Starting point is 00:00:04 That's a really interesting point you were making before the show. I've kind of been chewing on it this whole time, actually. I thought you might like it. All right, we're back. It's circling back. It's spooky season Eve. Welcome. My name is Dave.
Starting point is 00:00:31 We have some decorating it to do today. I forgot. You forgot? I jumped right in there. Sorry. I forgot about the decorating part. The decorating part. Running from the grind.
Starting point is 00:00:40 Uh Randall Trebaki Hey Dave Looking cool today Hey let me tell you I'm glad that Prette is not in the office today Because I don't want that stupid bullshit AI Fall jazzy sleepy ass music on there
Starting point is 00:00:56 Cause I got baseball to watch Is that slick back or pushback? It's looking extra slicked back today I think it's because I didn't have I didn't do a hair dryer this morning Would you wake up a little late today? I know how piece of shit you are Yeah. Well, I used to be a piece of shit.
Starting point is 00:01:12 Right. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. I'll wait till this weekend of fun, but quite the weekend I had. Quite the flights, quite everything. Oh, yeah. Dude, I completely forgot you were out of town. Yeah. I didn't forget, Rainy. Thank you. Thank you for not forgetting. Never forget. Rannie's great trip.
Starting point is 00:01:34 But people forget that I'm extreme baseball guy. Four o'clock today, right? Yep. Four o'clock. Do you want to be out of here at home watching it? Do you want to watch it up here? I'll probably have had home watching it. 1-0. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:01:50 I want to watch it with you. No. You're not a Catholic. You can't watch. Yeah. Actually, that's a great point. It's basically for knowing that. I got love for the South Siders, man.
Starting point is 00:02:02 I mean, I don't dislike them at all. Have been to a game? Yeah. To a Sox game? In Arlington. Oh, okay. I saw Bo Jackson hit the farthest home run at the old Arlington
Starting point is 00:02:14 stadium. I believe it was 474 feet to left center field. Time out. This was at Arlington Stadium? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Or the ballpark. This is the original. The original. The original. Yeah. That's a real treat. Ozzy Gien was also on that team.
Starting point is 00:02:30 Famously, the manager of the 2005 White Sox who also had your AJ Prisinski. Oh, yeah. Hell yeah. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:39 Good team. Great team. Great team. famously Dylan Shivery I wore my Jordans today there's a meme that's quite geisty at the moment
Starting point is 00:02:53 and I walk in here and no one knows what I'm talking about and I don't know how that's even possible I knew time out I saw it I saw it probably 800 times over the weekend Dave's like what are you talking about it's not true you described it very poorly I knew immediately what I was talking about
Starting point is 00:03:09 I don't think he's described it poorly I'm on Dylan side with this one Thanks, dude. He just, he said, have you seen the Rumpel Stiltskin meme? And I was like, I don't know. And then to hand up, I, I am not that familiar with Rumpel Stiltskin. By the way, double, double hand up? I don't think it's, I don't think it's actually from a Rumpel Stiltskin movie.
Starting point is 00:03:28 I learned that that's an AI generated video. It looks like it's for an old movie clip. So this checks out that you're super into it. I think it is considering Rumble Stiltskin is a little small guy that comes into a hay thing, and she's all in hay. No, I think it's supposed to be him, but it's not from an actual movie. Gotcha. Long story short, it was popping on the TL. I just had no clue.
Starting point is 00:03:50 The way you described, when you said Rumpel-Stillskin, and my knowledge of the rump is just not where it should be. As somebody who was born in Germany, I should know a little bit more. I've been tip-toned my Jordan's all morning, and y'all didn't know what the hell I was up to. Tell me to just play it? Yeah, just fucking play it, dude. I'm surprised there's not a full seg on the rundown. I mean
Starting point is 00:04:11 I don't know how much time we spent on this The boys react to me It's such a creepy little video I don't like this Yeah I'm not comfortable playing with this I don't like his little antics I don't like his little shoes I think that's the point
Starting point is 00:04:36 You're not supposed to like his little creepy face I don't like how I don't like how he He just set it up with some life altering gold there Mm-hmm which was the gold he dropped gold for her it's worth quite a bit of money well i think he turned the hay into gold that's the whole uh nursery rhyme or whatever he's uh she the her father said that she can spin hay into gold and then the king said well get the spin in and blocked her away clearly i'm unfamiliar with the rump just like dave yeah put that on her on it back uh yeah i guess we need to get caught up with our
Starting point is 00:05:10 19th century German folklore? Sure. I don't know. I don't really know. Anyway. Very, very cool. He's kind of got that shit on.
Starting point is 00:05:24 He does, dude. That's my new sleep paralysis demon. I don't know about them shoes he's got on, but everything else is pretty dope. Nah. Those are those, those are those Mexican cowboy boots. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:35 Those actually go real hard. That's true. At the, at the discotheca. all poignant and such hell yeah look those little legs man he's got podcast legs speaking of Dylan shivery man pretty excited about this week on the heels of do you know it
Starting point is 00:05:53 now we're gonna hit you all with spooky season it's also Texas oh you week for those that care not many of you out there probably I heard it somebody accidentally called it the red river rivalry shootout today or over the weekend on one of the broadcasts and I was like that's doing a lot. You're doing too much. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:13 Shootout sounded so much cool, but I guess gun violence is a thing that we can't do. So it's now the rivalry. It's a flag. It's also hard to say. Too much R all alliteration. Red River rivalry. Just call it to shootout.
Starting point is 00:06:29 I have a proposal for y'all. An idea I want to float out that I added later. It's going to be a full segment. I want you guys to give me some feedback on it. It has to do with Saturday. Are you test ballooning a segment for this show? I'm test ballooning an event that's going to be a segment on the show. Is it crazy?
Starting point is 00:06:47 It could get crazy, but it's probably going to start fairly tame. But there could be a beverage involved. We'll see. When is this test balloon? I thought this was the test balloon. No, I added a segment later. If you look at the rundown, I added a segment. It's called Dylan Floats an idea to Dave and Rain.
Starting point is 00:07:10 So this is what we did just now? I'm teasing not the test balloon. I'm teasing a test balloon. You tease the test balloon. I'm glad that you put that where you put it, because I was getting concerned looking at our rundown, and I saw back to back, this dude saw Jesus Christ, and then sup with this plague,
Starting point is 00:07:23 and that just sounds a little apocalyptic to me. I added a little buffer sec for you guys. Thank you. I hope you like what I have to say. The family had a lot of buffers. Are you guys here this weekend? No. You're not?
Starting point is 00:07:37 No. Actually. Facts. Oh, you're not. Yeah. Damn. You were like, I'm going to get him not putting it on the calendar, but I did. You are not here.
Starting point is 00:07:48 Randy, are you here? I am here? Am I available? I don't know. I'm still going to float the idea because you won't be the only one other person invited. I'll tell you what. I invite all the listeners to check out washout subsdeck.com. Fun Friday blogs.
Starting point is 00:08:05 You got three of them. Got one from me. And you got one from Dylan. And you got one from Sunday Scaries and former co-hosts of the show, Will DeFries. What a fun one. What a fun little back and forth. It was a very fun one. I enjoyed this one a lot.
Starting point is 00:08:22 So go to washcoastack.com. I was proud of it. Put in your little email. It's going to be in your inbox every Friday morning. Boom. I told Chelsea to read it. And she said, that's really funny. You kind of lost me with the cocaine part, though.
Starting point is 00:08:33 You don't do cocaine. Like, yeah, that's kind of the joke. I just enjoyed that. It was a complete ripoff. It's basically plagiarism. Derivative. Yeah. You were on your, what's that, what's that young lady's name?
Starting point is 00:08:48 L.O. Langley, sorry, L.L. Langley. The other one. Stele, still a lefty. You're kind of still a lefty. Actually, that was more egregious. She played ACL. Do you know that? I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:09:00 You know, you really look into it. It's like how these big news corporations cover the same story. One's favorable. One's not. You never know. Man, it is just like that. It's just like that. That's dope.
Starting point is 00:09:14 That could be a new segment. Yeah. The same story, but from two different perspectives. You ever think about that? No. I'm researching a later segment. Do you ever think about wash. Washmedia.com.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Washmedia. Do you ever think about that? Often, yeah. Of course. That hat you're wearing. That's where we sold that one. We have a few left. I think three.
Starting point is 00:09:39 I can fit them on one hand. Man. Go check it out. Out of office gear, washed media gear, this hoodie up here. It's probably still up there. It's hard to say. It doesn't. Just go check it out. If you want to watch, it's a visual show. I recommend you do YouTube. YouTube.com slash circling back. And then you can check it out on Spotify. I think Spotify is your best back. Go check it out. Spotify. Watch it there. Watch it live, though, on YouTube. The chats, there's probably like, the chat's probably busing. Monday morning. They like to get in there and just check in and see what everybody's doing. Is Jake from St. Louis in there? He usually is. He's probably lurking. Let me see. He's always lurking. He's always lurking.
Starting point is 00:10:18 Oh, goodness. And yeah, like Dylan mentioned earlier, we had the game show last week. It's back. Won't be around this month on Patreon because of spooky season, which does officially kick off tomorrow. Getting a lot of stuff. Spooky at washmeda.com. If you have a spooky story that happened to you, maybe a friend or maybe somebody in your town, some town lore, if you were built on like an ancient barrens,
Starting point is 00:10:40 burial ground and your town's haunted or some crazy shit email spooky at washmedia.com. I prefer a write-up. I appreciate when people just send like a link like check this out. My town's haunted. Give me a little. If you have like an interaction that you'd like to describe, do that. Makes it a little bit easier. Yeah. Please.
Starting point is 00:10:58 Or if it's like, if your, if your ghost story is too much for you to write down, I might even call you. Damn. If you want, just email me. Spooky at washedmedia.com. Let's do this weekend of fun. Hey, it's hard money, Micah. It's time for this weekend. Bro, let's go out this weekend.
Starting point is 00:11:20 There's a crazy event happening. I like to turn up. Bro, there's a crazy event happening. We had the party and it was lit. I got yelled out by a prostitute. Starting point is 00:13:37 Thursday night, ran out of here. Well, Thursday evening afternoon ran out here to go catch a flight. That had then gotten delayed four hours. So we were supposed to take up. We were supposed to land at 930. We didn't board until 10.30. And then we taxied out. And then they let us know that we're going to be on the plane for another two hours.
Starting point is 00:14:00 So we didn't get into Chicago until 3.30 in the morning. Oh my God. So that was fun. You were sitting on the plane for two hours on the tarmac? Well, yes and no. They did that. Then they went back to the gate and they said that people could be playing if they want to, which I've never heard of before and usually are never allowed to do.
Starting point is 00:14:20 And that's true because when people got off, they got on. They're like, oh, there's miscommunication. No one was supposed to get off. So now we have to figure this out. So quite fun. Oh, my dude. that sucks. I'm sorry. 3.30?
Starting point is 00:14:32 Yeah. So got home. So the whole weekend was just kind of like battling sleep. But we went to the wedding Friday night and it was a nice wedding. At any point did you think about tweeting at the airline? No. No. Because it was there just storms and everywhere across the country was just dealing with the stuff.
Starting point is 00:14:51 And it was more Austin's air traffic control. They're dealing with shit. So I knew it wasn't really Americans problem. So went that Then Saturday morning went to go visit Oh speaking of which Actually you know what I have a little Little sidebar
Starting point is 00:15:12 So we uh we we we boarded late But I got to put our stuff up on the overhead But it was in the back of the plane we were towards the front Megan had made me to go get our suitcases as soon as we landed I don't know I had to stand the aisle and I can say now having to be the first person standing Dylan. I've done it. And I can say this.
Starting point is 00:15:34 I have a re- aggravated hate for it. It's terrible. I don't know why you do it. You hate standing? Yes. Why? Standing in the middle of the aisle.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Fuck Brett. I felt like I was in the middle, like, every single time someone had to try to get their stuff up. Like everyone has to like scoop back and like, then like I'm ass right to people. I just felt like, I felt terrible. With his dump truck ass to? Now that I fully have been a. person that is standing on the plane as soon as I can say, I can fully say I've done it and I hate
Starting point is 00:16:04 it. So wait. Hold on to recap, you guys got on the plane. So you had to do the overhead compartment way behind your seats. Yeah. That has something to do with your aggravation with the situation? No, no. It's just more just standing in the middle of aisle. I'm like, I'm not going anywhere. What's what's the point? And I mean, so even sitting for multiple hours. It's nice to just stretch the stems out. Yeah, yeah. But like I can I can understand getting up stretch and then sitting back down. like sitting the whole time while people are just waiting to like debaort. And like I'm in a line of like 20 people that's going nowhere. And like I don't understand this.
Starting point is 00:16:37 I'm so much better than you all. Look at y'all sitting. That's my impression. Yeah. I guess I just don't mind standing for a few minutes. I don't know. And like people were trying to get through to get back to their seats. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:16:50 It was just. Well, that's why you're supposed to do it right next to your seat. So if you need to get out of someone's way, you can step back into your space. True. You know. But I don't know. If you're just standing in a no man's land, you're a problem, which I've, I've issued that caveat to this rule before. You got to stay next to your seat.
Starting point is 00:17:07 So then Saturday morning went to go down to Champaign, Illinois. That was two hours. We visited her friend, just had a baby, then went up to northwest Indiana, visit my brother and kids for a couple hours. And then we pretty much all Sunday was just sitting at her parents' house, relaxing, doing nothing. Tell me out. Did you rent a car? No, no. We borrowed one of her parents' cars.
Starting point is 00:17:27 so that was nice. Because I can't imagine getting in at whatever time you got in and then having to go to the rental car. Are they even open at that hour? Good question. Who knows? So got to see a lot of her friends and family. Got to see some of my family.
Starting point is 00:17:42 So it was overall a good weekend, but then we got delayed another hour on the flight back because of Austin Air Traffic Control. So overall, very exhausting weekend. Good to be back. It was nice having a little bit of fall weather. And hey, shout's to Purdue, White Sox, and the Bears all getting dubs.
Starting point is 00:18:00 I'm big sports guy now. All my teams are doing well. So I'm back in. He's just back into life. That's huge. Yeah, I didn't, when you said the text that you're going to be a little late today, which you were like four minutes late or whatever,
Starting point is 00:18:14 I did not even put together that you had just traveled home from Chicago. Yeah, so I didn't probably get to sleep to like midnight last night. What was the weather like up there? It was nice. It was like we had just avoided all the rain, and it was pretty much sunny and like in the 60s the whole time. It was like perfect fall weather. I can say.
Starting point is 00:18:36 I was like, yeah, I do miss this. What a treat. Dylan Shivery. Man, it was nice here. A nice gloomy fall weekend, which I absolutely loved. Vibes were on point. Friday, Chelsea and I went to Echo, had a little dinner. It was wonderful.
Starting point is 00:18:56 I was not expecting that. I had to remember if that's where I put it. That's fantastic. Saturday, Chelsea and I went to go see Heart of the Beast with my old man, Alamo Draft House, got me a personal pizza, played the Zah card, which is really good there, by the way. That movie's great. If you all give us a two-sentence descriptor. So Brad Pitt is the lead.
Starting point is 00:19:23 He's a former military. I believe he's a Greenberg. Barre. Oh, too sick. And he's retired in his combat trained canine, which is a German shepherd, Odin goes by Odie. He kept him and the dog is also retired. And they, they flew out to a remote part of Alaska and they'd had a little camping trip. And then flying home, the storms got bad. So he had to fly home early. He had a heart attack mid-flight, crashed the plane into the wilderness and then he and the dog had to survive while trekking back to a road up to get help and they run into some shit along the way and it's it's a it's a really good movie the dog's badass
Starting point is 00:20:10 badass odin he's got three legs he lost one of them in combat dog has PTSD damn yeah it's good It's real good. I'd like to thank them both for their fictional service. Two scenes. One of them, they encounter a grizzly bear. It's like the biggest grizzly bear you've ever seen. And then another, they're being stalked by wolves at night. Dude, that grizzly bear pulls up.
Starting point is 00:20:38 You know your belly. Yeah. No, it didn't go down quite like that. He didn't. He didn't shell up. No, it was going to be bad. No, it's good. It's good.
Starting point is 00:20:48 It's sad. It'll tug at the heartstrings. Great. I already know what happens. I want to hear it. Don't want to watch it now. Sorry. I won't spoil it.
Starting point is 00:20:57 It does sound like a great movie. It is. It's a fun watch. If that's in play, I'm probably not going to watch it, though. Sunday, there's a major chore weekend. Got some stuff done. We were getting the nursery ready and hanging stuff. Get some updates to our guest room.
Starting point is 00:21:15 Chelsea's parents are going to come stay with us this month. And pretty much, yeah, watch some ball. It was fun. It was a good, nice, low-key week. Nice little key fall weekend. You got to get ready for the Red River rivalry shootout. Yeah, I know. The triple RS.
Starting point is 00:21:29 It's a fun week, man. It is a fun week. What about you, Dave? Their shoes are kind of given, uh, kind of given boomer, dude. What? They're giving boomer. Oh, you know, they are kind of crimsony, aren't they? I don't want to say anything.
Starting point is 00:21:44 Yeah. Those are dull. I forgot you had those. I believe the official color of these is cardinal. They do look. They do look, uh, yeah. But, you know, that actually makes more sense. Pretty similar.
Starting point is 00:21:55 Cool. Oh, man. Well, I got some beers with a couple lads on Friday. Went to Kelly's Irish pub with a friend of the show, Ryan. And Will DeFries. Glaring, uh, claring lack of Dylan. Yeah, I was invited, but I was, I had a honey-do list that I was knocking out. And I couldn't, I couldn't really get.
Starting point is 00:22:18 I was in the zone. Couldn't get away from it. Oh, man. the first fall-ish weather Guinness pours just delightful head two
Starting point is 00:22:30 posted one on the story at DC Rough I was just like dude this is such a good Guinness I have to post it like I want people to know that that drink is something that I drink whoa you drank that?
Starting point is 00:22:41 Yeah that's sick dude it's not for show it's not just like oh can I order this and just let us sit here no I drank that I wasn't informative
Starting point is 00:22:49 he was actually drinking that and enjoying it, guys. Oh, man. I love that place. Kelly's Irish Pub. It's like it's on the, we're not big enough to ruin a place. It's not like if Rogan said,
Starting point is 00:23:03 oh, I love that place. You know, it would be ruined. Be toast. But like, also, it's like the perfect amount of crowded. You know what I mean? It's a great bar. It is a great bar. Service is good, man.
Starting point is 00:23:14 Shut up Kelly's Irish pub. I had the little, like a little, like a pit, like a little, sausage in a blanket type thing. It's just a little one-hitter and just... It's almost like a little Irish wanton, is how I describe it. Very good.
Starting point is 00:23:33 What else, man? Friday, I graciously turned out an ACL invite. I caught a little bit of... I got some fomo. I was watching a little bit of the stream on Hulu or Apple TV. I don't remember where it was. I was like, man, this is fun. And then I started seeing people's posts, but with the mud and the rain.
Starting point is 00:23:55 I was like, yeah, I'm really glad I didn't go do this. This seemed like a total beating, actually. It was very muddy. Yeah. Really? Like, you're basically going in there wearing waiters. And just, I can't imagine the ride home. And there's another weekend of it, and this weather's supposed to be nice, but the ground is all, it's just torn out.
Starting point is 00:24:14 I saw they put down 60,000 square feet of turf. on Saturday morning, which they laid down sod. So you're saying? No, it was like, it wasn't saw it. It was like just artificial ground cover. Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They had like they had some guy come out and he's like, yeah, some guy,
Starting point is 00:24:36 turf company probably changed his trajectory of his year. He's called the sum. Yeah. He got in there and they interviewed him. He was like, yeah, we got, we're putting this down. It's going to probably take us a few hours. Probably didn't barely. I don't know what, how many acres that property is.
Starting point is 00:24:49 but it still looked really muddy. All the drone shots were just terrible. But everybody had a good time. Everything I've seen has been positive. Probably, I don't know, be careful out there. Take a good shower when you get home. You don't want to get scabies. It's true.
Starting point is 00:25:07 Saturday, man, it was a big not leaving the house because it's raining all weekend and my kids are stuck inside. So we've got to put up like the tents and stuff inside and let them just play. It was a wild one. A lot of college football, we had, we'll get to this in a bit, but we had some good games early. We had some good games late. Everything in between.
Starting point is 00:25:29 Just kind of watch ball on and off again all day Saturday. It was very, it was one of those days where you don't get outside, you don't get any sun, and you just kind of feel, you get a little bit, what's the word, cabin fever, if that's the word, in one day. Seems too much, but it was. It was definitely like that. Then Sunday rolled around. We weren't sure if T-ball was going to get canceled. We had a late game, 345 T-ball game. Chiefs caught the dub.
Starting point is 00:25:59 Great game. Great performance. Went home, caught the finale of lanterns. I watched. I was able to download it right before the flight took off. So that was nice that I got delayed, I guess, a little bit of flight back because I did get to watch. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:14 I liked it. I can totally see how, This show really, really is tilted towards people who have some knowledge of that universe in that comic book. Otherwise, it's like, why do I care about this dude? Like some of these people. What's our dude's name? John Stewart? No, the other guy.
Starting point is 00:26:35 Paul Jordan? They broke out. Oh, Sanestro? Yeah, yeah, him. Yeah, he's like the main bad guy, I think, usually of Green Lantern universe. Dude, shout out Sneaky shout out Matt Ruhle cameo That's my only spoiler
Starting point is 00:26:51 Head coach of Nebraska Oh, okay, yeah Yeah Just very, very odd And then yeah You know, cut them boys Before the tee ball game Went rolled right into a tee ball game
Starting point is 00:27:06 Coming off of just another Extremely stressful Dallas Cowboys football game Dubdo The last try I was next nasty. We're, I really hope people appreciate what four is doing. Dak is so good.
Starting point is 00:27:24 He's really good. That last drive, go watch. You're right. He did almost turn the ball over on that first play that drive. It's okay, though. It's okay. That throw to CD from the opposite hash mark. Yep.
Starting point is 00:27:38 So sick. Nasty. And then the top, me, indeed. I'm not sure what you're doing on the last play. Game ball CD though. just put up numbers 17 catches yeah
Starting point is 00:27:51 do you want do you want some pressure on the opposing quarterback in a in a hell merry situation could we did not do that I don't know if you noticed we had no everyone was back I'm conflicted on that I don't know I mean I
Starting point is 00:28:06 do I want like 11 guys in the end zone trying to knock it down that sounds like an advantage sure I don't know how much I don't know how beneficial it is for the quarterback just to sit back there as long as he wants. Yeah. But I didn't hate it.
Starting point is 00:28:21 If you go back and watch, that ball was actually a little bit closer than you'd like of getting caught. Because for some reason, whatever the DB, whoever the DB was, just said, I'm not going to even try to knock it down. I'm going to try to catch it. You can just knock it down. That's the cool thing. It's hard to fight the, I want an interception feeling.
Starting point is 00:28:42 The masculine urge to intercept the ball. Yes. When it's obviously not the move in that scenario. Yeah. Because it doesn't benefit you one way or another to intercept as opposed to knock it down. What's the last play? Facts. Big facts.
Starting point is 00:28:58 Other than that, finish the gentleman as well. I may have mentioned that last week. I rewatch the finale with Alyssa last night. It's good, man. It's a good finale. It's a good show. All in all, a great weekend. And I did a little spooky season prep.

I'm not cutting in half or anything, but it's getting there. It's very difficult in our line of work to be out of fun, but we're getting there. Won't be Texas dominated because Texas had a buy famously. But yeah, I don't know how much you watch Saturday. 11 a.m. was kind of the highlight of the weekend.
Starting point is 00:31:21 Bama. Yeah, Keelan Camario. That's the matchup people wanted to see. Man, yeah. Two of the more exciting young quarterbacks in the country, Keelan and Camario, both a lot of fun to watch. Camario, we've been talking to him up all season. He's just electric.
Starting point is 00:31:38 The way he throws the ball is, he's got an NFL arm big time. Didn't play particularly well. Two quick turnovers in that. that one and then just too much Bama, too much. That offense, the Bama offense is, is nasty. It really is nasty. Keelan looks legit. Keelan Russell, of course, been a kind of a fixture on this pod for really the last two to three years.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Where do you go to high school? Duncanville High School. That's up, you go up 35, about three-ish hours. And then you exit 20, cut on over. Okay. through yeah you're going through desoto and then bang you're right there through south dallas bang you're right there you can exit exit cedar ridge you'll go up all the way up you'll go to that light right there's a stoplight and then you can go right over a redbird lane area or you can go left by the
Starting point is 00:32:31 high school right down cedar ridge you go a little bit further there's a taco bell right down there's a taco bell or you keep going there's a cvs and there's a walgreens right across the street okay you go a little bit further there's what used to be a blockbuster back when I grew up, and it's now a physical therapy place. How about that? Oh, wow. That's interesting. Is it clocking to you, Randy?
Starting point is 00:32:54 It's very much clocking to me. I'm not 35, so I don't understand why you would talk like this. Now, here's the thing. Go back a little bit about 100 yards on that blockbuster. There's Center Street. Center Street, make a left. There's what Hastings Elementary used to be. That's where I went home at the Huskies.
Starting point is 00:33:12 You went to Hastings. Uh-huh. I didn't know that. I was a Hastings Husky. Damn. I was Mr. Husky. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:19 From the pageant? You guys had a pageant? Yeah. Okay. I had to go out there and I did like, I basically just went out there and hit the quon. Okay. That's probably what. And they're like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:33:28 You're the guy. Damn. Yeah. Two times actually. Third grade and four great. Two time. Mr. Husky. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Mr. Husky is what they called me. It was interesting. I was a slight kid as well. You were. So yeah, Keeling looks great. He's getting better each week. um is he is he in the conversation for the high i mean he's definitely right now a high's been hopeful um i saw someone say that all all cc roads lead back to bama and georgia and yeah they they both
Starting point is 00:34:00 look really really good yeah at the moment got a big one this weekend against no no no bama bama georgia oh they play each other yeah oh shit that's right and little little uh little something to watch i this isn't i don't want to do a full preview or anything but there's a little situation going on in the Gulf of America. Okay. It's got a little chance of development. I'm going to shift a little bit east and north. What I'm saying is it could be moist.
Starting point is 00:34:29 Okay. It could be moist. So just something to track. You heard it here first. That's the primetime game I'm hoping so I can watch it. Has to be, right? I would think so. You can't put that out against the Red River rivalry shootout,
Starting point is 00:34:42 which is a 230 kick this year. Why are they messing with it? I don't like when they mess with. I like the 11 a.m. Kick, personally. I think a lot of people disagree with me on that. It's never going to be a nighttime game, by the way. I like the idea as somebody who may go to,
Starting point is 00:34:55 maybe in the rest of my life, I might go to one or two of those games. I like the idea of, like, getting up early, hitting some bloodies and going right through the fair. Yes. Hopefully the weather's great. God, there's nothing better than when that's a cool, like a cool weather game,
Starting point is 00:35:09 or like at least a decently crisp morning. Yeah. Go right into it. Hit the barley house the night before. Oof. Well, yeah, Bama's good. We've been on them, dude. Elsewhere in the SEC before we move on, Florida, who was flying high.
Starting point is 00:35:27 Josh Pate even said this might be a 2019 LSU type of offense. That was very premature. They got absolutely shut down by Mizzou, a four touchdown L, Florida playing Mizzou. Mizzou. Stay tuned. But Missou, we haven't heard the last of them this segment. Austin Simmons, transfer from Ole Miss. That dude's pretty good.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Good player. Yeah. A little humble pie for Florida there. Hungui. Colorado played Texas Tech, and it was not a close game. They got killed. Colorado seems to be falling apart. It was first half, I feel like, was closer than you thought it would be.
Starting point is 00:36:09 Yeah. Colorado does not have a quarterback. An interesting side note in this one. There is a Texas Tech fan who I guess was staying at the same hotel where Colorado was, the football team was staying. And it seems that someone on the staff for Colorado left behind their playbook and their opening drive script, which is common for, you know, the first like handful of plays to be scripted at the beginning of a game. And they found this like, okay, I don't know if this is real or not. And it turns out, Randy, if you click the link in the rundown, you will see that the play calls that they found were perfectly accurate. And they even do like a split screen.
Starting point is 00:36:59 They show the play right there on the bottom left hand corner. And then you'll see Colorado running the exact play that's on the play sheet, which is just hilarious. And people are, go ahead. They had to be aware. Colorado had like, there, there's something. many people associated with the program that are online. They had to know that this is this was out there. Also, but like what, I mean, what do you do, though? Is like, what are the chances that this play sheet gets in the hands of Texas Tech's defense, the de-coordinator? It's like, okay, now we can,
Starting point is 00:37:30 we can plan for these exact plays. Like, it's a long shot. Even if a, if a family, hey, we found this, like, I don't know if this is real. In the era of, like, the Conner Stallions of the world, like, that being a real thing where you have people devoted just to, like, espionage and all that, Like, it doesn't shot, it wouldn't shock me if you had some, like, eager analyst type or, you know, video coordinator who saw this and then just boom, incorporated this. But tech did not look good. I just tripped over his own feet. People are reminiscing about 1999 Mike Leach situation. You guys remember this one? The fake play script. He was the offensive coordinator for OU in 1999 and for the Texas OU game. Mike Leach intentionally accidentally dropped a play call sheet. similar to what we're looking at here,
Starting point is 00:38:17 which is the opening, opening drive script. So he dropped it on purpose, right? But he acted like he was an accident, and someone, Texas found it. Like on the sideline. Yes, like over by,
Starting point is 00:38:29 literally on the field. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it was, the whole thing was fake, which is just genius. Mike Leach is the man. The whole thing was fake. And they,
Starting point is 00:38:38 oh, you jumped out to like a very strong lead because of, because of this. They ended up losing the game in 1999, but hilarious. Williams. Ricky Williams last year was 98. So this was the year after Ricky.
Starting point is 00:38:50 Who's QB1? This was probably, I don't know if Alpa White was still there. It may have been Apple White. I don't remember. Richard Walton was another. I don't know. Put some respect on Mike Leach's name. It's hilarious.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Colorado State, Dave. What happened to the Colorado State game? This also has JFFB3 implications. You know what? Can I just jump right into the JFFB3 and I'll cover this? You can. Randy. You also have a polarizing take it says here.
Starting point is 00:39:33 It's the JFFB3. It's back. We actually finally had some movement in the fun decks. I'm not going to hit it every week unless there's something fun that I want to talk about. And I want to talk about some fun things. Some teams, definitely some movement. Mississippi State, as you probably are, you probably are, you probably we know where this is going with them. They didn't look very fun against Bama. They have fallen
Starting point is 00:39:58 out of the index, fundex really. It's tough to stay in the JFF victory. But you asked about what happened with Colorado State? Well, Oregon State happened. Okay. And Jim Mora. Just a classic fact 12 matchup right there. Dressing down. Dressing down, his DECD demoting him, midway through the game. You don't see that. And the guy left the game. He quit. He's left.
Starting point is 00:40:31 And for that reason, Oregon State, in addition to being right there top the Pack 12, they are now the number three team in the JFFB3. Oregon State. Yeah, we got some backers, Oregon State fans, and they reached out, and I was like, I'm aware. And they were persuasive,
Starting point is 00:40:50 and they are in the JFFB3. there are two losses you have H in Tech and they played both of those teams very closely so that's a good squad yeah that is a team that is in play for the Pact 12 I'll tell you a team that's not in play
Starting point is 00:41:05 for the Pact 12th Texas State anybody else stay up past 1 a.m. Central time to watch Texas State blow a lead to a team that has a quarter of their starters out with the mumps I did oh no I did I did say that they lost I didn't see how it happened
Starting point is 00:41:19 it's pathetic It was bad. It's the second bad loss of the season, first being UTSA. The Texas game is not a bad loss. They did get their ass kicked by Texas, but that's understandable. Texas Day is, it was really demoralizing. Group chat was just miserable. Everybody was just up late drinking and just watched that.
Starting point is 00:41:40 Just coughed it up. Clearly don't know how to run a two-minute drill. It was just, it was bad. I can't even describe how that was. But yes, again, San Diego State, the Aztec, the team that had a number of players out with the mumps, wins that game. It's inexcusable.
Starting point is 00:41:58 And for that reason, they're out. We talked about Bama. Not just because of the personal interest we have in Keelan, as we are the only show to be, I mean, we were calling for Keelan years ago. We were ground floor of Keelan guys, I believe. I think that's fair. Bamma's your number one team in the JFFB3.
Starting point is 00:42:22 They dethroned the Bulldogs. They dethroned them. Mississippi State straight up just out. Okay? So you got your number one team. You got your number three team, Oregon State in the JFFB3. It's a Fondex subjective. Who's your number two team?
Starting point is 00:42:38 Utah had a buy week. So it's not them. It's not them. Did you have fun watching them? I didn't watch it. Because they didn't play. Right. This is tough.
Starting point is 00:42:49 It comes down to two teams, two SEC teams. You have a team we've already mentioned. Their quarterback, Austin Simmons. They have a fun offense. Yeah. They get after it. They get active. Then you have a team who we're talking to a new bread out there.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Not as fun to watch, but they seemingly are always in a fun game. Kentucky. Yeah. Overtime went. Tough out. It's a tough out. They're just a one-lost team. stuck it to the Aggies a couple weeks ago.
Starting point is 00:43:20 I am going to put Missou. I'm giving Missouri their props. This is a nod to producer Micah to my my old man. So to recap, we got Bama 1, Missouri 2, Oregon State 3. Yeah, I know. People are going to be like
Starting point is 00:43:36 why this fun decks is very SEC skewed. Sorry, these are fun teams. I didn't see very many fun games elsewhere or fun teams. So yeah, that is it. That is my JFF. Fee 3. Okay. Okay. Oregon State, though, rounding it out. Fun team. Pack 12. Dude, and also shout out to Baylor. Shout to Dave Aranda going over to Arizona State and just laying the lumber. The most head-scratching game, you never see that out of a Dave Aranda team,
Starting point is 00:44:09 like start strong, finish strong. I was lagway looking. Good? Good. You're like, okay, like you're starting to see why he was a five-star, very coveted player. He's talented. A couple years ago, he's got the talent. So that's the B3. And let me give my controversial take. Okay. Randy, I sent you something.
Starting point is 00:44:27 We put up the little tweet us sent you earlier. You're going to hate this, Dylan. That's not it. That's it. You like these. I thought these looked good on camera. I thought these Aggie camo uniforms. I thought they were pretty good.
Starting point is 00:44:46 I didn't hate. I didn't hate them. You know, they had the issue with the end zone. Didn't look great. My only problem with them, I couldn't see them. Yeah, it looked like one team out there on the field playing against nobody. I did not see anybody out there. I got to imagine the offense.
Starting point is 00:45:05 It was probably hard to spot the other, you know, who the quarterback was throwing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. A defense, they were able to sneak up on everyone. Bounceback dub. They won. Just saying. No, I'm just saying I didn't hate these as much as like, Banner.
Starting point is 00:45:19 Yeah, I didn't, I don't hate them. I don't hate them. I mean, I do have a thing against alternate uniforms in general, you know, but if you're going to do an alternate, you know, giving a shout out to our military. I'm cool with that. Why don't you look into that camera right there and give a shout out to our military? I support supporting the troops. Wow.
Starting point is 00:45:41 Even if it's A&M doing it. How about that? Well, they're in military school, right? Okay. No. They're not. That's the always edgy producer Randall Trumbacky folks. Hey, happy to be here.
Starting point is 00:45:54 All right. Anything else on ball? I don't think so, man. I think that's just good clean slate talk. That's clean slate. See, we talk about the fun stuff, you know? If you get demoted midgame, you do leave, right? By the way, the game was, like, well in play.
Starting point is 00:46:12 Like, it wasn't a blowout then or anything, by any means. Like, at that moment of the dress down. He got absolutely poured out on the sideline. Yeah, I think that had more to do with him quitting than just the demotion itself. It's like, dude, you just, you're humiliating me right now. And so I don't want to be, I don't want to stick around. But no, that's probably not the right way to handle it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:30 It's like getting, you know, taken out of the game when you're like pitching a no hitter and you have no men on and, you know, only two outs left in the game. And your coach takes you out. You don't want to give up the ball, so you fight your whole team. Who did that? I forgot. How? have you not watched the how far behind are you in the interns
Starting point is 00:46:52 I still have the finale this was the last episode before when he was a kid okay that's it's some lore yeah yeah yeah his dad yeah his dad backed him up here's here's my impression of this is this is my impression of a guy
Starting point is 00:47:07 who just got dressed down and demoted midgame on camera okay hmm you're Tim Robbins this is Tim Robinson getting demoted midgame. I'm gonna leave. I'm gonna leave.
Starting point is 00:47:25 Cut your fucking mic, dude. He? Go for it. Go for it. Poncho. I love poncho. How much do you love poncho? It's officially like,
Starting point is 00:47:38 poncho is year-round, poncho outdoors, but like, let's be honest. Pancho kind of feeds in the fall. Wait TLC the poncho I'm wearing tomorrow. It's gonna rock your shit, dude. Are you serious? When I saw there was like a lot of giveaways like for ACO because of the rain, people giving away ponchos.
Starting point is 00:47:53 I was like, dang, that's pretty expensive. It's actually not the same. Just a rain poncho instead. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Punch outdoors. I cannot wait to see what Dylan's pulling out tomorrow. The fits are dialed. I've got the I've got this shooting shirt that's just begging.
Starting point is 00:48:06 It's like, Dave, you need to go shoot. Wear some birds. Do we wear the shooting shirt? Where's tomorrow? You don't think I will. It's spooky season. I can still wear it. You can wear it for the first episode.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Okay. Yeah. The Western shirt. which is like their denim option. I think Dylan, you wore it last week. I did. It has the pro snaps, correct? It's soft.
Starting point is 00:48:25 It looks like it's going to be like one of those rigid, you know, denim uncomfortable ones. It is not uncomfortable at all. Whenever you see like a Western inspired shirt like that, you assume like, oh, this is going to be a little thick and it might be a little uncomfortable. Exactly. Not the case with this one.
Starting point is 00:48:40 Made for performance. Then you got the flannel. It's medium weight for durability. Again, wicks moisture and dries fast. And don't sleep on the corduroy rugged. but soft. Worn in feel with touch a stretch. Corderoy's nice as well.
Starting point is 00:48:54 This season, go to poncho outdoors.com slash steam. Enter your email to get $10 off and free shipping on your first order. That's P-O-N-C-H-O-Outdoors.com slash steam. Go there. Drop in your email, get $10 off and free shipping. I got something for Rhodes, my five-year-old, seemed to be six. He got the camo one. He loves it.
Starting point is 00:49:17 I bet he does, too. man, poncho outdoors. This was a big player on the TL. Anytime anybody goes to the afterlife, comes back and has a tale to tell. I'm all ears, I always like to see. What do people see when they go to the other side? Cross over for a bit, right?
Starting point is 00:49:41 What happens? Yeah, people mention, like, their live flashing before their eyes, like a highlight real playing of their whole life. Like, for you, like, for you, like, you might flash back to the time. you were on a road trip and you had to have the truck pull over right out it's a it's a highlight reel it's not a low light reel yeah maybe like that my first game pop corner football when I intercepted that pass and and took it 60 yards you just were high
Starting point is 00:50:03 stepping into the end zone 60 yards to the house that that's through up the shark fan yeah as you high stepped in it I did the d on in the end zone this is Gabe porrott and uh not only did he visit heaven he was there for 18 days it's a long time you get settled in Yeah. Yeah. Like you're a regular. He met the man. Says he's a Christian YouTuber and evangelist. He's a Christian YouTuber. So was he, okay, question. Was he a Christian YouTuber before he died and went to heaven? Great question. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:50:39 Because I didn't realize that. I am not one to, I am not one to critique someone's afterlife experience. I don't think that's, who would I be. I just think some of the descriptors he uses of our man, J.C., Lord and Savior. If I was... They're interesting. This looks like if you look up NARP in the dictionary, this guy's just there. This is just, he's just total NARP lives. Okay. He just had a experience.
Starting point is 00:51:11 He died. What happened to him? I don't know. Like when he... You visited Huffin for 18 days. I know, but like, how did he... Like, what... There's a picture of him in the hospital, and he's, like, got tubes and stuff.
Starting point is 00:51:20 I'm wondering what the accident was. It doesn't matter. He met Jesus Christ and then goes on to explain what he looks like. 18 days you were in that coma. You had this experience. You came face to face with your Savior. And then you woke up. How has your life been different since that experience?
Starting point is 00:51:37 Yeah. Now with every single person I meet, I tell them of the love of Christ and that he did it all for them. And he died and rose again. And also I love how, you know, all these other testimonies, they didn't meet a female Jesus. They didn't meet a soft or a passive Jesus. Jesus is a man.
Starting point is 00:51:54 And especially in America, he's been misrepresented. And especially even, you know, there's so many cultural things that present him as if he's some just tolerant guy. It's not the Jesus I met. He's a lion. But he's not a lion angry against me. He's a lion angry for me. He's a Mustang on my behalf. He did it all for me.
Starting point is 00:52:12 And what did he look like when you saw him? Pure fire. He was 5-11, like six feet, yet as tall as eternity. hit like an ocean of love, yet his eyes were burning white and red at the same time. And, I mean, talk about testosterone, like a Mustang. I'm telling him. He's the lion of Judah, and there's a roar within his voice. All right.
Starting point is 00:52:37 A Mustang and a lion. He's got testosterone. He's all teed up, dude. I have to, I've never heard of that descriptor used for religious. deity you're kind of a Mustang too I don't know I'm feeling kind of a bar if seeing someone in the afterlife that's like you know seems like made of fire and burning red eyes I'm not I don't think that's Jesus oh here we go Pope guy he's fire though sounds a little like the other guy uh yeah I look I feel like I feel like I do like the idea that he's a lion not an actual
Starting point is 00:53:26 line, but like, that's a good descriptor. It's like, he's a lion. Why is he intolerant? I don't know. That's kind of his main... Kind of feels like you're thrown in a political point there. Yeah, like he seems, you know, he seems like a pretty tolerant fella from what the Bible portrays.
Starting point is 00:53:44 That's where you're wrong. Yeah, I guess I'm wrong. Sadly. Just average, just average tall height. Just, you know, not showing off. He's not 6, 7. So when you pass, your body does produce DMT. So that was his, you know, DMT, you know, it's a drug you can do recreationally, right? I've never done it.
Starting point is 00:54:11 I don't think anybody, any of us have done it. People often have experiences like this where they go and they see, you know, they see stuff like this. I do, I've never thought about testosterone Jesus. I've never thought about like when you know, hopefully it's a long time but you know, meet the maker. I never thought about like
Starting point is 00:54:34 what I know, would I understand his T levels? Like, is that something that factors in to you? Like when you were sat down to select a religion were you like where's the savior at with testosterone?
Starting point is 00:54:50 Like what let me see is biomarkers. Yeah. It seems like, and I don't, you know, it seems like he was kind of in a dream state, you know, and he, in this, and Jesus took on a figure like he wants him to be portrayed. I do like the idea that he's just kind of, he's just kind of ripped up. Like, not like. Right. Do you want him like, like, bulky, like dude who probably played some college ball and has added, like, some body facts? So he's got like the broad shoulders and you see him.
Starting point is 00:55:25 You're like, that dude's strong. He can bench two, 25 multiple times. Or do you want him more like lean? Like that dude does a lot of cardio. He probably lifts like once or twice a week. Like a guy who can bang out like 25 pull-ups, you know, like lean. Yeah, what do you want? What are you looking for?
Starting point is 00:55:39 I want him to be a little, um, got to have some, some traps. Traps are good, you know? I want, I want him a little on the, on the husky your side. You do? Built like a, um, you want bulk Jesus? Built like a linebacker. that's been retired for 10 years.
Starting point is 00:55:55 10, okay. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Erlacker. Erlacker. Post. No, pre-plug Urlacker. Pre-plug.
Starting point is 00:56:04 Okay, so Jesus is bald. No, I'm just, but like, he's just, he's age, aging gracefully. Yeah. If, in fact, that is something that happens. Okay. It's interesting. Good head of hair on this guy, by the way. I want my Jesus, like, calling dealerships and then hanging up on them, and then
Starting point is 00:56:22 explain to me why that dealership did all the bad sales tactics. That's the type of Jesus I want. Okay. So when you go to the pearly gates, it's like, it's just like, hey, come here, I'm going to show you all the sales tactics you did wrong there. All the mistakes you made as like a young sales person. That guy's got some tea. It's all a lot of tea. Yeah. Did you all happen to see the video? I didn't think it was worthy of sharing, but there was a video and I genuinely tried to figure out if it was AI and I don't know, but it's of like a guy who's like a, he's on a safari. I don't know if he's one of the guides, but he is, he comes face to face, like literally face to face, the lioness, a female lime. And they just kind of stare at each other, like eye to eye for
Starting point is 00:57:06 what feels like 20 seconds. The guy sitting on the back of the truck? I, yeah. Okay. And I, everything about it says AI, but I could not find proof that it was AI. And then all the comments are like this is actually, this is actually what you should do if you ever come face to face to stare at it. Because when they hunt, they're looking for something that's not looking at. You know, interestingly, in Heart of the Beast, when the grizzly bear approaches. Yeah. So Brad Pitt and the dog are in like a little stream catching fish or something or just drinking water and the bear runs up. And Brad Pitt looks at his dog and he says, don't look at it. Eye contact. Look at me. Look at me. I think that's like if you stare at the bear
Starting point is 00:57:48 that you know it'll aggravate it more something to do he goes eye contact but the dog refuses it just stares down this bear doing what a dog's supposed to do and then the bear finally backs up and runs off it was a dope scene i don't know the proper protocol if when you're approached by a grisly if it's brown lay down yeah grisly yeah you're not i don't know and he had a he had a rifle to be he lost the rifle in the plane crash so he didn't have it with them anymore he just had this long stick where he tied his big bowie knife to the end of it? Well, if it's me, not going to be a problem. Two deadly weapons already registered with the state of Alaska.
Starting point is 00:58:32 Arguably four, but my feet are out of day. I need to go get them registered. I can't use them legally. Expired. I can't use my feet, sadly. So it's just going to be, all right, there's one of these right here. Ready? These hands, they don't haze.
Starting point is 00:58:47 They don't haze. You're just showing them to the bear. Yeah. You try to get the bear to the ground as soon as possible. Because, like, and, like, just straight up, stand up, like, you're not going to win because they got those big bear paws, literally. You try to get that bear down and tap it. Okay. I'm trying to help you out.
Starting point is 00:59:04 I don't know why you're not listening. I don't know if I'm going to take that advice if I come across a grizzly bear. I don't know why. I don't know why. By the comments, this video, people are making fun of the kid. I invite you to go just peruse the comments. I initially was like, okay, I don't want to, like, I feel we
Starting point is 00:59:24 I don't want to like it's kind of a touchy subject I don't want to rip a guy's coma dreams but then you find out like he's a YouTuber and stuff you're like okay but there he was he was in a coma
Starting point is 00:59:40 like that is that is facts yeah it is very convenient that like the Christian YouTuber doing an interview on Fox now has a very agro Jesus Agro Jesus yeah it is very PCP principle. Yeah, which is no longer politically correct principle on South Park. It's now
Starting point is 00:59:57 power Christian. He's power Christian. He just changed. Yeah, I don't know. I mean, that is kind of where we're at. Yeah. A little bit more testosterone. We're testosterone society. Look at this guy, man. This guy needs to inject some teeth. Would you just give him a break? He was injured, very badly. Yeah, he was to heaven. I don't know how long ago it was. Dude, if I miss a week in the gym because I had like a sinus infection, I look like, I come out of it, I'm just, I'm fucking, I look like shit, I'm miserable.
Starting point is 01:00:26 So you think he hasn't had a chance to get back in the gym? I don't know, I mean, maybe not, but I know me. I'm like, oh, there's nothing worse, dude. Well, there are some things worse than missing five days in the gym. But it does, it does suck. Dude, okay, I want that descriptor for my, my savior. A Mustang. Mustang's a beautiful animal.
Starting point is 01:00:46 Beautiful word, too. Sure. I think it needs to be used more. By the way, don't sleep on the ponies. Okay. All right. Look, I know they've had a setback, but they're hanging around. Speaking of Christianity, I went to go to the pet blessing.
Starting point is 01:01:06 Catholics do this on October 4th, Dylan. People bring their pets for St. Francis, and the deacon made me do a reading. And I had a read in front of everyone. Really? How did that go? It went well. I think I even. I don't know if I stopped too early or not, but I didn't stumble.
Starting point is 01:01:21 But I was just like, I was like, no, I don't really need the reason. Wait, how did you get selected? Because I was just standing there. He did he decided to just pick me out there. Yeah, just in the parking lot. It was just dogs and cats. And then they just sprinkle holy water. How many people were there?
Starting point is 01:01:36 Yeah, about like 30. Oh, let's get them up here. He's a podcast producer. He does his own game show. Brandy, come on up. Bless the pets, buddy. Bless the pets boy. How is Dylan doing?
Starting point is 01:01:54 How is Dylan doing? Oh, he's doing fine, Deacon. Oh, good, good, good. Tall is eternity. He still got his little podcast legs. Yeah, he does. Maybe we need to bless those. Get some ball.
Starting point is 01:02:04 Get some testosterone. Jesus testosterone. He's no Mustang. Yeah. He's not a Mustang. I got an inch or two on JC. Sounds like height wise. 5.11, maybe six.
Starting point is 01:02:16 Maybe. Hey, how about we just, let's just, let's just round. up let's just go do just call him six dog just go it's like a big six though yeah six at least tall's eternity he said type shit you see when you're on drugs facts you thought about getting back into drugs at all uh no no like mate like what if what if you would have an experience like that like how far are you willing to go on the drug thing dm t scares a shit out of me yeah i will never i will never partake in dmt or anything that's like that my spirit molecule yeah i can't i
Starting point is 01:02:53 I'm not ready to see that side of my soul. I don't never, I don't think I'll ever be ready. Yeah, it'd be tight to meet J.C., but I'll wait until I die. Hmm. You know? Kind of answers the questions that Lois Lonely Boys ask. How far is heaven? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:03:15 How far what? It's heaven. Oh, what, you're too good for a Lois Lonely Boys reference? I just didn't understand. You shout out Randy. Yeah, because Heaven must be missing an angel. I haven't heard about them in a long time. They kind of fell off, I guess.
Starting point is 01:03:30 I felt bad. Why? The boys were just lonely. They were. They had each other, though. Ah, no. Grooviest. Fun little groove.
Starting point is 01:03:41 Sure. Give us a couple while I prepare the next ad to read. I don't, I can't. Wow. It's been a long time since I've listened. Oh, guys, we're actually hiring, looking for a podcast host who can hit U.S. some most lonely boys went to ask.
Starting point is 01:03:58 What a disappointment. Really? Oh, God. Sorry. You're not a Mustang. I can't think of any other songs at the moment. You're not a Mustang. I'm not a Mustang.
Starting point is 01:04:06 Dylan, you come out and you're like, I'm a miniature donkey. He was a longhorn. I mean, just like a stacked longhorn. He was the craziest thing. Like the animal or the, like the fan of the team? Dude. I mean, he was just decked out in a t-shirt from H-E-B.
Starting point is 01:04:22 He had an archmanning jersey on. He had an arch shirt on. Sure is he. Yeah, he said, like, look, man. Yeah, we got some room to improve on offense, but like this defense is a championship caliber defense. That's right. This is what he told me.
Starting point is 01:04:36 Imagine Dylan having a near-death experience, and then he comes back and like, yeah, I saw Jesus and like, what he described, what he looked like. He presented to Dylan as a giant anthropomorphic hot dog. You just couldn't tell people that that's how many looked like. I would keep that to myself. You ever see contact?
Starting point is 01:04:55 hallucinations. Do you ever see contact Jody Foster? Yeah. You know how like the the intelligent life presents itself as something that'll be like palatable for her and I think for her it was like her a family member or dad I can't remember for you what if it is like the aliens like they get you you go you go through the portal the wormhole and you're there and you're like what is this and all of a sudden just a hot dog right and it's like hey we thought this would be more like consumable You could easier to swallow, so to speak, for you. We did some research back into your past. It seems like this is your favorite thing.
Starting point is 01:05:32 Everyone talks about you with it. So just assumed. Yeah, yeah, it was like a bit. I didn't even like care for it. And it went on way too long to the points where people probably got tired of it. But like it still made its way into listener madness or whatever every year. So it was just like, but yeah, thank you. I appreciate you guys getting me all the way here to this alternate universe just to hit me with the hot dogs.
Starting point is 01:05:55 thing. Then you're just going to do like a space bar segment for them. Let me teach them a little bit about space that they might not know. Yeah. I'll teach them a little song. Oh man, you did darn wrong. That the one where the spaceship is just kind of hovering above the ground? It falls through and everybody thinks it failed.
Starting point is 01:06:09 But in reality, she traveled through, uh, I'm thinking of a different movie then. There's one where the spaceship, like, they arrived to Earth and they're just kind of hovering above ground. It looks like a big, uh, bean kind of, but it's massive. That is one from the last one from the last. last few years. I leave Amy Adams. Arrival. Arrival.
Starting point is 01:06:29 Thank you. Good movie as well. Pretty good little movie. Yeah. You ever try to watch one of those movies? You're like, man, it's only streaming on XYZ service. And then you subscribe to XYZ service and you're like, oh, man, I forgot to, I was subscribed to that.

So on Saturday morning, I made just like the most amazing batch of pumpkin spice pancakes. I just want the boys to try these, right?
Starting point is 01:08:15 thought about the idea of having a pancake social on Saturday morning. Now, Dave's not going to be here. It's just like we do with the shirts, Randy, a pancake social. Dave's not going to be here. So, I mean, I'm okay with postponing it if you are. If you are actually interested, don't say that because that means you don't want to go. No, I'm saying, don't wait on me. It's college football Saturday morning.
Starting point is 01:08:39 We'll have game day on. I'm whipping pancakes up for the boys. Bring the kids, you know, bring Rody. bring Sammy they'll like my shit coffee coffee will be flown might even mix up some bloody marias
Starting point is 01:08:53 or some bloody marries for the squad I don't know it depends what kind of mood you're in if I did one of these for like 9 a.m. on a. What are the chances you guys will pull up? Is Chelsea going to be there? Of course. Can't do it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:07 It's too awkward. It's for the boys. Oh, I thought it may be too awkward between you two. Oh. With me being there. No, but if Randy's going to be there too It's gonna be real awkward
Starting point is 01:09:17 Yeah, we're gonna be talking about Pineapple and pizza the whole time I want you guys to try my shit dude That's the thing Why don't you Why don't travel well? Why don't you open up a food truck? They don't travel well
Starting point is 01:09:28 Because I have a job That's why Why don't you just make them here Running from the grind We had a fan send us a grill In the microwave? We have a griddle I'll bring it in
Starting point is 01:09:36 Because I took it home And you can make him here You brought that griddle home? Yeah Is it a good for you It's like a mobile It has its own fire source and everything.
Starting point is 01:09:44 It's just like a heated griddle. You just have to like plug it in. I would have to take it home and get used to the griddle. Because I don't want to, he wants to play a home game. I want to play a home. I want you. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:09:55 it's an event. Well, I will be out this weekend. Where are you? Megan has friends coming into town and we're going to ACL Friday night. And I'm going to be honest with you. I have, I'm just not going to want to get up at 9 a.m.
Starting point is 01:10:08 No, just bring them. Maybe a different weekend. You'll get up at 9 a.m. I trust me, Dylan, after this past weekend in the next couple days, do not look like they're going to be. I'm going to push it. I'm going to find a different weekend.
Starting point is 01:10:19 The weekend after I'm available. Okay. I got to be honest, can we have a donut option? How about you bring donuts? Man, I just feel like if you're hosting, I shouldn't have to bring anything. Well, I'm literally making pancakes.
Starting point is 01:10:37 No, Rhodes would, I mean, if we're going to do it, we should go out, all out, because Rhodes loves. The kid's obsessed with donuts. I guess most kids. Well, he hasn't had my pancakes yet. But if he prefers those, he doesn't even know yet. Let's do the weekend after.
Starting point is 01:10:51 T-ball permitted. I don't think we have a game on staff. We're going to push this. But I'm going to put it on the books. And you guys, I want you to come. I'm going to invite the squad out there, too. Whole squad's invited. It's a pancake social.
Starting point is 01:11:04 What's not to like? No, I'm in, man. Yeah, we'll see. I'm in, but I don't know. I don't know. We'll see. Maybe we can, let's get, let's let's, let's, Let's pull our money.
Starting point is 01:11:15 Let's get Chelsea massage or something so she's not there. I just can't. It's Saturday. You know how it is. It is Saturday. I'll make you a bloody Maria. Like there's a reason this is not around Saturdays. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:26 I always pay for her to go to a day's ball. Okay. Because it's like, what are you doing here? Like you look up at her and it's just me and my sons and I'm like, I'm sorry, babe. It's just, this is for the boys today. All right. We'll push it. We'll push it.
Starting point is 01:11:39 And the girls may or may not be invited. I don't know. No, I'll let Chechie. She's fine. As long as she makes muffins. She wants to do the bacon. Oh. Yeah, it's not just a pancake play.
Starting point is 01:11:52 I'll even throw a couple eggs on there if you guys want. Okay. Eggs on the pancakes? No, no. This is going to get crazy. On the stove. You should invite some listeners. I don't think so.
Starting point is 01:12:07 Okay. Sorry, I was trying to incorporate the listeners into this crazy event that's happening. You hear that chat? You're not invited. I don't want to make a thousand. pancakes, you know. It's a labor of love. It takes time to make these things.
Starting point is 01:12:20 I haven't had a pre-noon Saturday drink in a long time. You're due. About high noon. Ha ha. We're having fun here. I'm still going to get that giant Dave Portnoy bobblehead
Starting point is 01:12:33 for the studio. The one at total wine? I think it was huge. Are you going to try to steal it? No. Old Brett would love that. Mm-hmm. All right.
Starting point is 01:12:44 What's up with this plague, man? Let's just do it tomorrow. You want to push it? Yeah. All right, we've got to play. I kind of wanted to, like, go out of the news because I don't really want to think about it. All right, we'll push it to tomorrow.
