Starting point is 00:00:00 It's a cold podcast open. It's a cold, cold open. Which checks out as it's a probably a 66 degree room. You turn it up 70. I'm not complaining though. It's last night is like one of the best night sleeps I've had is in months. I turned it up when I got in here because it was frigid. I asked Brett was like, dude, we can't do this. You guys don't have kings to meet locker in here. I have a king because I am one He said he he has a king because he is one yeah, that's what I said bitch
Starting point is 00:00:55 Hey, we are live from Greenville, South Carolina Carolina Greenville, South Carolina South Carolina hey Dylan chivalry first all, I love this little town. I would absolutely live here. Really? Yeah, absolutely, I love it. Okay. Maybe because it's like,
Starting point is 00:01:13 I got in later than you and I haven't had a chance to look at anything. Maybe because it's cool here right now. It's like the high is like 83 or something today, which is really nice, much cooler than Austin. But this town is my speed. And it's pretty, man. Everything I've seen thus far is great.
Starting point is 00:01:32 I got in at about 10.30 last night. And I went home, took a shower, get that airport stank off me. Oh yeah, you get that stank off you. And yeah, outside of our Bus that took us to the BMW factory. I have not seen much of it, but everything thus far is positive It's very seems cool. We're gonna do a downtown walk to be fair. I haven't really walked around much I'm gonna do that right after we record this well, you're moving here last night after dinner
Starting point is 00:02:00 I had a had a beer and a couple glasses of wine and daddy was just tired from a long day of traveling And I was in bed at but like eight and Asleep by like 830 so I don't know what my problem is but which is 730 in Austin by the way I Just I just got crazy tired, so I'm gonna today. I'm gonna really explore the town downtown Greenville Where did you eat dinner? I like the vibe though here at the hotel. They had a dinner for us. Oh Set up Juniper
Starting point is 00:02:34 Right next door. It's called Jasmine Just a little Jay Z. It's like a little banquet hall. They had a little bar in there and They had some fried shrimp and some bacon wrapped dates which were fire you ever taken a girl on brought her home and wrapped her up in bacon prime rib and gave her that prime rib I had some prime rib it was really good primary is delightful even though a guy once told me prime rib is for poor people primary was really expensive all right his no his word was prime rib is for peasants and Prime rib is really expensive. All right, his, no, his word was prime rib is for peasants.
Starting point is 00:03:06 And I never, I could never, I never understood it. Cause I was like, I was like, first of all, you know I love prime rib. It was so good. You're calling me a peasant. People used to call you prime rib, I think. They did. They did.
Starting point is 00:03:18 Yes, I just came back to the room and I was a tired boy. That's it. The weirdest thing about where we're doing the show is it's Brett's room. Brett doesn't have a mic. He's just sitting over on his bed with his laptop not participating in the show He's clickety clacking on something though He's got I like how Brett clickety clacks, but it's not quite Randy Yeah, it's gaming keyboard. You bring Randy's keyboard with you and things too quiet. They would that wouldn't make it through security Have to do a special check yeah so why are we in greenville south carolina davis what some people
Starting point is 00:03:50 are probably wondering at this point why are we mailing in a pod what are we doing here well why are you mailing in this is where bmw has their uh factory in the united states they have a few situated around the world but the one in the united states is right here In spartenberg actually south carolina. How does it compare to the factory that you work on weekends? Uh, I don't know what factor you're talking about Anyway today we got a tour of the factory and it was sick that by the way, it's it's the biggest Building or group of buildings complex i've ever seen in my entire life By the way, it's the biggest building, or group of buildings complex I've ever seen
Starting point is 00:04:27 in my entire life. I think they said. 1100 acres, is that correct? They said it was eight million square feet. Eesh, and that's just under a roof, right? Yeah. It's not even counting the entire property. And some of it is like double layered,
Starting point is 00:04:38 because they have the mezzanine above you, where they transport cars across the factory. So it's the biggest thing I've ever seen in my life Yeah, it was sick watching those robots work. Yeah, I've got a I've got to just go ahead and own up to this you'll hear about this more when we put all the video but I've severely underestimated and underappreciated the robot Okay, I was walking through that factory You know I was looking at how big the space is
Starting point is 00:05:07 and all the high tech stuff, the computers and the robots. I'm just thinking like, man, what did all this cost? What's the damage? One of those robots has gotta be like $2 million and they have just thousands of them in there. They're not like, they're all like so fluid in their movement and so quick and precise.
Starting point is 00:05:29 You see it's programmed by computers, David. And there's like the robot techs there and they're just, their job is just, I guess, something goes wrong, they fix it. Or if that thing gets a conscious of its own. They shut it down. Yeah. They pull out a weapon.
Starting point is 00:05:44 I think they just like stand around with Wd-40 make sure that they're moving on like you're supposed to and all that, you know, yeah Are you allowed to it's quite a situation and you can't they're very you have to turn your phone off Not not just keep it in your pocket You got it. You got to turn it all the way off Which I've got to admit I have not done a hard just a purposeful turning off of my phone in a long time, and it took me a second to remember how to do it. Yeah. Every now and then it's good for your phone
Starting point is 00:06:10 to shut off and turn it back on. Yeah, you know, just kind of go off the grid, unplug a little bit. Man, and then we got, they have a little, when you walk in, it's like a, you know, like a showroom floor situation with like some old classic BMWs in there.
Starting point is 00:06:27 And then as we're sitting there watching a little video about how stuff's made, they pull in the 007 car, the one Pierce Brosnan drove. So we were lucky for that. That's not something they do for every tour. They had to use, somebody was using it for something and it just happened to be being returned and the way they return it,
Starting point is 00:06:49 I guess that's the only way they would do it is they open up the door and a guy just goes and drives it in. And he didn't just carefully drive it in. I felt like he was a little bit. Yeah, it was like it was his daily driver and he just, I'm gonna go park this thing now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:03 It was cool. Yeah, it was. That was a lot of fun. Makes me wanna buy a BMW one day. Yeah, I was kinda hoping the tour would end with them tossing me some keys. Yeah, by the way, you canceled your flight back because you were gonna go home in this.
Starting point is 00:07:19 Okay man, just take it, take the car. It's been fun so far. We haven't got to the crazy stuff yet either, which is we get to do hot laps tomorrow and And whip a beamer around I heard you're gonna do a cold lap. Is that true? No a cold and damp I'm gonna turn mine up all the way actually All the heat did you hear that? Did you hear her mention the off-road track? Yes
Starting point is 00:07:42 We're not that's employee. Yeah, you can't do an off road track. You're not cut off. I've got a more off road than you. They have a wet track. If you want to do donuts and shit, they said. Well, that's why they're bringing me out early tomorrow to just shoot Jays and just wet that thing down. That's their whole plan. I just figured they'd spray it with water or something. You think that's what they do? That's what I would guess, I don't know. Maybe they just drizzle some olive oil. They said I could ghost ride one of them.
Starting point is 00:08:10 Yeah? Yeah. I heard they had a Mini Cooper for you. You could ghost ride? Yeah, they did. You gotta be careful with that. It could get away from you real quick. Little tiny boy.
Starting point is 00:08:19 We did get to see a bunch of cool Mini Coopers. Yeah, we did. I didn't realize that they were in the BMW family. I did not either. Learned something today. Yeah. Learned a lot today actually. Like how a car is put together, mostly by robots.
Starting point is 00:08:33 They even do the welding. So I was thinking like, you know, there's a few people, a few companies, very expensive ones that still do cars all by hand. Like Bugatti. That's gotta take a real long time. Yeah, Bugatti. That's gotta be a real long time. Yeah. That's gotta be a real beating. It takes them like a week to make one of them. They should just
Starting point is 00:08:48 get robots. Okay. Also they make so many cars. Yeah. It's like there's so many cars on the road. You know, it's like who's buying all these cars and they don't do on demand or no, they do it on demand. They're not doing like, they're not making them in bulk and then just hoping they get sold It's all like requested by people or dealers. It's crazy. So many BMWs out there. Yeah Huh? anyway Cars are cool These cars are sick, man. I legit want one
Starting point is 00:09:21 So that was our day. It's only like 1 o'clock, 1 30. So yeah, we still have, uh, we just had lunch. Did you go get coffee? We got full Tom Toms. I just use the coffee maker in my room. It's a good, it's coffee. This job. It's coffee. Yeah, I'm probably gonna need a coffee before we hit the road or go to go downtown. We've pretty much got the rest of the day open. There's a dinner tonight. We have a dinner at Sobe's tonight. Which people on Twitter tell me is a very
Starting point is 00:09:49 good restaurant oh really I've got a number of people reach out with recommendations and for that I say thank you the barbecue place that Brett went to yesterday also had a lot of love on Twitter and Brett said it was fantastic I have to try it because I'm willing to give Brett a little bit of... I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt but he did say that the brisket was his favorite brisket better than Terry Blacks. Better than Terry Blacks. Saying a lot because Terry Blacks is quite good. Now Brett is from New York so let's keep that in mind. That's true. His palate isn't as refined as ours when it comes to Q. No he doesn't he doesn't respect the texture of a
Starting point is 00:10:28 no of a brisket. He doesn't quite get it. He's working on it. What do you want to do? I just had a big weekend I'm here now. What'd you do? Oh yeah talk to us about Wisconsin. You want to shout out our friends at Rocket Money first? That's probably a good idea. I mean I'm gonna be looking for that rocket money update my inbox here pretty soon. Oh, yeah, you've had a You've had an expensive few days Thank God for rocket money because you know where they're gonna save me some money subscriptions subscriptions that I don't even remember owning or having most Americans think they spend about $62 per year
Starting point is 00:11:05 on subscriptions, but real number is closer to 300. That's crazy. That seems low for me. It's the ones that you forget about. You sign up for something and you just kind of let it ride. Like, oh shit, you figure it out months later thanks to Rocket Money. A personal finance app, Dylan.
Starting point is 00:11:22 Finds and cancels your unwanted subscriptions, monitors your spending and helps lower your bills So you can grow your savings with rocket money? I've got full control over my subscriptions and a clear view of my expenses I can see all my subscriptions in one place If I see something I don't want rocket money can help me cancel it with a few taps The dashboard is great. The dashboard shows me this month spending compared to last month so I can see what my spending habits are. I like to track the numbers. I'm looking at the analytics. Rocket Money has over 5 million users and has saved a total of $500
Starting point is 00:11:54 million in cancelled subscriptions, saving members up to $740 a year when using all the app's features. Stop wasting money on things you don't use Cancel your unwanted subscriptions by going to rocket money comm slash circling. It's rocket money comm slash circling Enough time has passed the read is over. I will make an admission My voice sounds terrible. I've got time. I've got big weekend voice. I've done like you always do I feel like I sound I got a little Randy in me old post Randy Weekend so yeah, I was out last Thursday and Friday Booked this trip a while back Guys in my fantasy league I went to college with we do a
Starting point is 00:12:39 fantasy draft in Theory, there's a draft involved We do a trip every year typically we stay around like Central Texas but we decided finally like we got to get out of here it's too hot it's all good August in Texas not fun and like I don't know we're all like pushing 40 if we're not already 40 so we may as well do it so somebody got served an ad on Instagram for Geneva National, which is southern Wisconsin. Did you get it? Yeah, no one's making adjustments over
Starting point is 00:13:14 here. It's about 90 ish, maybe a little less than 90 minutes north of O'Hare. You can also fly into Milwaukee and it's a little bit quicker. But we that's what we did. We flew into Chicago rented a truck drove up that way and Wisconsin kind of rules it's it's Phenomenal everybody gassed it up as like a golf place and just as you know people in general and scenery lived up to the hype We were in I guess in between or near Lake Como and Lake Geneva that are right there and there's a players course a Gary player course a
Starting point is 00:13:57 Lee Trevino course and an Arnold Palmer course. I did not play the Trevino but I heard it was great and yeah, we just played We did a low ball situation we did some scramble stuff there was a little alt shot involved too and it was a blast and Go low Played okay. I hit I definitely like how I hit the ball You know these I wouldn't say these are like necessarily resort courses are like, you know executive courses They're a little bit there's a little bit of character to them a big fan of the player course, but Played some golf Did the high noons on the course did some did some fireball mixed it up tell us about your draft surely you
Starting point is 00:14:42 You got a good team to tell us about. Your fantasy football draft that is. Oh, you want to know about my team? Well, let me tell you about it when we draft in the next week or two. They went to Wisconsin for a fantasy football draft and didn't have a fantasy football draft. Yeah, everybody just kind of wanted to go to the pool
Starting point is 00:14:57 and then just go to the bars. I get it. Yeah, just do an online draft at some point. Yeah, you get squared away. Hopefully none of the wives are listening to this since it's the number one selling point we have is like this is where we're doing our draft like You know, I don't have any friends. I'm over 35. We don't make new friends. So this is like my one thing And uh, yeah, we just get up there and it's like man. All these guys are getting hurt already like it's too early
Starting point is 00:15:22 Also, also let's go to the bar. Let's go downtown. Which we did. And I saw a washed media hat in the wild. Shout out to Mitch. Opto backer, he claims. I've got no reason to not believe him, but. Ran into a backer at the Austin airport and then one at the Atlanta airport.
Starting point is 00:15:42 Actually rode on a flight here with me. Both called me Dorn, which you love. Hey, speaking of going low, do you see that I shot a 30 under Golden T on Friday? Oh, so not on the stream? No, not on the stream. Is that your all-time low? That's my third time, it is my all-time low,
Starting point is 00:16:01 it's my third time getting it. Okay. Pretty big stuff. That's great. 30 under. Well, getting it. Okay, pretty big stuff. That's great 30 under what course? Easter Island shot of 40 Which you don't see too often. That's hilarious. Yeah shot of 40 any hole outs or I got a hole in one and number two And then that first time I even mixed in a par and still shot a 30 under
Starting point is 00:16:22 Did you want to rage quit when you made that par? No, because I knew that I was, the hole in one allowed me to give up a stroke somewhere along the way. And that's the one I gave up. It's a birdie hole, it's not an eagle hole. So I just give up one stroke there. Okay. Anyway, the rest of my weekend,
Starting point is 00:16:39 just some family stuff really. Just chilled with the fam and with Chelsea, got a little swim off and it was a good time man. Where y'all swimming? Just at my place. Okay. Just in my place yeah it was cool yeah. You know little man. Where do you stand on cheese curds? I like cheese curds dude like fried they're fucking they. They're dangerous. You know the only time I've ever had them actually is at the Super Bowl in Minnesota. So these were stadium cheese curds and they were fantastic.
Starting point is 00:17:15 But I don't know how they compare to like, I don't know how close they were to like the real thing, you know. Well they were, dude. They are good. They put a plate on your table and you just sit there, you can eat 25 of them. It's unbelievable. It's like a, it's a much better tater tot. It's a tater tot with cheese. There's no potato.
Starting point is 00:17:35 Yeah, I know, but it- That's what a tater tot is, is potato tater. I know, but you take out the potato. And you just fill it with cheese and stuff. Right. Yeah. Also, probably better than mozzarella stick. They're quite good. Do you have a little little dipping situation? You just house them think they hit us with a jalapeno ranch, okay? Okay, yeah, they're good also did a beef. I need to do Wisconsin man. Yeah, I need to do it. We weren't that far I mean
Starting point is 00:18:00 There was talks of maybe driving into Madison Which would have been a terrible point like the last night there was somebody threw out. Let's run a party bus Let's drive. Let's go down to Chicago and just stay in Chicago. What we didn't do that. Not a good idea. No But yes, so my travel day yesterday drive from Geneva back to Chicago board my plane boards at 302 got delayed 40 minutes figured I was gonna miss my connecting flight as there was
Starting point is 00:18:36 like an eight-minute window and so was on with Delta Delta hooked me up with another flight and they said we're gonna keep boat just in case. We're flying, we're making great time. Rain thunderstorm in Atlanta puts us in a holding pattern. So I'm like, well, I'm not gonna make that flight. So I guess I'm getting in at like midnight. We land, I check it. The original connecting flight got delayed because of something else.
Starting point is 00:19:04 So I made that flight. But it was just a long day of travel people I used to kind of be envious of people who traveled for work a lot because it just I don't know It just seems kind of fun. Yeah, I Don't think I'm built. I'm not that guy pal I think like once a quarter is like a perfect amount of travel for work if you're yeah But if you're doing like once a month even, No. That's not me, man. Uh-uh. In this fall, we've got a busy fall.
Starting point is 00:19:29 This is the most we've traveled for work. Ever. Ever. Yeah, that's true. Hey, Brett, are we going to publish this today? Like, okay. All right. I'm asking because we might do, he said yes, by the way, he can't hear
Starting point is 00:19:46 We might do I can impromptu like hey, we're gonna go to a bar later For the people who are in Greenville. We'll put up a put up a pee flare a podcast We'll put up a podcast flare Circling back as a sticker. We have dinner at Sobe's I think seven o'clock and then we're gonna We're not gonna go to bed after that is what I'm trying to say. All right, so if you are in town, dude I don't know or within Within spitting range of us then yeah, just keep your eyes peeled Don't hawk to us. No don't spit on us, but you know saying I
Starting point is 00:20:22 Don't know man that my room is like 68 degrees, and it gets really dark. And that was as good of a night's sleep as I've had in a long time. I know, but this is your last night in Greenville. I know. No, I'll make it out. I'll make it out. I need to get out and get some sun here in a bit,
Starting point is 00:20:37 walk downtown. Is there anything that people have told us, no, you gotta go here outside of restaurants? I've just gotten restaurant and bar racks, that's it. Come. There's a little river situation down here that looks really cool. Like right here. What river?
Starting point is 00:20:54 Like right down here. Okay. We're gonna go check it out after this. I was thinking about going to the Blue Ridge and doing a little hike. You wanna walk out or drive out to the Blue Ridge Mountains? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:05 I didn't realize that we were close enough to see them from town, but you certainly can. Yeah, I didn't realize that either. Yeah. I gotta admit, inner South Carolina, I was utterly unfamiliar with. Yeah. You know the coastal play.
Starting point is 00:21:18 Yeah, it feels like real SEC country, even though Clemson is the closest. The airport is decked out in Clemson stuff. Yeah, this is a Clemson is the closest the airport is deck decked out in Clemson stuff yeah this is a Clemson town yeah for sure and you said that's not that far 20 30 minutes that's what Brett said but we know how bread is oh good point geography 45 something like that but I think people fly into here when they're going to Clemson. Okay. It's the nearest decently sized airport. What else? What have I missed? I missed anything?
Starting point is 00:21:50 Like at work or anything? I haven't checked in. You missed me shooting a 30 under. That's big. That's big. No, we're getting merch squared away. This is a- Merch week. Oh yeah, this is a big week guys.
Starting point is 00:22:00 And we've been talking about merch week. And like it has been, but this is a real merch week. I think we're launching the new store this week I think I showed my guy backer Mitch I gave him a look behind the curtain into our merch slack you did and you pop you popped the hood for him wow okay yeah was he was he horny or what happened? Result I think he sounded positive about it. Yeah, I think I may have told him I could get him a discount I don't know if that's even true. So sorry, bitch Sorry, I would you promise it. Oh, so Mitch we know all right, so he wanted to take a pic so we did and
Starting point is 00:22:39 This is like a crowded bar or whatever No, but we weren't the oldest there by any means, but this kicked off a bunch of activity of people wondering who I was. People saw me taking pics and they're like, this guy is somebody. Is that the D man? There were people who did not know me, didn't know the podcast, probably don't even listen to podcasts. They were like, hey, can we go ahead and get a pick with you too?
Starting point is 00:23:05 Just in case you are somebody. I'm like, yeah, you can. I mean, I don't really know what you're going to do with this, but yeah, let's do it. The next day they're trying to figure it out. They don't want to miss out. It's a FOMO thing. They're in a group text with all their friends. Like, do you know who this guy is?
Starting point is 00:23:21 Does anybody know this dude? We can't figure it out, but we know he's famous. He looks familiar, but... Yeah, that's the D-Man. Oh, a girl told me I look like Morgan Wallen. Okay. I don't not see it. I've seen it on the Reddit.
Starting point is 00:23:36 The subreddit, there's somebody who posted a pic. I've never been told that in the wild. Yeah. You're not giving Morgan Wallen. Is he handsome? Because I don't think he's one of the more attractive ones. I think he's country handsome. Okay, I've gotten that too.
Starting point is 00:23:54 You do that a lot, don't you? Yeah. He's country handsome. It's a thing. Put that in my... Yeah. Oh man, new bit just dropped. He shows up to the function in a cutoff t-shirt, you know, in a mullet.
Starting point is 00:24:07 And he's like, oh, that guy's cute. But he's not traditionally good looking. He's country handsome. He's country handsome. Man, I think I might get like a small, like tasteful face tap. Okay, like while we're here? No, yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:23 I'll see if anybody has any tattoo parlors they like or any artists. Like what are're here? No, yeah. I'll see if anybody has any tattoo parlors they like or any artists. Like what are you thinking? Maybe cross or maybe the BMW logo right here. Yeah. Where like a teardrop would go. Oh by the way, all my life I thought that the logo
Starting point is 00:24:38 was an homage to like the propeller against a blue sky. And they's like that it's a common misconception to like the propeller against a blue sky. And then he's like, that it's a common misconception, but that's not what it is. Yeah, what was it exactly? It's just the colors of the Bavarian flag. BMW is Bavarian Motorworks. Shout out Bavaria. A lot of beer.
Starting point is 00:25:02 Sure, yeah. I didn't want to say anything, but I was technically born in Bavaria, so really Munich Wow, you should have said something. Well, you know, I didn't want to interrupt the tour She was rolling tour guide was great. She was great Got to wear those dope glasses. There was no communication once the tour started and we had the little headset on I was fine with that. No one said a word except for the tour guide and that's my kind of tour. That's great.
Starting point is 00:25:27 No dumb ass questions from the people there that are trying to use up everybody's time. I was worried about that. It's like, what are you doing? Like this is not your tour, it's our tour. Yeah, no, they were in control and I was totally fine with it. Yeah, so what colors do you get to pick from?
Starting point is 00:25:42 Is there any, do you know about the later later models like what they're working on now? There we did have a guy in that tour who looked like he was chomping at the bed So my lead range on the the new electric x5. What's the? Know the guy in front of me shut up with his wife He looked like he was just itching and get get a word in you wanted to say oh my god He was following right behind her too yeah those headsets were swagged out though I started hurting my ears I took mine off I couldn't do it anymore I was scared to even take them out because I was afraid like they were
Starting point is 00:26:15 gonna come tap me on the shoulder and bring me down to the private room and take a hammer to your hands put my head in vice. They do seem pretty strict on some things, but I get it, man. She said, she's like, very controlled environment. She's like, there's cameras everywhere, and if you're seen with your phone out at all, they'll come tap you on the shoulder and remove you.
Starting point is 00:26:34 They're very serious. Where do they take you? I wanted to go stick my face in front of the big paint thing, just, and leave with like a matte black on my face. 20 pounds of paint. Yeah. big paint thing, and leave with a matte black on my face. 20 pounds of paint. Yeah. Which I guess makes sense, but I've never really
Starting point is 00:26:51 thought about it in weight. It's a lot of paint. It feels like a lot of paint. Yeah. The one question I wanted to ask is, what if I wanted to get this candied out? What if I want to? I'm also going to pay extra for candy paint
Starting point is 00:27:10 By the way a couple minutes ago I said I want to stick my my face in front of the black paint there wasn't a blackface joke I hope it didn't sound like that. I didn't notice you said that. Okay. I didn't want people think I was making some kind of Fucking Justin Trudeau just joined us some kind of. Fucking Justin Trudeau just joined us. Jeez. Yeah, you gonna actually for candy paint on those? I just wanna go up to that biggest robot, the one that deals with the chassis,
Starting point is 00:27:34 I don't know what it was, like the hood. And I just wanna let it end it. I just wanna go out via robot. No, I want that big thing to pick me up. I want it to ragdoll me around. Dude, those things are so sick. They're terrifying. The only question I would have asked is how much do one of these robots cost?
Starting point is 00:27:58 They cost anywhere between like $200,000 and like $20 million. And I want to know the answer. I think it's got to be, I think it's about $500,000 and like 20 million dollars and I can't I want to know the answer I think it's gotta be I think it's about five five thousand five hundred thousand for just for one right right has to be Those are incredibly high tech. There's so many things although I see that they haven't been able to go wireless yet Which is a problem we're having as well They need to get randy to work there. He'll figure it out in two weeks Or never in our case whatever what's the latest on his story whose story Randy I saw last I saw
Starting point is 00:28:33 he was doing it the Nintendo thing in Japan talking Randy son he doesn't know this but kill shot our old inter kill shots in Japan at the same time. He's showing lots of food. Okay. Which is fine. Luckily he's mixing in other stuff. I just want to see Japan, man. Yeah. Yeah. Should we talk Lucy? Somebody brought their breakers in the factory. Do you think I was gonna show up to Greenville, South Carolina without my breakers? No, I kind of assumed you'd be holding. Oh yeah, I'm always holding. Of course, Lucy is the 100% pure nicotine, always tobacco free.
Starting point is 00:29:15 They have just the traditional pouches. My favorite is the breaker, has a little flavor capsule inside that you bite down on. I love those things. They have the gum, which I know you guys are more into. Four milligram all the way up to 12. I have found that eight milligram is my wheelhouse. The flavor I like best is the apple ice, but they have wintergreen and mango, even espresso, Dave.
Starting point is 00:29:40 Oh, by the way, the gum comes in as little as a two milligram. Don't I know it? Which I think is more Dave's speed. I've been chewing that stuff for a minute. By the way the gum comes in as little as a two milligram don't I know it which I think is For a minute. I love to take my my Lucy or just plop one in the lip But I when I want to get a little dialed in helps me at work Sometimes after lunch. I like to just get you know you kind of drag a little bit and get you back in the game Could you kind of dialed in picks up your energy levels a little bit? Let's level up your nicotine routine with Lucy. Go to Lucy.co slash
Starting point is 00:30:08 steam. Is that right, Brett? So I don't hear, but I think it's team. Yeah. Go to Lucy.co slash steam and use promo code steam to get 20% off your first order. Lucy offers free shipping and has a 30 day refund policy. If you change your mind, that's Lucy.co and use code steam to get 20% off and always free shipping. And here comes the fine print. Hey, not to get this hype train going any harder, but Brett McMurphy familiar with his work analyzing college football. Yeah
Starting point is 00:30:49 He's got Texas State making the Making the playoff shot. I swear to God the playoff like the playoff play 12th spot Seriously, yeah, he's his preseason bowl projections So Okay, I mean I don't know okay that would be really something oh yeah he's got they play like Oregon or something I mean Oregon Alabama Miami you play Alabama in the first round just getting in Tuscaloosa you bet dude you bet your ass I don'd be incredible. I don't care who they play. I don't care who they play.
Starting point is 00:31:27 Can you imagine? I'm going to the game. Fucking Texas State rolls up to like Columbus, Ohio, plays Ohio State in the horseshoe. How funny would that be? It would be awesome until the game started. I mean. That'd be so funny. would be it would be TCU, Georgia Yeah, probably worse. Yeah, probably but that'd be it still be a huge accomplishment
Starting point is 00:32:01 Yes, huge a cop is like there's there's there's starting to get a lot of hype and now I'm worried Yeah, I'm a little worried about that. Jay's got.'s got those boys humming though. Yeah, gotta enjoy it while you got them. Well, what else we got? I don't know. I'm excited for to see the town tonight. Very excited for that. I was thinking about staying in and watching the town. David, stop.
Starting point is 00:32:21 I've only seen it a few times. Pretty good movie. So many jokes. You ever seen it? They tried to fucking rob Fenway. Yes, I've seen always seen it a few times. Pretty good movie. You ever seen it? They tried to fucking rob Fenway. Yes, I've seen it. We're gonna go. It's our fucking last job.
Starting point is 00:32:31 I need you to help me with something. We're gonna hurt somebody. And you can't ask me about it. Oh yeah. All right, who car are we taking? That's what he said. Is he getting, him and JLo getting divorced? Did they even get remarried again? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:47 I thought they just got back together but not married. No. No. It's weird to divorce the same person twice, right? Doesn't usually happen. I don't know. I don't know. Did they get married the first time?
Starting point is 00:33:00 But these are the Hollywood types. They play by their own rules. It's a different lifestyle. Nothing's weird for them. Hey, people in Wisconsin are really friendly. Okay. Wisconsin, but here's the funny thing. Every person we met at the pool,
Starting point is 00:33:15 you know, you make a lot of friends at the pool, that's where you make friends. Either from Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, right? They're like, where are you from? Tell them Texas. Everyone is shocked that anybody from Texas would be up there. They're like, why did you come here? Really?
Starting point is 00:33:32 They don't think it's that cool. Like, they know it's nice, but they're like, it's not a destination. So I think we might be the first people to actually open the floodgates and kind of ruin it. So I think you guys got about three more years of enjoying that part of Wisconsin before like it's just a bunch of dudes like us who go up there and by the way the dumbest wash media argument currently and we've had some dumb ones in the past is who has the nicer people the Midwest or the south like it like Rainey gets particularly fired up about this he's like
Starting point is 00:34:04 yo yo y'all don't understand like everyone like everyone says hi like you getting gas and people like hey what's up like okay I don't know why this needs to be a competition like they're nice people in different parts of the country like the level of nice like sure are you okay well I'm gonna hit him with some anecdotal evidence we got gas we had to gas up the truck you know how many people said hi to us? Nobody. Nobody.
Starting point is 00:34:27 Oh, we stopped at a weed store in Illinois. Oh yeah? Yeah. Apparently it's really expensive in Illinois. Yeah, it's also. Maybe that was just Chicago that they were talking about. I don't know. Well, we did, we stopped at one.
Starting point is 00:34:39 I didn't even go in, because I was like, I don't really need anything. I'll sit out here, because we had all the luggage and clubs in the back. Plus you already had that sticky back at home. I had the early bird in the bag, which I'm always like, am I supposed to travel with this or no?
Starting point is 00:34:52 And I'm like, I don't know why I'm doing it. It's not like I don't care. Yeah, I don't care. People are probably wondering like why Will isn't here. Oh yeah. We should call him. We don't have the capabilities of calling him, do we? Damn it.
Starting point is 00:35:06 Yeah, Will's not here because he's leaving very soon for Italy. Like in three days, I think. Is he going that soon? I think so. Like Thursday or something? Yeah, and he's already getting away from his kids for a long trip and he didn't wanna go back to back trips
Starting point is 00:35:19 and so he's not here. I don't know how people with kids travel a lot. Like if you had a job that required you to be gone that much. Yeah, I think it's not here. I don't know how people with kids travel a lot Like like if you had a job that required you to be gone that much I think it's just tough cuz like yeah, I'm getting like mega cute pics. It's like oh, yeah, here's Or even like oh, yeah, Randy that your dogs looking for you or like oh, yeah Rhodes is Rhodes wanted to try on one of your shirts today, and I'm like fuck I'm gonna facetime parts later tomorrow's his first day of fourth grade, and I'm missing it I do not like that makes me sad that I'm out. I've gonna FaceTime parks later tomorrow's his first day of fourth grade, and I'm missing it
Starting point is 00:35:45 I do not like that makes me sad that I'm out. I've never missed a first day of school for him yet So I gotta miss it tomorrow. I think you should send him like a Like a singing telegram while he's in class his mom and I we always meet up together We all the three of us meet up the morning the first day school and we take them together It's kind of our little thing we do and then we have dinner afterward. Yeah, I can't be there. It's making me kind of sad. Have you met the teacher?
Starting point is 00:36:08 I did. Met her on Friday. And? She seems lovely. Seems very nice. She's very tall. Oh. Tall young lady.
Starting point is 00:36:17 Nice. Yeah, she seems great. Hey, how many times, okay, so on this trip it's like technically like BMW, it's like people from Houston mostly and They just assume everybody's from Houston But when they did any part of you think about like being like actually when she was like is there a from Houston here? I like we all just went with it, but like was there any part yeah, no actually
Starting point is 00:36:39 We're from Austin. I'm actually from Dallas originally Sarah took a New York York Brett and then Dylan he's been in Austin his whole life Yep, that's the energy we need to bring tonight a couple members of our group People in Houston might know these people I didn't know about this show a couple people on the way from the airport here I rode with our On the HBO reality show house of ho ah Ah, the Ho's the Ho family. Washington Ho himself, Washington Ho and Leslie Ho. I met them. They're very nice people there.
Starting point is 00:37:09 Yeah, they're on. They're on this little group with us. Hey, they've got a good following. Yeah, the dudes. He's a content guy. Yeah, he he hit me on your mom team. Follow back. But they're not there.
Starting point is 00:37:22 There's show like a lot of people. I know follow him so. I was unfamiliar. Might have to check it out you weren't familiar with this game let's just stay in tonight and just binge their their content okay that's one way to spend our trip are you ready to get absolutely fucking embarrassed tomorrow on that track okay that's funny I think Brett Brett you're driving right okay dude just I want gonna set the the course speed record Are they gonna let us go like real fast like really good? How they gonna stop me David. I don't know You know, they got a governor on it. Oh
Starting point is 00:37:55 I already took mine off. No, I mean like they'll call Greg Abbott He'll just hit the button. Yeah, I don't know Did they what club Brett notes off Mike that the Hoes went to the club. What club? What club is in Greenville? Dude, there's gotta be a club here. I want bottle service tonight. Are you? We'll see about it. Let's just go get, let's just go get bottles and let's go get one bottle, one KJ approved bottle, drink it, talk to zero chicks. Just get one gram off, Cole Campbell style, go to the club, just to prove that you went, post it and go home, we can still be in bed by like 11.
Starting point is 00:38:40 Cole Campbell, he's always did pictures in the middle of an empty dance floor Because like he's the only one in there. Yeah, it's real bad. So bad I watched a bunch of lost on the plane. So I'm like zooming through my lost bench Oh, I was telling Brett I watched one of the movies offered in the Delta app is the miracle oh And cool running and I'd never seen Miracle. Yeah. And I got, I, we were landing as the game was starting. God damn. I have 20 minutes left. How are you so bad at this? I have 20 minutes left. And it's, by the way, it is really really good. It's lived up to it.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Well you could probably look up how it ends. No, I mean I know, I know how the game ends, but I want to know how the movie ends. Oh man. Well that's a good choice. That's a good plane. A good plane movie. Yeah. Hey, I like flying Delta. Delta's good. I haven't flown Delta in a while. Pretty big fan. I have a shower, kind of a shower thought hill that I'm prepared to die on. Wait, shower thought. Yeah. That's a good bit. Let's make that our thing. We should. It's more that our thing. We should
Starting point is 00:39:47 It's more of an airplane thought okay Why don't we board rear to front I Feel like it would save 15 to 20 minutes of boarding time I Understand the people who pay extra for priority boarding okay, maybe you sit business class first Let them get settled and then you start rear to front. Is that typically how you do it? You know what I mean? Like, let's get serious with me for a second. What?
Starting point is 00:40:19 Because they board, people start at the front and go work their way back, right? No, you're, there's something to it. And they stop in the aisle and they're putting their suitcases up and they're getting situated and holding everyone up Then the next person does it to the next person and you slowly work the way back. But if you did it rear to front You can you can just fill the whole the whole aisle up and then people start loading their shit Like putting their stuff in the overhead compartment get settled in 15 minutes as it would save I Think there's something to that. Tell me I'm wrong. wrong I don't think so but there's got to be some reason I'm not thinking of the only reason is money people be people it's my feel important because people pay extra for priority seating that's it um the thing I hate I
Starting point is 00:41:04 forgot about this like I've typically been flying southwest is just how people just, you know, they do your priority, your zone one or whatever. And then everybody in like the next like, oh, like say they bought board zone one, then like two, three and four, everybody in two, three and four, they just fucking hover. They're just vulture and out there to where they're leaking out into the walkway. Yeah It's like dude your seats assigned Yes, I am maybe in what that's another reason why like the priority boarding like it doesn't mean much like okay
Starting point is 00:41:35 You're gonna wait an extra ten minutes on the plane because you've got it before I do your seat is already spoken for I like To minimize the time I have to be on that so do I? I Guess I could see like oh time I have to be on that plane. So do I? I Guess I could see like oh well. I got a bag. I got a you know put above me, and I don't want to lose space but There's only do you really need to get stuff out of that bag You can just like now they'll just let you check it there at the end. I love the I love the counter bag check I just do it never have a chance to know yeah, it's great. It's fine Why don't more people just do that for it? No don a chance to now. Yeah. It's great. It's fine. Why don't more people just do it? And you don't have to pay extra for it? No. You don't have to worry about it? No. Countercheck? Great.
Starting point is 00:42:08 Great. Brett, tell me I'm wrong about this. Really? Okay, so Brett's taking... Brett's another smart guy. Brett's a smart guy. Okay. It's a Brett thing. You have to let the business class people do it first. Yeah, and then do it. Because otherwise they'll throw a fit. Hey, did a rumor get started that we wanted business class for this trip?
Starting point is 00:42:36 Why? I don't know. Who did? Did Brett Sneaky try to swing business class? There is a miscommunication somewhere. You could have thrown me in with the luggage luggage. I'd be totally happy. I don't yeah, I don't mind I sat middle both ways this guy's thing on top of the plate throwing his ear hole Get off the plate sorry we have the little league world series on this kid on Venezuela Oh, you can't stand that his toes are touch touching the plate. You gotta throw at this guy
Starting point is 00:43:05 This is a 5-8. I don't care if he's 12 this kid's 12 and he's 5-8. Oh my god. That is unacceptable. Hit him. Oh Hey, they're just kids. No, you gotta throw it his face Who was it on Twitter that said they were sitting it was Blakey locks Like in an airport bar watching like sitting next to Frank Thomas. Did y'all see this talking about it? They did a zoom in on his toes He said by the big hurt Yes, he said he was just chopping it up watching Little League World Series the big hurt I think it was Blakey locks. It sounds great. It sounds phenomenal. Well, this coffee stinks Yeah, take back what I said earlier, right anything else we need to touch on
Starting point is 00:43:48 Oh, yeah, Cole McCoy retiring and joining the NBC's Big Ten Big Ten This is the Big Ten Network or what is it NBC right Cole McCoy is doing commentary for NBC is that what Garrett is Garrett doing stuff with them or see Gilbert? No chasing Garrett No, not Garrett Gilbert, although It might be an interesting conversation No, Garrett Gilbert's probably just still in the league
Starting point is 00:44:19 There's no no, he's not He's in he's got he's getting some reps in that practice squad. Just just peppering their feet just throwing at him. Oh Yeah, this has been a Monday party pod we apologize for the abbreviated show But we would be remiss if we didn't give you something. Yeah. Yeah, this dude is I I really implore everybody I go watch look at it. It's on the it's on the rubber of the plate. That's a strike. That's bullshit. This guy sucks. This guy's dad should be ashamed of himself.
Starting point is 00:44:52 All right, let's get that in. I wish like Curt Schilling or A.J. Przezinski, somebody, they'd be like, I put one in his ear hole. Unbelievable. Okay. Yeah. We're getting, Wednesday We'll be back to full strength. We'll, we'll be there for that one before he leaves town and look out for merch. Big, big merch, big Thanks for watching guys!
