Starting point is 00:00:04 Hi, Rancho. It's a circling back podcast. It's Thursday morning. My name is Dave. Welcome to the show. Randall Trembacki looking a little flustered. A little flustered. I'm good.
Starting point is 00:00:31 You good? Yeah. Is that because of the graphic, your beard? I don't think it's that big of the problem. The... Go ahead. Go ahead. All right. We're going to start all of this one. Why is it gray?
Starting point is 00:00:45 Because when I updated to do the 360 things, the program made it more gray, and I just guess I didn't catch it when I did it. Oh, okay. Pretend I don't know what the 360 things are. So in Adobe Illustrator now, you can take a vector image and make it 360, and I'll give you different views. Dave Loss enters a second and a half into that sentence. It's so rude. interesting technology now it's so rude is it leveraging AI tools yeah it is that's why does it change your business your day-to-day uh it made it easier i mean i never was going to do it before but like
Starting point is 00:01:23 this here dave i get all different images of you know that's why i've been working on how about that dave so i can get you from all different why am i frowning because you were sad about the world cup oh so i made you a sad one but yeah he just got shit on deck ready to go Don't you think I have Dylan too? Look at this. Show me your boy. All right. Nice coverage.
Starting point is 00:01:51 Yeah. I have a stashed out, but that's okay. Yeah, that's good. Generous, generous beard coverage. Yeah, that's true. Hairline's pretty accurate though. Touch a gray. Touch a class.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Dylan Shivery. Happy to be here. Man, we got a loaded writing today. I'm pretty excited about it. I'm being honest. Yeah. It's gonna be. good stuff today. What's jumping out of you? What are some things to watch for today's show?
Starting point is 00:02:17 I'm really excited to talk about a toxic love story, a show that I watch. Kind of wild. I'm excited for Rainey's first Frozen review. That should be fun. The Kyle Shanahan picture. You're just going down the entire rundown for the record. I was kind of hoping you'd like pick some things that well i i started but you didn't chime in you're right there so i kept talking just let him talk no it's all right no it's gonna be a fun show i'm excited i started wearing a uh you know those red light therapy masks yeah chay and i started doing those doing that are you all sharing a mask yeah we share really do you have to have like an insert that like you know this is this is going to be a A big head joke.
Starting point is 00:03:07 You have a longer face. Do I have a long face? Not like that horse in the bar. Do I have a long face? No, no, you don't. But I'm curious if like, do you stretch it out and like hand it back to Chechay? And she's like, I can't put this over my normal size head. No, believe it or not, it fits both of us.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Okay. Yeah. I'll let you know if I see any. Have you seen results? You've used it how many times now? I've used it probably seven times, seven to ten. Wow. I let you know.
Starting point is 00:03:42 I don't know. Do I look, how are my lines? I don't know, man. You snorted them all. I just set that one on the tea for you. You got a single out of it. I don't know, man. A tea bump?
Starting point is 00:04:00 Okay. Have people done that on the course? I feel like there's definitely a dude. 100,000 percent. Dude, little tea. T bump. Tea bump. Someone did that and got like a nose full of petrochemical.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Bro, I got some weed killer in my coke. Oh, fuck. You don't want that. Oh, fuck. Because it was on the tea, you're saying? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. What's the one?
Starting point is 00:04:25 Glyke, something or other. It's not good. I don't want it. You're not going to get the answer from me, day. You know, there's a lot of that going on in this show. Listener voice mails will drop tomorrow. Restaurant Week dropped on Tuesday. Do we need to rebrand that?
Starting point is 00:04:41 What? You know, we call it Restaurant Week, and the show and of itself is called Restaurant Week? It's just one show. It's not like we do a whole week of restaurant content. Yeah, I see what you mean. I'm overthinking it. It's fine. I just want people to know that we did some really good stuff.
Starting point is 00:04:57 It's not like Podcast Week where it lasts the whole week. Whole year in some companies. So I see what you mean. We'll work on it. We'll be better. What I'm trying to tell you is try out the Patreon. You'll like it. you think we're uh hilarious here you think these grown men are hilarious here you should see us
Starting point is 00:05:15 be on the paywall or hear us it's fucking crazy you say shit you you'd never even think that's where we we save the funny bits to that if you're wondering where all the humor is supposed to be it's it's yet to pay for it none of the funny stuff happens here this is more like us like just grinding through it just sludging through it just to get to the tree on and we get there twice a week we're not and the tree on. All right, the pay. Oh, man. Yeah, but listener voicemails.
Starting point is 00:05:44 It's been recorded. It's a good one. Check it out. Tomorrow. Our substack will drop tomorrow, too. You'll see some blogs in your inbox. Wash.substack.com. Check it out.
Starting point is 00:05:56 Wash. ubstack.com. Drops early tomorrow morning. Okay. Are you going to write something fun? I don't know. I don't know what I'm going to write about. I'll probably write about
Starting point is 00:06:08 all the people that are posting their steaks on the Reddit because there's been a lot there's been two in the last 24 hours exactly i know we want the starch everybody's going heavy starch it's this a new wave man it seems to be pulling a dave is not only just making the meal when your wife is out of town it is steak starch uh green glass of wine or sam adams summer if you're that one guy. Alcoholic beverage. Yeah, but differently.
Starting point is 00:06:42 Check it out. I can't get over that beard in the image. But you did make me want to start listening to more Jimmy Buffett. You really threw me off. I will update it so that is. No, no, no, no, no, not, no, leave it. Not this image, but the, uh, my other heads. It's a look into the future.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Hey, I'm already starting getting some whites in my beard here. You can see them. Oh, buddy, tell me about it. Mm-hmm. I love it. Yeah. I think there's something If I can get like my hair hasn't grayed
Starting point is 00:07:14 Luckily that's the one That's the one prank My biology hasn't pulled on me yet The graying of the hair Ooh I like my grays in my hair But I'm getting a lot in the beard So I would like more of a spread
Starting point is 00:07:26 Mine's more concentrated right here Besides Like low down I want it up top too man Yeah A little salt mix with that pep Yeah you can't transfer it over Man it is wow
Starting point is 00:07:39 Yeah. The visible part coming out of your hat is quite gray. Even like in the back it gets dark again. Just like on the sides here is where it's concentrated. A little bit up. Didn't we have like a sponsor that it was, was it L'Oreal? Yeah. I had to dye my shit.
Starting point is 00:07:53 You're not doing it? You gave up on it? Like you like the gray more than like the gray. Yeah, I like the gray. I think I looked, I mean, it looks fine with, you know, when it was died all dark brown. Yeah. You don't want to be 48 dying your hair? No.
Starting point is 00:08:07 Just let it go, man. or even 47, which is five years away for me. But yeah. I'm about 24 hours from rolling putts with my meridian putter. Damn. I'm going to, I've decided tomorrow morning I'm going to go, I'm going to go hit the course and just dual practice session. Nothing crazy.
Starting point is 00:08:27 Probably about 10 minutes of putting, 10 minutes of chipping, and then hit a very small bucket of balls. Hopefully there's some balls already on the range from people who had to go play. I'll be using my meridian because I'm exclusively a meridian. and putter boy what's so funny is it funny to you that i like i like thinking that you're going before you go buy a bucket of balls you go up to the range and you're there's a pile dude a small bucket's like 14 bucks now that that that's that's definitely the move it's dude it's really it's really it's expensive because people people will buy a bunch of balls and they'll they'll quit like 20
Starting point is 00:08:56 balls yeah they'll go they'll have to go they're late for their teeth yeah just very hermit crab behavior it is it's a power move uh i'll be doing that tomorrow but i'll be rolling some puts of my meridian like i said look it's the most used club in your golf bag, your putter, obviously. About 40% of your total shots versus your other clubs. So why don't you get something that you're confident standing over? Something that feels good in the hands. A meridian putter.
Starting point is 00:09:20 I've got the Nassau. We just gave away one of the new MLT putters. You've got the Key West. Love the Key West, man. That is. You've got that one. It's precision milled putting. It's a precision milled putter as well with the level of quality and feel.
Starting point is 00:09:34 You'd expect from a big name brand without the marked up price tag. That's true. I've had the expensive putter. I have one in my garage right now, like a very expensive one, not to stunt. And do you think I'm using it still? I'm not. I think you're using the meridian. I am because it's yielded great results.
Starting point is 00:09:49 I love it. Everything from the original design to manufacturing and personalizing is done here in the United States. Every putter is milled to order and shipped directly to you from their shop in, Wisconsin. We love Wisconsin. We love Wisconsin. Whether you're a golf sicko, new to the game, or anywhere in between, you deserve a high-quality putter that gives you the confidence on the green. You deserve a meridian putters.com.
Starting point is 00:10:14 Meridian putters.com. Use our code steam 20 for 20% off your cart at checkout. That's meridian putters.com. Use code steam 20 for 20% off. I don't want to bury the lead. Let's do what we came to do, man. Let's review some frozen drinks. You want to review some frozen drinks?
Starting point is 00:10:35 You want the frozen drinks? You want the drink? You want the blended? I'm gonna I'm gonna post it right now I saved it in my draft Blended why is Chelsea Why is she the way that she is No I don't know
Starting point is 00:10:45 Chee Cich California shit man She doesn't translate over here Does she put French fries in like everything You tried to make her Like you made her like Just a meatball sub And she's like
Starting point is 00:10:59 Where are the fries No no She actually is not even much of a burrito person Which I know Breakfast burritos are really big over there Hungui And she has She has gotten one with me
Starting point is 00:11:08 We went to snoo. She got a breakfast burrito there, which was actually really good. Oh, she's married to you. I bet she does a lot of snooze. Oh, they're asleep, yeah. What do you mean? You're boring.
Starting point is 00:11:19 Oh. She doesn't think I'm boring. I thought the crowd might pop for that one. They didn't. No, no, no. We can just move on. No. Are you more of a honk snoo or a,
Starting point is 00:11:30 me, me, me, me, type of guy when you sleep. You got total honk snoo. You know what? You know what? I'm not much of a snorer. Snorer. Snorner. Snorer.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Snorer. I'm not much of a snorer. I'm much of a snorer. Yeah. Shrek snores. I don't... Shrek's Chelsea's dog. I snore when I drink,
Starting point is 00:11:52 apparently. So, anyway. Okay. I snore a little bit. I mean, it's supposed to right now. Lexington for y'all, I ain't drinking anymore. Okay. Wait for it.
Starting point is 00:12:07 But I ain't drinking any less. Okay. It's pretty good. That's awesome, dude. Dude. All right. It's posting right now. It's frozen time.
Starting point is 00:12:15 I'm just going to play it off of my. Give us a set up. Give us a proper setup. All right. So this is, I am going to, I'm the frozen guy. If you're new here, I love frozen. He does. I will, if I see a frozen, I'm going to get a frozen.
Starting point is 00:12:31 I'm new here. What's a frozen? It is an alcohol. No, no, no. It's an alcoholic beverage that's, you know, usually a slushy consistency. And if you want to get a, a margarita do you get on the rocks or you get a frozen frozen i'm a frozen i'm a frozen i'm a frozen margarita guy i'm not but i i need to start venturing out more dude i need my next
Starting point is 00:12:52 alcohol order at a restaurant will be a frozen i feel like you get more bang for your buck i don't know what i mean well what do you mean bang for your balk like you last longer it feels like yeah it feels like you get more substance even though it's it's just it's a mental thing but I feel like it, you know. Like the ice slowly melting gives you more volume. You can drink a margarita on the rocks in seven seconds if you wanted to. I couldn't do that with a frozen. I agree.
Starting point is 00:13:21 The ice cubes of a rocks take up too much of the volume of the cup and I feel like you're getting less liquid. But also it's just, it's a quicker drink, you know? A frozen, you sit there and you just, you nurse it for a while. It slows you down. It slows you down. It slows you down. You drink a frozen too fast.
Starting point is 00:13:35 You get a brain freeze. That's what happens. Okay. Oh, I got a bad one the other night. And my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, right eye started watering it was very oh i know very tight you're about to roll your eyes at me i get it at joe the frozen's at etcho are fantastic okay i thought i thought you're gonna say i thought you were going to say you've never had a brain freeze before that seemed very much i was like you shut the
Starting point is 00:13:56 fuck oh no no i've gotten brain freezes yeah but my brain is susceptible to a cold drink all right so so i uh did three frozen reviews i just posted the first one right now i have to add the other two. But I might start off a little bit too high on the scale here, but I went to like the heavy hitters first. Did you collab post? I just did. Yeah. So it's available on circling backs Instagram too. But give your boy a follow. Nick Miller.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Give your boy a follow. You too, no, could beg a Nick, man. That's when you know you've made it. You get that big Nick Miller follow. Yeah. That's true. So I started with the best damn strawberry daquery a little easy and we can give a little watch here maybe.
Starting point is 00:14:37 What I'm looking for in a frozen? overall number one is flavor of course uh if it's too syrupy too sugary like i am the sugar guy but like if it tastes too much like syrup like yeah it's not it's not going to be good so fresh uh consistency is another big part if it's too thick and it's hard to drink through the straw that's not a good frozen like you need to be able to drink it immediately if it's too thin that's just a cocktail that's just a cold cocktail with some floating ice like most people get this. Yeah. But thickness is a big part. It's big, big part. Oh, strength. I want to be able to taste the alcohol, but not in a way that makes it go, well, because it's a frozen, you are drinking
Starting point is 00:15:18 it slower. You want to be able to know it is strong and it's usually more expensive. This is making, this is making me thirsty a little bit. So, I mean, that's, that's the main things is, is flavors, number one, consistency and then strength. And then price does have a little factor into it, too. It's like, sure. Which I'll get into in the video right here. How about we just watch? Hey, this is the first debut. All right, welcome to the first ever Randy Rates Frozen.
Starting point is 00:15:45 We're at a little easy. I got the best day in-dye. They got seven different frozen, so this is my kind of place. Fresh lime, Florida Kana rum, and Hamilton Pottsdilum. So it is $15 for a 16 ounce. You know, I think a good frozen is anywhere between 10 to 15. You start getting in $20. That's too much.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Under $10, you can find a frozen. That's under $10. That's good. I'll let you know. I'll let you know on a later series. But $15, that's, you know, on the higher end. Pause it real quick. Still do it.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Where's the shirt from? That is a shirt from actual Hawaii. Got it. It's a great Hawaiian. You need it. That is a dope shirt. You need to do a Hawaiian for every one of these. Is that part of the plan?
Starting point is 00:16:25 I will definitely be wearing a short sleeve button up. I only have two Hawaiians. You should. Or just read the same Hawaii. You should do the same shirt for every review. I mean, I do have it as the logo here. I've got some rowdy gentlemen, Hawaiians you can have. Branding, Rand.
Starting point is 00:16:39 I'm thinking branding here. One of them has, like, a bunch of guns on it. It's only good for one use, because once you wash it, it's toast. It's cooked. Here's the thing. I don't know when, if I'm already out. Dude, Randy, you have to wear the same shirt for every one. If I'm specifically going out to go do the frozen reviews, maybe I will.
Starting point is 00:16:58 But, like, if I'm just at a bar, I'm going to try to keep the microphone on me. But, like, if we're just out and I see a frozen, like, I'm just wearing whatever, I'm going to just, you know, I do. By the way, you will... I understand, yeah. You will see a noticeable increase in our audio quality here in about a week. Yes. Yes, you will.
Starting point is 00:17:15 Yeah, these microphones aren't the best. I'll stop interrupting. But let me go back to here. A little easy. This place is a little easy. It's always a plus. Plastic strong. It's tart.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Strong, but strong in a good way. And it's drinkable. Meaning it's not too thick. and it's not too thin. Is it the best damn daffery like they say it is? The best damn strawberry daugery. Beat two. It's good.
Starting point is 00:17:43 It's good. What have again? More friends and reviews will come. Hopefully I'll get better at them. Mm-hmm. Okay. Thank you. That's his first debut.
Starting point is 00:17:54 My first debut, as they usually are. What is the second debut? Dude, that's vibe, man. So wait, what time did you go? It appears that you're the only person there. Yeah. We went, I think probably at like two o'clock on a Saturday. And there was people inside, but it was just really hot outside.
Starting point is 00:18:11 So we were like the only ones on the patio. Did you ask for anything special? Were you like, hey, I'm an Austin influencer? No. Anything I was more embarrassed to do this. This is my first time doing it. So we were trying to like sneakily do it. I went to the little easy.
Starting point is 00:18:28 And apparently they had the best damn strawberry daughery. And so I tried it. And it was pretty good. It's a little sweet for my like. but I drank it. Then I decided to drink three more and I got really drunk and it was really good.
Starting point is 00:18:38 Do you wet the bed? I did not wet the bed. You didn't wet the bed. But Megan got the frozen espresso one. So I tried hers. So we did one with that and then went to Donata too and did the margarita.
Starting point is 00:18:53 So I started with the heavy hitters. You got banged up. Yeah. It was over the course of a day. But it's a little easy in Dinada are like probably two of the best frozens in Austin. There's a couple other ones.
Starting point is 00:19:04 ones I'm going to hit, but I need to, like, go to ones that are just random so that I'm not just, like, giving everyone eights and nines and stuff. I need a, I need that port. You're going to feel bad when you do, like, one that's not very good. Yeah. Because you know, they're going to see it. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's, that's part of the problem. But I need to have some integrity. I can't just give everything good reviews. That would be me. If I were to be an influencer, I don't have the heart to, like, have like a, like, a tall local business that, like, their shit sucks. Yeah. Yeah. I'd be like, no, I would be like, No, this is actually really good.
Starting point is 00:19:33 You'll know it because I'll have the word a bit. No, this is actually pretty good. Yeah, it's like an 8-1. So someone asked. No, for sure. Someone asked in the chat, when is the part where Randy jumps up and starts yelling and dancing? Shark bite.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Ah, yeah. I don't know that. You know the guy. What's his name? Oh, that guy. Yeah, that guy. I saw a video of a kid who happened to be at a restaurant where that was, where he was filming one. And it's one of the craziest things I've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:20:05 Because you just see this guy. He is so wide. He's a monster. He is so big. Like, anyway. Well, that's great, Randy. So is it trending? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:20:18 We'll see how it's doing. But I enjoyed it. I'm going to keep on doing these. Jaden liked it. Yeah. That was a good first debut. Thank you. I will do more first debut.
Starting point is 00:20:30 Actually, second day views and third. debuts in the future. But yeah, the graphics. I had fun making the graphics. That's what I was doing the majority of the beginning of the week. Did you make your graphic a little bit hot? I noticed your graphic was just a little hot.
Starting point is 00:20:46 It's a hot graphic. I did change my profile photo on Instagram to it because I do like it. I just mainly was going very teaky beach bar t-shirt vibe. Yeah. We'll do it. Great.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Great, man. I'm looking forward to this. Thank you. Two more to come at least right now. What you're saying earlier about, like, giving you a good rating because you don't want to, you know, upset anybody. Like the Portnoye Pizza Review, he became too powerful, man. Like if he gave something like a five point, whatever, it was affecting business. It was, you know.
Starting point is 00:21:23 Well, you got to have good pizza, but. I'm just, I've got too much. I just, I don't know what that says about me. I don't think I mean you're a good guy, Dave. but also not like a completely shameless good guy dave i wouldn't make it as a sales guy well he could definitely even just like be very corrupt and then just like buy part of a business and then later go like a pizza business not tell anyone about it then go to a review and give it over nine and it's going to have a line out the door for like the next like two weeks and people are going to go to it
Starting point is 00:21:55 all the time he has a lot of power with that you're not allowed to do that he has a peduciary duty does Is he? That's part of the Zachard Legaleese. A peduciary? A peduciary. Is that pizza with fiduciary mixed together? I don't know what, what?
Starting point is 00:22:10 What? And I made a, I made a mention about the plastic straw. I don't think I'm gonna ding you if you have a paper straw, but I'm gonna give a dirty look to the camera. Is it because like you enjoy killing turtles? Sea turtles, like just choking, a slow death. Like some 200-year-old sea turtle yes and it's just like oh it's hungry and just oh and it's just like a slow it just slowly pokes him on the inside and it's just like dies over like a period of two weeks you don't want to do
Starting point is 00:22:44 is that because you do like that or do i don't understand i don't like that but i think there's those ones that are like kind of a sugar straw i think they're like kind of plasticy but they are decomposable i think those are probably the best the happy medium did you ever get plastic straws grab it twist it up to where it compresses all the air and then I could never get it to pop though I mean I tried it a bunch of times and it would just break oh yeah we used to
Starting point is 00:23:07 you gotta have that yeah that could flick that yeah I know I show us your flick go that's a good flick see that was about those give us your flick shows oh
Starting point is 00:23:23 nah no dude that wouldn't it you don't like that that was about the top of our shit had teenage behavior we weren't you know like getting three boys in a water slide come out together making lifeguards lives in hell we were we were doing that in the restaurant though we were making pops that's that's the worst thing y'all did as teens and we were probably a little messy but we were probably loud and boisterous in a restaurant
Starting point is 00:23:48 too but that that was part of it you did you drink in high school uh not until junior year and we did we very much kept it in a house i'm talking about like in public oh yeah yeah yeah Dude, I was throwing them back, dude. I have very vivid memories of somebody trying to order a beer at dinner. That's like clearly 16 with like their dad's old like unicard or driver's license. Like what? And they're like, we cannot serve you. And it was like, yeah, we get it.
Starting point is 00:24:24 Like you're the only. So first of all, you're the only person at the table was going to order a drink. Clearly a table full of high school kid. clearly probably wearing like a Duncanville panthers like football shirt i used a fake idea exactly one time my entire life and i was in high school and it was just an older guys it was a guy who was two years old than me he had a fake id he looked somewhat like me uh so it was a fake and also not me in the picture right it worked but i was so scared i was up as a cash register just like shaking and somehow it worked
Starting point is 00:25:02 do you walk up and over talk like so man is one of those like you remember like all the the facts like address and all that stuff birthday just in case he quizzed me on it but uh it worked man just do a hey mister yeah it's the best way to go it is you never know you might make a new friend who wants to hang out with you for the rest of the night yeah even though he's 35 and you and you and your friends are 16 like all right yeah so you party with him beer time cool dude like a sword. No, I'm just kidding. Pancho outdoors are good friends at Pancho. My goodness. The best fitting shirts, not tight under my arms, not baggy. You can pick your fit, regular, slim, or tall. I think I have a regular and a slim. I think I'm team regular, but the
Starting point is 00:25:58 slim is not overly slim. I just want to say that. They've got a little something for every occasion. Just good all around, like, I don't know, road trip, going to be outside all day, going to go to a nice dinner, going to go review some frozen drinks, all that. Now's the time to load up on your cool weather clothing. It's time to start copping. Man, the Western, I can't say enough good things about it. I have two of them, the Pearl Snap. They're fantastic. I just, I'm obsessed. I love him. He's obsessed. I'm obsessed. Good check out the graphic keys as well. T-shirts are just very cool. We have two. Dylan went and bought one the other day and I was like, when did you get that one, bud? You know, it's what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:26:43 Oh, yeah. It's a very cool. And their hats are awesome too. Once you order one, you'll probably order five more. You know, like we said, they've got the original shirt that's very functional and they've got the option, the Western ones with the Pearl Snaps. It's, they're fantastic. Starting point is 00:27:20 This is funny. WGN, that's a network you probably know. Most people do. Most people, 90s kids know WGN. It was like the one chance. channel that was from like it was a local channel local to chicago but for some reason everybody got it is that what like the the daytime cubs games are always on yeah okay that's how i know chicago yeah anyway so you think like that's a that's a good a good solid network they don't make a
Starting point is 00:27:50 lot of mistakes well uh the kyle shanahan uh car accident that happened like 12 days ago or something that people are like what's going on pretty serious accident yeah he uh he came out and admitted he was at fault. He said he dropped his phone while driving. Dylan. He said, look, definitely not the other person's fault. People are kind of questioning a lot of the Big J. Journows around the team and why they didn't report this because they knew about it. And I think they were kind of asked to not say anything about it. I don't know, which making it a secret is going to make it look like something went wrong, like when it comes out two weeks later, right? So there's a lot of skepticism.
Starting point is 00:28:34 But anyway, WGN was doing a story on it. Randy, can you just play the... Tell me if you notice anything about this. Tell me when something catches your eye. You don't have a link in here. Slack. Oh, this thing. Okay, I thought this was the...
Starting point is 00:28:57 The... Got you know. Okay. Okay. It is what you're talking about. It's actually just that they lead with. Yeah. So it's 49ers coach Kyle Shanan.
Starting point is 00:29:06 He suffers major injuries in car crash. And the photo here. Wait, is there audio to this as well? Yes. Story about Niners coach Kyle Shanahan. Yesterday, he made his first public comments since a car crash two weeks ago that left him in some really bad shape. The team didn't announce it until last Saturday, 11 days after it happened. And officers on the scene said Shanahan was not at fault.
Starting point is 00:29:33 But he said yesterday that he was. to blame, said he took his eyes off the road to reach for his phone. The Palo Alto Police Department now say Shanahan was right, and there was a clerical error in the initial report. So here's the thing. Apparently some reporters knew about the crash, and they sat on the story for a while. And then with the narrative being changed, you know, people have a lot of questions. Some people think there's something fishy going on. Shanahan suffered a concussion of broken hand, three broken ribs, and 40 stitches above his right eye. Damn.
Starting point is 00:30:08 The other driver only suffered minor injuries. Okay. Cubs, Cardinals. Okay. So this image, he actually looks pretty good in this hospital image. It didn't look like he got any stitches. He's actually wearing a hat. It looks weirdly familiar, though.
Starting point is 00:30:23 Like, I've seen this somewhere. Yes. Someone searched Kyle Shanahan on Twitter. And saw one of the most liked things was a photo of Kyle Shanahan in a hospital bed with Mitch McConnell's wife holding him and smiling. Why didn't Mitch McConnell's wife visit Kyle Shanahan in the hospital? Well, you see what they photoshoped Kyle Shanahan's head onto Mitch McConnell. Dude, come on. You have to know.
Starting point is 00:30:56 You have to know. Like, nobody asks like, who's this woman? I mean, it's the same pillow. It's the same lighting. it's the same it's the same image it's exactly the same hospital why is he in a hospital bed wearing a button down in a flat bill if he just got he just got like severely concussed all these stitches it's it's unbelievable can you hear the whispering at the beginning like people are realizing i think one of the anchors says that's not the real picture or something like that oh my god
Starting point is 00:31:26 shout out the wg the guy had to deliver the story though because he's a pro that's so funny man do you think you think an outlet like this will like intentionally buck something up so that it makes like national headlines no wg no you can't you can't not like this we're talking about wgm we weren't going to otherwise it goes against their journalistic credibility dude i i i is just too good now like i there's a video i'm looking at a video of um kirk cousins has fernando mendoza up against the locker and he's just he's just reaming is his house out, which is clearly AI. But like my dad wouldn't know that this is AI. My dad would be like, man, that, the Raiders locker room is a tough, tough place right now. Speaking of Kentucky politics, you know, like a, okay, I don't know the percentage, but like, there were a, when Thomas Massey was getting primaried against a guy who know what had ever heard of, Thomas Massey ended up losing his you know he's lost his seat
Starting point is 00:32:34 he's the other senator from Kentucky long story short they were running an ad and it was a in a obviously fake image or video of Thomas Massey AOC and one of the other members of the squad yeah you know what I'm talking about the one she's the one from Minnesota anyway and it was a photo of him walk or like with and it was like the story was that he was like in a three way love love triangle with with with with aOC and this other woman and like people they were running that like as an ad and people believed it like a more a number that
Starting point is 00:33:17 was more than it should hope oh man so yes uh it's it's good man it's fun hang on the deep fake video featured fake images of Massey holding hands, dining, and walking with AOC and Omar under the tagline Thomas Massey caught in a thruple. How could you possibly think that's a real thing? Which, by the way, had that been real? All right. Okay. Sure.
Starting point is 00:33:51 Nice. Is AOC? Is she married? No. No. Is Massey? His wife passed away a couple years ago. there was a rumor that he was hooking up with the uh the movie theater hj woman or no the uh the play
Starting point is 00:34:08 bobert bobert bobert yeah she's more than she's a sitting or was a sitting member of congress but i you'll know her from her alleged uh yes play hj was it a hamilton h j what was the play i think it was hamilton no it was beetle juice okay even better nice bobert play h h Let's look that up, folks. Issues caught on video, yeah, in Denver during the performance of Beetlejuice. Is it better or worse to do it during Beetle Juice or Hamilton? Like, Hamilton is like this very highly regarded, you know, it's Hamilton. Sure.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Hamilton's probably worse than Beetle juice. Well, getting a H-J. Either way, you don't want to be caught giving someone to H-J. It might have been some above-close action. Mm-hmm. O-T-P-H-J. Is that what y'all called it back in the day? Wasn't she like blown flat fat clouds too?
Starting point is 00:35:07 Yeah, she was tossing clouds? Was she? Yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. She was having that vape. The kids love the vape. Anyway, be better news outlets.
Starting point is 00:35:17 You're constantly under attack. Or don't. So we can make fun of you. Yeah, or don't. But I forgot that it is kind of shade that every time I see an image or a video online that's like, oh, that's crazy. I have to ask myself. All right, Dylan.
Starting point is 00:35:34 Yeah. Think about this. Is this real? Do you think this is real? I forgot that the police, whoever, you know, had checked on the paperwork that it was the other person's fault. It is, it's very odd, I will say. Like they were just giving him a pass because of who he is? Maybe.
Starting point is 00:35:52 I mean, clerical mistakes happen. But just like that combined with the, hey, guys, don't let please reporters whose job it is to report. don't say anything about this until right before training camp. Yeah. Because, you know, if you're, if you're somebody who's looking for a conspiracy there, it's like, well, what were they doing? Were they, was, was he, uh, what was he covering up? Was he trying to negotiate something with the other driver so she wouldn't, uh, go public
Starting point is 00:36:17 with what actually happened? Right. You know, a longhorn legend, by the way. Kyle Shanahan. Has a matching tattoo with Chris Sims famously. Not matching tattoo. They have each other's initials tattoo. Ah, okay.
Starting point is 00:36:28 It's somehow worse. Yeah, that's worse. Brothers for life. I'll see my getting your initials tattooed on me. If you got mine on yours. I'm open to it. Just saying. Weren't you supposed to get?
Starting point is 00:36:42 No. What was the tattooed Dylan was supposed to get? Was it our faces? I believe he was supposed to get three of his own face on his butt because he had challenged Will to a game of odds to get it. And then it added up, right? It was the circling back logo, the old one with the three of us, but it was my face over all three.
Starting point is 00:37:04 That's so stupid. It's really stupid. But you, again, you should have done it. Come on. It's your butt. Come on. Would you have done it? No integrity.
Starting point is 00:37:13 What does Chi Chi think? I don't think she's aware of that one. Let's call her. It's Chee-Chi. What does you think of your... I guess that's how you pronounce it. Kappa Alpha brand. I don't have one.
Starting point is 00:37:27 Don't have one. Prove it. Get naked. Show us your whole body. This guy in high school, I won't say his name. He got drunk one night, and he set a cigarette down on his forearm
Starting point is 00:37:40 and let it burn all the way down. And to this day, has a big old scar there, the length of a cigarette. You think he regrets that? Yes, I do. Yes, I do. Did you all ever do the thing with the lighter? I believe he became a pastor, actually.
Starting point is 00:37:59 Oh, really? Yeah. No, we didn't do that one. You know, you hold the lighter and then you... Yeah. Hold it in and it gives you like the smiley face. Yeah, we didn't because it was really stupid. That one went away pretty quick.
Starting point is 00:38:13 Yeah. But yeah, you shouldn't burn kids if you're listening. We know you are. Keep deep fakes out of baseball and don't burn yourself while drinking. Well said. Okay. And don't get jorked while watching Beetlejuice. Don't get jorke.

Starting point is 00:39:24 of a website or domain. All right, let's hear it. I'm ready. I know nothing about this. I'm excited. because I want to get sold because I get a TV watching to do. Yeah. Chelsea and I watched a toxic love story on Netflix.
Starting point is 00:39:40 It was like a top, I think it was like a top 10 movie at the time. Still is. So we decided to dig in, right? It's a movie. It's a documentary. It's a documentary. It's not a series. It's a, yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:57 It's probably like two hours long. Are you going to spoil? Spoilers. Spoilers, folks. I have to. Go for it. All right. Talk to Love Stories. We have a picture of a Love Triangle, right? Well, not really love Thomas Massey. So this guy, his name is Ian Diaz. He's a U.S. Marshal. And he moves in,
Starting point is 00:40:17 he has a condo that he bought with his ex. They broke up. He moves in. He's got a new girl. All right? Her name is Angela. I have a timeline here in case I get caught up. But it's- Picks or not. It's so good. We could get, we could certainly obtain picks. Would it change how I view the story? Uh, probably not. Probably not. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:40 So he moves in with this new girl and they're like, they're like hot and heavy real fast. They get married like weeks into their relationship. Okay. Like real fast. And so this woman, his new bride, starts getting emails from the ex, who the ex and this guy bought this condo together. Okay.
Starting point is 00:41:01 She used all of her money. has the down payment and she's no longer living there so that's she's like ah kind of got left out in the cold here she's sending these super threatening emails to the the new bride and she goes by in the email she goes by lilith lillith which is a biblical reference a lot of biblical references in the emails lilith apparently was um like a scorned lover like adam and eve like the one that wasn't chosen um randy knew that and yeah i'm making sure but yeah i know lilith you've heard of this you've heard of this character well i'm familiar with the name lilith it was in supernatural it was apparently god's sister but i don't think that's actually
Starting point is 00:41:42 there's also lilith fair there is yeah that's a sick fest so she's sending all these like nasty nasty emails to this Angela lady um like be better watch your back i'm gonna kill you this is your last day alive like i'm gonna send someone over to rape you like oh terrible terrible shit jesus and so they report this to police uh meanwhile um the first the first woman what's her name Michelle Michelle's a part of the documentary like she's being interviewed and like they they bring her in they're like did you send this email she's like i did send that one and i regret it so you're like okay she's obviously extremely guilty here the emails just keep getting more and more just deranged and you know threatening and finally um she hires a she goes on to craigslist and hires someone like there's a
Starting point is 00:42:40 rape fantasy subreddit on or not subreddit there's a rape rape fantasy part of craigslist where you can like hey i want you to like say you to like say simulate a rape and so she sends she like gets on there and like orders this guy to go over to the house and rape this angela chick okay guy shows up and kind of fills out the place and and like oh there's a guy in there i'm not doing this so he leaves whatever um fast forward more emails it's getting really dark um meanwhile this angela girl is pregnant with twins like okay so they got married immediately got pregnant she has twins right okay okay Well, all this is going on, they kind of, they back up the timeline several years. And this girl, Angela, who is now married to Ian, she has a very sketchy past. She faked having cancer at one point and was like dying and wearing wigs. And she like, like she made herself get all emaciated. And then they figured out that she was faking having cancer.
Starting point is 00:43:41 There are so many layers to this. I'm trying to keep it all like organized in my head. But it's tough because there's so many plot twists. Anyway, so she was exposed for faking cancer back in the day, all right? And so... Who among us? Right. And so fast forward to modern day, she's married to Ian.
Starting point is 00:44:01 The cancer things in her past, but she obviously, you know, so like, okay, this, she's crazy, too. Like, everyone here's kind of, it seems like everyone here's kind of crazy. Meanwhile, this Michelle girl orders another rape fantasy. So this woman, Angela calls the cops and she's like, oh my guys, I just got attacked. This guy showed up to my house. I was in my garage. He pinned me against the wall, pulled my hair and threw me around. I fought him off and he left.
Starting point is 00:44:31 So cops are in and out. Cops are like, you know, multiple reports have been filed. They show up and they're like, all right, we finally got enough to arrest this Michelle girl. This is like she's gone too far. They have an arrest warrant. So they arrest Michelle. All right. She's in, she's being held.
Starting point is 00:44:46 The bond is crazy. She stays in jail for 88 days. So you're like, we're like 45 minutes in the end of this documentary. And you're like, this Michelle girl is fucking crazy. I mean, Angela's crazy too. She faked cancer. That's an all thing. So she's in jail.
Starting point is 00:45:06 And it turns out that Angela, who's pregnant with twins, faked being pregnant. she's not actually pregnant she just got a google image of you know like a the scan like the you know the imaging from uh-huh and she gave that to her husband she did the basketball under the shirt thing she wasn't far enough along to be showing i don't know what her plan was you know but she got exposed for for faking being pregnant meanwhile michel's in jail right um and then it turns out that the guy, Ian, again, a U.S. Marshal and Angela, orchestrated this entire thing. Michelle, all Michelle did, she admitted to sending an email. She did send an email, but it wasn't one of the, like, nasty, threatening ones.
Starting point is 00:45:58 It was just like, it was on the lines of, like, you ruined my life kind of. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Right? Under the name of Lilith? Was that the only email from Lilith? Well, I think it was coming from her email address, but she just claimed to be like this Lilith character who was scorned by Ian and the new girl. And so they start building a case against Ian and Angela for orchestrating literally the entire thing. How did they figure it out?
Starting point is 00:46:32 I can't remember. I can't remember. Okay. There's so much happening at once. So you're like, it's kind of hard to, kind of hard to track at all. I think because they broke up and he was, he was really controlling of her. And when they finally, she finally broke up with this guy, he was like, he wanted to ruin her life, basically. So he was trying to ruin.
Starting point is 00:46:58 Okay. He tried to ruin his ex's wife. Also, they were in the condo that she put the down payment down for. And so he wanted to, like, get the condo free and clear in his name while she was riding away in jail. So she, I mean, the plan was. to put her in jail. Okay. And so they could live in this condo
Starting point is 00:47:15 that he is only having to make the payments on. She, the whole thing. Anyway, it's fucking wild. You think the toxic X is this Michelle girl. But in reality, it's him.
Starting point is 00:47:25 Yeah. Everybody's a little toxic, y'all. And so they figured it out. They, they, there's a detective that's being interviewed throughout the documentary and he starts to put in the pieces together. And finally enough evidence is,
Starting point is 00:47:36 you know, comes out to like, she, Michelle gets out of jail. And it ends really positively. Like Michelle has moved on and she found she like is married and has kid and all that. And so she's she's doing well. But these this couple, like they're just fucking absolutely insane.
Starting point is 00:47:55 So where are they now? He is serving a 10 year sentence in federal prison. Okay. For, um, for everything that they did. And she, Mr. Angela, I don't think she's in jail. I don't think. Did she decline a request to speak publicly on this matter?
Starting point is 00:48:14 They did not. They were not a part of the documentary now. But there's a lot of like body cam footage from like there are a lot of, you know, police showed up several times. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And he's just there just like going off on this ex. Like she's, she's crazy. She belongs in a padded room, all this stuff. It's wild, man.
Starting point is 00:48:31 A lot of, very twisty, very terny. Because she'd been advised to use her Fifth Amendment rights to not speak on the matter. That's good. Good. If you're wondering, Lilith is not actually in the Bible. It's only mentioned once as a night demon, but it later became in Jewish folklore, Adam's rebellious first wife. That's what the Lilith is.
Starting point is 00:48:54 And you might ask yourself, did Eve ever meet Lilith like this Google user? Even Lilith never met in traditional religious texts, but they do meet in modern feminist fiction. Oh. So there you go. They were ordering modern feminist fiction. Like they were ordering rape fantasy guys off of Craigslist to come an assault, to come and assault his own wife just to frame the X. That's insane. Yeah. And like, dude actually showed up at the house. Yeah. De facto, or after the fact, trigger warning on this segment, by the way. Yeah. So, yeah, it's, that is not where I thought this was going. It's wild. I suggest, even though you've, you've heard the story, I suggest watching it because it's, it is entertaining. He was a cop. He was a cop. He was a U.S. Marshal.
Starting point is 00:49:40 He tried to leverage any of that. Like, I feel like if I'm him, you are him. If I'm him and I'm trying to like, all right, how do I, okay, I want to get back at my axe. I want her out of this. I do some good old-fashioned police frame him. I use my contacts down at the station. That's the old-fashioned way of doing it. Not this.
Starting point is 00:50:05 This is now. But wait, so he was in on the fake pregnancy as well. No. Oh, according to him, he wasn't. So that was just a subplot. Yeah. The fake pregnancy was just like, he's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, what are you doing? He's like, we're doing this other fraud.
Starting point is 00:50:22 What is this? And she's like, all the, all the scheming and fraud and I don't know, I just want my own thing. I want it kind of, yeah, I just kind of wanted to do my own thing. I just sent you a picture of the characters in this, Randy, just so you all get a visual on it. it's wild man usually these things underwhelm a bit but this one did not
Starting point is 00:50:43 just frame them yeah so that that's that's Angela and Ian on the left and Michelle on the right well that's her muck shot it's sad dude it's sad there's some crazy folks out there's the name
Starting point is 00:50:56 lily derived from lilith I think so or maybe just after lilies like the flower probably yeah great point Randy you know what this guy knows his Bible. It's not even in the Bible. Oh, okay, dude. Don't be so arrogant about it. We get it. I don't know my
Starting point is 00:51:13 Bible that much. I've been thinking about audiobooking it. Her Johnny Cash has a pretty good audio book on it. On what? The Bible. Is that true? Like Johnny Cash. Johnny Cash? Like Johnny Cash? Like Johnny Cash? Like the Reddit. Like the subreddit. No, no. Johnny Cash read the Bible and recorded it as an audiobook. Like just paid for, does he offer commentary? I don't, I don't know. Like his interpretation? I don't know. I just been told it's good. He's been told it's good. Okay. I learned a lot in the last eight minutes. What a seg. Okay. Damn. Yeah. Man, just frame her with some drugs. Dude, don't do this. What you've done here is so much work. Like there's a body cam footage of the cops walking up to their condo and he's waiting out front with his pistol drawn.
Starting point is 00:52:06 He's like, okay, okay, good. It's just you guys. The whole thing was just to depict her being this is extremely dangerous person or they're expecting like the, uh, the sexual assault Craigslist guy to show. It was just weird, man. Uh, did, did he find, okay, real, more on the faking things. Did, did, was he aware of the fake, the previous fake of the terminal cancer thing? It doesn't seem like it. No. It's not something.
Starting point is 00:52:35 How did that, how did that come out? Like who? Um, because. I can't remember. I think, like, one of, oh, one of Angela's, like, former friends was a part of the documentary. And she's like, let's back up a bit to show you how crazy this chick actually is. And they had it, oh, they had an intervention with her. Like, all of her friends and family were waiting in a room.
Starting point is 00:53:00 She walks in, she's got, like, the fake wig on a wig. Wigs are inherently fake. She had the wig on, and they're like, hey, we want to talk to you about your cancer. She goes, okay. And they're like, we know you don't have it. She goes, yes, I do. They're like, please sit down. So we let's talk this out.
Starting point is 00:53:17 And she had a like a bandage on her arm, like, you know, the port where they'd give like the IV medicine. And she's like, they're like, show us your, show us your port. Show us. And she's like, it's bandaged up. Like, just show us. Take it off. And she's like, she wouldn't do it. It was humiliating.
Starting point is 00:53:34 You got to be scumbed to pull that off. That's serious. Dude, I remember, like, after, it was like after the, we invaded Iraq, like the, the videos of people like, like, stolen valor, dudes like would be in like, you know, fatigues, like trying. There'd be some people that were just doing it for like love of the game, like, just going to the mall. Yeah. Just like, please ask me about like my service. And then there's people who are like just trying to get ahead on like the airline, airplanes and stuff. They were just trying to get seated first.
Starting point is 00:54:07 So sorry. And like, dude, the most hard to watch thing would be people like guys, like actual like, you know, Marines walking up like, what's up, man? And like start talking to him. Like, oh, shit. And you're just like, oh, no. It's tough. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:23 What, where did you serve? What group are you in? And they just don't have an answer. They just walk away. Yeah. It's, uh, it's real, man. All for just a little bit of, uh, just a little bit of praise. Isn't that tough?
Starting point is 00:54:37 Yeah. Okay. So that's that. I don't have anything to recommend. I've recommended the agency. Some of the comments did say that they went back to it after your recommendation. They're glad that they did. Really?
Starting point is 00:54:51 Season two? I think you could say season two is better than season one. Okay. Thank you, comments. That's why we keep you going. You know what keeps me going? It's FitBod when I'm traveling or when I'm back home for the holidays. I always fire up FitBod.

Starting point is 00:57:17 what was last time 2002 it's a long as time ago our team was good enough to where we should be belgium yeah i think i think it's fine if you can do no wrong to me polisic didn't show up man that's true uh what else we got we could do randy's comments of the week right now before this weekend and fond. If you got those on deck. Randy's comments of the week. I still need to get a theme song. I'll do it.
Starting point is 00:57:48 I'll do it one day. Yeah, you're right. Pirate Dread Roberts is right. He is goaded. Look, I'm not going to, I'm not going to be, I'm not going to turn on him. I'm just glad I'm glad he's around. Who? Poach.
Starting point is 00:58:02 Oh. Or poke. This is Randy's comments of the week. Start off, Trent, I just enjoyed this one. Let me be the first. to leave a comment. That's how that was fun. Shout out Trent.
Starting point is 00:58:16 So, Trent. Hunter said he found y'all, found us, found y'all through having dinner with my brother and two impossibly hot friends at Pinehouse. Glad to be here. Oh, he must be a really hot guy. Yeah. Must be, must be. What's Hayden's last name again?
Starting point is 00:58:32 Shot. Okay. S-C-H. Right. I only have three more comments, but I have something, these next two comments coming up here, If we're looking, you know, maybe put some time in there. Ian comments, you all are worse than cowards. The King of Frat has fallen.
Starting point is 00:58:48 Borgs are lit and alcohol poisoning is character building. Borg is mostly water and meo anyways. So maybe we should do some borgs. I enjoyed this one. It stands for Blackout Rage Gallo. Yeah. King of Frat has fallen. Griffin commented.
Starting point is 00:59:03 Just try the dang buzz balls, Haas. So I'm thinking about going to get them. Right now? I'll get him right now. Right now. Let's just do it. We'll do a little video tomorrow. I just feel like I have to drink this right now.
Starting point is 00:59:14 We're interviewing somebody today. It's the craziest thing. I have to drink this buzzball right now. No, don't do it. No. You could get drunk. You could get drunk. Don't do it.
Starting point is 00:59:25 I don't know. I have to do it. I think I'm going to do it. Oh, my God. He's doing it. All right. All right, Griffin. They might just try the dang buzz balls.
Starting point is 00:59:33 We'll see. And my favorite one from Chicken Joel, Dave is the DJ, designated jacker. Is that like designated survivor? Yeah. Or a drinker, designated driver. We're talking about the jackpot. Yes.
Starting point is 00:59:50 Indeed. You're always the designated jacker. I popped over to Hayden Shots, IG, followed by Mansell. But I was hoping there was like a reel on here where he's like, yeah, like him telling the story. There's not. I'm going to slide in to see what's what. I feel like you just quit while your head. I'm gonna, am I head?
Starting point is 01:00:10 You can't deal with the heart. Am I head? I don't want you to deal with a heartbreak, dude. Should you remember that guy that, like, told us were really hot? Yeah, then you saw that he talked to us on the podcast. He just slid in my DMs. Dude, this guy is so, what if he never looks at it? What if he never looks at it?
Starting point is 01:00:24 That's definitely a possibility. What if the guy in the yellow suit, the banana guy, Johnny Banana or whatever, like, messaged him. I was like, don't engage with these guys. These guys are the biggest threat to banana ball. I still want to go. If we want to do a bonus comment on the week since we're talking about it. Just Matt, good one.
Starting point is 01:00:45 Someone on Reddit said, Dylan doing the actual, hey, my wife and I think your cute thing at the restaurant is so fucking funny. Is that a, is that like a threesome play? Yeah. Okay. We like your vibe. This guy said, I thought Dylan was DJ. It was so funny. Chelsea was just too embarrassed to go over there.
Starting point is 01:01:04 He was like, Dylan, please don't. Just standing off in the distance. Don't bring her into this. She noticed him first. She noticed that they were large men eating one pizza. She noticed that they were large good-looking men. It's really bugging me that four big men just one pizza. Well, hold on.
Starting point is 01:01:23 Didn't someone who's a big man here have two slices of pizza just the other day and that was it? I did. Two slices of DeSano is just not enough. They're really thin. Yeah. They're not. It's Neapolitan. It's not like you got two like home slice.
Starting point is 01:01:39 I did eat the crust, so I don't usually eat. crust. I'll tell you some good cross if you really want to. The Pizza Hut pan pizza, man. That crush is so fucking good. I'm going to beat you up, dude. Brett said that he was going to get some this weekend. Yeah, he actually, he's not.
Starting point is 01:01:56 He said he wanted a cheap pizza. Brett, Brett isn't above a cheap pizza. That's the one thing I like about Brett. Just the one thing. No, but he does say that he's a big domino's guy. And he said that he'll try the pizza. I'm very happy for him. he's about to be blown away.
Starting point is 01:02:14 But once again, just Matt said, I thought Dylan was DJ. Yeah. Yeah, thanks for bringing that up again. My middle name is Joseph. That guy's been listening for a while.
Starting point is 01:02:23 Yeah, go ahead and get them tattooed on your body. You said initials, just get DJ and be like, oh, this is my Dylan Joseph partner, DJ. Wait,
Starting point is 01:02:31 why don't you eat crust? Is it because of the carbs or you just don't like the, you're like, why would I, um, what is that? It's,
Starting point is 01:02:38 part of it is, is definitely because of the extra carbs. But I just like the pizza part of a pizza is more desirable to me. So if I'm going to fill up on pizza, I want to eat the part that I really like. Do you have Chechek cut it off before you eat it? Like crust on your PBOJ? At DeSanos, they give you a little like dipping butter to dip the crust in. You notice that?
Starting point is 01:03:01 Yeah. Yeah. And so I was like, I might, maybe the crust is just super dope here. And it was good. I'm team Dylan here. I don't like the crust. That's why I was so surprised by the Pizza Hut pizza. Because unless it's stuffed crust, I usually never eat the crust of a pizza.
Starting point is 01:03:15 I don't know that I've ever had a stuffed crust pizza. Really? No. Oh, they're good. There's cheese. I missed the freshetta. I used to have sauce stuffed crust and they were really good. Chats.
Starting point is 01:03:27 Look at the chat's just cooking right now. Now we got them. Now we got them buzzing. Child behavior. Eat a whole damn slice. Two slices of peach of pea. I could eat half of a of a DeSano, if not three quarters. They're fucking good.
Starting point is 01:03:47 It's so floppy, man. Like you can't, you can't pick up. You have to pick up the front and the back. Man, you must have had an interesting one because, you know what? I would say the same about Pine House. Oh, I wouldn't. My criticism on Pine House used to be you'd have to put it in the oven when you got home and cook it because they would, if you went and picked up a Pine House, a lot of times
Starting point is 01:04:04 you would get it and it felt like it didn't get cooked all the way. Really? Yep. Really. Not my last time I got it. never been my experience. But Pine House has definitely B-tier Austin pizza, which is a good thing. There's a lot of good pizza.
Starting point is 01:04:17 I'll give it an A-minus. Oh, I guess we're all rating stuff now. I guess that was Randy's thing, but now we're just rating pizzas. You're definitely the first one to ever rate food or drink. Exactly. What I'm getting from- You tell the kids that pizza is bad for you unless you eat the crust. That's fucking, that's good parenting that.
Starting point is 01:04:32 That's, uh, what I'm getting from this chat check-in segment is that they agree that they're going to do the buzz balls tomorrow on video. Dude, it's going to, I know how it's going to bet. It's going to make me feel. You just, I don't want you to have to drink the whole thing. Just take a sip of it. I just a midday, a midday buzz, what is it? What's the sugar content?
Starting point is 01:04:54 No, I don't even want to know. Don't tell me. I don't know. Don't post it in the chat. I don't even want to know. All I'm saying is just take a sip of the tequila Rita. He's looking it up. And I mean, he's not going to drink.
Starting point is 01:05:02 Just do one sip. It's not going to, it's not going to kill you. I might. I don't know, unless you're allergic to buzz balls. we'll find out. Okay. What's the show? Do you want to know?
Starting point is 01:05:12 May as well. It varies between 11 and 30 grams depending on which flavor you get. Okay. Just a sip. Honestly, probably more. One of Erlvan and Susan's cookies was probably 12 grams of sugar.
Starting point is 01:05:30 If that. It was delicious. Made with love. What was your favorite cookie that they brought us? Which one that you definitely tried? Did you like the month? The one that you ate. That was my favorite one.
Starting point is 01:05:45 Do you think that Chelsea actually made two muffins or did she just make one muffin and Dylan is so sugar consciousness? He said, no, she made this one for you, Dave. No, I ate one here. I did eat one. It's a good conspiracy. She packed two for me. I never had a chocolate muffin. I'll take a, I know you're listening, Chelsea.
Starting point is 01:06:06 I'll take a muffin. No, she said she didn't want to make anything for you. I'll take a muffin. No, I'm hungry. I'm not thirsty. I'm hungry for muffins. Hmm, hungry. Yeah, Zach's right.
Starting point is 01:06:18 Yeah, okay. Okay. Okay. I've already apologized to Erlvan. That's my dog now, dude. I wonder how much weight Earlvin lost on his honeymoon. Tune in the restaurant week for that one. I couldn't even read it.
Starting point is 01:06:33 The email was just so like, it was making me nauseous reading it. It was just hell. His email was hell. Dylan, do you rip off the crust and go fingers on the cheese? I don't rip off. I hold it. I hold it. No, okay. I would be so mad. If I ever see someone remove the crust before eating it, that's too much. You want you need the crust. There's like a strong folding base. Yeah, you got you got to have the crust. The chat's cooking with that one. Jeez. All right. Time to talk weekend. You mean this weekend and fun? Bro, let's go out this weekend. There's a crazy event happening. I like to turn up.
Starting point is 01:07:11 Brod, there's a crazy event happening. We had the party and it was lit. I got yielded. my prostitute. Let's just go have fun and let go with it. Little more trials, let's go. This week, getting fun, presented by Bonobos. Bonobos is one of those brands where you put something on and immediately noticed the difference. Their clothing always feels great
Starting point is 01:07:29 and the pieces are built to move more seamlessly between casual and elevated moments without needing a full outfit change. I got the linen pants, which I am, I've worn linen pants in the past, typically on vacation, but these I wear just around town. I mean, you catch me around, maybe reviewing a frozen beverage. I might be wearing linen pants from Bonobos.
Starting point is 01:07:51 Better not be. If you didn't know they were originally popular for nailing the perfect fit in men's pants, that's kind of where I heard about them. Before that, everything was either too boxy or weirdly tight in the wrong spots. Bonobos came in, fixed that problem, and guys noticed right away. Now they've taken that same approach to your entire wardrobe. If you have the boardwalk pant, the coastal five pocket pant, a versatile everyday pant that works in all situations from casual to elevated.
Starting point is 01:08:17 Check them out. They got famous from the pants, but dude, the shirts now, the polos, they're great. Wear them to dinner, just hang out in the weekend, watching a show, maybe going to see Beetlejuice a play with a sitting senator, all that stuff. With big sales running throughout the summer, you can get great clothes at a great price. So put all Bonobos, feel good, and get on with your day. Right now, head to bonobos.com slash steam and use code Steam for 25% off your order. Once again, that's B-O-N-O-B-O-S.com backslash Steam for 25% off.
Starting point is 01:08:47 And make sure you use our code Steam so they know we sent you. Dylan, what are you doing? Thanks for asking, Dave. Don't have a ton going on tomorrow, Friday, that is. Got the little guy. Buzz balls. Probably step out for dinner somewhere. Buzz balls.
Starting point is 01:09:03 He'll probably try to convince me to have a so he can have a sleepover. That's usually what he does come Friday. We'll see about it. Saturday is my mom's birthday. And I don't think she's listening. I think we're going to go out there and surprise her out at the ranch. I think that's going to be the plan for a Saturday. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:21 Yeah. She, that'll make her daddy. Go pay your respect to the horses, to the stable. No, I'm still scared of the horses. And that's pretty much all I had. Somebody sent me a Instagram video.
Starting point is 01:09:33 It was, you can sign up to win two free therapy sessions from horse therapy. And the video was like this woman laying on a massage table. and like just the horse just like putting its head like what on her chest and like that's the horse there how they get the horse to do it probably trained okay i mean horses that's weird i don't know if you ever done that i haven't i'll tell you what i'm due for a mattles trip at some point mattle ranchos a metal ranchos a metal ranchos and maddo rancos how's the frozen and matt compared to other restaurant it's really good really good we'll find out in a later review when i debut
Starting point is 01:10:10 that one. They have a can't say anything about it. They have a skinny frozen that's quite good. Which tastes, it's probably just I have no, I won't criticize you for drinking skinnies. I get skinnies there. If I'm drinking, if I'm not drinking beer, I get a skinny. They're top tier.
Starting point is 01:10:27 A sugary marg will give me just the worst headache. Not only the next day, but like later on in the night. It's like a two hours later, I've got a headache because I drank the most sugary mark. I'm a little bitch about sugary. cocktails. Ranny's not.
Starting point is 01:10:42 No, to be young again. What about your weekend? What are you like three six? I'm 32. Right now, not too sure what the weekend looks like. I think we're trying to go to San Antonio, me and Megan,
Starting point is 01:10:55 go visit old, my axe roommate. He lives now down in San Antonio. So we might go down there for a night over. That's the current plan. Maybe San Antonio. maybe see the river walk i heard it's just like venice that's what people have been saying good callback no don't go ask for okay we have listeners in san antonio ask for restaurant recommendation
Starting point is 01:11:24 get them and go i really want you to because the food there is great mexican food there that blows austin mexican food out of the water all right if the comments are accurate uh that's always the comment dav go ahead and ask me for a recommendation give people tell people to give me recommendations Hey, give Randy recommendations for his dinner in San Antonio. Thank you. I can't ask, otherwise it won't happen. So someone has to ask, I might be housed. Got it.
Starting point is 01:11:52 But yeah, that's pretty much it. I'm jealous because every time we go there, we're going to, we were already, like, spoken for our meals. I can never, like, go find some cool place. So. Ooh. There is a rainforest cafe in San Antonio, isn't it? Why not?
Starting point is 01:12:05 Go to rainforest. I find. You know what, do you? I want to go to the one in Houston. That one has a boat. Pretty sure. Okay. I think it's next to Bubba Gump and shrimp.
Starting point is 01:12:15 Imagine me doing a frozen review from a rainforest cafe. Imagine that. It's vibe. It can say it's never been done. I'm in the middle of the frozen review and the freaking thunderstorm goes off and the gorilla goes wild.
Starting point is 01:12:30 Animatronics? Yep. I haven't been in a while. Although, I mean, I do have two kids. So it's definitely in, play. There's not one in Austin. We used to go there every single time we went downtown in Chicago, RIP to that one. We always, as a family, used to go when we were kids. It was awesome. We get the volcano. It was like a chocolate lava cake that came out with a sparkler.
Starting point is 01:12:54 Okay. Love that. Also love, I've got swim lesson number two for my youngest. Swim lesson number one was not a failure. He's two and a half. I knew this is going to be pushing it. but he did not want to. I couldn't just do like that. Here you go, coach. Here's my son. Take him and teach him to swim. No,
Starting point is 01:13:18 I ended up having to get in the water with him and holding him the entire time. You got the swim lesson too, right? Yeah. And I could tell, I mean, it's not the first time that's happened to her, but like I could tell I was probably,
Starting point is 01:13:29 we were probably making the lesson for the other kid less good because we were there. He was doing the stuff. It was just me holding him. I don't know how to do. This is going to work. They're complimentary lessons.
Starting point is 01:13:42 They give you like a free month when you add somebody. So I'm not paying for them. I thought I was, but I'm not. So that's cool. So that's my Saturday morning. Definitely going to parlay that into a pool morning at the, at the pool. Because my, there's no way we just, that my oldest boy just lets us go to the pool and come home. He's going to want to meet us there and go do a full pool session.
Starting point is 01:14:08 So we've got that going. Other than that, nothing on the books. Nothing on the books. Kind of freed up. Kind of nice. Back-to-back weekends of rest. Reading a book, almost finished all the pretty horses,
Starting point is 01:14:24 speaking of. So we're going to finish that. Then I'm going to watch the movie. Matt Damon Penelty Cruz. So how about that? That is my weekend. Kids, if that's not fun, I don't know what is. safe out there, guys.
Starting point is 01:14:40 If you think that weekend sucked, you're a bitch. Whoa. Maybe I'll have, what is it, a buzzball? Let's crack one right now, dude. Okay, see? Oh, I'm just kidding. I'll crack one tomorrow. All right.
Starting point is 01:14:54 We'll do a little video. Do a camera or a video. Do a camera, I said. That means it's time to stop podcasting for the week. Great stuff. Bye. Hey, see you on Patreon for listener voicemail. No, run it back?
Starting point is 01:15:05 Run it back. Oh, yeah, shit. Run it back. By the way, he forgot the music again today. I did. I'm sorry, man. I'll be better. It's still new.
Starting point is 01:15:14 You're not locked. We've got a short one this week. Of course, running back is the segment during which we talk about what we talked about all week long. Ranny went to a pop-up pirate bar last weekend. No frozen, so I didn't do a review there. Dave went hunk hunting at Pine House. Came up empty. Hunking.
Starting point is 01:15:32 Dave would cry if he missed a message from someone offering him master's practice round tickets. Yeah, I would. And finally, someone has definitely done a T-Bomp on the golf course. Did that guy get back to you on the LSU game? He did not, and he's one of these guys who doesn't, he's not on Twitter very often. So I don't know if he's ever going to look, everybody going to see it. Do you, did you try to find him on Instagram maybe? No.
Starting point is 01:15:54 This is something it's okay to be very thirsty about. Yeah, maybe so. All right. See you tomorrow for voicemails. Bye. Bye. Bye.
