Hello everybody. Welcome to another episode of Christ with coffee on ice. I am your host, Ali Yost, and I am so excited to be back with you guys this week. Happy Friday, everybody. I hope that you had a good week. I hope that it's been productive. I hope that you've been able to spend some good time with the Lord as well. And yeah, I'm very interested to see how this episode goes today. I'm going to be honest, y'all. I spent some time with the Lord this morning and I was just, I actually wasn't even really asking him what we were going to do today. I think I already felt confident that he would reveal that at some point. I was just seeking him. He then revealed to me what we were going to be doing. This is not going to be giving your traditional

podcast episode, not only just for Christ with coffee on ice, but I feel like in general. This is just like not a thing, but the Lord, he loves to break boundaries. He loves to break through boxes and walls we may put on things. And so I believe he's challenging me. He's challenging me in this and he's asking if I will be obedient enough to do it. And so I said yes to him. So with that being said, I don't know for how long we're going to do this. I don't know if this is going to be for the entirety of the episode or not, but this isn't going to be the type of episode that you're going to be able to probably do your Holy Girl walk to or your commute in your car. This episode is going to be, at least this portion that we're doing, you will have to be

still. You will have to be sitting still in a room somewhere alone with the door closed, and you will have to just look at Jesus. So I believe that the Lord is inviting all of us into a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is crazy. He wants to baptize you guys in the spirit. I'm just the messenger, but that is what he's saying. And so whether you've been baptized in the spirit already, whether you have never been, or maybe you don't even know, and that's okay.

You don't need to know. He wants to give you a fresh washing of his spirit. And so I'm just going to listen to him. I am going to do whatever he says. and I'm just the middleman here. I'm just the translator, communicator, I am the vessel. But God wants to reach you. And he wants you to have a fresh, just awareness relationship with the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God.

So I think what I want to do, which we've never done this before either, but I feel that the Lord wants us to put on some soaking music, like some worship music in the background. I love to play it for whenever I'm just sitting with the Lord. It's totally okay to sit in silence with God. You don't always need to have something in the background. But he wants some soaking music in the background. And I'm going to just pray and just follow the spirit and see what he does. So with that being said, I encourage everyone to sit down somewhere, whether it's on your bed, on your floor, and just get comfortable.

be comfortable, it doesn't have to be super formal, but he wants you to just be still and just sit in his presence. Okay, can you all hear that? Is it too loud? I brought my speaker. Y'all are really getting a glimpse of what happens when Ali is sitting alone with the Lord. Okay, this is going to be fun.

This is actually nothing to be nervous about. If there are people listening that are nervous, don't be. This is fun. is fun he's kind and um he just wants to hang out with you so let's all close our eyes and let's just allow the spirit to clear our minds right now all the busyness and all the things that we're thinking about let's just allow him to shush everything thank you Jesus Holy Spirit I just ask you to come but I ask that you send your spirit and meet every listener where they're at every one of your children, God, I just ask that you reach them in this moment and they feel your spirit.

Jesus, I ask that you feel every corner of this room. I pray for a peace to rest upon them, resting on your shoulders, resting on your chest. Jesus, Holy Spirit, come. God, I ask for a heightening of awareness, just like a deeper feeling and awareness of your spirit. Jesus, Jesus. And just start calling out his name. Just say his name. Say Jesus.

Feel that you're supposed to put your hands, like, whether you're putting them in the air, whether you're resting them on your knees. But just put your hands up, like facing heaven, facing the ceiling, and receive, receive the spirit right now. Lord, I pray for open hearts. I pray against.

the spirit of fear or uncertainty. God, I just pray for receiving hearts to just receive your spirit and your peace right now. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for your eyes. Now that the Lord wants you to tell him your biggest hopes and desires and dreams, just in your relationship with him, that there are things that you want to achieve.

There are versions of him that you want to see still. There are sides of his face that you still want to see. There's just things that you want to achieve in your journey with him. And so I feel the Lord wants you to say that out loud to him. even if it feels kind of silly, even if it feels like unachievable, even if you're feeling discouraged in these things, but he wants you to tell him and to just declare it out loud to him, the things that you want to do with him.

I just encourage you to do that right now as we continue to receive his spirit and sit with him. He wants you to say that out loud. The Lord wants you to know that everything that you just said out loud to him, all of the things that you want to achieve with him, the relationship that you want to have with him, the things that you want to do with him in this lifetime, you can do. And that everything can change right now.

It actually is. I'm going to speak that in confidence, that your relationship with the Lord is just going to be different after this. that he's doing something in your heart right now and that is why he wanted you to be still in this moment I also feel that he wants you to know he's really proud of the way that you have been seeking him I just see whether this is one person or if this is a few of y'all

but I see this visual of a young girl and her legs are crossed and she's sitting on her bed and this is what you've been doing with the podcast. You've actually, like, you've been coming to class. You're like sitting down with your notepad and you have your binder. I don't know, you have a journal, you know, you have highlighters, pens, you have your Bible, and you sit down and you learn every day and you come to class. Like, this podcast is like class for you.

And the Lord loves that so much. He just loves your dedication that you've already had. But there's something that he wants to ignite deeper in your soul. And I believe that it's just a deepening of relation with just the spirit. Like he wants you to show, he wants you to see that there's more in the spirit. And so I believe that this. is an opportunity for everyone listening to root deeper in the spirit of God. How much you love him.

I feel now in this moment that we're just supposed to pour out our adoration to the Lord. As he's pouring out his adoration to us, we are also pouring it to him too. Not already, I would encourage you to actually get on your knees on the floor. If you're not already there, if you are, that's perfect. Stay there. But I would encourage you to just get on the floor. Get on your knees. Put your head to the floor.

If you can, put your forehead right on the floor. And just rest. Let his presence just come over you. I feel he just wants to comfort you. Just stay there. Jesus, I ask that you comfort them. Father meet them where they're at. right now as they are at your feet god i ask for you to come and comfort them you know their heart you know where

they're at you know their circumstances and so lord i just ask to be a father to them right now they need their father god i also ask that you reveal to them right now that you are the only thing that they need in everything every need they need met can be met by you and so god i pray that you reveal that reality and truth to them right now, that they actually only need you. Thank you, Jesus, for your peace. Thank you that your peace is everlasting. Thank you that your presence and your spirit is everlasting, that it's infinite. That what we're experiencing right now is something we can continue to experience forever with you.

Jesus, we thank you for this baptism of the spirit. We need you, God. We have nothing without you. Thank you, Lord, that your spirit is refreshing, that it's living water, that you are actually refreshing us right now. You want to give us strength, you want to give us courage, you want to give us hope, you want to give us faith. Thank you, Lord, that you want to give us the fruits of the spirit.

Thank you for the spirit today. I ask that with this same spirit, you take our appetite away from anything that does not glorify you, that we want to become better sons and daughters, and we want to be purified even more today. And so God, I ask that you give us a distaste for the things that give you distaste, that if there's anything in our lives, in our lifestyle, in our community, that does not bring us closer to your feet, Father, will you just give us a distaste, a discomfort in our stomach? God, I pray for a heightening of discernment. I pray that you take the craving away, God. Lord, we just repent for entertaining anything that goes against your word. God, will you make us new right now?

Will you make us new? Ignite us, God, and set us on fire. Set us on fire. Set us on our word. Set us on. fire. The Lord wants you to say out loud God, set me on fire. Ignite me, God. Set me on fire. Set my heart on fire for you. Ignite or reignite my fire for you, God. I want to burn for you, Jesus. I want to burn for you and only you. I want to burn. I want to burn. I want to burn for you. I want to burn for you. Jesus I want to burn for you I want to burn for you Jesus

Yeah I want to burn for you I want to burn for you Jesus I want to burn for you Oh Now if you are still on your face with the Lord

I totally understand So if you want to stay there, stay there, continue to be with him. But I will take us out of this slowly. It doesn't have to be abrupt. I thank you guys for trusting me with that. Thank you for allowing yourself to be open to the spirit. and I hope that the Lord met you. I hope that you met him.

I do have to say that the distractions were crazy while recording that. So I feel like that's a good sign that something happened, at least to one person, and that you really got to see the father's face. I hope you did. That was vulnerable and scary for me to do. but it's not about me, is it? It's about the Lord. And so, yeah, I just feel his peace right now. I actually don't have a lot of words to say. I just feel his peace. And I'm grateful for the way that he can travel through this podcast and he can meet you guys where you're at. Also, this is something that

you guys can do all the time. I would encourage you to do this as often. As often, you're not. As a as you want. I think the Lord, like I was saying earlier, he's really proud of the way that you're seeking wisdom and he's really proud of the way that you're seeking, you know, just wisdom in scripture and sermons and even this podcast. But he really wants you to just sit and soak in his spirit. So I would encourage y'all to do this. Just get in a place quiet. If the soaking music helps you put that on. It's on YouTube. You can find it anywhere or Spotify. But just sit with the Lord and really just soak in his presence because it's spirit and truth. Truth is very important, but we need to be constantly seeking his spirit and wanting to be face to face with him. So,

yeah, I thank you, Lord, for meeting us today. Guys, I don't actually have anything to say. I don't think want to hear me say anything. I think we're just like all zonked in the spirit right now. I don't know how to explain it. I feel it. I'm like, whoa. With that being said, let's see if there's some scripture that the Lord just wants to tie all of this in a bow and encourage y'all in. And that is how we we will close this episode. Okay, I'm just opening. Let's just see what he says. Okay, Jesus had us open to John 1415. Jesus promises the Holy Spirit. This is crazy. If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth. The world cannot receive him

because it isn't looking for him and doesn't recognize him, but you know him. because he lives with you now and later will be in you. No, I will not abandon you as orphans. I will come to you. Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live. When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me and because they love me my father will love them and i will love them and reveal myself to each of them yeah that feels really intentional from the lord y'all i just i just open the bible to that the lord wants you to know that the holy spirit is dwelling inside of you it's alive in you and he wants you to use it. He wants you to listen to it and he wants you to use it as a compass. I believe that it is the spirit that speaks to us and then scripture is the thing that really like nails

the coffin shut, you know what I mean? Seals the deal. It's like the spirit of God is the ultimate tool and weapon that we have with the truth. I feel like the word of God, the truth, the Bible, is a way to confirm the things that we're already feeling in the spirit. And so God really wants to encourage you in that today. And so just know that the spirit is very much alive in you.

And he wants you to use it. He wants you to use it. Well, y'all, what an interesting way to end season four. This is also the last episode of season four. But I don't know if we're going to do any more seasons moving forward. I think we're just going to do episodes. We're just going to keep coming out with episodes. I don't think we're going to block it off for like seasons anymore.

But technically this is the last episode of season four. And then we're just going to keep on, keep it on and just see what the spirit does in this podcast. But I'm really grateful for you all.
