah. Like there is this like energy that you can walk into a room in a miserable mood and you can bring the energy down just by being in that room and being miserable. It is a bummer. Yeah. It is. Yeah. So anyway, the world does not work the way you have been told by religions and old scientific ways that have been drummed into your confused, gullible minds. God, I love Ananda.
Starting point is 00:28:20 The truth of the matter is that you are responsible for every person, place, and thing you experience in your life in no uncertain terms, good, bad, and indifferent. You are the most powerful creator, endowed with you. the force beyond your comprehension when you were conceived in the mind of the source, endowed with the same creative force that made you. This is the secret that has been kept from many of your, uh, many of you from millennia. Welcome soldier to avalanche. It's interesting too that we're doing this now because I'm working through, we're going to do an episode on the raw material, which is also a very famous channeled source.
Starting point is 00:28:56 I love a channeled source. Yeah. The whole thing's fascinating. like everything that's being said, I can understand why people like I while reading this was like hell yes. Okay. Yes. Definitely yes.
Starting point is 00:29:10 But at the same time like when I like smoked pot for the first time and just like hung out with my four best friends and was talking about like why the world sucks like when George Bush one when George W. Bush was a thing. And we were just like, man. People just like shut the fuck up and chill out, man. Like what the hell is everybody doing? Why are we following all these? rules that were made up so long ago, dude. You know, like, there's nothing here that's like, it's like you were saying in the beginning. It's just like, yeah, dude, like this is, but this is like, yeah, like, this is like
Starting point is 00:29:41 lighter or off type stuff. I already believe, which is why I was like, am I buying into this? You read like, you read like chicken soup for the stoner, like neoliberal soul. Yeah. Um, you're probably wondering, okay, well, then what does any of this have to do with sex? well, the Ananda say sexual energy is spiritual. And that makes things real awkward because the Ananda call out the fact that like in our society, sex is pretty taboo.
Starting point is 00:30:11 Families don't talk about it. You don't, you know, you're shamed into the idea of even having it by society. Feels weird. Yeah, it's weird. It's whispered like it's evil. And the worst part is because families don't have real discussions about sex. We let youth find out from the internet or ill-informed. cohorts, what lovemaking is through pretty sad and distorted forms they say on the computer
Starting point is 00:30:35 screen or via social media. And that's Ananda, once again, calling out modern culture, which I thought was like, okay, that's interesting. I'm pretty sure I was getting top tier sexual recommendations in 10th grade by my best one, Ben. He knew everything. He knew everything. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:50 Your best friend. My best friend, Ben. He taught me everything I need to know to be a sexual master with my kitten and Ben. Oh, boy. God is all energy according to Ananda and sexual energy is a thing it creates life it's a driving force and God was a creator hence it is the closest you will ever get to being like at a God level of energy you're legitimately it is legitimately crazy now that you say that just thinking about how like I'm maybe just because we're like millennials and that's like our curse to be daywalkers of like one timeline to another timeline. But like, like the level of like increasing like not even wokeness,
Starting point is 00:31:37 just like tolerance. Like just nobody gave a fuck what anybody else did. It was like going. And then in 2016 it just like, and now everybody. And now everybody who should be like the most edgy, cool, interesting people are like, they don't want to do anything.
Starting point is 00:31:55 They're like afraid of their for their safety. They don't want to look at anything that makes them breathe too hard. It's crazy. And it's a bit of a simplification, but it is, they don't want to look cringe because everything is recorded. They grew up in a time where camera is in their face 24-7. They can be judged for anything at any point from thousands of people they don't know online. And so when that is the only thing like that freedom is taken from them, they cling to the
Starting point is 00:32:19 only thing that can give them any sort of feeling of purity or being above people, which is prudeness. But children, but children. If that was true, would I have ever done the greenstone? Well, that, I believe, is you are a little more actualized than some people. Yeah, a genius. A genius. An enlightened, an enlightened. Anyway, back to the Ananda.
Starting point is 00:32:41 The Ananda says. Like a seer. Like a... Is Ananda an individual or is Ananda an individual or is Ananda a collective, contemporary of mind? So is raw. Yeah. Ananda say that you can see its strength, sex. You can see its strength and its power.
Starting point is 00:32:57 by what it drives people to do. They'll buy new cars, new clothes, even risk life and limb. So it makes sense that this is where God would be most forcefully expressed in your most repressed, prescribed prohibited behaviors. Like, what a shame it is,
Starting point is 00:33:15 according to them. The most beautiful energy in the universe, which contains so much of the creator, is stopped, plugged, or misdirected into all sorts of strange and terrible manifestations. Do you think that's why so many priests, are like so nasty behind the scenes?
Starting point is 00:33:30 I wouldn't know. Is that like, is that like what the vibe is, is that it's like wrong. It's like misdirected. Like the, like the, all the Christian sex that are out there, sects that are out there
Starting point is 00:33:43 should be having more, uh, tolerance for sex. Sex. So I mean, Christianity is, is one of, of, yes, yeah, agreed. But the God of Christianity is, is that of, of only having sex to procreate.
Starting point is 00:33:57 not as like a sign of love, but it's just a sign of furthering the human species and not anything else. But the Ananda, and I think many would say that. I think so. And we've talked about this, especially from the last guy, but Ananda would say that, uh, that God is not the real God, but the one given to us by people who are trying to control us. He's the cornflakes God. Yeah. They're like, the God that's the no, no masturbation God written about isn't real God. that is a
Starting point is 00:34:27 misinformed version to control people is what it's saying it's important to note to people out there take enough hallucinogenic drugs and you get the same message it's not you don't have to channel anything you just do illicit substances and your brain will like a lot of what this is saying is like weird shit that I've also
Starting point is 00:34:43 experienced on hallucinogenics but I was on drugs and I was aware I was on drugs I also want to just say this is us interacting with this doctrine that is in this book this is not us talking about what's actually happening instead I don't think any of us know what's actually happening to be on it.
Starting point is 00:34:59 Exactly. I'm playing Wolverine on PS5. That's my role. Alex has no clue what's happening. I don't know what's going on, dude. But they literally say, Ananda say straight up that like, if you're religious and you're reading this,
Starting point is 00:35:12 it is only the scared and misinformed mind that fears hellfire and damnation because of sex. So that's where Ananda stands. I'm with the Nanda on that. I stand with Ananda. It solves a lot of these social and cultural problems that people have in the societies dominated by religion.
Starting point is 00:35:30 Yeah. And it's crazy because they, it is a weird statement, I will say, but it's a stretch and I'm just going to tell you what they say. They say that you should love as freely as a dog or cat would love. Dogs and cats love so freely and give you love so willingly that if you could just pretend it to be a dog or cat from time to time and love like they did, life will be better is what they say. Okay, but we're not talking about, we're still, I mean, we're still gentlemen.
Starting point is 00:36:00 We're still, we're still like, you know, we're like if, if cats practiced consent, right? Like we're, no, I mean, I, we're talking about not like sex. Yeah, I think we're talking about, like, emotion love. Yeah, we're not talking about like, and yeah, like go. Pump everything like a dog. I don't know how much. We're talking about emotion and the love that a dog or cat will give you just for existing. Okay, just like unconditional human love.
Starting point is 00:36:27 Yeah, which again, like you'll notice as we go through this, a lot of Jesus stuff. And it's kind of like, interesting. I wonder what Ananda says about that. They say something. Anyway, there's also another part of this that I think is very Mathis. And when I read this, I was like, oh, my God, here we go. Prepare yourself for insanity Mathis or the truth. I'm ready.
Starting point is 00:36:53 I'll tell you with. Your lifetime is actually many lifetimes all at the same time, according to Ananda. We live many varied lives all at the same time. They occur in different dimensions and different timelines, connected and affecting each other all at the same time. Changes you make in this apparent life will affect the others and vice versa. All of it is happening at once. all of it exists, time isn't real. Yeah, I mean, I think I believe time isn't real in the way that we understand time to be real.
Starting point is 00:37:31 We have, we perceive time, but maybe like it's block universe style where everything does exist all at once in consciousness is a linear progression through it in the most fucking layman-esque way to like describe it. It's still, even if even if it's like really hard to like wrap your mind around the logic of it, you can imagine a like time. branching time as a physical space. Yeah, you can. You can imagine that as a thing. You can imagine the idea of traveling around a timeline physically, kind of like zipping around. We always talk about the centipede with a million,
Starting point is 00:38:07 bajillion legs. That's your body, just like doing everything and where it splits off. You can at least sort of wrap your mind around that, right? Yeah. And you can see how like, if that all happens at once and you think about it as a YouTube video player, you can kind of choose your,
Starting point is 00:38:22 own YouTube video player. So are you ready for the next level? Yeah. Yes. Okay. You might be wondering, well, why? Why are we all these different things at the same time? Well, you were conceived in the lifetime you think is your only existence by your higher
Starting point is 00:38:41 self, your oversaw, which is this energetic being that planned each and every one of its possibly hundreds of simultaneous, simultaneous births throughout time and space. That's where maybe she loses me. Hold on. Hold on. This is the quote for you, Mathis. An oversaw planning all these lifet. You are multifaceted mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspect of a far larger
Starting point is 00:39:11 self that is collecting, experiencing, proving, and disproving theories about existence by manifesting into many life forms, times, and places to maximize experience. This creates an influx of information for the oversoul to integrate, learn, and even unlearn all that it needs to create more and more blissful experiences. So maybe that's your own Ananda that you're becoming like your own collective experience. Maybe. Like the implication is that your life path, what you're doing right now, everything that is happening to you was chosen for you before you're born as a test for you to overcome in this life. and gain knowledge from. And your oversaw basically picked and chose for you everything that is happening.
Starting point is 00:39:58 And the life you're given, your existence, it's literally just like all the curveballs in your life as an example. That information is directed back to the oversaw, be it good or bad, whatever you did, and informs them on a better path to make a blissful experience. Wait, so I'm a hero? Basically. You are, you are on your, own quest. Your life is a quest and everything that you are doing in your life is experience points
Starting point is 00:40:28 for- I'm a rogue-like. I'm the binding. Yeah. Yeah. That's a great way to look at it. Be it good or bad, you are gaining overall experience. You're incrementally gaining experience. I'm trying. Life is a mystery dungeon and I'm Torneko. Yeah. It's true. Yeah. I love, I like this take a little bit. I don't like I don't think I like the oversawed thing might be a step too far. But there is that I do have this. I think belief that like the universe as vast and infinite as it is is trying to like experience itself. It's trying to understand itself in that way. And the only way to do it is to experience every possible facet, every possible like algorithmic branch that there possibly is.
Starting point is 00:41:08 Not to inform an oversole of my higher self, but just to feed back into reality and feedback in itself. Because even like we got this woo version of it where it's like, it's just over this God's soul, whatever, that's trying to experience itself. But even in the physicist or physical kind of aspect, if you think about it in the most reductionist way, the universe, we are all made of atoms and shit that have been around since the beginning of time. Sure. That have been compressed, collected, heated, and given it a spark of electricity enough so
Starting point is 00:41:36 that we, the universe wake up inside itself. So everything is you. Everything is you sort of also. Yeah, in that weird, weird way. But like being the universe that wakes up inside itself, even on like a scientific level, quote unquote, not to inform itself, but just this, we are. We are just atoms in the universe waking up. Marble and DC both have a guy like this.
Starting point is 00:41:55 Yeah, so you guys know. Really quickly then. Like what, Ananda? No, that is a universe experiencing itself from the inside. Yeah, and that's, and that's so like the Ananda say that since there are possibly hundreds or thousands of your fragments all over space and time, running their lives and reporting back at the same time, much like what you just said, you are both. Made by the oversaw and growing it, you are the oversole and informing the oversole.
Starting point is 00:42:27 So you aren't going back to the roguelike thing, you aren't just a character. You are, you are the you playing the game and the character in the game. They're the save file. We're the guy. We're like the fucking guy that it's like X99 right now. like they're the they're the save that has the fucking number of badges on it that you've won by however many runs you've made and and our bodies are the little the marios we're in the timeline where we earn our oversaw the podcast badge yeah yeah exactly we learn so i'm i'm isaac everything we're doing every wacky thing in our life so to be clear the united say we are energy we are powerful and all the energy we have is connected to the source, be that God or whatever.
Starting point is 00:43:17 And we are this like, you know, there isn't a, there isn't like a guy somewhere that's the oversole. The oversole is everywhere. It's like a bunch of jokers at the top. And then you like like how much money so that it's Bellatro. We're all over the place, right? Like they. Oh, everywhere.
Starting point is 00:43:38 And so that connects us back to the source, back to God. Um, but we are temporarily as part of the deal trapped in this physical world and the connection to our energy to that of the source. It can be channeled in different ways, but it's not something that we operate normally in. We operate in the physical, not in the energetic. Uh, but we've always had it. It sleeps like Mathis was saying in the base of your spine waiting for you to use it. However, this kundalini, this delicious pasta. accessing this power is not something you should try in a whim.
Starting point is 00:44:16 The best way I can think of describing this is literally when Stanley Tucci in Captain America, the first Avenger is like it makes a good person great and a bad person worse. It makes a super serum. That's this. A bad person worse. Yes. Trust me, I'm Stanley Tucci. It is that thing where to begin the transformation to really unlock the power of this energy,
Starting point is 00:44:39 you need to let go of your ego mind, right? The energies of the kundalini, according to them, the energies of the kundalini awaken and enhance all that you are. And yes, if there is some less than stellar attributes that you possess, these two will be exaggerated. Imagine your fears made larger, your hatred's magnified, and your sickness allowed to feed on endless energy. These are the consequences that can arise if you rush this.
Starting point is 00:45:06 You know how like Gerard's, not Gerard, Jafar's genius, like when he becomes the like genie at the end and he like makes the like he like gets the chains on his wrists yeah yeah he like realizes that he doesn't have what it takes to be a genie yet and he like ran into it and he got bodied because he was just same thing yeah you will you'll end up with a skull face yeah if you if you get a little crazy yeah yeah in both cases they were red just putting it out there yeah and then there's return of jafar too so like be careful watch out. You don't know. The genie has a different voice. It's crazy. Yeah. But then the regular
Starting point is 00:45:42 genie eventually does come back. Yeah, yeah. But the dad. Along with Aladdin's dad. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What about Shazam? You know, same thing. Exact same thing. Shazam? Yeah. We don't talk about him anymore. He lost it. Shazam. Shazam went too far and down, down a rabbit hole that we don't go down anymore. He's, he's dead
Starting point is 00:46:00 to us now. It's time to recast Flynn Ryder. That's all I'm saying. Thank you so much to Hero Forge for sponsoring today's episode. If you already know me, you know I have a tabletop RPG problem. I just love working with HeroForge in general. So when they came more like Skycastle games showed me what they were building, got a little excited for it. It's called Wild Magic Frontier, and it's a character-driven deck-building skirmish RPG that runs right in your browser, literally nothing to install or download and stuff.
Starting point is 00:46:28 And you can import your own HeroForge Mini, yeah, the actual custom minis you built, or pick from a roster of pre-made heroes, Then customize your deck and step into fractured world to carve out your own path through it. You can play solo, team up with two up to two friends and build your party together. Co-op is genuinely one-click and you just share a link straight from the browser. The game has some real depth. You forge friendships and complete quest to build a roster of companions. You go your own frontier town as you go, unlocking new characters and adventures, some mechanics.
Starting point is 00:46:59 And combat is this fast-paced skirmish system where the movement physics actually have some weight to them. feels tactile and real instead of just like numbers ticking on a screen. Every expedition you delve deeper, the Wild Magic gets more volatile and more powerful, and you come back with hard-earned rewards. Curating a deck and it builds with real synergies, that's exactly the kind of thing I lose hours to. If this sounds like something you're interested, head over to wildmagic.com to learn more and follow the Kickstarter page
Starting point is 00:47:27 so you get notified when it launches. That's Wildmagic.com. Head over there, follow the Kickstarter page so you know when it goes. live. The book goes into kind of what is at the core of this, and that is that the human ego has this schizophrenic relationship with the body, alternately treating it as both like a prison of decay, but also an idol to be worshipped. It's this weird conflict that fuels all sorts of destructive obsessions that people have, like yo-yo-diting, addictions. Eating liver. touching the ground with your feet.
Starting point is 00:48:08 Like all sorts of stuff. It's too much. And it says it's because the ego fundamentally fears the body's mortality. To unlock your energy and wake up from all this, you need to redefine your body as a vehicle, which is just like what you guys were talking about before. That's heaven's game. Shit. Brother, it's a space suit for the starship inside your radio mind, my brother.
Starting point is 00:48:33 Okay. And if you don't get that, you don't play enough VR video games, brother. It is a vehicle that is about how you move, communicate, et cetera, but it's not you. Ananda are like, the minute you decide to see yourself as more than just a body, the mind relinquishes all these harsh judgments, emotional, like eating as an example, subsides, overall health improves your body can fulfill. Finally, it's proper balanced purpose. And that when you're playing, think about how when you're playing the binding of Isaac
Starting point is 00:49:05 and your little guy dies and you're watching him die and you're not dead and you're fine. And then another you appears and you're just out here thinking about how separate you are from the little guy. That's crazy, right? I mean, it is. You're right. That's pretty crazy.
Starting point is 00:49:25 This metaphor, I just, it's so good. It's so, stop. And it says, Anand is like, let's talk death really quick. You fear it. Love it. And it's because the ego sees it as a terrifying loss of physical identity and earthly attachments.
Starting point is 00:49:41 But the most spiritually inclined people in your world are the ones who approach death as another adventure and one that can't possibly be understood. So why even bother trying? What is that from? What is that from? Death is the next, but the next great adventure. What is that? Oh, the mummy.
Starting point is 00:50:00 something. The mummy? Yeah. Oh, you're, come on. That can't be the, that doesn't sound like what the mummy would say. They don't, but it's, but I think it's like death is only the beginning or something like that. They have one of those. Yeah, yeah. Um, death is the vacation of forever. Death seems, death is chill. Love the mummy. Yeah. I like being dead. Love the mummy. Yeah. One and two. Classics. But basically, like, those people that are, that are open to being more spiritual have recognized that the world's material reality is kind of the thing holding you back. It makes you scared. It gives you fear. And only by letting go can you unlock the power within you. And fear is only made worse when earthly religions portray God as vengeful and project human guilt onto his love.
Starting point is 00:50:50 These historical distortions, according to Ananda, are by organized religions for the sake of control and have caused cultures to suppress sexual expression, missing the pure message of unconditional love. I also think, like, obviously approaching this as though it was real. I also think religions are there to help kind of compartmentalize and help people accept that there's some sort of come up as for bad people. We got a lot of other stuff going on now where we can like share information and knowledge in a like frank and straightforward way where like, I think from a,
Starting point is 00:51:26 survival perspective, you know, religions came from like nomadic people that like, you know, like needed a doctrine to like help each other stay hang tough and like, be safe in the world, right? I think now and now, though, especially though, like, you know, it's hard to live in a world. Like according to this doctrine, if we were to like believe it, serial killers are just a life that helps feed their oversaw. And there's no real comeuppance for a serial killer when death is, when death happens. They don't go to hell.
Starting point is 00:51:56 They don't get punished on all this other stuff. They are just like everybody else, victim and otherwise, an information node for this over soul to learn from. And I think that's hard. There's a level that, and understandably, that's hard to accept because we as humans like a story where there's good, bad, a punishment equal to people's actions. When in reality, the universe is much more chaotic and less caring than that. But isn't it bad to impact by.
Starting point is 00:52:25 choice, the journey of someone else's oversole body radio space suit. But according to the this, that that was planned by the oversaw their death from a serial killer. So to be clear, it isn't like a predetermination, you know, biblical God thing like calmitism. It's straight up just like a bunch of ops like it's basically imagine a game where you build the dungeon and then you send a guy in to face the dungeon. Okay. So it's not, it's not the binding of Isaac.
Starting point is 00:52:58 It's, it's Saros. We're doing, we're doing like risk reward. Yeah. We are, we are the guy and we are making the choices, but we also have set up all the obstacles in our way.
Starting point is 00:53:12 And we can either, we go like hard mode, one's death mode, whatever. The crazy killer or we can go a different way. Right. And you, it's how you,
Starting point is 00:53:21 you know, there it's about overcoming obstacles and sometimes you fail right sometimes maybe you kill the maybe you just work at the kFC and sometimes there's a version of you where you murder a bunch of people with kFC money you know what i mean you grease every possible wheel with kFC that you possibly can't yeah he would have been like he's a great clown in one timeline that's what i'm saying like that's what the like and that was the potential was there for that according to this but another path was taken and that feedback was given. But I think you're right, Mathis, is that it is kind of hard to accept the idea.
Starting point is 00:53:56 And they'll get into it. They're like, you got to practice forgiveness and being positive. Like, let's do that. So I do kind of agree that worrying about whether or not somebody else is getting punished for something that I already know I shouldn't do. I do kind of feel strongly that I shouldn't care about that too much. Like I'm very like, like when I think about what's right, you know what I mean, a case is easily made to like respect everyone and you know the idea what I think it's kind of a
Starting point is 00:54:25 jesus the idea of like well you did that but that doesn't matter I'm still going to be Jesus back you know what I mean I'm still that's that's what they're getting at yeah that's the vibe that same dude yeah yeah different son different type of son but yeah different yeah so they say true transformation is about shifting faith from the conventions of man how we see faith to this unseen force in the universe, one that is incredibly positive. And the best way to do that is by every day making the choice to apply a positive mindset to overcome all the little bullshit in life. You must fake it until you make it, essentially.
Starting point is 00:55:12 And if you have little quibbles or whatever, ignore that shit. embrace what life offers as a positive. So, like, it's an example. They say that here in the West, we have a lack of mentality. Basically, what we think about is we don't have enough of this. So we missed out on that or we wish we could do this. Rather than look at all the cool things that happened to us during the day or things that we enjoy, we focus on like, oh, I saw someone on vacation on Instagram and I wish that could have been me, right?
Starting point is 00:55:42 that leads to problems in not just your daily life, but in the way you expose who you are to others in this sort of unconditional love way, it hampers that. It prevents that from happening because you're so caught up in this lack of mentality that it breeds hypercriticism, resentment, you tear down your partnerships with people with, you know, lovers or friends or whatever.
Starting point is 00:56:07 And you're constantly looking for perceived shortfalls because you're so caught up in this like bullshit of life. So basically what you're saying is that like your own experience is kind of yours to create in a way. And it doesn't really matter whether or not the, the sort of tone you're going with is like based on reality or not because really like you're the one there who's creating the experience and you kind of have to just at some point decide. your own criteria, right? That's what you're going to say.
Starting point is 00:56:44 Literally all the times you've heard people say like, you know, if, like Michael Jackson, if you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change. That's literally this. This is, it's like straight up, this is, if you are trying. And don't get cut up with pageantry and doing it, doing it the right way or doing it a particular. There are bad people in the world and they do bad things. but your job is to put out good vibes into the world to counterbalance that and not get caught up and what terrible people are doing be caught up in the positivity you're creating and others will
Starting point is 00:57:24 gravitate to you and then they will be positive like that's what they're genuinely like i just says it i'm sure this may be there's like the examples we all have but like just me being like I'm in therapy. And when I moved to Texas, friends of mine that I made here weren't in therapy. They continually engaged with me about what my therapy was like because they had this very preconceived notion. You know who's in therapy now? All my friends live around in Texas.
Starting point is 00:57:50 It's that kind of thing where it's just like, yeah, you don't realize what your presence can do in a group of people, especially if you are further along a healing path, like with yourself and working on yourself than they are because you give them an end point that they can visibly see even if you don't realize that's what you're doing and that shahousen reverberates into the world in ways you can never because now what's what are their positive vibes going to do right like it's it's a fucking it's a positivity virus now they're healing now the people around them that you might not hang out with are going to get that kind of like positive vibes who knows if it'll change anything but that is exactly what the message is and all
Starting point is 00:58:30 these weird new ways it's not really whether about whether you're actually controlling the outcome it's just about like your relationship to the events and the outcome can be positive or negative. Yes. Yes. It's pretty much up to you. Yeah. I hope everybody's smoking a bunch of weed for this episode because that is what this is for. But that's like what's crazy is that is none of this is new. And if anything, it's pretty Jesusy. Like there have been people throughout history that have said, hey man, be better. Treat people nice. Be good to people. And if they're assholes like turn the other cheek, walk away. You don't need those people. Like there's. it's this is nothing new and it's crazy this isn't a book literally titled making love to god
Starting point is 00:59:10 we're not even at that yet this is most of the book is this right like yeah there's a whole section literally about forgiveness it's like in order to unlock your best self in order to get this energy you need to learn to forgive in fact that's how you start they're like if you're trying to go on this path to unlock the energy and not have the darkness inside you and make like an evil version of you. Forgive. Just learn to forgive. They even say this. This is for Mathis, since this is this thing you brought up earlier. Many of you will scream at this and say, we cannot go around forgiving rapists and murderers,
Starting point is 00:59:43 but that is not what we are asking of you. We're asking you to stop judging your partners, your children, your co-workers and yourselves. We're asking you to stop the frequent judgments you all wash yourselves with at every moment of the day. Forgive the rude cashier. Forgive the car that cuts in front of you. Forgive yourself for not achieving all the goals your ego-driven culture has for you and learn to be at peace. I kind of dig that. I 100% agree with this.
Starting point is 01:00:08 This is like when that like, remember those like super cuts of like music video of Superman? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Lex Luthor, you don't know what it is to be your fucking man.
Starting point is 01:00:20 You fucking dig it. What the fuck, bro? You gotta be nice. Stupid ass. Yeah. Like, it's funny because that's like
Starting point is 01:00:28 literally the Bible type stuff. You know what I mean? it's the same stuff. It's just it doesn't sick. It doesn't matter how you get there is my point. No, 100%. The thing is there have been teachers throughout history and all sorts of religions that have the exact same vibe. The problem is, and I think that's what either Tina or Ananda, no judgments, is picking up on that it's the organizations that have corrupted the message of these true teachings and use them for whatever purpose they have, rather than
Starting point is 01:00:59 the reality of just like if we were all kinder and more patient with each other, the world will be a significantly better place. And it's so simple. It just is so simple. Yeah, it's just about you have to be the one to like, I don't want to say pull the trigger, but you have to make the choice. Like it won't just come to you. It's like the secret behind every religion is like, and this is like not me trying to like speak
Starting point is 01:01:23 from any specific religious perspective, but like it's like God is not real asterisk. like it's like once you decide once you are in a religion you have to realize the point of the religion is to like give you this larger relationship with something rather than getting caught up in the like fucking lore of the religion i don't know how to like say that in a respectful way but you know what i mean like i feel like i feel like a lot of this stuff that they're saying here like with you know it's not about rapists and murderers it's about your neighbors is it's like you're getting you're missing the larger point because you're focusing on the basic rules of the game like we're we're trying to learn the board game just let's play it let's play it like let us mess up
Starting point is 01:02:06 like let's play the fucking board game yeah what i mean yes and in that like too it's like the lesson is like at the end of the day if this is all like what it is like to be good and kind the lesson should be go play yeah life is about going and playing and being kind and just like enjoy it and stop taking everything so motherfucking serious don't be afraid yeah it's also how you play The Ananda are like, look, if someone is being a dick, spouting off nonsense, complete asshole, instead of trying to get an argument or to try and express your opinion and prove them wrong and shout down someone who's disagreeable, the absolute truth requires no validation or loud defense. Instead, step back from the argument, relinquish the need to be right.
Starting point is 01:02:50 Instead, focus on your inner peace, protect your intimate relationships from corrosive stuff. And literally you don't need to argue with the person who clearly just wants to fight. Walk away. It only does you harm. They get a joy out of being an ass that you are you are literally letting them ruin your day. You don't need to interact with them. You owe them nothing. Like that's what they're saying.
Starting point is 01:03:14 And I was like, yeah, all right, preach. Or if you or if you have to interact with somebody, like if your life is forcing you, like if you're like, you know, out of fucking cash register, there's like two ways you can go, right? you know what I mean? There's like there's always two ways to handle somebody who's who's being just a little bit extra like who needs to just shift down and you know, I don't know. There's one way to do it that's you ship them down.
Starting point is 01:03:38 Like that's I one time I was picking up my laundry from the dry cleaner and there's like a watch store next to the dry cleaner and there was some dude in his huge SUV sitting there smoking a cigar listening to like Coca-Gabana music or some shit. And he was, you know, sitting there windows down just laughing to himself. I picked up my laundry, went to my car, backed up, drove away. Two seconds later, he's chasing after me on the road. And he's honking and freaking out. So I pull over.
Starting point is 01:04:04 I'm like, and he gets like runs out of his car. He's like an older man, runs out, gets up to my window and it's like, you hit my car. You hit my. I was like, no, I guarantee you I didn't hit your car, sir. I didn't like, my thing has one of those beep things. I would have known if I was even, it didn't beep once. Not even like a far away beep. And I was like, I'll get out.
Starting point is 01:04:24 let's take a look at the cars. Let's see if there's any damage. Meanwhile, this is in traffic, by the way. There are cars going around us. And I was like, let's take a look.
Starting point is 01:04:32 And I just turn the temperature down. And he came in hot. And by the end, he was like, have a good day. It is like Superman. You know what I mean? It is.
Starting point is 01:04:42 Yeah. Or it's like a Jedi. Or it's like Spider-Man or it's like fucking, I don't know, some fucking cool. I could have answered him the way he answered me. I didn't hit your damn car. You,
Starting point is 01:04:54 shit like I could have come at him and been like you're stupid like you're clearly an insane person or you're just so bored you're looking for a fight but instead I was like it's unwise no man it's like it's all good let's look at the car it's fine let's figure it's out there's no damage I didn't hit you we're good have a great day you know like hope this wasn't you know the start of a bad day hope the rest of the day is great I just that's all it takes is really just changing your mindset I mean I've even talked about it before like back in 2017. I literally had a health scare where they were like,
Starting point is 01:05:28 you're too stressed, man. And I had to actively change my mindset and be like, there's some things I can control and some things I can't. And if I can't control it, I'm letting it go. I'm not even going to worry about it. People have to also realize, like changing your mindset like that is a fucking concentrated effort.
Starting point is 01:05:43 It requires work. Yeah. Yeah, you can't just be like, and that's how, no, you have to actively fight your brain. And even when it doesn't feel true, do it anyway, because eventually your brain is stupid. you do it enough and eventually your brain switches at some point and you're like oh okay now I now it does
Starting point is 01:05:59 understand changing it is like convincing yourself that that you didn't used to do it another way yeah like you have to like make it the way you auto do it and then you got it yeah and i think the ananda hit me in another place that i was like yeah no i feel that which is they were like trust just trust and believe in positivity and love and they're like yeah sometimes you may get hurt but if you embrace love, others who, you know, are around you, will see that by showing
Starting point is 01:06:31 you know, true inner strength according to them lies in total defenselessness. It disarms the ego, it opens the heart. All these psychological shields exist because we're afraid and fear is tied to your ego. And you cannot become self-actualized and access your inner energy
Starting point is 01:06:49 if you are afraid. And so you have to lay the shield down and establish harmonious connections, which could potentially get you hurt by people who have ill intent. And they're like, oh, it will. A hundred percent. And they're like, but that's the thing is it isn't you didn't hurt you. That person did. And that's on them, not you. And so you shouldn't, you know, it's one of those, uh, I forgive you, but I won't forget like either plenty of people my life that have hurt me. And I've been like, all is forgiven, but I'm not going to be your friend. You know what I mean? Like, we're not going to work together. We're not going to like, I forgive you. I hope you
Starting point is 01:07:23 have a wonderful life. We're not enemies. Our story has ended. You know what I mean? Yeah. It's love. It's like a loving sort of decision. It's like not a bitter.
Starting point is 01:07:34 Loving yourself decision. It's so letting go of that stuff is so freeing. I cannot. Like not ignoring the book. Letting go of past like people who have hurt you and just been like, I'm over it. We're good. I forgive you. Go.
Starting point is 01:07:51 I hope you find a better way. forward. I'm out. Or even more extreme. Or even more extreme. Like what, you know, Tom Hardy? Like, do you see that interview with him recently where the kid asked him like, what do you, like, what do you hate more of this animal or this animal? And he was like, you know what? I don't hate any animal. I like everything that's alive and sentient the same. And I treat everything with love and even stuff that comes right at me and it's trying to get me. I like hit it back with love. Like I am like expressing love even as I hit it back and assert myself, I like beat this shit out of it only, only ever with love, which is like, I think something that people who
Starting point is 01:08:33 don't have a very complicated life don't understand. I think there's like, like if you're like a farmer or something like that or you have to like murder a bunch of livestock, you know, every once in a while, there's like a different level of love that is there that's like that's hard to understand if you don't have to exhibit it that often. Yeah. You know, like you might not, it might not occur to you to like give love in those types of situations unless you have something like that in your life. And I think that's an interesting, even more extreme version of it where you can still keep that same headspace. Some of the most loving people out there who are in this mindset are probably some of the people who have went through some of the worst shit. imaginable. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:09:16 Genuinely. Like trauma will breed two type of people, people who are utterly broken and will pass that trauma around generationally or the people who will come out the other end, like no more like this. Superheroes or their parents. Yeah. Exactly. And that though is the oversaw thing. It's like it put all these struggles in front of you and then, all right, are you A or B when you come out the other side? And that's and you're just like, that's what it is according to Ananda, it's this sort of like, you are constantly testing yourself. And honestly, even though it sounds crazy, there's something weirdly comforting about the idea of everything is a test for you. And it makes me almost want to be like, fuck them tests. I'm going to pass this shit. I'm going to
Starting point is 01:10:05 get a trick. I ain't going to trick me up with my own dungeon. The idea of this applying to sex also is very interesting too. I like that. too because it solves a lot of the world's problems pretty quick. Mm-hmm. Well, okay. So all of this is leading, of course, to sex, right? All this, this, it's like this conduit for teaching, this idea of positive thinking, this idea of all this inner forgiveness.
Starting point is 01:10:32 It's leading to a transformed view of sex and sexual energy. So you've been told your whole life that deep spiritual faith means suppressing sex. It's sinful. It's dirty. it's used just to make kids. Overcoming this barrier requires recognizing that authentic spiritual evolution does not require suppressing human passion, but rather elevating it. Sexual unions can be physical, but that is the ego mind, and that's not where we're at,
Starting point is 01:11:03 baby. We're trying to reach something more. So when approached with sacred awareness, sexual union acts as a bridge directly to human consciousness with the divine. And reclaiming that allows you to connect with not only the source, but the oversaw, your partner, your partner's experiences, this transcendent bliss that when done correctly, heal psychological wounds and revitalizes physical well-being. And it's not, and it's not physical. It is sex. I mean, like they're saying that we'll get to it. Basically, if you're trying to fuck and like get off quick, like, if your goal during sex,
Starting point is 01:11:43 is to like orgasm, you're doing it wrong. Right. Yes. Okay. So if you take a picture of this, it's still sex. It's just, it's just earnest sex. We will get to it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:58 So, you know, you need to essentially get all the bullshit in your head out of your head. Is the step one, right? Then step two is looking at your partner, whoever that may be, and realizing that like, you're sexy, your partner sexy, you're both beautiful in this universe of energy, it doesn't matter if you have a scar or belly fat or whatever. Embrace the moment because the two of you are about to share something special that is universal love, this unconditional love. But you're probably wondering, Jesse, how can I achieve this great sex?
Starting point is 01:12:41 Well, step one. Embrace the gentleness of everyday love to soften rigid armor protecting a fragile ego. So literally doing something nice for your partner, being around, little small moments of appreciation, just creating a stable foundation. And this could be your, oh, this is my wife, my girlfriend. This could be the person you met two weeks ago. This could be your hookup, whatever. but being more than just like we meet and fuck.
Starting point is 01:13:13 This is, it's like if you want to get on this level, you need to make sure that what you're doing is creating spiritual intimacy beyond the idea of like, I stick my dick and think. So this is like the book that they're reading that gives like hippie chicks, the reputation of being like good lovers, like crazy in the sack hippie girls is that they're just like practicing love,
Starting point is 01:13:36 like universal love with their bodies. It's what the 60s hippies hippies should have been. I'm sure some of them were high enough that this is exactly what they were. I think they were. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:13:46 I think they kind of were. And then I think we've learned, you know, like a lot of the flawless ideas for society that maybe there might not be a way to do that. You know what I mean? There's also an interesting, there's a whole segment in this book
Starting point is 01:13:59 where it talks about, um, sacrifice and how sacrifice as a concept is taught to us in the wrong way. And I just wanted, this is a, every once in a while, we'll dive back into religion. And this is one about the church that I thought would be interesting for Mathis. You see, you have been taught to sacrifice by the church and through the image of the crucified body of the suffering Christ that permeates your culture. Even if you do not go to church or no longer believe in these tales of torture, there is a deeply ingrained belief in the value of sacrifice in your culture. You hear it many times, particularly about love, which is our subject.
Starting point is 01:14:36 So we will delve into this aspect of divine love and sexual connection so that we can excavate the truth of love's definition and characteristics. So you will not get confused, we will clarify what sacrifice is. Simply put, it is giving up something you want so that someone else can have what he or she wants and said. Simple enough, is it not? This is the root cause of so much pain and sadness in your culture. Yet you do not see it because you do not understand how the world is manifested, and you do not understand that the culture of sacrifice has been perpetrated intentionally to keep you disconnected from your own power and your ability to tap into the endless source
Starting point is 01:15:13 that is your connection to God. It's basically the plot of Godzilla minus one. I haven't seen it, but I'll trust you. Now, you want to say that if you were out there and you wanted to keep a population disempowered, you would teach them that passion is evil and disconnection from it is virtuous. and organized religions of the world have been trying to control you. And again, they use Jesus as an example here. This is for Alex.
Starting point is 01:15:42 So cringe is just the latest sciop? Yeah, bro. The algorithm produces cringe. That's crazy. Christ's teachings were the truth. The knowledge you need is within what he taught, not in the traditions and hierarchy of the conventional church. He taught that the peace of mind achieved through forgiveness and non-judgment would bring you
Starting point is 01:16:02 to the kingdom of heaven. which was within. He did not suggest you seek outside of yourself in structures and dogmas that emphasized your sinfulness, but he encouraged you to value yourself and others equally, seeking that which was kind and good. The idea of sacrifice was not his at all. He suggested a life of internal work, forgiveness of all, and generosity of spirit that guaranteed a wealth of a different sort. Yeah, I guess, like, it wasn't the point of his sacrifice also so that, like, we literally didn't have to do it. Like, wasn't that the whole point?
Starting point is 01:16:37 Was that he like forgave our like sins? Like he like did it on our behalf. Like he made the ultimate sacrifice. It's a love situation. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. And the point of love,
Starting point is 01:16:47 the nanda say is that it's not sacrifice. If you're sacrificing for love as an example, perhaps doing so to gain the approval of the person you love, then you are resentful of the feelings of not being appreciated or loved. when you do something for love, you should do it because it's authentic love, and it operates without scorekeeping, loss, or self-deprecation, and offering care freely from an overflow of inner abundance, right? Feels so easy to do this.
Starting point is 01:17:17 Yeah, like releasing sacrifice in favor of mutual joy transforms intimate partnerships, according to them, into vehicles for mutual spirit elevation. So literally, it's the same thing when you talk about relationships and it's like, you know, it's got to be 50, 50, 50. you give and take it's like, no, no, 100, 100. No. You're both rolling in complete people and you just like being with each other, not you're trying to fix something in them and they're trying to fix it in you and you're
Starting point is 01:17:40 going to work on it. Like, you're excited to hang out. Yeah. How many of us, we've all been. And maybe you're listening to this and you are in this right now. But how many of us have been in a relationship where one or both of you score keeps?
Starting point is 01:17:51 Like tabs on like what someone did wrong or when somebody didn't do this for me or whatever. Right. Right. Within just maybe a couple years, it's going to be insurmountable amount of problems. classic like middle school type like legislation you know exactly and the anandise say the worst part is that people frequently attempt to control fix or change their partners family members and environments while ignoring their own internal state the outward focus hypervigilance is a defense
Starting point is 01:18:19 mechanism designed to avoid looking at all of your own unhealed wounds which is which is super real it's true it is it's super real yeah again like going back back to what you were saying at the beginning, nothing groundbreaking about this. Yeah. But like the fact that we're going to apply it to like full bore, unrestrained sex that's full of love is next to godliness is pretty funny. Yeah. It's very much like there used to be an old.
Starting point is 01:18:50 I don't know if anyone does this anymore, but there used to be that test where it's like write down all the things you're looking for in a partner, maybe like 10 things you're looking for in a partner. And then when they had done that, the test giver would be like, okay, now how many of those things do you have? And it's like before you try to date a hot fitness instructor with a million dollars, maybe you should work on becoming a person, a hot fitness instructor with a million dollars who want to date.
Starting point is 01:19:12 Yeah. What's the movie? The field of dreams, right? If you build it, they will come. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. To appreciate true beauty. Shallow hell, that's not quite the message.
Starting point is 01:19:24 No, not of that one. To appreciate true beauty and see it in everything and every one, you once again must forgive. Forgiveness is the essential key to all of this, they say. It is the mechanism that dissolves the barriers, keeping beauty and love from your awareness. By viewing human errors as innocent mistakes rather than malicious sins, individuals free their minds and restore their vision of universal perfection.
Starting point is 01:19:49 Again, this is going to lead you to being hurt, right? And they're like, yeah, all right, then be hurt. Learn the lesson and don't let it destroy your love for the world, which is a very huge. almost almost without exception. If you think take any person who's been malicious to you, malicious on any way, you can trace it back to a broken hurt person who didn't heal the right way.
Starting point is 01:20:14 Right. Whether it be child who didn't receive the love they needed as a kid or the attention or whatever, something happened to them in their youth or their young adulthood. Whatever the case is, almost every person who's a terrible person can be traced back to them, not being given the positive fucking energy that, They needed and they could have been. The person they could have been has just been left in the dust.
Starting point is 01:20:34 The difference between zoo animals and animals in the wild is that the ones in the wild are not pretty. They are like slightly fucked up and have been ill and have like been bit and shit. You know what I mean? But they're free. It's just that like it's a wild thing that like our own society has taught us that you deserve never to experience any sort of unexpected hardship. it's uh the relationship the relationship we have to it is uh it really makes it hard it's like it's like how they say that in like really like societies that work really well like when things like the trains being late like make people go nuts because they're not used to like things going
Starting point is 01:21:17 wrong like you need that sort of resilience to like make it through the world i feel duality and everything you can't have one without the other you don't understand joy without pain and it it extends until like if you were joyous for eternity at what point would joy cease being joy and being the only thing you ever knew it's also like file fancy 14 it's also explains why hell doesn't work as a concept because an eternity in hell at what point in eternity of hell have you been in hell longer than you've been alive to the point where you don't even remember being alive because you've been in hell for a million years and you were alive for 80 like you need the duality you can't have one without the other growing up in trauma is the same way if you grow up in all traumatic traumatic house you don't realize that's not normal until you get out of it. So you're patching hell to add like one really nice year every like thousand years? That's the only way. It's the only way how it's like there's one really nice day that's paradise.
Starting point is 01:22:09 It's a good balance patch. Like seriously like you need it. At what point does hell stop being problematic? It's the only thing you fucking know. But yeah, the duality and everything. You cannot have only good things because without the bad things you don't get to grow. When you don't get to your definition of joy doesn't change into being a more complex nuanced understanding of what joy is because joy is also can be uncomfortable,
Starting point is 01:22:31 especially for somebody who's never experienced joy in your life. You think joy should be comfortable and happiness should be comfortable. But when all you're comfortable and content with is trauma and unease in emergency situations, joy and peace feels like a wrong pair of pants. It doesn't feel right. It's getting so bad that it's like the thing that kicks it off is like not anything. It's like not even hardship anymore. It's like, I didn't like that.
Starting point is 01:22:56 thing that I watched like it's like oh this happened to me like it's like it's like we don't there's no more understanding of like what it's like to like get punch in the face for example that's I know I have a friend who name names not included but that like won't watch difficult movies because they don't want to feel the difficult feelings and it's just like I get the I get the notion of not wanting to do that I get it but it's like you're you're probably driving yourself. I think that putting yourself through stuff knowingly is like, that's what Jesse was just saying about overcoming fear, dude. Like you putting yourself through a situation you don't want to put yourself through is overcoming a fear. It's a fear. And it allows you to grow and
Starting point is 01:23:42 face something you weren't familiar with and walk away a more complex individual. But I think I would also say that if you let's, I mean, like you could do your movie thing with your friend, but also, So I don't like liver. How do I know I don't like liver? You tried it. I tried it and was like, not for me. And now I could have looked at it and been like, that's gross and then never given a shot.
Starting point is 01:24:06 But I was like, all right. And so now I'm just not going to go out and eat liver. It's just not a thing I'm going to do. But I know that from experience that I can say without fear that, yeah, no, the reason is I just don't like it. Yeah, you went from uncertainty and fear of something to protecting your peace because you have knowledge. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:24 And it's inconsequential. It's just like you accrue these without even realizing it just by like watching something that's a little scary or like enduring a viewpoint that is not your own for like one fucking second. Like it's so you immediately gain some perspective. Like seriously, you know what blew my mind when I was young is that I was dating. I've said this before, but I was dating this girl who was from Germany and she was an exchange student. So my senior year over Christmas break, I like went to Germany by myself. I was like, what, like 16 and a half or 17 or something like that. And I'm in another country by myself.
Starting point is 01:25:00 And I had to like go to de Gaulle Airport in France also and like make a change. And there's like all these languages and all this stuff. And in Germany at the time, like people weren't speaking English as commonly as they were now. And like, you know, at least the young people weren't, you know. And like it really put the planet in perspective for me a lot more. And I didn't even go to like Asia or Africa or something. somewhere really truly culturally different. You know, I, I, everywhere I went, I had some sort of familiar cultural touchstone,
Starting point is 01:25:31 and I could say things to people and they could understand me a little bit, you know, and that's harder to even find now in Asia or Africa just because we're so global. But, like, having those experiences of being far away from what you know, and not being, like, on trial or just like, you know, eating some fucking like weird food or something that you see. That will make your whole life easy. It's not, it's not even close to as scary as you think it is to go to Los Angeles
Starting point is 01:26:01 person who's never been to Los Angeles. I think L.A. is like a terrible place. Like predator to like. At some point, at some point, protecting yourself from these experiences becomes more work and exhausting than just allowing the experiences to happen to you.
Starting point is 01:26:20 Yeah. And it's, just read about it at least. You don't have to go. You can like rub your brain on somebody else's brain in an earnest way without going. If you just trust somebody. I want to be open and communicate with them and they can tell you about life there. Like, yeah, man.
Starting point is 01:26:35 That's what pet house is to be. Yeah. Really watch something that somebody made like watch a like a travel documentary and really absorb it or like read a book and like really take your time absorbing it and getting getting the things out of it and trying to find the context for it. It's it's amazing how much is at our fingertips that we're not. picking ourselves into. Yeah. Um, you know what to say that you may be filled with fear and guilt from actions in your life for the actions of others. And there are those so caught up in the insanity of modern life that they don't have a second to even process or think about something like emotions. Some of us may have experienced sexual abuse or emotional manipulation and have all sorts of
Starting point is 01:27:14 other scars. And none of that just magically fixes. Healing sexual trauma requires deliberate journey of self-forgiveness, healthy boundaries, a gentle reclamation of the body. You have to restore reverence to sexual energy, right? It is something that is that is completely different if someone experienced any sexual trauma. You have to like go through healing. All of this from thinking about sex differently to being positive, to forgiveness, to eating the right way, like eating foods that support high vitality and optimizing your health. Not Taco Bell, Alex, no more taco Bell. Cucumbers, lemons, tomatoes, okay? All right.
Starting point is 01:27:51 Whole grain, bread's. You just are trying to embrace your truest self. And every single person is given so many opportunities. I love the way they phrase this is a every person stands at the crossroads
Starting point is 01:28:04 in their life and must choose between continuing familiar patterns of suffering or stepping into unknown paths of awakening. The ego fights fiercely at this junction, warning that change is dangerous and uncomfortable. And this change in your life must be from the inside out. You can't have someone
Starting point is 01:28:23 do it for you. You can't read this book and then expect changes. You have to act on it after reading. You have to, you have to like engage. You have to own it yourself. And they say, and if need be, if you have to hype yourself up, do it. Words work. Spoken words carry power. And they have a distinct energetic frequency that reinforces either fear-based separation or loving unity. So the words you say matter. Language is magic, baby. Yeah. Words make things happen.
Starting point is 01:28:56 Word, our magic, and they came from our brains. Thank you so much to Instant Hydration for sponsoring today's episode. And have you ever sat down to work, got completely absorbed in something, and then realized four hours have disappeared on you? Usually on this show, that means I'm discussing or reading about A, alien abductions or some other weird thing. Sometimes it just means you've been staring at 17 browser tabs and haven't gotten up once and you don't know where you're gonna start.

Starting point is 01:29:39 is the raspberry. It is delicious. It has a kind of just that like, I guess you call it sports drink taste, but what makes it different is its authentic French gray sea salt imported from France. It's naturally harvested and rich and naturally occurring trace minerals. So yes, I guess we briefly became a podcast discussing the origin of salt. Honestly, still not the weirdest turn the show is taken. It also contains zero sugar.
Starting point is 01:30:02 Did I mention that? You get electrolytes without adding sugar to your drink. Starting point is 01:30:31 episode. And then, I just want to point out for the record, 300 pages in, part five. using divine sex energy. We finally get that. The word penis shows up. Most of this book finally is absolutely about becoming a better person. That's it. That's most of the book. And then it's like,
Starting point is 01:30:53 and then when you are, get ready to fuck. Like that's, that's this. Every person who's a good person is a better lover than everybody who can fuck really well who's a bad person. I know. I bet you Elon Musk is a.
Starting point is 01:31:05 I don't think he, I don't think he doesn't. I can't even. I can't even know. I can't even pretend. I bet you be fucking. So I bet you he's like an industrial accident from the jungle. And I don't even want to elaborate.
Starting point is 01:31:18 Yeah. No, no, I'm with you on this. Um, so they write and this is for Alex. This is a, this is a chunky boy, but this is what they say to start the talk about sexual energy. All right.
Starting point is 01:31:28 All right, everybody. We will now write about the energies that pass between two individuals when they're making love. This is indeed the topic that all are interested in, isn't it? Is it not? If two souls approach one another and they have come to love themselves and feel healthy and happy with the choices they have made, then the experience is different on an energetic level.
Starting point is 01:31:50 During a sexual encounter, there are many variables that make it hard to discuss in generalities, but we will try to do so to give you an idea of what actually occurs in a good sexual exchange. The bodies come closer, and the radiance of one mingles with the radiance of the other. This feels good and feelings of pleasure arise. there is an energetic dance that takes place as the body's touch and the energy centers, chakras begin to line up. The strands of light from each chakra entwine and mingle in a flowing and dynamic way. They twist around each other, making beautiful sparks and combinations of lights as they merge. As if the heart centers are open, a tremendous rush of delight will be felt.
Starting point is 01:32:31 These two chakras come close to one another in a tantric relationship where the individuals have learned to deeply relax and connect with open-hearted, trust and deep love, there will be a deeper joining through the shared breath. The exchange of ideas and shared goals in the process and a deep reverence for one another pours the energy into rather than, pours the energy into rather than taking from. This is how the two really connect on a deep level. Each one is giving, giving, giving. And the experience of infused and shared energies becomes a very powerful event that is indeed
Starting point is 01:33:07 a joy to experience. So that's how they start. That's where they're starting us off at is like, hey man, you know, give, be a giver, not a taker. And it's like sexual flow state. Kind of. Yeah. And it's actually kind of funny because the way they describe it, they're like, all right, within divine sexuality, the physical body is celebrated as this like magnificent temple of divine expression rather than like an object of lust or shame. Right.
Starting point is 01:33:35 you're not worried about the body as like the way it looks but how it's the idea fucking the idea yeah it's like the idea fucking the idea full on yeah yeah you're honoring the body's sensitivity you're allowing physical touch to become a language of pure spiritual devotion to really dumb it down for everyone the basics of this part of the book are like and this is reading between the lines of the text essentially if you're having sex for the purpose of getting off you're doing it wrong you should take it slow, get really into it, express everything happening in your mind out loud to your partner, talk, maintain eye contact, tell them kind of what you're looking for and what you're given.
Starting point is 01:34:18 Like, you're making a night of this. This isn't a quickie. This is like we're going to be doing this slow and low. We're making like barbecue, baby. It's not the next four hours is going to be a good night. That's kind of it. It's that Bruce Lee. that Bruce Lee interview again where he's talking about Jekundo and he's talking about how it's not
Starting point is 01:34:40 about a particular school of discipline of kung fu or whatever it's like it's like you have all this knowledge and then you're so in the zone when you get there that you have like no mind and your limbs like hit by themselves no state yeah exactly it's a meditative state yeah it's literally like I you know I used I used to do improv quite a bit and at like a pretty pretty high level right and you get in these zones where like with somebody else especially on a one one one and one on one that was like my favorite way to do it it was like a two person show because you can vibe so hard with somebody that you like like just turn your your brain just like goes and it's like uh will feral in old school where he just like blacks out and like comes back and he's like
Starting point is 01:35:22 he was somebody else for a little bit like there's something that can happen that's not necessarily sexual but it's intimate and it's uh it's it's not scary at all. It's actually like as as automatic as like shitting or burping. It just happening. Going back to what she said at the very beginning when Tina was writing the intro and she's like, and I wasn't scared. She says it over and over again. There's something about the energy that hit her just like Alex is saying when he does that or you know, when we do live shows, Mathis, you have like, you enter a different realm of existence. I don't know how. I don't know why. In improv, we call it, in improv we call it making offers. Like he goes on stage.
Starting point is 01:36:02 and he just makes like so many offers. He's just like so present and like confidently like saying like this is what we're doing right now. This is what's going on right now. This is what's and we're like, and we're like, yes, dude. Like we're just like we. It's just weird. I talked about in therapy a bunch where like I step on stage and it feels like something
Starting point is 01:36:18 happens where I'm not me anymore and I'm like above myself. A little few state. I get it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then you step off and I'm like, I'm tired. You know, like that's like that's the energy like that's kind of what the book is saying is
Starting point is 01:36:31 that inside of you. there's this energy that exists and you got to like open it up to the universe and that's kind of what you're doing um and i'll say like on stage the reason is because i can be vulnerable with you two and that's where that vulnerability lesson a thing comes in because i can put my shield down i know i can do whatever i want because i know you two doesn't matter what i say if if you will put it up if you're liberating exactly correct you open yourself up to imagine if we're fucking dude yeah basically having like a three way on stage every time that's fact that's episode that's episode a thousand Yeah. That's episode 6969, dude. Yeah, yeah. That's going to be our three robot bodies fucking each other in the far, far future. Yo, I'm down for that. It's going to be like, click on, click, click on, clon, click on clon. You think 200 years from now, somebody feeds an AI our entire show and resurrects us for their own personal new episodes.
Starting point is 01:37:22 Yeah, it won't be me. If somebody feeds an AI, hopefully in 200 years, if anybody feeds an AI a prompt, like, police are dispatched to, like, take them out. Um, they say that consistently, and this is, I kind of love this, consistently practicing this sacred intimacy yields a rich harvest of emotional stability, vitality, and deep inner peace. So basically get to work. Yeah. Um, the cumulative effects of this inner work permanently alter how an individual experiences life. Um, but reading isn't how you do this. They literally say like, hey, guys. if you want, if this is what your goal is, put down the damn book, focus on your healing, focus on forgiveness, open yourself up to others, then get to practicing. Practice sex, work on yourself, work on like how you work on others. And, you know, if you know what I mean.
Starting point is 01:38:24 And if you find bliss and peace, you're going to do it. The book isn't going to help you. And I love that. I was like, yeah, that's the vibe. This is why I bought Wolverine instead of reading their reviews online. You know what I'm saying? You wanted it for yourself. And I will simply, this is kind of the way they end it for Mathis.
Starting point is 01:38:43 It's a very, uh, these are how the aliens or spiritual beings, whatever they are. Or Jedi Knights or fucking, or fucking anything. It doesn't matter what they are. They can be fucking. Cthulhu, it could be anything. Could be. And so this text is complete. And we are happy to tell you.
Starting point is 01:39:02 this tale of passion, of kindness, and of joy, so that you may know that you are right. There is something terribly wrong in the values of your society, and you are nothing but sane and correct in your feelings that this is all wrong. You are destined and able to create a world of great love and beauty, and we are asking you here and now to put these recommendations into practice in your life, knowing that this is the path you have chosen to assist in the transformation of the world. You are powerful beings who have clearly been told some untrue. truths that have led you astray. So now get on the path of truth toward joy, love, and freedom.
Starting point is 01:39:37 Know that there are great forces at your side, assisting in helping you in all ways and on all days. We are Ananda, teachers and friends from far and near assisting you in any way we can, hopeful and joyful that the desires of your heart are speaking to you through us and peace, in peace and love always. Literally, all the world is a stage. than the beyond a pale horse. And all the men and women merely play it.
Starting point is 01:40:04 Like when I read this book, I was expecting true nonsense. And it is no different than many of the countless other self-help actualization books out there, except from a completely different perspective. But it's, I simply love the idea that despite there being countless other stories of this nature, books of this nature, or whatever, they all have the exact same vibe, which is at some point, someone, be it the author or, the higher power that reached out to the author, had the revelation that like,
Starting point is 01:40:35 shit is so busted and we are so bad to each other. There's got to be a better way. And I'm so passionate, I'm going to write a 380-some page book about it. Honestly, I don't know that it needed to be that long, but I, like,
Starting point is 01:40:52 I feel like we got it in about 90 minutes, but there, I will say there are, if I were to give you, like, if I were to find like a document of all the page of this book. If I were to type in chapters or sections that began with forgiveness, it's a lot. There's a lot. Like, it is hammered home constantly. Forgiveness is a really hard
Starting point is 01:41:14 thing for a lot of people. Like, you know, like it's like a concept that I feel like it's like riding a bike. It's like either your brain does not wrap its mind around it or it does. Yeah. True forgiveness. Letting something actually go is crazy. Yeah. Fake it until you make it. You have to keep putting it into practice before it clicks and it sounds stupid and it's annoying because it sounds like it's something your brain should just accept. But no. Like everything else. It's a muscle. Austin,
Starting point is 01:41:40 Austin spare. I mean, it goes back the whole time up here. I'm just thinking about Austin, like the desire for not just closure, but like bad people to get what's coming to them. Yeah. And you have to accept the like the only like the bad people aren't thinking about how they screwed you over.
Starting point is 01:41:59 What a crazy thing to be worried about. Yeah. Like what a sort of like morbid like I understand like wanting to be free of a bad feeling. But that's not even going to be what happens. It's like bloodlust. It's fucking crazy. Anyway. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:18 That's not, you know, I'm not trying to go far down that road right now. But yeah, basically it is a glorified self-help book that eventually is like, and if you are self-actualized and a great person and being of pure. your light, sex is going to rock. Are there any sex scenes in the book? Are there any sex scenes in the book? There are no sex scenes in the book, although the appendices are literally, um, sexy.
Starting point is 01:42:40 No, it's, I don't know if you can see this, but basically it's her, like in, in dark text, being like, this was happening at the time this moment occurred. Or I was in a coffee shop and they reached out to me and this, and this is what they said, like that kind of thing. Ananda Communications. Yeah, yeah, basically, a little like, oh, you're probably wondering. why this section was in the book, well, I was sitting here eating dinner and then all of a sudden this happened. So it's trying to explain that's me. That's me. You're probably wondering how I got
Starting point is 01:43:08 in this situation. Yeah, that's it. Yeah. I will say not at all what I expected out of that book. Big same for this episode did not know what to expect. This was a way more fun and like, this was a cathartic episode for me at an interesting time in my day. It was good because like, we were going to maybe delay this episode like just for scheduling reasons to record on a different day. You guys still would have got it on the same day. But at the last minute, we were like, actually, we'll do it. And so, like, I'm in like, I was like in like a weird headspace. We got here. And now this is the episode that we got instead of like fucking God, which I thought was what it was going to be about.
Starting point is 01:43:41 Yeah, that's right. I thought we were going. And I'm, I feel oddly, oddly, uh, comforted. I feel good. The Ananda reached you, dude. They got, they got. They got me as a vessel. Maybe it's because I smoked a joint. Maybe. Maybe that's why.
Starting point is 01:43:57 But I, I do feel. Behold a pale horse. very different kind of book than Behold the Pale Horse. Yeah. To probably sell better than Behold the Pale Horse. I wish it did.
Starting point is 01:44:05 I wish it did too. Thank you, Jesse, for a phenomenal episode. We're out of here. We're going to go do a minisode for Patreon.com slash Chuluminati Pod. We'll be back next week of the brand new episode for you right here on the usual spot. We appreciate sure we love you.
Starting point is 01:44:20 We'll see you next week. Bye. Anyway, me and my wife were sitting outside indulging on our porch one night and enjoying ourselves. I needed to go to the bath so I stepped back inside and after a few moments I hear my wife go, holy shit, get out here. So I quickly dashed back outside.
Starting point is 01:44:36 She's looking up the sky and fall. I look up too and there's a perfect line of dozen lights traveling across the sky.
