What, what on.
What up?
B'u-da-Booten-a-Booty.
I think it's minisode 290.
2 million.
2 million.
Mindy sod.
Mindy sod.
We're going to have Mindy Kaling on just for one minisode.
In honor of episode two Mindy,
I have two ghost stories from one user for you guys.
This is Lost Penguin Dude with the Spawning Man and the Phantom Hand.
All right.
The spawning man in the Phantom hand.
That's just silent.
That's just the, that's just the, that's just the, that's just the amoos.
Okay.
I sit on your hand till it's numb and jerk off.
Oh, well, you're all right.
Yeah. I tried to save us.
You laid it out.
He kept it subtle.
I have to lay it out for some people because some people may not know.
That's something I learn each day.
Have to.
I'm here to educate.
Yeah, that's what he's here for.
Okay, so I have a few stories that I've been meaning to put on the subreddit for a solid
couple of years now, but I've just never gotten around to it.
The reason I was inspired to do so now is because I witnessed something about an hour ago
and I want to write it down before it leaves my brain.
I will put that in the other story which sits in my memory as the most significant
here.
I might post more one day.
Also, I tend to ramble.
My apologies in advance.
On the Tulumani Discord server, I am known as UFOs.
Ufoes.
So I'll go by that here, too.
Hello to anyone from there reading this.
I'm a 23-year-old archaeology student from Australia, kind of,
and I honestly consider myself a gelatin,
magix, al-Massie, some combination of the three anyway.
I'm a skeptic to a point that it actually frustrates me.
I want to believe...
That sounds like a Jesse.
I want to believe so fucking.
fucking badly, but I just cannot get myself to, even though I have a couple of my own paranormal stories.
I'm also happy to do deep dives into this stuff and hyperfocus on random cryptids, paranormal
stories, that kind of thing. But I'm mostly just here to smoke up and enjoy the ride on which
I am taking my time. Story one, this is the one that happened about an hour ago. So there I am,
minding my own business, waiting for the bus, listening to my tunes. It's about 630 and the sun is
slowly beginning to rise. I'm standing next to the bus stop right at the curb rather than sitting at it,
because my bus is due in a minute or so.
So naturally, the bus is late.
I bounce on my heels a bit because I'm not good at sitting
slash standing still,
just looking around at the trees and such.
I'm looking up the road, watching for my bus.
At some point, I look behind me and see three men in high viz vests.
Note, is that in Australianism?
If so, I'm talking about the fluorescent vests.
We all know.
High biz, we get it.
And the like wear for safety.
Yeah.
High biz is definitely like,
I've only heard British people and Australian people say,
it. Two of them are wearing green vests and the third is wearing an orange vest. I turn back around
and pretend to look at my phone because I'm visibly queer and I'm not looking for some kind
of conversation. Australia is pretty safe, but this area currently has some issues with all right
bullshit. Once they pass me, I look up again and gaze down the road, still just looking out for my
bus because I am bored. I end up watching half watching the men walk. This is a flat section of the road.
There's a curve way up ahead, but nowhere near the bus stop. As I'm watching the men, I think about
how I'm lucky and privileged to be in my position that I'm glad I haven't just finished a night
shift of construction road work. This isn't performative. I try to remind myself with these things
frequently, especially when I'm stressed. As I'm thinking about the semester that's about to start,
enjoying the feel of the early morning air waking my senses, something happens, which brings my
early morning thoughts of a gratitude to a screeching stop. A fourth man appears. He wasn't there,
and then he was. He was also wearing a green hive's vest, and is walking with the other three
men who all somewhat simultaneously stepped closer together to make room for this fourth guy.
Who the fuck is this fourth guy? Where did he come from? There is absolutely nowhere he could have
stepped out from. Next to us is a field and the next building is further up the road and
due to the man's high-vis vest with its reflective strips and headlights on the oncoming traffic,
I could very clearly see where he wasn't and then was. Unfortunately, this story just kind of ends
there. My bus comes about a minute later and I get on it. No fucking clue. I message twig.
Hello, Twiggy about this as soon as I was on the bus. And then the Chulamani Discord server.
Any ideas? Comments? So that's story one.
Story two. The Phantom Hand. This story is much shorter. Happened a couple of years ago at my
ex-boyfriend's house. This requires a bit of understanding of the land of the house. So I will do my best
to describe it. Please feel free to ask for clarification if this doesn't make sense.
So there I was, minding my own business, visiting my ex, who wasn't my ex at the time, but you probably figured that.
His house is one of those where the front door is actually at the side of the house, kind of a right angle or a fat L shape, I guess.
Okay.
You walk up the driveway.
And then to your left, there are two steps of a small porch, maybe two meters square in a square shape.
Apparently that's 21.5 square feet, but that seems way too big.
If anybody knows the actual conversion, please let me know so that I can edit it in.
I think that seems about right, actually.
My ex's bedroom window looks out at the porch.
It's a pretty big window, and the bottom of it starts, maybe my knee,
and then goes up the wall, taller than me.
This window has thin metal shutter blinds.
Whenever someone knocked at my door,
my ex would move one of the shutters a little bit with his fingers to see who it is.
Even when he was expecting me, he would still do this,
honestly, just to see how dressed he needed to be to enter the door,
in case it was a postman or something.
So I knock on the door,
and knowing he would do this, I turned to his window ready to wave.
As per, the shutters move.
Only this time, he doesn't just use a couple fingers to move,
but he moves it with his whole hand.
The hand grabs the blinds and shoves them down.
I remember finding it a bit odd
as he usually would try to peek out of the window subtly.
His hand also looks somewhat, well, off.
I don't quite know how else to put it.
Because of the angle, I cannot see his face.
I remember thinking, oh, hey, he painted his nails,
glittery black?
He frequently painted his nails, but always matte or shiny black.
He had mentioned a few times how he didn't use glittery nail polish because it caused some sensory issues for him.
A few moments later, the door opens and I walk in and give him a hug hello.
I then hold one of his hands to inspect the nail polish.
I wanted to compliment him on it, as well as mentioned how I think it's great that he's trying something new, despite his sensory issues.
This is a very clear thought I had.
I opened my mouth and say,
What?
He looks at me confused and asks what's wrong.
In return, I ask, where's the nail polish?
He looks at me more confused.
He says he wasn't wearing any.
I look at him, waiting for him to crack a smile,
explain that it was a joke, something,
but he doesn't.
And he isn't the pranking type.
I explain the hand in the window with the nail polish
and how it grabbed the shutters.
My ex, being a believer in the paranormal,
he actually strongly believes that his house has two spirits of some sort
residing in it, looks freaked out.
out. He asks if I'm joking and to please not mess with him because I know that that sort of thing freaks him out easily.
I promise him that I'm not messing with him and we go inside and ponder on this for a while.
And that's it. Any thoughts and or questions for this one? I've never known what to make of this,
but I'm open to suggestions and no. There was absolutely no time between the shutters being moved
and him opening the door in which you could have removed the nail polish. It was a matter of seconds.
Quick note to anyone, but especially the boys, TM. I cannot express how highly
I recommend the movie Repo Man, 1984, starring Emilio Estevez, and Harry Dean Stanton.
It is the best film made by human hands.
The best way to experience it.
I feel like I know this film is to go.
I know it as well.
They're, they're great.
This is like a, this is a classic movie that everybody should see.
So I won't explain anything, but I generally think of you would all enjoy it,
mostly looking at Mathis for reasons.
Have you seen it, Mathis?
No, I know of it.
I've never seen it.
Yeah.
Okay, that's it.
Thanks so much for reading.
Again, any questions and comments are welcome.
Have a great day night.
P.S.
It's crazy how quick.
I can write 1500 words if not for an essay LMFAO.
Yeah, tear through that shit.
The second one seems like one of those either glitch in the matrix type situations or
maybe a shit.
It was just like there was a weird shadow on the hand that made it look like there was nail polish, but there wasn't.
Both of them are like that perfect place between two things.
Like, and this is like so nerdy, but like I just watched the Odyssey, right?
I want to go see it so bad.
I'm looking forward to seeing it.
I watched it the other day.
Pretty cool movie.
it starts with something like in the age of apparent magic or something like that as the opening title screen and I you think about that concept that like if you don't have all the information if you don't know what's going on a lot of the things that happen around you and the things that you experience in your life appear to be something different than they are like you know the I forget what the giants are called in the Odyssey but in the Odyssey they're fucking huge and the trees like move in a weird way that doesn't make sense and like it's very literal to the to the translation of the of the text but like
In real life, probably those guys, if they were a real people,
were probably just like slightly taller dudes, you know what I mean?
That kind of thing.
And so when you see something like a hand that is acting strange,
maybe that strange jerk movement rather than the subtle movement
made your instincts see a scarier hand there for a second.
Or maybe that extra guy was there the whole time and you just aligned differently.
Sure.
Or maybe you witnessed.
a teleportation and a demon hand.
And either one is equally exciting.
Yeah, you know what I mean?
Yeah, I, I, yeah, your brain's always important to keep in mind, like your brain is
always looking to put like patterns on the things.
And sometimes when you see something that your brain didn't catch all the, you didn't
get all the information from from seeing it, it will fill it in with its best guess.
Exactly.
Anyway, that's me.
Yeah.
I got two, it's old school minisode for, for me today.
A couple quick videos for you boys to watch.
We've got Bigfoot Watch has returned.
Let me share this video with you.
It's literally a 16-second video of a farmer outside of Greenville, Texas,
who observed and recorded a Bigfoot.
This video has been around since 2025,
but only being kind of like reposted as of three days ago.
The Bigfoot part is what gets me hype about this.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, get excited.
This is some of the best Bigfoot video I've ever seen.
There you go.
There's your link.
Do you mean that?
Do you mean that sincerely?
Well, we'll see.
So, yeah.
Just looking at a field.
There's like a shed.
Oh, there's a figure in the field pretty far away.
He ducks behind a hill so far away that the compression makes it impossible to make out
even what it is.
And then that's the end of the fact that they're literally someone who goes, you can't tell
what it is is really funny.
That's a big clip for sure.
What are you talking about?
That is an exceptionally clear shot of a video of a Bigfoot rather.
Is that really the actual resolution?
That's really the, according to coast to coast a.m. baby.
That is where that is the direct link to that.
However, I've got a bit better of a video for you, boys.
That is not Bigfoot related, but it is a classic metallic spherical UFO caught on camera from multiple minutes of this thing out in Mexico.
And this is a pretty cool.
And this was posted four days ago.
And it reminds you of the Mosul Orb a bit.
I've got a timestamp so it should start right when you start seeing the metallic sphere.
We in there.
I mean, describing it to the people who are watching it, it is quite literally just a smooth
metal sphere covering in the desert.
If it was fake, right, it would be like a fishing line that I'm holding from like a fishing pole,
like and the metal balls on the end of it.
But then it zooms out like way too far.
Yeah, we got a really far back shot.
And then he zooms in on this thing.
So you really get a like a perspective shot as this thing.
It's just like hovering around in a desert, just kind of moving around.
It looks pretty good.
Like, I mean,
guess he's shaking his head,
so it may not be that best.
I mean,
size wise,
though,
it could be anything.
When you click it,
when you first get to the time code,
it,
wherever that is,
like what,
what,
what time code that is.
17 seconds.
Yeah,
17 seconds.
That one will be,
that to me is a satisfying size
no yeah
it looks like the size of the Mosul orb
the one that the
it's very very small
right yeah like I don't know why this couldn't be a manmade thing
like this object
the way it moves like it it
it could
it could be but it floats
it doesn't
it doesn't have the properties of like alien
it floats
like there's like
there's a propeller but
you know, we can't see it, but like, that's the way it's floating.
Like a little.
I mean, it doesn't, here's what I'll say.
Like, obviously this could be faked, clearly.
But it doesn't have like a clear giveaway that it's fake.
That's, that's how it looks to me.
It looks like very believable footage.
Like if I was like brought into a room by the government and told that it was real,
I would believe them.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
To me, it just, it's interesting because it looks so similar to the most of
orb, which was like that government released a footage of it.
That thing seems like it's real by this point.
You know what I mean?
Like we've seen so many orbs like that.
And the one that's in the box also,
I feel like is like more than just like a meme.
I feel like enough people have seen it and reported on the cube, the geometric key one.
It does feel like we've moved on from are these real to their real, but nobody knows
what they are now.
Like it does feel like that is the general consensus of like a normie at this point.
1,000, 1,000.
Which is crazy because it just kind of slowly happened and just wasn't a big thing.
People just kind of seems like agreed consensus-wise that these things are real now.
I mean, at least Jesse did.
And in my mind, that's everyone.
That's true.
That's very true.
I'm still not convinced this is, this isn't anything more than a host.
He's still a go like scrolling to this video.
There's a lot of like, cut the video itself.
The video itself is not that long.
There's a finger that comes in front of it.
And I thought that it like went in between,
but it's like just perfectly not.
It's like enough that I can't say for sure,
whether it's just diffusing or not.
They keep like the footage is not long.
It keeps cutting back and then showing the same footage again and again.
It still,
it still looks pretty good to me.
That's all I'm saying.
It's like,
it just doesn't look fake.
It doesn't,
it looks like it could be CG.
It's easily.
I don't think it's CG.
think this could literally be like a prop yeah a thousand percent it be it could be because
it's not do it like isn't why not film all of it why not walk up to it why not like why does the
video cut so quickly where does it go does it fly away like it is it is not known yeah i don't buy it
it is not who knows who knows just too many questions and why why is it only 15 seconds long
can only wonder.
If you saw an alien,
would you only film for 15 seconds?
Bullshit.
No.
I don't buy that.
No,
I would,
I would like start running towards it with my camera out and like,
turn on shit.
Yeah,
it's literally just pointing at it and being like,
there it is.
I don't buy that.
I don't buy that.
From me,
such a clear image.
One of the most clear orbs ever.
And you're just going to like,
well,
all right,
that's enough.
No,
dude.
That's not real.
You have a fair point,
Jesse,
it cannot deny.
Because I'd be running at the thing just like out.
I'm not everyone who saw.
It's so visibly clear.
You can see the reflective surface.
Like you're telling me,
my dude wasn't like,
whoa,
we should film,
at least film it until it goes away.
Holy fuck.
All right,
then,
Jesse,
get us out of here with something better.
Well,
I don't know if it's better,
but maybe it does help us science-wise.
So,
okay,
the,
uh,
I want to make sure I give them full credit here.
Um,
the University of California
Riverside, planetary scientist Michelle Hill and her colleagues recently began simulating
all the information they know about the universe and about worlds and about atmospheres,
and more importantly, planetary habitability.
And so they ran a bunch of world tests to see, you know, planets that exist out there,
using the information we have, that are similar to Earth and orbited in habitable zones,
that they wanted to see, all right, well, how much of those could actually support life?
And it turns out that for a world to maintain an atmosphere long enough for life to even form,
and I like how they put in parentheses, a few billion years at minimum,
they need to be at least as big as Mars.
That's the information they discovered.
You have to be at least as big as Mars.
And it turns out that the atmosphere,
to be an atmosphere sustaining planet, you need about 80% the width of Earth.
But it could technically be as small as 60%.
They're still like, you know, fudging numbers there.
But essentially, that's the size.
I think they said it was like 0.8 Earth radii.
Hill and her colleagues have created the smaller than Earth habitability model,
which simulates the fate of atmospheres around digital versions of Earth.
So they simulated worlds that were exactly like Earth,
but a little smaller, with the same chemical makeup, the same proportions, the core,
the mantle crust, et cetera.
Others they made had slightly different amounts of carbon, larger or smaller cores,
et cetera, et cetera.
And again, like I said, the model basically says that you need to be at least 80%
as wide as Earth to maintain an atmosphere in the long run.
Smaller planets tend to lose gas faster than the volcanic eruptions can replace it.
And essentially, smaller planets have less gravity, weaker magnetic fields.
they don't hold onto the gas that is spewing out,
and because they're smaller,
they're not a volcanic activity
for it to replace any gas that is lost.
They do say, however,
that based on their different models,
the sun has a lot to do with it.
So if you have a red dwarf star,
that would change the numbers.
Because a red dwarf star is not as big,
so you could have smaller planets.
What the fuck?
So each size of,
of a star changes the equation as well.
Yeah, that makes sense, though.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's like frying in different parts of the pan or like.
Yeah, exactly.
Or like on a grill.
You have an over the heat and then you have off to the side thing.
Same vibe.
Yes.
Fucking crazy.
And so they're like,
I literally like was a little sound like so below brother.
Yeah.
Turtles all the way.
But like that's kind of the vibe I guess is is as we go out into the stars if we
ever do one day, it'll be who of us to know this shit because it doesn't make any sense
to go to a planet that we couldn't even set foot on.
So I will during my synesthetic reveries, trust me.
Yes.
And it's, it's fascinating to see the way they study stuff.
But I love the fact that they have models and you can go explore and see kind of what.
It's like, um, every once in a while on TikTok, I'll see some dude who does like a, uh, plant,
like there's a planet program.
And it's like, what if you put a black hole at the center of earth or what if you make the moon?
closer to earth and it'll show what happens or it's like what if you turn off the same channel
that does the bfx artist reacts kind of channel yes yeah and it's interesting because it isn't
what you expect like it's one of those what if you turn off the sun for a year and i remember it
being like at first it gets like a little colder and then a little colder but at the end of the
year when it comes back on most of the earth is covered in ice but the problem is he's like
oh yeah most people will survive that but the plants and stuff
stuff will not grow back right away.
And so for shutting off the sun up for one year, suddenly it takes four or five years to bring
it back.
And now then people are screwed, which is super interesting.
And that's like that kind of stuff I love.
So hearing that science is right there's, we're going to be fucked.
Yeah.
Don't you worry.
So he's so fucked when they get those space lasers, bro.
The future is bright.
We're going to have space lasers.
We're going to have Dyson spheres.
It's going to be great.
It's going to be alive in 2026, baby.
Oh, yeah.
Let me tell you.
We're going to the future.
future, baby.
My future is playing a little world of warcraft tonight.
You got back in, didn't you got sucked all the way back there?
Dude, I've been back in for months at this point.
But it's like, it's found this wonderful, cozy place of like an hour or night.
It's a wind down.
I get to play with my girlfriend.
And then that's it.
And then it's like, I don't, I don't raid.
I don't do mythic shit.
I don't give a shit about any of that.
I wish I had habits.
How do you guys do it?
it'll be until my dopamine stops
and then I'll find another one but that's fair that's fair
for now yeah anyway
thank you guys so much for listening we'll be back next week
with a brand new minisode for all of you and we'll see
a bunch of you in Chicago in about a month
excited thank you guys there we'll see you next week
goodbye thank you for your purchase
