Is that like my boyfriend is a boy who's a friend? Or is it like my boyfriend, the quotes mean like, I'm just shacking up? It's complicated. Like, why the quotes? That's the real mystery so far. I also love a mall type area, but I think I know what you mean. I noticed the other shoppers giving my boyfriend weird looks. what is that type looks curious i looked up to see why everyone was making faces maybe they said

boyfriend because it's like just generic thing that may be their boyfriend but is like not a real thing in their actual life and just in the dream uh anyway curious i looked up to see why everyone was making faces he was tall and could only see from his shoulders down i thought it was weird but ignored it because hey it's my boyfriend you know what he looks like finally we reached our destination, but it wasn't in a mall. It was in a house. The house looked like the stereotypical old person house. So me and my boyfriend walked into the dining room to see a long wooden table filled with his family members. It was my first time meeting them, so I was excited and nervous. My boyfriend started to introduce his family by name. This is Tita, name I don't remember.

Tita means I stopped him and walked over to hug his Tita. I know what Tita means, I've dated a Filipino man before. I let go and smiled at her and she smiled back. My first, my dream fast forward to us finishing dinner and getting ready to leave. As soon as I looked his family, as soon as I looked at his family the final time, my heart dropped to my stomach. There were no longer friendly family members standing there. They were replaced by tall white beings with weird full, the only way I can describe it, black eyes and an emotionless face. What's wrong? One of the Titas asked.

I couldn't speak. I was too in shock, too afraid to answer. My eyes darted to one of the Titas who had a pixie cut. Her hair started to slip off her head. I started to panic. What's wrong? Another one asked. I could only shake my head no, as if nothing was wrong.

I wanted to leave so I looked at my boyfriend, giving him a signal to, let's get out of here. But as I did, I finally got to see the rest of him. tall whitish beings with weirdly full black eyes just like them my heart rate my heart raced faster i was surrounded by beings that i'd never seen before i was about to take off running but i realized i couldn't move i was frozen in place they continued to stare at me as i struggled to get unstuck their faces never changed either emotionless i couldn't handle being practically studied and force myself to wake up which i did. I was in my bedroom. My boyfriend is snoring loudly. Okay, so there is a real, there is a real boyfriend. Tired from the shift he had from the hospital. Maybe air quotes boyfriend

is because it was like dream boyfriend. Oh, that makes sense. Yeah, because it was a freaking, clone the cloners. What are those? Sure. Yes. Okay. All right. I'm following. Uh, I switched over to lay on my right side, pulled out my phone and started watching TikTok. I was too scared to go back to sleep. So I stayed awake for the rest of the day. creeps me out still thinking about it it was weird i've had dreams about grays but never these ones anyway everyone have a nice morning afternoon or night so that's the that's the post basically there's a there's a Filipino element maybe to this uh there's a family of your boyfriend turns out to be an alien family and then you find out your boyfriend's an alien what does it all mean

oh dream interpreters what does it all mean what could it what could this speak to in their life i don't know fear of meeting a family like that seems pretty standard does just that it really does it just feels that way to me like like maybe you feel like not fitting in with your family is going to make you realize that you're not of the same species as your boyfriend or them judging you and and yeah yeah sure yeah i'm actually i'm very lucky to have a good relationship with my wife's family but i know some people who don't have good relationships with their like partners, families. Yeah. Yeah. You do kind of like, like, I feel like, yeah, I feel like that makes the most sense. It makes you kind of feel like an outcast or an alien or, like, you don't belong. And what do you think about? depiction of the aliens. What do we think? Full black eyes, emotionless-faced, tall white beings. I think that's just alien. It's pretty on par with it. Yeah, that's just like, it could be just like subconscious knowledge of what aliens look like,

kind of supplanting it in dreams. I don't, I hesitate to jump to like abductions and like earth scenarios and dreams are reflections of you being abducted while you're sleeping or anything like that. Because I've had some weird fucking alien dreams and there are no way I was abducted. That you know of yet. Just because it didn't happen to me. It means it cannot happen to me. it means it cannot happen to anybody else. Because you just, because if it's gonna happen to anybody. It's gonna happen to me.

seven wonders of the ancient world. Now, there are seven modern wonders, and there are seven wonders. Everyone has a wonder. Are we like together? Are we like together on the modern wonders now? The modern wonders are kind of like all over the place. But there's, so there's the seven wonders of the ancient world. Those ones, I feel like we all know those. And that, yeah, and then there's the Seven wonders of the world. But then there's the seven wonders of the modern world, which are like, you know, last 100 year kind of things.

Yeah. But like the, you know, the seven wonders of the world that exists now are like, you know, the great wall and that kind of thing. But the ancient world, aside from the pyramids, none remain. Here's the fun bit, though. One technically does. The great lighthouse of Alexandria, Ferros, as it's called.

Multiple earthquakes, 700-ish years ago, brought that thing crumbling down. I think there was one earthquake, 700 years ago, and then, like, one earthquake, like a thousand plus years ago, whatever the case may be, multiple earthquakes took place, brought it down. All we know of how it looks is from art. That's it.

And a lot of it is artistic interpretation. So we don't necessarily know what it looked like. But what we do know is that back in, I think it was like 19, I want to say 20 something, whatever the case may be, way back when people started to go and actually dig around to the Mediterranean to find the pieces of this giant lighthouse. There's these massive boulders. As an example, here's an image of a more. more recent expedition to do this. So you can see exactly how big these things are.

Whoa. Wow. That's huge. That's a big rock. It's a man-sized square rock. Yes. Successfully, they've retrieved 22 massive stone blocks that once composed the entrance of the lighthouse.

Oh, yes. Sorry. In 1994, they were messing around in there. However, and in 19th. So basically first described in 1916, then again in 1940, then again in 1968. Everyone's like trying to do this. However, not the most stable region of the world. So they kept having to like pull back and not deal with it.

However, now they're back in there and they're actively pulling up pieces. So led by archaeologist Isabel Harry in collaboration between Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiques and the Assault Systems Foundation. the Faro's project has successfully raised 22 massive stone blocks from the floor their way up to 88 tons they have a website now where you can see everything comes out of that the ultimate goal though

isn't just to pull the stones out what they're doing is digitally scanning everything they're finding so cool so they're scanning hundreds of underwater features weird like you know columns and things right and they're using that along with ancient depictions of the coins mosaics art a famous firsthand depiction by an Arab traveler from 1166

and essentially they're going to take all of this stuff and digitally reclassially and digitally recreate all 330 feet of this thing that was last really used, you know, in 1303 and had guided ships for 1,600 years. So they're going to actually recreate it digitally. So we'll be able to see what it looks like for the first time. That is so nuts. Yeah. And we kind of know what it looks like. Well, we don't know exactly. So that's why they're doing all this so we can finally see it'll be the only thing from the wonders of the ancient world besides the pyramids that we actually know what it looked like officially at the end of this.

Did you say that they were going to build it in VR so that you can go to it? It's a digital, I don't know if it's going to be VR, but they're digitally building it. They better do that. I would love to throw on my freaking non-specific, unbranded VR headset and check out.

I mean, they do say the ultimate aim of the project is to make it available to the modern world for study and observation. So I have to imagine, Yes. That is so fucking cool. There's going to be like a sick, like scary game squad game set in the library of Alexandria now.

Watch. So that is, well, the library is gone. The library is gone. This is the lighthouse. That's what I mean. The library would be amazing if we found any of that,

No, I'm just kidding. I got two things. We'll save this one for later. It's short. The first thing that ties directly to yours, Jesse, which is six days ago. Scientists are now able to decipher new secrets from ancient scrolls that were scorched by Vesuvius, the Vesuvius eruption. Yes, I saw this. Oh, it's so cool.

Scorched by Vesuvius? Yes. Is it like pictures of this? Yes. Yes. So this is coming right out of CBS News, but there's a bunch of other places. in 79 AD, the eruption of Mount Vesuvius buried the Roman city of Pompeii in the nearby town of Herculaneum. During a dig in Herculaneum in the 18th century, archaeologists found

1,800 papyrus scrolls in an intact ancient library deep under the site of a villa that was destroyed by the Vesuvius eruption. But reading them was impossible. The scrolls were were brittle and charred and unraveling them, turned them directly to ash. Yeah, you can see a picture of one looks like a turd. For centuries, researchers have worked to interpret the scrolls, and recent technology led to a breakthrough. A particle accelerator and AI were used to identify ink, even faint traces, allowing researchers to virtually unwrap the delicate scrolls, but interpreting the ancient language is another project entirely. In 2023, Brent Seals launched the Vesuvius Challenge, a global competition offering prize money for those who can help interpret

the writing. Three college students, became the first to extract words from a carbonized scroll in 2024, but they only interpreted about 5% of one scroll. The second phase of the challenge led to Thursday's major discovery. The University of Kentucky, Stanley and Karen Pigman School of Engineering, which leads the research in collaboration with the Biblioteca Nazianal di Napoli, Vittorio, Emmanuel, the third, and Naples, said that experts have virtually unwrapped one entire scroll,

recovered more than 70 columns of text from another, and identified two new books from ancient Rome and recovered, quote, sufficient text to support new critical scholarly editions. Like books that we didn't know existed before. Yep. This is what's so amazing about this. I'm going to link one of the pages

that you can look at them unscrolling it in that page. It's kind of cool. Like this is the quintessential. Like this is what AI should be used for. This is like it's perfect. It absolutely is doing a thing that humans could not do. And we're using it as a tool. It's so.

helpful. This is awesome. This is how we discover shit that like was lost. You know how they, they still to this day talk about the Romans built these roads. And those roads, they did not like, they lasted forever. And we still to this day don't know how the hell they did that shit. It's that kind of thing. Here's it. Like, this is some of cool stuff we've learned. So the virtually unwrapped scroll is one of the oldest in the collection. Nicolardi said that now that it has been unfolded, efforts to determine the authorship of the paper is underway. One of the, of the books revealed that the philosopher of Philodemus wrote an eight book series. Only one book had been previously even known to exist before this.

So immediately learned the seven other books in the series where they only thought there was one, saying, quote, for nearly two millennia, many of these texts have been physically preserved, but intellectually inaccessible. Today, after years of interdisciplinary work combining advanced imaging, AI, academic research, in an innovative contest, we are finally able to read them. The amount of text revealed means scholars can read the scrolls as complete arguments rather than as fragments. And Frederick Nicolardi, an assistant professor in papyrology at one of the universities in Naples

said that this marks a transformational shift for researchers. Today, we are hearing voices that have been silent for 2,000 years. For the first time, we are uncovering and reading them, but most importantly, we are beginning to understand them. Still more than 600 scrolls remain unopened and unread and a project led being led by the Vesuvius challenge that efforts are ongoing and that archaeologists need everyone's help to read the scrolls. This is no longer just about imaging or machine learning.

Now we need experts who can read, edit, and understand what they are saying. It's crazy. It's so fucking cool. You can actually go and read the entire thing. Yeah. It's sick. It's nuts. Like we can actually like read what they said.

We're going to learn so much more whole new scrolls. We have like for the first time in our lives and other parents and our parents like and our parents like there may be new mythology that is discovered about their pantheon or anything with Roman pantheon and stuff. Like who knows like what is going to be found. But it is so fucking cool. And this is exactly what AI is needed. I hope we just get like day to day life stuff.

I want so much of that too. I want to know what they're lives are like. More on Zeus. I would love to be like, what was it like on the island? The last thing I want to talk about was actually kind of short. It's UFO related. So in the new dump of UFO files, a little tidbit of information kind of was discovered.

That actually is fascinating. The Robertson panel is a panel that met in January, 1953. it's been minorly partially disclosed of its existence. But the whole point of it was to, its report recommended that national security agencies strip the UFO subject of its aura of mystery through a public, quote, debunking an education program. And it flagged concern that morbid national psychology

around sighting could be exploited by an adversary. The point was the Robertson panel existed to to warn us against Project Bluebeam. Yeah, exactly. The point was it was literally made to be a debunking thing. It was to strip the UFO subject of its mystery and just like create, like make it something only cranks talk about. They go out there to debunk everything all the time.

And what makes that interesting is that while it's only been partially declassified, the Robert Pansel, Robertson panel showed up actually again in a newly declassified document from these things, shedding more light on them that they actually. did exist. They actually did do these things. And that there was a concentrated panel about five or six years after Roswell where the government came together and said, okay, we need to discredit this shit and make UFOs look ridiculous. And they did for decades. And it resurfaced about two weeks ago. And the new files that were released, there's little documents in there. You can go grab. And it just talks about the Robertson panel.

Like the first thing that we talked about when it came to Indians was like this. Like when the, like in 2018 or whatever when we started this like I feel like this is the type of shit that we were talking about even back then yeah crazy and now we're seeing more of it actually is and the reason that there's like there's like there's a rumor and now and you think that there's not people out there still doing that to this day like of course like it's continuing like or at least something with similar methods right yeah and so it just more evidence it did exist they did do these things like the UFO term was purposely by the government made to be foolish and insane to discredit it and it's so fucking because I sound like it's you go from shitting on project blue
