Starting point is 00:00:04 All right, we're back, circling back podcast to you. Today morning. My name is Dave. Welcome to the show. Yeah, I'm back. Apologies. I was O-O-O-O yesterday. You were.
Starting point is 00:00:34 You left Daddy here. Who's Daddy? Handling the show, man. New Brett, Randy. You? Are you daddy? No, I was running. I was running.
Starting point is 00:00:43 point on the show yesterday and I don't like it dude and I need I before I get good at it I need like a lot of reps yeah you need a 10,000 hours I find myself just looking ahead to all the the ad reads we have coming up you're like all right let me go over maybe you should be in the presence like while the segments are going you need to live in the present it's not good I have an ad read coming up for you yeah that might be helpful that was meta um I did listen to I did some clip hopping I want I really wanted to hear some some of your Texas OU thoughts What you think? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:17 Pretty much, yeah. Disappointment all around. Yeah, I watched it with a lot of Texas fans, bigger, like, major Texas fans, and that was tough. Yeah, still bullish on the defense, but that's, that's about it. Would they give up one tutty? One tutty. 230 total yards, I think, something like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:42 Yeah. So, you know, I listened to a lot. I thought the show was good, though. Cool. Thanks, dude. That is cool. Sick. That's Clay.
Starting point is 00:01:51 That's Dylan's Dylan Schivory. Chelsea's out of town today. She's headed up to out Plano way for work. Staying the night up there. Parks is with his mother tonight. Okay. Tell me why it feels like I have a staycation tonight in my own home, you know? I don't get days to myself anymore, like ever.
Starting point is 00:02:10 It's great. No offense to, I mean, Chelsea, I love you. I'd much rather you be home with me, but it's got nice. It's a steak cache. What are you going to do? I'm going to probably take a gummy and just melt into the couch and watch a scary movie, I think. I haven't chosen it yet.
Starting point is 00:02:30 He's going to pull a Dylan. He's just going to microwave some salmon for himself. I've literally never done that. Why? Because it's just not a way to cook salmon. I mean, you got the house to yourself. You got the dogs there? You know, I could do.
Starting point is 00:02:51 I mean, I got a few ideas. I could walk over to Echo in Mexico and just belly up to the bar and have myself a dope dinner. That's what I could do. That's in play. Just saying. Sorry, I had the gram open and somebody did some post in here. Yeah. Go to carve.
Starting point is 00:03:12 Get you a filet and a wedge salad. No, it's too far I could literally walk to Edgel And you're gonna get so drunk You don't want to drive I'm not gonna drink tonight I told you I'm having a gummy I'll let you guys know
Starting point is 00:03:27 which scary movie I choose later Okay Sorry I was just checking on some things I was doing some social media stuff Boom Um anyway That sounds great man Yeah thanks dude
Starting point is 00:03:40 I wish Chelsea well on her venture to Plano up 35 That's a tough That's a tough place to stay Why is that? Just Plano. Just a lot going on. She'll be working.
Starting point is 00:03:50 She's not going to, like, bop around or anything. Is she going to get a per diem? I don't know. I don't know how that works. Probs? Is she going to expend some stuff? Probs. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:04 She works for a legit corporation. Whoa. Okay. I'm just saying like, oh, wow. I'm just saying like if we were to send Randy to Plano for work, I don't know why we would do that. Content. Plain old way. They probably cover your shit, but I don't know how it looks.
Starting point is 00:04:20 They have a probably more sophisticated system of reporting that stuff. Yeah, I don't know if you heard it's a legit corporation. Yeah. When we went to New York, you guys made Brett and I share a hotel room with a twin bed. Just one twin? It was maybe a fool. It definitely wasn't a queen. Really?
Starting point is 00:04:38 Is that true? Yeah. Full of full bed. Two grown men don't fit in a full bed very well. No. I'm sorry. I'm sorry Dave stayed at the Bowery
Starting point is 00:04:51 Did Brett? Never mind Um Randall Treembecky Hi Dave That was not I did not book that hotel I promise you that
Starting point is 00:05:02 I would stay there again though Ran into some celebs What's up man Starlight from the boys What do you know with the flip flops today I got a toathing going on So I'm just making sure that I don't like putting I don't like putting
Starting point is 00:05:16 my feet in closed-toed shoes when that's happening. It's nothing bad, but I just... What's the toe thing? Like, what's the nature of the thing? I'm preventing an ingrown toenail. Okay. You need some room in there to... Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:31 I don't like that. Do you cut the V in the top of your toenail? You know, that's the trick. That's the trick? That's one trick. So they have room to, like... Tricks are for kids. Man, I don't know about this.
Starting point is 00:05:44 I wouldn't do it. I don't know that I've ever had the... ingrown. Now, I do have that pinky toe that is just the dumbest looking nail. It's not even a nail. It's like whatever, like the first layer of keratin or whatever that builds the nail. You've never had an ingrownail? I don't think so. Oh, dog. I have to be careful when I cut or else I'll get them. I've only had one, bad one that I had to go to the podiatrist for. But anyways, I'm happy to be here. Got the people at my apartment ripping up my flooring soon. That should be fun. Been dealing with a leak in my dishwasher for the past like three, four weeks.
Starting point is 00:06:18 So it's finally got to a point where it's like I had to call emergency maintenance and they're sending a second plumbing team out. Here's a thing with Randall. When he has something like that go wrong, it lingers, man. It's like he's dealing with it for like way longer. And then like he got in today, said what's up, put his bag down and was immediately out there on the phone. And he's, we're like, uh-oh.
Starting point is 00:06:44 And it's like, dude, is it still the dishwasher? Like, because you were talking about that two weeks ago. Well, it was originally our old dishwasher was like bubbling up. Like, and whenever we ran it, bubbles would come out and then it would drip a little bit. I was like, all right, well, this is annoying. And we kept on having maintenance come and look at it. He couldn't see the leak and they had us record it. But then they weren't using soap.
Starting point is 00:07:06 And they're like, well, what did soap are using? We're like, we're using one little cascade pod. This is nothing crazy. They eventually are like, all right, we'll just replace the unit. And ever since they replaced the unit, now we're getting a constant. leak that's just going underneath our floorboards, our laminar floorboards in there. And it's just not been good. And they called the plumbing.
Starting point is 00:07:24 They thought it was a kitchen sink issue. Clearly it's not. It's still happening. Imagine getting your unit replaced. Okay. Well, you got part of your unit removed. Yeah. Would the balls be considered the unit?
Starting point is 00:07:39 What are you talking about, man? I'm talking about your besectomy. Oh. Okay. I was talking about something else. You got to take advantage. You can't get walked on by the apartment complex. No, I've been very much back and forth in documenting this stuff.
Starting point is 00:07:51 And what I called this morning was I'm calling the emergency maintenance line. That's the move. So when they come to me and be like, look, you didn't tell us about this leak soon enough. Now it's permeating the room or whatever. Yeah, but no, no, no, I went to the emergency line. There's quite a paper trail or a digital e-paper trail. So I am definitely not on the hook for this. That much I know.
Starting point is 00:08:13 But so, yeah, they had to be. plumbers come out. It's also the shitty parties, they would always come. They would always arrive, David. When I wasn't home and my girlfriend was and she just had like a really hard day being a nurse or she had to go like let her friends in that came in at three in the morning this weekend. Like it was just like always the worst time when they would come. So you ever fire back with, well, I had a really tough day being a producer. Yeah. Dave called me a little bitch for no reason. dude i had people reaching out after that patreon like dude totally on your side randy i don't know why randy's i don't think they were antagonizing you before the show even started it's just a weird move it was literally the most kind ready dave no it was a uh ready dave no it was a uh ready dave no it was
Starting point is 00:09:01 recording recording yeah i'm sitting here right day i i would i need a little condescending i'm just getting it i might need to like just screenshot and just like put the all the arrows like mike away from face slouch thing but anyways I'm happy to be here hey we're happy you're here too yeah dude yeah yeah for sure how was golf we got a big show yeah how was your how was your little trip on at eastway hey it's hard money mic it's time for this weekend in fun we can just do that well how is your weekend and fun you're not gonna let it run do you want to i want the glue okay they want the glue they want the glue like that one guy doesn't it's time for this weekend in fun bro let's go out this There's a crazy event happening.
Starting point is 00:09:43 I like to turn off. Broden is a crazy event happening. We had the party and it was lit. Is there somebody anti-grouped recently? Yeah. Yeah. Comments. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Why? Let's go. I can't imagine how vibe into this, no matter what situation you're in. It's got to get something for everybody. At DC Rough on Instagram, it's actually has nothing to do with the golf. It's just my day yesterday.
Starting point is 00:10:06 I just did a post if you want to see where I was yesterday. I'm going to go check that out while you're talking. The golf was sick. I always is. Pine Dunes, East Texas way. Great golf course. If you can turn the ball over right to left, you're in great shape. If you hit it straight, you're in good shape. If you're a righty and you play a fade, you're going to probably struggle a little bit.
Starting point is 00:10:31 But either way, that course, that course rules just south of Tyler. We just did it, man. We did our little Ryder Cup thing. I went up Thursday. watched a watch some uh i watched some bad NFL football Thursday night completely like forgot about like it was great because i we watched that cowboy game and then like the weekend just went on and i didn't have like three days to just dwell on it yeah instead get it out of the way get the paint out of the way cool man cool you guys laid just a
Starting point is 00:11:02 big fat turd sure did out um and then the longhorns did the same thing Saturday and I was like I was pulling for it. I was like, what the hell was that? Yeah. But, you know, went out, played some more golf, and it was great. Rody just having a fucking blast yesterday. I got to tell you, the apple cannon is one of the dopes things I've ever had to have seen. Okay.
Starting point is 00:11:27 The thing, when they said, hey, there's an apple cannon. If you guys want to go check it out. Okay. Like a potato gun. Pop it in there. Chamber it. That thing shoots out with maximum velocity. You can't even see the apple.
Starting point is 00:11:41 It's going so fast. It is way more than I thought. I thought it was going to be like a cute little... There's no recoil on this thing. No, man. That's sick. I can tell you about Apple cannons. They used to have one back in high school and again,
Starting point is 00:11:55 some shenanigans about them. Dude, my buddy's potato gun. I've talked about it before. That thing, like five, six hundred yards. Yeah. Insane. They're dangerous, man. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:05 No, that was out in Georgetown. That's called Sweet Eats. And it is essentially like... I don't know. 60, 70, 80 acres. Oh, yeah, here we go. Give me the volume. You want the volume?
Starting point is 00:12:20 I want the volume. You got to hear this thing for full effect. It's a visual show. Watch us on Spotify or YouTube. Let a rip. Dude, he nailed the target, too. That is sick. Dude, it's so fun.
Starting point is 00:12:34 Just firing, like, I paid for, like, 40 apples. How dope is that? That's awesome. Yeah, so it's just basically like come out here. We've got a, we've got a maze. We've got like the wheat field maze or whatever. Pumpkin patch, like thousands, tens of thousands of pumpkins. They grow Christmas trees on site.
Starting point is 00:12:59 They've got a zip line. There's also a zip line at the end. So whatever. Is that the only reason you were there? That's the only reason we went. It's great. And the best part is like, You kind of like, it's not like we got there early.
Starting point is 00:13:14 There's not that many people out there. They also didn't have a ton of people working. So it was like, we just kind of go do shit without like a lot of, you know, red tapes. We just kind of went and did shit. It was, it was dope, man. There was a guy walking around with an African raven on his wrist. And he's telling us, he's like, yeah, this is Lucy. This is, you know, we love her.
Starting point is 00:13:35 It's a sick bird, dude. He was a bird expert. And we're like, wow, that's badass. And he's like, yeah. Yeah, we really love her. I love her so much. I got her inked on me, and he should point it down. He had like a full-sized tattoo of this bird.
Starting point is 00:13:48 I'm like, whoa, you weren't kidding. Also great if you need to deliver a message to Winterfell. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. They're large, intimidating birds. They're big. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:00 I told you. I saw two of them right outside my apartment recently. We had one here outside one time, and it was so loud. I was like, that's a big crackle. And then I pulled up on it and we're like, oh, no, those are, those are ravens. Yeah, it's a very intimidating bird. So check it out. That was it.
Starting point is 00:14:15 My weekend. That's it. Nothing crazy. Played some golf. Body held up. Feeling good. Good. Feeling good.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Some ibuprofen in the mix, but whatever. Whatever. This guy is unc. Some high noons. Parks has been using that term a little bit too loosely with me lately. Because you're his father. That's weird. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:43 Yeah, but you are Unk. It's true. Yeah. Rodi got the game ball yesterday or Sunday. I missed his game. Of course, he gets the game ball. I'll tell my miss. That's fine.
Starting point is 00:14:52 Was he mashing? Yeah, three hits. And then he was a pitcher and he got two outs at home. Two critical outs. Nice. The team we tied. And every out counts. Man, Parks got called out last night for batter's interference.
Starting point is 00:15:07 I'm pretty pissed off about this. And I was like, dude, you're just going to throw him out? Like, why not just, send the guy back to second base call a warning Park was so upset so I don't even get to bat do his bat down
Starting point is 00:15:21 it's like dude I'd be pissed too I'm sorry man that's a play that you never will like a kid is not gonna practice or prep for because you teach him like if there's a play like you get out of the way so he was in the batters box and then the guy was stealing third
Starting point is 00:15:33 and he steps out right and he steps out I guess in the way of the throw which didn't really affect the throw either way no warning just Rung him up. Also, either way, at that age, they're not throwing anybody out at third.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Just gonna hate to break it to them. And plus, parts, like, I can tell when he's conk-ball in the box and he's gonna mash, and he was about to mash. And he was, he was upset.
Starting point is 00:15:55 Speaking of mashing, monster mashing, spooky season today. Mm-hmm. Right? Is that today? It's a Tuesday? That is today.
Starting point is 00:16:02 Oh, yeah. Yeah, I put it together and decided, when I originally was like, well, we can't put this out. We won't be able to do this show. It's just, by far,
Starting point is 00:16:11 like, some of the stuff is just too real. Some of my favorite style stories, they're just stories that you read them and you know, no one made this up. Like this is too, like, even if it's like two paragraphs long, it's like,
Starting point is 00:16:25 it's just somebody's like, hey, this happened to me and there's no explanation. I didn't dress it up with a bunch of like, you know, I didn't, I didn't really like, embellish?
Starting point is 00:16:38 Not embellish. What's the word? Like, I didn't try to, make it like a story. Yeah. It's just like, this is what happened. And that's some of those are some of my favorite because like, you know they're real.
Starting point is 00:16:47 These are the facts, Jack. That's it. No fluff. Spooky season drops today. And Brett kind of mentioned it on yesterday's podcast, but we're going to be creating some YouTube playlist for starting with spooky season. I've been going through and just taking some notes, some old past episodes. I was in here just reading the synopsis of some of these.
Starting point is 00:17:07 I was getting spooked. Like I was, I had like goosebumps going. just from reading the summaries and remembering somebody's story. So if you've never joined the Patreon, never done spooky season, check out the playlist once we get them up, hopefully later this week, and get a little taste, and then you'll probably want some more. There's a young lady who submitted a story whose name I recognize, and she is a longtime listener, but never dipped her toe into the paywall waters,
Starting point is 00:17:37 the Patreon. on. And this is her first month being a patron. Welcome. I'm going to read her story. Okay. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome Zbiotics. Tell you what. Nothing better than going on a little boys golf trip and having Zbiotics. Oh, that's coming. That's coming clutch, man. Especially when you got to get up early.
Starting point is 00:17:57 I had a, our first morning, I had a 740 tea time. Imagine not using Zbiotics the night before. It's a game-changing product. I drink the night before, or excuse me, but before I night out with drinks. or if I'm not even going up, I'm just hanging out with the boys just doing our thing out at Pine Dunes. Zbiotics, bang. I do it before I drink.
Starting point is 00:18:17 It's awesome. It's a pre-alcohol probiotic drink. The world's first genetically engineered probiotic was engineered by a PhD microbiologist to break down. It's ced aldehyde, Dylan. I think you pronounce that better than I did yesterday. It's an unwanted byproduct of alcohol metabolism, as you know.
Starting point is 00:18:36 Yeah. Make pre-alcohol your first drink of the night drink responsibly and enjoy your next day activities. Zbiotics has sold more than 14 million bottles and earned the trust of thousands, including us. Like I mentioned, pull into Frankston, Texas. I mean, the guys are already there. Some of the guys that already played, they played an extra round that Thursday. They've already been having some drinks. I get in, they're like, hey, you want one? And I'm like, I do. I just had this impulse. I want that. But first thing, I got to stop you there, Chief.
Starting point is 00:19:09 I had my prebiotic, my Zbiotic time first. And it was very helpful with that early tea time. Try for yourself today. If you're unsatisfied, they will refund your entire order. No questions asked. Go to Zbiotics.com slash steam. Use code steam for 15% off your first order. Zbiotics is a partner of ours.
Starting point is 00:19:29 We are huge fans. Zbiotics.com slash steam. Use code steam for 15% off your order. This has been sent a number of times. This is coming to a washed media Instagram page near you. It's Zuck. He's back. I don't really know what he's doing.
Starting point is 00:19:51 I've never seen someone like someone who's got to. Look at him just staring at it. He's like, fuck, I got to drink this. He has to know. He has to be just so in his head that he is just beefing it so hard. It's the Zuck Guinness video. The hair on the lad to his left is something too, but that's not what this video is about.
Starting point is 00:20:10 This is kind of nightmare blunt rotation. Let's just play. Let's just watch. This is called Zuck having a beer. I was actually talking about this at dinner yesterday. My favorite thing is I have my muse, whose name is Euler, constantly sourced, increasingly obscure teas. Dude. Okay.
Starting point is 00:20:30 I was actually talking about my dinner yesterday. I wonder if he's not a beer guy or just Gettus in particular that makes him kind of recoil like that. It's so bad that it's almost like he has to. hide his laughter. You can tell like he takes a sip and it's in his mouth and he's like, I don't want to swallow this, but there's a camera in my face so I know I have to. So then he like just chokes it down. This would be like if buzz, buzz balls drop the bag. And they're like, hey, we just want you guys to just, you know, just kind of rip this limerita one on camera. It's we've got. And then you're just trying to not laugh at how bad it is. It's a Guinness.
Starting point is 00:21:06 This dude has clearly never had a Guinness in his life. And the way he keeps shifting. Like, He's just so uncomfortable. Why does he put himself in these situations? Dude, he's just, the nerd gene is just so strong with this guy. He can't, he can't evade it, man. It's apparent in everything that he does. You know, I kind of pushed back on you when you were like, dude, I could take Zok. You know, I could take Zok.
Starting point is 00:21:35 That's not very braggatious of me to say. I'm saying, like, I'm kind of at the point where I'm pretty, sure I could take so. Like, anybody realized this, this reaction to a Guinness, I'm not losing, I'm not losing a fisticuff battle with this guy. Plus, dude, I mean, I already registered. Oh, yeah. Even if it's a, even if it's a beer that's not good and Guinness is good.
Starting point is 00:22:02 I mean, I know that it's not, like, not everyone loves Guinness. I really like it. I don't love it. But for me to have this kind of reaction, it has to be something I truly just detect. I guess I kind of feel this way, not this bad, but like IPAs, I tell you some, I'm like, I don't understand. I don't like IPA, you'll get this from me. You'll get like immediate like, yeah, I'm not doing that again. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:27 But the full body visceral reaction is crazy. Like, it's crazy. Just shifting around. Like, ooh, it's like he just got like the willies. He can't relax. Like, he can't just let his body be loose. He's just so stiff and. Is that the difference between him and like guys like, uh,
Starting point is 00:22:43 where he's just, he's hyper locked in on whatever it is he does. I mean, some people are just inherently awkward people, and that, that's who Zuck is. As successful as he is, um, he, it's nothing, all the money in the world isn't going to change who he is as a person, and that's just awkward. Is he a manhunter? Well, I also threw on here that, I don't know if you guys saw over the weekend, that it was the anniversary of the smoking these meets, and he went live on Instagram for, to do it again.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Yeah. 10 year anniversary. I mean, yeah, this is an instant classic. So this is the new one? Yeah, this is a new one. This is the same property? Is this the one that we found out he built like a normal house, like a normal house like we would live in on his estate just to have like a normal vibe for shit?
Starting point is 00:23:37 Is that a real thing that he did? I swear. That's kind of awesome. I swear that was part of this. That'd be the coolest thing he did if that's true. Like he says this is him trying to be a regular guy like I'm gonna pop over to the normal house and hang out and feel normal for a bit Yeah still smoking these meats smoke whatever the fuck we want Oh shit no smoking meat smoking some meats that you smoking some meats smoking some meats smoking meat
Starting point is 00:23:59 Oh gee meat smoking meats smoking meats a lot that's smoking these meats you know we smokes your meats for you Smokes meats like mews does smoke these meats okay smoke meats every day How's it going? So yeah, this was his actual post, but like, yeah. So he was just smoking, smoking meats over the weekend. I was saying, Dr. Dre. Smoking meats every day, yeah. I believe so.
Starting point is 00:24:25 Seems pretty cool to me, Dylan. I don't hate that. But yeah, it's crazy. It looks like the same exact place, the same exact green egg. That fence doesn't look the same, does it? I don't know. Stained it. Maybe they just put there to make it.
Starting point is 00:24:41 The longer hair does look better on. them though. Yeah, it really does. It's like she's gonna be the... Where is his main residence? I don't know. He didn't live here, does he? I know he has a big compound in like Hawaii or some shit. Yeah, you're right. Or Hawaii, Randy. Yes, thank you.
Starting point is 00:25:01 Didn't he buy up, did he buy up some land post fire? Wasn't there some shittiness there? I don't know. I'm just saying things. I know Oprah had in the rock had some something in there. I don't know if he was ever really involved. I'm not sure. Look at that, Dylan, some glissies. Sure, man.
Starting point is 00:25:19 Also, I guess he just had people. Like what you see? Yeah, people come in. I guess he just called T-Pain at one point. Oh, hell yeah. These boys with T-Pain? Oh, don't bring T-Pain into this. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:34 Look, man. He's kind of trying to steer the narrative a little bit more, steer it back in his favor because we've got this new social network that depicts him, I don't know, the sequel or, the continuation of. Only seen the trailers and Jeremy Strong. Is that who is?
Starting point is 00:25:50 Correct. What a great like performance just for the trailers. If you are, if you are someone who gets into acting and just likes good performances, if you're into Thesbians, this is, this movie's for you.
Starting point is 00:26:03 Where are you standing on Jeremy Strong? I like Jeremy Strong. Yeah. You know like his deal. He's, he's a method guy. Yeah. He's really in,
Starting point is 00:26:10 he's, yeah. And he's a great actor. I should do, I should do more method stuff during spooky season. I bet hanging out with him. him is a just in a casual setting is a wild ride. I think most people like don't have a pleasant experience working with them because of that. You hear that about a number of actors. They're in the
Starting point is 00:26:28 zone and it's like, hey man, like, I'm just asking you if you know like what time the shoot's going to be tomorrow. Like, can you just give me like a normal response and not do it as Zuckerberg? It would be like if I stayed in like a character, like if I stayed in the Mexican guy who spoke in it with the Jersey Italian accent. It'd be like if I did that all day. I only do that in my car currently to myself. But yeah, it would be like if I stayed in that character. Are you seen as Rockers, Rita?
Starting point is 00:26:56 I think all like elite actors are, I think you've got to be a little bit, a little bit screwy, you know, a little weird. John Ligizamo. Like to be able to, to be able to like test all day. To be able to tap into a character at the level that some of these people do. What if this Lamo was the pest all day? What if he was method acting the pest? His friends would dwindle to zero. He's no one would want to be around.
Starting point is 00:27:18 Well, he's literally the pest. Right. And they're like, dude, hey, we can't do it anymore with you. You've been a pest literally on and off the screen for months now. And we just can't do it. You've got to, hey, listen, like we typically enjoy your company. You've got to stop being the pest, dude. You're literally pestering us.
Starting point is 00:27:38 Yes. Good point, David. Thank you. Yeah. But like, I just think about like Jesse Eisenberg's, I mean, fine actor, but like him in the social network compared to Jeremy Strong. I'm like, this guy sounds exactly. Has the look. Sounds like him and the mannerisms are exactly Zuck.
Starting point is 00:27:59 Like, so I will go watch that. I will. So shots to Zuck, I guess. He's always just doing shit, though. Like whenever I see Elon in the headlines or like videos, it's never anything good. And Bezos is really taking a backseat. is not really in the headlines other than space stuff,
Starting point is 00:28:17 but Zuck is just doing things, like kickboxing in the middle of the ocean or smoking meat. Because he's trying so hard to appear as a normal person. He is. That's why he's in a pretty plain-looking backyard with a $300 smoker behind him, smoking meat. I can guarantee you he has his rib recipe
Starting point is 00:28:36 that he got from somewhere and he does not deviate from it. His voice probably cracks like mine, too. Let me try that again for the clip. I guarantee you, he has his rib recipe let me try that again i guarantee you he has his rib recipe he's used it for 10 years he doesn't deviate from it there's no like i like to hit it with a little bit of this and they're perfectly fine and they're good i bet they're good it's hard to fuck up ribs but i bet
Starting point is 00:29:03 i bet he is very by the book i mean that's probably why he's very successful we have smoked ribs on a live stream ourselves hey man and they got gassed up brett brett claims they were very good I have not been able to replicate those. I've been chasing that live stream rib for cheese. It's probably five years now, and I can't get there. Damn. It's a real beating. I'm sorry, man.
Starting point is 00:29:27 It's okay. But yeah, I'm now saying, like, I don't fear Zuck in hand-to-hand. Nor should you. What about an awakeboarding competition? He's got me. I can get up on a wakeboard. You're not going to see me do anything other than just, like, you know. There's going to be a video taken from the boat of me.
Starting point is 00:29:43 I might throw the rope back. And it's going to be about a 90-second video. People are going to be like, wow, this is awesome. This could have been like a 10-second video, though. Because you're not doing anything. But thank you, though, for showing us you went to the lake. When he did it in like the inflatable, I think bald eagle costume, I was like, I feel like that's dangerous.
Starting point is 00:30:00 You fall in. That's like a waterboarding situation very easily. And then got to start panicking. But I guess he didn't fall in. He was threatening. In fact, he just went full epic bacon. Yeah. He kind of did.
Starting point is 00:30:13 And that's okay. Just never forget who the first person was to drink a beer while wig surfing. Yeah, literally the first. John Leguizamo. Me. Really? Yes. First person to ever do it.
Starting point is 00:30:26 It was documented on TFM circa 2012. Where's that video? That needs to be something we post. It's just a still image. Okay. But there's no rope. And you're, I'm surfing and I'm cracking a cold one. I just, it's so shocking to me that you were the first when, like, drinking.
Starting point is 00:30:43 On a boat has been around like really since like, you know, the golden age of sailing. But you were the first. Yeah, but how long is wake surfing been around? I don't know. Not down long. Gotcha. So Dill was the first to do that. He was also the first to hit a sandwich and then shoot the ball with a shotgun.
Starting point is 00:31:02 Yes, which is also documented with video. And then do a really weird scream that doesn't seem like a noise he would make. You remember that video better than I do. I don't remember. There's like a high pitch. I don't even know if it's you. And it's not me. There's a high-pitched, like, laugh or reaction.
Starting point is 00:31:16 And I thought it was you. And I was like, that does not sound like Dylan. I wouldn't even know how to go about finding that video. I don't, it probably doesn't exist anymore. Oh. Because it was posted. I've got some faith in the chat. Chat, I would love to see that video if you have it.
Starting point is 00:31:31 I'm out San Saabaway with, with my boys at my friend Jared's Ranch. 1950s, 1960s. No, it was more recent than that. That's when the week surfing started. No. What? That's when the origins were Were you're around in the 50s?
Starting point is 00:31:45 Are you serious? Surfers began to test full-sized surfboards behind motorboats through traditional ski boats at high and created small wigs. Shut up, Randy. Yeah, honestly, man. Fucking fact-checking.
Starting point is 00:32:00 In the 80s and 90s, the skirfing era. What? The first patent was in 1997. I remember the scurf. What's the scurf? It was almost, like a you know those those things that people bring to the beach and throw down and it's kind of
Starting point is 00:32:17 slide yeah it looked like that had grip tape on top and it was and it was like a wake but basically a wakeboard without bindings you know that thing was gripping but but thinner okay well hear about how about this on the 2000 presence was the wakeboat revolution uh they introduced special inboard v dry boats with water ballast tanks and electronic wave shaping systems such as the Malibu Surfgate in 2012. That's when it took off. That's when the revolution happened. No, really, that's when it took off.
Starting point is 00:32:47 That's what I'm talking about. Interesting. Ballast system. Fat sacks, they call them, too. What were they called them? Fat sacks. If you had a wakeboard boat with a fat sack, I mean, you could get a fat-ass wake.
Starting point is 00:32:58 Turning standard boat wakes into clean surfable waves. How about that? Dave, you learned something today. Say it. Say that you learned some fucking facts today. I'll learn this a few months ago. go. Warby Parker has the best buying experience of any glasses company I've ever participated with. Does that make sense? Let me put that differently. Warby Parker is so easy. Why did buying glasses always feel
Starting point is 00:33:25 so complicated and overpriced? You see what they're doing now. You can do an eye exam in the store now. You skip the middleman? Guess what? Hit the road, pal. Hit the road, pal. Hit the road, Randy. Hit the road, dude. You love going. You love going in store. You might have found, yeah, you went, because look, when they were like, hey, we want to sponsor the show, we also want you guys to get some glasses. I did my try on virtually. I did it online, as did you, which is incredibly easy and accurate. Randy went into the store, which is an option. What did you get, Randy?
Starting point is 00:33:56 I believe I got the Carlton's. Got the Carlton's. I got the brimmers. You got the brimmers, you got the transition lenses. Yes, and I got the brimmer's sunglasses. They didn't just make buying glasses easier. They made the entire experience easier. Like Dylan said, you can actually go into one of the stores and get an eye exam right there, no running around to multiple spots.
Starting point is 00:34:16 Everything is super clean, modern, and honestly feels more like a wellness experience than a typical eye doctor visit. Warby Parker is covered by many major eye insurance plans. Just enter your info to see if you're eligible for benefits on frames, contacts, or eye exams. If they are, then you're automatically getting those applied to you. Yeah, like I said, I've got the sunglasses. I always get asked like, dude, who makes those? And I'm like, Warby, they're Warby. They're very cool.
Starting point is 00:34:44 So here's what we got, the one-stop shop, eye exams, glasses, contacts, sunglasses, don't piece it together anymore. They have over 300 retail stores across the United States. There's a good chance. There's one near you. Maybe the best part. For every pair they sell, they also give a pair to someone in need. They've distributed over 20 million pairs of glasses to people in need through its buy a pair,
Starting point is 00:35:04 give a pair program. Right now, buy one pair of glasses and get 20. percent off any additional pairs at warby parker.com slash steam that's 20 percent off any additional pairs when you purchase one pair at w a r b y parker dot com slash steam so kelly clarkson i'm going to tell you something i believe she's a plano uh native really to bring it full circle i've always been a like i'm not going to buy your record but i support you because you're you're from the d fw area maybe she's not from plainer it doesn't matter she's D.F. Dub. I'd be like
Starting point is 00:35:46 Rowlett or something. I'm going to support you. Since you've been gone is a great song. It's a great pop song. Since you been gone? Yeah. Burleson, Texas. Burleson, Texas. I was so close. I mean, she was the American Idol. She was
Starting point is 00:36:02 the American Idol. If you ever at a piano bar and they have somebody who can do since you've been gone and do it right, it's a piano bar banger. Okay. Right now. The crowd will get into it. I've never really heard anything negative about her. In fact, I think she's got really good PR generally.
Starting point is 00:36:19 So I can already tell you're setting up that you're going to side with Clarkson in this situation. Well, hold on. So when I saw this, I saw her post about the cool little art of play, Brooklyn store. There's a place that I probably wouldn't have gone in. It sounds very Brooklyn.
Starting point is 00:36:38 It sounds so Brooklyn. And also, like, they'd see me in there and like a golf polo. And they're like, dude, no, we don't know, this is not a place for real cowboys. Kind of like when I went to Wheatsville down the street just to get a sandwich.
Starting point is 00:36:55 And they didn't even ask if I was a member of the co-op. Damn. They were just like, yeah, just keep moving, pal. Just go on. Hit the roll. Though, uh, when I saw that she was putting a store on blast,
Starting point is 00:37:08 I was like, huh. She's normally like, if you read Dumois, if you get some tea, like, oh, she's a great interaction. If you see her in the wild, she's so friendly, she's great. Now I'm wondering, what's going on? All over like a $15,000 mechanical bird. Yeah, that was not for sale, apparently. But the sign said it was.
Starting point is 00:37:30 There was a price tag on it. There was a price tag on it. Yeah. Which would lead you to believe that it is for sale for the price mentioned or listed right there in front of you. Facts. The stores come out, they issued their, they issued a good PR. They must have been working with the legends up the street here. A good, like, what you should say if you are embroiled in a controversy like that.
Starting point is 00:37:56 She said she was treated like Julia Roberts character in Pretty Woman, who goes into the the high dollar boutique on Rodeo Drive, and she was treated like she can't afford anything in there. Okay, part of me is like, all right, Kelly Clarkson, as far as I know, has had no controversy of the sort. Coming by this bird, Kelly Clarkson. Right. I'm gonna lay her. Do you think she was saying like, they didn't recognize me as Kelly Clarkson?
Starting point is 00:38:30 Or they just generally treated me like crap. They probably thought of music. Because if it's the former, then that is not a good look for Kelly Clarkson. They probably are like, oh, you're so corporate with you. You show your TV. Maybe they're very anti-American and she is the American idol. So they're like, oh, man, you probably didn't be on vice. When you share this story with Twitter, you have to know how it's going to look as a famous person.
Starting point is 00:38:52 People are going to interpret this story as like, oh, you wanted special treatment because you're Kelly Clarkson. She just wanted to buy the bird. Yeah, which might not necessarily be the case. I'm just saying she should have been more aware of that when she decided to share it with Twitter. The word that she used, she said they said, we have something comparable, maybe like insinuating. like maybe it liked something a little bit cheaper but if it's Kelly Clarkson what was the price for this 15 what did you try was no price apparently she said there was a price tag 15 they said on the price tag but then they were saying it wasn't it wasn't available for to purchase right
Starting point is 00:39:28 Kelly Clarkson which she is it what she accepted as like oh you don't think I can afford this because you think I'm just Kelly it's Kelly Clarkson she's got crazy money right she can afford it but did Did they know that she could afford it? Did they know that she was Kelly Clarkson? That's what I would like to ask these people, but I'm not going to get that opportunity. Look into that, Cameron's. Talk to those people.
Starting point is 00:39:51 I'm not going to talk to that people. It was $1,500 on the price tag. $15,000. Oh, $15,000. Okay, I was going to $1,500 is not like super expensive. This is not your grandma of birth. Oh, okay. I mean, like, compare it for like fine art type stuff.
Starting point is 00:40:02 I'm like, yeah, everything I've seen is like in the 10, you know, tens of thousands, $1,500 would have been, That to me would have been like, someone saying, oh, you can't afford that. It would have been interesting unless she was just like rubbish.
Starting point is 00:40:13 I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt here because I don't think she has any prior history of acting this way, as far as I know. Maybe they did treat her like crap. Will got treated like crap by George. Yeah, they thought they said he was casing the joint when he was in there looking around. He's like, what?
Starting point is 00:40:34 Remember that story? Yeah. Yeah, casing the joint. And Will's like, I just, just looking at clothes. What are you talking about? So, I mean, it happens. People get profiled. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:49 She says, hang on. The narrative they're going to go with, the whole conversation we had when I asked you if it was for sale. Wilst pointing to the price tag hanging on the wall with the title singing bird didn't happen. Is you elevator eyed me saying in a condescending toad elevator eye. I get what that is, but I've never heard it. I've never heard that either. That's interesting. I like it.
Starting point is 00:41:17 Yes, it's for sale, but it costs $15,000. So if you'd like me to find something comparable for you, I can. That all never happened. And now it's not for sale. Okay, cool. So you're not only rude, but you're a liar. Got it. And by the way, I obviously support small business.
Starting point is 00:41:30 It's literally trying to edit a small business, trying to purchase things. I love a small business. Okay. Your store is really cool. Unfortunately, you aren't. Damn. That's tough. It's tough when the person you, uh,
Starting point is 00:41:44 kind of big time than your store ended up being Kelly Clarkson who has a rather large platform walking down the street Kelly Clarkson great movie by the way you know I need this
Starting point is 00:41:57 mechanical bird Richard Gier is just a total silver fox in that one yeah silver fox boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom pretty woman no it's not it's pretty
Starting point is 00:42:10 Kelly Clarkson this isn't like Demi Lovato and that whole frozen yogurt situation. I feel like she was clearly in the wrong. I'm unfamiliar. This was like Demi Lovato went into this like small yogurt chop and like put them on blast
Starting point is 00:42:25 because they had like sugar-free options because it was, you know, perpetuating diet culture and like, you know, kind of like body shaming. She got, she got dunked on by the internet. I think pretty bad. Demi Lovato wants some ice cream to eat with the sugar. What happened? Are you sure about that?
Starting point is 00:42:42 Yeah. And then she was like, like, Didn't she lick it and run out? Because I think it was like It was like guilt free It's how it was like advertised You're gonna make
Starting point is 00:42:54 You see how you're trying to like Figure out what she was trying to say This is why she got criticized pretty heavily That is so if what you're saying is the accurate That is so stupid Come on Demi You gotta be better than that Bet you'd like to take her out for some ice cream
Starting point is 00:43:13 Yeah she doesn't do it for me Oh okay talented though i don't like jemmy lavato talented yeah name five songs i can't name one ladass i never heard of that one khani clock song shut off if i got up down and said like i can you know like even though i know i know i can't afford a fifteen thousand dollar bird i would still be like well fuck you you know it's what's cool is these days you never know who can afford it exactly Mark uh Fluancers
Starting point is 00:43:48 What's that one guy Zuckerberg Not the other No the other one The shark Mark Cuban Mark Cuban wears like $5 t-shirts sometimes
Starting point is 00:43:58 Like if he walks Rody gentleman t-shirts Sometimes It's a true story So it's like You just walk like trash I mean look at Adam Sandler Not the most
Starting point is 00:44:07 Raw-dress guy I just want the bird The cuckoo Give you the bird That was my anima. That was stupid. I want to see this bird. I wonder.
Starting point is 00:44:23 Yeah. There was some influencer type went into the store to question them. And I kind of skipped around it and see the bird. Did these people have like little beanies that were barely on top of their head? Sick. With a soy latte in one hand. I borrow James's jeans before I walked in there. Then they would know.
Starting point is 00:44:41 They're like, all right. They're like, all right, cool. You might be here to buy some stuff. of the art of play Kelly Clarkson gonna do a show that's a great song yeah they kind of like I feel like that song
Starting point is 00:44:59 because of the movie it became when you're a kid and you hear it like oh it's just like the cheesy movie song and it loses like you lose the fact that like no this is actually like a great song that's like don't let a movie ruin it for you yeah you can't you can't hear it without thinking of the movie now It's like Bob Seeger, like a rock.
Starting point is 00:45:20 Great commercial. Great song, but don't let, don't let a beer or a Chevy. Well, it was a truck. I think it was Ford. Ford truck commercial, like, ruin it. Just because he got the bag, it doesn't take away for that song rule, the fact that that song rules. I saw Phoenix at ACL, I think last year. And, like, all their music just reminded me of, like, old LG commercials or, like, Apple.
Starting point is 00:45:42 They were, like, in every single car commercial or tech commercial back in the day. that checks out yeah that checks out we'll continue to monitor we're not really taking like a firm stand one way or the other but we're going to track it yeah got to figure out like we're leaving room for her to be in the wrong here do we need a boycott kelly clarkson i don't know that's what i want to know hey what doesn't kill you makes you stronger dave i'll tell you that much the first trailer for uh bay watch reboot has been released by the way oh yeah yeah Don't put it on. Dylan's distracted.
Starting point is 00:46:20 If it's not Baby Gronk, it's Baywatch commercials. Someone tagged me. He said, big news for you, Big Dog. I was like, really? Am I a Baywatch guy? I mean, there are some babes in here. Who's the young lady in it? There's probably a number of them.
Starting point is 00:46:33 I don't know. I don't know. Anything else on the Baywatch thing? No, that's all God. Sorry. I mean, there's no doubt. This will suck, right? I want to go see Digger.
Starting point is 00:46:47 Dude. I just am seeing so much on the TL that I'm like, okay, well, I got to get in on this discourse. Major flop at the box office. Major flop. Really? Yeah. Tom Cruise doesn't flop.
Starting point is 00:47:02 That's weird. Did he use a prosthetic or? Come on, man. This episode is sponsored by Better Help. Saturday was World Mental Health Day, Dylan. I know. My brain didn't get the calendar invite. Yeah.

Starting point is 00:48:31 Well, Randy, roll that beautiful music. Oh, you want the music music. I got the music for you here. Yeah. We've been waiting for this one all weekend, Dave. Just because I'm out Monday, doesn't mean there's not going to be a JFF B3 and I believe it's warranted. Not every
Starting point is 00:48:54 week warrants a movement in the Fundex but a lot happened this prior weekend Dylan. A lot. Yeah. A lot. I can make some teams who probably aren't on it. Yeah. Texas. Florida. If there was a LSU. If there was a team that
Starting point is 00:49:12 was just not fun to watch at all, it's Texas. Yeah. Because you're just like looking, you're like, oh, it's got Cam Coleman. He did have a sick catch. He made some big boy throws. He had about four really big boy throws in that game. He's going to be fine. He's a great wide receiver. He'll be first round pick, I assume.
Starting point is 00:49:31 There's going to be some, look, I've getting a lot of pushback. People are starting to chirp. Husker Nation was on my ass. And they're like, Dave, oh, we're on Dave's A. About the JFF victory. We made Don Vito participate. He gets a vote.
Starting point is 00:49:47 He voted. He told him the wrong team, and he voted for LSU, even though they lost in a little year's failure. Shut up. It's the JFFB. And of course, I'm going to reveal this, starting with the number one team in the fun decks. Of course, this is completely subjective to Dave. The only biomarkers I'm looking for is fun.
Starting point is 00:50:10 I just want to have fun watching them play. Hell, you can be fun and lose, and you might make it. But that's not the case here. Run that music back, Cowboy. It's still going. The number one team in your JFFB3, just for, fun big three is Kentucky
Starting point is 00:50:27 okay Kentucky who's who's more fun to put on than Kentucky right now dude like we said we said so yesterday they are a tough out they're wills wildcats yeah well will's on board they're fun man
Starting point is 00:50:41 there's a guy on the trip we had we had two TVs going outside in the parking lot with tents over him he's an LSU guy he's watching the game and I was in the other room because they did not have the Bama Georgia game on. I'm in my room
Starting point is 00:50:58 watching that and I could hear it out there and I'm watching the end of Kentucky on my phone and I'm just like, oh my God. I was just having so much fun by myself. Shout out to former Longhorn who transferred CJ Baxter the running back who's having an excellent
Starting point is 00:51:15 season. Good for him. Kentucky's electric. Look, if you're going to just go for the dub, you're going to go for the win, go for two, you're going to you're going to get some points in the fun decks. In Kentucky, you've done it now two or three weeks to where you are just playing these games that just go down to it.
Starting point is 00:51:33 And even the games you lose, that Bama game, you were fond. The crowd was rocking. So Kentucky, welcome. Okay. You get two left. Number two, Dylan's favorite, Missouri Tigers. Ah. They took A&M to the absolute woodshed.
Starting point is 00:51:53 Did they figure it out? Did they get tired of the... why is Mizzou ranked? Oh, Mizzu's at 25 still? Of course, Mizzu's at 23. Like, do they get, are they finally tired of it? They finally going to live up to it. What's their running back's name?
Starting point is 00:52:08 Roberts. All I got to say, makes that game in November a little more interesting, Dylan. Dude, Jamal Roberts, who, if you remember, Ahmad Hardy is their stud running back who got shot. Right. So, Jamal Roberts is. Stepping up. He's the lead back right now.
Starting point is 00:52:24 828 yards rushing. already. Yeah, they, look, I know, no offense, a lot of teams are beating up on Texas A&M, including the aforementioned wildcats. This was just a decisive ass whipping. Yeah. So it's like.
Starting point is 00:52:42 Marcel Reed looks lost, man. His confidence is just absolutely shot. You can't hit anything. It's sad. But Missouri, you're welcome. To all the journalism people. All right. So we got SCC, SEC.
Starting point is 00:52:55 SEC. Are you going to mix it up? Oh, God. I mean, there's a number of options. I mean, Georgia's pretty fun. Are they that? Actually, Georgia is not fun. No. No, they're not. They're just a workman's like dub every week, man.
Starting point is 00:53:11 They're just a, they're just, they did destroy OU they're just Kirby smart. They're just they're just so, they're coach. It's a coach-centric team. Purdue had a pretty good win. Purdue had a pretty good win. Your number three team in the JFFV-3 is Wake Forest. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:31 Okay. What, they do? What, Randy? But they beat Purdue and double overtime. That's why I was just like, oh, okay. Wake Forest is worthy of, look, they're going to compete for the conference. They are competing for the conference. They have, I got the stats.
Starting point is 00:53:50 Their one loss is two, Miami. A game that was, the second half was, like, like they're in play there. They didn't get their ass kick by Miami by any means. They average like 37, 38 points a game. And, okay, one top 20 road win, three P4 wins. Wake Forest is worthy of note. Okay.
Starting point is 00:54:15 Worthy of note, Wake Forest. Check this out. This is going to be interesting. They fly across the country. for some late night action with Cal. Cow debuting the... Dead. Grateful Dead.
Starting point is 00:54:33 Yeah, the Grateful Dead inspired Unis, patches, whatever it is. So that's going to be fun. So you have Kentucky, number one, Missouri, number two, and Wake Forest. At number three. Look, man,
Starting point is 00:54:48 this can change. It's subject to change. Okay. They're a fun team. All right. So we got... We have Missouri, no, Kentucky,
Starting point is 00:55:01 Missouri and Wake Forest. You're locking it in. I'm locking it in. Okay. And don't forget, don't forget the demon deacons took down our Louisville Cardinals.
Starting point is 00:55:12 That's right. That's not an easy task. Louisville's got a lot going on. Louisville. Louisville. Yeah. What did you say? I said Louisville.
Starting point is 00:55:22 I don't know. You're saying it. How does Randy say it? Louisville. I'm supposed to say it. They're fun, man. So, look, if you got any issues with it, email me. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:55:34 I'll talk to you about it. The Huskers were on the cusp. I almost sent to Skir's eyes emoji text to the group, but it was premature. I don't want to get momentum reversed, but that happened on its own. What do you want to go from here? Do you want to talk about the chef? Let's look out. Do we have another read?
Starting point is 00:55:58 Are we finished? I didn't know if you were going to talk about your new viewing. I am, but it'll be short. I mainly just want to point out the accents in the show. Okay. You have another read, though, yes. Oh, I know. I know.
Starting point is 00:56:11 It's a little behind the courage. Let's do the Mexican-Italian chef. Okay. And then we'll do a read, and then we'll close it down with a little below talk on Netflix. Yeah, new character to walk around the house doing and your wife will be like, what are you, what's going on? Like, why are you becoming a different person?
Starting point is 00:56:28 I'm not. I'm just obsessed with this video, Chef Cruz. It's like if someone told you to, like, without hearing this accent first to try to mimic it, it's impossible. You can't do it. Like, this is the only guy that can do it. Somebody in, when I saw this on Twitter, it said, this is like a comtown bit. And this is, this is the most comtown bit ever. Is it?
Starting point is 00:56:49 It is. Yeah, let's just play it. It says, Chef Cruz, one thing you learned from Italians that you'll never forget. Chef Cruz is a Mexican-American. Yes. Who learned English coming up in the United States. Italian restaurant. And his accent is unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:57:05 Hey, let me tell you something. They tell me that making good food isn't about being fast. He's about to do things the right way. What do you mean by that? When I first started, I wanted to rush everything. But they tell me chef that you always stop me. They tell me, slow down. You're not only just making pizza.
Starting point is 00:57:23 You're making something people they're going to remember. Do you still follow what they tell you or what? Every single day, my guy. The way I straight the dough, the way I prepared the sauce, even the little detail. Most people don't notice. I learned Oanda from the Italian. Let me tell you this. After all these years, there is one thing I know for sure.
Starting point is 00:57:44 You can taste the difference when somebody actually cares about what they make it. Ciao, Bello, regato. They stop me. Ciao, Beirozzo. This guy's awesome. Oh, my God. I mean, you can't. You can't.
Starting point is 00:58:01 up with this on your own. This is the only way to do it is to work in a kitchen with Italian as a Mexican man. Have you seen, I don't even know if we talked about it, it probably got sent to TMD. The guy, he was, I believe he was Vietnamese or Laotian, who grew up and learned English in Louisiana. So he has an extreme Asian accent, like that guy, the other dude that we talked about. Hit the road, dude. And then he got to. So fucking, I don't know what anything about his citizenship. I just know he got deported to Laos and he's just over there doing TikToks with his like over the top Cajun like Creole accent. It's insane.
Starting point is 00:58:46 I want to see this. It's wild. Anyway. Yeah, this is. It's just so interesting. I saw a video too of this like Japanese girl who has a Japanese accent, but she learned English in Australia. So she has an Australian English accent It's so weird hearing like a different English accent
Starting point is 00:59:05 But as a second language Yeah This guy's great I mean this is so sick I wonder where I would love to know more like Where did he where did he learn like where was this? This has got to be this has got to be New York City or Jersey right?
Starting point is 00:59:24 That's where you learn this Yeah Like if he was learning the craft in Texas, he was he was learning English through Albanian, Albanian guys from New York City. Because like, like 50% of the rest of the pizza places in Texas, I feel like are Albanian dudes who make good pizza, by the way. But yeah, this is a new one. This is a new one for your boy who's just driving to work. If I'm like, if I just turn down the music, because I'm like, I'm tired of this, I'll just start doing this voice. I'll just start doing this voice. I'll just,
Starting point is 01:00:00 I'll just start doing a voice to myself and I'm like talking to other drivers. So it's a new one. It's a little, it's interesting. You're trying to figure out like, okay, where, because Spanish and Spanish and Italian, they're both Latin-based languages, right? So there's some overlap there.
Starting point is 01:00:18 Sure. Some similarities. It's so, this is like the best part of America. This is the melting pot. This is the melting pot. It's legitimately, it's legitimately, yeah. Well, no, because like, stop me. It's nothing about the working fast.
Starting point is 01:00:37 Dude, he's right. I mean, there's some bars in this, too. You got to put some love into that dough, man. There's some life lessons to be had. You can't just spin it above your head. Look, yeah. I mean, obviously the Mexican guy learning English from the New York Italian guys, that's what you're paying the price of entry for.
Starting point is 01:00:55 But it's a free game here. I want to try this pizza, too. I mean, it looked dope to me. What was that? It looked a little taverny. I just want to learn. I just, you know, I'd like to moonlight as a pizza chef. I'd like to be, I'd like to just kind of, I'd like to dabble.
Starting point is 01:01:14 I'd like to dabble in the pizza world. You're not going to do that. Dude, speaking of like Italian places in, uh, Kelly Clarkson putting small business on blast, how about Andy Milanakis is an Austin guy? And he just gave, he's given out, uh, Little Arthur's? Yeah. Never, I never heard that place, but he found some. good sandwich shop. I said it to Dave. I'm like, I didn't know, but he's helping small business.
Starting point is 01:01:37 We should try it. Is it an Italian place, do you think? It's a deli. Yeah, I think they have like a, it's like a sub shop or something. We'll have to try it out. I feel like Rogans shouted it out. Like that, or somebody said that they get it delivered to the comedy store, the mothership, whatever, which would make sense because it's on 6th Street. But yeah, I did not know. Would you recognize Milanacus? I don't think so. You know, I mean, he was after our time, after my time for sure. He was right between our times then. Because I remember watching, like, late at night.
Starting point is 01:02:09 Was he post Tom Green? He was definitely more Will's time. I think Will is a good, my oldest brother in Will, that area era was very. I would not have recognized Annie Milanochus. For me, it was like, Instagram now. Was it Tom Green, jackass, and then Andy Milano? No, Annie Milanochus, then Deerdeck? Deer Dick. I'm trying to think of the timeline if you were some, like, I feel like those are four
Starting point is 01:02:37 separate-ish eras of like, of programming. Annie Milanakis was very like a man show, maybe even like a little Carlos Miedemencia crossover to like that era. Was he MTV or Comedy Central? I thought he was MTV. He might have been late night Comedy Central what originally. I feel like they ran reruns on Comedy Central. but I think he was mainly MTV.
Starting point is 01:03:03 I have no choice. Then you got Tosh. I feel like there's a diagram or a timeline to be made. Yeah. For like the different, like what, what major sense of humor? For me, I mean, it's Tom, Tom Green, jackass.
Starting point is 01:03:17 That was big. Then you get into college, you know, Chappelle Show is in there. Tosh is in there. Tosh point O was after. When I was in high school, Tosh Point O was big. Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:30 And then you just get jaded by, like life and then you just stop like watching shit like that and you just watch dreaming everything you just watch the news he's just some serious sandwiches sad little authors yeah let me see i mean you're not leaving there hungry it's not about to make it faster mm-hmm they stop me the way he rolls is ours too shout out chef cruz does he have a tic-tac yet i mean this guy's gonna blow if he just puts up an instagram overnight this guy's got 55 000 following yeah he needs to do more content just being himself how far can you take it i don't know but i want to find out i want to find out don't you yes i do okay i'll tell you something i like to find out about life insurance

Starting point is 01:06:11 Chelsea and I watched a show on Netflix called Below. It is a mini-series. Josh Hartnett is the star of it. Alyssa's watching this. Is she? Have you watched any of it? I caught the end of it. Because I go, I go, is that Josh Hart?
Starting point is 01:06:25 She's like, yeah, he's having a renaissance. His son in the movie is Jonathan Byers from Stranger Things. Right. And it's, the show kind of stinks. It's this small like fishing village in like Newfoundland like North Atlantic like way way out there East Canada way. Yeah. The industry of this little town, it used to be a fishing town, it's not anymore. Now it's they collect icebergs and use it for vodka.
Starting point is 01:06:56 So they go out and collect icebergs and bring them back into town and they get paid for it. It's like that's the industry there. It's kind of weird. Like for shop blocks? Yes, exactly. Okay. I'm not going to recommend the show because it's not good. It's like convoluted and weird, and there's a, it's some, it's like, feels a little sci-fi-ish.
Starting point is 01:07:16 But the accents in the show are so bad and so distracting. I thought about it throughout the entire show. There's a link in here, Randy, if you play the video. This is, this is like the cast being interviewed, but there's a clip of the show. Is Jonathan Byers character? I don't know his real name, sorry. The accents are so distracting the entire time. Oh, yeah, the pennies is fishing.
Starting point is 01:07:39 We're not all the way back. Sure. More bologna. My first thing being seen on Strangery Things, and my, I've been seen on this, I'm cooking breakfast, and I just realized that. What do you think appeals to you about breakfast on screen? You keep doing that. That's wholesome. I like seeing breakfast.
Starting point is 01:07:52 It's been wine and see for our own tragedy after in order for the penny crowd. You look like Seth Green and can't hardly wait a bit in that. As a deep hole. Dude, Josh Hartner looks great. He does look great. He's a fox. Fodder where he went in. I love fodder's Potter.
Starting point is 01:08:06 Fathers, Potter. Fathers, Fathers. Fathers, Fathers. Hunter's mortar. I'm murder. Mom had catfish down at the plant until she was doing him by the cancer. Okay. I don't.
Starting point is 01:08:14 Dude, it's so distracting. I'm not gonna- They all have the same accent. Even Josh Harton it. They put it, they put an S at the end of every verb. Like, I knows we gotta go down there. So it's like there's a little bit of Irish in it, it sounds like. I don't know how they talk in Newfoundland.
Starting point is 01:08:33 I don't know if it's anything. like this, but if they don't, they're doing a major disservice to the people out there. It is so bad. Anyway, it's all I got on it, man. So don't, don't watch the show, but if you do, you're going to notice these accents. I mean, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's not, it's not, I'm not going to put
Starting point is 01:08:50 my, my, my Dylan stamp of approval on or anything. There's a giant squid that's, like, killing people. Oh, wait, okay. A cracking? There's a giant squid that, um, for decades, it's been, so just like a, just like a kid who's not going to get a, a bid? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:07 It's a weird show, man. Anyway, the accents are so bad. Speaking of shows, have you started Widows Bay yet? Are you going to? Yes, I am going to, but I have not. Maybe I'll start it now. Let me get two spookies under my belt, and then I'll just jump in. Do it before Halloween.
Starting point is 01:09:27 Oh, yeah. No, that will happen. That'll happen. It's great. Okay. Better than this show? Oh, yeah. By a long shot.
Starting point is 01:09:38 Gilly Clark's on. Gonna buy a bird. Gilly Clarkson. Here's something comparable. Demi Lovato likes a little sugar. I didn't recognize you if I tried. Okay. Bum, mu, mercy.
Starting point is 01:10:00 Wait, how's it go? I'm going to sound stupid. Who is that? Roy. Orbison. Got it. Who's under the boardwalk? The drifters?
Starting point is 01:10:09 I don't know. I think. I feel like those two songs very similar. I like both of them. Boom, boom, boom, boom. Probably recorded by a number. Yeah, it is the drifters. Okay.
Starting point is 01:10:19 Well, look this guy. See, Dave, I will admit, Dave knows a lot of his music. When it comes to 2010s, 2000s, 2000s, I'm with it. But 90s and past, like, I couldn't get probably half the 90s. 80s, 70s, 70s.
Starting point is 01:10:33 70s, 60s, barely anything. Look at Dave. He's just a little music encyclopedia. Mercy. I'd love to know who that song was written about. We'll never know, but I'm just saying, like, you know. He's not longer with us, right? He had to see some time ago.
Starting point is 01:10:55 Yeah. All right. Well, I hate to end it on a somber note. I'll be in another somber note. Rest of peace, Walter Jr. Oh, yeah. from breaking bed yeah yes he passed away
Starting point is 01:11:08 I had no clue triple somber note you guys see this roller coaster accident you didn't have to triple down on the somber quadruples I don't think we ever said RIP to Mike Ditka Shaltold Mike Dickko well that bears is more than that and that was actually an SNL skit
Starting point is 01:11:25 so okay I can still say the Bears yeah I know but like Ditka was much more than an SNL skit he was a star tight end former cowboy kicking and screaming actor head coach Hey Mike Ditka May you rest in peace
Starting point is 01:11:42 All time football guy look Yeah Fuck yeah All time He was like when I thought of Chicago For Didka Probably
Starting point is 01:11:50 A long long long time Into my twilight All I knew I didn't go to Chicago So I went with the company Or Krandex back in the day All I thought about was like Ditka
Starting point is 01:11:59 Great football name too Just the full package man Is Park still into soccer Yeah. Have you guys watched kicking and screaming? I think he's seen it, yeah. Okay. I was going to say, it's a really, it's a funny movie,
Starting point is 01:12:12 and Dick is really, really funny in it. He does a good job. He's very talented. Sure. All right, P. Bye. Bye.
