All right, we're back
It's the circling back podcast
Monday
Can you tell?
Shut off
I mean
My name's Dave

At D. Carter Rough on Twitter
Producing the show
Randall Spinnback
Hey Dave
Hey man, what's up?
No better time to have
Christmas stuff in the store before Dave said
we can't even put up October spooky season Halloween stuff.
Yeah, I don't see how that bolsters your point, but.
My bolster,
bolster point is saying is that Walmart's already putting up Christmas stuff in the stores,
and you're saying it's still too early for Halloween.
Can't both that I'm right?
Can't both be true?
No.
Can it be too early for both?
No.
Both.
Okay.
It's definitely not too early for Halloween stuff.
It's not now, maybe, but two weeks ago it was.
It's bad behavior.
You're bad behavior.
What?
I don't know.
Disagree.
Okay.
Yeah, man.
Sorry, we got combative Randy today.
Magazine hit the button earlier.
Dude, he lost his quarterback for like a couple weeks.
Give him a break.
Also, no one even knows what you're talking about, Dave.
What are you talking about?
No one knows what you just said.
I know.
Oh, you're thinking with the music?
Yeah, that's fine.
That's fine, dude.
Wasn't that big deal.
It didn't kick off producer week or anything.
I was saying, like, people didn't hear what it wasn't wrong.
Good.
Great, Grant.
I just don't know why you're the spooky season guy, but you're not excited for spooky season.
You don't know what I'm excited for.
I'm so excited for spooky season.
I can't stand up right now.
Oh, my hamstring off.
Sorry.
I'm going to miss a couple weeks.
Just when Randy gets back into football.
I mean, yeah, exactly.
This is his quarterback.
I mean, the Bears have given their second string quarterback more than any, more opportunities than any other team.
and like, I think NFL history.
Just look at the past two decades.
They go to their second and third string.
They've been through a lot of quarterbacks.
Yeah.
Not as many as Cleveland.
Cleveland's like,
remember that guy,
he had a,
it's like a Tim Couch jersey
and he kept using a white tape
to like cross out the name
and add another one under it
and it just like,
it filled up the whole jersey
of quarterback names.
Pretty good bit.
That's a good bit.
That's a good bit.
You like the guy who's got the UT jersey
and it's number six.
And the name on it's January.
There is a January on the team, but he's...
Panther Great.
Duncanville Panther Great.
Ouch, January.
That's right.
You can't do number six.
Plus for a D-tackle, it'd be weird.
That would be weird.
That would be weird.
Yeah.
This hat, this here hat I just put on about two minutes ago.
It's a washed.
Dot shop, John.
You can get it at washed.
Is it washedmedia.
Dot shop, Randall?
I believe so, yes.
Washmedia.
You can get this washed hat.
It's a rope hat.
Still got a few in there.
I didn't bring a good hats.
It's a great hat.
Go get you one, halls.
If you get one right now and then you drop your net and you say, hey, Randy, I just
I just got one.
I'll, uh, we'll check and I will give you a, I will give you a shout out on this pod.
That's only for the chat, though.
Wow.
Because that would be, what an honor that's going to be.
Some people like the shout.
Imagine passing up a free shoutty like that.
I guess it's not technically free because you're buying a hat, but you know what I mean?
We will discuss whatever you want within reason.
for exactly 30 seconds.
Wow.
Dylan Shivery.
Speaking on 30 seconds.
I went to Home Depot yesterday.
Of course, Home Depot is,
that's where you get the Jabber and Jack.
Let's get Wicked.
They didn't have any.
I was going to buy one.
I was going to pull out the plastic so fucking fast
and buy one for the squad.
They didn't have one?
No, man, I think you can only get them online right now.
Either they sold out in store or they're
called them or it's just an online thing.
to do a little recall.
That's also a possibility.
I wanted to get wicked for just one
night and I couldn't. We were
also looking for a pot for a plant, but we didn't
get that either. So I didn't go to that just
for that. But man,
it was about to be a situation in here.
Wicked.
Hey, come here, Randy.
I want a little kid.
I don't like that. I don't like that at all.
This gets cozy. I like the bravado
part, the singing part, but not so much
the, yeah, it makes it so creepy.
That makes it worse.
Hey, man, I like the way you look
and them rowback shorts.
Let's get wicked for one night.
Let's get wicked.
Randy, you try it.
Let's get wicked for one night.
That's good.
I like it.
I'm pretty stoked to be here this week, man.
Would people know who didn't listen to Patreon last week?
What that is?
They would.
We talked about the free feed, yeah.
We just did more of it.
the free feed. I don't like the free feed. I don't like making everything about like
monetary investment into audio. Let's call it the public feed. Sure. On the public feed.
The municipal feed. The muni feed. There we got an update on Caleb Williams.
Did you acknowledge what I just said? Yeah. We're going to call it the muny feed. And don't
bitch about it because you were doing Caleb Williams jokes. All right, go ahead.
Bear's quarterback Caleb Williams avoided any major injury. This is from 12 minutes ago.
No way.
avoided any major injury to his hamstring Sunday, test confirmed today,
and the team isn't even ruling him out for next Monday's game against the Eagles.
All right.
That's great news, Ray.
That is.
I don't know why people are getting so mad at him.
It probably hurt.
No one's mad.
No one's mad.
Like people are making fun of him.
His reaction was like, my career is going to be seriously in jeopardy.
Everybody, because, okay, first you see the non-contact.
And the way he went down, even without like the other stuff,
the way he went down, you're like, oh, no.
You're thinking.
He's screaming on.
the field or something. Popped, you know, ACL, MCL.
The, you know, the field side mics picked up some screams from him. It's like, this is serious.
Oh. Mm-hmm.
Like at worst, like, this might be like season, but we hope, we hope this is just the season here.
Or if it's going to be a hamstring, it's like, oh, it's like a full tear. This is, this is, you know, you have to do this with care.
He might be back for week 15. Right. Now, I just day to day.
What? Okay. It's being carded off for me, Randy. He's being caught.
carted off with the towel over your head and then he pulls it off and he does like the
fist pumps in the air like all right we guys we got it we got it come on stay in this one
i watched my quarterback's foot go the other way one time and i feel like he didn't react in such a
manner yeah by the way i fucking he's just bawling dude he deserves better bany i have no hatred
in my heart for the chicago bears at all no no i don't i don't i think people are just giving
i guess we have a whole segment about people are getting shit because he's not as injured
I'm like thinking about that tight end on the bears
that like almost died because of his like hamstring
you don't know in the moment
if it hurts it hurts it hurts well you know it's a hamstring
you know like he knew that his need didn't
go in a different direction which would have been serious
true I know about that happened to me this morning
also watched Alonzo Menningfield
UFC fighter out of Dallas
fight two rounds and get a dub with a compound
fracture in his thumb over the weekend
did you see the video
Oh, you didn't look.
When I, when someone post a clip of MMA, I try not to watch because I don't like to watch.
Okay.
This is a new segment.
It's called Dylan reacts.
I don't, dude, I don't know if I want.
It's not, I won't show you.
He kept fighting with a compound fracture.
We'll find the Anderson Silva leg break.
No, I've seen it.
I've seen it.
I don't want to watch it again.
This is Dylan reacts to gruesome injury.
Isn't that your like normal Twitter feed?
I don't ask for it.
Let's get with.
Wicked for one night.
I'm trying to buy myself a little time.
We make, we buy daddy a little time there, haws?
Buying daddy some time there, hos.
Get wicked for a night.
Bottom one.
Oh, my God.
Dude, he fought, he fought two rounds.
Oh, my.
Two thirds of the fight.
That's, did he win?
Yes, he got a decision, which makes it even better.
He's my dog of the,
the week. That's dog behavior. And he's not, uh, continued to throw punches with that hand.
It's very impressive. Anyway, sorry, Randy. We're sorry. Sorry. I, I sell you to catch up on
South Park and lanterns. Just started out. Good one. Yeah. It's a good one. I'll save what I just
started for my weekend and fun. What's up? Do we interview you? What are you doing? Yeah, dude.
I was talking about the jabber and jet. Hey, Dylan, I want to, I'm going to be critical of you.
then I'm going to, I'm going to tie it together with a, a but four.
Do you want the but for?
I'm going to do a but for.
Give me a butt for Dylan coming in here with his speaker,
putting on the slow, sad Harry Styles song.
And Rainey and I being like, man, that's, okay,
we're not saying it's a bad song, but it's a little bit somber for a vibe for a Monday pod.
And us like, shaming you into changing it.
But for that, we would not have found Sierra Spiro.
Sienna Spiro.
Sienna Spiro.
She's very fun.
Got a good voice.
She'll be at ACL.
I liked what I heard.
Get in now.
So congrats.
She might pop off.
You're welcome.
But for your terrible taste in music originally, we wouldn't have found this new artist, who I know we're, look, we don't, we're, she's probably been around for years.
Although she's only 20?
Not that I locked it off.
Not that I looked it up or anything.
She's good, dude.
You're welcome.
So thank you.
You're welcome, man.
Happy to do it.
Sometimes it pays off.
This thing is paying dividends already.
He just put on pop mix.
I hit play on pop mix, yeah.
But I did it.
Someone had to do it.
This is the exact reason why I had to like get on Brett's ass to stop playing sleepy jazz music in the office.
I'm like, dude, I'm trying to work.
Like, I need not feel like I'm about to go kill myself in the cottage.
Jesus
In a cottage?
Yeah
Is that where you would do it?
That is a good place to do it.
I mean he keeps all the lights off
and then he plays the sleepy jazz
and then it's just like all right
Ooh
I don't
I just need something
You were about you started to set
You're about to hit it
Sienna Spiro's at ACL
I might go
I might not go at all
Because I'm 42
And it's a lot of
It's a big ask for me
That sucks
She's Friday
Yeah, I guess
I don't know, man
I'll be there
Oh, awesome
That must be nice
You got Pice, dog
I guess I missed
Where he took that day off
Fracian
Right, I haven't
Sounds like
Somebody's trying to get wicked
For an entire day
Oh damn
What else?
What's the Patreon?
Well, it's fan week
That's what it is
Sorry, dad
He's checking his hair
Taking a pat off
Fan week y'all
Fan week y'all
Tomorrow's fan week
Right, Randall?
Yes
I need more
straight up.
I've gotten a good, a lot of good.
I need more.
I need you to hit the Haasline.
877-352-4-6-7.
Leave me your fan stories.
Good fandom, bad fandom,
fights in the stands.
Maybe you got Wicked for One Night in the stands.
There's a lot of things you could talk about.
Or email me, Dave at washtmedia.com.
Fan week tomorrow on Patreon.
What I've got is really good.
I think tomorrow's going to be great.
And we're also going to drop listener voicemails as well.
How about that?
Oh, I don't even think we need to just be like professional or, you know, college.
If you have a good story from high school of like, you know, the fans getting in a fight or something.
I don't care if it's your JV game you went and watched or something.
I don't care.
I don't care if you're watching your son's peewee football game.
You got an all-out brawl with the other team's parents.
If that happened, I want to hear about it.
Yeah.
But don't do that also.
Yeah, it's pee-wee football.
There could be some good Little League stories from the parents' side.
I got some little league content for you coming up.
And I guess, I guess, I guess I'll announce it next Tuesday, do you know it?
Oh, let's do you know it for one episode.
Two, three, four, do you know it?
Or do you show it?
Randy, I'm so excited, dude.
Hey, can we do a, I'll talk, never mind, I'll talk to swag money about it.
I will see who's on.
I think it's you two and Brett will be competing.
As far as who's in the producer chair,
either be will or swag money,
but I feel like it might be swag money.
Let's do a sizzle reel and post it.
A sizzle reel.
A sizzle reel to announce, yeah, that it's back, baby.
Wow.
I'm trying to sizzle.
Let's only give New Brett, like, direction
and, like, things he needs tasks, really.
Let's only do it through the live pod of which he is,
watching. Hey, Swag Money, we're going to do a sizzle reel to announce, do you know it is back.
Hey, dude, find a way. I'm horny for that, Randy.
Mm-hmm. So I'll be working on that this afternoon and Friday afternoon, probably.
Well, that's the best news I heard all day. That's some good news there, House finally.
We finally got some good news there, Hals. It's my favorite show. I'm sorry? I like to play along with the boys.
That's only on Patreon.
Mm-hmm. Next Tuesday.
Next Tuesday. So we'll see you next Tuesday.
That, Dylan, he doesn't know much about the music.
Yeah, this voice is really, it's, you've got a different direction with it.
I try, man. I'm trying.
I think they're too critical of Brett.
He's just a good guy that's just trying to answer the questions, the best of his abilities.
Okay.
And Dave, he sure looks handsome on camera.
He must, I love what he's doing with his hair.
It's noticeably thicker.
It's noticeably thicker.
I actually like when Will's in the producer chat, he's quite the funny guy.
I think he complains too much when he's one of the contestants.
Oh.
Sounds like a real opinion's coming through there.
That's not me.
That's awesome comments.
Right, right.
Best Will is when Will is like, he knows he's out of it and he just gives up and he just says, fuck it.
That's the best version of Will on that show.
He starts slamming the boards.
He just is like, all right, wow.
It's fun.
It's fun just being a baby.
after Randy, like, takes a point away from you for, or gives random points out for, like, half answers,
goes against his own rules.
Not that he ever does that, but maybe.
There's no real system there.
I think it's just fun.
That's silly.
It's entirely subjective.
Yeah.
YouTube.com slash circling back is where you can watch it live or you can just watch it after the fact there too.
You can comment.
Hey, is anybody about a hat yet?
Oh.
I'll just fuck myself.
Check out Spotify as well.
You can't watch it live, but you can't watch it thereafter.
I like watching it there.
after i'm a spotify guy although i doubt i jump back and forth he jumps i like and if you want to watch
them on both at the same time that would really help yeah it's what fuck yeah do it where's chelsea
consuming is she youtube yeah because she's in the chat she'll pop in the chat but then she'll listen
on her own time on spotify how is she like the banter lately she says the boys are in their bags
collectively well we know you've got a bag what all right
Let's talk about our good friend.
Oh, you know what?
Let's just recap this weekend and fun presented by our good friends.
Rollback.
I love the rollback.
I love the rollback.
I've got every game day.
It's the moisture wicking for me.
That's what I love most.
I bought my grandson, one of the moisture wicking game days.
Yeah.
Yeah.
From Rikis.
From Rikas.
Oh, my God.
He looks so handsome in it.
He buttons it all the way up.
He looks like a little skater boy.
All right.
Do the fucking song.
It's hard money, Micah.
It's time for this weekend.
Bro, let's go out this weekend.
There's a crazy event happening.
I like to turn up.
Bro, there's a crazy event happening.
We had the party and it was lit.
I got yelled out by a prostitute.
Let's just go have fun and they go with it.
Little more trials, let's go.
I'm getting gloopy.
This weekend of fun presented by Roebuck, man.
I mean, look, enough said.
That's just a classic.
That's a classic.
That's a staple.
Let's wear Roback.
for just one night.
I sucked.
I'm sorry.
You're not going to imagine what I'm wearing right now.
I'm wearing their boxers.
Hell yeah.
Usually I would ask to prove that,
but I don't know if we need to see that.
Little sea turtles.
I've been wearing a Texas game day
row back polo for every game so far,
and I'm going to keep wearing it.
I haven't washed it yet either.
Three and O.
I'm going to keep wearing it without washing it
until there's an L.
So hopefully I don't wash it all season long.
Oh my God.
Honey, you're going to perspire.
I got parks of a game day polo also.
Oh, so we got that second rowback package.
And Rodi officially, my son Rhodes, he's five and a half, almost six.
He got the light gray hoodie.
Goes home, taught out, just puts it on, puts the hood on, like Ross Bowling at Workstyle.
He just walked.
He just hung out all day, Saturday with that hood on.
Dude, that's, that's Gen Z behavior.
You need to tell him to tone it down.
He loves it.
Man, they got everything.
They have polo for anything, but really any occasion you want.
Any occasion.
on the all active short which i love uh coming up with a liner or no liner they're so comfortable
they're great and my favorite workout short or just wear them really wherever they got hoodies
qzsies they got vests jackets just go look lutes 20 lute es two zero lutes 20 it is a one time
use promo code so don't just buy one thing and then the code's burnt you got to you know
get your money's worth load the car load that card up boss
All right, before we're jumping in the weekend, anybody bought a hat yet?
No.
Scumbags.
Let's buy one hat for the boys.
I guess I'll just throw this in my fireplace.
Can I start?
Dylan, why you go ahead, bud?
You're champing at the bit.
Hey, a fun birthday party that I went to on Friday.
Chelsea and I first got a dinner off at Carpenter Hall.
Oh, we got a steak.
Oh.
Yeah.
How was it served?
Well, it's a dry age wag you.
This is not your grandma's stage.
Well, that sets you back.
It was more than we thought.
What was the damage?
It was more than we thought.
The price wasn't on the menu?
Was it market?
Well, there was a price on the menu, but then the bill came, and it was about twice what we thought it would be.
We're not sure what happened.
That seems like a problem.
We're not sure what happened.
There was a mix up with the ordering.
It was also like the special, but they had a minimum.
menu item with the steak. I thought we were ordering anyway. It doesn't matter. It was fantastic.
Did you get mad? No. No, it was probably on us for not not.
But for real, how was the state? Was it like a pre-slice? It was sliced. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It had this, uh, this butter on top. Oh, it's like herbs and stuff mixed it. It was like an herb
butter. Woo! Wee! It was so good. Anyway, then we went to a, uh, a birthday party for Emily.
Can I ask a question about Che-Chi? Sure. What's like, what's like, what's,
what's her craving currently if she has one um she's kind of all over the place man i'm not going
in on one thing i feel like elissa was like wanting steak like often back in the day chelsea will
fuck up a steak okay she will hell yeah yeah all right then we went to a uh at the cedar tavern
which is the back bar at everly we went to a birthday party there for emily who is uh will's sister-in-law
fantastic time big game brett merriman was there uh hot collins spent a lot of time a lot of time a lot of
time talking to hot calling what's he doing good looking crowd he's he's he's vibing yeah dude he's just
he's he's cool as ever man great great party thank you emily fantastic party happy birthday was a drink of
choice man i had a uh i had a sparkling rosé to start ooh and then i hit him with a dirty vodka
martini and that was it we only there for like an hour and a damn you really went skirk i did
Yeah, I kind of busted a bitch on them.
Yeah, you really did.
They thought you were going one way.
You went the other.
We took a slice of cake home.
Chelsea, you know, Chelsea wanted it.
What does that mean?
She's pregnant and she wanted cake.
And I was like, what's good cake girl?
You refused to try it?
I had a bite.
It was good.
We took a slice of cake home.
Fantastic time.
Thank you for that.
And then Saturday parks at baseball practice in the morning,
matching the ball.
And then Grandpa David, my dad came over for,
he watched some football.
with us.
Dude.
Was he bummed about his Aggies?
Yeah, he's bummed about
UT San Antonio also
who lost to Texas.
He was bummed.
He came in complaining about the Aggies.
Because he left when the game
was concluding.
And my dad walks in and
Park says, you know, A&M's coming back
and they scored late.
I think that's what he was referring to.
And my dad was like,
they came back?
Turned on.
And he goes, oh, no, they lost.
So it was kind of funny.
Anyway.
watch some ball together cook broths oh beer brats it was very good and then sunday parks had his first game of the season
first at bat off of one of the better pitchers in the league just absolute piss missile line drive to right center field
beautiful swing the kid is uh he had a batting lesson hitting lesson last week it's already paying off man
so we're going to keep doing that probably all season long is it overkill if i bring my soon to be six
year old to get some get a batting like hitting lesson not that he really needs it but i'm just like
dude you want to start the good habits early i kind of want to see what it looks like yeah start the good
habits early no that's over nothing wrong with it i maybe maybe we'll come and just hang out and
maybe he can just like kind of like soak it in they did take the l unfortunately that's all right yeah
but it's got you know the first one what position is he playing these days he's bouncing around he's
spending most time at second base though oh uh that was my favorite to play yeah love second base and then
that's pretty much it man
just watch some NFL football
yesterday and that's that's it
good little weekend
uh hey there little buddy
what are you doing over there
well i was i was thinking because carpenter hall
is the famous place of the burger that dylan's always
talking about and uh
need to mention i think my backer of the week that brought up
on reddit that he
actually tried pulling a dylan
uh and he has some
he has some thoughts and i
wanted to ask dylan about these because
people are bringing up some good points that we hadn't actually thought about before.
He said that one of the underrated things is that you don't mention how it's weird that the
toppings are touching the top of your mouth.
Does that ever feel weird to you?
No.
It's not weird at all.
And then someone else...
He's used to it.
It's not weird at all. It's never even crossed my mind.
Someone else pointed off, why don't you take the bottom bun off so only your thumbs are
getting dirty?
You get two thumbs dirty instead of all your other eight fingers.
Because it feels like you need a foundation on which to lay all of the...
stuff. It just feels
I don't know. To me
that just makes more sense. I don't have a problem with
the other one, but to me that makes more sense.
The one's got a lot of thumb issues anyway.
I do. I brought a thumb brace to work.
I saw that and I didn't even like
I was like, I'm not going to comment. Just waiting for you guys
to make fun of me. No, we'll wait until you
have it on. I'm going to put it on out to this.
I did not know about this. My weekend.
Friday?
What do I do?
Friday. Went to the revolving sushi bar.
there was some clinkers going around serving
waters and pops and whatnot
so people are talking about a possible health code violation
do you putting your phone on the conveyor belt
that brings the uncovered
it wasn't on it I held it above it
people were wondering I held it above it
and it got really close
I thought I was going to the phone
we had I think one of the worst seats
so it's kind of hard like we were at the very
end of the conveyor belt so like the whole gimmick
of like just having stuff
come out and do it was like
See, the time I went, I just ordered what I wanted.
I didn't get any of the random stuff.
I mean, that's what I did pretty much do.
Majority of stuff, we just order off the screen.
It's like, well, then how is this ain't different than any other sushi place?
It comes out on a conveyor belt.
Yeah.
And you don't have to interact with humans.
Yeah, that's true.
So it was fine.
I don't know.
Enjoyable.
Saturday, big pool day.
Which is great.
After watching the Bears game and seeing it was like in the 60s and rainy, I'm like,
yeah, no.
I love being in, you know, September.
And be able to just spend multiple times.
Multiple times of the pool in the fall.
And then Sunday.
Oh, we got Pizza Hut original pan pizza.
Of course, I'll say that really quick because people hate it.
That one didn't look aesthetically.
It wasn't, I'll be honest, that wasn't a good one.
I think, honestly, I'm hoping that it was just an off day, but
Young Brand sold it to private equity.
Yeah.
So Pizza Hut's not.
got a hold of it now they're like mm so i mean you gotta make this shittier so we can make more money
honestly yeah so i'll be monitoring the situation but very very good possibility that pizza hut
just goes away of you know panera and jersey in jersey mics might go this way but private equity just
kills fast food chains wow fucking sheesh democratic socialist randy over here you're kind of the aOC
of wash no private equity ever gets like a restaurant and says
All right, let's make it better.
Better ingredients, better pizza, Papa John's.
Yeah, they cook costs.
I did notice something.
Can I jump in real quick?
Speaking of making a product better, Burger King's going through one of my favorite stages of Blue Blood restaurant,
Blue Blood Fast Food, when they're like doing the whole rebrand and they're like, hey, look, we acknowledge our food has been really shitty for a long time.
It sucks.
our food sucks and we're going to do something about that you know because they're doing their
their whole campaign now is like we we brought up you know uh it's like what dominoes did a couple
years ago yeah dominoes did it that was my favorite but this one burger king their nuggets are
historically bad wendies did it with and the fries fries yeah wendy's another PE victim um but yeah
so burger king's just doing like the yeah we let uh like eight kids try our nuggets and they all said
your nuggets are trash.
And I'm like,
we're going to make them better now.
And it's like,
you know what,
thanks.
Still not going to probably go out of my way
to get Burger King,
but like,
it is funny just to fall on the sword
and be like,
all right,
hand up.
Oh shit.
Our shit sucks.
Yeah.
The last regime,
the old CEO,
that they weren't good.
But now I'm here and we're going to,
we're going to do better.
It's like it's easy to make a good nugget.
Oh,
you do?
Okay.
Like,
how do you have a bad nugget for decades?
I don't know how long they've had nuggets.
But I don't know,
Why don't you just open a fast food restaurant?
If I did, call it munchers.
If I did, I promise you my nuggets would be above above average.
Call a real eater.
Okay.
The real eatery.
I'll be honest with you, I love Pete Terry's.
They're nuggets, at least the first time I tried them, we're not good.
No, they're not great.
Yeah.
They do a great burger, though.
Okay, I interrupted.
Go ahead.
Saturday night, we just drink some wine and played some video games together.
Me and Megan, that was great.
Sunday spent way too much time on the Bears game.
Just love watching a full game with zero touchdowns.
Very fun.
And then, uh, yeah, Sunday night just chilled, started a new show.
Ready for this?
Widows Bay.
Oh, after one like 15 Emmys, it was like, all right, might as well go watch it.
And also it's pretty good for spooky season. So we'll be continuing on with
Widows Bay.
Let's get spooky for one month. We could do that.
I think that's the plan.
Yeah, yeah.
I got to stop.
People are going to tune out if I continue to do that.
I'm sorry.
I guess I worked on a project for a second, too.
Check out at Randy Trebaki.
Did you talk about your project that you did?
Oh, the Uno gift?
Yeah.
I mean, I just posted it there.
Yeah.
If you go to at Randy Trebaki on Instagram, you'll see my most recent post was a gift I gave to my ex,
ex-roommate and his wife for their, there was a wedding gift.
I made a little collage of Uno Car.
Cut up Uno cards of a picture from their wedding day because they love playing Uno when we live together.
They were always playing Uno.
So it was a nice thing.
But I worked out another project this weekend, but very quick one, little dungeon dragons dice thing.
I'll put it up on the story.
I don't think it's worth a full post.
But be following me to see what it looks like.
It's not worth a full post.
It's not worth a full post.
But follow me, man.
Give me a shot.
Oh, man.
Well, big, big weekend in the rough household anniversary weekend.
Friday night
Watch a little football
Watch a little tech Houston more on that in a few
That was kind of my big night
I'm like I'm gonna watch this game
And you know what it delivered
It was a good football game
I know no serious program plays on Friday night
But it was fun football
I have another addition to my unserious program
Put it in the ball thing
Unless you want to throw it in now
Alternate uniforms
okay okay and i believe tech crossed or checked both those boxes i didn't care for what they were
doing i did not care for what they were doing yeah um but whatever
saturday got up i wouldn't hit some balls i wouldn't hit some uh some golf balls that was uh
my gift also said you go for 90 minutes and hit some golf balls chips i'm a talent i'm
I'm going to just throw this out there unsolicited.
If you are somebody who's struggling with your chipping and you're looking to just,
if you're willing to devote like, oh, two, three times a month going out and just chipping,
you know, 30, 40 balls or just going on the backyard, go follow Joe Mayo on Instagram.
I don't care how ridiculous Joe Mayo is.
You got to go.
I've adopted the Joe Mayo method.
And I'm chipping the ball.
I have more confidence now chipping the ball that I've had since high school.
And I was a good chipper of the ball in high school, not to not to, not to,
pat myself on the back but he was always a really good chipper oh he loved opening the face up
and flopping it he was just flopped real vertical for impact oh my god yeah great uncle your great
uncle used to flop it what did he was a total stick okay good player in his own right
anyway back to my anniversary right uh yeah we uh man we went to dinner we went to driscoll
We've talked about the Driscoll on this show many times.
Haunted.
Haunted by the ghost of a child that allegedly fell down some stairs some years ago, many, many years ago.
It's an awesome hotel.
They did the deal where they took what was really awesome, the bar, and they said, I was worried about this when they announced it.
And they said, we're going to change the bar.
The bar is going to be a steakhouse now.
I was like, man, why mess of the bar?
It's one of the coolest bars in town.
They didn't take away any of the kids.
character of the bar.
Good.
Have you been?
I don't know.
So it's now you walk in and it's like the old bar, but you walk a little bit further back
and it's restaurant.
But it has the same ambiance, lighting, decor, vibes, which is very important.
They got an oyster bar, Dylan.
Love that.
We both got filet.
I'm very critical of when I go to a restaurant and I pay restaurant prices for a piece of beef
that I could have done at home, I can be critical because it'll make me mad because
like, man, I could have done this just as good.
No, this was one of the best fillets I've had at a restaurant in Austin in a year or two.
It was noticeably great.
Really good spot.
Our poor waitress, the kid, there was a lot of Texas people, but before the game that we're eating there.
And there's a little kid who ordered some kind of dessert that had to be lit on fire.
Okay.
And she got the lighter and she, I don't know what happened, but it like burned her hand and she like had to like toss it.
And she disappeared and she came back out with the hand wrap and I felt really bad.
We're like, you're a dog for fighting through this.
Yeah, so she got burned.
Like kind of set her hand on fire for a sec.
It reminds me of the Chicago Bears quarterback.
What about him?
Dude, he's going to be back on Monday maybe after dealing with a brutal hamström.
string pool.
I mean, all of X, the Everything app, thought that, oh, my God, this is great.
Another quarterback season lost due to an injury.
And it looks like he might have just lost about three quarters of a game.
Which I hope is the case.
I hope that's the case.
I don't want Randy coming in here every money being like, oh, I just football.
Stupid.
Randy.
I'm a sports ball guy for anything that's right now.
Oh, don't let the Reddit hear that one, Dave.
I'm the sports.
I don't know. I told you this, I don't even know what that mean.
Last night, yesterday we had, we had T-ball.
We had T-ball practice Friday at 5, which is fine.
It's just fucking Friday of 5 is brutal.
It's a brutal time.
You're signing up for a shower, a Friday night shower, which I'm not looking to do.
Park's game yesterday started at 3.15.
And it's no. Not good.
It was overlaps with them boys.
Oh, my God.
We had a game yesterday, our second of the season.
two and oh
Rhodes is continuing to make great strides in the field
and at the plate
hitting's always there but
I mean he's just getting the ball and just
he had a great play from second
I'm gonna I'm gonna just gas him up real quick
ground ball hard ground ball
he didn't really have to move gets it in his glove
his first instinct is to throw it to first
just a light toss the kid
younger kid new kid on the team wasn't covered
in. Rhodes-like brings it back. And a lot of kids would just freak out and just throw it over there.
Realizes no, runs over and just steps on the base out. And I was like, that's just a heads-up play, man.
He's learning ball, man.
And so, yeah. And I'm like, I'm also happy because a lot of kids you see in T-ball, again, I'm talking about T-ball.
There's the better players, older players, well, a lot of times not even look to throw it. They know they can just run over and step on the base.
You know, it's great to get out. It's cool. But like, you want to say.
see the kids learn to make the throw. So I'm happy that his first thought was to make the
throw. Just even though had he made that throw, there's a real good chance that ball is going
back to the fence because they're not catching the ball very often in a T-ball. But took the dub.
I love to hear that, man. He also had a nice extra base hit up the middle, just a double. Probably
could have sent him to third. But we didn't. There's no point we were up big. But it was just
It was fun, man.
It was great.
Go for Rodi.
Got home,
just watched some freaking football, dude.
Watch them boys.
You know,
complaining to myself
in my group chats
about some things about them boys,
but all on all.
And then last night,
lanterns into lion ass.
We won't talk lanterns.
Randy hasn't watched it.
I'm assuming you haven't.
Oh,
the season finale was last week, right?
No.
No, there's three more episodes.
You got a lantern.
did not know that.
It was just a very finale feeling.
It did, didn't it?
But you got,
Oh,
I got some.
I got some.
We got to figure out what happened to our,
who got Hal?
Did anybody get Hal?
What's going on?
Okay.
How did Lanter?
Lioness.
For all the shit I'd give Taylor Sheridan,
incredible finale.
It,
one of the better seasons of TV I've watched in the last year.
It has been,
it was fun.
So I got to give credit where it's due.
And that's that.
Okay, okay.
This episode is sponsored by Better Help.
Dylan, you ever think about if there's something you can be better at, what would it be?
Just one thing.
Yeah.
Not thinking about what could go wrong in my life and just taking things as they come and dealing with them.
Taking them as they come.
That's my big one.
Yeah.
I co-sign that.
You know, I'm thinking like living in the moment as well.
Being present.
I think that's a big one.
Maybe just being, uh,
being a little bit more vulnerable, you know?
Sure.
Well, the thing is, better is a feeling defined by you.
And for better help, it's a better help therapist who really gets you.
It's a focus on global emotional well-being with thousands of therapists and millions of members in over 100 countries.
It's progress.
You know, maybe there's like a cool birthday that you didn't get invited to or something.
You know, just don't let it get to you.
Just be good with it.
Just be like, you know, move on.
Yes.
Better help can help you.
It's getting better.
Like I said, I'm trying to put down my phone.
stay offline a little bit more.
I don't need to see what everybody is saying
during the Cowboy game on Twitter.
I don't need that.
No, you don't need that.
I don't need to see what the crew chat's doing
during the Cowboy game.
I'm going to leave that phone back there over the charger.

Do you want to do ball?
Let's do ball.
Let's go right into ball.
You want to save this.
We'll do this other one for tomorrow.
We're cruising.
We'll talk football for just one seg.
I'm sorry.
I walked around my house doing that all weekend.
So did I.
Parks is over.
How do you explain to your wife on your anniversary and your mother-in-law who's in your home?
It's actually a song from a TikTok for a Halloween declaration.
that may or may not be real.
We don't really know.
I think it is real, but it's a whole thing.
It's weird.
It's tough, yeah.
All right, Dylan.
We had some fun games over the weekend.
Let me get this one out of the way.
Oregon beat Portland State 84 to nothing in a get-right game against an FCS opponent, which is like...
Tough.
Tough draw coming off the loss, fear.
They're scoring with like under a minute to go in the game.
know why just to think they set they set a record if their largest uh margin of victory ever anyway
we don't need to spend any time on that that's not an important game uh kentucky at a and m got
to talk about this one oh no a and m took that took the l at home to the kentucky wildcats
what did we say about kentucky last week they are they are like they are enough to like
they are a never take this team lightly yeah otherwise unthreatening program where are the
only people to acknowledge that yeah man i uh i feel bad for marcel reed i think he gets a lot of
shit from a lot of people including his own fan base he seems like a great kid they're trying to turn
him into a pocket passer and i don't know why they're doing that if you look at the games where
he's really gone off throughout his career it's when he is able to use his legs much more he's just
he's not a pocket passer guy he's just not there was a play of a fourth out like fourth and two i want to say
kind of late in the game where they they he spun out wide and he had a guy in the flats a running back who kind of scored it out there wide open for what would have been an extremely crucial fourth down conversion and he just threw it at his shoelaces man it was bad i i feel bad for the kid he's struggling he's got he's got the yips a bit it it seems but a and m is not it's not a serious program this year you got one you got one game you got to win it must win game
Marcel Reed or John Mature
I'm putting you in the hot
Marcel Reed
Okay
Yeah
I'm taking Marcel Reed over John Mature
All day long every day
He can put some throws together
We've seen him do it
They can still salvage this
I mean it's a lot
It's a SEC law
Kentucky's not like a joke of a team at all
Watched
I watched a lot of Kentucky
Against Alabama two weeks ago
And that score was not indicative
Of the first half
Kentucky
Reaked havoc against Alabama
Alabama that first half, pick sixes, fumble, recovery, all that.
They play hard as hell.
Yeah.
So, like, that is a team that they should not have taken lightly.
It's a tough opponent.
So I just feel bad for them.
I don't know.
You mentioned John Mateer.
I did.
Oh, you hosted the New Mexico Lobos.
Hell yeah.
Which I believe is Spanish for a wolf, which is not important.
No, but that's cool that you know that.
Yeah.
And OU's offense is terrible.
I mean, they're just terrible.
There's a funny quote from John Mateer,
unintentionally funny quote from John Mater after the game.
They were up seven or sorry,
they're up eight for much of that game.
And then they had Isaiah Cetania,
who's a really good receiver.
He was streaking wide open for a touchdown over the top,
late in the game.
And Matier, after the game,
the post-game presser,
He says he didn't see him until he heard the crowd screaming.
I guess they noticed that this guy was wide open and then they started to react to it.
And he could hear everyone screaming about it.
So he looks up and sees this guy and hits him for a touchdown over the top, which is just funny.
Like he didn't see him on his own.
Anyway, John Mater, he's struggling, man.
That often stinks.
I know he had you screaming.
The O line is soft.
He stinks.
They have a really tough schedule.
They have going to Athens.
this week. That's going to be an ugly one, I think.
They're just not good, man.
Although Georgia, as good as they've looked, they haven't played anybody.
The toughest opponent last weekend was Arkansas,
who I think we all know is not a good team.
But I still expect Georgia to take care of business there pretty easily against LU.
I was talking to an Arkansas fan at T-ball,
and it was just like,
they're just like the, like, just laugh at the laughing dejection.
Someone,
someone posted a video of their tailgating scene like an hour before kickoff did you see that yeah did
and there's like almost nobody shows up i was tracking big content guy because i believe he's an
arkansas guy you got a top five team in town and you can't you can't show up to tailgate yeah that's
tough before we talk ls u.su o mess just real quick on texas they did win 30 to six against uh uts san antonio
The defense looks really, really good.
The offense looks equally bad.
I mean, they were legitimately terrible.
It was weird, a weird game.
I only caught the second half.
They had incredible field position the entire game
and just did pretty much close to nothing to it
or nothing with it.
I caught the second half and I texted
because I was like, where's Colin Simmons?
And I saw like, oh, he took him out
a little, maybe a turf toe thing in the first half.
I was also a little buzzed.
You didn't ask me what I had to drink Saturday,
but I was kind of on your way of martini, vodka martini, dirty.
Did go with a glass of wine, walked across street to the Stephen of Austin, which is where we stayed.
Good spot.
Well, night we got married, and I had rosé.
We were like the only people in that bar.
So I did.
Same, same, dog.
I closed it down with some rosé.
So I just wanted to put that out there.
But yeah, I got home and I was like, oh, hey, it was like 20 to sit.
I don't know.
It was like, UTS.
say it was closer than I thought, because I thought Texas was just going to drum them.
They had, I mean, Cam Coleman had two touchdowns, but other than that, they had like
pretty much nothing going in the passing game. It was just bizarre.
Yeah.
Bizarre game.
Arch did get absolutely rocked in the third quarter.
It was a helmet-to-helmet hit, and his helmet flew off, and he got, from then on out,
I don't know if that affected him, but he was abysmal for much of the second half.
You really don't want your franchise quarterback taking him.
and those kind of hits against, no offense, UTSA.
No, he wasn't sliding.
Yeah.
He had a couple of runs like that where he wasn't sliding,
I hit pretty good.
Might have been pressing a little bit.
And then we have the game that had everyone's attention,
which was LSU Ole Miss in Oxford.
Lane Kiffin returns,
whole storyline, we've been over that a bunch of times.
Trinidad Jambliss is probably the best quarterback in the country.
I think he is
The dude throws a beautiful ball
He puts it where it needs to be
He's a gamer
I love this kid
He is so damn good
Yeah he that was awesome
Every time you really start to love him
You tweet like go over your four
You tab in some movie like
Oh yeah man
Definitely I would want him
Except for the fact that he's like
510 and 25 years old
Yeah
I'm like all right
Just fucking look
Can we just enjoy
Enjoy what he's doing
Dude he's so good
He and Camario Taylor are really fun to watch.
Very different style.
Not totally different style, but Camaro Taylor is,
he has probably the most NFL ready arm in the country right now.
That's probably your high.
Those are two of your Heisman hopefuls right now.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
They're both top five Heisman guys at the moment.
They're a lot of fun to watch.
But this was a fun game,
especially if you're an Ole Miss fan.
They got out to a big lead.
LSU did climb back,
but then I couldn't hang on at the end.
And man, what a time to,
What a time to be an Ole Miss Rebel.
That's got to feel so damn good.
Yeah.
That's a fun, fun, fun atmosphere.
Nothing really weird went down.
You're kind of watching it thinking like,
ah, well, someone's going to throw like a Molotov cocktail or something,
hopefully not.
Ole Miss players did have some taunting mixed in here and there.
Yeah, you knew there's going to be some light taunting.
And then after the game, you know, midfield handshake,
Kiffin's making his way back to the locker room.
There were some flybys from some Ole Miss players who were kind of jawing out of them a bit.
Yeah.
All fair game.
It wasn't like the old Baylor TCU when they, Gary Patterson, Baylor players would like go get in Gary Patterson's face back in the day.
That was intense.
But yeah, I mean, it was kind of perfect.
And it's just a shame that, you know, college football is dead and it has to be protected and safe.
Yeah.
Because, you know, that game would have been, I would have enjoyed it more had college football been protected more.
College football is so much fun.
Even on a week, like just having fun.
A weekend where the, you know, we had this game, which is a big time matchup.
But otherwise, not an exciting slate of games.
There are still so many fun storylines that come out of every single weekend.
College football is simply the best, man.
Randy.
That's all I got.
Sportsball.
Can you do me the honors?
That's what people want to hear, huh, Dave?
I also have a question.
The announcers were giving like L.S.
use defense like all the props the last two plays but the quarterback through like threw
it through behind the guy and then threw it right into another guy's helmet i was like it seemed
like he fucked up more than the defense was good yeah hard to say sorry i don't recall the plays
sim levin's last two plays is just good he's good he's just good he's good he's not he's not above
good right now lsu's still going to be a problem later in the season oh yeah for sure them coming back
I was pulling for Ole Miss, but I was excited that when we got home, I was like,
okay, I've got a game to watch.
This is great.
So we'll see.
Did this, did this, did this elevate Ole Miss?
I was going to say, the JFFB-3?
Are they coming into town this weekend?
Who?
No, no, Texas goes to Knoxville this weekend.
They don't play Ole Miss for a little bit.
I got to get ready for that.
We're going to have Taylor on, Taylor McCargg.
We have a great slate this weekend.
I don't know much about Tennessee at the moment.
I got to get up on that.
Really good O-line, really good running game.
A true freshman quarterback who's finding his way.
Okay.
Those are the three things you need to know.
All right, Dave.
You ready?
You know, I'd like to just say, it's time for the JFFB3.
Oh, my God.
And, Dylan, this is going to be pretty controversial.
There's going to be a lot of unhappy fans out there.
This is the official music, huh?
It's the JFF Big Three, just for fun, Big Three.
You probably knew that by now.
Mississippi State kicking off.
They have officially jumped.
They are now your number one team in the JFFB3
for all the reasons you outline Camaro Taylor.
If you haven't watched this guy play yet,
it is fun.
He jumps off the tape, man.
He's unreal.
Yeah.
He just with a flick of the wrist,
he'll spin it 40 yards downfield.
Big time come.
back against the Cox and much needed.
Randy, did you peep that game?
I did not see the Cox comeback game now.
Okay, well, the Cox is the one who gave up the comeback.
Oh, really?
South Carolina.
Yeah, hot seat over there, by the way.
Fun game, Mississippi State.
Like, you were kind of like you knew as a matter of time before they're going to take that top spot.
What does that mean for Utah?
What does that mean for Devin Dampier?
What does that mean?
That I've been asking myself.
They're the number two, too, too.
All morning.
Oh, are they?
I think they just demolished, like, Idaho State.
Okay.
Not their fault.
Oh, excuse me, it was Idaho.
6614, they're still incredibly fun.
Their offense is pretty unique.
Got open up conference play on the road going to Iowa State.
Actually, I'm just saying.
Okay.
Just saying.
So we got Mississippi State.
We got Utah.
Number three.
Number three.
With all due respect to what's going on in Stillwater, you're out of the JFFB3.
Oh, shit.
Doesn't mean you can't jump back in.
And, man, you know I had to do it to them.
You know those bobcats are in the JFFB3.
Uh-huh.
You know Texas State, finally getting off the snide.
Yeah.
Taking down UNT.
Can't start O and 3.
Can't stop Owen, can't start O and 3.
No.
Coming off a horrible loss to UTSA at home, your rival.
$605 yards, a total offense.
This game was like, if you were sitting home watching Saturday afternoon and you didn't have a game,
this was probably the most fun game to watch because it was just up and down.
It was just big play after big play.
T-States found something with their five listed at 5-8 running back, but probably like 5-7, 200 pounds.
Torrance Burgess Jr., 214 yards.
Incredible vision on this guy.
it is a classic like D-line linebackers lose track of them because they can't see where like
where the fuck is he kicks it outside and he's gone incredibly fun watch uh davion jackson four
touchdowns i say all this with one caveat and this is something to watch on the jffb3 going
forward um it's a fun decks right obviously part of that means you have to have a great atmosphere
Texas State, I'm looking at you.
It's a home game.
I know it's hot outside.
You got to get more than whatever that was to show up for your game.
I know the tailgating situation there's changed and it's a little bit difficult.
You got to fill that thing out.
It's still a U.N.
It's an in-state rival.
It's U.N.T.
You couldn't even fill it up for UTSA, which is like your legit rival.
You're a Pact 12 team.
The Pact 12 is back.
If you're going to continue to play Pac-12 big boy football,
like I know you are and I know you can,
we got to get some asses in the seats, okay?
And this is going to take me driving down there to go to a game
and spending the entire weekend in San Marcos
and going to the bars and eating in all the restaurants I used to go to,
then so be it.
Then I'll have to do it.
My wired take here, you know, tired wired.
My wired take here is think about those environments
when we went to school there and how they compare it to today.
Like, this come a long way and they deserve credit for that.
You're right, but,
I all, when we were, my senior year, we were still D1A, we were filling, like, not filling it out,
but like, the student section was completely full.
We were chanting fuck Cal Poly.
Well, that was the Barak Neely show.
That was the Barak Neely show.
Granted, we had a player to rally behind, but like, guys, you have a good fun team, a better fun team.
We'll see.
They're obviously top three in my fund decks.
So like, get out there and support the Bobcats, please.
I was very critical of them after they were lost to UTS.
but like, I'm going to give them some credit.
They found some things.
They're making the offense simple.
Run the damn ball is something you always say.
Yeah.
So there you go.
Honorable mention to Alabama.
Keel and Russell seemingly finding his way down there.
So yeah, my official JFF, Big Three, Mississippi State, Utah, Texas State.
Okay.
That's fun.
Wow.
Just for fun.
Thanks, Randy.
You're welcome.
We got to talk
We're going to talk about our good friends
at poncho outdoors
So I have a poncho t-shirt on
Guess who else does?
Swag money.
Swag money's got one.
He says it's the best fitting shirt
that he owns.
That's what he told me this morning.
The t-shirts are great
But the performance shirts are made
for guys who actually go outside.
If you saw me at the T-ball fields
over the weekend,
you probably saw,
you did see a guy wearing a poncho.
It was me.
It's my shirt for all seasons.
Best shirt I've ever worn.
Yes, for Parks' game.
I wore my long sleeve lightweight hoodie to keep this on off me.
It's great.
Smart.
That's perfect.
Man, they've got the Western ones as well.
The Western shirt is like a pearl snap.
It looks like the original shirt, but it's got the Pearl Snap buttons.
And I really like the Marfa.
It's one that I wear out.
It's a good date night shirt.
It's a good fall shirt, but I wore it in the summer, too.
Sneaky year round.
Those are my favorite shirts, do.
Poncho is the best.
Their hats are great, too.
the graphic teas like Dylan just said, they're awesome.
It's fall.
It's football season, but like just gear up with poncho.

your email get $10 off and free shipping once you try one you'll understand why the boys have a closet
full how you want closer down with this Penn State store you want to talk in a few let's do Penn State
tomorrow okay I guess I don't know we're talk a little national football league we can do that
well is there anything in college we need to talk about too I think we're good there covered it um
Caleb Williams no I'm kidding we don't have to we don't have to beat a dead horse
He's not dead.
Did you put a hat?
Did you put a hammy?
Oh, Brady hates this.
I mean, I do hate it because I think if he was actually seriously injured, people would be more there.
Like, yeah, he got card off.
But he's not.
So it's safe to joke about it because he's totally fine.
But like if he was seriously injured and then kept walking around on it and made it worse, then people would have been upset too.
I want my, I want my quarterback babied.
This is a franchise guy.
The first time we've had a good quarterback in like three decades.
We're making fun of his reaction.
I'm fine with it.
I don't know.
I also like if someone's hurt
and then you make fun of them
for being hurt.
I know.
It's just the juxtaposition.
If he was actually hurt,
we would all shut up.
It would be like,
damn,
that sucks.
That's what we're not.
No.
So anyway.
Watch them boys yesterday.
Really was looking forward to them boys.
We had another,
an actual really bad injury.
We had a broken,
well,
dislocated elbow is the,
uh,
actual jaden jaden daniels the actual uh this is the medical the exact same injury he had was it last
year or two seasons ago i think was last year same same exact thing happened same injury so yeah the old
uh fully extend the arm fall down to brace it and uh it looked bad even got tom brady
dropping a little ship bomb listen he i know that he's just one of these like naturally
can't put weight on skinny guys that's just who he is and he probably can never change that
the dude's got to put some meat on his bones somehow some way but he's he's not going to last in
this league he's just not going to he is just he just gets tossed around like a rag doll he was
i hated for him but that's the truth just tucking it and putting just carving up the defense
cowboys defense the much maligned they were doing this thing where they're like we don't have to contain
him we don't really need to do that it's just
Jayton Dan. He was good, he was well, he was on his way to like 150 yards on the ground had he been in there.
Yeah.
Really tough. And this is like the, the freak accent where, you know, you're under center and your O lineman steps on your foot, your quarterback's foot and he falls on us and just, you can't do the fully extended brace.
You can't do it.
That's how little kids break their arms.
Especially when you weigh 170 pounds.
Damn.
That's a bummer for them.
Cowboys D, I was just, I was just bitching about the D.
The deck looked great.
Deck looked awesome.
CD looked awesome.
They are going to end up having like this top five offense and then just have this defense.
It's just, doesn't mean they can't get better, but like, man, that's kind of a bummer.
Waste a great offense like that.
I did something.
I had a couple of Modellos.
Did you?
Yeah.
Negro Modellos with a lime.
I had two of them in a glass.
And God did it hit.
When's the last time you just had a Sunday afternoon beer watching ball?
It's been a minute.
When's the last time you had a Sunday afternoon watching ball?
A Sunday beer afternoon watching ball.
I tried to replicate it.
I just glitched hard.
A long, long time.
He's not a beer guy.
Not a beer guy.
So it's been a long time.
Okay.
Well.
Probably college.
You said you had wine with.
the lady.
What kind of wine are you drinking?
I don't know.
She picks it out.
White or red?
We did red.
That was my.
She's usually more of a
so young blonde.
We did the
Cambo.
Last time.
So,
played a little switch.
That's so tight.
Yeah,
I don't know, man.
I don't know.
I don't really like
coming in here every week
and just complain about the Cowboys.
But,
Got a job.
Now you go to,
now you gotta go to Rio
to play the Ravens.
It's real time.
It is Rio time.
And they're already doing the,
you're already hearing
the grumblings of the field being bad.
And you're just like,
oh God,
why are we doing this?
Why are we doing this?
Oh, really?
I hadn't seen that, yeah.
Yeah.
That was last week.
Maybe they,
I don't know.
I don't know how they can,
anyway,
they got Lamar.
I got the Ravens.
Ravens fucking lost the Saints.
What happened?
I didn't watch any of that game.
The Saints are just not bad.
That's what happened.
Good for them.
Yeah.
Tyler Shuck is kind of the real deal.
Yeah, I mean, we were kind of ground floor.
We were.
Not a lot of people are talking about that.
Your Las Vegas Raiders are 2 and O.
Shout out to Clint Kubiak.
Yeah, we've been ground floor.
That's right.
We talked about it.
What a weird team, fun team.
I don't have a fun deck for the NFL.
I know a lot of people probably want that, but I just, I can't,
I can't commit to it.
It's one thing to run a college football one.
Running an NFL one is a completely different animal.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
It's just not as fun.
It's not as fun.
And like you can't have a fun deck without having fun.
That's kind of the whole thing.
Speaking of sports,
I did keep up with Purdue's score until midnight.
They were down four at halftime.
Like it's midnight.
I'm not staying up another two hours to watch them lose.
That's a team that's knocking on the door, by the way.
Purdue or UCLA?
UCLA.
UCLA is knocking on the door of the J-AFF.
I need to watch more.
I did check in on that game just because of the Purdue factor.
And I liked what I saw.
I like what I saw.
It's all I'm going to say.
Wow.
The fundex is taking note.
Shit.
Sorry about your boiler makers.
Yeah.
I had a moment in the gym today where I was going to walk into the shower,
had the towel on everything.
And there's a guy that I've exchanged pleasant trees with sometimes.
And he always wears a Bears T-shirt.
He's a Chicago guy.
And he was in there and he was at his locker.
And I walked by him.
I go, oh, what's up, dude?
He goes, hey, what's up, man?
I was like, good.
And I'm, like, continuing to walk to the shower.
And I go, oh, man, I was like, hey, sorry about your bears.
And then he's like, oh, God, yeah, I know.
And then, like, I just kind of kept walking into the shower.
And I think he wanted to continue, like, talking about it.
And I could hear him.
And I'd already turn the corner and I was already basically in the shower.
And I was like, yeah, I just kind of lob back.
I logged, lobbed that grenade and just got out of there.
That wasn't cool.
Well, if he just got in the shower with you to talk ball.
He just got in the side of the shower with me.
Yeah.
He's like, yeah, I mean, we all thought, you know, I guess it's, you know, glass half full.
We thought Caleb was, like, done for, like, his career.
But, like, turns out it was just like a tweet Tammy as we're just lathering each other up.
Ooh.
With a lufa.
Bill O'Reilly style.
Damn.
People forget it.
Anyway.
So anyway, that's my NFL coverage.
What do you got?
I got nothing else, man.
Come on, man.
Give him some homes.
Give him some more counting house.
Do you mind to buy a hat?
I don't think so.
Someone was asking for more colors in the hats.
I'm 11 for 15 right now in my
in my jersey Mike's sandwich picks.
That's pretty good.
I think I know ball.
That's pretty damn good, Randy.
What's the deal?
You just guess sandwiches?
You just guess you get a point for each correct pick you get for the weekend.
And I am 11 for 15 this weekend.
We'll see what tonight happens.
be 12 for 16 my jerry used to love a tuna sound sandwich he loved a good tuna sound sandwich oh my god did he
oh he did he put some sassy mustard in it oh he loved a sassy mustard it was so you know he
used to tell me i was his little sassy mustard and then i caught him with his secretary
darling you're kidding me really she was a nice girl she was very apologetic
It sounds like she was a little too nice.
She was also a real hoosy.
Wow.
Jeez.
All right, bye.
Bye.
Bye.
